1st time coming here..Kayla was great! Awsome Services . Great Deep dish đ and also great Atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

Hear me out, I know you have to try deep dish pizza when youâre in Chicago but I honestly didnât think it had that much taste. I ordered a six cut cheese deep dish but I just found it to be like eating a lot of mozzarella sticks at the same time with basically what tasted like marinara for the sauce. Donât get me wrong the environment was cool and the way the staff displayed the pizza for you was great but overall I just found it lacking on the taste side. Maybe just a cheese pizza was the wrong play for this? On the other side if you get an appetizer the garlic fries with ranch were very good. I canât say this review should persuade you one way or another Iâm just saying personally I think I may have hyped it up more than it really was.

It is worth the wait! Best deep dish pizza. The atmosphere and the friendly service was very nice. The check in was a good experience.

They make good pizzas, I don't deny it, but I think it's one of so many places that live off fame. The wait is long after you have ordered, almost 40 minutes between the arrival of drinks and pizzas. The portions are large, with a small pizza two people can dine.

Wonderful green pizza from Chicago. I went after reading the recommendations and did not regret it. I ordered one of the most popular pizzas and also ordered a small entrance salad. Both were delicious. Fast and attentive service, recommend

The Dip Dish pizza was just perfect!! We order the Chicago Classic and we loved it. Also the bruschetta delicious, very fresh. The service was great

Horrible. Very disorganized and without explanation as to the order sequence, where you pick up, whether you sit or not.... No one understands about the time i-men-so waiting Not really worth it

We went to eat Chicago's specialty in terms of chalk: Deep bread. Delicious. Full of mozarela cheese and peperoni. Filled a lot but worth it

Delish. They took our order and we shopped at all the shops while we waited for our table. Super good use of time since he said each pizza bakes for 45 minutes. Cheese pull was epic! The small was waaaayyy too much for two so order accordingly or bring your appetite!

This was our first time eating at a Giordano's pizza. We ate here on Tuesday night and Wednesday night both, it was so good. We had no wait either time, service was fantastic, pizza came out in 20 to 25 minutes instead of the 45 we were quoted. Service was excellent, restaurant was clean.

You're tortured to unleash great flavor. Yes, itâs delicious, but youâre at least 40 to 50 minutes in line! I donât think itâs worth it, but they serve deep dish pizzas like the san sebastian and theyâre delicious, but Nothing MUST BE BIGER THAN THE GOODS!

This location has the 10.99 lunch special until 3pm as of January 2026. The lunch special included a 6 inch Chicago deep dish pizza and fries. Please consider that the 6 inch Chicago deep dish pizza has as much dough and cheese as a competitorâs traditional large. This location is close to the old Chicago water tower.

If you LOVE cheese this is your pizza. Itâs. Deep dish and a couple inches of cheese. Not a cheese fan, or really a pizza fan so my review wonât be fair. Try it! Hopping placeâŠbusy and lots of cheese.

Giordanoâs has earned its place as a Chicago staple, and I respect its long history and popularity. However, while the deep-dish is good, I couldnât help but feel there might be other spots in town offering a more memorable take on this classic pizza style. Still worth a try for the experience, but Iâm curious to explore what other Chicago pizzerias have to offer.

My first time having a real Chicago deep dish pizza, and it was quite an experience! So much doughy goodness in a single slice.

Giordano's deep-dish pizza is legendary. Each slice is packed with gooey cheese, savory sauce, and your favorite toppings. The crust is crispy outside and soft inside, making every bite delicious.

An Italian who sees pizza abroad already knows that, of course, he will not find the real and only Italian pizza, except for a few rare cases that have happened to me. Rare. But here at Giordano's you read Pizza and "Italian fresh pizza" everywhere and it is misleading. I write to the Italians. Well know that it is not a pizza, but like a savory pie loaded with mozzarella lots of mozzarella, tomato sauce and other ingredients that you can add. We took two with the sausage and couldn't finish the "small" one, their size is 10" Having made this clarification that I consider fundamental, in Chicago this Deep Dish Pizza from this Giordano's chain is very famous, so I think that a taste should be done at least once. They are very famous in Chicago, so I recommend booking, if accepted, and anyway know that you have to wait, once ordered, about 30-35 minutes. Courteous staff and great drinks/beer with second top up for PEPSI included as usual in USA. Once, at least once, it should be tried but do not expect to eat the real pizza.

Food and drink was great.. however, the waitress dropped our finished starters ,smashing all over the floor which put tomato/chilli sauce all over my jeans, over shirt and t shirt. Waitress was upset and couldnât apologise enough and it was fine as it was one of those things accidents happen. The manager came over and I said it was fine and she seemed happy enough I wasnât going to cause a scene and offered money off the bill and apologised again. Bill came $137-00 no deduction ( in fact there was a surcharge of $3.97 presume they billed me for the broken plate) I asked the waitress ( who was probably unaware of the managers offer) about the discount and she disappeared with the bill. She came back and said they have gave me 20% off And left the bill. Total $137 , 20% discount 11.36. Iâm English so maybe you do math different over in USA but this didnât seem quite right, so in true English tradition I sucked it up didnât complain, paid the bill and left a tip also. No issue with food or service ( we had a lovely night ) but if you do offer something because of a mistake you made then honour it . Update on the t shirt- ruined Jeans - they will live to fight another day Overshirt - currently soaking in hotel sink . Will hang out the window on our road trip tomorrow ( route 66) to dry and see if we can save. If not Iâll be very unhappy , I packed light.

The pizza delicious the only smell on arrival already wants one to stay there, the size, the ingredients, the amount alloo great!!

The vibe and atmosphere were great, the food was very good! The server was a bit lackluster not super friendly, but seemed to be busy and was behind the bar a good bit so thereâs that. We had a group of 4 adults, and shared the Italiano salad and large Meat & more meat pizza and had 4 slices left over to take with us. Definitely a must try, the pizza really was delicious!

Fast lunch before our Check-out. Lunch on the terrace, Problem of beer pump , finally managed to have our beer đ€Ł took a small salad while waiting for the cooking of the famous DIP Dish Very good salad. The delicious DIP peperoni cheese that we havenât finished matte takes as tradition wants

The pizza is excellent, even though it's not a spinach pizza. Even though we asked for a small one we couldn't finish it. Excellent service and attentive and courteous staff

Ordered a puzza to go, they ignored the marinara sauce request and gave us bbq chicken with a caramelized layer of bbq sauce on top. It was awful. The worst pizza I have ever tried to eat. Most of it is in the bin. Waste of USD50.

Good food, nice atmosphere! Very good Greek salad and fried squid as well. Good place for family dinner!

Good place to eat pizza. We were walking down the street and it caught our attention. Once inside, nothing out of the ordinary. The pizza arrived lukewarm. The good flavor.

crowded place. the times for the famous pizza alta and 'variable between 20 and 40 min. with a pizza you eat in three. maybe in the meantime it is worth taking an appetizer. not bad x being in america

Very friendly waiter. Quick service and the pizza is worth the wait for it to be fresh made. We really enjoyed our date night here.

My first time in Chicago so of course I had to try this landmark and I was not disappointed!! The pizza was amazing with such a flaky, buttery crust. And surprisingly the salad was very memorable as well!

First dinner for our very first America trip. Very nice deep dish pizza! If you are planning a trip to Chicago is a must dinning experience!

All the food was great and the service staff was friendly. The deep dish pizza was delicious and the appetizers were great as well. Worth a stop, especially if your hotel is nearby.

So pleased we made the time to stop here for an early lunch before the baseball game. It takes a while for the pizza to cook but we nibbled on some cheesy garlic bread while we waited. Free refills of our cokes, which is a rare thing in Europe, and is appreciated. The pizza itself was really good. Very cheesy and tasty. Sausage, mushroom and onion. We bought one of the t shirts afterwards too. The staff were nice too.

Excellent service from Emily, who was really kind and helpful, and delicious food. The carbonara is highly recommended, and the quantities were substantial. We would not have found this hidden gem in Bristol otherwise, but it is well worth the trip. It was almost like being in Rome again! We were quite pleased when we left, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We can't wait to go back and experience Italy again.

Their specialty is deep dish pizza and it always seems a good idea to stick with what a place does best. Our waiter was great, willingly making our requested substitutions. Deep dish takes about 45 minutes so its a good idea to grab some appetizers and salad to start. The beer and wine menu is limited but seemed to satisfy everyone at our table. Its a HUGE restaurant and the wait can be intimidating but I understand that you can actually order your pizza ahead of time.

Good experience. I tried the typical Chicago pizza (I half liked it, I don't know) with my wife and a friend, the place is good, and the service good.

Not even the most greedy loan sharks would have asked for 102 dollars for 2 pizzas and two beers. Doing catering without being fearfully attached to money: is it that difficult? There are many pizzas as good as this one and at much more modest prices. Usurped fame, theirs. Stay away from this place that does armed robberies

This pizza joint was on our list during our visit to Chicago. We have tried their restaurants in the late evening on Sunday, but wait times were longer than an hour, so we decided to stop for lunch on Monday. This restaurant is located near Magnificent mile. It did attracted lot of tourist crowd. There was literally no wait time, and we were seated in a few minutes. The reception staff and waiter were friendly. We ordered Greek Salad, Fries and the famous Deep dish pizza. The waiter did suggest us to order the right quantity of Pizza and not to overwhelm us. The Salad and Fries were perfect and kept us busy till the pizza arrived. The star of the show arrived in 20 minutes, the deep-dish pizza was perfect. The temperature was perfect. The sauce, cheese all balanced really well. It was a moment where we felt satisfied and happy we tried this place. If you haven't tried deep dish pizza, then definitely try this place out. !!

If you dine in restaurant expect a wait of at least an hour to get a pizza because they cater to take out pizza orders. The family style sizes on entrees were large. Service was good. We recommend but be aware of the wait for deep dish.

The manager was rude to us, yelled at us and we had no one to complain to, lousy deal. We're not coming back! If I could put -5 stars I would.

He always distrusted this type of establishment so recommended in all travel guides. Especially when they belong to big chains. I can imagine the typical local focused on tourism. With that aggressive promoter at the entrance capturing groups of tourists with dreadful offers,,,,Snacks for free...happy hour... 2 for 1...you get me...And those "nice" waiters deploying their repetitive joke repertoire in every possible language... There's nothing like that here. You donât feel like a simple out-of-place tourist here. An excellent pizza place in a huge place. Good deal and great service for an unforgettable meal in a family setting where you feel comfortable just walking through that door. It's not cheap, really... it's just a pizza... but it's really special. And if youâve been in this city for a few days, youâve already found that âcheapâ is not the defining adjective of this city... A small pizza is more than enough for two "normal" adults... I still distrust the bartender's word, but I confess he was very right. Let's be advised. We have to let our guard down... from time to time. $20 a head...more or less...pizza and soda...You don't need more. To say the least... maybe the entrance is a little confusing. There are people waiting for your takeaway order at the same access to the room. If you want a table in the premises, you have to make it very clear to the staff who receive you... Although, I think, my level of English was to blame. I confess. I'd pay to go back.

We were staying at a Hotel in the downtown loop area and had Giordanoâs delivered. It was delicious!!! We ate the leftovers for lunch and late night snacksđ

Deep dish was a must do on our trip! Giordano's makes a great deep dish! And our time was made even better by La La, our amazing server. What a gem she was!! The only negative was a photographer who tried to take and sell pictures of/to us. I didn't like that. I would recommend this place to anyone. And I hope you get blessed with LaLa as your server! đ

All six members of our part did not enjoy our pizza. Both pizzas had no taste, the dough was actually not fully cooked. We had high expectations but unfortunately there were not met. Might give it a try again in a non tourist location.

The pizza is ok. The vegetable one had too much cheese and not enough vegetables for my taste, but I'm not a big fan of pizza anyway. My salad with chicken was meh. What ruined the experience was a guy going around taking photos. He came to our table while I was in the rest room. 6 places clearly set for diners and a glass of water. My family tried to tell him to wait until I was there, but he took the pictures anyway. He came back later to sell us the photos, but we wouldn't buy them because he didn't take them of the whole family. We told him so. We hadn't even gotten our food yet, so he could have taken a new photo, but he didn't. I'm normally the one who would have bought the photos, but I was upset that he had taken them without me. It seems like a very poor sales strategy, to take photos when the whole party isn't there. He seems to be a permanent fixture- I don't know if other Giordano's have the same thing, but I hope their photographers have more sense.

This was an ok restaurant. The atmosphere is noisy as others have described which wasnât the issue. More the conveyor belt nature of the experience. Plus the deep dish pizza wasnât very nice, more like a hard pastry and bland.

It is a good option to go to Chicago. It's nothing special but the experience is worth it. I did not go to the matrix, where they tell me that the experience could have been better; Even so, I still have a good taste of the pizza in my mouth. The establishment as such has nothing special.

First time here, was looking forward to coming here.. my server was terrible!! We couldnât get a high chair for our one year old, but I seen other families with them!! Our server didnât greet us and ask what we wanted to drink I literally had to ask for drinks! We waited over a hour plus for our pizza to come out and it was not good, honestly little Caesarâs tastes better then what I had. She didnât come to our table but maybe ONE other time before we got our check. Had to ask multiple times for boxes.. terrible service terrible pizza.. all around a bad experience 0/10 disappointing Chicago.

If we don't call it pizza, the deep dish pizza eaten in this chain, I liked it, well seasoned, very tasty. The immense environment, but we had to wait, however well organized. Recommendation!

My mom and I had lunch here on Sep. 1.The deep dish pizza was delicious and the salads and drink were so good! They allow you to order your pizza while you wait to be seated. Our waitress, Darlene, was the best; very attentive and engaging.

We've been there many times, but this time my husband and I went for pizza. Dominique served us very well. The only thing we didn't like was that we went for St. Patrick's Day. They took some photos of us that we thought were for their social media, and then they tried to sell them to us. Acting angry, the man left. It's in very bad taste that they didn't notify us because it wastes everyone's time.

The place is very nice, but the pizza not so much, it may be because we live in SĂŁo Paulo where we have very good pizzas. But it's worth the experience.

We did not know the restaurant, but through the videos on YouTube, we became aware that it was a place to be visited. The first attempt was at the branch in downtown and we were very poorly served, to the point of getting up and going away. Looking for a bit more, we found this one and it was completely different, starting with the tranquility of the place. The service was excellent, was friendly and very attentive. The pizza we ordered was a delight and was the traditional one. This I recommend, it's worth it.

Half an hour wait, then two hours clock for a pizza, the waiters don't show up and when I ask for what's missing they tell you patience. A disaster

So, I was at a private party hereâŠ.appetizers first, calamari and mozzarella marinara is all I can remember , but they were both really goodâŠ..salads were also very goodâŠ.next was pasta, it was like a big Ziti , it was also good but, served coldâŠ..then the pizzas came âŠ.pizza was great but also served coldâŠ.there were probably 60 people, but thatâs no excuse to serve cold foodâŠ.we had a great time and we ate and didnât complain, but I would think twice before having a large party dinner hereâŠ..

Giordano's in Chicago is a must-try! The deep-dish pizza is incredibleâsuper cheesy and packed with flavor. The crust is flaky and just right. The vibe is cozy, and the staff is really friendly. If you're in Chicago, definitely stop by for a delicious meal!

Great food, but their table is sloped. My drink fell off the table and went all over my pizza. I now have a very soggy pizza.

Excellent place, if you go as a couple with a deep dish pizza of 6â is enough, do not get carried away by the sight. They have imported beers at a great price.

A real treat, really good and tasty, various flavors, friendly staff, I recommend eating it with 3 people. Promoted

Yes ok, it's not pizza... or rather, it's not pizza as we Italians understand it and in fact it's "Chicago style". Honestly, I found it good... shame about the 45 minute wait for cooking otherwise we would have ordered another one!

Highly recommend the pizza here â it was fantastic, especially with how much cheese they use! Be prepared for a crowd and about a 20-30 minute wait, which makes sense since it's a Chicago must-try. But aside from that, I absolutely loved it.

The italian beef sandwich was good, my kids really enjoyed the deep dish pizza. Service was OK. My husband's personal deep dish pizza was accidentally served to another table so the wait time for his meal was an hour. The waitress asked if we wanted to speak to a manager, we understand that mistakes happen so we did not speak to a manager. However, having been a server in the past I would have spoken to the manager myself to ensure that the cost of the check was modified. This did not happen. Overall experience was good.

So far years I have come and always eaten Lou Malnati's. TO me I have been missing out. No contest here. Best deep dish in Chicago by far! It is heavy and you won't need more than two slices, but it is amazingly good! The house salad was amazing as well! Highly recommend.

Disappointing. For many years with every stay in Chicago. We go to Giordanoâs for a deep pizza. Over the years, quality declines This year the Pizza had little flavor in particular, the cheese, which was very quickly, sickening, an expeditious Service. Too bad. We will change address.

The Pizza is good but maybe a bit better but then again the other food is more delicious than my local pizza place so it's pretty good in my opinon.

We had to eat here as advised by others. The pizza was so good! I didnât think I would be a fan of so much sauce on top but it was yummy! We also tried the garlic fries which weee delicious! My only complaint was the wait time. They were super busy and we were immediately seated but were told we would have to wait 40 minutes to get our pizza. It wasnât u unbearable but that was a big wait time if you are in a hurry.

We were having a few days in Chicago and thought that we should try the pizza. We went for the deep dish as that is something that you cannot get in the UK. We loved it. We had the sense to order small as the portions are very generous. The interior is very functional but the food was great.

Went here to try the famous pizza and added wings in our order. The wings are good and also the salad. We were excited with the deep dish pizza. It was good but for someone who is health conscious, one slice is enough đ

Overrated pizza!! I heard so much about deep dish Chicago pizza I had to try it! But I would take a NY Pizza over this everyone!!

Wandered in after the Pearl Jam concert at 11:50pm for an order to go. Half the menu was still available as it was too late for a deep dish order (understandable) I went with the Italian beef. Two people working registers, one took my order and she was helpful, the other literally locked the door in front of me while trying to exit and redirected me to leave through the restaurant entrance. Food was good as it was my first attempt at Italian beef opposed to pizza, filling and high quality.

We like the atmosphere but were def surprised at the quality of the pizza. We ordered the thin crust and it had no flavor. So disappointing. Everyone at the table agreed (5 of us). We were surprised that there were so many good reviews. We will not be returning.

Restaurant staff did a WONDERFUL job of seating and serving during a very busy St. Patrick's day evening. Absolutely flawless "crowd control" but in a very warm way. As a former waitress, I alway think one of the true tests of a restaurant (beyond food) is friendly, efficient service during a rush. Giordano's staff made the grade to be sure!

I recently tried the specialty pizzas from Giordano's, and I was blown away by the creativity and taste! their pizza is always fresh out of the oven, with a perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and toppings. And with friendly service and reasonable prices, the cozy atmosphere makes it the perfect spot for a leisurely time with family.

Place was packed but hostess was great helping us place our pizza order while we wait. Great time saver. The pie was DENSE. Come hungry or leave with a box.

Pizza boa. The place is not pleasant. Extremely noisy. It really is hard to stay long. We left at 7:00.

The branch located in Navy Pier, is small, tines to order your pizza and wait between an hour and an hour and a half to go to the dining room, already being there the average waiting time is half an hour, the service is good and the taste of deep pizza is very good, the salad lousy in presentation and quantity,

Overpriced pizza. Personal pizza (6 inches) takeaway for USD22 is a rip off. And it did not taste good. What a waste of time and calories

Amazing deep dish pizza. Very loud restaurant, but it is to be expected. It takes around 40 min to make it, so maybe donât go there starving or order a salad meanwhile.

This is not pizza. This deep dish is a cheese casserole. The thick base is hidden by intoxicating layers of thick white mozzarella. Red stuff is painted over the top half covering a big white lie amount of mushrooms and meats. I have no clue who is enjoying heart stopping amounts of cultured diary goo calling itself an Italian pie. My good friend and I had to delve in despite my apprehensions as he needed to sample the Chicago style once in his life. I had been surprised how fantastic deep dish can be in Peoria of all places at Peoria Pizza Works. However even the origin city and authentic restaurant namesake here does not match up. I did like the menu variety, good beer on tap, noticed a lot of fun loving eaters all over the first floor and then second near us as dinner time came on. Staff was timely and polite. Menu offered more than pizza with few for dairy or food sensitivities. I'd definitely try should I ever be forced here again. Considering the prices, location, and overall vibe this is a touristy trap almost worth watching kid's eyes bulge at the food candy and easily fill their stomachs in one slice, but for the rest of us who desire and expect pizza, this is not the place.

Visited the downtown Chicago, Randolph Street location. The Meat Plus More pizza was very delicious Unfortunately, I canât say the same about the atmosphere. It was loud to the point we could not hear our own conversation and visually distracting to the point it was almost dizzying. I wouldnât return for that reason.

First time in Chicago and a museum employee recommended we get our first Chicago deep dish pizza from here. We were not disappointed! We got the Classic Chicago and it was delicious. The server was very nice and helpful as well.

Good. There are pizzas, but this pizza is delicious and visiting Chicago requires eating its Stuffed deep dish, very well cooked and good taste. Your prices are reasonable and to prepare it you need 45â, so be prepared

The house salad was excellent. We ordered the wings with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing. We enjoyed the wings a lot. The Giordano deep dish Special pizza was very bland. The dough was undercooked. The cheese was undercooked. It contained very little sausage, mushrooms green peppers and onion. We were not impressed. The 321 beer was good. The service was excellent

Authentic Deep dish although they also call this stuffed pizza and it delivered. A lot of mozarella and the crust was very light. Go for the appetizers assortment.

We are locals and order frequently from the rush street location. The food is tasty, but buyer beware. There's been a change of management for the worst. We order delivery and the drivers are faking delivery. Our video surveillance shows the driver pulling up, no getting out of the car or approaching the door/ringing the bell, or contacting us through the delivery app, and driving away in less than 3 minutes. We were sent a picture 5 minute after the driver left of our front door. Not to mention the pizza was 20-30 minutes late when it "arrived". We called the restaurant expecting a quick apology, and hopefully a pizza for dinner. "Manager" Steve Harry had not apologies, only insults. If that's how they treat repeat customer, tourists beware! They probably spit in tourist food.

I usually donât leave reviews but the first time they messed up I figured it was a one time. No, ordered chopped salad, there is always something missing. No bacon, no red onion, pasta under cooked. Pizza, their BBQ chicken thin crust was always awesome, now they put some processed bacon on it. Very disappointed. Wonder if they even read their reviews.

I sat at the bar and had a really great deep dish pizza but the barman was surly, indifferent and had clearly been cleaning the bar with a rancid cloth judging by the sour smell of the place. Make sure to get a table if you eat here.

Great food and great service. Loved the Chicago style pizza and the wings. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Chicago

We got the deep dish pizza Chicago for the house, only we had to call them to prepare it for us because it takes an hour to be ready! The result was perfect, adorable! I highly recommend it from this particular store chain!

Brilliant food and fantastic atmosphere and service !! The deep dish is worth the wait - around - 45 mins . Service is attentive without being too intrusive

If you do not to have customers, please donât change. The worst staff on hearth not able to answer question like « how are you? »

Good is good but the wait was too long. We arrived at 1:30 pm. Didnât expect the wait will be that long. We pre-ordered our pizzas before we got seated. Got seated around 2:20 pm and our pizzas were not served till 3:10 pm

Food was pretty weird, didnât taste great. Deep dish was pretty burned, It would be one star but the service was awesome. The servers were nice, and very understanding.

I loved the deep dish pizza, I would do anything to eat another one, I would go back to Chicago just to eat Pizza again. Thanks for the attention

We spent our last evening in the city here on a recommendation from a friend whoâs a Chicago native. Weâre British and I donât know if that is reflected in how we felt about the place, but it didnât live up to expectations in terms of being told itâs must-do. Firstly, the website told us there was no chance of a reservation until 9pm, but my daughter popped in on spec and she was told that there would be availability for when we wanted to eat at around 7pm. This turned out to be correct and we were told at the service desk to go upstairs to a large room where there were plenty of empty tables in a large, cold room with a number of TV screens around the walls. The ambiance was half urban factory chic, half sports bar, and incredibly noisy due to thumping music and patrons have to shout to each other to be heard over the beat of the repetitive chugging tracks being played. Firstly, the creeping trend of not offering customers hard copy menus and expecting customers to a) have a smartphone and b) be willing to use a QR code to access an online menu, really grates on us. We asked the server to bring us a hard copy menu, which, fair enough, he did after having tried to get us to use the QR code. The issues we had was really the cost of the meal and with the pizzas we ordered, which arrived on cardboard, just like the frozen pizzas we can buy from the supermarket back home. The combined cost of two starters , two pizzas, a pitcher of lager and a bottle of wine was comparable to what we would pay for a far fancier meal in our own city.

Chicago's most famous deep pizza. Disappointment at the first bite. Tastless pasta, cold pizza, excess cheese and unexpected peppers in peperroni pizza. It was one of the greatest gastronomic expectations of the trip and sincerely and with all respect a trash.

Apizza is different. Well-filled, with lots of cheese and sauce. It's worth trying. Try to go early, because there's always a line. And if you're not very hungry, ask the little one, because she's well served.

We were literally robbed while we were seated in Giordanos restaurant. Three guys approached my friend and I at the table and were flashing papers in our faces and speaking gibberish. The stole a cell phone from the table and went around the different tables before running out of the restaurant when we alerted the staff. The restaurant's management of this situation was terrible. We asked them to call the police, they wouldn't. They told us that a manager would come and talk to us. This took nearly 30 minutes while we sat there stunned. The thiefs got away with a phone/wallet with ID, credit cards, everything. We didn't pay our bill, but then again, we didn't have any way to pay now. Finally left and on the way out we were told, "have a great night!" Very poorly handled by Giordanos.

There's a lot of waiting, but deep dish pizzas are a must! A real treat.... Don't miss it in Chicago............ I recommend

Very good service, and the pizza was delicious... I recommend to accompany it with a salad... also the salad was very delicious

Been here twice now. I had Tommy as a waiter. He's awesome. I thought i wanted an Italian beef. I ended up getting the chicken Parm instead. He was honest and knowledgeable. I really appreciate that. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. Attentive and helpful. I will be coming back, everytime I'm in town. The place is nice, roomy, and clean. I recommend.

1:40 hrs and they haven't been able to bring a pizza. Not worth it. Look for another option and don't waste your time. Very small kitchen for a place with so many customers.

This is place is so busy as always. The food quality appears to have deteriorated over time. The pizza is not the same as before where you could see the strings of cheese when you first lift up the slice. Drinks are average. Service is quite slow.

This place is super full, impressive but we didn't have to wait that long because they are well organized. They pre-take your order and when you go to your table, the pizza doesn't take so long, it's huge. We had enough left over to eat twice as much because 1 slice fills you up. Very rich. The waiter was very good and super efficient

Had to wait 45 mins for a pizza so had a drink but then kept on waiting and waiting. Pizzas look amazing but after 45 mins had to move on as was starving

I fancied pizza and beer, and Giordano's didn't disappoint. Layla, our waitress was great , taking time to explain the menu. We opted for things crust, and it was delicious. Giordano's is a busy place, and I can see why .

Never had a real Chicago deep dish pizza till my wife and I ate one here. It was good and tasty but... I still prefer my local pizza joint back home in michigan!

Pizza & salad was excellent! Yes, it took 45 minutes, but we knew that before we arrived & it was so worth the wait! Server was attentive & weâd definitely go back again.đ

Perfect pizza, perfect service, very familiar place... real pizza, very tasty and filled, we were 2 days in a row

Glad to have been and tried there deep pan pizza but the 53 min wait wasn't actually worth it...staff aren't great and its all about the numbers getting through. Im sure there are better family owned pizza joints in town.

I consider Giordano`s to be the best place to eat Chicago's famous puffed pizza. In addition to pizza, they have different types of starters. It is worth it

Disappointing. Interesting place, famous and classic of the city. We went to dinner, there were 4, we ordered two pizzas. One of them had hair. Yes, plural, more than a hair on the pizza. We told the waiter, called the manager, apologized and offered a discount. We were discounted usd 7 and the chalk was worth usd 28. At the very least, we shouldn't have been charged for the chalk of our hair. We will not return to this place!!!!

Busy place ans took 45 min to get order. We probably should have ordered two pizzas and not just one.

Booked a table as itâs marathon weekend and knew it would be busy. Turned up 10 minutes early for my table, to see there was already a queue. By the time I got to the front of the queue, I was told I had to then wait another 45 minutes before Iâd be seated at my table - ridiculous, seeming as Iâd made a booking. Told the server to forget it. When Iâd got back to my hotel (20 min walk) and picked up dinner elsewhere, all in all - 25 mins tops, I got a text saying my table was ready! Didnât want to face the walk back. But terrible service. Wouldnât recommend

Very good place, friendly and fast service. We ordered a house salt, lasagna and a thin crust pizza. all very rich. The place is not noisy despite being big. I'll be back!!!

Beware of bait and switch prices, when adding pizza toppings. We added one item, menu prices at $1.95, that resulted in an increase in price of $8.00

Definitely recommend making a reservation. Large menu of items to choose from. We ordered the calamari appetizer as we waited for our pizza. My child had the children's size spaghetti. The pizza was amazing. We had the chicago classic, which had pepper, mushrooms, sausage, and cheese. I was so full after two slices. It's thick and cheesy. The crust is thick, too.

Lunch menu and the chicken sandwich was good. Our server was very attentive and always checked we had what we needed. It was very busy. The lunch deal was very cheap so good value for money

No doubt Giordanoâs used to be a Chicago classic, and was always one of my favorites when I lived in the city. Now living a couple hours from the city, we went to pick up a friend from Australia, who arrived in Chicago by train on Sunday afternoon. Naturally, Amtrak was late. Wanting to her to have a true Chicago experience we went to the Giordanoâs on Michigan Avenue, arriving about 630 pm. Not surprisingly there was a crowd. We put in our name, and we were told it would be an hour wait. After an hour and a half I went to ask what had happened. They claimed that they had sent me a message on my cell phone, but an inspection of my cell phone revealed no evidence of any attempted message. And, since at Giordanoâs once you get your name on the list , then you order your pizza. So our pizza shouldâve been ready. We were seated and waited another hour for our pizza to come. When it arrived, it was cold and congealed. Naturally, our Australian friend was definitely not impressed. in fact, we were all thoroughly impressed with what a poor operation this has become. I cannot recommend this restaurant to ANYONE- and we definitely wonât be back!

Had to stop here after the Bears game! walking distance from the Marriott Marquis Chicago. We ate at the one on Michigan Ave. pizza and service were great as always!

Feels a bit like a tourist trap. We did make a reservation, so we got to sit at a table for an hour with no food. Instead of sitting outside for an hour. I can't imagine any locals actually come here. After hour and 5 minutes, our pizza came out and wasn't hot, and the cheese wasn't melted at all, so we didn't get this stringy Instagram photo!

Service to the book! Salad came out quickly with drinks not to far behind. Deep dish took a minute as expected but the waitress also warned us. Quick refills and a table touch. The bottomless soda was the perfect cure the kiddos jet lag. We donât regret making this our first stop in chi-town. As for the pizza Iâd say itâs top ten, and thatâs extremely high praise from a long Islander. Not suprised barstool scored it an 8.4.

Not inexpensive $40. For a 10 inch pie. Cheese and sauce were ok. Not the same as NY pizza. đ we tried it but not a pizza đ Place was very busy lunch 1 hr for the pie. More the two could or would eat unless you were starved

The BEST deep dish pizza, in my opinion, in Chicago. Lots and lots of cheese, toppings, and delicious crust how can you go wrong? We decided on spinach ( fresh) and mushroom and it was so worth the wait. The staff is friendly, helpful, and really wants you to enjoy your visit. Salads or appetizers to start if you are hungry while waiting. Clean restaurant and handicap accessible restrooms.

This is a very cute restaurant with great ambiance, checkered table clothes, and very interesting decorations. It was busy but the manager provided us some personal attention which I really appreciated. The pizza we ordered was excellent.

I went out of curiosity to try their pizza. quite good but we are not used to eating this type of pizza which seems more like a savory pie than anything else. too busy for my tastes

I always try to hit Giordano's whenever I'm in Chicago. This was my first visit to this particular one. Since I was there solo, I sat at the bar. The bartender was an extremely nice gentleman and offered some advice on the menu. I ended up getting the lunch special at a great price. A+ service and A+ pizza as always.

Great pizza!! So much cheese, and the sauce was delicious. Everything about it was perfect- just what you want from Chicago deep dish! (We tried another place Lou ---) And this place was soo much better! More slices for the price. Great experience.

Our first deep dish Chicago experience, and it did not disappoint. Really enjoyed our pizza, the casual environment and our service was excellent. Would recommend!

What a great restaurant with a fun vibe, located on the Navy Pier! The pizza was delicious and we had plenty of leftovers! The arancini rice balls were my favorite!

if you are itching for Chicago Deep dish and live in another state, you can buy their frozen pizza's and they ship them right to your home, there are a few restaurants that do this. the Giordano's online pizza's are not good, taste like supermarket frozen pizza's. one out there is great, cant really share that info ("L M "), search a bit and you will find a good one. Of course the best option is to eat deep dish when visiting Chicago and in person, then Giordano's is really good. Online orders and delivery, sorry Giordano's, you should see what Lou does with his deliveries, ok...I said it.

This was our first time eating Chicago deep dish pizza and Iâm glad the concierge at our hotel sent us here because it was awesome. Tabitha, our server, was our saving grace in guiding us through the menu with excellent suggestions that turned out to be as good as she said. We both wished we could find pizza this good back home. This was even better than New York style pizza, which we always thought was the bestâŠuntil now!

This is not Pizza . The crust is maybe like quiche . The veggie part was okay I asked for no bell peppers and extra mushrooms. In return I got bell peppers no extra mushrooms. The service was good. The atmosphere was good. The music played in the background was decent and not too loud. Looking for pizza. This is not the place to go.

There are several units of this restaurant in Chicago. It was definitely the best Deep Dish Pizza I ever ate. I found the unit that is at 730 N Rush St. which by the way is the oldest, the most nice and the most traditional. The other units I went to were from 130 E Randolph St which was muuuuito crowded but was a great service after we arrived at the table. The pier unit can not even think and get a table, every time was more than 2 hours of waiting. But in general it is super worth knowing such a Chicago pizza, it is delicious and I went to other pizzerias that do not even get close in quality and taste. I recommend super

It's a city classic and has a famous pizza to try. It's a pretty big very wide it's very special and recommended

I am just a stupid hungry European who past this Pizza place and went in and ordered a take away. After having paid I received the info that the waiting time is 50 minutes!!! And then 15 more minutes!!! WHY donât the cashier tell the customers about the long waiting time?????

They charge a 3% fee for dining in. There is now a 3% chance that I will ever return. We had a terrible waitress, then got charged a for annoying them with our presence. When I asked about the fee, the waitress couldn't explain it and apologized, but said it's just something they put on some checks. A 20 year loyal customer is now 100% done with them.

Pizza in Guirdanoâs is a different one, but tasty and a must if youâre visiting Chicago. I had the Margherita. It was delicious and huge! The pizza is tall (2 inches / 5 cm), the crust is thin but crunchy and the cheese is delicious. Basil, tomatoes, all fresh. If youâre in town, try Giordanoâs pizzas.

First time having deep dish pizza, and the cheese deep dish was unbelievable!!! Not what we expected, not doughy and delicious. Worth the wait!!! It takes about 40 minutes to bake after your order is placed. Leftovers were just as good the next day!!

Awful! We waited 50 mins to only go in and order and have to wait another hour. They gave us a menu to order but maybe the girl didnât explain clearly we thought it was take out but it was to cut the time. Then when our table was ready we had to wait on a line in the hallway the. To get to our table and wait 10 mins for them to clean it. The food finally came and not worth the wait at all would never ever go there again or recommend

This is the best Pizza in the world! Giordano's is a place to visit every time you are in town. Amazing!!! Delicious!!! Famous!!!

Went to Chicago for the first time and this restaurant was suggested for great deep dish Chicago style pizza and I must say it was very delicious! The staff was super friendly and for being extremely busy we were sat right away and food came out quickly. A must!

I got the small size deep dish, which is definitely enough for 2 or 3 people. I powered thru the 3rd slice. It had more cheese than any pizza I've ever had. I do prefer a NY style slice, but it was worth the experience and the 40 minute wait for it to cook. A bit pricey, around $36 with 1 soft drink and tip.

Fantastic food. No parking but Completely polite double parking for ordering and delivery. Made to order and worth the wait!!

The food, service, and atmosphere were top-notch! We had the stuffed deep dish and a starter garden and Caesar salad which were delicious.

Had the individual pizza and salad . It tasted as if it was a frozen pizza and just placed in the oven to warm it up. Crust -cheese and sauce were horrible . To top it off next day business lunch carry out was ordered and it was the same even though over 20 pizzas were ordered . Would not recommend .

Really nothing extraordinary, these deep dishes, a sort of cheesecake and tomato sauce with sausage...don't call it pizza please...

We visited on a very busy rainy Sunday evening but had no trouble getting a table. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us whilst we were there. We were aware that it would take 45 mins to an hour for our deep dish order to arrive, and as weâd chosen to visit the restaurant specifically for the deep dish we were happy to wait. Our order arrived in the time expected and we werenât disappointed with our choice, albeit we should have got a smaller size! Well worth a visit if you want traditional Chicago deep dish.

The wait was long, but worth it I came in for the famous deep dish of course did not disappoint but I fell in love with the hot Italian will be back!!

You hear a lot about the Chicago deep dish experience, and I was skeptical, but it was totally worth the wait! Everything was delicious-super fresh and high quality. Definitely recommend.

I have had and loved Giordano's pizza, but what they served me at the 730 N Rush St. establishment was NOT what I know to be Giordano's pizza. My pie was overloaded with mozzarella, had WAY too little sauce, and there was virtually no sausage (veggies were fine). Also, I ordered for pick up and selected the parmesan and red pepper check-boxes online, but I had to ask for it at the counter when they handed me the box. I also had to ask for a bag, which is ridiculous because it was snowing outside. And, btw, I did tip 10% in advance, so they should have done a better job to get my order right. No tip next time.

Pizza like a cheese and tomato pie. I've never tasted anything like that. Made with only 3 ingredients, pasta, cheese and tomato sauce. An amazing combination and explosion of flavors. I'd come back several times.

AMAZING PIZZA, NEVER TRIED BEFORE, DOUG CRUSTY AND FULL OF MOZZARELLA, ONION, PEPPER, ETC. TWO SLIDES MAKE YOU TOTALLY FULL.

We were 3 people quite hungry and with a medium deepdish pizza we were satisfied and carried 3 servings, it is quite large and cost - benefit is a good option. Pizza if it takes 45 mins so I recommend ordering a salad or any entree.

Love just love this place. I made a reservation and thankfully I did because, this restaurant got busy and fast. The restaurant has a classic Chicago ambiance and service was friendly. I order a cheese deep dish pizza. The waitress said we would take 45 minutes to cook but it came in 20. When it came I got right down to business. The pizza was so cheesy that I had to use a knife and it was astonishing. WOW I loved this pizza. It was so good that I picked up 3 frozen pizzas to take home with me.

We ate the traditional pizza CHICAGO DEEP DISH, nothing too much.

Best PIZZA IN TOWN, service was amazing food was quick & tasty the starters were on another level one of the best pizzaâs iâv ever had !

Simply the best pizza I've ever eaten, which is also the opinion of the rest of the family who were there. Great service. The place is busy but it moves quickly and there is an option to place your order while waiting for a table. Worth every penny. I ordered the barbecue chicken pizza, it was wonderful.

Well, I was in town for business and drop by this place. It had a horrible when I say horrible experience they donât deserve a one star. I specifically told him no onions and they gave me an extra onions in my pizza deep dish. The sauce was horrible. The whole experience was horrible.

it was okay I guess, not the best pizza I've ever had. for a 4.5 rating I expected it to be actually good boy was I wrong. 4/10 won't go again.

The place is not very nice, it is quite outdated and not very clean. The service is not particularly friendly. You have to try the pizza, we ordered a small one and it was more than enough. They take a long time to serve

Amazing experience, had spaghetti with a deep pan pizza which was huge, talked out of buying the large and glad I did considering the size.

We went to this establishment located a stone's throw from Michigan Avenue to try the "Deep Dish Pizza", a Chicago specialty. The staff was particularly helpful and friendly, giving us advice and announcing the estimated waiting time for our pizza (+/- 40 min). The pizza in question was good but very consistent. We much prefer Neapolitan pizzas but are nevertheless happy to have tested this âinverted pizzaâ

Make sure you order ahead of time or right when you walk in of you are hungry. We over ordered but we were starving. We are normally Unos people but wanted to try something new. The bruschetta was amazing, salads perfect and the pizza was the main event. We wish the pizza was warmer but it was good.

All the hype zero delivery We made a special trip to compare NY/NJ PIZZA for a bday surprise. If giordanos represents Chicago please just give up. Lala who took about 15 minutes to bring us water then ask us to wait got back with a bit of an attitude and zero information besides her name repeatedly because we needed to know our servers name that didnât come back. My pizza was just warm cheese wasnât even melted and if it wasnât for the red peppers flakes would have no taste at all. The pepperoni she got was also not hot and pretty blah the middle was raw and top crust burnt and crumbly. When lala was in lala land and lost the check on the way to the table she didnât offer to get it she said she dropped it and I should pay by card or she would have to go get another. I did buy two frozen pizzas on the way out in hopes they will be better hot but I almost had to beg for someone to sell me them.

A few famous Italian restaurants in Chicago. It was lunchtime, so I had to wait a little. The interior is casual, with counter seating. It's not cheap because it's a popular tourist destination, but the pasta tasted good. Pasta is also available in family sizes, so you can share it with a few people.
PIZZA!
LUNCH SPECIAL!!! Available 11a-3pm Mon-Fri. $11.25 get's a you a main course, and a side salad or fries...BRILLIANT! I opted for the personal Chicago pizza with sausage...a perfect amount for lunch! Medium thickness, tasty sauce, buttery savory crust. Not the best in Chicago, but still good! The side Caesar salad was fresh and loaded with parmesan cheese. Club soda is free! If you're really hungry, maybe up for the fries instead for a side, or the Italian beef sandwich as a main. Bartender was friendly and fast.
