We went to Glass and Vine for happy hour and the experience was extremely disappointing. There was no draft beer available, and the pork ribs — one of their main menu items — were terrible: dry, flavorless, and simply inedible. I didn’t eat them, complained, and still got charged. The cocktails were poorly made, and the service was awful from beginning to end — inattentive and completely uninterested in resolving anything. Total letdown. I don’t recommend it and definitely won’t be coming back.

Unfortunately we found the service to be severely lacking when we went here. It took an extraordinary amount of time to get a table for two + one baby. The vegan options were non-existent. The pricing seemed very high for what you get, in terms of portion size. It’s a shame because we love the location (next to a great kids’ park), but we will not be returning.

Good meal with friendly service in outdoor setting. Despite a varied menu all of the meals amongst our large group were consistently tasty. The steak frites was far above expectations. Surprisingly the restroom was out of service and I was directed to a truck in the adjacent park. I walked over but the odor was overwhelming so I took pass and decided to wait until later. I am not sure how they can operate without restrooms for their customers, but hopefully this was one off, because the food was good.

A charming restaurant located at the edge of the historic Peacock Park in Miami. One of the starters (croquettes) and the gnocchi were well presented and delicious. The tostastas were nice but they were presented more like a bar snack than a starter in a restaurant. The Brick chicken was a very good concept, well cooked and with flavours that were spot on. The chicken was de-boned and should have been served with a home made BBQ sauce and a few vegetables on the side instead of ketchup in a small metal pot (like a bar snack). A good wine selection. This restaurant is well worth a visit overall.

So sorry but I was not impressed with the food, I had short rib pappardelle with truffle ragu *(the truffle was missing in action), my wife had the brick roasted half chicken and it was not properly cooked. We did enjoy the scenery very good family oriented, wine list definitely needs a little improvement. Bathrooms are not clean. Service was slow.

We just arrived in Miami for a few days staying within walking distance to Glass & Vine. We met our daughter for a late night bite (& drinks of course). Our server was odd. But tolerable. Tried to upsell our daughter on wine (kept saying, "sorry, out of that one"). Being a local she didn't fall for it. Had some appetizers and wine. Pricey but good. Sitting outside in the dark with the fans on was lovely, but you will need to use your phone to see the menu unless you can read by candle light. It was like sitting in your backyard with a glass of wine. Except for the odd servers (one tried to deliver wrong food to our table- rookie mistake).

Beautiful restaurant, impressive location and architecture, with good old time service. The menu it’s sandwich based but they use a very weird hot pink sauce, that killed the pleasure of having a gourmet sandwich. We asked for mustard but they were out of it, we ask for champagne but also out of it. The passion fruit cheese cake was an insult to anyone who likes cheese cakes or passion fruit. Please get a good manager and you’ll make anyone happy

Beautiful atmosphere and good service. Cocktails are delicious! Food was average at best. My husband had the gnocchi which was bland and served just warm. My mahi cassoulet was only warm as well and the beans were lukewarm. It was like they dumped a can of beans and microwaved them. The hummus and sourdough bread was delicious!

Wow, what a wonderful experience yesterday having a delicious lunch in a beautiful park in Coconut Grove with oak trees all around and greenery everywhere you sit. There are paved walkways to wander around on. They are pet friendly. There is no inside dining here. There are tables on several different levels that are a step above the last level. The flooring is like cobblestones but easy to walk on. The bar is conveniently located at the highest level with good views of Peacock Park. They serve brunch, lunch and dinner. We loved it! The setting is unlike any other restaurant in Miami. Very unique and inviting. Our server was Maura, who was one of the sweetest and nicest servers we have met in a long time. She had great recommendations and knew the menu thoroughly. She was attentive throughout and our water glasses were filled at the halfway mark promptly. She is a gem! There was a minimal wait for our orders. The service is great here. I ordered the Brick Roasted Half Chicken, which was on the small side but plenty for lunch. It was seasoned with rosemary and the skin was thin and crispy. Delicious, juicy and tender! It came with delicious roasted finger potatoes. An herbed yogurt sauce accompanied the meal. I was very happy with Maura's recommendation. My daughter ordered the Chicken & Black Truffled Gnocchi. She loved it. I tasted one potato Gnocchi and it was awesome! Maura highly recommended this dish also. Perfectly prepared with bacon and parmesan. For dessert, we shared the Mile High Chocolate Cake with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberries. It was out of this world delicious! One of the best lunches that we had in a long time! We will definitely return very soon. There is street parking but you need to drive around until someone leaves. A short walk away is a large parking lot for Peacock Park and is free.

Last month, my daughter and son-in-law held their wedding rehearsal dinner at Glass and Vine. The setting was pretty and the Miami weather perfect for the 20 of us to be seated outside as planned. Unfortunately, that’s where the compliments end. In spite of all the months spent by my daughter to plan the event with the assistance of Traci, Glass and Vine’s event planner, my daughter, my husband, and other guests had to put energy into addressing the restaurant’s grave failures at providing service, food and drink for the wedding rehearsal dinner. We should have known something was awry when we all arrived and there was no effort by serving staff to offer us drinks. The wine menu – quantity and type of bottles – had been decided upon by my daughter and her then fiancé in advance yet no bottles were on the table nor were any wine glasses set at place settings. The restaurant had assigned one server for our table of 20 which was totally inappropriate. After being seated, no one came around to ask for drink orders. An hour into dinner, some guests ended up going to the bar to purchase their own drinks which was totally inappropriate for the restaurant to think was acceptable. The only attention the restaurant staff seemed to give the party was in communicating changes to the menu, from the original agreed-upon menu, not once but four times over the course of 1 ½ hours. It became a joke…each time the menu would be reprinted and set at table settings….who does that in the restaurant business?!??!?! When the food was finally served, it was a huge disappointment. My choice, the pasta dish, was lukewarm and had no flavor. My husband and I ended up sharing his short-rib entrée, the only one of the four entrees worth commenting on. Advice to you if you’re considering Glass and Vine for a dinner party --- DON’T!

We locals love this restaurant, the food is good, it's outside, it's a very pleasant vibe and atmosphere and the night we went there was a local Latin Jazz group and they were great. It's a staple in our local restaurant outings.

To say I am appalled is an understatement. We worked with Glass and Vine to coordinate our rehearsal dinner. We started communications with Tract months in advance of the event. We were to have about 20 guests and had decided on a set menu and a few bottles of red and white to be ready and chilled on the table. She assured me everything would be set. We had a signed contract detailing the quantity and type of bottles and the set menu to be available. Upon arrival, no bottles were on the table. We didn’t even have wine glasses. They had assigned a single server to our table of 20. I have worked as a server before. I do not care how superhuman you are. One server for 20 people is a horrible management decision. After being seated, no one asked for our drink orders. My father had to go to the bar to order a drink about an hour into the dinner because no one had asked us for drink orders. We weren’t even approached by our server for about 20 minutes. The menus we were given were incorrect, listing items we had not chosen to be served that night and omitting the ones we had. Throughout the night we went through 4 iterations of the printed menu before the correct one was printed and distributed. We were served warm white wine and the wine glasses were dirty, covered in fingerprints and lip stick marks. I had to spend my rehearsal dinner explaining to the staff what was wrong and how to fix it and apologizing to my guests for the experience. This is a moment in my life I will never get back. This company stole that night from me. They made sure the evening’s conversations were not about everyone getting to know each other but instead about all the things that were going wrong with the service, food, and management. The manager was able to take a few things off our bill but nothing close to what I would consider appropriate based on what they took from us. I contacted Tracy afterwards. She seemed apologetic, like she was going to be our advocate and try to find a way to provide some form of additional compensation. We were fooled. This company owns many restaurants. This is not a small operation running on a shoe-string budget. Despite their inability to honor the terms of the contract we had signed; they were unwilling to provide anything more than an apology. I am absolutely disgusted by this company, and I implore you to never dine here or hold an event here or at any of their other establishments. The incompetence and failure to communicate basic instructions is unbelievable. It is not worth the headache. There are too many other options in Miami to waste your time here.

We came to glass and vine this weekend after some "time off". What a pleasant surprise, our server Dillon was really nice and the bartenders were really helpful and charming. We love love love the new menu. Chef Andrew stopped by to check on us and talked to us about the new menu. What a nice experience we had. We look forward to coming back and trying the new brunch menu. All our best, Roberta and William Tell

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. I take friends and family here and have come by myself at times to work through lunch. Love the atmosphere- lots of shade and umbrellas for this primarily outdoor place. Sits within a beautiful park near Biscayne Bay. Sandwiches, salads, appetizers- everything is so good. I enjoy the wine list, too. Staff is always very professional and accommodating. It’s very popular for weekend lunches - can be hard to get a table without a reservation. I like to visit during the week, and on the weekend order wine and food to-go from the bar and sit at their park tables nearby. Again, they are accommodating and welcoming!

We had a relaxing lunch outdoor. The staff was welcoming for us and our canine friend. The service was excellent and the food very tasty though some dishes were a bit too creamy for . The burrata an tomato salad was memorable. The crispy yuca perfect. The gnocchi with chicken also hit the spot. I would avoid the lemon garlic pappardelle. A great experience !

Decided to try this place for brunch. The hostess was friendly and sat us promptly. Our waiter was excellent, he was friendly with great knowledge of the menu. The service was on point, and sitting outside had a very relax setting. The food was very good and would recommend coming and enjoying brunch here. Enjoy

Bad. The service couldn't be worse. We ordered and ordered and brought things in pieces. We were 5 people, one of them never had food brought to him no matter how much we claimed it. The place is nice, but not even dead return to this place

I stopped by this place one evening after dinner for a glass of wine, and I found it to be really charming. They have a good selection of wines by the glass, and an interesting menu that I aim to try the next time I am in Coconut Grove. It seemed like a good place for soft conversation or for an early-in-the-week date.

The location in the park is wonderful on a warm evening, and couples, families with children and pet owners alike enjoy the setting. The menu has many imaginative dishes, of which only one (Bison Tataki) failed to impress. We would go here again!

The wait staff is sub par and not attentive. Server will come to you're table to tell you what drinks and beer they do not have but was supposed to get. That makes no sense and I don't care tell me what you have and not supposed to have. The food mediocre and the menu sucks and management is no where to be found. If you have a problem with the bugs flying around you're food they don't care.

We went we some vegan friends and were able to find several small plates they could enjoy. The food is good and the setting is very nice. Great place to go with kids because is in a park with a playground.

Stopped by for a bite and a glass of wine on a recent trip, can’t wait to bring my family back! Excellent quality, fresh foods and a fantastic drink menu. Lots of room for kids and dogs, gorgeous setting near the water.

Sitting at the bar right now ... the dedication the staff have is phenominal for a very wet end to a day .... but let me tell you where in Florida can you drink half price wines and listen to amazing jazz like I am doing right now .... also you all need to come to this place ... Isabella is an amazing host / server .... a great asset to this business ....

Fantastic menu and a diverse wine list in a casual, outdoor setting! Joseph, our server made the difference-- customer friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and very engaging--a pleasure to share conversations with. We will be back!

Stopped in for lunch with family. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all for a few reasons: Waitress wasn’t very personable and spilled our entire drink order on the table (this happens and it’s ok) Wife ordered a second glass of wine that was noticeably less filled than the first. Reasonable to expect consistency. Mediterranean chicken salad had 4 small strips of chicken Mahi sandwich was bland Nice decor though

Love this place--the Magic Schoolbus cocktail is so good I had to go back and get it a second day. Yummy food and a cool setting...made us want to go home and open a bar in a park...but that might only be possible in Miami :)

Had lunch here today and really enjoyed it. Chose to sit outside, although hot, the fans and umbrellas do help. Good service. Delicious bread with butter and oil and olives for appetizer. I had the jerk chicken sandwich with fries which were delicious. My two companions had salads which they enjoyed. For dessert try the meringue dessert with the fruits and sorbet- very refreshing. Very nice atmosphere here- I will return.

Why write a review on a place I consider disgraceful? Well, hopefully, to save you some time and money. I took some clients to dine, on their recommendation, as they had heard rave reviews of this place. The end result was one of the worst experiences in my life (fortunately the clients were polite enough not to complain and absorb the punches one by one and still keep a smile in their faces). The restaurant is tucked in the corner of a public park. Most of the seating is outside, in cheap plastic tables with no tablecloths. Ours was in the back gallery, next to the park's children games as well as to a big family birthday celebration (yelling adults and roaming children), so the whole experience was like dining out in Chuck e Cheese. And the table was also next to a door leading to the main salon, which we had to ask be locked, as we were on the way of waiters and customers entering and exiting. We would have moved to the empty table next to ours, but it was covered in dirty dishes when we arrived, and they were there when we left. There was only one waiter serving the whole section -us and the big birthday party, so the poor guy was completely overwhelmed and we had to wait patiently for him to show up and take our order for appetizers, and then wait and wait again to find him so we could order the mains. Total management fault, not the waiter's, who was also fighting a disorganized and slow kitchen. After almost an hour, the food started coming to the table, at least some of it -he had warned us that they make everything from scratch so all plates would come at different times, which is stupid, since many great and not so great restaurants also make everything from scratch and still manage to bring out all the food together so people can actually share a dinner together. The wine came warm (Really? In a place called "Glass and Vine"?) so we had to ask for an ice bucket to bring it down to drinking temperature and then wait patiently until it was ready to drink. Only after I discretely stepped aside to complain and ask for service, did things start to move a bit faster and the manager showed up with a second waiter, to make things finally happen. Still, several of the plates arrived late or did not arrive at all (they were later brought as "on the house" to compensate for the bad service... only they were served long after we had finished eating and were ready to order desert, so our table was set again and we started all over. As a nice detail, we were never told we would be getting complimentary food, so when it arrived, I mentioned we hadn't order it. The manager's answer was "It's on the house, if you don't want it, I'll take it back". Classy. So okay, anyone can have a horrible night, right? So what about the food? Well, I guess Crass and Vain would be a befitting name for it. The menu is divided in Garden, Sea and Land, and food quality mostly depends on your luck choosing the right dish. The baked crab was literally inedible, some sort of dry, burnt crab paste served in a small iron skillet, accompanied by carbonized pieces of toast. The fish "a la plancha" was pretty good, and the scallops were the only plate that deserved applause. All the rest, the tostada, the octopus, and the mussels were an unbalanced collection of ingredients put together with not much harmony at all. Servings are generally small, and worse, uneven. Big chunk of fish and minute tostada, not enough for a main course at all. Instead, the desserts are huge, disproportionate, served in white salad bowls. There were three of them that day, and they were, again, an arbitrary mix of ingredients (think half grapes in the bottom of a mousse), or plain silly recipes like one including one with bread crumbs, olive oil and sea salt, which might have certainly tasted better with the crab than with the ice cream. To add insult to injury, the bathrooms were filthy. I have seen cleaner toilets in football stadiums or train stations. It just made me pray no kitchen personnel had used it while cooking our food. I will never, ever go back to this place. Miami has so many great places to offer, why waste your time and money here?

Overall this was not a great experience which was a shame because the setting looked very promising. Generally, the food was very tasty and the wine was excellent but the service was poor and the toilets were disgusting. Apparently the toilets have to be shared with the public which includes homeless folk who live in the park. When I entered the gents, a homeless women came out and just as I was leaving a homeless man came in. Both sinks were blocked with I dont know what and the toilets were in a very poor state. This was a very off putting experience and if possible I would recommend they were avoided. On a positive note, the draft beer comes in a large glass and the olives, particularly the red ones were some of the best I have tasted.

Great outdoor breakfast place steps from the heart of coconut grove. A bit pricey but food was very good. A park next door is perfect if kids are with you and you have to wait

I have been to this restaurant several times. And when it first opened the food was pricy but very good. Now I will only go back for happy hour. The setting is very nice , nestled on side the Peacock Park. I ordered a wine, came back warm. I ordered avocado toast, which was good, but $10? Really? The kitchen got the order mixed up with my husbands. I ordered a chopped salad, and it wasn't really chopped and seemed like they ran out to the Publix grocery to fill the order. Very over p[riced for what it was. My husband who is not a picky eater and will eat anything, was very disappointed . Overall, go for a drink and enjoy the outside. That's it.

All outdoors, with big umbrellas, and the single most interesting meal we had in a week in Coconut Grove. We started with an amazing Roasted Beet Dip ($20) with added crudite (at no extra charge) to make it Gluten-free for me; the Watermelon Salad ($16) was fantastic, the Esquites Mexican Corn ($15) was the best we've ever had, and the Tostones ($8) were great for scooping up the beet dip. Vinho Verde ($9) made the lunch as enjoyable as our lunches at Greenstreet, but so exotic and reasonably-priced.

Great location, great food, great service. Quintessential Grove spot with a delicious variety of options tapas style. Good wine menu. Outside is a great option - the patio is covered by trees and makes it just beautiful! This is a must!

After passing several times at night we decided to give this place a try. The location is wonderful with twinkling lights on the trees and large fans to keep you cool. Since it was a Friday night there was also live music. Made a reservation through Open Table and we arrived just on time. The hostess checked us in and we did not wait more than a few minutes until we were seated. Our server was friendly and on point. We started with the croquettes - they were amazing and the chipotle aioli was fantastic. We enjoyed the ricotta gnocchi with black truffle cream, the grilled mahi - the chorizo, onion and pepper has was spectacular - and Steak Frites. The churrasco steak was tender and perfectly cooked and the fries crispy and yummy. All while enjoying a perfect night outdoors with soothing jazz music. Wonderful! We'll definitely be back.

Perfect dinner in a park, fantastic original South American food, attentive and friendly service, not over-priced. Def recommend this place for a casual or romantic night out.

We had a so-so meal the other night. The venue is beautiful. We sat outdoors. The trees were all lite up and it looked spectacular. Service was slow. Our garlic bread came out 40 minutes late, with an apology... The meal came out 45 minutes after that. The meal was good. My mahi mahi with chorizo sausage was delicious. My wife had Lemon pepper pasta, and she loved it. The restaurant was not that crowded on Memorial Day night. I will give GAV another chance when I am back in November. Enjoy.

Nice place in the neighborhood: nice outdoor where to eat near a playground for children. Basic menu with salads and some dishes. Possibility to have lunch menu for 30 Dollars (including an entree, main course and dessert) We started with delicious croquettes and sautéed broccoli. The steak with potatoes was very good as were the salads (the one with chicken promoted!) Tasty lime pie. Super friendly staff Average prices . Good choice in the area

Great place for an easy bite. Tim our server was amazing. The god was delicious and wine and cocktail selection was great. Will be back!

Happy hour? Disappointing! They claim they will give you 1/2 off all wines by the glass. In really they will give you 1/2 of the glass. LOL. Cheaters! Look at my full glass!

What a travesty that the ambiance of this beautiful outdoor setting was totally ruined by their DJ playing music WAY TOO LOUD. Could not carry on a quiet conversation. Good grief, what are they thinking ? Will never go back as long as they have a DJ. We were sitting in a booth on the side and it was still WAY TOO LOUD. I pity the people sitting closer.

Outdoor seating on the park. Friendly staff, great bar service, very popular with locals that have something to celebrate.

Great meal in the grove, loved the watermelon salad and the 1/2 chicken. Will be back soon for brunch.

The food was so delicious! We went for brunch. My daughter got the French Toast and it was utter perfection. I got the G&V Benedict. So food, especially the crunchy potatoes in the side. My husband got the American Breakfast Sandwich. Just right. The setting was lovely, in trees with big fans blowing. So many precious dogs all around too.

Very good food and service. Loved the watermelon salad with crab. Friends had fish and liked it. Reasonable priced. Very noisy but fun.

I know "pleasantly surprised" might not come across as as glowing recommendation for a restaurant. But being let down by so many restaurants in Miami, my expectations going in were tempered. HOWEVER! The meal was fantastic. We had a mix of all the categories on the menu, crab cakes, pickled vegetables, pork belly, and the crispy yucca. And the prices were reasonable. Our waiter took the time to describe how the menu works and what might work best for us. And most importantly, they let us enjoy the meal. We ordered small plates, took some time, then decided on the larger plates. Our waiter was always around when we needed something, and didn't rush us at all. We came here for our anniversary and were greeted with champagne first thing. I recommend the pork belly, but we're eager to get back and try the other items on the menu. We'll be going back for sure.

The ambiance is beautiful! Definitely different. The service was good. I've had better. Let's say the effort is there. The food is overwhelming. Not one dish is simple. The picture below is of a $14 dish ($7 happy hour). It's watermelon with cheese, corn and jalapeño. All there dishes are over the top but makes no sense. The drinks are good (that's kinda hard to mess up). There was an attack of huge flies when fish/meat items came out. Perhaps because it's too close to the water. With that being said, the flies were so bad that 4 out of 6 of us boxed up the food to go. If they change the menu (adding less complicated items), I'll go back. If not, no loss for me at all. I think it's overpriced for what they serve. Hate writing reviews like this, but it's the truth.

We arrived at the Glass and Vine on a breezy Sunday afternoon, after attending the World Cup Regatta event a few blocks away. I had previously visited Peacock Park with the kids, and wanted to try the new restaurant as well. So I valeted the car out front and took a chance on it. Upon arrival the hostess asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, and she said it would be about 45 minutes to 1 hour to be seated. My wife asked if there were any open tables in the bar area, and there weren't. But the hostess suggested an alternative -- that we order from the bar "to go", and grab a table in the park. She said it works out well for a lot of families, and it was certainly a hit with ours. There are a handful of tables in the park adjacent to the restaurant's outdoor dining area, which allows you to share the restaurant's “vibe”, while offering unobstructed views of the grassy hill and soccer field, Regatta Park, and Biscayne Bay. We instead chose a table among a handful of others in a wooded area of the park, about 100 meters from the actual restaurant. The kids played on the playground equipment while we planned our impromptu "picnic". While the rest of the family enjoyed the park, I took a seat at the bar and placed the order for the five of us. The place was slammed, but still the servers took the time to explain the childrens' options (which aren't on the menu but do exist), and made me feel welcome while I waited. They brought the kids' food out first quite quickly (thankfully), which I took back to our table in the park. I returned to my seat at the bar and waited on the rest of the order, for about 10 minutes or so. While there, I couldn't help but notice the contrast between this place in the Grove and others like it in Miami Beach, where I've lived for 15 years. Not only were the servers friendlier and more polite, so were my fellow patrons in the bar and the restaurant. There’s clearly something to be said about the Grove’s Bohemian character and overall atmosphere, and this place was no exception. Overall, the food and service were both excellent, and it was much more affordable than I had expected. I’d like to go back for dinner sometime, minus the kids, and enjoy more of the atmosphere of the establishment itself.

We had a family and friends lunch, made reservations, but it was really unorganized. Place is pretty, it was fun sitting outside. We all had fun talking to each other and drinking lots of wine. It was a good thing because the service was really bad, waiter was sorry, but they were understaffed!!!

We had a nice brunch here on Sunday. Weather was fantastic. We sat by the park which was perfect for the kids and us. The service was super slow (last time it was the best service). Not sure if its bc by the park its more hectic, but the service wasn't good this time. The food is great and the place is very nice. We'll be back.

The best thing going for the restaurant is the park behind it where kids can play while you can chat with friends. The food was mediocre and depending on the day they tell you that they ran out of things from the menu. This time they ran out of an appetizer and all beers. Never happened to me in any restaurant. They need to refresh the menu and put some effort into it.

I hosted a business dinner here and knowing my guest would be late I ordered a drink (good happy hour choice) the Gin Blossom which was good and 3 appetizers. The cold meat slices were fatty but flavorful, the marinated olives great and the charred cauliflower with cheese sauce fantastic.Once my guest arrived we dined on the grilled scallops and tried an order of the fried corn which was hard to eat. The scallops were tender but had residual cooking fat about them which made them unhealthy. We downed a bottle of Sancerre and found the wines by the glass to be of generally poor quality. Parking is an issue and the valet is very expensive, street parking scarce and nearby garages outrageous. Lunch might be better.

My wife, son and I went to brunch here at Glass & Vine this past Sunday. The ambiance was great. The weather was fantastic. The food was so good. The service (especially Eduardo) was excellent. We will be back over and over.

Where to begin. I wish I could convey to you how awful this place is. Oh, the food is ok. But the service is just awful – and this was not the first time. The last time we were here we waited and waited and waited. For everything. The food. The check. No, they were not busy. But it was a nice day and we needed a stopping place for a drink, so we thought – how bad could that be? Again, wasn’t crowded. Took ages to get someone’s attention. Then one guy came by with menus and left. Then we waited. And waited. Finally got up and just started to leave. And this waiter says to my girlfriend “maybe you should pace yourselves”. We were not drunk. We were four 40-somethings dressed well and just wanted a drink. My girlfriend wanted to go back and smack this fat old pos waiter in the face. I was inclined to let her, but I really wanted to enjoy the day and not spend it giving witness accounts to the cops. Anyway, this place sucks.

I went there with my kid to meet his classmate & his mom at the park. I got myself a glass of wine and some burger and pasta for me and my son. Very cozy place, good food, great service; our server, Andy was so nice, especially to my son! Thank you for going above and beyond Great place and value overall

We took our kids there and sat outside and they played in the park. Cheeseburger was delicious. One of the best I have had. Salad was okay.

This was a food highlight. The corn was mouth watering. Every dish was inventive and tasty. The location at the edge of the park was unique and the service was friendly and laid back. The best food experience of the two week holiday

The food and drinks were wonderful after a great day of travel but the best thing was Mateo. He was great. We had the lunch specials and drinks that were out of this work. Try the watermelon salad and the croquettes. Great.

Extraordinary service, delicious food and amazing environment. Special thanks to Kevin for the best service.

Being a group of 10 people, we wanted to mostly enjoy a nice meal and have some fun. Besides the fact the poor was poorly cooked and overpriced, the feeling they are taking advantage of you with mandatory group tips of 25% is awfull. The manager refused to talk with us. We came out extremely dissapointed. This is the kind of behaviour that needs to be stopped in Miami

It is a nice place as the restaurant has a large part of the room in a garden that overlooks a park. In addition, the atmosphere is very familiar and there is live music, which is a good plan for a relaxed dinner. Food without being anything otherworldly fulfills its function and although some combinations do not stick too much it has a good value for money. The worst, the service. Slow, careless, disorganized... The only one who seemed interested in making everything work was the one who seemed to own or be responsible for the place. The rest, just (and blatantly) interested only in the tip.

It's great to go with kids and eat rich. There is a parking lot directly opposite the restaurant. Highly recommended

Nice outdoor area with shade. The food is really good but the service is a little slow if the service was a notch better I will give 5 stars. Try the croquetas they are amazing, the gnocchi with chicken and black truffle is really good too. The best part the outdoor area is pet friendly! So we went to celebrate my dog birthday , the waitress bring them water and offer them chicken. I will go back for sure!

Yes, I understand it’s “Covid..” There was plenty of wait staff, yet we had to wait 30 minutes after a late seating for water and cocktail delivery was almost as long. It remained difficult to catch our waiters attention - he served only three tables. He did not check back to see if our drinks were ok or if they needed freshening. There was a river of condensation from the table water container. After three queries for either a napkin or other coaster, I got up and secured my own beverage napkins from the bar. When three people ordered the watermelon salad, we weren’t asked which version of watermelon salad and were delivered the wrong salad. The disappearing server prevented us from making a correction. Two of the three of us ate the salad. One third into the salad, entrees were delivered (not by our server). The entrees were declined. (We still did not have another drink.) The untouched salad was cleared without apology and not removed from the check. Long after the salad was complete, we had to ask for entrees. Three were delivered to the table. We reported missing silverware from the cleared salads, one set arrived. By the time the additional settings arrived, it was obvious a fourth dinner was not on its way. It took many attempts to secure our server to report the missing dinner. Instead of fixing the problem, the waiter sent the manager. Once she heard my entree was completely missing she went into high gear. The rest of the table exercised good manners and declined to eat while my dinner was prepared. It took several attempts to secure covers for the cooling entrees; and only the manager could figure out what to supply. The freshly cooked dinner wasn’t particularly hot. The waiter disappeared until it was time to collect money table side. To add insult, the POS tip amounts were 18%, 20%, & 25%. If diner waiters provide service far superior to this and receive “generous” tips of less than $5, how can it be that THIS inattentive server is “entitled” to $60 - $75??? The food itself was good but not memorable. I’m embarrassed that my guests food was cold.

An outstanding place to enjoy an adult beverage in the shade or in the breeze of a fan. Great appetizers and cold drinks. Staff are Uber friendly!

Food isn't bad itself but service it's awful!!! We had to wait more than an hour since we ordered to get our food, meanwhile they moved us from the bar to a table and served the food at the bar leaving it there. When it arrived was cold. They didn't bring any water any napkins and nothing before asking several times.

Bad food, somewhat nice venue. Menu was HORRIBLE. The "best" menu item was garbage. $400 bill for 5 unhappy people. Nothing good to eat there. Never going back. Period.

Lovely lunch at Glass & Vine yesterday. You can't beat the setting, it's tucked into a lush garden that borders a park (there's plenty of outdoor seating and fans keep you cool, and also there's indoor seating). Love the three course lunch menu (Miami Spice); try the tater tots, delish. So settings gorgeous, food's delicious. Unfortunately, and I've experienced this at other restaurants in Miami this week, service started out strong and then finished poorly. Our server literally disappeared once the food arrived, no refills for drinks, no one picked up plates (we had to duck out before the dessert we paid for could get there because it took so long). We had to wave down other servers to get his attention. It wasn't that he was too busy; plenty of time we'd see him standing by the bar, his back to us, talking with co-workers. Ridiculous.

Went for a Saturday Brunch. Food was pretty good, but nothing special and the menu was fairly limited - and on top of that, at least two menu items were unavailable when we ordered them (at noon on Saturday??). The setting was nice, but the live music was way too loud. Service is what pushed this rating much lower -- though everyone working there was nice, the service was really terrible. We had a reservation, as did several others arriving at the same time, but that seemed not to guarantee a table. Some people were told they would have to wait at least 45 minutes from their reservation time. We were seated after about 15 minutes, but then it took the waiter a long time to bring us menus. Our food took WAY WAY too long to arrive, and we had to ask several times whether it was coming. When food finally came, there was a solid 15 minutes between the arrival of our first order to the last person's order -- so 4 of us were almost finished by the time the last person's food arrived. Overall, a pretty disappointing brunch.

We celebrated my wife's birthday here. It is the second time we've tried it and both times have been great. The restaurant is located in a park with most of the tables under big trees and umbrellas. The lighting creates a magical ambiance. Service was timely. The cocktails were great and reasonably priced. We had a combination of small plates, large plates and sides. All delicious. The yucca is worth ordering. Really! It's not cheap, but not ridiculous either. Perfect for a special night. One ding, they would benefit from keeping an eye on the cleanliness of the restrooms.

The food was pretty average compared with some of the other stellar meals we have had in Miami. The service was fine although the waitress put in the wrong order for our appetizer. Drinks and apps during happy hour are very reasonable but I would recommend Mayfair Kitchen over this restaurant unless eating outside is important to you. The setting is hard to top.

Went there for a midweek happy hour. Food was actually quite good. Unfortunately there was no draught beer, so was charged $9 for a bottle. Restaurants need to wake up and realize why they're empty.....

I've been in the restaurant a few times, my friend takes her daughter to the playground that is nice. But the service is the worst. They need to take a customer service training. They treat you like they are doing you a favor. They are very rude. I am in the hospitality industry and it's embarrassing to go to a place and to be treated like that.

Our second visit in this restaurant. Good food, drinks and friendly staff. I recommend the crab cakes for appetizer. Thanks to Lorraine who waited on us. Highly recommended when you are in the area.

Mostly an outdoor dining experience in a park like setting. Just off the water of Biscayne Bay. The food will knock your socks off! I had the roast chicken which had been marinated for days and have never eaten such great poultry. Big portion so I had some to take home! I never order chicken at a fine dining spot but the manager said it was exceptional, and he was right. The drinks are nice size and the pricing is reasonable. It is a great romantic destination! Definitely a keeper!

The ambiance is very romantic and cozy. We had croquettes, tuna tartare, ceviche, and garlic bread. Our favorite was the tuna tartare and the croquettes they were delicious. The ceviche was ordinary at best. Our meals were Cowboy ribeye and red snapper. Cowboy steak had great taste and tender cook to perfection The fish was tiny. The worst part we were served separately for 2 entree and 10 minutes later the other two arrived. The highlight of the night was the guava bread pudding. Overall food was good but not great perhaps order something else as an entree

We were there for Sunday brunch. The waiter Camilo was very, very nice. Though I wish he'd say the eggs would be only lightly blanched. The yellow ran all over the plate and right under the potatoes. :(.

We enjoyed sitting outside for a group dinner of 10, sharing lots of small plates as well as ordering individual entrees. Vegetarian options, great appetizers, good wine selection. It's beautiful in golden hour with a cool breeze and lots of greenery around, it's situated at the entrance to a park. There were kids playing intramural soccer off in the distance, but the noise didn't really travel or make it any less enjoyable. I'd go again!

We went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. No reservation but got a table for 12 right away. The hostess was super friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was great too. However, I’d have to say that the brunch sandwich wasn’t anything special at all... overall the food was pretty normal. One exception the French Toast was very good. The restaurant has a super big yard and playground for children in the back. So for a family or a group with a bunch of kids, it is ideal.

Great view of the park and the restaurant was clean and not crowded. The service was fantastic and the owner checked in on us. I wish I would have found this place sooner and I would have eaten here often.

I have gone a Couple of times since the location is convenient and it has a view to the park. I recently went for brunch and I was very disappointed. The food is very complex heavy and not good. The service is always good. I would love to see more of a simpler menu that has healthier options as well .

I went here for brunch on my birthday and all I was extremely impressed with our waiter Tim. He had extensive knowledge of the food and what wine to pair with the food. The food was amazing and I will definitely be coming again.

If you like watermelon salads this is the place! Lovely setting in the park, perfect for any occasion. They offer valet outside.

Good food and lunch serivce outside even on a sunny and hot day. I had the calamari, steak frites. We shared a couple of the excellent desserts.

This was the perfect setting for our last night in Florida. Sitting outside with a great meal and superb weather. A waiter who took care of us without hovering. FANTASTIC

They were out of IPA’s, no good tequila, no croquettes, the waiter bungled our order- twice. And the food we did get, was not worth the price. Very disappointed overall.

Went for a business dinner. The food was delicious and attractively presented. The wine list is excellent and they have a large number of wines by the glass. We dined outside and it was nice, although perhaps it could have been just a little cleaner. And they flys started to bother us mid-way through dinner. The server was knowledgeable and very gracious and efficient.

Towards a while we did not visit this restaurant. Very good attention. Only the buser an older person, bald, did not have a good attitude. The Mac and Cheese very rich, the same the caesar salad. Croissant Sanduche was burned and I had to return it, very rich the cafe Latte, I did not like that they would include 20% of a very disproportionate tip. I don't think let's return.

My wife and I had a little date night and went to Glass and Vine. It was so relaxing sitting outside at such a beautiful place. We had a fantastic bottle of wine. We split a tasty G&V chopped salad. We shared a sensational shrimp cocktail. Then we shared a bone-in ribeye steak with some awesome carbonara fries. The entire meal was superb. We really had a fantastic time. The manager on duty made us feel important - welcoming us very warmly. Our server was fantastic. We had a blast! We cannot wait to go back the next time we're in town.

Good service, fantastic atmosphere, garden area, outside seating. Menu does not provide variety. Disappointing

Romantic dinner on a Sunday night: the restaurant is outside on the prestigious McFarlane Road address in Coconut Grove... We had a table with the menu at 45 dollars + an excellent prosecco at 40 in a quiet setting. Finish the meal on the wooden Boardwalk along the marina: watch out for shoes it can be very wet via the park but it’s worth it!

I live in Coconut Grove and visit Glass and Vine here and there for lunch. I personally like their lunch better than dinner. The last time I visited was during Miami spice and I was really happy with my three course meal for 23 bucks. It’s a beautiful place with a great view. The service is great and so is the food. Although I do agree with certain people’s comments that the menu is limited. However, you have to be into speciality menus with high quality food options.

Having a lovely libation while my baby enjoys himself at play...why didn't I think of that?! We headed on ova to Coconut Grove to meet friends for a playdate and they suggested we meet at Glass and Vine. What a great space. As we walked up the front, I admired the openness of the space and the blend of woodsy crossed with modern. Daddy and Rock Star headed to play while I worked on scoring a table. Good information to know is that the restaurant closes in between lunch and dinner. Now, a small while substantial drink/tapas-ish menu is available during that wee wait time, but just be aware. This is a spot where folks (understandably) camp out for hoursssssssss, so either play it smart and make reservations or get your game on. I was pleasantly greeted by two sweet hostesses who really were very accommodating and after doing some shifting and figuring out allowed me to score a sweet spot on the park edge. Our server patiently checked in and took orders as we went back and forth between the table and the park. Much needed wine and drinks and little plastic water cups for the kiddies. As so many have mentioned, the Watermelon Salad is a must. We ordered a few those. Kids had bread and butter and pasta. Super pleasant spot!

A colleague and I drank here each night whilst on business in Miami and treated it as our local and a good place to have a beer and / or G&T at the end of a busy working day or pre going back out for dinner etc.. great location over looking a park and sports field.. friendly staff, good range of drinks and good atmosphere.. a little pricey but that’s Miami for you.. great bar on the whole.

The best service and great food. Maura was our server and she is GREAT… ask for her. She recommended the beet dip—get it. It was the best. We loved it!!!

Amazing location in Coconut Grove. If you are seated outside, you will enjoy the wonderful ambiance overlooking the park. We had brunch on Sunday and the service was spot on and very attentive. The food is where I had to draw the line. The Huevos Roto (Broken Eggs) was barely edible. The only redeeming item was the sweet potato tater tots. Also, a little heads up, they charge you per glass of lemonade which was not mentioned by the server.

We went on a Friday night and we were very disappointed about the food and is overpriced. I ate the small plate Fish el Tiradito, my Husband ordered the Snapper and my kids ordered the Steak Frite which is the only meal we thought that was ok. They have limited choices of meal and drinks as well and the amount of food they serve very small. The setting is beautiful and I think that’s what ur paying for it only. I even got sick from the food that night. I don’t think we’re coming back here anymore.

We went for Xmas Eve dinner. Only place open around with a reasonable price for the holidays. The ambient is super casual (shorts and flip flops). The food is...ok. Nothing fancy and portions are super small (remember that no special holiday menu, standard menu so I will say overpriced if not a holiday). Bill came out at the end and we had a wine charge that we didn't order, waitress rapidly acknowledged it and fixed it. Total bill $100.44 for two entree plates, one side salad, one soda and one beer. Last night I checked my card statement and they charged me $200.44...so basically $100 tip was charged instead of the marked $16.00. Restaurant contacted me promptly after 24hrs of my phone call and promise to fix the issue. All good then.

So beautiful to sit in tables arranged between the trees. Service was wonderful, thoughtful, atmosphere casual and outside. The food was delicious, though we only had little nibbles. We will be back to try dinner. This was just the 2nd week they were open during this pandemic. It was wonderful to be back.

The food es nothing special, but the service is the worst!!! Very bad and very slow service.... would never go there again....the cocktails were also nothing special and the margarita was poorly done.

Especially in the cooler months, there is no more lovely place for dinner. You are literally eating inside of a gorgeous tropical park. The food is fine -- any place that has bread from Zac the Baker is first rate. We took friends from out of state, and they swore they were eating in the Caribbean...

Saturday Evening "Happy Hour" on Labor Day weekend. Had the most enjoyable time with Andreas as our bartender. He was very friendly and worked with us until my picky wife found the perfect drink! Andreas also spent time with us just being friendly in conversation (never rushed off and never made us feel like we weren't his only customers). Great atmosphere at the outdoor bar and we even got to hear some music by Maeve McMahon on the patio with some great Fleetwood Mac!

Love wine and sharing style food and wanted to like this place. And I generally like dishes with some nice acidity-but the Watermelon Salad and Shrimp Tostada had so much vinegar and citrus they obliterated the taste of anything else. Strange for a place you'd think would also emphasize compatibility with wine. Server was friendly, checked on us often. Patio is nice, but atmosphere can change if people bring their kids to play in the adjacent park. Interesting wine selections, but no bargains.

Glass and Vine is the perfect restaurant for an outdoor celebration or just enjoying with your favorite company. The ambiance is quiet and perfect for a relaxing time and enjoy great food. Prices are reasonable and if you come back withing 90 days, bring your receipt and get a cocktail or appetizer or dessert complimentary. In case is hot, they have gigantic fans. They are located next to an open breeze park. I like to commend my server Maura V. Her friendliness is contagious. She is on top of your needs and makes excellent menu recommendations. I love Glass and Vine and go there very often.

We felt covid safe feeling being outdoor in a park like setting under trees on a patio. The food was delicious and the staff super friendly.

We’ve heard good reviews about the restaurant from people in the area, so decided to check it out. The location is great, the patio seating is beautiful, and the ambience is really nice. It was Spice Week in Miami, so we decided to try their tasting menu. The croquettes were excellent, and the Mediterranean salad was good. We ordered the rigatoni, which was good, but the chicken was nothing special. The bottle of wine was good, but we had to refill our own glasses and water was tepid and never refilled. Our order was taken by the server, food was brought by the runner, and we never saw our waiter again until the end of dinner when the check was brought to the table. Overall, decent food, mediocre service. Unimpressed.

Great view & great food. The server was very attentive to our requests & questions. The broccoli Hamburger a must and the baked egg was incredible. Stracciatella was another dish we wanted to get as table next to us said was excellent. This is a return trip. Don't forget the sweet potato tater tots.

The Grove seems to be on the decline. Glad to see this restaurant. The food was good, service good. I had trouble with ordering wine— they did not have the bottle I selected from the menu.

Friends wanted to go so we did - I was not expecting to like the restaurant as much as I did based on reviews. Food was interesting, drinks were very good and service was smooth. We enjoyed everything we had - appetizers, salad (Bibb) and main courses.

Ask for the doggy menu, I kid you not! Three options at $8 each for your furry companion. They provide dished with water too. Food is great and sufficiently varied. You can order and share main courses which is highly recommended. Terrace seating available around the entire perimeter of the restaurant. Great for kids too!

I had the opportunity to dine at glass and vine for an event the weekend of 12/04-05/2021. It was the first time for the entire party. The host was kind, quick, and thorough. She corrected a reservation mistake with ease. The seating was perfect and the ambiance could not be beaten. In addition, everyone who actually had the opportunity to eat what they ordered enjoyed the quality of their dish...which is rare. The problem with the experience was the server. The server was lackluster and not as efficient as he could have been. The entrees although staggered came at a decent dining pace. However, the server was not attentive. He needed to be flagged down in order to take the orders of the persons who arrived after everyone has been seated. He also did not refresh the waters without being prompted. One of the guests had to grab unused water at the end of the table for a refill. The server also accepted a triple tip without disclosing the gratuity had already been added to the bill. He received the gratuity that was added to the bill. An additional tip from the closing of the bill and a cash tip. At no point did he disclose gratuity had been previously added.

Very cute place with great food, I have been here for lunch and dinner and I have experienced great service. They have a nice outdoors space pretty much situated in the middle of a park which is also great for people with kids.

Had an amazing lunch! Staff were incredible and very friendly. Maura was our waitress and she made our experience so personal and heartfelt. Would definitely recommend for a summer lunch out!

Love this restaurant and can’t wait until it’s open per normal. Right next to a park with play equipment for the kids, great menu and drinks, happy hour prices can’t be beat. Ordered takeout during COVID closures.

We were visiting the area and went to Glass & Vine looking for a quick bite. We thought that it would be a relaxing lunch on the park but it definitely wasn’t what we anticipated.... Pluses: Tasty grilled shrimp salad Good toasted/buttered bread Minuses: Bread was given only on request and at a $2 cost—we’ve dined internationally and throughout the US and almost never get charged for bread. The restaurant was so noisy that it was impossible to have a conversation. We just kept looking at one another mouthing OMG at the loud screeching of other patrons and general level of chaos—as New Yorkers we are used to loud restaurants but this was beyond the pale Questionable hygienic practices were disconcerting. We were seated inside near the bar and watched as staff members with filthy shirts reached bare hands into dishes of chips that were put on plates while busboys brought used plates back to the same counters and wiped plates and counters with rags that had obviously been used and reused in many occasions. I work in hospitals and am not at all phobic about germs but, again, this made me really uncomfortable about contamination and hygienic standards. I’ve eaten at many restaurants worldwide but have never have felt this uncomfortable with the hygienic practices of an established restaurant. Service was passable but not great

The restaurant is set in a park with grass and trees -- and wild parrots -- in view. Service is great but the food is mediocre quality. My breakfast eggs and bacon came out tepid and the potatoes tasted like they'd been sitting around. Hubby's mahimahi sandwich was bland. Enjoy the scenery and the fresh air, and order light.

The place is beautiful but service don´t make it justice, our appetizer came at the end of dinner, waiter dropped melted butter on my husband´s chair and didn´t clean up, expensive for an OK food, and the waiter argued with me when I left a 18% gratuity instead of 20%

First we asked for 5-6 different types of wine that were on the list and they didn't have them. The appetizers were ok. We asked for 2 -20 oz ($48) Ribeye, one medium and the other one medium well, they brought two well. The meat was a ripped off, they were not 20 oz and didn't taste fresh. We complaint to Mateo, the server, and nothing was done. I do know what a Ribeye is as we go different Steakhouses, like Graziano, Ruth Chris, Morton's, etc, etc.

It is a great location to meet up at happy hour for half price cocktails and a glass of wine. There is a small selection of small plates for $4.00 each. The ambience is wonderful. For Miami, it is very good value. The dinner menu is not very large, the selections are fairly standard, the food quality is as expected for the price, not a wow. Will return for happy hour.

Came by for a few cocktails and light snacks. Holy Patio!! They are completely surrounded by beautiful grove scenery. You can’t help but feel refreshed with all the incredible green bordering you. Wines are at a good price, snacks came out quick. The bar scene was lively for a Friday afternoon. All in all, great experience and can’t wait to be back.

Katia D will ensure your dining experience will exceed your expectations. She has a strong knowledge of the menu and will quickly describe the highlights. The grouper with a well balanced peanut sauce was great. Save room for the chocolate cake

Great breakfast setting at Peacock Park. Food was great; Avocado Toast with Salmon and Croquetas. Excellent Coffee and natural lemonade. Very special service by Santiago (we nicknamed him Chago).

The restaurant is located in a park and surrounded by trees. It’s a very nice setting. My partner had a burger with truffle fries and said both were very good. I had the roasted chicken. It was dry and overcooked. Service was very good. We would give it another try but avoid the chicken.

Horrible Customer Service!!! We walked in to have dinner last night. We were completely ignored. They weren’t even busy. Stood at the bar several minutes until we could finally get the bartender to acknowledge us. He told us to grab any seat. Then rudely told my husband to put on his mask which was around his neck completely innocent mistake. He put on his mask to walk a few feet to a table. We sat at the table for several minutes (about 10) completely ignore. We got up and left. We walked right past several employees. They didn’t say a word and basically could care less. I guess they don’t really want customers.

Glass & Vine is awesome. The staff are super friendly and professional - especially Matthew and Max, the bartender. The food is superb. We tried the charred cauliflower, Glass & Vine Cesar Salad, The Burger and Carbonara Fries. And we would try them again. The Carbonara Fries are a winner! The atmosphere is open air with lots of fans and a great breeze. Very comfortable.

Great restaurant with nice decor, food and great drinks. Such a great treat for the Coconut Grove area.

We had an extremely excellent night, attended by Santi, who was very friendly and attentive at every moment without leaving a small detail to the carelessness. I recommend them 100% if you want your night to be spectacular, repeat every day

We stopped by for an early dinner last week and left very happy! Our server, Santiago, was great and anticipated our every need. Maria, the manager, was very attentive and made sure all was good. The food was really, really good. We shared the watermelon salad, branzino, and charred cauliflower. Yummy! There was no room left for dessert. Oh, can't forget the wine! It's a beautiful outside patio restaurant with fairy lights and our miami breeze. This is what South Florida is all about!

This restaurant features a lovely, park-like outdoor setting. The food was tasty enough, nothing memorable. But what made Glass and Vine really stand out, as many others have stated, was the service. In a word: horrible. Add us to the growing chorus of diners screaming “BAD SERVICE!” The waitstaff, including someone who looked like the manager, ignored us when we first walked in. We were grudgingly given a table, and eventually, our waitress arrived. She was pleasant enough, but in a class by herself when it comes to how-not-to-be-a-server. I’d be hard-pressed to remember when I’ve encountered a more indifferent, least engaging server. Slow, inattentive, and utterly unconcerned, she gave us minimal customer service, and didn’t even pretend to care whether we satisfied or not. I still don’t know how, in the few times she visited the table, we managed to actually get a meal. We didn’t stiff her on the tip, even though she deserved it. It’s really a shame. To walk into such a pretty place and receive sub-standard treatment can really ruin an evening. And the toilets? I’ve been to beach restrooms in Asia that were cleaner.

Service, food, seating, parc!!! A fantastic night. New years eve, trying to avoid the crowded área of South Beach, we found this wonderfull restaurant in the park, with public parking in front . Perfect service , owners working hard on NYE!!! Where do you find that ??? Wonderfull food, champagne and countdown!!! Congratulations to all the Team of glass & vine , it was a magic NYE. If like this on a special day, Try it on weekends!!!

Great staff! The bar tender Alex is amazing and makes excellent recommendations! I love the happy hour and ambiance. Excellent spot!

Friends and I enjoyed a glorious late afternoon brunch. From hostess to all other noted staff they run a good show. Elizabeth was our server and added to the overall experience with her friendliness, knowledge of the menu items and efficient service. We all enjoyed cocktails, apps and entrees under ideal weather as the sun set over the park.

Thought this would be a great place to go to with friends. We had twenty in our party and the service was horrible. Do not think they knew what they were doing, especially when it came to the bill. There was no excuse for them giving food to the wrong people, etc. Surely they could hire help with experience. The restaurant itself is noisy inside and out. The food is okay but there are other places in the area that are better.

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing HH in the outdoor seating area under a canopy of trees adjacent to Peacock Park. Very memorable spot to imbibe a refreshing beer on warm day!

While walking me and my friends spotted this romantically lit venue next to a cute family park and shaded under classic Miami trees and umbrellas. I’m so glad we stopped because the staff were so welcoming and accommodating to us! Our waiter Andy and the bartender Blacki were amazingly friendly going above and beyond!

We went there for lunch ( 4 adults, 2 kids) and did not order anything fancy. 1/2 hour later i had to "hail" somebody to see when our food would come..It finally came, though the hamburger medium rare was not medium rare...not to mention that there was hardly anybody when we came in, so could not understand the delay to be served... Somebody came to check on us and apologized for the delay ( which is nice) but service was really not acceptable... that is too bad because 2 days previous to that lunch my husband and i went for a drink and a quick appetizer and we sat at the bar and the service at the bar was great and friendly... wish service was more consistent..will give it another try on our next visit to Miami though..

The atmosphere is quiet and very pleasant for a good talk, winr drinking and very well prepared dishes tasting. The waiter was extremely attentive, explaining the menu with detail. The dishes surpassed the expectation. We tried two dishes: octopus and grilled lamb loin. We had a French wine, indicated by the waiter, which combined very well with the atmosphere of the place. The wine list has very varied options regarding the body of the wine and the prices. It caters to varied tastes. Despite being summer in Florida, the large fans positioned at the garden ensured a pleasant temperature. I recommend it for a dinner or simply wine tasting with interesting foods. Excellent.

I almost gave Glass and Vine the very hard to get 5th star but the food was just not great and the service either. I mean they were not bad, they just weren't great!!! We had Charred Cauliflower, which was surprisingly good; Jamon Serrano Croquetas, which were the best thing we tasted; Fried Yuca, they were just ok; and Tuna Tartare, my favorite dish everywhere I go and I have to say this one was not one of the best I've eaten. Was it worth it? Well, the place and ira surrounding area was so nice. From our table you could see a huge park right attached to it with large trees with lights, soccer stadiums, etc...it was so relaxing and pleasing...so, YES, I would definitely go again!!!

Would not recommend!! Very limited choices. Over priced your basically dining in a children’s playground paper napkins and the restrooms wouldn’t qualify as a skanky gas station. Yuk!

Have been several times before. Went around 6:30pm and got an outside table. Service was great and food was decent. An enjoyable experience.

Apps were so good..spinach dip and croquettes...loved the gnocchi...cauliflower tasty, papardelle excellent as were steak frittes...desserts big and rich. Great meal and great service. Loved it!

Wanted to love this place, because the decor is lovely and I had been looking forward to dinner here. We did arrive late in the evening, which was part of the problem. Service was slow to start, and the pasta I ordered was obviously old because it was all stuck together and dry. The sauce was also way too heavy on the lemon, too sour, and it was inedible. It’s rare that I take one bite of a meal and refuse to even try another, but that was the case with their lemon pasta dish. I’ve had better pasta from a box of velveeta Mac and cheese, which is unfortunate. Luckily, my family donated parts of their entrees to me. We didn’t want to bother our server with the issue since we knew they were close to closing down. The steak Caesar salad was good, as was the lobster Mac. My husband’s gnocchi was just okay. Overall, not the best experience.

Great ambience! Huge shaded patio with park & playground next door. Charred cauliflower and ceviche were delicious. The service is slow and regularly delivered plates to the wrong tables, but there is no rush to leave by staff so just come to stay awhile, enjoy the patio, good food, live music, and good ambience.

Let me start with the better experience. Good location for parents with kids - playground adjacent to the restaurant. Food was good for the most part. Now let's get to the experience that will NOT take me back to this restaurant. Our family made reservations for 16 and therefore we were provided with two set menus to choose from with a set price for each. Once arrived at the restaurant our table had to be relocated due to a leak in the AC that was dripping near the table we originally were to sit at. Due to the inconvenience the manager provided two bottles of sparkling wine for the table. Not necessary, but appreciated. Once accommodated we waited 45 minutes for the server to come by and tell us that our appetizers were going to come out shortly and he would then take our orders. By the way - never introduced himself and we were not sure he was our server. We asked him for the menu of the selections - which were never provided and basically he told us what the selections were. We had three appetizers which arrived at different times and were COLD. When we saw the server, we asked for OJ and oh yes, Coffee which was part of the set menu and never offered. Then proceeded to ask for sugar and cream since no one thought of providing this to accompany the coffee. Oh yes and let's not forget a spoon to mix your sugar and cream. Well forget that because they DO NOT HAVE SPOONS. We were provided with appetizer sticks (like tooth picks - a bit fancier). Finally he took our order. Then the food all came out except for two in the party. After alerting the server, he went to check in the kitchen only to let us know that the chef made a mistake and double plated the order and he would have the chef re-do the order. The order was a simple bagel and lox. Not much prep time for that - but it still took a good 30 minutes. By the time they came out - everyone had finished eating. We sent it back and asked for the check. Water was not ever replenished, nor did anyone bother to ask if we needed anything else. We did advise the manager of the awful experience and he did adjust the check. Although accepted and appreciated. We explained that the service was very disappointing and we thought that our feedback would be beneficial to the establishment. He did seem a bit disturbed and perplexed by the amount of people in the restaurant, and said they were very busy for brunch. Well guest what - that is not my problem. Staff accordingly as our group was not a surprise and train your staff how to serve. What is really bad is that the server still got his tip since the large group requires a mandatory tip of 22%. Not going back and Not recommending this experience to no one. I get better service at Denny's. FOUR hours later we paid and left very dissatisfied. It's not about the money - it's about service. Although one person in our party basically paid $38 for 4 tater tots and a left over bagel with lox. Thanks but, no thanks!

The food is great. The manager found out it was my husband’s birthday and made it extra special. It’s the little things that count.

Coconut Grove provides a great atmosphere and 'Glass & Vine' a great decor for lunch. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the menu is large. Try the twice fried chicken, watermelon, guava miso, and cucumber.

This informal restaurant offers bar seating, undercover seating and completely outdoor seating. The focus is small dishes that can be shared. Some good options include the water melon salad, the ceviche and the mini-burger (surprisingly good). Good Bloody Mary. Service is pleasant and prompt, wait staff work in tandem. No parking.

A group of us went to dinner last weekend and it was great. They have definitely changed up the menu and quality of food. My husband and I had gone a couple years ago and were not impressed with the food the couple times we went. We went this time because of a birthday celebration and we did not pick the place. We were hesitant because of our last experiences. And were were pleasantly surprised. The ham croquettes and steaks frites were delicious! The place overall is alittle pricey but we had a great time so it was worth it. A party of 6 ordered 13 drinks, 10 tapas, and 4 entrees and the bill came out to $600. Have spent more at dinner but definitely have spent less.

Was attracted to this place after stumbling across it during a stroll through The Grove. The exterior patio was very nice and complimented the winter weather with a nice view of the nearby park and marina. The initial service took awhile once we were seated, about 10 minutes, we were just about to walk away when the waitress finally showed. The wine selection was ok but a bit over priced, like many other places in the area. We did not try the food but from what I saw it appeared average.

We came here for a light fair on a Sunday afternoon and were so disappointed. The menu is veré limited. The food is not LIGHT and very spicy ! The service is fine, but the noise(music so loud) doesn’t let you speak . The bathrooms are so dirty. If you are looking for quiet and light don’t come here.

The restaurant is located at a privileged location. At Peacock Park in Coconut Grove with lush green surroundings, and the bay really close. It's located where the Library used to be and they have really done a nice job in decorating it. Nice bar area, and great huge portable fans that allow for a nice breeze, where naturally doesn't exist during Summer or Fall. We tried almost all the menu, as we were six ladies celebrating a birthday. We started at Happy Hour on a Friday afternoon and ended up around 8:30pm. The venue serves many different fish, meat and chicken dishes, all in 'tapas' style. Really tasty and very well presented. We tried ceviche, watermelon salad, yuca (excellent, one of our favorite), cold cuts, and more that I can remember right now. I had La Mula for drink, spicy and delicious! For dessert we all agreed on the bread pudding, that was heavenly. Worth a try when in the area! Worth the drive if you aren't.

Love the location of this restaurant; was able to sit and enjoy tapas and cocktails while kids played Jenga and ran around the playground. Definitely a kid friendly restaurant. Service was lacking but was still able to enjoy my visit. Will certainly return.

We had a tasty meal & enjoyed happy hour drink & food specials. The restaurant is near the park and lit trees make for a lovely backdrop. Don’t skip desert because the guava bread pudding was amazing!

We loved the pics of this place and the decor and happy hour lived up to the anticipation. Wine was half off (and good!) and the guacamole on the happy hour was amazing and a great value. We still rated it 3/5 stars because the staff was unprofessional

I had really high hopes! I haven't been to this restaurant in quite some time. I love the ambiance, particularly this time of year. The restaurant feels like you are in a tropical paradise. But, the food was mediocre. The restaurant was missing several dishes - some they told us about when we were ordering; two they told us about after we ordered and so we had to change our order. And the service was just okay.

Really nice outdoor eatery. Went during their happy hour and their wine and beer selection was outstanding. They serve cocktails, too. Price are a bit high but the food was very good. The chicken was marinade and very moist. The appetizers were very good. Really loved the coconut grove area.

We hosted a family brunch at Glass & Vine last weekend. While the setting was lovely, the food and the service were so deficient that it was almost embarrassing. Where to start? Certain dishes--notably the croquettes and the ceviche--were acceptable. The salmon tartine consisted of a tiny piece of smoked salmon topped by a wilted mass of greens that should have been discarded days ago. The "American breakfast" was a greasy mass not worthy of a down scale diner. The salads were composed of the same tired ingredients and unripe tomatoes. The truffle fries were expensive and barely edible--limp, greasy. and unappetizing. We had to ask the "waiter" for basics--cutlery, lemons, salt and pepper...numerous times. And since the service is automatically added, you can't do anything about it when it is so lacking. It's a popular place, so my criticisms will be unlikely to change anything, but my recommendation would be to go there for the fresh air and eat elsewhere.

The service was amazing! We loved it!! The food was excellent and the kids ate it all! Steak frites! Kids loved it Brussels Sprouts thumb ups! Kids approved Watermelon salad Yum! Antipasto table!!! Everything perfect for a couple of Bellinis and play date with kids!! The kids park right there!!! We r coming back for sure!!

Nice bar/restaurant overlooking a playing field with views to the bay. Great hostess offered us outside seating meaning we could keep an eye on the kids using the playground near by. Great happy hour (4pm-7pm) with good choice of drinks and light bites.

We were 12 people on this special outing. Our daughter had made a reservation for 6:30PM a week before May 14th, 2017. And she did get there at 6:15PM. But apparently the table that had been reserved was given to another party. And we had to sit outside on the terrace, being that the interior seating is very reduced. It was very hot and we were not comfortable during the whole dinner. The food, at least for us, was OK but the menu is quite reduced and the prices are on the mid to high range. All in all, we were not satisfied with the visit.

Glass and Vine is my favorite restaurant in the Grove. This time I was very lucky to have Elizabeth as our waitress. Elizabeth was great. She had excellent recommendations, she was polite, came to attend to our needs often and she was very friendly. Please let Elizabeth know how grateful we were.

We stopped by Glass & Vine at around 4 pm, and to be fair were warned that the ktichen was close but we could order something at the bar, which ended up being a disappointing experience, the bar snacks menu was very limited, basic and expensive, how about $6 for some bread with butter and olive oil? The kind that you get as a compliment at your table elsewhere. It had been a while since I had been turned down at any restaurant because the kitchen was closed between shifts. The location is very nice but there are many other alternatives in Coconut Grove, next time I will try something different, hopefully the kitchen will bot be closed at 4 pm

This restaurant is a gem! My husband and I celebrated my birthday with a romantic dinner at Glass and Vine. We absolutely loved it! Coincidentally, there was a live jazz band performing which made the experience even more romantic. The aesthetics of the restaurant itself at night is fabulous! Definitely be ready to take some pictures. It is well-lit but not overexaggerated which makes the experience perfect. Our server, Maura, was exceptional! All her recommendations were on point and she was a sweetheart. Mark, I believe he was the manager (or maybe owner) even asked the band to sing happy birthday to me, which was such a kind gesture. They have a variety of cocktails, wines, and champagnes, which pair nicely with the menu. My husband and I shared the tuna appetizer (delicious!) and for entrée, my husband ordered skirt steak and I ordered the gnocchi. Thank you Glass and Wine for an unforgettable birthday. We will be back!

Beautiful spot, disappointing quality of food which results in very expensive experience, one pays for the beautiful gardens and an automatic 20% tip on top of a dull experience, we will not return.

Lovely setting, great service but food was extremely disappointing. Menu is limited especially if you can’t eat seafood. I don’t mind a small menu if everything is seasonal and well cooked but even the beef and chicken was dry and lacking flavor. The food arrived at the table on the cold side too which is not good.
Good
Good food and excellent location. Wonderful setting and very reasonable value for the money considering the quality of the food
