Haven't yet found a reliably good, upscale restaurant in the Austin area that satisfies my palate for true, authentic Cuban cuisine. But Gloria's is close for getting some of it right. The food, ambiance and service is pretty good here, although not as good as the many great Cuban restaurants you might find in Miami.

The food was really good, but the service was very unfortunate (except for the bar service, which was quick and pleasant). The waiter seemed annoyed to be doing his job and very unhappy to be serving my business group of four people. The waiter corrected me twice on a conversation that I was having with my business colleagues and was not pleased with the discussion I had with them. That said it was about presidential politics and he clearly let his political views to be known. I feel bad about the rating I am giving Gloria's because the ambiance was very nice and the food was good, but it was one of the worst dinner experiences I have ever had. Sorry Gloria's, but he is your ambassador.

Had a really good meal here with my daughter and her friend, we shared a number of starters and wine. Service was very good. Atmosphere buzzing... only negative was we had a lovely heater and were nearly finished our meal when a waiter come over and removed the heater without even asking us if we minded. the table behind us were also shocked... but as soon as we said they offered to move us inside. But bad form not asking if we minding them moving it to other customers. I guess he who shouts loudest wins!

Stopped in for lunch while shopping in the Domain area. We had a wonderful time, the chicken chimi is just divine! The presentation was excellent and the chips and warm bean dip were yummy. Our waiter was a little inattentive but it didn't ruin the experience.

We have eaten at this location many times since we live very near the Domain. However, three weeks ago we went in for a late lunch after the rush and the place was less than half full. We waited twenty minutes and then walked out. The place was not busy. More than half the tables were empty. The wait at that time of the day was ridiculous. While the food has always been good, we will not be back. This is not New York or LA where you can abuse people's time and patience and they will still come back. So, the front of the house gets you one star. I hope you learn from this.

Our wonderful waiter Moize for lunch was on point with his services and with correcting my order. We decied to go back for dessert that same evening, Waitress took a long time to bring dessert , however the dessert was delicious. The management stayed monitoring guest tables during peak times. I love the atmosphere and food.

My daughter took me to Gloria's. It was excellent. The service was great and the food was awesome. I look forward to going here again when I visit in July. It is a fun and clean atmosphere. There was a short wait but well worth waiting for!

This was our best meal in Austin in terms of getting everything right. It is a large place with plenty of seating and enough staff to make the service prompt when you needed it. The menu fit everyone's diverse needs, and every one of our meals was perfectly prepared. I had the Pescado Gloria, which was perfectly done and just the right mixture of fish, soup and rice. We shared a bottle of Malbec that was reasonably priced compared to some of the other restaurants. Overall, the cost was lower than I expected given the really high quality of food and service. I'd go back there again and again if I lived there.

Fully flavored Latin food with great service. Sangria packs a punch. Modern décor with open spaces. Plan on coming back next time I'm in Austin.

I loved the original Glorias in Dallas, but this is just chain food. Very disappointing. The big dining room is kind of a weird space, high ceiling, beige plastic table clothes and beige chairs, not very festive. It made me feel beige. Our waitress was very sweet. I had a chili rellano and a chicken enchilada. It was just blah, so chain...that yucky orange yellow queso that is from food service. I probably won't go back unless I am in Dallas because I'd rather eat a local taqueria and get some authentic flavor. One of my companions had carna asada that was pretty good, tender. His plantains were good.

Good location in the Domain. Consistently good food. Service is fair and sometimes slow but courteous waiters. Decor is good. Inside and outside seating.

We went here to celebrate our twin daughters’ 37th birthday. We went early (5:45) because we knew it would be crowded. Luckily, we got seated right away. They were pretty full. Our waiter, Alex was very good. We had drinks and an appetizer of pupusas. We had never had them before and really liked them. We had the pork and cheese ones. They had a special of red drum fish which my husband and daughters got. It was good. I got the talapia made the El Salvador way and it was excellent! The prices were pretty reasonable although I thought the margaritas were priced a little high. I would definitely go back.

Big and nice place, the food is costumed to american people taste, not spicy at all, just plain taste. We tried the salmon and the fish tacos and we finished with the fried banana. Little pricy for Mexican food. Service was good.

Started chips and salsa and bean dip are awesome. MUST GET the house margarita! Flan is best ever! Fresh ingredients. Staff pleasant but not exceptional.

We've been here about 3 times now. Yes, it's expensive, but it's one of our favorites. Expect to pay around $80 for two people. Portions are big and provide a different flavor than just the typical Latin restaurant. Beware that the black beans have lard, for those of you who are vegetarian, vegan etc. We haven't had a single bad drink yet either. They are prepared strongly so limit yourself if you're driving!

Went there with my husband when I first moved to Austin. My chicken enchiladas were sooo good! I can be pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food and I'll admit, I was nervous about ordering enchiladas (my first time having them) but I thoroughly enjoyed them! The only thing I would ask to take off (if possible) would be the mushrooms that were in the sour cream sauce on top. I do not like mushrooms, so I picked them out while I ate, but that absolutely will not stop me from dining there again. My husband ordered Red Fish, which came with mixed vegetables and he really liked it as well. I ordered a Strawberry Mojito, light on the mint, and the bartender made it PERFECT! Our waitress was brand new. She even told us it was her first day on her own! We could tell that she did not know the menu 100%, but at the same time, their menu is rather large. Overall, it was a very good experience and we will definitely be back!

We were surprised to get seated within minutes on a Saturday evening, just walking in right at 7 pm. Loved the atmosphere, much better than your traditional Tex-Mex and great drink selection!

I went with friends on a Saturday/salsa night. I did get there a couple hours before food service ended, the grilled salmon was fantastic! Nice slight crisp on the outside and juicy, flavorful tendernes on the inside. The rice was in point! For drinks we ordered a Paloma, mango margarita and a guava/guayaba margarita. There is live music and dancing at 11pm on Saturday. Dress shoes are recommended if you would like to go for drinks at this time. This is a nice place to go for comida latina and the atmosphere is friendly but, a little on the loud side.

We saw this restaurant on our way back to the hotel and liked the outdoor patio vibe and menu and decided to return for dinner. When we got there, around 8pm, the place was hopping: lots of parties of young people, loud music and an electric atmosphere. We decided to have dinner at the bar as there was an hour wait for a table and were very happy there; it was a little less noisy and the attention by the staff was great. Pupusas for starters, a combo plate and a steak salad were our choices and everything was delicious, full of flavor. Cocktails were good but either I've grown immune to the alcohol or they weren't very strong. Regardless, we had a great time and enjoyed our dinner.

Visited Gloria's on a Saturday night and the place was buzzing with people because of the live Salsa night. There is a $10 entrance fee if you reach after 10pm and tables are difficult to get. The restaurant offers Latin, Mexican and Salvador cuisine along with lots of drinks options. Service is prompt and staff is courteous. Happy hours on Monday to Wednesday are applicable throughout the day while on Thursday and Friday 11am to 7pm . Nice place for office lunches!

In Austin for a wedding weekend with my boyfriend and his family. We spent our last night in town at Gloria's because we heard they have the best margaritas. My bf and I arrived early, got drinks and an app while waiting for the rest of his family. The restaurant is beautiful with high ceilings and cool colored lights and interesting chandeliers. Endless homemade tortilla chips and bean dip and salsa were the perfect start to the night, honestly maybe the best bean dip I've had. Got my classic margarita and it is quite good (not the best I've had but not far from it). When everyone else is here we ordered our main dish, the enchiladas Gloria (3 chicken enchiladas with red tomatillo, green tomatillo, and queso sauce, came with refried beans and rice). That was pretty good but again, not the best Tex Mex I've had in Austin. Overall I would say this place had good food, good drinks, great ambience, great service, and ok prices (you can definitely get better TexMex in Austin for a fraction of the price). However, it is a beautiful restaurant close to 6th Street (party central) with a really good vibe to it and both indoor and outdoor seating, so I would definitely recommend this place to anyone (big or small groups) looking for a more upscale dining experience without it feeling snooty.

The service was fantastic. Quick and helpful with suggestions and explanations. The setting is very nice. Would make a great date night outing. Outdoor seating as well as inside. Very busy and happening place.

The bean dip is so good. I had the white enchiladas which were very good. It is a little loud inside the restaurant but overall had a good experience.

I was very disappointed in the food. This was Mother's Day and supposed to be something special. The Mimosa was served in a goblet and was more orange juice than champagne. The enchiladas I ordered were extremely dry and caked on the top with very little sauce.

Went for brunch and it was yummy-- kind of pricey but it was in the Domain so I expected that. Drinks were strong but expensive. They gave my son the wrong meal, but he ate it anyway as we had just landed from a 4 hour flight and were starved.

Wonderful food, great service, and nice ambiance! The food was an interesting mix of Central American, Mexican, and Tex Mex. We had the salmon, salvatex carne guisada, and Mar y Tierra (surf and turf). All cooked well and delicious! We had a large group and were accommodated well. We had an issue with our meal but it was addressed promptly and courteously! We also had the fruit wrap for dessert. Like heaven in a fried tortilla! Overall great restaurant.

The black bean dip that comes with nachos is our favorite. Wife loves the carne asada and I always get chimichanga. Also its at the domain, so it will be easy to walk off all the food.

A friend of mine recommended this restaurant for their good food and fun atmosphere. I went on Saturday night to checked it out. I had to wait 30 minutes before I was seated The atmosphere was fun. The server (Diego) was not friendly. Diego, did not recommend any drink, or food on the menu. I ordered Shrimp Plancha. It was an ok choice. Shrimp were over cocked, and little bit salty. Several times I requested to get a water refill, but I did not get water refill. I spoke with the manager on the way out, but he was not interested in listening. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant simply for their bad service.

The patio is what it's all about! I can't get enough of their black bean dip! The tamales are wrapped in banana leaves, they're freaking awesome! My husband always gets the quail. I like the enchiladas, gorditas, and salad. The house margarita is really good, and for brunch they have good mimosas.

There was a 40min wait to sit inside, so we chose to sit outside. The atmosphere was the best thing about this place. The food was just okay. . . the drink was okay . . . I had a BLAST because I was with friends - but I feel like it's an overrated joint. You're paying for atmosphere - and it's a nice one.

We all loved this place. Great food (we went for brunch), had a mimosa for only $2 added to our meal and the atmosphere was beautiful. Our server, Ana, was super nice and handled lots of special requests with a smile.

We drove over to the Domain to locate Gloria's so wife could find it later in the week for a girls lunch out. The mall is huge but Gloria's was easy to find. Lots of parking places but it is still a task to find one close to the restaurant during the lunch hours. We lucked out and got a fairly close spot with an easy walk to the entrance. The hostess seated us right away and we took in the overall décor which is somewhat modern and slick looking. Our server showed up shortly with chips and salsa and took our drink order. The salsa was good, if not a little too hot for me but wife really liked it and the chips were warm and crisp. I usually dread ordering house margaritas because, almost universally, they are sickeningly sweet; loaded with sweet and sour mix and light on tequila. To my surprise, Gloria's house margarita (HH price $6) was definitely way above the competition. It has an interesting darker appearance than most margaritas and I could taste the quality tequila on the first sip. Not sweet at all but a refreshing, come back for more taste. We settled on sharing the Pork Tenderloin Fajita quesadilla for our food. The service here is fast and friendly. Our quesadilla arrived before we had consumed half of our margaritas. It was very good. No waste in the pork chunks that were seasoned with something that gave the meat a delicious taste. It comes with guacamole, sour cream and some pico de gallo. Along with the chips and salsa, we had enough food to fill us both. I had to have another margarita and wife tried the mojito this time. It wasn't as good as the margarita but it wasn't bad. This is a great place for late lunches and the all day happy hour is the icing on the cake.

Looking for some tex-mex with outside seating and good wine. Bouncer grabbed a couple of regulars and they sent us to Gloria's. Place is beautiful, outside seating was great and the guac was fantastic.

We had a large group... The 1 server they gave us for 17 did a fabulous job of keeping up the group! Margaritas very nice... Salsa, bean dip & queso very nice. Lots of different entrees were order and all got good reviews, I had the garlic grilled shrimp with rice & veggies, excellent! I'd go back!

Its been a long time since my last visit to this restaurant and the overall experience was average at best! The food was just okay! I ordered the chicken enchiladas and it was lukewarm at best! No real taste! Had to wait an hour to be seated! Plenty of parking behind the restaurant.

I went there with a friend and I really enjoyed my meal. Nice atmosphere too but hust a little pricey. I got a steak with some Argentinian sauce and it was good. I guess the name is Carne Asada or something similar lol. It's worth it tho

You cannot hear yourself think in this place, it's so noisy. The food is presented like modern art, just thrown on the plate. Its total slop, under seasoned, bland, poorly cooked and put together in haste - wouldn't eat here again if you paid me

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful! Give it a try! Three things to consider: 1. It gets busy on the weekends, so be thoughtful about when you go! 2. Tatiana is the best server. You'll be lucky to get her as your server! 3. Be adventurous and try something new! Enjoy, foodies!

We stopped by here for lunch on Saturday. Nobody in view was wearing a mask, except customers; not the front desk staff, waiters, or bussers. We asked to eat on the patio with a masked server. They told us they only have one masked server, and he only works inside. We left. If you wish to follow health guidances for Covid -- eating outside and with masked servers - this is a lousy place.

Fab brunch with large servings & unreal Margueritas! Staff were pleasant and food was served quickly!

The food is delicious , this is a very busy place specially on the weekends. Good atmosphere but can be easily ruined by a angry and unfriendly waitress.

Busy Saturday night crowd yet we had no problem getting seated and our waiter was excellent. The food was truly overcooked. Not bad but certainly not a great meal. Adequate for a shopping mall. Chocolate Flan and Tres Leches desserts were definite highlights. Quite good.

We visited Austin and after luckily trying Gloria's, we ate there the next 4 days in a row.....cuisine is similar but unique (Latin American).....portions were generous but not grossly large, everything was fresh and the service each day was impeccable.... The last day, the manager came over to us and bought us our meal to say thanks...amazing place

I love this location, the food and the service. They have a great atmosphere, their chicken enchiladas are awesome and the margarita swirls are great!

My family and I stopped in to eat lunch after some shopping. We REALLY enjoyed our food - very tasty and large portions. The chips with salsa and black bean dip were also very good. We liked the cool vibe of the restaurant. Will definitely go back again to eat. With that said, we had a problem with our first waiter - we ordered a bottle of wine - he never brought it to us, even after we reminded him. Never put in the kids menu order of chicken nuggets for our grandson. Had to wait a LONG time for to him to take the adult orders. We brought it to the attention of management - bottle of wine immediately brought out, kids meal came out very fast (super hot, so we know that it was just fried up - my grandson loved it btw), and we got another waiter. Management checked in on us frequently after that to make sure we were enjoying our dining experience. THAT says a lot about their commitment to their customers. So if you go and are having really slow service, talk to management and they will improve it. The excellent food was worth the wait.

Nice place good Mexican food with some truly authentic Mexican recipes great service Kool atmosphere good for family gathering

We’d seen this location a number of times when we went to the Domain, but the wait time was always so extreme that we ended up going to other places. Eventually we were able to arrive at a time when we didn’t have to wait an hour, as we were informed they didn’t accept reservations. The interior was spacious and clean, but there were no soft surfaces, and the tables were close together, so we could imagine how loud this place could get. We were lucky and got seated towards the back. I’ve always judged a Mexican place by the quality of the queso and the cheese enchiladas, and those were the signature dishes I’d be getting. The queso was good and warm, the way it should be. That was the only thing which was done correctly in our meal. My fiancée noted the prices for the glasses of wine were twice that of other establishments in the Domain. Since “cheese enchiladas” weren’t technically on the menu, I had to order chicken enchiladas and have the cook do a substitution of ingredients. The “traditional red sauce” which covered my enchiladas was far from it, as it was clearly jarred spaghetti sauce that had been warmed and poured over the top. Not at all traditional for a Mexican place. The “Spanish rice” which came as a side was simply white rice with some sparse chopped bell pepper pieces scattered within. There was no other flavoring or seasoning besides that. My meal was not at all satisfying. My fiancée had ordered the pork fajitas, and she considered them a complete failure. The guacamole which came on the side was so saturated with lime juice that was the only thing which could be tasted. The pork was bone dry, which was indicative of it being previously cooked and then re-heated. Fajitas are supposed to sizzle on the plate when they arrive, and these were mildly warm. Our server was working a large party table at the same time, so there was no opportunity to have anything corrected. This was mentioned before the bill came, and nothing was adjusted for the poor experience we had. I could not locate the manager when I went looking, and the hostess wasn’t even at her station. We’ve never left a place without paying, but no tip whatsoever was given. This place was all hype and absolutely no substance. This is not a place we’ll be coming back to, because the opportunity to make amends for our experience was even attempted.

the food was great and the server was always sure we was ok..👏😀 I definitely come back anytime with my family and friends...the desert was really good..i got the trea leches

Overall inexpensive yet rather mediocre food in a setting imitating a luxurius setting while at the same time big screen TVs showing sports. The restaurant claims Latin cuisine with emphasis on Salvadorean. The dishes are all standard mexican fare under the title of Salvadoran food (except the mediocre pupusas).

Extensive Latin cuisine menu with a brunch! Really liked the brunch choices. Service can be slow, especially when busy, so don't go if you're pressed for time. Otherwise, enjoy yourself!

Recently dined at Gloria's and we will definitely be back in the future. Gabriel Culiat The service was wonderful and food was delicious

I had dinner at Gloria's with a large group of people. Everybody raved about their dinner and mine was good too. Our waiter did forget to key in my dinner so i had dinner after everyone else but it was still great.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday this past weekend at Gloria's. The food was great, the service wonderful, the prices affordable, & the atmosphere electrifying!! I've already planned for my husband and I to have date night there soon so that he can experience the same. If you ever have the chance to visit the Austin, Texas area & shop & visit the Domain area, make sure to have dinner at Gloria's!

Gloria’s was the perfect choice for our two couples after a long day at SXSW. The service was very attentive and fun and most importantly our table was ready at time of our reservation. From the black bean dip and salsa brought out to welcome us, we knew this place would be good. Food was fresh, authentic and homemade. Lived the Carne Flameada and margaritas especially. A cleaner upscale feel with a fun vibe.

I really wanted to like this place- it had a nice atmosphere and even the outdoor patio was comfortable in January. Unfortunately the food, drink and service didn’t get us there. Our server was professional but had a bit of an “air” or attitude. He did not take kindly to be asked the difference between two margaritas and abruptly said one was good without letting me finish my question. The bar must have been backed up because my first drink took way too long and my second came after I was finished and the food (even chips) had been cleared- if I was a jerk, I would have refused it. My pork dish was very good, the meat was nicely cooked and flavored and I enjoyed the black bean soup and fried plantains. My wife’s Chile rellano was undercooked thus the pepper was near raw and very strong. I can’t believe I’m even saying this but the margs were too strong, tasting of alcohol and not the balanced sweet and sour one expects- some might appreciate this but my cocktails are generally chosen to be refreshing and this was not. Price and value are good if you don’t drink alcohol- the cost of drinks is not unreasonable but will add significantly to your tariff. I would love to give Gloria’s another chance and would go with friends but given a choice, in a market saturated with Latin cuisines, I likely would not return in the near future

This was my first experience at Gloria's. I had no idea what to expect, but my cursory scanning of the reviews seemed positive. Late morning on a stormy Saturday I found myself in the Domain, and I needed shelter and sustenance. My mind was easily swayed. I love the modern decor, which is airy, especially near floor-to-ceiling windows, but you can still find some privacy within the inner sanctum. There's a very positive energy, and the staff greeted me with a smile. Families and friends, hipsters and hippies, and many others gathered with smiles all around during my leisurely brunch. Huevos Motuleños ($11.99) struck a strong chord with my pangs: Corn tostada, refried pinto beans, salsa rojo, two eggs over easy, queso fresco, ham, peas platanos fritos. Holy smokes! The multiple layers of flavor danced on my tastebuds. I was extremely impressed, and the ingredients are so simple. The platanos add a nice sweetness to balance the dish. I can't wait to go again.

The place was buzzing on a Sunday night, but we were seated promptly. The menu is half Tex-Mex, and half more traditional Latin. Loved the spicy salsa and beans served with the chips. Had fajitas and they were tasty, as were the house margaritas.

Right from the beginning. The dip and chips were exceptional. 3 bowls later I had to remember that I ordered the salmon with the side order of vegetables. The salmon was cooked perfect and melted in my mouth. The black rice and vegetables burst with flavor. For months I have been looking for a fine diner, and Gloria's made the mark. My associates recommended this place, and I am glad they did. Second, the service is fantastic. Third, the ambiance of the location is fabulous. I love Tex-Mex, but at times the spices are to overwhelming for me, not at Gloria's. Its the perfect blend.

OMG! The food here was out of this world Mexican food. We got a fish dish not on the menu and it was so tasty and delicious.. ask for the fish dish not on the menu. We had ginger margarita's which were so smooth. The desert tres leche topped our dinner off perfectly! This was truly a divine dining experience, with incredibly nice servers.

A delicious experience ! From the moment you walk in, and receive a extremely nice welcoming. To the amazing Dessert. It is hard to describe the great time we had ! Just a symphony of flavors ! Chips,Salsa,Refried Beans. Just to Start. Then you go to your main plate. Succulent Carne Asada Made to Perfection. The “Gloria’s” enchiladas. A dish you end cleaning totally the plate. Those Bananas, and Rice. Second to none. Everything just Incredible Good. And the Desserts. Oh Boy, “The Desserts”. So delicious. A place that definitely offers amazing value. In every way. Don’t miss it. I’ll bet will be in your favorites list.

Great service. Super margaritas. Stellar cuisine. People watching and great atmosphere. We eat here at least twice a year and will continue to do so. They do a great job.

We stumbled across this restaurant as we we able to find a parking place nearby (not easy in Austin). We were very pleasantly surprised by the food and the efficient, friendly wait staff. The Latin cuisine was similar to Mexican but the flavors were more subtle and less spicy which is very much to my taste. I would recommend this place to others visiting Austin and will return there myself next time I am there.

I've eaten here a few times when visiting The Domain. The food didn't disappoint. Once seated they place chips, salsa, and black beans puree down. The menu says it's happy hour all day but the Mexican martini was $11, which is on the high end for Austin standards. We ordered the queso, guac, pupusas, tamales, and quesadilla's to share. The pupusas were outstanding. The tamales come cut in half and you get 6 halves. Be warned, 3 of the halves had chicken bones in the tamale. The quac was nothing special, the queso had a great flavor, the tamales were almost bland but flavorful. The quesadilla's tasted like what you would get at any texmex place but the pupusas, they were hot, fresh, delicious. We had a mix of pork and cheese. All of those items plus one cocktail and one house wine and the bill was $63. We'll keep coming here but won't order the tamales ever again. The energy was fun and the staff was friendly.

My wife and I were in Austin for Valentine's Day, and we dined at Gloria's. It was FANTASTIC! The food was delicious, the service was first class, and the selection and quality of the margarita's was excellent! The atmosphere was also very nice. I would highly recommend Gloria's.

The restaurant is nice, the decorations were very beautiful. Staff is very attentive. The food was great and there was so much amazing options in the menu that it was hard to choose.

Glora's was a wonderful surprise while visiting Austin for a wedding. The food was authentic and had so much flavor. Our waitress described every dish spot on. The margaritas were the best we had in Austin.

The food was outstanding. I took my out of town family from CA there for Sunday brunch. We were able to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the warm sunshine. Gloria's is also a great place for happy hour with drink specials.

This is a great spot to check out if you are in the Domain. They have an outdoor patio area that is nice (weather permitting) and plenty of seating as it's rather big. I was just doing a little shopping and stopped here to meet up with a friend. I really like the all the Latin music in the background - the atmosphere is lively and upbeat. They made me some speciality tacos, not on the menu, which were phenomenal. The food was high quality, the service GREAT, and the fun environment topped off the experience. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent grilled Salmon Salad. The Salmon was cooked perfectly. The lettuce crisp and the dressing was wonderful. Priced well .

I moved to North Carolina a few years ago after living in Texas for 45 years. Whenever I visit Texas, the first place I want to eat is Gloria's. This is truly my favorite place to eat. If you opened one in Western North Carolina, I am sure you would do great business. :-)

While we've eaten at Gloria's in the Metroplex multiple times, this was the first time at the location in The Domain. We've never been disappointed in the food or the service at any Gloria's location. My wife had the chili rellenos and I had the tostadas. Both are great choices.

We have been to Gloria's a few times for lunch and I love their Beef Enchiladas - just the right amount of beef ( other places either too little or too much) with the best tasty chile con carne. My husband likes the Chimichanga and we usually finish with Fried Cinnamon Fruit Wrap for dessert, yummy.!I am not a chip person but their bean dip is so very good and unique that I find myself keep dipping the chips. This past Mother's Day we had lunch there with our son's family. The gesture of giving a rose to each lady is very nice and thoughtful. On the special Mother's Day menu they did not have beef enchiladas so I ordered Pescado Acajutla and my husband ordered Salmon Costeno. Both the tilapia and salmon were a little overcooked. However the sautéed vegetables and the fried plantain were very good. Service is always impeccable. My grandson knocked over a glass and a team came over immediately to wipe and clean. I didn't ask if I could order from the regular menu but it would be nice to have that option even on special occasions.

We have been there a few times (this is first review) and always enjoy it. Great food, good service and a nice place.

We went with a huge group for a business dinner and had a fun time. The service was perfect! The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was hopping.

We started with guacamole, she had taco briskets ( the beef was excellent. I had tres enchiladas-chicken verde, beef with sour cream and cheese with chili con carne. Excellent.

Dined tonight due to its proximity to the Westin, attentive service at the bar since they move a LOT of volume; however, other than the wine and chips and accoutrement, the salmon plate was over over cooked and tasteless, the veggies were ok, but the yucca sucked, just deep fried and dry, would not recommend and would not return...

Stumbled upon it at Domain and the food and service were great! Chicken chimichanga was everything I wanted and more. Mojitos were prepared well. Service was fast and courteous-great time!

Redfish is not on menu but a staple. It's heavenly! Its a worthwhile meal and full with veggies and lovely fish

Brunch. Omelet with chorizo was tasty and fluffy. Good Bloody Mary. Menu options are more than adequate. Sat outside, which was a bit noisier than I expected for a Sunday. Only a few blocks from the river. Delightful and attentive server.

OMG the shrimp and steak fajita's were out of this world. The Mexican Martini was exactly what I wanted and our server was super sweet

Great food & drink menu. Gluten free/dairy free friendly. The bean dip is addictive. Ceviche & plantain appetizers were tasty.

Gloria's at the Domain is one of those "safe bet" places if you are looking for Tex-Mex in a nice setting with lots of choices. I especially love the nicely shaded large patio area when the weather is nice, since during the crowded dinner hour the inside can get ridiculously noisy. Service is good and the food is OK (about average for upscale Tex-Mex places). Most recently I had the Carne Adobada and was disappointed, since it lacked the claimed juicy tenderness of braised-in-sauce meat, and the tomato sauce tasted like it came out of a can and had none of the rich chile flavor that I associate with adobada. It almost seemed like they had grilled a tough cut of meat and then dumped sauce over it, not long braised like carne adobada is supposed to be.

Incredible enchiladas verdes. The green sauce was amazing. Chips and salsa also outstanding. Bean dip for chips was the best. Service was also excellent.

The food was excellent! The black bean dip is amazing, and I loved the variety. The prices were reasonable, and the location was very attractive and well maintained.

We did very much enjoy our meal and I understand there is a big turnout for salsa dancing. The queso was excellent as well as just about every dish and I have tried many.

Food, drinks & service were great. We were there for a family birthday, by gran daughter ordered in Spanish (we are white) & also notified our waiter that it was her grandmas birthday. A nice cake arrived at the end of the meal. When the restaurant closes, it becomes a night club.

Had lunch here with coworkers a few days ago. Chips and salsa with bean dip was very good especially the bean dip. Most of my table had either beef, chicken or fish tacos. Everyone seemed to enjoy them (3). I had Gloria's Super Sampler which came with rice, black bean purée,1 tamale, sweet plantains, yuca fries(2) and 1 pupusa. Service was a bit hectic but there was 15 of us. They still did a great job. Never ending glass of tea. Give it a try. I'll be back

We were going out with my brother in law- He's a picky eater who likes chain restaurants and we're very adventurous diners. We all found something to suit our needs. We had a new server who was very helpful. The atmosphere is nice and drinks were decently priced.

Excellent food in fun filled party environment. Do not go for business meeting environment - as sound levels are not low. Can sit on quiet tables and have romantic dinner - I saw a few and met one great couple. Amazing and very hardworking wait staff - my group of 20 was serviced largely by one hard working woman and a few others just helped her by bringing food from the kitchen. Big screen TV, great choice of food, drink and deserts.

I've been to three different Gloria's now, I've been hoping that it will get better eventually but no luck. To keep it simple, location is great, service is really good for the type of restaurant but definitely lacks good food quality. From their pupusas to their cut of beefs this place is average at best.

Man, if you can get Tex-Mex AND Salvadoran Mex in one place, why would you go anywhere else? And the margs, man, forget it. Black beans and killer salsas, tender steaks and excellent service. It ain't a quiet scene, so get ready for that and you may encounter a wait or two, but man, it's worth it. Get in and get a drink.

Free chips & salsa. Great service from my server at the bar. Location easy to find on a main drag in the middle of the action. upscale atmosphere with prices to match. I had ordered the Tamales, which for me was something different than my normal choices @ these kind of restaurants. The food was good, and there was plenty of it.

I went on a bloody mary hunt in Austin. This place totally delivered one of those in my top 5 BM's during my stay!

A very large restaurant next to Macy’s at The Domain. Large selection of mostly Tex-Mex and Mexican dishes. The food was tasty. The service by Ashley very friendly and gracious, and the food came out really fast. The hostess that took us to our table, however, not friendly at all; barely acknowledged us. Get a seat next to the windows; the salon itself could use more lighting and better decor.

Our large group had a team dinner at Gloria's recently, and I was impressed with the entire experience. Even though there were 12 of us, the service was prompt and all of the selections were delicious! The noise was reasonable even though we did not have a private dining room.

The lunch selection offers many options with moderate prices, good portions and excellent service. We ordered couple appetizers and main dishes and my only complain is that few of them were really greasy but overall the food is tasty.

This was a place that we went for a business meeting. I wouldn't recommend it here because it was too loud and too dark. The food was ok I wouldn't say it was something you have to have. The service was very good and if it wasn't a business meeting it would have been a nice place to take a date.

Ate here straight from the airport so not very with it but the waiter was great with a good recommendation and friendly service. Would definitely eat here again

What is brunch? Is it lunch or breakfast? I don’t know and i don’t care. I usually eat breakfast pretty late or skip it altogether and eat lunch or some type of liquado de plátano. We did not feel like cooking on this day and the rainy, cold weather was enticing. We were curious to try the brunch menu here, had been for quite some time. We ordered two coffees y una mimosa de mango. I ordered the migas con salsa verde y pollo my partner ordered the skirt steak with two eggs over easy. The food came out and it was time for my tastebuds to take command. Mmmmmmmmm! Can I say taste-tastic? Yes, I will! Taste-tastic! The tomatillo salsa was perfect, sweet not salty at all. The fried corn tortilla strips were crispy until my last bite. My partner let me try a bite of the skirt steak. Wow!! Juicy, soft perfect protein to complement the eggs. I recommend this plate for those looking for a good, high protein meal. Remember, it’s always fun to share with a friend or partner. Try something new together;)

Just went for happy hour and I loved the frozen Margaritas and my friend enjoyed her martini with 3 olives. We had papusas with the sliced cabbage and they were delicious. The hot sauce was just the right amount of spicy.

Been here several times and what I love about this place is that it's pretty. Its happening. I love the location. You can people watch sitting outside on the patio or stay in with all the colors, water and cool bar scene. I love the hipness of the place. I like the bean dip that is served once you sit down even though I don't prefer beans along with their salsa which is thicker than usual almost ketchup consistency. Chips are thin and nice. I haven't had a non-tasty meal here. But is it the best thing ever, not really. But it doesn't keep me from not coming here with friends or work. This time was noteworthy because it was lunch. My friends got beautiful yummy looking ceviche tostadas and ceviche salad. I got their ceviche trio before and although it was good, it was just too citrusy for me but that's only me. Acidic tummy. I loved their carne asada steak when I got it last time. That was memorable. Ok back to this meal. It was odd. We had a nice chatty waiter very cordial but when I ordered the chimichanga he asked what nationality I was lol we had no idea where he was coming from with that. He proceeded to tell me about his gf who is my race that doesn't like cheese or fried food :) but I had to tell him I do and have had chimichanga before, multiple times so I knew they were heavy and fried but it appealed to me today. Out it came and it was good but the yellow cheese sauce reminded me of queso or nacho cheese sauce from a can. But it was good including the steak inside. I love their rice and guac. Anyways that was a bit odd, experience-wise but all in all it was another fun yummy time with my friends. Noteworthy is that the price is on the higher end than it's worth especially for lunch but still for the atmosphere and quality, it's passable. Won't be the last time we come here.

It's been a long time since I eat at this restaurant and the overall experience was very good! The waitress was attentive and friendly! The food was very good! The restaurant had a band playing at 11:00 p.m. and it was an okay band! The band took a 30 minute break every half hour!

Good food and atmosphere. Our waitress Alejandra was quick with our order Very attentive during our dinning experience.

Got together with some old friends for a reunion catch up at this location for dinner. Nice music and food - fish tacos were excellent. Service was ok. Dessert was ok as well.

This restaurant is located in the Dominion Mall in Austin, Texas. Gloria's in nestled is a five star area filled with various shops, boutiques and restaurants. My sister and I decided to treat ourselves after a day of business, the ambience and the food was simply incredible. The place was packed; the staff was courteous and charismatic. They are a Latin cuisine restaurant and I must say the food was perfection. The drinks were large, reasonably priced and very good. Some places you go, you pay a grip and get a sip, not here! Seating is very cozy and they have enough wait staff that your service is fast as well as courteous. You are seated at tables with crisp linen and there's a floor to ceiling waterfall that can be seen from every angle of the restaurant. Great place to take someone you want to impress. Treat yourself, you're worth it.

Stopped by for late drinks and sat at the bar. Bartender gave his top three cocktails and made us two of the three. Both were amazing, would definitely go back for drinks alone. Did not try the food, but everything coming out looked and smelled amazing

Im a regular, since they opened, an exotic Latin place, with background salsa music, even live music on weekends, good margaritas and excellent nachos ( highly recommend), good staff and a wide mix of Latin food, since Argentina to Mexico, a good time for sure!

A colleague and I ate here because it was close to our hotel and we were tired of eating at franchises. The space itself is nice, and suggests a level of cuisine that may leave diners moderately disappointed; which isn't to say the food is bad - it's just that the space looks higher end than the food is. This is Salvadorean and Mexican comfort food. Tasty, decent, reasonably priced. It's not particularly exciting, but I don't think that is the intent. You can have a good meal here without spending a lot of money. We had a very friendly server, though she wasn't particularly well-informed about the menu, and had some difficulty understanding the dietary restrictions of my dining companion. Overall, though, a good experience.

Went for work with a very large party. Had an issue with another restaurant and they fit us in on very short notice. The service was very prompt, the food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. I have absolutely no complaints about the restaurant and will be back.

Business lunch. Great food and service. Wasn't sure what to order and waitress picked out from lunch menu and was great selection.

If you want easy tex-mex you can't go wrong with Glorias. Good food and drinks, and reasonably priced. Happy hour is a great deal here.

Great place for drinks and food. Really friendly, accommodating and an ideal place to socialise with family and friends. Their frozen maragritas are a treat (and strong)!

We went there for pupusas. They were good but not exactly the same as the traditional Salvadoran pupusas. The restauran does not have a latin environment , really poor decore . Service was ok but not great .

First time in this restaurant. Food was good, reasonable prices and service, superb. Unfortunately, place was crowded and tables too close. We couldn’t hear each other so the only communication in our table was sign language. Next time we will try an outside table if weather permits.

We had a very nice meal in their patio, but not anywhere close to the best Mexican or Texmex to be had in Texas. Standard food choices. Portions are very generous.

I've been to several Gloria's restaurants (Austin and Dallas) and the food is consistently very good. The margaritas are wonderful!

This is a nice restaurant but don't go after 9PM! We arrived on Thursday at 9:30 and once we were seated we were told that we needed to order immediately because their kitchen was about to close. The food came before I was able to get back to the table after washing my hands. We asked to order a drink shortly before 10PM and were told no way as the bar had already been closed. The waiter really had a bad attitude about this and it seemed that the entire staff was operating with this MO. Finally - the music was SO incredibly loud that it was impossible to have a conversation (maybe in an attempt to push 'guests' out the door?).

We had been on the go all day long, and we were almost too tired to go out. I didn't want to get back in the car, and this was walking distance from our hotel. It was a little late for a big dinner, so my husband and I split a dinner. The steak was amazing. Our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly and didn't seem annoyed that we were splitting our dinner. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great.

Whenever we want to eat good food, we consider Gloria's, is a bit pricey but worth it. The flavors are good, the ambiance and great wait staff.

We had a great, great meal here. The Salvadoran cuisine was really tasty. I can't decide which part I liked most: pupusas, tamales (in a banana leaf), or the plantains. Would eat here again.

A great place to eat in the Domain. Beer and food were awesome. Chips and salsa were all you can eat. I had Chicken fajitas. 3rd time to Gloria's. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.

I had travelled for a few hours and needed to stop for some lunch. I had the ceviche tostados. Refreshing, tasty, light. Perfect. The service was efficient, friendly and not “in your face”. Just perfect.

We booked for 12 at this eatery for our Granddaughter's 21st Birthday lunch.. Everything went well, the waitress was outstanding. All the food came off at the same time - Excellent Flavors, very extensive menu and good prices.

Delicious food Great experience We met out of town family and in town family. We were given time to visit and served excellently by staff. We were given leisurely service at our request loved it!! Time to talk and laugh. Our food was perfection and we felt like we were at home (without the clean up) The patio was packed because the weather was delightful. Inside was pleasant -busy but it didn't "feel" crowded Gloria's is our "go to" restaurant for consistently wonderful food and atmosphere.

We met friends at Gloria's for dinner on a Saturday night. The chips and bean dip are great. However the mango margarita barely had any mango flavor and the fajitas were terribly bland. They had only chicken and onions not bell peppers which you usually find in fajitas. On top of that it was so loud in the restaurant that we had to shout to one another to be heard. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a meal in the domain, there are lots of other choices.

This is a great place to go out even though it is a bit noisy when you have hearing problems. The nachos were tasty and I love when restaurants realize that making them individually is so much better than a pile of chips with a glob of cheese on top. Another appetizer I recommend is the Trio Ceviche, great flavor to start off your meal. The steak was done exactly how I like it and the shrimp was not chewy with the Mar Y Tierra dish. The Plantain Frito was a good experience. The three people I was with all liked there meals although I did not sample any of them. Also the margaritas were very good. I don’t want to forget the service, Steven was on top of the game making sure we were taken care of but not being a nuisa

Came here with my customers per their suggestion. The place is very nice. Decoration is very beautiful, the food and service was amazing. I would recommend this place for lunch for a large group.

Our favorite seating is either on the patio (whether permitting) or in the front dining area near the water fall on a plate glass divider. They offer an excellent selection of Latin Cuisine; therefore most have some spices. Their lunch menu offer many Tex-Mex favorites; however, their Grilled Quail is one of our favorites. We have enjoyed meals there several times; although they have ample seating in the main dining area, it may be difficult to hear if you are with a large group. They provide chips with two salsas; one hot and one mild.

I'm aways a bit cautious, as a new Texas resident, with Latin food--much of the Tex-Mex variety is way too spicy for me--even when they swear it is not. We decided to try Gloria's when we were at the Domain. We hadn't even noticed it before (just beyond Macy's and next to Arhaus), but it looked cheerful. There was a large outdoor eating porch, but, based on other reviewers' comments, we decided to try inside. While I was prepared to be blown away by the interior, as others had been, it seemed more of a banquet hall type of large room with many tables and no dividers. The walls were nice and high, but there was also nothing to muffle the sounds--it was very loud. We were also prepared for excellent service, based on other reviews. While an unsmiling and un-outwardly friendly man did come to us quickly after we sat down, he also dashed away quickly before we had our questions answered. He also didn't appear to listen, as I had to ask for lemons for my iced tea several times, and he was not attentive to refilling it. So, although we found the ambiance to be similar to that of a lunchroom of a nicer sort, we poured through the menu. I had remembered one reviewer suggesting the combination platter, which I encouraged my husband to get (Combo 1, $14.99), as he was the more adventurous and more tolerant of spicy food. I decided to play it safe and ordered the spinach and chicken quesadilla ($13.99). While we waited we snacked on the much raved-about chips with bean dip and salsa. Everyone said to expect a warm basket of chips, but ours were not, and were just average--nothing to really encourage us to fill up on. The food did come in a reasonable amount of time, but the server was so non-communicative and in a hurry, that he was never available for questions or other requests. First, I have to say the the quesadilla was quite large, and possibly the best I've ever had anywhere! The spinach and just the right amount of cheese (not spicy) in addition to very tasty chicken was just perfect! I could only finish about half, and considered taking the other half home, but my husband decided he would finish it. His combo platter was large, and did have a wide variety of mostly Mexican dishes...he liked it, but I tasted it and was glad I had ordered what I did. The total bill with tea and lemonade, before tax or tip, was $34.48. For my part, my meal was superb, and I would definitely have it again. My husband said that his wasn't the best he's ever had, but said that it was good. The service was unfriendly and unhelpful, and the institutional type of room, tables, and seating was uninviting. I know the major rave about this place is the cheap margaritas or mojitos. We had neither, so I can't comment on that, other than it is a great way to get lots of people in after work. I would return for the quesadillas, but the other flavors were even more expensive, making for a pricy lunch, so we may not do it. Also, with such a large quesadilla, they only had about a dollop of guacamole and one of sour cream--even though I don't use much of either, it was definitely not enough for the whole quesadilla. We pretty much decided that the atmosphere and impersonal service were probably reasons we wouldn't return quickly. It was quite crowded, even though we went well after noon on a Saturday--and very, very loud.

Right across the street from the Westin Hotel at the Dain. This is a very large, popular dining site. A noisy and frenetic place—-mobbed on a Friday evening! Pretty classic Tex-Mex offerings. Food is tasty, adequately warm, generous portions. Salsa was, in my opinion, killer hot! Margueritas very good. This NOT a place for a business meeting, or romantic meal. Too noisy!

Three of us went and had three different salads. All were great - fresh and plentiful. Made for a good lunch next day. Server was friendly and very helpful. Good atmosphere. All entries looked good.

Visiting friends, couples group went there before play. Seated quickly, very friendly reception at the door. Lively atmosphere but not too noisy for my taste. Varied menu with many choices. I had the chicken fajita. Fork tender chicken, moist rice. Margarita was well blended, good amount of alcohol but small in size. Our server Ana was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. Food was hot and prepared well. No complaints here!

Food tastes pretty good but prices are not to match. A little over priced. Would not visit again. My sopa 7 mares was pretty much a shrimp soup.

My wife and I have been twice, once with another couple, and have been very pleased. On our most recent visit, we had the Tropical salad and the Tacos al Carbon. Both were very fresh and tasty. Good lunch hour wine special and tasty chips and salsa. Service very good. Only improvement I could suggest is wider range of salsas, and freshly made (though the black bean dip is yummy).

Gloria's is a very eclectic combination of Interior Mexican, Tex-Mex, and Salvadoran Cuisines. The servers were knowledgable, and attentive in spite of it being quite a busy Tuesday evening. I had the Gloria's enchiladas which were exquisite, well prepared, delicious almost isn't good enough a word to describe how much I enjoyed these. My dinner date for the evening went a bit more exotic than my personal tastes and enjoyed the roasted quail. He found it perfectly prepared, juicy and delcious. I have been to Gloria's brunches in the past and the volume of people does make it all feel a bit choatic, but it's a controlled chaos. The food has been consistently well prepared. This is a place I highly recommend. And, I look forward to dining here again.

We had passed this place on our daily walks. Decided to check it out on 3/17. Party of 4 had a great table outside. Service was excellent! Food was good (different).

I love ordering the plantains and any of the entrees. You won't be disappointed. Desserts can use a boost. One bad experience or just not so good was my friend who is vegetarian and got the vegetarian black bean soup to find chunks of chicken in it. =(

Great food and drinks - love their salsa although some people I travel with find it too hot?!?!? Very often when traveling with a group from work, we aren't organized enough to make a reservation, however Gloria's has always been able to accommodate us.

We asked the concierge at our hotel for somewhere that served good food that typified Austin and Gloria's was recommended. What a find. The food was sublime, from quesadillas to tacos, all the food we tried and shared was delicious. This should be on the list of restaurants for any traveller to Austin.

We stopped in for appetizers and drinks during happy hour...lucky to find a table and parking in the Domain sucks. But that's where the food grabs you...my wife is Honduran and just recently moved to the U.S. and was missing things they have here. Pupusas, plantains, beans--everything we sampled was great! And the setting inside is really pretty too. It's nice to find Latin food that isn't from a food truck.

We were visiting friends in Austin when they suggested a stroll around The Domaine and lunch at Gloria's. We were a group of seven that arrived without reservation very close to noon, but were seated with only a very short wait. Chips and salsa appeared on our table only moments after we sat and our drink orders were also taken in very short order. I had the Chicken Enchilada with Verde sauce and it may well be one of the best Enchiladas I've ever had. My wife had the large Tortilla soup but would have been perfectly satisfied with the smaller size. Our dining companions were also very satisfied with their selections as well. Service was excellent with drinks and chip bowls being refilled before we even had to ask. This was an excellent meal that I would highly recommend to anyone local or visiting from out of town.

Unfortunately we have noticed the quality of food at this location has been deteriorating over the past year. We had breakfast there recently and the food was either under-cooked, cold, or over-cooked. One person because ill afterwards that day as well. I hope the owners will re-evaluate this location and the cooking staff to improve their quality of food.

The food, drinks and service was excellent. Wonderful place to come to. Our server Tanya, was the best. We will be coming back again.

the food was great, service was quick portions were big and the price was pretty good also it was in a great location downtown

Food is excellent! For all tastes! They have spicy food for those who like it, but also food that is more "easy on the seasoning". One thing we missed was a "welcome to Gloria's" when we mentioned to the server it was our first time there... The server barely talked to us. But when we went there for the second time, different server, much more friendly!

Friday night. No wait. Seated on the patio, which was a little tight. The food was good, but the server kept missing a beat. Drink refills were a problem, and getting refills on the bean dip was a chore. In fact, the server didn't bring the bean dip until we were ready to leave. Mh fish tacos were good, and my companion's soup was good. Gloria's is in a great location, though parking can be an issue.

Large dining area and large bar. Huge social gathering opportunity. Loud and crowded. Their bar selection is quite imaginative, as is their menu. Have to say the chips and bean dip were excellent. But as foodies who were there with business associates, my wife and I were not blown away by the food. It was good, and portion sizes were quite sufficient, but the lack of seasoning did not appeal to us. Also, the loudness was not conducive to business conversations.

Traveled to austin to visit daughter for the weekend. Glorias is really nice....located on 6th street. Great Happy Hour prices....try the Sangria snd Th Swirl's. We had beef/chicken nachos. ...very good. I would go back.

Excellent food and choices. Very good service. Even during COVID, they were running a good, safe business. Highly recommend.

Gustavo and Gabriel served me on different days and they were both very friendly. Gustavo even stopped by the table on my second visit to say hello. Wow! I was impressed that he remembered me with all the people he must meet on a daily basis. The chicken/skirt steak fajitas were delicious. You may want to order your chimichanga with the queso sauce on the side, instead of drizzled on top so you can control how much is on your meal. Otherwise, everything was great!

We went to the Gloria Mexican Restaurant located in the Austin (Domain). We were quickly seated and our orders taken. We had the shrimp enchilada-creamy enchilada and carne.

I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere at Gloria's.Very tasty food, drinks and reasonable prices. Very friendly service. I was with a business colleage and we just kept talking-- the staff was closing down and they still didn't really push us out.

Celebration underway, we were thankful our unanticipated group of 20+ could be taken AND seated with little notice. Service was quick, efficient, and very pleasant. My salmon was over cooked but tasty; the plantains and black beans on the side were good; and the guacamole was just what the doctor ordered. A 5-rating would be for the service and efficiency but the food for Austin (ok, it is a chain) a 3 ... so the visit averaged a 4. With so many outstanding restaurants in Austin, this will likely not be a place I’ll return to for its gastronomics.

Had a very good lunch of tostadas and chili rellenos. Tostadas were crunchy, not soggy. Relleno was very good, but not battered if that is what you are used to. Iced tea was very refreshing but margaritas are delicious too. Service was good. Chips and salsa were great and the black bean dip that comes with the salsa is so good!

Met some friends for drinks and wound up having dinner. The dining atmosphere is very nice and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and I asked what his favorite item was and he share it was the Shrimp Tacos. I ordered them and the three (3) shrimp tacos were loaded with flavor and definitely filled me up and hit the spot. Due to COVID-19, it felt like the menu was somewhat limited but still decent. Living in San Antonio, I'll definitely be back to this location to try some of the other menu items to introduce other friends to Gloria's.

We were seated promptly. Waiter—-Jesus R— took our drink orders literally as we were sitting down. 10-12 minutes later tea appeared. He asked if we needed more time with the menu……I said yes 2-3 more minutes. 15 minutes later my husband flagged down an employee who happened to be the manager, he asked if we needed something and my husband replied, yes we need to order. He was on spot…..took our orders, no pad or tablet, repeating it back dead on. About that time our waiter appeared with a startled look. Manager came back and refilled all 4 empty tea glasses (August in Texas). After that we were well taken care of because both of the, continued to check on us as if a competition. Food, average.

All being in corporate America all day long the one thing that I can look forward to is going to my spot of relaxation which would be this spot. The staffing is personable and friendly but my two favorite would be Jackie & Daphne those two are for sure to make your day a whole lot better... The food is on point and the Margaritass are for sure to have you feeling them..

Had a pretty good dinner here with some coworkers while on a business trip. Being used to traditional Mexican food, Tex-Mex food is usually pretty hard for me to get used to. It usually ends up just tasting bland to me, but the food here was pretty good. The sangria swirl margarita and jalapeno margarita were pretty huge hits with my coworkers. Only complaint would be that there were not a great number of vegetarian options listed on the menu, but the server was very accommodating with helping me find a couple of options.

I have eaten at Gloria's in Dallas, Fort Worth, Las Colinas, and Austin. Food is always consistently great.

OMG!!! This place is great. We came to do some shopping in the area and decided to eat here for dinner. The service was great very attentive staff and our food came out before we could put a dent in the chips and salsa. The food was soooooo good, I can't wait to go back!!

This restaurant is near The Shake Shack and Macy's parking lot. What a delightful place - both the cuisine and the service. There were 3 of us - chicken enchiladas, chili relleno with beef fajita meat and carne asada were our choices. Delicious. We also had yellow gueso and it wasn't anything to rave about at all but everything else was. Will be back!

The margaritas are only $6 during the week and boy do they go down smooth. Super good! The tacos were amazing too. Highly recommend.

My husband and I came here for dinner one evening and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, the presentation of our food was fantastic, and our food was delicious! We really like the warm beans that were served with the tortilla chips. That’s uncommon, but a very pleasant surprise. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful as well, and we look forward to returning soon!

We have now been to Gloria’s a few times. Pros: High quality food especially for the price Busy active vibe Excellent service Excellent wine, beer cocktail options Cons: it’s loud (we like it) but it’s not a quiet romantic place Wine was priced too high 3-4X store prices, where a double would be an expected mark up. Had a great Dinner at Gloria's
Some colleagues and myself decided to try Gloria's for dinner while at a business seminar in Austin. I was pleasantly surprised. The menu selection was great, it was more than just a Tex Mex place. The service was fantastic, people were always checking on you to make sure you had everything you needed and they re-filled water, drinks, etc. very timely. Each person in my group had a completely different dinner item and everyone enjoyed their food. It came out quickly and was prepared well. I will definitely visit Gloria's again when I am in Austin.
