Great Food and Service

By Steve C |

First, park at the parking structure on Carlisle. They will validate your ticket once you finish your meal. Arrived with two friends. They greeted me in Spanish. I ordered the enchiladas a la Gloria ($14.99) with a Gloria's skinny margarita ($9). It was pretty good since each of the three enchiladas had a different sauce on it. However, the margarita is a bit small for the $9 price tag. Ask about their happy hour drink specials. They play salsa, merengue, and bachata music the entire day which is pretty cool. Enjoy!

Great atmosphere and good food

By Michael S |

Had never been here so tried it out last time in town. The atmosphere is great with outside dining if you like. The bean dip they brought out with the chips is fantastic. The fajitas are ok but the brisket tacos are really good. Lots of good menus choices. Overall I enjoyed my time there and will certainly go back.

If you like microwaved Mexican Food

By Doll33 |

Last time I went there, the food was luke-warm and everything tasted like it was out of a can and microwaved. When we asked the waiter to send the food to get warmed up to the kitchen (not a big deal), the manager showed up at our table, acted extremely patronizing and told us that she could not refund our dinner (we didn't even ask!). The whole experience, from food to service, was not good. I haven't been back since.

Lovely Food

By slm84 |

This was not only my first experience at Gloria's, but also of this type of cuisine. Being from England, I haven't had any experience of eating south American food. The waiters were very good and patient at explaining what things were on the menu and were very good at making suggestions. The food was lovely, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the staff friendly.

Excellent bean dip

By momzilla-6 |

Stopped in here for a snack and drinks later in the evening. Margaritas and sangria were very good. The complimentary chips came with a good salsa and a bean dip that was outstanding. Nice appetizers. We did not have any entrees but what was served around us looked good. Parking is available in the rear.

No disappointments at Gloria's.

By MichelleHawthorne |

Gloria's never disappoints. The food and service are always excellent. This is a nice location with a small outdoor patio and there is complimentary valet parking. Food portions are very generous as well.

Latin variety

By Durwood N |

The choices here are very good. We sampled the Tex-Mex, Salvadoran, and Mexican and each choice was well-prepared and tasty. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The service, on the other hand, was poor. Not only as my order not delivered but also the staff was inattentive. I doubt we will return.

Fight Club

By usraven |

We have frequented many Gloria's restaurants from San Antonio to Dallas. Never have we been so disappointed in the slow service or the girl fight from two minority women in the ladies room. On the particularly beautiful day, we met our children for supper at Gloria's on 3223 Lemmon Ave, Dallas. The restaurant was crowded, and outside tables were full. Servers were few and service was slower than other locations, but the food was ok! Upon completion of our meal, my wife went to wash her hands as she was about to leave, two minority women entered verbally attacking one another in each others faces! My daughter, went to check on her mother after several minutes and she heard the verbal arguement. Upon entering the two women stopped and my wife exited. The women continued their argument and staff heard the argument as we left the restaurant, never to return!!!

Business Lunch @ Gloria's

By shawray50 |

The wait staff was very accommodating to keep me satisfied until my lunch guest arrived. The atmosphere was serene and comfortable even with other guest present the place was not noisy. The food was very good!

Outstanding Service

By Benjamin C |

This restaurant has a unique and refreshing selection of Latin food. The service is outstanding as is the food. This location has a beautiful wrap around patio with amazing. The seafood tastes very fresh with little aftertaste. There strawberry mojito is one of the best around. Overall Glroias is must if you are looking for a laid back place with outstanding customer service and a unique version of Latin food.

Nice place with large portions

By pickygirl09 |

Delicious chips, salsa and black bean dip was provided as soon as we took our seats. We were here for lunch on a Sunday and arrived around 12:30. There was plenty of seating available. The wait staff was very attentive to our group and immediately refilled everything when things were running low. As if we didn't already have enough to eat with our chips, we ordered cheese queso which was perfectly seasoned. The burrito dinner was huge as was the order of shrimp enchiladas. Both were large enough to share. However, I cannot recommend the fish tacos, as the fish (tilapia?) was somewhat pronounced. Overall, a nice atmosphere, easy parking in the garage next door, reasonably priced, and tasty enough food. We did not order any alcoholic drinks.

Excellent food & beautiful restaurant

By Newlywed952010 |

I've only ever come here for lunch, but each time I've thoroughly enjoyed the food--especially the bean dip that comes with the chips. Lunch today was no exception. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. This location is one of the newer Gloria's restaurants (although it's been open a few years), so the decor is a little more modern and (for the most part) looks beautiful. The booth did show some signs of wear and tear that ought to be addressed. I find this restaurant to be more relaxing than the other one on Lemmon in Dallas or the Fort Worth location. The prices have noticeably gone up over the past few years, but the slightly limited lunch menu is still a little cheaper than the dinner one.

Birthday party disaster

By Erica J |

Came for a birthday party and because of an accident on the highway most of the party was sitting in said traffic. At 7:15 the manager came over to the two of us that finally arrived and told us in the most demeaning manner that the table would be given away in 10 minutes no matter what traffic issues we had. At 7:20 they gave our tables away when we had people at the door. The manager has zero customer service. I will not come back.

Mismanagement

By Kimberly T |

We were there for a friend's birthday celebration. The food came and the waiter asked if everything thing was alright. Our friend had the spinach quesadilla and she only ate one. The chicken was dry. She let yhe waiter know st the end of the meal that she didn't like the meal so the waiter got the manager. The manager promptly told her that she had the opportunity to send the food back at the beginning of the meal but now she had to pay for it. She didn't want to because she didn't enjoy it. Manager said if she wasn't going to pay for it then she had to leave. I come from the school of thought that the customer is always right. It didn't matter when she said she didn't like her meal for the point to be valid. The manager escalated a situation and missed several opportunities to make it right. It was my first visit there and I'd heard a lot of great things but the manager has missed out on my return business.

First timer and it was good

By Roger O |

We were taken to Gloria's for a business dinner and it was great. Service was good, service was fast, and the menu was extensive. I had the garlic shrimp but the guy across from me had the enchiladas and they looked really good. Both people to my left and right ordered a steak. Everything was good. It was a good place for families, couples, or business people.

Excellent weekend brunch

By SophieTosca |

Gloria's has a number of locations in the DFW area. We had an excellent Saturday brunch at the pleasant Uptown location at 3223 Lemmon Avenue, Dallas. The eggs with fried plantain and sour cream were excellent. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available.

POOR DELIVERY SERVICE WHEN SYED IS ON DUTY

By LaToria R |

Very poor quality of service with Syed manager. Do not place a delivery order as they did not seal my bag/order. They claim the Door Dash driver had my beverage which he did not provide, however they failed to seal my bag of 2 entrees and chips. When I expressed my concern, he held the phone and said that they do not deliver and to contact Door Dash. Hmmm… you use DoorDash per your website as a 3rd party to deliver but your reason for not sealing my bag was because YOU don’t deliver?? Wow. Great service Syed! I will NEVER order delivery from you guys again and we, along with my friends and colleagues, ordered quite often.

Nice Lunch

By LadyTraveler333 |

Stopped in for lunch. Was promptly greeted, seated and waited on. My server suggested ordering a bottle of wine when I ordered a glass since Sunday-Wednesday are half price bottle days. Bonus! I ordered carne asada mid rare and they were prepared perfectly. The plate was sizzling when it arrived. My server Rey was attentive, the atmosphere pleasent and food very good. My remaining lunch and wine were wrapped and provided me with an in room dinner! I recommend Gloria's as a nice break from standard Tex-Mex dining when in Dallas. They have a very well rounded Latin food menu.

Gigantic portions, average quality

By Travellover6128 |

As with many Texas establishments the portions are huge and the prices very reasonable. We all enjoyed the bean dip, which they serve with chips to start. I chose the trio of enchiladas which were quite bland and very over salted. Would go back but would try different dishes.

Okay food and service

By Tom C |

We visited with another couple and their two children plus another person, which made for diverse consumption. Generally we enjoyed out meals. Relleno was good, carne slavatex good. First time visit for me but this is a favorite of the family with us. Place was busy and noisy, which made conversation difficult.

Disappointingly Average

By Live2traveldaworld |

My colleagues described this place as an institution and I expected it to be fantastic. From the ceviche to tacos it was just average. In fact the ceviche wasn’t even good and we didn’t even eat it. The salsa is better than average and the black bean dip is good but they did not have anything to spice it up other than bottled hot sauce. I had the brisket tacos and they tasted like pot roast from a crockpot. Dry and greasy with absolutely zero spice or flavor to them. They came with a green tomatillo sauce which also had no flavor. Maybe I should’ve stuck with the Latin side of the menu and avoid the Tex-Mex side.

Great TexMex/Mexican restaurant

By Fady A |

The ceviche is very good for appetizer and the enchiladas are definitely my favorite main course. Food comes out quickly and it is a good place for a quick lunch.

Saturday's nights Place to be!!!

By Theresa S |

Great food!!! Service a little slow but every seat was filled. Somewhat loud but great food with a bar-like atmosphere.

Great meal

By NW748 |

I ordered my meal through Uber eats and it was delicious! You never know with delivery how the food will arrive but they did a great job in ensuring the food came fresh and that things stayed separated well so as not to ruin any of the other items, and it also came with a generous portion of chips, salsa and bean dip which was delicious. I ordered combo #1 with a beef taco (good), chicken enchilada(good), beef fajita taco (not what I was expecting because it was just meat in a tortilla, but the meat inside of there was so amazingly flavorful that it was my favorite item of the combo), queso (really good) and rice and beans (both of which were good and the rice was surprisingly good as it is only a white rice). I would recommend this place to someone looking for a tasty meal.

Great experience, great value & wonderful service!

Scammers

Someone used my bank card at Gloria’s #13. Be very careful if you go there. I was 3 states away when this happened

Great Food

By Clara's Girl |

First time at this location and they didn't disappoint. Due to covid, I order curbside and the lady was extremely nice and the food was prepared and packaged perfectly. Definitely, would go back to this location.

Delish

By simwbwlp2013 |

The pork quesadillas were delish and the guava magarita was the best! Was a strong drink. They have happy hour all day from Sunday and Monday! The waiter was great as well, good service and checked on us during the meal.

Eh, nothing special

By hhurey |

We met some friends here for breakfast/brunch after having it recommended. I was very disappointed after reading the reviews of the other locations. We were seated right away, had chips and salsa on the table and water delivered. The cushions used for the back were overstuffed and make it uncomfortable to sit at the table. I found the portions to be small. I had two eggs with a tortilla, black beans, fried plantains, and fruit. I got two small pieces of plantains and a small pile of beans. My mom never had her fruit delivered with her omelet. My brother had a breakfast burrito as did two other people at the table. All three of them commented that the description did not include peppers and onions being included, but they were in there. I would not make a point to go back.

Really the best burrito every had

By NC eye doctor |

Really the best burrito I have ever had - felt comfortable eating there during Covid - staff followed protocol

Mimosa Heaven

By Enjoyinglifethroughadventure |

They have a delicious pomegranate mimosa and the Tex-Mex combination dinners are excellent! The servers are very accommodating and the atmosphere is great when they open the window walls.

***Oh So Good***

By Piper |

We travel 40 minutes to the Gloria's off Lemmon bypassing our local Gloria's in Arlington. At the Lemmon location, the food is always fresh and hot. Drinks are always cold and oh so very good! The atmosphere is quiet, clean and family friendly.

1st Visit but not last

By life108 |

When I asked about Vegan options, the waiter stated let me get you a Vegan menu. There was something for everyone and everyone was very pleased with there food. The vegan tacos were amazing. Atmosphere was very nice.

Nice Lunch

By Jerome G |

My wife and I stopped here late one afternoon for lunch. Their lunch menu was still in effect so we both ordered from it. Thank goodness we did. We consumed all of the delicious complementary chips, salsa and bean dip while we waited for our entrees. The beef Chimichanga was the best we ever had and the beef Chili Relleno was also delicious. The only way to improve on the Chimi was to deep fry it .... however that did not stop me from eating every bite. This is definitely a place for Tex Mex food.

Ate there 2 days ago

By Mary Alice M |

Great chili rellano with beans and rice is great. Had a group of 8 people. We had drinks and chips with salsa, bean dip and queso.

Favorite Tex Mex in the U.S.

By j_dido12 |

Best margaritas, chips, and salsa in Dallas! I always pick Gloria’s over Mi Cocina, Taco Diner, and Uncle Julio’s. Food quality is high. Great place for brunch, happy hour, or dinner.

Great mimosa, and brunch

By TamikaNOTG |

Gloria's Latin Cuisine was a very nice brunch place. Staff was very friendly. The food tasted very authentic, and they had a wide variety of options. The mimosas were a hit for me. Would definitely visit the next time in in Dallas.

Mexican in Name Only

By ptk_from_dy |

Gloria’s is like a restaurant chain. Safe and average. Meaning for those like to think that they are eating Mexican food will not encounter spices that are too strong or food that is made from authentic ingredients. Gloria’s tastes like prepackaged or mass produced sauces and ingredients. On an upside the presentation was good. But the taste and the quality is average. We were taken by our host and left disappointed. Service was average too.
