Two words.....VERY GOOD...... Even left with a dozen warm bagels.... Now the bad: The parking is horrid in front of the store, but there is another area just a few steps South. Breakfast time can be a bit challenging. I'm a grump and we were fine. People watching extraordinaire.

Super good sandwiches and bagels. I always get the loxs and bagel plate. I would frequent more often if they would get at least beer in.

Where else in the Bible Belt are you going to find a Pastrami on Rye that reminds you of NYC

I have come hear for years and they get it at goldbergs friendly great food right price They are always very service oriented. If u have not visited u don't know what u are missing. Try the fresh white fish awesome

The pastrami has to be the winner amongst all the offerings on the menu, topped off with the pickles in help-yourself jars on the table. Mmm, my mouth's watering just thinking about it!

The Dunwoody Goldberg's use to be one of the best run Goldberg Deli, but after their long time manager Ecrument left the Deli has gone way down hill. Every time we go to the Deli their are new employees. It appears that the DeIi has trouble keeping staff. Their are only a few servers left from the past..Prices have risen and quality and service has slipped.Too bad as this use to be a weekly stop for us.

I didn't go to the restaurant so I can';t comment on the atmosphere. We ordered sandwich and fruit platters. The fruit platter was very nice. Fresh and a good selection. The sandwiches were another story. The sandwiches had very generous portions of meat, so no complaints there. I had the roast beef and it was so incredibly bland. Well cooked, but no seasoning at all. Obviously one can put salt and pepper but roast beef is better when seasoned while cooking. What was really bad was the bread. I wouldn't send my kids to school with a sandwich with bread that bad. It was not stale, but it was very thin and fell apart as you tried to held it. Bread is THE staple for a deli. Don't know what's going on here.

Go on off times. Goldbergs is a favorite with locals and it gets crowded. The bagels are fresh and made there daily. They have a limited veggie menu but everyone should be able to find something they enjoy.

Whitefish spread with bagel chips, onion and tomato slices really hit the spot. Delish! Great food and great service. Definitely worth the drive to Dunwoody.

We stopped at the airport location and were immediately greeted by this years' friendliest employee. She was a pleasant surprise and not only cheerful, but helpful- she kept the line moving smoothly and even cleaned up a spilled fruit cup with a smile! The bagels and coffee were far better than the overpriced cup we got the day before with the WRONG bagel, stale and never toasted from Starbucks. Goldbergs should train the Starbucks workers where they pride themselves in piercings, tattoos and odd hair.

The bagel was 'ok' but was as flavorful as a frozen one. The eggs in a breakfast sandwich were charred and the service was a mess. When you're expecting something deli-like and get training-the-cook diner food, it's very disappointing.

Ive eaten here before and its always great service. The food is delicious also. I usually get breakfast and sometimes brunch or lunch. I also like the fact that the service is quick. I highly recommend this place for breakfast brunch or lunch!

I had vegetarian sandwich and added cheese for an extra dollar; my son had ham & Swiss. Both were simple, fresh, and pretty tasty.

I love having this Goldberg's location in the Dunwoody neighborhood. This is about as close to a true NY style diner as you're going to get in Atlanta. On the weekends, get ready for a lengthy wait unless you get here early or getting your food to go. Weekday waits are much more reasonable but this place is rarely empty for breakfast brunch and lunch. If you are grabbing food to go, do be sure to also check out their freezer box for frozen pot pies, casseroles, and other easy family sized meals (with easy oven or reheat instructions). My favorites on the menu include (of course) the bagels (lots of fun flavors) with their wide selection of flavored cream cheeses. I also love their corned beef hash and their latkes (comes with cream cheese or apple sauce). There are a ton of other options on the menu but I rarely stray from my favorites here. A Dunwoody staple, serving comfort food for sure.

One of many return visits to this local multi store chain. This is a non-kosher Jewish style deli. There is a large menu from soups. sandwiches and and plates. This is one of the few places that serve a tongue sandwich. The food is very good and they sell excellent bagels with goodies on both sides. There is a selection of prepared foods and salads for takeout. Breakfast is also available. The service is attentive. Expect a short wait at meal times and Sunday morning. They are not open for dinner closing at 3pm. Highly recommend and will return. Hope this helps.

On our way out of Avalon on Sunday morning, we thought we would grab a few bagels and get on the road. We ordered four bagels with cream cheese. We had to wind through a bunch of customers waiting around. The guy behind the deli counter took our order and when I went to pay he said ‘oh you pay where you get coffee’. Odd. So I got our warm bagels and then had to wait in a different line ten more minutes to pay for them. Lame. There were two ladies behind the coffee counter and finally one asked what I needed. I told her I had to pay for the bagels. She said ‘oh, she’s using the register right now, so it will be just a minute’. Apparently there is only on register for the whole place. Lame. If you want my money, make it easy for me to give it to you otherwise I won’t come back even though the bagels were good.

Had dinner at Goldberg's last night I had the French dip, husband had the California Reuben, my daughter had a patty melt, and granddaughter had Challa French toast (they serve breakfast all day). All of our meals were yummy, but, above and beyond the food, the service was EXCELLENT! Dominique was our server and she was super! Our every need was attended to and she was very helpful in answering several questions we had about the menu. To me, a great server can make a meal even better. We will definitely return to Goldberg's.

I am obsessed with this place. The bagels are good, the atmosphere is standard Deli and the people watching is fantastic!

When in Atlanta, I love coming to Goldbergs. The food is wonderful, the portions large, the prices fair, and everything tastes great. Since I'm from out of town, I usually go to enjoy the meal and catch up with old friends. There is an energetic vibe but not so overwhelming that you can't have a good conversation. And the staff is attentive without rushing you. This visit our server frequently refreshed the water for our tea and made us feel welcome, even as we lingered.

had a a great meal though they seem to be under staffed for Mother's Day the food was excellent as always

As a former New a Yorker, i had a craving for a pastrami on rye with a potato knish, so I stopped by today hoping to satisfy my longing. I have to say I am sorely disappointed. Pastrami was cold, pale, fatty and pretty tasteless. Rye bread was not soft nor did it taste fresh. Side of slaw was sweet, but dry. I needed to add mayo to give it some moisture. Potato knish also a disappointment. Obviously heated in the microwave because the ends were so hard I couldn't eat it. Not worth the $20 I paid for this sad meal.

My daughter and son-in-law live in this area. They have two boys (ages 3 and 2 months). We were greeted at the door by the Maitre D and a waiter who knew my kids/grandkids. They played with the grandkids...and had a table waiting for us. My eldest grandson was fed first...we all followed. The food was fabulous, service was impeccable, and the experience was invigorating. I would certainly come back and even visit the other Goldberg Restaurants in the Atlanta area.

Our shift goes here regularly for breakfast and we always love it. The food is great, lots of options (healthy too), made with fresh ingredients. The service is awesome as well. I have only done breakfast but I will try lunch/dinner soon.

Fun place to eat before a Braves game! We came back after the game to take rugelach home for breakfast. Speedy and friendly service.

The bagels here are definitely fresh - in fact they're still warm when you get them. They taste good, but there isn't anything about them that sets them apart from other bagel shops. If I wanted a bagel and was near a Goldberg's I'd stop in, but I wouldn't go out of my way just to go there. A good choice for bagels if you're in the mood.

This is a great place to eat friendly clean courteous food is the best chicken soup Jewish penicillin is great corned beef to die for service wonderful danish cheese the best I go there every chance I get to Atlanta you can’t go wrong it is a must if you like deli style food

I have probably been here about 15 times. The one thing about Goldbergs is it is very consistent. Although the Bagels are not the best in the world for the Atlanta area they are pretty good. If you decide to dine in the waitstaff is great and the food is good and well proportioned. I can usually come here and get a good fix for my Jewish food cravings. There are a few locations in the Atlanta area. When you walk in there is a deli take away area on one side of the building and a restaurant on the other side. I recommend it if anything to get a good pastrami on rye or to take in a good matzoh ball soup.

Their bagels and cheese are made daily in house. The kids loved the blueberry bagle with strawberry cheese!

I think they should put more salmon in the bagel. The employees are very nice and I like the coffee there! I always have a great time going there!

Visiting Atlanta for a youth theatre concert and my daughter got sick. Walked in shortly before this restaurant closed and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Ordered chicken soup to go for my daughter, then went back the next night for dinner. Mark and his team were awesome! We had chicken soup again and toasted bagels and cream cheese! Yum!! Leaving to go home tomorrow and will head back to Goldbergs for breakfast. A must stop!

I have been frequenting Goldbergs for over 30 years but not any more...A few days ago I ordered a turkey on rye with Swiss, a staple for any deli and Goldbergs really missed the mark..the portion was pitiful, it was dry, and the rye bread was not fresh...unfortunately I am DONE with Goldbergs...not happy about it..

Highly recommend them. Great taste and great selection. Very good location and very nice staff!! Enjoy!!

We were in the area and this restaurant was close to our hotel so we decided to stop. We were seated right away. I decided on the French dip and it was a huge sandwich which I decided right away that I could not finish it so I took half of it home. Service was prompt. Parking is limited in the front but there is a turnover with many people coming in for a carry out.

As a relocated NYer I find myself longing for deli. Well, this fit the bill. I had a corned beef and swiss sandwich and matzo ball soup. I swear I closed my eyes and was back in Brooklyn. The aroma alone can take you there. Highly recommend, just wish there was one in Douglas or Carroll county.

We walked to Goldberg’s yesterday and decided to sit down inside. We ordered 2 bagels with cream cheese. It took 30 minutes and the bagel was not toasted. It was delicious but we were not updated or told of a long wait.

There are many Goldbergs Bagel locations in Atlanta, but the one in Dunwoody is the best one. Ecrument Yenilmez, store manager is very personable and knows all of the regular customers. He works the dining room, back counter, cash register and even has been known to be in the kitchen He makes it happen!.We use to go to the Roswell Road location, but the manager so called owner Howard is abrasive and can rude, so we switched to the Dunwoody location 3 years ago The bagels are terrific and all deli items very good. This is the best Atlanta has to offer in regards to a Jewish style deli.We have used Goldbergs catering and Linda the catering manager is wonderful to work with.

Goldberg's Deli is a locally owned restaurant, run by a family. It's a favorite breakfast and lunch spot for out family, and almost everyone else we know in Atlanta. They have two locations, with one right off of Interstate 75 at West Paces Ferry Road. So if you are driving thru Atlanta, and feel like Lox for breakfast, or want a Pastrami or Ruben Sandwich, this is your spot. There is always a bit of a wait for a table at lunch (10-15 minutes) unless you get there before 11:45an or after 1:15pm. If you are by yourself, there is counter you can sit at, and you can usually come in and sit at the counter with no wait. The staff are wonderful and there is very little turnover. Nice to see the same friendly faces! Hope to see you there.

Always good. Relaxing. Comfortable and wonderful food. Great for breakfast. LUnch is even better. Overstuffed sandwiches. And those great bread and butter pickles!

How difficult is it to toast a bagel? We went to Goldberg's at the Atlanta airport. We ordered two bagels with cream cheese. My husband wanted his extra crispy so the cashier told the baker to run his bagel through the toaster twice. But that's not how they were served to us. The bagels were slightly warm, stale and tasteless. Shame on Goldberg's for not caring to sell a better product.

This Goldberg Deli location makes fresh sandwiches with authentic ingredients. It is well worth the visit.

I had a corn beef sandwich on Rye, New York stack, New York stack is not that large, Rye bread was so-so, corn beef was very good , french fries came out hot the second time, my friend had the Georgia Ruben, turkey was very good, same comment about the Ryebread, so so. Our server Sherry was very very good

Good food, quick and easy. We normally go there for a quick business lunch and the staff has always been friendly. We've gotten in and out without any problems and all the meals come correctly, or they fix them without hesitation. They are very clean and I would not hesitate to recommend them for lunch to anyone. The dining is all in one room and close together so it's slightly loud, but they can't help that, they are restricted by the amount of room they have. It's a good buy~!

If you miss good deli food on either coast, this will disappoint. However, it is one of the only options in Atlanta. Prefer the bagels at Bagelicious in Cobb County, which is a drive. The nova is not bad. Egg salad is not good. White fish so so. Ok for an occasional meal.

Ok to be fair i ate here twice before writing this review. The prices are insane. No real breakfast combos everything is separate and everthing has a price tag. From a piece of cheese to peppers or onions. I ordered nova eggs benedict...it was just ok. Not enough salmon for what i paid for and my hollandaise was gritty. Next day i ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken lacked seasoning and the waffle was dense, dry, and crumbly. Two cups of syrup couldn't help that waffle. Honestly i hate to say this but go to waffle house or ihop. Overrated and overpriced.

I felt like a late breakfast and I only know of Goldbergs as a deli and bagel shop, a great one but something I associate with a treat. I decided to pop in because I was driving right by it. I had no idea they served eggs and offered other bread options. How great it is to satisfy a last minute craving by surprise. Oh and service was quick for take-out.

No idea why Starbucks bothers to be in the same shopping area. Great atmosphere, staff, food. Packed with locals.

We had the breakfast bagel sandwich. They didn't put very much eggs and bacon on it but it tasted good anyway (don't be so stingy next time). The blueberry muffin was rich and awesome. They have a computerized coke dispenser that worked out great. The service was fast and friendly.

Always have loved coming here but this morning I learned of all the gluten free options which brought a huge smile to my youngest daughter's face. She has missed bagels terribly since she was told not to eat gluten. They always find a way to please from friendly staff to most importantly delicious food. With many locations now it does have a bit of a corporate feel but don't let that fool you it's still so yummy.

The original Goldbergs all shiny and new, with NY style deli products from sable to tongue, really good latkes, very fresh bread and of course - delicious bagels.

Another visit and they are consistent with their food. I go to this non kosher NY style deli for the bagel which have the goodies on both sides. One of a few places that I can get a tongue sandwich, Read my privious review for more details. Recommend and will return. Hope this helps.

Been going here for years. Consistently great with fresh made bagels, friendly service and good prices. It is our go to place for breakfast out!

We stop here whenever we can, usually for breakfast. The service is always friendly and prompt - and the food is great. Very much a "local" feel to the place. Usually try something different everytime and have never been disappointed. They never seem to rush you so it's a nice place to catch-up with a firend.

Bagels are great. Other breakfast items very average and overpriced.

One of several venues of this small Atlanta chain. Non kosher NY style deli with excellent bagels with the goodies on both sides. Service and ambiance are pleasant. Had to send my tongue sandwich back as it came made of small pieces instead of slices. Replaced without any hesitancy. All other food was up to par. Recommend. Hope this helps.

The Scene: Grabbing breakfast on-the-cheap prior to heading to the mall for some shopping. The Experience: Wanted a bagel for breakfast and it was ho-hum. Got in, ordered my jalapeno cheddar bagel, got out. Gotta love being able to get food quickly. Ended up eating it while I was traveling. Usually I don't have an issue being able to finish a bagel, but for this one, I did. Didn't even finish. I found the bagel to be harder and tougher than others I've had. The tougher chew meant that I wasn't in as much of a hurry to eat. The Verdict: The bagel was still pretty good, it was just going to be a battle to eat it. I've been to other places in the Atlanta area for bagels and have had better experiences. Not sure if I'll come back to give this place a second chance.

It's hard to come buy a genuine deli style eatery in this part of the country but this place really sort of speaks NY. Gotta try the Pastrami on Rye.

I just so enjoy going to Goldberg's for my bagels, salt rolls and corned beef sandwiches! They also have some wonderful frozen dinners I treat myself to. So glad to have them here, and wish they would come out a little west. But I will travel if I must!.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to visit and have tea. This was a great place. Quiet to talk but great tea and bagel sandwiches. We just happened on this place but will go back to try more of their bagels and different kinds of cream cheese.

Great choices on this menu from soup to desserts. Casual friendly and good deli food. I ordered the tuna salad appetizer with bagel chips and a Dr Browns black cherry soda. My husband ordered the corn beef sandwich on rye and it was a delightful sandwich. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Nice easy laid back atmosphere.

No matter what your "flavor" of bagel, this is a must visit place, or any of their restaurants in the Atlanta area. I've visited most all of them and none has ever let me down. Complete freshness with all food, hefty portions, and a must have are the lox. Highly recommend any of their outlets, this one just happens to be my favorite. Check them out for lunch, a real treat!!!

This restaurant is so special to our family for our breakfast gatherings over the years. Awesome food and a great ambiance and great service! We are blessed to have a location in Dunwoody!

We come down from the Athens area on the weekends! This is the second weekend we have had Jennifer for a server, she is so friendly and helpful!

Great Jewish deli! Awesome bagel sandwich and phenomenal potato knish. The sour pickles were fabulous. You've got to go!

Server very courteous and prompt food came out quickly Great location near my daughter's house Had breakfast sandwich to go yesterday on the way to ga game Very tasty. Hit the spot Just me and my wife Good variety of food that I usually don't have Ga won against s Carolina. So I am in a good mood my daughter and son in law live close by. They come here often and recommended you to us

This is one of the best New York style large sandwich shops here in Atlanta. The food is all made fresh along with the best bagels in the city. You can look and see everything being made right in front of you. The awesome smells of fresh baked bread is wavering all down the street. It is always busy but the wait staff is interesting and make the wait go by fast with them having fun. All the food here is good and fairly priced. The place is a little hard to find in the shopping center but just follow the smell of fresh baked bread.

Great service and wonderful deli. The portions are more than ample and very tasty. This is a very popular place and deserves a visit.

The food at Goldbergs is somewhat better than average, according to what you get (sandwiches are very good), but it is truly ludicrously overpriced for what it is. Plus their health inspection rating is consistently poor (and difficult to find it posted in the restaurant). Current rating of 85 is among the best they have had; in the past is has often been in the low to mid 70s. It is surprising they do not address this.

Great food always try to go there when I'm in town . Fast service Great atmosphere. They have a variety on the menu. Breakfast u can get anytime. Also the staff is friendly.

I have always enjoyed the food at Goldbergs. It's a bit expensive but worth the price. This visit didn't disappoint. I had the scrambled eggs with lox and onions, and it was delicious. The bagel and fruit were also good. Our waitress was friendly but my only complaint is that she could have been a bit more attentive. We had to ask for things such as refills on drinks

My friends and I visited Goldbergs for breakfast and it was delicious. The bagels were so good. My friends also loved their potato latke. I will definitely be returning for another delicious meal!

I live Goldberg bagels and the food is always really nice! They do literally the best bagels in the Atlanta area. Just a mainstay place to go...

From challah French toast to a soft salami stacked sandwich, all your deli favorites are here. My wife loves the Nova on a bagel, my daughter digs the house made pimento cheese and bagel chips. Full range of deli salads available by the scoop. Check 'em out. (The table tent tells me they also do catering and order online). There is a rush about 10:30ish on Sundays, but they work through the line efficiently. The coffee is great also!

This is good if you like Deli style food. Large helpings and a wide variety of food. Service is great and accommodating!

Partially stuffed from Thanksgiving, I came here with my brother and sister-in-law and my family, so seven altogether. Goldbergs is a chain, and this location was uninspiring from the outside. Inside is a different matter. It's very lively and the aromas make you want to get your order quickly. Many locals apparently eat here regularly. Despite the crowd, we managed to get a table quickly since there was plenty of room. The food server was in great spirits, too. Eating in the South rarely disappoints in that regard. Our orders took a little longer than we'd like, but then it was Sunday morning. We selected a wide variety of food--bagels, pancakes, omelettes, bacon, fruit, etc. I had a cheese and spinach omelette that was excellent, nice and fluffy and a cholesterol nightmare -- but then so was Thanksgiving. My daughter gave me some of her bacon and it was lean and cooked perfectly, not brittle and tortured like many places. I must have been the taster for the table because I managed some pancakes as well. A nice surprise was the fruit. Normally, funding decent melon in October anywhere other than a 5-star hotel is next to impossible. The fresh fruit served tasted like it came from a local market that morning. Everything was great and the location convenient.

We got bagels to go. There is a system but no one tells you what it is. You order, pay, and then they bring your order to the register. We were also supposed to pick our cream cheese out ourselves for plain, but they got the veggie.

It can be noisy when busy but we tried to get into several places that Sunday morning for breakfast and Goldbergs accommodated our large party very easily. The food was delicious the service was friendly, fast, and able to handle all the young children we had in our party .We had a great time there with our family and will return .The bagels and nova platter was delicious.

I have been dining at Goldbergs for several years. I often pick up bagels on Saturday mornings after shopping at the nearby Kroger. The Jalapeno Cheddar bagels are my favorite, but please be warned that they are spicy! Goldbergs also has a great selection of lunch items, and it is a good place to meet friends for lunch. The sandwiches and soups are all excellent, and I have never had a bad meal at the deli.

I was looking for an authentic jewish deli like Katz in New York and I was led to believe that this was the closet thing Atlanta had to offer. So me and my wife drove to Goldberg's hoping it would be at least comparable and were completely dissapointed in the quality of the food. My Roast beef sandwich was cold and contained no condiments, just meat and bread. The meat was dry and not seasoned at all. I do not believe they even cure there meat. This sandwhich was 13.00 but I should have gotten it for free. My wife had the corned beef sandwich and it was lukewarm and completely bland as well. This was a once in a lifetime trip that I wil never take again.

This is my favorite deli in Atlanta. Their bagels are wonderful, and the staff is always pleasant and friendly.

Overall a solid place to eat. It is as close to a Northeast U.S. deli that you can get. Not everything is amazing but most food here is very good.

I absolutely love this place. When my girlfriend comes into town, this is always a must-have. Tip: call ahead and order on the phone - it gets busy and the lox is just as fantastic from your couch!

The summer special is a good deal and tasty to go treat for lunch When dining in I am a regular with the chicken noodle Soup and the brisket quesadillas The deli is good As well you won't leave hungry

Good Deli and omelettes. My girlfriend likes the Matzobrei. We eat lunch here often and brunch on Sundays.

todays lunch was the second time i have been here for lunch. the last time a year ago i had the cabbage roll lunch special, and it was too sweet for my taste. this time however, i had a soup and half a sandwich(ham on rye and a cup of mushroom barley soup. it was very goood. there were 6 of us for lunch and everyone liked their meal.we had to wait about 20 minutes but it was worth it. nice waiter staff, pretty quick service. i rate it B+ they did nit have white fish. the waiter said it was frozen(?). they were a little slow on telling us this which delayed 2,of thr lunches by 5 minutes or so.

The staff always treats us like regulars. So nice to see familiar faces every time we go. Food is consistent and always good and served hot and fresh. I wish the prices were more affordable.

Tracey, the General Manger, at this location, should give other managers classes on customer service. I recently called in a delivery order from another state. Not only were my friends not home when the order was delivered, but Tracey personally delivered that order herself on her way home that evening! Throughout the day, while we figured it out, she remained friendly and helpful. When the platters were finally delivered, they were gratefully accepted and I was told how fabulous everything was. Goldberg's, and certainly it's management team, went above and beyond that day. I would highly recommend them any day of the week!!!

This place is awesome. If you miss real deli style food, corn beef on rye, Bagels and lox, or any other style deli food from your past. This is the place to go. It can get crowded on weekends and you will wait in line for a table. The food is fresh, large and very tasty. I wish I did not have to travel to eat there, meaning I wish I had one where I live and I would be there every day. I am so glad I was introduced to this restaurant and I'll be there again in a few months eating hot pastrami on rye with a large kosher pickle and oh yea a black white cookie and cream soda. Awesome place. Go eat there. Hope this helps. David

Came in on Easter for brunch. Food was delicious and the service was great!! Wasn't too crowded as it sometimes is, so we were seated right away.

This is a great neighborhood deli. We went on a Saturday morning around 9 a.m. The place is hopping. We got a nice table in the corner and our server came over immediately. I had the homemade blintzes and they were fantastic. Friends had bagels, omelets and sandwiches and they were delicious. It's a pretty big menu with lots of nice choices. The atmosphere is pretty kitschy. The owner seemed to know everyone who walked through the door--very warm feeling. I would definitely come back here.

This is a fantastic bagel and is made even better wiith cinnamon cream cheese. Super friendly staff.

I love to get bagels here...

I paid 8.95 for a Hot Pastrami on rye to go. They put a big sloppy slice of pickle on top of the bread so the bread was soggy. The Pastrami was dry, tough and tasteless. Either they put the meat in the microwave to heat or on a grill. The only way it should be heated is steamed. until hot and tender. The meat was not stacked on the bread like they do up north. It was truly a terrible sandwich. Potato salad was OK. A good deli pickle should be made from small cucumbers that are solid and not full of seeds. This one was mushy and full of seeds. These guys don't have a clue as to what good deli is all about.

Goldbergs is a longtime family favorite for dine in or takeout. Great New York style deli food. Staff is wonderful and friendly. Many menu choices. Small area to eat outside. We get bagels here every week.

This chain is a great spot to take visiting friends and family. They have lots of choices and many classic NY deli offerings. One warning, quality varies at each Goldberg's based on managers and staff. West Paces Ferry is always outstanding, Dunwoody is the next most dependable. East Cobb is on and off, more off than on lately, and Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, which is next to their corporate office is the worst. Obviously having the owner as General Manager has its downside. We were in there Saturday and the floor was unbelievable. There were puddles of Coke, pieces of fruit and the floor behind the counter was horrific.

Was looking for a new brunch spot while in Atlanta, and happened upon this place. It was really busy when we got there; however they had plenty of staff and were able to get our food to us fast. The food was really good (I had the French toast breakfast sandwich), and there were plenty of choices on the menu. They have a lot of to go options too- deli sandwiches, bagels, pastries, etc. Definitely somewhere I’d recommend and that I’d visit again!

Food pretty good. Service sub par. I went there the other day and got some spoiled egg salad. Tuna replacement was great

Business lunch was disappointing. Waited 40 minutes for lunch order. Food was ok but far from memorable. Might have been an off day. Goldberg's was one time Atlanta's deli. Hope it regains it back.

I love their mushroom and barley soup. I tried making my own from a recipe I found on the internet, but it just wasn't as good. I buy it there by the quart and take it home. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches and other foods I've had there.

Best bagels and very good breakfast in the area. Get the bagels to go or eat breakfast inside or outside covered. Also good for lunch, but very popular and thus very busy. I grabbed a raisin bagel and coffee to go to avoid the crowd, but have waited and eaten in several times over the years. Busy, busy place

Wonderful food and service.the prices are reasonable and there numerous locations. The bagels are always fresh and I really enjoy the lox and creamchese. Ilike the condiments used. I enjoy the pickles and red onions used when I get the bagel and lox. That is my favorite bagel.

Goldberg's is a neighborhood gem. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We both ordered an egg breakfast with choice of meat, side (latke or fruit), and bagel. When the food arrived, the portions were large and everything was cooked as ordered (e.g., eggs well-done). The bagel was well above average and we were very pleased with our meal. Highly recommend.

Had the egg salad with a bagel. It was yummy!! Everything was fresh. Service was great. WIshed I had tried the desserts. Looked fabulous. It was crowded but we were in and out on time

Great breakfast for dinner experience. Super chill. If you're looking for a quiet spot to grab a coffee with friends during true evening. Goldberg's is perfect for a quick bite. Warm atmosphere & welcoming staff. :)

In the south, sometimes it is difficult to find real bagels. Well, look no more. We tried several varieties in a baker's dozen and they were ALL good. The pumpernickel was our favorite. GREAT cream cheese too!

A Long Island Jewish boy in Atlanta, GA should LOVE Goldbergs. I don't. I'm sorry. If you were to compare the sandwiches that arrive at your table, with the PICTURES of the sandwiches that are on the wall, then you understand my consternation over Goldbergs. I've tried the corned beef on rye at least a dozen times. Sometimes I go just to kid myself that I'm back on L.I. enjoying a real NY sandwich. Unfortunately, I am less inclined to go anymore. They need to do better, but they won't, because business is good as a mediocre stab at NY style deil.

I've yet to eat a meal there, but pick up bagels weekly...They are easily the best bagels in the city...Every time I walk into the restaurant, it is very busy, which tells me they are doing something very right...I will try it soon, however, I wish that they were open for dinner.

I have eaten here no less than a dozen times...great breakfast and excellent deli sandwiches...never been disappointed..

Goldbergs is my Sat afternoon after golf Favorite The chicken noodle soup is fresh and hot My son gets the reuben or a burger Always tasty

Always end up here with family in town, seems hectic, but good food. Sometimes a tad overpriced. Too bad there isn't a patio.

this is a nice restaurant. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The Ruben is so good. The staff was very nice. Service was quick and food was hot.

Reminds me of a deli in Detroit! Great bagels & lox super coffee (when my wife isn't there to limit my intake). Super staff! Parking can be a hassle at rush time.

I think the wait staff is better than the food. They are always upbeat and happy. The food is OK and sometimes that is just what you want or need. Every meal does not have to be special.

Pretty good for down here.

I have been a customer for over 20 years. Recently, I am finding routine overcharges and arbritrary surcharges. The listed menu prices are not the prices that you will be charged. The last few times I have been to Goldbergs, I have been overcharged, the food has been inedible, at least one person's order was wrong and I am not sure that the restaurant is clean. It was a good 20 year run but I will not be back.

Goldberg 's bagel Company and deli is fantastic place for bagels. I had the everything bagel with cream cheese toasted. It was scrumptious. My friend had the everything bagel with the chive cream cheese. He was very impressed.. It was his first time. We ate outside this time but have often eaten inside. It is such a reliable place. I highly recommend it.

Ordered the chicken noodle soup with a large matzo ball. Very tasty, plentiful and it hit the spot! I always order the tuna salad appetizer with bagel chips. A perfect lunch with family and friends. Friendly service and consistent. It's always on our places to eat list when we visit Atlanta.

I had the white fish salad on a poppyseed bagel.I though I was in New York City. The bagel was fresh.

While visiting family they were excited to indulge me in the best bagels-yuk! I had everything bagels on two different days and they were extremely hard like a rock, & barely any seeds on top and none on bottom. It was difficult to ID it as an everything bagel. I have had better frozen bagels! Went for breakfast and the bagel for my egg and cheese was as described, the egg was cooked to rubber dry and the cheese was hard and dry. I could not eat this dry dry dry hard sandwich. Einstein’s and Brooklyn Bagel are hands down tons better.

Great bagels, great sandwiches!

Had coffee and bagel this morning. Service very friendly and prompt. Interior is clean and looks good. Nice atmosphere. Coffee was not as good as Starbucks but still good bagel better than Starbucks. Have a nice menu for breakfast. Also appears they have some very good sandwiches.

Ample food and a most impressive variety kosher style deli. I am in awe at the choice. You definitely won't go hungry!

My wife and I went to Goldbergs for the first time not long ago for lunch and I have to admit it was pretty good. The food was good and the service was exceptional, overall definitely worth a try.

I could not resist a bagel. Great spot to get one. I had a jalapeno cheddar with cream cheese. They did not hold back on the cream cheese like most places would. I'll stop in again.

Portions are oversize so order carefully. Tasty food in ample quantities. Good and Attentive staff at all time.

Our Monday morning prayer group meets at Goldberg's -- always consistent quality and courteous staff -- we have been going for years and they know our quirks!! Great neighborhood meeting ground!

Super friendly staff, busy sunday morning, but didnt take long to get food...which was delicious! could eat there 3 meals a day!!

This is no New York deli - but the best solid Jewish deli in Atlanta. The traditional options are available as well as some surprisingly good salad options that do not require another statin! The deserts are an overall weakness . Service is solid but not necessarily enthusiastic.

Full menu of good deli foods. Bagels are large and a bit bread but crusts are delicious. Gets very busy sundays but take out is available.

The food and service are both great here. They have good sweet tea. You can do take out or eat in and they now deliver. They close early afternoon. Only breakfast and lunch. Burgers are great. Everything bagels are really good. They have really good homemade pimento cheese in to go containers. Great deli food.

This was our first visit to Goldbergs, Kristen was very please my and helpful guiding us through the large menu. The warm neighborhood feel made my wife an I feel right at home (we just moved to this area from Nashville). We will be returning! There are so many items we want to try on the menu.

I love this place a lot and love getting bagels to put in the freezer to have in a month or so. The people are very nice and helpful.

A little bit of the north down here!! Some bagels, salt rolls, corned beef, and wonderful frozen dinners to pick up for those unexpected times

A true New York deli experience! Sandwiches are authentic. But also make sure you leave with a dozen bagels. Best in the ATL!

I love onion bagels and these have to be the best. They are really fresh and loaded with onions. My friends had different bagels and they all agreed they were great. Service was excellent.

this is my favorite deli- in atlanta- really enjoy the platter with chopped liver lox whitefish- miss having more jewish style style deli's in atlanta ga- near me- make a special trip to eat at this one!!!

Best Reuben I have found in Atlanta. Been here a couple times for lunch. Gets packed during prime lunch time. Established in 1972 so doing something right

They served very delicious food and special menus exclusive this in this resto. Might be long wait before you can eat but definitely worth the wait. Very affordable and good ambience!

solid breakfast food. whenever i order 2 scrambled eggs, they give me 3. very cool.

We stayed at the Onmi Hotel for the weekend. We had both breakfasts here. It was crowded so the service was not fast but I won't complain. The food was good and the waiter we had both days was friendly.

I love the bagels here and especially the mushroom soup served with a variety of bagel chips! I usually pair it with a grilled cheese on rye. You get a lot of food for your money. Don't forget to try the lemon cake at the register when you pay!

Great food, as always. Bagels rock! Go early on weekends, the line is wicked long right now. Bbbbbbb

Food is excellent. Authentic Jewish cuisine. Real New York deli style food. Service is great. Prices very good. Brought back a lot of memories from New York. Recommend this place for real good deli style food or an excellent bagel and lots of different types of cream cheese. You won't go hungry and you won't be disappointed. David g. Hope this helps.

There are not a lot of good places to get that NY deli feel in Atlanta and especially none in Alpharetta. This just opened and have been twice to get a reuben. It is ok, not the best I have had, but the best I have had in Alpharetta, beggers can't be choosers..... The service was slow, but I am going to chalk that up to it being new and getting kinks worked out and finding their groove....
Good food, always busy!
The only downside of this restaurant is the parking/location. It is always busy but the service is really good inside the restaurant. A little expensive for breakfast food, but the experience is always great!
