Grana is grand

By 1marathonmom |

I can’t say enough about the pizza dough! It is totally the best pizza I’ve had in the longest time. The pizza itself was so flavorful. The restaurant is clean and staff friendly. We are visiting out of town and just landed here and it was the best option. Please try if you can. We also tried the meatballs and broccolini both excellent as well. Grana is 5/5!

Perfect Italian evening!

Beyond! You do not want to miss Grana! We had an impromptu last minute dinner with family who flew in. Looked for Italian in Atlanta. We are NY Italians so we are picky. Grana did not disappoint. We had an amazing dinner with fantastic Spritz drinks topped off with cheesecake and cannolis. We had the Burrata toast, chicken cutlets, meatballs, gnocchi, whipped ricotta and rigatoni. Each one was phenomenal. Great atmosphere and service. We’ll be back.

Very good food!

We stopped in and sat outside and upstairs. We had great weather. The service was very friendly and efficient. We ordered several appetizers, pizzas, and dishes. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, the service, and the food. I'll be back.

Wow. Food was outstanding, service fantastic. Will definitely come again. Best Italian food I've had in years. Caesar salad was outstanding and chicken was fantastic. Valet parking available.

I’m a fan…but…

Please call an exterminator. I love the food and the service here, but last night was too much. We were put in a 4 top in the back corner of the 1st fl dining room, which is next to where the garbage is placed. During dinner, we saw no less than 3 large roaches crawling on an up the walls in this area, and one got close to our table. Not great. I know this can and will happen in any restaurant, but it just killed the vibe. I hope they get this under control because this is one of our favorite spots, which I’m unfortunately turned off by right now

AMAZING!! WOW DELICIOUS FOOD

I lived for many years in Italy, and always struggled finding GOOD Italian food in Atlanta. Until Grana and I came across.... I had low expectations given the fact that i'm usually disappointed by all this "Italian Restaurants" but was I surprised with the food at this place. I felt for a second that I was back in italy. I recommend 100/10.

Very Loud anWd Pizzas Need Editing

By ATLconsultant |

Finally tried this place out. We sat on the rooftop deck for dinner. The food is good but could be better. The pizzas need editing. Seems like there were preserves or honey on almost every pizza. I've been to Italy several times. I've seen honey used with balsamic there but never on a pizza. It detracted from the taste. We all said this. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fire oven and the taste is just like Italy. The crust is very much Italy as well. Overall pizza was good but could have been great with editing. Service was outstanding. Managers floating everywhere and helping servers out. All employees said "hello" to us and were uber friendly. Biggest issue for us: this place felt UBER casual but prices didn't reflect. There were multiple TVs on the patio and the music was turned up to '7'. We could barely hold a conversation up there. We had 2 personal pizzas, 3 beers, and one small cocktail and total was $75 plus tip. That's fine if the atmosphere would match that level of sophistication. Here it did not. Crowd was mostly late 20's to late 30's. We were mid to late 40s and were obviously NOT the target audience. If you like really loud vibrant scene with $$$ pizza, try this place out. I probably would have liked it in my 20's -- if i had the money to afford it back then. haha

Great food and great prices

By Brandon G |

Must try meatball flight. Homemade pasta dishes. Wood fire Neopolitan pizza. Can't ask for much more here. All very reasonably priced. Can't remember the last time we've gone out and ordered an app, entrees, and drinks all for just over 100 bucks. Never been to Italy but I would think this is very comparable to the real deal. Food was excellent. Needs to be rated (way) higher than #1000 in Atlanta

Next level Braised Pork

Meatball flights!!! Braised pork!!! Fresh pasta!!!! Does that sound good? It is- get in on this action. Not a bad thing on the menu. We will be back!!

Good food served in a rush

By Dave C |

The food was fine but as stated by the waiter, restaurant policy is to deliver the food as it is prepared. This meant all the food: antipasti, primi, second arrived simultaneously, which resulted in dining on cold eggplant Parmigiano after eating our appetizer and salads. Service was fine, not overly hovering but there is a very good reason courses are served consecutively. Patrons should be given the opportunity to enjoy the food at the proper temperature and not rushed. I'm hoping this method of serving does not start a trend.

Good food, poor service

By Marian R |

The environment was comfortable and inviting. The food was good. However, the wait staff was not attentive. Constantly looking for server to get water or ask a question. Food was served at different times for a group of 3.

Great fresh pasta

By PAUL D |

We dined at Grana last week and were excited to try a new Italian restaurant. We loved the freshly made pasta and the prosciutto arancini appetizer. Our server, Brett, was excited to talk about the chef's food and how much he enjoyed working there. He also showed us the beautiful dining and bar area on the roof. Great views of Buckhead.

Fun place with great food

By Roberta5261 |

We had a great time here! Visited friends from Atlanta and they brought us here. The food was outstanding! Service was very good. Eggplant Parmesan is a great main dish. The only downside is that all of our entrees (4 of us) came out at different times with about 15 minutes from the first(mine) to the last(my husbands). Lively environment with lots of folks really enjoying themselves.

An Absolute Must!

By Mike Ross |

Grana was absolutely fantastic from the food and wine to the service and everything in between! The best authentic Italian food I have had since traveling to Italy years ago was at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very welcoming and family oriented. Flavio provided very in-depth and first hand knowledge of each dish and made recommendations based on information we gave him. His service was just as impressive as each dish we had! We will be returning here very soon and can’t wait to try more of the menu. If you haven’t made it here for dinner, you need to change that ASAP! Thank you all for an amazing night out and some of the best food around!
