Great Sunday Brunch

By jettingjh |

I arrived at 11 am - the restaurant opens at 10 for brunch but it was still very quiet so I was quickly seated on the patio. They have a large menu and my server told me everything is freshly made to order so I could order ‘off menu’ or make substitutions to menu dishes. Luckily the brunch menu is only one page so not too many decisions to be made but still a tough call. I finally settled on eggs and hash browns which came with wheat toast. The bread was really tasty, eggs well cooked - hash browns really good but just a little salty for me. I definitely had brunch envy when I saw other people’s food going by and I’m going to try the lemon poppy seed pancakes next time - they looked so good!

Good Food

I Enjoyed Eating Here The Enchiladas Were Very Good So Was The Service the Desserts Are Ok Not As Good As they Look

Hope for the best but got the (well you know the rest...)

By Alvin S |

I heard so many great things about the Grand Lux Cafe prior to visit. Im sure most people are not as critical as I am so I take all recommendations at face value. I prefer to lead with the positive. My waitress was amazing! That is all. Upon entering Grand Luxe Cafe, I requested a booth. When advise my table was ready not only was I presented a table that was not a booth but i could not help but notice all the tables that were left uncleaned as well as the slick floor that was a hazard. I advised the hostess; again, that I specifically requested a booth. I was told "there are no booths clean at this time". So i asked could one be cleaned and was told " well, we only have one bust boy tonight". Now in my head i'm thinking " what does that have to do with me?".I took the table non the less. The BBQ salmon was ordered. No flavor, smothered in BBQ sauce that was also bland. The presentation left little to be desired. For this restaurant to be located in Phipps plaza with such a large footprint, it better step its game up. There should be some attention paid to Upper management.

A great meal !

By Minklehole |

The server was absolutely awesome. The food was ok at best. Chicken quesadilla for appetizer was bland and no black beans? Turkey burger was not good. The bread was cold. The sweet potato fries were awesome. The wine was awesome. Price “no way Jose”

The wait is over

Great new edition to the Atlanta food scene. Customer service was great ! Can’t wait to go back. The bake to order desert was a real treat.

Excellent Food, but the waiter

By Nerissa Golden |

A lovely space to dine with friends and family or to have a business meeting. The food options are great for meat lovers or vegans. The only downer was our waiter who was very snarky and tardy in returning with orders considering the restaurant was not even at half capacity.

Disappointed!!

By Vacaywarrior |

We came for a birthday brunch and boy were we disappointed. First they were out of waffles stating “ the batter was sticky”. Then someone wanted short rib Benedict. Well they were out of that as well and then they had enough for one more. When it came out there was a tablespoon of meat!! We called for the manager who apologized and comp the meal. My omelet only had an ounce of cheese. The waiter wasn’t familiar with the menu. The only thing going for Grand Lux today was the peach Bellini. I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because I’ve been here for lunch before and it was decent. Grand Luxe is off our list. There are to many great restaurants in ATL to settle for one that is inconsistent.

Great Brunch!

I visited this location twice during my stay in Atlanta. Neither visit disappointed! They have the best Peach Bellini. Their Belgian waffles and beignets were a hit, as well! It’s definitely my go-to every time I’m in Atlanta.

Horrible experience at the bar

By Sandip S |

I would like to start by saying, while living and traveling to NY this was a favorite spot to eat. We went to the location at Roosevelt Field on long island and never had an issue. On the rare occasion my wife and I was able to enjoy happy hour. We went to Grand Lux Cafe at Phipps Plaza on 9/25/18. We decided to sit in the bar area, we arrived at 5:45 pm. Upon seating ourselves at a top table, it was 10 minutes before being greeted. Then the waiter brought bread to the table and we didn't have plates nor silverware. I asked the waiter for silverware thinking he would also bring bread plates too but nope. He just brought the silverware. We noticed a nats/fruit flies in the area but thought nothing of it. Once our food arrived, the nats/fruit flies just got worse. We advised the waiter of our issue and his response was, Yes, we have a bad issue in the bar area. Isn't that a health code violation? The waiter then advised he will get the manager. At this point there was a dead nat on fries, picture below, and just felt like my skin was crawling. The manager came over and offered to replace the fries, I was/am completely unsatisfied with the service and experience. Below is a picture of the dead nat on my fries.

A solid bet for brunch or dinner

By BirdingFreak |

Pleasantly surprised. Attentive service, a wide choice of beverages and foods, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. We had beers and dinner salads, which were generously portioned though a little bit heavy on the chopped lettuce; could have benefitted from more of the toppings. Dressing on the side came in a small sauciere; a wise choice. We’ll be back!

Grand Lux Cafe Buckhead

By shealysabrina |

When you come to Atlanta you must go to Grand Lux Cafe in Buckhead. It’s very cozy and the STAFF is SUPERB and The FOOD is DELICIOUS and last but not least it is very clean even the restrooms are clean. I find that uncommon at a lot of restaurants you must keep your restrooms clean. I give Grand Lux Cafe in Buckhead 💯.

Good food

By lawilliams2 |

The atmosphere was nice, the food was good. It was a little pricey, but it was worth it. The key lime pie was a bit to sweet for me, but otherwise, I would recommend. Everyone enjoyed their food in our party.

Grand Lux Cafe at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta is a great place to go for delicious food that is well prepared in a cool and relaxed atmosphere. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need to have the best meal.

Finally Here

By Queen Wilson |

We have been waiting for ATL to add Grand Lux Cafe to this beautiful city. They never disappoint customer service is always great the food is always great. They are the sister restaurant to The Cheesecake Factory, but we prefer Grand. Whenever we come the 1st thing we order are the chocolate chip pecan cookies made to order they are the best. Give them a try they will not disappoint.

Great place, horrible management

By Roderick Richardson |

As a world traveler and renown food blogger in the US, I often look for different locations to patronize. This location was suggested by some local friends. At the onset, it reminds me of a Cheese Cake Factory. The menu presents variety, but not overwhelming. We had an array of dishes including but not limited to the Grand Calamari. It was delicious. The Asian egg rolls were just okay. I ordered a T-bone steak which was overdone. I called my server and accentuated my problem. The manager brought the steak back and said this is okay. The audacity of management, to bring a dish back to the table and suggest that the steak was cooked properly, was unprofessional, out of line, and reprehensible. He agreed it was well done around the edges. Managers, like this one, are not properly trained. Everyone at the table was dumbfounded at the experience. I reordered a ribeye and it was just okay. It was dry and bland. The manager could have at least removed the steak from my ticket but his training didn’t warrant it. Our sever Tiana saved the day. Her smile and interaction with guest was first rate. It warranted her a $50 tip. I’ll give this place another try, but definitely, that manager needs more training or needs to be removed from management.

I love Grand Lux, but this location...

By msmichiganpeach |

As a lover of Grand Lux Chicago, I was so excited for my favorite restaurant to be in Atlanta. After all, it should be the same, right?!? Wrong! The menu is the same, but the experience and food quality was not. I suppose I'm slightly biased because of my expectations and prior experiences. If you have never visited a Grand Lux Cafe, you may be delighted! The food was just OK. Not spectacular. The drinks and desserts were still good, though our beignets were overcooked and awfully brown. As you see in the pictures, the presentation was lacking, as well. The Bourbon Smash cocktail will definitely bring me back. The covered patio area is also a plus. Valet park, and you can be validated, so the cost is $3. Take my review of this place with a grain of salt. I am TOTALLY comparing it to the Michigan Avenue, Chicago location. But I expect franchises to have the same quality. Wherever I go, a Big Mac should taste like a Big Mac, right??

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food! We were promptly greeted and seated. This was my first visit while the others in my party had been before on multiple occasions. I had the seafood salad which was stunningly beautiful and great!

This restaurant is amazing they just opened but the service and food was out of this world the prices are very Reasonable and the portions are big and if you have room for dessert they make it frush for you i would recommend this to anyone to try it was an experience worth the money I will definitely return there

Will Eat Here Again

By mflower275 |

My daughter and I stopped here for brunch and it was about a 15 minute wait before we were seated. Wasnt too bad. However, when we where called to our table, the line was long so I recommend you getting there before 2pm. Parking was free and a bit more of a struggle because we arrived later. Upon sitting, I noticed food in the floor. I understand they are rushing to get people seated (because I was starving) but come on. We ordered chicken and waffles which was very good. They serve the butter and syrup mixed together so dont hesitate to ask for just syrup on the side. The waiter got lost a few times and we needed the assistance of others but he was respectful nonetheless. They were all friendly and helpful. I had a sangria which was very tasty too. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. The menu is rich with various options. Prices vary depending on the dish. I paid about $48 for our meal which was on the cheaper side. The ambiance was comfortable. Lighting was dim and the air was chilly.

Buckhead dinner

By MissyKelly |

We ordered carry out dinner one weekend evening. We decided on salads with a brownie for dessert. Both salads were different yet equally delicious. What’s nice about this place is the shared parking lot with Phipps Plaza mall.

Good atmosphere and food

By KrysKlear |

I wanted something small and ordered the soup of the day, which was cream mushroom chicken soup. It was delicious! The people I was with had soup and salad and they also enjoyed it. I am a bread person (yummm) and I must say the bread was good as well. The best experience was the customer service and the chocolate chip cookies.

Disappointed

By JamesC4166UB |

Ate here while attending a meeting in Buckhead. I like Cheesecake Factory, so was anxious to try this other brand. Ate there on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant wasn't busy. Service was slow. Waited about 30-35 minutes on my dinner. Ordered a filet steak and brown rice. When it arrived ~30-35 minutes after ordering, the brown rice was definitely not completely cooked. It was crunchy. It was my impression that they may have cooked it in the microwave. And this was perhaps the only time that I've ever had a filet that had gristle on it. Overall very disappointing experience. I won't be trying this restaurant again.

An upscale Cheesecake Factory

By Ntrekker |

From the creators of Cheesecake Factory this upscale restaurant is a great addition to the beautiful Phipps Plaza Mall. The menu is very creative and delicious and the service excellent. My server suggested the bento box of grilled salmon which came with a soup and a salad. Of course there was the freshly baked bread basket. I will return.

Just ok

By Maria G |

I had an 11:30 reservation and they kept us waiting for 10 minutes before they opened the doors. I had the Pasta Carbonara. It was huge but tasteless. I guess I should have believed the menu " a Touch of Garlic and a Parmesan Cream Sauce" because that's all there was. I was at a business meeting so I could not ask for more. The Cesar salad was delicious and large. The Deep Dark Fudge Cake with lots of Fudgy Chocolate Frosting for dessert was also large and good. The complimentary bread was just ok. I had wanted the beignets, I had before and was disappointed to find out that I had to order them with my entree. reservation and they kept us

Outstanding cuisine and Service

By Joel R |

Visiting from the mid West, family members suggested Grand Lux for brunch. First time in the area, and was impressed from the start. Greeted by friendly staff, Service is top notch. Excellent breakfast. Loved the Pot Roast. Excited for a return visit.

Salmon Piccata is heaven

By homeaway12 |

Finally got to visit. The food is awesome. We had the creamy spinach and cheese dip, calamari, and salmon piccata. Everything tasted wonderful. The waiter was super busy with tables so we had a bit of a wait for some of our requests. If you want to order the beignets there is about a 20min wait for them so order to early during your meal. Overall we had a great experience and I will definitely visit again.

So sad to have to write this review

By Tamara M |

My husband and I have dined at this location a few times since we moved to Atlanta in December and up until now, we have been very happy with our dining experience. However, the last time we ate at Grand Lux Cafe, we honestly felt like we were living in another world. Upon our arrival, the hostess behaved as if we were inconveniencing her for a table. Not sure why, but she seemed bothered to seat us. No one else was there and we were not rude when we saw her. Anyway, once we were seated, we waited and we waited and we waited. All of the tables around us were being served and the wait staff was running all over the place helping everyone else as we sat there ready to order with our menu's closed on the table. After waiting for 10 minutes, my husband found a manager and let him know that we were waiting for our order to be taken. He did promptly have a server come by which was good. However, when the server arrived, he said that he was actually not the server the table but since his manager told him to take our order, he was going to. Ok, well, what did that mean exactly??? Anyway, he did take our order and our food did come and the food was fine, but not once did our server or whatever he was, come by to see how we were doing, nor did he fill my husbands empty water glass. He was very attentive with the tables around us, just not us. We did not require anything more than what was expected, but it was as if we did something wrong with the way we were treated from the start. This was a very disappointing visit.

Grand visit

By TravelingMomma73 |

Went for the Saturday brunch. Place wasn’t packed but there was no hostess on duty. A server seated us (he ended up being our server) after realizing we had not been seated still. We may have waited 2 minutes. Our server, Terrence D, was the best. Service here was top notch. I ordered the Grand Luxe French toast, which was two huge slices of grilled brioche bread cut in half. It was served with warm maple butter syrup. I ordered a side of bacon with it. This was some of The best French toast I’ve eaten anywhere. I used the syrup sparingly as the sweetness of the brioche bread worked well on it’s on. The bacon was fine....four slices of regular bacon. Nothing special about it. My Arnold Palmer was also super good. Perfect blend of their lemonade and sweet tea. It complimented a great meal. Hey

Great appetizers and decadent carrot cake🥕🥕

By Kathi H |

First time at this restaurant. Variety of appetizers with great taste and enough “heat”. Generous portions. One of top carrot cakes I’ve eaten. Will definitely return next time in Atlanta and will recommend to family and friends!

HORRIBLE SERVICE

By BeauT4Ashz |

DO NOT VISIT THIS RESTAURANT... I'm giving this score not for the food but for the service, HORRIBLE. My husband & I were in ATL for the weekend while shopping at Phipps Plaza, we decided to stop here for dining. We entered from the parking lot door and were greeted by THE RUDEST, RATCHET YOUNG LADY we have ever encountered at a restaurant. That should have been the sign right there to leave. She says to us, "gone up there to the front, they will seat you!" All while swinging her blonde hair, rolling her neck, and popping her gum... I said Oh, WOW! As we walked to the front, she came switching past us mouth something under her breath............. It was late when we were there not many people were in the restaurant, so the staff took this time to play, joke around and not be attentive to those dining. Our server was standoffish, she rushed us because she said the kitchen was closing. I asked her don't you all close at midnight because it was 10:47 PM. She said oh yes, do close, but they shutting the kitchen now. I shuck my head, WOW. The overall experience was HORRIBLE.

Annual Holiday lunch date with family

By Travel graciously |

My cousin picked the restaurant after the movie. We ordered three pasta dishes, salmon (with miso), veggie burger, two Asian rolls. One white wine, 3 tiramisu... Oh and a full calamari. Everyone said the food was good. My pasta (carbonara with bacon) it was good/tasty. To much oil at the bottom. The calamari (appetizer) came with meal. It was however removed from bill. The manager came over to apologize and said he had them re-cook it. Everything was good. My only complaint was the waitress never offered us a drink after she brought the waters. I did order a hot tea. She gave me three choices. We also asked for more bread and we never got it. It did take awhile for our food to come out. (Granted it was lunch, holidays and busy) Would I go back? Sure! We were seated within 10-15 minutes and the food was good. Overall our experience was good. (Sorry I usually take pictures but I completely forgot)

Excellent Lunch

By MTCSS |

A good lunch menu, I had the enchilada plate and my brother had the mango lime salad. The Enchiladas were tasty as was the black beans and rice although the rice was a bit under cooked. Our server Wesley was superb, describing the specials and keeping us informed on our order and checking that all was well with us. Would definitely come back next time I am in the area.

Three strikes - you're out!

By G.Sayers |

While the food has been good at Grand Lux Cafe, I've been there three times and the service was TERRIBLE each and every time. From waiting 15 minutes to have a server take our drink order to then waiting another 15-20 minutes to receive our drinks and order our food, to zero follow up after receiving our food and wanting more drinks - for which we actually had to walk up to the bar and order ourselves. That happened the first time, but we enjoyed our meals so we chalked it up to one bad server. We went a second time and experienced the same level of service with another server and the same wait times. Because I liked the Nashville hot chicken and the wait at the Tavern was too long, we tried it a third time. Again, the service was non-responsive and the meal just wasn't worth it. Too many restaurants in Atlanta to be this bad. Won't spend the time or money at this place ever again.

Enjoyed the menu choices

By Family_Tripster_05 |

We were a group of 8 on a fairly busy Saturday night, but were able to be seated without a wait. Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant as we were looking for something within walking distance, and we were not disappointed. The menu had lots of unique choices, especially in the appetizer section. We tried a wonton-nacho dish that was especially great. The portions were quite generous and most of our party really enjoyed their entrees. The prices were reasonable and the service was fine, other than it took a really long time for our drinks to arrive.

Excellent Restaurant Hidden in Lenox Mall

By STEVE C |

A wide variety of entrees, burgers, salads, small plates, appetizers, desserts, and drinks. Excellent and not too expensive. The salmon trio is outstanding. Don't let the mall location turn you off - Grand Lux Cafe is excellent. There is an exterior exit off Peachtree Road NE.

Just brunch

By Thatsafancybag |

Busy place, come early to avoid waiting for a table. Had brunch. All of our food was correct and pretty good. Had some amazing crispy asparagus but they were out of Brussels sprouts and as a vegetarian could have used more options. Had a great egg white omelet and the blood orange mimosa was decent but very small. I expected a bit bigger for a brunch drink. Our waiter Pierre was very personable and patient so kudos to him.

We tried a second time....

By Tamara M |

So, my husband and I decided to go back to Grand Lux Cafe one night and sit at the bar. The last time we dined the service was horrible, so we thought, if we sat at the bar and were right in front of the bartender, we should have good service....we were very wrong in that thought process. The bartender started out by saying hello and that he would get us menus, but it took him 10 minutes to do so. Then, our food took way longer than expected. If it were not for a nice guy sitting near us that we enjoyed talking to and of course our own conversations, we would have been in foul moods. The guy who was sitting near us it seemed like he was being ignored most of the time. He had asked the bartender to change the tv channel to a football game he wanted to watch. The bartender said sure, but it never happened. He ordered things that also never showed up. The food was good, but the service in all parts of this restaurant has been very poor and with all the restaurants nearby, it makes it hard for us to chose the Grand Lux Cafe again.

Just okay

By C. T |

5ye service wasn't that great. It took a minimum of twenty minutes to bring me a refill of coffee and another 15 minutes to bring me syrup for my hotcakes needless to say that the food was cold🤔

New restaurant- Phipps Plaza

By atg0dfrey |

I had dinner here as part of a birthday celebration. There was about 20 of us. Our server handled our table well. There were several large groups this evening and there was a delay in getting our entrees but she kept us updated on the status of our meals. I had the shrimp scampi and it was good. Only one person had an issue with their food - she said her food was too salty and they quickly brought her another entree which met her expectations. The restaurant opened August 2018. They also have locations in other states. Reservations are best to have before coming.

A great meal !

By Minklehole |

The lettuce wraps were perfect. The bourbon chicken meal was amazing. Enough for two people. Price was good. Clean facilities. The server was absolutely awesome.

AMAZING FOOD!

By Susan H |

I don't even know where to begin. All three of had found our food to be absolutely delicious. It was a busy Sunday. Did not have reservations but we were fortunate they made room for us. The staff was fabulous at least our server was. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it was well worth it.

Great Brunch

By Stephanie M |

Had a great time with friends at this location. I had the crispy Thai shrimp and chicken wraps and they were tasty. My friend had the lunch Miso glazed salmon and omg it was so tasty. Seasoned very well. The other crew had the veggie burger. Although it didn’t look appealing they rant and raved about the tastiness of the burger. Last but not least, omggg the chocolate chip fresh baked cookies were amazing. The only come in a dozen but I shared. They are mini cookies but delicious and plenty enough. The cookies are a must try. I will definitely go back and try the cedar planked bbq salmon.

So much to choose from, but save room for dessert

By Tamara M |

My husband and I really enjoy the Grand Lux Cafe. They have a large menu with tons to choose from. The service is always good and the ambiance is nice. We have found the desserts to be really good, so make sure to save room.

Lunch with my wife

By backhoe409 |

We had to come to Atlanta for a doctors appointment and a little shopping. It's time for lunch so we wanted to try something different. Since we just happened to be at Phipps Plaza we looked for a new place to eat. The Grand Lux Cafe looked interesting so in we went. The atmosphere was very nice, the serve was excellent, out waitress very helpful with a menu that was never ending. Something for everyone, a world wide menu with a variety of great sounding meals. We both selected I woodgrilled prime bbq burger with blue cheese, fries and salad. Amazing, enough said. You need to try this place, you won't be sorry

The perfect Birthday Dinner

By Trent W |

Brought a party of 9 here for my wife's birthday. The service was impeccable. Our waitress had a very thorough knowledge of the menu. Everyone enjoyed their food. The chicken Royale was good even as leftovers. They even added extra decorations to the cake we bought from a bakery. Totally worth the value and I'll be back again.

Jambalaya

By Jazmine S |

I always come here for the beignets. It’s absolutely the best. This time around I’ve decided to try the jambalaya and it was amazing. My coworker tried the bento box with the salmon and someone else had the pasta. 5/5. Definitely worth the trip.

Out Of Touch General Manager

By lakerone |

A very classy and expensive buildout with a diverse menu (something for everyone) staffed by Burger King managers. The facility is excellent with no expense spared BUT senior manager needs retraining or replacement. He or she did not have control or passion for the business or guest. I never saw any managers visiting tables or acknowledging guest. The wait staff never gave guest ‘right of way’ while walking through the restaurant. My wife and I visited Saturday night (11/17/18). We expected a crowd and a wait. This location has a front and rear entrances/host stands. There were eight guest waiting at the mall entrance and fourteen guest waiting at the street entrance. The 30 to 60 minute wait was not necessary because there were (I counted) 21 EMPTY TABLES in the restaurant. Did several servers not report as scheduled? MANAGEMENT DID NOTHING TO ADDRESS THE SITUATION. Experienced managers would acknowledge the long wait times and implement a better recovery strategy. Doing nothing should not have been an option. Our Food: Ordered Chicken Royal-Lightly breaded sautéed chicken breast served over white steamed rice with wine butter sauce and mashed potatoes, green beans and herbed carrots. The chicken was not hot with so-so flavor. There was zero white butter wine sauce served! The mashed potatoes had a great flavor but was warm at best. The carrots were also just warm. Soy Galzed Salmon with Shiitake Mushrooms was ordered but received over cooked/dry SEA BASS. I called our server and tolded her that my order was not correct. She removed the sea bass and returned later with the correct plate. She said, “Oh yeah, they gave you the wrong one. Yours was sitting in the window!” (Expediter responsibility?) The salmon was over cooked, dry and tuff perched on top of old, warm (not hot) steamed white rice. I complained to the server and graciously he said “That’s not our standard. Let me get you a fresh one.” I asked, “Are you talking about heating this one or cooking a new one?” He said they would cook a fresh piece of salmon. About eight minutes later, a manager with his hand wrapped in several towels for protection from the hot plate brought my replacement dinner. It was the same plate with the same salmon on a very hot plate that has either been placed in an oven or under a salamander to reheat the fish. Because I obviously broke off a piece before it was sent back, it was obvious the chef/line cook/expediter molded (pushed the pieces back together) and returned the same salmon! I was told the the expediter was the General Manager! I would expect a line cook to do something like this but not the GM. I asked them to remove the dish from my bill. The ribs were delicious. The fries were good. The carrots were barely room temperature. The Sprite was weak.(calibration needed). Atmosphere was a little loud. I suggest playing some ‘easy listening’ music. The facility was well maintained except for the ladies restroom. Out of paper towels. The manager never came to our table to express any regret or apologize. David (owner), you have a great location (parking is tight due to construction) with no expense spared on the build-out but you have a void in leadership! It’s certainly not the worst experience but I expect better from Grand Lux. After all, this is not Burger King! Sent from my iPad

Excellent Addition To Phipps Restaurants

By FutureFun |

Newly opened. Upscale run by Cheesecake Factory Company. Extensive menu from burgers to fresh seafood. We all had salads- seafood, southwestern and a warm grains with kale. Very fresh, nicely presented and large portions. Bread was warm and very good. Tabatha was an excellent server. Helpful, attentive and all requests met. One had a dark chocolate cake for dessert. Rich, tasty and too much too finish.

Worth the Wait

By mlesser1 |

went on a Saturday night without a reservation; the wait was only 15 minutes... service was excellent and the food was first rate.

Good food and service

By Tamara M |

My husband and I really enjoyed our first dining experience at the Grand Lux Café in Atlanta. We have eaten at other Grand Lux Cafe's in Scottsdale, Arizona and in Las Vegas and felt like the one in Atlanta was our best visit. We now call Atlanta home, so we are happy to have a place nearby that offers so many options, has a nice atmosphere and great service too.

Lots to choose from on the menu

By anamalie2016 |

Very interesting menu with lots to choose from! Very please with our selections and our waiter was very attentive (Phillip) and was able to answer our questions and meet our needs! Does not disappoint!

Welcome to Atlanta

By Lisa W |

Friends from New York welcomed us to Atlanta with a nice dinner at Grand Lux. Our server, Matt, was very attentive to our table and took great care of us. The food was great and the company (Bo' and family) was even better.

Grand disappointment

By Semeta |

We have gone to Grand Lux in Las Vegas and Dallas. When we saw it in Atlanta... we thought we couldn’t go wrong. How wrong we were. We sat at the bar for at least 5 minutes and finally had to ask a server passing by if we could get some service. This is while we watched 2 bartenders at a very small bar completely ignore us. Ordered dinner after having to ask for drinks twice.. very inattentive bartender. He said our bread would be out in a few minutes.... never saw the bread. We had chicken enchilada entree. Plate was burning hot but the food was cold. Rice tastes like paste. Sunday pasta the same. Super hot plate... cold food. We sent the enchiladas back and got the chicken quesadilla. Marginal at best. They didn’t charge us (thankfully). On the plus side the desserts were good. Will never go back and will have to think again if we try another Grand Lux. Completely disappointing. After other food experiences.... this particular site was really sub standard.

Get the Butter Cake!!

By SSBurto |

I enjoyed the food. I had the Bento Box with grilled salmon, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and the chicken mushroom soup. The soup could have better hotter and the asparagus was blah. The dessert, the butter cake, was the BOMB!! I highly recommend it.

Thursday lunch

By Craig A |

My daughter and I had lunch here. She ordered the chicken tacos and I ordered the braised rib taco. We shared and they were both very good.

Suprisingly Delicious!

By AHungryDude |

We heard that this place was affiliated with Cheesecake Factory, so arrived with modest expectations. We were very surprised how good the food was! Started with ahi tuna tacos (not sure what they call it on the menu) that had a wasabi cream sauce. Loved it! We also tried the burger (at the server's suggestion) as well as an Asian dish. All were very well done and would recommend.
