They do not like Babies

By KarenM_AK |

My boss took me out to eat for my Birthday. She brought along her 11 month old twins. We ordered appetizers, wine, our meal. The babies were happy, talking, NOT crying or fussing. The manger came over and told us she had received a complaint. about the babies. We told her we just order dessert. Dessert was brought in a to go box. When we spoke to the manager it went from one person to several people and even someone on the other side of the wall complained. It was said several times that a custom would not order until the babies left. We were THROWN OUT OF THE GRAPE VINE on Lake Mead Please boycott.

Food was just average

By Therese S |

Food was just average but service was terrible. Server had no idea about menu and owner is just as bad. There are so many other options such as Americana.

Great Date Night!

By James J |

My wife and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to try something a little different than the usual Strip haunts. We were pleasantly surprised by this find! The hostess was super friendly and sat us at a table near the kitchen. I asked if we could be relocated and she gladly accomodated us. The low lighting and dark wood added to a nice ambience. While there was a good crowd of diners, the cafe acoustics presented an intimate atmosphere and we did not have to shout to converse! All of the staff were friendly and professional. My wife asked for a wine recommendation and our waiter, Bryan, brought an outstanding selection. The Grape Vine, true to its name, features an impressive wine portfolio and a staff trained to make sure guests receive a great pairing. The food was brought out piping hot and was of excellent quality. My seafood pasta dish was perfectly prepared and my wife's special featured very tender braised short ribs with fresh, sauteed spinach and a delicious risotto. If you are looking for a quality dining experience with great food and service far above standard, I happily recommend the Grape Vine Café. As we visit Las Vegas frequently, I can attest that we will certainly be back!

Delicious and Cozy

By B T |

Grape Street Cafe was discovered by us when we purchased a Groupon to check it out. After that initial 2011 visit, it became one of our all time favorites. We have returned several times for different occasions and happily took my fussy Italian parents. Much to our delight, they loved it, and still rave about it. We have had a variety of dishes, as well as pizza. All were delightful. The wine has always been tasty and the decor is cozy.

I'll definitely return

By Stef F |

Though I've been going to the salon next to the original location on W Lake Mead, I dined at Grape Street Cafe for the 1st time at Downtown Summerlin. It's easily accessible by parking on the east side of the mall by Regal or Dillards. The ambiance was on point- rustic yet colorful, casual yet chic. But!, it's another restaurant with tables a little too close for comfort. If they remove even 2 tables & spread the rest of the tables out a bit, they'll be golden. Our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable & the right level of attentive. & pretty easy on the eyes. The complimentary bread wasn't super flavorful but it was soft & the whipped butter was good. At the waiter's suggestion, I ordered the Portobello philly with chicken added & my lunch dates ordered the chicken parm sandwich & the steak salad. The philly came with some sort of cold rice pilaf salad... I have no idea what it was but it was simple & I seemed to enjoy it. The philly was fantastic- the bread for both sandwiches was the same as the complimentary bread & was the perfect sandwich bread. It even held up reheating the next day! The verdict on the chicken parm sandwich was "really good". & the fries were highly rated by all of us. We both tasted the steak salad- the general consensus was that it's yummy. But!, the salad could use a bit more substance with mushrooms or croutons, etc. It seemed a bit like a generic side salad with steak on it. It doesn't do the steak justice. All in all, it was a lovely experience.

A lovely restaurant off the Vegas Strip

By Jane W |

If you're in the Summerlin Parkway/Buffalo area of Las Vegas, this is a lovely, lovely spot for a special lunch or dinner. The wait staff is excellent, the ambiance is charming and the food is delicious. I keep ordering the different salads and each one is exquisite and flavorful. They have a lovely wine selection and generous pours. Dress is casual but it's also the kind of great place to meet friends for a special lunch. Dinner is outstanding but a tad fancier.

Amazing!

By TessW3 |

Our first visit to Grape Street was in 1999 and we just revisited since moving to Phoenix 13 years ago. Since then we have traveled around France and Italy and the meals we finished here over two weekends are as good as the amazing food of Europe. This is great food! Keep going John!

Great dinner

By Knights19 |

I went to Grape street cafe for dinner with my girlfriend and it was very good. Our waiter Mark was really good. I would recommend this place if you want a really good ideal at a good price.

AMAZING DINNER GREAT SERVICE FLAWLESS!!!!

By john m |

We had a party of 6 ...all of whom with the exception of one were first time visitors to GRAPE STREET CAFE... I live in the neighborhood and have been in the parking lot of Grape Street THOUSANDS of time...but never went there.. After our amazing experience we will be back. The RIB EYE was one of the most tender steaks I have ever experienced. The Manicotti were expertly prepared and very very filling. Blue Moon on draft! The service was also very attentive and careful. We had paid our bill and were not pressured to leave as we enjoyed our company for 30 minutes after. GREAT GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

Uncomfortable Experience

By Djirishcream |

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant after hearing my cousin rave about it for two years. When we walked in, we really liked the ambiance. It was dimly lit but not in a bad way. The waiter came immediately to the table. I expected that he would urge us to try the wine because it is a wine bar. No mention of wine at all. They did leave a wine menu on the table. My boyfriend is a picky eater so we are used to pouring over a menu to see what he can eat that won't have too many extras. He likes things plain. The roasted chicken looked like a safe bet but it came with leeks in the mashed potatoes which he won't eat. We asked for baked potato instead which we were told they didn't have (then how do they make the mashed potatoes?). We asked if they could leave the leeks out of the mashed potatoes and were told no. This told me that either they don't accommodate changes or substitutions or that they aren't making their food to order which is unacceptable for a restaurant with such a great reputation. This place is not cheap either. So, he ordered the pizza instead. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti. My meal came with soup or salad. His did not. He ordered a $7 house salad. He was not presented with dressing options. I later found out they did have two choices of house dressing. His salad came with a cherry vinaigrette which he did not like. He took one bite. When the waiter returned, he asked if everything was ok and my bf told him he didn't like the dressing. The waiter simply took it away saying nothing. He did not offer to get him anything else. Did not mention that there was a different dressing he could try. We assumed, and rightly so, we would not have to pay for this salad. We were wrong. The pizza was mushy. They whole center was soggy. When my boyfriend mentioned this, the waiter offered to put it back in the oven. Not make a new one, put that one back in the oven. That is not acceptable. We weren't at a fast food restaurant. When my bf declined this option, the waiter was visibly annoyed. It seems so annoyed that he told his coworkers. It was obvious the staff was then talking about us. I am not a picky eater. I will eat most anything. The menu mentioned the chicken Parmesan would be crispy. It was not. It was as if it was baked with a watery sauce. The breading was soggy. It tasted good though, so I ate it all. My side of spaghetti was very disappointing. There was a pool of water at the bottom of the bowl as if the pasta was not drained. It was clear by the taste and texture it was made in advance and reheated in boiling water, which is fine if it is drained properly. So, when my boyfriend declined the recycled pizza, he asked instead for ravioli with chicken added (but on the side) for an additional $5. The ravioli was good. The pink sauce was heavily flavored with what tasted like wine not cooked down enough. It was reminiscent of a fairly good jarred sauce. He scraped off the sauce and ate the ravioli. I admit he is particular about how his chicken is cooked. He likes it dry, too dry for most people's liking. However, I cut into his chicken to make sure he wasn't just overreacting and it was not cooked. It was pink and rubbery inside. When the waiter came back to our table, I showed him the chicken. He said nothing, took it and walked away. He came back to ask if we needed anything else. I politely declined and asked for our check. I also mentioned that we had a Groupon. He replied sarcastically, "Well isn't that a nice surprise." It made me feel very embarrassed and uncomfortable. Apparently we were supposed to mention our Groupon at the beginning of our meal. There are many ways he could have told us this without being rude. The check came. We were charged for both the house salad and the undercooked chicken. Had the rest of the service gone well, I would have assumed this was an oversight. I didn't even complain. I just paid the bill and left. I tipped him 20%. I probably shouldn't have but I always feel bad for waiters who work long hours and have many rude and ungrateful customers. I am not one of those people. I am not complaining here because I am a complainer. I am just letting others know that for your money, there are likely better options. My cousin, who is an attorney in town and somewhat of a local celebrity, gets too notch service whenever she goes there. She is accommodated with any substitutions she wants. She is demanding and always asks for her food to be made special for her. They gladly oblige. It seems that at a higher end restaurant that relies on locals for their business, all customers deserve this treatment. One upside, the baked Brie was phenomenal.

Wine List is Outstanding/Reasonable & Food Excellent

By Michele C |

Wow, the Grape Vine had the Prisoner at $67. We enjoyed the Lamp Chops and Linguine & Clams in white sauce. The owner was at the restaurant. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We enjoyed dining on the patio. Highly recommend this location for a low key evening.

Always a Stop When in Vegas

By Yvonne H |

This restaurant has some the best HH offerings and wine opportunities. Food and service is always excellent. This is one of the MUST stop places whenever I visit Vegs. Had the Linguine in clam sauce, others had blackened salmon salad that will be the standard bearer. The salmon was cooked to perfection and not salty like most blackened foods. Dessert is always wonderful.

Fun Place,, Great Wine

Birthday dinner

By J5987FMsharonl |

We had a group of 10 women for a friends birthday and they seated us in the cozy Room. The food and service were awsome. I will return with my husband.

Nice dinner

By vegas rocks |

We enjoyed a glass of Overstone Marlborough New Zealand sav blanc. Cream of broccoli soup was good but waaay too salty. I love blackened salmon Caesar salad. Chicken Marsala was good but bland Marsala sauce with minimal Marsala wine in the preparation. They were out of profiteroles so chose the warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream with a caramel drizzle. It was ok. There weren’t any open table reservations available but 1/4 of the restaurant was taken. We called for a reservation.

Very disappointed with this visit

By MimiLasVegasLasVEgas |

We are frequent visitors to this restaurant and decided to have an early dinner with our parents. We arrived around 3:30pm and the restaurant was pretty empty so the assumption is service should be good. Well the waiter delivered burnt bread with butter and we asked him for another loaf as the one he delivered was burnt. We ordered an appetizer which was good and we all had veal for dinner. The second loaf arrived (that was also burnt) so we said "excuse me sir do you have any bread that is not burnt both loafs are burnt on the top" he said there some fresh loaves baking so he would bring us a new one. (He never did) We sat waiting for our veal for over 35 minutes no exaggeration. Once we had the veal he asked if we wanted desert we said no thanks just the check. It took 10 minutes to get the check and we sat and sat and sat. Finally we walked over to the counter while 5 waiters were standing around at the bar and we told our waiter "can we pay our bill now?, my parents are waiting in the car" he apologized for the wait. Very poor service. Grape Street I won't be coming back for a long time.

Early dinner with the whole family

By Hendersoned |

I have three teenage kids and the Grapevine has something for everyone there are five of us my wife had a steak salad my son had chicken Parmesan sandwich my daughter had manicotti and daughter number two and cheese ravioli I had an Italian sandwich all of it was really good I also sampled the cheese ravioli which was really really good I loved the sauce. The service is always good the owner stop by to see how we were doing she's a very nice lady this is off the strip a real gem you owe it to yourself to eat here

Awesome experience

By Deb W |

We started with a drink at the bar. The bartender was very good and everyone enjoyed their drinks. For dinner, we chose the chef's special of scallops and mushroom risotto. We started with the soup of the day which was chicken curry. It was all great. A couple in our group split the chicken Parmesan which was huge even in the split portion. Others had the sea bass and liked it too. We will come back. Our server Rocky was very good.

Will not return there again

By eronel28 |

Our visit started with a very young hostess who looked bothered and annoyed that she actually had to take care and seat us. The was no smile, no welcome, no eye contact. Next was a waiter who stood impatiently at the opposite end of the table while I selected my wine. Next came the meal, eggplant parmesan sandwich, which was overpowered by the flavor of jalapenos (jalapenos in an eggplant parm sandwich?) Refills on water were never offered, even though both our glasses were empty. Waiters were standing around by the kitchen, instead of attending customers. Finally, a small beetle crawled across the table. I told my date to get the waiter to show him, but we just paid the bill and got out of there with no plans to ever return.

GREAT LOCALS SPOT

By richard c |

nothing but the best here, very nice locals restaurant, "linda " the new owner is as nice as they come, do "not" confuse this with grape street restaurant, quality food, and helpful servers, large portions in a no rush atmosphre

Yum, yum, yummy!

By DADuv2 |

Went with no expectations with a friend who had purchased a coupon on line. We both ordered the gorgonzola pasta with chicken-YUM! We also both has their chopped salad with house dressing-YUM! The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. There is a bar in the center of the restaurant that seems to serve the neighborhood crowd. The bar does not take away from the ambiance of the restaurant. I really enjoyed my dinner and will most definitely be back on the next visit to Las Vegas. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Very Good Wine and Food!

By koleary89 |

We have been to Grape Street a few times and always very good, they have wine flights for tasting and a large wine list. The menu consists of Cheese Plates, appetizers and full dinners. We have not been disappointed in the wine or the food. Also check if there is a Groupon as that will save you money!

Need better service

By Karen N |

Yesterday was my birthday and I decided to go there with a friend and was very bad experience, the server never asked how’s the food and nothing, he thought I won’t to leave the tip and I’m a server, I leave more than 18% because I work in the industry. Very disappointment, was the gray hair server.

Tobin James wine pairing

By Joe N |

I was very happy with the wine pairing. Great wine and food plus Tobin James himself was there. He brought gifts and raffled them off. He also signed every bottle that you bought. It was a great evening that I hope they can repeat every year

Extremely disappointed

By katelynn210 |

This used to be my favorite restaurant but the snail's pace of our food being served has moved it to the bottom of my list. I understand things happen, and the waiter was apologetic, but the fact that a manager never came over and apologized or even recognized the issue is unforgivable. We ended up canceling our order after waiting 90 min for entrees, and one still wasn't ready! I am so disappointed not only in the fact of our experience but that my Mother's Day was tarnished.

Amazing food, good environment away from LV crazyness

By mdaenekas |

We found this gem while looking for a less-crowded, not-a-franchise place to eat. We did have to drive about 20 minutes from the strip area but it was worth it. We all loved the food and the fact that it didn't even feel we were in Vegas anymore. Will go back nex time

They love families of all sizes!

By Joan P |

Ive been to Grape Vine quite a few times, on date night, with co-workers and with the family. Each time ive been greeted amazingly! When my sister and 1 year old niece join me we are treated great! My niece makes no fuss and every time ive seen other children of all ages ive never seen an issue. Small business needs support not a cruel inaccurate review. Now my review: we just dined last week, started with shrimp cocktail, delicious!! Best cocktail sauce ever!! Steak salad is cooked to perfection! Clam chowder is amazing!! Chicken parm is full of flavor!! Highly recommend Grape Vine!!

Quite delicious!

By Lvmandy |

Haven’t been to this place in quite sometime, but I’m very happy we stopped in. The service was wonderful, the food was delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous. They also have nightly drink and food specials which was nice. I had the sangria and I’m very glad I did! It was great! We will definitely be back soon!

Watch out for the 18% gratuity automatically put on your bill.

By ERunner131 |

I used my Groupon for Grape Street Wine & Bar the other night and the value was $50. My fiancé and I were the only ones at the table, and when the bill came there was an 18% gratuity charge on the bill. Normally this happens only when you have 6 or more in your party not when you have a total of two people. I didn’t ask for the manager that evening because I wanted to see what the fine print said on the Groupon and so I went home and checked it out and it didn't state anything about the 18% gratuity. I just spoke with the manager at Grape Street and I asked if there were any policies in place for using a Groupon and he listed them and I asked if there was any additional fee and he said no, I then told him I was there last night and an 18% gratuity was added to the bill. I said just a minute ago you stated there were no additional charges he said that was between the owner and Groupon. Make long story short I had planned on tipping more because the food and service was excellent but after this I only left the 18% and I will never go back there because they just rubbed me the wrong way! This is a bad way to do business!

Long cab ride from Strip but great

By missourigirl65807 |

If you like wine, they have it. However, the food is great. I had a Filet Oscar that was cooked perfectly and tender. My boyfriend had the lamb with polenta and it was excellent. We had a fruit and cheese tray with the Poppy Pinot. The highlight of a pretty standard cheese plate was the mango cheese. The chocolate mousse dessert was average but to be fair we were very full by that time. Service was attentive but not rushed. Very relaxing with a wide variety of menu items and prices. Would recommend if you want to leave the Strip and have a car. Taxi ride was a little steep.

Never disappoints

By roma2srs |

We went to Grape Street again and as always we had a great meal. I had my favorite of eggplant parmigiana which is one their best dishes. My husband and one of our friends had their veal parmigiana special. The portion was very large and it was delicious. The bread was different and not as good as they used to serve. They only take reservations for 6 or more so if you don't go early you could have to wait. They do have a bar and very extensive wine selection although we did not have any this time. Maybe on our next visit. They have an outdoor patio however it overlooks a parking lot. There is a very nice small private room for parties of 8 or more I think so remember to ask for it as the restaurant itself can get rather noisy.

Nice Atmostphere - It's not Cheep!

By Engineer_Lou |

It is located in the back of a shopping center, not visible from the street. We went here as guests of some friends for dinner. The atmosphere is nice. The floor is a stained concrete and the table and chairs are made of a very heavy metal. It was difficult to move your chair in and out. For appetizers: we shared the Caprese Salad ($13) and Fried Calamari ($13) - Both were good but, were average for this type of restaurant. My Fiancée ordered the Spaghetti with meatballs ($17), which did not come with a side salad ($5 extra). She was not pleased with her meal. She said that the meatballs tasted like they were all veal. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with a side of Penne (standard side is spaghetti), which did come with a side salad ($22). The chicken parmesan had 3 pieces of chicken which, we both thought was very good. The penne pasta tasted very bland to me and the sauce was a tomato sauce with no paste, so it did not stick to the pasta very well. The side salad was a chopped Greek type topped with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Good but, not what I expected for a side Greek salad (I was not told it was going to be a chopped salad). The waitress was attentive and came back several times to take our main order while we were having our appetizers. The girls felt we were being rushed a bit to order our dinners. Our Impression of the place: It does not rate a return, even with a discount deal.

Grape Street a great locals restaurant

By EdFromVegas |

Although I don't go often, not sure why, Grape Street is always excellent - especially for a shopping center location. The food is great, service excellent - they give you good tips on selections. Word to the wise, factor in the cost when taking the waiter's choice for a wine, $75 pricey for me and didn't notice until the next day when I wondered how the bill got so high on a shared meal. But that was my fault and the wine was excellent.

Great wince bar & Mediterranean food!

By pattyr1014 |

Long time favorite since it's opening & Chef John is the best! We still go at least once a month. You have got to try menu favorite appetizer, Crostini! I could just eat that & a salad and be happy every time....

GREAT FIND

By tazman1953 |

What a great find, food was outstanding, service 5 star, the Chicken Parmesan is a 10, the Egg plant was also a 10. The prices were great Monday nights 50% off all bottles of wine, Tuesday through Friday and Sunday happy hour huge discounts 40-50%. very good wine list. You need to try grape Vine Café will be going back very soon also the menu has something for everyone.

Overall a pretty good place

By Therese S |

Good food. Great wine selection. Menu is somewhat pricey. Dan the bartender takes good care of his customers. Location could be better as restaurant is in a strip mall. Grape Street has been around for quite some time so that says something about the place.

Excellent staff, food and wine!

By Cheryla222_13 |

We took advantage of going to this restaurant as we were leaving Las Vegas. We enjoyed a special with 3 flights and appetizers. The service was excellent, with our waiter/bartender adjusting our tasting selections when he discovered out preferences. I look forward to returning to this café on my next trip to Vegas.

Enjoyable Lunch al Fresco

By JLTP |

My wife and I had a nice outdoor lunch here. Our white wine was appropriately chilled. My poached salmon was tasty (though a bit expensive at $19). My wife's grilled vegetable sandwich, which she loved, was a better value at $12. Service was good, too.

Wow, wish we knew sooner

By mst12 |

Great food, Oscar filet and sesame ahi tuna a must. Can't wait to come back a try everything else on the menu.

Wine lovers welcome !

By bainfamily1 |

With this wine and food menu , you can’t go wrong! Happy Hour Tues- Fri is 3-6 Tues-Sat , 4-6 Sunday. Most wine glasses are 1/2 price, and plenty of yummy appetizers to choose from at a discounted price. We had a delicious glass if the Wente Cabernet to start and paired it with a delicious cheese and fruit platter. Dinner menu has delicious choices as well with the Italian classics, plenty of seafood choices, chicken and beef as well along with nightly specials. Monday’s have most wine bottles at half price. There is also a monthly wine dinner, so make sure to ask if you are in town. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back !

Beautiful dinner

We had a fantastic dinner here. Great service, kind waiter. I had the salmon salad. It was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor.

Enjoyable dining

Fine food and great wine for a reasonable price. This has always been a favorite for my wife and I. We have never had bad service or bad food. The servers are knowledgeable and very helpful. Try the appetizers and linguine and clams, they are a favorite.

Very Satisfying

By shimizuMinnesota |

I recently had lunch at the Grape Street Café and found it very satisfying and relaxing. From the scintillating wine list to the most appetizing food, I would rate this a top notch establishment. Service was efficient, friendly and polite, Baked brie appetizer pleased the palate and the salad that followed was full of flavor. I even used a groupon that was graciously accepted. Yes, gratuity was added, but I would have left at least that much as a tip anyway. I would encourage you to seek out this restaurant, It is one of the finest lunches I've had in a long time. Senior reviewer Terry S'

Amazing food! Best Sea Bass I have ever had!

By caseybrandon1979 |

This is a charming brick restaurant with a great wine selection. I had the Chilean Sea Bass - it was so perfectly cooked with a seared crust. I have never had better Sea Bass! My son had the Chicken Parmesan Florentine and said it was his new favorite dish (I never thought I'd hear him say that about something that had spinach in it!). The service was friendly and efficient and the owner came around a gave me an excellent suggestion for a glass of wine to pair with my Sea Bass. When the bill came I was pleasantly surprised that the glass of wine was only $5...they have happy hour every day with wine 50% off!

The ambiance of a French wine cellar.

By greatwhiteshark2 |

We met friends there for dinner on a Monday, when bottles of wine were half off...great deal. Anyway, we had a 2010 French Burgundy & it was wonderful. We will be going to that region in France this summer. It was a perfect pairing with the baked goat cheese appetizer with carmelized onions & sweet sauce. This was really delicious. We also had the Prosciutto Pizza. This was made with a thin crust and also fantastic. The ambiance is very conducive for a very jovial time & great conversations with friends. The service was impeccable & the price is comparable to the best of the restaurants in Las Vegas. We definitely will go back again.

Early dinner

By Hendersoned |

The new owner has preserved most of the old grape Street menu and added some new items one of the best new things is happy hour specials before 6 PM most of the appetizers are half price last night we dined on appetizers, deep fried Parmesan mushrooms were really good, crab stuffed shrimp! my wife got a shrimp cocktail and bruschetta with goat cheese, I also had a small house salad with the champagne vinegarett It was really yummy. If you're on the west side of Las Vegas I highly recommend the grapevine café

Nothing Special

By YMGBR |

Usually I write a long review with in depth views but this place does not deserve it. I keep trying to like this place over the years but just can't find my way to doing just that. The food was very average. The service was decent but nothing here to mention as well. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a good meal and experience.

Off the strip gem

By Biggs142 |

We were in Las Vegas for an adult weekend . My wife wanted Italian food and to eat off the strip. So we started looking at reviews and settled on this place . We are so glad we did . Nice place and excellent atmosphere . We got the calamari with Rhode Island sauce it was awesome . Hot and spice butter wine sauce over the calamari. It blew my mind , I dipped all my bread in the left over sauce . I had the chicken Gorgonzola which was huge, super tasty and cooked to perfection . The wife had eggplant Parmesan that was to die for ! Sliced thin , crispy and trenches in flavor . Waitress was nice and friendly .

An unexpected treat.

By Irish_Harry |

My husband and i were taken to this off the strip restaurant by a local friend while we were enjoying Las Vegas. We were impressed with the ambiance, the service and, most of all the food., This was half price Monday for wine, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Since portions in this area are often gigantic we ordered with caution. Two of us ordered the tomato basil soup (wonderful) and I chose a fresh Caesar salad. I ordered the cheese ravioli, which were served under a velvety light tomato sauce. The others ordered chicken piccata, which they enjoyed. The atmosphere is bright, open and cheery and the server was professional, friendly and helpful. We watched our server polishing the kitchen door after our meal, which was an interesting touch. Do not know the history of the Grape Vine Cafe, but Las Vegas is 'lucky' to have such an authentic Italian restaurant nearby. Definitely recommended, although you need transportation from the strip to go there.

REEEAALLY GOOD!

By Richard S |

Enjoyed two delicious, excellently prepared meals; chicken parm and salmon as well as a bowl of really good Cream of mushroom soup. Chef Jose, waiter Rudy and Chief Glass Cleaner Michelle were all very gracious and knew the menu and prep in and out. Nicely sized portions without being too much. Best chicken parm I have ever had. Everything was well worth it! Great wine list too.

A great experience!

By paper1234 |

It was well worth the drive from the strip. The food and wine were excellent and the staff were amazing. We wish we could transport this restaurant to our hometown!

A good experience

By Rayhaus547 |

I went last night with my wife. She had the halibut and I had the linguine with triple cream brie sauce. Both were excellent. We drank a Paso Robles lodi zinfandel that was also excellent. The ambiance and the service were appropriate for that type of establishment. My only reserve are the prices too high for the wine and the pastas ( not the fish).

Lovely dinner with friends

By mgm530 |

We had a Groupon and invited friends to join us. Started with the appetizer sampler and everything was really good. Oh, the bread and butter was also so good that we asked for a refill. Dinner - we all enjoyed our pasta dishes. Husband had the angel hair with vegetables and shrimp, can't remember what it was called. The penne with vodka sauce was some of the best I've ever had, and I loved the asparagus and procuitto in with the pasts. Friends had the Gorgonzola Chicken and the Linguine with clam sauce and both pronounced it very good. We decided to order 2 desserts as a splurge and our friends had the apple pie with ice cream and said it was fabulous. I ordered the profiteroles and WOW, they were huge and really tasty. We didn't indulge in wine this evening, but will be back for a Monday night 1/2 price wine bottles and happy hour. We had a lovely dinner with friends and appreciated the atmosphere and service and the very good food.

Another outstanding dinner at Grapevine

By paul b |

This was my fourth time dining at the Grapevine ( but definitely not my last!) let’s start with the room itself.. a perfect blend of romantic ambiance mixed with a comfortable vineyard feel. The hostess greeted us warmly ( even through a mask you could see a smile) the waitress Brittany, was extremely friendly and was very helpful with wine selections for our party of four as well as the evening’s dinner specials. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with rice pilaf and a side of spinach and hands down it was the best I’ve ever had. Oh heck!... did I forget to mention the warm goat cheese appetizer? Delicious! The others at the table had the short ribs with an amazing risotto ( I had to steal a bite from my girlfriends plate) ...we finished the meal with two servings of flourless chocolate cake that can only be described as decadently delicious! We noticed a family of four ( mom, dad, and two young boys) seated a table or two away from us and they all had smiles on their faces throughout the evening. Grapevine Cafe is a perfect spot for couples looking for a romantic dinner and also a great restaurant for families that desire good food with warm welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!

Delightful!

By Patricia B |

My Vegas daughter had heard about this cafe from friends, so we had to try it while we were visiting. We had appetizers and wine because we had to hurry off to a football game. The wine was GREAT! We adored the appetizers: the tapa platter, the fruit & cheese platter, and ESPECIALLY the baked brie! Our waiter was the BEST! He moved things along when he found out we were in a hurry.... and I was able to enjoy a second glass of wine because of his efficiency. It was a Friday night and the place was packed! I can't wait to go back next time and have a leisurely dinner! I LOVED LOVED LOVED this restaurant!!!

Wonderful & doggie friendly

By RickGraham5 |

We ate on the patio with our one year old Boston terrier. It was happy hour and the wine and the food were half-price. We had bruschetta, stuffed shrimp in garlic broth, clams & salmon sliders. And a bottle of very dry German Riesling. The bill was $53. We will be back often.

Great food, service, terrible acoustics

By DrForgot |

Been to original Grape many times but this was our first visit to the new location. We took our 88 year old neighbor for his birthday. I arrived first and was sure to tell the hostess and waiter of the celebration. Other than wishing him a Happy, nothing else - no dessert or candle for the birthday boy. Dinner was excellent, all four entries. Britton, the waiter, was excellent and attentive although as the place filled he became very busy. As the place filled the noise level became borderline intolerable and we had to shout across the table to be heard. The bill came and the birthday boy's desert was not comped and I was charged $3.00 for mushrooms on my pasta. Was disappointed with the noise, charge for one desert, and up charge for mushrooms. But the place was packed on a Tuesday night so they're doing SOMETHING right.

The second one is a good as the first

I love Grape Street and was so happy to see it open at Downtown Summerlin. This place has a great atmosphere, exceptional service and fabulous food. We had the tapas appetizer and it was excellent. Salads are fresh...do yourself a favor and try to caprese salad or the chopped salad. Fresh great food at good prices. I will be back anytime I am in the area.

Consistently good

By dog0921 |

We've been eating @ Grape Street since it opened 13 years ago. I like supporting a non-chain restaurant as well as the ambiance is good, food is always good to excellent, great wine selections and portions are very nice...they do not skimp...good value. The desserts are excellent. My favorite is the home made apple tart with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh caramel drizzle. We have yet to have a bad meal or experience in all these years.

A Pleasant Surprise

By mkolostrick |

Dinner for four. A very cozy place, small and quiet. Everyone loved the food and agreed we would be back. Portions were above average. Patio would have nice if it was not so hot. Very reasonable when you factor in our happy hour appetizer and $3 happy hour wines. Only knock was I did not care for my salad dressing but on the other hand the tiramisu was excellent.

Rude manger/co-owner

By Rose B |

Individually and as small groups we have visited this restaurant frequently. It was always a nice to go type of place but no longer. My recent visit was with a group of ladies to celebrate my birthday. What should have been an enjoyable evening turned out into an embarrassing and awkward ending due to the manger/co-owner Mooen. At the end of our meal he approached our table and announced he would have to charge us for a cake cutting fee as he had extra dishes and silverware that had to be washed. Never informed us before. (Let me add we have always asked if we can bring a cake in if it was a special occasion and were told no problem.) If that wasn't enough a few minutes later he abruptly came to the table again and told our group we did not spend enough money. (Our bill averaged $17 + per person , for seniors I thought that was not bad). I do need to say our server, Vanessa was wonderful. Mooen should reexam his customer service skills as he had none that evening. He may have been able to make a few extra dollars on us that evening however he lost most of us as customers.

Came for dinner while in town.

By Nailcutter |

Came for dinner while in town. We were one of 3 tables due to the Pandemic. Ordered a nice Ceaser salad to start. Bread also served. Had a very good chicken and eggplant parmigiana. Came with noodles. Prices reasonable compared to the strip. Service very good.

Not perfect, but still great local restaurant

By Fouregas |

Been going to this place for years when it used to be called Grape Street. Now new owner took over sometime ago and renamed Grape Vine. Interior still retained the same charm and menu very similar. Staff very friendly. We've been going to the new Grape Street at Summerlin location since it's much closer for us. Came by this visit to see how Grape Vine is. Mostly very good. Happy hours is a steal. Big plate of clams for only $8, however it's a little too salty on this visit. Baked Brie was nice and crunchy. Chicken masala very tender. Service was attentive without overbearing. Overall it's a good local joint for any occasion.

Best meal I’ve had in Las Vegas in 13 years!!!

By Debbie L |

Waiter was attentive (but not over), food was fabulous - can’t wait to go back! Roasted garlic, baked Brie, short ribs - mouth still watering

Wine lovers delight

By Don Silverman |

Good food and extensive menu, and a great place for serious wine lovers. Try the "wine flights" that are available.

Wine, Food, Fun

By Shirley R |

We went for the daily happy hour 3-6 two for one glasses of wine and about half price appetizer's. the baked brie was great! Wine is a little spendie but very good if two glasses works for you.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service

By Carolyn B |

We had dinner at Grape Vine under new owner Linda Kutcher. The food, service, atmosphere still the same high quality as under previous owners. Linda is very welcoming and friendly. We have returned several times now. I love the salmon and my friend who has severe food allergies can indulge in the Italian food she loves safely since the staff knows the details of the food preparation. Grape Vine now is our first choice.

Same good food

By roma2srs |

Visited this restaurant when it was Grape Street and now the name has changed to Grape Vine but food is still very good. They have basically the same menu and I had the lunch sandwich of eggplant parmigiana with jalapeños which gave it just enough of a kick. My friends had the salmon burger and they said they thought it was going to be chopped salmon but it was actually a piece of salmon which they said was very good. The restaurant has an extensive wine list but we did not have wine for lunch. Prices of the lunch sandwiches were reasonable but I did notice that the prices for dinner went up making it an expensive place to go for just a regular night out.

Good lunch spot

By CyclingGeo |

Grape Street is a cozy wine bar with good food, at least at lunch. No complaints as each of our party enjoyed his lunch.

Pricey Faire

By desertclimber |

Saturday night requires a reservation, unless you really don't mind a long wait. We arrived at 6:05pm, and were told it would be 30-35 minutes. 50 minutes later we were seated. Appetizer was good (Fried Calamari - $13), Seafood FraDiavalo was very good, but not a large portion - $24, Chicken Gorgonzola - $18 was disappointing. The sauce was terrific, but the chicken "pieces" were so overcooked & dry that I could barely chew them. The dish was supposed to have asparagus, but there were only 2 little stem pieces in the whole dish, each 3/4 inch long, with the diameter of a straw. We assumed (our mistake) that salad was included - paid $10 for 2 small salads. One beer is $6; a glass of house red wine is $9 for 5 oz. The waiter had the attitude of a bored musician - never greeted us & never even gave us his name. He couldn't explain the difference in the 2 sauces for the seafood dish, and was just disinterested. We think he may have been the bartender or the bar-back. $95 for dinner for 2 is kind-of expected at a big Casino Property - not at a local restaurant in a strip mall. I've read all the positive reviews, about the fun & attentive staff, so maybe we just had bad timing; but I believe they've gotten so popular & so busy that they're just a mill now. The staff is too busy to interact with clientele, and the food is not prepared with pride. But they ARE making a lot of money!

Good food, but too noisy

By Doris P |

Food is always tasty and served well, but the noise level is always too high. Sometimes the wait is lengthy.

THE GOOD; THE BAD AND THE UGLY

By Rayhaus547 |

The good: The décor, very warm and romantic. The service from the waiter and especially the lady owning the place, she was very attentive and welcome personally every guest coming to her place, a rarity in today's world. We ate the calamari and they were good, while not the best we ever had. The Mediterranean tapas was delicious, especially the grape leaves. The tiramisu was the best we had for a long time, moist and great flavor without being too sweet. Perfect. The wine was good and we enjoyed having half price for happy hours. The bad: the Caesar salad. We love Caesar salad and have it quite often. Many time the salad is not fresh but the dressing is good. Here it is the opposite, the salad was fresh and crispy but the dressing was terrible. The owner kindly offered us a salad to replace and take home. The dressing had more garlic but was still not a proper Caesar dressing. We go many times to this restaurant and will go again.

Great place to eat and have a glass of wine

By MsSmart64 |

It's a great place to eat and have a glass of wine. I always get the baked brie appetizer and most of the time I get the Penne Ala Vodka dish. We have been regulars there since they opened over 14 years ago. It gets busy on the weekends but worth the wait.

great lil restaurant :) but still not like it used to be

By Cicitalian |

Great place for lunch or dinner:) good haopy hour also....... romantic setting but its funny how people dont dress up even a lil for dinner anymore!! When I first came here years ago it was a better croud.....greek salad with salmon is always yummy-very large piece of salmon and always juicey.....sevice is so so?

Absolutely the best!! Enjoy the blackened salmon/Caesar salad. Their excellent wine list is extensive. Very accommodating staff who have been with the restaurant for years. Owners are the best!!

The West Lake Mead location has been there for yeas, great food, great space and super service. Huge wine collection if you like the grape!. We go here all the time, love everything we have ever had. There is a new location in the Downtown Summerlin Mall.

Fine Dining and Pet Friendly

By Billie E |

Perfect place to eat with your pet on the covered and partially enclosed patio. If you like quiet, linen tablecloths, great food this is the place. I had the Blackened Salmon Salad, it was the awesome. The pizza was great too, as were the meatballs. What was truly nice was the staff and their attention to us and the dogs. It was a great place for a family dinner. We will make this Café a regular stop when we get to Las Vegas.

Pleasant dinner

By Zmencontre |

Four of us dined at Grape Vine. We all enjoyed the food and wine we ordered as well as the service. The mussels, the fruta di mare pasta, lamb chops and chicken dish were great. It was quiet and we were able to carry on a conversation very well. Will recommend to friends.

Tomatoe Basil Soup to "die" for!!!

By 2014jcjc |

We stopped in for lunch at new Grape Street Café in Downtown Summerlin. We sat down to the smell of fresh, warm succulent yeast bread. Soup of the day was tomato basil soup. We did feast on soup and fresh bread. Delicious. Great service too.

Wine Bar with good food

By Lv51s |

Quite the little place they have here! If you are a wine lover you need to give this a try. Join their mailing list (email list), and get notification of upcoming events such as winery owners or wine makers dinners. These dinners feature specific wines to accompany a fixed menu. How often can you ask the wine maker a question face-to-face? I’m afraid if I lived nearby that I’d be there all the time. Half-priced bottles on Monday, and they have a much better selection than you will find in many places. Of course you could just sit at the bar and have a few glasses. So far I have no complaints about anything that I’ve eaten. They have a wildly diverse menu that is well prepared. I told them once they could serve only their braised beef ribs and be successful. Put a smile on your face,GO!

Great Meal.

The meal was phenomenal, the staff very accommodating with my food issues and presented my friend and I with a truly excellent dining experience. Thank you.

Grape Street great!

By ATC-ZOB |

Went to lunch at Grape Street cafe on a Friday. First visit. Great atmosphere. Nice patio space for nicer weather I noticed too. I had the special which was a hearts of palm salad with chicken. It was perfect. Nice light balsamic dressing. My friend had the steak salad with ahi tuna substituted for the steak. Rare and done perfectly. It was also fabulous. Cant wait to go back

Great Food. Greater Service And Beef Ribs To Die For(Call Ahead To Make Sure They Haven't Sold Out).

Expected Better Fare, better service

By DoctorDubious |

I dropped by here on a slow weekday , only 7 or 8 tables occupied by diners at 4 in the afternoon. The wine prices were a little high, but mostly better quality producers were promoted in their offerings. The food arrived in a timely manner. The house salad was tasty, nice dressing, but the veggies seemed warm, as if the salad or it's contents were cut quite a while ago, not as fresh as I would expect. The "C's Sirloin Burger" was tasty but over cooked/asked for medium rare but it was much closer to medium well or worse. The most disturbing aspect of the experience were the large number of staff who were gabbing, joking and totally into their social scene, rather than paying attention to the small number of customers in the restaurant. If there were any management people here, what did they think of that behavior? As an owner, I would at least have these people move to the back room, rather than displaying their lack of interest in their patrons. Not sure I would return.

Grape Street Downtown Summerlin GREAT

By tlw12 |

One of the best restaurants in DTSummerlin. Great food just like the original. Very cool place with a very nice vibe. These people know what they are doing. Don't miss it when in Downtown Summerlin

Great Find

By Mary P |

Nice quaint restaurant. The service was good but our server could speak up a bit. We had a hard time hearing him. The food was delicious. We had out of town guests and they really enjoyed it.

1st visit and, won't be last visit

By RiaBDogMama |

We had a restaurant.com voucher and, decided to finally use it. We were not disappointed. I had the Chicken Marsala and, my boyfriend had the Chicken Parm. The portions were very good size and, the food tasted great. We will definitely return. I also thought the bathroom was kind of cool and different.

Good food great bread

By Sanford L |

We both liked our meal, Libby had Eggplant Parmesan and I had seafood Fra Diavolo. Very tasty. Did not like that I left my credit card and the waiter, Bryan, did not see that I took it

So good!

By TravisCable |

Not only is the food outstanding, our server, Luis, provided some of the best service I've seen in a very long time. Try the eggplant parmigiana. You won't be disappointed. Great atmosphere to top it off.

Excellent food and service

By kencatron |

This place is very cute and quaint. The atmosphere is very nice and the décor is wonderful. It has comfortable seating and a very good menu. The service was very attentive and friendly. The entire experience gave off a feeling of warmth. The food was very good and the prices what you'd expect in a place like this - probably higher than normal. A very pleasant experience.

Excellent Italian Food

By gcsdiving |

Had an excellent meal with my brother. I had the seafood fra diavolo with the white wine sauce. Outstanding dish. Paste cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was delicious. Very fresh seafood in the dish. My brother had their clam chowder as a starter and said it was the best he ever had. He had the short ribs for his main entree and said it was really good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Don't come here with a large group!

By Mary M |

Don't go here with a pre-arranged large group! I am not the person to complain to restaurants about anything.. I normally just pay the bill an never come back if i'm unsatisfied. Our neighborhood club booked us for happy hour for approx. 30-40 people well in advance. The person who arranged it for us told the restaurant that we would need separate checks and they agreed. When we arrived, the server told us there would be one check per table but that we could each give him the credit card and he would figure it out. He claimed that that was policy, their computer couldn't figure out it per couple, and that our organizer was lying when they said the restaurant agreed to separate checks. They didn't staff up for our large group and the poor waiter was extremely busy and dealing with too many tables. He did not mention the table tip of 18% would be on the total before the happy hour discount. There was no happy hour menu, nor was this gratutity published. We have done other group happy hours and we know this is common practice (paying tip on the pre-discount price, and that would be fine.)... however other restaurants have figured out the bills for us. The tip on the total would also be fine if he had taken the time to tell each couple what they owed as he had promised. However he just gave us the bill and we had to figure it out. The first version of bill was incorrect in that it came in at the total price, not happy hour prices. So he redid the bill. This time it came back with the beer charged at an amount different from the main menu. He agreed to take off $1 per bill from the total but never did. A person in our group carefully computed each person's meal plus tax plus 18% tip. The UNDISCOUNTED total for 8 people for happy hour came to $190 (we each had one appetizer and one drink....their prices are high on appetizers... for example a Caprese salad with 3 slices of tomato, 3 slices of mozzarella and a splash of basalmic vinegar was $13.) Anyway we each paid in, and the total check showed we still owed $10.32. We asked the waiter to figure it out, he refused. We recomputed our bill and we said we were right and we wanted to leave. He said he would call the police (can they call the police if you only leave 9% tip?) Then he came back and said HE was the manager but he would "eat" the difference in the tip even though he felt it wasn't fair; which made us feel bad.... we were only trying to figure out the bill! Then he went and got the real manager who recomputed the bill and ultimately said, yes we were right. But before he came back we reluctantly paid the waiter/"false manager" the difference so we could leave. Our group is from one of the largest neighborhoods in Summerlin. I will say that this event is ultimately going to cost them a lot of business. We are not "cheap skates", they only had to explain how to calculate the total. And we would have done it that way... but we didn't know. In fact, ultimately I was the one who figured out WHY there might be a difference. The fact that they advertise "2for1" on drinks but don't say its "per person" and the fact that they don't explain the table tip, and nowhere is it in writing... and then had the nerve to say they would call the police on us for basically reducing the tip for their poor service... UM, even me, mild mannered me, just couldn't put up with it. The shrimp and crab appetizer was good, the house wine was mediocre, and the caprese salad was not good (tomatoes were hard, cheese was hard). The happy hours at other upscale restaurants in Summerlin have been far better (food wise) and less expensive and better staffed for large pre-arranged groups

Good Wine & Food

By Stacey N |

We had the wine & cheese plate which was good. The cheese plate had a nice variety of cheeses, fruit, bread, and crackers. I had the International wine tasting which had a Malbec, Bordeaux, and Burgundy all of which were goid c quality. They have a variety of different wine groups to choose from to satisfy your taste. We also had the tapas plate which had a very good selection of their appetizers. The roasted garlic was I urge favorite. We will be back to try their entrées.

Good Menu and Wine selction

By koleary89 |

First get the Restaurant.com certificate, the Food is very good and the wine selection even better, service is always good and prices are good as well.

Great underrated restaurant!

By JudgeSue |

I took my office to lunch to celebrate a birthday. Everything from service to food was excellent. Our party of 5 were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The menu had an extensive list of wines by the glass and bottle. The food (mostly Italian) was great from soup of the day to salads and even a pizza ordered to the birthday recipient’s specifications. A complimentary birthday dessert with lighted candle and expresses ended our meal. Price for what we received was reasonable. In my view, this restaurant is underrated. If I lived in the Summerlin area, this restaurant would be one of my regular haunts. I will be back nevertheless!

Love Love The steak salad oh my...

By Stephanie S |

I just love this little place. The service from Brittany is amazing. The steak salad is a once you have it you have to have it again type of meal. The owners are super friendly and welcoming. The food is always great and the half off wine bottle Monday's can't be beat.

Glad we tried it -

By Theresa J |

We used a Groupon gift and were pleasantly surprised! Service was great! The wine was very good. Our server explained each sampling. The fruit & cheese plate was great and hit the spot. The meals look great and we look forward to returning soon.

Top of the Class

By cspbarnes |

There was a party of 18 of us so you can imagine it could have been quite the thing to handle. The food was delicious. I had the blackened halibut with a side of ratatouille and it was very tasty. Some others in our party tried the pasta dishes and had smiles for miles. There was a potential issue at one point where the food for one half of our party was delayed because they treated the meal like two tables instead of one party but the foodserver and the manager of the restaurant stepped it into high gear for customer service and attended to the bottleneck and rescued what could have been the thing to sour the night. We ended the meal with some of those delicious desserts they have. I used my spoon to try others and I can tell you that the apple tart, the chocolate souffle, the bread pudding and the caramel gelato were treasures for the taste buds. I will come back here again and again.

Grape Vine is Divine

By Rose Harrington |

Attention Foodies in Vegas, this is an important review because there has been a change in ownership which is a wonderful thing. Here's why... 1. New owners are experts in customer service and it shows from the moment you arrive. 2. Staff is happy and their service shows it 3.. Food is much better then before. Menus are primarily the same. The chalk boards are still available for easy ordering. Amazing dessert menu beckons a visit just for coffee and dessert after a movie. But dinner is a must. 4.Wine list is superior to the old owners choices 5. Delicious, Outdoor dining, easy parking, incredible atmosphere and great wines... what more could you ask for from a neighborhood restaurant that feels like home. Vegas Tourists: Not too close to the strip, but if you can, visit Grape Vine Street during your visit

Hidden gem in Summerlin

I love this place. Their food is always something special. I recently got to attend a VGK game and enjoyed a new exclusive menu. I left so full. Great times even if the Knights lost the game.

Tobin James wine tasting

By Teresa K |

We came for the wine tasting and Adam took terrific care of our table!! He made sure we had everything we needed and he was incredibly personable. He really lacked nothing during our entire visit. The wine, of course, was great. And the food was just as incredible. Every course was delicious and Adam made sure we were taken care of nicely. Thank you for a fantastic evening!! Adam was awesome!

"My favorite place"

By stevec532 |

This place is a real GEM. I love everything about it.Great ambiance for a nice dinner or just hang out for a glass of wine. The gourmet food is outstanding and the wine list excellent. The servers are super attentive, a shout to Brittany! and the owners, Linda and Mo are warm and friendly.I take all my friends and visitors there, they love it.

Very nice Italian Restaurant

By Bill S |

Took my family there for dinner which included 2 young girls age 7. Mike was our server, who made the whole experience very enjoyable. We ordered several different entries among us and found the food to be good, although I would not stay it was the best we have ever had, but certainly good especially for the price. Wine specials were offered. The atmosphere is authentic and parking is easy almost at the door. All in all we would not hesitate to return.

Nice setting for lunch

By Adriennelin |

I enjoyed the decor of the restaurant and loved the restroom even though there was just one. I went for lunch and it wasn't too busy but I couldn't imagine how busy it would be for dinner and having to wait for the restroom. I had a vegetable sandwich that I don't recommend. My husband had a steak salad that he enjoyed. I had heard about this restaurant on social media but I wasn't impressed. For the money, I would rather have gone somewhere else.

Always a great meal

By mst12 |

We had the veal parm, and chicken piccata. What a surprise that a chicken breast would be so tender and crispy. My husband was the one who ordered the chicken and I couldn't stop eating it. So wonderful. I believe they called it broasted, amazing. The veal is always perfect. Love this place

Great Italian

By happywiner |

Went here with a large group for a family birthday. The service was great. Everyone loved their meals. I had a special, seafood medley that was fabulous. Others had the lamb, halibut and pizzas. Good wine selection and not exorbitantly priced. My in-laws dine here regularly and say it is always good.

Date night

By Kristils |

We tried this restaurant for the first time last night because I had a Groupon. It wasn't too busy but service was a little slow. However we weren't in a hurry so that was okay. I can't remember our waiters name but he was very friendly. We ordered the tapas plate as a beginner and enjoyed all of the items. Next was a small Caesar salad and a bowl of tomato basil soup, both were good. For our entrees, we ordered the bowtie Olivia and the special which was a 22 ounce bone in ribeye with potatoes, asparagus and carrots. The pasta didn't have as much flavor as I would of liked but I added some crushed red peppers. The ribeye I did not try but he said it was fabulous, lots of great flavor!! To add to our meal, we ordered a glass of moscato and a blue moon. We left stuffed and with lots of leftovers!

Consistently Wonderful!

By Debra W |

My husband and I have now visited Grape Vine quite a few times since the change in ownership. We were somewhat apprehensive - but Grape Vine has consistently served delicious food with wonderful service and a very relaxing atmosphere. We love it!! Food is Mediterranean style, with fantastic weekly specials. We have dined there with friends who have a restrictic diet (must be gluten free) and accomodations were made for gluten free pasta even though they do not have a gluten free menu. The service is really great and servers have great personality - ask for Rudy, Bryan, or Brittany who make your evening fun and relaxing. This restaurant is also a Wine Bar and you can purchase bottles for consumption at home. Every day they have a different "special", such as Mondays half off purchase of bottles or another day an entree and wine special. Food is great with an excellent Happy Hour menu. Unlike many restaurants you can sit at any table for this and not just at the bar. Their Calamari Rhode Island style (with pepperoncini) is out of this world. Can't say enough good things about this place. Prices are medium range - large selection of wines. Hope this restaurant is around for a long time - it is our new go-to place.

Not the only restaurant in town.

By TravelBrat2 |

Saw this on Groupon and wanted to try it out. We called in advance and asked could we make reservations-answer-NO. They said just come early enough (around 5:30 or so and they would be able to seat us no problem.) Except there was a problem. We got there and were promptly told that we would have a 45min to 1 hour wait. Now if we had not have gotten a babysitter and if this wasn't a special occasion we could have waited. However, with all the other places to eat in Vegas and being on a schedule we opted to go elsewhere and forfeit the Groupon. I even tried speaking with the GM (which didn't make a difference at all, he could have cared less that we were waiting). So we left and got food at some other restaurant close by. At least the other place understood that we couldn't wait around all night for our dinner. Honestly, I think that they put the Groupon out there to attract people to their business when it's obviously suffering from some deficit food quality, service or price. We were not the only couple who left either, once people found out the wait time, (after they had already called in) that the wait time was that extensive they opted to go elsewhere too.

Great casual cafe

By shebee12 |

The food is always very good and reasonable priced. Being in the neighborhood and not on the strip is great for the atmosphere. There are always special on the blackboard to choose from and everything is fresh and delicious. We have always found the waitstaff to be most helpful and knowledgeable.

Not impressed

By Avrmir001 |

Went tonight for dinner as friends had gift certificate. We ordered a Tapas appetizer, which was disappointing. The meat balls were ok,the goat cheese rolls were not that good, the eggplant was average. The tsatziki sauce was good yet bread served with it was too hard due to being toasted (more than it should have been). I then ordered the Greek salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was grossly under seasoned and the salad had way too much oil and not at all a greek salad. I would not go back as way too many places that are way better in Vegas.

Late night dinner

By mikeconnors1 |

Came here with my girlfriend and her college aged daughter. We started with the baked Brie appetizer! Incredible. Offset with the Granny Smith apple slices it’s just Devine. The girls both had raviolis and I opted for the bbq chicken pizza. It was fantastic but next time, and there will most definitely be a next time, I’ll get the stuffed pork chop! We’re not big drinkers but this place also has an extensive wine by the glass collection. Just an awesome place. Highly recommended.

Great Food off the strip

Grape Street is usually a great place to take friends and enjoy a pleasant evening. Not sure what happened on Monday 3/25. At 6 pm they were out of linguine; ordered a substitute pasta--no big deal except my pasta substitute with clams and white sauce was delivered dry with no evidence of any sauce. My husband ordered the seafood fradiavolo with white sauce and had plenty of sauce left even after he finished. Mine however was completely dry (I've ordered this dish before--usually very flavorful!) The waiter never came to check on the food until the other three had completed their meals. When I tried to tell/show the waiter--he argued with me! Unlike the other reviewer we did not use a groupon so it wasn't a dissapearing act due to a "discount". Hopefully GS cares in enough about their business to address tripadvisor concerns...

Such an amazing Restaurant for a family time

We love this restaurant, the food is delicious , their staff are amazing. My son love the pizza that they make there . For sure We're going to comeback

A hidden gem in Las Vegas....

By gdouce52 |

We went to this restaurant/wine bar because of a groupon. We probably would not have ventured this far from the strip if not for the groupon...... but it was worth it. The service, wines and food were all great. Rudy our waiter was attentive and very informative. I only wish we had discovered this place on one of our earlier trips to Las Vegas. It really is only a short drive from the strip so do yourself a favour and take the drive there.

Nice atmosphere, great food, huge wine selection

By Terri C |

Lots of food and drink choices ..... last time I was there, we tried the wine tasting (2 oz of 4 different types of one variety of wine such as pinot grigio), don't know if they still offer that. Atmosphere is attractive, there's an outdoor dining area (which is a little too close to the parking lot for my taste) and service has been friendly and attentive. We always use a discount certificate when we go.

This location was sold, its now the Grape Vine

By Hendersoned |

Same great service, menus and selections, new owner! The Grape Street owner is focusing on the Summerlin Mall location and has sold the west lake mead location. New owner is attentive and care very much the Grape Vine will be successful. Stop in and try it, I love it!

I had the pleasure to work from the Grape-Vine Cafe In Karachi for a period of 5 days. I was made to feel at ease and enjoyed the week. Asad and his Team are professional and very polite. The service was efficient, the place was always kept neat and clean, and regularly sanitized. I would recommend The Grapevine to solo and business travelers as a place to meet and have light snacks

Fabulous!!

By Cindy |

We had a large group for Happy Hour and some stayed for dinner! All of the people that worked at Grape Vine could not have been nicer! So warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable when it came to questions on the menu. Service was perfect! The food was fabulous!! From the meatballs, poke, salmon, lamb chops, pasta , profiteroles - all was delicious! And the wine list was very nice too!! We will be back!!!! Thank You!!!

My favorite place

By Stephanie S |

Monday's half off wine night. My new tradition. I love the steak salad! Decoy for wine and I am one happy lady! The baked Brie is amazing and for am desert if you have room the salted Carmel ice cream is to die for.. Best little place in town!

Average Italian food with very good wine selctions

By juliepsheridan |

The Tapas appetizer plate was very good, and the wine menu is very good. The food is average. I was disappointed with my steak salad. It wasn't what I expected. I have had much better at the Italian chain restaurant. Wine & beer are served from the bar. Service was just average. Our water glasses were never refilled and did not have attentive service. Prices are high for pasta and salad and so are the wine prices. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. Nice atmosphere and outside enclosed patio.

Good Wine Selection

By AlaninSeoul |

Have eaten here on several occasions when I am in Las Vegas. Their food has been of the same good quality each time. Excellent wine selection. They offer wine flights, so be sure to ask for their flight selection.

Quality food in a great atmosphere.

By SVenghaus |

A great place for a romantic evening or a quiet place with friends. The food is excellent. Try the salmon. Great service and an attentive owner who comes around to make sure you had a great meal.

Duckhorn and decoy wine dinner

By Corine M |

This review is for the duckhorn and decoy wine dinner 10.6.16 First off I will say over all great value for $85 per person plus tax and gratuity for app, salad, entree, dessert and four glasses of wine. However there is room to improve these events. Positives: Value: good Food: good Wine: good Raffle: good Half off bottle discount: good Negatives: Not everyone in the restaurant was apart of the wine dinner. Wine dinner guests were spread out throughout the restaurant. Kinda weird when table next to us were just trying to eat while wine dinner announcements were made. Raffle was good idea but... more is always better. Four bottles were raffled. It would have been nice for more wine andrestaurant gift certificates to be raffled off as well. This is in comparison to Flemings wine dinners. It was also a disappointment that we were unable to revisit the wines provided. We were told they were out, however bottles for sale?!? Huh. Open one and pour. Overall I will be back for happy hour but will prob opt for Flemings wine dinner. A bit pricier but worth the experience.

A Must Visit when in Las Vegas

By CraigDSellers |

We eat at Grape Street every time we visit Las Vegas, at least once a year. The menu is varied, the service good, the wine list great, and the food fantastic.

fair at best

By vegas rocks |

certainly not our favorite. Food is average as is service. The decor is also dated and just ok. We will not return since there are soo9oo many other options.

Decent local restaurant.

By John G |

If you want a good meal off the strip in Vegas. Grape Street is a good choice. They have a very wide menu to fit just about everyone's palett. Very extensive and great wine list. Nice atmosphere, for a fun or romantic dinner. I must say though they make their own bread and need to go back to school on this one.

Exceptional venue for dining and small events

By Eugene H |

The staff was pleasantly professional and the menu variety was simply splendid! The Grapevine covered patio was perfect for our small wedding party as was the private dining area. The wine selection is phenomenal and well priced with creative promotions. The setting is very relaxing and the daily dining specials are well prepared with fresh baked bread.

The perfect spot to celebrate New Years Eve!!

By Vegas-Wanderer |

A friend of ours got reservations for 3 couples for New Years Eve. The place was decorated just right for the holiday. As we came in, men were handed bowler hats and tiaras for the ladies. This was a 4 course, fixed price meal. The waiter was great and did not rush you. The staff was attentive but not hovering over you. They had a DJ playing Sinatra era music. It was not loud so you could hold a normal conversation. Excellent selection for each course. Portions were large. Ended up taking home half of the entree. The owners were there and they were getting in a party mood. We stayed for 3 1/2 hours and only left because we wanted to go see the midnight fireworks. People were encouraged to stay and a lot of them did. This was best New Years Eve we have had in the past 10 years. All of us have agreed that we are going back next year

Great Service- Great Food

By Motiva8ed |

We really enjoyed our dining experience at Grape Street Cafe. The Pasta alla Vodka was great. They have a nice wine flight as well.

Great Wine Bar and Cafe

By Tom B |

I have been to GVC 4 times now. 3 times for Happy Hour and once for dinner. Every time I have been there the staff has provided excellent service, an obvious sign of good training and solid management. The happy hour provides you with appetizers that are about 40% off... and all have been well prepared and well presented. From the Greek Meatballs to the tapas and cheese & fruit plates, the food is tasty and the portions are great for the price.... and try the Hummus. Happy Hour is every day except Saturday and Monday. Wine and beer selections or plentiful. We went for dinner on Father's Day We had a 14 oz. Ribeye, Greek Salad and Chicken Marsala. Everyone like their plates. One small complaint was that the house salad with shrimp was not the best, as the iceberg lettuce salad was a bit soggy and did not have much flavor, but the shrimp was tasty and perfectly cooked. All-in-all GVC is a great place to go for a nice reasonably priced happy hour with family and/or friends and the same for dinner. Take a look at their retail wine sales as well. There are some good deals to be had

average to good

By vegas rocks |

Some dishes are good but many are average. I like the salmon salad and pasta with vodka sauce. I have had very tough steak on a steak salad. I sent it back. The happy hour food is good.

Yowza!

By Sally N |

I just came home from having my birthday dinner at Grape Street. What a great experience! We were a party of 4 and everyone had a great meal. Even me, who cut and pasted from what was available! Let me explain. On the menu this evening was a seafood stuffed halibut, but it wasn't available, so I made up my own meal (with the blessing of the chef, of course). I had halibut in a beurre blanc sauce, served with mushroom risotto and sauteed spinach! Excellent! My husband had eggplant parmesan, my son had lamb chops and my (vegetarian) daughter had ratatouille. I can't say enough good things! The atmosphere and the staff were all terrific! I can't wait to go back!

Excellent food and service!

By Steve and Brenda B |

This little place is located in a strip mall about 10 miles from Vegas, but is worth the easy drive. Nice ambience and delicious food. We had the Bow tie Olivia with chicken and a dinner salad. Great taste and filling without feeling stuffed. We will be back!

Dining room is very relaxing

By MominOC |

Just like most places in Vegas the exterior should not be used to judge how nice a restaurant may be inside. Dining room is comfortable with lots of space between tables, candles & Italian music. Wish there was no TV but it was part of the bar area. Food was great. We had calamari, lamb chops and pizza and all were great. Lovely wine list as well. Servers were friendly and attentive.

My "Go To" Restaurant in Las Vegas

By Carole G |

We were in town for a convention and needed a place to unwind. Not wanting to stay on Las Vegas Boulevard (restaurants tend to be overpriced and noisy), Grape Vine Café was recommended to us. They did not disappoint! Our table of 8 was quickly seated, served cocktails and we finally began to unwind. The servers made wonderful recommendations from an extensive menu. I ordered the baked brie (incredible!) and the chicken piccata (equally incredible). Everyone cleaned their plates and could not stop complimenting the food and the service. And the ambiance....after a week of noisy crowds everywhere, the Grape Vine Café was like an oasis. I can't say enough about this restaurant, other than it's my first stop on future trips to Las Vegas!!

Food was fine, service not so much

By travellots112233 |

The food here is very good- but the service, not so much. We were served by a pretty sloppy young man whose indifference telegraphed "I'm related to the owners". Now, he may not have been, but...

Wine Flights, Tapas, Local Staff

By Jiah V |

Over 15 years of excellence in location, staff and food of course. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas. Everything is prepared fresh, they will substitute almost anything for you and the wine flights are refreshing. I love the atmosphere day or night it is a pleasure to dine in or outside and feeling like you are at home is priceless. Having familiar staff and a welcoming menu helps everything feel intimate. The food is mouthwatering and desserts could go on for days. Thank goodness I live far enough away from that location. Otherwise like some of the locals I would be visiting Grape Street 2 or more times a week.

Loved it!

By UNLVforme |

Great happy hour from 3-6 with special priced appetizers. I highly recommend getting the Caprese Salad with Chicken. Fruit and cheese platter is a great starter. Nice ambience, no full bar but wine is available. I like the patio style dining. Will be back.

Been 300 hundred times {no exaggeration} over the past 17 years.. Always Fantastic!

By Micheletraveled |

Just finally had to write a review of the best restaurant in this city. Perfect had birthdays here... lunches, dinners, smiles as ALWAYS good food and amazing service. Cannot say enough about the eggplant parm and my son will eat no other meatballs in this city. Daughter says best Cesar salad in the city and makes us go just for that sometimes! WE eat here every other week and can't say enough good things.

Not what it used to be

By Sonia J |

I used to frequent here regularly however the last 3 times I've gone it's been over crowded with limited overflow seating. Extremely long waits and very slow and rushed service. The food has lost its luster as well however it could be for the panic mode all of the waiters and cooks are in. You would think it was over crowded because it was good however that doesn't seem to be the case in my opinion.

Dry expensive fish!

By 115degrees |

First of all my wife and I went there to use our Groupon. A friend went with us to enjoy the happy hour specials. We were immediately told that our friend could not have the happy hour prices because we were using our Groupon, even though we asked for separate checks. So he had to pay full price for his wines. The fried calamari was good at $13 but the crab stuffed shrimp was just mediocre at $13. The special Blacken Halibut was overcooked and dry at $30+. Overall the food was disappointing for the prices charged and using the Groupon cost us a whole lot of money. An 18% tip was already added to our check so be careful and read the check before paying.

Consistently Good

By shebee12 |

We enjoyed lunch with our two small grandchildren. We were seated on the patio, which was great. Our waiter was wonderful and made great suggestions for the kids and ourselves. We enjoyed the baked brie as a starter and the remainder of the lunch as well.

Wow, nice surprise.

By BBVette66 |

I met my sister and her husband at Grape Street Café to use a Groupon. Having used Groupons in the past we were expecting a nice middle of the road place that was using promotions like this as a marketing tool because they have exhausted other means. What a mistake on our part. This is a quality yet relaxed and comfortable restaurant that far exceeded our expectations. We had the wine flights and cheese/fruit board using our coupon and liked the wines and fresh fruit so much decided to stay for dinner. And glad we did. Luis was our server and although new to the restaurant could not have been more helpful. Our dinners were delicious!

Must visit!! Family friendly.

By Renee Curtis |

My friends and family and especially my children love going into grape vine cafe either for a casual meal or for a special event. My kids are always accommodated and treated very well. The staff here is beyond amazing and we always feel very welcomed. We have gone here for years and have never had a bad experience (or bad food) get the sangria and the braised short ribs! Amazing. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent m

By Shelly A |

We were a party of 10 for my husbands birthday. My friends from New York dined with us. They said it "was one of the best meals they have had." Everything was excellent! I ordered the steamed clams as an appetizer, and was wishing I had another order when I got home that night. Everyone commented on just how great the food was. Great food, great ambiance! I just wish Grape Street was closer to Green Valley, I would be there 3 times a week!

Food was fabulous

By kathyhK9551WZ |

Our server was Rudy and he was attentive and quick. We had the Brie and it was a great start to our lunch. Their wine list was perfect for put light lunch. We split the special Angel hair with chicken and goat cheese. Cappuccino ended the event had a super time

After all these years, still one of my favorite restaurants

By mns06 |

I used to come here often with my best friend for dinner, but after moving away, I wasn't sure what to expect eight years later...well, it's still awesome! They even still have my favorite wine and chocolate fondue on the menu. I had the manicotti and it was excellent.

wonderful food great patio

By David V |

we stayed in Vegas over the holiday weekend and needed a place with a patio to eat with our little poodle. we found this wonderful Italian place with great food. the appetizer list was full if great selections and the entrees were delicious. all for a very reasonable price, great, friendly and helpful service. can highly recommend this place!!!

Disappointed

By skeerlee |

Went to dinner at Grape Street on Friday night (8-22-14) and for the first time very disappointed. From the greeting by a Hostess couldn't care less that customers were there to the terrible service by a waiter named Bobby! The only saving grace for the dinner was that the food itself was awesome as usual! The waiter couldn't be bothered to check on the dinners, he was too busy socializing with the Bartender! During all previous visits to Grape Street service and food have always been awesome, but this visit was not up to par! Maybe management need to re-educate the staff on customer service skills!

Birthday!!

By icyvegas |

I love this place.. couldn't figure out why i did not go this place before. Love to give a shout out to Linda K. For taking time to have our reservations on line.. thank u for making this birthday celebration for my friend so awesome.. Big portions esp the sandwiches.. I had the sea bass.. soo good.. Good service. May be offer more bread esp when waiting for the rest of our party to arrive (and slice them too) since we had a big party..we were sharing the bread.. literally just a slice for each person.. .. Otherwise we will be back

Great Service

By Christi F |

We tried Grape Street because we had a Groupon. The food was good, but the service was great. The night we visited, they had a beet salad on the specials menu that was very tasty.

Great wine

By Yvonne P |

If you like wine go here. They have a great selection, the servers are knowledgeable. The food was average to good. I ordered the turkey, sandwich and was told that they were out of turkey, a bit strange. So I had the salmon burger which was really salty but pretty good otherwise. Other people at our table had pizza and chicken marsala which they said was good.

Fantastic Food & Wine!

By 9th Islander Eats |

Wow, dined here with 7 other family members. This was my first time and the food and wine were amazing! For appetizers, we started off with Coconut Shrimp, Greek Meatballs, and Fried Calamari. It was so good, we ordered a second round of the very same appetizers! For dinner I had the Seared Ahi and have to honestly say that I've never had wasabi aioli on mashed potatoes, but the combination was delicious! For dessert I had the Apple Tart (sans the ice cream). And the wine, Austin Hope-Paso Robles, CA- was simply amazing! The wait staff was extremely attentive as was the owner! I highly recommend and I would dine here again.

Great service and tasty food!

By gardnar |

My daughter and I met a family friend for dinner. They have a cute, friendly hostess, who showed us to our table quickly. They have a nice wine selection. I had a Pinot and the lady friend a Chardonnay. Both priced well and we had a couple of glasses. None of us was especially hungry so two of us had the Chopped Salad, with chicken, and the other, a Ceasar, with shrimp. The bill was reasonable and the service great!

Must Visit!

By Lori Z |

I loved this Italian café and wine bar. Two of my favorite things in one place! The décor was better than expected so dress nicely. The food was delicious and the wine selection terrific. The food was offered at reasonable prices and the portion was perfect. The per glass price was a bit higher than typical but they also offered a wine flight for $15 which was worth it and I discovered a new favorite wine. Tony at the Bar is personable and made me feel very welcomed, he is attentive to his guests and helpful. The owners are new and very pleasant. They each came over and we had a nice chat. I wish this place was in my neighborhood it would become my go to place!

Excellent Cuisine!

By Marith H |

We only had time for a quick bite for dinner and decided on the Grape Vine Cafe on Lake Mead. What a happy choice! We shared a chopped salad & Tuscan soup served with fresh baked bread. It was delicious! The cafe offers a warm & elegant setting. The hostess and the waiter were friendly & helpful. They got our meal out quickly & we made it to our next destination on time. They have a full menu, and we’re definitely going back. We’ve added the Grape Vine Cafe to our favorite restaurants.

Super dog friendly

By fitzgeraldgrace |

We love this place, we come visit every year and our dogs love it. Rudy is our usual server but this time we had Todd, and he was eaqually as awesome. The chicken is off the charts and the pizza is so good we had it for breakfast. The owner came over and talked to us about her Maltese. Wine is always fun, and we will always come here for an amazingly doggy fun time, with killer food.

Excellent Food and service

By wblu |

Stopped in for dinner as this is pretty newly opened and the service adn food were excellent. We sat on the more casual side w/o the table cloths etc and it was really noisy do to all the hard services in the new building, hopefull they can do something to make it more pleasant. The other side of dining may be mor quiet. The chairs are a real turnoff. The seats are so large a normal sixe perosn cannot lean back and relax but must sit up stratght, they missed the mark on these chars. All that being said the food was excellent, servie as well and the desserts ..pur yummy. We will come back again when in town.
