We were staying at a nearby high end hotel and used yelp to find a nearby breakfast restaurant. They open for Breakfast but also serve lunch and dinner. We arrived just as they were opening. It was obviously a place well known to locals as there were students from nearby schools, police officers and other customers who appeared local who quickly filled the place. they had outside seating like a sidewalk cafe, but we chose to eat inside with Air Conditioning. Our breakfast was superb. My wife enjoys Oatmeal and it was among the finest she'd ever tasted. I ordered eggs benedict and it was done to perfection - both dishes exceptionally savory and flavorful (as much as OATMEAL can be flavorful, that's my wife's thing but she raved about it). The big shock came when the check arrived. We'd been staying at the Ritz nearby and had grown accustomed to paying dearly for meals. This delicious breakfast at the Greenstreet cafe was incredibly reasonable (less than $20). I wish I lived in Miami, I'd be a regular.

Greenstreet is a classic restaurant in The Grove, great bar, and the food was very good. Salads here are huge! While the service was good, we were served the wrong salad. No GF bread

Such a cute local spot in the grove very close to the mayfair hotel. Service is quick and food is to die for. Try this spot anytime you are in coconut grove Miami Florida.

Enjoyed my veggie burger with side salad. It was good but not particularly special or memorable. My husband enjoyed his fish wrap with sweet potato fries. Enjoyed sitting outdoors, listening to music & watching the grove pass us by.

We went with a couple friend, the attention was grate and the food excellent; in my case I ordered a Filet Mignon that was perfect done!

So I am on a solo trip and read about Green Street and so while shopping and walking around I decided to stop in for lunch. I chose to sit at the bar and was immediately greeted, at the door, and once again when I sat at the bar. The two ladies who were behind the bar were friendly and provided great service. I got the Holy Mezcal cocktail -- delicious and Tomato Fresco - angel hair pasta and it was perfect, light and tasty -- also highly recommended by one of the ladies as her favorite dish. I am from LA so I felt the food was also very fairly priced. Definitely recommend if you are in the area

Service was friendly but not very attentive. Wings, burger and strip steak were all cooked properly and served promptly. Beer selection is good. Prices are fair and reasonable. No frills but none expected. Overall a good experience.

I live in Miami and we go at least once a month for Brunch. The plates are huge, delicious, and very affordable. Highly recommend it.

We went today to celebrate my daughter’s 25 birthday. We had the best serve we have had in forever. MJ was so awesome. She was checking on us making sure everything was great. Food came out on time hot egg were perfect. I could not have asked for a better birthday breakfast. MJ was the best for sure we will be back in 2024.

Really great services; staff were very nice and helpful. The food was great too. We tried the feta and spinach omelet and scrambled eggs; both very tasty. Coffe was good too and they refill your cup as many times as you want.

We stopped after a busy afternoon at a meeting, and had a decompression drink and some light food. Open, airy, and what an amazing bartender! Very conducive to conversation and just feels like what Miami outdoor entertainment should be like.

Stopped in here for a dinner at 6p and it didn't appear to be too busy. Server took a VERY long time to bring drinks and food was slow to appear, too. Hamburger wasn't anything special considering how long it took and how pricey it was. Tables are really close together. Bathrooms not well-maintained/cleaned. Would not go back here. Plenty of other options in the area to try.

By Far the BEST Breakfast in Coconut Grove for the hungry ones : Cinammon roll pancakes and French Toast to die for. Came here every day of our stay in Coconut grove and it was so good we didn't feel like trying another place !

Waited 30 mins to be seated as this cafe is incredibly popular. It was worth the wait. I ordered gluten free pancakes as coelliac, they come in 2's which I was going to have bit server said they were quite small so went for 4......left 2 on the plate untouched. 2 would've been plenty, they were huge. Will def be back. Great place, spotless toilets, great servers, well done guys !

This is a Miami regular spot for brunch. They do it very well and they have forever. If there is a downside it’s that it’s often packed on weekends but it’s a can’t go wrong choice in the Grove and a pre movie tradition.

The service was excellent, once I entered I was greeted by the bartender and shown a menu. I informed her of my celiac disease and I was catered for. The food is pricey though, but the service and location is ideal.

Went in there for my birthday, sat down ordered a beer and wanted to get some food. Right away i started ordering off things and right away the bartender tells me “we don’t have that.” totaling about 7 items (basically all the red meat was unavailable.) I then stated okay then ill just have the beer as I wanted to go somewhere else to eat. Once I paid with my credit card on the hand held device, it specifically asks “how your experience was,” and I select it was awful to have that many items not available off the menu. Seconds later after pressing complete, a gentleman walks out of the back of the restaurant and stands in front of me and says, “hello, (very aggressively) did you just leave a bad review for us?” I said excuse me? He aggressively repeated the statement. I then asked him, who he was, I then asked what his title was because normally (and I’ve worked in food and beverage for 12 years) in that position a person comes over politely and excuses their interruption and gives their name and title which this unprofessional manager did not. He then told me who he was and I then told him that I did leave that review. He told me rudely “okay that device is not to leave bad reviews about the restaurant and the food, its only for bad service from your server.” I told him but I didnt like the service. He reiterated that the device is not for that purpose. I just finished my beer and left. Horrible time, will never go back.

Local in the center of Coconut Groove, always very busy both day and night. They offer a complete menu, with many dishes typically "made in the USA", but not only. Excellent offer of salads, also vegetarian, abundant and all composed with quality ingredients. Fast, courteous and attentive Service. Good value for money.

You can tell by the long lines! The tables outside are very popular but the inside is nice too. It is a fun people watching place!

My group came from downtown Miami to coconut grove, fla have breakfast at green street. It would have been better if we had eaten Downtown. Food didn't taste fresh. Service was nice.

This message is to warn people with vegan interests. It is best for you not to come here. I requested an order of the Smashed Avocado Tartine. Their original order has eggs and feta cheese. I requested for the meal to be made plant-based, which the server did not say she had a problem with that being done. I received one slice of toast with a thin layer of avocado spread and some pumpkin seeds on top, along with a very small side salad. Same price. Please be warned that this restaurant will not add replacements for the animal products that are removed.

We actually went there in 2020. It was my birthday celebration with immediate family. Lots of fun. The Nutella French toast is a must! Will definitely go back for more

We were so excited to visit this place again after 3 years away, and wow what a complete disappointment! Starting with the hostess who would not seat us in the are we preferred, even though we asked twice, another host accommodated us to sit in the shade.(it was very hot). The waiter was very nice, and very quick to take our order. We always carry some disinfectant wipes with us and this time we used it on our hands as we usually do, and used a new one to Wye the table down.... it turned almost black from all the dirt it picked up from this disgusting table... I almost left, but as we had eaten here before we were excited to taste the good food again... When the food showed up, everything was cold, and I had asked for crispy has browns, and I received what looked like burned match sticks mixed in with the other potatoes. When the waiter came and asked how our food was, we said cold, and he said okay and wailed away. wow. so we just paid for our overpriced cold food and left, but as we were leaving we noticed that the bus bay was cleaning up the tables with a used napkin from another table, and then setting new plates on the tables... no wet rag no disinfectant, nothing! this is why our table was so dirty. Now we could not get away from here fast enough, and on our way out, a couple asked how the food was, and we replied cold and not good. There are plenty of other cafes for breakfast in the coconut grove area, sad that this one has gone so bad so quickly.

We decided to have brunch on Sunday with friends while we were in town. After a bit of a wait, we finally got seated and ordered Spicy Bloody Mary's. There were wonderful and served in the cutest can glasses. Reminded me of a Campbell's Soup Can. Our server was very attentive and lovely. We ordered Eggs Benedict, Eggs with Steak and an Omelet. The food was great and eating outside enjoying the beautiful weather with friends was a bonus as well. Definitely a do over when we are back in town again.

Always a pleasure dining at Greenstreet Cafe - cant go wrong the food - Breakfast, lunch or dinner - extraordinary !! The friendly service keeps us coming back. A Grove tradition!!

Very vibrant. Plenty outside seating as well as indoor dining. Main dining room resembling a bookstore. Friendly staff. American style offerings. Good taste. Overall enjoyable experience.

This is a place where you can people watch while enjoying good food. It's situated on a busy corner in the Coconut Grove area of Miami, with indoor & outdoor seating. The food can be quite good, though when they get really busy, it can suffer a bit. We like it a lot, & will return whenever we get down to Miami.

You can always depend on great food, service and a seat with the best people watching in CoconutGrove! Wonderful outdoor bar & tables! A must visit!

We enjoyed the people watching. Breakfast was ok but nothing special so freely overhyped. As a result, we wouldn’t rush to return

Pretty disappointed today after so many recommendations from friends who live in the area. Got a table around peak period lunchtime after 20 minute wait. The table was by the window sill outside and we asked to switch to a nicer table (and prepared to wait a little longer). Once moved it went downhill from there on. The female server (early 20’s possible Spanish orientation) just got grumpy from them onwards. Left us for a further 20 mins before taking our order when other servers were looking after other tables with great attention. Steak and peppercorn sauce not available so had filet Mignot instead. Completely overcooked and I wasn’t even asked how I’d like it cooked. Not all bad as got talking to some locals on table next to us. Broccoli and fries was good. Not in hurry to go back, may try one more time before we go back or there sister restaurant next door. A smile a good service cost nothing in my eyes. Minimum tip given by my partner when settling the bill. Lovely area in the grove. Adam Martel

We stopped here for breakfast and enjoyed a table outside. Wait staff was good. We had an omelet, scrambled eggs and nutella french toast with oj and coffee. The egg dishes came with potatoes. All were delicious and large portions. The oj was so good. The total for the three dishes was just under $50. The location was nice, great street to window shop. Definitely left full and happy.

This place is great. the food and service is amazing. It has tables outside with great a great family and pet friendly atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind that there is always a waiting time but if get there around 9:30 am it will be a shorter time. But the food is worth the wait.

Very good restaurant with a nice atmosphere! The welcome is warm, the food is very good and for a reasonable price. We really loved the terrace! I recommend and we will return!

We were hungry and looking forward to enjoy a nice meal, after 45 minutes we decided to leave ☹️😩, at 11:20 pm with no restaurants opened

Place looks nice from the outside, people working here are nice. However prices are to high considering the quality of the food. We ordered two different plates of pasta, as an italian I must say the have no idea how to prepare a pasta. Please do not order pasta of any kind here. Maybe they do better with burgers.

We had breakfast here and it was excellent. Perfect pancakes and excellent service. The coffee was also very good. We’ll be back for drinks soon.

Wemade a reservation for 7pm, but we got around traffic easily enough to arrive about 15 minutes early. We were seated on the patio almost immediately. While they could have used another outdoor heater (it was late February, after all), a cup of hot tea for my wife made her confortable, and a Cuban Old Fashion did the same for me. Excellent ceviche appitizer to share. She had the Impossible Veggie Burger (yes, the taste and texture were like meat), and I had the Short Rib with polenta, which was amazing. My only regret is not having dessert. I'm the guy whousually gets lousy service at a restaurant-not this time. And being outside meant we got to make friends with the bulldog at the next table, which we also enjoyed.

Given a table without waiting. Got our drinks and ordered. 15 minutes went by and no food. 30 minutes than 40 and finally got our food. I could understand if they were busy but they were not. We think maybe our order was lost but no explanation was give. Good was good but not worth the wait

Nice location, vibe. The servers are attentive. The food was tasty, especially the cinnamon roll pancakes. I would love REAL MAPLE SYRUP. The burger was good, the fries were not my favorite (too thin, cold).

WOW - we stopped here on a whim o our way to Miami Beach. Had a 20 minute wait, but was worth it. Unique atmosphere, cool vibe, and superb food presentations. Loved the cinnamon pancakes and the french toast. Fresh Lemonade was the best EVER too. We will be back!

Hands down best gluten free pancakes and omelets in town. Have never gotten sick. Large portions, reasonable prices. Delicious brunch.

Came as a recommendation from the hotel staff we walked from our hotel it was good food and it was a lot of it the pancakes were good and so was the omelette I recommend this restaurant especially the cinnamon roll pancakes

Had dinner here early one Saturday night. Didn't know that they offer free sparkling wine to women at Saturday Happy Hour. Once we were seated, it was obvious from the volume level that several tables had been partaking of more than one round of bubbly. They were loud! Our server was pleasant and efficient. I ordered the seared tuna salad and my wife had the salmon salad. While both were well-prepared, the serving size was smaller than expected given that the prices were in the low $20 range. Overall, not a bad place, but I'd try others in the neighborhood before returning to Greenstreet.

We ate here twice during a four day visit. The first day we were joined by our two adult children. As the omelettes are large, my daughter and I shared a cheese and mushroom omelette and a bagel with nova spread. One ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and the other scrambled eggs with asparagus. We each found our meals to be fresh and tasty. The second morning, my wife and I ate alone. She ordered pancakes with bacon and I managed to eat the entire omelette and bagel myself (it was too good not to get it again). All of us enjoyed our meals. Service was good and the prices were reasonable.

I wanted to see what all the fuss is about as this place is always so busy and I’d read good things. Sadly it did not live up to the hype for me. We went for lunch. I had the impossible burger and my hubby had the blackened mahi. Nothing to write home about. My burger was bland and just tasteless. Same with my husband. Service was prompt but definetly not friendly. Our waitress was going through the motions. We had breakfast across the street at Lulu’s the day before our lunch at Greenstreet and it was a much better experience. This place is way overrated based on my one meal there. Can’t recommend.

This is our go to place for brunch. The coffee is excellent and they keep your cup full and hot. They even warm the milk. The eggs are perfectly prepared and they have multiple option for people who don’t want toast and potatoes with them. Service is good. Prices are reasonable.

A reasonable atmosphere on a prominent corner but service was slow and food was average. We were served the wrong beer and the vegetarian burger tasted like meat, so suspect that was also a mistake but was too hungry to ask for a replacement. The sweet potato chips were excellent.

First Class Bartenders!!!!!!!! ask for Jeni or Sabina.... Best Bartenders in all Miami!!!! Made the drinks perfectly!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn’t feed my dog scraps from Greenstreet Cafe absolutely DISGUSTING. STANDING WATER, ALGEE in the water they serve the guest. Standing food. Absolutely unacceptable conditions of a restaurant. Regardless of the age. The owners should be ASHAMED to feed ANYONE food from a restaurant like this!

We had to wait for a table but it was worth it. The wait staff is outstanding and the kitchen provided us perfectly prepared meals. The bloody mary's are awesome. We will be back to try more of the menu.

We went Greenstreet Cafe and I can't say enough good things about it. To start, our waitress Ellie was absolutely amazing! She was so nice and very helpful in making my decisions on my food and drink. The drink I got was very refreshing after walking around all day in the heat. When it came to my shrimp linguine and all I can say is "I can't wait to have it again". The taste and the texture of the noodles were so good.

We had breakfast on Saturday morning, good services, tasty food, mid range price, they have seating in the sidewalk under umbrella, in a very good location

We had breakfast at this restaurant and we loved it! The place is very beautiful, nicely decorated and inviting. Food was very good but a little pricey. Service was correct but not as nice as we have seen in other places. Overall very good!

We had the mushroom and cheese omelet which was large. Could easily split that. The Nutella french toast was amazing as well. Nice place inside, nice outside seating as well

Tops for the pasta dish. Unique lasagna was very good. Happy hour wine starts a 4pm. Worth a trip. 100 characters for review? Okay xcvbnmlkkjhfdaqetyioljgaxbmmxzbnhdswyokdaahvn

In the past years this has always been a great place but nowadays it seems to be totally disorganized Is management not there? Same observation from a number of friends Food still OK except a few issues with freshness

Great location with a large outdoor seating area. Had breakfast on a Sunday so it was definitely quite busy, but we had great, friendly and fast service. The food we ordered was delicious, however I wasn’t asked and didn’t think to mention that I prefer my poached eggs a little more cooked so they were quite runny :( Loads of options in the menu, something for everyone.

I have enjoyed Greenstreet Cafe most time I visit Coconut Grove. A true treat not to be missed! True Brie Pastry, cheeseburger and Salmon Sal’s were all excellent!

Greenstreet provides a beautiful ambience in their outdoor seating. I went with my wife and three children. The service was quick and they were on the ball with everything. The food was delicious also. My wife and kids loved the coconut french toast.

We just had an amazing breakfast/brunch at this place and I would highly recommend you to check it out! Our server Elizabeth was excellent, she made sure that we had everything we needed and went above and beyond for us to have a good time. We’ll be back!

We visited coconut grove, beautiful area. This restaurant was recommended, wait was long but there are several little boutiques to walk around and browse to entrants in yorselves. service was slow, they did come and let us know the kitchen was backed up, but nothing was brought out to compromise for the wait. A little coffe on the house or small fruit plate, is inexpensive and would probably get me to come back. Don’t order the eggs Benedict, not sure what that sauce was, in addition the poach egg was more like a hard boiled egg. The potatoes were tasty, but could not be eaten they were so dehydrated that it seem like they were “nuked” multiple times to warm them up. My daughter ordered the coconut crusted French toast and it was delicious. The fruit plate was ok, but lack presentation. I am really disappointed at restaurants I’m Miami overall it feels as though there is so much tourism, that they can serve anything and we have no choice....there to make the money and little thought is placed in the food. Service was great!

No surprises, but good nonetheless. Come early or be prepared to wait up to an hour! Espresso martinis are best for breakfast!

We sat outside on the street as it were and enjoyed a nice meal and drinks with friendly and helpful staff and servers. This venue was within walking distance from the Hotel Arya and nestled among other retail shops and businesses. The food quite diverse and tasty.

Nice location on the strip in Coconut Grove. I had the lamb burger and a beer. It was a great combo. We sat on the patio and watched the dozens of luxury cars cruise by.

Excellent pasta dishes and salads. Very reasonably priced. A great atmosphere outside for people watching. Server was hard to locate a couple of times, but extremely friendly. A great spot – will definitely be back!

Fantastic meal! We greatly enjoyed the linguine with clams and the lasagna. Service was attentive and atmosphere was very lively. Fun part of town for walking around and great people watching.

Impeccable atmosphere and service. The food was excellent! The staff is smiling. The view is beautiful. Proximity to several attractions.

After a ridiculous Lyft ride we were dropped off half a block from this charming restaurant. We are not familiar at all with the area and were very hungry. Greenstreet Cafe did not disappoint. Enjoyed casual dining on the sidewalk, complimentary champagne for "Ladies Night". There were 4 of us and everyone enjoyed something different. Highly recommend if your in the area.

We had a late dinner at Greenstreet, our first time there, while visiting friends in Miami, and enjoyed it very much - the salmon was delicious, and others at the table said the same about their meals. It was lovely to have dinner outside and be part of the Coconut Grove night life scene on this lively street corner. Our waiter couldn't have been more accommodating. Prices were reasonable. We would definitely return!

Stopped here for a late lunch with my partner and mother. Pet friendly patio. Service was prompt and the food was delightful. Great place to people watch in the Grove. Will definitely come again the next time we venture north.

Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. Perfect brunch spot in a nice area. My family and I were passing through on our way to the keys and stopped here for brunch on a whim. We will definitely return.

We visited in November and now again in August and the quality was still excellent! The food was delicious, from the mushroom ravioli to the salmon to the filet mignon, everyone enjoyed their main courses, so it wasn't surprising that desert was ordered as well and thoroughly enjoyed. Service was excellent as expected.

Food is average. Nice street cafe but rude service people who shouts at customers. They may be tired from working but hospitality business mean they have to be at least Nice and respectful to their customers. One staff shouted at me for going the wrong direction to the toilet. THEY NEED TRAINING oN now to treat paying customers. Low class attitude of the staff.

Visited this restaurant just this morning for a late morning breakfast. Very very average. We sat outside the atmosphere was pleasant, service was just OK, omelette over cooked, bagel tasted like it was from Publix.

Greenstreet is a place where locals and tourists both love to go. It is a mainstay in Coconut Grove. They have wonderful coffee with an option of lattes, americano, and even frozen coffee drinks. The menu is versatile. Most people go for brunch, but it is a very good dinner option as well.

We may have been unlucky...we returned after a 3 year absence. We had to wait longer than advised for a table. Service took a long time too. After ordering we were informed that they were out of Portabello Mushrooms and Avocados which meant that 2 of our 4 ordered dishes had to be reordered. The ‘melted’ cheese on one of our sandwiches was like plastic and we were very disappointed. To be fair to the manager we were not charged for our lunch, but that wasn’t why we went there.

After a long day of travel, we were looking for a late-night snack and Greenstreet Cafe gave us the relaxing atmosphere, tasty sangrias and light fare we were looking for.

Having gone many times in the past, sorry to report an unsatisfactory experience this time. Prices have increased incredibly and the food quality has deteriorated. Covid is the excuse for every shortcoming. Heard it all before. The restaurant needs to pick up it's game.

Leisurely lunch outdoors and good people watching. The outside overlooks a much traveled pedestrian and auto traffic area. Their fish wrap was good as was the veggie burger. Would go back. May want to make reservations 1st however.

My mom went here before and I must say her food looked delicious so we decided to go back I ordered the pasta it was delicious I recommend going here if you like it and if u choose to eat it the day after it still taste so good and the desert is amazing truly a wonderful experience (this picture is mines the day after)

We had spied this location while walking the night before.... It was convenient to our hotel and NOT a chain restaurant so we were happy to go for breakfast....

Perfect patio, partially covered. People had dogs and servers provided water bowls. We ate there on a drizzly morning and stayed warm with their delicious coffees. Healthy and tasty food options. Comfortable space. Terrific service. I felt like I was in the Miami that is beachy, palm-blown, quiet, and fresh.

The food is good but be careful they don't really give you a check but a remote credit card machine which includes the tip. Since you're not looking at an itemized bill, it's easy to add another tip....not cool

We stopped here for luch while out and about with friends. We sat outside on the pavement and watched the world go by. Its atmosphere was great. The food was also very good. The never ending coffee refills was also a great touch. Some of the dishes that our friends had were just to big.

I used to get my grandmother breakfast here toward the end of her life. I can still see her picking up the bacon while she was sitting in her hospital bed. Just one piece and she never finished it. But just knowing it came from a restaurant in the Village of Coconut Grove meant something to her. She moved to the area from Mississippi in the 1950s. Recalling my memories of her happiness made it easy to figure out where my family should eat when we recently lost my aunt: in the Grove at Greenstreet Cafe. We grew up in the Grove (I remember when a grocery store and laundromat were where Cocowalk sits. I watched puppet shows at the Coconut Grove Library as a kid). Anyway, Roberto was wonderful in getting a table reserved for us. Elizabeth was a great server. We sat outside to stay safe during this strange pandemic. My cousins and I loved Robbie's Lemonade! If I wasn't driving, I would have had two! I ordered the Angel Hair pasta. It was so good. As best I can tell, all of my family enjoyed their meals. It was so much fun. Thank you, Greenstreet Cafe. You made our trip. And you did so well on a Friday night, too! Sorry I have only one photo. We had so much fun, I forgot to take pictures of the food!

Wife and I went for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. We've been many times over the past 10 years and Greenstreet's is consistently good.

We went to this restaurant on a recommendation. With it being my birthday and only having 3 nights in Miami we wanted to ensure it was a good night. On our arrival we were seated inside and the restaurant looked very nicely presented. They bought out a bottle of water while we looked at the menu, as soon as I took a sip of the water I noticed the glass/water smelt funny so I told the waiter who had a sniff and agreed, he agreed to change the glass and bottle, which he did. He took our order of drinks, starters and mains. I had Oysters to start and as I would find out later that night Big mistake!!! I was about two oysters in and my daughter was about two wings in when we were served a bottle of wine and my wife’s starter still hadn’t come out. We told the waiter who said he was sorry and that they would only take 2 minutes to make so off he went to make them and as promised 2 minutes later they came out so the wife started to eat her starter, at this point my daughter had finished her starter but had left two wings and I had finished my 6 oysters then another waiter comes out with our mains, while my wife is still eating her starter! He picks my starter up to make room to put my Fillet Mignon down and then takes my daughters starter without even asking if she had finished and put her Lasagne down he also put down some mash which was for my wife’s main even though she was still eating her starter! I was gob smacked, but said to the wife I couldn’t send it all back we will just deal with it, then about 2 minutes later he bought out the wife’s main. All three mains were very nice. After that disaster we told them we were all full and wouldn’t have any dessert, but would pay and go home. Now the fun started for me about 01:00 in the morning my stomach was churning, so I got up and ran to the bathroom where I found out the whole world was to about to come out of my bum and mouth. I couldn’t switch quick enough to sitting on the seat and kneeling in front of it. All I can put it down to is the oysters as my wife tried everything of mine others than those. So it’s safe to say it’s one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a restaurant, so if I could give less than one star I would and I would also highly recommend every one stays well away unless you like eating your mains while your wife is still eating her starter and you have a cast iron stomach.

Love, love, love the pancakes. But they’re not the same without real maple syrup. Please bring back true maple syrup!!

Corner location, watch the nice cars go by. The food was good, service was good, usually a busy place but with every other table not full the neighborhood does not carry the same ambiance.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch and had to wait 30 minutes for a table. They said they would call us, but we came back and they seated us. It looked like most people were having breakfast, but we opted for lunch. I had the fidh wrap and my wife had the lamb burger. Both were very good.

My friend and I got dinner here as it was walkable from our hotel and looked cute. We sat on the patio and it was overall a nice experience. They were out of several beers and wines but the waiter was gracious about it and said they had had trouble staying well stocked with the holidays. The lobster ravioli was delicious. My friend had the chorizo Mac and cheese as her entree and it was also yummy. Service was ok, the waiter didn’t check in frequently and never asked if we wanted another round of drinks. There was also someone panhandling the outdoor diners - not the restaurants fault but it was uncomfortable.

After sampling various restaurants in the area we finally had the chance to try the Green St., Café. We were enthusiastic as we’ve had good luck in the area. Unfortunately from our arrival it was not good. To begin with there was so much food debris everywhere it looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned in days. The state of the bathroom was shocking. And the restaurant was simply not that busy. The food quality was mediocre at best. I had the Mahi which tasted like dried out shoe leather. The prices are exceptionally high for the quality and quantity of the food. The wait staff seemed friendly and that was about it’s only attribute. One and done.

I had read a few reviews on here and knew it was near our hotel (short walk from Mayfair) and I'm sure glad we listened. We had breakfast here one day and dinner another night and both were excellent. Dwight our server for dinner mentioned it was Happy Hour at the Oyster Bar and even though we had our eye on other apps we tried a half dozen. However, listen to them when they say get a dozen. We should have as they were fresh and excellent. Better half had Linguini Shrimp and I had the blackened Mahi Mahi and both were cooked perfectly. Attentive and not pushy server. Breakfast the next morning was also incredible Server was David and he took excellent care of us. Veggie Omlet and a Spinach Feta omelet were perfect. Also, great coffee!

Amazing Place… always consistent! A must in the Grove! Sunday brunch is always busy and wonderful. Family perfect …we love Greenstreet

Greenstreet Cafe has a large outside terrace with plenty of shade. It's on the corner of the busy mainstreets so ideal for car and people spotting. We went there for breakfast and also lunch and both were good. For lunch the salad isn't that big so if you are really hungry you better choose some additional plate or go for another option. The breakfast was plenty and good. Since it is a popular spot be prepare to queu but it is worth it.

I stopped for dinner and took a table on the sidewalk, which was pleasant. The server arrived promptly, and because I came for pasta with a white wine and clam sauce, I ordered immediately. It was served in timely fashion and didn't disappoint. The server returned to offer grated Parmesan and again later to check on me. The serving size was ample and just right, for me. I would have ordered a salad or appetizer but the prices suggested these are intended to be shared, and I went solo. They have an oyster bar, but sadly for me, I cannot consume raw seafood, and I saw no menu item with cooked oysters. My only complaint is the suggested tip amounts were based on the total bill, including tax. To its credit, the cafe stated this clearly on the bill. However, I find this practice to be a newly trending overreach. Tips are, and always have been, for service. Nobody tips the tax collector. IMHO, this is a red flag that speaks poorly of the owner, especially at an upscale establishment. It raises the question, “what else are they doing that is pushing the envelope in the wrong direction?”

I went there 5 friends who are local, and it was everything I could have wanted. The 20 or so Italian specialties all looked interesting (the one I had was very good), and there was a small selection of other items. Service excellent, prices fair. Way too noisy outside, but inside it's quite possible to converse.

Visited in March ate here twice, food is good to fair, service is very good though... maybe I just didn’t feel it..

Outdoor restaurant in Coconut Grove where you can watch the passing parade. Service is bit slow but the food is tasty. Hummus appetizer at $10.00 is good and the Fig Salad with added chicken at $20.00 is a little pricey but delicious. Sometimes it is quite crowded.

Having heard all the positive comments about the Greenstreet Cafe from friends and coworkers, my daughter and I decided to try it for ourselves on Easter weekend. We loved it! What a great place and we loved the outdoor dining! We started out at the friendly bar and were recommended to try the French 52 bubbly. Delicious and it hit the spot! Way better than the Mimosas and Bilinis that I have tried. We didn't have to wait very long and were taken to our table on the side across from the Barnacle park. I ordered the Ham & Cheese omelette with the fried potatoes and caramelized onions. Yum! My daughter ordered the Cheese and Mushroom omelette. Also very good. We decided to split the Nutella French Toast, which was sinfully delicious!! We also wish to compliment our server, Leandra, who checked on us always at the right time and took great care of us! We had a really nice time and can't wait to go back. Parking was fairly easy considering we were in the Grove. We didn't have reservations but we didn't have to wait long for a table either. Mostly adults, very few kids and a wheelchair person would have no problems with fitting in due to distancing of tables. I didn't see anyone wearing a mask but we were outdoors. You gotta try this place!

The atmosphere was nice-cozy inside, and outdoor seating, the service was great- very friendly, and my son loved his steak. I, however, was disippointed in the snapper dish I had. Not being from Florida, I always order seafood while there. This was the worst I had the whole trip, and pricy. But, I gave it a good rating because my son loved his skirt steak so much.

This place has the best breakfast. We were just in Coconut Grove for a few days, and we ate there twice. Our kids love the varieties of pancakes and waffles. My wife and I have tried a bunch of the omelettes. On this trip, I really enjoyed the scrambled eggs with salsa. This place is phenomenal. We like sitting outside particularly in the winter and spring. It was a little steamy during this visit, so we enjoyed sitting inside. We must eat here every time we're in town. We always miss it when we leave.

First visit on our way to airport. Nice area(photos attached) & cool place. Interior very smart inc restrooms & outside great for people watching. Staff very friendly & helpful. Food was tasty - scrambled eggs & steak delicious. Pity we were in a hurry- would love to have enjoyed our visit for longer. Will just have to come back!!!

I used to come here a lot but now they replace the refill sodas w 8 oz glass bottles...so i needed 3 bottles w my meal. Amazing that they need to get the customer dissatisfied to make more money. The good thing is that there are many new options in the Grove that will not try to rip you off. Thanks God to competition.

We had 3 breakfasts in Miami and we usually like to try somewhere new everyday, but this place was so good we came back twice and on the second day we ordered six breakfasts between four of us to ensure we properly sampled the menu. Our favourites were the blueberry and granola pancakes, french toast (Nutella or coconut for something different), and the watermelon lemonade was fantastic! Have a great start to the day here!

We enjoyed our lunch there. The wings were to die for. Cooked just right. The fries were small but they were good too!

This place is really good!! I tried the falafel and a combo plate and everything was excellent. The desserts are tasty too.

OMG! Cinnamon roll pancakes! Need I say more??? The icing was a bit over-the-top sweet for me, so I was glad I had it on the side and stuck to a bit of real maple syrup. But these pancakes were so light and fluffy, with a rich cinnamon flavor, that they really didn't need anything else. My mouth is watering just thinking about them now! The side of berries I requested was perfect, a good amount and very sweet. This restaurant is very accommodating. My friend custom ordered her eggs, and she said they came out wonderful! Our waiter, Alex Perez, was very accommodating and took every little request in stride. He seemed to anticipate our every need. Where some restaurants make you feel there's a problem, this place did not. So when we wanted to switch tables because cold air was blowing on us, or we wanted to tweak a dish, nothing was a problem and they made it happen. Service, atmosphere and food were all excellent, with a cool vibe. It's also in the heart of Coconut Grove, another fun area. Loved the place and if I lived in the Miami area, I would be a regular here.

Justin with the glasses was an amazing server Excellent on point fast service and super funny “For the clouuuuuttt” Definitely and restaurant experience my family and I would never forget I strongly recommend the filet mignon

Wow! We were rushed from the minute we arrived. We felt we had to order fast, eat up, and get lost. There was no joy in our meal. The bottle of red wine was served hot…never good. The waitress came by at least three times within the first 10 minutes asking if we were ready to order. So much for having an enjoyable, relaxing meal. We were forced to inhale and run. WTF? This place got great reviews..,no so much from us!

We were attracted to this restaurant while visiting Coconut Grove because of its big patio and vegetarian friendly menu. The food was okay. The service fair. The flies, TERRIBLE.

The place to go! Great food, service and ambience! Food is delicious, never a disappointment! Any time is perfect, try brunch too!

Not great service at the outside bar. Had a bartender - she was neither friendly nor fast. It was more like I was lucky she was there. She asked me to pay the tab as her shift was ending. I would have preferred to give my second drink's tip to the much nicer bartender that took her place. She didn't print out my check - next time I will ask for my check. And I love how the tip starts at 18% - she was more like 15%. Note to self. My salad was ok but the crummy bartender left a bad taste in my mouth. Greenstreet - you can do better.

There's absolutely nothing 'green' about this place as you're seated on an overcrowded terrace next to a busy highway, crammed together like sardines in a tin (they obviously chose to maximise their capacity instead of the quality of their food. To illustrate the greediness of their seating arrangement, look for the 'oubliette' which is the high table in the darkest corner under the roof where you'll need a powerled to read the menu.... unbelievable). Food is okay-ish, nothing amazing.... compare it with the food one would be served in a roadside 'Cafe' rather than in a quality 'restaurant'. Service is okay-ish, pretty slow in our case and sadly not genuine. Too bad.

A breakfast menu that's good all day (great omelets!), great salads at lunch in large portions: Goat Cheese Salad + chicken ($24) and Greek Salad + Shrimp ($28) and fine wines at $6/glass, and great service -- we had two lunches here in a week.

We decided to eat lunch at Greenstreet Café because it was busy and other restaurants were empty. The menu was appealing, so we had a stroll for 15 minutes while they found us a table, The food was very good, my smashed avocado with poached egg and green salad was delicious. It was a little slow coming out, but the café was packed and our waitress hurried things up for us. I also had a local craft beer, on tap. In all we enjoyed our lunch and it wasn't overly expensive.

Stopped by here for brunch on my vacation to Miami. The brunch menu was amazing- I wanted one of everything! Made up my mind for the red velvet pancakes- SO GOOD. Their Bloody Mary was really good as well.

Nice atmosphere, good food with nice presentation and quality ingredients. Excellent service and fair prices.

Loved this cafe. Busy, vibrant with great food and service. Lovely ‘people watching’ setting. Fast service, clean restaurant and friendly. Thanks Green Street - loved it!

This place is known for its breakfasts, which are served also during lunch. We were hungry for a salad so I had the salmon salad- wow- delicious. My hubby had the ahi tuna salad which he said was really great. 2 for one mojitos were really refreshing. We were sorry we didn't have more time in town to try the breakfast.

The restaurant was empty. I made reservations thinking it was needed but found out that it is no longer a good place for food. Thought we would have a nice father's day dinner but all the dishes we ordered weren't good. The lamb burger which is my favorite was very dry and the truffle fries were cold. the pasta was also on the cold side. the place was empty there was no reason for the food to be cold - will not return

Hate to criticize the chips but you can’t enjoy the dip with stale chips. Others didn’t complain but they’ll eat anything. Food was good the cheese flavor in the shrimp linguine was very strong. The creme brûlée was little sweet but excellent texture and thin layer ofcaramelized sugar. Seating was was nice service very pleasant. Difficult parking.

We went for breakfast on Thanksgiving. The place was PACKED! But, they sat the six of us quickly and our service was great! Our meals were very good. Recommend!

Beautiful location. The service was perfect and the food was fantastic. They have a diverse menu and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend the salmon dip and the lobster ravioli. Definitely going back!

I have been coming here for years and this has always been a great location. On this visit the service was extremely slow to the point of ridiculous. We had to order drinks from the Bartender and still wait for the server to bring them. The prices are on the high side. It’s not the place I remember it to be and I would pass on a future visit.

We sat on the bar at this nice restaurant in Coconut Grove. They have a seating area inside and outside. Our bartender was AMAZING, so funny and helpful. He recommended the flatbread and the Mediterranean plate. They were both amazing. The taste of that fresh hummus was great, the tabuleh was delicious, I didn't like the lentils but I loved my flatbread. So well prepared and crispy. I would suggest cleaning better the wine glasses, but other than that it was a good experience. We enjoyed our time here but I'm definitely coming back for their brunch!!!

I am a Hotel Manager and usually very focused on details, quality and good service as a part of my job, therefore it's is difficult for me to find a place where all my expectations are fulfilled, and here I was struggling with some details... Then, thanks to the service and kindness of the Manager Luben, everything was perfect... Food is great, drinks are really good (don't miss the lemon pie!!!) but most importantly, proffesionals like him made this such an exquisite experience! Congrats to the restaurant for having someone like him leading. I will come back and will recommend Greenstreet!

I really love d the rustic ambiance of the place and the unique decor. It was not a disappointment at all. It truly lived up to the reviews. The food was excellent, not salty which can give you a headache. The service was on point also definitely a repeat visit is in order

A reasonable enough restaurant, but hardly exceptional. For the price, the portion sizes were modest, but nicely cooked. Server was professional. All in all, an okay restaurant, but nothing stands out as to why we’d want to return.

We were there for Lady’s night! Seriously... all ladies get first two drinks free! We shared a Margherita Pizza and some Calimari... it was delicious! This Kansas girl hopes to return soon!

Everybody who eats at a restaurant wants a good meal. Hopefully a great meal. And every restaurateur wants happy customers who enjoyed their visit and comes back often. Earlier this summer my wife and I stopped for a late dinner and it was not very good. As a fairly avid reviewer I expressed my concern on TripAdvisor in a previous review. Within a day, the owner contacted me directly and wanted to know on what date we had dinner and at what time. So he could try to find out why the meal we had was subpar for their standards. It's not very often that something like this occurs. I was impressed that the owner not only said they cared, but proved it by following up. Given the reaction, I'm fairly certain our one experience was an anomaly. Needless to say we will be back and look forward to the good meals we had had in the past prior to our last visit.

My family loved dining here. We sat outside and the food was super! My son said the Alfredo sauce was the best he had ever had. My husband loved his Mahi-mahi and I thoroughly enjoyed the warm goat cheese salad. For an appetizer, my son ordered the mac and cheese without sausage. It was so good, we all helped him eat it! It started raining while we were dining and the staff was quick to move us inside. Great, friendly staff and great food!

Since it opened in 1990, Greenstreet Cafe has earned a reputation as the premier restaurant to see and be seen in Miami's posh Coconut Grove neighborhood. Located at 3468 Main Highway, near Peacock Park, alongside Commodore Plaza, it is open from 7:30 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and 7:30 to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. A cafe with a lounge and patio, it offers American food all day. While breakfast attracts the most rave reviews at Greenstreet Cafe, the lunch, dinner and late-night offerings are popular, too. My wife and I stopped for a late breakfast. My wife chose a grilled cinnamon bun and coconut crusted French toast with applewood smoked bacon. I opted for a bowl of organic oatmeal with cranberries and raisins and steak with two scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties and toast with strawberry jam. For lunch, meat lasagna or a cheeseburger with Angus ground beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato are recommended. For dinner, how about Caesar salad, veal Milanese Margarita with tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, mashed potatoes and broccoli, red snapper with white wine sauce, tomatoes, asparagus, onions and mashed potatoes, key lime pie and apple tart with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream? Hey, was that Clint Eastwood who just walked in the front door? Or maybe Kim Kardashian?

Every now and again my wife and I have breakfast here. And, frankly, it is the best breakfast restaurant in Miami. Our choice is the swiss cheese and ham omelet. Well made and very tasty. Go early on a Sunday [as we usually do] and you will often see a legal celebrity sitting at one of the tables.

We had dinner at your restaurant last Friday. The food was great as it is since so many years. Unfortunately it was not a great experience at all with service. We had Dwight as server. From the beginning to the end he did nothing but rushing us. Rushing us taking our decision about what we want to order, He was not pleasant, disrespectful, No thank you, didn't care, didnt pay attention, nothing but keep rushing up to the end to get the credit card. His attitude was far to be professional and management definitely need to fix that and have someone who respect customers and treat them well. He didnt even thank us and/or wish us a good evening !

Great service and food , omelets sandwiches Benedict eggs , pancakes . They should keep the AC on all the time . We were sweating .

Enjoyed a superb breakfast with friendly and attentive service. It is a very popular spot and always busy. We had ample time to chat and never felt hurried or rushed. Will go again when we visit.

Yesterday’s night i had a wonderful night in Greenstreet Cafe the food was great but the service of our server Patricia was perfect. She was kindly and take care of us during all night even when the place was full. Thank you Patricia

We visited to celebrate a birthday lunch. The place is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We enjoyed our delicous lunch

We ordered Scrambled eggs, nova Benedict's and a mushroom omelet, To drink, Cafe con leche and a watermelon lemonade. Everything was delicious!! Our server Raul was very nice. Highly recommend !

The first night we ate here, three of us had desert as we had already eaten and my son ordered a burger. We asked to be seated outside, which was no problem and very entertaining. The waitress was very friendly and flexible. My son's burger was perfectly cooked with the bacon and egg addition he had requested. The fries must have been good as he cleaned his plate. I ordered the brie in puff pastry that is big enough to share with the entire table! Our key lime pie was a true key lime pie, but the absolute crown of the meal however was the Nutella french toast that was absolutely delicious! We returned the next night for a full meal and although it was a Saturday night, didn't have to wait too long to be seated outside again. This time all four of us ordered a full meal. I ordered the mushroom ravioli that was out of this world, my son ordered the Impossible burger again, other dishes included the snapper and the angel hair pasta, all of which did not disappoint. Next time in Coconut Grove we will definitely be back!

We had our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner there and we all had a wonderful time. Food was delicious and the service professional. I highly suggest this eclectic and interesting restaurant.

Came here for brunch with family and had a really good experience. I had the goat cheese omelette, which I enjoyed, and family members had benedicts. It may sound weird, but I enjoyed the multigrain bread they use for toast - recommended! Everything was solid, including the coffee and drinks and service and would certainly come back!

We actually took take out food from this place. The food was really tady, good and with decent prices. We had file mignon, a cheeseburger, a veggie burger and finally mahi-mahi fish with mashed potatoes. We were super happy about the food. Next time we will not bring the food home with us. We will stay at the restaurant and feel the atmosphere. // BR JR of Sweden

First and foremost let’s talk location. Perfectly situated in downton Coconut Grove for people and puppy watching. Rustic and eclectic collection of outdoor seating with hightop, table, bar and loveseat options. Significant indoor seating is also available. Excellent diversity of breakfast options of which we sampled: caramelized banana pancakes to which we added chocolate chips, applewood smoked bacon, as well as steak and eggs with home fried potatoes. Service was excellent. Lots of drink options from freshly squeezed juices and smoothies to alcoholic beverages. Diet Cokes come out cold in a tiny bottle (6oz) which has both pros and cons in that they are frosty and arguably the most delicious Coca Cola product but a little pricy if you, like me, drink a lot of volume. The water was tasty and served in chilled bottles for tabletop enjoyment. The caramelized banana pancakes stole the show—wow were they good! The home fried potatoes were very good with a distinctive seasoning which we both enjoyed. The scrambled eggs were very good—fluffy and tasty. The bacon crispy and delicious. The steak regrettably did not live up to the standards for the rest of the restaurant or even Miami in general. Flavorless, tough with the gristle and fat left on the meat, the steak is a MUST AVOID. Last but not least, clean restrooms well stocked and designed to afford a little privacy. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable restaurant and one to which we would return and recommend.

We had breakfast here on last day of Coconut Grove arts festival. Our eggs were to order, toast was good and bacon fairly crisp. Service was adequate. Lots of dogs! Outdoor seating is plentiful but the place is very busy.

This place is awesome! My friend had posted a picture on social media and I asked her where it was. I came with my boyfriend and we enjoyed the food so much! The French toast is amazing!! We loved it !

My husband and I went to this restaurant while on our vacation during the month of Feb/2020. We had been very excited prior to our vacation making this one of our stops after doing much research online about cool places to eat and this was such a beautiful location it was top on our list. Once there we were escorted to our table and waited with excitement for a wonderful evening of fine food and ambiance. After about 20 minutes a server from another section noticed we had not been looked after and asked us if we had been served yet. We said "No" for which the waiter left to inform our waiter to look after us. At that point our waiter Jason came over and took our order not even making note that we had now been sitting there for at least 30 minutes. He took our orders and left. Once again 20 minutes or more passed without bringing us our drinks and we actually had to ask another waiter if he could at least followup on getting them to us. Our food finally came being brought out by another waiter. The food was delicious but our waiter disappeared once again and we never saw him until we were ready to leave. The waiter Jason ruined our night and expectations of this restaurant and unfortunately we will never be back.

Revisit after a few years due to lockdown. Came for lunch. Still as usual with good atmosphere. Food tasty and reasonable Worth a visit

Greenstreet was recommended to us for breakfast, and what a great suggestion! This really is the taste of America with great food and so much choice. The service is superb, friendly and helpful. The omelettes and coffee, a great combination! We liked it so much we kept going back, and for dinner too. What's not to like?

Such a cute little spot in the best little neighborhood in Miami. The service is great and I’m so happy we stopped in. The food was fantastic esp the Jamaican wings and the pink margarita!! We’ll be back when we travel here again!

We were attending a wedding in the area and stopped in for breakfast the next day. The location was beautiful. We ate outside and the weather was perfect, they had umbrellas overhead to block the sun in this case. The coffee was great, and both our entrees were delicious.

Excellent breakfast, but I Don’t know why the place always turns the A/C off . Omelets are great also the French fries !!

Our first night in Florida and we were a bit worried about social distancing - this restaurant did not disappoint. Tables were far apart and we were able to relax and enjoy meal with no worry. Service was friendly and quick and dinner was delicious. Recommend the lobster ravioli and the filet. Cocktails were also creative.

This is a good place to have a hearty breakfast. The service is excellent. My daughter had the Nutella French toast and loved it. I had an omelette with feta and spinach, it was okay. The neighborhood is super cute to walk around after eating.

Good food, a nice neighborhood experience. We had breakfast on a weekday having awakened early. It was easy to get in, and was free parking on the street before 9AM. We enjoyed it. Had we waited a few hours there would have been a wait and very expensive parking. But it is always fun to be there.

Lance took care of us right from the start bringing us a basket of bread followed by two yummy pina coladas (that you could actually taste the rum in) followed by calamari. Next up was shrimp linguine and mushroom raviolis followed by key lime pie. Everything was delicious, service was great, and prices were on par. I should note that we dined on a Monday night and therefore the restaurant was not overly busy.

We arrived with no reservation and Yohance made recommendations for our drinks and dinner. The lobster ravioli was fabulous as well as the mushroom pasta with skirt steak. KEY LIME MARTINIS are the best!

We had a lovely outdoor dining experience celebrating our anniversary. The manager sent over complimentary champagne. After a delicious Caesar salad, lamb chops and braised short ribs, our wonderful server , Thomas, brought a yummy brownie with a sparkler.

The food was delicious and Yuri was the best, always smiling and attentive at what we needed. we let her know we did not have much time, so she was careful our food was on time and even she took it to our table. Everything we order was delicious.

Enjoyed a very good omelette (spinach and Feta) outside on the patio. Service was good and a most enjoyable Bloody Mary came in a unique container . Definitely if you are in the Coconut Grove area, it’s a must.

We requested a vegan pasta dish and they accommodated us. Asked for a table outside on the street which was lovely. Service was excellent and the whole wheat spaghetti pomodoro with broccoli was delicious! Would definitely return for another meal.

This is such a great people watching restaurant. The breakfast fare until 2:45 p.m. is wonderful. You can have your eggs and oatmeal too if you order the omelet.
Great Food. Great Service. Great Ambiance.
We had a great lunch on the patio. The food was great, as was the service. We enjoyed sitting outside, but the inside of the place is charming, too.
