Be sure to eat breakfast at the hotel. The food is great and the staff make you feel right at home. My wife loved the omelet.

Certainly reasonable for in-hotel dining, and very good food. Service was very nice both times I dined at this location.

Typical hotel restaurant. Limited choice of food and quality is just ok. Price quality is therefor not what it should be according to me.

We are here while waiting to check into the hotel. We had a really good cinnamon margarita and a couple beers. We got the crab dip and potato chip blue cheese appetizers. Both were good but small portions. The blue cheese dip was the size of a salad dressing ramekin but yummy.

Grill & Vine is a cozy yet refined spot inside The Westin that’s quickly become a favorite of mine. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the food is consistently fresh and well-prepared. Whether you’re in the mood for a perfectly cooked steak or a light salad, their menu has something for everyone. The wine selection is top-notch, and the staff are friendly and attentive. While it’s a bit pricey, the quality and experience make it worth it. Perfect for a relaxed, upscale meal.

Delicious, well prepared and elegantly presented food. A variety of healthy options with details of nutritional value listed. Sound boring? No way! All so tasty, filling and delicious. Well priced. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is inside the Westin hotel on the 2nd floor. The happy hour choices are limited to the more expensive things, and drink selection is decent. Food is pretty good, but the prices are a bit higher. If your looking to take someone out on a date, or have a business meeting environment I'd say this place is a good choice.

The grilled salmon was good, not over cooked. Any restaurant that has Stags Leap Artemis on their wine list deserves compliments just for that. It is an excellent Cabernet Sauvignon.

Five stars for the fact that Grill & Vine is an excellent in-hotel restaurant, a rare find. They clearly recognize they don't have a captive audience in Westin guests since options outside abound. Brisket tacos were excellent as was apparently my dinning companion's steak. Really good bar, service and overall atmosphere too.

Okay, confession here, I travel a lot. Weekly, 52 times per year. With that, I dine out frequently, and look for particular things at a restaurant. 1. Consistency. I order a steak, a filet to be exact. Got a different peice of meat.. I figured we'd try this again, days two ordered a cheesecake, oddly enough it was prepared differently than the night before. Besides the inconsistent food, the serviced was okay, however below what the prices would indicate. I cannot say I would recommend this restaurant, but it's at the Westin, so those who stay here will have to balance convenience with value.

We had a late lunch here while staying upstairs in the Westin. Service was pleasant, food was very good, prices were a bit high.

Traveling solo for business. Received a warm greeting and amazing menu suggestions from the staff. Michael and Alexa were the best - took care of me. As suggested, start with the cheese plate and then try the pork chop. I never order pork out, it was the best pork chop I've ever had! High recommend.

My wife and I always dine here while staying at the Westin. The salmon is ALWAYS incredible as well as the deviled eggs. We love the great food and staff so much that we always make a point to stop in! Side note: if you can grab Michael as your server, you won't be disappointed! So attentive, kind, and AWESOME!

very laid back and comfortable. will take advantage of food selection next time back. if in downtown Dallas check it out!

I had two meals here while staying at the Westin Dallas downtown. There is no doubt that it is convenient if you need to grab a quick bite and don't want to leave the hotel. Both meals I ate here were lunch and interestingly the place was not all that busy. I eat vegetarian for the most part and was able to find things that worked for me, including a veggie panini sandwich, and an entree salad with brussels sprouts (always a favorite) and other roasted vegs. It was good, but I have trouble pushing it into the "very good" category.

Great food and wonderful staff. Breakfast offers a wide selection on the buffet, as well as a great ala carte menu. Blueberry granola pancakes with the sugar bacon is definitely something you have to try. Lunch and dinner have a lot of the same items on their menu- you must try the brisket tacos or if you would prefer something on the lighter side their strawberry quinoa salad is delicious.

We went to this place with some friends and we had a very good time. Food was good and the service was better. Try the salads we had two different ones and both were fine.

Had awesome appetizers and lunch after the Rock N Roll 1/2 marathon with friends and family. Josh was friendly and a great server. He made helpful suggestions and was very attentive. We had St. Arnold Spring Boch beer on draft. It is a Houston craft beer that is top noch! We also had the Bison Chili, the Scallops, the Brussels Sprouts and the best Bibb wedge salad! Everything tasted great! Our friends loved their food as well. Highly recommend! Josh, thanks for everything!

We ate here as a group of 10 after a conference at the Downtown Westin and found the food really exceptional, which is rare for a hotel. Everyone was happy with what they ordered.

I dined at G&V twice for lunch while at the Westin for a conference. The first one included a burger with asparagus. It was very tasty. The bartender went out of her way to get me a Coke Zero can from gift shop location because there was none available behind the bar. The burger was cooked to order and very good. The second meal was grilled salmon. I had it prepared plain, without the salsa and other topping. Again, perfectly cooked to order, and it was one of the best i've ever had. The staff checked twice to ensure it was cooked properly. The asparagus was very good. The sea salted fries were good, not great - but I still ate most of them. You can sit in the lobby/common area, work, and order lunch, or watch a ball game at the bar.

A group of us had Breakfast on Morning. The service and attention was good at first. Then more team members joined us. Total about 15 people not counting the general public. ONE WAITER. We had a meeting to attend. I am sure the waiter was working as hard as he could, at the same time the food coming out was slow. The price is High. I had a ham omelette orange juice, coffee. $31.00 very high price for breakfast. I do not believe anyone went back. We all choose other places to eat. Very nice restaurant. Five star I would say but a five star price for breakfast is over the top. It's eggs. It's coffee. When you are on a budget or a company allowance. $31 for breakfast takes a chuck. We had to wait for ever for our bill to pay. They Hotel may have been over whelmed. At the same time the Hotel knows how many rooms are reserved and how many stays are each night. Then again they may not have a large crowd or people returning because of the price. As I state in all my reviews. Would I return. On this one because of price NO. No matter if you are ordering buffet or off the menu. It's over $30. They're over choices near the Hotel. Best of Luck.

I was staying at Westin Downtown for only one night and was eager to try Grill &Vine. I am so glad I did. This is where I met Michael, who not only made my solo dinner enjoyable but a fantastic waiter. He suggested the chamomile mule, so smooth, but the Red Gulf Fish special. This white fish was done to perfection with dirty rice and a shrimp sauce. The ealing was completed with a Creme Brule that had exact balance of carmeluzatio to the smooth custard. Michael, thank you. I will be back to visit you at the Grill & Vine.

I dined on a Sunday evening when few customers were there. The food is Southwestern, but they accommodated my dislike of spicy food and my allergy to black pepper. The pork loin was excellent (too much for me to finish). The people were friendly and, although they were short staffed because of the flu, service was fine. I had a window booth that was comfortable although downtown Dallas does a poor job of street lighting, so nothing much to see. I'll be back to this place.

Bright and spacious decor. The food and service were good. A good option if you're staying at the Westin. I liked the deviled eggs Dallas Style (with brisket on top).

Sat at bar and had a salad for a lunch and duck tostadas for dinner. Great service. Always used my name. I asked for some bread to go and they went above and beyond without charging.

Very open setting with friendly service. My waitress was Mulu and she was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and they serve you a pot of coffee and a chilled glass bottle for orange juice.

Was frauded by the waiter. Ordered a 2nd bottle of wine. Wanted to have same as the first bottle. According to the waiter they had no more bottles of the 1st wine. So he brought another bottle that was the same grape and same region. What he didn’t told us was that it was $70 insted of $38.

Much better deal than I expected in a hotel restaurant. Great breakfast burrito for under $10. Coffee was good too and the staff was extremely helpful setting up WiFi password.

Was not impressed by the food... The fries were cold when I received them and were limp like they had been sitting in their to-go box for hours.

Staff were really lovely.... Every day for a week I had Lox and Bagel (Smoked Salmon Bagel and cream cheese) and a mug of tea with side of fingerling potatoes. Really great service, and a lot cheaper than the $25 wanted for the buffet.....

Located inside the Westin Hotel, this place had a really nice variety of breakfast food. The breakfast buffet was as nice as a European breakfast buffet, not expected in Dallas. The coffee was pretty good also.

Friendly service, nice atmosphere. Grab a booth with a view of the park. The food...average, with issues. For example, a breakfast of eggs and toast meant eggs...then a 15-minute wait...THEN toast. And the toast wasn't toasted. Note to the kitchen: The eggs and toast should come out together. And if the butter doesn't melt, then it's not toast. Up side: some nice small plates on the dinner menu, including creole shrimp dip and an all-Texas cheese plate.

Food was good but the service wasn't. Neglected to fill drinks. Wasn't that busy either, Prices were midrange.
You show up for breakfast, but where is the hostess???
If you are dining here for breakfast before attending a meeting, it can be maddening. This is a common problem with many hotel breakfast rooms: they have no conception that not all guests are leisurely diners. This one has no newspapers nearby; you have to go down a floor to street level to find one, yet there is not even the consideration of notifying you of this, either at the restaurant or at the front desk or in your room. Breakfasts were good, once you managed to secure them (after the hostess finally emerges from hiding somewhere in the back each and every morning.)
