Do you like Robots? Do you like awesome burgers? Do you like old school retro Sci fi? Do you like great fries? Do you like awesome chipotle ranch? Do you like great shakes? Then this is your kind a of place.

Great place for a casual lunch at a specialty burger joint. Very popular spot from the crowd that was waiting to order when we left. Great selection of burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes and adult beverages including many micro brews. Expect to spend around $12-15 each. Nice bar and friendly, attentive staff. Adequate off street parking.

Grindhouse has some of the best burgers you can find in Atlanta!!! This location recently opened and it is pretty nice. There is a large indoor dining area, a nice covered patio with a bar, and plenty of parking unlike their other locations. They offer several different options for burgers including beef, turkey, and black bean. Of course they also have their speciality burgers. This time I tried the Dixie which had pickles, slaw, and pimiento cheese. My husband enjoyed the Hillbilly which had brisket and jalapenos on it. For the kiddos, Grindhouse has hotdogs, burgers, and chicken tenders. Their fries and onion rings are divine! They also have boozy shakes to top off your meal. Everything is delicious!

This is a fine burger in a fun place. It's not bad at all. However, I would not call it one the best in Atlanta, it is good. We also had the chili it was good - it was kind of like a Skyline Chili taste... I do think the line to order was way too long - they need to figure out how to better manage the staff. We love they show old Batman shows - but they had some other retro sci fi karate show from Japan with blood and gore - not really cool in a restaurant. The porch area looks nice. There is plenty of parking and it is free. We live in this area and yo must not leave any valuables in your car - at all - ever.

The burgers here are quite tasty. Lots of topping options, a choice of medium or well done, good bun (not overwhelming, lets the meat take top billing). Fries were satisfactory, not great. Onion rings ok too, not the best. Plenty of seating, both inside and outside. Overall a good experience as far as food. The line to order, as others have said, seems excessive. There’s only one order taker, she wasn’t in any hurry, and the line moved really slowly. Not clear why. Otherwise we had a great lunch.

I love the Dixie style Impossible Burger. If I were blind-folded, I would've assumed it was beef! Awesomeness!

Here tonight, there’s is literally NOWHERE to sit. As a result of following their ordering process, I was unaware until after I ordered. I requested to have my order changed to a To-Go order. The manager gives me a hard time about refunding my $8 alcoholic beverage.... He wanted me stand and drink. There’s no where to sit at the bar. I couldn’t sit there if I wanted because I came with my 16 year old daughter. Totally unbelievable!!! Never again! It’s very unfortunate because we come here frequently because she likes it....

First time here. I ordered the beef burger with BLT, my husband ordered the turkey burger & we split an order of the Dirty South fries. Everything was delicious. Now I’m full & ready for a nap.

Our family of five visited here after touring downtown - we were looking for a good burger. The burgers were yummy. Sweet potato fries and onion rings were average. Atmosphere - most TVs had college football on (it was a Saturday evening) but a couple TVs had a movie playing that was not appropriate for children. This was very disappointing, and we had to situate our 10 and 7 year olds where they could not see those TVs. If we ever go back, we will have to talk with the manager about movie choices. Maybe this is not meant to be a family friendly restaurant.

So you have to order and then be seated. The line to order had only one attendant and the line was out the door. We went with a group of 12 people and were told for those who don't like burgers they had salads. Well they offer 2 super limited salads but they want to throw a burger on top! NO ONE WANTS A BURGER SLAPPED ON TOP OF A SALAD! The fries were horrible. The teen boys wanted to play ping pong but were told that only 21 year olds were allowed to play. They entire experience sucked for everyone and we will never go back.

The day we were there there was one employee taking orders (like at a Burger King or McDonald's, you place and pay for your order upon entering the restaurant at a counter - then you find yourself a seat and they'll bring your food out to you) and she just couldn't keep up. We waited too long, and when we left there were still people waiting too long. Not sure if that's standard, but it will definitely keep us from coming back. Signage said that if you were at age you could go to the bar to order, but we didn't do that, so I can't say for sure that that would help, but it sure couldn't hurt! The juicy burgers and fries were good, but not worth the wait, and as I wasn't familiar with the movie it's associated with, the ambiance did nothing for me. Loud music, lots of TVs - it was all a little much for me.

I have been a vegetarian for 10+ years, and the impossible burger, grindhouse-style is the easily the best burger I have had in that time. They have a good rotating beer selection, and the movies are often hilarious. The fries/onion rings combo is nice as well.

Grindhouse has great, cheap, consistent burgers. It's one of my favorite places in ATL to grab a burger or hot dog because of the quality of the toppings and the consistently good food. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. The sides are excellent as well (and the $3 Irish whiskey shots don't hurt). This is one of the best places in Atlanta to grab a quick meal.

I love the movie grindhouse and when my friends invited me for a dinner at this restaurant, I was very excited to see the place. I like the hilarious posters around. The menu has some interesting burgers, 2 different salads and the drinking menu is not bad for a burger restaurant. The service is quick and the patio outside is the best place where to eat. The queue was longer than I expected, but I was satisfied by the food

Just arrived in town to visit good friends and suggested we go here for lunch. Awesome place.. ate at the bar and had great beers, fantastic burgers and onion rings. Great portions.. super staff working... totally friendly. Will definitely be going back..

Hamburger patty was moist and well seasoned. Lots of choices for add ons - pick their suggestions or make up your own. Onion rings were well prepared but desperately needed more seasoning.

While shopping in Little Five Points we had a craving for a good burger. The associate said we had to try this place. And we were not disappointed. The fries are great and i probably could have managed a double but the single was very filling. Can’t wait to go back to Atlanta and visit this place again. I had the yankee style it was amazing!

The restaurant was affordable and packed with a diverse population enjoying food/trivia games/drinks and more!

Delicious burgers with various original variations. However, you’re better off building your own burger...lots of great ingredients to choose from. The crinkly fries are a nice touch and the onion rings are fantastic. They boast hand spun shakes, but I was totally disappointed with the shakes. They didn’t taste any different than a McDonald’s or Burger King shake. Very disappointing. I’ll return for the burgers, but I’ll never have another shake. Recommend restaurant to change to actual ice cream base shakes.

Really really good burgers! Two 1/4 patties but unusually they are quite small in circumference and so thicker than normal 1/4 patties which makes them able to be cooked medium. Very tasty, juicy and soft with a great flavour. Got the sweet potato fries as the side which were also very good. For the quality, taste and price this was one of the best burger places we visited on our trip in Atlanta. Highly recommend.

Went on a Saturday evening before a concert. Line took about 10-15 minutes but worth the wait. Good burgers and fast service and reasonably priced. Can't ask more from a quick meal!

Great burgers. Great drinks. Once I ordered, the food came out quick. But the line to order was soooooo slow!!!! Only one cash register, and the dude behind it was not quick. Plenty of open seats - the choke point at the cash register is costing you $$$$.
A chain--sort of--but still awesome!
If you are in the mood for a really good burger, in a no nonsense place, where you can step up to the counter, order exactly what you want, and sit down to relax, this is the place to go. Grindhouse has the benefits of a chain (consistent, solid menu items, a bit of variety, but also some cool standouts); with the small shop feel of a mom and pop restaurant (they only have 6 locations in Atlanta). The Memorial Drive location is the perfect place if you are in town for business or you are hitting the tourist sights...central and just a stone's throw from the Downtown Connector. Just choose your "meat" (Step 1), which includes good old fashioned beef, and also turkey, veggie, and a plant-based meat substitute; then select your size (Step 2); and then your style (Step 3). If you are overwhelmed by choosing a style, they help you by offering 8 different styles, like Dixie Style and Yankee Style (both perfect for a city of transplants!) You can get a nice local craft beer, and then catch a patio game outside. This location has a great, free parking lot, and is right on Memorial Drive, near Oakland Cemetery (a definite Atlanta must see).
