Ariana was amazing. She was quick to serve us and was so sweet and filled up our water so many times :) would recommend going here. Especially if she is serving.

Demetrius was the light of my life!! Sat at the bar with him and he had the most fabulous recommendations, highly suggest him if you come in!!

The atmosphere and food were both spectacular. All of the staff were friendly and at ease- we highly recommend. Made a great trip even better.

We came up to Group Therapy for a friends’ birthday and Dakota and Julian took incredible care of us. We had such a good time and will absolutely come back. Thank you so much for the attentive service and attention to detail, we’ll be back soon!

We had a wonderful at the pool it was such a wonderful sunny day the pool staff was absolutely wonderful I recommend checking it out and our pool server Vincent has the sweetest personality ever and he’s the host inside for the Group Therapy restaurant he is amazing thank you for showing us an outstanding experience

Live Music Great Location, Menu and Atmosphere....really a great option in Austin...inside the boutique hotel ZaZa which itself is a great location. Indoor and outdoor seating....truly great experiende..varied menu for everyone

Had an absolutely amazing time at Group Therapy. this hotel located on 4th and Lavaca is an absolute must. Went straight to the bar where Demetrius and Adrian took care of my friends and I. This place is crazy cool and needs to be experienced by everyone in Austin!

After seeing only a 9:30 reservation available, I knew I had to book it. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were promptly seated. Our server, Benjamin, was very attentive and accommodating. He made our Valentine’s Day celebration so special & we will absolutely be back. 111% recommend.

My boyfriend and I went to group therapy and we couldn’t have asked for a better time! Ari’s service was amazing and she gave us great suggestions for our food and drinks! 10/10!!

Let me start off by saying that the outdoor seating is gorgeous and a great place to relax while doing work, early in the day anyway when they aren’t too busy. Ana was my server and she was awesome! Very attentive and nice. She recommended the Chilaquiles and they were delicious!!!! 10/10 would come here again.

Madi was a fantastic waitress. The atmosphere of this bar was fantastic. Had an amazing time here. I highly recommend the spicy margarita.

Group Therapy is by far one of my favorite spots to visit in Austin. The food was great, location was even better, and the service was best. Erin made sure we had our expectations met with kindness and patience. We felt welcomed and will be coming back again.

Terrible accommodations for dinner. Waiter was slow and food was cold and not worth the price tag. Reservations for five for dinner and we were seated at a coffee table and a sofa. Drinks were not good and wine was warm

Dinner at Group Therapy was fantastic. Ask for Carl as your waiter. He was delightful. The Banh mi was so good as well as the lamb and everyone loved their entrees. The short rib looked fantastic and I had the tuna poke which was delicious. The view is nice and the restaurant has a cool vibe. Got my 200 character minimum… yay!!

Today was my first time visiting Group Therapy and they did not disappoint. Chef Lana made sure everything was so delicious. The southern livin opened my eyes to just how good goat cheese can be. The bartender Demiteius made some of the best drinks I have ever had. The dark chocolate espresso martini was so good I had two and I don’t even like coffee or espresso. My server Julian was the best made sure I was good the entire night and was on his job. Overall 10/10

Came here for dinner and absolutely enjoyed it! Everything our server Jocelyn suggested was delicious! The old fashion was on point and the lamb lollipops and volcano salt French fries were addicting! I was craving them the next day. 😅 Over the restaurant was really beautiful and unique. Look forward to going back in the near future!

My friends and I had a great time at this bar. They had live music that was good and the appetizers were amazing. Our server, Tatum and Karl were both great and very attentive and the manager, Dakota checked on us multiple times throughout the evening. Highly recommend this place while you’re in Austin!!

Staff was Awesome. Very noisy, but another birthday party was underway! Cocktails interesting! Appetizers could have substituted for my meal! Very good! Lamb Pops, “Southern Living”…a trio of dips with pita chips…yum! & crab fried green tomatoes! There were a couple more, I would have ordered! Unfortunately, the fish entrees were extremely fishy! I live in Louisiana. Houston is coastal, how hard is it to get good seafood in Austin! I couldn’t finish my meal. Stick with the appetizers! Supposed to have a great view, but a very cold & rainy weekend, unfortunately.

I absolutely love it here! My boyfriend and I went for his birthday and had a great experience! The bartender, Ben, was phenomenal! We weren't sure what kind of drink we were feeling so Ben asked what we typically like and mixed up the most on point drink! Ben was also so great to chat with! Went to the bar for the view and vibe, stayed and will DEFINITELY be coming back because of the bartender!

I met my mom here for a night on the town. We sat at the bar and Demetrius and Adrian had us wanting to stay at this bar all night. The music was nice and the place was bumping! We had some great snacks too! Best part is that it’s not only hotel guest. It’s open to the public!

Group Therapy is the perfect date spot. The ambience is romantic but casual also so it’s not too fancy. The drinks by damitrus were very delicious and looked exquisite.

The Burger and fries were good while watching the NBA game in the booths at the bar. Awesome customer service from Robyn. I have never seen a waitress run around so busy and at the same time stay so attentive to my table. Well done Robyn!! Maybe adding a couple simple every day dishes to the menu would help attract more guests. Great atmosphere with the musician playing in the background as well.

Had an amazing brunch, great atmosphere, good drinks, good food. Tatum was so attentive. She made our experience exceptional and she even laughed at our dad jokes.

The restaurant located in Hotel Zaza is amazing! It’s a great menu, fantastic cocktails- but most importantly the service was impeccable! Ariana was an incredible server and we’ll be back to see her again.

We arrived at the restaurant today Friday evening when we came to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary with the children, after half an hour a waitress approached us, after half an hour from ordering we only received the soup and salad, an hour and a half!! from the moment we arrived and the main courses still hadn't arrived. We asked several times to speed up the arrival of the food. In the end we gave up and left. Shamelessly they even charged us for the appetizers and drinks

We live right next door to this place and we come often for their food and drinks, but tonight was extra special since Tatum was our server- so sweet, attentive and knows the menu well! She recommended the Bread Pudding for dessert and her reco was spot on! Thanks Tatum for your amazing service! Will be back soon!

We’ve been trying various locations in Austin and stumbled upon Hotel Zaza. Couldn’t find at first but when we did it had great seating. Jocelyn was our server and suggested a few items for us to try. I’m a weenie but even the pizza was great. Overall would go again.

I took my family here for my mom’s 50th, and it was everything she wanted and more! The food was great, there was something for everyone and the atmosphere was perfect for my mom. Our server Ari was attentive to our party the entire time. Will be returning for future family events!

I came here with some of my friends and had Demetrius as our server and Ben also help us out and they were phenomenal. All around just very knowledgeable of the restaurant and all the options and recommended the Brussel sprouts which were the best I’ve ever had. If you ever come to austin to visit, coming here is a must.

Ben at the bar was amazing! Even with just one hand, he was able to shake the hell out of my drink - and it tasted delicious!!! Go see Ben!!!! You won’t regret it

The restaurant is beautiful. It is full of really nice art and furniture. the appetizers are delicious, especially the lamb chops. Our waitress Jocelyn gave us excellent service. She made sure that we always had everything we needed. I’d recommend!

We came here on Sunday night after our wedding and really enjoyed the intimate environment. Kayla took great care of us and really made the night enjoyable.

Our waitress was awesome but the hostess was SOOO RUDE! It was my daughter birthday and she would not allow us to take pictures unless we are staying at the hotel

The food was okay - good ingredients but not seasoned and not cooked properly. The restaurant was very loud and it is a small space crammed with too many tables.

Went here recently with my wife and friends to check out the Wednesday drink specials and was blown away by the long list of bourbon and scotch selections they had to offer. Our server Jocelyn was very helpful in assisting us with choosing drinks from the wide variety of options they had and even treated my friend to a free dessert for her birthday! The view of the city out by the rooftop pool was beautiful. Overall it was a great experience, will certainly come back.

Absolutely love this rooftop bar as part of Hotel ZaZa. Sunsets are great to watch from here- the whole place has a very chic feel to it. we had few sundowners here and felt a nice tropical ambience especially with the decor.

This was all our first time trying this restaurant out and it was delightful. Our server Jocelyn became our friend that night haha. Very sweet and patient with us.

Yummy food & really fun atmosphere. We adjusted our Thursday date night reservation to a day earlier due to the impending inclement weather & were very happy with that decision. Lovely elevated library room for larger parties w/live music for all to hear. Restaurant overlooks the pool & patio and a great view west of the city. If you are a photography fan, they have multiple gorgeous collections by very accomplished photographers. That alone made the trip from the burbs worthwhile!!! Our server, Tatum, was really great & very attentive. Good service, great portion sizes and tasty food. Roasted Brussels, lamb lollipops, Caesar salad and crispy chicken sandwich were all excellent. We will be back with friends, especially on a Wednesday night for their drink & appetizer specials. Great place!!!

We had the most wonderful New Year’s night birthday celebration for our daughter at Group Therapy. Remy accurately arranged every detail we requested and was very kind and friendly. Paola was a very attentive and responsive server. The separate dinning room we were in was comfortable and nice. Of course the food was delicious. Thank you to the restaurant for an amazing evening.

What if I told you the best experience in Group Therapy I’ve ever had was with Maddie and the rest of the staff at group therapy. I would recommend pork chop lollipops and the chicken but more importantly, I would request Maddie as your waitress!!!! As an Austinite$$$, I can say this restaurant at the Zaza hotel is hands-down, one of the five star places to go to! What

Great and easy time showing my family member the "new" austin as the last they were here is 1981. Easy to feature all aspects of Austin's current culture with Hotel Zaza from beginning to end with posh decor, indie live music, and great drinks. Between Dakota and Ana we were warmly seated and greeted and given exemplary service. Easily now on the list for after dinner drinks and beyond when it comes to showing new folks around the city.

We had a great time and the bartender Demetrius made an excellent drink that I hadn’t had before. He was very personable and we had some good conversation as well. It’s a fun environment for some drinks and I recommend it!

Everything about this restaurant was awesome. From the book cases surrounding the dining room to the walls full of beautiful art, nothing disappointed. Jocelyn was our wonderful server who went above and beyond to make sure that we had a good experience. I have dietary issues and she made it top priority to make sure that I was able to have the best meal possible. Speaking of meal, oh my god the food. The lamb lollipops were to die for and the soup was delicious! The house drinks were wonderful, fun, and strong 😁 10/10 would recommend, definitely will be going back

Stopped in for apps and drinks before a concert. Jocelyn was so friendly and perfectly attentive. The food and cocktails were delicious. Plus the view from the patio is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Had a fabulous Thanksgiving Day dinner here. We had turkey for a few days before the holiday so opted to split the pork chop with sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts - all divine! Couldn't have enjoyed a meal more. Especially a holiday meal. Service was excellent, the dining room was lovely and I can't recommend this restaurant more. The hotel itself was charming and I'd love re to stay there on a future trip to Austin.

The vibe of Hotel Zaza carries through to Group Therapy. The space itself is large, which a big nook in the back of the restaurant where one could host 10-15 folks somewhat intimately, but still part of the scene. In fact, there was a bachelorette party on one of the evenings we frequented the bar. The bar is modern in style, with some quirky, retro, cool and unique features throughout. A long marble top bar, with room for 15 or so patrons to belly up to. There are some sofa two tops and booths inside, as well as some seating outside by the pool. On our stop, after checking in, we were hankering some lunch. The menu was simple enough, with several different selections to fill your belly with. Suzie opted for the Green Goddess Bowl and added chicken to the mix. I choose the Spicy Chicken Sammie. We also added a side for fries, which was an awesome decision. Thin, garlicky and salty potato strips. You know, kind of like I'm just going to have a couple and as long as they are in front of you, you continue to stuff your pie hole with them good. My sammie was moist, very crispy hand battered it seemed, chicken breast with a spicy chipotle mayo. Certainly could of been more spicy for me, but an excellent bite none the less. Suzie's salad had a huge hammered thin breast of chicken grilled on top of a large salad with Summer Greens, Crisp Cucumber, Shaved Fennel, Edamame, Avocado, Toasted Seeds, Pickled Red Onions, Crumbled Feta and Green Goddess dressing. Very Mediterranean and rather healthy, delicious to boot. We popped in again for drinks in the evening and the mood was festive and busy. Lots of folks having fun, drinking and carrying on. A couple of lads at the bar were well into their evening and choose to come over to where we were sitting on the couch at a two top, taking in the scene and people watching. They kind of inserted themselves into our evening, but not for to long. One of them wandered off, while his friend remained a little longer until he made his way back up to the bar. Juan the host, came over and asked if we were doing okay and made apologies for the boys, we were fine. He also let us know they weren't guests, one of the lads was a regular and management had an eye on them. Management did indeed have and eye on them, since a little while later, they were asked to leave. This is not the experience they wanted for folks frequenting the bar. I think that Juan and the management really speaks to the level of service at Group Therapy. On the occasions we were there, the bartenders and servers were all personable, helpful and efficient in their jobs. Pleasant to interact with but not a distraction to our experience. This is also the vibe that everyone we interacted with at Hotel Zaza carried during our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to drop in again when downtown.

My wife and I long ago came to the conclusion that a hearty breakfast was the best way to start a full day of traveling or shopping or sight-seeing. This coming from two 82-year-old retirees who grew up on a glass of orange juice before going to school. Now I'm a devoted advocate of oatmeal and Eggs Benedict or scrambled eggs and corned beef hash in the morning. Our early morning stop at the Group Therapy restaurant in the Hotel ZaZa Austin filled the bill. Open at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday for breakfast, we got off to a good start with a bowl of steel cut oatmeal with toasted almonds, dried blueberries, brown sugar and cream and a bowl of fresh fruit with honey and vanilla yogurt. For the main event, we both chose the house's All-America breakfast, two scrambled eggs with pork sausage, toast and jam. The view from Level 7 makes for a stirring wakeup call.

Absolute blast in one of the best hotel bars I've seen. Fun anniversary night with my bride and the staff staying attentive to our needs. Warm and unique with an exceptional staff. Try to sit at the bar with Jacob! He won't disappoint. Kept our cup full throughout the night with many unique libations. Excellent selection of fine bourbon and scotch as well some tasty craft cocktails. Ended up eating dinner and breakfast in Group Therapy on Jacob's recommendation. Fired green tomatoes with crab was delightful! Can't wait to return and spend some more time with Jacob!

Get the brisket burger! Delicious. And it's a very charming space up on the 7th floor- by the pool. Warm and friendly and pretty and related. Great for a late night sanck for hotel guests coming back hungry- esp on a weekend night.

I could not recommend this place enough! The Brussel sprouts were so delicious, especially the sauce that came with. Demetrius recommended the crispy buttermilk dipped chicken and it was perfect! I will definitely be coming back to this hotel just for the food every night! Demetrius and Ben at the bar were amazing!!

Our waiter Carl was super friendly! He was to the point on which cocktail we should drink or which main meal we should order. Homemade pasta was delicious plus the burrata toast. Definitely recommend that place. The view is spectacular and one of a kind!

Me and my boyfriend frequent Group Therapy and have had Margaux as our server on several occasions. Margaux always takes great care of us and gives us a great experience. The food and drinks are amazing and the atmosphere is top notch. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Austin.

I had two of my closes friends come in from out of town this past Sunday, so we decided to hit up the upstairs pool bar. To our surprise we were greeted with the best service by Ari. She was very attentive and made great recommendations on food and drinks! Will be coming back!

Group Therapy is located in the ZaZa Hotel. It offers an exceptional choice of beer, wine and especially liquor, a nice setting, and very good food. Service was quite good too.

The lamb lollipops were my favorite and I loved the skinny fries. Jocelyn helped us and was the best!!

I ordered a steak well done, when I got it I cut it and it bled. It made me a little sick to see that. I sent it back and sat while everyone else finished their meal. When it came the steak was fine but the hash potatoes were so salty I wasn’t able to eat them and the sauce on the steak wasn’t good either. It was a green aioli sauce that had an odd taste to it. Eating a steak by myself that had horrible potatoes was not a fun experience. The steak was very expensive and definitely not worth it. When we paid the check it came back with a credit card charge that they didn’t tell us would be on the bill. We paid over $220 for 4 people and not worth it.

Madi is an amazing waitress who made our night incredible with a smile on her face the whole time! we’ll definitely be back and hope to have her as our server again

Great place for a drink. We went twice and loved it both times. Bartenders know how to make drinks. Very cool vibe. Funny but not too loud. Had the strawberry basil margarita it was felt. Views are fantastic!

Beautiful restaurant in Hotel ZaZa…. Loved all the eclectic, decorations and art! Cozy and warm on a cold, rainy December night… and hope to come back on a spring day and enjoying a cocktail from the beautiful pool terrace. Hibiscus cocktails, calamari and filet mignon were perfect! Others had the birria and a few other sandwiches and they were enormous… everyone took home half. Can’t wait to return!
