A 45-minute wait time on a reservation is inexcusable and offers to "sit at the bar instead" for dinner was a joke. It ruined our experience before it even started. Food was good, although the "signature entree " was sold out after the first 3 tables all ordered it, according to the server. How do you run out of Lobster in Las Vegas? The service was mediocre, not even close to a 1 star Michelin. But, the poor management by the front of the house is the real problem here.

My wife and I highly anticipated going to Gymkhana Las Vegas (inside Aria) after booking a table many weeks in advance. It's just as well we reserved early as it's fully booked for the foreseeable future (we even saw people come in looking for a table, who were turned away and told it was reservation only). Our table was booked for 9:15pm but we didn't get seated until about 9:45pm. It didn't bother us too much as we appreciate they just opened and will likely have some teething issues the first few weeks. However, the manager came over immediately and apologised and offered us two free starters (Poppadums and Gol Guppas - both really nice). That was a very kind gesture and greatly appreciated. They also accommodated the type of table we asked for as a special request, so again it was nice to see that they noticed that. The food overall we thought was to a very high standard. The Lasooni Wild Tiger Prawns were delightful (although quite overpriced at $42!). The Butter Chicken Masala was spicier than expected, but very nice! When it was served we thought the portion looked tiny but it was much more than it looked. It was easily enough for us to share. The Aloo Jeera (stir-fried potatoes) was ok, nothing special. The bread basket was very nice, I'd say it was the nicest naan bread I've ever had! For dessert we had the rice pudding and the Gold Leaf Gulab Jamun (fried dumplings) and they were both enjoyable. The service was impeccable, very friendly and attentive and really made everything feel like a fine dining experience. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I expected to be totally wowed by the food (given their reputation and the cost) but I would say there are plenty of Indian restaurants in my local area in Scotland which are just as good, if not better. While I appreciate this might be harsh (as the food was excellent), I just wasn’t quite blown away. Our bill was $222 (no alcohol) and not including tip. So on the costly side. But given the dining experience, location and atmosphere, I would say this was worth it. I also feel like we would happily go back in the future (if we are able to get a table!). Would definitely recommend giving Gymkhana a visit if you can.

Date night with the wife. The food was absolutely amazing however a bit on the spicier side. If you can take spice, go for it. If not, maybe ask the server for spice ratings before ordering. Service not as good.

**Gymkhana Las Vegas: World-Class Food, Disastrous Service** **Rating: 2/5** **The Good:** The food is undeniably stellar. It is easily the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in the United States and successfully lives up to the culinary memory of the original Gymkhana in London. The kitchen is delivering at a high level. **The Bad:** Unfortunately, the service tarnishes the Gymkhana name. Despite securing a confirmed 7:00 PM reservation with a credit card, my party was not seated until 8:21 PM—nearly 1.5 hours late. Throughout the wait, estimates were consistently inaccurate, and management offered zero proactive communication. There was no attempt at service recovery; no comped round of drinks, no dessert, and no apology until I explicitly complained. Additionally, the beverage program feels lazy for the price point. Many of the ~$30 cocktails are batch-made and simply poured, which is disappointing for a fine dining establishment. **The Verdict:** While the food is exceptional, the "Vegas mentality" of prioritizing volume over hospitality ruins the experience. Expect amazing flavors, but be prepared for the worst service you’ve likely ever received at this price point.

Really good! Recommend if you’re in the area. Really enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. Best Indian food to date in my opinion.

My husband and I had an excellent meal and experience here. Service was attentive. The meal was amazing. We started with the shrimp and scallops and the lamb chops. These were the best lamb chops I’ve ever had. Succulent and so flavorful. We then had naan, butter chicken and basmati rice. All were so good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

we were lucky to get TWO reservations during the opening week through our casino host. The first was with some non Indians (I am Indian) and the second for ourselves who are most familiar with Indian cuisine and also cook lots of North Indian dishes. The first reservation was for 8:15 P.M. on a Sunday and when we arrived were advised that they are running behind so come back in 20 minutes. Went back in 20 minutes and were told that the tale is being cleaned. Another couple visits and the table was STILL being cleaned. Finally when I asked to speak to the manager at almost 9:00, he sat us at a nice looking table. We were starving so asked the manager to send a couple appetizers asap while we look through the rest of the menu. All we received was a plate of Pani Puri between the four of us. The service was great from there onwards. The food however get a mixed review. The chicken Tikkas were overcooked and dry, the bread basket was tough by the time it got to our table after asking for it a couple times. The lamb chops, Biriyani and the keema pao were all excellent. Our second reservation was for two days later on a Tuesday at 6:30. On Monday, we received an email saying that "we are sorry but we had to cancel your reservation because someone has bought out the entire restaurant for the evening". The restaurant was ALREADY sold out because one could not get a reservation for the entire week but I guess some one made an offer that they could not refuse. NO offer for an alternate date and time NOR an offer for a gift card for a future use for the inconvenience !! We will be back in Vegas in March but will not be going to Gymkhana.

Let’s start with the good. Truthfully, I am starting with the exceptional. The decor is a wonderful blend of a clubby feel with some unusual portraiture, stunning wall coverings that might be textiles (I wasn’t quite close enough to tell), and intimate lighting. I loved the coffered ceiling. The attention to detail as exemplified in the dinnerware design, the beautiful and ice cold beer mugs, the lovely water pitcher, and the wait staff attire set a wonderful stage to whet one’s appetite for an Indian meal. So, why the three stars? We found the food to be a disappointment. I won’t pretend to be a restaurant critic but I do know what I like. The chicken tikka was overly spiced and had a little too much heat (chili). The yogurt marinade was discernible and had tenderized the meat but any delicacy of the dish was overpowered by heavy handed masala usage. We had asked the server to recommend milder dishes as one of our party is sensitive and this dish really missed the mark. The paneer tikka was quite salty, though otherwise nice. For our main dishes, the bread basket was generally enjoyable. The roti was dry and became hard quickly. The naan was very good. The chicken makhani was good. Not the best I’ve had, but quite good. The dal was okay. My bar was high for that because I was hoping for something much closer to Bukhara’s version. The biggest disappointment was the jeera aloo. The potatoes were shriveled and so heavily coated in masala that the dish was nearly black. It was hard to tell which dish was the aloo and which was the beef fry. The beef fry was quite peppery, which is accurate to its description. I didn’t detect much coconut. The meat was dry. I know it is a dry dish, but the unctuous quality of the meat wasn’t there. Back to the good news. The staff is exceptional. We were so pleased with our service and the attention to our needs without being obtrusive. It all flowed seamlessly between team members. They deserve a pat on the back because it was a busy night and the restaurant is new. I hope the kitchen improves because it is a beautiful setting and the staff on the floor are working really hard to make it a success.

Dining in Las Vegas doesn’t get better than this. First, this is not a typical Indian menu. These are creative dishes, executed to perfection. The service is impeccable. We’ve dined often at top tier restaurants— often they’re good, sometimes great, occasionally they disappoint. Gymkhana ranks as one of the best. We’ll definitely be back.
Amazing next level Indian food & experience
Gymkhana is a destination! The decor is eclectic and fanciful; each room has a definitive look to explore. The staff excellent! The food is next level, high-end, high-quality from the Waygu Keema Naan to the Kebabs & Tikkas. The Goan Lobster Curry was out of this world coupled with the Biryani served table side. Fanciful and delicious desserts and specialty cocktails too! The flavors touched all senses. I feel like we ate everything on the menu! Happy to bring home leftovers. They're not shy on spice.
