Honestly this restaurant has fabulous food, a great atmosphere and reasonable service. However the music at night is intolerable. We asked several times for it to be reduced and were told “no”. If you actually want to talk with people you’re having dinner with maybe pick another location.

I along with my cousin were here on Friday, October 25th for dinner and it was an absolute pleasure. Apparently it is hard to get reservations on a weekend but we did get lucky. We called on Thursday for Primetime on Friday. I am used to "Hole in the wall" Chinese and this place was mind-blowing. It started at the reception and lasted the entire duration of the meal. The taste, presentation, and texture of the meal were outstanding. I am a blue-moon guy but really enjoyed my Hakkatani and the Hakka steamed dim sum platter was amazing. One bite and my mouth was bursting with flavors. The shrimp fried rice is a disappointment. The rice was crispy and is devoid of any flavor. Will definitely go back next time.

Family style business dinner, everything was wonderful....we tried several recommendations at the suggestion of our waiter ( who was awesome)...always back to bring another drink etc...I felt like we were his only table and I assume we were not. Very enjoyable experience!

Worst Hakkasan I have ever been to, usually great service and amazing food. This was poor served on cold plates sat in a dismal corner of the building served like they wanted us out, this was on a Sunday so the area was buzzing. The duty manager although pleasant did little to appease the mood of the table, the GM comped most of the food and brought a selection of puddings - but overall the whole experience was supper poor.

I stay at MGM for work conferences and this is definitely one of the better restaurants/clubs to go to! Great lighting/theme, food, and service is always quick and good!

My husband and I visited Hakkasan for the second time and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing with different, delicious flavors bursting from each bite. It would be difficult for me to pick my favorite menu items because everything we had was delectable. The service was a little slow but perhaps they wanted to leave us alone to enjoy our tasty dishes. I did feel bad for my husband who ordered a side of rice 3 times and it never came which took away from his experience as he waited for the rice so he could eat it with one of his dishes which he ended up not eating for this reason. Will that stop us back from returning? NO WAY - the food was much too enjoyable for that to prevent us from coming back during our next stay in Vegas.

Hakkasan offers a modern and trendy atmosphere where they accomplish to take you through a dining voyage through Asia. Must start by calling out that everyone in our party enjoyed the background music that was being played by the DJ. It perfectly meshed with the experience we were going through, which we kicked off with some of their signature cocktails. The one that was particularly different in taste and feel was the Turkish Rose Tea, which they only serve in Vegas. It is a Gin mixed with jasmine tea honey syrup, matcha, lemon and egg white. It was refreshing and you could taste the matcha kick in a balance not surpassing way. To be shared we ordered their Hakka steamed dim sum platter, which contained a variety of dumplings filled up with prawns, chicken, scallops and pork. They were good, but not impressive. We’ve had better dumplings at less fancy places. Places where you get the best bang for your buck. We also decided to get their crab meat/sweet corn soup and steamed lobster soup with fresh coconut. This were both quite unique and tasty. Have to call out that the lobster soup came in a small fresh coconut, which enhanced the taste with the coconut skin that you could scrape off from it. For our main entrée we order their Peking duck with Tsar Nicoulai Reserve caviar. It outshined everything and did catch our taste buds’ attention. Served on top of pancakes and topped up with the caviar, the duck was visually astounding. They first bring the whole duck out for you to see before it gets sliced. This Peking duck was delicious and quite unique. Would pay Hakkasan a visit again just to go out of the usual dining and getting their duck. It is quite a decision breaker. Their desserts were well crafted. Their Purple bombe is quite a spectacle for sight and taste. An Okinawa sweet potato cheesecake with blueberry and coconut paired up with a blackberry sorbet. It was delightful. Their selection of house made macarons was quite unique too, but this a dessert that you can get in many places. I would rather go with one of their signature characteristic desserts and leave the macaron craving for later.

Very interesting menu and beautifully decorated space. Food is creatively prepared and delicious. Very expensive but worth it to splurge on a special occasion.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was delicious. The fried rice, the crispy walnut chicken and mushroom noodles were my favorite. The service was attentive and friendly. The elegant ambiance is welcoming and it has a nice decor, the entrance decorated with flowers was very nice.

A group of seven of us had a business dinner here and wow. The restaurant has excellent service and even better food. We tried crispy duck salad as one of the appetizers and it was delicious. Also we had orders potstickers as appetizers. One on our group is vegetarian and we were able to include vegetarian potstickers. The sea bass was excellent too.

Enjoyed the food here, maybe due to the time we ate (early as we had a show to see) it had very little atmosphere! Actually restaurant looks very similar to the Hanway place on in London, food was excellent and presented well!!! Cost was reasonable too.... good meal

I Took a group of 15 people to Hakkan, couldn't be any better, attention were excellent and the guest DJ was amazing

We had high hopes, fine dining in Las Vegas can be a real culinary treat. But not at Hakkasan. The food is decent, but certainly not exquisite. You can easily find better, excellent Chinese for $20 per person or less, rather the several hundred per person here. The staff seem so jaded by high rollers you won't matter. And the drinks... whatever you do don't order the Bellini, worst one I've ever tried, had to send it back. We all left disappointed. It was fine, but literally 10x too expensive for worse food and experience than almost any other decent place on the strip.

Having been to many of the Hakkasan Group restaurants over the world, I was disappointed with the Vegas Hakkasan. This was my second time here and it didn’t live up to the first visit. The MGM is incredibly dated and there was absolutely no atmosphere in the hotel. This obviously translated to a flat atmosphere in Hakkasan. The cocktails were ok and the food was so so. With all the choice in Vegas, I probably wouldn’t dine here again.

This is a very sleek Chinese restaurant. Most people are young and music is loud. The food is exceptional and the ambience is very pleasant. We enjoy coming to Hakkasan restaurant every time we are here, we highly recommend it. You should visit when you are here.

This place was honestly so lovely great staff great food and fabulous atmosphere. Definitely expensive but worth the price!

Hakkasan surpassed our expectations with amazing atmosphere and staff. We spent 20 minutes at the bar and our bartender went over each drink in detail with suggestions. Once we sat in the elegant modern dining room we were treated to an array of food including dimsum and excellent Asian cuisine. Highly recommended when in Vegas.

Beautiful venue. Good food, top bar counter and bartenders. I encountered a waiter who was a bit "lazy" but I don't care because overall the place is perfect. Only complaint: the excessive scent of flowers at the entrance

Have visited other Hakkasan restaurants elsewhere so had high expectations, and this one didn’t disappoint either. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. Would recommend and return for sure. It is based at the MGM Grand at the one end of the Las Vegas Strip, however worth the trip

The original Hakkasan in London is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere in the world. We try to always go there, whenever we are in London. I was not expecting to find back the same high standards at this Las Vegas version. It is Vegas after all, right? But I must say I was pleasantly surprised... Food was as good, if not better, than in London. I regret we went there on our last night, as we didn't have the opportunity to go back once more.

I can't say enough good things about our experience at Hakkasan. The service was top notch and the food magnificent. I've never had fusion hakka served this hot, this flavourful, this quickly. Each of the tasting menu courses were delivered in less than 10 minutes and became tastier with each course. The service was prompt and within the timeframe we needed to make our show. I highly recommend the tasting menu - whilst not inexpensive, the selection and variety is amazing. You should definitely visit here if you want a geat dining and flavourful experience!

Booked table 2 weeks in advance for My self and partner Went here for a relaxing meal following a birthday.. we both dressed up for the occasion and turned up on time. We were asked to wait (along we 2 other couples) because of a “load” table that were just leaving” I have to say the food was really good which is why I have given a 3 star review but the ambience was just awful.. full of cackling hen do’s, security were all over the place, noisy, too dark and sadly just not a pleasant restaurant to eat in.. there was no dress code and you could get in with very casual attire - just not what we were expecting at all vs other Hakkasan restaurants that we have been too… for an experience 10 times better, get yourself to Tao in the Venetian!

Having visited Hakkasan in London, we thought it would be good to try vegas and were not disappointed. The dark interior is part of the signature ambience and whilst it does make it difficult to read the menu, it does not distract from the experience. Great service as you would expect from this level of restaurant and Alfred who was our server was very attentive and helpful. Not a cheap restaurant as you would expect but you certainly get what you pay for in terms of quality and taste. We opted for the phoenix menu which was excellent. Make sure you are hungry if you do the same! The dim sum were excellent and the sea bass and beef main dishes were amazing. The signature desserts reflected what we had experienced in London and this time I managed to get a photo before our server split the lemon centre piece. The wine pairing, whilst good is probably not necessary given this style of eating as your red and white both appear during the main courses rather than alongside specific dishes. That said the wine was good so we did enjoy it. Overall a fantastic experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will be looking to compare to New York during our next stateside vacation.

We love Hakkasan! If we are traveling in a city where there is a Hakkasan, we make it a point to dine there, even if only for their Vegan Dim Sum Basket! We were a part of four, and shared several dishes. Half of us are vegetarian; the Hakkasan menu accommodates to our diet. Vegan Dim Sum Basket: we love this dish so much, we make it a point to squeeze it in anytime we are in a city that has Hakkasan. There are 4 different vegan dim sums, 2 of each. Wild Mushroom Puff: this was presented very well, in a crispy butter pastry puff, stuffed with mushroom. Very tasty. King Crab Spring Roll: since we are vegetarian, we didn’t have this dish; but the couple we were with enjoyed the flavors in this dish. Vegetable Fried Rice: very flavorful fried rice, not overbearing with the egg flavor. Hakka Noodle: a classic noodle dish. The portions are perfect for sharing, especially if you want to try everything.

A truly luxurious restaurant tucked away within the MGM Grand Casino. Every bit of food we sampled was delicious, and the staff were very attentive and could not do enough to help.

Brilliant experience. the place is incredible and the food was extremely good. Especially the seafood platter! Oh nice cocktails too - the ones i can remember. Will be back :D

My wife and I went it Hakkasan before a concert. We were there on the early side so it wasn’t really busy yet but it was by the time we left. I really can’t understand how anyone would complain here (other than people like to complain). The ambiance was very warm and upscale, nice downtempo music at a good volume. Our waitress Madison was lovely, very friendly and informative. We ordered the Phoenix tasting menu and wow its way too much food for two people, more like 3-4 people but everything we got was excellent. Dim sum sampler, calamari, sea bass and noodles were particular standouts but everything was perfectly done. Cocktails were different and super good as well (I had the Hakka). We will definitely return on our next trip to Vegas.

We have eaten in Hakkasan LV before and in their other restaurants in London and Dubai, and unfortunately this time it was not a good experience. At the bar I ordered a Bloody Mary only to be told that I should order something different as they don’t make them..... when we ordered a few of the dishes were served barely warm and the taste not up to the usual high standards. After a 10 hour flight from the UK we were hungry and looking forward to this meal so we ate and left. In truth I will visit again as I hope this is a one off.

Hakkasan Vegas was a delightful letdown. We’ve been to Hakkasan in San Francisco and London. Las Vegas did not match up well to its London sibling. The room is gorgeous with a design similar to London. No expense was spared to create a cool and very comfortable Asian vibe. Lots of dark woods and quality fixture create an upscale feel. The service was impeccable. Our server was friendly and diligent and the surprisingly young sommelier clearly earned her title. We were well cared for. The fall down was the food. Our expectations were set sky high by the legendary London brunch and the standard was not met here. But don’t get me wrong, the food was all well prepared, interesting and flavorful. It just did not have any wow factor to bring us back to pay the very high premium Strip prices.

The restaurant has fantastic decor, our waiter Calvin couldn’t do enough for us and this would have to be the best Chinese meal we have had, presentation was great and the tastes incredible If you are ever in Las Vegas try.

I love to eat and drink wine, and man, did this place delivered and then some. The ambiance is beautiful. We made reservations well in advance for my mom's 67th birthday and we were brought right to our booth. Nina, our sommelier, I cannot even begin tell you how amazing she was. She was knowledgable, patient, kind... not snooty at all. We love good wines but are all novice. She did not recommend the most expensive but one she truly loved and it was the sweetest thing... she was literally holding her breath while we took our first sip until we told her we loved it. Best sommelier experience I've had. While the food was spot on, the service was even better. Krista was on it, making sure the timing of everything was perfect, and it was. Everyone was working as a team including the food runners and even the bartender was in and out helping with our table. We ordered literally everything.... you have to get the steamed dim sum, the ribeye, truffle duck and tofu claypot. Those were our absolute favorites. At the end of our meal, they delivered a special dessert with a cool sparkly candle to celebrate my mom. it was an amazing experience. I mostly talked about service, but literally everything was amazing. I'll be back on my next visit. Thank you guys!

This restaurant has AMAZING aesthetics, but the food is just average. It is actually pretty expensive; I had dim sum and a beef and veggie dish, no alcoholic drink, and with tip, my total was about $72. I recommend going here for drinks, as they have the most extensive bar menu I have ever seen. I think your money for food could be better spent, even if you want to stick to the same type of cuisine (unless you want dim sum, get it here). The staff was extremely friendly, especially since I arrived just 15 minutes before closing time.

The food served in this restaurant is out of this world!!! Was here on business and there were 16 of us, we decided to get one of the set menu’s. The service was great and the food even better... everything brought out was impeccable!! Couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing food and beautiful setting. However, I don't understand why I had to make a reservation when there were clearly a lot of empty tables... all evening. I recommend the chicken tsao and the scampi udon

Went there to celebrate my gf's birthday. All of the staff rembered the birthday wich I thought was great. So far so good. Staff was really friendly and helpfull with the ordering. Food came very fast, but all the starters came at once. Same happend with the mains, the came 2-3 minutes after eating the starters and the all got served together. The food was good, but we got the feeling of not beeing wanted and that they just wanted us out as fast as possible. The whole dinner was over in lilte over 1 hour. We hade ordered the chef's menu and I thought this would be more of an experience then it turned out to be. Still, good food and friendly staff, but they really shouldn't rush you for at dinner at the cost of around 500 USD.

First the positives The staff were quite friendly and attentive The atmosphere is nice The negatives It took almost 25 min to get our drinks And the food In my opinion it was just horrendous. I could not finish the dim sum it was just awful. All the dishes had a strange 'burnt' flavor that permeated them all. I could not eat any of it I paid for this $300 canadian for 2 ppl Thoroughly disappointed and do not recommend.

My wife and I have visited Las Vegas many times and finally got around to trying Hakkasan in MGM Grand. We opted for the Bottomless Brunch (starting at 11:30am on Saturdays and Sundays). We cannot speak highly enough of our experience. The food and experience was incredible. To name a few dishes that we tried, we went for some Sui Mai, Calamari, Ribs, Special Fried Noodles, Mushroom Noodles and Prawn Dumplings. A standout was the Wasabi Prawns, so good we had to order more! A personal favourite of mine were the Bao Buns, also ordered 2 portions of that! We also tried the Chocolate Pudding and the Sorbet. We would have loved to eat more but we were absolutely stuffed by the end! The food was simply amazing. The decor of the restaurant was very nice, and it was very busy which shows how popular the brunch is. The service was A+. Staff were friendly and attentive and always made sure that we had enough dishes. The cost is also very reasonable. The bottomless brunch is $58 per person (not including drinks). There is also a bottomless drink option for $35 pp but we didn't opt that this time. We will 100% return on our next visit to Vegas! We would like to go for dinner sometime in an evening as well.

We saw the taste of Hakksan menu advertised through out the MGM Grand so thought we would I’ve it a go (again). The website also listed that menu, but when we visited there was no mention of it anywhere. We asked if we could order from it and the waiter had to check and report back… thankfully we were able to. The portions were quite small for two people to share, but it was very tasty and we enjoyed it. The service was impeccable as always. We love this restaurant and will always return, but it did seem a bit sneaky that they didn’t seem to want those in the restaurant itself to know about the taste of hakksan menu… All in all, very good!

Good food, rich of tast and very nice displayed , and a nice selection of wine. We were a party of 12 and they handle it very well. A little slow to begin with, for ordering welcome cocktails, but after this was solved it was great.

We were a party of 8. We picked the 128.00 per person menu. The dishes kept showing up, no explanation as to what they were, just plopped on the table. They really need to do better training of there servers. The food was good, but didn’t feel we ate 128.00 worth of food each. experience?experience.

The service was excellent as was the meal,so I am going to rate that as exceptional. But there was an issue that both embarrassed and upset me. At the end of our meal I said I will charge this to our room and was told that we could not charge our meal to our room because the room charge system was down and had been for days.As I handed my credited card to our server I said that seemed odd and not the best way to service a guest. She said she would get a manager and within a short time he was standing beside our table. He repeat what our server had told us and then added “If you are worried about points” and that’s when I informed him I was not. By this time the people dining around us had taken notice, I was upset and my wife said to the manger “So we are here for 4 nights in a Skyloft and we can not charge to our room and you think we are looking for points. He put our credit card down and within a few minutes returned with a room charge receipt. “What the heck was the real problem”

We appreciate the excellent service at Hakkasan and attention to detail. We ordered the Peking Duck which two of our group of 3 had never tasted it before. It was delicious!

This place is amazing high end Asian flare with flavor and style. Went with a group of coworkers and had the dumpling platter, Hakka noodles, green onion and egg fried rice, tofu pit, Chilean sea bass and a chicken pot. All delicious!!

This is surely one of the better restaurants in Vegas. The decor is outstanding. The ambiance is wonderful. The service is attentive. The menu is wonderful and exciting and the presentation is excellent. I’m told these are in many cities and they are all the same and I will certainly be trying these again. There are set menus and also a la carte. I was very impressed and the set menu we tried was excellent. If you have a night in Vegas and you want something special, certainly try this.

We are fan of Hakkasan restaurants in London of course, Shanghai etc where we used to go many times a week. We are not convinved about this one as the food was very average, What saved our evening was the service which as excellent. Disappointing.

This was wonderful. Did the prefix at the bar. The food was incredible the bartender great company. I would love to do this again and again. The langostine dim sum was definitely my favorite!

For the price we paid it feels the overall ambience was lacking. Food was tasty but not as good as Hakkasan in London.

The ambience as you walk into the restaurant is amazing. The decor and layout is private and intimidate. The service and etiquette of the staff is second to none. Onto the food. The dish that blew me away was the Mongolian Beef. Very tender, full of amazing tantolising flavours. I have never tasted beef like it. Don’t get me wrong the other dishes were impressive and the presentation of the food was one that reflected the venue. Highly recommend.

A group of 6 of us enjoyed a wonderful evening at this beautiful establishment. The service is above standard. Everyone was happy and friendly. We ordered several appetizers to share and each of us ordered an entree. Everything we sampled and was amazing! The flavors complimented and satisfied our palettes. Our compliments to the staff and chefs.

Located within the MGM Grand next to the Hakkasan nightclub. Enjoyed the food here, very tasty and good size portions. Service was excellent with friendly staff. Just be aware that the restaurant is dimly lit and also plays loud music later on in the evening. Enjoyed the experience and would recommend.

We needed to eat dinner before our show on this end of the strip. We happened upon Hakkasan in the MGM and we’re glad we did! It was our favorite dinner on the trip. We shared the Hakka Basket, Crispy Spicy Prawns and Black Pepper Beef. Although all were tasty, my favorite were the prawns. Our dinner ended up being the highlight of the evening, as our show was a dud. It is hard to always pick winners! Thanks Hakkasan for making our night.

So many great dishes to choose from, great staff, convenient location. Would highly recommend the Dim Sum but all of the main courses were top class. Great atmosphere and vibe, out of place in the MGM

It is a very facy place and elegant place. The tables feels private since it is divided by the decorations. The service is good, what you would expect at a restaurant at this level. I've been to the Hakkasan at Shanghai and food and attention to detail is better in China. But it is still very good. Everything we had was delicious, and the cocktails are great. Some dishes are reasonably priced and some others very expensive, if you make wise choices you may have a reasonable check.

What a beautiful restaurant, especially with the stunning pink and white orchid entrance hallway! Our impression of Hakkasan was one of great pleasure to be there for dinner. It is upscale and very big on providing great service to its guests. Wear your favorite best outfit here and enjoy the vibe, the food, and the music. Dance to your heart's content next door at the Hakkasan Nightclub. Our server was Stephan G and he was attentive, friendly and made good suggestions about the menu. We shared the Hakka Dim Sum Basket, the Hong Kong rice, and the Sweet and Sour Pork besides our drinks, the smoky Old Fashioned (didn't taste very good) and the Don Julio reposado Margarita. We were happy with what we ordered. We plan to return here in a couple of months. We had a great evening, the food was delicious, and we plan to go back in a couple of months.

We arrived without a reservation. We ate at the bar but there were lots of empty tables and when we left there were still lots of empty tables. The bar tenders were nice and the service was good but the sweet and sour pork was tough and cost $47. The drinks were fine but at $23 and $24 a piece they should have knocked my socks off. Needless to say we won’t be returning there anytime soon. I would give it a pass. Lots of fabulous restaurants in Las Vegas for much less.

Got there early before the crowd. Order four shared/dim sum plates. Two came out timely and then the wait began. Twenty minutes after finishing the first two two more arrived. Was hoping for amazing flavors, but things were ok. If the flavors were better, the wait would not been as bad.

Had the opportunity to visit this popular restaurant in the MGM Grand with a couple of co-workers recently and it did not disappoint. Standout dishes were the jasmine smoked prime rib and the Chilean sea bass (infused with honey). The Hakka basket appetizer was fun to try and sample, as it came with several varieties of creative dim sum such as king crab and langoustine, and wild mushroom truffle. Crispy duck salad was moderate. Service was also attentive. It’s pricey so know that going in.

We arrived a little early and were shown to our table by a lovely polite man. Water was poured and we were told our server would be along shortly. Ten minutes passed with no sign of her and then another ten minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting with no server in sight nor offer of a drink we decided to leave. I informed the front of house as to the reason why we were leaving and was just told 'Ok' there was no apology whatsoever that we had been kept waiting. For a high end restaurant they need to do better.

It’s some of the best Asian food I’ve had. Everything we ordered was exploding with flavor and was absolutely delicious. If you’re going to see a show at the MGM we recommend you eat here before. The vibe is dark and private and the service was good. Drinks were not bad either. If you like asian cuisine you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend.

I went for dinner here and while the food was OK, we felt that we entered a tourist trap. The wine that we wanted was not available anymore. The waiter mentioned that the cheap wines (still 80$) were selling fast and they a running out of them. It ended that we had to order a more expensive one. With the food, we ordered a beef dish and they brought us a different one which was again more expensive. We left with a feeling of being ripped off. This is not acceptable for such a restaurant.

Came here a few months ago when I visited Vegas, the food is amazing and the staff are well educated when it comes to explaining all the different dishes on the menu. We ended up getting the signature menu which is around $120 each. It is expensive but well worth it as the dishes are very generous in size!

Service and decor was top notch. The food, over priced Panda Express….nothing special. I was kind of disappointed, to be honest. I had heard such good things about this restaurant..

One of the top 5 Chinese restaurants in the world in our books (along with Wing Lei at Wynn Macau (NOT the one in Vegas which is ugh), Crystal Jade in Hong Kong, Mott32 in Vancouver (have not tried the Vegas one) and Yu Seafood in Toronto.. Hakkasan though has a few great/special dishes like their dim sum selection, chili crispy beef and hand cut noodle - though some of its main courses are not as special. but you can say that with most Chinese restaurants as the best ones only have a few dishes that really sets them apart from the rest. We went twice and it was not busy - even on a Saturday - thinking MGM Grand is not a luxury hotel and Hakkansan is very expensive so not the most ideal hotel to be located as they need to rely more on guests from the top end hotels than from its resident hotel (unlike say the restaurants at the Bellagio where resident guests would make up a large percentage of its guests - though Aria/Caesars also next door - MGM only has mid-range hotels beside it). I guess the good news is that the restaurant may not be full and those that want to go can get a table. Food is way better than Tao (which I found very pedestrian and standard and flavors catering too much to non-Chinese tastes - though the Tao nightclub was by far my favorite when I went regularly when I was single. I had not tried Mott32 in Vegas but Vancouver one is one of the best as noted above.

Been staying in Las Vegas for several weeks and the brunch at Hakkasan (at the MGM) caught my eye. It’s an all you can eat dim sum, appetizers, entrées, on a special brunch menu. Kristen was an excellent server, always checking in making sure I had what I wanted and my water was always refilled. I had a combination of dim sum and entrées. The Bronzino was great, so was the various dim sum offerings like shumai, shrimp dumplings, edamame dumplings etc. Even the ice cream and other desserts were great. This is considered a special pop-up brunch offering, so it won’t be around for long. Definitely through August maybe September. A great desl at only $48 per person.

Food was good and the staffs knowledge was great (I have an allergy), but a massive no no was when the staff are watching every move that we felt uncomfortable eating. Each mouth full was watched from around the corned. Wouldn't recommend

If Hakkasan charged 1/2 what they do, this could easily be a 4.5 star place. The service is good (server better than host/hostess although both were fine); the food is high quality (though not write home exceptional); the decor and experience are top notch. The problem is that you pretty much get what you can get for a lot less money elsewhere at very inflated prices. That's even accounting for the Las Vegas strip / resort property premium that one comes to expect. Too many other options in Las Vegas (including at the MGM where Hakkasan is located).

Previous reviews are much too generous in their comments about this place! More suited to the U.S. palate we feel, the dishes are good and interesting but most are very sweet. Too sweet! Compared to European dishes of a similar style. The clients and style of the place is pretentious and over priced, we won’t rush back. There are better value restaurants around here. At $378 for 3, including a good bottle of merlot we didn’t feel this was good value for money.

Social Hour at Hakkasan Restaurant in the MGM Grand was one of our favorite meals of the trip! Service was amazing (shoutout to server Madison--best of our trip!) We had never eaten here, but grabbed a reservation for "happy hour" (seated in restaurant--we didn't need to be in the bar). Dress code didn't really feel like a thing, but it felt appropriate to dress up a little. Atmosphere is gorgeous. Food was AMAZING. $10 appetizers -- get the chicken potstickers and vegan lettuce wraps (and drunken wontons)! And the drinks! Basil gimlet was delicious (and also $10). We also ordered An entree sized General Tsao. Best version we have ever had (worldwide). I also have a walnut/pecan allergy which is dicey in restaurants with complex menus. Server asked before I even offered the info, ensured she understood the contact risk, clarified if it was any other nuts. When the expo brought the dishes, he still pointed out that there were no walnuts or pecans, but showed us which dishes had pistachios, pine nuts, sesame seeds, and peanuts just in case a detail had been missed. (Much better than Spago...which was delicious but served me walnuts both on and in something after the same briefing--thankfully we caught it.) HUGE fan of the whole experience at Hakkasan. We will be back!

Hakkasan never fails to deliver. Absolutely delicious food and amazing service, a haven away from the madness of the strip!

Great food, great service and atmosphere. The dumplings were to die for as well as the entire rest of the meal

We went as a group for a 50th birthday party. The reservation was ready when we got there and they sat us quickly. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff were attentive right away. The menu is pretty extensive and can be a little confusing, however they offer some full menu options at a set price (appies, meal and dessert). As a group we all choose the Dragon option as it had most of what we would all order. We also added the wine pairing option as we all enjoy both wine and pairing experiences. The price is steep, much more then we've ever paid for a pairing in Vegas, but it was a birthday so we went with it. We thought you got to choose from each of the sections...you get ALL the food in each section! It was a lot of food. Each dish was portioned so we could all have enough and everything tasted amazing. Here is where it fell apart a bit though. The bring everything at one...all the appies, them all the mains and then all the desserts. And they come fast! It was too much all at once as we couldn't recall what each dish was as it's placed on a large central spinning piece so by the time everyone grabs some, there is no remembering what anything was. Some are obvious, but others look way to similar. The other issue was the paring. Because the food came so fast it was hard for them to keep up with the pairing. There was also no explanation of what each pairing was or why. Because everything comes at once you only get one wine to enjoy with ALL the mains etc. Unfortunately it felt rushed, even though we were there almost 3 hours. The food was enjoyable and the staff were great, but it was a very expensive evening and not something I think I could justify again.

We love the modern atmosphere and sophisticated menu. Tasting menus that change with the seasons offer an excellent overview of their multitude of offerings. For special occasions, the HK Peking Duck with caviar is spectacular, so much so that it can sell out. The service is consistently knowledgeable and attentive. The desserts are delightful works of art, and at times they offer a dessert sampler that is worth saving room for. Highly recommend.

Words cannot describe the quality of the food in this Chinese restaurant. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Expect to pay about £130 for two course and a drink each. Quality service and setting also.

Excellent food, great atmosphere...Excellent service veg fried rice, vegan hot and sour soup, crab spring rolls. Super tasty

Hip vibes with ultra chic contemporary Chinese flare interiors. Food was as expected beautifully presented and delicious. Great place for dinner then entertainment/evening out at their club, you get free access without the wait!

We were a large group who dined here prior to hitting the nightclub by the same name. The food is very ordinary and not much better than a Chinese/Hakka hole in the wall in any major North American city, but at a much higher price. Service was slow, both the waitstaff as well as the kitchen. Glad we tried it but I would not return.

The Chilean Seabass was phenomenal! My waiter also suggested the green beans and Hong Kong fried rice. Green beans were great the rice was good but nothing overly special. I wish I knew her name but there was a lady there assisting with water, silverware, clearing plate ware etc… she was amazing. She brought over different sauces for me to try, we chit chatted a bit and overall she made it a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be returning!

We tried Hakusan tonight and it was very good most dishes I had ribs which fell off the bone and were delicious we had some dim sim And had something quite different called duck pumpkin pops which are really good for dinner we had Mongolian beef which was excellent chicken satay which was just OK Paulie had a chicken dish that was very good and Frankie had the lobster which was excellent service was very very good the The restaurant is quite expensive but worth it for a one time visit

This was our first visit to the LV restaurant having been to NY before. The food was delicious and lived up to our expectations but the service wasn’t as good, we were often left some time without service so drinks run out and no smiles or thank you but still circled 20% service charge on our bill! The atmosphere was lacking, we dined at 9.30 so plenty of time for the evening to warm up but it really was dull and therefore I wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Chinese restaurant in the MGM Grand. I've been to London before and it was a similar concept. Despite the same-day reservations, we're happy to serve Peking duck and have dim sum for dinner.

Really disappointed. Having been to Hakkasan in New York we were really excited to visit the Vegas one at MGM Grand. This was the first restaurant we booked before the trip, but the food was terrible. I ordered the fish which was so bland, no flavour whatsoever for $35! Could not believe how bad it tasted, the rest of the group were all disappointed with their food too. The vibe inside was good and everything else was fine, just really disappointed with the food which is the main thing! Also bit annoying that they had a huge dragon dance performance going through the restaurant which was so loud we couldn’t hear each other talking

Hakkasan is situated in the MGM complex at the south end of the Las Vegas strip. I managed to get a table at 8.30 midweek online. I opted for oysters, hot and sour soup, and a selection of Dim Sum. For dessert, I went for The Soufflé. To drink, I had cold beer and hot sake. All were excellent as was the service. Slight downside was the darkness of the place, making it very hard to read the menu. It was expensive, over $130 excluding service but it was a most enjoyable experience.

The combinations here took me by surprise, but they are divine and they do work surprisingly well together. I highly recommend the duck with caviar. The tables are quite private without losing the ambience of the restaurant which I liked.

Great ambience, friendly/attentive staff and lovely food. Had the duck which was the best duck we have tasted. It is pricey but you tend to know that before you decide to go there. Lovely bar area to sit before or after dinner. Listened to our request for an end table and sent out a happy anniversary dessert which was a lovely touch. Would return

The atmosphere is more laid back than most places in Vegas, and it is Almost to skies at the entrance. But once you’re inside it is often left, elegant, and service friendly. You must try the Peking duck it is delicious.

The only reason I could not give this place a 5 star rating is that the music is just too loud. Trying to eat dinner and have any kind of conversation is not possible. Not sure why the music has to be so loud in the restaurant. They really should tone it down a little. If I want loud music, I would go to their club. This place is like a maze. Hard to find the bar. I sat at the bar for dinner. Had the Pineapple Prawn appetizer, very good. The Duck Salad is excellent! Very generous amount of Duck in there. Many could have it as an entree. Also had the Lobster Cashew entree. Beautifully presented and very tasty. With one drink, my bill was $140.72 not including tip.

Had tasting menu for 2 - food was amazing, loads too much for 2 but everything tasted great and dessert was mega experience!!

I had a dinner here with a friend of mine and food and wine were great. The location is also really nice and makes food even more enjoyable. Then the bill come and the joy ends. I really understand that great food and location have a price, but 350$ for two people just for a main course, a glass of wine and a dessert is really too much.

The staff was great and the food awesome. We had selected a couple nice bottles of wine from a good selection and ALL of the food was so delicious and well presented. Nice cocktails as well. I really like the Tao group restaurants and very comfortable and confident taking clients or my wife! The nightclub afterwords if the icing on the cake (went to Tao nightclub).

Dinner party of 8 celebrating a guys night out weekend..Hakkasan delivers as always... Service: We started at the bar as we waited for the crew to arrive and the mixologist bartenders were on point with friendliness and their skill sets. Once seated, the head waiter and the team took care of us throughout our hour+ dining experience. We ordered family style and every 10-15 minutes we had multiple dishes coming out to enjoy. Waters and drinks were kept fresh between the food rounds and during the food rounds for the power drinkers. The flow of the food was perfect and the staff moved with a sense of urgency with friendliness. Food: The food presentation was so so pretty, but the quality and taste exceeded the expectations as well. We ordered a lot, almost too much but I'll let the pics speak for themselves and I'll just comment on my favorites below. Hot & Sour Soup with Chicken: I can't believe I'm writing about soup, but yes it was great. The thinly shredded chicken paired with the boutique soup makes this the Hot & Sour GOAT. Hakka Noodle: I'm a noodle guy and the mushrooms really brought this home. Hakka Steamed Dim Sum platter: Har gau, scallop shumair, chinese chive dumpling and the black pepper duck dumpling came out looking pretty and were tasty. The duck was my fav. Hakka Fried dim sum platter: The roasted duck pumpkin puff was my fav, duck pattern? =) Spicy Lamb Lupin Wraps: I love lamb and these wraps were great. Lamb fans get it! Crispy Duck Salad: Fresh salad and the duck complimenting each other hard. Black Truffle Roast Duck:The VIP dish of the mf evening. I love just about Truffle anything, but it can be overpowering if not paired AND prepped correctly. It was awesome with the roast duck, writing about it now is bringing back good memories. Highly, highly recommended. Value: I understand that premium prices are coming with a premium restaurant in a premium location on the Las Vegas strip. For the service and quality of the food and drinks, Hakkasan meets my expectation. Ambiance: Here's one of my favorite reasons for visiting Hakkasan restaurant. The Neo-contemporary Asian influenced design is classy and exudes sex appeal. It looks like a straight movie scene from the Matrix. EDM music plays in the background. For our table, the lighting is dim with spotlights on the table to showcase the food. This keeps the dining experience very intimate and drops inhibitions as the drinks come. hehe =) This is one of my favorite "special occasion" restaurants on the Strip. Hakkasan has their own valet service so right from the beginning until the end you're enjoying the VIP experience. The food, service and the ambiance puts together a great start for a special evening. I highly recommended it for first dates and group dining for special occasions. You leave here feeling great as you start the next venue for the evening. Enjoy!

We always used to stop by when in Vegas and eat dim sum, wagyu and sample their signature dishes. The quality has wained some what.

Oh what a place. In all the glitz and glamour of Vegas it can become a bit same same but not so here. The decor is very very different. I had commented that it was my birthday when we booked and I got a lovely card and a little cake at the end. Lovely touches. The food is superb. Unfortunately all of the signature meals contain sea bass which I don’t eat and it couldn’t be substituted for anything else. We ordered from the al la Carte menu then as advised. We could have cut out some food though we had far too much. Each dish was delicious and we took a doggie back and ate it cold the next day. It is expensive but the quality is outstanding. Would love to return but in a restaurant like this I love a signature menu where the chef can guide you but for the same, often disliked fish, to appear on all menus seems a bit strange. Would love to see real variety in these menus.

Booked Hakkasan for our Anniversay Dinner having been to the restaurant in Mayfair. Same quality, we were not disappointed. Hakkasan is pricey however the food is really tasty and of high quality. We chose a number of different dishes. Our waiter was very attentive. Ambience and atmosphere is good. Nice touch giving us a happy anniversay message dessert which was much appreciated. Would recommend

Really unique tasting high quality appetizers and entre Order the duck, dim sum, and several other plates to share Service was great

It was rated the number 1 restaurant in Abu Dhabi when I was there a few years ago. But It was billed as modern Chinese which didn’t appeal to me as a notion when visiting the UAE. Then when I passed by it in the Emirates Palace Hotel, I thought it looked quite attractive with it’s glowing blue hue. And when I realized they had one in NYC and visited for restaurant week, I was hooked. The locations all look very similar: cool, urbane rooms separated by brown wood Asian cut outs. The spicy prawns with their mustardy curry sauce are addictive as is the Hakka Noodles, which they used to offered as an option instead of rice. I missed in Vegas the vanilla ice cream with cherries like dessert concoction. But, with the Rye Disposition cocktail, I was already at $74 without tip so I was satisfied with my selections. My Vegas visited reminded me what a great value Hakkasan is for NYC Restaurant Week year-over-year. Sent from my iPhone

Got a vegetarian friend come in to town, craving for some dim sum. One of only few places that has it in Vegas. It didn’t disappoint. Great tasting. Great service. We went late after an Elton John concert. Other Chinese food is pretty good- if you looking for authentic then go to Chinatown. Hard to find with the nightclub lines/crowd covering the restaurant. Make sure to ask the bouncers and they will guide you.

This was a new (to me) gorgeous upscale restaurant that bills itself as Cantonese … it was so elegant looking I was almost afraid to eat there. Almost missed a great experience. If you are looking for an absolutely delicious meal elegantly served, this is the place. We ordered the Hakka Dim Sum basket, crispy spiced prawns and crispy spicy beef and if you like sweetish cocktails, the Whispering Angel will knock your socks off. Travis, you are an awesome waiter and your recommendations were spot on. If I get to Vegas again, this will be one of my first stops. Impeccable food and service.

We had a mix of fixed menus, including vegetarian, and the free choice. ALL the food was outstanding BUT the service was appalling slow. The wine menu was excellent too

Dined here for the first time, reserved especially for their "pop-up" Yauatcha Endless Dim Sum Brunch, available Sundays only. Its "limited time" run has been extended numerous times throughout the summer; it now goes through October. It is VERY popular, reservations almost essential. I had a reservation for the 11:00 opening, a line formed about an hour beforehand. Most of these early birds were hoping for a first-come-first-served seat at the bar, which filled quickly. Others without reservations were turned away. I came straight from the airport with my luggage in tow, which they offered to check. The menu, $48 per person, is divided into: dim sum, apps, rice and noodles, from the wok, and desserts. There are higher-end add-ons like Peking Duck and also endless beverage add-ons. One can do exceptionally well with just the included items on the menu, which is pretty extensive. All dishes are well-prepared and artfully plated, not just slopped on a plate. While it is AYCE, I believe there are time restrictions per table. Here are the dishes I tried: Hakka Basket (3 types of dim sum), crispy prawn dumplings, crispy duck salad, crispy shrimp with wasabi mayo, shrimp fried rice, sweet and sour pork, roasted branzino, asparagus, Spikey Lemon yuzu dessert, and cherry blossom ice cream. Every table starts with scallion pancakes, shrimp chips and cold cucumber salad. My mocktail of choice was the Kowloon Cooler, fruity and refreshing. Every dish was delish, not a dud in the bunch. Service was surprisingly attentive given how busy it was, excellent from the waiters and back-waiters. Highly recommended if you're in Vegas on a Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a regular event.

Have been to these restaurants a few times and had high expectations which were met and exceeded. Jo hadn’t been before so was really looking forward to it. We chose the 148 dollar signature menu, perfect, the duck salad perhaps the highlight. The dim sum to die for, the courses were all gorgeous I have a few pictures, wine pairing advice again fantastic. The waitresses were beautiful and fun and entertaining. Sommelier was a heavy metal fan which you wouldn’t have thought looking at her. Brilliant evening dining, cost quite a lot but well worth it.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I write this review. I have given two stars simply based on the treatment that we received from the General Manager, Neville, who was an absolute star. Neville became involved because of the many issues we encountered. Hakkasan is probably my favourite worldwide restaurant brand. Las Vegas is not up to the global standard. I have probably visited other Hakkasans around the World on more than 100 separate occasions. I would never have given any of those visits less than 5 stars. They are all consistently great. Vegas has a different menu to other Hakkasans, presumably to cater for the American palate. It was a sweeter taste in many main dishes. The food came out in total batches. All Hakkasans have a sharing concept and so food is delivered when ready not in complete courses. Not in Vegas. As a consequence many dishes were cold or felt as though they had been sitting under a hot light or worst heated in a microwave. The dumplings were particularly poor. Several dishes did not contain the ingredients listed on the menu. The worst in our case was the Wagyu Beef Puffs. The wagyu beef was swapped out for mushrooms. The dish was also meant to contain asparagus but it did not. We have nothing against vegetable dishes but wagyu beef puffs without beef???? Final (major) gripe the sommelier (who I doubt is qualified to call himself that title) decided to serve a second bottle of the same wine into our glasses without allowing us to check the wine beforehand. Fortunately it was okay but no decent / qualified sommelier should do that. The sommelier also tried continually to fill our glasses as full as possible despite us asking his to provide a smaller amount - to prevent the wine warming up in the glass. He had also served the first bottle of white wine whilst it was too warm. Now to Neville. What a great guy. I felt really bad after complaining to him but he was brilliant. He has worked for Hakkasan for over a decade at various other establishments. He even told me he had met hi wife at the Dubai restaurant. 😘 Neville rescued the night. He even took a turn behind the bar and made a couple of amazing Smoking Negronis, a Hakkasan signature cocktail that is not normally available in Vegas. Neville - you were amazing and so thank you. You get five stars but regrettably the remainder of the experience was minus seven stars and so you net a two star rating. Just to be clear, unfortunately even with Neville, I would never go back to Hakkasan in Las Vegas. It was dreadful!!!!!

I had their signature shrimp dish It came cold and no were on the menu did it say that the dish was a curry. I asked for a little cream to think the sauce down and the waitress said that would ruin the sauce. The dish was way too hot for me but I do love curries, The hostess did ask if I wanted another dish but I didn't want to eat alone. Service crummy....Chinese...not from this planet.

The food and the service at hakkasan was absolutely amazing, the sticky beef and calamari was the best thing I have tasted. I definitely recommend this restaurant in the MGM the staff was ever so lovely and friendly and the food was absolutely amazing.

I hesitate to say, ‘but worth it’ because some items are overpriced ($5 for steamed rice, seriously?) instead of expensive. On the other hand, some are worth the elevated price. The staff was attentive and the service was fast. I was there on a Monday evening so business was slow and that might have something to do with that. The decor is very nice, but it is rather dark. Be careful of the liquor list. It’s a good one and you might find something very expensive that you want to try. As an appetizer do try their dim sum. The ha gow is excellent and the scallop shu mai is incredible.

Nice food. Ample portions. Attentive staff. Nice atmosphere. My only draw back was food seemed salty. And left a dry mouth.

A perfect dining experience! We’ve been to Vegas many times and always seek out new dining experiences. Hakkasan is a standout among the many excellent ones in Vegas. Attentive friendly service, beautiful interior and outstanding food. My husband and I shared the Signature Peking Duck which included paper thin pancakes with both crispy and moist duck followed by the second course of duck and vegetable stir-fry. Dessert was an excellent hazelnut chocolate parfait. Extensive wine and cocktail menu that rivals the best. Hakkasan is not to be missed!

Great recommendation from chef Romain Cornu. Everything was perfect: from the champagne to the starters et the main plates to the desserts. I really recommend you share as much you can so you try it all. Best I think is: - hakka dimsum basket - crispy langoustine - duck salade - chicken beef polen Then: - honey sea bass - black pepper beef - saingapore fried rice - hakka noddle

If you would like to dine and get not only great food, but an experience, than Hakkasan is the place to go. We like this place because of the great service, atmosphere, and vegetarian menu items.

The bottle of wine we ordered was not available because they were out of stock. We ordered a beef dish and when paying we realized the waiter had ordered another beef dish which was 10 dollars more expensive. These mistakes should not happen in a high end restaurant. The overall experience was none personalized and cold! The food though was super delicious and that is the only reason why I am giving it 2 and not 1 star.

The layout may look like a Chinese maze but the privacy and atmosphere it delivers is great! We ordered as part of a group set menu and we weren't disappointed, the duck salad to start was the best Ive ever eaten. This place is pricey, but it's vegas. The rest of our menu was beautifully cooked and presented, from the prawn wontons to the dim sum. I'll be back here again for sure.

The food was amazing as a group of eight of us went there while on business in Vegas. Being in the MGM Grand it is its own little private setting off from the main flow of traffic. The ambiance is very low lighted with your typical Asian feel. We decided to share plates which is the way to go as there are so many great choices we didn't want to limit ourselves. It didn't matter what we tasted everything was wonderful. The great thing was that we were able to have a table off to the side which made it feel as if we had our own private room. We had fun, laughed and enjoyed ourselves without worrying about bothering any other guests. I will say it was a bit pricey however the service, food and cocktails were fabulous. Just like anything you get what you pay for and this was well worth paying for. I would definitely suggest trying it out as you won't be disappointed.

Reservations are a must to visit so do book ahead. The restaurant is a bit dimly lit and quite spacious. The menu is exceptional but we were majority vegetarian. Food was good...Pricey!

We have already been to Hakkasan in New York and San Francisco (both have now closed), so we knew roughly what to expect. And we were not disappointed. The ambience is very stylish and since the restaurant is self-contained, you don't notice that you are sitting in a hotel/casino complex (other restaurants in Las Vegas, even high-priced ones, are often open, so you can always see the crowds passing by, which I personally don't like). The staff were very attentive, the food was really good. The prices for the food were OK (for the already high-priced USA), the usual 20% service charge was automatically charged. Only the wine list was not so great, white wines for under 100 USD (before tax and service charge) were hard to find, red wines cost accordingly more. I know a lot about wine, here the prices are many times higher than the retail price. Hence only four out of five stars.

Always visit Hakkasan when I go to NYC and it never disappoints! I normally get the vegetarian pepper chicken with a side of jasmine rice or the peking duck is also amazing!

Came here during my stay at the mgm grand one of the many restaurants on my list to try. We came early being that I had waiting and didn’t have a reservation. It’s really set up like a club but has booths that are rather private so you can look out onto the action without actually being in it if you chose. Service was impeccable as you would expect in a place like this. Waiter was very attentive but not so much whre he was bothering you. I had the prime rib story fry with beef that just melts in you mouth! The prawn fried rice and the soft shell crab were all delicious. My favorite thought were the duck rolls an absolute must try. Cocktails were also strong. Pricey but worth it if you’re into great cuisine and impeccable service I’d like to try everything on their menu so I’ll be returning.

When Hakkasan Nightclub opened at MGM Grand in April of 2013 it was difficult to not be impressed, the massive façade and reported cost of $100 million dollars making global headlines while the Restaurant off of which it was based gathered favorable reviews despite, at least size-wise, seeming like an afterthought. Flashing forward nearly six years, a meal during Golden Week 2014 having previously shown Chef Ho Chee Boon’s “Chinoise chic” Fare competently executed by Las Vegas’ staff, it was in continuation of Chinese New Year that seats were again taken in the labyrinth-like Restaurant, a special menu only briefly perused before instead opting for some of Hakkasan’s more storied plates. Undoubtedly one of Sin City’s most influential brands, humble beginnings in 2001 at Hanway Place in London a distant memory after partnering with Angel Management Group and subsequently purchasing Light Group as well as Brian Malarkey’s Herringbone and Searsucker, guests entering Hakkasan are immediately greeted at a long stand lined with young women, the smell of flowers in the air while music plays subtly overhead. Stylish but not stuffy, the compress and expand from MGM to the dining room drawing attention to high ceilings over dark wood and marble, it was in a section currently empty that a banquette set for two was found, the choice of bottled versus tap Water immediately requested as two menus each for Food and Beverage were laid down on the table. Remembered as feeling rushed last time, little changed in terms of service over the intervening years even though the Restaurant was less than 25% full, it was less than three-minutes later than inquiry was made as to whether Cocktails had been selected, the list of twenty not even half-navigated but two selected after a few more minutes including the holiday Píng Jìng with Vanilla playing off Citrus plus a Vodka base while the $28 Jewel of Jalisco dazzled with a facet-cut Ice Cube at the center of Tequila, Elderflower and bold herbal flavors. Ordering three Appetizers simultaneous with Drinks, both sticky Pork Ribs and Ho Chee Boon’s legendary Duck Salad arriving before the aforementioned Beverages, it was after photos that a server mixed and plated Confit, Fruit and Greens, each bite entirely different from that prior but all delicious while Dim Sum arriving later was better than the American average but thicker skinned and less flavorful than what is offered at recent openings such as Mott32 and China Tang in MGM’s District. Moving on to Entrees and Sides, pre-requesting a Peking Duck with the reservation apparently completely overlooked and a paltry piece of Skin and Meat somehow intended to compensate nearly forty minutes later, guests seeking a true Hakkasan classic shouldn’t think twice before requesting roasted Sea Bass painted with Honey atop a bed of Bok Choy, the sweetness complimentary rather than overwhelming while stir-fried Beef was equally well matched to Wine, Onions and Garlic plus a Rice Noodle nest to be broken up for added texture. Impressing further with sides, the subtle saltiness of dried Fish paired well to Chicken and Rice just as preserved Olives help highlight fried Beans, it was while waiting for Duck that two additional Drinks were sipped, The Vanishing Lady bringing heat but reigning it in with Watermelon and Ginger while a Mocktail titled Fallen Sovereign reminisced of Apple Cider without being too sweet thanks to a liberal squeeze of Lemon. Rounding out a short two-hours with Dessert, Coffee never offered by a server who virtually disappeared after his boss acknowledged the Duck issue, those seeking traditional Cantonese sweets are better off taking the party elsewhere, the finale at Hakkasan almost exclusively French dating back to when Monica Delgadillo was in charge and highlighted by Parisian quality Macarons plus a variety of deconstructed creations such as “Sinful Chocolate” which tastes a lot like Black Forest Cake despite using Raspberries instead of Cherries. *** Magnificent in magnitude, with soaring ceilings above dark woods, a meal at Hakkasan always feels like an event, but given the fact that service has twice proven sub-par it is hard to really sit back and enjoy the experience even though both Food and Beverage are executed on a level that justifies the price.

the food was absolutely delicious. we expected small plates, due to the high class of the restaurant , but the portions were absolutely huge to the point there was no finishing it for me. it has a dark vibe, which i didnt enjoy as i hate eating in the dark , but thats a personal preference. overall it is very good and i can understand why people rave about it so much. one thing i will say though , is that online it makes out that a dinner jacket is a necessity to eat here, smart casual. there were some of the most casual dressed people ive ever witnessed. Beanies , baggy tshirts, even sweatpants. very misleading and we could have saved a lot of money before coming to vegas if we knew that as we bought jackets etc especially.

We had the signature set menus and the food was cold, tasted slightly better than Panda Express and comes at pretty high prices. They are robbing people under a brand that in London is amazing but Vegas is a total miss.

The restaurant's atmosphere is contemporary and vibrant, definitely geared toward adults, couples, or groups of friends. The food is Cantonese-style with modern touches. The drinks are good. It's great for dinner or a drink before heading out to dance or party at Hakassan nightclub. I recommend ordering dishes in the middle and sharing them for the whole table.

Had a solo dinner here at the end of a long convention day. Booked a table via OpenTable (for 2 people… because it wouldn’t allow me to book for just 1 person), so I could guarantee myself a seat. The entrance is through a narrow nondescript door (given how massive the facade of Hakkasan is) and through an even narrower hallway past the hostess station. I arrived at 6pm to an almost empty restaurant and told them I was solo so they offered the option of a table or the bar. I opted for the bar so I could at least have conversation with the bartender, and asked for the “Taste of Hakkasan” tasting menu ($58), which I had read about on their website. The bartender was surprised I knew about it, and had to go to the front to grab the special menu which is apparently only offered between 6pm to 7pm. I had a dim sum sampler (paired this with a delicious Husic Chardonnay), a delicious Roasted Chilean Seabass, garlic bok choi, and scallion and egg fried rice (with a glass of Provencal Rose). Dessert was a sampling of macarons and a glass of Tawny Port. All in, it was about $140. I can see why this place is popular. The interior is very Instagrammable. The food is delicious, albeit Vegas-pricey. Worth at least a peak and a drink at the bar if you don’t want to spend $$$$.

I did not take the name of our waitress but she was fabulous, she asked why we came and told her we came to Vegas for my partners birthday and at the end brought out a little cake and candle so cute of her - thank you so much Food was amazing as the service and restaurant. Totally would recommend had a great time from start to finish I thought the bill was going to be more but it was surprisingly not that expensive

Had dinner at Hakkasan with a group of 10. All of our food was excellent! The dim sum were fabulous, as was the duck and crispy prawn with pineapple. Service was also excellent and the drinks were perfect! Worth every penny!

We got last minute reservations here after missing another place that closed already, so this place is open later than most Vegas upscale dinner places. Food was pretty good, service was pretty sparse and it was hard to get them to come around.

Related to Tao located in MGM Grand. Ambience cool and chic. We ordered the sharing meal for two I think for $58 per person. Totally worth it!! Dumplings looked like jewels. Good variety. Dipping sauces were tasty. My sister chose pepper steak and I ordered General Tao chicken. Her steak was perfect!! So delicious and tender. I couldn’t control my yummy noises! My chicken was elevated and tasty, but next time I’m getting the pepper steak for sure! We had to leave early so we took the dessert to go. Service so attentive and nice! I recommend this restaurant!

We dined at Almalfi's, Scarpetta's and Hakkasen while in Vegas. All were very nice restaurants but we all agreed that Hakkasen was the best! Their sea bass was amazing. It will be on my list again for our next trip! Excellent food and service.

This was a beautiful restaurant in MGM and the food was amazing. My husband and I went one night- it wasn't very busy at the time- and it was so romantic. The food is expensive- and the portions were not huge so if that's important to you than don't go here. They were the perfect size to fill us up and we didn't have left overs.

We have visited another Hakkasan restaurants and Las Vegas branch does not reflect what the brand is about. Hostess are very unfriendly, she was more interested talking to another hostess rather than taking care of clients. Food was amazing. Our waiter was very disappointing. We were not finished with appetizers when main courses came into the table, making the experience very uncomfortable. We had to place our finished and dirty dishes in the table next door as nobody came to clean up the table. When we finished main courses we had to call someone yo clean up the table. We needed yo ask for the bill 2 times. The restaurant was not full at all, we were like only 6 tables taken in the entire restaurant. When we left the hostess were chatting between them and did not say goodbye or anything.

I’ve been to China many times an I had always said there was no way chinese restaurants outside of China could not compare. But this one is the exception. All five dishes where superb

Hakkasan delivered on the unique dining experience! We had some family visiting and decided it was a great occasion to try this place. We ordered the vegan dim sum, crispy duck salad, bao buns, Shanghai dumplings and a few cocktails. Everything came out to less than $200 for the two of us. For dessert we ordered the sampler, the dumpling with yuzu was definitely unique. It smelt like ginger but you don't taste ginger it was tasty tho. We were celebrating and received a delicious vanilla bean panna cotta with a candle to blow out 🥳 The best thing about dining at this restaurant is that you get VIP Valet, which is located past the main lobby drive-through. You have your own valet and entrance into the casino, and a few steps away to the restaurant. The staff at valet and restaurant were all so helpful and nice! We'd definitely come back again and we'd give this place a 4/5. Happy Eats! ✌️

This was our one “big meal” of the holiday to celebrate our engagement, and we enjoyed every bite. We had the veggie Dim Sum to start, the garlic chilli dipping sauce was an absolute delight! General Tsao and Chicken and Walnut with sticky rice for main were utterly delicious. Just the right portion sizes for us, and we don’t have tiny appetites. If we hadn’t ordered a bottle of champagne the final bill wouldn’t have been huge tbh, for a restaurant of this calibre I was pleasently surprised. We really enjoyed and would recommend!

Amazing food and service. We had a great experience and the food was great. Wonderful presentation and the service was great as well

We had been to another hakkasan before in London, and this one was just as good. Too bad we couldn't have gone to the nightclub afterwards, because eating in the restaurant grants VIP admission to the nightclub also

Best mix between atmosphere, food, design, music, service. High level of course Second diner at Hakkasan and I have to say that the level of quality is very high. The selection of food is just perfect. We had the menu to share and all was more than excellent. Going there is an unique experience. It worth it.

At MGM for a professional meeting. Had a nice dinner here with a small group of friends. Comfortable surroundings. Quiet enough to have a nice conversation, unlike many of the restaurants in this city. Great service and well prepared and presented food. Lots of smaller rooms where you can have sort of private areas. Yes, it is pricey, maybe overly so, but I think it was worth it for the fun evening we had.

Excellent food and friendly helpful staff. We ate relatively early so easily found a table without booking.

I come here every visit and it never disappoints. We had the sea bass in a honey glaze and it is over the top good. If your in Vegas don’t miss this gem

Experience a trip to China while in Vegas. The atmosphere and food take you to a place far away. The service was of the utmost and the food, divine. We enjoyed a relaxing pace of fine dining as a soothing respite from the noise and action of Vegas.

The decor in this place is lovely, really upmarket experience. Had drinks at the bar before sitting down, and had a lovely gin and tonic with Japanese gin For dinner, we went with their flow of spread of preset dinner flight, and what then followed was superb. Having just been to Tokyo in the last couple weeks though, the food did not hit heights of Japan, but given we were in Las Vegas, it was a fantastic experience. The meats and fish were fresh and high grade, and the flavours were great (but not awe inspiring). Good selection of Sake though again nothing on what we had in Tokyo for similar cost of bottle Can’t speak to the total bill, but can only presume it was a shocker!

We had a wonderful meal here while in Las Vegas. Brandon M supplied outstanding service. We had Peking Duck, a lobster cocktail, Hong Kong Fried Rice and a bottle of Domaine Testut. Everything was superb.

I am perplexed by all the 2-4 star ratings. The place is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the food is outstanding. All the vegetarian options on the menu can be made vegan. The servers work with you to customize each vegetarian dish. The fiancé and I were celebrating our engagement and they surprised us with a letter, complimentary champagne, and red wine. We had the following items, all made vegan upon request. Note, they changed their menu in early January so the menu on their site is not the most recent menu: - Aubergine, tofu and mushroom clay pot - Pan-seared Shanghai dumpling - Mushroom and pistachio roll (no chili sauce) - Vegan dim sum basket - Vegan pak choi with garlic sauce - Seasonal exotic fruits - Selection of gelato & sorbets (coconut, blackberry, mango) - The Hakka cocktail - A milky-type cocktail *vegan* (I had asked the server to whip me up a drink that was similar to the White Russian) - Fried rice [Yes, this is enough for two people if you eat a lot.] We will definitely be coming back! We were here back in January but there were just so many photos to choose from! :) Review was long overdue.

We’ve visited Hakkasan at various locations for years. We know what to expect and you can expect excellence every time. This time was no different, however it was our first time trying their Sunday Brunch. It was such great value! Some parts of Vegas are starting to slow down and fall behind… not this place! The food was excellent and I fully recommend the Sunday Brunch experience! Also, our server Calvin N was brilliant! So attentive and a genuinely nice guy! We would return anytime! The whole team were great but Calvin stood out!

Outstanding experience! Excellent service, exquisite food and a super cool club vibe! My favorite restaurant in the 🌎!

Be warned, it’s a high end restaurant in a strip Casino, it’s going to be expensive. The food was pretty good. The garlic beef was as tender as I could have asked for and the dumplings were straight up delicious

Always a a great time at Hakkasan, I've been to Hakkasan Miami and love it, it is a modern Cantonese cuisine, a little pricy but for the upscale semi fine dining it's consider fine! I've decided to have a birthday dinner at Hakkasan Las Vegas since I'm gonna be in Las Vegas, we ordered Sweet and Sour soups for appetizer and it's always delicious starter following by Hakka "Dim Sum" Basket; Royal Jade king crab, langoustine har gau, shumai, wild mushroom and truffle. For the main we ordered Sanpei Chicken, Black Pepper Beef and Hakka Noodles, I want to say everything it's tasty, when you combined all 3 tasty dishes it almost has bitter after taste so make sure to order something tasty and something plain to balance your palate. The server was sweet enough to bring me birthday chocolate cake. I don't know what it was but it was DELICIOUS. Thank you Verdict: YES! I will comeback

Loved the decor and atmosphere in this place and how each set of tables is sectioned off but not closed off. Music was good, service was excellent and the choice of cocktails was vast. We had the chicken satay and it was delicious. A lovely experience

I was thoroughly impressed by my dining experience at Hakkasan in MGM. The food was of exceptional quality—finesse in the preparation, fresh ingredients, and delicious sauces made every chunk a delight. The service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was spot on. It's rare to find such highly elevated cuisine in the U.S., and this meal truly exceeded all expectations. We savored every moment!

Whole experience was first class...but you do pay for it! Food was light, beautifully presented, full of flavour and generous. Definitely a must visit if you are a foodie..

I can't lie this was one of the worst experiences. Absolutely treated like garbage by the staff. Please go anywhere else.

Always a pleasure to see the menu at Hakkasan. Having an evening dining experience here two years ago, surprisingly my wife that doesn’t particularly opt for Asian cuisine, asked about going back. It didn’t disappoint Although the food fare may sound familiar, it’s preparation and taste are worth the price.

I came to have dinner here without knowing anything about this restaurant and my mind (and palate) were blown away! Firstly, I was surprised that this was an Asian restaurant! I am Chinese and I fully appreciated how close they stuck to the traditional asian flavors, yet added a bit of their own twist on the foods and made everything absolutely delicious! Ambiance is fantastic if you want to enjoy dinner with friends, but it could get a bit loud.

Arrived in the evening as part of continuing our wedding celebrations. Service was excellent, ambience good, music not too loud, wide range of dishes and chose a number of sharing plates. Our least favourites dishes were still good, and the best were incredible. Would highly recommend the pork pot stickers. Looking forward to visiting other Hakkasans worldwide. We spent $500 for four of us, including drinks.

Really great food here. The duck with plum sauce was excellent. Great selection of wine and cocktails. Good atmosphere not to noisy if you get there early

We were a small wedding party of 5 persons. My brother's wife is Chinese, and enjoys eating 'family style', which is the recommended way of eating at Hakkasan. This restaurant had the elegant, stylish atmosphere we were seeking. The servers dining suggestions were excellent, and she took into consideration the fact that the groom doesn't typically eat Asian food or vegetables (I know!) and had the chef adjust some of the garnishes, while making recommendations for dishes he would like. Turned out, he loved them! As for the rest of the party, we enjoyed the lettuce wraps, the Chilean Seabass dish was wonderful, and the crispy duck salad with microgreens...wow! I'm just sayin'- definitely an exceptional dish! Our menu included several other dishes, covering a bit of everything. All were beautifully presented and delicious! For certain, amongst the top meals on the whole that we've ever enjoyed out! A note: I had corresponded with the sales team prior to our visit, and let Lauryn there know we chose Hakkasan over other spots, as a post-wedding celebration dinner. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly after we were seated. Nice touch! Service was impeccable, meal choices delicious and spot on for our group. The only drawback was the fact that we were seated near the service station and register area right outside 'the cage', which offered a bit of shielding, but I would have expected and preferred a more intimate spot, as the servers gathered there several times, conversing. Also near restrooms, which were equally elegant; convenient, but still, given that we wrote in advance and again noted that the occasion was a wedding celebration when we booked on Open Table, I would have thought with their stellar reputation, that we would be afforded a more intimate seating arrangement, away from any disruptions or public spaces. That said, not sorry we chose Hakkasan above the other recommended top dining choices in Las Vegas. A memorable and delectable experience overall!

The best dumplings that I have had in a long time. We had the vegan dumplings basket and got to try four different dumplings, each of which was very delicious. The drinks were a piece of art. The fried rice and a shrimp curry entree were delicious too.

We had a meal here for our last night in Vegas and this was the best waiter we experienced during our 6 day stay. The food was excellent especially the dumplings and although there are high priced items on the menu the prices are generally very reasonable. We have been to hakassan in New York which is brilliant as well. These guys know how to treat a guest and how to serve amazing food of course. The decor is funky and bustling but the oriental partitions give you a sense of intimacy. Will definitely be visiting Hakassan again.

Absolutely fabulous food, served in a stunning setting. This is now one of our must-go restaurants whenever we're in Las Vegas. Unique, delicious renditions of Asian dishes, presented beautifully. The cocktails are also something special. Prices are high, but it's worth it for this quality of dining experience. Service throughout was outstanding; a young man named Cole was particularly effective and friendly.

Unless it’s on a club night and you can queue jump and get it for free. On a more serious note. the food is very good especially the sea bass, service ok if you are not in a hurry (which we weren’t). They did remember it was our anniversary so we did get a nice little decorated desert as shown elsewhere.

The duck is nowhere near the standard of Hanway Place. I’ve had better pork belly buns at street pop ups. Crispy chicken was the only dish I enjoyed but only the crispy part. Limited selection of beers and I’m glad I didn’t drink any red wine which limited the credit card damage. Service seemed off. Apparently Michelin don’t give out stars anymore in Vegas, though there’s no danger of this getting one if they decided to come back.

When we arrived our table wasn’t quite ready so we were taken to the bar area for drinks, it was busy but we were served fairly quickly. The restaurant has a good vibe with a dj playing and is well laid out for privacy. The menu has a good variety and the cocktail menu is fantastic. We really loved our food, our only criticism was that some of the dishes could have been a bit warmer for our taste. Our server was great. Overall a fairly expensive meal with great quality food food in a fun restaurant.

Been to Hakkasan New York and London so I looked forward to another visit! Tried new dishes! Had the pork ribs, wantons and the dumplings! All taste nice! Favourite dish at Hakkasan is the truffle roast duck which I would highly recommend!

This restaurant has a very nice and unique location, based on Japanese culture. They had a good selection of sushi and Japanese food in general, prices above the line and small meals. But I recommend that restaurant, it’s very unique in its style! Molto buono, piatti però molto piccoli e prezzi sopra alla media. Tuttavia rimane da provare per la sua unicità.

My husband and I went here for his birthday. The food was outstanding, the service was also excellent. Soft shell crab, dim sum platter and duck salad were absolutely incredible. My only criticism is that my drink (floating goddess cocktail) was unpleasantly strong but I watered it down and it was okay. Espresso Martinis were much nicer. Overall amazing experience, fantastic ambience in the restaurant and delicious food. Well worth the money. We would highly recommend dinner here.

Had a very interesting get together early Xmas AYCE Dim Sum with my Management at the Hakkasan restaurant , located at the MGM Grand near the main entrance before my evenings departure back to Vancouver , it is one of the most beautiful ambiance elegant dinning room on the Strip a five star dinning at night , friendly hostess seat us in a very spacious round tablet of 7 close by the bar , very unique concept it is AYCE Dim Sum under $ 58 , the place is busy lot of locals and younger crowd , if you looking good old fashioned real Cantonese Dim Sum , this is not the place they more into bold creative artistry Dim Sum , very impress some Dim Sum so creative over all some items hit and miss , how can Fried rice be lukewarm ( RETHEAT ) not worth the extra charge if you want some additional dishes just keep eating Dim Sum , you do get your money worth but few dishes excellent delicious like the smoked ribs , General Tsao Chicken for sure it a great deal on the Strip , special sitting in most beautiful dinning room with friends for brunch , friendly service but nothing special just take your order drop your food off , truly it is not my cup of tea for Dim Sum , I love the traditional Chickens feet , Black bean sauce sparerib plus the spicy s/p squid , but over all I do enjoyed it try it once good enough for me !

I was disappointed with this restaurant. The dining experience was just not great. The service was mediocre. The cocktails were bad. I am glad that they had some vegan options on their menu. I really enjoyed the vegan dim sum. But the side of vegetables I ordered were covered in way too much oil. We were in and out in less than an hour. The tables were seated really close together. I would not return here for a meal.
Great spot for Cantonese in Vegas. Dim Sum selection was really outstanding.
Very good spot for Cantonese in Las Vegas. Dim Sum in particular was outstanding as was the unique 2 course take on Peking Duck. Very good specialty cocktails as well.
