We enjoyed the small bitr menu. The ribs were good, and the peppers in sauce were very good. Although the salad was ok, I would not reorder the California salad. There were 2 other option. Also, even tho the place was not crowded, we were seated at a table right outside the kitchen. Speak out for a better table.

Had a beer, many on tap, was gonna eat here but wasn’t finding what I wanted on menu. It is a very good menu.

Price is fairly high for what you get, even for L.A. Would not recommend it for a family. We just went for a quick bite there the night before our departure, primarily for dessert.

We had an unscheduled layover at LAX. We had both lunch and dinner at Hangar 18. Lunch at the bar was very good. The bartender was very pleasant and engaging. We split a burger and fries that were delicious. Came back in the early evening and had an excellent dinner. Both service and food were wonderful.

Early dinner or a late lunch 5:25pm just finished filming in LAX. After waiting 30 minutes for the Hilton shuttle, decided to take the Marriott one and walk. Arriving at the Marriott we decided to stop for something to eat at their Hanger 18 restaurant. Starter of ceviche $11 scored 2 out of 10 flavor but 8/10 for the seafood mix and quality. The fish tacos $17 were good, excellent fish steak cubes, Nicely seasoned. Not much for sides just a few pickled veg. The Nachos $15 were a poor concoction of Fritos, bland chicken, stringy cheese which was solidifying, black beans / Taco Bell style cheese are hiding at the bottom but you are sick of the taste by the time you reach them. Score 2 out of 10. Waitress was nice, fun loving, chatty but service was slow given that the area wasn’t busy. The bar / eating area is clean and friendly feeling, the TVs are 5 options so if the ball game isn’t your thing there are other things to watch. No decent beers on draft, the Stella bottle $6.50. Margarita, definitely scoring a zero on the flavor board $15. Glass of Vino $11. Worth another go but choose other dishes

The food was good, but the classy bar food did not merit the price tag. The fish tacos were good and the Frito chip plate was amazing but it would still not qualify as fine cuisine. The price may be due to the limited options in the area.

Was staying here and this is one of the better hotel bar / restaurants I've been in. Prices were fairly reasonable (it is LA after all). Service could have been better, she was pleasant but didn't get my order right with the meal and then an appetizer came out twice. She removed the appetizer from my bill but still. She seemed preoccupied. However, the food and drinks were quite good.

Lets get the elephant out of the way, the prices are a bit high here. Its an airport hotel. But they aren't so high you wouldn't want to eat here. If you do you will be rewarded with tasty, plentiful food, a nice atmosphere, and friendly staff!

Was staying at Marriott LAX pre cruise. Decided to eat at one of their in house restaurants, Hangar 18. Had a nice meal (k-sedilla was unusual and very tasty) then ordered carrot cake to take back to the room. Place was swamped, and as a result the cake did not come in a reasonable time. So we told our waitress (Nicole) to cancel the order. She was clearly mortified that we had an issue, apologized profusely. Half hour later, there was a knock at our room door. NICOLE SENT CARROT CAKE UP TO OUR ROOM! Could not believe it! Hotel was generally excellent and I will review separately, but thought the restaurant and Nicole deserved a special shout out. A lovely way to start our vacation week!

I am staying at the LAX Marriot hotel on my family vacation and we decided to have dinner at the hotel bar/restaurant Hanger 18. I ordered the pepperoni flatbread and it's easily the best I've had! Loaded with pepperoni and a great mix of sweet and spicy (not very spicy though) it's a must try! Wait staff also deserve a huge praise for outstanding professionalism.

Restaurant in lobby of Marriott - only real place to get meals all day - simple menu - not cheap - wait staff are very nice -

The BLAT Sandwich and homemade chips are great... Since a simple concise review isn't enough and TA requires a minimum of 100 characters. Blah Blah Blah....

bar tenders were very nice and friendly. helped with suggestions about local IPA's and other beers. Also gave tastes of a few.

Consistent service and food. Servers are engaged and the food has always been on point. I like the various choices from appetizers to small meals and entrees. Great option for anyone wishing to watch sports on the televisions as well.

The burger and fries were delicious, but expensive, as to be expected in a nice hotel like the Marriott.

Ate dinner here on arrival at hotel following flight arrival from U.K. Menu was varied but not extensive, service was good and prices acceptable. Breakfast the following morning was more of a disappointment as we had previously enjoyed the buffet breakfast and we found the choices here rather limited. However, what we chose was good quality and presented nicely

Had lunch here, wasn't expecting much as it is a sports bar/restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. Top notch smoke ring burger and ceasar salad! Service was friendly, quick and definitely would recommend. Would stay at this hotel again and will revisit!

staff were courteous and attentive to the needs of Patrons. I have travelled many parts of the World and this was by far the best example of professionalism by wait staff employees I have ever witnessed. They are proven assetts to the Marriott Chain and to their selves as well. This was my second stay Aug 16-18 . I stayed a few months ago on June 16, 2019 for 3 days and I was overwhelmed with courtesy @ Hangar 18

We’re staying in the Marriott LAX while attending a conference. Due to timing we wanted to eat in one of the other restaurants in the hotel but the only one serving was the sports bar Hangar 18. The hostess was very pleasant when she sat us and said our waitress will be right with us. She had an attitude as soon as she came to the table. It was as if she was supposed to go off shift and now she’s stuck with another table. We weren’t pleased with the menu and couldn’t settle on something so we were taking a while to decide. When we finally decided and ordered the waitress snapped so and so will be taking care of you now. The original waitress was still serving other tables so I don’t know why the switch. The best thing about our experience was the kitchen waiter who delivered our food. He was great. He was friendly and courteous which the 2waitresses were neither. He asked if we needed anything else and took care of it immediately. We won’t be going back for the rest of our stay even if we have to get an Uber to another restaurant

Hanger 18 has a great lunch menu at a moderate price range ($10 to $15), also has a bar with several micro brews for tasting.

We were staying at The Los Angeles Marriot Hotel before an early morning flight. There are several restaurants in the hotel lobby. We checked out The JW Steakhouse but the prices were a little high and we didn't want that much food. Hangar 18 is sort of a sports bar and has more reasonable prices but not a lot of choices on the menu. The service was good and the food was ok but not great.

Pretty good place located inside the LAX Marriott. I had the California Clam Chowder and it was excellent and also the grilled shrimp tacos which weee very good. The prices were reasonable for a hote and close to LAX

We found the food to be different and a little expensive. It was convenient though. Not to say it wasn't good just hard to find something to eat Service was fabulous.

Hangar 18 wants you to make a reservation via a booking website but in real life they are first come first served. No hostess. Good luck if you have a group more than 4. The bar is very sharp decor but the restaurant behind it is shabby and not welcoming. The bar staff are friendly and fast, waitstaff friendly but the service is slow. The food was quite expensive, tasted okay, big portions but not fine dining. Beers are about $11. Marriott is usually more upscale than this restaurant.

The bar restaurant at the Marriott LAX had been renovated since our last stay (over a year ago) and the improvements are great. The new facility is bright and modern, it is more spacious and open, compared to its predecessor. The bar is sleek and open and the kitchen now offers a greater selection of choices from traditional burgers and wings to Humus and Naan or Quinoa. Food was nicely prepared, portions not too large and the staff very nice to interact with. Prices are what you would expect for hotels of this class. All in all a good hotel bar restaurant.

Hanger 18 is a typical bar/ bistro in the LAX area with very average food (average by US standards which does not mean a lot ) at prices that are excessively high for what is offered. The same applies to wine but one assumes that is the level charged these dayas and you have to accept it. Disappointing .

I was staying at the hotel on business. A group of us came here for dinner. It is a lively restaurant, a little on the louder side. The food was fresh. The dining room fills, but they did take walk-ins. The bar appeared to always be busy. The service was quick and friendly. The food was good, and the prices are reasonable.

We stayed at LAX Marriott for our flight the next day. The M Lounge was not very friendly so we decided to go down to the restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere at Hangar 18 were all excellent! We enjoyed our meal!

Hanger 18 is located in the Marriott LAX Hotel and is convenient to LAX. When staying here overnight before a flight I usually have dinner here. On my most recent visit I ordered a Cuban sandwich and a margarita. The bartender made a good margarita and the Cuban was delicious. Lots of people watching available as you are sitting in an open lobby area. Based on my experience, I recommend you give this location a try. It will surprise you.

The new decor was very good and a significant improvement from the old Champions that had been at this location for as long as the hotel has operated. which seems like a hundred years The food too was an improvement although not fine dining but they did a good job with a basic hamburger.

This is a basic lobby bar that also serves pub food. Drinks are average priced. Good place to meet colleagues after a busy day. Huge wall of TV screens so sports events are fun to watch.

Better food than I expected to find in an airport hotel, on a budget. I had the fish of the day which was swordfish, recommended by the attentive waitress. Cooked perfectly and served with Brussels sprouts (not over cooked) and red pepper. Fries were excellent too. Good selection of beers and some wines. Loads of TVs on the wall but not particularly intrusive from where I was seated.

We were staying at the Residence Inn without a car and needed someplace within walking distance and this fit the bill. It had a nice ambiance and the server was courteous and quick. My husband had a burger and I had a salad and they were both tasty and reasonably priced. Glad to eat something other than fast food near the airport!

Service was spot on and very fast and friendly. They were able to help with drink and menu selections that turned out wonderful. Drinks and food were both really good and served in a timely manner. The atmosphere is really upbeat as everyone is on holiday or catching a flight.

The food quality at this bar & grill inside the LAX Marriott is very good. I had an incredible Red Trolley Fish & Chips - 3 tender pieces of lightly-fried pacific cod and fries; house-made cole slaw and tartar sauce. Their big bacon burger is delicious - I've never had a bad burger at any Marriott location worldwide. They also offered things like fish or shrimp tacos that I did not get to try. They have a good selection of draft beers, wines, and other alcoholic beverages. Give it a try.

We stayed in the Marriott LAX for 2 nights. When we arrived at the hotel we stopped in for something to eat. It is fully wheelchair accessible and plenty of low tables to choose from. The service and food was excellent. I have a life threatening allergy to shellfish. The server and chef went above and beyond so that I could have food in which would be safe to eat. It was greatly appreciated. The wait was worth it. Thank you to the server and chef who were willing to do this for me. You’re amazing!

This is the main bar/restaurant in the lobby of the LAX Marriott. I was there on a Friday night and it was packed with a wait. The staff could not keep up. There must have been some convention in town because there were people everywhere in the lobby and a fair share of them gravitated and ended up eating/drinking at this place. I found it very vanilla, lots of tvs and people drinking and hanging out, loud too but not in a good way. Food was ok, not great, staff was overworked and had lost their customer service memory/edge/priority. Ok visit though, just manage expectations. More like a Chllis or an Applebees. On the expensive side even for LAX.

Ordered a burger to go to take to the room seemed to take a while but they were busy. Got to my room with the food and no condiments for the burger and everything was cold. Fries were soggy and limp. For the price this was garbage. The only reason for 2 stars is the burger was tasty but cold.

Had a great vegetarian sandwich, fish tacos and tortilla soup. Craft beer selection was interesting and the service was very pleasant, helpful and fast.

After an unscheduled stay at the Marriott I enjoyed my breakfast Hanger 18. Staff was attentive, helpful and boxed my leftovers for the plane ride. Steak and eggs was one of the best breakfast I have enjoyed in a long time.

Server made a mistake and had me wait an hour for food. Then the manager made up for it by remaking my order quickly and refunding payment wothout me even having to ask, so I left happy amd thankful that they were professional about it. The food was delicious. Loved the chicken sandwich.

It's not often that we choose to have dinner at one of the hotels we are staying in. One Saturday night, though, that is what we chose to do. Hangar 18 at the Marriott on Century Blvd. is one of the dining options at this hotel. We loved the fact that there were plenty of tvs around for us to watch our basketball game. The restaurant was larger than I imagined. Lots of seats. No wonder they were able to find a table for our party of 7 right away. Each one of us was pleased with our meal choices. My wife enjoyed her Organic Quinoa salad. I was happily surprised with how yummy my Roasted Cauliflower and Shrooom Flatbread was. Overall, it was a nice experience at Hangar 18. From the delicious food to the good service, I can say that chances are good that we would return again.

Super selection of brews, staff really hustled and delivers, fun atmosphere, a huge jumbotron sports screen, 10 big screens, Cuban sandwich is excellent.. Check this place out..you'll like it

Nice atmosphere, clean easy access. Food top notch. Staff very helpful! Buffett next door is a must for any food types.

I had lunch and dinner here in October. Both times, the food was solid and the service was professional. The lobby setting complete with a bar and plenty of televisions make for a light and lively scene. It's busy most of the time. I'd return without hesitation.

Abbey Approved What we order: - Baby Back Short Ribs Burger - Crispy Lemon Pepper Wings Abbey Approved recently grabbed a bite at Hanger 18, located in Los Angeles Marriott Hotel and here’s my take. We had the Baby Back Short Rib Burger, and while it was good, it was a bit on the dry side. A little more sauce would’ve gone a long way. The coleslaw was warm, I feel it could have been better if the coleslaw was cold and crisp to add some freshness to the burger. The fries? Solid. My boyfriend ordered the lemon pepper wings. & Requested that onions of my burger be on the side. This was a huge positive on all ends as he loved the onion rings the best! They had a nice flavor, especially with the honey mustard sauce (big fan!), but the wings were a bit dry on their own. The blue cheese was decent, but the ranch was kinda meh—not much flavor there. The Seating / Menus Loved that you could pick your own seat and had both QR code and physical menus to choose from. Overall, cool vibe and great service, kind people, but the food could use a bit of a boost! 6/10 on my scale. #abbeyapproved

The small plates menu allowed us to mingle after hours, and we had one planned business dinner that was casual and easy. Menu was limited but eclectic. Frito nachos, anyone?

Great flatbreads, good steak, chips and queso and great job with drinks. Bar has great customer service. Special thanks to Melissa for taking care of Lions fans from Michigan.

We chose to dine at Hangar 18 due to convenience. Menu and drinks range was OK, but we found the service to be frustratingly slow.

Nice enough setup, food is OK but nothing special and very expensive. Small selection of micros and also very expensive.

I visited the Hangar 18 for dinner and drinks after a long day of business meetings. The staff was very helpful in recommendations as well as good cocktails and dinner.

This restaurant at the LA Marriott was OK. It was convenient, as we were staying at the hotel. The food was OK, not bad, but nothing special. Our server was very pleasant and friendly, but the service was slow. When we came into the restaurant, tables were a mess, covered with un-cleared plates. There was no one there to seat us. We had to ask to have a booth cleaned up for us. Prices were on the high side. Usually, service in a Marriott hotel is more attentive than what we experienced.

We ate at the Hangar 18 for lunch. We had a chicken sandwich and the quinoa salad, both very good one day. The next day we had the smoke ring salad .

I came down for the weekend for a dream builder live event and Matt continuously would check in to make sure everything was OK and we had what we needed the hotel was overbooked the event was over book by 200 people and yet they were very flexible in ensuring everybody had what they needed . The staff Rosie Rosa Ula Helen all of which were very attentive to the customers went way above and beyond to make sure everybody had what they needed and it was the best experience I've had at a restaurant in a very long time! Thank you all for being very accommodating and even though they would let 1200 people out at 1 time to bombard your restaurants you guys did a fantastic job!

If I didn't know any better I'd have thought I was eating in Hawaii! We were staying in a nearby hotel and walked over on a recommendation by hotel staff. We each started with a starter size caesar salad, a little small but fresh and house made caesar dressing, quite tasty. Then we shared a blackened mahi mahi sandwich and mahi mahi tacos. Both were amazing, fresh and perfectly seasoned! The sandwich was enormous, almost the size of a foot long sub! The amount if fish in both dishes was so generous! We were just sorry to hear it is a one of restaurant. But if your ever staying near LAX, get yourself down to Hangar 18 at the Marriott! Sorry, was so excited to eat forgot to take pictures, lol!

Huge screen available, cold beer and delicious food available. Had a great time watching March Madness

Went there because of the most good recommendations Did not expect much as a typical Hotel lobby restaurant. Burger was merely cold (almost not ok to eat), did order medium, came very well done, fries warm, salad was good though. Waiter showed up just once. Refill of icetea I skipped because would take too long.

We stayed at the Marriott so we were pretty much a “ captive” audience! The prices were high for the quality of food & service. The food was substandard, so disappointed!! In the city where food is what everyone is talking about, I was shocked. Skip this place, no creativity in the kitchen.

Hanger 18 is far better than Cmapions that used to occupy this space but the food is fairly basic , and expensive and was the wine. Decor is OK and service friendly but far to costly.

Food and service were excellent. Grilled chicken sandwich. Substituted tortilla soup for fries for extra charge. Huge TVs with multiple games playing.

Stayed at airport Marriott night before my flight, but arrived too late for the steakhouse and Hangar 18 was only place open. Didn’t expect much, but was surprised to have a magnificent bacon cheeseburger and fantastic tater tots. The Kölsch beer was good. Efficient and friendly service. The guys at the bar seemed to be having a great time, and menu included some impressive beers and cocktails. Fun yet relaxing atmosphere. Just don’t miss the tots.

If you are staying at the LAX Marriott, I highly recommend getting at least one drink at Hangar 18! Melissa, our server was AMAZING! She turned on a NY Rangers game on for me a couple hours before they were even open. She was personable, welcoming, and an absolute pleasure to talk to! Their local beer and bourbon selection was good! Plus, they wear baseball jerseys with “18” on the back! Awesome!

I happened to be staying at the Marriott as part of a post-cruise overnight, and all I wanted to do was relax in my hotel room and prepare for my cross-country flight the next day. I didn’t want to make reservations and go outside the hotel; I didn’t want to dress and sit at a table. I’d seen Hangar 18 when i checked in and figured this might be worth a try, because I could get carry out, return to my room and kick back. The idea worked. Hangar 18 is beside the bar, and it appeared to be a very nice location. Although it was around 3 in the afternoon, it was getting busy, and I was directed by the restaurant hostess to go to the bar for carry out. The bartender came up to me fairly quickly and on hearing what I needed, gave me a menu, telling me to take my time. Despite me not getting any alcohol, she still treated me like a valued customer, which I appreciated. And although she had no control over the kitchen, she went to check on the order status a couple of times - not because I’d asked her to (I was not in a hurry), but because she did not want my time wasted. THAT is good customer service; staying pro-active. Although all she did was hand off a bag, her friendliness, attentiveness and efficiency earned her a tip. I only ordered one item: the not quite nachos because the chips were specifically replaced by Fritos! The chips were crisp and crunchy, loaded with shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, Jalapeños, shredded chicken. Very filling; probably enough for two, and very tasty. The menu claims the products are natural and/or organic and locally sourced, which is appreciated. My single regret is that I didn’t have a microwave in my room (I had a fridge) so I could have saved it and warmed it up later. Warming up stuff is never the same, but I hated seeing about a third go to waste because I was stuffed. But it was still nice nibbling on the leftovers, even cold. Should I ever stay at that hotel again, I would give the restaurant another try. Perhaps next time, I’d actually go down to it and eat at the premises. But if you’ve had a rough day and just want to grab something to take back to your hotel room (and the food wasn’t overly expensive either, even for LA), give them a shot! Those Fritos/nachos were pretty darn good!

It's been a very long time since I've been inside this hotel and was surprised to see it has been refreshed and updated. I met a friend for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at the menu, price and quality of the food. The menu at Hangar 18 Kitchen & Bar for breakfast is very inviting offering a twist on popular breakfast items at a very reasonable cost. I was expecting something overpriced like most airport hotels but found the price to be like a visit to my local breakfast place in a modern atmosphere with such a wonderful waitress with a great smile from Sweden. The food was delicious and the portions were plenty. Again, I have to say for an airport hotel, it changes your mindset and raises the bar for other hotels to follow. By the way, I self-parked on a Sunday at no cost, which was another surprise and reason to visit again.

As someone who regularly stays at this hotel for business, I am familiar with all the restaurants on this property. Unfortunately, Hangar 18 is experiencing a huge drop in customer service and in the quality of their food. Servers appear to be inexperienced, do not follow-up with customers for additional beverages, and have to be tracked down for service. Some food is served under cooked and some side dishes (vegetables, rice) are refrigerator cold. I hope they get it together before the Super Bowl crowd arrives next week.

We always stay at the LAX Marriott when heading out on an early morning flight. We also always eat at the bar at Hangar 18. Wen usually start with the soft Pretzel and take it from there. Fish tacos and margherita flatbread are always good. Bartenders are friendly. Food comes out from the kitchen quickly

Friendly service and good food. Busy and the management helps out bussing tables and cleaning in the restaurant. Chicken wings are excellent. Sandwiches are well presented and lots of crispy fries. Good selection of beers and wine.

Various choices, good service, fresh food, just a pitty of not having gluten free choices. good price.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed appetizers and drinks prior to the busy evening meal time and Monday nite football. The bar staff was attentive and amazing. The pork ribs were tasty and plentiful, the hummus and fresh veggies was fabulous. Asparagus and broccoli were blanched slightly and very tasty. The hummus tasted homemade. Beers and wines selections by the glass were reasonable.

Had wine and snacks here on a Monday night. Our server was great and the wine was reasonably priced. It is a great set up for watching sports and relaxing.

Located in the lobby of the Marriott LAX, it is a modern bar with many TV screens for sports and news. The service was prompt and never lacking. The team here are professional about their duties, yet happy to converse with guests when appropriate. The food portions were huge, but delicious!
Wonderful food
Stayed at this hotel. Ate at Hangar 18 three times. Wonderful food! Had breakfast twice and it was very good. Stopped for a drink and appetizer one night. Appetizer was VERY good!! Staff was great!!
