Great burgers and bar we like sitting on the outdoor patio having a drink and watching the sunset.

For a hotel restaurant, this place has a great view of the marina and their food is as good as any mid priced seafood place you will find in the local area. The service is very attentive.

A group of us met a friend visiting from out of town. She was staying at the Sheretan, so we had dinner there. Not a lot of choices on the menu, but the steak looked good, so I ordered it. I like my steak medium to well, so I usually say ,"not pink, but not charred". I don't usually fret when it comes back too pink for my liking, because I'll eat everything else, take the steak home and have it for breakfast. But it was so rare, that it made everything else on the plate bloody. The sweet waitress scooped it right up, and said she'd get it fixed. Of course, it came back charred (the reason I usually don't send it back). When the waitress asked if it was ok, I told her meh. She volunteered to take it off the bill, which I appreciated. The manager also came by to apologize. A restaurant cant get every steak right, but by taking the charge off our bill, they made me happy. The rest of my group was happy with their dinners. And the setting, with the lovely harbor views, cant be beat. I would go again.

Do NOT waste your time at this restaurant when there are so many better options in San Diego. We went for lunch, was told it was a buffet, then told we had to wait 15min for them to set up. Came back in 20 min and was told it was going to be an additional 15 min for set up (should have left then so that was our mistake). Once we finally got seated it was not a real buffet, we got to get our own salad and soup, that was the “buffet” then they served us an entree of our choice. My husband got a quesadilla and the cheese wasn’t even melted on it, I got a cheeseburger (didn’t come with any sides on these entrees btw) and it was so oily the brioche bun was soggy with grease. PLUS the meal was $50! Maybe they have better breakfast and dinner, but lunch was a complete waste.

Sunset view, facing the marina. Spectacular. The room has warm lights and sea life decorations. The floor is wooden and well contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. Both fish and meat options. Everything I had was superbly flavoured. YOu can question the pricing level -it's definitely fine dining. Nice and proper service for the place. I consider this Restaurant a top destination in San Diego for evening time.

Main dining room in the Sheraton Marina Hotel. Food is excellent, good quantity and moderately priced. Service was impeccable. View of marina and sunset is priceless. Open for breakfast with full buffet.

This restaurant was really good for both breakfast and dinner. The prior reviews had me convinced not to even try this restaurant at the hotel I'm glad I gave it a try the food was great the staff was really great and personable. Great views of the marina.

Ate here whilst at convention. Good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Reasonable evening meal selection.

We had good food both meals. At breakfast the service was a bit slow but I really liked my 3 item scramble from the menu. The coffee was excellent. The melons in my fruit were cut closer to the rind than I like. The buffet I had 2 mornings had awesome selections but could not keep the fruit stocked both visits. My rating would be higher if the fruit had been there when I looked for it, if the melons had been done better, and the service a bit faster.

I attended a business conference at this hotel (Sheraton). I ate dinner here two evenings. The service was great the food was very good as well. A bit pricey.

For a hotel Restaurant this is very good, great views out the huge windows, I tried the Salmon and Steak and both we're excellent, excellent selection of 90+ wines. The "Old Vines" Zinfandel was particularly impresive

They're a breakfast and dinner restaurant, so you'd expect one of those to be excellent. Today I went there for the "buffet" breakfast. It was more disappointing than the dinner. Much lower quality and less quantity than most free breakfast buffets and $24 more. I was also waiting more than 5 minutes to get seated and they were not busy, nobody else waiting and lots of empty tables. The harbor view is the only good thing about this place.

The patio is open with the most fabulous view of downtown and the San Diego Bay! It is under the name of C Level now and the menu as well as the service is 5 star!

Food is really good and located in a nice shopping village near the water front. Parking is pretty easy as well

great crab cakes

Was here for business this past weekend. Hate to go to the hotel restaurants, but little other choice at this place. Went here Sunday night, few patrons. Service was very poor. Appetizers came out with entrees, we had to practically tackle the waitress for assistance. She apologized, comped the appetizer. Said there was a "party of 40" which slowed them down - few patrons in the dining room, at a hotel that you would think catered to big parties - go figure. Food was good. On the expensive side, but pretty decent. Would I go here again? Think you know the answer.

I was attending a conference and because of time constraints and the logistics of getting 12 people to the same place on time I chose the Harbor's Edge. I got there around 4:00 to make a reservation for 5:30 and was introduced to our server, Mario. He was very accomodating and willing to work with me on the menu. Fortunately, the restaurant has a prix fixe menu on that night and after reviewing the menu (and wanting to keep the cost down), wanted to make sure that my guests used the prix fixe menu rather than ordering from the ala carte offerings. Mario did a great job explaining that we had a special menu for my guests and if anyone was vegan, gluten free, etc, the regular menu was available. He suggested some good wines and we got started. He food was very good and included salad, entree, and dessert. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the meeting was successful.

I ate at Harbor's Edge during a recent conference at the Sheraton. I decided on two appetizers instead of a dinner and a salad. I had the scallops, crab cake and the caprese salad. The seafood was simply delicious and the scallops were prepared perfectly. The caprese salad used burrata mozzarella instead of traditional mozzarella and I absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you are staying at the hotel. Yes, the prices are slightly inflated as they are in most hotels but the staff, service and food was worth it to me. Plus the atmosphere is beautiful, inside and out. Amazing setting as it is right on the marina. Just an FYI - the lunch menu and dinner menu differ.

I was at the Sheraton for a business meeting and wanted something more than bar fare. I was tired and didn’t want to walk or taxi to an off site restaurant; there are better options at the airport across the street. My shrimp and tomato bisque was meh. For $8 I expected more than a handful of tiny cocktail shrimp. And I don’t think I’ve ever seen frozen corn and peas in a bisque. But at least it was edible. That’s more than I can say for the gnocchi with spring vegetables. The asparagus was barely cooked, and the carrots and green beans weren’t much better. The gnocchi was mushy and it was covered in a gloppy melted cheese sauce. I barely touched it. The service was attentive and the view was nice. But that’s unfortunately the best I can say about my experience.

We enjoyed the outdoor seating, great food and wine, and awsome view of the marina. The servers were all great!

Had an enjoyable meal at this restaurant which was part of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina complex. The service was very good and the wait people attentive and polite. As a solo traveller, I did not order much but my soup and seafood pasta was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant with full ceiling to floor windows overlooking the marina. The sun set and the marina lights made this a beautiful and relaxing dining experience.

Food quality was very good but the selections were limited. Way too expensive for a family! For instance, the breakfast buffet offered a lot of choices but it cost $25.00. I could never eat $25.00 worth of eggs, waffles, fruit, etc.!

Had to wait a long time for my room to be ready so sat in bar section. The service was great and made me relax.

I had breakfast here before heading to a 5 hour flight. I'm gluten intolerant and hadn't found anything that quite matched what i was looking for and the staff was more than accomodating in helping to provide a meal that worked and was delicious.

Just had the menu changed and the food was pretty bland. Too expensive for the quality and quantity. None of the four plates satisfied us.

I ate here on the last night of business travel. It is a perfectly formal experience, with a great view of the marina. The service is friendly and the food is great!

Had a break in our meetings and ran in with a client for a quick salad, burger and beer. My salad was DELICIOUS - got the Spinach Salad with chicken and it was one of the best I've ever had. I little pricey for lunch, $50 with tip, but that's hotel prices I guess.

Attending a conference in the hotel, we dropped in for a quick breakfast before it began and were offered a buffet or menu. The price and apparent qualify of the menu items did not appear equitable, so we chose the buffet which included coffee and orange juice. The selection was quite small with bacon, sausage, pre-cooked eggs/egg substitutes, toast, bagel, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The egg offerings were rather disappointing and we certainly felt as though the cost per value ratio was poor. Service was responsive and friendly. Starbucks in the same complex would probably be a less disappointing experience.

Located off lobby steeping down to a pleasant dining room nice white table cloths. Service is good, menu is your usual resort dining but it's good!

Family of five who checked in late at the nearby hotel we had this place to ourselves. There was a music concert nearby so the attention was all there. Good meals with good service.

We stayed one night at the Sheraton & decided to eat dinner on the hotel grounds. The Harbor's Edge Restaurant was clean, had a pleasant atmosphere & a wonderful view of the marina. Servers took good care of us, bringing big glasses of ice water & fresh warm bread with butter flavored with tomato, saffron & a green spice (can't remember). We had salad with nuts & cheese that was delicious. The menu was somewhat limited, so we both ordered pork tenderloin with apricot, string beans and potatoes. The pork lacked flavor, but the sides were tasty. We enjoyed our dinner especially because of the service & view. We probably would go back because we had a very pleasant evening.

There was six of us for dinner. Half ordered the beet salad to start and it was mostly greens with a few pieces of beets - disappointing and bland tasting. Scallops and Salmon was very good. Pasta very bland, Steak just okay.

Harbor's Edge is a great spot with a good selection of waterfront snacks and drinks. We enjoyed our harborside food and beverages on several days during our stay!

What can you say about a hotel breakfast. We ate here once during our stay and once was enough. If you aren't leaving the hotel they have a Starbucks.

Food was OK but the place was dead. We ate here the first night we were at the Sheraton, strictly because it was convenient. and did not go back.

We were staying at the Sheraton San Diego so decided to have dinner at the Harbor's Edge fine dining room. Food was mediocre at best, I had the Lamb that was well seasoned, but very fatty over a mountain of white beans. I should have read the description and I would have substitute potatoes and a vegetable. The service was great so maybe I just order the wrong thing. My husband ordered the steak and was happy with his meal.

Unless you're already parked and staying at the hotel, or living on your yacht in the marina, it's probably better to pay for parking and eat a nicer meal elsewhere. I'm sure the hotel realizes they've got you trapped on an island without many choices, so they've jacked up the prices to the max patronage is willing to pay.

Harbor's Edge is situated nicely with a good view and a group of work colleagues visited one evening around 8:30 to get a bite to eat after checking in for a conference that was to start the following day. The restaurant was not busy, but we still had to wait over 20 minutes to get seated. We were starved and even then had to actually ask for a bread plate to help us get our hunger under control until we could get our order in. From there it didn't get any better. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. One of our party ordered Ahi and it came frozen in the middle. It was pretty gross. She ended up eating off of everyone else's plate. Needless to say we did not eat there again in the remaining days of our conference.

seafood stew too spicy, halibut overcooked too expensive no pacific seafood told waiter and he said sorry beast seafood chower anywhere

Food is top notch. Service is inconsistent. Great one night, horribly slow the next. Breakfast service was poor as well. More likely a kitchen issue than a waiter issue.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but did eat lunch at the restaurant inside the hotel. The food was disappointing and it took forever to get to us. No refills on drinks. It wasn’t even busy. Other than our table there were maybe 3 others with small parties. Way too expensive for disappointing food.

For a hotel restaurant this was reasonably priced with a good selection on the buffet. Coupled with a bright and airy ambience and pleasant view this restaurant is worth a visit.

The smoked trout dip was amazing. The main courses were rather limited but what they offer was excellent. I had the citrus chicken and it was fantastic. If you are staying at the resort, you should try this place at least once.

Not bad but the pasta was a bit heavy for a serious runner. It tasted great though! Excellent service.

Great selection of berries and tropical fruits - so fresh! Yummy lox smoked salmon with red onion, 1/4 boiled egg, and capers in a tiny ramekin, what a find! They have plain cream cheese over near the fruit bagels. If only there were plain bagels to toast then put this delisousness onto. The hot offerings were nice, and I would have liked to be able to order my eggs how I wanted them - apparently that changed in the 7 weeks since our last visit when they did my eggs over medium. Wait staff very attentive. Even though the breakfast was not cheap, the view is nice, the food plentiful, the service great, and the location most convenient.

If you have AAA use it to book your room---you will get a free breakfast buffet---food is outstanding and service even better.

Attended a business lunch in the Harbor's Edge restaurant, which has a lovely view of the harbor. The waiter was professional and attentive and the food was good.

The service was good. The food was basically average with a few surprises like excellant appetizers; however the lobster linguini, which I expected to be great, has a sauce that tasted like something out of a can of Chef-Boyardee. Somewhat of a disappointment.

The food and service was excellent. We dined by the window and watched the sun set. It was a beautiful setting.

As is typical of hotel restaurants in big cities, the menu does not change and is limited in options, but who really eats at the hotel every day right? We ate here twice during our 7 day stay at the hotel and each time the food was good. Nice presentation and food tasted good but not outstanding. They start you off with a trio of flavoured butter and rolls, which is lovely. We had 4 different dishes and they were all tasty. The service time was average and the wait staff were attentive.

I ate here for three mornings. One morning I had the buffet, which was a typical hotel buffet. The next two morinngs I enjoyed the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had. It is a beautiful setting overlooking the marina. It's a bit expensive but in line with typical hotel breakfasts.

So my husband and I were staying at the Sheraton and nite this restaurant is inside the hotel. The weather was pretty cold, rainy, and windy so we decided to go downstairs and try it. I’m not big on hotel restaurant food because I have had some bad experiences so I was a bit questionable. They seated us right away and our waitress was exceptional! She was attentive and offered suggestions. They have us a table looking out to the marina which was stunning and very romantic. We started with the fried calamari and oh my goodness!!!!! Talk about delicious and savory! We were off to a good start! My husband ordered the seafood pasta and I ordered the New York strip. We were not disappointed at all. From presentation to taste my hat goes off to the chef! It is pricey but being it was an Anniversary trip we didn’t mind it. Wish we could have tried a dessert but we were so full. So if you are staying in the hotel give it a try!

The daytime views of the marina are fabulous. Keep in mind that you will pay a premium for the location and views. There is a strong glare off the windows at night, so you need to bring a beautiful guest to look at as the marina is obscured. The service was very good and the food was good but not great. Overall, no complaints.

the night we dined at Harbor's Edge was quiet, but we were pleasantly surprised at the level of service and quality of the food. Everyone was polite, friendly, and we felt they really cared about giving us a good experience. we ordered several different dishes (six) and every one of them had thier own unique mix of flavors and were all presented beautifully. Even the salad was not just your average tasting salad. The seared ahi stack was absolutely wonderful, scallops were cooked to perfection, and crabcakes favorful. the service was excellent and the chefs are five-star quality and this restaurant is definitely worth going to.

Good service, but I would have enjoyed a more varied menu. All restaurants within the resort serve similar variations of same items. I was not disappointed, but hope for more menu choices on next visit.

Didn't understand what made this dining experience better than any other to warrant the prices. There is no water view as it sits below the street blocking all views of the bay.

We had breakfast here. Pretty pricey, but the atmosphere is elegant, and the view of the marina is just amazing. We ordered the egg white spinach dish and the crab cake eggs benedict. We waited about 30 mintutes for our food... but those crab cakes were the best I have ever had. Nothing but crab meat and delicouseness! In my opinion, this place is crazy overpriced... trying to stick with the fact that they are located in a 4 star hotel... but as the main option for dining, I suppose they can do that. $4 for coffee... $22 for breakfast. For the two of us, $5o. plus tip. The staff was friendly and prompt. Our server Victor was efficient and funny. Though, I couln't really tell if he loved us or hated us. Fine line, I suppose. We won't go back. When we finished our meal, my husband said he was still hungry. We had a fabulous dinner down the street for half as much money later that evening.

Only issue was some construction noise. The view can't be beat. We had the Ahi and the kids Shrimp Cocktail. We enjoyed them both.

Stayed at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. Very delicious butternut squash soup. I also liked the Papparadelle pasta. And the view of the marina & ambient temperature - very good experience.

Food was good..how's only the salad drinks on the higher end, but get there earlier to beat the wait

Harbor’s Edge provided me with an excellent dining experience and I would come again if staying at the hotel. Both the food and service were excellent and the price was fair for the quality of the food and wine received. The shrimp cocktail, scallops and short ribs with the creme brûlée trio as the finish, did not disappoint! Thus the solid four-star ranking and well above average overall for large hotel. Nice job, Sheraton!

Since the dining choices for brunch were either over-priced Yogurt Parfait in their Cafe or this place, I chose this restaurant. I should have waited until I reached the airport. I had the Eggs Benedict and a Coffee. The price of the Entree was much higher than I would normally pay. The eggs were poached for too long, resulting in nearly cooked yolks. The Hollandaise Sauce on the Eggs tasted more like butter than the rich tanginess I am accustomed to. The coffee was thin, lacking the bitter depth I am used to in a drip coffee. Not once did they come by to refill either my coffee or my water, and I even had to send someone to retrieve my waiter after waiting for more than ten minutes to pay my bill. Quite a let-down to end my stay at this hotel.

I went here for both breakfast and dinner while attending a conference this week. Views and atmosphere are enjoyable. Food is very good, pricey but not unlike the rest of the city as compared to home.

Nice view, good service, great Ahi Tuna. The deserts are recomendable, too, especially the creme brulee.

Not impressed to say the least. They can revamp and try to improve but with these people it's not happening.

Had drinks & apps on the patio one evening with others from conference. The wait staff was quick & friendly. Drink quality was good. Had flat bread margherita pizza one evening that was great.

I had both breakfast and lunch here. Egg white and spinach omelette with fruit --and salad. Both were good. Like that they have low carb options. Service was very good. Located in the Sheraton --better than average option for in hotel dining. Large wall of windows overlooking the marina, nicely decorated with room between tables so you have your privacy.

I absolutely loved the crab cake benedict for breakfast. the views are also great. Staff were a little quirky though and could not accommodate large crowds.

The view of the marina is fantastic. Of course the food is overpriced; it's a hotel. OUr group had appetizers of crab cakes, hummus, and sirloin skewers. All were very good. Dinners ranged from steak, mahi mahi, and salmon. All were good as well. One of the servers can get a bit surly, especially when we had a later arriving guest and he had to work the table again. Big round table was accommodating for us.I know there is better, cheaper close by, but if you are stuck with hotel food you could definitely do worse.

$30-60 per plate, plus sides extra. The $34 pasta dish I had was fantastic shrimp, with a so-so penne and a so-so tomato base. Bread and drinks were good, but pricey. You will probably enjoy your food, but don't think of bothering if you don't want to spend $50-100 per person for a good meal.

Was on shorter menu because of refurbishment but even could not serve simple burger , which took long time and burnt patty was served.

I loved the Eggs Benedict and strong coffee. The Staff was friendly and attentive. Good place to start your day. The seats sit a bit low so I had to use 2 seat cushions to sit up high enough to eat.

I stayed here at the Sheraton and had dinner here one night. The steak I was recommended and ordered Med Rare at best was Medium Well and tough as leather. Wine recommended wasn't very good either and overall for the expense of this meal I could have done better at Outback by a mile. I would not recommend a steak there at all. the one thing the restaurant does have is a very nice view of the Harbor. Its very nice and service was good but I really could not recommend the restaurant.

I've spent a week here in SanDiego and went to hit the normal places in the food district. I chose to eat here on the last night purely out of convenience as its at my hotel. I wish I would have found this place earlier in the week. The salmon and shrimp were, by far, the best meal I've had all week in this town. The wait staff were very friendly (a little slow). Sydney (our waiter) was very personable and offered some customization options when I didn't like a particular sauce with the salmon. The view really can't be beat. I loved watching the boats come in and tie down for the night. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Fantastic view of the marina, our server Adrian was great, nice and beautiful restaurant in the Sheraton Hotel and Marina, just across the San Diego Airport. We had dinner and the food was cook to perfection, I highly recommend the salmon and the cioppino on the seafood side, and the filet Mignon with cognac reduction is to die for.

The seafood in my dish tasted like they had just caught it moments before they served it to me. Great view of the marina and the sunset was beautiful.

I visited back in November and the burger I had was delicious. The staff was also nice. The restaurant was located in the Sheraton Hotel. I also love the little mini jaws of mayo they gave me.

Wonderful view of marina near sunset. Sea Bass was excellent and loved my craft beer. Good bread and soft butter. Service good and relatively quiet dining area. Not a fan of the carrot side dish though. Had the key lime pie for dessert and it was good too.

cool and comfortable relaxing quiet for that peaceful quiet super where privacy is respected and good service guranteed !!!
Service good, food meh...
Stopped in at hotel restaurant on our last nights stay. We were one of 3 filled tables in the restaurant. The service was great -- attentive without being intrusive. The food was OK but not good enough that I would wat there again. Too many great restaurants in San Diego.
