Fantastic, helpful and knowledgable staff. Food was outstanding as it always is in Hard Rock. Was new in town and Steffan found the time to tell us all about Chicago and the best places to go. The staff were phenominal - a real asset to The Hard Rock Brand. Highly recommend and would definately visit again

Just stopped by the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch earlier today, and must say, the food was great! Also, the service was great as well. I highly recommend everyone that stays in Chicago, to try this place! Can't wait to eat here again.

I go to HRC every time I visit a city with one. It was not busy at all when we arrived and our food came very fast. It was actually the best prepared food of any HRC I've been to although it's kind of weird they don't serve sweet tea at this location, but maybe that's just because I'm Southern and we drink so much sweet tea it's probably running through our veins. It's $15 for valet parking on the lot but that's about average for the area based on the parking I paid throughout our trip. Our server was very nice and efficient and there's a lot of space for walking around at this location which is nice because I hate when you have to somewhat intrude on people to see the memorabilia at some of the other locations. The bathrooms for clean. The gift shop is on the small side but still had nice stuff.

Always like to visit Hard Rock locations but I guess that’s just me being nostalgic. Seated quickly, cocktail was great. I asked for the Swiss mushroom burger but with vegan patty ($18.99), what I got was the Impossible (vegan) burger ($20.99) with extra mushroom ($3.00), so not exactly what I asked for and more expensive. Fries were good, waitress was friendly and attentive. Portion was good size but overall food is overpriced for what it is.

The service and attentive attention were clearly the highlight. The food - nachos (cold and not really delicious), smash hamburgers (maximum average), berry salad (tasty, but some rotten leaves) grilled salmon (good, but too good through) and two marghs for with tip and tax for $155 too expensive for what it was. I'm sure it was the only time we were here.

second HRC stop during our road trip in the Midwest: safe choice to get a good meal and a good beer, served with a smile!

Travelling thru Chicago thought I would drop in for a snack, was 14:30 perfect time for lunch. Easy to find and parking right outside... Looking good! Great warm welcome and big restaurant, I could choose where to sit, so selected by the window - good view outside. The memorabilia is just amazing! Fats Domino / Louis Armstrong / Bo Diddly etc, just superb! I spent around an hour just looking around reading everything on view. Prince etc. So much to see - Amazing! Food was just superb.. Burger was to die for! Service could have been a bit quicker... All in all thanks again guys! Really wonderful experience :-)

The service and selection was perfect for the girls to stay busy. Great location and awesome booth in the back.

Booked through their website, had our details on arrival. It was early so restaurant was quiet. Table was wobbly and no one could fix it, but offered to move us, unfortunately had no other tables that were "seating" suitable for our party. Staff were fine and meals were great. Would be more than happy to visit here again.

Yes, very touristy and perhaps dated but always a first time fun time. Have taken each grandkid on their first Big Kids City Trip to at least one HRC somewhere in the U.S. and not one has been disappointed in the food (good variety for kids) and great photo ops with providing some grandparent knowledge of past and current rock stars and bands.

Wherever I go, if there is a Hard Rock Cafe nearby, I have to visit it too. Be it to eat, or just to look for merchandise. At this HRC I was at lunchtime. It was well attended and I got a table right away. The service was very nice and accommodating. The burger was - as expected - as always good and tasty. The merchandise shop is small, but still offers everything. Anyway, I can not report anything negative.

Comfortable and uncrowded at the time! Draft beer selection a bit cursory. The wall memorabilia is a blast (from the past).

The restaurant is fairly spacious compared to many of their other restaurants. The service was fairly slow, even though there wasn´t many customers. The food was ok, but not great.

great burger, very friendly staff, walked in and greeted, kids loved appetizer, good size and very roomy dining area, came on spring break and kinda busy.

I can't comment on much here as we did not stay. But I'm sure the management or owners would love to know why. We arrived with 13 of us for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was a third full at best. Plenty of tables to sit us at and yet they told us it would be at least a 20 minute wait. When I asked why with all of the empty tables, they responded with they didn't have enough servers on to serve us. We ended up leaving and went to The Rock Bottom Pub. They were nearly full but still managed to get us all in and we dropped $1100 there that night. Your loss Hard Rock.

We enjoyed lunch at the HRC Chicago. I tried something that I never tried before: a pizza burger! Lunch wasn't too expensive, and the waiter obliged in my request to charge our phones while eating. That was a huge help to us, considering that we were so far from home. As always, it was a good experience at the HRC Chicago. Highly recommend!

We always love going to hard rock cafes! This one was not far from Michigan Ave so it’s a great place to stop while shopping! Food is always good!

An old-school Hard Rock Cafe with good service and style! I’m not going to lie, I have a soft spot in my heart for these older Hard Rock Cafes. They are bigger, stuffed to the brim with tons of rock memorabilia and feel like they have more character. This location is the oldest still operating in the USA and it is still firing on all cylinders. The food is exactly what you expect from a Hard Rock, awesome burgers, BBQ and salads. Good drinks and tons of apps that are all good. Love the new Waldorf Salad, its a really good edition to the menu. Service at this location was *really* good and food came out of the kitchen very quickly. There is a small valet lot out front to make parking a little easier with plenty of garages in the area.

Terrible food this place doesn't even let you add bacon to your burger for travel menu even though you paid for it. There are quite literally roaches and spiders in the bathrooms and some even by the instruments. Servers have attitudes and get mad when you ask for extra.

Stopped in for drinks, the bartender was very nice and took care of us. Not very busy but a lot of nice mementos to look at.

Took my grandma and wife here for lunch on a cold afternoon. I got fajitas and they got burgers. We finished all our food and it was timely and delicious. Would recommend and go back. Alex our service was great and deserves a raise. God bless this establishment.

Food is what you would expect and always good but so disappointed that the bar team were so rude that it ruined the night. Go for food maybe book but don’t sit at the bar!

Parking was easy, the food was so delicious and a great price! The service was incredible and seriously the coolest place to dine in Chicago. To stare at Prince's blouse while sipping a Moscow Mule is not something this Wisconsin native can do everyday. My daughter loved the Fall Out Boy stuff...I loved the Claptan, Cheap Trip and Lennon stuff! my son loved it all and my husband really enjoyed close parking, friendly staff and his gigantic burger!

We have been in Chicago for nearly a week now. We’ve gone to a dozen or so restaurants and for the most part we have been disappointed with the food and service. We received the best service we have had during this trip from Noah at Hard Rock. She kept our glasses full, made sure we had everything we needed, followed up at good time intervals...she did awesome. The restaurant was clean, great music videos playing and the staff was quick to get us seated and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you for an enjoyable dinner!

Travelling through Chicago we were pleased to see the familiar iconic guitar and visit another cafe. We bought our shot glass and did a quick tour. Always fun memories and memorabilia

Food is just ok. Expensive in general, but probably normal for this type of place (tourist draw in a tourist area). The displays are nicely done, but probably out of touch with most music today. Do teens really care to see a bronze statue of Mick Jagger anymore? The place was nearly empty on a Sunday afternoon when the city was full with visitors.

The service was super slow and although the staff was very nice and polite they would serve other tables that ordered after my friends and I. I WAS STARVING

Super clean and comfortable, the music was great loud enough to enjoy but not so loud you struggle to hear people. I had one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Fries a little salty for me but cooked perfectly. Fun place with great memorabilia and food.

The waitress incorrectly bought all of us the wrong main meals. It was awful as she argued with the three of us and was still arguing that she didnt get our order wrong as she walked away. She then proceeded to ignore us for the evening... someone else bought us our correct meal, no drink refill or finished plate removal. I had to ask another waiter to arrange for our dessert to go and we spoke to the manager. Alec with the mask should not be working in the hospitality industry. The food was great when the right plates came.

As a fan of the hard rock brand the Chicago hard rock cafe is excellent... The food and service are of the usual high standard. The interior decor is the usual mix of terrific memorabilia. Overall another great rock cafe.

I have visited a few Hard Rock Cafe around the world , and sadly this is the most depressing one ! All the ones I have been to have a great atmosphere and friendly happy staff etc but not sure what’s gone on at this one , only 2 waiting staff running flat out , the place seemed really dull and like a bus terminal waiting room ! We cancelled are food and left hope they breathe a new life into this place

The Chicago Hard Rock Café is by far the smallest I have been to. With that being said, it has a fantastic lively atmosphere with energetic waiters and waitress. The establishment is filled with R&R memorabilia, from legendary Chicago natives to the best in the music industry for the past 6 decays. Always find something new Hard Rock's. The food is your typical HRC menus, with the Burgers, Wings, Onion rings and BBQ ribs. Flavorful and filling, but who is really here to eat, its all about the atmosphere. While in The "Windy City" make sure to stop in the Hard Rock Café Chicago. You will not be disappointed.

This is a Hard Rock cafe as the others. Interior is lije with a kind of stage. Many artifacts. Food is good, service friendly. My plate was not probably washed though.

Fun interesting place as soon as you walk through the door. Lots of memorabilia hanging around. Fun little gift shop. Waiter was very nice, helpful, explained we could walk around and photograph anything on the walls. We went for lunch, some of us had burgers, delish, I had a big order of chicken nachos! Double delish!

It was my first time in Chicago but second experience at Hard Rock Cafe. The food was tasty and also we enjoyed the several drinks. The team is very careful, they even brought a cake and we all together sang a "Happy birthday" song for one girl.Crazy and fun place! :)

I was impressed with how friendly the staff was during my visit. They made me feel quite welcome. I had one of the specialty hamburgers which was very good; it was thick, juicy, and flavorful.

Near our hotel not far from the Magnificent Mile. The food and the service was excellent and the place was well kept and clean. You can never go wrong with the burgers and the beer.

I have been to a lot of HRC and always order the local legendary burger. This is one of the best burgers I have had in HRCs. Bun well toasted. Good tasty patty and the spicy topping was great. Fries good too A very quiet night though ax it was raining quite a lot Good location downtown Service was was as usual fine Would go back for sure

This was the best meal I have had at a Hard Rock Cafe. Close to our hotel we stopped there for lunch on a rainy day. A large group had been seated before we arrived but we were seated and given drinks soon after we arrived. It took a while for the food to arrive but we stayed entertained looking at the memorabilia and watching music videos. The music was a little loud for us. The server was very attentive. I had a new menu item, cauliflower burger, which was great with a large side of french fries. My husband ordered the jumbo combo for his meal. He enjoyed the variety included and I enjoyed the crispy onion rings that he shared. Although we were both hungry and the food was delicious, we could not finish the food.

Previously, including many years of experience, we have had a very good experience with this restaurant. Now just the food is like it was before. Which was really striking right at the beginning the size of beer portions. That was much smaller than it was before. And even fall-from-the-bone rib was excellent, our mood was swept away... And finally we received the final bill. A tip was already included as 18%, but there was a note on the receipt that tip is NOT included... Strange....

We were here for Thanksgiving and made a reservation at the last minute! The food was delicious, the service was terrific, although the crew in charge of seating was VERY disorganized and we waited about 20 minutes past our time because they skipped out name. The waiter and the food made up for it!

I was part of an event held at HRC Chicago and I wanted to make sure I followed up with a review. The experience I had was like none other. The host, servers, bartenders and managers, and even the valet were amazing and served our group endlessly. They met every request, went above and beyond and did it all with a smile. I am so appreciative. It is hard to put on a huge event and makes all the difference when you are partnered with a group who wants your event to be successful. Thank you to everyone at HRC Chi!

Great location. This was a nice place to have a drink, and a shop. It was reasonably busy when we went in here, so it had a nice atmosphere.

After literally arriving at the hotel at 8pm we just wanted something quick for tea. We could see hard rock from our hotel balcony so thought we would give it a try. Food was good, service was okay. The girl who served us was lovely. When we were leaving we handed the check and money to another staff member who took great offence and made a big deal about refusing to take the money out of our hands. He acted as if we had passed him something foul and then persisted to tell us to put it back on the table as it wasn't his money to take. Very very bizarre.

We were here last Friday and were VERY impressed. We were promptly greeted, seated and entertained by our server. I ordered a specialty drink, a coconut pineapple mojito and it was DELICIOUS! I was equally impressed with the bruschetta!!! Once we placed our main course orders, our server encouraged us to look around the restaurant and see their collection of rock and roll memorabilia. We will certainly be back!

We stopped her for lunch. I had a fabulous salad, it had some sort of lemon vinaigrette. Definitely recommend this Hard Rock.

Didn't actually eat here. review is simply observation of the place as a tourist destination. Interesting to wander around ... recommend going at a slow mid afternoon time frame for peaceful viewing of the R n R artifacts all over the walls and the gift shop which are worth seeing.

We went here to do something different for the night. It was kind of our treat for the trip and I went right to the steak section. I will say that it might have been the best steak I have had in years. It was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. My wife had ribs and anyone that has had ribs at a place like this knows it can be hit or miss. Her's were a hit and down right finger licking good. Our waitress also did her job to perfection. She had a great sense when to come by and see if you needed something. Overall it was a great meal and it certainly would come back again.

We visited the hard rock recently as we were staying close by. As always the food is prepared to a good standard. I had a bbq burger. It was a bit greesy but it was very flavoursome. Just a tip if ordering a drink (ie mojito) order the souvenir glass, it is 5 dollars more but you get a bigger drink as well as the take home glass

I ask for a draft Budweiser. I thought it was the most requested. But I had my draft beer with no foam. It was an old keg. I asked to have a fresher one, but the waitress answered me it was not possible. They had to finish the keg of beer. Not a good experience… sorry. The place is amazing.

Looking for a late night food place that has good service and good food - you found it. Great location and easy to get to. Open late with a very nice menu. Fun place to eat as there is so much to look at. Be sure to save time to walk around and check out the memorabilia. It is a little pricey but that is expected. If you decide not to eat, at least stop in, get a drink and walk around.

I have eaten at this place multiple times. It is just like any other one. If you want to get in and out quick this is the place for you. The waiter was very attentive and the food was good.

It's got to be said when visiting a Hard Rock cafe you could be in Timbukto or Torquay they're pretty much al the same, is that a bad thing? Probably not.Service was very good, the restaurant was busy on a wet Sunday evening, we were seated and orders taken quickly but not rushed. I ordered the Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken Sandwich, nice piece of Chicken, though it could have been a bit hotter, crispy bacon, though only two small rashers and the honey mustard was a little sparse, but it was tasty and filling, fries were excellent it must be said. Good choice of music over the p.a which wasn't obtrusive and an enjoyable meal. ($11 for a fridge magnet though!?!?!)

We visit the Hard Rock Chicago virtually every time we're in the city. The staff is great and fun, and the club is awesome with a large assortment of memorabilia. they make some if the best burgers in the city and their nachos taste great ( we order them with pulled pork). Not to mention great beers on tap and fantastic drinks. Highly recommended!!

We ate here with a group of about 350 people. Yes, 350. We arrived before the main group and just waited outside, when the manager came out. He welcomed us in early and we sat at the bar waiting for our group. We actually just remained at the bar and ordered appetizers as our lunch. The bartender was very friendly and gave us great service. I was extremely impressed with how efficiently they handled the large group. If you have a school trip or large party, this is a good place to eat!

Having visited several Hard Rock Cafes worldwide I am sorry to say that this was the worst in terms of ambience, decor and food. Our server was the usual over exuberant type associated with this chain and did his best to make our visit worthwhile. Perhaps HRC has had it's day!!! There are plenty of better joints for a burger in Chicago!!!

We found the Hardrock in Chicago to be very good. the music was great but not so loud that one couldn't have a conversation. The ribs that we ordered was a huge meal and very well cooked. The table service was attentive and professional

We stopped for drinks at the Hardrock cafe. The bar is large and really nice. It has the standard hardrock decor. The barmaid was nice and served us promptly.

My son really enjoyed the wings and salmon I hate a chicken bacon sandwich. Both were great choices. Service was good and prices comparable. I also noticed they had a parking lot.

The service was great, nice atmosphere.. we had a nice meal with friends. hard rock cafe have the strawberry shake

A must got to is visiting the shop before we went into the restaurant... I don't know why ;-) Most of the HRC's are very loud and busy, this was not. The waiter was friendly, attentive and communicative, gave some advice. We had a signature and an atomic burger, together with fries and onion rings. Everything tasted as expected, the meat was cooked fine, the beer on tap was good, so we had a fine and relaxing evening. Next time in CHI I will come back.

My friend collects pins at all the Hard Rocks she visits! I've been with her as she bought pins in Vegas, Key West and now Chicago! Great music and drinks! Rock on!

for a tourist, i guess its OK. I wound up here only as a matter of short term convenience. quick drink, and run. Hard Rock's best days are long behind them, but for tourists, its always a must do in whatever city you are in.

We have eaten at Hard Rock Cafes in other cities in Canada and the U.S., but this was by far the best experience because of our waiter. Not only was he attentive and punctual, but had such a quirky personality that we laughed throughout our visit. The food was good, fresh, in generous portions, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was inviting - typical Hard Rock memorabilia. If you go ask for Carter!

We visited Hard Rock Cafe after 8pm. Our servers were on top of everything. Two of the steaks were not cooked the way we ordered yet they took care of them, and didn't charge for them. Everyone in the group left the restaurant very happy.

Good food, good drinks. Hard Rock Cafe is always comfortable and fits in very well in Chicago. You certainly have better places but if you are not sure and want a good bet, this will do.

This Hard Rock location I found more impressive than many others I have seen in other cities. It simply came off as a higher end establishment by comparison. You had a very small rock shop, compared to others I have seen around the country, but that really does not matter for me as I am not there to shop. I like to eat here from time to time. They did have some rock memorabilia, but I thought it was minimal. They had a nice stage in the middle of the restaurant, and the layout was awesome. They had a nice bar area, and the food and prices on par with many of the others I have seen, except for the typical Chicago price hike. The manager was very friendly telling us to come in and take pictures of everything. The location was key not far from the magnificent mile a couple of blocks. I also came by this place on a "Big Bus" city tour the following day so most likely you will make it by here one way or another on your Chicago trip.

The service was excellent and so were the burger and pulled pork sandwich, unfortunately the steak fajitas are nit as good. The meat was extremely tough and hard to chew.

Hard Rock Café has some amazing memorabilia and also some memorable food. Our favorite is the fajitas dinner. The onion rings also are good and the bartenders know how to make good drinks.

On our final leg of our family US vacation we booked to eat at the Chicago Hard Rock Cafe as we have eaten at many others over the world do a kind of tradition. This was by far the best in terms of service our waitress Noah was awesome a true ambassador our Hard Rock. Noah you made our visit memorable and are the upmost professional. Other Hard Rocks, Hollywood, Universal Hollywood, Washington DC, Universal Orlando, Madrid, London, Johannesburg, Cape Town, take note this is the bench mark of service you should be striving for. Food awesome go for the local legendary burger. It's a pizza burger! 😀

Nice place to visit in Chicago. You can visit and enjoy good food. Hamburguers are tasty also you can admire the photos and al The stuff they hace you should visit this place.

Leave her here to have some bite as a business lunch. I love the menu of the Hard Rock, and I also love the American hamburger. So I ordered a hamburger with cheese and I expected a little bit more in terms of the size of the patty. So when I spotted the hamburger I also immediately ordered some fried shrimp as a side. I can't complain about the food, the hamburger was excellent, and the shrimp was just simply outstanding!!! I almost forget to pass on the word about the appetizer combo which was unbelievably tasty! Unfortunately, jumping over the food question, something happened with the place, probably I was not so drunk as usual, but I've found the atmosphere a little bit dull. On the other hand that was not too much guest inside, so probably the missing mass made the restaurant a little bit empty.

I loved the atmosphere of the place. This was a great place to get something to eat with my family and friends. The food was great as well. I liked the music selections here too. I was entertained the whole night. The decor was really unique.

Had an awesome time at Hard Rock Chicago! Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Food was great! Fantastic atmosphere!

We went to Hardrock and had the opportunity to see Sean Skyler perform. The music was great and Eddie was an attentive server.

Good food, attentive and friendly staff. The evening was enlivened by live music. Always a pleasure to dine at the Hard Rock Cafe

My daughter is a guitarist and wanted to stop here. Food was good service not so much. The store staff were amazing! My daughter (10) wanted to play one of the guitars. They let her and cheered her on. Told her to come back and visit them when she was famous!

Visiting from New Zealand, went to the iconic Hard Rock Cafe for a family meal and drinks. Bar manager refused to serve my wife any alcohol as she didn't have any id (she is 62!) with her. Both daughters are in their 30's. All of us apart from my wife had photo id's. Waitress was embarrassed and apologetic but we left and found another, more hospitable restaurant only a couple of blocks away, the Kerryman Irish Bar and Restaurant.

I've always have wanted to go to a Hard Rock Cafe and it didn't disappoint! My husband and I got the same thing "the Texan" it was smoked pulled pork with cheese onion rings and jalapeños and it was so beyond delicious but I needed help eating it because it was such a big portion. We also got the ice cream sandwich dessert which was gone way too fast haha. And our server was very quick to refill our drinks and to put our order in.

Great service, good food, interesting rock displays, especially local groups. Waiter Q and Cash provided some info on the displays, and we had a wonderful conversation with the man in the souvenir shop as we bought our momentos of the trip. Thanaks to all concerned.

Lots of memorabilia as always. Typical Hard Rock food. Excellent service. They had a live band karaoke which was good especially as one of our friends got up and sang. We came away satisfied

Bad experience. Didnt honor Open Table resevation. And staff was very rude. I had my mother that is a senior with me. Dont recommend.

We came in for a burger and the food was very good but the service definitely stood out! It was great! We had a really good time.

Good food, helpful staff. Location on north river, four blocks from the magnificent mile. As expected from hard rock.

Visited hard rock one of best been in , V the waitress was really nice made us feel welcome so we came back a few times during our visit to Chicago, food was nice no complaints

We were a little surprised at how straightforward this HRC is. Not overly busy, not overcrowded, quiet and friendly service. The food was top-notch, as almost always. The Apple Cobbler stood out! Man, it was good! There's nothing unusual in the shop either, but somehow that was just right. It's no longer in the city center

I went on Downtown Chicago trip with friends. We ended up our night to have drinks in this place. The server was very friendly and helped us a lot . Also we shopped in their store. Great place to hang out.

We had a great time there. Nice place. Very friendly and helpful waiter. Good food. Big shop... great expirience!

We had dinner on Sat. night with our high school choir group. Things ran smoothly (we had a small selection of menu items to choose from) and the kids enjoyed the environment. Of course, it is hard to have a conversation but that's part of the Hard Rock experience! Live band started shortly before we left so that was cool. Food average. Enjoyed the music memorabilia as I always do at Hard Rock Cafes. Added to the pin stash, too. :-)

I'm a big fan of Hard Rock Cafe Restaurants and I try to visit them on every city I go, so this wasn't the exception. Sadly, this was a little dissapointing. The location is ok, as it's far from the crowded zone but close enough to everything. You can get here easily. Inside it's too dark, and we get a table that was also too dark. But, even it was dark, I noticed there was a lot of dust on it! The service was not bad but not good. We ordered nachos and burgers and the nachos were not prepared as I remembered them, not very tasty. The hamburguer was not good, it was very very greasy!! :( I'm not sure I will go back to this location!

We got lost and could not find the restaurant where we had reservations, so after driving around for 2 hours, we saw Hard Rock and there was no waiting list and we could park for $15. Food was average, over-priced of course. Waiter was great. Music was way too loud, but then of course, it was Hard Rock Cafe. Would have preferred to pay more for better food, but we were tired, the traffic was awful, and we couldn't have any alcoholic drinks because we had to try to find our way back to the hotel. If you are over 60, this is probably not the place for you. We just were not prepared for Chicago.

I have to say that I was a little disappointed at my latest visit to the HRC Chicago. Normally the service is great, but our server was not very attentive as she had double duty working our table and making drinks a the bar. Portions were also much smaller than they used to be and was definitely not worth the money. Food quality was good, just small portions, especially for the cost. Average at best.

We have travelled all over the world and every new place which has a Hard Rock Cafe we visit. We are an ex military family and we're told that Hard Rock Cafe recognises service personnel , However, this was not the case in Chicargo, First time British armed forces personnel turned down. I wonder if we maybe should have turned down the same hospitality when it came to the 20% gratuity which was placed on top of the bill? Anyway rant over, meal nice.

Delicious American food. Very good atmosphere, music at all hours. Very efficient service. Totally recommendable

Every Thursday night they have karaoke, which is great entertainment. Gift shop is pretty good price wise. Portions are large. Its hard to sometimes, with the music and all the people

I loved my visit to this hard rock café. It became a habit for me to have one hard rock burger during every trip I make wherever it is. This hard rock café is really cool. It is big and has a lot of windowns. I always love to try the local legendary burger, since this one always includes something special from the area. Here the local one includes some ingredients of the famous Chicago Pizza. It was just delicious. I would really recommend to check this burger out. (be careful, because the burgers are very big - do not take an appetizer before ;p) The staff was very friendly. Great night out!

This is our 5th hardrock cafe (tenerief, San Francisco, Las Vegas and venice) not the best hardrock we've been to. We had a voucher from Expedia which we had pre paid for we presented it to our waiter and he had no idea what to do with it he left us alone for 20 min to find out what to do with our voucher when he came back we ordered a burger and a pulled pork sandwich I wast really impressed my pork was dry and cold. We weren't offered a choice of desserts as per the voucher they just brought us some ice cream cookie thing which was not good. The guy who was our waiter was polite and tried his best but the whole experience was a let down. Defiantly not the hard rock experience we have had befor the building was a bit grotty and not as impressive as hard rocks normally are.

Great food. Not far off Michigan Avenue. Great gift shop for all your hard rock memorabilia to add to your collection.

The wait/bar staff was so very nice and accommodating. I sat at the bar as I was alone and in town for a conference. I had the margarita flat bread which was just OK nothing special. I think it is time to spruce things up a bit. Add some more lower cal items as well. I go to HRC everywhere I go but lately that food has taken a turn down.

Nothing special, but nice place to visit if you like seeing different Hardrock places. Expensive as all of them ;-)

I've been to probably 15 Hard Rock Cafes, and this spot has good food like the others but the service seem to be much better (or at least more friendly). I don't think because it is my home town alone. I was surprised that it was pretty much empty when we went there for lunch a day or so ago. Both my wife and I had salads. The Southern Salad was actually pretty unique and the waiter was very helpful and concerned that we liked what we got. This Hard Rock is a bit smaller than many and doesn't have some of the flash that I've seen in other countries, however.

We went here with a group of 30 for a business dinner and the place was great. We had great service and the food was very good I had the 12oz steak. Would go back for sure. Not as big as one in Orlando but it was a nice visit and the staff was excellent.

We stopped in here for a quick drink on a hot day of sight seeing. Service was friendly and fast! Great ambiance.

Hard Rock Cafe Chicago went above and beyond to make our time there enjoyable on Tuesday night, February 4th from the time we walked through the time we left the gift shop. Our daughter turned 16 and she chose Hard Rock Cafe for her birthday dinner. I had put a note in the reservation when I made them through Open Table. Most of the time that has not been acknowledged at other restaurants for us in the past, but as soon as we walked in and said we had a reservation the host told our daughter “Happy Birthday!”. He was very friendly. Our server, Noa, was exceptional! She made us feel at home and welcomed. She engaged our daughter (and us) in conversation, was good to check on us. She asked her what one of her favorite bands was and was able to have one of their songs/videos played. They also gave her a birthday card signed by the staff, and a free dessert. After, we went into the gift shop to look around Through conversation with the employee there he found out it was our daughter’s birthday and told us to let him know before we leave, regardless if we purchase anything or not, he had something for her. We did end getting her a t-shirt and then he also gave her a drawstring backpack with a Hard Rock Cafe mason jar in it that had a pen and two guitar picks. She loved it! All the employees there deserve accolades. Thank you, HRC - Chicago, for making this birthday experience for our daughter very special and fun! We all really enjoyed our time there and we will definitely recommend you to others. We look forward to coming back!

I stopped in to buy some shirts and our cashier guy was awesome and funny. Also was able to look around and take some photos.

My family and I ate here on a trip to Chicago. We've enjoyed HRC in other cities, but this was a little disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad. The dressing on the salad looked, felt and tasted like caesar dressing flavored water. I asked for additional dressing. That request took a little while to get answered. Refills of our drinks came with no ice. The music was good and listening to a group of teenagers sing to the songs added some much needed entertainment.

Another first. The atmosphere is hella cool! The service was pretty good, and was pretty quick! I got the prime rib, ask for a med rare, came out med well! it was a little over cooked! Waiter took it back to replace it and when I got it back! OMG! Fantastic! Things happen and they made up for it. Awesome group of folks! Great place to come. Only my second time coming to a Hard Rock Cafe, I will be trying it again! Thank you guys.

The burgers were not good. Dry meat, sloppy salad. Drinks did not taste anything, more like water. The waiter was friendly and service minded, but that's the best I can say about this experience.

The place looks very good, I just went to buy their shirts and I must say that they were well stocked.

After a 2-hour wait at a nearby steakhouse, involving a screwed up ordered and disastrous service, we chose Hard Rock at 9pm out of starved desperation. Although I have considered it an over-priced tourist trap, I gave in to my frustrated, hungry friends. It was a delightful surprise. From the friendly host, to server Max, to the tall young man with blue hair, they all salvaged our evening. We got quick service and the food arrived soon, hot and tasty. They accommodated the various food allergies we presented and were attentive the whole time. Max even presented a fresh fruit plate he put together for us. There was live music, pleasant and not too loud. Hard Rock was not the special holiday spot we'd planned, but saved our evening wonderfully.

Really outstanding service and quality of food was really good, definitely worth visiting. Nice environment and allot to choose from.

I made reservations for my fiance and I for dinner at 6:45. We showed up about 10 minutes early, but there was nobody else waiting for a table, so we were seated early. I believe the manager was the person who seated us because they came by our table after we started eating and asked how everything was. I told the manager that we were enjoying our time there and the food was wonderful. Hunter, our server, knows the menu very well and was able to tell us what toppings were on the burgers as well as make recommendations for popular menu items. I also observed Hunter interacting with other patrons and making their experience top-notch. We were impressed with the setup of the cafe and the mix of music playing while we were there. We did not visit the attached store, but we will check it out next time we visit (which will likely be in the next few weeks, since we live in the neighborhood and my birthday is coming up soon).

I've been to the Chicago HRC many times over the years. Seemed to have a different look this time. Very nice, classy. Busy getting ready for St. Patrick's the next day. My favorite bit of memorabilia was the Rick Nielsen - Cheap Trick guitar. Those guys are from Rockford, just west of here.

We had an unexpected breakfast at the Hard Rock Cafe after a tour company ran off with the money everyone paid for their Chicago field trip. My son had a great breakfast, and I am in tears writing this over the generosity your location showed. All of us are so appreciative and will be sure to come in for another amazing meal next time we are in town.

I was greeted with a smile and seated right away by a very nice gentleman. Lucky me also was assigned server Dave (very pleasant Irish Lad) Just in town for my son's Pokemon Go Fest experience and had to kill time. Never once did I feel rushed. The Guiness Burger was recommended and ordered. I am picky and was very surprised to love a burger with bacon jam. The manager Clarence was equally nice as the rest of the staff I interacted with.

As a family we have visited Hard a Rock Cafes all over the world but this one in Chicago has to be the most disappointing. Every Hard Rock Cafe we have ever been to has always had a lively vibe and staff have always had great personalities. The bar man at this place was really surly and we felt we were bothering him when we sat at the bar for drinks. Our waiter, however was lovely. Food was excellent, the best fries we have had in a long time.

Probably the worst service we’ve experienced in America, this place has gone downhill since we visited in September last year and the manager should be fired, the mismanagement is a reflection on him and the whole place seemed so disorganised. The poor waitress was trying her best but had no backup from the manager who didn’t give a sh!t if customers were happy or not, some of our group walked out without getting food after a two hour wait …and it wasn’t even busy!!!! I give one star for the waitress and her effort but zero for anything else. Please get experienced management or we won’t be back

Everything you would expect of a hard rock café. I had a local legend burger and two local beers, all of which were extremely fast. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Price also very reasonable.

Food was good but the setting was very uninspiring. Memorabilia was sparse and dull. Service was good but not very fun. Gift shop short on sizes of their classic white t shirt.

Food and service was good. Nice strong drinks and all the memorabilia from Prince, Madona and others.

End of a quick trip to Chi, but also a nice trip down memory lane. Hard Rock always has cool memorabilia. This one has a drum set from Styx, one of my favorite bands, and it took me back to the Mr. Roboto Tour I saw in 1984. Nice little throwback Thursday! Of course the bacon cheese was excellent and the service was very friendly. A definite return location.

Food arrived cold, skimpy with sauces, items missing compared to what was on the menu, difficult to get server's attention.

Spent a Friday night here during St. Patty's Day festivities. The food is pretty good. Beer was cold. Ate a burger that went great with the beer. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time. Lots of people singing. Fun atmosphere.

Can't go wrong with the Hard Rock. Food was good, drinks even better. Our bartender, Alex was the best. Great hospitality!

I was fully impressed with this establishment from the moment I was first greeted by the hostess. She was purely delightful! My table server was very attentive and most pleasant. My food came out as ordered, hot and in a timely manner. They were even kind enough to offer me a free birthday Sundae to help me celebrate my big day. A welcomed frozen treat that was good to the last bite. The staff were all most courteous, polite and professional from the manager to the clerks running the gift shop. I enjoyed my experience from beginning to end and would hope that you, too, would have a most enjoyable dining experience with great service and delicious food. I have no complaints or suggestions to offer other than to remember to flash your AAA card in the gift shop for an added discount on merchandise purchased. I never knew this until a couple of years back. When I think of all the years I missed out on these added savings while visiting Hard Rock locations around the world. Oh well, that's how it goes sometime, but I don't want you to miss out on this wonderful savings. This location offers free parking and has a fairly good sized parking lot allowing you to park right next to the building, which makes parking very convenient in a downtown location. Look for the overly sized guitar sign on the corner of the lot and you have reached this destination.

The place was packed very busy, our waiter wasn't very switched on & it took a long time to order. My food was great but I know others in our group weren't so impressed & the table behind us sent everything back as it was cold. The Waiter was very persistent with wanting a tip even after focing us to pay a 15% service charge, I wouldn't go back.

My first stay at Hard Rock Chain. The place is nice, great atmosphere a bit disturbed at the moment by a likel school classes visiting it. The staff was perfect, very helpful and advising the right drinks and food to choose. Local beer was excelent.

Great location, good food and great service. All you expect from this great chain. Always love the memorabilia.

We go to every hard rock we find during our vacation, to see the memorabilia and see also how it looks like. This HR is really nice, and we had the luck to have dinner when there was live music on the stage. Very good experience(and food and waiters, as always).

Went here for dinner with my high school friend. Our server was very jolly and funny...the food and drinks were great! The ambiance is quite nostalgic with all the famous singers instruments and concert ensembles...

Our server was super helpful, nearly overly helpful. The food was, at best, average. Everything was over cooked and dry.

This was a return to the Chicago Hard Rock after many years, Our experience was wonderful. First of all the atmosphere is fun and open. Don't miss the large guitar by the street for a photo opportunity. We sat at the bar and Fitzy took care of us with wonderful customer service. Very friendly atmosphere around the bar and people conversing together. We had the jumbo combination appetizer platter and drinks. I of course hit the Rock Shop where Zanaiya provided outstanding friendly service, Great pin selection! The memorabilia at this one is great. Great photo of Keith Richards. The blues wall is outstanding with Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy along with others. Great triple photo display of Bowie, Sting, and Carlos Santana. Great location but perhaps we did not park in the right place. Next door is an independant lot that was 15.00. Welcome to Chicago. Other than that everything was wonderful and the staff is outstanding. Well worth it whether you frequent Hard Rocks a lot or not.

My family came here for my lil' cousin's Birthday and had an EPIC BLAST with our server Hunter!!! He is the best server I've ever had in my entire life! So energetic, so full of pizzazz, so quick with the comebacks!! He had us laughing and it was such an enjoyable dinner! The Chicken Mac & Cheese is a must try! Will recommend to all my friends!!

Food was good, nothing special. An average hard rock cafe; there are so many great food alternatives in Chicago.

Got to order the take away burger . Also purchased some souvenir merchandise. Actually tried to dine with my family but we felt unwelcome. Tried to shrug it off . Just posed for pics while waiting . Maybe it was just wrong timing on our part .

You pay for the atmosphere. Food is good, decor amazing, our server was friendly, funny and attentive.

My Wife and I try to Visit each Hard Rock in every city of our Travels. The food is good. Almost the same at every location. But the Rock n Roll memorabilia is always real, and different at each location. Chicago has a whole wall dedicated to the Chicago Blues Music!

Saturday evening group of 3, my first to this location, for dinner, drinks and to enjoy the live band. Service was fantastic, the waitress was excellent, took great care of us. The kitchen, on the other hand, didn't impress us at all. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best, ribs were good, fell off the bone but lukewarm at best, and the pulled pork was just plain blah. Food - unimpressive especially for the price, Service - FANTASTIC!

Very friendly staff, clean restaurant, quick service. Food tasted great. Always love going to a new Hard Rock.

It is one of the smaller HRC that we have visited but it came up big with personality. The staff here were all very friendly and accommodating. We must have been checked in on about 8 times during our meal from different workers. Our waitress was the best. She was funny and offered us some good tips about Chicago. The food was your typical HRC food so good, not great but let's face it you don 't always come hear for the 5 star meals. The most interesting piece of history they have inside is not even on display for the public. There is a door upstairs that must lead to an office and it was open when I was up there and I saw a poster of the Beatles signed by all of them. I wish I could have gotten a closer look but it was in the office area so off limits!

We stopped in just to have a beer or two and check out the memorabilia. We went in and it was dead in the restaurant. We sat at the bar and service was fast and they were very nice. But it should have been fast as there was only about a dozen people at the bar.

The vegetarian options at this place is appalling. 2 options: salad or a cauliflower burger. I chose the cauliflower burger which is loaded with cheese!!! Goats cheese inside and topped with Monterey Jack cheese. I'm not a huge cheese fan so I asked for no jack cheese on top. The burger itself tasted strongly of goats cheese, I could hardly taste the cauliflower. Not what I expected at all. Hard Rock Cafe is an infamous chain and I just hoped there would be more vegetarian options to choose from. My server didn't even ask why I hadn't finished it. However, my boyfriend ordered the legendary burger and loved it. So if you like meat, this place has you sorted. Also, our server didn't seem interested in our table and gave us the bill before even asking if we wanted any desserts. Seemed like he wanted us rushed out.

I’ve been to Chicago 5x and every time hard rock did not disappoint. Other cities have been a let down...Stl (my hometown) and Nashville ( gross) the food was delicious...the service was excellent! If you like music and food here is your answer to “where should we eat?”

Called in for lunch last week, on a return trip to Chicago. The place was almost empty but it was Sunday Lunchtime. I had a Salad and onion rings and a beer, good old HR fayre. The food was good beer chilled just right. The Bar staff was pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere could have been better but for sunday lunch was ok.

For being a Hard Rock in downtown Chicago, it was a nice dinner. Cost was moderate for downtown Chicago. Had a nice dinner and waiter was good.

Great place to stop in for a drink, meal or shopping. I always visit the HRC and pick up a shot glass or pin. We didn't have anything to eat or drink this time. Love this location and definitely going back when we get back into Chicago.

I enjoy drinks and apps here. The deserts are also very good and large enough to share. The music can be loud if there is a band playing. They also do get really crowded at night. They have valet parking so that is nice in the area as parking is at a premium.

The menu is good, the atmosphere is classic Hard Rock Cafe with plenty of memorabilia. Walked in for lunch with no problems on a Sunday, no wait. Off Michigan Avenue. Good selection of Chicago merchandise at their store too.

The Iconic one!! Iconic place to visit and grab a beer and buy your souvenirs for you kids and friends back home in Europe. Don’t go for the food is just fast food served in great ambiance

As most of the Hard Rock Cafe located all around the world this local as the special taste of all them. Decorated with a lot of emblematics stuff like guitars, clothes from the iconics rock stars. The store has a huge diversity!

Our waitress was so unfriendly. I ordered a salad and asked for no onions. It came with onions and half of it was cabbage which I was trying to pick through for lettuce. I pointed the onions out and she grabbed my plate and stormed off. Didn’t say a word. Saw her complaining in the back. She came back with a new one 10 minutes later. The new salad had barely any dressing. Couldn’t ask for more because she never came back again, never refilled my water was just not interested in our table any more. I asked for the check and ran. They also charge for non-alcohol fee if you don’t get a drink. Will never take my family there again.

Was completely disappointed when I attended here. I'd sat at the bar, awaiting service for several minutes- I'd understand the delay had it been remotely busy. My cocktail cost around $16, as I wanted to keep the glass. When I paid for my drink with a $20 the bar tender automatically assumed that I'd left a tip and put my change in his pocket! Perhaps more fool me not to request my money back but couldn't believe his audacity. First Hard Rock Cafe I've been to which was completely quiet- only a handful of people in which in itself speaks volumes. I work in this trade myself and would never assume that a customer leaves a tip without them explicitly stating so- more mad at myself for not speaking up mind you.

We sat for drinks when we went here as well and found the waiters to be very good and trained the hard rock way although there was confusion about happy hour and what was included

We really enjoyed our visit. Good food, AWESOME service and lots of fun to see all of the memorabilia.

Amazing food, excellent service and great experience. Check out this Hard Rock Restaurant - best I've been to.

Hard Rock Cafe is always a great stop to eat! Our server was very friendly! Plus music while you eat is always a bonus! After you eat stop at the cafe shop!

I had dinner here with a group of colleagues on business in Chicago. I didn't have high expectations, so I was pleasantly surprised. The menu has many variations on a limited range of foods. I chose the Lava Java Burger, which is prepared with a coffee rub and served with a grilled jalapeño. The burger was cooked to medium, as ordered, and delicious. The toppings added flavor and texture without making things soggy. The beef was of good quality and the coffee rub was delicious. I chose a side salad, although the burger still came with fries, which I found to be a bit too heavy a meal, though my colleagues were happy to eat them. I combined it with a Goose Island beer and left satisfied.

As a reward member I try to visit as many HRC’s as I can! And this one didn’t disappoint either. A lovely warm atmosphere with the beloved dishes, made for a great lunch.

We had a great time at the Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago, our waiter was very helpful recommending the specials and a cucumber mojito. Will be back for sure on our next visit to the Wind City

We stopped at by twice at the hardrock and the service was great they could not do enough for us. The food and cocktails were also great we all had a great time.

Very clean, prompt service, great food! Had their barbecue pork sandwich with apple and slaw. Yummy! Fries were great! There Blackberry Sangria cocktail was soooo good! Love everything about the place.

As a fan of Hard Rock Cafe I loved this one. It was my first time in Chicago, I went here straight away to have my favourite hickory BBQ ribs! They are the best!! It wasn't too busy, there were only us and another table. Service was good and staff was friendly! Loved it and got my Hard Rock Cafe pin 😊

I've been to hardrock's around the world, and they're consistently entertaining, with lots of memorabilia to view.

We go to Hard Rock for the T shirts and the music as well as the food. It was good as usual. And half a block from our hotel.
Always an Adventure
We took our grandson, who is a senior in high school, here today and had fun talking about when we visited the Hard Rock Barcelona when he was three. Hard Rock Cafes are always fun with lots of conversation items. Plus the food is consistently good.
