Would Come Again!

By 3CALS |

I’m surprised to say this is the first time I’ve eaten at a Hard Rock. It was walking distance from our hotel so we chose it for a quick and easy meal before a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Everyone who worked there that we encountered couldn’t have been nicer. I would have expected the opposite, frankly, because of its touristy/busy location on Hollywood Blvd. The food was really great. My husband had a pulled pork sandwich and I had the Southwestern flatbread. The only thing I didn’t love was my drink; it had a weird tart, sort of indescribable taste to it. However we loved the vibe and our time here so we’d definitely come back of try other locations.

DISCRIMINATION AS LATINOS

By sugerencias n |

We went to dinner at this restaurant Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood Blvd Los Angeles California , and the waiter told us the manager of the place called Bo (American), discriminated against us for being Latino/Latina , NEVER imagined that in that company still existed at this time in these years in this century DISCRIMINATION FOR BEING FROM LATIN AMERICA . We got the soda and the food, it took us a long time to take the order and it was not gentle at all but not gentle. The place manager was called to report this situation.

Delicious food and great service!

By The Jet Setter |

Our family visited Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food. The nachos were to die for, and I wish I had went back one more time before our trip ended! The service was good and pricing decent for being located on the strip.

HARD ROCK CAFE LOS ANGELES - A GEM

By cbar2023 |

charming place. - like many Hard Rock Cafes in the world. full of truly unmissable music and cinema exhibits. beautiful structure and very good food. really nice and welcoming staff

service and welcome not up to standard

By globtrotteuse |

If there is one place where this concept makes sense, it is the city of Los Angeles, but the service and hospitality have fallen short.

Great food and service!

By Zoé B |

Our waiter was very nice, came to check on us often and we got our food very quickly! The food was amazing, we had 3 different plates, and were all 10/10! Would definitely go back!

Difficult to get Reservations

By Dean_Amy-2004 |

With current COVID restrictions, capacity is very restricted and by reservation only. We could not get a reservation so just visited the shop and found another spot to eat.

Fun at The Hard Rock

By fh0q6ot84n |

This restaurant was right in the middle of the action. Good had large portions and service was perfect. Delicious food.

Hard Rock Cafe

By 947geraldine |

Been to several HRC all over the world. Food was excellent, service was brilliant and it was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a proper LA American experience.

It's still a hard rock cafe like any other

By Zazalette |

We love hard rock cafes. We go to the cities where we travel. It remains expensive but we love the concept and the devours. The food is vorrect. But we were asked for our passports to make sure we were over 18 (we're close to 60!) probably a rule of California but when the waiter led was uptight and not nice

Good, but nothing special.

By Sokratis_E_Photo |

Good and many taste options. Nothing special or special to justify its reputation. He didn't have Live when we went. Polite and helpful staff.

Bry was a great waiter

By David L |

Visited for dinner and Bry was fantastic. We ordered the cheese flat bread without cheese (as my girlfriend doesn’t like cheese) which he said he would do for us. This was very tasty and we were really happy that he done this. Secondly he was on the ball constantly with the refilling of the drinks and was a great help. 10/10 for this Hard Rock 👍🏼

Great Mood in the evening

By Andreas_aus_B |

The Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood is especially nice in the evening. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the Service friendly. The location in the middle of Hollywood makes for a great atmosphere – ideal for ending the evening relaxed. Highly recommended!

Is OK to stop by for a quick visit

By Joanne B |

We popped in for a couple of beers and as to be expected the place is very busy and over rated. God bless the name / logo :)

Waste of time

By SimonInce1961 |

Looked like it might hit the spot, plenty of empty table, we were very hungry. Chia- on door asked if we had a reservation, when we said no, he said you’ll have to wait over there, now baring mind we can see at least 15 empty table we were a bit taken back, after 5 mins waiting we left, complete waste of time, shame on you

The best service at the chain!

By Lydia |

Best bar tender we’ve had at hard rock(and we’ve been to 20 plus)! Bill and his manager Mache are a huge asset to the team. Thank you for making us feel so welcome in LA.

Lost the magic

By Hugh |

Restaurant empty so why did we get such a crumby table, bad start.Menu very limited to what it used to be, wifes order wrong but she was hungry so kept it, waitress not very attentive , my pint glass was empty most of the time. Hrc has had its day and to be fair it used to be one of my favourites but this has to be the last time i waste my money.

Wasn’t up to the standard usually expected

By Walshy Travels 🇬🇧 |

We made a reservation for our daughter’s milestone 13th birthday and but it clearly on the reservation it was for this purpose but this sadly wasn’t acknowledged nor marked by HR in any way. My wife and I have been to Cafe’s around the world so know how they usually mark someone’s birthday and wanted to surprise our daughter with this experience to but it wasn’t to be. It was busy so we are glad at least we reserved as walk ins were being turned away. In the end it was the food that was the most disappointing. My daughter’s all American sliders were burnt - so burnt we tried to cut off the outter layer of meat so she would eat it without complaint; but it was too hard a knife would not cut through it. We had this replaced as Josh our server did say they were not supposed to be burnt. Sadly however it took 15mins to come out by which time the rest of us had eaten and were ready to go. The chicken tenders too are normally very juicy bits of chicken but there was more batter than chicken on this occasion and they were placed conveniently to try and disguise the very cold fries underneath. The BBQ burgers however were great. Including still giving a generous tip considering the let downs, it was the most disappointing $200 we’ve spent on a Hard Rock experience. There was some redemption from one of the store workers who did acknowledge our daughter’s birthday & who gave her a discount on the jumper she bought with her birthday money.

The best cafe in Hollywood

By alice |

My family tried to book the cafe online, although there was no booking available. We decided to try our luck and go in-person to see if we could get a seat - luckily it took less than five minutes and we were in! Our server for the night was Patrick. Patrick was an absolute star and the best server I've ever had in not just the Hard Rock Cafe but in any restaurant I've been to. He would make sure to take our order and what not, but also made time to have a real conversation with us and was genuinely interested in what we had to say - and vice versa! I definitely think the idea of having the students from the music school that you attend Patrick perform live at the Cafe is an excellent idea! The cafe provided excellent service time and food quality, as well as live music! We sat upstairs near the walls and we could only see the musicians clearly if we stood up, although I think it's a smart idea to have tv screens in your booth for a better view. Food wise we had the WINGS as a main meal instead of a starter, The only negative I'd say to this whole experience is that the bathrooms represented those of a subway. They were utterly disgusting with toilet paper all over the floor and very unclean in the cubicals. We let the staff know and hopefully something will be fixed for future guests. Other than the bathrooms, this restaurant was amazing. I would 100% go again!

Has Hard Rock had its day?

By JMHF |

My first visit to a Hard Rock Cafe in a long time, we chose to go here for ease after a busy day of sightseeing. We arrived early evening to a friendly welcome and told there was a 45 minute wait for a table for 2 - strangely, the restaurant was practically empty but we chose to wait and have a drink in the bar. Service was quick and friendly, and we decided this was a nicer area to eat than the restaurant. A table soon became free and needed clearing. Orders were taken on the back of a scrap of paper by a friendly guy, the table cleared but very surprisingly not wiped down. He seemed equally surprised when I asked for it to be wiped (having seen him do the table next to us) and proceeded to use the wet wipe used on the previous table and comment that he didn’t think it was dirty - clearly Covid and germs don’t exist here even though he had a mask on 🤢 Our drinks and shared starter arrived quickly - the food was good, plates cleared promptly and bill handed over…interesting given we’d also ordered mains but we waited. And waited. And waited. By this time the bar was busy, there were 2 guys behind the bar who were caught up serving - any previous table service had gone and needless to say our mains never arrived. On going to the bar and asking about our food we were told they were busy. No apology was made and no offer to get what we’d ordered. 🤬 The whole place was dark and felt very outdated and grubby - in previous years I’d always made a point of going to different Hard Rock Cafes when travelling, but this place reminded me of how long ago those days were and felt like it had had its day. This, combined with the very poor experience around the main courses will see me never step foot in a HRC again.

Hard rock cafe’ dinner

By Dave pastry chef |

We did an amazing dinner it’s two awesome hamburgers, the waiter was really kind and the food was stunning… He suggested us so many places to visit in Hollywood A delightful dinner

Consistent with the rest of the chain

By CareyMartin |

HRC is world-famous for its memorabilia and well-known for its consistent food quality. Both were well up to standard here, and the wait staff was very attentive as well.

On Hollywood Blvd

By Tinytimtown |

We visited here during a film premiere day so it was busy. But we had pre-booked that morning. We enjoyed the food and the John wick experience. The local specials were nice. Server was helpful. There is a lift for wheelchair accessible access although there were a few obstacles to getting to the elevator.

Hard Rock

Hard Rock is Hard Rock wherever it is - great food, great experience - the staff were very friendly and very accommodating also giving tips for the area

Round trip West USA with friends

We’ve done the walk of fame and wanted to do a tour.As we had some time we went in for a drink. We think it is very expensive,to much money for the drinks.

Our review

By ladybanker55 |

My daughter and I came here for dinner after sightseeing in the neighbourhood,, we were shown straight to our table and our ordered drinks were quickly brought. I had rib eye steak , absolutely mouth watering but not keen on the mountain of broccoli on my plate much prefer green beans . My daughter had ribs and it was enormous, very tasty , our Mark was very friendly and efficient , we have never had a bad experience at The Hard Rock Cafe anywhere in the world and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Hard as Rock

By DWest798 |

The service and food was good. However, we received our main prior to our starter so this got sent back, when brought back to us it was rather cold… however we proceeded to it and it wasn’t too bad. The starter was Bruschetta and although slightly over cooked it tasted good. The waiter was really polite and took time out for a conversation which is always nice

A must in your visit to the Hollywood Blvd.

By Cesar Z |

A great place to visit while in Hollywood, Super friendly staff.... Great place for food, beer and good music!

Rude bar staff & cold food!

By Klins Ganger |

We were told it would be 30 minutes wait for a table for two. We sat at the bar while we waited, ordered drinks and asked if we could open a tab. The female member of bar staff was rude and said 'no we couldn't open a tab, it's simple - pay her for our drinks and then pay another server later for our meal!' This response was unnecessary and unacceptable! We paid for our drinks, sat there rather embarrassed and waited for our table. The server we had at the table was pleasant. It was a very long wait for our food, almost an hour. It was not busy in the restaurant and was less than half full. When our food finally arrived, my wife's food was pretty cold but our server did get this replaced. No apology though! This whole experience was a let down and compared to a lot of other Hard Rock cafe's that we have visited around the world, this was by far the worst! We will not be returning!

Ok Experience

By JKJ0810 |

The server was very nice. There was a mix up with my food which caused a delay. The bathroom needed major attention so I notified a manager. Not sure if anything was done. Probably won’t go back to that location.

A bit soulless in comparison to other Hard Rocks

By charlie1107 |

After a full on day at Universal Studios, finishing with dinner at the Hard Rock seemed the perfect way to round the day off with energy, great staff, good food and all those nice touches you expect from a Hard Rock. For the most part it delivered, the food was really good, the staff were amazing, really attentive, friendly to both adults and kids and made sure you felt looked after. Whether it’s the layout in general or that the upper floor was out of bounds due to a private function, but something just seems to be missing. The buzz you expect from a Hard Rock just wasn’t there which was a shame as this was a first taste for our kids and we had built it up as something really special. We all enjoyed the experience but the kids were a bit underwhelmed and we felt disappointed that they didn’t get the full on Hard Rock experience we remember. To be fair, we do have to face up to the fact that it might just be old age skewing memories, but I’d doesn’t feel that way! Still recommend for dinner on the way out of Universal Studios but just don’t expect the same experience as New York or London.

Inspirational starting Point for Tour,

Good Food, Good Cocktails, Fun Environment to start a Tour of the Stars. Excellent place for inspiration. Servers were wonderful. Highly recommend before or after the tours. Will Be Back

Proven Standards

By BTS1972 |

When you come to a hard rock cafe, you should know what to expect. Here in LA, you get exactly what the brand stands for. The known interior and food quality. As the burgers and wings are quite decent, I go here when not knowing where to go. As always, I got what I expected. So all is fine, no complaints😊

A lovely family meal.

By amy710 |

We had a lovely family meal here. Our waitress was very attentive and ensured our girl had what she wanted to eat. We also got a cool family Picture on stage. It’s Hollywood but I thought it was very reasonably priced. $100 for a meal for 4. My only suggestion we’re the kids chicken breast meal with vegetables was very poor. The chicken was tiny and the potatoes had something in them and there were no vegetables if you had chips or potatoes. This was poor.

Excellent

By Chris K |

This place was awesome, the food was excellent, the service was great, the atmosphere was great and the overall ambiance was great. Well done

Hard Rock is Hard Rock

By Frank Masters |

Had meals at Hard Rock many times in different cities. Stopped in to get my daughter a shot glass. The place is full of the usual gift items as well as guitars on the walls etc.

Great Service

By Fawn H |

We went into the Hard Rock to eat after a lot of.walking in the morning. All of the staff were extremely pleasant ans our waitress was amazing! She went out of her way to ensure that everything about our visit was perfect. I expected to have an extremely large bill for the three of us, however we all ate for less than anywhere else we had gone during our vacation, not to mention one of the best meals we had on vacation. I would come back to Hard Rock if I was back on the Walk of Fame and wouldn't give it a second thought... 10/10 for value 10/10 for tast of the food 10/10 for customer service

Good dinner with great decor!

By DDR1234 |

Very nice platter to share: baguettes with toppings, calamari, chicken wings, spring rolls cut in half.sausages. Great decor! Good service!

Hard Rocking In Hollywood

By Jim T |

We make it a point to visit a Hard Rock if there is one where we travel, and this one was one of the best. It is HUGE, on two levels. There is plenty of memorabilia to see, and our bartender was friendly. It provided a nice respite from the craziness of Hollywood Blvd.

The highlight of an underwhelming visit to Hollywood Boulevard

By Pegasus928 |

I like to visit HRC wherever I am in the world, so we chose this place over numerous other restaurants in the area. Size wise it was much larger than others we have been to, but didn’t appear overly noisy or chaotic. The big stage in the corner indicated that they have bans on regularly, but not when we were there. The menu was pretty standard, and the food was hot, fresh and tasty. In all it was a good visit, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Make reservations

By Antonietta1085 |

This hard rock was a decent size. Make reservations or else they won't let you in. Decent rock shop. Our food came out before our drinks. We were lucky when we went they were preforming a show. Food is always good. The waiter was kind and atmosphere was good.

Awesome place to take in good food and music

Bar and restaurant review

By CottamTravels |

Visited a couple of times while in town both sat at the bar for drinks and sat in the restaurant for food. The service has been really good on all occasions and the food, whilst the standard menu, was still good - you can see it being made through the kitchen too. Restaurant seemed pretty empty when we visited at 730pm which seemed a bit odd / unusual so could have had a slightly better atmosphere but perhaps it was just the day. Only down side was on one of the occasions at the (mainly empty) bar a guy on his own who seemed the worse for ware (not sure if just drunk or one of the people off the street) chose to sit right next to us drinking a pint of water and looking over a lot which was quite unsettling - would’ve been good for the bar staff to notice this and perhaps check in / the door staff to perhaps pay a bit more attention to who is coming in but otherwise good .

Treated like a rock star

Had wonderful service, Elvis rocked it! He made us laugh and was attentive to our every need. Everyone there made sure to be so kind and courteous. Food was great too!!!

Excellent !

The service was great and food cooked to perfection! Location or the restaurant is very convenient in the middle of town.

Great Food, Terrible Service

By vannajones2107 |

While waiting to tour the Museum of Illusions, my husband and I went to get some food. This place was absolutely packed (on a Thursday). The wait for a table was almost an hour, and we had to physically go find staff members to give us menus and again to take our order and again to give us our check (and they also took so long to give us a military discount that we were late for our museum tour, so I skipped a discount that could’ve been very helpful to my family). The waitresses were not very personable either. HOWEVER, the food that we ordered was very tasty! We loved everything we got! They had the best chicken fingers I have ever had! I would still go back to HardRock Cafe, just probably NOT at this location.

Great experience and food better than expected (eventually)

By Jon M |

Always enjoy Hard Rock Cafe and this is one of the best with really good food and great atmosphere ...our food took a little long to arrive and then meat wasn’t quite warm so needed re-heating - they replaced in full and manager apologised and personally came to check and take 25% off the food bill - couldn’t criticise service given they were exceptionally busy.

Fab food

By SugarbabeKent |

Hard Rock Cafe is well known and never disappoints and this visit matched expectations with great friendly staff

Poor meal the second visit

By GOgirl |

The first visit we had a really good meal and service so we returned a few days later. The second time the service was poor (although they weren’t busy) and we were seated next to the live music so we couldn’t talk as it was so loud. Both the meals were poor and my daughter suffered a bad stomach for the following 2 days

Rock and roll

By jerry k |

Want to see the guitar Led Zeppelin used or Eric Clapton’s guitar? How about one of the best collections of rock and roll memorabilia around. Dine on typical Hip food...hamburgers are generous and juicy, French fries are fresh and plentiful...sodas, shakes or an ice cold beer is there.. a fun place for young and old

Loud but very friendly

By Gem5517 |

Enjoyed our visit here,Being out of high season (S.ept) no queues & not too busy, Our server was attentive & friendly and the food was tasty. Music quite loud to talk over but perhaps that's just me getting older! Enjoyed looking at all the memorabilia. You get what you expect here

Cena en Hard Rock café Los Ángeles

By Voyage172327 |

We had dinner and it was fine, dinner was fine, good taste and presentation well, the waiters very friendly and all the time very helpful, tips are minimum 15 dollars that add to the bill. Otherwise it's all good

Made my evening twise in a row

By Valur K |

I come from europe and my experience with food is usually good but service can be so-and-so. The other night i went with my daughter to HRC Hollywood and while the food and drinks were great there was a slip up in the service. That can happen anywhere so I was very pleasantly surprised how well the staff handled it. Even the head of service and the general manager came down to make sure I would leave happy. They did such an amazing job I even went the following evening for dinner and thanked them personally for being the best. Five stars!

Great food! Cool Memorabilia!

By Joannie C |

We had an awesome late lunch here. Only in LA for a day so we had to make it quick. We were seated quickly and had time to walk about and look at the memorabilia. I had the Southwest Chicken Bowl (salad). My husband had the Buffalo flavored wings which were a bit spicy but delicious anyway. We usually order our wings medium, but I think theirs are all one heat. Great rest stop on Hollywood Boulevard!

Never coming here again

By Ashley P |

I made a reservation here for my birthday and drove 2 hours to be here and once I get here I call because we were gonna be five minutes late and they tell me that there closed? I even called when I made the reservation all I wanted for my birthday to come here never coming here ever again.

Reserved seats but had to wait long time

By Timme O |

We reserved seats in advance but still we had to wait a long time after we arrived. Hard Rock...better change to Hard Wait!

Fun at Hollywood Hard Rock Cafe

Hard Rock Cafe We Are Loving You!!!

By sabrinak136 |

Thanks Hard Rock Cafe for a wonderful visit!!!! If you are visiting the Hollywood Walk of Fame and it has become too overwhelming just step inside The Hard Rock Cafe for some comfort. We badly needed a lunch break and decided that this would be the perfect place. We were greeted by a lovely host that directed us to our seating area. Our waitress who was helping to train a new employee was exceptional(she is from New York don’t remember her name) however, I remember her superior customer service. Thanks so much!!!! Hard Rock Cafe has a television screen near our table so we were entertained with all things music while we waited for our lunch. Our food was good, reasonably priced, and the service was wonderful. We also enjoyed looking at the memorabilia found at Hard Rock. Our final visit was to the gift shop where great service was provided as well. Thanks Hard Rock for a wonderful visit and being our respite from Hollywood Blvd. We needed you after a long flight from Sydney, Australia. Hard Rock You Rock!!!!!

Well organised and quick service

By Matt Harper |

We dropped into the hard rock without a reservation and were allocated a table inside of 10 minutes. The service was quick and efficient and the food was exactly what was expected. The only reason that it didn’t get a 5 star review is because there was less atmosphere on the balcony where we were sat. It was priced reasonably too. No complaints from us!

Super atmosphere

By Donna L |

Service was excellent. Food was prompt. Server was accurate and timely. Refilled drinks quickly but didn’t hover. Food was fresh and well made. The rock memorabilia is always fun in these restaurants. Bathrooms were very clean.

Worse Hard Rock experience

By Jack Ting |

Very simple review. It took us 10 minutes to actually get a table because the talkative waiter/reception dude was too busy talking to someone who was not even the customer of hard rock. Ok fine... I accepted that, I am a patient person. When we finally got a sit, we waited for 20 mins for service, to the point I was waving and using my handphone flash to seek attention, I was simply ignore and the waiters and waitresses looked really busy moving around and not doing much (mind you this was 5pm, hardly any customers!!!!!) I have been to a lot of hard rock branches, this is the worse so far and it’s Hollywood. Some of these staffs should be retrained.

Everything is fine and staff nice

By Christian B |

I thought it was great because all the goods were nice except one woman told us to wait 15 minutes so we waited 15 minutes but she called us after 20 minutes but the food was really delicious

Good Food And Music

By HeidiWannaTravel |

Typical Hard Rock experience, enjoyed the videos and music and memorabilia while eating some delicious sandwiches. Service only OK - our server was going on break so the girl who took care of us during his break was great only to be replaced by this guy when he was off break who kept forgetting to bring us a box and took forever to bring our check. The place was not busy so I'm not sure what he was doing but another table next to us suffered the same fate. When you're being a tourist in Hollywood you don't want to be sitting inside the Hard Rock for an extra 30 minutes due to poor service.

Spot on

By Pablo B |

Booked online, service was very good and attentive and the food was hot, fresh and tasty and pricy were very reasonable.

Solid hard rock experience

By CD1984 |

Huge portions, loud music and atmosphere and cool memorabilia around. ....as you would expect for a hard rock Did have to wait for a table for 20mina then when we went through was 1/2 empty so not sure what was happening then. And not even a bar to wait at, just told to sit in foyer

friendly. top service

Great Hard Rock

By huskertravelers |

This Hard Rock Cafe does not disappoint. It is a decent-sized one with lots of fun things to see. The food is good like the other Hard Rocks we visited and the price is fair for what you get nowadays. The staff was attentive and polite.

Able to amend menu!!

By Caitlin H |

Although I’m not a fan of Hollywood or the location of this hard rock (I find Hollywood full of homeless and mentally ill, with an overwhelming smell.) I LOVE this hard rock. Our server was super helpful, I ordered the cheese and tomato flatbread, without cheese, which I’ll admit is a weird request but I’m a veggie that doesn’t like cheese, so menu options are super limited!! This was absolutely no problem for the kitchen, I ordered a side of fries and it all came at the same time which is a rare occasion! Refillable drinks were flowing and the atmosphere was great, especially for a weekday evening. If you’re in Hollywood this is a must!

Good Spot to Chill

By RayICue |

A quick stop for me to get a drink and appetizer. Considering the surrounding restaurants, this looked very good . The staff was friendly and helpful. The food fair. But super location to people watch. You will see some strange characters!

Lots of FUN

By finstah |

Participated in an event with various musicians. Cool, comfortable place, providing for a fun event. House drum kit fair. T-Shirts expensive in the large gift shop but good variety of MERCH. Lighting was cool. Large stage! Clean bathroom. Didn’t try the food but I liked the ginger ale. :)

Great Chicken Fajitas

By Missy R |

Although the service was a little slow the food was delicious! The atmosphere was also nice. If we return would eat here again!

First time disappointment of Hard Rock restaurant.

By Expedition749020 |

I feel this must have been a one off occurrence in receiving terrible service. I have travelled to endless Hard Rock restaurants throughout the states and abroad with not once feeling like it was probably better off walking out and finding a hole in the wall. Just to get a drink. Being a California native and hosting family from out of the country. What better place than in Hollywood HR, to at least have drink and some appetizers on a hot exhausting day. Quite the opposite. Hostess. A gem as expected. Unfortunately that’s as good as our experience was. Took at least 10-15 to get acknowledged. The whole point was that my entire party was dying of thirst. I completely understand there might have been a staffing issue. Which that really falls on management, so I’m not completely blaming the waitress. But at least bring ppl water! After finally flagging down our waitress. All we wanted was a round of drinks. I don’t believe it was loud enough in there to misunderstand that we were all just thirsty. Not from Toronto, Turkey and any other place we were asked where my family was visiting from. Not having the draft beer dispenser working was another let down. But what really made the experience sour was being told that it would be understandable if we wanted to leave. Because the waitress was the only there?! Really?! My relatives that were visiting, happen to be on a California coast road trip reviewing places that they can recommend their customers as they are travel agents in another country . How exactly are they supposed to recommend places, when they literally felt un welcomed.

What a shame about the service

By tinytash |

We went to the Hard Rock as we know the food and service is usually good- we have been to many of them across the world. We had a drink whilst we waited for the table and when we were served the food took over an hour to come. One meal cam 15mins later than the others, a salad was forgotten and the waiter was quite rude about refilling the drinks. There was live music but it was very loud and it always the best standard. We had no reduction in the bill to apologise for the poor service and the tip was not reduced either, I do not believe 18.5% was deserved on this occasion but not being American you feel like you can’t say anything. If the team were honest they probably shouldn’t have added that size of tip or taken off the meal that was so late.

Every holiday the Hard Rock

By Linniepinnie666 |

We collect pins and always have a t-shirt for the collection. Super nice store, didn't eat anything, just came for the store. Staff super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back again this holiday.

Fabulous staff. Atmosphere average.

By G M |

First Hard Rock visit. Not amazing. I’m just not sure what the hype is all about. The staff were excellent, that seems pretty standard in the USA. The menu looked good. Music a bit loud, memorabilia a bit desperate in terms of random choices- guess the franchise has to spread their valuable stuff across a lot of restaurants. Not much conversation between us as the table side TV was rather distracting. I assume that’s what people come to Hard Rock for!?! Anyway, food ok but nothing amazing. Overpriced for what it is...again, I assume we are paying more for ambiance. Cannot day I would go to another Hard Rock, definitely not this one.

Terrible attendance

By VanessaDeleu |

We stayed at the bar and the waiter pretended not to see us, ironically speaking to us saying that the bar was full. I usually go to Hard Rock around the world and this really was the worst disappointment, waiting times and times, disrespect and bad manners. The waiter was white and had black hair, he didn't introduce himself. 15:18hs.

Lunch time

By Kelly D |

The service and food were excellent! Social distancing was very well followed. The staff was very friendly making us feel welcome. I highly recommend Hard Rock Cafe for dining.

Great customer service by great staff

By Dave Johal |

We visited the Hard Rick cafe on two occasions and whilst the food was great on both occasions the thing we took away most was how all the staff from reception to the bar and hostesses were the difference!

Lovely meal and location in LA. Staff very attentive and efficient especially Chelsea, she looked after us very well. She took photos for us and had a nice smile

Traditional Hard Rock

By Fernando Ponce Leon |

Although it has a trashy localization, it's a normal Hard Rock, with good food and good attending. Nice place to grab a bite.

Awful - Not recommended

By 276satex123 |

Visited in November 25. Absolutely awful menu is very expensive before even adding 20% service charge and Tax. Ordered drinks beer came flat, changed for another awful tasting beer, it appears they do not clean pipes. Ordered seasoned fries, no idea what they were seasoned in, but just tasted of 4 month old frying oil. On a positive the service was good and helpful I have visited lots of Hard Rock Restaurants, in lots of countries, this is worse by a long way. Step outside to be hassled by street sellers and tramps stumbling around

Appetiser and drinks.

Great food and drinks. The bar staff were so friendly and helpful on the cocktails we had. The nachos were that good we took the rest back to the hotel and still had them later and they tasted fine.

I’m a fan of HRC just not this location. They have limited vegetarian options and the service is very slow.

Great service!

By Martijn G |

HR Cafe Hollywood was on our list from the day we started planning our trip to Los Angeles. Our welcome around 7:30pm however was not the great HR experience as usually, the restaurant was not as busy anymore so we asked if we could seat one table further away to avoid being next to the walking route through the restaurant. This turned out to be quit difficult as servers are assigned a specific area (one table further...) however eventually it was possible. Luckily our server (Oliver) was the best server ever! He was such a great guy and made our visit to this restaurant one of the best HR experiences. He gave us a lot of advise and information regarding the menu and their artist collection in the restaurant. The manager was also very friendly and they both made us feel very welcome. We will definitely visit this great restaurant (and shop) again one our next LA trip!

Don’t expect to get drunk!!

By CJOlive |

The service is always great at Hard Rock and you always know what’s on the menu. We had the twisted Mac and cheese, without the chicken (veggie) and the OG legendary burger. Both were excellent with a more generous portion of fries than you’ll get outside of the US!! Cocktails are a must at Hard Rock! We had a Hurricane and a Bahama mama. These were okay but distinctively less alcoholic than they usually are, hence the star less. It’s over three floors too so loads of memorabilia to see!

Terrible experience

By iholender |

We were a party of 7, on July 1st, 10pm, from 12-81y. Restaurant was empty and we saw lots of staff. Even so, we waited more than 50 minutes for our food. I had to ask several times to the waitress, and nothing. When the food finally started to come, my niece’s Mac and cheese was COLD. She couldn’t eat, so we asked to warm it up, which took more 10 minutes. The orders came in such different times for each one, that we couldn’t actually eat together. I ask the person in charge what’s was going on since the restaurant was empty and the service horrible. He just said nothing was going on. And at the moment the last order arrived, the waitress brought the check and told us: “we’re closing but you can take your time “. Don’t waste your time or money in this horrible place.

shocking and contemptuous welcome

By moiChezMoi |

We are used to visiting Hard rock cafés during our holidays and always buy souvenir clothes. During the summer of 2024, we enjoyed restaurants in Niagara Falls, Las vegas, San Francisco and Honolulu. Yet we faced a particularly deplorable reception in Hollywood. We showed up around 6pm to have a drink before dinner. The restaurant room was almost empty. Yet we were directed to the bar to drink? There were 4 of us with our 2 children. The bar, also empty, had only high tables of 2. The bartender, as unpleasant as his colleagues at the reception, refused us the opportunity to bring together 2 tables to be with the family (the bar was empty!). Our children had only to take another table for him.... What an idea... We therefore understood that we were not welcome. We left upset, without even taking the time to stop at the shop. Although I took some time to digest and recount this episode, we are bruised by this contempt. We will never set foot in an HR cafe restaurant again

Classic HARD ROCK

By Mattew007 |

He's in! For a classic HARD ROCK, good sandwiches and friendly staff. To eat like this in a post-walk evening there is! A tip RAISE THE TEMPERATURE of the room is freezing!

Legendary burger delicious but service lacks professionalism

By LeslieP69 |

My legendary Hard Rock hamburger was delicious but service wasn’ t too professional. For example, they didn’t bring new wine glasses when we ordered new bottles of wine.

Fun vibe and delicious food

By Ellie T |

Absolutely exceptional! We’re from Australia and we loved the vibe! Our server was amazing and the food was terrific. 10/10 would go again!

Don’t fall into this tourist trap. Who is rating this place so high?

By bobdazler |

Poor food and high prices. No flavour. Just relying on its name and location. Service was fine but that is not good enough when food is so bad. Getting basics wrong.

As a fan of Hard Rock Cafes - a must

By Tane&Vahine |

Like everywhere else in the world we travel, we of course visited the Hard Rock Cafe on our trip to Los Angeles. The atmosphere was as usual, the food and drinks were of the usual Hard Rock quality. The staff were friendly, the service was courteous and on the ball. We visited twice. It is a lot bigger than in Rome or Honolulu, for example. A reservation is still an advantage. We love the Hard Rock Cafes and were not disappointed here either.

Hard Rock in Hollywood - wow :)

By I’ve been there |

Superb service from Sean and Alex! Could not ask for more. They really made a huge effort and added to the already fantastic hard rock experience we have enjoyed all over the world. We would love to revisit on gig night when I can image the place to be banging ! The burger was the best we have ever had at any hard rock, perfectly cooked (medium) and incredibly tasty. Even offered a complimentary desert but had to turn it down because we were too full 😕

Best place to eat on hollywood boulevard

By Fedor Razumov |

I really liked the ambience inside the venue and the stage. When I arrived for a reservation at the restaurant, some performances were being prepared and the waiter offered us a table with a great view of the stage. The food was brought very quickly and it was very tasty. I recommend trying their famous cheeseburger!

VEGAS - Hard Rock Cafe

By flcarter4 |

Excellent service and food, great gift shop also, prime location , fun atmosphere and friendly staff up for a chat.

Very disappointing and unfriendly staff

By Natalia V |

I didn’t feel welcome in this place, although their slogan is Love all serve all. I booked a table online together with tasting menu. Nobody knew, what was that and just cancelled without telling me. They put me by the bar, I asked to change, they told, they I have to pay for my cocktail before somewhere. Very unfriendly staff. It was the worst HRC out of 20 I visited all over the world. The only adequate person there was the manager. He tried to accommodate me and paid for my cocktail. Food was ok, but chicken wings were not at their best.

Great atmosphere and delicious food in Hollywood!

By Melissa B |

Visiting from East Coast, we’d spent the day nearby at Warner Bros Studio and had to get in a visit to Hard Rock! We were sat right away and the waitress was over in a few to take our drink orders. Attentive and super nice, we chatted a bit about being from out of town. Food was delicious, music was great, waitress was awesome, and we snagged some great merchandise afterwards (as we always do when we hit up a Hard Rock). They even gave our kid a cute Messi soft soccer ball toy. Nice dinner out in a cool town!

A restaurant and an attraction

By Anthony T |

We had a great experience here during our visit to LA. We were told it was an hour wait (and we expected this), though they overdelivered and got us seated in about a half hour. While we waited for our food, we were encouraged to look around at the various and interesting rock memorabilia displayed. My wife and I each had a three-course meal, her the salmon, and me the NY Strip (with mushrooms and a seasoned sauce) and both were fantastic. They did have to move us to another table for operational reasons, but they were nice and appreciative about it.

Bad experience. Donˋt go there

By Putput1 |

I didn't have a good experience and can't recommend it. I wanted to have dinner during happy hour between 3 and 6 every day. Unfortunately there was no happy hour on Sunday. On the internet it says happy hours every day from 3-6. The waiter was completely uninterested and couldn't make me any offer. You'll never go there again.

Fun restaurant to go to and enjoy the atmosphere of Hollywood Blvd, the Chinese theater and an easy walk to the Hollywood Bowl

Average Hard Rock Location

By Karim Maarouf |

This is an ok hard rock location. Food was pretty good, servers were also very friendly. The overall environment was ok. Maybe it's because the place was rather empty at the time of our visit, but I've been in more interesting and exciting hard rock locations. Still recommended though.

Fantastic atmosphere cocktails & food

Having eaten at other hard rock cafes before I was looking forward to my visit to the hard rock on citywalk universal we arrived about 7 45 pm and were seated at once the food was of good value and plentyful and the service was also very good the instruments and music history around the room was very interesting would recomend this restaurant

Great Hard Rock Cafe, good food and friendly staff.

By Lauren |

Always try to visit a Hard Rock Cafe if I am in an area with one available, and this one didn’t disappoint! Great food and quick service. We both had the chicken fajitas and an onion ring tower, which were very good! Our server was helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Try Hard Rock in LA

Friendly staff, nice ambience, good food, reasonable prices. Fun location. Lots going on in the evening on the boulevard.

Fantastic restaurant with live music

By Annezin |

Awesome waiters, great decoration, fair wait times, live music, and awesome food! I was in Hollywood for 4 days and ate at this restaurant 3 times. It was an awesome experience each time and this is by far my favorite restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard!

Decent food, so so service

By Covgirl36 |

I visited this restaurant at lunch time while in town with my sister. Previous visits to other Hard Rock Cafe’s around the world have been a bit hit and miss but my sister has never been so we popped in. Firstly it was really cold inside and as there were only a few people in a large space, we were freezing. Our server arrived promptly and took our order which was just a soft drink with a burger and fries. The food arrived fairly quickly, and apart from from my burger being just warm. (edible) it was really tasty. Our server (didn’t get his name) honestly appeared unhappy, while its hard to tell while someone is wearing a face mask, his overall demeanour was not great. I thought it was just me but my sister (unprompted by me), also commented that he was less than friendly, uninterested and had a bit of an attitude. I could have scored this lower given my review above, however the food was tasty and the lady who served us in the gift shop was great and left a really good last impression.

Did the job. But could have been better.

By rickpoet |

For overall atmosphere, if you're seated in the main part of the restaurant, I'd give it a 4 (we came before a show without a reservation and found seats at the bar which was a little sticky and not as friendly. (Little bit of a bummer as they wouldn't seat us at a table because we didn't have a reservation, but the entire time we dined at the bar there were plenty of open tables in the main room...) The food was okay. We had impossible burgers...one lettuce-wrapped for my gluten-free soul-mate...the other on a regular old bun. We're thrilled that hearty vegetarian options like this exist and appreciate that HRC had it for us. She also had a chocolate shake which was a bit soupier than it should have been. I thought it was cool that they had smaller versions of cocktails on what was called a "shooters" menu so you could try one or two without committing to an entire drink. I had the Lemon Drop Shooter, which was, again, okay...a bit too sickly sweet for my tastes. Overall I got the feeling that this was a restaurant for tourists wanting an experience, as opposed to an upscale dining experience. I wouldn't rush back.

even locals love it here

By Agnes F |

I actually love Hard Rock. The location right on Hollywood Blvd is iconic, and all the memorabilia around the restaurant makes it worth checking out. Service was friendly and fast even though it was busy. Food was solid, portions were generous, and it felt like the classic experience you expect. It is definitely touristy but still fun, and as a local I would still recommend stopping in if you are in the area and want to soak up the Hollywood vibe.

Great food and excellent service

By Marilyn W |

We ate at this location twice this week on our vacation ! The food was delicious and the menu has something for everyone. We had the pleasure of meeting Christian, Nandi, Theo and Sam. They were all very helpful and provided top notch customer service.

Never a disappointment

By charlottehazelwood |

Consistent throughout the world, Hard Rock always nails their meals. Though our service was a little slow on the uptake at times, our servers were still friendly and polite. The atmosphere is spot on but be prepared to talk slightly louder than normal. It gets a bit loud in there. But 10/10 for the food. Perfectly cooked, an excellent range of food and drinks and their always made well! Just delicious.

All Good!

By TravelinAlan |

Good food. Good service (thank you Anna). Good live music=Decadent Decades. +Amy, Operations Manager, was especially kind and helpful.

Always nice

By Luis Felipe G |

It's Hard Rock Cafe, you know what you're getting when eating there. Always nice, always good. I will come back.

Landmark Visit

By Mike B |

Legendary venue didn’t disappoint although aircon made it feel cold (maybe it was just where we were sitting?). Table server was attentive and polite, but not overly enthusiastic which can be off putting in this type of venue!

Better than expected

By JS94 |

Our teenagers are not into rock so they weren’t interested in the paraphernalia and we usually like to try out new places. But it was a very convenient location and at least you know what you are getting with a Hard Rock Cafe. That said, we did enjoy our meals better than expected. And we were seated immediately, which I was surprised about considering the number of tourists. We had the salmon over cold noodles, the bacon burger, grilled salmon and the barbecue chicken bites.

Not as good as other Hard Rock Cafes

By rainbow1poole |

Such a shame . We have eaten at other Hard Rock Cafes around the world but this one was not as good. The vegetables were not cooked and our steaks were both cooked the same (we asked for different levels ) . Won't be returning 😢. Staff were lovely and helpful and I felt bad for them with people complaining

Great Lunch at Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood California

By carmen l |

My teen loves eating at Hard Rock Café and was disappointed when we couldn’t book a reservation online. Since it was across the street, we walked in to see if we could be waitlisted. Fortunately, we were able to get a reservation with a 40 minute wait. We had no problem with that because our teen wanted to take pics of the Chinese Theater. We were seated in 15 minutes and took the last wait list spot. Everyone else that came in after were denied seating. Remember to reserve. Food classic wings; New York strip; twisted Mac & chz; bbq sandwich and hot fudge brownie. We all enjoyed our dishes except the sandwich. Teen loved the Yukon mash. The dessert was devine and huge. Forgot to mention it has an open kitchen which I always find cool.

Hard Rock Café 😍

By anapiaui |

For a true rock fan, the Hard Rock Café is an excellent place for a happy hour with friends and the atmosphere itself is magical, with a fantastic decor of guitars, as well as the souvenir shop, which is breathtaking. I bought a guitar brooch, a symbol of the place, my favorite. I went to visit the Hard Rock Café in Los Angeles in April 1994 with friends and family. Without a doubt, I would go back again. I intend to visit the Hard Rock Café in Gramado.

Best part of LA!

By dextermon69 |

My mum, sister and I had dinner here on our last night in LA just over a week ago and were served by Victor and Brent. Both were some of the friendliest and kindest people we'd ever met and we enjoyed talking to them throughout the evening. The food was great and the restaurant full of great things.y At the end of the night they gave my sister and I a free dessert. Our trip was probably the nicest experience I've had in any restaurant and they truly made our visit the best. If either of them read this, we made it to Mexico and it was amazing!!!! Thank you so much.

Great for a bite to eat in Hollywood

By Dan |

Great place for a bite to eat in Hollywood. It seemed to be bigger than other Hard Rock Cafés that I’ve been to, with a large main floor, making it very noisy. Additionally, we had to wait for 30mins for a table, but when seated, noticed that lots of tables were empty - the process of getting people into the restaurant needs to be improved. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again if in Hollywood.

Good choice for basic good food and fun environment.

By Bentheredunthat |

I lived down the street, passed by this place for years, often dropped in other Hard Rocks on my world travels but never came here. Decided to go here with a picky family member because I suspected we could get a good basic cheeseburger... and we did. The burgers were good, the fries were good, the staff was friendly and we walked around looking at the memorabilia and even got on stage to take some pictures and I posed with Jim Morrison's leathers. Looking very much like tourists, asked "where are you from" and we all had a good laugh when we said "Down the street". If you familiar with Hard Rocks, like the food, can afford the cost, then you wont be disappointed here.

Mixed experiences

By TrailBlazer82563 |

Went for dinner on 2 different nights. The first night the bar staff were rude and not attentive and we waited for a while to even get a menu. The 2nd time totally different and the bar staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was tasty and good size so worth a visit.

Had reservation for eight no took about twenty min for drinks even though it appeared like a pretty slow night. Our waitress was nice but the food was terrible. Drink had no alcohol in it , def not the hard rock I remember prob won’t ever be back . Still has all the cool memorabilia and gift shop in front of restaurant

Amazing service

By biddy |

Amazing service and food was fantastic Vanessa and the staff went above and beyond to help us do a surprise visit to my daughter

Overpriced with poor service

By Dajubrzojoma |

Food was tasty, but very expensive. Waitress (Sammy) was quite abrupt. Food was tasty. There were no servers around to get our bill so we had to wait. Took ages. We have now been to a Hard Rock Cafe and we won’t go back.

Nice experience

By Cristy P |

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood. It's worth what you pay. Near the Dolby Theater.

Mediocre food

By lmcarter77 |

We are a family of 6 and decided to stop in to eat for the atmosphere. The food was room temperature when it arrived and the fries tasted as if they had sat there awhile before being delivered to our table. The Messi chicken sandwich had a good flavor. We ordered a steak salad to go and the steak was dry and tough to chew. My husband ordered a beer right when our appetizer was delivered. We finished the appetizer, our meals, and were waiting for the bill before the beer arrived. The server was apologetic and removed the beer from our bill. We wouldn’t eat there again nor would I recommend it unless you found yourself in the area and famished.

Gladly again

By Qoolio |

A really great restaurant! It was my first time in a Hard Rock Café restaurant and I will go again. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly (at least until it came to paying...). Then you had the feeling that the friendliness had been turned off. The prices were also OK and a reservation was not necessary. (Day of visit: Monday)

A Must Try Restaurant in Hollywood

By colombiajan |

We like to eat at a Hard Rock when we are traveling. We had never been to L.A. so we went to the Hard Rock there. We loved it. We got burgers, onion rings and fries and a Hurricane drink so we could keep the glass. We really enjoyed everything, especially the atmosphere. I do recommend reservations since it was very busy. We also loved the gift shop.

It's Hard Rock Cafe ... but in Hollywood.

By Sandy L |

Not much more to say - if you've been to a Hard Rock before then you know what you're going to get. Coming from NZ, I'd suggest you think hard before ordering appetizers AND entrees. We were two adults and three teenage girls - the girls and one adult (female) ordered an appetizer each and shared - the other adult (me - male) ordered a half of the ribs - more than enough for us all.

Wish it was hard rock music that would play in this restaurant/shop.

By Emmanuelle |

The decors are really pretty but the music that plays is mostly generic pop music of nowadays that irritate my ears. The food is really bad not going to lie. The whole place is to catch tourists. I believe this place could’ve been much better with real hard rock music, even if the food is that great.

nice atmosphere

By 114d2018 |

After walking the walk of fame and wax museum,my daughter and i went to the hard rock for dinner. The staff was nice and the food was good. I liked the atmosphere in this hard rock compared to the Universal city hard rock. I would recommend this hard rock cafe.

Great management

By Mich Creber |

We came in with a party of 9 who were all old friends that were excited to talk/catch up over dinner. After learning that there would be a very loud (but good) live rock band starting a set in the main area of the restaurant at 8pm, we were a bit disappointed. However, after being made aware of the situation, a manager was quick to accommodate us with a table in a quiet back room so that our conversations would not be overpowered by the music! We had a great evening with great service all around.

Hard Rock, only the food was dry and hard.

By Mary Jo M |

Awful service, dirty martini was not dirty only the glass and all of the olive juice was by over half the drink. Just awful.

Hollywood Hard Rock Cafe is amazing.

By Jason205 |

Absolutely perfect. I highly recommend you stop by the Hard Rock to eat, see the awesome memorabilia, hear the music, buy a few souvenirs. Thank you to Melissa for being great, friendly, helpful. You are definitely an asset to the HRC. I enjoyed talking to her about the memorabilia. Thank you also for great directions to the Hollywood sign! Everyone go eat at the HRC in Hollywood, California.

Nice but overrated

By Sarah G |

The food was ok but nothing to rave about. The staff were really nice and helpful. The meal was over priced I think but you do get large serves. Definitely could share meals if you wanted to save money. The atmosphere was definitely the best part of the experience. I liked seeing the memorabilia on walls

Nice to rest up escaping the crowds on the Walk of Fame

By Dorset F |

I travel for work globally and if there is a HRC nearby, I visit, collect the hats, magnets and glasses. So had to get this one in whilst working in the LA area. Popped in late afternoon for a couple of drinks, Service was swift and the bartenders were friendly. The shop is quite large and I was able to purchase my usual items. Very well located near the Dolby theatre

Expensive for what you get

By CWD360 |

Food is fine, but always feel that this restaurant chain is more expensive than it should be. Service was good. Clean environment and wasn’t crowded.

Great Food

By Andrew M |

Food and service was amazing. Would recommend the burgers. Great location, always fun to eat at Hard Rock. Free re fills are great

Standards appear to have fallen. Main course brought out half way through starter and over cooked.

By Strathaven88 |

We were really looking forward to eating at the hard rock cafe in Hollywood as previously has been of good standard at other.hard rock cafes. On this occasion the main meal meal was brought out half way through the starter. The food was over cooked and looked like it had been thrown onto the plate, especially the veggie burger. Waitress was nice but clearly struggling in other areas and we won't be back.

Bad food smells and tastes like gas on beef, bad tastes and vomit.

By Massimo |

Ordered a fajitas with combo duo chicken meat and frayed park foal, they brought me instead poorly boiled chicken tasteless and beef burned with gas from the stove that smelled like gas on the meat and tasted like methane gas on the beef that was certainly not pore foal as advertised on the menu. Highly discouraged! Stomach pain immediately after eating and vomiting everything immediately after. The floor is shaking all the time because of the Metro underneath, this is very annoying. Don't go there! All they have now is a faded brand! They live on brand fame but they really suck.

No place for vegetarians !

By foodreport2017 |

Well, after several other bad tries, the Hard Rock has dumped the vegeburger and replaced it with the disgusting Impossible burger. Impossible to eat - if you're vegetarian that is. These awful burgers are GMO to tast like meat. No vegetarian wants that - a common misconception for insensitive meat chefs. That just leave a lot of fat fried meat dishes. What a disappointment. Used to always get a good Vegeburger anywhere in the world except Tokyo where they have absolutely nothing vegetarian except beer.

Friendly and helpful staff. Large portions

By SJS |

Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our meals even though they were huge portions.

Great food, great service, great location. The kids loved the sweets the most of course. The mains where awesome as well

Hard Rock Cafe Is A Staple

By EMFredric |

The Hard Rock Cafes have been around for a long time and this is my least favorite of them. I prefer the one in Universal City at Citywalk. But my friends and I were out in Hollywood and wanted to do Hollywood things that most locals forget to do. It was overcrowded, noisy and the food was just this side of so-so. Maybe the regular chef was off? Service was slow but it's kids running the show. When you're at a place that has stature you have to cut it some slack, everyone has a bad night - so we'd go back.

Came for milkshakes, but they were out

By Kelly M |

Great ambiance, friendly waiters, strong drinks, & good fun nonetheless. They have a stage & live band at night.

A pleasant first experience

By Lisa D |

First experience in this restaurant chain and a beautiful discovery! Burgers are generous and tasty. The team is welcoming and warm, even if the service takes a little time.

not a fan

By barbarabuilder |

not a fan of hard rock, food is greasy and the place didn't feel clean. good for kids if you can't get them to eat much else other than fries. lol

Love This Place!

By snoopmolly |

I always enjoy watching the music videos and looking at the memorabilia at any Hard Rock Cafe. Put this together with delicious food, and the experience is worth paying more than I usually do at a restaurant. I wish there were more vegetarian options, but I enjoyed my veggie fajitas emensely. My granddaughter loved her chicken wings and onion rings. Our server was not the most attentive, but other servers and the floor manager made up for this, so overall the service was very good.

Disappointing

By Curiosity563626 |

The hostess ignored us for almost 10 minutes upon arrival - said she was busy and would be with us shortly. Service was slow. Buffalo boneless wings were dark meet - they were so dark they looked like beef. The table was dirty.

Too Noisy and So So Food

By Flyer780991 |

The place is way too noisy. I actually wanted to leave before ordering but friends were hungry. There was nothing special about the place or the food. In fact I would never go back./ Waste of time and money.

Superb & excellent management

By GeorgeYorkYork |

Came here on Friday 29 th September for a table of 4 From entering to leaving nothing was too much trouble We opted for flatbread & wings for starters again all very well cooked & presented Mains 2 steaks medium rare cooked very well Salmon was beautiful Chicken burger was great Bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and sift drinks All served with a smile Brett the manager checked back on our table to check everything was ok, didn’t time to chat and be genuinely interested in what we had to say, and absolute credit to this venue Thanks again for a very enjoyable visit whilst in LA

Unusual hard rock experience

By Karina G |

Good food as usual, not out first Rodeo;) However even if the restaurant was almost empty for dinner our server was always busy! The drinks didn't arrived nefor the food , we had to ask twice for them and star eating without them. It was a little disappointing

Lunch in Hollywood Blvd!

By delfinacuario2000 |

Very nice meal at HRC at Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles. Friendly staff, nice merchandise at the shop. We went for lunch and both had burgers and there were really good. The server was super kind and respectful. Would certainly come back if ever in the area!!!

Great atmosphere I was looking to take someone on a casual date & lets just say it was a good choice not a dull moment. Can’t wait to return as soon as Covid- 19 regulations are set in place. I have a whole new batch of potentials for the occasion.

Great food and great location

By Cathy H |

We went here for lunch after making a few sight seeing stops along the walk of fame. This is a fantastic location next to the Chinese theatre, by shopping and restaurants and on the walk of fame.

Another great HRC

By Alan the Alpaca |

We went on a Sunday for dinner, reserved on the site before hand then only had to wait ten mins to be seated. Had been to many HRCs before so knew what to expect. Large place that was surprisingly not too busy which was good as could easily look at the memorabilia. Great food and service. I did think the chicken fingers were too spicy. Would recommend

Rude bar staff begging for more tips ruined my day

By Gav Windsor |

I’m a long standing hard rock customer from Bangkok to London and never ever have I see such rudeness . When I arrived at the bar I can see the server at the bar was in a Argument another couple but thought no more off it She has Such a attitude would rather talk To staff then seve a real attitude ! At the end off my meal she came over complaining about her Tip , telling me she would be remembering me ! I said to her it is up to me what I give . I’ve never been so embarrassed time not use to servers begging for money . I’ve complained to head office also . She gave no attention and Hense a low tip if u could remove it totally now I would

Below expectations

By jaynee |

Having dined in several Hard Rock Cafes we went for the safe choice on a very hot and busy part of LA. However, don’t bother - bad service from beginning to end. Cold food. Disinterested staff. Firstly, we were forgotten and left hanging around the dark, chaotic and messy lobby area for a ridiculous amount of time. When we flagged we were still waiting 25 mins after the ‘20 minute wait’ was up (yes-45 minutes in all!!!!) we were frog marched to the back of the restaurant which had so many empty tables it made a mockery of our extended wait. Our waiter was distracted and gave us the impression he was not interested in ring at work. As he walked off before we had all given our orders mains (all 3 of us!). The food was not great - I returned my cold (left sitting around) cheeseburger and cheese fries. The other 2 in my party were too hungry to wait any longer and tucked in toot sweet now reluctant to wait any longer for food. Finally, my version 2 plate came out after such a long wait- the moment had passed. Dirty plates left and unfilled refillable drink cups left empty. Eating alone isn’t the same. No wipes for BBQ ribs. (To be clear we did chase up on stuff). Absolute disappointment. Highly NOT recommended.

Super staff

Called in to buy a T-shirt only. However the girl who served me was amazing, really friendly and helpful. Had a quick look in the restraunt and it looked like a typical Hard Rock cafe.

Perfect Spot to Eat on World-Famous Hollywood Boulevard

By Sondi |

My family loves to go to movies at the Chinese Theatre (yes, THAT famous-beyond-famous Chinese Theatre), and one of our favorite spots to grab a meal (either before or after a movie) is at the Hard Rock Cafe. I honestly feel so lucky that we live in a city where people from all over the world come to see places like the Chinese Theatre, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the El Capitain, and to eat at a famous restaurant like the Hard Rock Cafe. These places are right in our backyard and I love taking advantage of their proximity. The pulled pork sandwich is yummy and HUGE, served with a side of beans, coleslaw and fries. You really need to come hungry! The steak salad is also a surprisingly filling meal - enough to serve two! I usually get it with a side of ranch dressing. LOVE the ranch dressing at Hard Rock Cafe. Why can't supermarkets sell top notch ranch dressing? I've never been able to figure that out. The service at the Hollywood Hard Rock is always friendly and efficient. The manager comes to the table to check on your meal and loves to strike up a conversation. It almost feels like a "local joint," as opposed to a big corporate entity. And who among us doesn't LOVE to watch music videos playing at your table? Whether you're 50 years old or 18 years old, the 80's are IN!!!!!! Oh, and by the way - don't pass up on the dessert. We ate a brownie sundae that was as big as my head - seriously rivals the sundaes you used to find at Farrells (minus the loud banging drum haha). Anyway, I just wanted to share my thoughts on this fun place that adds to a great night at the movies - or just a great spot when you're doing the "touristy" thing on Hollywood Boulevard - or, if you just want to hear some great music and eat some yum comfort food - just go. So many reasons to eat here...
