Greeted quickly upon entering. Had a relatively short wait. The staff weren't unpleasant, but also conveyed that they weren't enjoying their job. The only smile I saw was from a manager that stopped by the table. We ordered the Chicken Bites for an appetizer and it was alright. We both ordered the sampler platter for our entree. I didn't care for the cole slaw, but that was my personal taste. The chicken that came on the platter was extremely dried out. It was overdone to the point the the texture suffered. I had 3 bites form different areas of the chicken breast, trying to give it a chance, it was a severe disappointment.

We enjoyed our meal here. The menu isn't very large and there were not a lot of options, but the food was good and our service was great. We were able to switch to an outdoor seat because the musicians inside were very loud. Quick service and good food

Booked table which seemed a good idea as big que when we arrived. Host show us to our seat and waitress arrived. All went well, friendly and helpful when we ordered and that was it. Our waitress didn't return. Another person arrived with food and was pleasant. Only when we due dessert menu our waitress reappeared. Her attitude changed when we asked for the bill. We would have ordered more drinks if she had come back and after both myself and husband mentioned how she changed when we asked for the bill. Food ok nothing special. Paying for the name and location.

Went with my wife and daughters - 11 and 13. It was fine. Decent service. Food was fine but not special. Prices were ok. Don't go out of your way to go here but it's convenient and ok.

Great food and great staff with a real good atmosphere. Food and drinks were great and the place had a nice vibe with a relaxed environment.

Fun, casual, outdoor seating restaurant on the pier. Indoor seating is also available. The waitstaff were very attentive. So many patrons were seated at a table and then took it upon themselves to move to another table potentially affecting the servers section. Happened numerous times due to location of the sun. One couple did ask in advance of moving.

We went to Navy Pier on our recent trip to Chicago. We wandered through all of the restaurants and decided to sit at the outdoor bar at Harry Caray's. We had a delicious sample platter of ribs, pulled pork, and chicken... and lots of Hornitos shots with beer chasers! Chicago isn't the greatest place for tequila selection, but Hornitos is pretty good for a well tequila.. The biggest bonus at this bar was the bar staff - Rick, Corey, Caitlin, & Rudy!!! Thanks you guys... from the Cali couple - we had so much fun! (P.S. Rudy got the lemons for me!)

This place was recommended by a friend and we had dinner around 8.30 Service was slow and the ribs overcooked & dry..fries tastless.

While visiting the Nave Pier in Chicago, we decided to eat lunch at Harry Caray's Tavern, and it was a good choice. Harry Caray's location is great, walking distance to all of the Navy Pier, near the lake side. The restaurant itself is styled in a classic modern, with lots of memorabilia. During the hotter months they have an outdoor patio. I had the Holy Cow Burger, which was a good sized and tasty burger, with gouda cheese. We had the Poutine for an appetizer, which was good. But I think it's a combination of the food and outdor atmosphere that made Harry Caray's Tavern memorable for me. When I go back to visit the Navy Pier again with friends I would consider Harry Caray's Tavern, it's a good place to share a meal with friends before or after visiting the pier.

Stopped in for an early afternoon beer and snack and anyone looking to open a sports bar needs to stop in here and take notes. Perfect layout so that everyone in the bar can watch TV amd strain their neck looking for something to watch. Great service and a great food menu. Clean bar and something that I found to be rare: clean bathrooms. If you are at Navy Pier and need a beer on tap and a burger, why look anywhere else? Go Cubs!

Great spot before the Shakespeare Theatre. We had the chicken Vesuvio and the meatloaf. Very good service. Good beer and wine selection.

This restaurant has great food and nice outdoor seating near the water. There was a lot of cool sports memorabilia inside if you are a sports fan.

Went here while on a business trip with my boss. We were starving and there was no wait so this was the winner. She has pasta and said it was good. I had a bacon burger what was amazing. So much bacon! The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a private party that had the inside rented so we sat outside and it was a fun, lively environment. I will be dreaming about this burger for a long time

I ordered a cobb salad with pulled chicken. I could hardly eat any of it! The chicken was garbage. Definitely not pulled chicken at all. The only thing we liked was their mac and cheese.

We enjoyed our lunch at the restaurant but it was obvious. Much of the restaurant was closed off due to staff shortage (not unusual right now as we recover from pandemic) but they were really working their butts off. We stopped and thanked the manager of the servers as she was a wonderful cheerleader and complimented their hard work. Lunch was good and nice t o be at the Navy Pier.

Stopped in for lunch before catching a train. Great food, great service, and our waiter Joe's beer recommendations were spot on. I know we'll be back.

My wife and I had arrived in Chicago on Saturday May 25. It was obviously very busy at Navy Pier, because that was the first night for fireworks. Most of the dining choices were very busy, but we were planning to spend our evening there regardless. I chose Harry Caray's over other places such as Bubba Gump Shrimp partly because I wanted to at least go to a local "chain". We went to the hostess stand and were told the wait would be 20-30 minutes. That didn't seem too terrible and it gave us an option of walking around inside and looking at the shops. I received a text from Open Table at 7:22 confirming we were on the wait list. After 30 minutes, we went back to the hostess stand and were told there were still 5 people ahead of us. Why was I told 20-30 minutes if it was going to be closer to an hour (or longer?) My wife found 2 seats at the bar, so we went there to have a drink and eventually eat dinner. I was disappointed by my meal. The pulled pork platter is nothing more than an open faced sandwich for $2.00 more. My wife had the brisket sandwich. There really was no difference between the two - besides obviously the pork and brisket - except for the fact that she had two pieces of Texas toast while I had one. I will say my wife loved the bacon mac n cheese. She was raving about it days later. But overall, I'd say the food was average - and fortunately affordable - while the service was mediocre at best.

First off, forget trying to find this place using the address. For that matter, don't bother calling because the employee who answered didn't even know where they were. Want proof, Google "700 E Grand Ave" and look at the street view. Do you see a restaurant? Just head towards the peer and eventually you'll see it. They nudged us into outdoor seating but the flies were fierce. Sure, they can't control that, but at least warn us. Our service was good, and the food was just okay. I suppose it's the name that gets people to come. They had live music and he was AWFUL. Terrible jokes and puns with a voice to match. Now my two stars shows "poor" but three says "average". This was below average but I wouldn't go as far as saying poor. I would certainly not recommend the place, but if it were the last spot on earth, things could be worse. However, with all the great eats in Chicago, you have much better options for your hunger.

We were looking for a place to eat and we randomly chose this place. We sat on the patio which was very nice. Juan was our server and he was very friendly and attentive! The food was delicious and hit the spot! We checked out the museum was very fun to see!

Stopped in for a cocktail during a visit to Navy Pier. Initially sat at a table in the bar area since the bar was full. Asked a server if we could seat ourselves, so he knew we were there, but no greeting from anyone or menu supplied...after about 10 minutes of waiting, we changed our seat to the bar since seats opened up. Bar staff was plentiful and inattentive. Had to ask for the bar top to be wiped down...glassware had been cleared from previous guests, but area left dirty. Drinks were fine..generic. Waited a ridiculous amount of time to order a second cocktail even though there was bar staff everywhere..lack of eye contact and customer service was disappointing. Plenty of tvs to watch sports. Lots of sports memorabilia. Nice looking establishment.

Amazing staff! I left my iPhone X on the table and one of the employees chased me down several blocks away to return it to me!! I can’t thank that gentleman enough! And when I tried to give him a tip for his kindness he refused. What an amazing person!! I wish I had gotten his name so I could have written the company a letter. The waitress we had was also excellent. She was kind and fast. The food was great too! This is my first time in Chicago and this restaurant has certainly given me a fantastic first impression of the city!!!!

The food is very good. We selected a salad and the vegan burger, and we enjoyed them. A very relaxed place full of sports history.

I got the footlong Chicago dog and a pulled pork sandwich for lunch which was actually really good! This restaurant is like eating inside a museum with all the sports memorabilia in it but nice play to visit and grab something to eat.

Excellent pulled pork sandwich. The waiter was very attentive. Ambiance was great with many photos. The special fruit peach drink was awesome. I would come back.

My grown son and I were seated in the area where the musician was playing. The music was very loud and not the style that we like. I had the Cobb salad my son had the salmon salad. The chicken in the cobb salad was tasteless. We also had corn bread which was expensive, large and not tasty. We did enjoy the Guinness beer that we shared. The staff were diligent and helpful. We went to this restaurant because our hotel was nearby. We would not return.

Holy cow! That’s what I said after seeing the enormous price to park at Navy Pier. My family dined here a few weeks ago on a weeknight. It was a nice night so we ate outside on the patio. There was no wait for a table. The food is moderately priced, which is good since you need to save some money for parking. My daughter, granddaughter and I all had the turkey burger. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. We also had sweet potato fries or slaw for sides. They were very tasty also. My other granddaughter liked her chicken bites. Service was good considering it was a busy time. I will be back again the next time I come to Chicago.

Fantastic menu with something for everyone - even the Impossible burger! Drinks are cold and delicious, and the prices are reasonable.

THis is a fun and casual restaurant. Loved all the memorabelia, too! I wasn't very adventurous with my menu choice of a hamburger, but it was delicious!

We had a party of six. The drinks were great. The food was not good. We understand that we are still in a pandemic, but with a limite menu, they should be good at serving the burgers and salad on the menu, but they are not. The burgers were like frozen school burgers and were not really cooked.

The atmosphere here is pretty cool and what I love the most about it was the memorabilia that is spread out throughout the restaurant. When I was there I had the hamburger and it was really good. If you are visiting Navy Pier this is not a bad place to eat.

We are on a business trip but got a chance to explore the city. We stumbled upon this restaurant. Great food, good atmosphere, and charismatic waiter. And the fried pickles were amazing!!!

Nice visit. Staff friendly. Food ok. Nothing special. Location is great. Sit outside if possible. Watch for the “birds”.

Located in Navy Pier the Restaurant has a simple but good menu with incredible photos of sports stars, movie stars and interesting people. Food is surprisingly good especially the Poutine and pulled pork

Was disappointed in the food for the cost. My wife ordered the seafood platter. There was not much seafood as it was overwhelmed with french fries. There was a small serving of fish and the calamari was rubbery (over/recooked). I had the basic bacon/cheese burger which was quite tasty, but the patty was smaller than I expected. Service was average (it was hard to keep up with the amount of customers). Expect to pay above average due to the location. I'm being generous with my rating. Though it was not poor, the food didn't meet my expectation of what I saw on the website.

Hostesses were nice, but very unorganized. They told us it would be a 30-45 minute wait even though there were tons of empty tables. Then it only took 10 minutes? Ordered the Italian beef sandwich. It was good, but they skimped out on the sauce and on the peppers. Wasn’t particularly large either. When you pay $16.95, you’d think it would come loaded. Fries were nice and crispy so that was good. Our waiter was great and the dogs on the patio made it better.

I wanted this to be a good experience but the food was just not good. We ordered quesadilla and fries for my daughter ( fries were not edible) and the quesadilla had barely any cheese. The santa fee chicken salad was not spicy and yhe chicken was very dry. The only thing we really enjoyed were the calamari. In addition in had to keep asking for basic things such as napkins and utensils. Do not recommend.

The location was great, the food was good (skip the cole slaw :( ) We made reservations and were seated right away and they took our order, food came fast. After that...we didn't get silver ware, we had to ask for the drink we ordered, no one checked to see if we needed anything, I had to go to the bar for a refill on my water ( no drink refills) , I had to ask for the bill and I had to go back to the bar and pay because no one came back to take our money. So it was very self - serve. Disappointing, I had been there before and loved it, but we won't go back.

So we saw that the place looked clean and organized and we decided to give it a shot. The waiter with I think an Irish accent came to our table promptly and took our drink orders, drinks came out quick and one person asked for lime for her Corona, waiter forgot the lime and we had to ask him again, so we asked the waiter if we ordered an appetizer at the same time as the main course will he be able to bring it out before the main course and he said yes but again didn’t deliver our main course came first, so at the end I paid with my Debit card and the very next day someone tried to purchase 2 things one for $500.00 and one for $200.00. I will never eat or look at this place again.

Was very disappointed with the food. Server was really great. Ordered fried chicken salad and the chicken was bland, very small pieces and overcooked. The salad I ordered looked good but I asked that there dressing be placed on the side, the salad came to the table with lots of dressing already on it. The garlic cheese bread was really good. We returned the salads finished the beer ordered and bread. Paid for it tipped the waiters left and will not return.

I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of grilled wings to begin with. The celery and carrots appeared as though they had sat out for awhile. My picky eating 10 yr old did really enjoy the hamburger. This is a must stop if you want to see a huge variety of Chicago Sports Memorabilia. We really did enjoy our waiter as well. Would return, but definitely try something else on the menu.

The Good: Cheese curds, pulled pork, and the short-ribs were all very good. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was fun. I loved looking at all the pictures, and I especially liked that there were pictures of families and regular people. The Bad: I was unimpressed by the hot dog, and considered the prices too high. Once I realized how many of the same pictures were replicated several times, I was less impressed. Just sayin' The Ugly: Nothing really, but it was pretty empty for a Friday night. As an out-of-towner, it seemed illogical given the tourist traffic.

We needed to eat quickly and they didn't disappoint. The waiter was quite the character. However, I think it was a bit over priced. The Chinese Chopped Salad was $17.95. It wasn't that big of a portion for the price although it was tasty. The pulled pork sandwiches were also very pricey and were ok.

We went in here to grab a late lunch. Our waiter Robby was really nice and attentive. The Frose cocktail was epic. I ordered 2; the last one was “to go”. The food was good. I got calamari, one person in our party ordered a hamburger, another person ordered a Greek salad, and another a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was hot and very fresh.

Food was great ( the chicken Caesar salad and burger and fries were delicious!), and the service was prompt, friendly and helpful. While a crowd, you never felt rushed. Love Harry Caray's anywhere in Chicago!

We stopped for lunch while spending time on the Navy Pier. My wife had a delicious hamburger and I had a BBQ pork sandwich. It was good, but I'll just say that Harry Caray's is not known for BBQ. It was good, however. The service was great! I would go back again.

Had never tried a true Chicago Style Hot Dog before. Always made a change of some kind. Tried the Chicago foot long here and was glad I did. I kind of got a little tired of the sport peppers about half way thru. Overall a great experience.

During our walk on Navy Pier we stopped here for lunch. The place is amazing, huge and full of baseball items. Given the wonderful day, however, we preferred a table outside. Prompt and very kind service. The food was more than good and the prices reasonable.

I was quite pleased with our dinner at Harry Caray's on Navy Pier. We were planning on going to a different restaurant, but the hostess outside saw we were walking by with dogs and asked if they wanted some water--as she had a bowl set out for dogs. We ended up asking to see a menu and staying. We had GREAT service. We were seated outside because we have two large dogs--and they put us in a spot where the dogs would have space and not bother other people dining. They also removed a chair from the table so the dogs would have more room to lay down. The waitress promptly brought each dog a disposable bowl of water and ice. I also was quite pleased that they had good gluten-free choices marked on the menu, as I have to be gluten-free. Sometimes gluten-free can be tricky, but I felt very comfortable ordering here--and my cobb salad was really good. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meal. When we asked for extra sauce, etc, it was brought promptly. A storm appeared to be rolling in, so the waitress brought us our check immediately to accommodate us before the rain started. I also will say we were surprised our bill wasn't higher! It was probably $30 (or more!) less than we would have expected due to the location and food/service quality. We felt it was a great value. Even without dogs or gluten issues, I would recommend this restaurant.

I love Harry Caray's on State Street and try to visit at least once a year. So, when I saw the tavern at Navy Pier, I thought I'd give it a try. The menu is completely different from the State Street location. It's more of a lower key bar menu. I had the Caesar salad which was just okay. The Mac & Cheese looked good. The service was just okay. It seemed like once we had our food, our waitress was gone. I bet the outside seating is great in warmer weather. I may give it another try during the summer.

I requested of my server that my salmon NOT be OVERDONE. Yet, indeed it WAS OVERDONE. The salmon was 'fishy' tasting and dry, having been cooked too long despite my request. As requested the maple mustard glaze was on the side. Nothing was done to satisfy my complaint. The rest of the dish, artichokes and grape tomatoes was delicious. For the price, I was HUGELY dissatisfied in the quality of the fish and no attempt to rectify it. How is it that the cooks can satisfy a burger or steak as medium rare but not a piece of salmon!

A beautiful Saturday on the Pier meant Harry Caray's was hopping. Had to venture a 30 minute wait but were then seated quickly, service was attentive but not hovering. No attempt to rush us out. Orders were precise and delivered quickly. Service with a smile. Food was prepared as requested and was tasty. Only negative was the Margueritas... taste was sub standard. Probably came out of a plastic bottle off the grocery shelf. Not worth the $10 price tag

Very nice place on the Pier in Chicago. Fair prices and good quality of food. Nice view with friendly staff. Fast service

We were chilled to the bone after our boat tour and went to the closest restaurant with hot food. We didn't expect much since this is the kind of place one would expect to be a "tourist trap". But as it turned out the food and service were both good. This is not fine cuisine -- basically just burgers and various kinds of BBQ, but the quality is good and we enjoyed the meal.

Mother’s day dinner was excellent. High recommend the HOLY COW Burger! The bacon was amazing with the burger. Fun view watching people walking on the pier. Service was friendly and food arrived quickly. Super interesting displays to checkout after dinner. It was like a mini museum. Definitely worth stopping in if at Navy Pier for a true Chicago experience. We’ll be back!

A large group of us went to Harry Carey's for drinks on a Thursday and came across a severe shortage of help. Our server, #605, (sadly no name on check) was the Bartender and the Server for the entire bar area, 15 stools, and about 10 tables. She did the best that she could and we tipped her well, but the rest of her tips may have suffered greatly from people who were not so understanding. Our drinks were fabulous and while it took a long time, she did the very best she could. The restaurant should be ashamed for leaving a trusted employee in that situation.

Even tourist traps should have some self-respect. This place is terrible. In spite of a lot of managers running around, they can't seem to get water on the table in a reasonable time. Food was awful. Just avoid it.

Restaurant was decorated with jerseys and everything sports, very cool! Food was delicious and right next to the Pier which made it convenient. My favorite drink was the banana daiquiri!

We thoroughly enjoyed this place. It’s huge and the menu is fabulous. Good drinks and nice place for people watching.

A very nice spot to grab a drink on the pier. Dark, relaxing bar and dining rooms. Very good and friendly service.

We started with the spinach artichoke appetizer. It was delicious! The pulled pork sandwich was wonderful! And their specialty beer is yum. The wait staff is a 10 out of 10 I highly recommend going to eat and have a good beer you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

It was a beautiful warm sunny day so we went for a stroll along the Navy Pier and decided to find a place to eat outside. We sat on the patio and ordered poutine hoping it would remind us of the wonderful Canadian poutine but not the case. First, cheese curds sparsely scattered on the french fries isn't enough cheese. I don't really care for pulled pork on poutine and it overwhelmed the dish. The "bacon brown gravy" was just odd. My daughter and I left the majority of the poutine on the plate. The passion margarita at $13 came in a tall glass and really didn't have great flavor. Who has a margarita in a tall glass anyway? Our server was very slow. We asked for water and it came towards the end of the meal. Can't blame the kitchen on that. The location is great but don't stop here to enjoy it. I noticed that people enjoyed the memorabilia of Harry Caray inside so you may have a better experience there.

Ordered the BBQ sampler platter, Jalapeño Burger, and Italian Beef. All of them seemed like the back of the house staff was scared to use any seasoning or salt. Not sure what kind of rub was supposed to be on the BBQ items but it seemed like it was only Paprika, a little black pepper, and maybe a dash of salt. The same goes for the fries, burger, and Italian Beef. The only thing that saved the IB even a little bit was the au jus and even then it was iffy. The wait staff was great, though, so at least the service somewhat compensated for what the meal lacked. The peach mule drink was Pretty good as well. I realize this is in a “tourist trap” area but it’d be nice if they were to try even a little bit on food quality.

Good restaurant. Burger and fries are good enough. Good selection of biers. Service is also good. I would recommend more choices of pasta

We were recommended to go here and also to have an infamous Chicago beef sandwich. Very glad we did. The beef sandwich we had was really good and so was the Holy Cow hamburger. Fries were crispy and very nice coleslaw.

We were looking for a good place to eat on the Navy Pier. Looked online and found this place. It is full of memorabilia from Harry Carry. The wait time wasn’t bad (15 minutes on a Saturday night). The food was very good with wonderful flavor. The house bbq sauce is very good with your mouth wanting another bite. The service here was terrible. Our server did not check on us once during the meal to refill our drinks. I enjoyed the food here, just not the service.

A friend and I stopped by Harry Caray’s for a drink and appetizers. Overall, the staff were crabby and not super helpful. The hostess appeared distracted, annoyed and forgetful. The bartender was responsive, albeit super busy at the bar. When we moved from the bar out to the patio, our server never came. We left feeling very unimpressed - both with the food and the service we received. Nice location and a variety of food items available though.

I wrongfully assumed they would just be cashing in on the name, was I ever mistaken. All employees were very friendly and helpful. All four of us enjoyed our meals. The pulled pork sandwich was very tasty and filling. The server was friendly and attentive. The decor was mind blowing. Pictures of Harry everywhere, which constantly brought a smile to my face. Sports memorabilia, not just from Chicago teams. I even bought a Tshirt

Visited Harry Caray’s on NYE for dinner. The food was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was fun, the kids enjoyed looking at all of the memorabilia. We had the poutine and kids had Mac and cheese. The poutine was fantastic and big enough to share!!

Overrated. Don't waste a meal here. Atmosphere is great with all the photos and memorabilia on display, but the food is mediocre at best. We were a party of 8 and everyone had the same opinion.

We stopped in to get a drink, mostly to say that we had been to Harry Caray's. You can get your drink in a souvenir mug, which was kind of cool. There are lots of pictures and memorabilia throughout. Nice stop!

I had a terrible experience. My food came out cold after having an unreasonably long wait. It was clear that the food had been sitting there and they poured hot juice over the top of the cold food (Vesuvius chicken)

We were walking Navy Pier and stopped in for a couple of drinks. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and efficient. The drinks were well prepared and priced about right, considering in is Chicago. The place seemed nice, but we were outside and can't speak for the rest of the place.

(visited Wednesday 6.29.22)ladies that work hostess desk should not be working anywhere, so called manger on duty should be a dish lady . Absolutely have no idea about customer service ,absolutely .Keeping in mind that HCT is an very average Joe eatery i would still not expect hostesses and managers to treat customers like customers work for them, like customer is at fault that he decided to stop by and eat .Absolutely shame service. Ladies, if you dont want to work like 95% of people in the world do, then stay home and don't mistreat costumers with your attitude . We asked for different table in the shade( there was about 15 tables open ,no reservation indications on them) we were told that we cant get a one of the 15 tables because waters have a system on who sits were. After clarifying "do you really mean that you will turn down paying customer just because You as hostess cant do your job and accommodate costumers, do you really" the hostess basically said Yes we turn down customer who don't want to sit were We(we as restaurant) sit them . Asked for manager, lady pretty much confirmed same thing that she would rather turn down paying customers . We had guest from United Kingdom with us who are very well traveled and visit from hole restaurants to top Michelin star restaurants and they were disgusted how low level of service this establishment has and how low customer service standards are here. Turn down paying customers just because of the different table request and tell customer that we care more about our seating system then a customer . Well done very average Joe eatery or what ever it is that's it called . Shoutout to our waiter he was a blessing after this crap show with hostess and so called manager lady ,who really shouldn't be managing anything else with her management skills but dirty dishes in the kitchen . Again Ladies, if you dont want to work like rest of the world does, just dont or learn how and memories You are there because of Costumers not vise versa

We had an Open Table reservation for 7 PM for eight people. I arrived 2 minutes late and was told we couldn't be seated until 4 people had arrived. The rest of the party arrived 5 minutes late. I received a message from Open Table the next day that we were no shows which was definitely not the case. The waiter did not appear to speak fluent English. He messed up two of our orders and I had to wait for a new order while everyone else was eating. The service was slow. They refused to split checks and added a hefty gratuity. The food was passable. The setting on Navy Pier was lovely.

Food was average and wait staff was not very friendly. We were looking to kill some time so we wanted to sit somewhere and have a nice day, not very great we would not go back.

The location is fabulous, the set and memorabilia is terrific. And then you have untrained staff that can't describe the items properly, followed by pretty spotty food. The smoked 1/2 chicken (and despite our server's insistence, was not the 'bottom half' of the chicken and all dark meat) that was cooked to the point of being so dry that it was really inedible. The pork hot links had great sauce and were also massively overcooked and hard to eat. The burger was actually pretty good - even though it included items asked to be left off. Two of the seats were dirty with remnants of previous guests, an employee pushed past me in the hallway as I was looking at some of the cool items on display - there was plenty of room to walk a foot to the left of me. No need for us to ever return. On the plus side, the peanut butter jelly Manhattan cocktail and the memorabilia was really the most positive part of the experience. Maybe if you stick to drinks it wouldn't be a buzzkill?

Nice little Pub/restaurant. The food is really quite good and the menu has an obvious British influence. We were served by Steven from Manchester UK ( originally). He’s an excellent server and great to talk to. Will come again

This “Tavern” is actually almost a snack bar because it doesn’t have main dishes, just starters, salads, sandwiches, etc. Super busy because it is one of the few restaurants on Navy Pier that has a separate space and table service, it looks better than it actually is…I ordered Lula à Dore and it came hard, very sticky and cold. The Cobb salad also has no refinement. It's a portion that can be shared between two, but without fuss! I don't recommend it and I won't go back!

We stopped for lunch, varied menu. Typically American dishes with Amoia choice of burgers and salads. Very generous portions. Average prices. Served fast and friendly. The outdoor spaces are very pleasant. Wide choice of cocktails. Inside the restaurant displays a vast gallery of celebrities who have visited the restaurant

Firstly, absolutely love the ambiance from the oval leather booths to the 1930's decor and all the memorabilia classically displayed everywhere. I could have wandered the restaurant just looking for quite some time. That being said our Saturday nite service was just ok - nothing wrong but not very welcoming to their establishment. And from where we were the place was maybe half full. The entrees and apps were well portioned but I didn't hear much in the way of "o my this is deeelish" from anybody. My pulled pork was served with no BBQ sauce not even on the side- it was tender but not a lot of flavor. Was it good to see the place?- Yes First on the return list?- No Maybe it's best for a beer and app at the bar.......

Great service. Chicken vesuvio is a good dish but lacking another element. I want some cream to thick the sauce or even just use thighs instead of breast for flavor. Very herb forward which I like. Both the chicken and potatoes you could cut with a fork. Mule was a tad odd tasting. Could taste the ginger but did not have the fizz from the soda.

Reopen outside dining and they will come! Super friendly waitress and busman. I was served a huge mound of pulled pork on Texas toast..so mouthwatering along with a generous potion of fries and pickles. No way I could‘ve stopped myself from eating it all. Of course I took a slice of Key Lime pie home! Priced right and I’ve never had a bad meal or experience here. Welcome back Summer and great food with a view.

Will try again later in the summer . They don't have full menue but what they had was good and hot. worth a try.

Stopped in here for a quick bite at lunch with our two maltipoos. They were so accommodating! They moved us from a smaller table on the patio to a larger table on the patio so we could spread out a little better. They brought water bowls for the girls. The food was good too. I had the Cubby Colada to drink. It was the best colada I ever had. My husband had the margarita and it was delicious. We shared the Santa Fe salad and it was excellent. Very nice!

The food was good and the server was helpful. The restaurant was not as clean as we typically like but it was on the weekend and they were very busy.

Very nice place with reasonable prices and yummy beers. The food was better than expected and memorabilia really fun to explore. Would definitely go back.

We stopped here twice. The margarita was amazing!!!! The Chicago hotdog—I would not recommend. I’d go back for a margarita. Be careful and watch your bill. There was only the two of us and the tip was pre-added on in which we did not notice the first night so double tipped!

I get it. Big groups, walking the pier not their favorite customers but oh my the front host outside did not want us to eat there at all costs. We had a party of 15. Sorry we cant seat that for an hour. Ok no problem. We will split into tables of 4. To which we got, that will also be an hr. The patio was empty! I pointed to all the open tables. At that point she goes "ok, what is your first group of 4"..and "i cant gaurentee you will be close." Ok! She proceeds to seat us and sits our groups literally as far from eachother on patio as possible. Ok, fine they have staff, need to spread out. But then 2 minutes in they seat a family right next to us!! I am positive the owner would not want this women pushing away customers. Usually we would have left with the vibe she gave but kids were hungry. We splurged on lunch. And spent close to 1K on the meals. I wish we walked, hated given them our money being treated like we werent wanted. Also told my daugther to "finish her drink (slushie)" before they would seat us. She was the only one in our group with a drink. It was her birthday. We dropped an $8 drink in the trash. I get it but sometimes best to let something slide when clearly a ton of paying costumers about to be seated. The stars are for the waiter (phenomenol).

There are not a whole lot of sit down restaurants at Navy Pier. We chose this on a whim because of where we were. Food was ok. Ribs needed a little more bbq sauce, but were pull apart. We had the chicken tender salad, the chicken didn't feel like freshly fried fresh chicken. Cheese curds were excellent. Service was ok, a little slow but not awful.

While at the Navy Pier, we stopped for lunch at Harry Caray's. Being that we were in Chicago, we opted for the foot long Chicago hot dog. The hot dog was very good and came with all the famous Chicago toppings and a side of french fries. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was filled with Harry Caray mementos. Harry Caray's a fun place to visit.

Loved this place. If you are a sports fan you will love all the memorabilia inside the tavern. The BBQ sampler platter was wonderful.

Place was bigger than I thought. We sat outside and had great service. Enjoyed the people watching and good service. Karaoke was horrible. 😝

Although the service was slow, the food was good and served hot. Our grandkids had chicken fingers and fries. Both were crisp and fresh. The barbecue sandwich was good and not too spicy. The sports materials on display are fun to look at and from a variety of sports. Our visit was the day Saturday after Thanksgiving and even though there were many vendors at the Pier, the restaurant was not crowded. It is a good stop for food if you are visiting the Pier.

Food not good. Waiter awful slllooowww service. Waited an hour to get our food and then it was wrong. Think the waiter forgot to put order in. He never check to see if we wanted refills

Not hurrying back. Salad dressings are thick and goopy. Grilled chicken was cold. Queso fresco was tasteless. $5:for a glass of lemonade for a child on top of $9 for a very small bowl of pasta with butter. Once the food was served, the waiter did not return. We waited a long time to get his attention. My husband’s burger was good.

Just arrived in Chicago, was really hungry went for a walk and found this restaurant. Horrible service great food.

We called in here early evening and all though it was a bit quite we had a great time great choice of beers, and the service was excellent. We had one portion of poutine which the server said would be enough for 2. How right he was.

Harry Caray, the Chicago Cubs' late TV play-by-play announcer, was known as the Mayor of Rush Street for his late-night wanderings. And he was smart enough to put his name on a chain of seven popular restaurants in the Chicago area. One of them is Harry Caray's Tavern on Navy Pier. Located at 700 East Grand Avenue, near the main entrance to Navy Pier, it offers a waterfront location, a family friendly menu, a dog friendly patio, a piano bar, an extensive collection of sports and pop culture memorabilia and artifacts, photographs and vintage newspaper articles celebrating Chicago sports legends. Open from 11 to 9 Sunday through Thursday an 11 to 10 on Friday and Saturday, it is a favorite gathering place for sportsmen of all ages. On our most recent visit, my wife and I decided to sample some of Harry's favorite comfort food, a glass of beer notwithstanding. We started with calamari with horseradish cocktail sauce and breaded and fried cheese curds with sriracha ranch dip. For her entree, my wife chose traditional fish and chips with beer battered cod, tartar sauce, coleslaw, fries and malt vinegar. I couldn't resist a Caesar salad with Romaine lettuce, garlic croutons and parmigiano-reggiano and a Holy Cow burger with candied bacon, smoked Gouda, lettuce and Harry's steak sauce on a brioche bun. On our next visit, we vowed to order a pulled pork sandwich with a bread and butter pickle and coleslaw on a brioche bun and a foot-long Chicago-style hot dog, an all-beef hot dog on a poppy seed bun with sweet relish, onion, tomato, sport peppers, pickle spear, mustard and celery salt. For dessert, we shared a slice of key lime pie and a brownie with vanilla ice cream, caramel, chocolate sauce and whipped cream. A training table never looked so good.

I had not been here before (is it new?). I have been to Harry Caray's Steakhouse in the loop downtown but on previous visits to Navy Pier I never saw this place. No steaks here, just burgers. I was staying close by at a hotel and tried this place on two occasions, First for dinner and a 2nd time just for drinks. This is a very nice place with rich wood paneling and plenty of memorabilia on display. The burgers are satisfactory served on a pretzel bun. I liked that I had a choice of baked beans as my side. Service is good, drinks are fair. The 2nd time in the bar area, the beer selection is somewhat limited, but plenty of TVs if you want to catch a game there. Harry's Steakhouse downtown is so much better.

We loved our rainy afternoon in April here. They have placed at various different display cases Chicago sports memorabilia obtained over the last few decades. The wait staff was very professional, acknowledged us immediately and were great at taking care of us at 3:00 pm on a cold Sunday with nobody in the place. The staff was busy keeping themselves busy doing chores around the restaurant. We just had a couple warm-up liqueurs and watched sports on TV after walking a couple hours in the Chicago drizzle. As you walk around the place (including the bathroom) they have remarkable stuff that even people from Minneapolis like us recognize; the iconic players, teams, and historic moments. Really a remarkable collection of stuff, it’s like a shrine to Chicago and not just baseball stuff. A great warm up and off to the boat anchors at the far end of the pier!

Fun locale with a ton of great memorabilia. Decent menu with some great options. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was darn good. Only gripe was a number of beers were out of stock. Our first 4 we tried to order were unavailable, and the staff didn't know. Each time we'd order, he'd come back and say "sorry, we are out". Other than that, service was great, food was good, and vibe was fun. All good.

I’m disappointed with the staff. The manager, Bradley Goffinet, brought security and Chicago police officers to our table to make a scene without investigation. My family member was asked to discard his outside food before entering the restaurant. He complied throwing a full beer into a trash can that was likely full. The beer spilled over the counter. The manager and hostess accused him of assault and had him kicked out of not only the restaurant but also navy pier. Then the manager had the nerve to come immediately with the bill as to kick us out. The food had just gotten to the table and he was bringing us boxes to pack up our food and leave. It was not only embarrassing but also appalling that they would treat customers with such little respect. All this over throwing away a beer. There was never any attitude nor disrespect toward the staff. I’ll never return to this location. I will also be writing to navy pier due to the fact that the security never even investigated by looking at video. They just immediately said they want you out so you have to go.

Best Quesadilla in chicago! The staff was great, atmosphere was amazing and incredible memorabilia. If you go to Harry’s you must get the quesadilla. Everyone always talks about their BBQ but the quesadilla made my life!

Not really a ‘sports bar’ person but we were drawn to this place because it looked so inviting from the outside. We weren’t disappointed. We were shown to our table which was a lovely comfortable booth surrounded by sports memorabilia and TV’s. Loved the music from my era playing, loud enough to hear and make me nostalgic but not so loud you couldn’t have a conversation. Just right. Our server was a lovely lady who noticed we were from ‘out of town’, the UK actually and was very polite and chatty. Our food and drink orders were taken and both arrived promptly. Food was really good and very reasonable especially for Navy Pier and given the portions were enormous. It was a lovely cosy atmosphere in which you enjoy a meal and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Loved the vibe. Harry Carey is a gem. The navy pier was fun. The food was good. The drinks were strong. We loved all the baseball memorabilia.

Harry Carey’s STOLE MY MONEY!!! I made a reservation for my office’s Christmas Party over the phone because my party was too large for open table to accommodate my reservation. I was told that for the number of people I wanted to accommodate I would need to leave a deposit of $200, which I did gladly to confirm the reservation. A few hours later I rude lady calling herself the manager, told me that my party would only have 2hours for our party because of a corporate event booked afterwards. I agreed and confirmed the reservation a second time and noticed the deposit had been charged to my credit card. When my Office and I arrived at Harry’s the gates were all down and closed but we could see a number of employees walking back and forth. As I walked up o asked one of the staff I why it’s closed since I have a reservation. The rude manager lady came out barking and asking if I am Felicia and that she’s been calling me since Tuesday to tell me that my reservation is canceled and that she refunded my deposit, which SHE DID NOT! She was unprofessional, non accommodating, non sympathetic and disrespectful. The way she came for me upset my coworkers and they came to my defense. The fact that this monster of a woman is in the customer service industry explains a lot about the toilet the entire industry is in! Harry needs to let this Manager Karen go! An Extremely Unsatisfied Customer!!!

Great location as its conveniently close to the entrance of the Navy Pier. Food was good but I thought it was a little overpriced but understandable in a way and giving the location. The service was a little slower than what we expected as there was not very many people in the location. Overall good resource if you don't want to wait to get out of the Pier for a different option.

We grabbed drinks there to then walk along the pier. The bar tender was so friendly and fun. On our way back, we decided to stop for lunch. The bar tender was welcoming. The manager was awful and wouldn’t let our group of 6 pull tables together. She was adamant that it was against company policy. The restaurant was not busy at all, so it wouldn’t have overwhelmed servers combing the tables. We left and didn’t eat there due to the managers demeanor. Her poor employees lost lots of tips, as we were excited to sit outside for berages and chill

All our meals were great and the famous pizza is famous because it is yummy! This was our first time but not last. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. Particularly my spaghetti dish was amazingly delicious!

Our waitress was not personable.. one busser asked us several times how things were, and he was the highlight of the meal. Manager was not attentive, even when water was dumped on my mother, she walked by after seeing it, and didn’t offer help. Very overpriced for a meal that seemed to come from the dumpster at the pier entrance. Would have rather eaten at Applebee’s. Everything “extra” like sauce that was skimped in the first place, cost more. 1/5, would not recommend, will not return.

There are too many options in Chicago to waste time and money at this restaurant. The chicken bites appetizer are processed chicken bites - more akin to McNuggets - except worse. The $16-$18 burgers are pre-made patties. The triple decker sandwich only had a hint of ham and lettuce. It was more like a loaf of bread. I only gave it two stars because the slaw was fair and the server was very gracious.

Visiting the Navy Pier we stopped at Harry's for a nice cold beer. Service was on top form, speedy, pleasant and friendly Good choice of beers and extensive menu We had the garlic cheesy bread which was scrumptious and then a ribeye steak sandwich and fries. Really very tasty and would recommend

Food was okay, nothing too special but had enough variety to work for a family with various food issues. Service was very friendly and helpful.

We took a stroll along the river in Navy Pier and stop here. Ordered slow cooked half chicken. Oh boy! This thing is huge, taste ok. But the view here along the river is very nice. We enjoyed it!

We ate here while waiting for the time to board our cruise ship. It is like a museum inside with all kind of memorabilia, so take your time and look around. The food here is excellent.

Amazing. Really nice food definitely recommend coming here. With a great location and a great view on navy pier. I recommend the holy cow burger.

I have been to another Harry Carays and the food was good.. but this one take a pass on. I had the pulled pork and fries which wasn't at all good. The pulled pork was dry and the fries were horrible and seem like they were refried and disgusting. I was so looking forward to eating at this place but it was a big disappointment to me. For the money you pay you should at least get fresher food.

Nice place for lunch. Our server, Peter, was very attentive and took care of us very well. The outdoor seating is a must for people watching and enjoying the lake. The Tavern Burger was very good with a nice smoky flavor. The Pulled Pork could have used a bit more sauce. The Corn on the Cob was fantastic! Would have given a 5 star rating, except for the Ho Hum flavor of the pulled pork.

Place was hopping due to being at the finish line of a 5k, but the staff was doing a great job! Cheese curd app with sriracha dip was amazing! Fish and chips were good. Grilled cheese was a bit dry and the tomato bisque was really oily. Beer selection was good. Only real issue was that our server gave us someone else’s credit card at the end. Thankfully I had seen our server drop the check at a table near us on the way to our table. My husband asked the other table if they had our card. Thankfully they did, and the charges appeared to have hit the correct cards, so we were able to remedy things quickly. Still, this type of thing should NOT happen. If one of us had left without noticing we had the wrong card…

Arrived at the pier location, checked in with the “hostess” I realize that it’s hard to hire good help but I thought as she stares off into space and not making eye contact that I was one big inconvenience to her day, all dressed in black, back face mask, if I was the manager I would have sent her home and put our waiter up there, young, pleasant and eager to please with a smile on his face, Josiah- good thing as he took care of the horrible drinks the “bartender” made, a $12 margarita should not come in a highball glass, there must be an ice and lime shortage because neither were present. Jimmy Buffet would be ashamed that it was called a margarita. Again if your the chain manager and reading this, Fire the hostess (3:30 Sunday 21 Aug) and promote Josiah to her position or location manger

Visit a restaurant and your questions will be answered. It was our first time in a Harry Carey restaurant and it was just fine. The food was good, the beer menu was great and service was very friendly.

I was looking for a place to grab a Chicago dog and I snagged a foot long here. It was great, I highly recommend if you like the heat and spice and twang of a good Chicago dog.

Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Harry Caray’s! We ate in the bar. Our husbands had the Wild Turkey Burgers and my friend and I had appetizers for lunch. Everything was wonderful! I had some wonderful Mac and cheese with bbq meat in it. Great atmosphere to have a few beers and visit with friends. Plenty of tvs with athletic events being shown. We also enjoyed looking at the displayed memorabilia around the restaurant!

I wish I could give it a better review. The drinks were made with cheap alcohol and all of our food was bland. The server was great as was the host. The food came within minutes on a Friday night. However, the music was WAY too loud. None of us could enjoy the dinner because of the noise level. Definitely not a place for young kids - it would ruin their hearing. Please, turn your bass down.

Although the restaurant wasn't crowded, the service was extremely slow. Food was just ok. Ribs tasted like they were microwaved.

We originally were going to eat at Bubba Gump's but it was a vacation and we always try new places. Three of us got a "Holy Cow" burger. The description says it has candied bacon and Harry's special sauce. We expected a pretty good burger for $16. Well if the bacon was candied then I'm the Queen of England. The special sauce was probably off-brand A-1. The meat was still pink ( the menu says all burgers are served medium unless requested otherwise) personally I thought it needed way more time on the grill and maybe it would pick up some flavor. It was completely tasteless. All three of us agreed. The other person in our party got the Fried Chicken sandwich and he liked it fairly well. I got the mac and cheese as my side and it was decent and really the tastiest part of my meal. Our total bill was about $75 which was the most expensive bill we had while in Chicago and it was by far the worst meal we had. We should have gone to Five Guys instead!

The location right at the pier was nice. There are options for dining inside and outside. There’s so much sports memorabilia in the museum area. Food was just okay. It was good, but not great. The service was very slow and the waiter tried to remember our whole order instead of writing it down. He forgot to key in our appetizer. Bright side is it saved us money. We would have ordered more drinks if he would have come to check on us more frequently.

Good food, had bravarian pretzel and cheese curds, no drinks. Bill was around $20. Pretzel was not typical, dip was also very good. Great value and atmosphere.

During our vidit to Navy Pied Chicago we took a break for brunch at Harry Varta Tavern and ordered Nachos, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, roasted chicken. There was a heavy rush but the dishes were served early because there was a notice not to wait and fine beyond 90 min. The fishes served were delicious.

This place was a disappointment. The food was sludge and the service surly. The tavern attached to the Sports Museum is better (although not much). As a UK visitor we demand better. The serving staff need a courtesy course. The kitchen staff need a cooking course.

6 of us ate here today. The food was very good from burgers to sampler to Mac and cheese. All were served up fast and were delicious. The Hostess seemed stressed and lacked a smile and took her a bit to decide where to put us. The other thing of note were the sticky floors, I get it’s a bar but first impressions matter

Visited on a Monday evening was quiet, got a table straight away. Staff were very attentive and kept the drinks full and removed the plates quickly after eating. Food tasted great we both had ribs, and there were very tasty. A little expensive for what you got, but well worth a visit especially if you are into baseball.

We visited with family for lunch whilst in Chicago for a weekend. The restaurant had an odd smell and the table was a bit sticky. The food was nice enough, not particularly memorable but it was OK. I’m sure there are better places to eat on Navy Pier!

Really was hoping this place was better. The food was “meh”, and the service was subpar. Not sure who’s running the show, but they need to know that it could be so much better. My next visit to the Navy Pier will not include this spot. We were seated quickly, which probably should’ve told us something. The fries were tasty, so they have that going for them.

Great place with plenty of atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. Lots of memorabilia. It was like walking through a museum of cool stuff and pictures of famous visitors.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. First time visit for both of us. We're ready to go back! The food was very good, good service, and for a couple die hard Cubs fans an awsome atmosphere! I had the Mac n Cheese sandwich and the girlfriend had a burger. We got a picture with Harry's bust and grabbed a couple shirts on the way out. So much fun

I thought this was a barbecue joint. Turns out it was just a salute to Harry Caray. The service was lousy. I was just about to order a second beer when she brought me the check....weird! Barbecue sauce was terrible.

Harry Caray’s Navy Pier is at a great location on Navy Pier. It makes for a great outdoor dining space where you can people watch to your hearts content. Unfortunately, the food doesn’t quite match. I had the Mac ‘N Cheese burger which disappointed. The burger itself was lacking flavor and everything meshes together without any distinct flavor elements. Also, the bacon and beef were both overcooked with sapped them of flavor.

We visited this fairly new restaurant on the Navy Pier. The food was great !! I had the blackened chicken on a bun it was spectacular…very tasty . My sister had a burger and fries which she said was great also.

we were there twice it was really cool, typically American good food, good beer and you could watch football the location on navy pier is great, inside and out

Took 10 minutes for them to figure out if they can seat us and how long it would be before they decided it would be a 25 minute wait. It was very odd. Sat and ordered. Asked waiter for water 3 times. Staff delivered food without silverware. Asked 2 different staff members and after 10 minutes- got up and found some myself as my daughters mac and cheese was getting cold. My son ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was supposed come on brioche bun. Can as pile of pork with garlic bread on the side. Told staff that delivered the food that he ordered the sandwich. He took it in the back and put the pork on the garlic bread. He didn’t understand what I was saying so I just let it go. I had bacon ham and Gouda burger which was decent but there was literally a teaspoon of bacon jam. I would never come back and do not recommend.

Stopped here while visiting the navy pier, the menu looked good. Got seated outside. Friendly staff but the food was meh. Margaritas were sour wouldn’t go back I’m sure there’s better food options

If you go to Navy Pier, you just have to assume that it will be busy. Even in the time of Covid, you have to know that it will be crowded (separate point for a separate time). Even still, the beauty of outdoor seating as well as the "we will text you when a table is ready" (though our server never did, despite her insistence) makes this a good spot for an easy meal for every palette. We were hoping to go to Bubba Gump Shrimp but it was closing by the time we got there. Luckily Harry Caray's was still taking seating so we got an outdoor table for four. The food was a little behind and the drinks were inconsistent but if you accept that there will be some wrinkles at first, you'll be fine and your dinner will be good. I only ordered an appetizer of the fried pickles but they were hot, crisp, didn't taste like a heat lamp, and quite good. I plowed through it, ran back to the car and picked up my family who mentioned that they had to find their server to pay (so dining and dashing might be an option on the board if you are in a rush ;-) If you've had a long day, Harry Caray's is right up front and will allow you to make a reservation and see some of the pier before your spot is ready.

Menu has a large variety including a children’s menu. It is pricey for dinners but lunch specials make going there for lunch more affordable.

This is the first Bar that hits you when you enter the main doors of the Navy Pier. The selection of drinks is excellent and the Sports themed decor really adds atmosphere to the place. We enjoyed the cider!!.

My wife & I had lunch here the end of June, 2019, we had a table just inside looking at the people walking by on the pier. The food is basic bar food & has lot's of beer choices. It was fun walking thru the restaurant seeing all the pix & memorabilia. Nice place to eat on Navy Pier.

large groups of us decided to dine there after daughter's gymnastics meet at the Navy Pier, called ahead- they accomodated our party of 30. waited a while for a server to apporach table but could see the team of servers we had were with another large group. (host staff could have started us off with waters all around) but the fellas Justin & Chris ( i believe) did a great job, taking orders and getting drinks. Food came out relatively quick and was delicious!! everyone had happy bellies.

The service was very nice. The food was hit and miss. The Italian beef was tasty. The Caesar salad was a fail. Almost no Parmesan or croutons. Just a little underwhelmed on an easy dish. I wouldn’t steer away from it. Rather, just no the food is a little overpriced.

A good option on Navy Pier with a a relaxed informal atmosphere. . The food was good and portions substantial. The servicer was attentive. On a nice day the patio is a great option. As a bonus all of the baseball memorabilia was interesting to see.

If you want a nice dinner with a large family group, this is your place. They have a good children's menu, great sandwiches/salads, and lots of BBQ. Their macaroni and cheese is a must try. Good beer/cocktail selection and plenty of TVs to watch sports. Nice indoor/outdoor seating area. Great place to have dinner before the summer fireworks!

We visited this restaurant for an early dinner. I got the BBQ 1/2 chicken with corn and it was very tasty. My husband got the mad love burger and said it was good. The memorabilia there was fun to look at.

We made a reservation, but they were able to take us earlier, which was great. Food was all great, but the best things were the burger, Mac and cheese, poutine and the corn on the cob. Good breezy location on the pier, but not a great view of the water from the tables.

Food here was so good!! Decor is fabulous, you would need to allow time to review all the pictures. Reasonably priced.

The fried fish and meatball sandwich was average. Small potions and too expensive. I wish they had steaks like the main restaurant.

Ate on the terrace (although noisy again). Was nice with a good local beer. Live music on the pier, fireworks, lots of people, a nice atmosphere.

Right on Navy Pier, the views are amazing. You are right in the middle of all of the action the Pier has to offer. Service was a little off, but that was probably because of the large barriers in place because of Covid and because it was packed and therefore loud. Food was ok at best. Nice place. Would go back. For a touristy location right on the Pier, with a crazy amount of action, it is worth the trip.

Stopped in on a quiet winter night for dinner and drinks. The raspberry lemon drop martini was fantastic! My husband ordered the chicago dog and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered a cheeseburger which was also delicious. The staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. Worth the visit.

We were a party of 6 who met the hostesses at the outside hostess stand. We arrived right before noon and asked for a table for 6 inside, as it was over 90 degrees outside. My handicapped brother was already having a hard time with the heat. The first word out of the hostesses mouth as "NO." Then she continued that they only had 2 servers inside, and that she could only seat us outside. I told her we would wait for a table inside, as my brother is handicapped and could not handle the heat. She told me she would not guarantee that we would be seated inside. WHAT? You are not going to seat any more guests at all for the remainder of the day inside???? So my son, sister, and handicapped brother went inside to find a cool place for my brother to sit, and 3 of us waited outside. A family of four came up, made the same request, and she immediately took down their name and phone number and said she would call them as soon as a table inside was open. I quested the hostess as to why she didn't place us on the list, and take my number to call or text. She said I never told her we were waiting. I told her again, clearly, that we were waiting for a table inside, and reminded her that when I said we would wait, she said she would not guarantee us a table. She again stated she only had two servers for inside. I told her we didn't mind waiting, and to put us on the list in front of the family of four since we were there before them. in the meantime, there's two hostesses at both the indoor and outdoor hostess stand, and another woman that the hostess I talked to sent over to tell me AGAIN that they would not guarantee us a table. This particular woman did nothing else the entire time we were there. After waiting 30 minutes, we finally went to the food court. I received a text 30 minutes AFTER we finished eating at the food court that a table was open for us. Don't waste your time here. The only reason a restaurant that is as well known as Harry Carry's is short-staffed in the middle of summer is totally incompetent management.

We tried to get a table at 4:00pm on a Saturday, we were informed that they were no longer accepting walk in business.

My wife, son, his wife, 3 grown children & I had just completed the Architect Boat Tour and it was time for lunch. We checked in at Harry Caray’s Tavern at the Navy Pier & were told there was a 45 minute wait for our party of 8, so we signed up. Well it was more like an hour wait but we finally got seated. My wife & I shared the Chicken Bites appetizer & an order of fries. The rest of our party had various sandwiches. The service was just ok and the Food quality likewise. The collection of baseball memorabilia is great.

Being put on a waitlist did not mean anything. We were told 1 hour, after 1.5 hours told at least 20 - 30 minutes more. Later found out reservations come first, waitlist is only after all reservations are taken care of.

We were at Navy Pier and looking for a sports bar/restaurant where we could watch our KSU Wildcats play in the Big 12 Tournament. We checked at Harry Caray's on the bar side and they were awesome! They put the game on for us and put us right in front of the TV. We enjoyed drinks and a late lunch while watching the game. I ordered the pulled pork and it was very good. My husband ordered the Holy Cow Burger and he enjoyed it as well. They didn't get his order out right away, so they brought us an extra basket of fries to eat! We were there for a late lunch and it wasn't particularly crowded, so we never felt pressured to get up and leave as there were plenty of empty tables. We had a great server who was fun to chat with!

We called heading over and were told for a table of 7 we would wait about 10 min. When we got there (about 15 min later) we were told 45 min. We waited anyway because we really didn’t want to shop around for food at this point. Plus there’s a “museum” of memorabilia around the facility that we could pass time looking at. Once we were seated, our server came right over. Drinks were out fairly quickly. Food took about another 45 mins and it didn’t seem super busy. There were many empty tables. But they may have been short staffed in the kitchen so I get it. Prices are surprisingly not bad here. For a touristy place, they could get away with hiking up prices but this was no different than any chain restaurant pricing. The food was good. Seemed like the noodles had been sitting under a heating lamp for a while but everything else seemed pretty fresh. This place is in a great location. As soon as you walk in the navy pier shopping area, it’s within steps. There’s an outdoor seating area that I’d love to try out here too sometime. The memorabilia is fascinating and the place is iconic. If you’ve never been, so yourself a favor and go at least once. You won’t regret it.

Great vibe and some yummy food options and bar man service was great. Typical bar grill vibe. Good for family and friends
Splendid food
Navy Pier is a busy place to get seated and served so quickly at Harry Caray's Tavern was a blessing, staff were great, service was good and food was plentiful, welcome to America.
