Great food in a charming atmosphere

By Veronica S |

Beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff was super friendly, attentive and helpful. There is a full bar, including signature morning drinks and sometimes live entertainment. It is a full menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on Cuban dishes. We had breakfast there twice, trying a variety of dishes. All the food was beautifully presented and well-prepared, with fresh ingredients.

Good food, understaffed.

Very pleasantly surprised while staying at Flamingo. Stopped in for breakfast. Service was excellent despite the staff being understaffed, these people busted their rear ends. Good Benedict, soft boiled eggs done to perfection.

Skip it!

Long story short. We ordered a draft beer and a mixed drink when we ordered dinner. The mixed drink came out about 15 minutes later. Another 10 minutes later, I went to the bar to order a beer in hopes of getting it sooner. My waiter taps me on the shoulder and says its on the way out, that I can sit down. Another 5 minutes later we received our food. Another 5 minutes later I received my beer. The battered fish was less than mehh, tasted kind of funky. Also note, the occupancy was at about 10%.

Delicious. Must go!

Delicious food with great service. Conveniently located inside The Flamingo. Large portions and reasonably priced. Keith was our server and was so attentive but we never felt rushed. He was helpful with food and drink suggestions. We dined here on our last day in Las Vegas and we're sorry we didn't try it sooner.

Great Dining Experience

By Lauren Miertschin |

I enjoyed everything about this restaurant -- great menu, great service. The waiter and busboy were very attentive, and handsome I might add, refilling my water constantly. I admit I drank an unusual amount of water that night, it was a rough day. We both had side salads before dinner which were fresh. I ordered the Vaca Frita, the crispy flank steak, and my husband had the La Orquesta Cubana, a sampler, plus the fried calamari. Lots of typical Cuban flavors, nice ambience and Cuban decorations. I would definitely dine here again but will arrive with an empty stomach so that I can finish my plate. The portions are plentiful and include rice and black beans. I made tacos with the leftovers 2 days later. All of the above, plus 1 beer, and 1 wine totaled $132.21 plus tax.

Wasn't What I Expected For a Celebration Dinner

By Phavored1 |

The establishment looks nice, but no one really cared for their meal. My salmon was not only overcooked, but burnt. I ate it anyway. We were there celebrating a friend's milestone birthday and I didn't want to rain on her restaurant choice. Everyone had a good time and that's what mattered. The bartender made a great Lemon Drop Martini. Kudos to him/her.

Delicious Breakfast

I came here for breakfast and was not disappointed. I had the salmon and avocado on toast and it was delicious. The flavours were incredible. The waiter I had was very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing service and good!

We ate at Havana 1957 at the Flamingo in Las Vegas tonight and it was outstanding! From the moment we walked up, the hostess greeted us and was very friendly with a smile. We were seated our waiter Keith was fantastic. He was friendly and offered wonderful menu recommendations, and the food was delicious! We come to Vegas often and I can say that this has been our best dining experience in recent years. Everybody we encountered in the restaurant was amazing. But we need to give a special shout out to Keith our server he is a shining star!

You need to eat here in Vegas

Absolutely perfection, food service atmosphere. Haven't had authentic Cuban food in a long time, and found it in Vegas. Stop in the Flamingo and have a great meal. Mikey Mike was our bartender/service both visits, do yourself a favor and request him when you stop in

A great Cuban Linch

By Melinda T |

Family in town for the Formula 1 race and found this place walking through the Flamingo around lunch time. For those who remember the placement of the old buffet, it’s in the walkway as you head that direction. A short wait for a table, but open seating at the bar could have been an option. Decor nostalgic of the 1957 time frame with great music playing in the background. Music was loud enough to enjoy while allowing normal conversation at our table. As it was lunch time, seating was in a select area but plenty of room for a larger crowd. There is a stage area in the center and set up for live music entertainment. I would image weekend evening for a band. After being seated, it seemed like a long time before being greeted by our server. Wasn’t a super concern, but we do have a diabetic family member that was needing to eat something. She was very friendly and did her very best. She was able to get our appetizers out quickly. She did seem to be new and did not have a full understanding of what was available in the bar. Again, not a concern for us as we tend to be a flexible and understanding bunch. The manager did come to our table to make sure all was good. He really seemed to enjoy his job as he was dancing to the music and laughing with staff and guests alike. Now for the food! Perfect size menu with focus on quality Cuban food and tasty drink specials. Some breakfast items served all day too. We opted for their lunch pre-fix menu. $29 per person, 3 courses including appetizer, main, and dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our appetizers of Fresh made guacamole with chips and Cuban croquettes with ham were Devine! Perfect appetizer portion and a great start! Then comes our main courses. Cuban fried rice and Cuban sandwiches. Portions so large that we could have split the fried rice four ways and been stuffed to the gills. But we still had 3 sandwiches and dessert. Oh the dessert! Flan and tres leche cake. Honestly everything was Fabulous and a great value! No way to finish the whole meal. The tres leche cake was even better the next morning. Next trip will find us splitting a meal. Hated to waste the amazing food. We will definitely be back!

Delicious!

We went to Havana for breakfast twice during our stay at the Flamingo. It was very convenient being located in our resort. The food was amazing! The Cuban steak and eggs were my favorite. It is a little pricey, but they give you a lot of food. Honestly, you could probably split a plate if you’re not starving. The service was great too. Our waitress remembered us the second time we were there and immediately brought our drinks that we had ordered the previous visit.

A magical corner in Havana – authentic and charming

By Claudia M |

A magical corner in Havana – authentic and charming Visiting Havana 1957 was one of the best decisions of our trip. From the moment you enter, you are transported to another era: the decoration, the music, and every detail make you feel like in a Cuban movie of the golden years. The food is simply delicious. We tasted the roasted piglet and seafood rice, both spectacular and served in generous portions. Cocktails are another level – traditional mojito was one of the best I have ever tasted. The staff was warm, attentive and very professional. You can see the love with which they work and how much they value the customer experience. If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic Cuban cuisine, great music and an unforgettable atmosphere, Havana 1957 is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

By far the BEST Pina Colada's EVER!!

By Becky |

I wish I'd had more time in Vegas, just to visit again for a Pina Colada. It was absolutely the best ever. I only have a small appetite so I just had an appetizer - But had to leave a review about that cocktail!! I was well looked after by Ricki who checked on me regularly with a big smile - so warm, welcoming and friendly. I wish I'd been able to go back during my trip for more cocktails!! If/When I'm in Vegas again I'll definitely visit Havana 1957 again. Hopefully, I will one day get to one in Miami.

Excellent service from Gavin

We found this on a walk through of the hotel and liked the look of the menu. We went for dinner and had a great meal. I had the smashed burger which was amazing and my wife had the shrimp pasta, which she loved and said she would have it again. We both had a glass of wine and tap water. So much food there was no room for desert and we both really liked what we had. It was faultless. A big shout out to our waiter, Gavin, he made our experience with his enthusiasm and fantastic customer service he has a great personality for someone doing front of house work. Thank you Gavin for an amazing night

Good breakfast! Attentive service

We had breakfast and enjoyed it very much. We are early risers so the restaurant was very quiet and staff was very attentive. Prices were moderate for Vegas!

A taste of Cuba in Nevada is

By mjcrooksmomof3 |

My husband found this unassuming restaurant tucked in the Flamingo Hotel. while searching me for a dinner spot for us. We recently visited Cuba and were hoping for a good Cuban meal. The mojitos were refreshing and had real macerated mint in them. The pollo Havana 1957 was outstanding and the roast pork was so tender. The accompanying black beans and rice and sweet plaintains were wonderful side dishes. Give this place a try for a treat of a Cuban meal!

Great Food and Great Service

By BittyTvls |

We stopped for a late leisurely breakfast on our last morning in Vegas. We had some time to kill between checking out of the Flamingo and heading over to the airport. The portions were huge, food was delicious and service was great. We will definitely stop here again in the future.

Too many better bars

By gazManchesterUk |

Sat at the bar to grab a cocktail but we’re just ignored by the bar staff for ages, wife wanted to walk , finally served drinks were ok nothing special, then tried and failed to pay as staff had now gone to backside of bar, 2 more couples sat down and then got up and left but it seems they were all too busy chatting round the other side so I walked round and passed the cash over , no acknowledgment, no definitely won’t be going back

Good food and fast service.

This is a newer spot in the Flamingo Hotel. It was clean and seemed like it would be fun at night with a live band stage in the middle of the restaurant. We had breakfast which was tasty but my wife and myself could of shared a plate because the portions were big. The pancakes were delicious and huge. The only complaint is a fountain drink was $8 which is crazy so drink water.

Fantastic experience

This is an adorable restaurant inside the Flamingo Hotel. We had dinner here with our 4 adult kids and it was amazing. Everyone was very friendly, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious! We would highly recommend!

Great all around

This was a fantastic experience all around. The waiter was knowledgeable friendly and on top of things. Food was amazing and the drinks were exceptional. Could not believe this place was not packed. Definitely a hidden gem in the Flamingo. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
