Spent my birthday here. Service was mediocre. Felt discriminated as an older male around 60-70 walked around saying hello to the clients happened to go to every table besides mine. No one asked if we are celebrating anything. This ranked top 3 worse location I been to for any birthday. We even put on our reservation why we came and nothing.

My colleague, his wife and I had an informal business dinner here at the JW Marriott Resort where we were staying. Usually I have lower expectations for resort/casino dining but this place was fabulous on every level. The decor is modern, polished and yet very comfortable and intimate. The well-rounded menu was modern American steakhouse. My colleague and wife had seafood and a roast chicken dish, and I found a plethora of dishes for my vegetarian tastes. I particularly enjoyed the roasted beet and burrata salad. The service was incredible. And I am picky! Staff was very attentive without being pushy or obnoxious. They were really genuine. Definitely will be back.

I ate here three times because of the convenience. The breakfast was good except there is no atmosphere in the cavernous dining room. We ate outside one night but service was so slow. The wings were fantastic-best thing by far!! We did enjoy our (expensive) wine by the fire pit on the patio near the bar. The first night I had a solo dinner at the bar (Caesar and short rib flatbread and both were good). But $88+ tip including two glasses of wine is not a good price/value opportunity.

We had a wonderful waiter and the service was great! My son and I had the filet and I added the Oscar King Crab option. The filet was cooked appropriately but the filet wasn't there. I also had the sour du jour which was corn and crab bisque. It was served PIPING HOT and I had to wait about 5 minutes to eat it. It wasn't very flavorful. The artichoke dip was filled with spinach which was okay but not the typical; however, the pita chips were homemade and wonderful. Also, the bread -- two types -- was AMAZING! If you try a bite be prepared to eat more! We had a very nice evening altogether and again, the service was outstanding!

Can dress up or dress casual. A birthday meal was made truly special by the great food and impeccable service. First time at restaurant, a nice place with fancy and casual tables that overlook a garden. Was nighttime so don’t remember seeing it. I’ve walked the hotel property in day time and really is a beautiful environment.

While staying at the Marriott we wanted to dine somewhere with windows and no smoke since the restaurants near the casino offered neither. The food was excellent and our waitress Camille was fantastic! Friendly and fast service in a nice environment. Price was as expected but not over the top. The Kale salad and scallops were exceptional.

Great food and service. We sat near a window and had a nice view of the garden areas with waterfalls. The porkchop was huge and delicious and so were the short ribs that my friend had that melted in your mouth. Sides are able to feed 2-3 people and very good. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Not pretentious at all and comfortable atmosphere. Can't wait to go again!

If you are looking for a great steak and excellent service, this is your place. It’s a prime restaurant where the sides aren’t included with your steak. The meatball and artichoke appetizers were also tasty. It’s not a cheap meal, but it has a nice atmosphere and quality of food is top notch. Being from Nebraska, I usually am not impressed with steak out of the midwest, but this proved me wrong. Top 5 steak I have ever had.

great Happy Hour, had many appetizers and tried a couple different summer drinks the staff suggested, all great would go back again and we will go back. breakfast service was good and we did the breakfast buffet, nice selections, had great service at the pool all 4 days, Desiree was very friendly and her service was top notch. great pool deck and a very relaxing place to unwind for the 4th weekend.

My husband was attending the CLO Symposium during our anniversary so I tagged along with our 11 month old. We thought we'd enjoy fine dining for a night and were so sorry we took the chance. The bread is really yummy but things went downhill from there. My husband's steak was not worth 40 dollars and was tough in spots. My daughters mashed potatoes were bland. At the urging of the used car salesman type pushy waiter, I got the special of the night - salmon with king crab on top in a hollandaise sauce with shrimp. The shrimp were way overcooked and not seasoned at all! The crab was dry and fishy. The hollandaise tasted like it went bad. The fingerling potatoes were not cooked and not seasoned either. When asked has my meal was, I informed them of the rubbery shrimp which they replaced with only slightly less rubbery shrimp and equally bland. All of this to the tune of $210.00!!! ?? Skip this place!

We went to breakfast and were delighted to see this restaurant had been upgraded and the selection of food was wonderful. Mostly, the service was beyond great. I have to give kudos to Jose, our waiter. Kind, professional and very attentive to our needs.

The attendees know the menu and are extremely attentive to our needs. The menu selection is great with ample seating space.

I ate breakfast, lunch, drinks/appetizer and dinner while staying at the hotel during the SEMA Show. All was good and very well serviced. The short Rib was the best dish but the short rib flat bread for lunch was unbelievable.

This was my second dining experience at the Hawthorne Grille - nice restaurant, very limited selection on the Menu - I ordered the Small filet mignon - it was tough, and I understand that can happen with steak - my friends ordered a pasta dish, neither of them cared for it - I ordered a Caesar Salad which was not presented in the style that I am accustomed to - and I ordered spinach, certainly there was nothing wrong with the spinach, and I ordered a baked potato which was the size of Idaho itself - the service was certainly fine, but overall the food quality, really, honestly was not up to expectations and when your bill totals $230 (no drinks mind you, we're not really drinkers) the food should be exceptional and it truly was not.

signature restaurant at the hotel with great outdoor seating next to the creek and waterfalls. Good selection of food and little pricey.

First time eating at Hawthorn Grill and we really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the ribeye and loaded baked potato. I had the crab legs and potato mousseline, which was definitely a shareable side. The entire meal was delicious, including our Irish cream crème brûlée, and our server Camille was so delightful. The ambiance was upscale and romantic. A great restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of The Strip. We’d definitely go back.

We were staying here for a few nights and attended for dinner as part of a friends birthday. The staff were sensational and Terry (apologies if in correct) , the maitre d' was a great addition. All the food was sensational in particular the cutlets. Very well priced considering the quality and we would definitely return again if we stay at the resort.

*Review is also on Yelp* This restaurant would be right at home at Red Rock or even on the strip. The decor is classy, the atmosphere lively, and the food and cocktails on point. There were a few hiccups with tonight being the first time they offered a happy hour but it was worked out. I started off with an Angry Cucumber and, once the question of if we could order food before 5 was worked out (yes you can), I ordered the short rib flat bread and onion rings. It did take a little bit for them to come out which I will attribute to the fitst HH thing. I ordered an Esmeralda while waiting and my food came out shortly thereafter. At first I was a little sad the flat bread didn't seem to have much short rib but the flavour was there. The onion rings could have done with a little less batter but they were good, and the dip was great. Service was good, so no complaints there. I will have to add Hawthorn to my regular rotation.

Had eaten lunches at Promenade (which mostly left me not that hungry for dinner) and wanted to find dine on my last night. It was OK. The scallops melted in your mouth but the onion soup was not to my liking. Had a tomato base feel to it. Asked the waiter he said it was veal stock. To their credit, they were going to take it off my bill but I declined, not their fault. But though I ate it as being "interesting", certainly not my favorite french onion soup. Service very good. I didn't opt for any meats and didn't see what the steaks were like but they were only slightly pricey given the environment. House wine was on the house (LOL casino coupon) and was really good. So my review is mixed, can't say it's 5 star but better than 3.

My wife and I had the breakfast buffet every morning. The views of the JW MArriott grounds are fantastic. The servers are friendly, and the buffet is very good. Excellent omelets! We went back for Happy Hour every night. We sat outside and enjoyed appetizers and cocktails. Our servers were fantastic. The dinner menu and wine list are very good. I will be back.

Nice restaurant with outdoor dining. Great salads and also good burger. Prices were reasonable consider you are in Vegas at a resort. Service was attentive. Restaurants have been redone, unlike the hotel rooms.

Hawthorn Grill Is one of our favorite if not THE favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Beautiful venue, fantastic wait staff, charming receptionists, and outstanding food. Last night we stopped in the bar as we were early to dinner and our table wasn't quite ready. Most of the appetizers in the Grill are enough for two unless your really hungry.

We were in town for a business trip, a group of 6 of us wanted to just relax and have a quiet night and the Hawthorn Grill did not disappoint! Our server Andre was fantastic, very professional but personable at the same time and made us laugh. The meal and service was fantastic! Our group had the scallops and filet with blue cheese, all was done perfectly. We felt bad we couldn’t eat it all! If you are looking for a nice night I recommend it.

Came here with my sister and girlfriend for Happy Hour, one of the Best Ones in Town! 4-6 Daily with Drink and Food Specials starting at $5.00. I had to try the Pumpkin Spice White Russian (tis the season) and the girls had Caramel Apple Martinis, YUM! We had the Steak Fries, Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Brussels, all tasty and large portions. Love the atmosphere sitting outside and service was great! Definitely take a stroll around the grounds afterwards, very Zen Like!

We were excited for the Sunday jazz brunch only to be disappointed. First, there was no jazz at the jazz brunch. Second the food quality was average. The brunch buffet is in a small room and it quickly becomes over crowded and unmanageable. Very hard to navigate. Very long lines for each food station. The pork was under cooked and very tough. The waffle maker was not skilled with making waffles and threw more out than she served. The waiter was stretched way too thin and it was impossible to get juice refills or another pot of coffee. The setting of the restaurant is very pretty overlooking small man made waterfalls. So much potential but just didn’t deliver a great meal/dining experience.

We made a reservation for a Saturday evening & visited the Hawthorn Grill for the first time. The entrance is off a quiet corridor in the JW Marriott Hotel, Summerlin. The bar area is dramatic & the food being consumed in the bar area looked delicious. We where seated at a large & quiet booth. I felt the "bars" you've heard reviewers comment on gave the impression of privacy. My wife felt they were a distraction. The service was good, not great, not outstanding. Large & reasonably priced wine selection. Food prices we're at a Strip (Las Vegas Strip) level. With those prices at a off Strip property comes certain expectations. Water was refreshed appropriately. The wine was usually poured by the server.. Unfortunately, with the large table, the wine was not easily accessed. We split a salad which was chopped at our request. The dressing had a slightly strange taste but the salad was acceptable. We ordered three sides, all of which had a nice appearance and were more than enough to share However, the creamed spinach was bland. The mac & chess was not cheesy enough and the "mojito fries" were home cut with a side sauce. We took the left over mac & cheese, and spinach home. We did not bother with the potatoes. The fries didn't do it for us. I ordered the scallops. Nice presentation. I think they were left under the heat lamp for a minute too long before being served My wife had the same overcooked experience with her strip steak. For $56 dollars, one can have high expectations of a steak. Hers was overcooked & was sent back. Whenever one dinner's entree is returned, the meal is pretty much messed up as the other dinners) since most food is on the table. My wife snacked on sides awaiting the return of her steak. When returned, the steak was properly cooked I had a couple bites. Good, not great for the price. The dessert menu was limited. We enjoyed the cheesecake, fixed with a carmel sauce & bananas, and the tart. Both were good. Dinner with wine & tip ran $250. Our food was only good, average. For the price we paid, we expected much more For us, this meal was only Ho Hum.

this restaurant is set in a very pretty atmosphere. we had different selections between four people and each was delicious. the service was excellent!! Luis was our head waiter. so professional and sincere. he and his team were very kind and perfectly attentive. this was fine dining at a midrange price.

Was going to be dining alone and was given bar seating instead of table seating. However, the available bar seats were somewhat lower than the rest of the other bar seats which were fully occupied. Walked out, declined table seating.

Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. The food here is really good. We had a table of 7. Half of us got the buffet - which had a lot of great choices and half ordered off the menu. The service was efficient and very friendly. We had a wonderful time here!

We visited Hawthorn Grill late September and the service we received from Jeremiah was exceptional. He was professional chatty and interacting well between customers. Excelled customer and people skills. The food and drinks was amazing. The steak cooked to perfection and the meatballs and other appetitsers on the menu was delicious Thanks for the great service and food. We enjoyed our time at Hawthorn Grill.

We've lived in the Las Vegas Valley for twenty years and this was, without a doubt, our best dining experience! Even better than Michael's, due to a less stuffy atmosphere and much better view. Our waiter Lee was phenomenal. He never missed a beat. He didn't rush us, but offered us a leisurely dining experience. Neither of us could finish our meals, but Lee insisted we share a dessert and offered to surprise us with something light. It was our wedding anniversary, so he and one of the managers Richard brought out a flourless chocolate cake (very small) with a candle, as well as the Neopolitan, also with a candle. Lee recommended the Diver Scallops which were in fact perfection. Our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant is very well staffed with waiters being backed up by servers AND busboys AND restaurant managers. We started with the complimentary bread which was devine -- a small tear-apart loaf of very soft bread with a crusty crust that looked like an everything bagel: seeds of salt, garlic, etc. We had the Tomato Bisque soup which was excellent and served with two small pieces of garlic toast, toasted to perfection. It was an effort to not fill up on bread, as both breads were delicious. Wine prices weren't bad. We had a bottle of David Bynum Pinot Noir, priced at around $70. The serving of Diver Scallops was generous; I left two of them. They are huge. They were served with a few carrot slices, which were so tasty it makes me like carrots! My husband's filet mignon was cooked exactly as he ordered it and was tasty. We shared the Mojito Fries and Brussell Sprouts. Whoever invited this recipe for Brussell Sprouts should be given an award!! They were absolutely fabulous. I ate more of them than Scallops! I don't recommend the Mojiti Fries; for one thing, it's just too much food. But they're just fries, and they're the large soft ones, versus thin crispy fries that I prefer. I think the secret is in the dip, but even then, I didn't find them particularly tempting. One manager, Terry, came by throughout the meal, ensuring we didn't need a thing. What a funny delightful man! We had a table by the outside patio with a view of the waterfall. The interior of the restaurant is deceiving large, but elegant in a very subtle way. I noticed many guests dressed casually, so don't feel as if you must dress up. Hotel Operations Manager Anthony Casal stopped by our table specifically to meet us. But he spoke with the guests at several of the other tables while he was there. I do hope the JWM corporate management team recognizes the gem they have in him; he reminds me of the very successful Anthony Melchorri from Hotel Impossible -- elegant, professional, highly competent, detail-oriented, and sexy as hell; LOL! I tend to be critical, but can't find a single fault with last night's dinner experience. My husband and I agree that it's the best dining experience we've had in Las Vegas, and we've lived here 20 years! At half the price of Michael's, and with a much better atmosphere and view, it even beats the award-winning long-standing Michael's. And that's really saying something. Kudos to the restaurant manager for running such a stellar operation. I can't imagine why anyone would chose any other restaurant inside the JWM for a fine dining experience. AND Hawthorn Grill is also open for breakfast and lunch, as well as Sunday brunch. Try it; you won't be sorry.

The service was superlative and the food absolutely delicious. We so enjoyed dining outside by the waterfalls. We were in meetings all day and this was a wonderful way to unwind. One of the best meals I've ever had. I was favorably impressed.

We had dinner and breakfast at this restaurant during our 1 day stay at the JW Marroitt.Dinner was really good with excellent service. My wife had Roast Chicken & I had Filet w/Shrimp. Both were good, and we had a Grand Marnier Souffle for dessert which was awesome. Total bill was $129 w/tip (wine and beer in there also) Breakfast wasn't quite as good. The breakfast buffet was just OK, but service was still great.

We've been coming to Rampart twice a year for several years. In June we visited for the first time since the remodel and we were truly disappointed. The service was spectacular as usual, but the food and decor left much to be desired compared to what it was before the remodel and when it was the Carmel Room. I know that change is always inevitable, but most of our favorite items on the menu had either been removed or relegated to being served once a week. One of the meals we had there was particularly unforgettable. My husband ordered the shortribs. He said they were tough and stringy, the sauce on them wasn't very good and always before they were served with potatoes or noodles. This time they were served with fava beans - not to my husband's liking. My sister-in-law ordered the sweet potato gnocchi with lobster. She said the gnocchi was extremely dense and she had to hunt for any lobster. I ordered a filet. The problem I had with it was, admittedly my fault. When they brought it to the table I was asked to cut in to it to see if it was cooked to my order. I cut in to the center and saw that it was more done than I liked it, but (bad me) I said it would be ok. The center of it was just ok, but the edges were so burned that they were like eating charcoal briquettes. The bread we adored was replaced by in house baked bread that was average. One of our favorite desserts was no where to be found. No for the decor. Their were some tables that had beautiful new gray chairs. We were seated at on of these one night (out of three). Great to look at - comfortable, not so much. They were so heavy that you couldn't adjust their position after you sat down and they were one of the most uncomfortable chair on which I've ever sat. The staff, whom we have come to know really well over the years are the only reason we'd ever return.

We held our wedding reception at Hawthorn Grill and we couldn't have made a better choice! Firstly, the contact person Miss Nikki Paloma was the best coordinator you could ever have. She is so detail oriented and a good listener to our requests in terms of set up, food, bar, and all other things that go with a perfect event. Nikki made suggestions we never thought of which made our event truly first class. The steak was awesome. My husband commented that "if you could cut a steak with a butter knife, then that speaks well of the quality of the steak." All our guests were happy. In fact, my husband and I and a few couple friends plan to go back for dinner.

We're staying here since Wednesday and every day we have breakfast in this place , delicious omelette, exquisite jam and cheese 🧀, bread 🥯, wafers with sirope, beicon 🥓, sausages, orange juice, coffee ☕️, It's a very cozy place and you can even use your beautiful terrace with an excellent view of the garden . We recommend this place. Also They offer breakfast , lunch and Dinner , He's got a bar where you can take your favorite 🍹cocktail 🍸 ❤️😎

We went to the Hawthorn Grill for Restaurant Week June 2023. For the Three Course Meal for Restaurant Week Dinner we selected Salad, Halibut and A delicious Cherry Fruit Tart with homemade ice cream for dessert. The Salad was very fresh and crisp and very special, the Halibut with an amazing sauce was also very fresh, so moist it didn't even need the delicious sauce and the accompanying vegetables were amazing. The Dessert Tart melted in your mouth. Unfortunately this delectable dinner is not on the regular menu but hopefully it will repeat for the next Restaurant Week. The outdoor patio setting by the Waterfall was lovely. Service was excellent and the Booth seating was beautiful and very comfortable.

My wife and I enjoy the ambiance of the Hawthorn very much. Brunch today was the same high quality service they always provide. Ronaldo was a fabulous server - always there when you needed him but not hovering over you. Food was very good but at 11:00 the hot dishes were a bit cooler than my preference. One minor hiccup was the hostess selected a table in the entrance walkway for our Birthday Guest. My wife had made reservations and asked for a nice seating. Understand that you can't give everyone the prime seat in the house but at 11:00 there were nicer tables and after we asked to be re-seated we were accommodated.

Comfortable seating and quality service. We utilized the Grill several mornings while staying at the hotel. The Grill opened at 6am and provide a Continental, Buffet or Menu breakfast. The group utilized all 3 venues. I utilized the Buffet, which had an assortment of fruits, breads, pastries, cereals (hot/cold), meats, eggs, and cheeses. Service was the better part of the breakfast. The restaurant provided ample seating space so noise levels were low.

this is my third review of this establishment. The first was an excellent rating; the second was critical. We went to a private party there in a private area. The setting was great; and the service was superior. Most of the party ordered the filet and the meal was excellent. The offered scallops were some of the best ever. Whether this excellence is only for private parties remains to be seen. We will go there again and see.

The brunch is very fresh you won't find eggs to order or egg omelet's. However you can ask your server and they will get it for you. Hot coffee and tea is included and all juices. The blackberry danishes were amazing. The fresh fruit was so sweet it was amazingly sweet. We enjoyed ourselves I thought it was a much better choice than the buffet.

Okay, this place was great. Excellent service, incredible happy hour values, surprisingly wonderful food both aesthetically and in taste, a regime of beautiful women as the wait staff (the guys weren't hideous either, haha), and a beautiful ambiance outside. The patio was amazing, surrounded by a koi pond, and perfect weather. I had avoided this place the first 3 days of my visit as I find hotel restaurants to always leave me wishing I went elsewhere. Sad I missed out considering the fact that I wouldn't have had to Uber anywhere!

The Hawthorn is one of our favorite places to dine and relax. The food is always excellent and the dining room is away from the casino so you can relax and enjoy your evening.

First visit to this fine dining restaurant located in the Rampart Casino. Was surprised at the nice selection on dishes on the menu. I asked for the French onion soup to start and a 6oz Filet Mignonette entire . My wife had the scallops and our friend had the same as I. The soup was really good and what a onion soup should be the steaks good as ordered and we had a bake potatoe split to share because it is large and plenty for two. Our server was very attentive. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a view of outside gardens and a small water falls. Never knew of this place before and know will visit again when we return. The prices are what to expect at this above average restaurant but well worth it. .

We had ordered a couple of filets and a couple of dinner salads. The filets were very good, tender and cooked to order. The dinner salads were nothing special. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail which at $18 for three medium-sized shrimp was ridiculous, considering they were not that fresh. All of your sides are a la carte and run about $9 each. This place is an okay steakhouse, but far from the best I've eaten at.

The food is very good, atmosphere is casual but elegant, happy hour is excellent and the service is top drawer! Three of the staff members in particular. Bree, Veronica, and Jeremiah are as good as it gets when it comes to the hospitality industry. Kind, friendly, welcoming, and exude the highest level of professionalism!

In June my wife and I visited the restaurant for a anniversary dinner. Now we are not locals, but we visit the Marriott and Rampart casino twice year for many years. We decided to try the Hawthorn for dinner. While the meal was subpar for a steak dinner, the server/ waiter service was terrible. Slow service, they ignored us and basically catered to their local patrons. We even had to wait over 30 minutes to get our check. This is and was unacceptable. We will never dine there again even if it was free. By the way it wad not very busy and they had plenty of staff.

Stepping into The Hawthorn, located within the JW Marriott, you're immediately immersed in a southwest resort ambiance. The atmosphere exudes a sense of relaxation and luxury, offering a promising setting for a dining experience. Food Quality and Presentation: The chopped vegetable salad stands out as a highlight, not only for its excellent taste but also for its impeccable plate presentation. It sets the standard high for the rest of the meal. Moving on to the main courses, the 14 oz lobster tail and 1 pound king crab legs are prepared with skill and care, ensuring that the seafood delights live up to expectations. However, the creamed spinach falls short of excellence, with its quality being merely average. It's worth noting that serving it warm would significantly enhance the overall experience. Dessert: The chocolate lava cake promises to be a delightful end to the meal, but unfortunately, it falls short of expectations due to a service issue. Proper serving could have elevated its taste, but alas, it wasn't served correctly. Service: Service at The Hawthorn is described as hit and miss. While some aspects shine, such as the attention to plate presentation and preparation of dishes, others are lacking. Details like keeping water glasses and iced tea refreshed are overlooked, detracting from the overall dining experience. Conclusion: The Hawthorn in JW Marriott offers a mixed experience. While the ambiance and certain dishes impress with their quality and presentation, others falter. Service inconsistencies, particularly in attention to detail, detract from what could otherwise be a stellar dining experience. With some improvements in service and consistency, The Hawthorn has the potential to elevate itself to a true dining gem within the JW Marriott.

We were turned away for lunch and were informed the grill was closed at 2 p.m. This was fine, but the lack of help with other options for dining at the hotel was disappointing. We returned the next morning for breakfast to discover our yogurt had expired Oct. 23rd, which was concerning since it was Nov. 11. The prices we paid for service did not coincide with the experience that was offered. This was a disappointing experience for a Platinum member of Marriott.

One of the best settings anywhere with a complete wall of windows at the back overlooking lush, dense and gorgeous landscaping with water features. Simply beautiful inside and out! Three of us had salmon, smashed potatoes (super tasty) and green beans. Hubby had braised prime short ribs that looked great and hubby reported were excellent! I loved the potatoes, salmon was ok and green beans healthy (not cooked to death as I actually much prefer!). Envious of hubby’s choice actually. Our other salmon consumers love the salmon and green beans! Total disclosure, they are very healthy people. The four of us shared flourless chocolate cake. Dense, delicious and rich. Even with the small portion, it was enough for six!

We’re locals and we were playing the slots at the Rampart Casino. Happy Hour is daily from 4-6. Tables have been separated and bar stools removed to adhere to the requirements during COVID. Many people were sitting on the patio as they have misters. Our server was friendly and provided professional service. Wine 🍷 was just $4.00 a glass. And their cheeseburgers 🍔 less than $10.00. It came out cooked too much but we still enjoyed it. Stylish decor. I think you will enjoy your visit here.

Service started out slow but sped up as the night went on. A pleasant happy hour and reasonably priced drinks for the quaint atmosphere you get to sit in. There are couches and sports TV's around the area. Happy hour food prices though are high for the size of the portions you receive.

Had a late dinner after checking in. The wait staff was excellent! My husband had a filet, I had the grilled salmon. It was good, but not great for the price. The salmon, brussels sprouts and the bread had entirely too much salt on it.

This is at the JW Marriott. Nice restaurant with good design and athmosphere. The service is efficient and friendly the food is good and the prices are not too bad. They have a nice bar as well with a good selection of beer and wine. Recommended!

On the upside, they really improved the room and the service. But, the food, the prices and the atmosphere at The Carmel Room were much better. The prime rib was too big. Seems like they are trying to impress with quantity and not quality. The price would have almost been acceptable if the food was exceptional but it wasn't. The Burger was tasty but not what most people go there for. Others in my party were not pleased either. The appetizers were very good, so if you go for drinks and appetizers you are OK. Otherwise there are other places in that general area with better and more reasonably priced food.

This is a very nice restaurant with modern decor & amazing seafood. We ordered the lobster tail which came with some veggies and mash potatoes for dinner. Sweet and delicious. I ordered the scallops which were just amazing. The green salad was also very good as well as their sticky bread. If you're staying at the JW, they have s coupon for complimentary house wine which we forgot about. The restaurant is pricey but worth it. The banana split is good but could probably skip. We also had breakfast here which was okay. Service is good but the food is like most standard hotel breakfast buffet. On Sundays, they offer brunch and charge $29.99 although the menu they give you lists it at $22.99. They need to update their menu. Dinner is very good and we would dine here again. For breakfast, probably not.

WOW! I have eaten in various restaurants in this resort, no glowing reviews about them. the Hawthorn Grill is NOTHING like the others! Fine dining at its best! Superb Colorado lamp chop steaks, wonderful twin lobster tails. But, the best was yet to come. I'd always wanted to have a chocolate souffle. And there it was, on the dessert menu! Ordered it, of course. It was the best thing I'd EVER eaten! Thank you Ms. Levine for the comp! I loved the food; your suggestion was so perfect!

It was the first of several birthday celebrations for my wife. A friend took us to the Hawthorn Grill. Setting is beautiful, service was very good. Complimentary warm sweet bread is deadly. Had to order seconds. Had a nice Malbec with dinner. Wife and I had salmon and host had steak. All three were delicious.. Captain brought a complimentary very rich chocolate desert which we enjoyed over coffee and tea. It was an excellent dinner.

Their specialty brunch (Thanksgiving) was over the top! (Note: 18% gratuity already added, so watch bill carefully!) Items included salmon, turkey and stuffing, prime rib, large shrimp, lox, caper berries, various cheeses, prusciotto, OYSTERS!, crab claws, made to order omelets, and MANY desserts. Best buffet that I've experienced in my 21 years in Las Vegas. They only do this buffet on certain holidays, but worth the trip!

Enjoyed a gorgeous view of the gardens with waterfalls while indulging in a sumptious breakfast. Wonderful service, elegant atmosphere, and excellent food.

Stopped by without a reservation at this beautiful location. Staff was extremely friendly and always there to serve you. The food was very tasty and affordable. Would recommend this for either dinner or lunch.

We joined a group in a a private dining room for a celebration brunch. The decor is very nice and they have a jazz group for Sunday brunch. The room had the use of the patio which was nice. We cruised through the buffet but because it was getting close to it closing the hostess said she was concerned about it running out of choices. We stuck with the preplanned choices which were OK not great but fine. Their Sunday brunch buffet is a bit pricey at $30 per head.

Started with their breakfast buffet the first morning. It had a lot to choose from, and was part of our package. It's wasn't bad. The remaining days for breakfast we were too early, as the buffet doesn't open until 7 am. So we ordered of the menu. I had eggs Benedict and it was not what I expected. The ham, instead of being Canadian bacon, was literally shaved lunch meat ham. The third day I had their French toast, which was ok. Dinner the first night me and my friend shared their 48oz ribeye. It was ok. The remaining nights were Cobb salads that were really good, and a couple of apps. The service was really good each time we ate. The food needs to be more memorable or I'd have rated them a 4.

Took my parents to Hawthorn Grill for their anniversary. We heard the bone in pork chop was their signature item so my Mom and I had that. We requested for "a little pink in the middle but not raw" The pork chops came out very well done and it really dried up what would have other wise been a perfect pork chop. You lose 1 star for this. As a high end steak house you MUST get this right and there is no excuse for the meat not coming out as requested if you want 5 stars. Ours wasn't even close to what we requested. Mistakes happen but come one....get this right guys. My Dad had the salmon and no complaints there, he loved it. The sides were pretty small. Most high end steak houses have large sides that can easily be shared between 2-3 people. The mashed potato side was ridiculously small and what I would call a small single serving. Brussel Sprouts were the other side and very good but again, bigger sides for what you are charging, $9 sides, so you lose 1/2 star for the skimpy sides. It adds very little cost to make the side portions bigger so don't skimp here!! They weren't very busy and the it took a long time for the food to arrive..., about 45 minutes after ordering. 1/4 star demerit for this. Our waiter was very friendly and good service overall...no real complaints here other than we were charged $14 for 2 bottles of Evian Water when we never ordered a 2nd bottle. Atmosphere was pretty good but Hawthorn Grill is tucked away into a remote corner and hard to locate but nice views out the windows of grounds and water features. I feel I"m being generous giving Hawthorn 3 stars but don't feel they deserve 2 stars from me. Too many misses to give this place 4 stars and we will probably experiment with a few different steak/seafood joints before we return to Hawthorn. Too bad as I live just a mile away from Rampart and Hawthorne.

The happy hour in the bar and outside area at the Hawthorn Grill at the Rampart Hotel does not disappoint! It runs from 4-6 daily. We went around 4:30 on a Friday and it was very busy - we luckily got the last available table. We started with the Calamari and zucchini appetizer- delicious! Then my husband got the burger with fries and I got the prime rib. We also preferred a side of Brussels sprouts. We enjoyed both of our meals . The service was excellent, the server we had checked on us on a regular basis. The Manager also stopped by the table to make sure we were happy. That was a nice touch. The dining room looks beautiful and we will try dinner another time .

Our server Julie was wonderful and really took care of us. The breakfast was amazing with tons of choices of foods. We were seated next to gorgeous waterfalls right outside the window. Sunday brunch featured a live jazz band. Amazing expereince.

This is a replacement of a restaurant that we were not fond of. What a great change and all for the better. Situated in the Marriott one can still use the Casino facilities. The menu was a bit pricey and adequate, if not extensive. The seating arrangements are superb, with sectioned places so that other's conversations were not heard and ours was. The service was very good, but that might have been because our friends were frequent customers and known to the staff. Not your "let's go out for dinner" kind of place.

Absolutely incredible experience for Christmas Eve. Dinner with the family. Great food, excellent service and wonderful ambience. Everything was absolutely perfect.

6 of us went for breakfast. The restaurant was stunning. We all hade different things, the chicken hash was very good, the french toast was also very good. They had a small buffet which served asstd meats and bread.A very pleasant place to have breakfast

We had breakfast and dinner at the Hawthorn Grill, which is in the JW Marriott Resort. Both were outstanding, but dinner was Most Outstanding. I have a vegetarian diet and the waiter told me that their chef would make a special vegetarian dinner for me, which was quite good. We will be eating here again in the future.

Excellent service friendly and welcoming bar is overstocked and I am sure if you like a drink you could get it here Food was first rate presented well tasted great Wine recommend at dinner was superb Home made breads a real treat buy save room for dinner

We’re LV locals and have frequented this restaurant many times in the past. Last visit was a good 4 months ago. Sad to report the food we ordered was not good. Simple things...cheeseburger with fries and Sirachi chicken wings. Ordered burger Medium, it came out well done. Fries were hot but mushy inside. 2 of the 6 wings were not cooked through, order was barely warm. Doused in an overload of the sirachi sauce. Not tasty at all. We should have sent it all back but we didn’t want to wait longer. Told waiter, he took off the wings and gave us a chocolate bomb dessert. Well, it was as bad as the other food. We hope it was just a bad night. We noticed a lot Less people in the restaurant than other times. Service was friendly and good. Proud to call Las Vegas HOME.

Awesome drinks, food and service from 4-6 . Sit otu side and enjoy the ambiance. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the shrimp cocktail, burger and other dishes tasty and well priced in Happy Hour. Drink and dine like royalty for a fraction of eye-watering LV resort hotel prices!

The artichoke spinach dip is a must and the Italian meatballs!! Great with a glass of wine!! The patio is really awesome and there are misters. A more cozy atmosphere is the couch area and this is great especially during a Golden Knights game as there is a large flat screen TV on top of the fireplace facing the couch and 2 side chairs. Dinners are really great and the steaks always cooked to perfection!!. French onion soup is the absolute best!! The service is always first class and they treat you like they know you! Happy Hour is popular go early and expect a little wait. Absolutely worth it!!

The burgers looked okay, but I ordered the fries, which were said to be prepared with roasted garlic, cilantro, citrus and hot peppers, with a roasted poblano aoli. What I got was the hand cut fries in a bowl with all the other stuff sort of draped over the top - stalks of cilantro, so they may as well have left it off for all the taste it added - a couple little wedges of lime at the edge of the bowl, and a bowl of aoli on the side. The first few fries were pretty good, but after the 3 or 4 on the top were gone, they got progressively oilier and mushier, and when I looked at the bottom of the bowl, there was a good tablespoon of oil sitting there soaking into them. You can see the oil in the photo. It's a good thing I wasn't terribly hungry. Also, although they weren't all that full for dinner, food took a long time to arrive. We were at the bar, and i finally had to get up and find a waitress to put my order in. So in all, not a great experience. It felt really good to get out and be able to hear again.

Shame they forgot about our meal being a celebrating occasion for birthday and anniversary however food was excellent as ever

The ambiance is very nice. The upscale menu has something for everyone and this is a nice place for a special dinner. My filet was delicious and perfectly cooked. However, my mashed potatoes were room temperature at best. The manager immediately brought out a fresh order. The service is excellent. My husband had the lobstertail and was pleased. He was even more pleased that the server removed the lobster from the tail for him. This is something typically available only in high end restaurants. If you play in the casino and earn enough points on certain days, your meal here is complimentary. Well worth it.

I ordered the smoked pork chop and fiund it be very dry for a $28 entree. Overall nice service and decent food for the price.

I reviewed this about 6 weeks ago, and gave it an excellent grade. 3 weeks later, we took our visiting family there and except for the decor, it seemed a totally different place. Some of the food was poorly prepared, such as the onion soup with bland broth and raw onions; and the Mac & Cheese which wasn't eaten. The scallops which we great the first time were over spiced. And the service was lackadaisical, at best. There are too many good restaurants in the area, we don't patronize this one again.

Very friendly service. Phenomenal fresh fruit. Excellent pastries. No need to leave the hotel for a crowded buffet breakfast. Just stay put!

We came here for Happy Hour and stayed for dinner. I had the salmon and my husband had the filet. Both were excellent and the service was great! Crime brûlée and gelato for dessert. Very nice meal and atmosphere.

We sat outside and had the most won+derful breakfast ever! Sitting in front of a waterfall with a cup of hot coffee is the best! Our food was delicious and hot. Highly recommend!

It is new, it is filled with excellent wines, appetite teasing menu, experienced, quality staff, and delightfully prepared and presented culinary creations. The setting is captivating, serving both indoor and outdoor seating, with great outdoor views. We jumped right in with wine, appetizers, and then the real deal with scallops, braised short ribs, pork chops and New York steak . . . each seasoned, prepared and presented to our complete satisfaction. The Cobb salad was a knock-out, with one salad easily satisfying two people. Yes, they divided it before serving. The wait staff kept the unique, home-prepared loaf of bread basket filled as needed, and continued to manage the table with aplomb. We had to pass on the desserts. Let the reader understand all that preceded that decision. Make a date and enjoy yourself.

WOW! This place was completely redone and now reminds me of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. It is gorgeous. The food as always is superb! The best deal is add it to your stay and pre pay for it. It is a great deal to have and you won't regret it. This is a special place for sure.

The newly remodeled Ceres Restaurant at the JW Marriott in Summerlin is now the Hawthorn Grill. The view to the gardens and water features is the same, the interior was a complete re-do. I would suggest you park at the hotel main entrance valet and take the short walk past the lobby to the restaurant. As you approach you will see the bar directly facing out to you (think Buffalo Wings Sport bar). Two disinterested customers were at the bar. The reception table is on your right, way overstaffed and enjoying talking to one another. We requested a table outside on a lovely evening. We travel thru the restaurant which is maybe 15 per cent full on Easter Sunday at 6:30PM. The bar seating area was empty, and no other dining tables being used outside except ours. Two tables of obvious convention visitors were having cocktails outside, not in the dining area. So business here I exactly like it was when it was Ceres. We were greeted by a pleasant waiter who guided us through the menu. We had really already decided because we checked out the menu of Hawthorn before we want and all four of us know what we wanted to order. BUT, it was EASTER SUNDAY so they had a "special menu" which offered not of the regular fare. So we ordered what we best could find, other than ham. NOTE to the Hawthorn....when you have a "special" menu also offer your regular menu. Our waiter offered to bring us a disk of the crispy Brussel Sprouts from the regular menu which we accepted.....no doubt left over from the night before. very tough. A small loaf of bread arrived (which maybe would serve two) along with a sample of butter. Several ordered the soup which was the best part of the evening.....off to a great start. The Beef Carpaccio was thick and watery (had not defrosted correctly) and smothered in raw onions. As bad as ever can be served. NOTE to Hawthorn.....If you are going to have Carpaccio on the menu travel three blocks away to Brio and Flemings then change your offering. We had a house special desert for the holiday....tarte tartin. So, two of our guest were foodies from Paris. This pathetic desert gave us all a laugh. The restaurant is situated outside next to a large water feature. looked great from the inside, but if you dine outside you sit next to the dirty water with foam and liter floating about, with three poor Koi fish gasping for air. The Water fall is so loud you really must shout at dinner. NOTE to Hawthorn...clean up the ponds and tone down the water from fall from Victoria Falls to a trickle. To remodel a restaurant at a high cost can only do so much. Good luck here, folks.

Staying at the JW Mariott so we had breakfast as well as dinner at Hawthorn Grill. The breakfast buffet was a typical offering of breakfast items, the muffins are very nice, and omelets made to order. The steak and shrimp offered for our dinner was top notch. We were with a large group and everything was done perfectly and tasted great. The avocado dressing salad was very good and I would recommend you give it a try.

Lunch at Hawthorn was enjoyable. I sat at the bar and service was excellent. My medium rare burger with Swiss was perfectly made, but the bun a bit thick for me. The server asked if I would like Bread and butter and I was all in for the treat, but the bread roll was hardly worth the calories, but the butter was nice and salted. The homemade chips were just okay and I had all the condiment and sauces on the side which was a good idea.

Located at the lovely JW Marriott, this restaurant is frequented by in the know locals and guests at the resort. It’s open for all 3 meals and has a nice Happy Hour during the week. It’s 4-6pm and on Fridays, there’s entertainment until 8. It can be a bit loud during Happy Hour on Friday’s, as they do the business. Wine is $4.00 a glass! The HH menu is small but very nicely priced. Their delicious burger goes from $15.00 to only $7.50! The entire restaurant is upscale so dress appropriately. There is outside dining as well. Also a fire pit to sit by and enjoy some cocktails. Very good service. We go often and I’m sure you will to once you give it a try. All good. 5 STARS.

Outstanding service in a high end setting. Were only looking for a light meal, so I had Caesar salad with chicken. Wife had crab cake appetizer and very nice Fornito fries with dipping sauce Outstanding! More than we could eat. After dinner cookies were outstanding.

Sangria was great priced at $9 and crispy cauliflower at $10 was a large portion. The lounge patio was overlooking the waterfall and a lovely Zen garden that was peaceful but only weather permitting. It was too hot on this visit and the inside bar area is very pretty. Will return.

We loved this restaurant for dinner and brunch. The service provided in the quiet area of Summerlin was more than we expected. Everyone was extremely friendly and service was top notch. In addition, the food was amazing with several options for any palate. It is quite a great restaurant and will definitely come back when we are back in the area. I would recommend making reservations and visiting it for brunch.

For me, eggs benedict is the ideal breakfast dish. It has everything you need all in one stack. I have had it where the hollandaise sauce just didn't cut it or the eggs were overcooked. This one? Perfect! If I had to give feedback on what could be done to make it better, I would have none. Now, my go to breakfast is oatmeal. You are taking a chance at some places, but not here. The portion size was just right and it came with sides of brown sugar, raisins, coconut, and cream. Hawthorn managed to elevate such a simple dish. My husband ventured over to the buffet. The highlight was the amazingly delicious donuts. I'd try to describe them to you, but I don't think I will do them justice. I have never had a flaky donut, and if I never have another, this memory will sustain me. The service staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast at Hawthorn Grill was anything but cheap, but it was definitely worth it! Thank you!

Birthday dinner for my aunt and I. Ribeye with blue cheese was amazing. Fingerling potatoes just perfect. Roasted brussel sprouts with black garlic aioli were just amazing. We even got a little birthday dessert. Our server was attentive and the manager came around several times to make sure everything was perfect. This picky girl would definitely come back!!

Excellent breakfast buffet. There was so much variety. There were pancakes, eggs, bacon, smoked salmon, bagels, bacon, all kinds of muffins, chocolate croissants, a variety of cheeses. The service was also excellent.

Very nice restaurant inside the JW Marriott resort. Excellent service. Menu options seemed limited. Prices are high. Food was outstanding. I had the braised short ribs. Very tasty and tender. My wife had the half chicken entree. It was a very small chicken, but it was prepared well. All in all, a nice dining experience, but I wouldn't return.

Yes about 25 a per person. But setting with glass windows and waterfalls is gorgeous! The French pastries amazing! Fruit fresh and plentiful with exquisite berry mix. Fingerling potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal with many toppings, eggs any way you want. Juices a plenty and coffee very tasty! Service very good! Excellent, romantic, and peaceful - we went at 10 on a Thursday and it was pretty calm and NOT busy. Setting is industrial but warm. Very impressed.

We went for happy hour and it was very good. Nice selection of drinks and beers. Could have had a better offering of wines. Food was ver good and a nice selection.

and actually larger than it looks from the outside entrance. The ambiance is fairly nice without feeling like every table is back-to-back, and the service was overall quite attentive and responsive. The food was good with an interesting variety.

We were in town on a business/incentive trip and spent a lot of time eating a the Hawthorn Grill, inside the JW Marriott. Very nice spot, lots of great food selections, service is outstanding and fast.

Firstly, if you happen to be a gold elite member as my husband is forget them giving you breakfast - they don't ! On the benefits page of gold elite it states you are entitled to breakfast in their club lounge but if they don't have a club lounge then you are entitled to a full hot breakfast, however, ......... if Marriott has Resort after is name apparently you are not entitled to any breakfast whatsoever - what a weird policy. They of course provide an extremely all you can eat buffet for their casino players who are not guests ! The Hawthorn Grill looks good from the outside but inside rather dark, tables set okay and coffee and juice brought to you immediately, coffee quite good and juice. Then you enter the buffet area which is really dark and has cold plates, cold bacon, warm sausage and I stopped there. The pastries looked stale so I made toast. Two eggs over easy were brought to me and were not at all pleasant. Basically, I left my hot/ cold food and had toast and jam, the jam is gorgeous. What can I say, another flop from the JW - funny part about it is the restaurant is practically empty and they won't let gold or platinum members have there entitled benefit there, perhaps they've done us a favour ?

By Far the most overpriced place I’ve eaten at in a very long time. $40 for a 6oz Filet Mignon that no way weighed 6 oz...it was bearly the size of a quarter sitting on my plate...no joke! I know it’s Las Vegas, but it was ridiculous what we were charged for what we were served. The reason I gave 2 stars is the service was excellent and the bread was delicious.

My husband and I have been to Hawthorn Grill several times. The food is very good, one of the best steaks is the NY strip, delicious ! Great kale salad. The service is excellent. Staff is personable and efficient. Highly recommend.

The Hawthorn is in the JW Marriott down the hall from the Rampart Casino. Frequent the Casino often but was unaware of the Grill. Don't let the term Grill mislead you; this is an upscale dining adventure that is well worth the trip. Dress Code is VERY casual which put me off a bit for a nice diner out but the service and food made up for the shorts and patio dress that some guests "thought" was appropriate. Wait staff was great, drinks and wine - nice selection, and food was excellent..

Dined here for aunt’s birthday celebration, but been here few times. Ambiance is great, but bit loud that we have to scream across the table during conversation. Then again, the restaurant is close to casino so it’s given that you have to deal with Vegas drunk vacationers, or out of town people for conventions. Service was superb! For starters, artichoke dip (yum), Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail (Amazing!), and grilled octopus which is okay. I wish you could taste the ocean meets hibachi grill but tasted straight out of pre prep Frigidaire, microwave, garnished, then served. For my entree, I had the shrimp and lobster pasta that was bland and noodles felt like it was drowning in sauce for hours that it expanded to sag. Wish it tasted better that I could’ve finished it. Surf and turf was okay, rib eye was good, but the prices for their restaurant’s Walmart quality meat is bit absurd! I can understand if you were in the strip, but yeah, you be the judge.

Had breakfast here with family. The ambience is beautiful. We sat by the window where you can see the waterfall outside. However breakfast for 3 people was $80 ala carte. If we opted for the Buffet it was still $23 a person. I thought it was a bit overpriced for breakfast

This is a bit of a hidden gem in the rampart casino. I had a coupon for a steak dinner and my friend also had a discount coupon so we had a spectacular meal for an extremely reasonable price. The decor was understated but very elegant. Our waiter, Joseph was outstanding as was the hostess. Everything from cocktails to appetizer to entrées to desert was just lovely. Would have been very pricey without the discount coupons. I guess gambling does have a few small rewards🤪

We had the best time at the Hawthorn Grill for happy hour. We were celebrating a surprise birthday. Amber, our server, was fantastic. She totally made the experience for us. She was fun and funny and so efficient. We delivered the birthday cake early and Jeremiah helped us hide it, Amber helped deliver it to the table and Terry, the manager, helped us find a cake knife. It was a wonderful team effort. Hawthorn Grill is one of our favorite happy hour locations because there is an outdoor patio with a stream running by it and birds. Such a pleasant atmosphere. The food and drinks are good, the prices are reasonable and the staff is fantastic. What else do you need?!

Exquisite dining experience at Hawthorn Grill, the crab cake, topped with a runny poached egg, whole grain mustard sauce is a delight by itself. The slow cooked Norvegian salmon filet melts on your palate, the finest salmon dish I can remember, followed by a perfecttly cooked Colorado rack of lamb, shallots and thyme jus, enhanced by braised heirloom carrots. Chef Eric Lhuillier culinary skills are shinning from beginning to end and will never cease to impress the most sophisticated palate. Server Anna provided an attentive and highly professional service. The quality of the wine by the glass selection is impressive, enhanced by top Napa and Oregon labels on the list. A top culinary destination in Summerlin, a first of many returns. Furhermore, the hostess desk offers a warm and personalized greeting

Try this. You won't be sorry. We have been going for the past 7 years and have not been disappointed. Enjoy!

Yeah it's a little pricey (scrambled egg skillet for $15, french toast for $12 and a side of bacon for $7.) But this should be expected for a JW Marriott. The waitstaff was great and my glass of water was never half empty. Food tasted good and we loved the decor. Plus, we are part of the Marriott Rewards program, so we always try to stay and dine at Marriotts.

The portions are very large. The atmosphere is modern and high-end, the service is outstanding. The food was good but not quite great. It's kind of a fancy place with friendly and attentive service. It's a pretty place.

I ate here for early dinner twice and breakfast. The food is delicious! portion size just right, and reasonably priced. There is an inside area as well as a beautiful outdoor patio that is next to a stream and pond. Great spot!

A gem was found away from the Strip when dining at Hawthorn Grill. Food was delicious and service extremely attentive. A fabulous experience that was totally unexpected!

Menu is very limited. Medium rare hamburger came black and blue. Homemade chips were nearly burned. Neither chips nor burger seemed to have been seasoned with anything. The short rib flat bread was a joke with only a few (15) flakes (yes flakes not slices) of 1/4 inch meat. I couldn't even taste meat. The only good things were from the appetizer menu: spinach artichoke dip and fresh oysters. With the 1/2 dozen oysters and 1 Pepsi, our bill was around $65. Service was good, the food was not. I will not lunch there again even though the gardens and falls are lovely.

Beautiful room, personal service, great menu, great wine list, great value, what's not to like. From making reservations to settling the bill, everything was done with style and grace. Of course, In the last twenty years, Las Vegas has become a diners paradise rivaling any American city (with the possible exception of NYC, SF, and NO.) At the same time, dining out all over America has gotten better. All that said, Hawthorn Grill is on my list of places worth a return visit.

We met family here two mornings while in town for a wedding, since a few were staying here. Our first visit, our server Jahna, spelling may be incorrect, was outstanding. Friendly, informative and made us feel we were the most important customers she had. Breakfast was very good, we ordered from the menu. We chose to have everyone meet here the next morning before we flew home. Our server was good, accommodating with a couple odd requests. Most ordered from the menu, a few of us tried the buffet. I ate from the buffet, very pricey for the choices available in my opinion. Regretted not ordering from the menu. Our biggest complaint though, how slow the kitchen was. These were breakfast foods, eggs Benedict being the most complicated dish and it wasn’t very busy. Then one guests dish was forgotten, thankfully it was an omelette they could whip up quickly. Overall not an experience comparable to the previous one, we were disappointed. We would still return if back in the area.

We were staying at the hotel and had lunch here. Service was great. The salads were excellent. Good prices too.

My work colleague and I had dinner here twice and breakfast here once. We thought it was that good. The service was excellent and the food was well prepared and delicious. We both tried different things the nights that we ate dinner here and both nights we thought the food was excellent –plus very convenient since we were staying at the JW Marriott. There was a way to walk through the hotel’s outdoor courtyard to get back to our tower, there-by avoiding the casino tour, as we were staying at the property for work for the week. The one time we had breakfast at the restaurant our server was Monica and we really enjoyed talking to her, she was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions and friendly.

This was a fine dining evening with a small group of friends. The menu was to the point with excellent choices. The staff were attentive. The food was was what you would expect, Excellent. The sea scallops, the lobster and rib eye melt in your mouth.

Great location for a happy hour. The outside patio is right next to the koi pond amongst the trees. Beautiful and peaceful. The music is just loud enough that you can still converse. Our server,Byrd, was wonderful.

This is a gem tucked away in the JW Marriott Hotel. Food was fantastic and service was over the top. It was a touch noisy, they could have turned the background music down just a bit. Beautiful views of waterfalls out the windows. Cocktails were generous.
Great restaurant
Sit outside, order a very cold martini, order the hamburger (it's divine) and the mac and cheese is worth it!
