If you have some time and are looking for a full service restaurant at Portland airport, this restaurant might work for you. The menu is typical American burgers, salads, sandwiches, fish and chips, a few main type dishes and a nice beer and drink menu. The burgers are large and quite good and the service is friendly. It's not exactly the healthiest option but it is comfort food.

I reluctantly had to spend 6 hours at PDX due to bad timing. After the plug at Coffee People shorted out my computer, I was in need of a beer and some food. This place did not disappoint. The food was good, the beer was cold local and tasty and the service was attentive but not overbearing. I suggest it highly.

This food was just terrible. The grease was so bad that we needed more napkins and left feeling sick to our stomachs. My husband got the fish and chips, and there was a pubble of grease on the plate. He asked for tartar sauce, and the waiter left and never came back for nearly 15 minutes. I got the ruben sandwich, and the bread was so soaked in grease I could not eat it by picking it up. Actually, I ended up eating only a little of it because I was so hungry after long international flight. Between the terrible service, and the awful grease and the hours of sick stomachs afterwards, I would recommend to go down the hallway a little to the food court and stop by Yumm! Four years ago, we ate at Henrys and it was delightful, fun and decent. They must have changed management to have such terrible experience this time.

This was a decent breakfast, with eggs, choice of meat and potatoes. Average air port food and ambiance. Nothing special.

I had time to kill on concourse C and I really picked the right place to kill it! Awesome e service and really good food at a decent price...Strongly recommend!

Nice staff and convenient venue on concourse C. Fish fillet was good but batter was greasy. Fries were few and had a burned seasoning with a bad taste. Coleslaw loaded with scallions. Stella on tap.

Arriving in med-afternoon on flight from our home in California, by wife and I were famished so we tried dining a Henry's Tavern, the first restaurant we saw. We asked to be seated at an open table in the open area, but the maître di sat us at a table which could not accommodate our baggage. Although the prices were high, we chose to stay. My wife ordered the fried calamari which were overly breaded. I ordered the hot pastrami sandwich. While there was plenty of pastrami, the bread was over grilled and the whole thing was very dry. Neither were worth the price. Moreover, I have a great pastrami sandwiches nearby at the same air port. Next time we come to the Portland airport, no matter how hungry we are, we will walk a little after disembarking to a much better restaurant.

During our layover in Portland, we stopped here for dinner. The service was okay to a little slow. The beer list was okay, for a tavern named for a beer, and cocktail decent. Food again was just okay. But it's an airport so expectations aren't that high.

I wish I had more layovers at PDX because I would eat her more. The food is decent pub food and they have a great selection of local micros. Service is good and no sales tax.

We grabbed some lunch at Henry's PDX location and it was a very good experience considering you are Ian airport. This is one of the few places you can sit down for table service if you don't want to grab and go. The place gets very crowded but service was good and the menu selections we had, veggie burger and grilled chicken club were very well executed and tasty. Staff here works very hard with servers bussing, etc. to clear the way for the next customer. Place is cozy in its seating and noisy but, like I said, you're at an airport and this place will be high on my list for a repeat visit.

This is our go to at the airport. Food is great, fast and friendly service, would love to give a shout out to Ashleigh for going above and beyond!

I'm a frequent traveler (50+ flights per year) so I spend a lot of time in airport restaurants, pubs, and the like. What I love about this place: 1. The food was slightly above average, but good and portions were generious. 2. The beer, you want beat the tap selection in another airport bar in the US, amazing is an understatement. I'm not sure the exact number but I'm guessing 50 or more taps, and with most of them being local Oregon brews the quality is out of this world. 3. The Price. Admittedly if you aren't use to airport prices this place would seem fair, but not cheap. For those of us use to airport gouging this is a welcomed relief. 4. The View, I love airport bars that give you a view of the runway to view incoming/outgoing flights. 5. The Service- it was more typical of what you would get at a Portland brewery rather than an airport bar, also a welcomed change. Good food and service, Great beer and ambiance, and Great price for us road warriors.

BBQ Burger – excellent burger, cooked as ordered, with nice, thick bacon, flavorful BBQ sauce, and quality onion rings in the burger. Instead of fires on the side, we substituted coleslaw with vinaigrette. And the coleslaw was terrific! We split the burger, and the staff split everything for us. This restaurant is a rare gem for an airport restaurant. Beer: Fort George Vortex- a great IPA, slightly hazy, overall mild citrus notes, not to hoppy. Overall great, balanced brew. Nice find at an airport! Overall cleanliness: average About our overall "excellent rating"- we rounded up. Outside of an airport, it would be "very good."

We stopped in for a glass of wine and snack before our flight. We tried the hummus and the buffalo wings. Both very good, the hummus was especially good with tapenade on top and a lot of fresh vegetables. We had a nice glass of wine with our food. Service was quick and very good. Prices were not bad for an airport.

We enjoyed friendly service and high quality breakfast food before boarding a flight from PDX. The coffee is hot and delicious!

Ordered a salad for $12.95 which on the menu listed all of the ingredients. Received a pre-made salad with a label also listing all of the ingredients. Was to include chicken, egg, bacon, tomatoes, blue cheese, avocado and croutons. Noticed there was no avocado or croutons and asked the server why were they missing. He indicated that because of Covid19 they didn't have any. I understand if they were not available but should of been told at time of purchase what wasn't included or they should of blacked out on the label what ingredients weren't included.

Order BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. Came with greasy, soggy onion strips piled on burger. Removed the strips, improved the burger. Burger still did not have much BBQ flavor. Asked for some extra ketchup for the Burger, and was charged an extra 50 cents. Nothing special. Fries were crispy.

So you are at the airport. What do you do while waiting for your flight??? Sit at an outside table ,got some food & wine & enjoy the best "watching" money can't buy!!!!

We visited Henry's coming and going from the Portland Airport. Chicken wings on the way out and Chicken Tenders on the way back. This place is very busy but you don't feel scrunched. The food was quite good as was the service. We normally go to Stanford's here but don't like going through the TSA.

Sat at the bar and met Ryan and Natana thank you so much for a wonderful experience! Great start to our Maui vacation! See you guys again!!

Very quick to get seated. The wait staff was friendly & fast. The atmosphere was decorated w/old Henry Weinhardt murals, etc. Pub like atmosphere but for children too. The hamburger was delicious. Waffle cut fries & beer cheese soup; all very good. The mixed drinks were kinda pricey but it's an airport & to be expected. Relaxing experience.

We recently visited Henry's Tavern at the Portland Airport before boarding a flight. We were greet warmly and seated promptly. The restaurant was very busy and we were waited on promptly. Alberto, our server, was pleasant, polite and engaging. Our order was taken promptly and served quickly. The food was typical airport pub grub, overpriced and mediocre.

We stopped at Henry's Tavern while waiting for a flight at PDX, and were astounded at the quality of the food! We each had a cup of soup - chili and beer cheese, and they were both wonderful. We also ordered a hummus appetizer plate, which featured several kinds of nice, fresh cut vegetables and a large bowl of delicious hummus - all of which were likewise marvelous! We added in 2 extraordinary cups of the Boyd's house coffee (plus irresistible refills), and we had a fabulous, healthy lunch such as is rarely found in an airport eatery. Moreover, ordering the way we did, the price was very good as well. If you are in the Portland airport and looking for great food and drink, don't miss Henry's Tavern - it's a rare treat for an airport!

Stopped in for breakfast. I had French toast and my wife had biscuits and gravy. Both were tasty. Prices weren't too bad. Service was good.

Loved what we walked upon at the airport- a celebration of Henry's one year there. Local alcohol and beer and food sampling just hanging out in the concourse, which changed vendors about every half hour. A spinning wheel for prizes and discounts in the restaurant itself, cool... Good beer selection and creative drinks after sitting down. The chicken cobb salad was interesting because they mix in a vinaigrette while providing Ranch dressing on the side- so the jury is still out for us on the mixed tastes. Burgers on other tables looked inviting. next time.

We like eating here before our flights. Very good pub food and service. They were very quick to serve us as we were short of time, but food does come out very timely. Since I wanted both a salad with Fish, but no chips, our waiter suggested they can do a smaller wedge with Fish for a better price. Perfect! Many beers to choose from and a decent wine selection. We'll be going many times as we go up for our son's college baseball games.

Afternoon visit. Place is normally packed but got to sit at the bar. Split a BLTA sandwich that was really good. Fries not up to Henry's par. Met some new friends on their way to the Portland-Denver game Ryan, our server, was quite good. Knows what he is doing. We will be back.

We spent some time here waiting for our flight. Our waiter was great - lots of fun and I'm sorry I don't remember his name. He's over six feet tall though~ The food was good, drinks were good.

Split a cobb salad and ordered the chili/cheese waffle fries appetizer. SO MUCH FOOD! Everything was fantastic. Ordered a bottle of wine in addition. Great place to hang out between flights. Service was fast and efficient. Staff friendly. Plenty of seating area. Would go again.

I'm always apprehensive about ordering airport food while traveling, but this place surprised me. Although very crowded with diners, we had excellent wait service among the several personnel taking our meal orders and then others delivering our food orders. My husband ordered the Bloody Mary special, but didn't like its flavors, so he returned it and ordered the Mimosa ~ all taken and received with pleasant conversation and prompt drink replacement by the restaurant's wait staff. Also, our request to split between the 2 of us the breakfast meal of scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and biscuits & gravy was graciously accepted, and 2 plates were nicely received. Despite my apprehension of airport food, I'd recommend this particular location if you're traveling through Portland, Oregon. Definitely, a thumbs up! to the manager who oversees and trains this site's wait staff.

I wrote in a six dollar tip and they wrote in a $20 tip, $14.00 above what I wrote in. I’ve disputed the charge and I’m contemplating further action.

Nice spot at PDX (C Concourse). Speedy service & decent food. Good place for a quick bite to eat before your flight. Good breakfast choices.

A quick lunch before our flight departed. Better than the usual airport restaurant locations in general. The food was pub fare and we chose to drink local beers, which were tasty. Hostess and service was ok, nothing special. Being in the airport, pricier than a traditional restaurant in town. Would recommend.

We ordered Chicken Cobb salad. It was delicious. The portion is good. However, it is a bit expensive. The ambiance is good.

The meals are a little pricy and the menu was limited, but it is the airport. PDX doesn't have very many choices inside of the terminal (post TSA), but this is probably the best. It's also open the latest. Plenty of seating, including seats overlooking the tarmac. There's an over 21 pub side and a restaurant side. I ordered the fish and chips. I paid the most I've ever paid for fish and chips here. It wasn't the best, but it was good.

Quick service, icy bar to keep glasses cold, reasonable prices, and great local Oregon beers. This place was a treat to find while connecting through PDX. Great for trying the local beers when the airport is the only part of your travel experience in Oregon!

September 12, 2024, I had the good fortune to try Henry's Tavern for dinner. I rate it 10 out of 10 for food, service, and ambiance. I am normally disappointed, when dining out at airports, across the country. Henry's was clean, well decorated, great service, and wonderful food. Samir and Darci were fantastic! I highly recommend them. Dan

The food we ordered was prepared well and quickly served, which is great for an airport restaurant, but the waitress didn't write down our order, and my salad arrived with onions, which I asked be left off. Also, I asked for a cup of soup and received and was charged for a bowl. Unfortunately, a server other than our waitress delivered the meal, and we didn't see our waitress for awhile, so we just ate and paid. Waitresses should write things down!

This will probably be the one and only time I will review an airport restaurant! I wanted something light so I ordered the Caesar Salad! Wow! What a fabulous surprise! It was not at all what I expected but it was amazing! I'm craving it now!

Stopped by again and this time food and service was better, but nothing to go out of your way for. I would stay with their burgers and not try other items on the menu.

My wife and I were hungry after a long flight from the East Coast and went to the nearest decent-looking airport pub we saw. Henry's was busy but found a seat for us pretty quickly. Service was attentive, the food was decent, and the atmosphere fine. Airport food is always overpriced, but this restaurant was fine and would recommend it or eat there again.

Awesome place to have lunch - get crowded. Extensixe mentu, helpful wait-staff. Bar. Clean restrooms. In the middle of the city action.

Awesome value for an airport breakfast. Sausage gravy and biscuits, hash browns and two eggs for 12.95. Gravy had good seasoning. Fluffy biscuits. Hash browns had good crust but a little gooey on the inside. Over easy eggs were perfect and runny.

Kirin was our server and her exemplary service and positive nature just amplified the great food options. We enjoyed the hummus platter and a lovely Power Bowl with chicken. Would highly recommend!

I had a Rogue Dead Guy Ale and he had an Alameda P Town Pilsner. Both were cold and very tasty. We shared the seasoned waffle fries with Gorgonzola cheese and sauce. A little much but we ate most of it. We sat by the window and watched the planes while we waited for our flight time. Our waiter was friendly enough. This place always seems busy even when there's not a lot of people in it. Lots of tvs. Great place to hang out until your flight. Will stop in again when I'm traveling through.

I was seated promptly and provided a menu and beer list immediately. Table was clean and decent size for an airport restaurant. Service was good and timely. Food was very decent. Indy race on the big screen. Price was fine.

Always our favorite place to pass time in PDX, Henry's does w great job, especially for being in an airport. Friendly and efficient service, with a pleasant atmosphere, and always clean.

Let me start by sharing that this was our first time travelling since January of 2020 due to COVID-19. Prior to our scheduled trip, I did some research re: where we may dine prior, as I know PDX is in the middle of a remodel, as well as the pandemic has forced some closures. We have dined at Henry's PDX numerous times before and it's never (apart from when it first opened) been anything special. In fact, I recall a past visit where my husband ordered a salad where bacon was to be a key ingredient and when it arrived with only 5 tiny bits of it and he told the Bartender, he fetched a few additional pieces and we discovered when the bill arrived that he charged us extra! When we mentioned it, he stated that the only way he could bring more bacon was to ring it up! He had zero interest in making it right and it's pointless to argue with someone who just doesn't care. Anyhow, last Tues when we decided to try it again because it was near our boarding gate, we had the bar set very low in our minds. Upon arrival we found a table right away, and were greeted relatively quickly. We ordered some wine and upon the Bartender's return, a burger and chicken strips. The bar itself is closed and this poor guy who served us was back there pouring drinks for all of the servers, as well as waiting tables. Our food was pretty good, and thankfully so, as we were never asked how everything was. We sat with dirty plates in front of us for 45 minutes and had to flag someone down to order a 2nd glass of wine. Truth be told, the Bartender was very friendly but was soooooo busy and overwhelmed. We confirmed with the gal who brought our 2nd drink that they are extremely short staffed and having difficulty hiring. We felt bad for the entire crew and learned through this experience and our entire trip that we're all going to need to put on our patience pants and be prepared to wear them for awhile! Hopefully, it won't be long before restaurant employees feel safe to return to work.

Flying out early, and wanted a light, quick breakfast before getting on the plane. Server (Zaid) was friendly, courteous and efficient. Just did a side of bacon and some fruit. All you need.

Knowledgeable servers and friendly staff. Good hamburger on a gluten-free bun; sub in salad for the fries as they are fried in a cross-contaminated fryer. Make sure to bring up the gluten issue; the server will warn re. possible issues with sauces/dressings. Nice wine selection too.

This place was close to our gate and the staff was her attentive. The BlackBerry cider, Henry's rootbeer and bud light hit the spots.

The food here is not cheap, but the quality is very high. Our server was very friendly, professional and efficient. Both the bacon and vegetable omelet arrived hot and the meals just the way we ordered. We will eat at Henry's on our next trip through PDX.

Service is quick and attentive. Lunch choices were nicely varied, but still mostly typical for pub/tavern fare. No complaints.

Had a layover in Portland and stopped by Henry's Tavern for breakfast. Service was great and the food was good too. Decor of the restaurant was outstanding

I was going to eat at Henry's prior to boarding, but purchased a to go salad instead. The reason is for lack of social distancing the tables! There are some attempts at it but the "patio" (meaning the concourse) is almost back to back to the next table! Come on, do your part like those of us who struggle daily to keep our restaurants distanced properly! Multnomah county is why Clackamas is still suck in Phase 1!

I stopped by to get a drink while waiting for my flight. Waited by an empty seat with some left overs, didn’t get any help from any server walked by or standing at the bar. First server I asked if the seat at the bar was available told me she doesn’t serve that area. One of the bar servers decided it was time to clean it. Then he had hard time understanding I wanted to order Prosecco and wasn’t cordial about it. Short of it, the servers are too stressed for some reason. Guessing bad management? I don’t recommend this location unless you are very desperate and can suck up the miss treatment

Nothing fancy: a burger medium-rare, fries, and a Stella. The burger was perfectly cooked, fat and juicy. The fries were crisp on the outside and hot on the inside. That's all there is too it. $22.70 isn't McDonald's pricing but neither was the food!

Really very good. I had fish and chips, partner had a BLT with avocado; very tasty, well-served, well-done, and nice. Staff was excellent. The whole thing (with a beer) was $40; I've paid that much for cruddy pizza / hamburgers in airports elsewhere. Very high recommendation.

Family and I were hungry and at 7 PM before a flight, this was the best looking choice in the terminal. Service was not great, but they were super busy so it was not an issue. Food was hot and fresh. Got a burger with a gf bun that was cooked perfectly and the kids got some items off their kid menu. Limited options in an airport, but this place did the trick.

We love Henry’s in the Portland Airport. The service is always excellent, as is the food, as are the drinks. Prices are fair, and for a fast turnaround place like an airport eatery, they do a great job of keeping the place neat and clean. We seldom end up in PDX with a layover, but when we do, this is where we go! Highly recommended!!!

Stopped in for lunch. My husband got some kind of mac & cheese burger that he liked and I ordered the fish & chips. The beer batter on the fish was so thick that it didn't cook all the way through. Fish was cooked, but wet with the grainy batter. The server did take it off the check but seemed annoyed when I told her that she might want to the let cook know that the batter was raw. We witnessed a kitchen employee wearing an apron go into the restroom across from the restaurant and return to the restaurant with the apron still on. Aprons are never worn into restrooms, period. Will never return.

I enjoyed the breakfast at Henry's Tavern. I ordered the "Henry's Breakfast which was 2 eggs, bacon and hash browns. It was really busy when I was in there. I was told that it would take 20 minutes for my breakfast. I think it was done a little sooner. I wasn't catching a flight so I wasn't' in a hurry. Allow yourself enough time so you don't get stressed out about catching your flight.

P3.5* Henry’s Tavern Portland Airport Good place to eat between flights Liked the burgers but did not care for the gorgonzola fries Have nice salads also Good beers

When we fly we allow time to stop in at Henry's tavern at the PDX airport. They have GREAT food and GREAT adult beverages! Very friendly staff!!

I chose to stop here primarily because I was looking for a place to watch Monday night football and have a beer and dinner. I had read the reviews and I was a little concerned but gave it a try. I should have gone elsewhere. The beer selection was good and the service was fair. That is all I can say that is positive. I ordered the calamari and an order of fries thinking that it is difficult to screw up frozen calamari. I was so wrong. The calamari was actually terrible which is difficult to do to frozen fried calamari. The fries weren’t bad....nothing to complain about but I was not able to eat the calamari because it was so bad. Bland, way too much breading, and really small pieces of tasteless calamari. If I fly through Portland again I will definitely have to find another place to eat.

The place to sit diwn and drink frim their enormous beer chart. Also a lot of coktails. Prices moderate. During happy hour even better. It is a place to go and come back again. A real easy pub with good food and drinks.

Take the time to grab a bite and a beer at Henry's while traveling through PDX. The food is really excellent and what I really love is the ice along the bar. You can set your glass on it and it keeps the beverage cold. Very nice servers and a lot of beers on tap. Try the chili and the breakfasts are amazing!

I always stop here when waiting for my plane home. Not always great service or food but usually it is. Im sure ill stop here again.

With a long layover we ate more than usual in Concourse C at Gate 16. My fish and chips and my wife's Cobb Salad were pretty good and the place had a nice selection of craft beers Just down the concourse from the Hollywood short form movie theater- also worth a look for about an hour

Such a treat to find excellent service , great menu options, and good value at an airport. The Portland airport rocks in general with several nice quality shops and food options. Breakfast was quick, healthy and plentiful. Veggie omelet with fruit vs toast. Yumm

Henry’s is one of the finer Portland Tavern’s to drink in. Very large elegant restaurant style pub set up with plenty of staff. The drink choices could keep you busy for hours.

I stopped here to eat breakfast before my flight to San Francisco. It never came. People who were seated after me got food but I did not. I asked the server, she threw her hands in the air and then went back in the kitchen. I asked to see the manager but she would not or did not get the manager. I left with no breakfast. I strongly recommend that people avoid this restaurant. There's plenty of other places to eat at PDX.

With a long wait for our connecting flight from Portland to Boston on our way home from Alaska, we found several shuttered options when we wanted a drink and a bite to eat. A line formed at Henry Tavern, not a bad wait. Laura our server couldn’t have been nicer. She was hustling on what she said would normally be a quiet night. The place was packed. We ordered good wine (Pinot Gris from Oregon) and a local beer, happy to be seated as we had time to chill. Thank you, Alura. The Ruben and the chili were good.

Stopped in to kill some time before our flight home to Sacramento. The soup 🍜 was good and the calamari was awesome! The beer was very tasty of course!

I had a few hours to kill between flights so I decided to try Henry's Tavern for dinner. My waitress today was Christin and she did a great job attending to everyone around me! She was very polite and checked on us frequently. I had the spinach artichoke dip which was good and I also had the grilled Caesar ( Christin's recommendation) and it was very good! The tomatoes were great and there was a proper amount of dressing. The best part about the salad was it was only $6.95 and that's hard to beat especially at an airport.

Always stop by here when traveling through Portland airport. Service is always prompt, friendly wait staff, good food and plenty of power outlets The macaroni and cheese with chicken is very tasty!!

The only thing better than a great burger and great Mac and cheese is a great Mac and cheese burger!!! They take their awesome creamy Parmesan Mac and cheese and skillet fry until a nice crust develops and then they put that on a huge 1/2 lb burger perfectly cooked to order. Delicious! Great service. Great 80's rock music. Great beer selection. The only negative part of the experience was the price but what can you expect for the airport. Can't wait to get back to Portland so we can try the actual restaurant.

We stopped here for a meal before our flight. We weren't starved but knew by the time we made our connection back east that we wouldn't get home until 2 a.m. So, we shared a burger and fries. I added a cup of their beer cheese soup and my husband added a salad. Let me tell you that the soup was outstanding. This is what impressed me. When we asked our server to cut out burger in half, she didn't skip a beat, didn't tell her eyes, didn't make a face. As a matter of fact, we were most impressed that the food came out on a plate for each of us. 1/2 burger, 1/2 fries. It was awesome service and the food was very good along with their porter beers. I have never been to a place where shared food came out separately and you weren't charged a sharing fee. Impressive.

Good spinach artichoke dip and calamari. The draft beer selection is excellent. Service is good, and prices moderate.

Love having a seat at the bar here when I'm at PDX. Try the corn beef sandwich with the gorganzola fries. Always goes good with a nice IPA!

Flew in and out of Portland airport for a 10 drive around the state. Perhaps the best meal was at the airport itself at Henry's. A Great Vegan Beyond Beef Burger and and great beer.... Life Is Good

Our first visit and will be back. The food was delicious and was more than expected. The menu had something for everyone-- you won't be disappointed!

Went to Plano TX. location for Thanksgiving and enjoyed this fire roasted Caesar with roasted romaine uncut, roasted tomatoes, and pickled peppers and onions. Standard croutons, shaved parm, and exceptional dressing. The roasted romaine and tomatoes was a treat and quite unique. I cant wait to have this again, and will be attempting to do recreate tomorrow night at home for my birthday.

We took my parents from France to Henry's. It is very cozy and the food selection will for sure please everyone. The beer selection was great and the service was really nice. We even had some excellent desserts. My recommendation are with the Cesar salad and their beer flights. My wife even had some sushi which looked excellent. Finally for dessert, they have these waffle balls with chocolate inside....delicious!

Pleasant surprise to find this wonderful Henry's Tavern....at PDX! I have also been to the main brewery restaurant in downtown Portland which also excellent! The service was fast and food delicious...not to mention the beer....just enough time to finish before our flight took off.

I fly...a lot. The Portland airport is the best. Portland icon 'Henry's tavern' has opened a branch inside the airport. We had breakfast there and it was delicious. The service was lightning fast. The coffee was real. Even the price was ok. Good job Henry's ... Way to represent the Portland foodie scene. Best airport experience ever

Decent burger for an airport restaurant. Took a while to be served but once I placed my order everything was pretty smooth. Not amazing, but met my expectations for a quick bite at the airport.

Food was good had a Ruben. The meat was thick on the sandwich. Good place to grab food and a beer at the airport.

We got to the airport early so we could eat before our overnight flight to the Bahamas. Nice menu and drink options for a restaurant in the airport. However, the server was extremely rude and acted like he didn’t want to serve us and never came back. My friend had to find someone else to get her some tea. The chicken strips were good for airport food. This place is convenient though and I would come back if I was at the C gates.

Ok, its the airport. You expect to be overcharged. Not here. Good beer prices, GREAT beer selections on tap. Decent meals, decent prices. Oh, and the little "ice rink" around the bar (see photos) keeps your beer cold!

Good option for people flying out of PDX. Seated promptly. Good menu opotions. Had an omelet, oatmeal and the yogurt parfait and all were very good. Server, Chelsea, was very knowledgeable about the food items as one of the people in our party is gluten intolerant. Everything was very good as was the service.

I came here before a flight. I had the brew house cheeseburger ($15) and an IPA. The burger and fries were good. Friendly service.

Stopped in for a burger before a flight. Even made sure the server knew we were short of time... once she showed up, 10 minutes after we were seated. Ordered a burger with bbq sauce, bacon, cheese and "crispy onions." Received a burger with no cheese, no bacon, no sauce, and COVERED with half cooked, greasy onions. Server was absent, so I asked the hostess for help. She brought a piece of cheese and some bbq sauce, but no bacon. Server eventually came back, and wanted to argue about it, and charged me full price for the baconless burger. Ended up with a $37 bill for two burgers, fries and two diet colas. Keep walking down the concourse, there is a McD sign further down.

Henry's Tavern serves passengers near the 'C' gates of Portland Airport. It has a limited menu, but is still far nicer than the nearby McDonalds. The staff were fab and I sat and ate whilst waiting for my flight. The food was well prepared and presented and very reasonable in price.

Had dinner here. The service is prompt and friendly. There are some great food and drink choices on the menu. Had the BLTA with gorgonzola waffle fries and a burger. Very good airport food!

Service was good here and so was my food. It was also fast! I got the biscuit and gravy and it came with eggs also.

Great staff, very careful and friendly. Great menu and special dishes, top quality food. Good location and beautiful restaurant. My suggest is to try it and choose the rib-eye steak if you want to eat pretty good meat.

My wife and I were heading back home after visiting family in Oregon. We had a red-eye back east, and wanted to get dinner before we boarded the plane. We found Henry’s Tavern there in the terminal at PDX. They seated us quickly on the bar side, and the high table was comfortable. Our server was very nice and took good care of us. My wife had the chicken tenders, a wedge salad w/ Henry’s own ranch dressing. I had the Henry’s mac-n-cheese w/ chicken. All of the food arrived quickly, and hot. Both meals were excellent, and the salad was large enough to share. We both enjoyed our meals, the good service and the atmosphere. I would definitely stop back a Henry’s when traveling through PDX.

Hennry's Tavern is a good place to have a snack or a meal and enjoy a beveridge of your choice while waiting to travel.

Horrible service... I had to ask for a water 3 times before it finally arrived, 10 minutes after my below average food came out. Overpriced, below average food and horrible service.

The Classic breakfast was great. The hashbrowns and bacon were cooked perfectly to order. The strawberry jam appeared to be fresh made and tasted great also. The bloody mary left allot to be desired. So I will eat here again, well worth the money. Just no bloody mary next time. This place gets 4 circles because this is an airport restaurant the food tastes good. A highly unusual combination.

This is a typical airport food joint. Prices are high in part because the airport charges big rent plus gets a cut. Airport has a say in the pricing. Service was very good and the quantity of food was good. CAUTION. Their jam is terrible. It’s handy and eatable.

Great place to grab a bite in the Portland Airport. They have a nice variety and all the food we have tried has been really good. There are lots of fast food places at PDX, but we always opt for Henry's. Besides good food, the service is very good. Would happily go again.

This was fast food breakfast. It was okay for a quick bite, but nothing exciting. I normally wouldn't eat breakfast at a Tavern, but that's all they had for eggs/bacon type foods.

Sat at the bar....Baseball on TV so alot of friendly cross talk. If you order a mixed drink, you can get a double for the original price, plus half price for the second shot. No driving so I was all in :) They had the BEST chicken tenders I can recall having in forever. I like chicken tenders and they are high on my appetizer list. The fries were very good. They smelled so good, the lady sitting next to me ordered them. DELICIOUS. Bar tender service was very good.

Great food, great, friendly service! You'll be hard pressed to find a better airport restaurant! Pricing is a bit high but fair for the quality of the meal. PDX is lucky to have Henry's!

We almost always stop here on our lay-overs. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Great food. FAST service. Tasty food. Fair priced for an airport. Nice selection of beers. "C" concourse.

Good Rueben sandwich and friendly service. Blue cheese cole slaw was also really nice. I wasn’t in a hurry and was glad to get a relatively quiet corner table.

The food is awesome! We had the Mac and cheese it was delicious. Sadie our server went above and beyond l! The restaurant is well managed by Ashleigh.

Normally I lower my expectations when eating at an airport restaurant . I was at the airport at 5:30am and stopped in Henry’s for breakfast. The food was great but the service was exceptional. At least 4 servers asked how I was doing and wished me Happy Holidays and continued to ask if I needed anything. Just outstanding. They started my day impressed and happy! Thank you staff at Henry’s!

My wife and I had a quick lunch while waiting for our flight home. Both of us had burgers and they were very good. She had coffee and I had a beer. There are many beers to chose from and I finally settled on a local Portland one. While the tavern was crowded, the service was fast and friendly. Nice place to grab a quick bite waiting on your flight.

We are HUGE fans of Henry's Tavern but the PDX Airport location is AWFUL. My cheeseburger was nearly raw, my fiancé salad was a pre-made one and the lettuce was NOT appealing (maybe was pre-made way too many days?). We were obviously heading to catch a flight and because of that we didn't have time to complain or send food back. Instead we left it at the table since we saw our server to take our order and deliver it. There's no place on website to contact anyone regarding this so I chose to do something I RARELY do and that's leave a poor review. I would have rather given them the option to make it right or even chat with them about it. $55 of WASTED money. Don't do it!

Wanted a seat and a feed while waiting for the plane. It was better than I expected for airport food. The servers were run off their feet but managed everything efficiently. The food was fresh and tasty and they modified the meal to take into account my food allergy.

Henry’s is a solid choice in Portland and the airport location lives up to the name in food quality. The atmosphere is very airport”y” in feel, but the food was very good. I give the BBQ burger a solid two thumbs up. You can’t go wrong.

Henry's had great service when I was there and I would definitely go there again. Not a large selection of entrees however, but what I did have was pretty tasty for an airport meal.

Bartender on duty was awesome, wish I could remember her name, so friendly and professional. She gave us great service with a smile even though it was close to closing time!

If you want a great burger, this is the place! And the Gorgonzola waffle fries were terrific! If you want a meal rather than a snack, it's worth the walk to C11.

Reasonable pub fare, decent beer list. Good service. OK, the 4* is compared to other venue pubs. It isn't fine dining. But like the title said, it really is a good choice when you don't want to leave and come back through security. Food is good types of beer, cider, wine good. Service attentive. Near gate C12 in the PDX concourse C.

Henry's is located in the Portland Airport. I visited in January shortly after the Government shut down around 2pm. There is lots of seating and the service rated higher than I usually find at an airport. Over 30 choices of draft beer. The menu prices were what I would expect at an airport. The burgers are 1/2 pound beef. Difficult to eat as they are stacked very high with lots of condiments. If your in a rush this is the place. Our orders came quick, hot and tasty. There are tables located for easy wheel chair access.

True to form, pdx has engaged local restaurants in the airport. We had a burger and a chicken club and two martinis for 49.50. Everything was spot on albeit airport expensive. Portions are big enough to share. Food is piping hot and served fresh. Service was great. Recommended.

Very Good! We stopped here on our way to Vegas and this place is slammed. Service - 5 Stars Atmosphere - 4 Stars Cost -4 Stars Food - 4 Stars Value - 4 Stars Overall - 4.2 Stars

This is my favorite eatery located in the Portland airport (it is behind security) but well worth the stopping in. They have great breakfast items and a super selections of craft beers. If you sit at one of the window seats you can watch planes coming and going.

this was 1 of 6 drinking establishments I visited on my own solo tour. all of the. were breweries except Henry's. very nice old bar fixtures and seating. great selection of beer staff was good. only negative was it was just too dark inside for my taste.

Henry's Tavern is a small chains bar restaurants in U.S airport , is located after security close to C gate , I was surprised the airport not busy at all , I all way arrived less four hours before my departures , my 11.50 flight back to Vancouver is on time , I have two hours wait , so I dropped in to Henry's for breakfast , limited menu , but lot better them fast food , so I can relax and enjoy my food , restaurant not busy only few tablets occupied ,friendly staff , got my hot coffee right away , my omelet little runny but taste okay , not a bad place to grab a bite before boarding , Had a lovely time and meeting in Portland , fanatic friendly City . I am coming back for a mini week end for sure .

I ordered French toast. The strawberry jam and cream looks like vomit and it is so horrible I lose faith in American food. Please don’t. Please.

Food was good, and can imagine what it would be like hot. Took forever for first drinks. Ordered appetizer of Gorgonzola fries. Other tables sat after us got their food before us. Then all food came out at one time. Told server fries were an appetizer. “Oh, sorry,” and she walked away. BBQ bacon burger had a nice flavor but over cooked. Then couldn’t get waitress to come back to check in on us. Had to track her down to get water refill. Then we had to flag her down for another drink. Fries and salad were quite good, but service left us disappointed.

Terminal C. Limited menu but that is Ok. Why? Because they have limited it to the BEST. I had Prime Rib Cheesesteak...Deliriously delicious. Support these guys on a skeleton crew because of Covid restrictions. LOTS of draft and bottle choices.

One of the better airport snack and drink in the U.S. The foodie culture of POrtland reaches nicely to the airport. Grab a bite to take on the flight.

Holy cow, I’m in love and my wife is O.K. with it! As an appetizer we ordered the Tempura Cheese Curds. They were served with pickled peppers (and just like you, I sang the Peter Piper tongue twister,) they were also served with a pepper jelly. This dish is......wait for it.......its worth an additional syllable......amaz za zing! My main course was the Rueben sandwich which was also amazing. Served on toasted, marbles Rye, the kronur was a Bacon-kraut. What? Bacon? Yes (you don’t see bacon, but it’s bacon-kraut)

We had lunch here today before our flight and would say this is average. Hubby had a turkey sandwich which was somewhat like a BLT. I had burger which I ordered medium. It was closer to rare than medium. Fries were bordering on cool. You only have so many choices.

To be fair - this was during Covid restrictions, so the Grilled Cheese was pre-made, then taken apart and grilled while we waited, which curdled the cheese :(( Family and friends assure us that this is a GO TO spot when it is "normal"

I generally avoid taverns at airports. Usually the beer is overpriced and the food is mediocre. Much to my surprise I was able to get a Stone beer to go with my burger and fries. Yes, the food was overpriced but the beer was reasonably priced. The beer was able to wash down the average, over-priced food.

Fabulous service (thank you Robert) and delicious food. I usually order a pre-boarding Bloody Mary (flight sedative), as I'm not a fan of flying. We've enjoyed the strawberry French and let me tell you; "it is really good!" Robert has been our bartender/server a couple of times and he is always personable, friendly and professional. Side note: it baffles me that some folks will have multiple experiences at a place but not write a review = Until they have a complaint. Be fair - post the pluses not just the minus's or don't bother reviewing at all….

Really great spot - especially for an airport! Food servings are huge. One of us had the chicken salad and loved it. I had the fish&chips. They were "OK," but not the best in the world - heavy batter, and the fries are standard store bought. Bit still, OK, and a lot of food. Beer selection is great! - as of course it would be expected to be in PDX.... The brownie Sunday is fantastic! And large enough to share. Alberto is a great server.

My wife got their burger, which she said was very good. I got the fish and chips, which was dripping of grease. Service was very good. Higher price for what you get.

What can you say about the typical airport bar? Pros: service as excellent Good vibe Good food Cons: pricey for Tito's, but aren't all Airport bars? So many places to enjoy at the Portland airport, this was ok.

Stopped in for a great bite to eat and tasty beer and watched the aircrafts go by! Great service and great view! We will be back!

It's always a pleasure to fly out of PDX. The Portland Airport is consistently ranked #1 as the best airport in America. It has many qualities, one of which is Henry's Tavern, located in the "C" terminal. We had enough time for breakfast, so we were quickly seated. Our orders were placed promptly and arrived back at our table cooked to order and piping hot. No plastic utensils here, real silverware and cloth napkins with portions you would receive at any restaurant chain. We were able to enjoy a leisurely meal without having to wolf our food to catch our flight.

Large selection of beer, wine, and ciders. Service was quick. Wait staff pleasant. Beverages came quick with food following. Calamari was bland; Rueben average, and southwest salad good.

We enjoyed our visit here, excellent service from Amber! The cheese burger was yummy, really hit the spot, great flavor! The cheese curds were the best we've had, loved the sauce and the added peppers! Of course the beer was just what we needed!

We had great appetizers (spinach and artichoke dip, Homemade Hummus and Olive Topinade, and a wedge salad). This place has a great vibe and we an awesome server in Natana. Very attentive and did not disappoint. We will definitely be back when we travel through Portland Airport!

Henry’s is the BEST!!! We build in extra time to our travel plans so we can visit Henry’s before we depart. Henry’s never disappoints and this particular morning flight was delayed so we were there for an extended period of time. Robert took excellent care of us. The breakfast menu is great - although I really miss the breakfast sandwich- I used to order it to go and eat it on the plane much to the envy of surrounding passengers! The salads on the lunch menu are fantastic! I’m looking forward to visiting Henry‘s next week when I fly out again!

We had a 3-4 hour layover in Portland, and chose this place for dinner before the long flight to Maui. It was packed! That suggested to us it would be a good choice. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was good solid bar food. Plenty of it too. It's a little pricey, but what airport restaurant isn't? Lots of good beer choices and the server suggested a nice Hefe that was superb. If you are hungry at PDX, I think this is the place.

We LOVE Henry's Tavern in the Pearl District but it's 3.5 hours from home. On a layover @ PDX we saw a sign for an airport location and walked as fast as our legs would take us between terminals to get there. A limited food menu but good choices. Many drink options but took the server's recommendation to try something I wouldn't have chosen on my own. If you like mint and a refreshing drink, get the Elderflower!! Hubby was happy with the beer selection. Food arrived quick and was hot. They were able to get us in and out as quickly as we needed to for our flight. If ever on a layover in PDX or near terminal C, don't miss this place!

This is an excellent restaurant in terminal C. The food is far better than most airport eateries and the waitstaff is friendly and efficient. An enjoyable experience, airport or not!

So many items and drinks to choose from it was really hard. Had a great server and food was brought to us in a very timely manner. Great atmosphere and would go back if in town.

Had a layover in Portland and wandered into Henry's Tavern - great beer selection and the food was OK - pub food. Tried the Boneyard brewery RPM beer which turned out to be an incredible IPA - highly recommend it!

Whenever we leave Portland we always have a bit to eat at this restaurant. Service is always fast and courteous. Food is good. Place is relaxing. An added feature is you get to see Air National Jet take off on the runway. They also make a great Bloody Mary.

Super busy, yet the food came out on time. I was surprised at how well the restaurant operated with every table full. Pay for the upgrade to blue cheese waffled fries, I probably would have had two orders if I had known how good they were. It's the best choice in PDX airport.

Had a loooong layover in Portland. Ate here on a whim and wow. Ended up being one of the best meals of our vacation. Had the cobb salad I believe it was, and a bowl of their chili. They did a great job. We practically licked our plates clean. Seriously do yourself a favor and eat here.

I'm not sure what I expected, but Henry's exceeded it. I ordered the Southwest Chicken salad and my daughter got the grilled caesar. Both were delicious. I was surprised at the quality of the salads and not disappointed at the size. What didn't surprise me was that it was our most expensive meal in Portland...that can be expected from airport food. I enjoyed a couple of glasses of chardonnay which was fairly priced and it helped me deal with the total of the bill!

Nice burgers and the Gorgonzola fries were great. Friendly service and fair prices for the area. Aly was very nice and efficient

We stopped in here for lunch before our flight, very nice pub style menu, good, tasty food. Friendly staff and a fully stocked bar

My first time with a connecting flight through Portland, OR (PDX). Inbound from Newark, we had 4 hours to kill before our connection to Vancouver, so first we walked the entire airport. Selected Henry’s Tavern based upon menu selections and windows overlooking one of the runways. I had the Cod and Chips which was delicious, light flaky white fish and well prepared fries. 3 people got burgers which they all enjoyed immensely with a subtle blend of flavors. The Mac and Cheese was declared “really good” and quite filling. Noise level was low and staff was very attentive and friendly. $75 for a family of 5, which seems reasonable compared to the equivalent fare at our home airport, Newark Liberty. Serving size was nicely generous.

Many choices of good beers and wines...semi-expensive, but typical of airport fare! Worth a sort of relaxing wait for your flight...long bar to the back of the restaurant so you can watch the planes. Kids are allowed on the left side. Many good food choices with salads, burgers, fish and chips, and soups.

Great service Amber! This place has been a mainstay for me for the last 5 years. Good food and great service. If you are in Terminal C stop by.

Solid appetizers and good well drinks whilst waiting for your flight at PDX. Pleasant staff and quick to serve if you are in a rush. We substituted the waffle fries for the regular and had the Gorgonzola cheese and sauce on the side. The hand dipped chicken fingers were great and were accompanied by some BBQ sauce and ranch dressing 4/5. For beverages we tried the Riesling and the Eastside Elderflower, both delicious 5/5. Thank you Julian for a good service and a nice snack and drinks before our flight.

Had not been to the Portland airport for some time. Stanford's is our favorite but it is always a pain to have to go back through security to board the plane. Henry's was a pleasant surprise. We liked the atmosphere and how the restaurant was set up. Particularly noticeable were the tables that would make singles feel comfortable. Service was very good and the pub food was quite good also. We will be back.

We went twice during our 3 day stay. For a city center restaurant it is excellent value for money. The food is very good. we had steaks, pizzas etc. Fast and friendly service. Happy hour drinks are great too

Got stuck in the Portland airport for about 4 hours and looked for someplace to linger over a meal. After surveying the choices, took a chance on this restaurant. Not packed but continually busy. The decor, seating and utensils were basic but serviceable....sort of what you might expect in a cafeteria. The menu selection was varied. Good selection of seafood. The food was inexpensive, our portions were large and very good. Our waitress, Liz, was excellent. Given the other choices we saw, glad we tried this Tavern. Should we get stuck in the airport again, we will go back.

Whenever I have a morning flight I always make sure I have a Bloody Mary so the trip is a little less stressful. These are quite good and enjoyable. They are right across from my gate so I know won't be late.

Stopped for a bite before our flight, seemed like we were a bother since we order only an appetizer, not a meal. Ranch dressing came with our order it was the worst I have ever had, extremely watered down with no flavor, the chicken strips were ok, fries were cold and hard. Probably will never go here again

We were so excited after seeing numerous little billboards showing this delicious looking egg and bacon sandwich. I ended up ordering the sandwich, a couple of chili and a Virgin Mary. My virgin Mary was good and the waiter was nice that’s all I can say about the experience there because my sandwich looks nothing like the brochures. You look at the picture and tell me what you think? One piece of bacon, really! I would NOT go back.

I had a 5-hour layover at PDX recently. With the whole afternoon to kill, I looked for a place to anchor for a couple of hours while relaxing over a meal and a drink. I made my way to the central atrium and perused the terminal maps. I hadn't been to PDX in many years, and I was pleased with the variety. Henry's hit a chord, as it was lunchtime, and I craved a burger. The greeter seated me within seconds against the back wall overlooking the Alaska Airlines ramp, bar-type seating, which has plug-ins and is tailored for the road warrior. My waiter arrived shortly thereafter. I explained I intended to dally for a couple of hours, and I would eventually work my way to a burger. He was fine with that. The place was busy but not slammed, and there was no pressure to turn the seat. "We'll get to know each other quite well, then," he joked. I started with a cider and hummus with veggies as an appetizer. The Garbanzo bean and tahini dip ($9.95) really popped with a flavorful oil and snappy red pepper with olive tapenade. Tortilla chips, too. Mix, dip, and enjoy! I thought it was the perfect accompaniment for a pilsner or my Portland Cider Co. HOP’RAGEOUS cider ($8 = 22 oz.). Eventually it was Burger Time. I was really tempted by the MAC & CHEESE BURGER: Mac & cheese, cheddar ale sauce, applewood smoked bacon, garlic mayo, lettuce, ripe tomato, onion, dill pickles ($14.95). In the end I opted for the BREWHOUSE CHEESEBURGER: sharp cheddar, whole grain mustard sauce, lettuce, ripe tomato, onions, dill pickles ($12.95). No other condiments added. I really wanted to taste the beef, which I asked to be done medium rare. (I usually ask for medium and use ketchup, but the beef flavor was key to my quest.) My real indulgence came with the Gorgonzola waffle fries for an extra $1.50. Soon the most perfectly done brioche arrived with a juicy, delicious, perfectly medium rare patty in between. The bun had a lightly crip top, golden brown, and was ample enough to hold the package without embarrassment. "Fresh" comes to mind on the first bite with quality meat. I hadn't had a burger this tasty in a long, long time. The Gorgonzola fries complemented the burger in an unbelievable way. The sauce was creamy with tiny chunks of cheese that didn't overwhelm the waffle fries and their special potato flavor. Two thumbs up! Service is very attentive without being too overwhelming. All staff are colorful and friendly in their own way. I couldn't ask for better. I had the space I needed for business yet enjoyed fantastic food and drink, which makes this place a total winner in my book.
Yes...at the airport
So, Portland's airport is really pretty cool with several good restaurants, wind tasting, and shops. We stopped across from our gate at Henry's. Many times airport restaurants are really expensive and poor quality. Henry's Tavern made very good drinks, large portion and pretty good food, all at a reasonable price. Also, our waitress Joanna was excellent! Very friendly with a big smile so our wait for our flight was kinda enjoyable. It's not really top of the line 4 star food but deserved the good rating.
