We just popped in here after the LOVE show at the Mirage and had such a deliciously delightful dining experience. Each person at our table ordered something different and we all sampled bites from each other’s plates and each entree was as good as the next. Exceptional drinks and desert and wait staff was on point! Will come back here next trip.

We had higher expectations for this steakhouse given the reviews. The service was good and restaurant very nice atmosphere. I had the skirt steak and it was good but not really worth $60. My husband had the strip steak but complained it was very fatty for a strip steak. We had truffle rosatto but could not taste any truffles and it was bland, Most surprising was the street corn which was again bland and watery. Even the jalapeño rolls were flavorless. However best part of dinner was the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. We had been to oscars in downtown and enjoyed it much better. Disappointed given what we had to pay for dinner.

Visited Heritage on October 1st for our post vow renewal meal. We were a party of 8 and booked via Mlife several months before. We also ordered a celebration cake from the hotel to be delivered to the restaurant. No complaints with the food, drink or service. Very good steak. Our cake was as requested and was brought out after we had eaten our mains. This is a pricey restaurant which we were aware of prior to booking. It was a little disappointing to be not offered a free drink,or aperitif or coffee etc, given the amount we spent. We are loyal to the MGM group but find that they don’t go out of their way to recognise this. Would eat here again, but I do wish that mgm loyalty was recognised better. Our bill was $1400!

I am a repeat customer (10+). I typically sit at the bar but have also dined in the restaurant on several occasions. Both provide outstanding service. I have had a variety of steaks. All are good but I particularly like the Wagyu skirt steak. I highly recommend if you are by yourself or with a group. My favorite steak house in Vegas!

Hate to give this 3 out of 5, but steak was not awesome. Mine was a tad over and wifes was under. But service was great.

Treated ourselves to a steak dinner and we weren't disappointed. We had the bone in rib eye and it was cooked perfectly. So delicious. We ordered two sides...the asparagus and the fingerling potatoes....the sides are large....we couldn't finish them. We also shared a salad....I mean, the salad itself could be a meal. While the food was delicious, the best part of the meal was the service. We had four or five people serving us and we cannot say enough about the quality of the service. All were so professional, so friendly, so helpful...never overbearing or intrusive. But my water glass was always filled, the wine glasses topped up, and all done with a smile. Somehow, we found room for a dessert...the caramel monkey bread....I wanted to pick the plate up afterwards and lick off the remaining sauce. Nice ending to a great meal.

Decided to stop in on a whim for dinner as the reviews looked good. The food was good, but tbh for the price there were a number of other restaurants in Las Vegas that we enjoyed more. The kids ordered a la carts and my wife and I shared a tasting menu - overall it was very earthy and heavy - would have been nice to have some lighter dishes.

Once we were seated it took several minutes before we were acknowledged. We finally got our drink order, slow service. Be ready to spend $60 plus for a steak and $13 for your potato. Two steaks, neither were cooked close to the way they were ordered. Staff couldn't have cared less about the issue. Save your money, don't go!

Stopped here to eat at the last night of staying at The Mirage. Ordered two salads and NY Strip and lobster tail. The lobster tail had to be sent back as it was cold. When the lobster returned it was better. Had to request drawn butter for the tail. The steak was cooked perfectly and had good flavor. It was not hot or sizzling temperature wise but I elected to not send it back. Service was attentive and professional. Ordered deserts since it was my birthday. Key Lime cheesecake was fantastic. Ice cream scoop with chocolate sauce was enjoyable. I’m not sure I would go back. We were seated out front but it was not explained there was a beautiful dining room behind the lush tropical plantings in the atrium that was beautiful. So I wish the hostess could have been more helpful.

We always visit at least one steakhouse when visiting a city so I speak from experience. We tried this one as a convenience as we were seeing a show at the Mirage The service was excellent but the food was not as good as it should have been for the price. I ordered the filet mignon-it was a bit tough and the wood fired flavor overwhelmed the taste of the beef. The biscuits were very good and sides were good but lacked enough pizzazz to make up for the disappointing entrees.

We recently celebrated my spouses birthday here. He says this place is a five so I rated it a five. I disagree thinking it is a three or four. He really likes this Chef on a show he watches. He had the aged ribeye and I had the filet. We had cocktails. His looked great. I made the mistake of saying not to have it red and ended up with well done. I should of just said medium. Before dinner he had beer cheese soup and I had a huge salad. Both appetizers we agreed were good. We had root vegetables as a side and mashed potatoes. Both good. The bread they give you is lackluster. We had the create your own ice cream sundae for dessert. We mentioned on the reservation it was a birthday and other reviewers I read received a free dessert. We didn’t. You think they could give you something when you’re spending $300+ for two people. Maybe because we ordered the sundae, who knows. I’m glad the spouse liked it. I thought the staff was kind and other than my steak being completely done, good enough. You’re paying for the celebrity chef and location I feel. Okay to do once.

We arrived at Heritage Steak without a reservation and were told that the dining room was booked. The hostess encouraged us to eat in the bar area which had tables available. Unfortunately due to an injury I am unable to sit at a high table so sitting in the bar area was not an option. We were told to wait a few minutes and when the hostess returned she graciously seated us in the main dining room at a very comfortable low table. Not only was the service excellent, but the food was delicious! We would highly recommend Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak. You will NOT be disappointed.

Four of us on business went there for dinner and it was excellent but a little expensive so be prepared. Steak was fantastic, scallops were to die for, bone marrow with a Jamieson shooter, seared salmon,... everything was over the top excellent but be prepared to pay (like all of the good places in the hotels). Well worth it as a special occasion place!

Very hard to review as I thought the service and food in the restaurant was excellent Particularly from the Sommelier/ Manager What ruined it was the arrogant, nonchalant and dismissive attitude of the Hostess. We arrived 1/2 hour early and she checked us in and then told us to come back at 8 When I asked if we could drink at the bar she just waved her hand to the area and said Sure. At 8.02 i got a text asking me to check back with the hostess .Unbelievable as I was 10 meters from her .Why couldnt she have found us? When led to our table we were told to bring our own drinks but as I could not carry a wine glass , Negroni and wine bucket I left the wine bucket .The waiter only brought the wine bottle and just plonked it on the table. The Sommelier/Manager saw that and rushed to get the bucket Then the hostess appeared and told us we would have to settle our bar bill. I asked if it could be put onto our restaurant tab to which she replied no .Luckily the Manager/Sommelier was nearby and saw my frustration and dealt with the situation professionally So my dilemma is having to review a restaurant with great food ,Great restaurant service but the worst Hostessing I have ever experienced I tipped 20% reluctantly as I new the Hostess would get some of it

I have visited here and her sister restaurant several times over the years. I have always been impressed with the service, quality of meals and the overall experience. NOT this time. There was a mistake with the reservation and requests. Not something to do with a party of 18. The waitstaff and the GM were helpful, the floor manager not so much. Overall, the restuarant is still beautiful and well appointed. The main issue though is the meal. 3 of the 18 meals were cooked incorrectly. When we brought it to the staffs attention they took it back to replace it. When the new steaks came back they were incorrect again. The cut I ordered was OK. Cooked to the correct temperature, but for a prime cut of beef it was disappointing. I did sample my wife filet and it was everything I would expect. Overall the group was disappointed with the steaks 12 of 18. The sides were of the quality you would expect and served to highlight the discrepancy between steaks and sides. We cam for the meats not the sides. We will most likely not be returning to this establishment, opting for the sister restaurant. Hopefully they are not.also having a "bad" day.

The food was fantastic! The rib eye steak and chicken was really good and the portions are huge! The cocktails were also delicious! Pricey but the best rib eye you’ll ever have!

Amidst the lunacy on the casino floor at the Mirage is Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak restaurant. Initially I was dubious until we were led through to our table in what is a secluded area for diners - an oasis of calm. Service was excellent and we enjoyed a simple meal which, as is evident in the title, revolves around meat. You can find vegetarian dishes on the menu but that rather defeats the object of going to a steak restaurant. The food is cooked on charcoal in an open kitchen at the rear of the restaurant. Eye wateringly expensive, but good.

We ate at the Heritage prior to attending the fantastic Beatle's LOVE extravaganza. Highly disappointed at quality of the NY strip steak. We actually returned one of the over cooked, dry steaks. We waiter was excellent, but the food was extremely over priced, especially given the marginal quality. The mashed potatos & mushroom sides were OK.

Came here for a meal with my parents before the Cirque de Soleil show Love . Never been before but have to say the setting and design was excellent. Friendly staff , professional and not over bearing Shared the sea food platter as a starter which was magnificent Filet mignonette absolutely perfect Can’t fault it - all that and fraught beer too Would I go back ? Absolutely

Excellent steak and sides. Excellent service once at the table. Servers were wonderful. Taking off a point because the 2 girls working the hostess stand on arrival were not welcoming, nor did they seat people who arrived for a 5p seating in order of arrival. My friend and I were first to arrive for 5p seating and yet we were the last seated. And the atmosphere of the place was OK, but nothing memorable or up to par with other restaurants at this price point I dined at while in Vegas.

Food is the best thing to find out in Vegas. I know is a steak restaurant but believe me the other options are amazing. Don’t lose the best onion rings that you can taste in your life or the creamy spinach as additional and as fish please taste the tartare and the octopus. This is one of the best that I test in America.

We had a phenomenal time here. Our dinner was excellent. James was friendly and knowledgeable and helped to make the experience what it was. We had put in the reservation notes that we were celebrating an anniversary (actually both couples were celebrating) so when it was time for dessert, we requested a menu and instead he brought out two separate and amazing desserts. What a nice surprise! Our meals were incredible and the food is top notch quality. Portions are also quite generous. I would highly recommend a meal here.

Heritage is a wonderful blend of tastes backed by exceptional service in the heart of the Mirage. We’ve eaten happily there many times over the years and then boom! It got a even better. Try the BONE-IN SHORT-RIB. One our our favorite dishes ever (see the pic).

Excellent! Steak and fish were delicious. Sides fantastic. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended. Try the potato purée!

While it might be a little over-priced, even for Vegas, the steaks were extremely good. I also ordered the mashed potatoes... they were pureed...a little too much for my tasting.. almost liquified. My girlfriend got a baked potato and it was done to perfection. We topped it off with a chocolate slice if cake which was awesome. Overall, I'm sure we'll revisit this one again! I'd give it 4.5 stars overall.

The staff were wonderfully attentive, charming, and the food delicious. From shrimp appetizers to salmon entree to cheesecake dessert - everything was wonderfully prepared. A nice, quiet area in the midst of a busy casino.

I have stayed at The Mirage about 6 times and things are a little different. The first thing I noticed was that they have a minimal staff working and the wait was not great. I noticed that 2 tables had not been cleared so I asked to speak with the manager. He came out and was very polite and I said that for $$$$ you expect a certain level of service. He was nice and went and cleared the tables so we could sit down. The server I believe was Ashley and was very nice. I could sense that she was overworked because servers have been laid of. I ordered the Skirt Steak Medium with Asparagus and it arrived with cream potatoes. They let them stay at no charge and brought out the Asparagus a few minutes later. The steak was very nice but if I was critical I would say it was a fraction over medium. It was just a steak on a plate with zero garnish that was folded in half because it would not fit on the plate otherwise. I think a better size plate could have been used to present the meal. The cream potatoes were ok but seeing as I did not order them I think that's all I can say. The asparagus were long and had some cheese on them and a lot of butter. I like my vegetables a little less cooked and I expected better. I had read that serving times were slow but ours seemed pretty good to me. I think that times are difficult so we all may have to expect a different level of service for the time being. I have stayed at the mirage a few times (and without sounding like a snob) I saw people on the property I would not expect to see. Lowering the cost of stay will attract a different level of clientele.

Not sure where to start! The steaks were ok, nothing special, that’s about the only positive of the evening. I have a dairy intolerance which I notified the restaurant when I booked and was told it would easily be accommodated. However it was obvious this information hadn’t been passed on so I had to explain to the waiter who appeared to understand. We ordered our steaks and asked for suggestions for sides, he recommended sweet corn and potato purée. I checked with him that the potato was dairy free, no it wasn’t neither was the sweet corn! So we decided on fries, carrots. We wanted wine so the sommelier came over, as some wines use dairy as a clearing agent I also have to be cautious on my wine choice. On asking for suggestions I was told that egg products are sometimes used for clearing wine but not dairy, i beg to differ, your sommelier needs more training. It was a bad start but we’d managed to order a dairy free meal. The food was brought to the table but not my steak, I wrongly assumed this was coming along separately. After a few minutes of waiting with the food going cold I tried to catch someone’s attention. The outcome being my steak arrived 15 mins after rest of the food which the waiter hadn’t ordered, it appears dealing with dietary needs is too confusing. The manager took the price of my steak off the bill but for a meal that still cost over $200, what should have been a special night was ruined. Dealing with special dietary needs shouldn’t be so difficult.

I booked Heritage Steak for my birthday dinner. We had 4 adults. The restaurant was deceiving as far as size, until you reach the back...just beautiful, with awesome ambience! Anthony was our terrific server, he was enthusiastic, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks he served! It was a lovely birthday experience.

We ate here prior to a Beatles Love show. Our server, (Sue I think) was friendly and attentive. I ordered the French onion soup and Prime Rib and my wife ordered the shrimp cocktail and filet mignon. The inion soup was thin and flavorless and the shrimp were tough enough to use a knife. Next came the prime rib and filet. Both ordered medium and both came out rare or Pittsburgh rare. The filet was sent back and came out rare the second time. We don't give restaurants a third shot. This and the owners other restaurant CraftSteak need help. They wouldn't survive in the real world outside of a tourist city. The manager comped the steak that we didn't eat but we left without dinner. Don't waste your time and money here. If you are a steak person, Prime, STK, and others are good.

Always awesome as usual! What else would you expect from the judge of the chefs! Always delivers! Money well spent! Be sure to try the creme brûlée and the chocolate cake!

My husband and I had dinner last night and it was simply incredible! We had the wagyu skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, potato purée, and onion rings - all were truly amazing. The potato purée is the best I've ever had in my life. Also, the bread is out of this world, so good. Our waiter was great and the service was excellent. Thank you for a perfect dining experience!

Best steak Ive had in a long time My father also agreed The food was perfectly cooked Hot steaming the way I like it

Great food and service was very good. Of course it is Las Vegas so pricey but you will not be disappointed. Enjoy

The server I had seemed to ignore me after he took my order and spent more time a tables with more people and young girls. The Filet Mignon was so thin and dry. It wasn't up to the standards of Prime at the Bellagio or SW at the Wynn. I don't know why I bothered leaving a tip.

Sat at the bar before a show. Service was excellent. I opted for a Wagyu choice as I have the standard steaks all the time. The choices were lame so the bartender recommended the Wagyu skirt steak. It has a spicy coating, but was not worth the money nor the taste. Chewy to say the least, not tender but I guess I knew that ahead of time. I prefer the better cuts of Wagyu that they do not have here. Lobster salad was good, Wedge salad was excellent. They had Angel's Envy Bourbon which is my favorite. Really surprised as it is hard to get. My bill was $130.05 not including tip. I will try a different place next time at Mirage.

The food was very expensive and totally normal. Nothing special. The medium well done Mignon Filet was over cooked and was served with the butterfly cut; that is used for well done meat. I like to eat delicious food and this was not the case. The food was a disappointment.

Wow! Just wow! Amazing service amazing food amazing atmosphere! The food is beyond expectations! Can’t wait to go again!

We ate dinner here before the LOVE show and the service and food were excellent. It is very pricey but it was the best filet ($55) we have had (and we had many). We also had a Caesar salad ($16) and potato ($12). Everything was great, just really expensive.

My wife's ribeye tasted better than my filet but would take either one. Excellent steaks! My creamed spinach was great and spicy onion rings too. Great wine selection. Our server was excellent and other staff as well. We'll run organization with quality food and Service at ifs best. Is there a reason he hosts a show top chef? The answer I add No, he proves it and lives up to it!

I have to admit this is not my favorite place to dine at the Mirage. But my husband likes it so I usually give in. This time it was very good. It was our last night in Vegas, so I was beyond stuffed with ALL the food we had eaten, so I did try to eat light...Crab cake appetizer and salad was my dinner, but my husband got a huge steak and offered me half so I was over stuffed. Steak was excellent. Our server was great. We had a reservation but it took awhile to get us seated due to some large party the hostess kept taking people back to seat them and we were left standing. Finally she sat us. All in all a very good meal.

This isn't really meant to be critical, simply informative. We wanted to try this restaurant because of watching Top Chef. First, the service was excellent, from the bartender to our servers. Our original server was very friendly and explained everything in great detail. My wife and I ordered a Shellfish Tower and split a filet. The food was very good and was prepared as ordered. It arrived in a timely manner. The restaurant is clean and attractive. The only comment that I have is that we didn't find the meal to be better than meals we've eaten at other restaurants for probably half the price. We knew going in that is was $$$$...just expected to be a little more blown-away.

We always eat at Heritage Steakhouse. The food has always been very good. Steaks are especially tasty!!

Fantastic feast of perfect meats! Lobster salad is a sin! You can't have enough! Lives up to the reputation of its creator! Definitely must try if you are a steak lover!

We visited this restaurant before a show. Service was spot on. We were greeted by the hostess who was very chatty and nice. We loved our seat. Once the menu came my husband and I decided we were too full from lunch for steak so we ordered shrimp cocktail Alaskan king crab legs and some sides. The waitress was very accommodating even tho I kno we didn’t order a big meal for dinner she was lovely. I would definitely come here again and make sure I brought my appetite.

Had high expectations give the reputation of the chef. But the experience was severely lacking. We both chose the new York strip and ordered medium rare. The steaks were both medium+. Still moist, but not what we ordered. We also ordered the side of asparagus. They were not trimmed or peeled. Had to spit out many bites. (Really?) The support waiters were great with water and bread and accompaniments. But our head waiter was more interested in the three young girls at an adjacent table. Took 10 minutes before he even acknowledged us and his first comment was"I hope you don't have as many questions as the last table". I was embarrassed for him (Anthony). This restaurant wants to be 5 star, but struggles to be 3 star. So not worth the price. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know to avoid. There are so many other good choices that are less expensive and a better experience.

A long time fan of Top Chef and Colicchio, I was excited to stop by Heritage in conjunction with another event at the Mirage. Went with my teen daughter. We loved it. Everything down to the simple house salad and dinner rolls was delicious. Friendly, chatty, non-pretentious waiters and a great atmosphere. As the Mirage turns over to the Hard Rock Hotel, I hope they don't lose this gem!

I dined here with my parents on our last night of our Vegas Vacation. Lovely setting in the middle of the Mirage Casino, we enjoyed our cocktails followed by a great diner. The steaks were done perfectly to order, side orders were large enough to share - we enjoyed our attentive servers.

Had a great meal with the guys. Susan the waitress was excellent After the bar ran out of blue cheese olives She actually made them for us Kenny Frankie and i had the. Strip steak First it came out undercooked but it was excellent after Paulie had the filet Also great Had the tower desert. Crab legs to start Funny night

This is our third visit to Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak and we love it. We have ordered the same thing all three times because it is SO good. We order the large ribeye and split it. They were more than happy to split the steak and bring it out on separate plates. The service was great and the food was delicious.

I went to go see Love @ Mirage, had some time to kill and was hungry. I went and had dinner at Tom Colicchios Heritage steak, best decision of the night. Started off with the lobster salad which was delicious. For the second course I had the 16oz Ribeye which paired perfectly with my Walla Walla Amazi vino. Everything was perfect and the show was worth the wait.

The ambiance is what you would expect from a steakhouse and the service matched. Waiters were attentive and informed, the service was great. The food was prepared perfectly and the serving sizes were large. Overall had a great meal.

Three stars, eh? One for our waiter, one for the bartender that entertained us for 45 minutes before the hostess would seat us, half a star for the sides and half a star for the fact that we were able to get a last-minute reservation for our group of 9 during CES. To say I was underwhelmed by the food would be putting it lightly. The best things were the shared sides that floated around the table, and even those weren't mind-blowing. I started with the French Onion soup, which was a last-minute add, due to peer pressure (everyone at the table had ordered a starter, so I felt compelled to do the same). If you've read any of my reviews, you'd know I'm a soup fiend, and that French Onion is one of my all-time favorites. This restaurant's version seemed to think that flavor equals loads of salt. It was like being in Munich all over again. For my main, I went with the Prime Rib, cooked medium rare. The meat came with a popover (which the girls at my end of the table were endlessly fascinated by - I lost track of the number of times I had to explain what exactly that thing was...) and a side of both a creamy horseradish sauce and their version of an au jus. (I say "their version" because the au jus was thick and a bit bland.) The steak was perfectly cooked, and the cut was overly generous. The flavor of the meat, though, left a lot to be desired. It was dry on its own, and the proffered sauces didn't do much to help it in any way. The other end of the table took care of ordering the family sides, which ended up being the creamed spinach with lobster, the truffle risotto with lobster, the mashed potatoes - you guessed it - with lobster, and the roasted root vegetables. The vegetables and creamed spinach were delicious (though I purposely avoided the lobster in the spinach). Those dishes were where all the flavor of the other meals was hiding! The root vegetable plate was pretty much stolen by myself and a colleague, and we ended up fighting over who got the last spoonful (I say that in jest; I gave her the rest of the veggies because she'd had a really rough day.) The other sides were good, and very, *very* rich - even without the lobster! I guess I'd been expecting too much for a Colicchio restaurant, having dined at - and loved - another one in the past. It did help that we had an excellent waiter and very good company at the table, but I had high hopes for the meat and ended up walking away more than a little disappointed.

Came here for dinner. Had the crab cake, filet mignon and risotto. Staff was very nice but not overbearing. The crab cake was very generous. The steak was pretty plain and the risotto wasn’t quite cooked through. I give them a four because they had quick service and were very friendly.

Had dinner here our last night in Vegas and the food and service did not disapoint. The service was fantastic as was the food. I had the filet mignon with a Maytag Bluse Cheese crust and the onion soup. My wife and our freind shared a steak and the scallop entree. They were all fantastic. We have dinner here ever time we are at at the Mirage and always look forward to a great dinner.

A nice place to get a steak. Nice cut of meat, cooked on a wood fire grill. Great service. Food was great. Prices were ok. Wine list was a little pricey, but it is what it is.

Oh the dishes were super delicious and the portions was great the sides were even better every thing was on point and the service was good too just take your loved ones and dine in this great steak house though it’s pricey and the pricy dishes were the best lol

One of the best rib eyes I have ever had…anywhere…it simply melted in my mouth…service was awesome…price was steep but worth every penny

I joined a group of 13 friends here for a birthday dinner. Waiter James is great, he laid out the whole menu and assisted in speedy service to allow us to see our show on time. Started with a couple seafood towers, Which was great but not crazy for cold seafood. My main was the 10oz Filet, which was amazing. The wood grill really puts a great spin on a grilled steak. The risotto is a must as your side. Apple something for desert which was a great way to finish the meal.

This experience was much better than expected. The food was great, onion rings!, truffle risotto!, and wood fired rib eyes. We had to share one because they were so huge! And on top of that, our server was perfect - friendly, approachable, professional, always around when we needed him and gone the rest of the time. Highest recommendation!

The service was impeccable, our steaks were very nicely done and the ambience was perfect. Our waiter was even too kind to listen to my poor spanish. We loved the place.

Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Decor & Style: 5/5 It was worth the high price. We all ordered something different and pretty much went "family style". My favorite was the braised beef, excellent. My second favorite would be the Black Angus Hanger. The portions are huge so I recommend NOT ordering any appetizers. All 6 of us had to take some kind of leftover to-go!

We stopped by at 1700hrs as they were opening. Ceaser was our server but the whole staff was just fabulous. The food was prepared to perfection. The whole visit was a 10 from start to finish. If you need to ask how much it was dont go.

My wife and I are fans of Colicchio, a down to earth good guy from New Jersey. So, when we had only one full day and night at The Mirage, we preceded the Beatles-Love Show with dinner at Heritage. Pre-reservation drinks at the bar were plentiful and reasonably priced for a casino restaurant. Bartender was excellent. The dining area is away from the hustle and bustle of the casino floor - which adds to the ambience of a good room. Great staff tended to our needs and the food - well, Colicchio rarely disappoints. Make a reservation and stop in. This is a great experience!

Expensive fine dining in the middle of Caesar's front walkway. I had high expectations for this steakhouse. Steak was very good, however not life altering. The one thing that was excellent was the charred Octopus. Not since Santorinin have I had such a tasty delicacy. Servers were nice. Convenient to Cirque Do Soleil Beatles Love.

Our party of 3 had a very nice meal here. The waiter, Anthony, was a big part of that and is responsible for the 5 stars vs 4 just based on the food. The steaks were good as was the salad. The side were good, not FAB. Drinks here were awesome and the desserts too. Highly recommend the restaurant and if your lucky and get a wonderful waiter. Ambiance is lovely under the dome in the Mirage.

One of my favorite Steak restaurant in Vegas. The ribeye steak and a rack of lamb is a must try. Bring credit cards its $$$$ but worth it!

This restaurant was fabulous. It had a nice atmosphere that was relaxing and upscale. The food was spectacular. Everything was made with extra care. I also loved the service. We always had what we needed throughout our meal.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner before going to a show. My Rib eye was cooked to perfection as was my wife's filet. The menu is ala carte. We split a salad and a veggie with our dinner. Nothing is cheap in Vegas, but the quality was excellent. Our waiter was very informative and made great recommendations. Service was prompt which was important since we needed to grab a taxi to another hotel to see a show. I recommend this restaurant.

We went there for dinner with a group. We had reservations, but could not accommodate all of us at one time. The food was fantastic. Everything was ala carte. The sides came out family style. I had a filet and was cooked to perfection. It was too large though. There was only one size and it was 10oz. 6oz would have been enough. No option. The staff was friendly and polite. Very professional. I did not like the idea we were right by the walkway to go outside. They need to make it more private and quiet. Very pricy.

This is a very upscale steakhouse. We were 3 people enjoying a fabulous dinner with super service. We shared tender rack of lamb and a ribeye steak, creamed spinach, string beans and baked potato. We also had a Caesar salad. Everything was made to perfection. There were very few people dining when we were there. It was intimate and memorable. Decor was classy. So glad I had the opportunity to eat here in a Tom Colicchio restaurant.

We had never eaten at MGM Grand, and this place was recommended to us. They had a three course special which was absolutely terrific. Each course had two dishes. Appetizers were a creamy lobster bisque, and a wonderful and unique salad. Main courses were steak, with both filet mignon and ribeye, and lobster. Steaks were so tender and flavorful and done perfectly. The lobster was in a delicious buttery sauce and was very tender. The desserts were creme brûlée and ice cream with monkey bread. We had virtually no complaints about any of the courses. They were all absolutely terrific !! We both felt that this was one of our best meals ever. Period. The staff was very friendly and efficient, and overall service was excellent. The manager, James Clare, was so friendly, and seemed to be everywhere to make certain that everything went smoothly. We will be back again soon.

Had the bone-in ribeye ($63) and a salad ($16). Both were good but not worth $$$. Service was good but no tablecloth. Wouldn’t consider this fine dining, you can do better and save yourself some money!

I really enjoyed our meal here. It was expensive - dishes are around 60 dollars for the main course and you need to order sides. Wine from 70 dollars a bottle but you can buy by the glass. However, the food was stunning. The meat was cooked perfectly. I had the seafood tower which was stunning. The whole staff were friendly, gave good advice and made us feel like we were regular guests. They gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary (which had Happy Anniversary written in chocolate around the edge). This was a wonderful cheesecake concoction with caramelised banana and pecans - a really lovely gesture. I would certainly go back there again.

Though on the high side for us, we decided to splurge and have a family night out for a fancy dinner while in Vegas. We chose this restaurant since we were staying at the Mirage and the restaurant was centrally located and just a short walk from the guest elevators. What a great choice. We were not disappointed with the great service, incredible food and a fabulous wine selection with a generous price range. The Seafood Tower was to die for, the bread puffs delicious and the meats were cooked to perfection. Sides are ala carte but also worth the cost. All in all a great night of worth the price food. Great atmosphere as well.

The food here was amazing !! The stake that I had was really good and the dessert was yummy yummy! I will come back!

We go to Vegas a couple weeks a year. We always try a few new restaurants and always hit the ones we've found are excellent. Heritage is always on our list. On this visit, the menu had changed some as the restaurant was getting back to normal after the lockdowns from the Governor. They added a bone-in filet mignon. HANDS DOWN, THE BEST STEAK I'VE EVER HAD! This was a recommendation from Caesar, our awesome waiter. Additionally, the chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake were amazing as well. We enjoyed the meal so much that we cancelled our 7 pm Friday reservation at the so called #1 restaurant in Vegas to go back and visit Caesar and Heritage. This is a MUST if you love fine dining and excellent service. Tell Caesar his Tallahassee friends said hello!

What a great restaurant!! The service, wine and of course the steak was unbelievable! Even the pricing was reasonable.

It just doesn't get much better than my experience at Heritage, eating solo in their bar area (with no wait even on a busy Saturday night). Service by Lindsay (sp?) was outstanding. So friendly and helpful. I started with a delicious Iceberg Wedge salad, loaded with crisp applewood bacon pieces and wonderful fresh bleu cheese crumbles. The dressing was just right, and flavors fantastic. I followed that salad with the 8oz Filet Mignon, absolutely perfectly cooked medium -- a nice hot pinkish red center, and a side of tasty roasted designer mushrooms (easily enough for 3 persons even though I was eating alone). Great taste with the filet. It's a plus that they have a wine list which includes a nice selection of high quality half-bottles, although typically Las Vegas pricey. But since I had some money to burn, I totally enjoyed a lovely Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, which paired beautifully with the steak. I look forward to returning to Heritage for another great meal.

Eye-wateringly expensive but the steak and sides were amazing!! Steak was one of the best I’ve had. If you’re feeling flush it’s definitely worth a go

This has been a "must" stop on numerous trips to Vegas.....not this time. I have historically given Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak glowing reviews and have personally recommended to numerous people.....not any more. I ordered prime rib and it was very dry and only slightly warm. It appeared that it was left over from last night....not what I would expect from this establishment. I ate at the bar. It was not crowded. The bartender spent his whole time talking to a couple at the end of the bar. He did not check on me until my dinner was almost finished and then did not seem to care about the experience. Not sure I will be back.

Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak House was thee biggest disappointment in my life just short of Anchorman II. Top prices for unseasoned / overcooked prime rib and ribeye is not the way to enjoy what should be the best meal on the strip. However, the service was impeccable, absolutely the best to include a very friendly and knowledgeable sommelier.

I've eaten 2x at Colicchio's Craftsteak at the MGM Grand, and had fabulous meals there on both occasions. So my expectations were equally high for Heritage Steak, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. I went with a group of 10, and while my ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the steak quality across the group was wildly varied. 4 of my guests had the $280 tomahawk wagyu, and it was cooked everywhere from barely medium rare to well done - no consistency, and underwhelming in taste for a wagyu steak. Two of our party had filet mignon - one was dry, the other was bleeding - and both ordered it medium rare. Service was solid but not exceptional; took a little bit to get going but attentive thereafter. The grilled peaches and burrata appetizer was excellent, as was the wine selection. But given the steaks were the most expensive part of the meal - it was still disappointing overall. And - as noted in the title of my review - Tom Colicchio was actually there, and paying decent attention to the kitchen. I never expect the namesake of these celebrity restaurants to be there, so to both see him, and see him involved, made the output more disappointing than it likely would have been if he wasn't there. To his credit, we had 2 huge fans of him in our group, and he let them take a photo with him - so good on him for that!

Ate here for dinner after the Shin Lim show. I thought every dish was fantastic. The house bread with butter were great starters, the onion soup had a ton of cheese and it was not as salty as other places I've had. The crab cakes was cooked perfectly added the lime for that extra sourness or you can do without. Wow wow wow the mashed potatoes with lobster was just divine. The warm flavors going down just hugged my soul as I ate it I promise! the flavors were great together this simple dish was just the best!! Honestly I could eat a pot full my favorite for sure!! Then finally ordered the bone in ribeye steak medium well. My goodness this steak was just of great quality I mean this just melted in my mouth it was delicious though I just had to cutout a tiny bit of the soft tendon parts. The staff and wait service were so nice and very attentive. I'm glad I ate here to end my awesome first day in LV.

We have mixed thoughts on our time here. Ashley our server was wonderful. The seafood tower was outstanding and included Oysters, Crab Legs, Lobster, Prawns and the most delicious sauces. Highly recommended. The entrees were a miss, though. The Prime Rib was tough, Steak had little flavor and Lamb Shank just ok. It could have been an off night so we will possibly return.

First time at The Mirage, and first time at Heritage. Booking was easy, no dress code, so my shorts were fine. Greeting was prompt and professional, the table was well positioned, and greeter at the table was swift. The menu is typical of a steakhouse, very little is re-invented here. One sore point - could not get fresh steamed spinach unadulterated with garlic or other additions. Rib steak was typical - good but way overpriced, but this is a Las Vegas steakhouse after all. Steak fries were perfectly good as well. Did not have dessert so can't comment, but the wine list was pretty fair, both in breadth and pricing. Service was solid from front to back, the only comment I can make is that the pace is typically turbo-americana, so if you would like to slow it down, tell your server!

Ate at the one in MGM. Christmas dinner. Food was delicious and ridiculously pricey, but worth it. Steaks were mouthwatering. They utilize several servers/presenters, all whom were quite knowledgably. If you want a great dinner, eat here.

I think prices are a tad lower than many other steak houses in vegas. needed a steak, lol and we were there. It was a wed and they took us right away. Tropical atmosphere. We had a NY strip and a lobster tail to share. A french onion soup and and wedge salad and baked potato. Service was top notch always someone filling water glass clearing table, etc. Non stop!. Steak was very very good best I ever had no but pretty close. Lobster tail ok not the best ever but ok. Onion soup great salad great potato big enough for 3 people. It was spur of the moment you can go casual, its very dark and open and I enjoyed it very much and would go back next trip!

We love this steakhouse, one of our favorite Vegas Steakhouses! The steak was excellent and cooked exactly how we ordered it. The Shrimp Cocktail was great, we loved the cocktail sauce. Our servers were very friendly and attentive. We were happy to see asparagus back on the menu. The chocolate brownie dessert delicious, a must try for chocolate lovers!

We were a group of 7. A few of the group had been here before but this was our first time. The others in our group shared the Tomahawk and a few sides. We ordered French Onion Soup, Half Chicken, and the Prime Rib. The soup was good, but the chicken was very plain and not too favourable. The Prime Rib was disappointing, it wasn’t as juicy as I expected it. Considering this is a steak house and likely considered fine dining it's not what I expected. It was not bad, but I have had better at another place for half the cost.

We know better than to dine in a hotel steakhouse but it was late and cold outside. We started to leave because of the cost but decided to stay and split a rib eye and baked potato. The steak was nothing to brag about and definitely not worth $65. With a couple of sides, and no drinks the tab with tip was $100. Try the deli instead.

My wife and I enjoyed a very memorable meal here! Exceptional service, beautiful location. Food was great from appetizers through dessert. Especially great was the lamb & steak. Highly recommend!

Heritage steak was not our first choice but because we were seeing a show at the Mirage we thought we would give it a try. Do not let the Yelp score of 3.5 turn you away. I think there is a little bit of confusion regarding that rating. I believe that the restaurant is split into two sections with the first being what you see when you walk around the casino and where we ate dinner, which was behind the bar and had a completely different feel than what we initially saw. If you ate by where hundreds of people are walking by I can see why you would not score this restaurant very high... Now let's get to the food, Exceptional. Our server was great, everyone else supporting him was great and the food exceeded expectations. For a steakhouse on the strip I thought the prices were reasonable and the portions were large. Oh yea, and that seafood tower for 2 is a decent size so unless you have 6 in your group no need to expand to the larger size. Overall this restaurant was so much better than its yelp score due to the restaurant being split the way it is. Come for dinner and eat in the back, you will not find a better deal on the strip in terms of a steak house.

New York strip, filet Mignon and duck all excellent. Tiny gripe, I asked for medium but got well done. Was still delicious though. Mash, peas, mushrooms and peppercorn sauce all great too. Wine was expensive. Overall a great meal. The server was friendly and made sensible suggestions with regards the portion sizes. I wouldn't describe the experience as fine dining as we were seated at a table near the bar, which was pretty noisy due to the placing of speakers. If you're looking for a great steak, I would definitely recommend but book in advance so that you get a better placed table.

Tom Colicchio is a celebrity chef but he clearly has high standards and expectations so it was a bucket list place for us to eat. The food was wonderful. The service was impeccable. The prices are high and not for the faint of heart. So worth it for a special occasion. Can’t do it often but glad we did it.

We had an excellent meal here with very good service! The meat was fantastic and cooked exactly how we requested it. The restaurant itself looks very good too. Our only complaint was that they didn't have asparagus on the menu - which we consider to be a standard staple for any high end steakhouse.

If you want to enjoy a great steak do not go here. I would rate the steak equal to an outback fillet. I do have to say that the short rib was amazing and that is what I got. However we were in a group and all other items were just ok.

Service was spotty. Our salads, ordered as second course, we delivered before our appetizers so we sent them back. The clams casino looked and tasted like they were frozen. The octopus was so dry it was barely edible. The Caesar was good with nice anchovies. The green salad was not balanced. All 3 of our proteins (rib eye, filet, lamb chops) were excellent. The potatoes common. Our waiter was knowledgeable but never present when the food was served. It certainly was not worth the price. My Chardonnay was served in a diner type glass. The others had red wine in nice goblets. The coffee was weak. Don’t waste your money as there are so many other options.

This is Tom Colicchio's (of "Top Chef fame) restaurant in the atrium of the Mirage. We ate here before seeing Boyz ll Men. The restaurant is interesting in its set up, as it is open air within the casino. There's lots of seating options: a front bar area and a more formal dining room. Service was top notch and the food was delicious. We had pork belly, french onion soup, potatoes, caesar salad, and drinks. I loved all of the food, sans the caesar salad--I wasn't a fan of the crouton "crumble." The price point seemed normal for Vegas on the strip. Overall, the best dining option at the Mirage.

Had the bone in ribeye with brown ale drink. Steak fast juicy and done to medium rare perfection, though the outer were a bit burned to my liking. Not sure if this is the trend as this is the second restaurant with similar burned steak. Sides of creamed spinach and onion rings were delicious.

We were visiting The Mirage for a show and decided to eat here. The service and food are incredible. We recommend the crab cake for appetizer. It was packed with crab meat and tasty. We had a filet and new york strip and the were cooked to perfection. Our server (and helpers) were super friendly, helpful and our drinks were never empty and refilled quickly. We would recommend this place to anyone.

If I'm comparing Heritage Steak to other steak restaurants I visited while in Las Vegas, I would have to say that it's definitely not the BEST steak in Vegas. But, if I'm rating it based on my enjoyment of it, on its own, it was a good steak and I enjoyed it, which is why I am giving it a 4. There were a lot of things about my experience that made it better than average. We ordered at the restaurant so we could take it back to our room (due to COVID and social distancing). The bartender who took our order was very friendly, which made it a nice experience. We had a drink while we were waiting, which was also very good. The steak was good and I did enjoy it. As I also enjoyed the potato puree. Again, if I'm comparing it to others I had in Las Vegas, it didn't compare, but if I'm comparing it to your normal run of the mill steakhouse, it was, hands down, better than average and well worth trying. If I had to name my favorite part of the meal that made it stand out... the cheesecake. I would eat that every day, if I could. All in all, it was a good experience and the food was good. Convenient location inside the Mirage and friendly service. I definitely recommend giving it a try.

Thank goodness we had a early reservation because after making a reservation online and calling to confirm and receiving an email confirmation, they had no reservation for us. The floor manager seated us promptly but it was just the idea since I expected a little something special at the table and the table we sat at was nothing special at all. Next to the walkway and one seat with our back to the dining room and kitchen. However, our waiter was fantastic and the food was out of this world. The portions are big even though we shared the sides. I had the short ribs and my husband had the rib eye. The atmosphere was not rushed and the service was excellent.

From the moment I was seated until I reluctantly headed for the exit, I enjoyed amazingly well coordinated and professional service from all of the staff. Truly a first class experience, and the wood fired steaks are of course the highlight of the meal. Cooked perfectly, tender and tasty! I will definitely return on my next visit.

For our last night in the USA we had to have one last steak and we chose this restaurant because we were going to a show later at The Mirage (Beatles Love). We booked at 7.15 which was perfect for 9.30 performance- appetisers but no dessert! Food was great - steaks cooked perfectly to our order. Service attentive. Wine list extensive with good by the glass choices.

(I cut and pasted this from a review I left on another site) The food and drink we received was very good, however, the service was truly an extraordinary experience. Hands-down, Mr. Kim (skillfully leading his service team) was a sight to behold. Starting off, his recitation of the menu and how items were made was that of a ”true-culinarian” with intimate knowledge of the food and it’s preparation. Throughout the night our 6-top table wanted for nothing and I have to admit that we probably spent more than we wanted to spend on the meal. This was partially due to Mr. Kim’s dedication to his craft, to detail and his excellent people skills. The man has heart. If you are feeling like having a great steak in a Las Vegas restaurant, look no further than Heritage. The next time I go to Heritage, I will only have Mr Kim waiting on me -he’s by-far given me the best service I have EVER received (which is saying a lot, as I am a chef who used to cook in Michelin 3-star restaurants in NYC & France).

This is a beautiful place with high quality food and service. Ask for Anthony he will back your meal even more memorable. The buns and beef zerkie is a fantastic start. I took my left overs home and I am still enjoying them. I had the fillet. It was perfect. Cooked to a prefect medium rare and not over seasoned. Oh and the mashed potato’s are one of a kind. The onion rings my husband ordered where a bit spicy but how’s complaining. I hope to go back very soon

The ambiance, staff, and food were exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed the Alaskan crab, Duck breast, NY strip, and Key lime cheesecake.

Top of the line restaurant. We ordered the Filets which were cooked to perfection. I liked the French Onion Soup (lighter flavor with chicken broth stock) and the Potato Puree. Finished with Creme Brule. The service was spectacular, never waited for anything,

I was craving for some prime rib so we decided to try this resto. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat by the bar but when I used the restroom, I noticed there are more empty tables at the back (main resto). Anyway, I ordered my prime rib and a side of eggplant. The food is expensive - it’s like $100 for what I ordered and it doesn’t even include any drink. But when my food came, I was surprised how big my steak was! If I knew, I wouldn’t have ordered any sides. My prime rib came with a bread and that was good for me. I ended up not even eating my eggplant. The prime rib is good but honestly, it’s too big for me. Would I come back? Definitely but I will make sure I am super hungry

Wonderful experience, great food and outstanding service. This is a great place to share in food, drinks, and laughs. The price is a bit high, so please be ware.

Very nice atmosphere. Located in the Mirage. It had great service but got mixed reviews from our table. Some people liked it a lot. Others didn’t care for it. The sides were good. The tuna tarter was delicious. The octopus was tasty but most thought it was over cooked, but that’s how I like it. The shrimp was average and the chips were pointless, don’t waste your time ordering them. The steaks were tasty but a little dry for most and not as tender as one might expect. Most of the party was underwhelmed and overpowered by the wood taste and Smokey smell of the steaks. I liked it but didn’t love it. The filet was really good but not as good as one would expect from a high end steak house. The wagyu beer strip was not as good as the filet in my opinion. Because so many people in our party didn’t like it, I did, it gets 3 stars.

Often at business dinners the food is a background noise for the conversation at the table. In this case I was very impressed with the quality and portions of food that complemented the staff’s attention to detail.

Beautiful location, excellent service, but the meal itself was pretty average. I'm talking quality and flavor of the meat. . . it just wasn't there. I had the prime rib. The three others I was dining with all had different cuts of steak. We sampled a bite of each steak and the consensus was. . . it's plain. The sides were good. Correction, the sautéed mushrooms were AMAZING. But I have had better prime rib at a much lower price. In my experience, you are paying for the location and the name. I would rather pay for flavor. Tom, please pack your knives and go. . .

We celebrated my husband and best friend’s birthdays in Las Vegas last night at Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak. They did not disappoint in the least! The meal, service and experience was amazing! We ordered a “double steak” three course meal that was beyond pleasing to the pallet. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the sides were extremely flavorful and served family style. The desserts were good, but not my favorite choices. All in all, I would highly recommend this establishment! It truly was a great Las Vegas dining experience, but be prepared for the bill. It’s a bit pricey, but the old adage is true, “You get what you pay for!”.

We ate at the MGM Grand site. Easy to make reservations and get in for a nice dinner. Menu and meat sections are very generous; sides are yummy; price is reasonable for a steak house (expect to pay $300 for a couple, including drinks). Cheers!! Nice get away from the hustle and bustle of LV.

I was at the Mirage attending a sales meeting and was taken to this restaurant two nights in a row. The first night we had a fixed menu, which was more a tasting menu of their various meats. The second night was a party of 8 and we ordered off the menu. I was not impressed with their food from the first night, so the second night I just had French Onion soup. The soup was $16.00 for a bowl and was the worst French Onion soup I have ever had. The lady sitting next to me ordered the lobster tail, which I believe was $60.00. It without a doubt was the smallest lobster tail I have ever seen. This place is so overpriced and the service is not that great. I would never go back

We have been to many steak houses over the years and Heritage by Top Chef Tom Colocchio was truly outstanding. He should be very proud how this restaurant is run. It has a nice decor with perfect lighting. The food is truly delicious. We started with the octopus and it was one of the BEST appetizers we had in our lifetime!! The side of Brussels sprouts was very tasty too. Our steaks were tender as can be, and perfectly prepared. And the service was flawless! Caesar, Juan, Anthony & their team should commended for providing a perfect dining experience. Heritage is a must try when in Vegas!!!

The service was exceptional and very prompt, even though we were there on Valentine’s Day and it was busy. My girls all enjoyed their meals, but there wasn’t anything particularly special about the food. The wine list was interesting to us, but perhaps only because we don’t see many of the American wines in BC.
A little disappointing
My buddy and I always like to end our trip with a nice steak dinner on our last night. We were headed to the Mirage to see the Beatles LOVE show so we figured we'd give Heritage Steak a try. We saw that the reviews were mixed coming in so we were hoping for the best and came up short. They sat us in the front bar section which was overcrowded and loud with people waiting for their tables to be ready. On top of that our waitress was hard to track down and the food was underwhelming. I have been to a lot of steakhouses in my days and this was not up to par. The bone in ribeye was overcooked (but tasty), mushrooms were lacking flavor, cooked sweet corn was over-sauced and spicy and the spicy onion rings were over-battered. I was hoping for more and will not return.
