By Tyler L |

Great Jameson. Even better friend chicken chow mein. Restaurant is a little dark, but great staff and service.

HEY LOVE Bar

By SasPDX |

Everything we wanted it to be! Excellent cocktail and vegetarian options, great service and lovely ambience. The QR code ordering was a bit challenging for us initially, but with the help of Estevan ( apologies if spelling is wrong!) we caught on and ordered without any issue. The Vegan Ceviche, JoJos and Summer Noods were excellent. Highly recommend cocktails Heart of Gold, Who's Fooling Who and Secret Life of Plants. Very innovative names too! A must-experience place.

I Hate Hate Hate that they Make You Order from Your Phone

By GueroChongo |

You order everything from your phone, and that totally sucks. There doesn't seem to be any shortage of wait staff, but that's what they do. I guess there's some folks that would rather order that way, but for me it totally ruins the dining experience. If you feel the same way, stay away. All of which is too bad because otherwise this place is pretty great. Chill retro sexy vibe with Motown hits playing. Too cool for school decor. Lovely service (once you order from your phone). And pretty solid food. I had the Tom Yum burger which was packed with flavor albeit very messy (get extra napkins). The vegan chicarrones on the side were nothing special, with an off-putting bac-o-bits kind of flavor. Ginger had the preciously named Summer Noods which were on the spicy side but a good mix of flavors and textures. We split a side of tots which were a cut above the usual freezer case version, with excellent shatter. The cocktails were straightforward if a little spendy. You can take a pass on the Japanese tap beer. It was a bit skunked and had a taste reminiscent of Miller High Life.

Had a great brunch here with family and friends

The dining area was full so we ate out in the lounge. It was fun - we pulled some tables together and gathered around. We started with drinks - lots of tasty and colorful libations - and moved on to breakfast burritos, skillets and more. Everything was really good. One of my kids, eating Keto, ordered a sandwich as a salad and loved it. The staff was great. I'd love to go back next time I'm in town.

Staff issues

Was harassed by the staff at hey love hotel bar. I have been here 4 times and will not be returning. This made my girlfriend incredibly uncomfortable and ruined our weekend trip. It is sad because my past visits here I had a nice stay

An eclectic, cozy night spot in a retro-gentrifying district!

By RogerCJ5 |

"Hey Love" looks like a jungle bar f rom the lobby of the boutique hotel (Jupiter NEXT) in which it serves as the lobby bar, Hey Love exudes the spirit of it's name: it's a welcoming place whose staff are friendly and eclectic themselves. "Hey, Love, how you doin'? Can I get you something?" Vegetarian-friendly (I think that it may be a Law in Portland) the small menu offers a wide variety of Small Plates and specialty cocktails. "Hey Love!"

Celiac Friendly and accommodating to other food allergies

Staff is helpful, courteous, and knowledgable about menu. I was able to eat GF and work around nightshade allergy.

Drinks

By David C. |

Stopped in for drinks before dinner reservation at another place on a Tuesday. Drinks were pretty good, we didn’t get food but the menu looked good. Only downside to the visit was the service was very slow. The server advised that we seat ourselves and we sat down close to the bar but that server did not come by for about 10 minutes. Other than that I would say I’d come back and check out the food.

A Hidden Garden Meets House Party

By Global Flavors and Journeys |

We stopped here as a start to our date night. It’s a place that effortlessly blends the feel of a top-notch cocktail lounge, a community hub, and a casual house party all into one. The menu may be small, but it doesn’t lack variety. I opted for the Hot Pastrami Bao Buns, which were a flavor-packed delight—tender, smoky pastrami tucked inside pillowy soft bao with just the right amount of spice and tang. Hey Love is famous for its slushees, and I couldn’t resist trying the Girl Let Your Mango—a mango margarita that was smooth, refreshing, and just the right balance of sweet and boozy. As a wrap: Vacation Without a Plane Ticket No reservations are needed, which keeps the energy flowing with a mix of locals and visitors from the Jupiter Hotel. Whether you’re here for a casual cocktail or a lively night out, Hey Love delivers an experience that feels like a portal to somewhere warm, welcoming, and slightly mysterious—a love letter to Portland with a tropical twist.

Cool quick breakfast

Hey Love shares the love with breakfast choices, lattes and juices in the Jupiter Next lobby. This really hit the spot to get fueled up for day of comic-conning or exploring.

Small Menu, great food

By GavinWongUK |

First time visiting this place, and wasn’t sure what to expect as I didn’t check up on the place prior to going. Food menu is small, but to be fair, covers a great variety of food that was cooked well. Soft shell crab and fish dishes were stand out, and each dish is probably enough to share for 2, so if there are more of you, then you may want to double down on some things. 5 dishes were enough though for the 2 of us. Gin and tonics were good here, mixed nicely unlike some places that over load the gin. Was quite busy as well for a Tuesday night, had to wait around 40 mins for our table, but they have a bar to wait at so wasn’t too bad. Would definitely return

Cute restaurant with delicious drinks and good food

By travelbug821 |

The totality of the experience from the decoration, lighting, music, cocktails, & food makes this place a 5/5. I stayed at the hotel over the weekend & went to Hey Love for meals & drinks. I recommend all the drinks, you just can't go wrong. Food-wise I recommend the Chicken sandwich. The curry flavor they added to the dressing just takes the sandwich to a different level compared to all the other chicken sandwiches out there. I got the shrimp & grits for brunch one day and it was also delicious. The negatives: the food is on the saltier side, which can be positive or negative. For the chicken sandwich, the saltiness made it taste great. However, the pepperoni pretzel was overly salty that I couldn't really eat it after 2 bites. The portion you get for the price does make this place pricey. Highly highly recommend this place!

Pleasant evening

We here a couple nights ago with my friend and we had a very pleasant experience. The food was good and service was friendly.

fun interior

By Ready2Travl2 |

We grabbed seats just in time as a couple left (they're a hot commodity it turned out). It's a small space, but didn't seem crammed (initially... until the late night folks started showing up). It's a great loud atmosphere. Fun interior designing. The dishes have more opportunity for improvement, though still tasty (balanced flavors). It would be nice to have more sharable dishes or slightly bigger portions for individual plates. Drinks are good. We came here in time before they were starting to set up for some dj by the window. This place definitely was popular for a newly opened space. We would definitely return if we're in the area again.
