Road trip celebration

By ErieKit |

Excellent food and presentation! Attention to decor detail 100%. Halibut and prime ribeye cooked PERFECTLY. MY farro risotto was out of this world. Altho I was full, someone recommended the donuts for dessert so I ordered them. WOOWWWW. Warm cinnamon donut holes served with Nutella could not be beat. Our server Mounir was amazing, attentive and so personable. Thank you Mounir for a great evening.

Great food, great service

Had an excellent meal at Highball and Harvest. I highly recommend the Doc Holiday cocktail and Brussel Sprout appetizer. For dessert, the baby donuts were INCREDIBLE. Our waiter, Mounir, was extremely attentive and provided excellent service throughout the night.

So disappointed

By JeanJ |

Such a disappointing breakfast. I booked the Ritz Carlton as my daughter was celebrating her 30th birthday and I wanted to start her day somewhere nice for breakfast. There were 3 of us, we ordered from the menu rather than the buffet. I had the avocado on toast, which was nice (albeit I never ate my egg). My daughter and partner ordered poached eggs and bacon and eggs Benedict, both meals arrived cold. We informed our server, who said not a problem we can change that! Actually we all thought an apology would have also been good. We then waited and waited for their breakfast to come, I finished my avocado, while they watched, so much for breakfast together! I asked to speak to the manager and he actually apologised and said he would see what happened, after an age their second breakfast arrived and whilst the plate was hot, the food was cold yet again. I have no idea why they can’t make a hot breakfast but they appear to be incapable. I can only assume that they source the food from the buffet, which may have sat there. However, after the first complaint I really would have thought that they would have ensured the food the second time was hot. In fairness they never made us pay but that to me isn’t the point, we were there to start my daughters birthday off on a high note and just ended up complaining. I would much rather pay and have a good time, a free inedible meal does not make up for it. Sadly a very poor experience of the Ritz Carlton Orlando.

Excellent Food and Service

By Tara S |

Mounir was an exceptional waiter both evenings we ate here during our stay. The food was delicious and the donuts with coffee ice cream that we could fill ourselves with hazelnut cream were fun and tasty. When Mounir found out we were leaving too early in the morning the next day to enjoy breakfast, he gave us complimentary fruit and Parker House rolls for the morning. Eating at this restaurant is a major highlight of our stay when we travel to the J.W. Marriott/Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes!

Amazing Food + Magic Rob

By Ruba H |

Magic Rob raised the level of this experience with his excellent service! The flavors of the food were amazing, and Rob shared the history of everything from the handmade sauces to the restaurant evolution. We ordered the oysters, melon salad, burger, and grouper. Topped off with fresh donuts at the end. The Doc Holiday drinks were the best (blueberry Moscow mules). Although the food was delicious, we plan to return because of the awesome treatment from Rob which really set it off. We could also see the Disney fireworks from the restaurant while dining. Thank you for the best date night!

Great experience!

By Rubzz |

We went here for my husbands birthday with our family (including a 19 month old) the entire experience was outstanding- from parking to walking in and going down to the restaurant. Our server was Mounir, who was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I wanted a special salad and my accommodations were met beyond my expectations. My husband got to chose a dessert which was delicious and the baby got a special dessert too! The Southern spread was big enough to share as was the brussel sprouts (and both were delicious). We also ordered the octopus, pork chop, scallops and the burger. The only dish that didn’t meet our standards was the burger. This is definitely a place we will visit again

Anniversary meal

By Plane and simple ✈️🌍 |

We booked a treat for our anniversary to dine at the Ritz. We were greeted by the staff who promptly collected our car and parked it away from the entrance. Good choice of dishes, each one very different and quirky. The restaurant is behind a large bar area with pool tables, but felt quiet and we were seated by the window. The service was good and our food was yummy. Nicely presented and very tasty. With generous portions for this type of hotel, especially the loaded fries. We received a free desert because of our special occasion which was a very nice touch.

Great dinner with the family

Had a great experience at Highball and Harvest. Our server Alex was great but the all the staff worked so well together you could tell they really enjoyed what they do and it truly made a great experience.

Delicious food and cocktails: amazing service

By TN_Serenity |

Great food and amazing service. The signature cocktails were delicious! The Flamingo's Nest and the Spring Break were our favorite cocktails, but they also had a wonderful selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and ryes. We had the Shrimp and Grits and the Scallops; both were delicious, though the dominant flavor in the Shrimp and Grits was the Andouille sausage. The duck confit nachos and Parker house rolls were perfect starters. We only get into town once a year, but this will be on our list from now on.

Good drinks and eats

By jgmshine |

The drinks were great & made by a friendly bartender. i would recommend the oysters and light fare such as hamburgers and french fries and other sandwiches. Best to eat in Club Lounge.

Love that Pimento Cheese

By ashton27 |

Always a great spot. Love the fried chicken and doc holiday. The bar is great and the bartenders are really creative. Try the breakfast buffet.

I will rate the restaurant 5 is perfect, We went with another couple friends and dinner and dessert was amazing complement for chef Scott Pizzo and kitchen the cleanness and the attention from my waiter Mario Escobedo was perfect and we felt special. We ask from some drinks they were crafted and flavourful the presentation from food desserts and drinks were spectacular. Definitely going back.

Great space, good food!

By djglencer |

We had a few dinners here and the service was very good. We had an excellent waiter Monair, and he took great care of me and my family. Lots of the items are locally sourced and great kid options as well. Although, I do believe this is a more adult centric place, they have a great kids menu.

THIS breakfast is GREAT

By HoosierWisdom |

In the world of breakfast at a high end hotel, Highball and Harvest sets the bar very high. Starting with complimentary valet parking and at least 5 staff members welcoming me to the hotel, I found the restaurant on the lower level. The experience was top notch. I recommend the grits (with plentiful bacon, tomato and cheese) as well as the fruit plate (with citrus yogurt for dipping and a hearty muffin) all food was fresh and delicious. The staff here is casual, but do not let that fool you. They anticipated my every need and were prompt in their service. Excellent!

Great On Site Restaurant at Ritz

By minnytravelers |

Ate breakfast and dinner with wonderful selection and space. Breakfast Buffet was excellent as was staff. Dinner at the bar was great with very good Southern style food and eclectic bar drinks.

Amazing service.

I came in with my friends for dinner. Our server Morgan made our experience amazing. She was very attentive and so sweet. Thank you so much! We’ll be back for sure and ask for her again.

Cheese/Meat plate is a must!

By 904dritter |

We were a group of moms staying next door and figured we would try this restaurant because it had a cocktails menu online :). We started with the cheese/meat platter and a couple other appetizers. They were amazing as well. Some of the dinners we had were the shrimp and grits and the scallops. I think someone had the oysters and said those were great too. The few cocktails we had were good .. but pricey, but hey, what do you expect from a nice place like this? ;) . The chocolate after dinner martini was a yummy end to a wonderful evening. I do recommend this place.. the ambiance was nice and the food was great. It's a nice place to go to have a romantic dinner, or just dinner with friends!

Pleasant, delightful, and enjoyable.

By Skudstrup |

Celebrating a special occasion has to be memorable for all senses, and that is what we got with our dinner at H&H. Mounir who served us was insightful, pleasant, and gave us the right recommendations for a wonderful dinning experience. We can now get married.

Very good food and even better service!

By Marc D |

This was our second time to the restaurant. The food has been very good on both occasions. Our last visit was on 2/9 and what really put it over the top was our waiter, Robbie. He was very personable, there whenever we needed him and didn't hesitate to make recommendations for our meal. We were celebrating my recent birthday and Robbie and the whole team at Highball & Harvest made it a very special evening! Thank you again and we will definitely be back!

Great Service

An interesting menu with a well though out selection. It is a great way for the server to engage with the customer. Food was plentiful and of good quality, served swiftly.

I’ll give this place 5 stars, unusual for a hotel bar/eatery. However Diana, my server was amazing! Old school professional. Very attentive to patrons. Bonus… the food was great! I have many food allergies and staff was accommodating to my needs. Not to mention one of the best Gin & Tonics I’ve ever had! Give Diana a bonus!

Great food and service

By Jenniferlynn |

After day of traveling stopped to get a quick bite The steak was amazing with a sauce to die for. The side of Mac and cheese was so good I wanted to go back each night. The fried chicken was slightly dry and a little foo foo. Our server Alexander was very nice and knowledgeable . The atmosphere in bar area is comfortable and welcoming. Works for all ages. Wanted to go back but closed for private event. Good selection of interesting mixed drinks and beer had a great beer flight of their taps.

THE STAFF

By MadelinH22 |

We dined at Highball during my husbands convention last week. Food was decent, but the staff was outstanding! Our waitress Hannah went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Hannah and Alex worked as an amazing team and made our meal and outstanding experience. I would return just for them!! We will be back.

Phenomenal service!

By Lauren D |

The scallops were amazing but what really blew me away was the service! I eat out often and my server Chris was the best server I’ve had at any restaurant ever! He was so friendly and knowledgeable and really went above and beyond! We will be back!

Saturday night dinner.

Food was good, but very expensive. Portions on the small side, left as hungry as i came in. Service was OK, but did not live upto their prices.

Scrambled eggs never tasted so good

By Taylor B |

Highball & Harvest is a restaurant, bar and lounge for all tastes--breakfast, lunch, bar bites, dinner, cocktails. Located in the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes Hotel at 4012 Central Florida Parkway in Orlando, Florida, it offers innovative Southern-inspired dishes created by chef Scott Pizzo. During our stay at the Ritz-Carlton, my wife and I managed to squeeze a breakfast, lunch and late dinner into our itinerary and we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. Open from 7 to 10 daily, Highball & Harvest features comfortable leather booths in a friendly atmosphere. For breakfast, we had steel-cut oatmeal with blueberries, brown sugar and almonds, a blueberry muffin, a toasted bagel with cream cheese, Eggs Benedict with a buttermilk biscuit, poached eggs, Creole mustard hollandaise sauce and Canadian bacon and two scrambled eggs with chicken apple sausage, toast and jam, breakfast potatoes, sweet cream and marinated tomato. For lunch, we had a crispy fried chicken sandwich with Bama BBQ sauce and bread and butter pickle on a brioche bun, a H&H pimento cheese burger with double short rib patties, pimento cheese, bacon, mustard and spiced pickles, strawberry cobbler with citrus struesel and vanilla ice cream and coconut cream pie with almond crust, fluffed cream and mango-passion fruit sorbet. For dinner, we started with deviled eggs, Parker House rolls with Cajun butter and herb butter, Kale salad with apple cider vinaigrette, bacon lardons, Georgia pecans and Florida aged cheddar. Then entrees of butter pan roasted half chicken with leeks, tomato jam, mushrooms and potato dumplings and a 12-ounce bourbon rubbed Skirt steak with Appalachian taters, aioli, arugula, chimichurri and dill pickled spice onion with BBQ fried broccoli and southern street corn. For dessert, we shared Madagascar vanilla creme brulee with fresh berries and peanut butter pudding with pretzel ice cream. It's no wonder that every review of Highball & Harvest I saw was of the five-star variety. No disagreement here.

Highball & Harvest at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando is terrific

By John M |

I attended a business conference and we stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. They have many many restaurants on location but we found our favorite to be the Highball & Harvest. We stayed several days and always made sure to have the same waitress - Diana. If you visit be sure and ask for her. I am 76 years old and I have never had a better waitress, The restaurant has a wonderful menu that is very unique. We had a different dinner every evening. Their prices are also less than the other restaurants on location and they have a great list of cocktails. It is also family friendly. They have a pool table that kids often play on. We ate there every evening because of their great food and because of Diana. My partner was a waitress herself years ago and she said that Diana was the greatest waitress that she had ever known. That’s saying a lot. So of you’re staying at the Ritz in Orlando check out Highball & Harvest and ask for Diana!

Excellent Meal

By JackBinPhoenix |

We stopped in here after recalling our last meal here two years ago. Once again my wife and I enjoyed the experience. Live music greeted us when we arrived. We ordered the hot roll appetizer and enjoyed the two butters served as an accompaniment. The savory herb butter was particularly good. I ordered the meatless entree which was excellent. My wife had the catch of the day, redfish. The carrot marmalade was delicious. I had to try some:-) Our waiter was the same as last time! Must be a good place to work too.

Best place ever I have seen.

By Stiffen Meron |

We enjoyed the comfy seating in a booth, excellent craft cocktails, wine and beer, and absolutely delicious food - from appetizers to coffee & dessert. My diver scallops were perfectly cooked. Our experience began with excellent service from our waiter. Celebrating a special occasion has to be memorable for all senses.

Surprising menu

By Lolli |

The staff is friendly and the menu is surprising. The choices on the menu have a very southern vibe: shrimp and grits, fried spicy chicken, pork chops and fried okra.

Ritz!

By DJW-Travels |

I was staying at the JW next door but walked over to this restaurant because of the connected properties. As expected, it was Ritz quality. Highly recommend. Good beer selection as well!

Fabulous 50th Dinner

By oybolshoi |

Celebrated a friend's 50th birthday while we were staying at the Ritz - we chose Highball & Harvest for their cocktails and interesting menu and were not disappointed. The staff were just lovely - they went so far as to decorate the table with balloons and a sign to mark the celebration and provided us with friendly, amazing, attentive service all evening. Food and drinks were just as good as we expected and among our favorites were the parker house rolls, deviled eggs, fried chicken, and shrimp and grits. My husband ordered the special for the night: Iberico Pork ... it was so tender and delicious, my mouth is watering just thinking about it! Dessert included donut holes served with coffee gelato and a tube of nutella ... a really fun take on traditional coffee and donuts. Kudos all around to Highball and Harvest for providing us such a fun and delicious evening with friends we hadn't seen in many years - we had a wonderful time!

Deliciously Amazing

By 884anama150 |

The service and food is great. Everything that we had tasted delicious. Bravo to the chef! We got the grilled peach salad, the Florida grouper, and Skillet Half Roasted Chicken. Nothing was left on the plate since everything tasted delicious. The salad was so well combined. Not many ingredients but that make it good for a starter. My husband loved the fish because grouper does not have much taste but the red sauce gives it flavor. The chicken was amazing especially the cauliflower pure. The restaurant offered us a dessert because of our anniversary and it was delicious. It was homemade donuts with Nutella and coffee ice cream. Omg! You got to order that dessert. Mario was our server and he was amazing! We were very professional but friendly and gave us great recommendations. He made us feel special.

Great service and amazing food

By Laura V. F. |

The service was extraordinary. The waiters were very well trained, and I believe our waiter’s name was Robin or Robbie. He was extremely professional and incredibly kind to us. All the food was delicious. The sweet bread appetizer was phenomenal, and the kids’ Mac & Cheese with fruit I chose was absolutely delicious. The restaurant also has two pool tables, which is a nice touch if you enjoy playing. Highball & Harvest is a great option for dinner. I highly recommend it and will definitely return the next time I’m in Orlando.

Fantastic!

Fantastic food and service. Mounir was our server and he was amazing. He remembered our names and went above and beyond to deliver us a special and memorable anniversary dinner. Highly recommended!

Hip spot for a Drink and some Grub

By Jen D |

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant. Seating in the bar area is perfect for some drinks and bites. I have visited a handful of times and food was hit or miss for the price on some occasions, but overall pretty tasty. When on point, it is delicious and creative. If you're just looking for a drink then you will love the vibe. Live music on some nights and a decent craft beer and wine list. The gelato and donuts are scrumptious. Cool spot for date night

Wow, what a birthday celebration!

By jo ko |

We had booked at another restuarant but ended up changing our time slot. We then looked into this restaurant at the Ritz Carlton and am so glad we did. Great atmosphere and yummy food. We had lamb, shrimp and kale salad which were so delicious. I was celebrating my birthday and thought I ate so much that when my surprise pecan cake with two scoops of ice cream came I about fell over. It had a candle. We could only eat the ice cream and took the pecan cake home. Thanks so much. I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday dinner.

Order the Pimento Burger!

By Stephen S |

My fiancé and I had dinner here on 2 January 2023, and with the help of our wonderful and very knowledgeable waiter Daniel Fiskal, we ordered the Fried Green Tomato appetizer and the Pimento Burger. We took Daniel’s advice and ate the appetizer as instructed (a little of each of the four ingredients for every bite) and it was OUTSTANDING. But the main course was over the top, I can honestly say that the burger was one of the best either of us had ever eaten. Kudos to the Chef and Staff for making this a wonderful experience, and a big shout out to Daniel, who was as perfect as the meal.

Creative menu with great cocktails, wine and craft beers.

By Ray M |

This is a restaurant/bar in the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes. The menu is not expansive, but everything is fresh and delicious!

On Track Experience

By trav05 |

Our experience began with excellent service from our waiter Mounir. The food was delicious, we ordered the Parker Rolls which come as a giant loaf of bread and tasted wonderful just by itself. The buffalo chicken sandwich and pecan crusted chicken were both excellent and the coconut cream pie mated with sorbet was delicious.

Poor Reservation Policy

By Bill D |

Tried for three days to reserve via website. Like a few other restaurants in the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton, they open at 5:30 and we’re first come first serve. H&H did not indicate on their website that they were totally booked…hence we were rudely turned away. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Went to The Kitchen in the JW area and received a better selection of entries and welcoming reception/service

Nice watering hole

By Ross J |

Highball and Harvest is one of the bars in the Ritz Carlton Orlando. It has a host of local beer on tap and a good selection of bar food if you need a snack. The pickle brined wings are outrageous. Highly recommended!

60th Birthday dinner! Wonderful from start to finish!

By kakdak2016 |

We were greeted right away, love the atmosphere, cozy and inviting. Our waiter Mario was great. We had a question regarding a specialty cocktail, he brought over a tasting glass for us to try! We loved Rhyme nor Reason cocktail! Dinner was delicious my sister and I shared High on the Hog. My niece had the triple dip fried chicken, to die for. For dessert, a decadent birthday platter for my sister! Amazing! We will be back! Roseann Westbury, NY

I wanted to love this....

By LuxeFamilyFun |

First of all, the Highball & Harvest is located in the lower level of the Ritz Carlton Orlando. We visited three times during our stay at the hotel. I wanted to love this place because the atmosphere is just so cool. It's a big, airy space, decorated in a rustic fashion. It's clean and run professionally. There is a large bar and seating area, with TV's, pool tables and a shuffleboard. Great space to hang out. The restaurant is huge, with several distinct spaces. The service was excellent during all three visits (Thanks, Sam, Alex, etc.). Where this falls just short is the food. It's ambitious - even inventive. The menu is appetizing. The food is just not executed very well. We had enough visits to try many items and while there are things that are obviously good, there are plenty that could have been better. I hope they turn around the food - it's a really cool space.

Great Breakfast

By Donnac2009 |

I was able to enjoy the Breakfast buffet here on my last day and it was delicious! I was anticipating lunch but they made sure I was able to quickly enjoy the buffet and specially made me eggs at their offer. Service was fabulous and quickly attentive and the food was delicious!

Relaxed, Sophisticated, Fun Service

By smsfletch |

Excellent appetizer menu; sophisticated casual atmosphere with plenty of open space. My husband and I felt comfortable among very dressy to very casually dressed - we were in our travel clothes and felt fine. We chose the leather club chairs to start, with appetizers and an impressive list of wine and specialty cocktails (Stag’s Leap blend red wine is excellent). We moved outside to the patio for a cigar and more wine in the balmy air, and enjoyed a mostly forgotten cocktail called the Amaretto Sour (simple but delicious). Thanks to waitstaff Lauren, Irv, and Sam for making us feel at home and making our evenings there something to remember. Our best memories are shaped by great customer service and Highball & Harvest really delivers - and drives the desire to write the review. Thanks for a few great evenings on our trip to Florida!

Cannot accommodate a large party

By pattyR |

We made reservations months ago for a table of 10 to celebrate our 50 th anniversary. When we arrived the manager told us they had a table for 6 and one for 4. They told us if we wanted a table together they would have to cancel someone else’s reservation. The food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive and food was cold. We paid for club level 3 rooms for the week. Not the attitude or the services we expected. Expectations are disappointments waiting to happen and this was a disappointment.

Delicious casual chic dining @ the Ritz

By Deenjohn |

Highball and Harvest located in the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes is a chic dining option for those that are looking for a casual night out. The service was wonderful! Ryan took great care of us. The crab cake appetizer was great for sharing, and the shrimp and grits melted in your mouth! My husband had the High on the Hog entree, which was a glazed pork chop with collard greens and baked beans - can you say “perfection?” I usually have leftovers, but not this time!

Vacation and birthday celebration!

By LRCan |

What a great place! The deco is really interesting and has a cool vibe. Rich warm colors and lots of open space. Our waiter Lenny was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The menu is very interesting and probably not for picky eaters. But, the array of options was different and every one was delicious (as were the amazing cocktails!). We came for my birthday, and the top of the menu had “happy birthday” on it and I thought that was very nice. I choose the vegetarian option, and it was truly delicious. The portions look small on the plate, but it really was more than enough food. To top it off, my family surprised me with a birthday dessert platter that was unbelievable. From the donuts, to the Keylime tart, to the pecan pie....it was amazing! It’s not an inexpensive place to dine, but it was worth it. We would definitely return!

Highball & harvest Morgan chhima

My friends and I have eaten at Highball and harvest several times and each time Morgan was our server. Not only is she an amazing server she is an absolute doll!! Very polite and exceptional service. Not to mention that the food and drinks are to die for

Good all rounder

By patty |

1st visit here with family . Great atmosphere. Staff very friendly Prompt service Piping hot food and well displayed Varied menu to suit all ages

Would not return

By Amy W |

Let me start by saying the service was terrific and out table was ready for us on time. However, I was anticipating a different atmosphere than what we experience. It was poorly identifies in the hotel (Ritz) and the entry, once we found it, was a bizarre combination of a kids' game room and a bar. There were SO MANY kids in/near the bar area! Major turnoff. Then we wandered through till we found the hostess station. That was just strange, imo. Once we were seated, it was fascinating that both parents and staff allowed two little girls to wander amongst the tables. Not safe for girls or staff. Gratefully, that family left soon thereafter. The girls weren't terrorizing anyone, but restaurant management should not have allowed them free reign. The service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive The food was so-so. The Parker House rolls were "gluey" and stodgy. The deviled eggs were hard and rubbery. These are easy, beginner- level menu items so when those aren't right, it doesn't bode well for rest of meal. The steak was so chewy and fatty I literally had to spit out multiple bites. Not cool for a $62 menu item. On a more positive note, the heirloom tomato appetizer was delicious and flavorful. The kale salad was also very good. The desserts were the redeeming elements of the meal. Creme brulee was best I've ever had, donuts were delicious and their presentation was 👍👍. Chocolate cake was delicious as well.

Worst service ever

By lisamariekoivu |

Brunch ends at 11. The servers and bartenders are apathetic. You’d think an $18 drink would come out in under 20 minutes. Nope.

Amazing food amazing service

By Patrick M |

Stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a nice staycation and high ball and harvest was truly one of the gems of the experience. Not only were the food and drinks expertly prepared but mounir as our server brought 5 star service every step of the meal. I would always request him as our server when we go back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Good food, good service, convenient when staying at hotel

By missmaloym |

Had a good dining experience at this restaurant located inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel. This was the second time I have been here. The last time was for dinner. This time I went for lunch and had the double cheeseburger and fries. The fries were crispy, delicious and fried to perfection. The burger was definitely made from high-quality beef and it was really good. It also was topped with delicious bacon. I absolutely love the housemate pickles that they have!!!! I could literally eat them just by themselves. They do have a full bar. Of course with this being this is the Ritz, prices are a little higher. The burger was $26. A charcuterie board is $29. Most of specialty drinks are in between $16 and $19. The service was really good. The place was immaculately clean and they also have pool tables and other games for entertainment. I recommend and will return.

Excellent Service and Food!

By AMorton7486 |

If I could rate our experience 10 out of 5, I would. My husband and I live locally and had date night here. Christopher took great care of us. We both had deviled eggs- an absolute must Southern appetizer, and each had the Red Snapper, which was so high quality it was almost like a thick grouper. Excellent creative preparation. We ordered the donuts with Cappuccino ice cream and Nutella- which only lasted minutes on our table. The bar was very quick with drinks. Also good intel that parking is validated by the restaurant- we will absolutely be back!

Great Lunch Experience

By Erika E |

Delicious burger and corn was out of this world. Ariel went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. He anticipated my every need!! Made the experience extra special . Thank you! Hannah was a sweetheart. Maria the host was also wonderful and very accommodating!

Unique Food & Drink

By Barry F |

I ate at the bar for a snack lunch and in the restaurant for an evening group meal and both were excellent. The bar offers local craft beers on tap, and an array of lunch offerings. I had the pulled pork sammies/fries and my friend had the wings and fries. Both were very good. At dinner their offerings were very unique. I had the fried chicken which was different than the usual style, but it was great. Friends had the steak which they thoroughly enjoyed, and the mac&cheese was a hit also. The deserts were HUGE. The red velvet was the most unique desert that I had ever seen. Get it if you go there.

Such a great spot

Had dinner here with co-workers on a Monday night and absolutely loved it. Our server was outstanding and the food was beyond delicious. This will be a must go to spot every time I'm in Orlando.

Amazing Breakfast & Dinner

Amazing breakfast buffet with a variety of choices!!!! Yummy dinner! The breakfast is way more reasonable & taste much better than anything we could have gotten at Disney or off property! I highly recommend the buffet it will leave you full for at least half the day!

Family Dinner!

By Sarahlee40 |

Came in tonight for a 6:15 dinner reservation. The table was ready for us when we arrived. Mario was our server. He was absolutely fantastic. Gave us great service and recommended delicious courses. I started with the burrata and heirloom tomatoes. It may have been the best I’ve ever had. Then I had the lamb shank. It was delicious. The hominy risotto was a little salty for me but otherwise a fantastic meal. I finished with a cappuccino. My son and husband had the pimento burger which is a family favorite. My son finished with the donuts which he loved. It was a great experience. We’ll be back!

Nice ambiance and great service by ALEX!!!

By msdet1529 |

Since we made it to the Ritz-Carlton around 5pm, we checked in, had a nice cocktail hour in the R-C Lounge and had a late dinner at H & H. A nice table at our reservation at 8:15 pm and we were waited on by ALEX, who gave us great service, took care of us like we were family, and went the extra mile to make sure we left happy and sure enough we did. A bottle of the Stag's Leap Karia from Napa Valley started our night. We ordered fried green Tomatos with Crab salad which was tasty, full of flavor and hitting the spot with the chow chow sauce on the side. And Alex informed us that the cheese burgers are the best here in Orlando and they are a double beef cheese burgers so we decided to share this and have them cut the cheese burger in half for us and have the loaded fries with Pulled pork with the Alabama BBQ sauce and Cotija cheese. Both dishes were absolutely delish, burger was grilled perfectly of medium with the cheese melted just right. Nice char taste, nice sized half of a burger. Sure did hit the spot!!! The wife didn't really like the French wine that they had at the bar while we were waiting for our table. Alex did notice that it was barely touched. So the wife told him that is wasn't the best and he gave us a card for a round of drinks courtesy from him to the lobby bar... really nice gesture and really appreciate the offer!!! Thank You Alex!!! Overall, great decor and ambiance, the food was tops!!! Our selection of wine is one of our favorites, and the service by ALEX was truly the BEST!!! We will be back!!! 🍔🍔🍔🍅🍅🍅🍷🍷🍷

This was a great solo stop for a meal and drinks

By TCairl |

Picked this place to eat and a short Uber ride away. Loved the wine list. Sat at the bar and ordered a cocktail before dinner , their bourbon is such a good selection! The octopus was an excellent choice for appetizer and I love the scallop dish too but the mushrooms in the scallop dish stole the show in a gold way. Would def visit again. Friendly staff and excellent setting . This restaurant is at the ritz Carlton btw

Solid dinner

By chapelridgegolfer |

Had a real nice dinner. Excellent ambience. Nice wine list. Enjoyed the cask wines in tap. Enjoyed a real nice duck entree and my daughter really enjoyed the kids buffet. Best she has ever seen and my wife liked the scallops. Nice job here! And shuffleboard after is a nice treat.

Exquisite dining experience in rustic setting

By J C |

This restaurant provides a rustic experience of exquisite dishes and desserts. Although pricey, meals are prepared to engage the eyes and tantalize the taste buds.

Perfect evening

Everything was fantastic, food was great and Chris delivered everything to us promptly. The doc holiday is the best drink!

A 10 out of 10 dining experience!!

By trianglepolymer |

Our meal was superb!! Our server Steven was outstanding!!!! His appetizer and entree recommendations were perfect and his attention to detail was an excellent example of the Ritz Carlton experience

Awesome salad

By Newdoll |

My friend and I went for dinner for two nights while staying at the JW Marriott in Orlando. The first night we shared a flat bread pizza. The sangria is delish. We were not very hungry the second night and they have small plates so we were pleased. We shared a burger which was very good. I got the side house salad and it was awesome. Fresh vegetables including spring mix with tomatoes, asparagus and ricotta cheese and a vinaigrette dressing.

Great food- Robbie was an EXCEPTIONAL waiter who made the night amazing!

By Nin I |

We were served by Robbie on our anniversary get away. Robbie made our dining experience exceptional! He paid attention to details, went above and beyond, attended to every need/desire, was super kind, energetic, and continually strived to make our experience better and better. He made great recommendations on the food, delivered items in a timely fashion, checked in on us often, and made us feel relaxed and cared for. The meals were wonderful. Great flavors and pairings. We hope to visit again soon and request Robbie again for his EXCEPTIONAL service.

Rustic Good

By LYNNIE72 |

I was staying for a couple days at the Ritz Carlton and opted to eat on property at this restaurant for lunch and breakfast a couple times. Service and food were always top notch. The kale salad is delicious and one of a kind, the fried brussel sprouts, wings, and tomato soup are also all delicious. The breakfast buffet included everything from sausage gravy and biscuits to chocolate chip bread and everything in between. They also had a local honeycomb available to get some fresh honey on the spot, which I thought was pretty unique. The layout is nice of the restaurant and it has a rustic, restoration type feel. There are also 2 pool tables and a shuffleboard table available for those wanting some game time. There is also a bar if you prefer to just grab a quick cocktail. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Another farm to table place

By CarnivoreGunter_TX |

Wide variety of items to choose from. It’s not a steak house if that’s what you are looking for. Lots of other items from seafood to fried chicken. Very good service and cool vibe.

Festive family meal at nice resort

By Jim |

We as a family have enjoyed many meals at H&H over the years - they’ve still “got it” with such a creative, sophisticated take on Southern food in an upscale bar setting (the more formal Ritz Carlton restaurant is upstairs). Our server this time was especially professional and efficient. We do enjoy a good craft cocktail there, though they run heavy on the whisky/dark liquor side given the southern theme of the restaurant though I really enjoyed the spicy and sweet mezcal drink currently on the menu. They don’t disappoint in the dessert department either - a nice take on blueberry cobbler made with fresh berries, lemon zest, not too sweet and silky smooth vanilla ice cream, a creative spin on a chocolate (cherry) Coca Cola cake, and - if you didn’t believe their pastry chefs had going on yet - a perfectly crafted crème brûlée. We live a few hours away and have always paired eating here with a stay at the JW Marriott which shares a beautiful property with the Ritz Carlton (they share a convention center as well as amenities). So it is a little pricey and you could certainly have excellent meals for less in Orlando, but it allows us to enjoy the resort without ever leaving and we appreciate that we can always enjoy a consistently good experience there.

Worst Ritz Restaurant ever!!!

By vicogirl |

This restaurant is not up to the Ritz Carlton standard at all!! However the server was ok!! Their menu is extremely limited and that would be fine if the entrees were good of which ours were not. My shrimp and grits flavor was good but the shrimp were minuscule in size that you had to search to find them ! My husband’s red snapper was burnt and arrived COLD! My cousins skirt steak which he requested medium cooked was RARE and again COLD! My other cousin ordered two appetizer. The lamb riblets he said were good but the jerky was not !! The banana pudding and Nutella donuts were the best part of the experience! I’m a Floridian but not sure I’d recommend this restaurant !

Chris is 10/10

By DavidScwartzberg |

This place is phenomenal. Came in because it was recommended to me on TripAdvisor, and it exceeds expectations. Chris, our server was engaging and very knowledgeable. Food is a little pricey, but service makes up for it!

Delicious farm-to-table, southern food in a classic rustic setting

By cosmolinagirl |

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton for a couple of nights and had both dinner and brunch at Highball & Harvest. We were blown away by the flavourful southern dishes and farm-to-table feast. Must try the High on the hog (seared bbq pork) and shrimp and grits. We finished dinner with their mini donuts, ice cream and nutella (in a tube!). The brunch buffet was absolutely phenomenal - the local ingredients made even the simplest omelet taste amazing! We were so full that it lasted until dinner. The service was quick, friendly and also exceeded our expectations. It's been two weeks since our visit and I can't stop thinking about the place!

Spectacular

By Marc |

This place is spectacular. We eat out a lot and travel a lot and I don’t write many recommendations, but Highball & Harvest is above and beyond. We stayed five nights at the Ritz and after eating here on night two, we had to change our plans on night five to return for a second meal. Everything and everyone is awesome, but a special thanks goes out to our server Robbie who is truly wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure our kids were happy and he was attentive to our every need. I will go out of my way to eat here again in the future.

Lovely dinner where the meal was only matched by the presentation!

By John B |

Great meal! Delightful service! Beautiful presentation of dishes. Our server, Mounir, took the time to learn our names and was very attentive.

Coolest unknown spot for locals in south Orlando

Great meal at bar. Perfect service, live, music ethereal food. Tomato soup & grilled cheese appetizer a steal at ($15) followed by scallops with cranberry accent. Could not have been any better. Thanks for a perfect evening.

Enjoyed our Dinner, enjoyed the red snapper, pricing on the wine menu was slightly overpriced, good service.

Poor food and service

By RAPIDSERVICE9769 |

Celebrated a Mother’s Day, but we expect a delicious food but the oysters cheaper quality, cold food and servers no friendly staff, the only time when they coming to the table was we paid.

Excellent food, exceptional service.

By Miles W |

Our server Morgan was top notch! Pork belly was a masterpiece! The Ritz Carlton is a magical place, palatial and extravagant. All staff members are very accommodating and super friendly this place is wonderful.

Anniversary Date night to prefection🎉❤️

By mysaltlife |

This place isn’t just for date night … there was great music and intimated options. I went for the Lavender Lemonade 🍋🍸cocktail… it was the perfect complement to the evening… the appetizer options were endless… we started with the chartreuse platter… The perfect mix of flavors in the cheese 🧀 and meat options… My better half had the pork chop special… he wouldn’t put his fork down! I’m a vegetarian… so I chose the bbq broccoli and peppers 🌶 side plates!!! Get them!!!!! The touches they put on their entrees are better than the pictures from their reviews. We enjoyed the peanut butter dessert 🍨 to complete the evening! It’s worth the hype!

Chris was awesome!

By Ivonne M |

Chris was my server and he was great! Also, the fried green tomatoes were awesome! My boyfriend and I will be back. The green tomatoes were great. Loved it

Great meal

By Kelly C |

We had a great meal last weekend. They have such a nice outdoor patio for nicer weather too. The highlight was Alix who was our wonderful server. She was a delight!

Excellent meal with family while at JW Marriott

By tber |

A few days R&R in Orlando and found this little gem - easily walkable. Able to get online reservations and seated early. Our party of 3 had the wings (wow! The sauce!) and then two orders of the fried chicken and one order of the special - pork chop. All ridiculously amazing. Cocktails wonderful and great service. Even though we were stuffed, had to try the baby donuts with gelato and a tube of their version of Nutella. Gelato was ‘ok’ but only because it had a hint of coffee and not coffee fans. Loved the decor - lots of kids with families - all sorts of dress (from swim trunk looking to nicely dressed). Wish we were staying long we would go back in a heartbeat.

Magic Rob is the reason we will come back!

By Griff P |

The restaurant was exceptionally good and food was excellent. What made the place and experience so special was Magic Rob. The most incredible service we have ever had. We have been back 4 times since to dine because of Rob. One of the best restaurants in Orlando.

H & H was very good

By Sarah K |

Very good breakfast. One day our server was excellent, the next not very attentive. I had to ask twice for orange juice. The conference dinner was delightful. Served family style with lots of choices. The setting is lovely.

Good food better service

By Ryan T |

I had a the fried green tomatoes and pork chop. Chris took great care of us and recommendations were perfect. I will be back.

Great meal

By Bard W |

Tucked away in the basement of the ritz Carlton is a wonderful little gem of a Restaurant. Everything is fresh farm to table and the food is wonderfully prepared. Sit on the patio (weather permitting) and ask for Rob who is a fantastic waiter who really enjoys his job!

Wonderful dining experience !!

By BT993TT |

We had a wonderful dining experience at Highball & Harvest in the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes Orlando. The ambience is great coupled with excellent service. Our first time here and we tried Kickin' Wings and Aged N' Cured for appetizers. For the entree, we tried High on Hog, Venison and Skirt Steak. The desserts were Key Lime Tart and Chocolate Pecan Pie. We enjoyed the food very much and certainly the excellent service and attention provided by Mounir, Raul, Angelo and Rose made the entire dining experience wonderful! There was also live music to liven up the casual ambience. We will come back again and this place is highly recommended!

Good food and attentive service. We shared several dishes including Deep fried Field green tomatoes with crab butter, Peel n eat shrimo, shrimp and goat cheese grits and Southern street corn . Dessert of Coffee gelato with baby donuts was a very shareable plate

Great food

Inside of the Ritz Carlton, a restaurant with great atmosphere and service. The food is fresh and wonderfully prepared and presented. We ate there twice for dinner and twice for breakfast during our stay. Would highly recommend.

By Dan |

Very good. Mario was excellent everything he recommended was great. Enjoyed our evening at Highball and Harvest. Will be back.

Great service!!

By doncusick |

Menu was a little unusual for a west coast guy but the food was great and service could not have been better, right down to them offering a coffeee to go as we presided to leave.

The best food in Orlando

By AlHarbi |

They have the best Chicken & Waffle in the world. The food is amazing and my son is looking forward to our next visit to Orlando so he can get Chicken & Waffle. During our stay, he got Chicken & Waffle for Lunch and Dinner two days in a row

Highly disappointing

By tappyt |

We dined with several family members for the Thanksgiving buffet. I found the experience Highly mediocre. Selection limited and food unappetizing. I see chains advertising “all you can eat” Buffett dinners for $10 a person and it could hardly be worse than Highball & Harvest which charges $120 per person. Cocktails are quite expensive. Would certainly look for other choices.

Relaxing, Classy, and Excellent Service.

By RedneckIggy |

Good, ambience, and service were all top notch! Mounir was our server and he made our weekend getaway so amazing. We are expecting and he was so kind throughout a wonderful meal. We will absolutely be back. And ask for Mounir as your server!

Awesome!

By Mary8999 |

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We sat at the bar and the bartender gave us the best recommendations on food. With only one bartender on duty and a thirsty crowded bar, service is stretched thin. I'd come back here in a minute.

Luxurious Brunch

By Peter N |

Great service, but brunch offering is limited due to space constraints. Would recommend walking to the JW Marriott for Citron brunch.

Top restaurant in orlando

By spw78 |

Absolutely one of the best restaurants for service in Orlando. As you’d expect from ritz Carlton, they really go above and beyond. The food is also fantastic!

Not, I mean not, ‘Putting on the Ritz.’

By dinedalot |

I’m almost 71. We took my daughter, grand daughter and son-in-law. The other 2 being my wife and this eloquent writer. I had the worst burger I’ve had in my life. The fries had some kind of coating that was like...a coat, a winter coat. None of the rest of the party fared any better. The service was friendly but excruciatingly slow. What an unpleasant surprise for being at the Ritz.

Best dinner best service!

By carli_miller |

Me and some girlfriends came in for a birthday dinner and it was everything we wanted and more! The staff and food were AMAZING. Mario our server went out of his way to make our night special! He was so attentive and kind. Will definitely come back ASAP!! Thank you for a great night!!

Mixed bag here

By TravelB |

Highball and Harvest is a great gastropub concept. It’s on the lower level of the lobby at the Ritz. It is a really cool hangout spot with a cool vibe and lots of casual seating. The menu is higher priced than I expected and pretty limited but a decent selection. The problem is the food quality. I had three meals there. Two were average, just ok but one was not edible. It was the rock island shrimp I believe. The shrimp was OK but everything else in the bowl was not edible and did not even have the appearance of food. Very strange, like rubber and putty and dirt. I know that sounds strange but that’s the only way I can describe it. I think they try a little too hard being creative with the food. The place is too cool to be ruined by the food! Might go back for drinks but negative on the food.

Awesome meal and wines!

By Dr-Ing-Dchen |

This restaurant was tucked downstairs in the Ritz Carlton, so wasn't sure what to expect. The waiter and sommelier tag-teamed to make a memorable meal! Our food was fresh and tasty and the recommended wines were great! The first one they recommended was one from old vines, which had a truly interesting and wonderful taste. Too bad we had to work the next morning, but we did end up closing the restaurant down. A wonderful restaurant!

Amazing Skirt Steak

By Mom O |

During our recent stay at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando we had the pleasure to dine at “Highball & Harvest”. It was a busy weekend but they were able to accommodate a seating. Our server was prompt and very informative with the evenings selections. We ordered the “Southern Spread” which came with pimento cheese and smoked crab, pickled vegetables good but not remarkable. The “High on the Hog” selection that evening were pork chops from Spain which we were told were fed on hazelnuts and acorns. They were prepared perfectly, tender and delicious. We also ordered the “Prime Skirt Steak”. One of the best skirt steaks I’ve had with a delcious chimichurri sauce. Tender and cooked to my specification. It was served with baby roasted sweet potatoes, delicious with a dab of marshmallow fluff on the side and pecans. As a side we ordered the Brussels sprouts which were crispy, even if you don’t like Brussels sprouts you’ll love these. But the BEST is always last!! At the suggestion of our server we ordered the H&H Baby Donuts. They were accompanied by an amazing Lineage Brew Gelato which is a local coffee and a tube of Nutella!! The donuts were lightly dusted in sugar and warm. We also ate at the breakfast buffet which was full of fresh fruits, pastries and many other options. The omelette bar is manned by Miss Donna who is a delight and guarantees the best omelettte you’ll ever have! She did not disappoint. They advertise as a farm to table restaurant with many of their vegetables coming from a local 7000 sq ft farm in the area complete with bees and fresh honey.

Nice staff and good food

By Sarah S |

The food was good and the service was wonderful. I had no issues. It had a variety of food options. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very accommodating.

Dinner at the Bar

By Sarahlee40 |

Arrived at 5:30 on Friday for dinner. My parents and I sat at the bar. Irv took great care of us. By 6 pm the place was alive - lots of people, great live music. Food and drinks were all good. Pimento burger is the best around. My mother had the tilefish which was great with fresh veggies. I had the burrata. Everything was delicious.

Superior Restaurant in all ways

By Tamar S. |

From philadelphia to sarasota to naples to the Breakers and New Orleans… This is the finest dining experience at a Ritz property. You get what you pay for and here you get more for your money. The service in this restaurant is perfection. Daniel Fiskal, our server, and Hector Garcia, one of the Managers, are going to go far. And they should. Hospitality!!!! Kindness!!!!! Generosity!!!!!Knowledge!!!!!! A night to remember for our 50th Anniversary celebration.

Great cocktails and food

By anr678 |

We had such lovely meals here during our recent stay at The Ritz. Food was delicious and cocktails were so great. We especially enjoyed Robbie’s wonderful service and how he went above snd beyond. He was so helpful and personable (and entertaining!). Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing food and outstanding service

By ClevelandOHLisa |

The food and drinks here are wonderful. We had fried chicken that was yummy! The servers were so personable! It felt like dinning a a friends home. We will mot be back in Orlando without eating here!

two superb dinners

By Jörg K |

We very rarely visit twice the same restaurant during our vacation, but as it was so Fresh, welcoming (thanks Brian) and of innovative cuisine, we just came back the next day and tried some other plates and deserts...and it was a very welcome déjà vue with delicious starters, sides and main entrees and an equally very nice service (Thanks Hunter). Great place.

Nice Ambience, Crowded, But felt Open

By Robert P N |

It was nice, but i was a little disappointed with the steak. Can't recommend this as a steak place at all. The parker roll was very good. Also, a nice wine list. If i go back will most likely eat upstairs.

Not impressed

By MLCNETWORK |

Bad rock shrimp appetizer. We had to send it back as it tasted “off” & smelled fishy. It’s not the tempura style you’re used to— it’s just tiny shrimp in a curdled, milky sauce: yuck! Main courses, our grouper was dry (a substitute for flounder) with a nasty tar-like sauce, but blackened shrimp and grits was good. Our cocktails were good. Could have done without the kids in t-shirts while we tried to have a nice date night away from our own two. We left early without dessert but not before asking for the rock shrimp to be removed from the bill (!!) Sorry, we won’t be back.

Highball & Harvest

By Sashaley |

From the moment we stepped into highball and harvest it was nothing but great vibes. Maria was so accommodating and sweet when we asked for an outside table. Jackie our server, was the best server we have ever had and we are avid restaurant people. Thank you guys so much and i recommend anyone to go to highball and harvest. Ask for Jackie as your server. you won’t be disappointed.

Must Eat Here!

By GrandTour812254 |

Amazing steak dinner! The steak was flavorful and tender, especially for a skirt steak. The side dish of potatoes, tomatoes and feta perfectly paired with the steak (and sauce.) The Last Wish cocktail also complemented the meal. Service was outstanding. I had two servers, Lenny and Steven. They were helpful with recs, friendly and efficient but also gave me my space.

Best place ever!

By Georgia X |

Absolutely loved it! Great food, great atmosphere . Highly recommended. Give it a chance, you won't regret it!

Nice couples dinner, pretty interior

By StephanieMedilla |

I was in Orlando a couple of months ago and had dinner at Highball & Harvest. I was initially drawn to it by the online photos, and then the menu sealed the deal. Great service! Ordered the oysters of course, smoked fish and other dips, and a scallops entree. What a great experience and place.

Great food! Awesome experience!

By Heather S |

My husband and I chose to eat at Highball and Harvest based on their great reviews online. The reviews did not disappoint .The food was incredible and our waiter (his name was Mounir) was probably the best we’ve ever had! He was super attentive, great with our names and overall provided a wonderful experience, during our dinner!! We finished dinner with the donuts for dessert, they were incredible. Highly recommended this place!

Outstanding food and service

By jj |

Great atmosphere, food and service! Our server Mounir was exceptional!! Menu gave us plenty of choices and the servings were generous. Reservations are suggested.

Excellent choice to dine in at Ritz

By Bill G |

If it one of those times when you do not feel like leaving the hotel , this restaurant delivers an excellent meal and service . Food was very tasty and served in the proper increments . Sever was so good I contemplated soup and he said "try it ,if you do not like I will take it back . They were so accommodating .

Breakfast: give it a miss

By ukphill |

Breakfast: promising menu, nice decor and friendly staff. But let down by quality of food and the cooking. The potatoes were luke warm , the eggs were like warm. It’s pretty shoddy really and lets down the Ritz Carlton. Similar experience for dinner!

Great Food and Atmosphere!

By Tim N |

My wife was really impressed with the H&H menu that she saw at the adjoining property. I called at the last minute hoping for a Saturday evening reservation...Alex at the reservation desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had no idea how lucky we were... Highball & Harvest is a casual, rustic Florida restaurant. We were seated at a table with a view of a lake and garden. Mario was our waiter and he highly recommend you request his table when you visit. He took the time to talk with us and answered all of our questions about the menu. Started with pimento cheese and crab spread with house made crackers and bread. Excellent! We went on to share a perfectly seasoned skirt steak and delicious fried green tomatoes. To top it off, savory creme brulee and coconut cream pie with mango sorbet for dessert. We both highly recommend Highball & Harvest!

Fantastic dining experience!

By Rhonda S |

We had an amazing dining experience. Our server Alex went above and beyond to make our dinner special including adding special garnishes to the children's lemonade! The service was excellent and our food came out delicious and hot. I highly recommend the market fish or the pork dish! The sweet bread appetizer was a great way to start the meal and the mini doughnuts with nutella to finish was a perfect way to bookend our main course! The vibe in the restaurant and bar area was fun and friendly and we enjoyed a quick game of shuffle board with the kids while waiting for our meals to arrive. I would highly recommend you make this one of the places you dine on your next trip to Orlando!

Fun food and great time

By Sonali J |

Great southern flavor and the food is amazing! Fried green tomatoes- fried chicken- shrimp and grits...and the burger there is best burger of the area 3 years in a row...ask for it since not on the menu...but everyone knows about it! The bartenders have created some great cocktails for you to try and if you want to go old school- they can do that too! They have local beers and they are also farm to table with their veggies! Overall...you can't go wrong with H&H!

Excellence on all fronts

By Ellenseafl |

Our first visit to Highball & Harvest won't be our last. The atmosphere, service (thank you, Mounir & team), and food were extraordinary. We enjoyed the comfy seating in a booth, excellent craft cocktails, wine and beer, and absolutely delicious food - from appetizers to coffee & dessert. My diver scallops were perfectly cooked and sweet, and I would marry the chocolate cherry cake if possible. Prices reflect what you'd expect to spend at a Ritz property, but the quality and experience were worth it.

Great food and service

By Blackbeard |

Great food and great service. Mounir was the name of our server and he could not have been more kind and helpful. Portions here are generous and the food and drinks are excellent.

Ups and downs at the Highball & Harvest

By kimbiel-nielsen |

During a short stay in Orlando we frequented the restaurant three times. The first visit for dinner was superb. Good service and fantastic food. Next day we decided that it had been so good that we wanted to repeat the experience. Unfortunately the next visit was not up to the standard of the first. The duck was to rare and so tough that it defied attempts to cut it. When the staff asked if we were satisfied - they immediately offered to exchange the duck fora steak which they promised would be perfect. The steak was perfect - but suprise we suddenly got a bigger check as the steak was more expensive. Not top notch service. Finally we had breakfast in the restaurant - this was very good but slightly expensive. So good and bad - a bit more expensive than expected - total value for money 3 stars out of five.

Birthday Celebration

By Mtzk316 |

I reserved a table for my wife’s birthday. The ladies who seated and welcomed us were nice and really helpful. One of them put my bags in a secure location during the meal. Mario was our waiter and he was absolutely the best. He was helpful and talked my wife into getting the trout instead of shrimp and grits. I ordered the chicken. We had the bread for an appetizer. It was delicious. Really nice dinner. At the end, Mario surprised my wife with a piece of cake. 2 thumbs up, 5 stars and so on. I would highly recommend if you are a local or traveling through the area.

Sadly it was not the 4.5 star we expected

By tomb4201 |

Staying not too far from the Ritz, so thought we would give Highball & Harvest a try. Saw good reviews, so I expect our experience was not typical. Arrive a bit early, so had a drink at the bar, the one bright spot of the evening was the person at the bar, Vicky. Got seated, and our waiter seemed to be a nice guy, but service initially was a bit slow. Had another table seated after ours, ordered the same appetizers, then got served their main course, finished, paid up and left and we were still waiting for our meal. The waiter must have known something was amiss, as he 'brought us something' (soup, which we did not order). After another 10 minutes or so (the soup got cold) they finally brought our main course, 90 minutes after our arrival, and by then we were not interested. Got the items to go, and will see how they reheat tomorrow. Should we return, we will likely just eat at the bar, as at least there we will get drinks relatively quickly. Expect this is not normal, as this is a restaurant in the Ritz Carlton, and we expected Ritz-like service which was far from what we got (with the exception of Vicki). May give them another chance, but will have to consider it. Hope your experience is better.

True Luxury and Great Food and Service

By Matt B |

When you go to Highball and Harvest, you walk through the Ritz-Carlton. There is no doubt you are in an ultra luxury hotel with room prices that are $600/night for a minimum, seeing the decorations and perfection with cleanliness and anesthetics. The carpets are vacuumed and adjusted to allow the fibers to contour to a uniform and authentically pleasing setting. There are hand sanitizer stations about every 10 feet, and custodial staff still wear masks. In a spotless hotel, it is clear that the management wants you to feel safe, and I did. On my way to Highball and Harvest from the self parking, I walked into a deserted restroom in between the conference hall, quiet on the weekend, and the lobby, with a high class live entertainment, playing a chill version of Sublime's Santeria. The restroom was like a museum. Each sink was perfectly setup with paper towels and soap. The urinals were all clean and welcoming. There were cozy chairs?! (Is this how a woman's restroom looks?!). The floor was hand tiled, beautifully. Dinner was exceptional. When you eat out, the service is the focal point. Food is food. We sat outside, as we always do, post pandemic. We were the only people there. The host gently asked if we preferred indoors, contrary to our OpenTable reservation. He didn't push at all though. We stuck with outdoors. Robbie, our waiter, is a master of his craft. Seriously, he is gold that exemplifies the sparkle of the Ritz-Carlton. He did everything right...got us drinks immediately, accepted a food order for apps early, checked on us constantly, but not ever annoyingly. He even swapped out our waters because it was hot out and he wanted to ensure we had cold water (can I please hire him away from you?!) The food was very good, as usual. Deviled eggs, steak tartare, watermelon salad, brussel sprouts, and fresh bread.

Warm atmosphere- average fare

By Arxitexter |

Had breakfast and later stopped by for happy hour and drinks. The atmosphere is conducive to both - with a “Restoration Hardware” aesthetic. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff is exceedingly friendly and professional. The breakfast menu is concise. I ordered the avocado toast with a single (small) poached egg. Avocado spread quite thick and topped with parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar (these toppings overwhelm the palate - for my taste, as I prefer more subtle simple flavors for breakfast). Happy hour bar service was friendly and professional - average selection of liquor, wine, and beer. Convivial atmosphere.

Christmas Buffet

By ADELINE T |

Our family had reservations for Christmas Day Buffet at 3: O’clock. We were told the restaurant was located downstairs. The lobby is lovely and we went downstairs to the restaurant and the first thing we saw was people playing pool and a bar. This was very disappointing. I thought this was a high end restaurant from the photos and some of the reviews. We were seated at a booth and it felt like a cafe atmosphere. Definitely not an upscale atmosphere. The waiter was very welcoming and very attentive throughout our dinner. Since it was buffet style we got up and served ourselves. The first station offered several types of cheeses and antipasto like meats with a small cold shrimp and oyster section. The cocktail sauce was in a mason jar. The next station had six types of salads nothing special. There was no soup or pasta station very disappointing. Then this was followed by a carving station offering Turkey and prime rib portions were about three slices of Turkey and a generous slice of prime rib the problem was the Turkey was dry and the prime rib was so rare that it looked raw. Not very appetizing. Last station had several main course options that included baked fish in a light sauce, a pasta dish with chopped Turkey and light cheese sauce, taco type beef with tortillas, and sliced baked ham that was dry and overcooked, mashed potatoes, green been casserole and assorted breads. There was also a very small selection of sushi. Everything had been sitting too long and was drying out. The desert section was the only section that offered a variety of small pastries, mini cakes in holiday shapes chocolates and a person making creme brûlée. At the end of the meal we were given the check and the grand total for three adults including drinks which were two diet sodas and one glass of wine was 534.00 dollars before gratuity which we added an additional 100.00 dollars to this made the grand total 634.00 dollars..The Ritz Carlton has an outstanding reputation but the Christmas Buffet was a complete waste of money. I have never attended a buffet that offered such a limited amount of food that was mostly lack luster and extremely unappealing. We decided to come because friends had recommended it but it was a complete disappointment. We will never repeat this experience. The price was 155.00 dollars a person but does not include drinks.

Small selection but very good. Place stays pretty busy and since COVID we have kind of lowered or expectations for service. The prices are high like everything here at the two resorts. One example is $14 for chips and salsa that you get free at any hole in the wall Mexican joint. When you are dropped off at these two hotels you are kind of held hostage.

Great Atmosphere Funky Menu

My Friends and I were dined at H&H for a bachelorette celebration. Its a beautiful restaurant with an awesome atmosphere. The level of service was superb. The menu was too far out, but interesting nonetheless. Good Experience Overall!

Kudos to the Chef!!

By Lynne L |

From start to finish, it couldn’t have been a more special meal! The staff were very personable and accommodating, even going so far as to give us bottled waters to take home as well as validating our parking / valet ticket. The food was exquisite - the kale salad, grilled romaine salad, Parker House rolls and entrees of Red Fish as well as scallops were perfectly cooked and presented. As we had a celebration, even indulged in mini donuts which are homemade and come with cappuccino (also homemade) ice cream and chocolate hazelnut spread…. Scrumptious says it all! Kudos to the chef!!!!

One of the best

We’ve been here several times now and each time has been great. Food is always excellent but the service and atmosphere is what truly sets it apart!

Fantastic experience!

Mounir, our server was exceptional! We had dinner with friends this evening. The food is fresh, vibrant and delicious. Everything from appetizers to dessert was wonderful. I can’t wait to come back!

Great food but can get very loud inside

By Vandenbrouckeb |

Excellent food, good variety of dishes. I was there several times during a conference and enjoyed it but one night there were groups next to us that talked and laughed so loud our business dinner almost went down the drain. Due to this no 5 points.

Tough Steak

By Goddawg |

The appetizers, cocktails, and atmosphere was excellent. However, I would say the steak was very tough and not the best cooked main course for the price. Waiters were very friendly.

Rob was so wonderful! We had such a great experience. He was so attentive and made our daughters birthday incredibly special for her.

Everything other reviewers said and more!

We stayed in Grande Lakes over Labor Day weekend. Over a five night trip we ate here four times. The reasons: flavorful, beautifully prepared and presented food with an extensive wine menu to match. Service was flawless and I still dream about the honeycomb (from the hotel's own bee hive) on the cheese and charcuterie plate. We preferred eating in the bar area (open seating), but I would recommend a reservation during a weekend. Would love to go back.

Very good option

We ate here 4 days for breakfast and 1 night for dinner during our weeklong stay at the Ritz. The breakfast is excellent. And service all around is very good. The bar area is great and they have a very wide range of cocktails and drinks to suit any taste. The only place we felt they fell short was the dinner. The food was good but just not as great as the breakfast. Still worth going for sure!

Not the dinner we were planning, but really delicious

We arrived for dinner and sat at a very comfortable table outside. Our waitress, Sam was excellent! Was very knowledgeable about the menu and told us about the hamburger that is not on the menu. We ordered the burger as it sounded really good. It was absolutely delicious!

They just can't get it right with me

On my last visit, last year, I was disappointed with the shrimp and grits. So I tried again. I always give a second chance. This time I ordered the scallops instead. I was served 3 (three) scallops and a 1/2 cup of vegetables. For a dinner entre. For $30. I went to bed hungry. In. A. Ritz.

Great aesthetic, delicious food and fabulous service!

We are staying at Ritz Carlton Orlando for our 3 year wedding anniversary. We made reservations on Friday around 5pm for 6pm. When we arrived they wished us a happy anniversary and sat us at a nice quiet corner with a view. We ordered the southern app, the Nashville wings, and the shrimp and grits. For desert we ordered the crème brûlée. All off our food was absolutely delicious, service was prompt as well. Our server was Mounir who was wonderful. We are Orlando natives and will absolutely be back.

Amazing!!

Excellent! Food was so tasty, service good & wine was so nice! We had the pork chops (best pork chop we ever had!) and grouper! Both dishes were delicious! Creme brûlée for desert was yummy! Topped with some amazing berries & macaroons! Our stay at this Ritz was lacking quite honestly, but this restaurant did not disappoint! So glad we dined here! :)

Great breakfast

We had the whole outdoor area to ourselves until a loud family with kids came outside... I suppose that’s to be expected in Orlando. Avocado toast was a generous portion and so many enticing options. Heads up, 18% gratuity is added to the cheque.

Outstanding

I normally do not write reviews of servers however I feel one is well deserved. We ate dinner at Highball and Harvest August 3, 2019. Our waitress Angelica was outstanding. We frequently eat out at higher end establishments and our entire party was impressed. She anticipated are needs without us having to ask. Her recommendations where spot on. Our kids were playing air hockey outside and she overheard me saying I needed to get them. She immediately said she would grab them before I could get out of my chair. Lastly, I left my Louis Vuitton purse on the chair. I returned 30 minutes later, and my purse was waiting for me at the hostess station. Lastly, the food was outstanding. The chicken winds, bread, fish, lamb and dessert was heavenly

Southern inspired

We used to visit H&H quite a bit when it first opened but as time passed the menu was pretty uninspiring. Glad to see things changed for the better now that Chef Pizzo is at the helm. Dinner was solid. We ordered the Parker house rolls, bbq kalbi, & kale salad to start. Diver scallops & redfish were excellent entrees. Strawberry cobbler was divine. Service by Mounir was just as we remembered - outstanding. Will be back soon.

Skip Highball & Harvest or the bad experience will be your fault

By AlexanderMichael |

Highball & Harvest management were both unwilling and unable to control the dozens of children who utilized the establishment as a playground. The manager told us it was “our fault” for booking dinner at the only Ritz option for children. Our server told us that there was noting she could do because they were not allowed to take control & that I should file a review. I won’t dine here again and you should understand that if you have similar bad luck, it’s your fault for booking a meal at Highball & Harvest.

Great service, delicious food...

Service was Amazing... Food was Beyond Outstanding

By Hillary T |

Robby made our dinner unforgettable. He entertained us, recommended dishes and was great at his job...They will be sorry if they ever lose him! The food was so good... our mn ain focus on vacation is where we are going to eat and this place didn't disappoint. We had young kids, food allergies and people with big appetites and not one of us had a complaint. We are going back for dinner tonight and can't wait.

Great Concept ... But High Prices

By Jeff H |

For us a new addition to the RC and a welcome one. A likeable concept of relaxed restaurant and bar with great selection of craft beers including the very local and good Surplus. It is a gastro pub! The particular room we were allocated lacked ambience but the overall feel of the place was good. Service was very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable of the dishes and beers. Unusually many of the wines are available by carafe or glass but there is also a much wider selection by bottle. Whichever way the wines are very expensive for what they are. We had the Tuna Tartar, Redfish and Shrimp Grit and each enjoyable but again very expensive for what are simple dishes. Even allowing for the RC context the poor value fir money for what is a gastro pub does detract and hence 4 stars

Bar

Great pub atmosphere. Large bar area. The bartenders have been there for years. Service was friendly and efficient. Weekends had great live music until 11.

Dinner Experience

By MKLuvsHHI |

I had a lovely experience at this restaurant! My server was Mounir. He made me feel very welcomed considering I was dining alone. I had the Parker house rolls which were delicious. They came with two types of butter, an herb and a Cajun flavored. I was surprised that I enjoyed the Cajun as it had a nice kick to it. If I had to choose one I would go with the herb. For dinner, I had the diver scallops. There were four large scallops prepared with grits, carrots and mushrooms. They were very tasty and tender. Mounir checked on me to make sure dinner was prepared to my liking. He was genuinely kind and it made me enjoy my dining experience that much more!
