11 of 49 Bars & Pubs in Miami

I cannot believe I had never been here before. It is a busy fun place. The food is typical pub. Expect wings, fries, chicken fries, and fish dip We had a a group of 12 and sat out in the covered patio. Inside is cheery and has many TVs broadcasting sports On a Monday the place was packed by 6 pm Kind of like “Cheers”

This is one of the best places in the South Miami-Dade area that has the best Beer, Burgers, Wings and other Foods. One of their food items is the Dolphin Reuben, which is great. This Hole is one of four Holes, this one being the original Hole that started it all. It is located in the Palmetto Bay area just South of the Falls.

While visiting in the Kendall area of Florida recently I was looking for a place where I could get a beer and something to eat that was not too far from where I was staying. I found Hole In The Wall on Yelp and the reviews were favorable so I decided to check them out. I was dining alone so I took a seat at the bar. The young lady behind the bar asked me what I'd like to drink and soon after brought me a Goose Island IPA. After surveying the menu I decided on their pilled pork on Texas toast with fries and coleslaw. The pork was very flavorful and was not smothered in BBQ sauce, which is just the way I like my BBQ. The fries were on point and the coleslaw was OK but I have had better. Still in the area a week later I decided to return a try their brisket. The brisket was moist and full of flavor and also not heavily sauced. The fries and coleslaw were still the same. If I lived in the area I would probably make this my go to BBQ joint, I mean they do have my favorite IPA on tap!! They have several locations the one I visited was at, 12055 SW 117th Ave Miami, FL 33186

Food is fantastic. I frequently visit as well as frequently recommend this restaurant to many of my customers. I never hesitate b/c noone is ever disappointed with the service, atmosphere, and the consistency of the delicious menu. Great place!!

Hole In The Wall Pub now has 3 locations, but we visited the one closest to my residence. The staff are friendly and have decent customer service skills. They have a variety of food on the menu: from burgers to ribs to wings to seafood. The Burgers and Hot Dogs are delicious, but as this is not a fast food joint, expect to pay at least $8.00 for a basic burger and $6.00 for a basic hot dog.The burgers are thick and juicy, not flat and pancake width, like the ones at fast food restaurants. Unfortunately if you want a cheeseburger you will have to pay extra for cheese. The burgers don't come with fries, they come with chips. You guessed it...you are welcome to pay extra to substitute fries. So before tax, and not including a beverage, a cheeseburger and french fries will cost you about $10.00. Not a huge expense, but don't expect fast food prices. If you like Corbett's Sports Bar than you will probably enjoy this place too. We will return again.

The outside is very discreet. If I wasn't with a friend who had been there, I would never have stopped. I had the dolphin tacos and the portions were great. The food was well seasoned/cooked and was enjoyable. The service was about what you'd expect from a bar, not great, but we didn't feel ignored.

Old fashion "hole in the wall", beer and great wings!!!! Seared tuna is awesome, best wings in Miami (I've looked around ) and pretty descent fish/chicken tacos Great people!

I've been buying 30 wings to go for my friends almost every Friday for the past year. This week they had a new menu. I asked for thirty wings. They said they don't have 30 wings. The new menu lists 6 wings, & 24 wings, etc. I asked for an order of 6 wings & an order of 24 wings. They arrived all together in the same container I've always gotten, except, $1.90 more. $27.90 instead of $26.00. Still a good buy....

Cool hole in the wall. Perfect name. Great food! Wings and burgers. We loved it. Definitely will go again.

The pulled pork nachos were super good and could feed 3 people. Brisket was ok but a touch fatty. Don’t come in within 30 minutes of closing or prepare for some immature attitude from the servers. You do close at 10, right? Not 9:30? If your servers are gonna be salty maybe you should just close up shop earlier.

Right next to my hotel..... thought it was McDonalds tonight bit found this place. Wicked food, ice cold beer what os there not to like.

I love their wings they are close by so easy to reach however, they are always busy. I've only had the wings here and nothing else.

Wow, great, awesome! This truly is a "college hole in the wall" place. But the food, really outstanding! We got the four blackened dolphin fish tacos! Probably the best fish tacos I've ever had... ever! Really! We also got two types of grilled wings, mild and bbq. I'm a BBQ wing guy... and again really awesome! Just unbelievably moist, meaty and hot! And the order of fries... huge! What a great spot! Loved it all!!!

Had our 36th year High School reunion this summer and found this gem by accident. Neat local bar with the coldest beer and best wings in town. Fun times, put this bar on your todo list while in the Kendall area of Miami!

Went here for the first time after seeing some FB by my friends. It certainly is a dive bar but who doesn't love a dive bar?!?! The real reason to stop though is the wings. They were fresh and super tasty!!! This will be a MUST stop every time we are in Miami.

Tried their new spot on SW 117 Ave. To start off no iced tea. They only have soda, beer and wine. Place was very uncomfortable with cold air blasting. Music at deafening volume, had to yell to talk with person across the table. All the walls are covered with large TV's on different sports stations. Asked about the wings and was told they were good. Ordered mild wings. The only good thing about them was that they were not fried but grilled. Slathered in hot sauce, hate to see what the hot wings taste like. Was only able to eat two and took rest of them home, hopefully someone will eat them. The fries were good though. We asked for separate checks which seemed to confuse them. We each paid with a $20 bill. My change listed on the receipt as $5.42 but all I got back was $5. Same for the other person with me. Ummm do they not know how to count out coins? Needless to say that 42 cents was subtracted from the tip. One visit to this is place is more than enough, will definitely not recommend to anyone and will not return.

This is a neighborhood staple in Palmetto Bay. They have two locations, one on 144th St, the other on 184th St. The location on 144th is the original 'hole', which has limited seating, but a quaint atmosphere and you'll find families of all ages. My husband loves their wings, and the fries are hand cut and unique. My favorite menu item is the blackened fish tacos, but the pulled pork is a close second. The smoked fish dip and pork nachos are also delicious. You won't be disappointed if you stop in.

Good vibe good food nice place to go with friends for a drink if u don't wanna drive to far and u live in the area

Locals pub. Very good food, great burgers, wings and fries... But, the Mahi is a must! Get a sandwich or tacos, either way you'll want more! Service is spotty due to the TINY grill and amount of to go orders they slows the food down. But sit back relax and drink a cold one while waiting... Can get expensive for a small pub.

As I'm new to the area, a neighbor recommended this plade for a beer and I loved it. Cold beer, lots to choose from. I had wings, they were great. Sat on a table with strangers that become friends within minutes. I WOULD DEFINITELY BE COMING FREQUENTLY!!

The service is always good and friendly. The food is consistently very good. The servers keep your cups refilled! Nice atmosphere that is always clean.

Today Tuesday My friend came first to this restaurant we come mostly on Tuesday. The First server ask my friend to move from the table with a booth bc they needed the table for 5 ppl and we were only two. So my friend responded that we preferred to stay in the table. Now I came around 7 and two other two servers came to the table to tell me the same thing to move cuase there were customers waiting and that were a total of 5 that our table was bigger for 5ppl after we ordered our food and drinks. Then for the third time a lady Andrea came to the table to ask please to move that the was for 5ppl and not two. What the hell is wrong with these ppl I drive far bc the tacos and the place is a place with good atmosphere. I ask one of the server the employee the name of the lady and he said it was the Manager name Andrea. Now she came to my table and told me her name is Eve or Eva on top of bad unprofessional service they lied about her name to tell me please to move. I will continue to come cuase like I said I like the tacos here but hopefully the manager that says she is the owner is not a person with professionalism. She needs to see this is wrong I guess this place is good one but if they continue to move ppl from their table they would loose customers. That lady Eva Andrea try to make the blame on me as a customer bc we did not accepted to move and why she was is she asking if she is really the owner she should just not let us stay and give her table of 5 to her favors visitors. This is not professional and good service bad bad bad

Surprisingly excellent pub food at good to really great prices. I'm a big fish taco fan have had them in dozens of places and these are hands down the best. The seared tuna appetizer is almost a meal always fresh and a tremendous bargain. Wings are good, salads extra large, burgers big and tasty. but my favorite isn't always on the menu but they'll make it anytime, the Florida Philly -- blackened dolphin done philly cheese steak style. The beer selection is strong with all the usuals plus a rotating selection of craft beers with a heavy local tilt. The staff and regulars are friendly, the decor is throwback local sports bar. If you are in South Miami-Dade looking for solid food, an unpretentious atmosphere, a beer or three, and maybe catch a game, you can't beat Hole.

So we were spending the night in the area and went to a couple of bars that were a little to shiny and full of pretty people, we jumped in a cab and told the driver to take us to a bar. More specifically a locals joint and this is where we ended up, and ended up there until closing! It is kind of hard to find as it is kind of hidden in the corner of the strip mall but once you walk in you are greeted to a true locals joint, kind of dumpy and my kind of place. We sat at the bar and immediately made friends with those around us and had amazing service. And then we ordered some food, and wow was it good! Blackened wings amongst the best I have ever had, anywhere. And the tuna is amazing! A plate you would expect to find in a 5 star joint in south beach, but 1/10th of the price. I wish I lived near here I would definitely be a regular. So many places could take tips from this place and how to serve a cold beer and decent bar food

Everything is always good at hole in the wall. I’ve never ordered anything and been disappointed. Love the salads.

I was skeptical going into this place, but I had requested the best "bar food" around, and was it ever!! Best bar burger I've ever had, pretty good mahi mahi sandwich as well. Will definitely go back!!

Small cozy nice folks good food. Cold beer good selection great burger can get it cooked the way you like it

Im not sure whats going on nowadays with customer service but its obviously in decadence. We came here referred by a good friend of ours, and its mainly a drinking pub based on the clientele. Our waitress was a 'dud' no personality just a body w a pulse. Execept for the guy who brought out our chicken wings who had a smile everybody seemed in a weird trance. They messed our order, took a long time. But wings were very good in flavor. So only in the event of craving those chicken wings would we return, knowing service will be lacking

The Taco Tuesday is official. They have Best Mahi tacos. The hot garlic wings are amazing too. Great atmosphere perfect for game day.

I go here 2-3 times a week and it’s always a great, friendly atmosphere with excellent staff. The food is the best bar food you’ll get. Great place to relax and unwind.

This little restaurant is tucked in the back of a shopping plaza. A little hard to find, but once you find it, you’ll be glad you did! Excellent food (tacos, bbq burger and grilled cheese were our choices), great service, and good prices! Would definitely recommend!

Basic menu- sandwiches, salads, wings. Great dolphin sandwich. Seared tuna as appetizer or sandwich. Only beer and a couple of low quality wines. But nicely cheap.

So we went here to try support a smaller restaurant and not just eat at the chains. I don't like making negative reviews of more family feeling places but I cant help it, with so many other choices in Miami this one is not great. We get there and NO ONE even acknowledges us at the door. We stand for a while before I see a server and ask where do we sit, she looked at us like she was surprised to see us there and says to sit anywhere. We do and it is freezing cold with air blasting right on top of you. 5 min, 10 min, almost 15 min pass and I don't see anyone, finally I ask the bartender if there is anyone working and she sends over the one server girl who told us to sit down and then FORGOT we were there.....really? So we order an appetizer and the meal....zzzzzzzzzzzzzz FOREVER ......I ask the bartender again, could she please check on the food bc people who came in after us were already eating. She went to go look, and like one other reviewer here stated, she came back 10 min later w some food.....OK, so they brought the appetizer with the meal and then said they ran out of fries and needed to cook some more. so the fries show up like 20 min later and now that we are more than half way thru the meal I could care less about them. Also, if you order fries they don't tell you that they are charging you and upgrade of $1 50 per order. ( unless its in the menu but I didn't see it) My husband didn't want fries so they said he could have a salad instead and then charged him $2 more!!! UGHGUGGH I hate places that nickel and dime you to death and don't tell you. The service sucked and since they were so slow and discombobulated they gave us our drinks for free because they knew they took forever. The bartender told me that their kitchen is not organized so they just try to push out food as they can, no order, no concern as to what or who comes first, just get the food out. Pros: Dolphin sandwich, steak sandwich and dolphin Rueben were all very good with great flavor. Fries OK Cons: lousy service but I don't think it is all the servers fault...they need to hire more people to help out...there is only 2 guys cooking in the back and one girl on the main floor. Management needs to support it staff in a much better way. you cant expect your staff to do everything with 3 people on a full house. the nachos were gross....way to salty with VELVEETA cheese!!! OMG it is just like the crap you get in the movie theater. Plus the sour cream was strange, not sure what brand it is but it was not smooth or creamy...just strange. The bill came out to over $40 with the drinks removed and we had (3) sandwiches..... to much $$$$ I wont go here again unless at a later date on trip advisor I see someone with a good review, as for now, we are going elsewhere Hope this helps you!

Just wanted local good reasonable Friday night fun... Brisket was delicious with Texas toast.. Lots of fries and reasonable. Family and couples and friends...fast service...lots tv screens and fun seating

Hole in the Wall is by far my favorite wings place in Miami; however the rest of the menu offer plenty of great options as well. The fish tacos and fish sandwiches as well as the burger are all winners. And believe it or not the Ahi Tuna dish is top notch. Cold beer and very friendly neighborhood crowd.

We were visiting family and they took us there. Kids had burgers which were great, and my husband and I shared a basket of wings. Some of the best wings I have ever had.

Such a warm friendly place with amazing food and beer in a genuine American no touristic venue, great experience superb food fab service

Convinent place close to house had great burger and fish tacos were out of this world ,will eat here over and over

This place was great. Once you can get waited on... We went to the one on sw 117 ave. family oriented. Loud, perfect for a game night. Many tcs all around like a sports bar. Huge selection of craft beers. Let's get to the food. I had the Reuben and it was great, I could eat 1/2 and borught the rest home. My husband had ribs which were meaty and perfectly grilled. However everyone raves about the shrimp po boy so I would like to try that next time. I read trip advisor while we waited for a wait person to see us and it's true, it does seem like they are too busy or under staffed or something. But the staff were friendly and accommodating after they see you.
SW 117 Ave Location - What's the point?
This place can't last long. It's a beer drinking place and the beer prices are steep. I ordered 10 wings, a half-order of fries, and a large mug of Blue Moon (beer). My total was $22 and change. Over 20 bucks for some wings and a beer?!?!?! And the wings were just okay. The fries were very good, very similar to the ones at Keg South. The service? These girls that they hire seem to be hired for one thing and it ain't their customer service skills. It took over 45 minutes for my wings & fries to come and when I asked one of them to please check on my wings she asked "Your wings?!?!". I said yes please. She hurried off towards the kitchen and I didn't hear anything from them about my order until 5 minutes later when the other girl brought them to me. I was there once before and had their burger, which as good...but between the high prices, the lousy service, and very long wait, the ambiance of old drunk men sitting on stools getting drunker, and the hit or miss food....I am done with the aptly named Hole in The Wall Pub.
