Not what I expected

By cmkrazo |

I have generally had good service at hooters. Service was poor waited 10 minute for drinks , 45 minutes for our food. Wife's salad was not correct,. Bathrooms were dirty. I was disappointed hopefully it was just because they were so busy.

Big Hooters

By babyboy7 |

Typical Hooters. Food was what you would expect but my Mac n Cheese was warm at best. Wings and beer were good. Waitress was nice and for the most part attentive. It took a while for our order to be taken and for our d egg inks to arrive. Food cam fairly quickly.

Food and Staff Awesome!

By Jack C |

Only my second visit to a Hooters. One in Newport, Kentucky and now Dallas, Texas. Will definitely be going back. My wife I ordered sliders and a side of wings. Meal was delicious. We met one part of our Texas family their and were treated promptly. Food hot and drinks cold. Building inside and out clean. Plenty of parking.

Tasty food

By JacquelineS876 |

In spite of the fact that we got our appetizer after our entree arrived we enjoyed our visit. The buffalo shrimp was especially tasty. It was crazy busy so it took quite some time to get our food but for the most part it was pretty good.

Hooters is not a family appropriate restaurant

By F0000DIE |

A basket of Buffalo wings and shrimp are the only edible dishes at Hooters but at this one in Dallas they even managed to screw this up. First batch came out cold, second batch was much better as shrimp batter was crispy. Its obvious the cooks really do not care about the food. The waitress was really helpful identifying restaurants worth visiting in Dallas and very friendly but her makeup smudged (covered-over) tattoos and black lipstick were sufficiently disgusting enough to distract from her well endowed chest. What happened to the good looking girls that Hooters used to employ? The place was rammed for a Thursday night as there was a hockey game on. What horrified me the most was the number of families in there with young kids. What are you thinking? Do you really want your children to be brough up thinking that this was of dressing if ok? Save it for watching the game and having a beer with your mates. BTW, beers were revolting and even though the waitress gave me a selection of 4 to taste from I really didnt like any.

Love it here

I have been to many different Hooters restaurants across the country. This one certainly did not disappoint. Service was quick, food good, and priced reasonably, however, I did have the wing special.

Worst Hooters/Service ever

By On-the-Go-Girl37 |

Over half the place was shut down at 6:00 on New Years Eve and on a game night at that. Man host had no clue what was going on, kept leaving his post then telling everyone 15 min wait when it was an endless wait. After 25 min we left and and saw people leaving behind us. Went right over to Dicks Last Resort and got seated and waited on in a very timely manner. Imagine that Hooters! Definitely worst and mis-managed one I've ever been to.

It was ok

By Travel Man USA |

The portions were really good and our waitress Rave, was a good server. Very friendly and courteous. Hooters has a theme so lets face it, no one goes for just the food. Well men and some women anyways. If you are going to put skimpy clothes on women in order to attract business there needs to be a certain type of server. I know that this sounds shallow, but I dont need to see another persons body hanging out of clothes that aren't made for them. I'm talking obesity. Let them wear clothes! The place was clean and there is parking garages within a block. So all in all not bad.

Bouncing to a different tune

By Partsman999 |

Great fun and service, real different beat!!! Good fun and value for all ages. I f you drive for Saturday night, parking is tight , due to the great location, with house of blues practically next door

Nice Hooters

By LostInTime |

I really like Hooters. But some are better than others. This is a good one. The wings and shrimp were great. The were served by a less than nice waitress but hey, you can't win them all. At this point I think most people really do come for the wings.

Good downtown post game visit

By MichaelKoch66 |

Family of four went to the aquarium and then came down the street to eat. This is listed as the worlds largest Hooters and it was busy on Jan 1 due to local bowl games. Service was good and the wait was only 15 minutes. Good food, good service and great place to watch a game!!

Nice busy place near downtown Dallas

By alikarim |

We went to this Hooters while waiting to go to the concert at the nearby House of Blues, for a small dinner. Hooters is known for the waitresses and this location did not disappoint. Food came out hot and piping (we ordered Quesadillas); and it was very good with the beer. Place was quite busy and hence lively. ONe section of the bar had a private party going, so lots of people, and lively. Worth going

This place is going Downhill - don't go if your hungry.

By Dino_Rose |

We arrived shortly after 5 pm on a Saturday night when there was a MAVS game in order to ensure we get to the game in time and not have to wolf down food. Had to wait about 20 min to get table (even though the place wasn't full). Ordered simple hot wings, fries and a fish platter and waited, waited, waited and waited. In our areas there were about 17 tables - only 7 tables had patrons. After 30 minutes I noticed other tables had not been served that had been seated before us. 45 minutes and waitress never returned to tell us anything about kitchen being backed up or they were chasing and plucking chickens or what was going on. So now 50 min later, we realized we better leave and find another place to eat so we can get to the game. Very disappointed! The waitress saw us get up and then the panic struck her face telling us the kitchen was backed up -- Really? Why can't anyone "warn" us ahead of time BEFORE being seated to "expect" a wait instead of killing over an hour of our time and now have to find another restaurant to go to. There seemed to be plenty of waitresses but I guess they need cooks.

Typical Hooters food.

By LPBENW |

While taking a mini vacation to Dallas over the July 4th weekend my wife & I went with some good friends to Hooters for lunch as it was close to some of the museums we were touring that afternoon. Upon arrival we were promptly seated & had our drink orders taken. Our server was very attentive to us and ensured we didn't run out of drinks. We ordered an appetizer of fried pickles for the table which were outstanding as always. When ordering food everyone ordered wings except my wife who ordered a quesadilia. Everyone commented on how good the 'medium' flavored hot wings were. But all other flavors were average at best. My wife's quesadilia was not very good. All in all this was your typical Hooters. Where you go there for good wings, but most of their other food isn't very good.

Biggest Hooters in cool spot

By Miami622 |

This Hooters is the largest in the world so that in itself makes it worth at least grabbing some wings or a beer if you are in the West End area of Dallas. If you're from out of town, it's a cool spot to hang out with Mavs/Stars fans and hopefully brag about your home team's win over theirs. The Dallas fans are great people and good sports. The girls are actually genuine and it doesn't appear they are throwing themselves at you for tips. I actually like this as you might be getting normal conversation instead of forced flirting. This also makes it a better family atmosphere. The gift shop has a decent selection of stuff and the girl working in there was very helpful and seemed to actually like her job! Overall, it's simply Hooters but I thought one of the better ones I've been to.

Great Place Anytime!

By tex1330 |

The Worlds Largest HOOTERS! Great Place for Lunch or Dinner and the service is over the top. Wings are the BEST EVER! Nice place to eat when hanging out in down town Dallas

Great Legs!! The chicken tasted great too!

By tamaraapayne |

This place was awesome! we brought our very conservative christian parents here and it was funny seeing their faces! Even they loved the food and the service was impeccable! If we lived in Dallas we would be back for sure! Sad that all of the ones in Washington State closed down.

Good food and...

For me hooters means chicken wings. I like that place: good food and beautiful girls.

Good Wings, Good Margaritas!

By reese1379 |

Hooters wings are always good except they are never dripping with sauce. Again, they taste really good but I prefer them to be a bit more moist then just served dry. The Margaritas are really good. The service here was acceptable. Our waitress wasn't really bubbly just somewhat quiet. Although she was very attentive to our needs. Maybe because we sat right next to the waitress station where they ring in the orders, etc. It wasn't crowed at all for being after 6:00pm on a Saturday night. Be careful when you walk out the restaurant because there was a homeless man sitting on the bench asking for money to treat his injured leg.

Seemed great after experience at Draft Picks

By MrFun77 |

After we had a bad experience at Draft Picks, we were still hungry and decided to cross the street to go to Hooters. Thank God for chain consistency. Our server was great and the wings were as good as expected. Overall good time. Texas is tough with 1:00am closing time, but that's not Hooters fault. Interesting crowd, good beer selection, good wings.

How can you go wrong? You can't!

By pwnaples |

The World's largest Hooters definitely hit the spot. Great staff and huge beers made the dining experience everything great you expect from Hooters. The bartenders were attentive and sweet (also very pretty) and the rest of the staff, big smiles. The food was cooked exactly as it was ordered and came out hot and delicious! I will return when I get back to Dallas.

Yeah hooters

By Leftblackshoe |

Came in on a Sunday night. Downtown Dallas is dead on Sundays. This place was busy. Service was very fast, and friendly. Server knew the product and offered and educated us about a lot of restaurant facts and fun stuff.

Food is exaggerated!

By MoWBe |

Cons: food is overly priced If your a woman, you will get ignored Waitress refused to take over priced beans off my ticket after I didn't like the taste of the canned beans! Ugh!! Pros: great place to listen to bands

Consistently good!

By JohnJovi |

Great wings, great beer, and the Angry Owl mixed drink is fantastic. Easy walk to American Airlines Center for sports and concerts!

Horrible

By Janette T |

So, lets be far it was a Saturday night. I expected it to be busy; however, when we were seated we were told our tv could be changed to the Spurs game that only had 10 minutes left of the game. It never happened. We asked several employees but the game ended and finally a manager showed up. Once we were seated it took 25 minutes to even get a waitress to our table. Who had nothing but excuses. Then it took another 45 mins. to get appetizers to the table. By that time it was almost midnight. Everyone was annoyed and tired. We asked for our order to be cancelled. The manger showed up aupwr fast to let us know there was 5 more minutes for our food to come out. SEEIOUSLY! He then argued about how busy they were. Well, not acceptable! If you are a main downtown attraction you need to be ready for the weekend. Poor management! Never coming here again. P.S. The waitress brought my change ($6) for the appetizers we had to pay for ($6.71 was supposed to be my change) and she wanted to know if she should bring out the .71 or if she could just keep it. Uhhhmmm I couldnt understand why I was even being charged. Horrible service....will never come back.

Meh

By Regina_S_G |

The food is fine, everything was served hot. Our waitress wasn't very reliable but she wasn't terrible either. The host that seated us was kind of vacant, for lack of a better word. It's just meh.

Great for wings and beer! Don't expect anything more and you will be satisfied.

No Room To Move

By 573anitaj |

Parking was cheap! Only $.75 an hour and very close to the door of the restaurant. Very large place - however, very little room to move! Extremely crowded tables.

Great Place For Dinner And Watching Sport on TV!

By Steve Y |

This is the place to go if you want real good wings, burgers and fried pickles! Staff were very friendly and pleasant and also had a "down to earth attitude" (which I value), unlike other hooters restaurants. I really did enjoy the wings (though I can't remember exactly which style sauce I chose) they were really yummy! Their burger was also really done well and was filling! I made sure I sampled their peanut buttercup cake which was to die for. Definitely recommend this place if you wanna have a good time with friends and watch some basketball or hockey on TV!

Best wings on earth

By Philip S |

Hooters delivers the best wings on earth. They come in several flavors and styles. My favorite remains - Medium wings with the breading. The dipping fries are great. My other favorite is the barbecue shrimp - terrific and nothing else like it anywhere. At my age I go for the food, but wife does not believe me.

Fun Bar

By Luis C |

We had burgers, wings and beers. Nothing to complain about. Perfect place for a fun night of beers and food, great for a sports event.

I've never been to a place where the staff clearly didn't want to be there

By Gene S |

Actually visited this location twice on my last trip as it was close to my hotel. There was a stunning blonde; tall, thin, and easily could have been a model who was at the hostess station. As a first impression, I was looking forward to the rest of my visit. Turned out she seemed to care less whether I was there, or she was filing her nails (she wasn't, but she was that bored) as it showed. In terms of beauty, I can see why she was up front except for the lackadaisical demeanor unfortunately. The staff went down from there in terms of beauty and interest. Many of the women were congregated near the food staging area talking amongst themselves. Our server was pleasant and professional but clearly conveyed an "I want to be somewhere else" attitude. That was consistent across the entire staff. I hope all locations aren't like this. The food was ok. Only two mistakes. 1) it took a couple of times to get clean silverware and 2) one of the salads come with mixed greens and we ordered romaine only; it still came with mixed greens. Mistakes notwithstanding this is either a poor location, or they are all poor. I'll try another one in another city to see which is correct.

Everything you expect from Hooters

By ysetl |

Well, addressing the typical Hooters goer: this is a great location. The service was good, the food was good, the bar had many big screens and, most relevant, the girls were attractive, very nice, a little flirty, and fit the "Hooters" brand well. Saw Dez Bryant while I was there. Enjoy!

A more than acceptable visit!

By Shaun S |

As an Englishman in American we tend to like the concept of Hooters. Food, beer and very pretty girls serving us. Hooters Dallas didn't disappoint. The food is hardly the best around but its always a tasty meal. A good beer selection and of course absolute stunners serving who all had a good sense of humour around a group of English lads and ladies. Will come back if in town again.

Poor food and service

By sayble |

Now, let me preface this review with stating that I am not rating it low because I am a female - I've actually worked at a "breastaraunt" before, and this one sucks. I had some friends in town playing at House of Blues and we all went over to Hooters to get a drink, and some of them ate. It took about 30 minutes to get a beer anytime someone needed one and the server was not attentive at all. On top of that, in the 2 hours we were there, we had 4 different servers. I took one look at the food and thought it looked disgusting (I don't eat meat anyway) so the food part of this review is on behalf of my friend. He said it just an average order or wings and fries. Other Hooters locations are far better. The only thing this place has going for it is the location. This could be why service is so poor; the in and outs of businessmen and band guys keeps the place in business regardless of quality of service or food.

Standard Hooters Experience

By Bizzy_livin |

The Wings were good and the service was attentive. The restaurant was very busy but kept up with the crowd.

Twin Hoots and a quick stop

By LDubie |

Since I just ate across the street, I had to come over to see what the largest Hooters looked like. Well kinda in a L shape but wasn't too busy after the afternoon lunch rush. I took a selfie outside the twin hoots that mark the north corner of the property! Gift shop was not stocked well, no shot glasses with city name on it, well actually no shot glasses at all. Staff did look for some for me, but no luck. Surprising the music wasn't as loud as some others I have been in. The staff were very polite and said

Excellent burgers and fries

By Kara F |

First time going to Hooters, this is supposedly the largest Hooters in the world. We just came from the zoo and were starving, so I don't know if my opinion of the food was better or worse because of that. The burger and fries, though, were very delicious. The waitress was friendly, and everyone seemed to have a good time.

First time visit to Hooters

By Lara S |

Well what better way to have my first experience of Hooters by visiting the world's largest! We visited here as a family & as a central meeting place for some fellow WWE fans from England too. We found the service & the food fantastic. They were more than accomadating with our 6 year old son & his meal alone was incredible! (He couldn't eat it all & it was a kids meal at only 3.99!) It ce with 2 chicken fillet burgers & fries. (See pic attached) I had the Texan Twisted Melt on Texan Toast which was lush & my husband indulged in a half pound burger (very good too) This place was surprisingly family friendly and completely broke the sterotypical view I'd imagine most women who haven't visited a hooters have. Definitely make a visit here, food was fantastic, the service was great & very attentive to all of us as a family & a great atmosphere.

Been Three Years - OK Place

By gpbvkb |

Had Xmas luncheon with my co-worker. It's an OK place, just like other Hooters. Food and waitress was OK. Will return next year!

Fun, fun, cold beer.

By Crossonero9 |

Great food, wings crispy and the curly fries are delicious. The girls working there are a lot of fun and are very friendly. I think its cool how they celebrate people's birthday. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich with fries which filled me up really good. We all shared some wings too which were great, they don't skimp on portions and the beers kept coming, depending on the day/time it can be really busy but I was able to get a table in 10 min. Bar is open seating but you won't want to leave.

Waitresses don't listen.

By Enrique N |

I ordered wings hot wings and got mild. I td waitress and they just poured hot sauce and shook them up. They didn't taste them right so I told them I just wanted a grilled chicken sandwich. Waitress brought me a fried chicken sandwich. I just ended up having fries.

Great service =]

By babydriftsoop |

Service here was great, girls were lovely as always especially our waitress. Food was nicely cooked and we were looked after well. Would definitely return =]

Ok Visit

By newchapter85 |

Stopped in for lunch and had oysters for the first time at a Hooters. Oysters were tasty but not properly shucked, as they were still attached to the shell. Chili cheese fries were hot and tasty. Food took a bit to arrive for not being too busy. There's a path which appears to enter to a side door of the restaurant from outside, but when one reaches the end sees an Emergency Exit Only Sign on the door. I'd recommend placing a sign at the beginning of the path to keep those from walking down the path for no reason.

Good bartenders, poor waitress

By VicandFawn |

We came in for a quick dinner before heading to the airport. Parking isn't convenient & homeless in the pay for lot. We got seated by the host/possibly manager & he took our drink order & appetizer. After that, no one else showed up. We decided to re-locate ourselves to the bar. The bartender was friendly & made up for the dining room. The new grilled chicken sandwich they have is really good.

Great Place!

By Destany Riley |

We had a great time here. We brought our 8 month old son, and the waitresses were more than welcoming. We had great service, and a great time. The Buffalo Shrimp appetizer is great (though not as spicy as we expected, since we got the Habanero BBQ season), and I ordered the crab legs which were cooked perfectly.

Wanted to be treated like garbage, then this is the place for you

By DisneyCA2012 |

Went here a few times. The first visit was ok, but the second was complete shambles. We went after an event and there was a long wait outside, which we waited before realizing after 20 minutes we had to give our name inside, but there was no indication of that for anyone outside. Then we gave our name and the person was lazy and just put down the first initial of our name. Then after inquiring almost 30 minutes later how much longer for a table, they had crossed our name off the list and filled in someone elses name for the reservation fully that started with the same first letter. It then took another 20 minutes of making sure we got the next table, to make sure we got a table and by this point it was less than an hour before closing, despite the fact that we were there for over 2 hours already. Then our waitress was as rude as could be when it came to paying. It was ok service and I paid cash and tipped 15%. I asked for some much change back and she just gave me a blank stare like "you want change back" to which I said yes. There had been a mistake in my order and she was like "I didn't charge you for the item you didn't receive." She then stormed off and went to her computer and started swearing to her co-worker (her station was right behind us,) saying "I can't believe this, I bust my #$#$ and they want change back" in the most unprofessional tone. She then eventually came back to the table and is like so you want so much change back and I was like yes (I should have said no change after this point, but maybe I'm too nice.) She then gave me literally a death stare while she gave me the change I had requested. This had to be the most unprofessional and most uncomfortable experience I have had at a restaurant. She was trying to intimidate me for a larger tip. There was group of only three of us, and we all tipped, but don't intimidate customers for money otherwise you'll get nothing. Won't return here after that experience.

Local Lunch Place

By gpbvkb |

Took my partner to lunch during the week. We were early, so we got seated right away and had a very nice, attentive waitress get us drinks and was quick with our order (burgers for both). Both burger orders were good and with a nice waitress, we'll go back again.

Bad even by Hooters standards

By marsmadness |

I normally like Hooters. Wings and fries are normally consistently good wherever you go. I have found this location to be WAY below thei standards. Poor food, cold when delivered, in attentive service, even the girls are tattoo covered and not attractive. If you like Hooters, find a different location.

In classy waitress

By Kayce B |

Watch your husbands ladies, never would I have thought I would have to worry about a restaraunt until my husband comes home bragging about his waitress writing her # on his receipt. Work and pleasure? Sure. But don't throw yourself at a married man, it makes your restaurant look trashy!! Any men want an easy date? Go to the west end and ask for Taylor L ;)

They Killed the Chicken When You Ordered

By Bigtex510 |

Went there before a Dallas Stars game on 12/19/17. Hooters must have been surprised their was a game that night. Took almost 40 minutes to get wings and two sandwiches for four people. The server kept on saying it will be soon...so isn't Christmas. When the food came out after 40 minutes it was wrong and by that time it was 7:00 and the puck was dropping in 30 minutes. Hooters could have cared less that the food took for ever and it was wrong. They did absolutely nothing and the poor waitress just said to us, I hope this won't effect my tip. It was amazing, she only cared when it was going to effect her.

This Hooters actually had great food

By Jody T |

Previously I had found other Hooters restaurants to have average food at best but I really enjoyed the food at this location. The shrimp po boy I got was excellent and the deep fried pickles were amazing and crispy!! The service was decent but the food came pretty quickly.

Virtually Ignored... Won't be back

By Craig N |

I was having a rare day off in the middle of the week a while back when I decided to indulge in my hobby of photography and went to Downtown Dallas to take some pictures. I then decided on a whim to have a late lunch at Hooter's... And immediately regretted it. Let's face it... The main reason why people, particularly us guys, go to Hooter's is not for the world class food. It's simply an overblown sports bar where you can look (and maybe drool) at pretty women in tight tops, short-shorts, and hose. The food is average to above average at best. In recent years, Hooter's is being outshined by "clones" like Twin Peaks and The Tilted Kilt. But those places also offer better food and a better variety. So why did I go there if I'm not high on the place? Simply put: It was the closes place. (Since then I've learned that there is a Dick's Last Resort and a Hard Rock Cafe nearby and would much rather go there from now on). It was around 2 in the afternoon when I went inside. The lunch crowd was gone. It was pretty thin on customers. A quiet and relaxing time. I was promptly met by the hostess and seated at a table in the main bar area... And that's when things started going downhill from there. I saw at least four waitresses buzzing about the bar area and attending to the other patrons. But it took over 15mins for a waitress (who was assisting customers 2 tables away from me) to notice I was there to get my drink order. (Again, bear in mind that the place was nearly empty. It wasn't like she was overwhelmed with other guests) I decided to indulge in a beer (just one since I was driving alone) and a water. Even though I was in the BAR AREA, it took a good 10mins or so to get the beer. When she came, I had not yet settled on what I wanted to order so she said she would be back. Another 15mins go by and I'm waiting for her return. Once again, she was attentive to the small group at the table 2 away from me... But never stopped by to check and see if I was ready. When she finally came around, I gave my order. Pretty simple: Their BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. Time starts dragging on. The table that she lavished 95% of her attention on was gone not long after I ordered and yet... She never came by to see if I needed a drink refill (I was planning on ordering a soda to go with my lunch) and it was taking nearly 30mins for my food to arrive (again... during a SLOW period). In the end, I was hungry and not in a very good mood. Didn't order that soda. I just asked her to pack it up for a "to go" order. SUDDENLY... She was asking why. WOW! SUDDENLY she's concerned about attending to me??? I didn't want to get into a discussion about it. I just asked her to pack it which she did. I paid and left. If she had been half as attentive, I would have tipped her. Got home and my burger and fries were a pile of crap in the box. Would have been better served going to McDonald's. I am not one of those guys who expect waitresses at Hooter's (or Twin Peaks or Tilted Kilt) to fawn over me and be at my beck and call. But her lack of attention was indicitive of the way Hooter's as a whole chain is going down hill. In times past, the girls were friendly and very good waitresses and hostesses. Now... They group I've run across here and at other Hooter's could give less than a damn if you even walk in. Suffice it to say... I haven't been back to a Hooter's in several months and won't ever again.

Excellent Food and Service

This is the worlds largest Hooters and the staff is excellent. Burgers and wings were awesome. near many attractions in Dallas

Best Wings yet

By victoria_adams |

Apparently the largest Hooters in the world?? This came with great service and fantastic wings so hot my husband struggled to finish - finally he has found something to beat. Atmosphere was lively with several families dining on a Wednesday night and the famous dress policy is more amusing than revealing

Always great

By DanThaMan777 |

We stay at the Intercontinental Dallas and decided to go watch the game here one night. Food is aways great at Hooters and the service at this one was not what I usually experience. Our waitress was not as friendly as I usually experience but maybe it is a Dallas thing. Anyway we went for the game and food which both were great.

Over rated but good wings

By Adventure_Mouse |

Stopped in to see what all the fuss about as I had never been to a hooters before. It is not really all about the 'hooters' as such more just the outfits themselves. The server was nice enough and the wings were pretty good. But nothing that special really compared to other sports bars!

New Smoked Ribs are great!

By JEShanks61 |

Stopped in to try their new smoked ribs after seeing a commercial on a sports channel at the airport today. I also spotted blackened Shrimp on the menu, so i tried those too. The smoked ribs were great, they should keep those on the menu. The Blackened Shrimp, not so much, way over priced and very few shrimp, will never - ever order those again. They were busy and did a good job - I sat at the bar and the staff were friendly and quick - be sure to offer a cold glass with your bottled beer - or really turn down the temp on your refrigerator

Biggest Hooters in Tx

The food was delicious and quick but our service was horrible. Im not.sure if it was because we had kids but they werent as eager to service us as with the other tables full of men! Bathrooms were also nasty!

The wait staff needs to pick it up!

By Thomas1755 |

We went there after an event at American Airlines Arena. The food was pretty good, but the wait staff was slow. I say this because this later in the evening past the dinner rush hour. The restaurant was about a quarter filled. It took forever to get things from our waitress.

Hooter's is RIPPING YOU OFF

By drano21 |

Hooter's is headed in a bad way. We go a LOT prior to concerts in downtown, and prior to Ranger games in Arlington. Then where we live on occasion up in Frisco. The issue here that is HUGE is that they are ripping you off. First off...the sides of blue cheese and ranch, they are about 1/2 the size they used to be. Again, I visited Frisco on Sunday and Dallas on Thursday and the difference is HUGE. We ran out of ranch with our fried pickles and that hasn't happened in easily 100 visits. I just think they should tell you or lower the price a bit in case you need 2, which we will. Secondly...the beer pour, beware of this scam, and the patrons around us all got vocal about it. We order the big daddy beers and every one they brought out was about an inch and a half below the rim. They will tell you that head is good for taste, well yes, but not for Miller Lite and Michelob Ultra. I asked for a glass of water with NO ICE, we poured the water up to the spot the beer was at when served. We then filled up the two glasses with another glass of water to show the waitress how much we were losing, and low and behold, it almost took the whole cup of water. You're losing anywhere from 5-7 ounces of beer on each glass. RIDICULOUS. My buddy has worked for MANY bars and this is an OLD trick that saves them $100's of dollars while charging you the same. Every single time I ask them to top it off and the bar started doing the same. I have noticed this in ALL LOCATIONS. ALSO...if you order a pitcher, TOP IT OFF TOO, if it comes out with an ice bag in it, pull that sucker out and realize you've lost 12 ounces of beer immediately. Lastly..burger was great. But on this visit, I had one ring of raw onion served with the burger. I asked for more onion and when I got the bill they charged me for onion, GRILLED ONION. I asked the waitress about it after I told her there wasn't hardly any served, and she said that they always charge. I beg your pardon, again, I do it more than 4 times a month, and they have NEVER charged me. And why did it say GRILLED, we didn't have grilled onions. I haven't been to any other sites since this visit, but will go back this Friday prior to baseball game, look forward to seeing if this is a habit in other places. I asked a gentleman about the issues during our meal, he was in a managerial shirt, but he said he wasn't a manager, so I thought someone would come by...no one ever did. We are looking to the pizza joint down the road from now on prior to concerts/sporting events, ridiculous and I don't understand why.

Hooters never sucks

By Almostbrady |

I'll start by saying we love hooters and have NEVER had a bad experience at this one, until now. We met up with another couple before the mavs game. First of all one of in our party ordered a Coors original(was on the menu). She came back with a light- said she couldn't find the other one on her screen to order it. Then we waited around 40 minutes for food (ran out of beer for at least 20 minutes). Got our food, one order was wrong. The other - our wing sampler was cold. Of course can't find our waitress- Danielle. Who knows where she has been because it's not been being attentive. We find a manager who said he would take care of some stuff on our bill. We agree. And thank him. Ok we're finishing up and want our check. Oh can't find anyone. Find Danielle and guess what, our checks hadn't been touched by the manager. She finds someone to take off $6. We didn't have time to mess with this so we paid and left. $40 for terrible food.

Good food

Come on, its a Hooters...

Come on, its a Hooters...

The restaurant was empty,2 hour wait for a table, everyone was in the Lobby!

By LoneStarRuby |

I usually like the friendly environment at all the other Hooters that I have visited but this one was packed, had a 2 hour wait list and half the restaurant was empty! The hostess was rude and after waiting for about 30 minutes and no one had been seated,we left..

OK food, but this is not a clean place

By TravelerJLB |

Went during Monday night football. The place was hopping. Got a menu with pages stuck together somehow. Not a great first impression. Ordered our beer....waitress didn't ask what size we wanted so we got the BIG one. It was OK. We then ordered our food before my wife went up to go to the bathroom. The rest room was so disgusting that she couldn't use it. She tried a second, only to have a similar experience. I won't share details since readers of this are likely planing to eat soon. Needless to say we wanted to get the heck out of there, but had already ordered were stuck. She held on like a champ until we could scarf down our food. The food might have been OK, but the whole unclean feeling of the place made the food feel unclean. This was four days ago and I still feel like I need to become a vegetarian as a penance. If you try this place, I would suggest that you look around before you commit. Every business has bad days, and this may have been Hooter's. But I would not go back to this one.

Sucky Customer Service

By Bayou_Baby_Boy |

1st of all.. They have a problem seating people in time. There are many available seats, but the hosts were seemed out of place. We decided to ask about the available seats and the response was: They didnt want to seat people and the waitresses couldnt handle the amount of people in the section. There were people waiting for 45 minutes when there were seating available. Management should be ashamed. one guy came in and decided to go sit at one of the empty tables and they made him get up. And they still.. didnt fill the 4 tables in that section. They seated us because we continued to be in their face about each free table so our wait was cut short. They have their waitresses too spread out instead of having a certain number work in each section. Poor management is clearly shown. 2nd.. as we finally got seated.. i could hear another waitress tell a customer very impolitely not to call her by the name on her badge. How were they suppose to know she lost here badge, which she repeated after the fact.. numerous times, so she put on someone else's, which has another name. All she had to do was tell them her name once she greated them. The food was not the greatest. The wings were very small and the strips were kinda flat. The taste was also less flavorful. I would be embarrassed to represent this building. There were some pretty girls but the attitude of some of them was horrible. One good thing was our own particular waitress. She was frustrated but was very polite to us. She was very attentive, she smiled, and she did perform appropriately. I applaud Mykala. We give her much Thanks for improving the visit. Management of this building really needs to be re-evaluated.

Hooters Wings # 1

By dazk55 |

great food & cold beer ! The service was great and the layout of the bar & seating areas meant I could watch at least 2 sports games at the same time !... Also some good merchandise to buy ! Enjoy, I did !!

Great Bar..

Called in for beers and wings during a visit to Dallas, great service levels, good wings and cold beer, perfect!!

Marquee Hooters Establishment

By ser968 |

We were told that this is the largest Hooters restaurant (it did seem pretty big) and the interior of the restaurant seemed to have a refreshed design. In my journeys, I have found that not all Hooters are the same, but this restaurant made very good wings. The service was also very good. We tried to visit Hooters again the following evening (we were visiting Dallas), but there was a long wait to get in - I guess others think the same!

it could be better

By Steven W |

friendly service, just to much waiting time to be seated, unless you sit at the bar. I don't drink and to have to sit at the bar all the time is not fair. Really wish they would open one out on I-20 and Hampton area.

BOOM! Football, Beer, all you can eat Chicken and hotties!!!

By Mavericks-Football |

BOOM! Football, Beer, all you can eat Chicken and hotties!!! What's not to like? The women wear small cloths and are hot. Hooters rocks, $15 for all you can eat Chicken and free refills on Dr Pepper, Hooters makes me happy.

Just another sports bar

By CJIG106 |

Probably should've gone to the Hard Rock Café across the street but my 16 year old wanted to check it out. I knew the wings would be breaded, but the volume of bread just made the wings look bigger - but there wasn't any more meat on the bones. And the flavor was so-so. Staff were very efficient and my 16 year old enjoyed the attention.

Sat on the bar. Seated quickly enough. Got the original platter. Wings came hot. Shrimp and boneless were a little cold. Still enjoyed it.

I just love love love the food. I always get it ordered on Uber eats too. The food is fresh and made quickly

Cody the Manager need a new job

By hector125 |

We were a party of 8. The manager told us that he did not have any tables available when there was many. He told us he could split us but the tables were far away from each other. He then told us that he had some closed sections which were near the open tables and he REFUSED to send a waiter to serve us. He was very rude and certainly he did not want to open a table to not have to clean again. A sale is a sale and if I was the owner Cody would be fired right away!

No Just No

By Brandon E |

Server was more interested in messing around with the other workers than doing her job. The wings are overpriced and undersized compared to other wing places. I said that I didn't want fries and was brought and charged for fries. My friend said he didn't want a beer and was brought a beer anyways. I think i'm done with Hooters. It's just not worth the headache anymore.

Largest Hooters in the World (According to the sign) - Fun for everyone

By Glen D |

We needed access to WIFI as it was only our second day in the USA so we found Hooters which was close to the Perot where we had just been. The service was ok, however the food was really good. The staff tried but they seemed to be a bit over run. We enjoyed our meals, the WIFI and the air con. The kids also enjoyed all the sport on the TVs.

Love it

By blackdiamondxxx |

Our waitress was friendly and made sure she checked in on us. We were here visiting and decided to watch the football game here. The food was great, atmosphere was great and bathrooms clean!

Not the healthiest food...

By Michael B |

Not the healthiest food, but it sure is tasty. And the waitstaff is hotter than the wings. Look for Alison.

Great lunch

By Lisa G |

Came here after visiting the Perot museum. Food was good and server was very helpful and polite. I had the fish tacos which were generous. Overall a good experience.

Plenty of seating, typical Hooter's fare, good service

By David F |

Had lunch at the downtown Hooters. Good service, reasonable price, and plenty of space to work and discuss work topics. The Wi-fi was not working, and the fries were horribly under cooked. The value was good and we will go back.

One Of The Better Hooters

By maui4dave |

Having visited many Hooters over the years I have to say this is one of the better ones. The place was big the beer was cold and the girls were hot.

Good wings average at best service

By smiller560 |

Love all the TV's and they had every possible football game on. Small crowd for a Sunday afternoon, but that seems to be the general trend at Hooters. Sat at the bar, could not get the free internet to work. Bartender didn't care much said yes we do have free internet then left. The wings were very good. Legs could have been cooked 30 seconds more but overall hot and juicy. The service, lacking at best. The bartender kept busy at the other end of the bar so I did not get great service.

Largest Hooters in the world

By ransom007 |

There are pay-to-park lots in the vicinity. According to the sign on the wall, this is the largest Hooters restaurant in the world and I can believe it. It is typical of Hooters with full bar service, patio dining, and plenty of televisions showing sporting events. My server was friendly and attentive and my food was excellent.

waitstaff doesn't seen to want to be there

By Kathy F |

We decided to have lunch here Sunday around 1pm. The place did not seem to me to be busy. Wanted a quick bite before meeting someone at nearby Perot Museum. We were seated right away but waitresses kept walking by, not a word such as "be with you in a minute" Finally a tall thin blond came to the table and we told here we would order drinks and food right away. My impression from her voice, manner and look on her face was that she was disinterested. In awhile shebrought the drinks; one at a time, not all together on a tray. Waited, waited, what seemed quite a long time. We even considered just paying for the drinks and leaving since we were to meet others at the Perot. At last a different girl brought out the appetizer we ordered to share. About the appetizer; we got the sampler platter and the menu doesn't state how many of each areon it. Well its 3 cheese sticks (there were 4 of us, 3 large and one tiny onion ring, and a big pile of fried pickles. Another long wait and the second girl brought out our order, she seemed almost surley. No happy smile, no comment to enjoy our food, just plopped it down and gone. The blonde did stop back a couple times, mostly to see if we wanted more drinks. But each time i had the sense she'd really rather be doing something else. No warmth, or personality. Perhaps as quiet as it seemed to be, Sunday afternoon is not a desirable shift, and they were upset about having to work it. Overall the food was ok with some exceptions. The onion rings that were there were dripping grease, but the cheese sticks were good. The Bloody Mary tasted like mostly hot sauce with a splash of tomato juice. The sliders and curly fried were good. Can't speak to the chicken sandwich as the other couple didn't comment. This was my first time at a Hooters but my husbans has been to others and said this was the worst for long wait and poor waitresses.

Went for late lunch and a couple of drinks. A very good crowd at 3pm in afternoon .Probably the largest Hooters that we have ever been in. Lots of staff on hand and the food was very good.

Great standard Hooters.

By SaSo00 |

Friendly host and very pleasant waitress. We visited here twice on our Dallas trip. The food was as good as any other Hooters we have been to and the staff were all lovely. Average wait for food but the multiple tvs made it a pleasure to hang out& sip our refillable sodas. I was served the wrong burger by mistake but it was so yummy I didn't bother saying anything & chomped it down! We always get the boneless wings in 2 flavours& a side of tots, well worth a visit.

A good place to go to avoid Dick's Last Resort!

By hobofosho |

My boyfriend and I originally went to Dick's Last Resort, right by this Hooters. After receiving HORRIBLE service at Dick's, we decided to come in here after a concert at the House of Blues. The service was great, the server was friendly and helpful, and the manager even came by the table to see how we were doing. While I normally like to eat new places when I travel, I really enjoyed this Hooters and would come here again.

Nice girls

By mack0168 |

The wings are pretty average. The beer and the view are all good though. Very friendly, Texas style and pretty girls. We had a good time here.

Hot Food, average service

By OliLea |

Very good chicken wings. I only took those 🌶🌶 and it was so hot. The starter platter was also pretty good - with Mozzarella sticks, onion rings and a lot of pickles. The service was average - kind of nice but not convincing

My mistake: we ordered shrimp

By bullwinkle63 |

Have been to many Hooters and been very satisfied, but not here. We ordered one pound of steamed shrimp. It had absolutely no flavor of its own. Going beyond this, the restaurant floor was littered with food and tables were left cluttered with dirty dishes.

The worlds largest Hooters...

By tk1323 |

I didn't eat here. I only went to get a photo with the waitresses and to get a uniform shirt. They couldn't sell me one, but I got a T-Shirt with old design, and a T-Shirt with the Dallas Skyline on it, including the Hooters. This Hooters is the worlds largest. Wow. It was pretty big. Outside they had two adorable owl statues, so of course, I had to take a selfie with them. I got a photo with five waitresses and they had the most adorable sign. Customers: No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service. Hooters Girls: Tight Shirt, Short Shorts, Great Service. I just loved that.

Excellent Hooters

By Steve |

Had a really nice lunch here at Hooters today. Friendly staff and waitress - very attentive and polite. Food was excellent. We just shared a couple of starters and wings. Great that you can choose the hotness and flavour of the wings. The meal and drinks were very good value and would certainly recommend this Hooters.
