THE Place to Stay in Dallas, Texas

By Robert F |

I have been traveling for my entire, professional career. Dallas is one of my favourite cities, and the Crescent Court is my favourite place to stay! From George at the Valet, and Sophie/Louis in the Cafe. From Abdullah at the Bell Desk, to Angel at the Front Desk and Jim the Concierge - the Crescent Court always delivers. The surroundings are elegant, comfortable, sparkling clean - and the club on the 17th floor is magnificent. Staff and premises always take their cue from management - and the Crescent Court is no exception: Enter General Manager Mr. Shawn Nayyar: Mr. Nayyar is always gracious, charming, and welcoming – truly an accomplished and elegant hotel professional. I also noticed that his staff both respected and admired him as a manager – crucial components for a successful leader. In summation: If you are a business traveler like I am, and Dallas is on your list of stops, then I highly recommend that you stay at this hotel - or at least stop in and say “hello” to these amazing professionals.

Wonderful again!

Everything here is top notch- service, cleanliness, food, rooms. Beautiful lobby. Best part: Pet Freindly! You can even get a pet amenity! Our golden retriever loves coming here!

Great hotel in great location with great service but for the price needs to do more

By MillionMiler17 |

The hotel is in a great location central to many business areas and surrounded by great restaurants. It has a Nobu off the lobby (not recommended and wasn’t taken into account on the rating) and a starbucks right beside the property. The hotel is in spectacular condition as I believe it was renovated just last year. Its has an amazing lobby area great for meetings and having a drink at the end of the day as well as the guest rooms are large, well appointed and very comfortable. Fantastic desk area in the rooms as well for working. The staff are extremely good and customer focused. With all this why only 4 stars; 1) the internet was poor and slow. I had multiple drops while there trying to do a video call. For this level of hotel they should have had better service 2) I hate hotels that don’t put real ironing boards in their room but instead put the ones that go on top of a dresser or desk to have to use them. for luxury hotel put in a real ironing board. 3) In the morning i had a wake up call I never asked for at 5.30am. While mistakes happen and the first one didn’t bother me and i explained to the person they had the wrong number for which they apologized, another person called back 5 minutes later just to make sure i was up .... uggg. 4) For the price i expect flawless execution and attention to details. that all being said if i needed to be in the area again i would certainly stay here.

WONDERFUL

Birthday Bummer

By RondaGray |

We rented the penthouse, the adjoining suite and another room for a one night stay after the OU Game. I will start with the positive, the suite was huge. The problem was it is very outdated and next kept up at all. I noticed a dirty floor the second we walked in the penthouse and the carpet was wet from a leak. We are at Nobu which was really good! We all slept great so the beds were comfy but breakfast at the restaurant was horrible. I had to send my egg white omelette back. It was runny. We had to ask for cream multiple times for the coffee and the waitress brought warm milk. I won't stay here again! They are letting it get run down. I wanted to put captions on the photos to tell you what you are looking at but not able too. One is stains on the curtains at the restaurant, the other pics of of the room and then the amazing pineapple-tini at Nobu.

our visit from July 14 to 19

By Matvei G |

My wife and myself were visiting Dallas, and staying in Hotel Crescent Court. We were greeted by very pleasant hosts in the reception area, the room was clean and had all the amenities, the dining in the hotel was excellent. The staff was friendly, polite and willing to help with any needs. We liked our stay very much, and highly recommend this hotel in the center of the Dallas to our family and friends. Special Thanks to Angel Jaimes, Jeffry Booty, and Louis Ali Ford.

Great customer Service

By Shannon C |

Staying on business. jean Pierre overheard us mention we wanted soda water in room, he showed up with ice and soda water later in evening!!!!! He was amazing. Bed is super comfy and shower products (Milton Brown) are really nice.

Perfect

By Bioteam |

I came one evening after my appointments, I was with a client and we were very well received like VIPs, the staff is chic and professional, the setting is warm and friendly and the cocktails are delicious

Great front desk and high service levels

By EDoubleup |

Had a seamless check in experience. The room service Valet was very professional and courteous. Usman thank you for your time and excellent service.

Expensive, small portions, and not very good.

By Dukester |

Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Maybe it's because it was only breakfast. Three of us ate, none of us finished our meals even though the portions were very small. $89 later we left unsatisfied. At least the coffee was decent.

Breakfast at the Conservatory in Hotel

By 999LauraP582 |

Oh my heavens, sugar overload again with Their giant warm cinnamon roll. The waitress TOLD us it was really big-guess we didn’t really believe her! She sat it down and we all gasped at the size! Looked like a cake. Over ten inches across, warm and gooey and surrounded with fruit. Covered in white frosting. Four of us couldn’t even finish it. Regular breakfast was lovely though costly. Service was excellent!!

Great service

By Wendell B |

The restaurant in the lobby area has a good breakfast. I was in a hurry and Nancy served me quickly, with a great positive attitude. I would definitely go back again. There is also a good bar in the lobby.

Always Fantastic

By Ami D |

We stayed here to celebrate a major birthday and decided to upgrade to a suite, we had stayed here on other occasions and wondered what the suites looked like considering how well apportioned their rooms are, well we found out, they are sensational!!! I can't say enough about the Crescent, every time we're there it feels like home, the staff is always extremely pleasant and genuine, we really love how welcoming this hotel is, I always look at it first when we're staying in Dallas; well worth the additional dollars!!

Timely and Delicious Room Service Breakfast

By 149brendak |

I always enjoy room service at the Crescent. It's a true dining pleasure for me, in the relaxation and comfort of my fabulous room. It is delivered exactly on time and the service is impeccable. It is a little pricey, but well worth the expense, if you want to relax and rest.

Best service ever

Retirement Dinner

By Larry T |

From the happy hour in the bar to the last sip of the evening, it was great evening. This date was a special function so used a private dining room. The attention, service and food was superb. I find the quality and professionalism of the Crescent Club to be consistent. I've always been extremely pleased with my dining experience at the Club.

Great experience!

By MOKEIK |

While visiting local universities with my daughter we stayed at the Hotel Crescent Court in Dallas and had a great time. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, features Nobu restaurant and a great spa. We had massages in the spa on a rainy and cold day. Melissa went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. The massage therapists Kerra and Gladys were AMAZING! So kind, friendly and skilled therapists. The hotel lobby bar is great. The bartender, (young lady didn't get her name) was super friendly and service was fab!

love the architecture

By The Traveling Hijabista |

Love the architecture! My sister-in-law had her wedding here and it was soooooo beautiful. They have a beautiful outside courthouse, where she had her ceremony, and the pictures were stunning. They also have Nobu attached to the lobby. Check it out in December, their christmas decor is so elegant! love it.

Belated birthday

By Road94524 |

Had an awesome time here our servers Kay and Pierre were the best that we have had. Very personable and attention to detail was five star. Will definitely come back!!!

Terrible

By C. G |

On 5/19/2014 we had brunch The restaurant was extremely disorganized, all the tables around were dirty and not picked up after the costumers finished eating . The food was disgusting and if checked possibly a health hazard. We could not finish the dishes served . The service was terrible. Imagine how the kitchen might have been. ?

Personal service

By azadams |

If you want persalized service, the Cresent is the place to stay! They ask about your preferences and they follow through!

The views may be nice from the Crescent Club Restaurant, but the food is not top notch

By NYCminute |

We did not enjoy our experience or dinner last week. The steak came out with a mint sauce instead of Horseradish. We were asked if they should just scrape it off. Really? A new steak was cooked, sauce kept on the side until we did a taste of which one was mint and which one was horseradish. I guess they thought we didn't know what mint tasted like. Anyhow, not the meal you would expect in such beautiful surroundings. The Salmon was rubbery.

Friendly!

Great place to have a glass of wine!

I love going to the hotel, have a glass of wine and have a great conversation with Kelly the bartender, who is also a sommelier! It is a beautiful open bar to just sit down and relax.

Horrible High Tea Experience

By cindyc7012015 |

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. Today my friend and I went to the Rosewood Crescent Hotel for our much anticipated afternoon High Tea experience. The service was mediocre at best and the food was absolutely DISGUSTING. Our first course was a plate of four tiny sandwich type items. Imagine stale bread with some creamy 'stuff' spread in the middle. The bread was so stale that it was barely chewable and the staleness also added some extra 'flavoring' to the creamy spread. Let us say that one can get better bread at Walmart. The second course were some lemon and strawberry scones. Only the lemon scones were edible. By that I mean that I was able to swallow them when washed down with tea. The third course were four small dessert items that were overly sweet and absolutely nothing to rave about. I suggest whoever created these food items and management taste their products before inflicting such products on customers. If the Crescent Hotel would like to rank themselves as an establishment for fine dining, they should make it FINE. This was only a reminder of most fine dining experiences to be had in Dallas (or should I call them NOT FINE dining experiences). Everything this afternoon was a sad attempt at imitating an English High Tea experience. From all my travels, I can honestly say that this is the worst high tea experience I have ever had. The only thing high about this experience was the price of $40 per person excluding taxes and gratuity. Do not recommend and will not come back.

Finally A Staycation

By Danmcneill |

Finally was able to get out and doma little staycation. My wife and I visited for our 13th wedding anniversary. The hotel is total first class as you would expect. First class without making you feel uncomfortable if you know what I mean. We enjoyed their wonderful pool and the rooms are 5 star. Hotel staff was perfect as expected. Dropped off some champagne for us in our room which was very nice. I had questions about my bill and the GM immediately responded. If traveling from out of town or just need a place to get away this place is perfect. Not too crowded either which made us feel safe. In fact all the things they do to keep you Covid safe was on point.

Wedding at the Cresent

By Clarita E |

Attended a wedding here in June and hands down the best service we received was from Jonathan **night shift staff. He made sure we had waters, amazing conversation and provided much history about Dallas. I removed a star because our shower was flooded which was annoying and we had to change rooms. Also the hardware in the new room was broken. Example: the rack to hand the towels were loose and the other hook to hang was missing (in the restroom). Besides that Jonathan, was amazing and would be the reason why we come back to this hotel and/or recommend anyone here. Goooo Jonathan!!!!

High Tea - Mother's Surprise Party

By Reese9_tx |

The Conservatory at the Hotel Crescent Court was the location for my Mother's 85th Surprise Birthday Party. Cameron Bowan was my point of contact and he made the stress of planning this event go away! Zene took care of us during the event and she was a dream. So kind and attentive. She made every guest feel special - like they were the guest of honor. Thank you all for making my Mother's Birthday - as she refers to it -"one of the best days of my life"

Best thing to wake up too

By Beach_mommy2 |

Stayed for a little romantic weekend....waking up and going down to the court was perfect....surrounded by beautiful trees, fresh coffee, hot breakfast.... just picture perfect

Inconsistent rooms

By JPJ |

I stayed at this hotel many times, and each time, my room looks very different. There are certain rooms that are totally dark, dreary and outdated. And then there are rooms that are bright, sunny and beautifully appointed. I guess it's just the luck of the draw. For the price, I say this hotel is very average.

Crescent Court Service

By Kevin S |

I had a business meeting and drinks at the lobby bar in Crescent Court and Jenna was awesome. Great drinks, atmosphere, and service made for a great meeting. Thx Jenna for a great job!!

The Conservatory - Great breakfast, but really expensive

By divefan |

We had two coffees, bacon, eggs, toast and potatoes, and with the tip our bill was $67. We didn't even have Bloody Marys - I promise! That said, the waiter was just the right amount of attentive, the coffee was great, and you get your own small pot for refills. The toast was excellent - actually toasted instead of the anemic warm bread that one is so often served.

Maria is great

By houston989 |

Had drinks at beau mash. Maria is the best. So professional. Not to be missed. Pleasant experience. Great atmosphere. Maria is so nice and adds to the experience. I will be going back and you should too.

Phenomenal service

By Raquel C |

My husband and I are in town for work. Always stay at the Crescent decide to have breakfast here for the first time. Zene was our sever she was so sweet and checked in on us frequently. She definitely made the breakfast a pleasant experience. The breakfast was super yummy I got the avocado toast and a chamomile tea. Will definitely be back!

Breakfast here is divine...plus the most wonderful staff!

By GulfStream14 |

The eggs benedict are the best--I order at almost every hotel we go to and it is perfect at the Crescent. Jonathan Slocum was our server for our last trip and he was so pleasant it made it the most wonderful breakfast when we were with other members of our family and also when it was just me with my husband. Can't wait to go back!

Beau Nash

By s loomis |

Kelly of Beau Nash is amazing on all accounts. Professional, friendly, timely, and beyond well-suited to keep the perfect atmosphere at Hotel Crescent Court. I sincerely enjoy his company and service!

Capitol Club WOWS!!!!!!!!

By Suzin S |

When you stay at the Crescent Court Hotel a visit to the 17th floor is a must! The Capitol Club has an amazing and very comfortable bar. Drinks were mixed to perfection and the food is wonderful. We had the jumbo shrimp cocktails and pork sliders. Martinis, dirty and chocolate were wonderful. A very comfortable setting with a view of the city. Think about it.....17 floors above the hotel provides a wonderful view. Breathtaking!

Yummy drinks!

By Nicole W |

We stayed at the Crescent for a couple of nights while attending Market and loved the proximity to restaurants. We had a couple of cocktails before dinner and they had a great price point and were delish!

Bring your wallet

By ldtblitz |

One of the most expensive breakfast meals I have ever had. I didn't even pay for this meal (I was on travel and my company did) but no matter how good the meal was, I could not stop thinking about the cost and how overpriced it seemed/was. And I have eaten at some really expensive places (where you feel like the place is justified in charging so much), so it was not the cost, but the idea that a hotel restaurant would gouge guests, instead of charging a fair price. I had b'fast here with a friend, who was similarly stunned by the cost, and we both had the same dish, biscuits and gravy (which was actually very good!). Our server was nice and treated us well.

Great service

By linnie26 |

Zene our wait person was excellent. Very personable. My frittata was mediocre but the other meal at the table was very good. Zene made the day.

Beau Nash is awesome.

By Rachel J |

My boyfriend and I had heard about the new champagne bar, and this weekend we were finally able to check it out. Shelby, the bartender, was wonderful. She helped direct us thru the menu with wine and food. Everything was super.. will definitely be back again.

My Dallas Home Away from Home

By Caroline M |

This is my second visit to the Crescent Court and it exceeded my expectations. The Staff was not just friendly but passionate about serving and always extending a level of hospitality that goes beyond what is expected. From the GM to the servers in the restaurant it was apparent everyone shared an Esprit De Corps that Rosewood should be proud of. Thank you for taking such great care of my on my visit to Dallas, I look forward to my return soon.

Awesome Service!

By cassiebaby944 |

Great atmosphere and nice attentive staff! Shelby was serving me at the bar and she was so nice and had great recommendations. Nice place to have after work drinks and good hang out before the concerts or games at the AAC.

Divine meal, amazing staff

By EBDover |

The 17th floor Rotisserie Room at the Crescent Club has a spectacular view. The meal was delicious with a beautiful presentation. I have a nut allergy and the staff was very accommodating and alert. You should make it a point to visit here while in Dallas.

Crescent Court Nutcracker Holiday Tea/Winter Tea a must miss

By Tom D |

Well, the search for a afternoon tea comparable to an English tea is pretty much over. Because we finally found one equal to an English 5 star hotel tea? No. Because there is no place in the US that we have found that even comes close to an authentic English team experience. Perhaps our bar is set too high? We took the QM2 to UK and after a stay in London went over to Dublin. We have tea in both areas, the Shelbourne in Dublin being the last. We thought $55 Euros ahead was steep but the tea was fantastic and everything was way more than you could eat, plus they wrapped up anything left to take with you. So, decide the Hotel Crescent Courts holiday tea may measure up. Wife bought tickets, $117 a head and we just return from one of the biggest rip offs I have ever been to. First, the tea is in the hotel lobby, not a good sign at all. It set up right next to the bar and across from the hotel desk. Thankfully the family either checking in or out with their screaming child were soon gone so a harp player in the corner could set a better mood. There were two teas to choose from, neither a standard Earl Gray, think more botanicals, a black and green. The black tea was not bad but not very robust. The sandwiches were OK, think new wave chef trying to make a name for themselves, ham with orange marmalade, turkey with cranberry and brie, crab salad on pumpernickel (this was pretty good once you got past the stale bread). The desert consisted of scones, which were baked too long to the point of crumbling and nothing like an actual English scone, I believe one was gingerbread and the other some unidentifiable flavor. These were accompanied by two quarter sized deserts; a peppermint cheese cake, a cranberry tart, a postage stamp sized fruit cake and a small gingerbread cookie. All were disappointing to my palate, which I guess made their diminutive size a blessing. As the bar is right next to the tea area one was periodically subjected to the bar tender tossing bottles in the trash to liven things up, a benefit to the ambiance? I think not. Service was very attentive and friendly, the only highlight of this experience. This holiday tea has apparently been offered for many years, which only means the adage that a sucker is born every minute is true! Do not be a sucker. Would I recommend spending $234 for two at the Crescent Court for a holiday tea? I think its obvious but to be sure...NO. Save your money for a trip to the UK and have a tea as it was meant to be, do not waste your money on this "afternoon tea tradition".

Great service

Wonderful Overnight Stay

By Global401747 |

We had a wonderful breakfast experience. Zene was our server and she took great care of us. We asked if they still served the maple cream with their breakfast oats and Zene said it had been awhile since they had that. She heated cream and brought warm maple syrup as a substitute. We will definitely be back!

Best in class in dallas !!!!

By Scipiotrout |

The newly renovated hotel is a beauty! The rooms are beautiful, quiet, comfortable. The lobby is great. The location is a 10. Staff is really trying to be the best. The gym!!!!! Wow. They are still doing some minor renovating, nothing that bothered me. This is the best luxury option in dallas now, no doubt.

Check Out the New Lobby Bar

By Ansel C |

The Crescent Court Hotel has completed its renovation, and the results are great. The updated Lobby Bar outside of Beau Nash is great for both food and drink. I ate there twice and J. Nelson made excellent recommendations both times.

Lobby Bar

Amazing experience at the lobby bar!! Sabrina and Kay did an amazing job of making “outta towners” welcome. We had custom cocktails with infused bourbon. Great service !! Great place !! MG

SLEEPLESS AT THE CRESCENT

By upstateNYmomof2 |

Due to thin, poorly-installed balcony doors and a night club (that we were unaware of) literally a stones throw from our room, we spent the sleepless night listening to police whistles, drag-racing sounds, yelling, screaming, horns honking. And as it escalated through the night, we were just waiting for a gun shot! JUST HORRIBLE!!

Ignacio at the Spa Made the Trip

By Charles L |

I stay at Hotel Crescent Court quite a bit and also am an avid spa enthusiast. Ignacio, who works at the spa, is one the most attentive workers to the spa patrons needs I've ever seen. The hotel is amazing as well. One of the best Dallas has to offer!

Great breakfast with friendly service

By Andrew |

The service is friendly and welcoming. I had breakfast here during my stay and it was a great start to the day. Food is nicely cooked. As you can see, I went for the healthy option :o)

Classic Older Hotel

By mthom100 |

Nicely appointed lobby, serviceable and spacious rooms, and a gym that far eclipses what most hotels offer. The staff is gracious and attentive... The lobby bar is tiny, but the pours are generous. Easy access to local shops and restaurants.

Birthday Brunch

By Kristie B |

First time to visit the Crescent and not a good experience so far!! Made a reservation for 2 for brunch at the Conservatory to celebrate my Husbands birthday. Got to restaurant 10minutes early, had no tables, finally offered us a round table for 8. I declined, then they put us at a table for four out in the lobby!! Terribly loud, constant traffic, and very slow service. Not to mention a couple of Flys bugging us the entire time. Food being good is the only thing that saved the meal! Now if we could just get checked into our room before our scheduled spa appointments 😬

usman

By Ann S |

Great room service! Food cam as promised in 30 minutes, and unman was very polite and courteous. Have been staying here for 30 years and it is always a pleasure.

Very good hotel, and update will really help

By George S |

The Crescent Court is a solid hotel with excellent staff, and its modernization program will really help. I have always been impressed with the customer service in my years coming here on business (for example on this most recent trip, Lauren at the front desk promptly and professionally reassigned me to a more suitable room, away from the elevators), and the room service is quite good and reasonably priced. What are the drawbacks? Currently the hotel is going through a renovation program which limits room availability, and this renovation program is needed. The hotel has become a touch dated - it was opened in the late 1980s and exudes a "Dallas" (as in the TV series, for those old enough to remember) chic, with lots of gold and marble. The rooms also need a few more electrical and USB outlets by the desks for those working (or typing Trip Advisor reviews), Keurig coffee machines, and other amenities seen in newer, upscale hotels. Bottom line, the CC is an old friend and gets a 4, and will probably become a 5 once its update is completed.

We've have come here for years...

By Scott Charles |

Still one of the nicest hotels in Dallas. Makes the Mansion look like a Marriott. Big rooms that are very tasteful. The lobby is beautiful. You have Nobu to get some serious sushi. What's not to love!

The Best Holiday Tea at the Crescent

By Lidya |

After disappointing holiday tea at the Adolphus last year, we decided to go to the Crescent hotel this year. We were surprised that we found Fi at the Crescent. She used to take care of us for years. The food and the service were wonderful. We're glad we found our new home for the next holiday 2019

Iconic property, did not dissapoint.

By 5Starr4Me |

Stayed for a night, great service, beautiful property. The rooms were nice and elegant, a little small for me. Nice workout facility, spa, meeting rooms and food were very good. Nobu is in the hotel.

Overpriced in so many ways

By GalapogasJim |

Come here if you are trying to impress. Other options available nearby. Moderate to fine dining in area.
