Houston's is my favorite place to go for a good steak, the Hawaiian Ribeye is wonderful, the salads, appetizers and drinks are all good also. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed and service is always good. I love going to Houston's.

I have eaten at Houston on Northside about 100 times...really. Love this place! The food, service, location, wine...you name it ...the best. If I can't go there at least one time a week I'm not a happy camper. 😀 The over all service is top notch. The food is always....Always spot on. The NY strip they have is as good as any steak you will get any where. Now the ribeye is not my favorite but it's good. The wine is really my favorite. You can get top flight wines for almost the same price as you would pay in a wine store. Frank Family Cabernet is with out a doubt a great value. Last but not least. If you don't want to believe me....just go there you will see how busy it is. PACKED! If you live in Atlanta....you know this is the place.

We've been to other Houston's Restaurants in different cities, and this one in north Atlanta was another gem in the collection. Menu was very much the same, food quality was top-grade and service was impeccable as always. Prices were the same, or near, what we've paid at other Houston's. Made a reservation for a Saturday night and got in within 5 minutes of our time.

I took the family out to dinner at Houstons yesterday. We had really good food but what we enjoyed the most was the exceptional service from our waitress! She was prompt, courteous, and really wanted us to have a great dinner. We will be back.

Met customers for a cocktail and quick business meeting. Pretty crowded for 3pm on a weekday. We got a couple appetizers, which were very good. A little slow, but we were at the bar and not at a table. Would like to go back for dinner. Very convenient for out of town guest to find.

I've gone to Houston's in Atlanta for over 35 years. Sad to say, this might be my last time. I have always liked their high standards, and almost arrogance in the their adherence to arbitrary "rules" they have. Today, I realized their high standards are to suit their circumstances. No COVID precautions. I saw the waitress just wipe off the menus with a dirty rag. Really? You can't just hand people disposable menus? No social distancing guidelines. But God forbid you ask for decaf coffee or fries to go.....then you get the answer that they can't do that because it doesn't suit Houston's standards. The restaurant was also dirty. Sad.

My favorite Atlanta Reastaurant: almost have my own table: we visit 2-3 times per month👍🍷🍴🍴🍷👍😎😎 ...by the way, the rack of ribs is off the chart👍👍👍🐷🐷🐖🐖

Houstons has the freshest and unique tasting food around. Their burgers, ribs, pork chops, fish, and salads are expertly prepared and delicious. The staff are very attentive and although a bit snooty it all goes well with the experience at this fine restaurant. Don't forget to endulge in their homemade desserts especially the unique key lime pie like no other on the planet. Bon Apetite'

I always love the food and service at Houstons. There is just one problem that I encounter. The wait is always so long when you dine in the evenings. I stood and watch people walk in and walk out when they find out that there is such a long wait.

Great atmosphere but very noisy. The food was very good but pricey for lunch. Two of us had 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert, and 2 teas, all in for $95!

We used to eat at Houston's years ago and it was good. Food was better than average...service was incredible and the price was a little higher than some but not anything outrageous. Their potato soup was the best and the Hawaiin ribeye was unlike any other steak around, but things have changed....oh and the ribs were good too, but now.....there is no comparison. The menu has been reduced to one page...only a few offerings and the Hawaiin ribeye is now $44.00, which if it was outstanding and included a baked potato would have been acceptable. There are no baked potatoes listed on the menu...they offer corn or fries and broccoli. I didn't order the steak because I didn't want to take a chance on it not living up to it's prior taste and quality. So, we ordered a hamburger that was mostly lettuce and bread and the burger itself no thicker than a Wendy's single. The fries were not hot and looked like they came from Krystal. A few salads to choose from and a seafood item or two. No potato soup, at least not on Friday and while the service was adequate the food just didn't deserve the price tag it had on it. I'm assuming people go to Houston's for drinks rather than food and since the drink menu was as large as the food menu I think I might be right. I'd much rather go to Papadeaux's and spend my money to enjoy decent food. Houston's chicken sandwich looked more like a club sandwich, since the chicken was about the thickness of a slice of cheese. I was looking forward to good food, but was sorely disappointed. Too many better places to eat in Atlanta. Just my opinion

Arrived at 6:30pm on a Saturday and there was already a ton of people waiting. We were 2 minutes early and my wife approached the hostess stand where the three girls were talking amongst themselves. Wife sai hello and said reservation for two and gave our name. One of the girls held up her hand in a stop position and sad hang on. Wife was furious and it ruined our night. The place was crazy busy and standing room only in bar. We waited 20 minutes before sitting and my wife still furious. I did not want here to speak to manager but she did anyway who was expediting food orders. Next thing you know we now have the manager/supervisor at our table along with the server trying to push free desert (key lime pie) on us and both of us re explaining the experience amongst onlookers from other tables. The conversation did not stop with the desert and we kept declining. Wife didn't like key lime. I was going to order an apple cobbler but "I wanted to pay". They had problems with fridge, no ice-cream bla, bla bla. They bought ice-cream but put it in broken freezer bla bla bla. Turned into a big production. I still declined and thanked them. I was pretty embarrassed. Told them again, no desert. They brought apple cobbler anyway in a Togo container. I took it but ended up throwing it away. There were a huge amount of nuts on it and wife's allergic to nuts. I hated that they did that as if a free desert fixes the problem. Got news for you after being a veteran food and beverage director, it does not. I can't stand it when management comes over. Too loud, creates spectacle. If your going to offer something just do it. I actually didn't like the way it was handled it was very amateurish. We have been to most Houston's and usually like but we won't be back anyway. The food: Spinach and artichoke dip was ok but did not taste not the same as we were used to. Lacked flavor and seasoning and was a little too runny. The Caesar salad was close but we could really taste the lemon juice. Too tangy and lacked the garlic flavor I am used too. The Hawaiian rib eye was excellent. A little thin but melted in my mouth. Juicy and delicious. The loaded baked potato was nice. The service: Was great, prompt and friendly. What a smile and patient. Bottom line: they all seemed to be running around and with a feel of confusion. I was uncomfortable waiting 20 minutes after my reservation, I felt that was just wrong. Hostess should never had spoken to my wife that way, it was insulting and non welcoming. Service was above average and the food was average.

Two of my friends treated me to a birthday lunch. I had the seared ahi tuna salad and brussel sprouts, both of which were devine.

Me and my wife had Houston's for dinner and it was good as always! If you don't want to wait too long go early before the rush

High priced food that doesn't give bang for the buck is featured at this restaurant that is also incredibly noisy and dark. The food is solid, but nothing stands out. The Hawaiin Rib Eye was a disappointment, although the meat was cooked properly. TThe glaze was sweet, but over gingered, and it distracted from the flavor of the beef. Crab cakes were excellent. The salmon was fine. Wine prices are on the extreme high side. We found the experience to be not worth the hefty price tag. The one positive was service, which was impeccable. Not likely to return on account of so many options where I could have dined for 70% of the cost and enjoyed the meal far more Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad. It's fine. Just not worth the price. Finally, I wouldn't bring a date here. You have to yell to be heard. Acoustics aren't so hot. It's hopping when the restaurant is busy.

This is the most consistent restaurant we know hands down. Best food and best service. We go there so often but haven't had a bad experience yet, at least not at this location.

This Houston's restaurant was the first Houston's in Atlanta. The quality of food and service is very good and consistent. It has a large oval bar and large dining area. Grilled fish, meats, and chicken are very flavorful. The menu offers something for everyone (appetizers, salads, main courses, and desserts. We especially enjoy the grilled trout and ribs. Sometimes they offer fish specials of Snapper and LoupDeMere (Branzino/Sea Bass). Nice variety of sides/vegetables. The water is filtered and as good as bottled water. Nice wine selection by the glass or bottle. Hannah was our server and excellent!!!

I had lunch with a friend. The atmosphere was excellent. The noise level was low. This allowed us to have a conversation without having to talk loud. Our food was very good. We had the Thai salad with chicken and the rotisserie chicken. The cost for our lunch was more than some nearby restaurants. However, the cost was in line with other nice restaurants in the area. They get busy at lunch time. I suggest you arrive before 12:00 or after 1:00. Grace was our waitress. She did an outstanding job! She gave us the attention that we needed. Unlike many waitpersons, she did not interfere with our conversation. When I go back, I will ask for her.

We met for a lunch that had been put off for months due to Covid. We were then hurried out the door as they made an effort to clean off our table and set the plates for the next client after us. They obviously knew some clients and accommodated them for a leisurely lunch without interruption. Totally embarrassing for the manager to personally come over and ask us to leave. I will not be going there again. They were very accommodating of the folks who arrived in the Rolls.

I've been going to this restaurant for decades. Tonight, I ordered a steak which is not my usual order. It came out undercooked, and I sent it back to be cooked a little more. The chef came to our table to apologize and was very accommodating. The one thing about this restaurant is even in the rare circumstance it's not up to par, they make it right. I appreciate having the option to go to dinner and know it will be consistent.

This was my first visit to a Houston's, and I will definitely return. The ambience is warm, inviting, and lively without being noisy. The restaurant has a certain charm that comes from the combination of decor and lighting -- very appealing. The restaurant was very busy on this Saturday. We had a reservation and were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. Our waiter was helpful, prompt, and pleasant. The menu has several tempting offerings, though I was disappointed to find that the crab cakes weren't available. Still, our meals were delicious -- really, really good. I look forward to another visit.

We visited Houston's for lunch on Valentine's Day. It was very busy but we were seated within 20 minutes or so. We placed our order and waited, and waited, and waited... watching food come out all around us. Our waitress checked in with us several times then brought us a free side dish to try. About 10 minutes later the manager came to our table to let us know that our order had been placed but lost in the shuffle, that it would be out soon, and that lunch was on her. We had not complained at all so we were surprised! The ribs were fantastic, as usual. Afterwards, our waitress apologized profusely for the wait and asked if we'd like dessert. We had not planned on getting dessert but she said, "c'mon, it's on the house!," so we couldn't refuse. This visit could have been terrible had it not been for the courteous and friendly staff. Thank you, Houston's!

By no means are we regulars but we both agreed our visit last night was far different than previous occasions. The menu seemed to be scaled down and the food that was presented did not live up to our expectations. We will consider dining elsewhere before coming back for another visit. Alie was our server and did a very nice job, the one positive to the evening.

Went there for lunch and was impressed by the awesome ambiance, awesome service, awesome food and so much of it too. We had the spare ribs and it was so delicious and we had so much left over even though we tried our best to eat it all. I can't wait to go back and try another dish.

Sunday night we had one of the most disappointing dinners that I can remember. We have loved Houston's for as long as I can remember. The food has been reliably good and the service fast and good. This evening was just the opposite. We had a party of 7 in the large booth at the top--two children and 5 adults. We counted on the same good dinners that we have always had there, but this was just poor. First, the server was sweet and courteous and apparently very inexperienced. We ordered the spinach dip to share around the table, and it took 4 requests, 3 to our server and 1 to another one, to get the small plates to serve with. In the first place we should not even have to ask when we are obviously sharing. They should come with the order. She came back and took our orders after the dip had arrived. She got it all right, but the food was disappointing for the first time that I remember. First, no crabcakes again, although a restaurant in the same block is serving them right now. The trout is now 1/2 trout instead of whole, as it used to be. OK, but the price is the higher. It now comes with a blob of mashed potatoes--what, with trout?--not mentioned when ordered, and trout is not on the regular menu. We have always been told to ask for it. The side of spaghetti squash was nothing like the old--with a couple of dollops of "tomato chutney" and cold to boot. Also the new preparation of Brussels sprouts was tasteless, when they used to be delicious. The tuna salad and kale salad were enjoyed by those who had them. No salads came with cheese toast, nor was it offered. The children shared a hickory burger, which they enjoyed, but the fries were "skinny," dry, and chewy, not the delicious light fries Houston's used to have. Occasionally someone would come by and refill the water glasses and our waitress brought a second tea to one diner once. Then came time for dessert, and since there was only one order, the server brought spoons for everyone, which she proceeded to "deal" around the table in any old irregular pattern of landing. When everything was gone but the spoons and our water glasses, it looked ridiculous. Our 3-year-old could do a better job. They looked as though they had been thrown, and maybe they were. One woman commented that it would have been better to bring the extra spoons and place them on a plate in the middle of the table. At least that would have been relatively sanitary. And the check was over $200 for 6 mediocre "entrees," including 3 entree salads, 2 fish, and 1 burger, one tea, one dessert. Now we're used to Houston's prices and know they are high, but the quality of the food usually is too. We eat there at least weekly, and we wonder if there has been a change in the recipes to have such average food. We will try again soon, but if things are not better, we'll choose the other restaurant in the block where the food is creative and hot and the service is personal and good for very little more money and a lot more pleasure.

excellent service .. suggest reservations even for lunch during week .. place was busy at 1 pm .... smoked salmon appetizer is best ever .. and almost enough for lunch .. crispy chicken sandwich also more than adequate portion .. and very tasty

The steaks were excellent, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The place was packed but we had a reservation and waited about 10 minutes. Service was good, but with so many patrons we did not get the attention I feel we were paying for. The waitress was just too busy to be around when we needed her. Dessert was disappointing and pricy. Expect to pay $60-$75 per person for a drink, dinner, dessert, gratuity and tax. Glass of wine-$11. Manhattan-$14. Hawaiian ribeye w/side-$34. NY Strip steak w/side-$45. Extra sides-$7. Minuscule slice of Key Lime pie-$9.

We LOVE Houstons Our dinner this time made us pause and wonder if the magical Houston's has hit the wall and lost their leadership. Disaster from moment 1 Brought to a table that wasn't cleared Rushed to order Out of the fist 2 items Artichokes and then our favorite Caymus Cab...some shpeel about they are making their own Caymus...seriously Then the salads were forgotten and dinner was delivered ..salads? Oh sorry It was my Birthday dinner disaster Very sad blah!

We really enjoyed our meals here. The food was good and the wait was not long. I love the atmosphere.

Our friend made a reservation and invited us to Houston’s today. When we arrived there was not a reservation. Caelan Anstead, General Manager, made us feel like we were lying and said they were fully committed. We left and had a wonderful brunch at OK Cafe. Won’t be returning back to this location.

It was a marvelous occasion .. Our wedding anniversary! Atmosphere is great, the service is impeccable, our dinner absolutely fabulous!! We are both steak lovers, but that is where we cease to be alike... He appreciates their Ribeye, I love a tenderloin... He wants med. well, I need med. rare... Mars and Venus anyone? Their blue cheese dressing is out of sight good! Our only disappointment was no baked potatoes before 5:00... They even showered us with dessert... How good can an anniversary be?

This is one of our fav spot. However, today experience - has left me feeling disturb. We did not like the service that was provided by a server. We spoke with the head manager. This manager made several excuses for this behavior. Such as she was dealing with wrong orders and so on. I understand issues but that's were a good manager come in at to help the staff! This made us feel worse. Not one time did she apologize or show empathy. Our perception was the other patrons were more important than us....and it was so obvious!!!We will switch our girls luncheon moving forward.....

Dined Christmas Eve for a late lunch and as always a busy place. Service was a tad behind, however the teamwork with others around the section is always amazing. My favorite food is crabcake and had wanted the crabcake salad, however, I am not allowed grapefruit. I inquired about adding the crab to the chefs salad, knowing I would be charged more. The server informed me that request wasn't as easy to make as it used to be. Confusing response but did offer to check. I know special orders can be a pain and opted for another entree. Surprise response from Houstons. Everything was delicious as always.

Have been coming here a long time for business and pleasure. Have had significant issues for the last six visits. While management has noticed and offered to compensate us, that is what we are not here for. Have to ask several times for water, ketchup. Have run out of entrees such as shrimp cocktail early in the evening. Often long wait fir entrees. Ordered sliced tomatoes tonight -- which were always perfect on a cold plate. 4 cherry tomatoes tonight. Food is still high quality; however the experience is now three star or less

Stopped into the Houston's on Northside Parkway for dinner Sunday evening. Ordered a drink at the bar while waiting on our table. The bartender used tequila instead of vodka and when we brought that to her attention she disputed the fact and turned away. Never have I experienced this type of treatment at any Houston's restaurant. I hope that bartender finds a new place to pour the wrong drinks.

Salads were great! Big disappointments were that they did not have the apple cobbler dessert or the chicken tenders. Server handled our disappointment well.

Like many others have said, the management here is the reason that we’ll never be back. We attempted to eat lunch here before a Georgia Tech football game in September 2024. We arrived at 11:30am, with a reservation, to a mostly empty restaurant. We were seated by the hostess and the waitress came and took our drink orders. About 5 minutes later, a young manager came to our table and informed us that my 5-year-old son (who was sitting quietly coloring) was wearing a Georgia Tech jersey that was in violation of their policy against team athletic attire in the dining room. He indicated that my son would need to change clothes if we wanted to continue eating in the dining room while joking that it wasn’t because he hated Georgia Tech. Kids aren’t allowed in the bar, so that meant we needed to leave. The issue is that the manager said all of this in front of my 5-year-old, clearly lacking the tact to pull one of the adults (both grandparents and mom are present) aside to have this conversation privately, thus allowing us to manage the narrative on why we're being asked to leave. For the rest of the day, my son continued to ask why “that man” didn’t like his jersey and wouldn’t let us eat at the restaurant. It’s now been two weeks, and not a day has gone by where he doesn’t mention being asked to leave the restaurant. Before we go eat anywhere, he asks if he’s dressed okay so that we won’t be asked to leave, and he won’t wear a jersey at all anymore. Bottom line, I respect the fact that this restaurant has a hardline rule about athletic attire, and we were in violation of that rule. While I’m sure my son’s jersey wasn’t offending the other families with young children eating an early lunch that day, the problem lies with the way this manager enforced their rule in front of my kid, pointing at him and indicating that he was the reason that we couldn’t eat there. Most human beings innately understand that if you’re going to talk about someone’s child, particularly in a negative situation, you don’t do it in front of them… If we ever planned to eat at a Houston’s or Hillstone Restaurant Group location again (kidding, we tell everyone we can to avoid this place like the plague), I suppose we’d now know to get online and read through the restaurant’s rules before we go. We might also make sure that we ask both the hostess and the waitress if our kids are dressed appropriately to avoid an awkward situation where we’ve interacted with three different employees (all of whom have observed our clothing) and placed a drink order before we’re asked to leave.

I have enjoyed stopping at several Houston's locations many times in 30 years. Their courtesy and quality were once stellar. This visit was not up to par by comparison. The supervisor on duty, Patsy, was quite rude and condescending. We had called and asked about call ahead seating and were told there was none. We arrived for lunch and were told there would be a 15 minute wait by the hostess, but apparently because I commented on Patsy's inappropriate behavior to her, we were seated immediately, which was rather rude to several elderly guests waiting there already, and not my point at all. Staff needs etiquette help, to say the least. The style of this restaurant was very dark, dated (candles at lunch) and surprised us. Each of the Houston's restaurants had been unique and fun, and their exciting menus were well worth the always rather long wait. Sadly, I agree that it seems like Houston's is not the leader for a great lunch spot anymore. We are likely to choose a competitor next time with friendlier front staff and healthier, more interesting food. Today's lunch was rather expensive for what we ordered (sandwiches) and poorly managed, Average is a very generous rating today.

The salmon here tastes like they went outside and caught it. What can I say the ambience is calming and excellent

Any of the Houston restaurant in Atlanta are great. A great place for a date or business dinner. The service is great.

This is my wife and my go to restaurant while visiting our son and his family when in Atlanta.I have had other items such as grilled artichokes and the chicken sandwich but the french dip and shoestring fries are great. We have also ordered this at Houston's in Memphis and Scottsdale. We enjoy the atmosphere and the service is always great.

Houston’s is a unique and stellar restaurant on the north side of Atlanta. Their food is made from the freshest ingredients and we’ve never had anything that wasn’t the best in the ten years we’ve been customers there. I would highly recommend the barbecue ribs, the cheeseburger, the chicken salad with lime citrus and peanut sauce dressing along with their steaks and other fine menu items. The sides are wonderful and diverse and the desserts are fantastic. Sit back, relax, have a nice cocktail and enjoy this unique dining experience. They have a vibrant sophisticated bar for you to have a cocktail, enjoy conversation, and enjoy a meal at the bar as well. You’ll find the ambiance of the restaurant charming and sophisticated. I would advise making a reservation. Only small parties are accepted to maintain the ambiance of this wonderful restaurant. Enjoy!

Best burger in Atlanta. consistently great service. Great bartenders. Very good salads. Wait can be very long.

In town for business. Place was rocking on a Wednesday night around 8pm. Friendly service. Good tasting meal. Went with fillet and baked potato. Only issue is the price of the steak versus the small cut. For $46 it was incredibly small from what I've grown accustomed to the the Charlotte market. There are many higher end establishments were I can get a bigger steak in the $25-$32 range. So this was sticker shock for me. But the meal was good. If you don't mind spending a few extra bucks this is a nice place to eat with some excellent service.

Great atmosphere extremely busy location, plenty of parking food extremely good service very friendly and attentive to your needs.

We used to go to this restaurant often and always loved it. Suddenly, the quality of the food has diminished. My friend had a chicken salad where the chicken was inedible and the dressing skimpy. I had my usual tuna salad and, althought the tuna was ok, it was mostly greens with four pieces of avocado and 4 pieces of mango only. And again, the dressing was skimpy. Then, our capuccinos seemed to lack milk. They were very bitter and very dark. The service was excellent, as has always been. We were greatly disappointed because this is the second time we leave unhappy about our meal. This used to be a little gem in Buckhead.

Have been a patron of Houston's all over since first visiting the Nashville location (now closed) in early 1980's. Northside was the 1st location in ATL and remains a favorite. The menu offers a nice variety of starters, salads, sandwiches/burgers, soups, entrees, and desserts. The Frank Family Napa Cab is a nice choice by the glass. The Traditional salad has a nice variety and is large enough to share before your entree. The grilled Trout is always a good choice and the sides are excellent!

If I could give zero stars, I would. It has to be BAD for me to leave a review. I have never been so appalled and disappointed in a restaurant that I have loved for years. I live in Alabama but when visiting Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, or Florida I have always sought out and patronized Houston’s for the last 30+ years. Yesterday I drove 8 hours round trip to Atlanta to pick up my new car. I was wearing leggings, a long sweatshirt, and New Balance tennis shoes. I went into Houston’s at West Paces and I was told that I was dressed too casually to eat there. I am appalled. The description of this restaurant says upscale casual. It was 3:00 in the afternoon - a late lunch —the restaurant was half empty -- I was not trying to eat dinner! Who do they think they are? Certainly not Commanders Palace in Nola, Morton’s in Chicago, SUR in Los Angeles or Carmine’s in New York City all of which are over 4 star restaurants where I have eaten across the country (usually traveling for business and probably not dressed much better than I was yesterday because we have walked to dinner, etc) and been treated with much more dignity than I received yesterday. With customer service like this, I guess the mystery is solved about why so many Houston’s restaurants have closed. I will never darken the door of Houston’s again— There are other restaurants I can patronize who will appreciate my business.

Midday appetizers of spinach dip and secondly smoked salmon The order of Salmon was almost dinner portion and was outstanding Great service as the wait staff worked as a team Nice setting. Will be back there for sure

Houston's has been around a long time and is still one of our favorites! The food is consistently good any one you go to and they do an excellent job hiring their weight staff. They always give excellent service! The food is always fresh and prepared in-house. Best kale salad anywhere, hands down. They have retained many of our favorites like chicken tenders, baby back ribs, the Hawaiian Rib Eye and their baked potatoes are like no others. The Apple Walnut cobbler is the best anywhere and their Key Lime Pie is the best as well. Nobody does house-smoked salmon like they do and their Spinach Artichoke Dip is unsurpassed by anyone.

One of the first things you'll notice when you enter Houston's, is that it's quite dark. Too dark for my taste. It also feels very compartmentalized and claustrophobic. Another thing I don't care for. Happily, the dinning part of the experience was better. The menu here, while not large or adventurous, overs a good variety of meat, seafood and vegetarian options. I had the Hawaiian, a rib-eye steak with pineapple-soy-ginger marinade and served with a loaded baked potato. While the loaded potato wasn't anything to write home about, the steak was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and a lot of flavor. Prices are moderate to high. Service was also fantastic. Houston's has a full bar, for those of you interested in an adult beverage. While I prefer a restaurant that's brighter and more open, the food is very good here.

We had Sunday lunch with the kids and as always enjoyed it thoroughly. I arrived early and the folks at the bar were friendly and efficient as always, our reservation was honored right on time, and our server was personable and on the ball, even recommending a store which we might like as a source for gifts for a grandchild one the way. A very nice experince.

The food is always good. Good selection of food. Service is good as well. Only negative is the wait, but this is expected depending on the day and time you go .

Visited Houstons on Easter Sunday with my husband and kids. Wait time was about 10 mins. After sitting for about 45 mins just having a casual conversation Hanna the manager came over and apologized for food not being out in a timely fashion. We were so deep in convo we did not notice lol. She then let us know she would be comping our entire meal. Hanna is a great manager, I would def dine at this Houston again.Hanna we totally appreciate your gratitude😘

I used to love Houston's but the rumor about the new management being discriminatory is unfortunately very true. They pick and choose what dress code they want to follow based on how they feel. It's called having POLICY GUYS!! Have a policy in place that says what you can and can not were. I have a beautiful dress on one that any fit woman would wear on a date and they told me no meanwhile people had sneakers, head wraps and one lady actually had a moo moo on! I can't. So I changed came back and the food was disgusting took them 3 times to get my steak right blah blah blah how sub par! Never again. Don't waste your time! My guy and I then went to this new spot.. listen this is Atlanta there's good food on every corner... in a world where people are killing children at schools... bombing cities and driving drunk... the last thing you want to do is go to dinner and be treated poorly. I honestly regret coming back here. Never again.

Houston’s is great value for money. In my experience, you’ll only find better steak in the US at a higher price point. For us steak lovers, Houston’s menu has little variety, but their ribeye steak covered in a pineapple-soy-ginger marinade, dubbed “The Hawaiian,” is excellent. Their barbecue ribs are also very tender and flavorful. Other highlights include their French fries, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and their delicious Key Lime Pie. I also appreciate Houston’s quality standards; for the past 15 years, we’ve frequented their various locations in Florida and Georgia, and there has never been a deviation in quality. I also like the fact that their lunch and dinner menus are almost identical. It irritates me when higher-end steakhouses either don’t open for lunch or offer a threadbare lunch menu. But Houston’s will give you a great experience for lunch as well. We just visited their Atlanta West Paces unit and spent $199 for a three-person lunch before tipping (no alcohol, only water, one appetizer, three entrées, two deserts, see photo for more details). You can’t go wrong with Houston’s!

This was our first time eating at Houstons and we were not disappointed. My husband had a high fish sandwich with slaw and a salad. I had BBQ chicken, slaw and shoestring fries. Oh my! Delicious! Everyone at our table ate every bite.

Very busy. They get busy around five. I had their caesar salad, spinach artichoke dip, and their pork barbecue ribs. The ribs were delicious! Their service was very good and were always moving about.

I was there with my wife and as always the food was excellent. Even though they are always crowded, this is my wife's favorite place to go eat.

The food was good - I had a traditional salad with hot bacon dressing and I really enjoyed it. Our server was very nice and pretty and our service was good however, THE MUSIC WAS SO LOUD THAT IT REALLY DISTRACTED FROM OUR MEAL.

Food is pricey, but the wine is crazy reasonable. Wife and I share an entree and a bottle usually. This location still has shoestring fries which is different... Always recommend asking for spicy mayo with them.

Received the poorest service ever! This restaurant was not flexible with our party but made accommodations for others around. Their reputation and position is VERY clear to me now.#morethan4no #morethan6yes

My wife and I visited Houston's off I75 while traveling through Atlanta. We are use to great dinners at Houston's but seldom for lunch. Lunch this day was as good as expected. My wife's chicken salad was the best of our two entrees. The peanut dressing was great! My fish sandwich was also very good with maybe a little too much breeding. Service was very good at the bar where we were seated.

management was no other words than awful to our family tonight. Jordan and Aaron could not of been ruder. The waitress and food was incredible but honestly won’t be back due to how they handled things unless they are gone.

I am writing this review for my mother who visited with 2 friends for dinner on 6.29.2024. I was told what happened and it upset me. First, they never got an itemized bill. I have never seen this in my life. Second, they wanted separate checks. They were told that this was not possible and they were required to have one pay for all or each could pay equal 1/3 even though they had different type and cost meals. What? Seriously? One thing is clear, i will never be returning to Houston’s. Sad because they have been so good for so long and now management is in the process of destroying it. I thought others would want fair warning.

We had a 7:15 PM reservation and were finally seated at 8:05PM. The hostess and managers seem to seat their friends or who knows - we have been patrons for more than 15 years! I see several disappointed reviews below and totally agree. They have people standing in the bar area with no masks on - so if you have one of the tables either below the bar or in the bar, you will be exposed to many people with no masks. They had a police officer standing near the bar so clearly they have had some sort of incident there, but he wasn't wearing a mask either. I think he should be out in the parking lot where cars get broken into on a regulars' basis. This is not an inexpensive meal if you have wine, an appetizer and entrees. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else where the wait is shorter, and you get what you pay for.

My husband has been wanting to take me to this restaurant for years and we finally made it to Atlanta and Houston’s. It was as wonderful as he reported! I had the burger, cooked to medium rare perfection, and my husband had the sweet and sticky ribs. My favorite part of dinner, however, was the cole slaw! I ordered it with hesitation as it is usually bland and sodden with mayonnaise. Oh yum! Both of us lapped it up. The service was lovely as well. Wish we lived closer to one of their restaurants!

On a trip home from Nashville see friends recommended a lunch stop here. We are grateful for their idea. A rainy day and lunch time parking is a bit of an adventure bit the food was so worth it! Had about a ten minute wait for a table and checked TA to see what people liked to eat here. Someone recommended the California burger. What a great choice, cooked to order with a great soft bit not overpowering bun. The jack cheese, avacado, tomato and mayo made this an incredibly flavorable and juicy delight. They cook it to order and offer fries, tehbule (sp?) Or fruit. The fries are shoestring, hot and plentiful. My wife chose the tebeule (?) . It was very good with a nice Georgia twist. Service ice was excellent, as with some places in GA they had coke products in the mini bottle. Nice surprise. Service was very good, you can tell they are accustomed to the business lunch crowd on a schedule. We loved the atmosphere, a darker, lively one. Servers were always nearby. This could be my go to place for burgers near I75.

This was our family's first visit to Houston's, located on Northside Parkway in NW Atlanta. The restaurant and bar were crowded on this Thursday evening at 5:30, but the hostesses were very efficient and quickly had us seated at the large table we needed. Houston's appears to be a neighborhood grill/bar, and I assumed the experience of dining there would fall into the same category as Chili's and Outback, two of our old faves. Diners were dressed very casually, and there were families of all ages as well as couples. The menu, however, was pricier... and then you factor in the extras: The food was VERY good and the service was outstanding! Members of our family ordered the rotisserie chicken, BBQ chicken (2), the trout special, and the red snapper special (3). Everything was delicious except the rotisserie chicken which appeared to have been underfed and overcooked. Cara was our server. She was delightful and very attentive. For example, I left the table for a moment, and when I returned, she was refolding my napkin into a little peak. Now, I HAVE dined where the servers refolded the napkins, but THOSE were not neighborhood grill/bar establishments. The lemon wedges came individually wrapped in organza. New, filled water glasses were provided each time we ran a bit low; no communal pitcher of water for Houston's! (Just some nice little touches which made for a very pleasant dinner.) When she asked my son how he enjoyed the rotisserie chicken, he was truthful that it was dry and hard. She seemed genuinely concerned and immediately offered him a to-go plate of anything on the menu to make up for the chicken jerky. Fare for 7: $350 plus gratuity. Highly recommended!

Hawaiian Ribeye was great and Grouper/Shrimp special was ok. Not very moist for a grouper. The goat cheese and red cabbage was a neat surprise. Note: resturant does not have a birthday offering. Too bad. We spent $100 for a dinner and bottle of wine for 2, no dessert. Resturant was very noisy, 35 minute wait at 6pm not bad. 730 wait time increased to 2hours.

There is supposed to be a dress code for this restaurant but it does not get followed, patrons wearing shorts/t-shirts all over the place and the staff seemed overwhelmed by the full to capacity unit. Ambience is very dark which makes it difficult to read menu. The food was good but nothing out of this world like it is made to be believed....

Had dinner tonight with my husband. Sat beside the sweetest little family trying to enjoy their daughter’s first birthday. The little family was being so quiet and the little girl was quieter than the adults sitting beside us. The manager and whatever the other little guy was so rude to this family. They kept coming over and over to the family when they were quieter than most of the other tables. I truly felt so sorry for them. This is not what Houstons is suppose to be…..SO RUDE! I WAS TRULY EMBARASSED! MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO STEP UP! Very very very uncalled for. I wont be back and will tell my friends how rude they were. This was my favorite restaurant, not anymore. You have lost me as a customer

We made reservations but the host couldn't find them . I showed her my confirmation and we were seated asap . For being inconvenienced, the manager bought an appetizer for the table, which was very kind .

My husband and I recently celebrated our 28th anniversary at Houston’s, a place that holds a very special place in our hearts. It was the site of our first date, and a year later, where he proposed—right in front of the restaurant. Ever since, it’s become a cherished tradition for us to return each year. This year’s visit was truly exceptional. The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Our server, Nicole, took great care of us, and we were especially touched by the efforts of General Manager Caelan Anstead, who went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. We always love sharing positive experiences, and this one was certainly worth celebrating.

Writing this review is like breaking up with an old friend who you thought would always be there for you. Houston's still serves some of the best casual dining fare in the city; the spinach dip is yet to be topped. And though I've never had it, my friends swear the Hawaiian ribeye remains the stuff of dreams, But a kitchen can prepare a 5-star meal--it's of no value if the service sours you. Or worse, if you never get seated to enjoy it. I realize that wait times can be long, but when you're told the wait will be 30 minutes only to wait an hour, it tends to change your mood. Again I know at times these things often cannot be controlled (people linger at tables, especially when the weather is bad) BUT when you're waiting for a table and you watch several people enter the restaurant after you, yet their names are placed in the queue ahead of you, it's not good. And only after I approached the hostess for the SECOND time, was I told that others are being seated ahead of us because they had reservations! Why not tell people that at the outset so that they can make a more informed decision about what a more REASLISTIC wait time will be. It will be hard letting this "friend" go but we all deserve respect. Note: the corp office Guest Relations basically told me it hadn't occurred to them to let people know about reservations. Excuse me, what?! Now who else in Atlanta makes a great dip?

Went with my hubs when we were visiting our hometown of ATL. Been going there for 30 yrs. Pricey, long wait but well worth it. Fast service, but seems leisurely, if that makes sense. Fresh ingredients. Although the menu is smaller with fewer choices than the past, I can still order my favorite dishes from 20 yrs ago and they make it for me!!!

I visited Houston’s today for lunch with my mom. We moved to Atlanta in July and I had been passing it so I was very excited! Upon entry, I let them know I had a reservation and I was told by one of the hostesses (she had a ponytail and glasses) that I had on sweatpants but she would sit us today. I had on a two-piece jogger set. It was clean and was not a gym outfit which is what their dress code speaks to. Her tone was very rude. Once sat, to the left of us was a young man in a full athleisure suit with the jacket open revealing a white tee which is NOTORIOUS for being against dress codes. There was also a woman a few tables over with a shirt and actual sweatpants that flared out at the bottom. There was also a young lady in there with ripped jeans. I’m just curious to know if they were greeted with the same tone and warning as I was. Our waitress (I don’t remember her name unfortunately) but she was very polite. I asked for a Shirley Temple. I have not been to a bar that did not have grenadine, but okay. Then I asked for a lemonade or a Coke Zero, both of which they did not offer. So it’s either water or an alcoholic beverage at that point. Although she gave me many “no’s” to my drink requests, our waitress was atleast apologetic that they did not have it and that was not her fault. She may have been the best part of our Houston’s experience. Unfortunately though, I will not be back. I have many friends come into town to visit and they take my restaurant recommendations very serious. Houston’s environment and menu don’t even make sense for their dress code to be strict. It’s your average American cuisine at best. Very disappointing experience.

Houston's has recovered its earlier reputation for good food and good, quick, friendly service. The new crab cake salad with avocado and grapefruit and a champagne dressing is outstanding. It is a very filling lunch and would make a good dinner. We have eaten crab cakes all over the US and no one does them like this Houston's. They are 99% large lump crabmeat that barely holds together with a thin crisp panko crust. They are cooked slowly and delicately and are superb--no better ones anywhere. Try them and see if you don't agree. All food is always fresh, and now that it is possible to get a reservation, it is easier to go. They do not hold a table for you, but if you have a reservation, you are moved to the front of the line until a table becomes available.

I’ve never written a bad review in my life until today. Houston’s, you are NOT a country club. Your dress code does not align with your menu or your outdated atmosphere. I’ve been dining at Houston’s for over 30 years, and if I were to describe it to a stranger in one sentence, I’d say Houston’s is a step above Chili’s. The interior and restrooms need a MAJOR remodel- looks exactly the same at every location I’ve visited for 30+ years- same tight crowded sardine can-like booths…with 1980’s burgundy colored upholstery…same dark sticky floor restrooms (poor tile choice) with sinks that need to be cleaned and/or replaced and most have the pungent sewer gas leak odors that’s a ‘trademark odor’ in every Houston’s I’ve ever visited. Houston’s should take a page from The Westin Hotel’s book and buy some scent machines to mask that repulsive odor. So with all the 1 star issues I’ve mentioned, when in Atlanta I would still choose to have lunch at Houston’s. I love the spinach dip, and the roasted chicken. Can I live without it after what happened yesterday, ABSOLUTELY. New Balance sneakers should not be a reason to tell a customer that you can’t seat them because they are not dressed appropriately. Houston’s DO BETTER! This is your loss- not mine. It is never ok to humiliate people. You will never be a contender for a Michelin star.

I've probably been to this restaurant more than one hundred times and each time is wonderful. My office is nearby, so Houston's is a perfect place for a business lunch. Avoid the wait by scheduling your lunch visit at 11:30 or 1:15. Otherwise, prepare to wait a bit for a table as this place is popular. Its popularity stems from consistently outstanding service, delicious food and reasonable (Buckhead) prices. Parking is free and abundant, except during peak hours when it is a bit challenging to park. The tuna salad is a favorite. The steak salad is popular. The ribs are exceptional with meat falling off the bones. Yes, you can easily eat the ribs with a fork and minimal mess. Try the best veggie burger in Atlanta. I should know. I feel like I've tried them all. It's wonderful, but a mess to eat. Don't miss the genuine real house made lemonade. It's not the equine refuse that comes from a dispenser. It's real. And a real treat. The restaurant is surprisingly dark, so watch your step inside. The noise level is manageable, even during peak times. Dining here is so consistently great, it is a perfect place for a nice visit, business meal or just good food served professionally without drama. Do yourself a favor and have a meal here

I was seated immediately, even though my friend didn't arrive until a few minutes later. The servers were pleasant, attentive and helpful. They have always had great seafood, and tonight was no exception. You can always count on a wonderful meal and great service.

Getting right to the point the food was excellent though the wine was a little pricey. My wife and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary with another couple. Two problems for us: Even though we had explained when making the reservation that it was our wedding anniversary, no recognition was made. I'm sure it is the first time we have been to a restaurant where we weren't comped a dessert, a glass of wine or something. Perhaps it is the restaurant's policy not to do this, but it's such a customary thing that I have to feel there was a breakdown in communication by some staff person. The second problem was really minor and guess I'm being picky, but it seems to back up the perceived communication problem. The person who seated us and took our drink order didn't pass on our request to the food waitress that we wanted two separate checks. So when the final bill came we had to wait for the server to come back and ask her to break it out into two checks. She said no one told her of our request. I know, that's picky on my part and wouldn't have mentioned it had they not ignored our anniversary. Remember, I did give this place a four rating and I'm sure you will enjoy the food, just don't count on anyone remembering your special occasion. One suggestion.....try to get table in the main dining area as opposed to the bar. The tables in the bar area are so close to the tall chairs at the bar that I don't think you'll enjoy your meal as much.

It has been a while since we've been to a Houston's. It was our first visit to the Northside Pkwy. location. As a late lunch we ordered barbeque chicken, which came with coleslaw, and pencil thin french fries. We also ordered side salads. The chicken was average, the coleslaw was good, as were the fries. The $9 salads were on the smallish side. In the past when we ordered salads at other locations they were much larger.

Houstons is always a solid experience. The food prices are a little crazy given three of us ate for 200 dollars. We got entrees and 1 appetizer. My mom enjoyed the wine and my brother and I enjoyed our steak. I would like the grilled chicken sandwich to come back and the spinach dip to not cost 15 dollars as the amount has declined while the cost risen. Our server was amazing and every employee is pretty, yes, even the guys. My favorite place to eat in Atlanta since before I was born.

Did you know they filter their water to make it taste soooo good! Everything is made in house even the ketchup. Totally the best place off 75 if headed to Atlanta without parking issues and traffic. Is off and easy back on 75. Free parking. Gets crowded so make reservations or ask to set in bar area but have to get on a list for that too. Food- veggie burger best ever!!’ Steaks on the mark and all sides perfect.

I was treated for my birthday to Houston's at this location. I felt rushed to order my food. I told the waiter it was my birthday and ask if they offered a complimentary dessert. He said they did, however he forgot to tell me you have to have reservation to receive the complimentary dessert after he charged my niece $9.00 for the dessert. I spoke to the manager she said the same about the dessert, and she did apologize and took the cost off the bill. When my niece handed him the bill, he snatched it from her hand. Very rude and ugly. Not every one can serve the Public.

I know it was Saturday night in Atlanta, but a two hour wait is a little over the top for anywhere. The web site did not mention reservations, but when I got there I found out that they do accept reservations. I would not go again without a reservation. And forget hanging out at the bar until your table is ready. It was about six deep and very loud. Fortunately, the weather was nice and they have a fair amount of outside seating. Having said all that, the food was worth the wait and the service was outstanding. I don't know how they did it, but the hostesses kept up with everybody and seated us as soon as they possibly could. One of the managers came to our table to apologize for the wait and our server was very responsive to our requests. All in all it was a good dining experience.

Ate here two days in a row for lunch and it was fantastic. The wait staff is amazing always around without being intrusive total pros! Food was so good both days, can't wait to come back again!

Food and service were terrific. The cheeseburger was as good as any I had in a while. The servers are great ... trained for sure. Cost was a little high but worth it.

Houston's has been a staple in the Atlanta area for years. The service, food and ambiance is what I go back for.

Close to home so stop in for a quick bite. The wait is usually long but it wasn’t so bad today. My friend had the Kale salad w/rotisserie chicken and it was really tasty. I had the ribs and they were really good. I’ve had them before so I’ve tried them again. The fries are thin and good. The Coleslaw not so good. Houston is a bit pricey for their food but it’s pretty good so I guess it worth it. I’ve had the rotisserie chicken meal before and it’s very good. I love their cheese toast. Overall, it’s relaxing and good. The staff is or were very nice. Great service. The brownie dessert is also good. It’s too sweet but I guess that’s why it’s called dessert.

The wife and I have been going for over 30 years and while Houston's has done a remarkable job raising prices the service has fallen off considerably. Aisha was just as sweet as she could be but the wait for our drinks was WAY too long. The Spinach Artichoke dip is still fabulous. The food was as good as ever but our salads and entrees arrived together and were crowded off the table. Drink refills were again slow to arrive. Steaks range from $35 to $45. Appetizer was $14. Salad was $8. I can live with the prices but we'll go back to Bones where the service aligns with the prices.

We visited this location while visiting family in Atlanta for a weekend. It was extremely crowded when we arrived but we had made a prior reservation. We ended up being a party of 5 with a reservation for 4 though which is where our 'problem' began. We had waited about 30 minutes beyond our reservation time and were told that we would be another 45-60 minutes before getting a table since we had 5 people. For some strange reason, they do not take reservations for parties of 5, we were informed that they only had a few tables for 'larger' groups and they were first come first serve. This is a bit confusing since I assumed that a restaurant would WANT to know if they had a larger party coming in to visit? Anyway, aside from that we had a very enjoyable experience. We didn't have as long of a wait as anticipated after all and our server was excellent! Food was great and we ate way too much of it!!

Always fresh, always great taste, always clean with friendly, quick service!!! The seared tuna salad with avocado, mango and citrus dressing was fabulous. The veggie burger my daughter ordered was huge, and she loved it.

I've sadly see this restaurant take a steep decline in overall experience in the last few years and especially since Covid. This used to be a place where everyone knew your name, dress code was adhered to, and the staff was incredibly gracious. This is no more. I have had multiple terrible experiences in the past year and will not be going back. My extended family, friends and I have been loyal patrons since this restaurants opened. Now most staff I encounter is rude, and the food is overpriced for that kind of service and beyond casual attire/atmosphere.

Have you ever been upset because a restaurant has a small selection. If you have then you would like Houston’s. I walked in and the soft classy music set the scenery for a lively but at the same time expensive restaurant. The hostesses are quick to get your name and there is almost always someone to help you with what you need. Once you get a seat the tables are polished hard wood; they are meticulously cleaned. If you look around the dime lighting with a small lamp above your table. You have enough light to see, but not too much where it is still a high class setting. Let's start with the service. The service is great; when you look around in the kitchen, the bar, and other parts of the restaurant you see people working hard trying to make you your meal. The management is also great. The manager of this restaurant is not sitting in an office behind a desk. No, you will see the manager cleaning tables helping waiters and waitresses. When you see that you know what kind of restaurant this is. Most of the waiters are quick to take your order, but I have to admit that there have been a few times where my order was mistaken. However, everyone makes mistakes so even in the best restaurant people do make mistakes. Next and most important, the food. No matter what you are their for fancy meal or casual lunch. I suggest that you start out with the spinach and artichoke dip. The hot dip covered with cheese puts a taste in your mouth that will prepare you for the main course. Now, if you are there for a fancy meal I would have one of their juicy, tender steaks. I tried the filet mignon and it melted in my mouth when I washed it down with a delicious, hot cup of coffee. If you are in the mood for seafood they have a soft perfectly cooked salmon, or maybe try the Ahi Tuna Salad. Even if you want something simple like a standard cheeseburger. The burger’s taste hits your mouth with a hint of seasoning and smoke which makes it taste like heaven on a plate. That is not where it ends, no, next you have the deserts. I would have the apple cobbler. It is warm, but not too hot that it burns your mouth. It has a sweet taste that I could not put in words. This is when your adventure ends. You walked in expecting great and you left feeling truly amazed.

When friends come to visit, we always include a meal at Houston's on Northside Dr. If you go at lunch be sure to arrive no later than 11:30 and for dinner by 5:30 - otherwise it will be a wait. We love the Grilled Chicken Salad, Salmon and Prime Rib! Drinks & wine selections are great, but a little pricey - so be warned on that. Atmosphere is cool. Have never had a meal I didn't love! You can count on it!

We have eaten at other Houstons in the Atlanta area and liked them very much. However we tried the Northside location and had a server, Kristen, who was obviously sick and barely acknowledged us. I had the fried chicken salad and the chicken was beyond cold - tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. It came with some very dried up hard boiled eggs and a small amount of wilted lettuce. We couldn't get anyone to help us and we had been sitting for a very long time so when we finally waved her down, we just paid and left. Won't go back there again.

I dreaded leaving this review; however, after seeing yet another person’s experience being sullied by the GM Caelan Anstead, I have to share my experience. Let me begin by saying Houston’s is not my go-to for fine dining or steak. My reviews will let you know my taste. I frequented Houston’s because of its convenience and great service. The servers and bartenders here always have a positive and professional disposition. This made it easy to come back, time after time, and tip well. One evening after a few client meetings, I came in with a friend. We had cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. We were winding down and the GM came over to bring my check (of nearly $300 with tip) with the note pictured here and a “verbal warning” from a child about my attire. Attire which was a dress past knee length, kitten heels and pearls. After reading the card, asking for clarification, and noting the attire of a woman in a tube top, I was still told that my attire was unacceptable. I find it odd that after pointing out the double standard that was 2 feet away, the GM, Caelan Anstead still did and said nothing in regards to the other thin, white, and young woman that was outside of the verbal standards spewed at me just moments earlier. In fact, my attire did not go against anything written on the kinkos card placed under the bill. If the attire was so displeasing to Caelan, there were plenty of opportunities to ask me and my friend to leave; however; she waited until we racked up a $300 bill to then attempt to disrespect my intelligence, publicly embarrass, and shame me. As someone who works in corporate, operates a 6 figure business, and dines at restaurants that actually put the fine in fine dining, I cannot help but question Hillstone Group’s choices on hires as well as training materials, policies/procedures, and internal processes. I am disgusted to know that Caelan continues to wreak havoc in her position in the city that I love. With a GM like Caelan Anstead, the doors will be closed soon just like the location that closed previously. With a GM like Caelan Anstead, Hillstone group is sending a clear message to its Black paying customers that she is in place to relay the company’s thoughts and opinions of Black patronage. I’m disgusted, and so is this city, as well as then hundreds of thousands of people that view the social media posts related to her leadership.

Whenever I want to go out dinner I look for good food, good service and good ambiance. Houstons has them all.I love their fish selections and the way they cook.Baked potatoes are very good beyond expectations. My son loves their prime rib. Desert selections does not have cheese cake so for me it is a disappointment. Service almost always fast and great. But don't forget to make reservation especially weekends.

We live nearby and sometimes go for an early dinner and get seated at the bar more easily. The friendliest and most adept bartenders with a sense of politeness and good humor serve you. Start off with a Bombay Sapphire gin martini. Then order the barbecue ribs to share. (portions are large) The are Delicious and come with the thinnest fresh French fries and cole slaw. Finger lickin good. Prices aren't cheap but the food and ambiance and drinks are first class each and every time we go. OH.. and you'll always meet someone sitting next to you that is interesting to talk with.

The ribs, potatoes are super good. I love the French fries too. They also have great salads. However, they are super busy and super slow. Make sure you have plenty of time to waste because the wait is long.

30 years ago when my husband and I first got married we lived in Atlanta and this was one of our haunts. It was a great restaurant then with super food and a great bar. We were in town last week and decided to dine there again. Well, obviously the tradition continues because the wait was an hour and well heeled folks were more than willing to wait for a table outside. There was no standing room in the bar - and no one was complaining. When we did get seated I was not disappointed. The prime rib was done as it should be (and few places can really do it right). All our food was excellent. The service was superb. When I asked about the fabulous cheese toast that was once served with each meal (and explained our history with the place) our waiter said they now just put a piece on each salad bowl but brought me a box of 6 pieces to go (gratis) with our check. It is nice to know that some places are as good or great as you remember them.

I hadn't been to a Houston's in close to 20 years but nothing has changed. They still have top notch service and great food. The cocktails were very well prepared. I had an old fashioned that was delicious. The steak special was a 16 oz strip and it was very tender and perfectly cooked. We were a party of three and there was not a single complaint the entire evening.

We had a nice family dinner. The food was great and the service was wonderful. It's been a while since I've eaten here and their salads certainly have shrunk over the years. My one suggestion is a $17 salad should more of an entree size than that of a large appetizer.

Houston's is probably the most professionally managed restaurant I've ever visited - and I've visited thousands in my 65 years on Earth. Service is exemplary, and there were 4 floor managers working the room (I'd guess about 300 customers) in addition to dozens of servers, three greeters/sitters and several Expos. A very well-oiled machine. Our server (Cory) was there when we wanted him, but didn't bug us when we didn't. A slight mishap when an Expo was placing a salad on the table, which resulted in a few spilled bacon bits, ended up with that salad being whisked away by the Expo immediately, and replaced in less than a minute - and we didn't say a thing - in fact, we would have eaten it as-is, but they acted on the slight mishap using their own initiative. I first ate at a Houston's in 2000, at the restaurant on Powers Ferry (since closed), and fell in love with their smoked salmon appetizer. It's got a very nice level of smokiness, and is hard-smoked, not Lox-y at all. I'm delighted to report that 19 years later, in a different Houston's, the smoked salmon appetizer is just as it was in 2000 - an impressive level of consistency and "don't screw up a good thing"-ness. I would definitely recommend coming here. The atmosphere is classy without being stuffy. We ordered an appetizer, salads and split an entree. Reservations are a good idea.

Can I give zero stars??? This is a local place living on its reputation with pricey food and a bar where you have to have reservations to sit at the bar - most bizarre!! If you haven't been there as a regular... don't go!! Not warm, not welcoming, and unless you know the bartender, the drinks suck! It is sad that a once-great restaurant has allowed 30yr employees and inexperienced management team to make it so undesirable. Atlanta has so many better options.

I went late afternoon/early evening and was pleasantly surprised at the ambience of the restaurant. The hostess seated me immediately and took my beverage order. Within minutes, my waitress appeared and took my order. Another waiter brought my coffee and this was followed by my meal. I had the kale/roasted chicken and it was quite satisfying (although I would have preferred the chicken on top of the kale instead of buried underneath). By the time I left, there was a line at the front door for those wanting to enjoy their supper. All in all, I will be returning this weekend again simply due to the ambience, low lighting, great service and good food.

Short and sweet! Those of you who know this restaurant will understand. They NO LONGER offer the prime rib ...shocker! Not only do they still have a limited menu, but they CHANGED the Cesar salad. No longer is it prepared with Romain lettuce as every Cesar does, but now they prepare it with, I guess, Kale......and corn in it. It's terrible to say the least. Who's bright idea was that??? Thats like saying they changed their roast beef to being prepared with fish! Not happy! Beware those of you that things have changed and not to the good. BRING BACK THE TRADITIONAL CESAR and Prime Rib. Don't change what makes you $$.

This stylish place has lots of class and a varied and interesting menu. A bit pricy, but good for a special meeting or lunch. Service is excellent, but there is a lot of background noise so conversation can be challenging. We've never had a bad meal here.

When asked by the family where I would like to dine on my birthday took some time to decide. My nephew ( being a picky eater) lives Houstons, so to ease everyone, I selected. We telephone and was told by the hostess that no reservations were left ( even tho we were dining early 6 pm) and was informed that it would be a 30-45 minute wait. I telephoned again in route and was told the same. Just to early for that response so we stopped by...informed no wait and we could be seated immediately. Service great, food as always delicious and with the exception of a clueless hostess, great! Crabcakes awesome and key lime pie worth the calories.

Really enjoyed dinner at Houston’s. The place was really busy and had a great vibe. We waited 30 minutes as we didn’t have a reservation but were seated in a booth by the bar. Service was excellent. We enjoyed an appetiser of grilled artichokes - if it’s available on your visit then do it! So delicious. Our entrees were also delicious and the plates left very clean. I will definitely return, it’s a cool place.

Excellent lunch.. Waiting was short and waitress was excellent in keeping us happy the entire service... Was personally not a big fan of the place until last Sunday and would recommend Houston for a good meal

And this one was no different. Fortunately, we got there early since we couldn't get reservations and although we were walk ins we were seated immediately. Service and the food was excellent, as usual. I had the Special of the Day, which was blackened trout and it was grilled and seasoned perfectly. Although I don't usually order desert, whenever I'm at a Houston's I always have the key lime pie which is truly something special. By the time we left the restaurant was packed and both the lobby and the area in front of the restaurant was crowded with folk waiting for a table. With that said, I highly recommend, but get there early if you don't have a reservation!

A nineteen dollar stone cold cheeseburger with an enormous bun and lukewarm french fries. Two servers who either forgot or ignored our request for lemon and spicy mustard. A host who held up his hand near my face like a cop when we suggested that there were several tables and booths were available. Four people at the host stand when we left fifty bucks lighter in the wallet, none of whom spoke to us, much less asked us to return. This Atlanta icon was known for years for reasonable prices, really good food and excellent service. Not anymore. I would rather go to Waffle House and be ignored but pay one fourth of what I did today for hot food prepared the way I asked for it. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. They have dropped the ball in the end zone in the final seconds of the game. Shame, shame, shame.

Spinach Dip is the go to! All other items are great as well. Turkey burger is amazing. Cocktails are good too. Enjoy!

I've been going to Houston's for over 30 years and always looked forward to it. As a native Atlantan, we frequented Lenox, West Paces and Piedmont. Things have changed over the years. I understand, but when the $23 salads are reduced to a side plate with hardly any chicken, avocado as an up charge and don't get me started on chicken tenders and cheese toast not being included? We will find another resource for spinach dip!!!!

I first ate at Houston’s in a different location, that has since closed. That location had great ambiance, service, and food quality. This one is meh at best! We keep getting gift cards to here so we keep going but we would not go here ever if not for the gift cards! The servers we have had in the downtown Atlanta location seem to be not at all interested in their guests anytime we have visited. Truly, the only person on staff who is exemplary is the bartender! He has been amazing every time! Maybe the wait staff feel that since they serve at a restaurant already well known and admired, they don’t have to provide decent service? Maybe the management is just terrible and not supportive to their wait staff. Whatever the reason, the service is subpar. I think they try to make their menu unique but everything I have ordered has not been of culinary excellence or even an enjoyable culinary experience. Their menu is honestly terrible! It’s haphazard and there is no cohesiveness. I even tried their sushi and the sushi at Benihana’s surpasses theirs! When I ordered their famous rotisserie chicken, it was actually bloody…bright red, leaking on the plate bloody! The manager then actually argued with me; treating me like I was ignorant and telling me that they temp check every chicken! That’s great but it didn’t stop the chicken from bleeding on my plate! He actually seemed mad that he had to come over to our table! I have over 20 years in F&B (including fine dining restaurants in Charleston, SC) and can not even begin to imagine a manager feeling that entitled! The bar drinks are ridiculously overpriced! The restaurant I worked at in Charleston had such a wonderful wine list that it was featured in Wine Spectator! The wine and alcohol list here is comically inadequate! When you go into a restaurant, you know that the wine and cocktails will be marked up and you’re paying for the experience but since Houston’s has subpar wines and overpriced cocktails using house liquors and the experience is not enjoyable, it isn’t worth it to drink here. And finally, ambiance…it isn’t terrible. We went one evening and there was live jazz and the booth we were in felt intimate. If it wasn’t for their bartender, the ambiance, their spinach dip and their French Dip sandwich, I would have given 1 star.

Despite reservation we had to wait and then we were rushed through the meal - clearly servers instructed to get us out quickly. Not recommended.

My wife and I went to Houston’s for our 31st Wedding Anniversary. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye which was 1/3 fatty. The GM Jordan did nothing to rectify the problem. He was condescending and unreasonable. I have written the Headquarters in Phoenix, AZ because the management team headed by Jordan is ruining this long time establishment. My wife and I have been eating at Houston’s for over 35 years and we had our first date there. This place going down is a shame.

We took 6 people here to celebrate my daughters graduation. We were squeezed into a booth that really did not seat 6 comfortably. They confused the order and the steaks were not cooked correctly. Medium well was borderline medium. Medium rare was borderline medium. The steaks cooked medium were medium rare. The manager offered to cook a new steak and said he would be back after it was delivered. The steak was medium well to well. It was dry and chewy. We never saw the manager again. My opinion is that if you pay 44.00 the steak should be done as you order it. Very disappointing meal.

Lots of easy parking - Lovely ambiance and super efficient service with friendly staff - food - oh my it’s really quite delicious!

I've gone to Houston's for over 20 years and I notice it's quality is declining. Not that it's a bad restaurant. The food is good. I see limits to their menu, especially related to their "full bar" which can't make a Pińa Colada or any frozen drink, and they don't offer any specialty drink menu. Specialty drinks are a great profit center for any bar and can boost customer satisfaction, so why a place like Houston's doesn't offer even one special is a mystery. Service is usually attentive but sometimes hit or miss. The music is so loud that neither customers or waiters can hear what the other is saying. This becomes frustrating due to repetition and incorrect orders. In my case I gave up after my order was mangled several times. Then the waitress bustled off before I could give my wine and salad order, Twice! Seriously, I had to yell as she speed walked down the aisle to get her to come back. Noise is a major problem there. Price wise, dinner for two, two steaks, two salads, one wine and one dessert ran $135. For the money there are many better places in town. If you want noise with your dinner go to Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse. Better steaks can be had at Ted's or Dantanna's.

Houston's is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. I eat there every chance I get! Today I had lunch there with a friend and we both had the Club Salad which is always delicious!! I really regret that the Windy Hill Houston's closed a few years ago...it was wonderful too! We had a great server today, Bryce, who took excellent care of us. We were too full to enjoy the Apple Walnut Cobbler or the Key Lime Pie desserts but they are by far the best of any restaurant anywhere!! I love it that we can make reservations there now as well.

The bar was lively and the restaurant has the trademark great service. I don't go often but am always glad to come back. We saw friends and moved mid meal to join another the table. The staff was easy to adapt. Thanks!

Went for hubbys birthday dinner, waitor was slack at first but then was better the rest of the way he was better ... one thing the menu is small and not too much selection... but I got the steak with Hawaiian marinade and it was pretty good ... Spinach dip wasn’t as good as I have gotten in other locations in Miami

My family and I have enjoyed going to Houston's restaurants in Atlanta for over 20 years. We have been long time patrons at the Lenox and West Paces Ferry locations. We went twice in the last two months only to find that our favorite menu items are no longer available or are altered. We have always ordered the "small, off menu" prime rib. A smaller cut of prime rib that was perfect for my 75 year old mother, myself and my 12 year old daughter. None of us wants a huge serving of prime rib much less the price tag associated with it. We also enjoyed the off menu chicken fingers. While they are still available, the quality is significantly reduced as is the size of the entree and the number of sides. When a child (age 8) orders a cheeseburger - the only option is an adult burger at an adult price. We will no longer be dining at Houston's. While the prices have risen the quality and the service have declined. We will instead be dining at Redlands and telling our friends to do the same. The quality of food is better, the service is excellent and the price is far better.

This was my first time at this Houston's location in 15 years. While the menu has changed, the service and food are the same. The service is excellent, the food is tasty. The place is busy, standing room only busy!! The only drawback is the wait.To avoid a wait you need to get there when they open. The Bar Scene is pleasant so if you must wait, do so at the bar. Make sure you try the Cheese Toast, it's excellent!!

We have been going to Houstons for many years AS THE FOOD , SERVICE IS ALWAYS GREAT.. The menu does not change much, but they do give u a nice choice of items, usually have a daily SPECIAL .Very active social bar.

We return to Houston's for our favorite dishes over and over again. In our case it is the ribs and the veggie burger. Pair them up with some wine and with the same efficient service that you come to expect from this chain you will have a good time. Houston's is not really a place to go for a leisurely meal but you do not feel overly rushed and you know going in that they will get you served and satisfied fairly fast. The decor is reasonably contemporary with lots of wood and low lighting. A good wine selection and an active bar makes any wait acceptable.

This is my all time favorite spot to eat. You can't beat the food, drinks and service. There is not a bad item on the menu. My favorite are the salads, and any seafood item. Always get the Lemon Drop Martini or the best Margarita in town. It may be a few pennies more than your usual steak house but you pay for what you get and the food and service is consistently excellent.

Houston’s is absolutely our favorite place. Everyone from the wait staff to the chefs to management are so professional. We eat at Houston’s at least twice to three times a month. Never in 15 plus years have we ever had a bad meal. Houston’s is always exceptional! Thank you for many a splendid meal Houston’s. Hint for some one that is going to Houston’s for the first time. Try the chicken fingers. They are not on the menu but they are the best ever.

We had a great dining experience here. It was my sister's birthday on Dec 5th. We made a reservation. The wait staff was very attentive. The chef came out and gave us a complimentary appetizer. I'd recommend this location and I'll go back.

Houston’s has been a long time favorite in this particular Houston’s is one of the best great apps... great drinks great food. If your in the neighborhood don’t miss it

Just returned from lunch today, we sat in the bar area, there was a problem with my Hawaiian steak, a bit on the fatty side, but after eating the "meaty" part, I just casually mentioned this to my server, she asked what I'd like to have instead, I said that's okay, just wanted to let you know...no need for anything else. Well, when she returned with the check, and without my asking, they'd removed the entire steak-charge from our bill. WOW! What service! Now I remember why it's one of my favorite dining spots in Atlanta!

We always make Houston's our "go to" place. The best Ceasar Salads, the best hamburgers and you have got to try the pork ribs, BEST EVER!!! I could go on and on, their soups change each day and are excellent, their grilled artichokes perfect, and the french dip is mouthwatering.

Have been going here many years .Have never been disappointed. The service, food, value always great.

It has been some time since I dined at Houston's and it was not a disappointment. There is a reason it is always crowded. It is consistently good and the ambiance is just right. It can be a bit noisy when crowded but that is usually overcome by well-trained staff and excellent food. Although the menu has changed a bit since my last visit they still have the best salads in Atlanta. I had the club salad and my colleagues had the tuna and Caesar salads. The salads are a meal in themselves and while they no longer serve their wonderful cheese bread with the salad, it was filling and a perfect lunch. We topped off the lunch with hot, fresh coffee and had another wonderful dining experience with professional colleagues.

Pros- good selection on menu. I had the Thai steak salad- very good and flavorful. Cons- Ate at bar- servers said "no plastic silverware was available" to go with my take home box- I was only able to eat half of my entrée. Staying in a hotel we needed plastic fork. I know they provide take out. Also, I am unable to drink a whole tea with meal let alone a refill. Was told to go cups were unavailable. For the price of their food I would expect a little more attention to detail. Did not realize they charge for bread with your meal- bread is not an appetizer at most establishments. The bread should be listed on the lunch menu as an appetizer if going to charge $10.00 for 4 slices of cheese bread. I do not mind to pay for a quality meal and I do not expect to get something for nothing- but we all know the markup on appetizers, drinks, and desserts are were restaurants make a sizable profit margin- so I would expect disposable silverware and cups would be available upon request.

Although I have eaten at Houston's many times it has been a while since I dined there. I recently met two colleagues for lunch and they recommended Houston's. I was happy to agree. This restaurant is always busy, well managed and a great place to eat (or drink). The staff is polite, hospitable and well-trained. They are also very attentive no matter how busy they are. And the food is always fantastic. On this occasion the soup of the day was chicken tortilla and I had to try it. Soup is always a favorite during the cold winter months in Atlanta. It was quite good and seasoned well, although I hope I did not offend the chef when I added a little hot sauce to it. I ordered the seared tuna salad and it was outstanding. We also had to order the "guilty pleasure" item of their famous cheese bread. It was toasted to perfection and a delightful complement to the meal. My lunch partners ordered hamburger sliders (had to take some home in a box) and the fish sandwich. All the dishes were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. We topped off the meal with a fresh cup of coffee and the staff kept our water glasses full. Overall, another wonderful dining experience and great meal. I am going to have to make more of an effort to eat here more often. If you are going for lunch get there early. We met at 1130 AM and were seated immediately however, there was a line of people waiting to be seated as we departed. On another note, the atmosphere in Houston's is perfect. I do not like brightly lit restaurants and the soft, down lighting and background music set the tone for a lovely business or personal dining experience.

The food was outstanding and the services was tremendous. Casual atmosphere but high-end experience. I'll be going back!

Visited here with friends and we had an amazing experience. Great Wine and amazing food with top class service. The ribs flake off the bone and taste taste superb.

We used to dine here all the time when we lived in Atlanta, and were hesitant to ruin the memories, but Houstons is as good as ever!! Great quality, very creative and fresh! The salads were awesome and the prime rib French dip is still the best!

This place used to be great, fun and Delicious back in the day. Now they are rude and arrogant, and wont even let you order what you want from the COVID take out/pickup menu. Staff is as arrogant as the owners. Dont waste you time and money on this place. We are DONE with the Houston's in ATLANTA.

Haven't been to Houston's in years. Visiting from Florida and wanted to get my Houston's fix. Was not disappointed. Arrived twenty minutes before our reservation and purchased a cocktail from the bar. Drinks are a little pricey, but worth it. When we were seated to our table, our server came in a timely fashion. I ordered the fish special and my son had the steak special. Both were very tasty and served hot. We had to slow down our server. Wanted to rush our dining experience. Overall, very satisfied and look forward to going back again. I highly recommend making a reservation.

I was heading to Houston’s tonight to meet my two friends. They beat me there because I was majorly delayed due to traffic. It happens. It’s Atlanta. What usually takes 10 minutes took 35. My friends ordered drinks, appetizers and salads. From my car I asked them to order for me. Peachtree was inching along but I finally arrived only to find out that the waiter had refused to put in my order because they needed our table. Our time was up. So, I didn’t eat.

The food was good and prepared correctly and the service was great. I still don't understand why they don't have sweet tea. I mean this is the South isn't it? Disappointed in the level of noise. Very difficult carrying on a conversation, but that's the price you pay for a popular restaurant.

Service here is fantastic. The burger is tremendous. Good craft beers on tap. The menu is wider than i know, but i just know the burger is phenomenal. So i don't really need to know the rest of the menu.

I called to make reservations, and the young lady that answered the phone was terribly rude. What is wrong with this restaurant? Do they not care about providing good customer service? I am very confused. They are in a nice location off of West Paces Ferry, yet the service is terribly lacking. How are they still in business?

Was there for dinner and had a great meal! Haven't been to Houston's in about 4 years. Quality of the food is still the same--excellent. However, prices have gone up. We all had the BBQ Ribs. They were every bit as good as I remember them--as I say, the "Best Ribs in Atlanta". Sorry to say, the price has increased to $31.00. Used to be $24.00. Still good, but a bit high. Had a few glasses of wine too--over-priced at $15 & &16 a glass. Would give them 5 stars if not for the prices. Overall, the meal was excellent. Our server, Aisha, was very accommodating and well trained.

It was really crowded for mid week but the food was excellent. I had the salmon and it was delicious. A real hopping place and a perfect location.

We went for a late diner on Friday night and there was a small 25 minute wait. We tried smoked salmon, shoe string fries, ribeye and spinach dip. Everything was amazing. Love this place for sure !!

My wife and I had just gotten married that morning and were in Atlanta to simply get away for the weekend. Houston's on Northside Dr. has always been my favorite one in Atlanta. We sat in a bar booth at first, but asked to be moved due to a couple arguing right beside us about their marriage. The hostess, servers, and manager on duty were all very apologetic, but it was in no way their fault. I just didn't want a meal at Houston's to be ruined by an annoying couple. The meal was exceptional as usual. It was lunch so I just got the hamburger, which is one of the best around, and my wife got same. The server was beyond kind and helpful, but I forget her name. At the end of the meal, when I was about to pay, the server said that our lunch was on the house. Well this was nice because it was about a $70 lunch with a couple of beers and a appetizer. We did not tell the server or anyone we had just gotten married, so it wasn't that. I did tell the server afterward that it was our wedding day so maybe they would feel better about giving us a free meal. I asked the server to charge me a dollar so I could leave a tip because I had no cash. When she came back she must've told the manager Patsy that we had just gotten married because she came over to congratulate us, and to apologize for us having to move tables. I told Patsy it was not a problem, and it would not affect our opinion of Houston's, but we very much appreciated the gesture. It is exactly the reason that Houston's is a great place. I wish more managers were like Patsy at Houston's on Northside Dr. Free meal or not, that is how you take care of customers when accidents occur, and they will occur at any restaurant in any city. Houston's has always been a treat for me because I live 3 hours away, and only get to eat there 2-3 times per year. This is also the Houston's that my late father used to take me to because it was the only one that used to have sushi, which is my only complaint really....BRING BACK THE SUSHI PATSY!

Lots of folks on a Saturday evening. Met a friend and enjoyed the Houston’s Hawaiian and a loaded baked potato. Bartenders were super.

Really good place to grab a great meal. Service is always excellent! Get the chicken tenders which aren't on the menu - delish!

Long time patron of Houston's at West Paces and each visit is always top notch. We are always greeted with a genuine smile and prompt attention, outstanding table service (who remembers how I like my tea), fresh food expertly prepared and a management team who makes you feel like your home. Katherine, Jordan, Zar and Faith thank you for an outstanding meal and dining experience. I look forward to our next meal together.

This is a great place to meet for a business lunch; good food, service is never rushed, and it draws a more "professional" clientele. It is a bit pricey but you expect that in a nicer place like this. I have never gone wrong with any of my selections. This past visit I had a fish sandwich that was great. My friend had a salad and she said it was very fresh, plenty of salad dressing and a good portion. If I'm on this side of Atlanta, this is my go-to place.

Their BBQ pork ribs fall off the bone. We get one order with fries and slaw and split it between the two of us. Hot towels furnished when you finish.

Classic and tradition are two words that come to mind. It does seem though that the portions are getting smaller while getting much pricier.

Love the spinach dip. Also got the Scottish Salmon and thought it was good. Nice amount so that I was not hungry after.

Haven't been to Houston's in years but decided to go for my daughters 21st birthday. The food was excellent, from the crab cakes to the veggie burger to the pork chops. All meals were flavorful and service was on point. The bill was what I expected as I prepared for our meal of 5 but really enjoyed the environment. Will be here again soon.

Very busy but service was friendly and fast. Sat at the bar and ordered and everything was wonderful. Had a prime rib dip with French fries and both fries and sandwich was the best I have ever had.

Service here is terrific. Food is excellent. Always a tough table. But always worth the wait. My son is celiac and they do a good job with him. Can cool a delicious burger non-binary and the French fries are in a dedicated frier so not contaminated with gluten.

I've been eating at Houston's since it opened 30+ years ago. Before I went into the airline business, I was in the foodservice equipment and supply business. Because my clients were restaurants, hotels, etc., I couldn't review anything. Now, I can tell the reader exactly what I think of a restaurant. Houston's has always been a favorite. Every restaurant will have those "off days" but I've never had poor service or a bad meal that hasn't been corrected immediately if I notified my server of an issue. On this visit, I was exhausted from flying all day. I wanted a steak and a baked potato...bad! I wasn't disappointed with a glass of Malbec, a Hawaiian rib eye and a loaded baked potato.
Best Meal of My Vacation
Recently visited Atlanta, GA for business and spent a few days afterward on vacation with family in the area. We were taken to Houston’s for dinner and it was by far the best meal I had during my entire stay. We were a party of 4 without a reservation on a Tuesday evening and although the restaurant was crowded, our wait wasn’t very long. Being from Philly, we don’t have Houston’s where we live so it was a first time experience. Hopefully it won’t be the last. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere were all excellent and everyone enjoyed their meal.
