Nice bar and grill close to our hotel

By JimH |

This was within walking distance of our hotel and we were looking for a light dinner. It filled that bill. It is probably more accurately classified as a sports bar and inside was full of excited sports fans watching the NCAA basketball tournament. We sat on the patio along Peachtree street and enjoy a more relaxing environment. We had a burger and a sandwich both of which were good based upon our expectations for bar food. We enjoyed the meal, the relaxing with a drink, and would return if we wanted the same again.

Nobody served us,

By Rey Pineda |

it's sad how african american people fight discrimination, but when a Mexican family enters to your restaurant, no one took our order, after more than 15 minutes at the table even they didn't offer us drinks. so we had to move to another place to eat without taste your food. my kids were so sad

Hudsin Grille

Busy TV screen style restaurant/bar. Seated straight away. Fair prices, food good. Staff pleasant. Cob salad nice as was Turkey Reuben and tata tots! Lively busy place.

Great burgers by the centennial park

By Ferran B |

We couldn't find a good not to expensive place in the area. Decided to go there and success, good burgers and service! Recommended this sports bar.

I like it

By KMD41 |

It's a sports bar people! That said, the food was good and even better - I was able to watch World Cup matches. When the main game came on, they had the sound up. No music on in the background...just the game. That I loved. Service was good; but our waitress did disappear quite often - no matter for us since we were into the game. Yes, I would come back for watching sports - I would not come back just to get a bite to eat though. Oh, I liked it here better than Dantanna's.

Dont understand the bad reviews

By biggie0820 |

Spent saturday night at hudsons, plenty of tv to watch the games, service was excellent and the food came out the way we ordered it and was hot and timely, The place was at capacity, will go back

Best time in a long time

By AJMartinez |

The food and ambience was great. We had a REALLY good time. One of the kids wanted to watch a particular sports game on one of the TVs, we asked if we could change it and they quickly did. We had the wings and tater tots and they were delicious. Our table was a little loud as there about 15 of us but not once did anyone complain. I want to thank Patrick because not only did he get EVERYTHING right but he also had to have patience, which he did.

Nothing fancy,but good

By Maja V |

We were tired after a long flight, but we had a good time. The staff was very nice, the food was good and not expensive.

So So Experience...........

By BugattiBoi88 |

Wow I can't believe I lived in Atlanta for almost two years IN MIDTOWN and never came to Hudson grill until the day last week! I told one of my old co workers lets meet up while I was in town to get some drinks and some appetizers! He suggested Hudson Grille! So I like the fact that they offer the complimentary valet here. Service with them was a little slow but other than that the valet attendant was nice. I requested a seat outside at the table top and luckily was seated right away! Our server came over and greeted me promptly. Although she was nice I'm not sure if she was new or not but the orders came out wrong twice and her timing on checking in with us could've been a lot better as well. They weren't that busy at all so. Anyways the drink recommendations of the Cucumber martini's and also the BBQ SHRIMP potato skins were great! I will have to return on my next trip to Atlanta.

Delicious surprise

By Marvin-TA |

During our stay in Atlanta, we've had lunch and dinner in this restaurant. The food was very delicious. We especially liked the fact that it's a little different from the usual food. If you like wings, it's a must, they are extremely well seasoned! But we've been very satisfied with everything we had ordered. The waitress we had during our first stay was fantastic, so friendly and attentive! I'm writing this a month later, so cannot remember her name unfortunately.

Lunch

This location was convenient, clean, and speedy for lunch. The wait staff is amazing and extremely friendly. Love it here!!

Great Sports Bar

By Vincent S |

One of the best sports bars in Atlanta & the food is awesome! They have a lot of TVs too, so you can keep up with all the games.

Fun But Very Loud

By McSix |

We were visiting Atlanta (and the south) for the first time and wanted Low Country Boil. We had it at Hudson's and very much enjoyed it. We love sports bars and enjoyed all the televisions, but this sports bar was louder than any we've ever experienced. It made conversation impossible. So, great food, great sports atmosphere, but I hope they turn down the volume a bit,

Lots of people were having fun

By JenBeaches |

Fun place to watch a game, but the bartender doesn't know how to make a decent drink. They keep serving drunk people even when they can barely stand up. You should probably just order a beer, although the draft beer wasn't cold. Maybe go somewhere else now that I think about it.

Surprisingly Good!

By Rico M |

I've been planning a visit for some time. I finally made it in and am pleased with my experience! The atmosphere is very cool for a dinner, or even bellying up to the bar to watch the big game. The service was great. My shrimp and grits was amazing! I will be back, and I would definitely recommend you visit Hudson Grille!

Awesome!

By AnonGA |

Music Midtown a block away & football Saturday made for a PACKED place, but our server didn't miss a beat! The food and drinks were fabulous and we never had to wait too long to ask a question or get a refill. LOVE this place. Will definitely go back.

Nice ambience

By Chach |

At dinner the food is pretty good, the honey chipotle boneless are awesome. At night to watch football they have a lot of tv, great variety of beers.

above average ....

By Bill-Vancouver |

I really wanted to like this place a lot - we went with a small group ... twice ... I have to say the service was good ... the food was ok ... over all a good place to relax and have a meal.

Great Bar

By Alisha W |

I would eat the spinach dip every day if I could. Trivia night is awesome and there is great space available if you have a group event!

Fun and tasty

By suz |

On our way to an Atlanta event and stopped for a quick bite. Great servers and a delicious burger were appreciated. Dozens of TV's for sporting events. Fun time do visit!

Good sports bar

By Exleviman |

We were there for Saturday lunch and to watch some college football. Atmosphere is what you see in every sports bar: lots of tv's up high, booths and tables. Also, people at the bar being very loud and enthusiastic when their team did something worth celebrating. they had a wide selection of burgers, with somewhat unusual sauces and combinations. I got the NY Reuben and wasn't disappointed, had a generous portion of corned beef. Wife had turkey and avocado panini; she enjoyed it except for surprise of having red onions on the sandwich (which she didn't know would be on it). Lots of wait staff; ours was 'putting in her time', responding when we called her but not volunteering anything. A solid 4 star restaurant.

Decent Burger - Inferior Service

By Dalecorp |

Stopped by for a quick lunch and were treated to a fairly decent burger unfortunately accompanied by solidly inferior service. On the basis of the service alone, would not be in a rush to return.

Great experience

By robbinsjnj |

First visit to the chain. We had a great experience. Though it was college Saturday and Georgia was playing we did not have to wait long to be seated. Both the the hostess and the waitress we extremely friendly and helpful. Great selection of draft beer, there must have been at least 40 beers on tap!! The food was also very good. I ordered the Black Bean Burger and was really impressed with the sandwich; not your normal frozen patty but an actual hand packed burger. And the quantity of food was more than expected. The atmosphere made for an enjoyable afternoon in midtown.

Passable food at a lively sports bar

By GoldenBear_Husker |

Dined at Hudson Grille Midtown for lunch on a Saturday in late April. The food was good (burger was cooked properly, chicken sandwich tasty and flavorful, wings good but sauce last real spice and flavor) but Oh, what a noisy place. We sat outside and the volume on the television sets outside made it difficult for us to have a conversation at our table of four. Combine the television noise with the cacophony of sounds from the street, and it made for less than a pleasant meal. The service was attentive and friendly, if not a bit scatter-brained (forgot refills on sodas, had to ask twice for silverware). A reasonable sports bar with acceptable food.

Good Bar Food, Atmosphere

By TipperNC |

Stopped by here while visiting a buddy in the ATL...had the Pedro's Delight burger and it was outstanding. Cooked to order ("with a little pink") perfectly, and the toppings (guac, salsa, sour cream, sriracha mayo) were right on target. Served with about a thousand tater tots, this meal was as delicious as it was unhealthy. But you need to have a meal like this once in awhile, and if I am ever back in the neighborhood I am getting the Pedro again. My wife and son also liked their food, a salad of some sort for her and chix fingers and fries for the boy, natch. I slummed with a Miller Lite so I can't really speak to the beer selection, but my son wanted chocolate milk and they had it so plus one star for that. Service was great, though the restaurant wasn't all that crowded on a Saturday around 3pm. A lot of sports on the ubiquitous flat screens but they mercifully had the volume turned down a couple notches below obnoxious so we were able to hold a conversation. All in all a nice dining experience in a comfortable atmosphere.

Best Place to Watch the Games

By Belinda D |

A ridiculus # of TVs...get there early to reserve a TV for the game you want to watch. Outside is nice depending on the weather. Food is great. NY Reuben was delicious. Drink specials are good $5 martinis and $2 shots. Get there early on big game days...they fill up fast and you could end up on a 1.5 hour waitlist. Great homemade chips Good wings

Great place for a bite

By Suzanne R |

We were looking for a late night bite to eat and wandered into the Hudson Grille. Service was great. Server and manager were very attentive. Even the other servers stopped by and asked if we needed anything! We each had a burger and fries. Food was great. Tons of TVs for watching the games. If you're in the area and looking for a place to grab a bite to eat with friends, I'd recommend it!

Ok place for a quick bite

By MrCaliAdvisor |

If you are hungry and need a good sports bar to catch a game and get a quick bite to eat, this is the place.

Quick eats!

By 2happi |

Stopped for quick meal before heading for a girlfriends outing at the Fox. Was not crowded and so service was on point esp from the bar! Our entrees were timely, hot and tasty. Our servers were great. Prices are reasonable, even cheap compared to some nearby eateries. Valet parking was great.

Return visit

By cammie g |

I enjoyed my first visit so much that while waiting for my significant other I stopped by for late lunch/early dinner. The food is amazing with alot of flavor,a favorite when I visit GA!

Great Atmosphere and Great Food

By TheLesanes |

This was my first visit to Hudson Grille. I am so glad I made the choice. I was please to see the atmosphere filled with televisions. Since I love sports, I was excited to be able to have the televisions as an option. I was also excited to see the daily drink specials. The drinks were good. I would just like to see a full glass for my martini and not half full. The Greek salad with jerk-seasoned salmon is very good and quite filling. I was surprised to get so much for the price. I was also pleased to see the many menu options. There was so much I wanted to try. So, I will be going back tomorrow!

Pretty average sports bar.

By bathos13 |

Food was okay and the drinks were fine. The atmosphere seemed a little sterile. Staff was friendly enough but felt forced. Felt like a sports bar at the airport.

Good Food and drinks

By David H |

This was a second trip to Hudson Grille, and it does not disappoint. Great chips and bleu cheese dip. Makers mark burger was fantastic. Servers are very friendly.

Good sports bar; decent food

By Bryan H |

This place gets crowded for game days which can slow the service. They have a great Turkey Avocado Panini. Beer selection is also really good. Would go again.

Great place to hang out & watch football !

By Shea J |

They had pretty good food and a good selection of beer . Service was great , they are very busy during football season and it's very loud but it's still fun :)

Truly good food

By henrycpa91 |

Went twice, both for business lunch. Pimento burger and fries the first time and catfish rueben and fries the second. Also pimento cheese appetizer. It’s the real deal. All delicious. Great friendly service.

Great for SEC football

By Jeffrey M |

There is no better place in Midtown to spend a Saturday watching college football. Plenty of tv's and you will surely find some comrades to watch your favorite team. Go for the sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce.

Sports Bar Midtown

By scubaBJ2014 |

Mexican, burgers and sandwiches. I had the BLT, friend had the chicken tacos, which were really good. Outdoor seating available. Service was very friendly and attentive.

Divas On Deck April Birthday

By Diva Meeka |

My friends and I decided to visit here and have drinks to kill time before the comedy show that we were going to at the Philips Arena after having lunch. We opted to sit out on the patio to enjoy the lovely weather and to sight see or people watch as we call it :). Nice and pleasant waitress. The drinks were good and we ended up ordering food. We ordered the buffalo cheese dip and Spinach dip, both came with tortilla chips. We had better but that was fine since we were mainly there to have drinks. After a couple of rounds we were feeling might fine and ended up ordering wings. The wings had a nice flavor but a little too overcooked for my liking. We would visit here again to try out the entree's.

Understaffed or Underqualified

By tmarcone |

I saw several reviews below about the slow service and have to concur. I waited a good 5-7 minutes at the bar on a slow Tuesday night for a beer. Skipped on dinner as I was hungry and moved on down the road to where I could get some service. The beer was cold - they had that going for them.

Worst service

By Lindsay K |

I came here with my husband on a Saturday evening, and had the worst service ever. Now, it was pretty busy, but not as busy as I expected since there were a couple big football games on. We sat down, and it took forever to get our drinks. Our waiter was basically absent and we spent most of our night waiting for him to appear from wherever it was that he disappeared to. Our food came out cold, likely because it sat in the kitchen waiting for him to show up to get it. When I asked for the check, he cleared our table completely, including my half finished drink - even though I asked him to leave it. It was NOT that loud. When the check came, we had to explain that sodas have free refills - he tried to charge us $2.75 for each drink we had. If this is the level of service that can be expected during sporting events, Hudson Grille should not call itself a sports bar. We'll watch games some place else from now on.

Touristy but reliable.

By Scott B |

Hudson Grille is typical bar food fare. Service is not bad but nothing to rave about. Lots of tv's and lively atmosphere. Parking is terrible at this location.

Perfect Place.

By Anna B |

I went and yes there was games on, but it didn't bother me. Sit outside because it's not so noisy. The ugasbreakfast burger.

well....

By atnewkirk2016 |

from out of town. came in on a sunday. food was good. just had appetizers. service was great. guy helped me choose a local beer. i appreciated that. crowd got a little rowdy as we were leaving. the game had started. no problem , that's expected at a bar. car was stolen from valet. yep. valet guy gave keys to some random dude. he just drove away. only complaint. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Quiz night

By cookieham |

Attended the Hudson Grille with our US team for the Tuesday night quiz. Noise in the restaurant made for a challenging event. Both food and service were ok for a sports bar environment.

Classic Burger Gone Bad

By Smarie |

I had not had a good burger in several months and had a taste for a delicious 'local all-natural certified angus beef ground chuck' burger, touted on the Hudson Grille menu. I ordered the burger medium with cheddar cheese and fries. Burger arrived very well done and the fries lukewarm. It does not take much for my appetite to fade and when my food arrived in such an unappealing fashion-well there goes my appetite and my taste for a burger. Upon examining my burger, which had a generous amount of lettuce, tomatoes and onions and a minimal amount of cheese, the bun was nearly burnt on both sides and the outside of the top bun felt almost stale. <SIGH> Needless to say, I was not happy with this visit to Hudson Grille. However, I live in downtown and have visited the establishment with much more favorable results. Generally, I will send my food back if not satisfied, but this evening I was tired and just wanted to go home. Probably won't return any time soon as there are way to many choices for me to select from.

Great lunch visit

By ATSgrl |

A group of coworkers went here for lunch as it was close to our hotel/conference location. It wasn't very busy, were seated quickly. The Tuesday special was 2-for-1 appetizers, so several at our table ordered one or two appetizers for lunch - they had a large selection of appetizers. Also had several $6.95 lunch menu options, chose the chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya, which was very good. The sausage had a nice spice to it, as did the jambalaya. Service was good. Had a very enjoyable lunch here, would return.

Just had bloody mary

By Eveline C |

We stopped there on the way to High Museum of Arts at noon on a Sunday because we wanted to watch the end of the Wimbledon finals and they have tons of TV. The bar is great and the Bloddies were good if a bit too spicy. Everyone we interacted with was friendly.

Great Place for Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

By Mylisa53 |

We recently had our son's wedding rehearsal dinner here. We wanted to have a fun location and atmosphere which would be different from the formal wedding the next day. We entertained 105 people in the upstairs room. It easily accommodated this many people. We did not hear any noise from the lower level. It is very hard to find a unique, fun place in midtown, or downtown for an event that can accommodate a large number of people, have a good sound system and not be a hotel or cost you an arm, leg or your first born which in this case was the groom. This restaurant and location fit every requirement that we had and more. Russ Adams, the managing partner, was an absolute delight to work with. He was always calm, which helped me stay calm, answered my emails quickly and offered helpful suggestions. We booked months ago but when I went the week before the event to finalize everything, he remembered every detail of my event. I had some people with dietary restrictions and he worked closely with me to meet their needs. All of the servers were helpful and efficient. Russ was around as was one of his assistants at all times to help in any way necessary. The food was presented buffet style and it was hot and plentiful. They have a wireless mic which we used for the toasts and they have an excellent sound system which allowed every one in the room to hear well. They kept the food behind a drape and when we were ready to eat the servers pulled back the drape. When we were done they closed the drape and we did not have to see or hear the clean-up. We also showed a video montage of the bride and groom. I gave Russ the DVD and he played it on their system on all of the TV screens including the large drop down one. Having all the TV's all over the room afforded everyone a great view of the video. We had appetizers before the meal. Russ had the staff put napkins on the bar and then spread the home made potato chips across the bar which gave a fun presentation. Everyone loved them with the blue cheese dip and by the end of the evening they were completely gone. The desserts were also made by the company and were absolutely delicious. The restaurant offers free valet parking. They have a side entrance by the stairs to the upper level which we used for our shuttle drop off so our guests did not have to walk through the entire restaurant. They also have an elevator which was used by our older guests to easily access upstairs. There are bathrooms upstairs which were clean and well stocked with soap and paper towels. The price of the event was extremely fair and the value was excellent. Overall, this was a great experience and I strongly recommend this location to anyone wanting a different, fun party for a wedding or other event. Russ made the experience easy and worry free. The food was consistent and good. The party was so much fun that our guests would not leave when it was over! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an event location. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Classic Angus Monday Burger is a Good Value

By Jan_from_Atlanta |

Busy sports bar, which I am not a fan of, but do like the Classic Angus Monday Burger... yes on Mondays each week. It's $5.95 and $6.95 with cheese and bacon. You get your choice of one their many sides. I got the mac and cheese this time and was good. To go orders, which I did, are easy to place here. So a good burger from an average sports bar.

Go For Drinks & Sports, Eat Somewhere Else

By CactusGary |

We watched a March Madness basketball game here. No shortage of televisions. We sat at a high top table near the bar. The wait staff was great and checked in frequently. The drink specials were an unexpected surprise, like three dollar Fireball shots! But the food was average at best. My recommendation: come here for the atmosphere, sports and drinks, go somewhere else to eat.

Okay

By maorlick |

Not a bad place to eat prices are reasonable food tastes good. Lunch specials are great. Lots T.V.s to watch sports.

Favorite sports bar that the "locals" go to

By cscottpalmer |

While visiting a friend that lives in midtown Atlanta over the weekend we asked "Where do the locals go?" He said Hudson Grille! This place was a perfect pre-concert/ballgame meal. Lots of tvs and cold beers. He told me that Hudson Grill was known for their burger and he was right! The burger was cooked a perfect medium rare. We sat outside and got to experience the sights & sounds of midtown. Highly suggest this place and will return for a great meal.

Great Service

By Casey W |

I took my parents here for dinner on a Friday night. 5 minutes after we ordered, the power on the whole block went out, and it ended up taking Georgia Power an hour and a half to get there and fix it. In the meantime our waiter was great and made sure our drinks were full. Management also sent out complementary chips to those who decided to wait it out. When the power finally came back on, our food was out in 15 minutes and was very good! I recommend the blue cheese burger! Service was great, and I really liked the atmosphere (when we did have power, the TVs weren't too loud, which I can't stand at normal sports bars). I will definitely be back!

Thanksgiving and Football!

By Julie B |

Being away from home during the Thanksgiving holiday, I looked for: 1) a restaurant that was open, 2) that seemed somewhat casual and 3) one that didn’t cost an exhorbitant amount of $. Mission accomplished. Food was great, atmosphere was festive (sports bar-ish) and the service was impeccable! The traditional turkey/mashed potatoes/stuffing dinner was very good!

Perfect for gameday

By lexielovesbama |

Took the Marta from the Alpharetta area to MIdtown and found this place a block away! They were full of tvs for game watching and the drink specials were amazing! The sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dip were great!

Best bar by far

By Tiffany C |

The entire staff was friendly our waitress was phenomenal. The food was awesome. We were there to watch the football game. Many televisions to watch with all the games on. We even got to watch our hometown game. Big ups

Redemption!!! Much better visit

By bhlraven1916 |

They redeemed themselves. Great service!!! Wings were great and probably some of the best French Fries I ever had. My daughter had a Salmon Ceaser 🥗 and was good. My son ordered Hot Wings that were cold, but our waitress took them back. Great job this time!!! Great play to watch football if you're a Baltimore Ravens fan.

Very good

By Orange Bug |

Kitchen open later. Traditional bar food. Wings very good. Double crispy tater tots better. Yum! Service was very good.

Conference group

By AustinnBoston |

Upstairs reserved for group of 30+. The service was good and wait staff was friendly. However, the drinks were very limited. Ordered from set menu. The Caesar salad had too much dressing, cheese was dry and bread was stale. Had surf and turf - both beef and shrimp were flavourless. Downstairs seemed like a good place to hang and watch sports. Hope it was an off night due to weather.

Good veggie burger!

By Tabitha |

Drinks were good! The cucumber martini was good. Lots of $5 drink specials. The spinach and quinoa burger was great. You get to choose how its prepared and a side and there are lots to choose from! Service was just okay- didn't seem to be in any rush to serve us or go out of her way to even get silverware or anything.

I really wanted to love it.

By Scott K |

I was walking by this place with my son and we were immediately drawn to it. It looks inviting from the street with a nice, open feel including some outside seating. From the street we could see the many TVs and since it was baseball playoff time, this held great appeal. We were quickly seated at a table where we could see a number of TVs including both baseball games that were currently being broadcast. That's where the love affair ended. Our waiter was friendly enough, but the level of service was questionable throughout including virtual disappearing acts. Our order was taken without writing (a huge peeve for me, especially when they get it wrong) and one of the items received was incorrect. The food we order was all pretty typical pub fare and it was all good, but only the mac and cheese was outstanding. They boast their large draft beer selection, and it was a nice selection, but the beer I received was slightly sour suggesting either they do a poor job of cleaning their taps or a poor job of rotating their beer. Prices are reasonable, especially for the part of town they are in. Overall, I really wanted to love the place, but the service, food, and drink define a restaurant regardless of other amenities, and this one came up short.

GREAT SPORTS BAR

By DPurser |

We visited Hudson Grille last Saturday before an Atlanta Braves game. The location is very convenient to the Midtown Marta station. We were there about 5:00 pm and the place was packed. We were seated promptly and greeted by our server shortly after. We ordered lunch from a huge menu selection and was not disappointed with our choices when it was ready and served within 20 minutes. This place is definitely a sports bar, so if you're going for a quiet intimate lunch/dinner this is not your place. I don't think I have ever seen so many televisions in one place in my life. I jokingly said on a facebook post, I haven't seen this many TVs in any booking lounge in Vegas....TRUE! The staff really seemed to be on top of their game, we were made feel welcome and treated like our business was appreciated. The food was amazing and there was a lot of it!!! We will definitely be back....

Great Place for Games and Drinks

By MCTTRAVEL57 |

I visit this restaurant weekly during football season. I love the atmosphere on Game Day. The drinks are good. The main thing I hate about this restaurant is the food. I have eaten everything on their menu and I can not state that anything on the menu is anything to write about. If this placed improved their menu then they would be a 5 star Sports bar. Everyone who visits orders food hoping that somehow the quality has improved since the last time we visited. Always to their disappointment it has not. Praying that just like the NFL teams who grew stronger due to the draft, that this place will drafted a few good cooks during off season. At least make a descent burger, fries and wings.

Do not eat here unless you want your car stolen!

By kjganovsky |

Food was ok, service was better, Valet parking company HORRIBLE.....the valet parker Mike, seemed the least bit concerned that after he parked my car he then turned around and handed my key to a complete stranger without the valet ticket who then proceeded to take my SUV mercedes and drive away. My car was the third one stolen from Hudson's. Seems to be a theft ring of some type going on. If you find it a "MUST" to eat here, walk, uber, or use a taxi....DO NOT VALET. Oh and did I mention the Manager could care less about my situation. GET A NEW VALET COMPANY>>>SUNSHINE VALET AND PARKING SUCKS!

Nice bar

By mgoblue174 |

Nice selection of beer. Had chicken sandwich which was good. Sat at bar. Very good service Have a nice outside patio and plenty of televisions

Great place

By bhoefener1 |

Had ribeye and shrimp& grits, both yummy and not too fatty! Waiter was Elton, he was great, on top of it. Manager was donna, she made her rounds and was willing to help. There was music, trivia and television however nothing too loud so could still have a conversation. Recommend visiting. :)

Good food and beer

By TequillaSunset |

I was visiting my son at Ga Tech and we came here after being told it would be 45 min. before we got a table at Taco Mac. This place was across the street and had the similar "Sports Bar" theme. It was Sunday afternoon, so the place was packed. The service was ok, but the beer and food were really good. They had an extensive menu of microbrews and it was hard to decide on one menu item, since so many sounded great. When you're looking for a burger, a beer, and football, there's no reason to wait 45 min. if you don't have to. As Arnold would say, "I'll be back".

The Worst

By 2017JCY |

My family of three visited I think the day after Thanksgiving. The service was horrible from this particular waitress (African American Female, tongue ring, ear ring). The food was average and not that great. We had the appetizer sampler with the wings, dip and sliders which were not that good. I had some wings which were just ok. We parked valet which was cool. The waitress did not want to serve our table for some reason so we waited for a hour then had to complain to another waiter to get the manager after she kept making a big deal about not serving us to her co workers in front of us. The manager never came but the other server which was a guy came and took care of us but it took forever for us to get our food. It took about another 45 minutes for our food to come which included my 5 year old kids meal. The whole experience was horrible and totally unprofessional.

Nice place before the game!

By S1bamafan |

This is an excellent place to eat before you continue your trip down Marta to the stadium. Very good sports atmosphere and the kind of fried food and sweet tea you expect in ATL before a game. Helpful tip...larger bathrooms upstairs!! To wait in line to use the bathroom was a drawback.

Great time with friends

By Earl K |

Dang it I forgot to count all of the hi def TVs . They had so many and a huge screen that I didn’t even watch at all . The waitress was so cute and adorable . The ribs were awesome . The beer was cold and fresh . The room was a bit loud but we just yelled like everyone else lol . The waitress invited us back and we will take her up on her offer.

Semper Bona (Always Good)

By MRobertson |

Occasionally slip into Hudson Grille when looking for just the right atmosphere / brew / grub. I usually go with the very tasty Makers Mark Burger and then of course add a few more ingredients to perfect an already great burger. The beer has a good variety also. The staff and bartenders are always friendly and top-notch. Hudson Grille has proven to be more trustworthy than most people claim to be. When near Midtown Atlanta, stop in and enjoy!

Underwhelmed

By ATLchick4life |

Chose to order lunch for a group from this location based on the fact that they were on UberEats and could get speedy delivery. We ordered 3 of their "TY salads" which Uber eats listed as having chicken. All three arrived with no chicken. Contacted the restaurant and spoke to employee who said "Thanks for the feedback" and promptly hung up. Called back 3 more times to get a manager and after being put on hold numerous times finally got Key, a manager, who was very professional. Apparently the restaurant's "TY salad" does not offer chicken so they were not in alignment with what Uber offered. Key, offered us a gift card but refused to mail to our office and said we would need to come and pick it up. Although the gift card was a nice offer, going the extra step to provide additional customer service would have gone a long way.

ok sports bar

By 474alanh |

A real sports bar, more than twenty tvs. Staff is very welcoming and gracious, and the ambience is comfortable. Probably a great place to see a game. The problem was that the food was very average. I only ordered one there was nothing either good or bad: it was just average in eery respect (taste, presentation, size, price). Bottom line: if you're there to see a game it might be great but as a plain restaurant, pretty uninspiring.

Food good, slow service

By Beckyone |

Atmosphere was great. We stopped for lunch. They had a great lunch special with half pound burgers with side for five bucks. The food, when we finally got it, was good. Service is extremely slow. We had to ask another server to please send our server over. Even after asking, she took her dear time about getting there. It was not that busy. The place was half empty. Slow and uncaring service made me choose an average rating.

5$ for what

By Vic S |

We walked over from another restaurant to eat here. The manager informed us that we would need to pay $5 each to watch a pay-per-view boxing match in order to dine. This didn't seem fair to us, especially since we had no interest in boxing. So, we decided to leave and went to Taco Mac instead, where we were warmly welcomed.

Terrible service and below average food

By sj2000gold |

Don't waste your time here. I went recently with a friend and it was busy. There was one girl killing herself trying to bus tables that were dirty. There were 3 hosts (2 females, one male) at the host stand talking. I suggested that they could perhaps could help the one girl trying to get tables ready for the long line of customers. All 3 just looked at me and did nothing. I had eaten here before and knew the food wasn't worth the wait so we left and walked across the street to Taco Mac. At Taco Mac, the host was helping the wait staff bus tables and the line moved quickly. I emailed Hudson Grille about the poor customer service and received no response.

Service was great but the food was bad

By McMermaid |

My husband and I went to the Hudson Grille for the MSU vs. Oregon game. We heard it's one of the two local MSU alumni bars in the area. Finding it was easy. It was in a really cool area of Midtown Atlanta and parking ($3 per hour) is right across the street. The atmosphere was awesome. Lots of seating and wide open (people aren't shoved tightly together). There was a TV convenient to every pair of eyeballs. We arrived at 6:00pm for the 6:30pm game and the place was nearly filled up. The hostess seated us within seconds and our server arrived at the table quickly to introduce the drink specials (Miller Lite & Coors Lite for $3.25). Our server's name was Ashley and she was very prompt and professional. I ordered the bratwurst with mac-n-cheese on the side. The brat was way over cooked, including the bun. Both the brat and the bun were crunchy completely through. The mac-n-cheese wasn't very tasty. The sauce was white and like the sauce you'd expect for a scalloped potato recipe rather than a cheese sauce. It also had a strange flavor, like an herb was added that just shouldn't be there. My husband ordered the buttermilk chicken large plate. We were thinking chicken on the bone but it came out as two overly fried, breaded chicken breasts over a pile of mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken was burned, crunchy dry completely through. There was nothing "juicy" about it. We did not complain or send the food back because it was super busy. They were definitely swamped and the servers, bartenders and table runners were working their butts off. The service, the seating staff, the food runners were all really thoughtful and polite so I assume if I had complained, it would have been resolved satisfactorily but the other side is coin is that I should receive quality food the first time - you decide if I am wrong to write a tripadvisor review without trying to resolve it. Finally, again, Ashley was just awesome. She kept up with the drinks and was on top of her game all night. We stayed till the game was over and didn't regret the venue. We will come back and hope we get Ashley's section again but we will eat before we arrive next time.

If you drive ... use the valet.

By GaddisGadabout |

Good place to watch a game. They have TV's at all angles and were very willing to put on an "out of town" with limited local interest. Excellent draft beer selection and 12 ounce pours are reasonably priced. The ultimate nachos made me wonder why I haven't nachos for so long. Parking is limited but they have valet ... USE IT. The nearby parking decks are confiscatory.

I love Atlanta - a downtown review

By Djones159 |

I have been to this Hudson Grille a number of times, and they are consistent with valuable service. The staff are truly wonderful. I love the atmosphere. You can sit inside, or enjoy the scenic view of downtown Peachtree. The food is delicious, and the drinks are outstanding. If you go by there, try the signature drink, “The ATL”. It reminds me of a long island Ice T with a hint of peach puree. We had the best server who could suggest some great meals. So shout out to Dionne!!!! She one of the best. As I stated before, I’ve there a few times, and the entire staff is on point with providing excellent service.

What a deal

By KMR317 |

We decided to eat here since we had some gift cards from the Hawks game. Server was wonderful and informed us of the 2 for 1 appetizer special and the atmosphere was great. The free wifi helped us entertain the kids and we were able to have a relaxing meal on our last night in town.

Nice but Slow

By Grady S |

We went to Hudson Grille. I had a hamburger, which was good. My wife had the lobster salad, and was very disappointed; she described the lobster as "old", and not tasty. The service was a bit slow. Nice locations, lots of TVs showing sports.

Typical bar food, not special but OK

By John D |

Lunch, very typical menu, sports bar atmosphere, is fine for what it is, but there are nicer options around midtown of course.

YUMMMM

Love The Burgers, Love the Service, Love the Beers!!! Look forward to coming back again in the near future!

Great food, great sports, but WAAAY too loud

By Christina D |

This was a great spot to get good food while watching Sunday football, however it was so loud that you will definitely have hearing damage without earplugs. I feel sorry for the staff who have to work in those conditions. Our server had lost his voice from having to yell.

Enjoyable sports bar with good food,

By Sumita B |

Came here to honor my boyfriend who is a veteran, they provided free entrees. Had a wonderful lunch, had a huge vegetable burrito that took home to eat fir 2 more days! Staff was attentive. Can watch most games from where ever you sit. Will be coming back for sure. Affordable prices.

Surprise Find

By SantaDuke |

Stumbled across this close to Margaret Mitchell House in Atlanta. Appears to be a Sports Bar, but great food and atmosphere out on the open space. Watch the city go by while having a delicious meal and beer. Good selection of ales and beer, local & national. Stop & Enjoy!!!

Great place to watch a game. More TV's than you can watch. Food was good and the service was great.

A Sports Bar With Good Food

By Martin T |

Hudson Grille is part of the newer generation of local sports bars that try to disguise that the old traditional look of wall stuff, mosaic floor tile and other cool amenities like air hockey, ping pong tables and other sports amenities are really new. While I'd personally prefer that they spent less money on wall stuff and have lower prices, here we go. Having said that, this is one heck of a sports bar. Once you get inside and look around you will see TVs on every available surface. Anything and everything is playing. Generally speaking Hudson Grille serves bar / pub-style food from a totally decent bar menu. The restaurant menu however is fairly extensive. There are all your normal bar-style items like chicken wings, burgers, chili cheese tots, nachos, etc. but you can also find a pretty good selection of healthier options like rib eye steak, fresh salmon or roasted red pepper hummus, turkey meatballs and zucchini pasta. Additionally you can find some great sandwiches such as their turkey Reuben, New York Deli Reuben, marinated mozzarella BLT and turkey avocado panini. Pretty good if you're you have a group that cannot get together on one type of food. Naturally there is an extensive selection of beers and wine. After all this IS a BAR. All the food we ordered was very good and quite tasty. Everyone at our table joined the clean plate club that night. The Ruben sandwiches were delicious and were big enough to be divided up for 2 people. For dinner my daughter chose the Vegetable Plate which is your choice of four sideliners. I chose the tortilla soup and shared half of the N Y Deli Ruben as my dinner. The rest of our group had fish tacos, a lobster cobb salad, seared tuna and peach BBQ baby back ribs. Unfortunately the night we were here the waitress service, or the kitchen was slow. That was quite disappointing but we got through it. If we lived in the neighborhood we would probably go back, but as we had to drive 20 minutes to get here, I do not think so.

SECURITY NEEDED IN THE PARKING LOT

By Shantamr36 |

Great space for a private event. The main area (first floor) was crowded but calm. Parking area in the rear-very very right and small. The waitress was pleasant and nice. The drinks are good. Beware-SEVERAL CARS WERE BROKEN INTO WHILE WERE WERE THERE.

Good sports bar

By andhewittscores |

Went into to meet friends who took a while to show up but took a high top and enjoyed a couple of beers. Great selection on tap of craft beers. Food was good, nice selection of food and I had a chicken BLT which was excellent.

Solid American Food, good service

By Tink0707 |

Average American Food. Cocktails and beer are reasonably priced, typical bar food was fine. The service was good; sat on the outdoor patio and it was busy, but the servers kept up.

Great experience here!

By Vacation707 |

We went last Friday night after flying in from Philadelphia. Since it is a sports bar, I wasn't expecting much from the food, but it was delicious! The Greek salad was really good, and the mac and cheese was incredible! The service was good and the prices were reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised and would go back again.

Sports and Fun

By GeorgeMangrum |

Great atmosphere and food - great for a group and football party Various menu that is tough to decide on - all looks great!

Great waiter!

By Brigitte P |

We went there on a rainy Monday. The waiter made sure we had perfect seating for a rainy day. The food was delicious. I ordered salmon on a peach sauce and my husband ribs. Both were very tasty and the young man was very attentive. Came by every so often to check on us and make sure we were pleased with the service. They have indoor, outdoors and upstairs sitting. I can imagine on a weekend this place gets packed.

RUDE STAFF, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

By DeltaBrent |

RUDE STAFF, BAD MANAGEMENT, FALSE ADVERTISING I've been eating at this location since literally the day it opened. as I live next door and the food has always been good. The service, however, has gotten worse than ever. The staff are generally your average friendly waiter as long as its a slow night and as long as there is no deviation from eactly what the menu says. And good luck getting the manager away from watching the game. I stopped in Monday night for a $5 burger, which are very good. On an LCD at the front, there was an advertisement for $6 drinks. So I ordered my burger to go and along with it requested the advertised $6 cocktail. The bar tender said there is not a special like that. To which I said I just saw it on the door, any night, She repeated and I suggested she go outside. First, how rude to contradict a customer so adamantly, especially when the issue at hand was so blatantly clear 10 feet away.. I could careless about the measly dollar off promo, this was a principle issue that was handled poorly. If the special is over, no worries, just be honest and say we haven't been able to change the sign but the first drink is at the old price. NOPE. At Hudson Grille, the manager stood completely focused on the game, in fact the entire time I waited he answered a few employees questions but didnt acknowledge one customer. The bartender made no apology either. In fact, she was quite spiteful. When she returned from speaking to the manager, she started the cocktail that I had asked about and as she was about to mix it, she said oh by the way my manager said that special was discontinued. I passed on having the drink because it had been 10 miniutes and I wanted it while I waited., She then questioned in a negative tone - "so you dont want this then, :" and then threw the drink out and walked of. ] Aftrer I go home and went to eat, the fries were but cold and dried out as if having been sitting out. The burned, which I had ordered medium, was burned to a crisp. i would like to believe this was an isolated occurrence but its not. The staff could care less because their managers could care less.

Good place to have drinks

By Badal Singh Malik |

It's a good place to have drinks, have spent a quality evening . Staff is polite and helping . The quantity of nachos was too much ...Lol...Overall experience is good ...

Great service

By kimrumz |

My daughter's rehearsal dinner was hosted here in a private upstairs room. They went out of their way to make it a personal experience and handled the party of 20 easily.

Fantastic Sports Bar!!

By NY89 |

We stopped for lunch and to watch college football. Good variety of items on the menu and the food was excellent. Save room for dessert, especially the cakes/cupcakes. Jerod did a great job as our server!

Great place to watch sports!

By derrekpulley |

Went to watch the Stanley Cup and NBA Playoffs. Plenty of TVs. Went on a friday night, they were busy, but not too bad. Had the wings and chili cheese tots, maybe the best I've ever had. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go here again.

Surprising find for lunch or drinks

By DianeAoki |

We just happened to stop here on our way to a Popeyes for lunch, and we're glad we did. The service was great, friendly waiter. The prices were very reasonable. There were a lot if food selections on the menu: salads, sandwiches, burgers, entrees. I had the daily special, a salmon BLT,which was good but too soggy for the bread. My friend said her chicken wings were the best she's had anywhere, the chicken tacos also had good reviews, and the Ty Cobb salad was "I've had better." We enjoyed looking at the drink menu, but since we were on break from a convention next door, we didn't partake.

Will try again...

By Tiece. |

The food was great. Large portions and it didn't take long to receive it once we order it. Our waitress was a little forgetful but it was a packed house so we kind of looked the other way a little on that...

Sports bar, Good food & 50 beers on tap

By CJIG106 |

Menu offers a broad variety of food items. We enjoyed all of our dishes including the appetizers: chili tater tots, and sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce (yes, marshmallow - peculiar but somewhat addicting). With 50 beers on tap, it's unfortunate that our server had no knowledge about beer (she told us this), so when she delivered our selections we each received the wrong beer including one colleague who received a pitcher of beer instead of a pint. Otherwise service was good and the food was good.

Good midtown sports bar

By thepiratedoc |

Good wings, good beer, huge screen TV, friendly staff. Is the local UNC hangout, if that makes a difference to you!

Great Bar

By Prettysmooth1 |

I've visited Hudson's Grille a few time. Great sporty atmosphere. Good food, always. The salmon was pleasantly good and flavorful. The service was a little slow, but the food made up for it.

It was ok but....

By Diane E |

Stopped in for dinner on the patio and it was just ok and here's why.. The positive: the beer was cold; our server and the hostess were both nice and polite The negative: we had to ask 3 times for lemon for our water and a dog bowl. The waiter never brought us the water bowl but luckily the manager stopped by to check on us. The food was average. The salmon was plain and lacked flavor and the poblano chicken was slightly better. It's a better place to watch sports and have a drink. It seems service training would also help. I love around the corner so I may give them another try.

Great atmosphere for watching college football

By pmngm |

Had a wonderful evening watching the games with my family. Plenty of televisions to watch the games. The drink and food selections are very good. Service was excellent for a busy Sat. night. Enjoyed the ultimate nachos with chicken.

Great place

By debbiecarcione |

The chicken with spinach and feta on the lite menu was fabulous. Mom loved her turkey panini too. Great service too!!! Gonna be in midtown tomorrow will probably be back. Yummy!!!!

Big flavor, nice meal

By Francisco S |

This a really nice place to go, have a beet and a really nuce burguer. They got some good beers that are served always ice cold. The place has some good music and it is really close to nice places near midtown.

Great place

By Allison R |

The teriyaki/ lemon pepper wings are to die for. My favorite are the sweet potato fries with marsh mellow dipping sauce. They also have reasonable drink prices too.

Excellent cuisine..!!! Very nice place to take a date...!!

By FLYBOYFREDDY |

The CHIPOTLE GRILLED TILAPIA Blackened tilapia, black beans, jasmine rice, crispy tostada, corn salsa, spicy ranch dressing..($13.95); was perfect; best dinner I have had in a long time..!! My date is vegan & she enjoyed the Veggie platter (4 sides). Nice spinach, carrots, potatoes, broccoli. Nice portions too. Great service, manager came by to visit & say HI. Excellent food, great Chef & kitchen staff. Highly recommend this sports grille & looking forward to returning, will try some other menus items.!!

Just average

By Jym F |

We didnt have anything great or bad. The nachos are a huge portion. Enough to feed two people. Service was good. Food was just ok. Parking sucks!

Good food, nice atmosphere

By kbkcm |

Nice waiter who was attentive-portions were good-lots of variety in the menu Lots of different beers to chose from Even a healthier menu section

Great drinks and $2 shorties!

By Kevin A |

Stopped in for a lunch while in Midtown. Great tuna salad and great drinks. You have to try the $2 shorties. Try the apple pie moonshine. Delicious. I will be back.

Good value staple food!

By toffeegirlie |

We found this place to be a dependable place to eat. We ordered wings and fries which tasted great . Our server was wonderful too and couldn't do enough for us (for service alone id give a 5!) however I felt bad for the hostess who was trying to eat her dinner when also still on front door cover - can she not have a proper break ?! I've given this an overall average rating. It does what it says on the tin!

Sports Bar Mid-afternoon lunch was good!

By scorpio5 |

Me and a couple of friends went here to eat and kill time during a big swim meet in Atlanta. Great sports bar thing, tons of TVs, Masters was going on in Augusta. We ordered, very attentive server. Started with the spinach dip, pretty standard fare, good and cheesy. I got the shrimp and grits, it was very good! Generous pour on the vino as well. One friend got a burger, great, and the chicken dippers, good (appy) I would return here, very convenient to our Hampton Inn Hotel. Also, just as an aside, a bunch of 20-ish folks came in and went to the adjacent area that would normally be open air and a very brief but catty fight broke out! FUN!!! The manager chick handled it very well! She was in charge! And went around apologizing. Honestly, it was just fine.

Convenient To Omni Hotel

By Karen L |

The menu has a great selection of food items and the food I had (Ty Cobb salad) was good, but I had asked for no blue cheese and it had blue cheese on it. My problem with this restaurant was that when we walked in and we’re the only two people waiting the staff would look right at us and ignore us. We finally just went outside and sat with some other people we knew. Once seated our server was great.

Awesome waiter

By KJStid |

Our waiter Reuben, was the best waiter we have ever had! He was very attentive, personable, fun and just exuded love and care. He made us feel like he loved serving us!! The drinks and appetizers that we ordered were delicious, especially the spinach dip. We will be back and hopefully Reuben can be our waiter!

Cool vibe & bar staff that actually pays attention.

By Sam |

This is a great place to post up and chill at on NFL Sunday. I had been searching for a place to go and when I walked in…I instantly knew I had found it. The crowd is very diverse and you just might see old friends, meet new ones or see NBA basketball players. The day I went Jaylen Rose was also watching the games. The crowd isn’t too noisy that you can’t hear the game but its loud enough that it still captures the sports bar feel. I had a really good cobb salad and boneless wings. The wings could have been more tasteful, but the drinks made up for it. There are outside patios downstairs/upstairs. I would recommend more bathrooms. There are only 4 stalls in the entire building and it’s a line to use the bathroom throughout the night.

Late afternoon lunch

By 4girls4us |

Stopped in for a late afternoon lunch. Place was still somewhat busy so we thought this was a good sign. Food and service was just ok. We left full but nothing special. I had the crab bisque which was delicious. The shrimp tacos were ok. My drink sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before we finally just went and got it ourselves. Not trying to be picky but when there are so many fabulous placed to eat we were left feeling a little ho hum about this place. It was clean and we didn't leave hungry.

Fun Place, but service is slow during games

By Traveling_Bs |

It was fun to stop in and watch all the televised games at once. Our server was excellent and super helpful. With restrictive dietary needs our server was great to help us find good menu items that fit our criteria. Good craft beer selection (for the South) there were over 30 taps. The wine list was quite good as well. Food quality was above average for a sports bar and quite plentiful portions.Yes, during the games when the place was busy service and food were slow, but we were just chillin' and watching football, so it wasn't a big deal.

Great service......food was lacking

By JordansofWeiss |

Grilled chicken buritto......the chicken was tough and very dry. They also do not serve marguaritas or dacquaries. Our waiter was excellent and told us about a place down the street that served great marguaritas.

Selected as special guest for a pep rally for the Atlanta Falcons before Super Bowl Sunday. Great environment and great food. Nice job by the restaurant hosting this event

Great place to watch multiple games.

By SCC1992 |

Hudson's Grille is conveniently located in Midtown Atlanta. The wings are very good, and the beer selection is above average. Televisions are located throughout the inside of the restaurant and on outside porch, so it is easy to watch several games at one time.

Not too impressed

By Smile1012013 |

We came here late just looking for a good but not top expensive place too eat. Atmosphere was fine. Waitress was nice. Georgia peach martini tasted like cough syrup. Our wings were not that good to us. We wont be back but give it a try if you want. Everyone is different.

ok, I guess

By gnd |

I went to the Midtown Hudson Grille on a Sunday afternoon to watch the Falcons game with my brother and his friends. For whatever reason, my gps couldn't find the place. They do offer valet parking thankfully(so I thought) because finding a parking spot in Midtown is not easy! The place was packed with TV screens all over the place showing different NFL games. Foodwise, it was ok. Nothing that I would call out of this world, but not bad either. I had a Makers Mark chicken sandwich-BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar, crispy onion bits. Actually pretty big sandwich for the price. Overall it was a decent experience, until I went to get my car. There was a line for pickup(no biggie). While I was waiting I over heard someone upset because they had been waiting a while for their car. Apparently they were having trouble locating it. Unfortunately, I had the same thing happen to me. It took a them awhile of running around, screaming to the other valet's, etc to find my car. I would have given a higher rating to the place if not for this incident.

Average Sports Bar with decent food

By wavcpa |

This is sports bar with a decent menu of American favorites and some more. Enjoyed my steak and two side dishes along with a nice imported beer.

Good food in a Sports Bar environment.

By Larry W |

Excellent staff, food was good. As expected in a downtown establishment like this, it was a tad pricey, but not outrageous by any means. We were able to go here to eat and walk back to our hotel.

Super Bowl Weekend

By MuffinandBunny |

If you want great service, ask for Amy! She will go to the ends of the earth to make you happy. We had a great time even with what seemed like a million other people. Great job hosting us!

Nice outside dining and large open bar area

By kimberly O |

We went to Hudson Grille prior to a Georgia Tech basketball game. We got there early and were able to get a table on the patio. The inside bar area was wide open and even though it was busy it never seemed over crowded. The menu was varied with many sandwich, salad and burger choices along side traditional pub style eats and is affordable. Food was good, would have been better if everything was hotter (our server was bogged down and things clearly sat in the window for awhile before the food was brought to the table). We would go back when in town for a game again.

Great place to watch sports

By rmgorey |

Enjoyed a brief visit prior to going to a ND-GT basketball game. Lots of space, TVs. Good atmosphere for sports watching.

Very Poor Service... And Skip Online Ordering On Weekends

By chgocutie |

Ordering online will not save you on the weekends. I placed a to-go order 45 minutes before arriving to give them plenty of time to prepare and package it up. Of course when we finally arrived it was not ready. There were 3 staff members at the front, one male and two females. Only one female put in the minimal effort to help us get our food. The other female was too busy laughing at everyone waiting, and the male was trying to control the flow outside. Either place your order 90 minutes ahead on the weekends, or better yet, strike this place from your list on the weekends. By the way, we were visiting from out of town - and going forward we'll take a pass.

Nacho Nacho

By SSI Traveler |

Ultimate nachos are the only way to go! They’re as good as good as good gets. Plenty of “Goop”, meat, cheese and sour cream. One order is plenty for 3 or 4. Sorry to say all of the other items are just average sports bar bites. TV’s everywhere, I’ve cold beer and friendly service.

A great option. Open Christmas

By nycmom22 |

This was walking distance from our hotel and offered the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. It was quite full indoor was more sports bar loud. We also were offered a choice f the regular menu or the holiday one. Quite nice of them two beverages, three light entrees fifty bucks before tip I would return. Larg portions. You could share. Monique wAs a lovely server.

It was OK

By Aj C |

Took a spin on trip advisor and landed here for the reviews of the sweet potatoes fried with marshmallow dipping sauce. We had the Spinach and quinoa veggie burger classic style. The burger was ok (texture and taste) it could have used a little seasoning though. The sweet potato fries were decent. The jalapeño cheese balls were really good, a must try (not too spicy at all). They have a variety of burgers but I’m a vegan so was not able to try a lot of other things. I would not come back for a second visit but if you have not tried them It is worth trying.

noisy, too many screens, good burgers

By Pepper |

We were there with a lot of people and eveyrone got burgers- they were good buns and the sliders were filled with a reasonable amount of meat. Its good for that type of experience. They do take your temperature when you come in and there is disinfectant at the front door. Single use bathrooms were clean .

NEVER PARK IN THE HUDSON GRILLE LOT - And the Food is Meh

By Rachael C |

Do NOT park in the lot behind Hudson Grille Midtown. The parking lot owner, Anthony/"Tony" is very unethical. He charged me $150 per month to park in the lot and then closed the lot mid-August 2025 to replace a grease trap near the entrance. He did not inform me he was going to be doing construction, did not pro-rate the $150 I'd paid for the month when the lot closed for the last half of the month, and TRAPPED MY CAR IN THE LOT FOR THREE DAYS. The construction began without warning parkers first and entirely blocked the entrance/exit. It began during a workday when I was parked in the lot and I came out from work to find my car completely blocked in and no construction workers anywhere to ask how to get my car out. It ended up being blocked in for three days and Anthony could not have cared less. He initially apologized and said he'd reimburse me for my expenses and would make sure I could get my car out ASAP, but he did not respond to subsequent texts or calls and did nothing to get my car out. DO NOT PARK HERE! As for the food - it's traditional American fare. It's not particularly good and the service is slow. I've eaten at the restaurant twice and haven't enjoyed either meal, although the prices were reasonable. Due to the slow service, I would not recommend eating here for lunch on a work day. And I would NEVER park in their lot again, even if they paid me!

Decent service, ok food, dreadfully behaved clients

By John W |

Can't say much more than good service, average food, horrible drunks, and no effort at control by establishment. Spend your money elsewhere. they don't maintain a decent environment, and the rest of the package is just alright.

I watched the Alabama game here with friends. This was my first visit so I fully expected the wings to be average. The wings were better than average and cooked well. The flavor was great also. The drink specials during the Alabama game were great too. The service was great even with the raucous of the game going on. I'd highly recommend!

Excellent service and a great draft beer menue

Four of us stopped in for a beer and snacks a little after 5pm on 6/12/2016. We had the best of the best service, especially from our waitress who was super! They have an excellent draft beer selection and a decent looking menu, however we only ordered an Ultimate Nachos w/chicken and Guac which was large and very tasty.

Great wings!

Ordered the wings and tried a couple of beer options. Wings were great, much better than Taco Mac's wings across the street. Friendly staff, and the manager came over to welcome us and thank us for coming. Will definitely return next time I'm in ATL.

Average at best

The food was delivered by Uber and had some missing. But what was delivered was not that tasty. The chips that went with the salsa tasted old. The taco was okay but I have had much better. And the grill cheese sandwich was not grilled the bread was like it was not toasted at all. I would hope it’s better dining inside the restaurant.

Game time

This place rocks. Looking to watch a game, grab some great food and have a few cheap, strong drinks? Look no further than Hudson Grille. This place has $5 drinks, great food and TV's at every angle with every sport event you can imagine. The staff is friendly and the sweet potatoe fries with marshmallow dipping sauce is a must try for sure. I eat here at least once a week.

OK food but very slow service

Went with a group of coworkers and had a decent time, but the service was way below par. We had 8 people at the table and we barely saw the waiter, he took a couple appetizer orders and did not come back until he was asking for main course orders. There were several that wanted to order appetizers, but were never given the chance. The food was good, but nothing outstanding given the competition in the area. Bad first experience, won't be back.

They have Schlitz

Wanted to find a place that had TV's to watch the NCAA tournament. I was surprised that the Georgia Tech area really didn't have a night life area that I could fine. However I was pointed in Hudson's direction. Nice big bar, lots of TV's good service and food was okay. Not many places you can go where they still serve Schlitz. Two negatives. It is loud. acoustics are not good. Second and most importantly, how can they only have a one seat, no urinal bathroom. The place easily holds 200 people and that is all they have. That is a big negative for me. Not sure that had anything to do with the food and drinks so I still rated it very good. But I would not go back because of the bathroom situation.
