Happy hour is from 3-6, $3 tacos and $5 draft beers. They have some great choices, and an entire separate vegan menu, which I ordered from. I had the gardein 'fish' tacos- they were excellent! My waitress was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a fun, festive atmosphere. Hussong's is definitely worth a visit.

We visited last year on our honeymoon and were staying back at Luxor again. Great service provided by Irvin and the folks there and their salsa is out of this world! Tehy also have Modelo Negra on draught! Keep up the good work guys!

Service is good. They have an ongoing Happy Hour that works for us / we enjoy. The food is decent, if not a bit unconventional Mexican (they have their own slants on some dishes), however portions are quite generous which means you get a decent amount of stuff for your money. The mariachi guys they have there are very talented & quite funny. We enjoy this place even as locals, which is saying something as going to the strip as a local is not something most of us do very much without real good reason.

Went for dinner during happy hour. Tacos had some good taste, cheese quesadilla a little on bland side. Didn’t enjoy the nacho chips as much as T&T, almost next door, but food was better. What I really noticed was the staff cleaning menus before put away and going extra mile to be clean. Didn’t drink here, was time for break. The fried corn was good.

This place is terrific. The food is good and reasonably priced for Las Vegas. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. We had eaten here one other time and enjoyed it so we decided to return. We were not disappointed. The manager on site the night we dined was a great guy!

Try the taco plate with three tacos and make sure you have at least one of the killer pork belly tacos! They are out of this world! They also have a great Happy Hour with $3 tacos and cheap beers. The Mariachis are not only very talented, they are hilarious!! Go ahead, make a request.... I betcha they can play it and I am sure you will laugh your butt off! Service is great too!

Went here with my family and let me tell you it was very disappointing. We had the chefs specials and I will say over priced and not worth it. I had the pig head tacos which were not that great. The meal was over priced for only 2 two tacos. To make a long story short I ended only having one taco and knew that something tasted off. And so I was right because I ended up having a stomach ache the rest of the night. My sister in law had the pork belly and that to did not tat that great and seemed like it was old meat. As for the drinks we had Micheladas and they were totally waters down. The only thing that was decent of my visit was the guacamole. Theses better places to go and cheaper then this one.

Vegan menu is very good. Caesar salad which I chose, is probably the best I’ve ever eaten! Welcoming and friendly, and very attentive, nothing too much trouble. Hubby had the stacked quesadillas, said they were divine. Definitely recommend this menu. Delish!

Very delicious! Highly recommend! Fernando was amazing! We had the tacos and margaritas he recommended and it was an amazing night!

Living in Tex Mex land I am surrounded by good Mexican food, Norteno and local so I wasn't expecting much. But I was wrong. The drinks are wildly diverse, the service was great, and my meal was a scrumptious blend of meat, homemade cheese blend and salsa with house made chips. They do Tex Mex well here.

We found this small cantina when we visited Vegas last year. They had an offer for all you can eat tacos and all you can drink margaritas. I’ve never forgotten how good the tacos are so we have come back for more! The offer isn’t on now but still reasonable in price in happy hour!

We ate at this restaurant for our first meal at the Mandalay Bay. The atmosphere of the place is nice and playful . The food was ok I had to send back my ceviche because it was too salty. I couldn't even swallow it. The waitress was nice about it and I ordered the guacamole instead and I was really good and fresh. I also order the fajitas and they were just ok. My friends got the Baja fish tacos and they loved their margaritas it is a must get. I love Sangria but they ran out of red wine and I had to get the white I was not happy about that and instead of it being in a wine glass it was served in a small like scotch glass. And it was 10 dollars. Was not satisfied.

Not worth it bad food I got tacos and nachos no flavor and I think rice is rice a roni from the box service was slow. My drink smelled like cheap tequila didn’t drink it. Please don’t waste money very expensive

Fun atmosphere, great reasonably priced food. Service was top notch. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend this place! One of our favorite places to eat in Vegas.

The atmosphere and service was superb! The Barbacoa was amazing to the palette! The place is very warm and welcoming. Our server, David, was AWESOME and Personably!

Mexican restaurant in Vegas! They start serving you hot nachos with sauce. The nachos are free and fresh out of the oven which makes them more appealing. The dishes are huge, so my suggestion (if you don’t eat that much) for a couple would be to lay off the nachos and ask for two dishes. If you did as me and my wife and could not resist the nachos, then ordering two dishes will make you eventually leave a lot of food in the plate. Another nice thing from the restaurant is that they have a mariachi band passing by tables and they also have happy hour drinks from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm!!!

Wait staff was very attentive. Big portions and variety. We sat near the entrance because we like people watching.

Delicious food. Go at happy hour from 3pm to 6pm and certain appetizers, food, and alcoholic beverages are at a deal. Great environment and great prices for the strip!

I’m not a fan of Mexican food so I stuck with the Baja burger. Service was excellent. Chips and salsa along with water quickly appeared before our seats were warmed up. Like I said I played it safe with the Baja Burger. I was huge with ham and egg on top of the burger. Very messy as the egg looked like “sunny side” up. Burger could have used some seasoning but the fries with cheese made up for a lack of taste. Wife had the enchiladas and it was satisfactory. We did wait about five minute after we asked for our bill. I thought that was too long of a time but I may be wrong. This place did not provide for a life changing experience but perhaps it will for you.

We could not have chosen a better place to have our welcome dinner. We had over 60 guest and everyone one amazing. From the mariachi to the wait staff everyone was so profesional. I would definitely have another event here. Thank you so much for making my family feel at home!

Stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant for happy hour in Mandalay Bay, which was quite a find! Our group of 5 was welcomed in and promptly served. Our server Lacey, had Margaritas & warm chips/cold salsa at our table within minutes of sitting down. Tacos, quesadillas, & Mexican corn were delicious & at a great price. Gracias!

The service was attentive, prompt, efficient, and friendly. There was eight of us and they kept up with our orders well. The happy hour prices were pretty decent for the area and the appetizers were very tasty. Good atmosphere as well. A very nice option for happy hour.

I was in Vegas for business. We didn't want to eat on the strip in an over priced restaurant. We pulled into this shopping area near our hotel and stumbled upon Hussong's. First appearences I was a little concerned. It is a small restaurant with the bar in the middle of it. Reminded me of the show Cheers. We were shown a table quickly. The waitress was friendly and helpful answering questions and giving recommendations. The food was authentic Mexican. We really enjoyed it. I would recommend stopping by for a margarita and chimichanga.

I love Mexican food! However I usually find at least one thing that doesn't meet my expectations at restaurants that serve South of the Border fare. At Hussongs the food, service & atmosphere exceeded my expectations. The salsa spicy & chips salty. A must for me. Great food offerings! Highly recommend the Chile relleno, carnitas fajitas & quesadilla, however, like many Mexican restaurants they are known for their margaritas serving many different blends. Not sure which one to order? No problem. Just order the sampler platter in order to sample several different options. You will not be disappointed. Muy bueno!

We thought we would do a little Mexican for our vacation dinner out and figured what sounds more Hispanic than Hussong’s? lol Well, the menu had some nice looking and sounding selections, but neither of us were impressed with our choices. I chose the Baja Fish Tacos and she chose the Carnitas Burrito. Our server, Danielle, was great and quite the hottie too though! Good service, average food.

Hussong’s Cantina is located on the second level of Mandalay Bay, above the main floor in a shopping area. It is a Mexican food restaurant/bar. They have an extensive menu of appetizers, mains, desserts and beverages. The portions are very large so it may be necessary to ask for a take away bag. They did have happy hour drink specials as well . The service was friendly, the food was delicious and quality has remained consistent with our prior visits. I enjoyed this restaurant and will go back again

On A girls trip Vaca and decided to stop in. Omg the house salsa needs to be bottled. The shrimp tacos and frozen margaritas were amazing. Our server Cynthia was soooooo great. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Vegas.

We called into Hussongs to grab a bite to eat... a great find, they offer 241 cocktails at happy hour and the food is fantastic. Generous size portions and the guacamole was great.

My wife and I were looking for a Mexican restaurant and found this near the Delano Hotel in the shops at Mandalay Bay. The food turned out to be very good, our waiter advised us on some great choices and the margarita certainly hit the spot. Nothing fancy here, but just what the doctor ordered.

Was looking for a nice change and surprise guacamole and we found it. A little walk but worth it. We will be back home of the original margaritas..

stopped in for a meal and drink prior to going to a play. Seating was quick as was the service. For our group of six we quickly had two baskets of chips and "hot" sauce, not too spicy, one sauce had a nice barbeque flavor to it. We all had the "original" Margarita was was just right. food came pretty quick and was devoured by everyone. The tacos were great, though unusual with pineapple bits, the enchiladas were excellent with tasty white chicken and the salads were large portions. Liked the refried beans. While the food came quick, the plates were not hot and the food cooled quickly. Definitely would recommend Husson's and definitely will revisit next trip.

A festive and colorful Mexican restaurant located in the walkway between Luxor and Mandalay Bay, it may very well have been magically transplanted from Cancun itself. The interior is a blizzard of pinatas, sombreos, ribbons, and banners. The vibe is like a backyard party. They even have a decent Mariachi band strolling about. The food is quite good. The nachos are served hot and gratis. The tacos are mouthwatering. A fun place in a sea of dining options.

Forgive me as I’m reviewing this restaurant 2 months later but I took my wife and in-laws here with my daughter for the first time. I loved this restaurant. The corn is so delicious that I am salivating just writing this review. Amazing food and well priced. Will always return.

Friendly wait staff, fun atmosphere, and great food at a reasonable price. I had the steak tacos and there were really tasty, you could tell they used fresh good ingredients. Nice variety on the menu but not too much so they aren't stretching themselves too much. Great basic Margarita from lime juice not overly sweetened. Definitely one of my favorite places in Vegas and with a lot to choose from, that says a lot.

Had dinner here and were surprised to see there was a three man mariachi band. They played modern songs with a comedic flare. As they went from table to table they played a song based on the personality at the table. There were three women eating and they played “All the Single Ladies.” We liked our food- it was fresh and hot. We both had chimichangas with different sauces on top. The margaritas are good and was a heavy pour with tequila. Definitely add this place to your dinner choices if you’re staying at Mandalay, Luxor or Delano.

From the service, to the food, to the décor this restaurant is everything you could want. We had the fajitas and they were excellent.

The bartender took very good care of us. The guacamole and taquitos were delicious. We also had several tacos which were all delicious.

Small, loud and mediocre food. Our waiter was nice. Nothing spectacular but filled the need for a meal. Would not return.

I am giving it a 3 star because wait staff was great and entertainment was amazing. Food sucked violently. I had some kind of shrimp pop corn on slaw. It was repulsive. The slaw' flavor tasted old. I could'nt take a second bite. Poor looking shrimp turned into pop corn were sad and tasteless yet fatty as possible. Ron had a chicken burrito, dry on the inside, soupy on the outside. I wanted to puke. We stuck around because they had an amazing live band! One of the singer's voice is a pure baritone, a rare gem. Our waitress Sarah was wonderful as well

Mario was the best server I’ve ever had. The drinks and food were off the charts. This is the GO TO PLACE for after climbing at red rocks. Happy hour is the way to go- $6 margs and amazing food. This place invented the margarita, you have to check it out.

The entire back of their menu is vegan, such a wonderful option. My husband and I enjoyed our meal. The service was outstanding, Manny was an attentive server and very pleasant. Highly recommend for a great meal.

Fantastic find inside the Mandalay Bay Resort! They have a wonderful page of vegan selections on their menu! We shared their classic Vegan guacamole, vegan fajitas (with vegan sour cream & Daiya Cheese) and their amazing vegan chocolate cake with a peanut butter frosting and sweet tomatillo sauce! Top this off with great service and you have a place that we will return to as often as we can!

Arrived on a Saturday night. Looking for something quick to take back to my room. Came across this very loud and partying place. I ordered the quesadilla and guacamole. They were both well priced and tasted great. While there, I saw numerous groups having a great time with the mariachi band. It looks like a fun place, with good foot and reasonable prices.

My group of four women ate and drank at the Cantina during a recent stay at the Mandalay Bay. We went on purpose during happy hour, 3 to 6 PM daily. We found an exceptional value. I had two drinks, a taco, and some pork sliders all for $16 total. I especially recommend the pork sliders. They were delicious! You do receive complimentary chips and two salsas with any order. This is a great place to kick start your evening. The atmosphere inside is fun and lively also.

We stop here every time when in town. This time has changed it for us. We were there when they opened so was super fast to be seated. Had the Huevos Ranchreros which was SO spicy I could not even eat it. I did ask if it was spicy and was told it was just salsa. Seriously too much fire. They did exchange it for me for a soup but my mouth was on fire and never tasted it. Also ordered the Mexican corn off the cob which was thick with a powdered spice on top just not how usually is served. Overloaded to say the least.(ruined the corn ).If that wasn't enough for us, we were sitting right by the desk where all the menus are. One of the girls who sat us was wiping down the menus with a wet towel to clean them. She left the station for a bit and the towel had fallen to the floor. When she got back she actually stepped on the towel, picked it up set it on the counter, then proceeded to wipe the menus off again. Sanitary? I don't think so. (I did mention it to the manager on duty) We normally enjoy the food here and the mariachi band when they are playing. After the dirty germ loaded floor towel incident and less than good entrees we wont be back. Go for the bar, beer and drinks can't get messed up too much lolol

Met a former colleague here for lunch along with our Florida friends. First time here for all of us. My wife had the sangria and the chili relleno and I had the carnitas enchiladas with a cheese sauce. The relleno was stuff with beans, cheese, potatoes and bits of steak. My wife had never had anything like and she said it was very good. Both my wife and I had rice and beans with our entree. Everything was very good and had great flavor and we would definitely come back again in the future. Our Florida friends would definitely come back again as well.

A great choice if you are vegan or vegetarian and your palate is craving Mexican. The portions are very generous and the prices are affordable. The food is delicious! What more do you want?

Went here for dinner and margaritas last night and they have the best Mariachi band ever! The lead singer is definitely going to be famous one day! He has this deep loud voice and they sing with all their heart! So fun! It stops people walking by and they come in to join the fun! Plus the food was good!

I have never been to a Cantina but this spot is how i imagined it! Lively, a little bit dingy, and great food! Our server was Julie and she was friendly, helpful and efficient My husband ordered the Margarita and he loved it! They serve two kinds of salsa with the chips. All of us loved the darker one. It was different than any salsa i had eaten before and it was excellent chimichanga: a very large portion and my son said the tortilla was crisp and flaky he loved it Mix and match tacos: my daughter in law ordered this and she said it was delicious and also flavorful Pork enchilada: my husband raved about this with every bite! He said it was so flavorful! Chicken fajita: this was also VERY flavorful. The chicken was also nice and tender. It was served with 4-5 toppings. I would definitely order again So YES we will return on our next trip to vegas. Great food!!

Best Mexican Food I've ever Had - Best Margarita around! I consider myself an american mexican food connoisseur... the chips were thick and crispy! Salsa options were amazing, I really wanted to try the guac but didnt because the salsa was sooo good. The margs are the best I've ever had.. whats the special ingredient? The main course was no exception for yumm-iness. Bonus, they can sing :D

After a day of sunshine in Luxor or Mandalay Bay if you want some fine Mexican before taking on the night at the tables then this is the place to be! Fine chicken tacos and refried beans! Attentive staff and there is also a happy hour.

Every time I am in Vegas I come here. The vegan menu has so many great options, the frozen margaritas are excellent and the chips come with fresh salsas. The serice is also great. Easy to get a table or go to the bar.

While on a business trip, my co-worker and I were starving after a long morning of travel and getting into our hotel. We chose to walk through the Mandalay Bay Mall attached to the Delano. We arrived just as they were opening at 11AM. The manager was very nice and once she had her opening duties complete, she sat us. The menu had a good variety of food choices. The restaurant has also won awards for "Best Margarita" if you enjoy them. I had chicken tacos with rice and beans. The food was good. I wasn't crazy about the rice as it seemed to have a tomato base. I would go back to this restaurant to try different things. I would also have to vote their basket of chips a "10". The tortilla chips were amazing!

The food in this mall restaurant (Mandalay Shoppes) is outstanding. My friends thought the service was equally good; I'm not so sure, but I did show up after they had ordered. It is not a place where great service is necessarily the draw. It is about good Mexican food, and this is it. The salsas, with plenty of cilantro in the medium version, to the beans, and the rice accompanying my two carnitas tacos were very good. The carnitas meat in the tacos was the best I have ever tasted; the flavor will stay with me for a long time. I always order carnitas for that slow roasted pork flavor, but what they do to it here must be magic. The other ingredients in the tacos also make the whole package delicious.

Great food, great service. Thanks Cesar R. I had three different tacos, the al pastor was my favorite, but all were great. Thanks!

I think I had mixed enchiladas. Very good; Tasty. Walked there for lunch from Harmon Drive. Good exercise.

My husband and I shared the shrimp tacos, with rice and beans, and great flavored lemonade. Service was friendly and quick. We had a late lunch and shared the entrée, which was a generous portion and also included wonderful chips and salsa that arrived to the table before the meal was served. The décor is super, too. It's a fun atmosphere and reasonably priced.

Husband and I stopped for lunch after walking the strip for miles. We grabbed two seats at the bar. Service was fast and we ordered the carne asada nachos. The portion size was huge and we split it. We also enjoyed two dos equis drafts. Location is in the shops and mandalay place. Dark salsa is amazing. It has a smoky taste.

A few weeks before our visit, I contacted Hussong’s with a couple questions by email, and the manager responded within a few hours (both times.) We were going to be celebrating my daughter’s birthday, and I wanted her to have something reminiscent of a birthday cake. I brought “light up” numbers (instead of candles) which I discreetly gave the manager when we entered. Hussong’s has an awesome chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. After our meal, the manager brought our pieces of cake with the glowing numbers. I was so happy that we were able to get a picture of our daughter with cake and glowing numbers to commemorate her birthday. Our waiter was very attentive. Our food was delicious. I also got a frozen margarita which hit the spot. This was part of the reason that we chose Hussong’s was because they have a vegan menu, in addition to their regular menu. Our daughter is vegetarian, and every one in a while she enjoys a good vegan meal. Thank you!!

Their prices were great compared with other bars their tacos were good. The classic margarita was amazing. I will go there again before I leave because the service and atmosphere was full of life.

We visited twice during our recent stay after going for happy hour. Drink & food prices were great compared to everywhere else we went. Jamie is a great bartender. The second time we went the drinks weren't nearly as good (we should have requested him). The smoky salsa is good as is the guacamole & espinaca. We would definitely go back the next time we are in town.

Called in for some really good margaritas and decided to try some nachos, think they were the best I’ve ever tried, a meal in itself

Hussongs offers a fabulous happy hour that features vegan food in addition to all the regular menu options. Their specials (tacos, tostados, etc) which include a protein choice offer vegan chicken, vegan beef or beans. No longer does a trip to Vegas exclude protein. Lots of margarita choices, great IPA on tap. Their regular menu also has lots of vegan choices with huge yummy portions. Friday night even included a Mariachi band at 6 pm. Located in the shops/mall connecting the Mandalay and the Luxor.

The service was prettt decent im giving a kinda bad review because the food was so so salty . I also asked for medium rare on my stake and got well done . I liked how they gave an overview and background of the restaurant when we sat us down, and our server was attentive

We like this place. The food is great and well priced considering its location. The place has a live mariachi band and they are loud. Some family members were a bit overwhelmed. If you like good food, sports TV's and loud mariachi bands, this is your place.

Bartender Amber introduced me to the pork belly tacos and margarita of the month. She is amazing. I think this is the best Mexican food in Las Vegasi

My wife and I stayed at Mandalay Bay and chose to eat at Hussong's. Staff wasn't friendly at all. The hostess had a poor attitude and acted like I was doing her a favor by eating there. She did check on us briefly and asked if we need anything. Our meal was horrible and wasn't worth the money. $17 for a burrito. no sides at all like beans or rice. The chips and salsa were not very good either. We will find another Mexican restaurant.

Our server David was very knowledgeable about the company and the menu. He gave us a brief but informative history of the company and offered us a few of his favorites off the menu. He was very attentive but not overly just the right amount. Food was appetizing and drinks were delicious. Portions were perfect!

We’ve been here a few times - good food, casual atmosphere, great service. Today we watched the early NFL games at the MGM Sports Book, then came here to watch the late games. Much to our surprise, it was happy hour (during all pro football games). We enjoyed a few bites for $5 each - potato skins, and a tostado and then $3 tacos. I also added the shrimp cerviche - very tasty. Don’t forget the $6 margaritas (I got a frozen one to-go too!). Thank you Amanda - attentive service at the bar!!!

Is Mexican food served here? NOPE!!! Rice tasted like it was cooked in a whole can of lard. My vegan tacos (described as fajita veggies with microgreens) looked so disgusting, they ladled unk type of sauce on top that you were unable to see any fajita veggies, there was no way I would could put it in my mouth.I sent it back immediately! AGH!! My daughter had barbacoa tacos. The shells were so thick! and the meat was mush that if they had given me a paper napkin I would have spit it out. My granddaughters grilled cheese was a very THICK piece of bread with what appeared to be mozzarella cheese, absolutely tasteless! The only nice thing I could say about what is served is the French fries were ok. The recommended pepino margarita (cucumber jalapeno with Tajin on the rim) and the servers are awesome. Do Not!!! go for the food!!!! They serve something but it isn't food!!!

We had a late dinner here and the food was really good. We both had the chicken tacos and margaritas. Can't wait for our next trip back!

We weren't too familiar with Mexican food. Waitress we had took time to explain different foods. We had a big basket of nachos and dips when arrived to the table; on the house. Good beer, margarita menu. Tacos were delicious especially beef and shrimp one. Good meal and we would go back again not firey hot food. Service was good. Not high end dining.

We called in to get dinner before the Carrot Top show. Really good food AND drink. Music as well! Friendly manager and staff.

We were in Las Vegas staying at Mandalay Bay for 4 days and we ate here or had drinks for 3 or the 4 days. The entire staff are OUTSTANDING. The food is so delightful and presented in a excellent way. All 6 of us enjoying coming here and eating or having a drink. If you are looking for a easy to find, excellent food and a fun staff this is the place to go for sure. Chad Jahn, the manager was so enjoyable to talk with. Thanks for a round of drinks for the people from Oregon. We be back again to see you. Thanks for the great times we had while we were in Las Vegas.

Always great food, I had the Beef & Chicken Tacos, and a couple of Marg's on the Rock. My friendly server "Amanda" was attentive & pleasant, a new addition to the staff originally from Hawaii. Lots of classic Mexican Variety on the Menu & good prices, my bill with drinks was around $40, located in the Shops of Mandalay Bay, the connecting mall from the Delano / Mandalay Bay to the Luxor Resort. I'm sure I'll be back again on my next Visit to Vegas.

Stopped by here twice while staying at the Luxor. First time only for beers but second time we stayed for supper. Had the soft tacos which came with rice and fried beans. Big tasty portions. Margaritas were one of the best we've had. Service was awesome!!! Highly recommend!

My favorite part of the meal was their "you have to ask for it" Habanero Salsa, but watch it as it can cauterize your tongue! Service was marginal. Our server left us asking for refills on soft drinks and beer mutliple times. The guacamole is really good, but the queso dip was pretty bland. My pork belly burrito was pretty darn good, but my wife didn't enjoy the Carne Asada tacos. It was fun place, and the TV's helped us enjoy UNC defeat Duke!

Made the mistake of dinning here after attending the Blue Man Group next door at the Luxor. Staff literally running to serve tables, the waitress didn't even come to a complete stop when sliding the appetizer dish onto our table. No plates provided to eat the appetizers off of either. A few minutes later a hurried waiter dumped dishes on the floor including a full cup of sour cream landed on the satin lining of my daughters fur coat. Manager came over to apologize, then made ZERO amends for the damage done. No offer to pay for it to be cleaned, --not even a modest adjustment to the check. No one gets to treat guests that bad and then pretend nothing happened. They were lucky we weren't drinking, --had it happened to one of the other loud liquored-up guests in the restaurant there's a good chance a fight would have broken out.

Came here for a late dinner with the kids after a Cirque du Soliel show (which was awesome, as always) and the experience was perfectly average. That is not a criticism. The food, for example, was great. Generous portions of well-made and tasty food. All 5 of us were pleased with the meals. We were encouraged to try their Margaritas (no premade mix - which is nasty - and instead all fresh squeezed lime juice - which is proper) and they were indeed excellent. It is difficult to find a proper Margarita in 'mexican' restaurants and Hussong's nails them. The place is expensive for what you get - but it's Vegas, so expect to spend a lot more than normal for everything. The service... ugh. They brought 4 of the 5 entrees out (relatively promptly) and then never brought the 5th. Nor did the server return to our table. I finally had to leave the table, wander the restaurant, find her and ask her please to bring it. It took so long that I am sure the kitchen needed to make it anew. Then, after dropping off the check, she disappeared again. I had to go find another employee and ask them to ring us up. During the earl, no one ever approached our table either. No water refills. No drink reorder opportunities. I am sure it was the management's fault (staffing) and not the server (who was likely overworked and covering for others) but regardless, it was a poor customer experience.

Can't go wrong with Hussong's if you are looking for some good food, Wewent at lunch time but service was still good. I am sure we will visit again.

Food was not good, margarita was way too strong. Waitress was great, only saving grace. Disappointing and way over priced.

My husband and I were killing time before a show and wanted to do a little shopping, and stumbled across Hussong’s. Mexican food sounded great, so we got a table. We were SO impressed by the quality of the food. This was more than just the traditional “Tex-mex” restaurant, serving up the same 5 dishes just prepared different ways. This was authentic (though there is still Tex-mex to be had), well prepared and thoughtfully-presented food. And our server was fantastic. I would go out of my way to eat here again.

I had dinner here on my first night in town for a conference. The salsa comes to the table with two salsa bowls, in two different heats I enjoyed the mild better than the hot. The chips had just a hint of salt so they where excellent compliment to the salsa. So I ordered the fajitas without peppers and they came out nice and hot and tasted very good, now the difference from any other fajitas I have ever had was that they had fried diced potatoes in with the fried onions, which was surprisingly very good. Very good meal but the service was a little slow, as I sat several minutes waiting refills on drink and water. I would recommend eating here but maybe not to early for dinner as there appeared to be only 1 waitress and 1 waiter while I was there so I think that maybe why they where so slow. Enjoy if you do go here.

Decided to drop in here for dinner before a show. They were having a happy hour which had 3$ tacos and some other cheaper appies. We each ordered 3 tacos and another dish. The tacos were pretty tasty but the sides were average. We ordered some soft drinks and the server asked if we wanted guacomole with our chips, which we ordered. The food was alright, there are better taco places on or near the strip but the value (for the vegas strip) was decent for the happy hour pricing.

I had the shrimp quesadilla and it is just awesome. The chips and salsa was really good. Great waitress and amazing service. I will definitely eat at this place again.

We went to this restaurant for the first time based on the reviews. We can't think of one reason to ever go back. The waitress was friendly but didn't listen to anything we said. She didn't seperate the check as we requested. She didn't ask anyone if they wanted drinks. We were charged for extra tortillas that we didn't order. Finally the food wasn't that good. We were grateful we didn't order additional items from the menu. There are better Mexican restaurants in Summerlin.

Love this place and they have vegan options. Food was great. Worth trying. Fast service and waiters were great.

Went here in Christmas Eve for dinner. Was looking for alternative to Mandalay Bay restaurants. Glad we ventured out. The service was excellent! The food was delicious. I had the tacos pastor while the rest of the family ordered fajitas, ceviche, tortilla soup and vegan chicken. Everyone said their plate was excellent. I would recommend it here. It was a little slow but the staff made it a great customer experience.

Margarita lovers, this one’s for you! Hussong’s at Mandalay Bay shakes up 10 different styles of margaritas, including their famously strong Original Margarita—a true game-changer. Pair it with their bold Baja-style Mexican cuisine, from flavorful street tacos to cheesy enchiladas, and you’re in for a treat. With a casual vibe, daily hours, and private dining for groups, it’s the perfect spot to sip, savor, and celebrate on the Strip!

Excellent service food everything would definitely return always fun good music severs are amazing

Really enjoyed the food here. Grilled corn appetizer was good, chicken enchiladas also good. Service was excellent.

The Caesar in Hussongs is the best vegan Caesar I have ever eaten, stat! The plate was huge I got a to go box. It was perfect post show. Felt very welcomed when we saw the extensive vegan menu. Thank you to our server who was lovely.

Out waiter/waitress was awesome! Not only excellent service, but food was out of this world! We ended up eating there 2 times! We had Mexican corn (shaved), chicken quesadillas, and of course margaritas!

Visited 3 times during our 7 day stay. Twice just for drinks, daytime happy hour good value, good margarita, and again for evening drinks. Also for evening dinner, tacos to share between two, with complimentary tortillas and two dips along with water. Staff very friendly on each visit and no complaints on the food! If nearby I would suggest a visit.

Had the combination plate and chips and salsa food was good there right before Christmas shopping to watch the raiders win. Casamigos repo only 12 dollars for the win. Michelada was solid and service was okay.

Really fun atmosphere, this was my 2nd time - we went here before a show. It was packed but we got right in and very much enjoyed the great chips (were just wanting a refill but didn't ever get one) The guacamole was yum yummy and original margaritas was very good !! Tacos were good too, but would try something different next time. Would've given this a 5 star if we had had a different server...not overly attentive or friendly...I know they were busy but the other server next to us was on it!! Friendly and seemed to give her tables great service with a smile!

A very good choice if you want Mexican. Hussong's is now one of my go to places in Vegas, especially if I want Mexican food. Very fresh chips and salsa, affordable prices, and a cool mariachi band. Glad we gave this place a try. My wife and I will be back, and highly recommend this place for dinner.

We have been going to Hussong's for at least 9 years & always make it a point to go back every visit to Las Vegas! We had the classic guacamole which was served w/ pork rinds (keto friendly version), and the shrimp, steak and carnitas fajitas. The steak was perfectly cooked. We especially love the roasted corn and potatoes in this dish. A pitcher of skinny margaritas made for a great time. 5 out of 5 stars all day long! See you next time!

Would highly recommend this restaurant for quick Mexican food and great margaritas. We had chicken enchiladas. Service was great.

Fun atmosphere great drinks and food. Definitely will return. Tip margarita are made fresh, except frozen....

My husband and I heard from other guests that the food was good at Hussong's. The service was fantastic, but the food was just average. I was a little disappointed, but my husband loved his burrito.

This restaurant is located between Mandalay Bay and the Luxor in the shopping area. It always is busy and looks like fun, so I stopped in for dinner one night this past week. I was immediately seated and my server was over within a minute or two to acknowledge me and get my drink order. Chips and salsa were dropped off right after that. I ordered a steak burrito and wasn't disappointed. It was a very good portion size and the flavor was awesome! It came with rice on the side plus all the usual toppings. I did take advantage of the half price happy hour house margarita which was really good. Service and food were excellent here even with how busy they were. If you are out in Vegas, be sure to stop in and try it! You won't be disappointed!

All the staff were so friendly!! I spoke with David, Julie at the bar, Cesar, and TWO managers Steve and Jaki!! The staff REALLY added to the atmosphere of the restaurant! PLUS THE ALL A SANG HAPPY BIRTHDAY AONG TO A TABLE!!! With Sparklers!! The food was amazing too! I had Carne Asada Fajitas and I couldn’t finish it all. They also served Chips and Two types of Salsa, and I got Ice Cream for Dessert! There’s a big Patio if you want to eat outside and the baseball game was on, and there were like four other TVs and one had Trivia! Definitely worth the visit- AND they said they have Two other locations, one in Mandalay Bay and One on St Rose and Maryland in Henderson!

The restaurant was clean, the staff friendly and the ambiance fine, but the food did not taste like authentic Mexican food. One in our group had the tostada salad, which had too little lettuce and to much of a spicy dressing. Another had fish taco, which were fine. The third had enchiladas, which were very bland. We ate there on a Tuesday night, so may be the top staff had the day off. Would give Hussong’s a 2 out of 5 rating.

Though it has the patent for margarita at the reception... at $13 this was a mediocre margarita. The food was not that great either. I took reservation still I was given the worst table in the restaurant. Very loud place you can’t have a conversation here.

The photo is the inside of a 19.00 chicken chimichanga. It consists of around 30% boiled chicken. And 70% of this overcooked rice and bean throw up. A gelatinous mass with no particular flavor or texture. It smells and tastes like it looks......terrible. we have really good Mexican restaurants back home so maybe im not used to this.. This stuff is barely palatable. It has this taste of oversalted, over cooked Asian pot luck stuffed into a barely fried burrito. The food my family ate was much better (quessadilla). Atmosphere is loud.....very loud.

The service was awful, the waitress was rude to me and my group. The food was grotesque. Undercooked and over salted and overly mushy

This was my 1st time trying this restaurant. I was not disappointed. It service was excellent and food was fantastic.. I ordered steak fajitas and they were delicious

Loved this place. the food was great and the server was excellent. It was located upstairs in the Shoppes at Mandalay Bay. Will def visit it again on next trip to LV

Delicious food and the best mojito ever! Guacamole made fresh and barmaid Amanda was so sweet! I had the pineapple Mojito was the best i ever had. Really good food at affordable prices.

Came here for late lunch. Sat at the bar for quicker service. The bartender/ server was soooooo nice! You have to try their fish tacos! To die for! The chicharrón w Guac?! Dead! So good! Going back to Vegas next weekend and I’ll def be back! Thanks for a great lunch!

Recently dined here before attending a show at the nearby House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay Resort. As usual with previous visits - everything was great! From the service, cuisine and location = AMAZING! We had the lovely Stephanie and she was very personable and provided great service. Definitely try the margaritas - whether you order on the rocks or frozen - you'll enjoy! A very convenient location at the Mandalay Place Shops - so when going to an event at Mandalay Bay or House of Blues - very convenient and easy access to MB or Luxor. Be sure to check it out and they also had a great mariachi band! FUN! FUN! FUN!

Visited for a quick dinner and we weren’t disappointed! Sadly we’d missed happy hour, but went in for their famous margarita anyway. We had a lot of margaritas on this trip and I’d say these were up there with the best! The restaurant itself is quirky, staff are great, engaging and chatty. We were treated to a mariachi band, who were brilliantly musical and funny at the same time , created quite the atmosphere. Good was great, endless nachos delivered to the table, the veggie tacos were deliciously fresh and just the right amount and as I find portions can often be too much. Refried beans were to die for. All in all, a Mexican treat, just as shame we didn’t have longer to soak it all up.

Fernando was amazing!! Food and drinks were even better. Love this place every time I come. The margaritas are top notch!

Hussongs has become a regular stop on each trip. Happy hour margaritas and snacks are great value and top notch quality. Service is always fantastic and even if you stop by for some drinks, you’ll get some free nachos to snack on. You can bill your room if staying at a MGM resort for some MLife credit.

Title says it all!! Jordan was our server...she was awesome and so was Jessica....and Andrew the Manager that day was all about the customer experience and making us happy. Highly recommend as food excellent, service amazing and overall general feel...well fun !!! Just fun!!

A little gem in Mandalay bay Hussongs Mexican resturant. Super service nachos still warm and grey dips. Mexican beer very cold Main course was beer battered shrimps very tasty and spicy. Well worth the visit.

Went to Hussongs for lunch and this place is great! Food is amazing but Brian was even better! So friendly and amazing service, I will definitely be back and I’m telling all my friends to come try it out!!

My experience was as a to go order. I was excited to see a vast array of vegan options - it is nearly impossible to find vegan Mexican food from my home area. The restaurant was busy but the front counter staff was prompt in taking my order. For what I was quoted time wise, it was slow to come out. What I ordered: Chimichanga with the Gardein Chick n’ Strips. The dish came with nothing else - while the portion was large, I couldn’t see the value of the price tag of $18.45 plus tax ($2.00 up charge to its meat option, based on menu). The chimichanga held up really well even though it took a bit of time to get back to our off strip resort. I loved the flavors and textures - it was hearty. Thank you for having a solid vegan menu. #happycowcertified #vegan

This place was awesome. $6 margaritas for happy hour 3-6 - try to find that anywhere (and they were GOOD!). Excellent happy hour menu if you're really bargain hunting. Family of four, three ordered from regular menu and I had 2 tacos from happy hr menu, $3 each. They were super yummy, not skimpy at all. Also splurged on some crazy Mexican tater tot nachos for $5 from happy hr menu, super yum and naughty! We ate here before Michael Jackson show in Mandalay Bay, perfect timing. Grab a drink to go and take it to show with you - way better price than buying one at the bar near the MJ show. Most excellent service. The location is a bit mall-like inside Mandalay Bay, but if you're deep enough in the restaurant you can't really tell. Definitely a great spot. I actually went back another day just to grab a margarita during happy hour to take back to our room! They're that good!

My wife and I vacationed in Vegas Sep 25-30 and we made it a point to re-visit Hussong's Cantina for dinner. We previously ate at Hussong's 5-years ago, which was fabulous; however, this trip, the food was not up to par. I ordered enchiladas and the stuffing was cold, as if it was not heated enough in the convection oven. I had it resent back and was served again with cold enchiladas. Indeed, I was disappointed. Perhaps, next time we need to go when the restaurant is not as busy.

When people ask me where to go for a decent meal in Vegas I say this place! One of the best Mexican spots in Vegas and margaritas that kick you off the chair :)

It was good service, fast and the food was good! We had appetizers and margaritas at happy hour which made us very Happy :)

Recently made a return visit to Hussong's as was attending a show at House of Blues at Mandalay Bay and this is a very convenient location. It was a Friday evening and the place was jamming! At the moment, they have a special chef, Katsuji Tanabe, from Season 12 of Top Chef. He has created some special dishes - and I def recommend checking them out! Amongst them we had the lump crab guacamole, filet fajitas with shishito peppers (YUM) and tempura red snapper with bitter mixed greens salad! All the dishes were so delish and go really well with their signature margaritas! They had a really cool 3 piece mariachi band playing everything from Journey to Neil Diamond! Chad the GM stopped by to check on things and is a really cool guy. Service, food, music = AWESOME - how can you go wrong? Stop on by & enjoy - you won't be disappointed!

We had such a fun time here. Get the huge romance cocktail to share! The food was good but not excellent but that may have just been my choice. Nice to see a big vegan menu. Loved the band!

The Barbacoa tacos were crazy good. We are also big fans of the salsa options. The same happy hour specials are from 3 pm to 6pm every day! The margaritas are good and on special for $6. You can get tacos for only $3 and I promise they’re worth it.

We popped in for a drink only and they let us sit at their dinner tables as there were 4 of us. A waiter immediately put fresh corn chips and salsa on out table. We then left and went to the restaurant where we has booked a table but the service was so bad that we left before we were even served and came back to Hussongs. We had more drinks, more chips and salsa and ordered food which came out promptly. It was all great and tastes fresh and delicious. Great service and just plain nice.

My wife and I stopped in this little Tex Mex gem for a late lunch and we are so glad that we did. We started off with their house margaritas on the rocks and they were awesome. They tasted good, strong, but not harsh, and they went down so easy! They served two different types of salsa with the chips; both were very good. They had a good selection of food and our server was great at describing the selection and answering any questions. We had the enchiladas and carne asada tacos...they were delicious. If you are on the south end of the strip, check this place out.

Ate here in August, nice little Mexican restaurant, food was very good, nice selection ice cold Mexican beer on tap, wife had very good strawberry lemonade cocktail, friendly bartender, price is little bit high but it's Vegas ! would return

We couldn't wait to return to Hussong's on this trip to Vegas. We love Mexican food and margaritas and this restaurant is top of our list for both in Vegas. In 4 days, we’ve been 3 times. I had fish tacos once and tostada salad once. Both were very good. Be careful of the salad though because the dressing is very spicy. Our friends had ranch dressing instead. The blackberry swirl margarita is not only good, it’s beautiful!

The chimichunga is incredible. They have an entire vegan menue. Just be warned, some alcoholic beverages have a milk base so always ask before ordering a cocktail. :) Staff are lovely and the mariachi band are very talented also.

I love Mexican I have eaten here but it's not my fav Mexican place in Vegas I have a few others ahead of this one.

We really enjoyed the place. Not huge but spacious enough not to crowded when packed. Food was good and no complaints in any entree we ordered in a party of ten. Service was great and will go back.

Great happy hour with food and drink options. A vast vegan menu with wonderful food! We had tacos, quesadillas and chimichonga. Everyone loved the food. The margaritas are good. Excellent chips and salsa!

I’m blown away by the shrimp tacos. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. Absolutely amazing. My husband got Al pastor and also barbacoa tacos and they were also delicious. My son got the appetizer Birria taco and it was super yummy. Loved it. Irma was our waitress and she was super nice. Yum!!!

Friendly efficient staff. Good food, great Margaritas. Fun atmosphere. Excellent selection of items to order and a extensive list of drinks

It was our first time coming here, and my husband, our kids and I really enjoyed it. The entire staff was amazing. Our waiter Mario was very nice and we had great service. Will definitely come back soon

We arrived early for our reservation and were immediately seated. Our server was friendly and was helpful in answering any questions we had. I got the house margarita and it was delicious (and they didn't skimp on the tequila). We both got burritos, and they were really good. Plenty of food for a reasonable price, especially on the strip. I'll definitely eat here again!

This place is about Gringo as it gets. Late dinner after watching The Boston Red Sox win the World Series @ Mandalay Bay. I will say Chips & Salsa were good. Cadillac Margarita was way too sweet, and minimal salt on the rim. My dinner partner ordered a Quesadilla, and she said it was fine, but my Shrimp Chimi, was not very good. I did not finish it. We sat at the bar, and service was good, as it should be when you have your server right in front of you. I would only return in a pinch

We stopped at Hussong’s on our way to Bruno Mars concert, I’m glad we did. There was 6 of us, 5 are vegans. They have a very nice selection of vegan food. I had the fajitas, full of flavor! Also had a vegan chimichanga, that was also very flavorful. The other three ordered the fish tacos (vegan). They were all very pleased. Micheladas were very good, nice sized, and fairly priced. Four from the table decided to share a pitcher of Margarita. It was tasty and strong. Can’t forget the mango habanero guacamole!! Fantastic! I’d go again and I recommend this place!

Omg this was so good! I read the reviews first and of course some people will find something to complain about, but I’m so glad I went. There is a temporary menu item- poblano chicken enchiladas that was to die for!! They need to make this a permanent menu option. I also had a regular margarita, which was good.

The food was average ! The salsa and chips were great, but the chocolate cake tasted like gingerbread with peanut butter frosting !

Service was very fast, food was good. Kind of quiet place on a busy pedestrian gallery. Guacamole was just awesome.

On our first night we decided to try it here as we were staying at the Luxor - service for excellent! So excited that they had our favourite Mexican beer Victoria. Our server got our beers right away along with complimentary taco chips with two different sauces - sooo good. The pazole soup was absolutely delicious - was expecting a bigger bowl but it was very good. We shared the basa tacos which did not disappoint- will definitely be back on our next visit to Vegas.

We went for dinner on our way to a show. We were very impressed and had a great dinner. We both got Chimichangas which were HUGE and delicious. Our server was very kind and attentive. We were impressed with the prices, especially in Vegas. Decor and vibe was lively and fun. We loved it and would definitely go back.

Went in for nachos probably only ate like five chips from it as there were super soggy and horrible they soak it in some sort of cheese sauce that makes the nachos smell horrible. When we complained they took a dollar off the bill, I paid 15 bucks for 5 chips because of this I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I went during happy hour and got three tacos for 3 bucks. I had a margarita and a piece of chocolate cake with peanut butter icing! Was all very good. I definitely return! Also the bill was only 22$ cool place!

We found this place via TA and as we were staying in Luxor decided to give it a go. Hussong's Cantina is located between Luxor and Mandalay Bay, more Luxor side (you have to go into the hotel to find it.) The staff were all very friendly and we didn't have to wait to be seated. The menu options are good with lots to choose from. I opted for pulled chicken enchiladas which were delicious. The portion sizes are very generous and the prices very reasonable. Overall we would definitely come back here next time we are in Vegas and would recommend if you like Mexican.

Many of the Mexican restaurants on the strip seem to have very mixed views. My husband and I went out of our way to stop by Hussong’s for the good reviews. We had a show we were going to see at Mandalay Bay so it worked out well. The restaurant was semi busy but the food arrived very quickly. I’d say less than 10 minutes from ordering. The tacos were good, the free tortilla chips were nice. The 3 star review comes from the fact that I had to wait 30 minutes from the time we finished eating to receive my bill. During this time many waiters were standing around doing nothing while a few couple appeared to be non stop moving?.. When we finally received the bill I was disappointed that they had charged me $14.00 for the “taco plate” instead of the $9.00 for the three as we were there for happy hour. A $5.00 difference for some rice and beans which I did not want or eat. I guess be specific if you want one of the specials.

We were here as a larger group. The waitresses were great! So, the service is certainly great. I had some tacos the were good. The corn that they say is good as a side was spicy, but not very good.

After a show at the House of Blues, we found this place and were greeted by Andy "Sheriff Woody" and had a great time. got a good table, got a good vibe from the entire place and the staff were right on time with everything. I had some Shrimp tacos and complemented them with a tasty cucumber beverage. Pricing was right on cue with what I expect for being in the Mandalay Bay, Andy even relaxed for a moment or two and chatted with us. Will be back to look for Sheriff Woody.

We had the chicken and shrimp fajita. The chicken was very tender and the shrimp were a chewable size. We had 3 different hot sauces and one was super hot. We didn't have time to try the margaritas, but they looked tasty.

I came running down the strip to this place late in the evening after the restaurant I had planned to go to had a 2 hour wait. They seated me at the bar, the bartender immediately had my drink, chips, and salsa ready to go. He made some recommendations and I had my food 15 minutes later. The bartender was friendly, kept my drink full, and didn't rush me even though they were getting ready to close and I had a soft drink. The food was great, I got the vegan fish tacos. Never had that before but I would order it again in a heart beat. They had a lot of vegan/vegetarian options and a lot more variety than you typically see at a Mexican restaurant. Can't wait to come back.

Hussong's Cantina is a good Dining Option on the south end of the Strip. The mexican food is good, the margerita pitcher is outstanding.

This place is a MUST stop while in Las Vegas. We have been three times this year, and each time is just as good. Everything on the menu is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and it's all around a great time. It can get laud, but I think that just adds to the experience. The guacamole is a must have at your table too!! Highly recommended!! Can't wait to go back already.

Prices are high and the food is not really up to the task of being convincingly Mexican. Was o.k. for a snack but would not chose it for a second visit. Life music made it impossible to communicate.

"Home of the Original Margarita." Mine was made by bartender Tommy, and it was yummy for sure. We really enjoyed talking to her. We went back a couple days later for happy hour, where we could get half-price margaritas and draft beer, and we had dinner, which was pretty good but kind of expensive (but isn't everything in Las Vegas?). If we are ever in Las Vegas again, we will definitely go back there.

Brother and I walked by this place and thought we'd give it a try. Regretting that decision. Wasn't all that busy, so we were seated right away. Received chips and salsa upon seating which was really nice. Past that, a dinner to forget. Waitress barely stopped by and seemed uninterested, our food took at least 45 minutes to arrive, and when it did, the meal was cold. My stomach turns just thinking about the tacos. Extremely disappointing and won't be back. Looks like I'll have to find another spot for good Mexican food on our next trip.

The margaritas were very good. The service was friendly. Atmosphere was meh - sort of a vegas sports bar trying to be mexico. The fish tacos had maybe 1/2 ounce of fish and lots of cabbage to cover it up. At $20 for 2 smallish tacos, I would expect better.

This place was very boring in our opinion. Tried the ceviche $16 and chicken fajitas $17 and both were less than average. We have found so many great Mexican restaurants in town and unfortunately this is our one and only visit. Cute interior is a positive.

If you're staying at the Mandalay (or even if you're not!) and don't want to spend a fortune in one of their restaurants, take the escalator upstairs to the shops for this fantastic Mexican place. Great service and food. Highly recommend!

The restaurant appeared busy but there were tables towards the back. The decor is very busy with piñatas hanging from the ceiling. The array of Margaritas were amazing and I would have liked to try more!!!! The food was only average or at least the dishes we ordered were!

They closed the Hussongs in Reno downtown but I found this one...Yay. Love the food and the drinks in this place.

Andrea was wonderful! Super attentive and food was great! Margaritas were delicious!! I would definitely recommend!!
Cute atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic service
This was our first time at Hussong's and I am ready to go back. But next time I will try the Margaritas. They had a nice lunch menu on top of the regular menu. The atmosphere was fun and I enjoyed sitting outside. I got enchiladas which they were willing to make dairy free for me. They did have a nice Vegan selection, but I am half and half. It is nice to know they take care of dietary issues. My husband picked from the lunch menu where you choose 2 different items. His food was also great and a large portion for lunch. The staff were fantastic, they were there for refills and to see if you needed anything. Our food came fast and was hot and delicious. We will definitely be going back.
