I will not write about things that they sell because that's their job to sell cheap but artistic furniture, housewares and food. I want to share my experience (customer service) instead. Many people were there to do Christmas shopping, but Ikea only opened up 4-5 register. There were people waiting at the each register, but they did not open one or two more for people who are only getting few items (no furniture..). Maybe it was just the day when I visited, but I really didn't understand. In addition, the cashiers were talking to each other, and I thought she was talking to me. Sometimes, I really don't like employee talking to each other while taking care of customers. After checking all of items out, I had my 1 dollar soft ice cream and left the place. Well, I am happy to get what I want but NOT happy when cashier doing other stuff when they working. If you want to talk, just talk to me. Even though I don't care about your story, it's better then talking to another register and laughing together..

Where else can you get a full American breakfast with eggs, 2 sausage links, hash browns, and crepes for two bucks? You can even get your coffee for free before their official operating hours? If you are a registered IKEA member on their database, you can get a free cup of hot coffee at anytime. There’s no fee to become a registered IKEA member. When you are done stuffing yourself, you’ll need a long walk in their store to burn off all your excess stored energy.

We visited the Ikea store on Columbus Avenue recently. Most people know they have a reasonably priced restaurant. Since they are again serving food post pandemic, it’s worth writing up. There are changes. They still offer their signature Swedish meatball meal at $5.99. They have a plant based version too, at the same price as I recall. Curiously, the plant based version has more calories. We had the traditional version. As usual, it was fine. They have a pulled pork sandwich at $4.99. Curiously, it’s served with macaroni and cheese as a side dish. We didn’t have that. As we approached the register, we discovered they don’t have coffee at the moment. No fountain drinks either. They do have dabs and bottles of soft drinks. The food is fine. It’s great for grabbing a bite while shopping.they have plenty of other selections too. It’s cafeteria style. When we are at Ikea, we often stop for lunch. It makes sense.

Spend spend shopping for our new place lots to do lots to buy follwed by a nice meal Money spent lots of stuff bought foood and drinks required

Cheap and serviceable, just like the Chinese put togethers. Kids meals are a deal and endless coffee isn't too bad. Portions a little small but price is good. Haven't seen the new cafeteria.

I spent at Ikea Restaurant severaltime. Great economic lunch, comfortable table and majestic view. Free Wi-fi... absolutely lovely.

I enjoy visiting IKEA and the restaurant staff shows the same kind of helpful, cordial service that we experienced while buying kitchen cabinets! The food is tasty! Try the Swedish meatball meal with mashed potatoes and gravy! Superb!

We love the prices and the breakfast here. You get a huge amount of food, our little ones share a breakfast it is so big!

We were going to Ikea in Philadelphia to buy some things for the house and decided to get there early and have breakfast. Breakfast of scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage was $1 and coffee was free to Ikea family members. Was this the best breakfast I ever had? Not really. Was this the best $1 eggs and sausage breakfast I ever had, I'd say yes. In a way the breakfast was free, since the coffee cost a $1 and change. Service was fast, the restaurant was very clean and the staff were great.

IKEA really has everything you could possibly want or need. somethings require some assembly but, once you take the time to do so the results will speak for themselves.

Like all IKEA's, the restaurant has many items all day long the are filling, tasty, and most off all-inexpensive! Worth having your wife drag you all over the store:) [PS-sign up for their Family program and you get free coffee/tea and other special deals] AND, you have a ringside seat of the SS United States moored across the street. Fifty years later, she still holds the record for the fastest passenger liner in the world. A shame that the group is struggling to save it from the scrap heap.

This place has great food for anyone. Ingredients are frsh and the taste is there. I would choose this palce over panera anyday

It is always fun to shop in IKEA and no greater convenience than to eat in the store. Most meals are $ 3-4 . Lunch with 4 meatballs, dinner with 8. I do not like that they put BBQ sauce on smoked salmon. How non-Swedish!

Menu choices are very good but the food was over cooked and had been sitting on a steam table for too long. The salmon filet with hollandaise sauce and mixed vegetables was nearly inedible.

If you’re shopping for home furnishings and need a break, head to the IKEA Swedish Restaurant for a quick, affordable, and surprisingly delicious meal! Whether you’re looking for a bite to refuel or a tasty treat to cap off your shopping trip, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. On my visit, I had the Swedish Meatballs served with mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam – classic, comforting, and absolutely delicious! And for something a little different, I tried the Garlic Lemon Cod, which was served with sustainably-sourced lemon garlic cod, salsa, and rice. It was light, flavorful, and perfect for the price. You really can’t beat the value! The service was quick and friendly, making it an easy choice for anyone in need of a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. From meatballs to sweet treats, there’s something for everyone, and it’s all served up with a warm smile. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, don’t miss out on the IKEA Swedish Restaurant experience. Trust me, it’s way better than you might expect

I plan to drive back to New Haven for more- so good and vegan and cruelty free. THANKS, Ikea, for making this vegan, not just vegetarian!

Ikea is a large store yet easy to get around. The items they carry are great and the displays let you see exactly how rooms can be laid out and give you terrific ideas on how to set things up. The fun part is going through their "marketplace" with all of the fun and innovative things you can use your home (housewares, etc.). The prices are super reasonable. Lots of check-out lines are always open. The worst part, perhaps is the parking lot which is so crowded.

Went to IKEA for some shopping, you really don't realize how much time passes in there. Anyway, decided to have lunch in the cafe - it was FANTASTIC. Reasonably priced, loads of selection and it was delicious too.

Ikea never disappoints as you can shop with your family and obtain breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the same building with ease. Of course it's cafeteria food but Swedish style, which I like, and low prices, which I love. Ikea has household furnishings in trendy and classic styles at reasonable prices.

This review refers to the Conshohocken IKEA, not the one downtown, although the menu is the same. I plan my trips to IKEA a few times a year not only to buy furniture, but to enjoy the European feel and eat the food. The last time I went there, IKEA had a special offer-eat for free and deduct your restaurant receipt total (no limit) from any home furnishing purchase over $100!! I bought a table for 100$ and spent 30$ on a meal. IKEA will repeat the special on March 9, and of course, I will be buying chairs to go with my table and I will be dining at the restaurant. Everything is cheap and delicious, from soups to sandwiches, Swedish meatballs, mac and cheese, cakes, to salads, juices, and seafood. The restaurant and the store are kid-friendly. Become a member of IKEA, get a card a get a free cup of coffee. Additionally, on March 9, you can get a free blue bag and $5 off your Swedish food market purchase over 25$. The frozen section of the store is great. Try some of the cakes, the frozen pancakes, and other goodies. Delicious! Pick up a few recipe cards. I already tried some of the recipes at home.

I was there today shopping and was hungry for their food! Is a great cafeteria but wish they would put more amount of food on your place for the price.

The food at Ikea isn't particularly awesome, but it's really cheap (seriously - some days they're practically giving food away). It's a good place to take the kids because you don't have to worry about messing anything up. Make sure to join Ikea Family as they'll give you free refillable coffee in the cafe with a card (it's a free program too).

It's fast food at a store's restaurant, you cant really set your standards high. The food is of poor quality, the desserts however are pretty good, the chocolate cake is creamy and better than expected.

Very good quality and portion size. Love the meat balls. Love lingonberry sauce. Free coffee. What's not to like.

It was aswesome experience to shop in Ikea in PHL. and the Customer support people are very friendly and helpful.

Every time I make the trip to IKEA I plan to eat at their cafeteria, after all, I don't get to eat Swedish Meatballs in many restaurants. South Philadelphia IKEA is my favorite shopping venue (we have two in the Philadelphia area). Parking is so easy and there are so many parking places (other than on holidays of course). When seated near the window I can watch my car and enjoy the view of the Worlds fastest ship, although in disrepair. The store is not over crowded and neither is the cafeteria. Once you belong to the IKEA Family, your unlimited coffee is most reasonably priced. The food is fresh - one even can have gravlax, a Scandinavian delicacy. On my way out, after looking at their displays and shopping, I usually pick up a frozen family pack of Swedish meatballs with everything included, and frozen little arctic shrimp that are sooo delicious in salads. It is so easy to get to IKEA and so close to I 95 - and always worth a visit

I love this store, I just bought new house this year earlier, we got our beds, cabinet and closet from here.

Great place to shop. Go on a weekday evening if possible to avoid crowds. Always a fun find at Ikea!

I had Meatballs and Ribs which were very good. Even the fries were great! Only 2 things I had an issue with. The chicken in my sons meal tasted funky and bad.And the soda fountain has to much air in it and soda gets all over your hand and glass. Pricing is great and dinning room has a great view of USS America

Great place to find furniture for out Toddler's room at an unbelievable price. We are so happy with the quality and she loved shopping in the kids area.

Restaurant doesn't come to mind when you think about Ikea. However, years ago they figured out people shop longer if you feed them. We had lunch at the Ikea in South Philadelphia on Saturday. It's large, clean and the serving staff are friendly. The Swedish meatball platter with vegetables, mashed potatoes and lingonberry sauce is a standard. I think it runs about $5 and change. They encourage you to join as an Ikea family members by offering shopping and food perks. Free coffee is one of them. They are proud the coffee is responsibly sourced. Is the food any good? The meatballs are a standard. Sometimes they are dry, but usually they are moist. On this occasion the vegetable selection was quite good. It included cauliflower and crunchy bean sprouts. The meatballs can be ordered as the standard (beef/pork), chicken or vegetarian. Is it fine dining? No. However, it's good food in a clean place that is very reasonably priced.

Same setup as every other IKEA. Kids like the play area and it gives the adults time to shop around. Central location relatively easy on and off Rt 95

I can charge my electric hybrid outside, drop my 3 year old off at the play land, go to the cafeteria and enjoy my meal (inc a free latte/cappacino/coffee with my IKEA family card) in peace, then go get my son and supervise his meal. He loves it there too bc he can watch tv while eating and then go play in the kids section. There are invariably other parents there with the same idea and our kids play like they are on a play date. It's adorable and helpful and appreciated to have all this in one spot. I especially love the salmon meal followed by chocolate cake. Price is awesome as well. Also, if I need something from IKEA I'm already there.

IKEA has always been a great place to grab a delicious and cheap meal but the holy land of the Swedish meatball has not been abundantly friendly until now. For about $6 I got a plate of 10 vegan meatballs, steamed veggies, a side salad, and a delicious lingonberry drink. It was a really tasty meal I couldn't come close to finishing that I could grab quickly and get on to the business of shopping for things I don't need but now can't live without.

It's a fun place to take the kids for a cheap meal. Not gourmet by any means! But atmosphere is fun and our kids like it!

What a horrible shopping experience. Slow moving employees, long lines and irate customers make for a really unpleasant experience. The only positive that I can say is that they have a great warranty on their mattresses.

Great meatballs. 599 for 15 meatballs and mashed potatoes gravy and lingonberry sauce. Love it. The food is pretty tasty. You bus your own trays there but that's not a big deal. Free refills on sodas. Then you go shopping for furniture.

The meatballs are Ikea staples. And now they have chicken meatballs & veggie balls. Other dishes are equally pleasant. But the atmosphere is not. Not too clean tables and chairs, floors are littered. At times, coffee is cold. Good they have microwaves. The restrooms definitely need some attention.

As a swede myself I felt very comfortable at IKEA. They offer exactly the same food at the restaurant as they do back home in Sweden, I was extremely impressed! The food was really good and it took my back home to my home country for a brief moment. Really worth visiting!

I love Ikea. They sell the neatest things that are beautiful to look at and are great for saving space and organizing. All of the staff that I have interacted with have been overly helpful and kind.

I had a free day while traveling for work so I decided to come to IKEA. About halfway through the store, I decided to grab something to eat. First of all, I love that they have food right in their store. Every store needs to catch on and do that. Jennifer was very polite and I loved chatting with her. Definitely another great IKEA day. :)
Love this place
We stopped in while killing time before our flight. Got some storage accessories. Love this place I can spend too much time here. Great prices and style!
