For me, a meal in IKEA is a way of checking the average cost of meals in a City. So, visiting Atlanta, I went to have breakfast there. Prices were cool: value for money. It was a sumptuous breakfast for a for a fraction of the price of a previous meal I had from one of the fast food chains. Potatoes, bacon, sausages and a sunny omelette. Nice meal. *Being an IKEA family member meant the Coffee was free with the meal.

Great food for the money considering that it's in a department store. The wraps looked pretty good but I went with the Swedish meatballs which were mediocre.

After a long and tiring shopping at IKEA having lunch there was a refreshing The tomato soup with corn bread was just what the doctor ordered for tired foot Got the main course the meat balls were awesome and a slice of the chocolate cake finished a sumptuous meal

I love this Ikea restaurant ! Whenever we visit Ikea we also make sure to eat at the restaurant ! It's value for many and you have done good choices for small eats and coffee / Tea/ soft drinks which can be refilled ! Recommend a visit to Ikea and it's restaurant whenever anyone is in Atlanta GA !

The food was very bland and the meatballs with gravy left much to be desired. I don't know what else to say except save your money.

The IKEA restaurant, inside the store is a must-stop when shopping there. The signature Swedish meatball dish is tasty and inexpensive at about $5. They also offer a number of other Swedish dishes and wonderful deserts.

I was hungry and I decided to have lunch on Ikea. I will never forget. Never, ever in my life I would get back. Even hot dog wasn´t good (can you believe?)

Although limited menu options, everything was delicious. Very reasonably priced, fine food. Large seating capacity, fair drink selection.

The two of us had lunch at the Atlanta, Georgia, IKEA Restaurant. It was lunchtime, but only one side of the restaurant was stocked with hot and cold food. The coffee dispensers were empty, as were the half and half dispensers. We requested the manager and told her there was neither coffee nor creamer. She answered, "I can do only one thing at a time." Too bad she had done absolutely nothing up to that time. The food was okay.

A Swedish tradition and always hits the spot a must try when at IKEA. The cafeteria I IKEA is a great place to stop so many great dishes to choose from try the salmon or one of the deserts.

I've eaten at the IKEA restaurant many times. The food is always pretty good. You can experiment with Swedish dishes, with little risk as the prices are great. My favorite are the Swedish Meatballs with mashed potatoes and gravy. Breakfast is quite good as well. The American breakfast for $.99 can't be beat and the Swedish American breakfast is very good! If you're shopping you might as well time your trip to enjoy some good food as well.

I like that place not only because of reasonable food price, also environment. Its quiet, clean, bright and open space. The staffs are good and gentle foods are so fresh.

I tried this place because people had raved about it. I didn't find it to be all that great. Swedish meatballs and sauce were bland.

I have been to the Atlanta many times but had never had food at the in-store restaurant. On a November Saturday morning, my wife and I arrived before the store opened for shopping but the restaurant was open - we decided to give it a try. The first thing I observed was how clean the restaurant is - always a good sign. Second, I noticed the incredibly low prices for the various breakfast selections hanging from banners - I was suspicious at first - could the food be any good at all if it is this affordable???? A quick glance of the crowd already seated and eating indicated people seem to be very happy so I ordered the Swedish pancakes with a side of Swedish lingonberry and a side of biscuits - WOW WOW WOW I gotta' give it to IKEA - the Swedish pancakes with the lingonberry are just brilliantly amazing - seriously The biscuits are also great - as good as any I have ever had at a Southern restaurant... My advice if you are going to go to IKEA - go early and have breakfast - you will love it

Nice Swedish meatballs. Not to die for but good. Cafeteria style setting. Decent mashed potatoes and potato cakes with broccoli. Paul Newman bagged salad dressings. Prices a a buck to high for what they are offering for plate specials, but who really cares. Basic swede cafeteria style food, but good and filling. Not sure where one can get Swedish meatballs elsewhere around Atl, but have not really looked either.

I was honestly shocked the first time I came to Atlanta and walked inside Ikea. It was MASSIVE and had all kinds of great, cheap furniture. I was even more surprised when I found out there was a cafeteria style restaurant inside here. Not expecting good food at all, I got in line and ordered the ribs and fries while my wife got the meatballs. I have to say, everything was really good! I mean, considering it's a restaurant inside of a furniture store. Sometimes we come here just to eat inside Ikea. A typical meal for two will run you about $20-25 so not terrible either. The food is much better than expected, not excellent fine dining by any stretch of the imagination, but worth going for!

Admittedly, this is cafeteria food... but it's delicious, quick, and cheap. Even when I don't want to roam the IKEA labyrinth for 3 hours, I like to swing by for lunch and grab a quick meal.

IKEA has so many different items that are inexpensive. You can find kitchen towels, plates, serving bowls to furniture to plants. They have many unexpected items and the price cannot be beat.

I do not go here often, but I usually really enjoy it when I do. Enjoyable Scandinavian food that is equivalent to fast food over there. It is served cafeteria-style without a ton of choices. In the past, they've done a really good job. In this most recent visit, the food was still pretty good, but it was only lukewarm. Not sure why because the place was overflowing with people. It was so packed that the drink station had turned into a glacier mountain due to the excess ice on the return tray. Staff was polite but stressed. Given that the food was not the appropriate temperature and the chaos and the claustrophobic feel, my rating is pretty forgiving and generous.

When we visit Atlanta we sometime go to Ikea to shop and we eat lunch when we are there at the right time. Gourmet dinning it is not but its good and the prices are great. This last visit they only had one of the cafeteria lines open so there were long lines forming at lunch. We didn't want to wait so we went to the soup and salad bar. We had vegetable soup and a green salad on one tray and a fruit salad on the other and a glass of water. It cost $5 and change. Now where could you eat for that. The soup and salads were very good. Great prices and acceptable food.

For the money. There is no better. Don't get the fountain soda's however. It tasted like TAB. If you are over 50 you know what TAB is.

i've been to many ikea restraurants and this one by far is the largest i've been to. the people are very nice but the lines can get long but its worth it!

We stopped in for a late lunch when we had a small purchase to make at IKEA. My order (which is all I have ever ordered here) was Swedish meatballs with rice as a side. My wife also ordered the Swedish meatballs, but substituted mixed vegetables for her side. She also ordered a small salad. All was enjoyed. The lingonberry sauce and gravy make the meatballs much more enjoyable. Signage into the dining area cou,d be improved - but we did find it. Where to enter, and how to proceed, was not clear. That may be more easily understood when there are other customers.

I recently took the family to Ikea and we had dinner in the cafeteria. We eat there a couple of times per year on average, usually when we are also planning to shop in the store. On this visit, and on the last couple of visits, I have noticed a bit of a "cost-out" in the cafeteria, The prices are still very low, but quality has suffered a bit. The vegetables aren't as fresh looking or tasting, the brand name soft drinks have been replaced with generic ones (though I like the fruit flavored sparkling waters!), and some of the menu items I have enjoyed over the years seem to be missing. However, the food was good and worth the money, the bottomless drinks are only $1, and the kids meals are cheap. The chicken wrap I had was pretty tasty, and we enjoy the desserts. No complaints really...it just used to be better a few years ago than it is now, but it is still a pretty good value and very convenient when shopping at Ikea to have a quick lunch or dinner.

I love the IKEA Restaurant. My kids do, too. When you walk into IKEA, go ahead and sign up for the IKEA FAMILY MEMBERSHIP at the kiosks when you first walk in (on the right) Once you have this membership, you can now get FREE coffee (lattes, cappuccinos, regular, decaf, etc) and tea (hot or cold). Yay! Sometimes you can also get your meals for FREE if you spend a minimum amount in the store. Just keep your receipt. We like the chicken fingers with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Delish! As you leave the store, you can also get wonderful cinnamon rolls, pizza, hot dogs, and ice cream super-duper cheap!

Great service from everyone today. Delicious food! The swedish meatball plate was fantastic and the ribs were amazing too! There was a lot of organic which was great!!! Highly recommend!

The restaurant was great. The line was long. There were only two ladies working but the line was moving real quick.

The kids love dining at ikea mainly for the desserts. I had the Meatballs today and while they were actually pretty tasty they were cold. I'd imagine if they were hot they would be delicious. Prices are more than reasonable and the dining area is clean.

This is my first visit to an IKEA and I have to say I’m impressed. Now as far as the store checkout that’s another thing. The layout of the checkout area is confusing because well I wanted some coffee to take home too. I ended up walking out without buying anything because there I only had 3 items worth maybe $15 with tax.

YUM! First time to the IKEA store and restaurant. Had to try the $4.99 Swedish meatball meal. 8 meatballs, gravy, mashed potatoes, lingonberry sauce, and a pile of delicious perfectly prepared mixed vegetables, which surprisingly, included yellow carrots as well as orange ones, cauliflower, broccoli, etc...Soooo good! There were all sorts of other intriguing entrees, sandwiches, salads and desserts, but we HAD to try this simple luscious meal!

The IKEA Restaurant offers great value for the money. Perfect for families. This is help yourself counter service. Grab a tray, pick what you want and pay. While selection is limited, there's a nice variety of dishes all reasonably priced. I had the Swedish meatball special. While the dish was filling, the meatballs themselves were just average. I like eating at this restaurant when I'm shopping here. The lines can be long at peak hours, so keep that in mind. Recommended.

I had a veggie ball and couscous chili dinner for under $5, great price and tasted pretty good. Hardly any lines on a Sunday night, gave me the fuel I needed to shop. For the price it's way better than fast food.

I love shopping at Ikea because of the restaurants. They have the best meatballs and the prices are reasonable. They also have the best desserts.

Ikea is always a cornucopia of delight, and the cafeteria is icing on the cake. You can get a tasty meal at a reasonable price; what is more, their food is unlike that of other restaurants. It's not a fast-food burger joint, but serves up a unique menu of comfort food.

I love ikea... And i just ate there, food is affordable and good...And if course look around!! cause theres always new things at the showroom

Not too busy, we had Swedish meatballs and I had stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Ikeaaaaa is always my fav shops. We have been to multiple locations of ikea in NJ and the Atlanta IKEA looks and feels the same . Only issue is - it’s in the city / downtown. So there is always traffic when going to this ikea. I wish they built this in some suburbs… Parking is good. Lots of space. As always , the dining/bedroom/ living room furnitures are good and easy to pick. I also love the lighting/ marketplace / kitchen / paintings etc .not too expensive and very good products. We got a foyer table this time .. customer service could be better . There is no one around to help.. Food was Average. It was cheap but the taste wasn’t that good. Cake was goood though. It was OK overall. Furniture pickup was outside the shop. We had no idea , and had to bring our car outside to pick our foyer table. Service was slow. Took them 15-25 mins to deliver our products. Overall - it was an average experience.. we

It's fast food in a very big warehouse store. This weekend everyone in Atlanta must have been here, 2/15/2015 Sunday. Lines were way to long. Food was what you would expect. Bathrooms were a real mess, no paper, trash all over the place, toilets seats wet, standing room only. Go here to shop and get out as fast as you can, don't bring your kids.

OK, IKEA is best known for the furniture, but don't overlook their cafe. They are best known for the meatballs. Many of the selections were influenced with Swedish flavors. And the price is family friendly.

These things are really to die for. I feel like I could eat them all day. Maybe one day I'll get the chance.......yum is the best word to describe it.

During a recent shopping excursion to IKEA, I ordered the veggie meatballs and can judge them flavorful. The dish included mashed potatoes and a choice of veggie. The salad with walnuts, blueberries and blue cheese is a must. The menu is limited, but the prices are fair and the in-store location is priceless in the middle of a lengthy shopping trip.

I love the salmon, dill and salad plate....ok, with a side of fries, and some delicious dessert (to share). My kids love the meatballs and mac and cheese and chicken.... But what I love most is it being FREE with the purchase of $100 or more in home furnishings. Um, can anyone go into IKEA and NOT spend $100 with ease? It's a smart brand....covered parking, free child care while you shop, compact goods, smart items AND they feed you so you have the energy to cover the massive space and see it all. What's not to love?

We usually get something at the restaurant when we visit IKEA. It's a massive place and shopping can take awhile so it's great that there is this option. I usually try some of the Swedish foods or drinks that I have never had before. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. The food is priced well. Children's meals are only $2.50. We once went unknowingly on free food day. It's a lot more crowded but you can eat up to $100 of food for free provided you spend that much in the store. We had a good time grabbing a ton of food.

I recommend IKEA's cafeteria because it is something different, it is healthy and a good value. The Swedish meatballs taste a little different from meatballs I usually have - they do taste good. I think certain items, like their desserts, taste great and just have less sugar in them than their American counterparts, and are therefore a little healthier. The prices are great. I also like the fact that there is a little Swedish "grocery store" in the building. My wife did not like their Diet Cola, but I thought it was very good. I did not like that only three out of four Diet Cola dispensers worked, but I only needed one functional dispenser :-) As an Electric Vehicle driver, I like the fact that they have EV chargers. It is a shame to see that most of those parking spaces were occupied by non-EV's and that these charges look in pretty bad shape. Just saying that if the chargers were free, like some are around Atlanta, I would probably come here much more frequently. I like this place a lot.

I had the salmon and added meatballs just to try them, my fiancé had mashed potatoes and meatballs and it was all great for when you’re there shopping.

Take it for what it is, a restaurant inside of a retail establishment. It's nothing to write home about but if you are looking for a bite to eat and you're shopping here it isn't horrible. Not five star either but remember where you are.

High-quality products at great prices. We have bought a number of items from beds, to dressers to picture frames. Staff is always friendly to help, if you can find them on the floor. Exchanges are easy and fast. The food they serve is amazing as well.

Was shopping around and stopped to grab some lunch. I got Vegetable Balls. They typically come with tomato-spinach ragout, ancient grains and seasonal vegetables but instead of ragout, they had mashed potatoes that day, which was slightly disappointing but I really enjoyed pairing my mashed potatoes with the seasonal vegetables. I was so thrilled to find such a quality vegetarian meal inside of Ikea!!! like what??? I was full at the end of my meal and delighted no animals were harmed in the production of my great meal. And it didn't break the bank to get it either!!!! I think it was in-between $5-7 so not bad at all for a good plate of food. Also I was so excited they use actual silverware, glass cups or mugs, ceramic plates and reusable trays. I think the only trash produced was the packet of salad dressing my mom used and the napkins we used. I was so thrilled.

We shop at least twice a year at IKEA and always enjoy a snack of swedish meatballs as a family before we get started. Friendly people, really good food and a nice place to relax before the shopping really begins!

While this is not my first time visiting this location this is my first dinning here. I went with the tradition swedish meatballs. The price fair and the portions were very European sized. So if your expecting a typical American sized plate you might want to go further down the road to Denny's. The meatballs were like warm but the sauce was very tasty. One point to mention was there was NO broccoli to be found amongst my vegetables as advertised. Mostly it was carrots. The mashed potatoes we're very delightful as well as the sweet berry sauce. I added corn bread to my meal and this was m action I wish I could take back. Cornbread in the south is usually dry and crumbly. Here it taste more like a yellow cake and not something your Swedish grandmother would prepare. Skip it I say. As for overall I would skip the upstairs and just grab a slice of pie from downstairs. At least downstairs has a better selection to drink and the most important part, forks. No forks upstairs which is surprising since this company sells forks.

when in the food department and you need excellent customer service, just ask for Stephanie Davis....She will get all that you need and with a smile. Adrienne

We planned on shopping at Ikea, and decided to have lunch there as well. There are a good number of options. It was a very busy place on a Saturday afternoon. The only hold up was the checkout line. The food was good and hot. Portions were a good size. We'll do it again.

I’ve been to ikea several times and finally tried the restaurant out since I was visiting around lunch. I was surprisingly impressed! The restaurant area is spacious with lots of seating options in a relaxed atmosphere with window views. It is cafeteria style where you order hot plates / entrees from a glass counter and pick out other cold items or soups as self serve then pay once you have picked out what you want. I’m not usually big on meatballs but these were tasty and filling and I ate almost all of them. The entree includes green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. The potatoes were great. I also tried the almond cake - very tasty! I would definitely go back.

We went on a Sunday afternoon. Typical weekend crowd. The employees in the cafeteria were very nice. The desserts were actually really good. The chicken fingers were rubbery and the barbecue chicken wrap was gross because it was cold and flavorless. The meatballs and veggies were good - that would be my pick if I go back. French fries were crispy and salty. We spent about $45 for 4 entrees, 4 desserts, and 3 waters. It’s a cafeteria place with a limited selection. The prices arent like the typical ikea deals. It works in a pinch.

Got to Ikea around lunch time. I ordered the special as always a deal. The salmon was very tasty. the vegtables were overcooked and tasteless. The dessert looked better then it tasted but was good. A filling lunch for under $9.

I love their coffee and desserts! I do get the Swedish meatballs and enjoy them, but not a huge fan of their salads and some other sides. All in all though for cafeteria style their food is pretty good.

Thought I'd try the chicken meatballs instead of the Swedish ones. Who knew you could disguise a White Castle/Krystal slider as a little chicken meatball? Ugh. I kept re-tasting that lunch the rest of the day. Mixed vegetables of the day had turned into a gray, tasteless scoop of mush. But, hey, their Cole slaw was decent, so they've got that going for them.

The IKEA breakfast was good and very low priced ! The quantity and quality is also superb. There was a long line though and one has to wait in the queue.

Everything you need for breakfast at the cheapest prices in town. Great option if doing early shopping

I always loved IKEA from the 1st visit and purchase at their beautiful location in Orlando. But on my last ATL store visit, they were out of everything we wanted to purchase and had driven 20-30 minutes to find this out. A very kind woman who worked there placed an order for the one item we couldn't find a substitute for while there, a mirror. There was some confusion at the register but, according to my CHASE ACCOUNT, I paid: Oct 30, 2019 IKEA ATLANTA Home $5.47 See details about this transaction Oct 30, 2019 IKEA ATLANTA Home $90.34 See details about this transaction We had picked up a $25 discounted chair, a $50 desk, and a mirror at $13 was supposed to arrive at my home yesterday. The delivery fee was waived for ALL my inconveniences. And, according to the delivery tracking info, my order arrived yesterday. Yet, when I called IKEA's 888 phone number and talked to a customer service rep and manager, they told me I could address my issues at Ikea, meaning another 20-30 min. drive each way or pay online and order the mirror and pay for it a second time. PS: I asked each person I spoke to on the phone several times if there was anything they could do besides apologize for MY inconvenience and make me do everything to correct this myself, and they had nothing to offer.

Always incredibly clean, and seems to follow all standards in preparation and presentation that we've seen at other IKEA Restaurants. Say what you will about pre-packaged food...you can't beat those meatballs. jam.

We eat here for the meatballs and lingonberry sauce. Other than those the food is average and nothing to come out of your way for. The prices are EXCEPTIONAL however.

IKEA is an amazing place to shop and get great ideas and storage solutions at a bargain price and the restaurant is the perfect 1/2 way stop for us. We love to do the top floor of rooms and ideas then eat at least a slice of the heavenly tarta mork chokland which is a heavenly almond and dark chocolate tart/pie. Kids meals are only $2.99 and the traditional meatballs and mash potatoes are so good.

Ikea is still a destination for me--I come from far away to shop there. And I still find the restaurant a bit exotic what with its Scandinavian offerings. The smoked salmon never disappoints. What's more, whenever I enjoy it I have the sense that I'm being both a self-indulgent gourmand and virtuous healthy eater all at once. And it's not that expensive, either--so I can be a self-indulgent, virtuous tight-wad.

This restaurant is inside the IKEA Furniture Store. It's a great place to grab a bite (and rest) while you are shopping the store. The chicken tenders were hot and good. The restaurant is set up in a cafeteria style with a self serve beverage area. You also bus your own table but there are stations set up to put your tray.

When coming to shop at Ikea, this is a very convenient to get some good food as well. Swedish meatballs, of course. Vegetables, mashed potatoes, cakes and pies, salads, soup, breakfast, soft drinks and coffee.

My wife and I took our youngest son to eat here on a recent shopping trip to Ikea. My mother-in-law was with us. The three adults and a one year old ate for less than $27.00. Not only that, they are SUPER family friendly. The restaurant sells baby food, Apple sauce, and they have a bottle warmer. In the parking garage, there is special up front extra wide parking for families with small children. The Swedes have it figured out!

We got the chicken tenders and French fries. The smoked salmon looks good; maybe next time! The service was great! I would recommend this to anyone.

Best Swedish meatballs and a very good value for a meal. Pleasant dining experience. Restaurant uses store products and furnishings. Special area for kids and families.

My kids approved of their foods which is highly rare! My boy said the chicken fingers is the bestest! I thoroughly enjoyed the cheesecake. Thank you for making our dinner an easy and inexpensive experience!

My first time to IKEA with friends. I had chicken tenders because I wanted fries and I have not had tenders so darn good! My friends always get Swedish meatballs which I will get next time because everyone raves about those as well. Lunch with drink and tax was about $8.50 and worth it IMO.

Much has changed in the IKEA Atlanta restaurant from the time I moved down here in 2005. Gone are the days when the restaurant had two food lines going and several cashiers working at the same time. Gone also are the brand name drinks, now replaced with generic ones. Yes, the food is still a good value, but the quality isn't quite what it use to be. One of the biggest changes is in service and upkeep of the restaurant. On a recent visit, there was only one fork available and no place to put a tray after finishing my meal. I suspect part of the problem is not enough staff. Which means you have to wait longer in line to pay, while your food gets cold. I remember the days when I enjoyed eating in this restaurant, but not any more. Needs major improvement.

Always seem to be a busy place. Probably because the food is consistently very good for the prices. Along with the dining area, there are what to seem to be hundreds of interesting and inexpensive furniture displays. And, it takes at least an hour to wander (and wonder) your way out. While there today I won a 75% discount on any article. I bought a $600 Futon for $150 and got another discount of 25%. Excellent buy, good food, outstanding day.

All of the food was just sort of average. The service was decent especially considering how busy they were. They advertise that their drinks now contain half the sugar that they contained in the past, but they I found them to still be overly sweet. I cannot imagine what they tasted like before. The ice cream was also overly sweet.

The food is really good. I got ribs! Great shopping and to get to eat while there is a plus! Clean and staff is friendly. Will be back.

Great store loved the layout and prices really good. Very clean organized. Displays were excellent. Lots to see. Really enjoyed myself

A great place to shop but also to eat...try the meatballs and the desserts. Don't forget to buy some cinnamon rolls to take home

Hot dogs were not as good as previous visits and the pizza was cold. The bread with the dogs tasted old and flakey. The pizza tasted worse than sauce and cheese on crackers ,not there norm. We came back later for yogurt cones and they were great ,they helped cut the heat while walking thru the parking garage. We did not try the restaurant upstairs because it was overwhelmed with many people because it was a Saturday I guess. The serve yourself service was great Idea to make line go faster , but I think it affects the freshness of the food.

Besides their great food, they also offer free coffee/tea to members, which was a nice treat! While there, be sure to follow the walkway and check out lots of good deals on furniture, bedding, anything needed to furnish a home! We couldn't resist making several purchases before leaving. Oh, and on your way out, if you're still hungry, they have great hotdogs, etc. We couldn't resist that either...snacks for the trip home!

Actually spent my 18th wedding anniversary here having chicken meatballs for dinner. I thought it was great. Mash potatoes are pretty good and the cranberry sauce not half bad. Shopping and dinner, a good evening in my book.

This will never be a top 100 restaurant in Atlanta but for convenience and price it's great. The sweetish meatballs and mashed potatoes are great. And it's only 4.99. Shop and grab a quick bite to eat. Will return again and again.

I've eaten here a few times. The food is usually pretty decent (never great), but I recommend avoiding it in the early morning or late night. I went in around 8pm a few days ago and was served food that clearly should have been switched out for fresh stuff an hour before. The meatballs were getting crunchy. Stick to the peak times, if you really want to eat here.

Perfectly positioned to give you a break half way through the store. I was delighted to find that the food was actually good. They offered real meals and a good variety.

The food was absolutely delicious. Something for everyone including the health conscious. Best of all very affordable for great quality food.

For a quick bite to Ikea. Great food cheap. Unfortunately they were out of water to drink. Otherwise everything else was fine.

I really enjoy coming to Ikea shopping, the best I enjoy walking and after a long walk and shopping the food is the best, maybe because I am from Europe I enjoy the food so much

Who knew that you could get wonderful food at a reasonable price in home store. Just go for the food even if you don't look through the store, but we did both,

I loved the Meatballs and Mashed Potatoes with gravy. The staff was very friendly and nice. I enjoy this dish every time I visit Ikea.

I was very skeptical about eating at a furniture store while shopping. I went over and ordered a BBQ chicken wrap with fries and meatballs with blueberry cheesecake. I must say I was Suprised that the food actually tasted good. I would eat there again if I was shopping there. The prices are far better than I thought. You can get a chicken fingers and fries kids meal for $2.99 the chicken fingers are pretty big. Try it if your out there shopping and need a little something to hold you over.

Usually the food is good here but today was a joke. The line was at least 50 people deep and only one side was open. They finally opened the second side but there was no desserts or wraps. Once you got your food you had to wait 10 minutes to pay and it got cold. They were all out of forks, the condiment area was really dirty and the ice machines were broke. They had a bucket of ice with two scoops in it. People were scooping ice and then putting the scoop back into the ice bucket which is really not sanitary. Once we finished out cold chicken fingers and soggy meatballs there was no where to put the trays. All the tray stations were full and no one was around to empty them. The sitting area was really dirty and tables a mess. At least the ice cream downstairs was good but that area was messy as well.

The food here is really just average, but at a good price. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here, but if you are going to IKEA then it is a good deal. And my kiddos love it.

My mother and I decided to eat before we shopped, and I'm glad we did. Large plate of food filled us up, so walking around afterwards was great! Restaurant area and was busy as usual, but well-stocked. The two people we interacted with on the food service line we're not overly friendly, but just doing their job. I got the turkey meatballs, taste was good for a quick lunch. Nothing extravagant by any means, but would definitely order again! We were able to use our receipt and get our food cost taken off because we spent a certain amount in the store, so that's handy!

When in Atlanta we stop at the Ikea store. It's a several hour visit. The folks who laid out this store thought of everything. Enter and find childcare. Shop awhile and in the middle of the store maze is a restaurant and restrooms. The food is always good, the restrooms always clean. They even provide diapers. The second half of store puts you out at the warehouse and checkout areas. An additional food area is located here. Excellent meatballs. The cinnamon buns are delicious! Exchanges are made easily. Love Ikea.

Shopped today and got treats at the stand. The restaurant was closed for remodeling. Shopping was awesome, but the place was packed. Not sure if it was the holiday, or that it has rained for days and people had cabin fever. If you need to decorate a small apartment, this is the place for you.

I found the meatballs over rated and tired. The place was very crowded and it took forever for them to bring out flatwear to the point our food was cold. I will eat before going to Ikea again. The garlic bread was good even cold.

The thing that most impressed me about Ikea's cafe was not so much the food, which was fine (the Almond pie was top notch), but it was the VALUE. Ikea is a HUGE facility, and they therefore have a captive audience. However they didn't use that fact to rake your wallet over the coals...the food items and drinks were EXTREMELY low cost. A very pleasant surprise. I don't mean to imply that the food was not good. I enjoyed what I had (we spent over 8 hours in the store, and therefore ate a few times). The main courses were fairly good, but the desserts were above average. The chocolate cake was moist and delicious, and the Almond Pie was superb.

While the Swedish Meatball dinner is not gourmet, it is well worth the $5.99 they charge. The restaurant was very busy on Sunday but there is enough tables for everyone. The restaurant is a welcome break from walking around the IKEA store.

I was worried as I'd read mixed experiences at the IKEA restaurant. We tried it and thought it was great! The portions were big, the food was very good (we both had the meatballs!), and the price was a good value for what we got. TIP: if you're even remotely considering eating at the restaurant, do it when you're on that floor. We got all the way to the checkout lines before we decided to eat there- fighting against the one-way traffic back upstairs was EXHAUSTING!

We ate here on family day and it was free if you spent approx $100 in the store. We had the Swedish meatballs plate. It was really great and hit the spot.

Our first trip to Ikea and it was past dinner time, so we were happy to see the restaurant with the buffet...and if you joined the Ikea club, it saved about $4 off the price. They had salmon cooked several ways, limited sides, and a variety of desserts. Not an intimate setting by any means, but very convenient when you shop there around mealtime.
LOVE eating here!
Love the meatballs and the mashed potatoes are amazing! Love the sparkling juices in the fountain dispenser. Such a great option in place of the usual pepsi/coke products.
