Not as impressive as I thought it would be. Pleasant atmosphere, very pleasant and attentive staff, but the food was just OK, not very impressed, I have had much better food for a much more reasonable price. The Marsala was bland , chicken overdone, Salmon overcooked. Would recommend finding an Olive Garden instead, not impressed.

We visited as staying in NYNY hotel Service was excellent Food was excellent and portion size just right for UK guests Wine could have been a little bit more chilled and not bucket to keep it cold. Overall a good meal

Hubby and I ended up here by chance, it was absolutely delicious, we shared a pizza and pasta AND they serve Peroni which is always a bonus! Waitress was really nice and we had front row seats to the fun times being had at Nine Fine Irishmen pub - really good night - thanks!

We stopped in for an early dinner before a show. We had never tried Il Fornaio before, but love Italian ford and we weren’t disappointed. I had the Pennoni alla Vodka which was absolutely perfect and my companion had the Bruschetta al Pomodoro appetizer which she loved. There are two seating areas - inside, which is a bit calmer and more intimate and the “outside” patio which is next to the casino area and provides a somewhat more festive atmosphere. Prices are expensive, but not outrageous.. plan on spending around $60-75 per person depending on if you get wine, etc.

We booked a table for dinner on our 35th Anniversary, it definitely exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and prompt in their service the food was excellent. All in all an extremely memorable addition to a very important day for us. Highly recommended for a visit.

Prompt courteous service. Delicious food. No bread on table- on menu for additional cost. If it was a true New York restaurant bread would be free! Enjoyed our dinner and would recommend.

High quality food at this restaurant and service provided by Rosalba our server was exceptional. A lovely restaurant with a nice ambience. A little on the expensive side for wine.

The food is very good but a bait and switch scheme left a bad taste in our mouths. We were lured in with a Price Fixe menu but when we asked to see it, we were told they weren’t using it. It was New Years Eve at 8:00, there were 12 of us, we wouldn’t have been able to get another reservation. They totally took advantage of us. Next time, we won’t stay at NY NY, there are plenty other hotels with more trustworthy staff

Fabulous meal. Price is average for this type of restaurant. Waiter was great as well as service. Great location for people watching as you eat.

Maybe i'm just spoiled from our trip to Italy. US Italian restaurants don't impress me. Overall this place was better than average but not worthy of a five star review. It was disappointing how the cheese garnish/topping was pre-grated and not done at table side. Our large party had the normal wait for our first round of drinks but definitely nothing over concerning. We all waited for one person in our party to receive his meal while our hot meals sat in front of us but it didn't ruin the experience. I had the sea bass and would recommend. My husband had the lasagna but would like to try something else before ordering it again. Overall nothing mind blowing but good food and good customer service.

We visited here for dinner one evening, quite late, but the restaurant was still pretty busy. We liked the fact that you could be seated either indoors, or “outdoors” on the busy NY style streets. There were 5 of us, and the menu provided enough choice for all. We opted for a variety of pasta and chicken dishes, all were really good – with particular shout out to the Rigatoni ala Vodka which was spectacular. The dishes were on the smaller side considering we were in America, this was only compounded by the fact that no bread was provided at the start of the meal – which is mostly a standard in America, so this was unusual and disappointing. Overall, we were very happy with our visit and would recommend – but would suggest portion size and/or bread should be considered

Very good food although it can be pricey. Excellent pizza for about $23 and my wife loved her pasta. Service was excellent. Inside NY NY Casino and Resort.

We had a wonderful dinner at Il Fornaio on February 14th, celebrating both our anniversary and my birthday! Despite arriving late for our 7 PM reservation—closer to 7:45—the staff was incredibly accommodating and still found us a table for two, even with the long line. For our meal, we ordered the calamari, linguini, and the seafood grill, paired with some excellent wine. Everything was delicious, but the grilled seafood truly stood out—the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked! The staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for both food and wine. Their hospitality made our special evening even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommend Il Fornaio for a fantastic dining experience.

Excellent food, mood, and customer service. We are very grateful to Rosalba, our waitress, who made my wife's birthday celebration a very special one.

The service was very good. The food was solid and was worth stopping in to eat. The wine selection was slightly above average. For the price, I thought that it was worth our time. I would go back.

Pizza Lunch and it was great. Crust was just right and service was good. Would go back to this location for pizza.

I chose this restaurant for a parents only dinner for my son and his fiancé a couple days before their wedding. We made reservations. We were seated promptly even though part of our party was still on the way. Our server, Juan, was super attentive even helping me craft a custom dinner. His service was excellent. The bartender had previously suggested a Moscato and the entire table enjoyed it. Our food was served quickly, it was delicious and we were able to carry on conversation despite being next to the casino. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant for their food, service and atmosphere. A perfect spot for our intentions. I couldn’t be more pleased. We had the lasagna, spaghetti, linguine with clams, calamari and mussels, a custom shrimp fettuccine in vodka sauce and a seafood dish with shrimp, mussels and clams and one of the specials veal tortellini. OMG and let’s not forget the chocolate bread pudding with salted caramel ice cream we all shared. 10⭐️⭐️ all around. Thank you!!

We were searching for a place for dinner and luckily found this restaurant while inside New York New York. We couldn’t have been more happier. Ambience was nice, selections superb but the service was spectacular. So very pleased with our meals. Do not hesitate, Mangia!

First time eating in New York, New York and I think we chose well. Despite the restaurant being full by 6 pm, the mood and ambiance was calm. Our waitress, Rosalba, was patient and helpful. We shared the bruschette assortite then had the salmone alla griglia & griglia di pesce misto for mains. Both were perfectly cooked although the latter was cold within minutes. I supposed that's what happens to grilled fish! The house wine was the perfect accompaniment. Glad we went and yes I would recommend.

Il Fornaio is always a favorite when in Vegas! (and LA, San Diego, San Fran) This evening we had service that was over the top and an outstanding overall experience! I had never sat "outside" at this location before and it was a very energetic and entertaining experience to overlook the casino at NYNY...very high energy made it a perfect Vegas spot. I have previously enjoyed the "indoor" seating for a more intimate and quiet experience,

Il Fornaio serves amazing Italian Food. I visited close to closing time, unlike another restaurant they made seating for me, the staff were extremely friendly, courteous and attention. The food was outstanding, the bread I received prior to the meal was outstanding. It was crusty and hard on the outside, but light on the inside. It is extremely easy to get full prior to the meal, due to the bread tasting so good. The pasta was incredible. The pasta is homemade and flavor is unmatched. The pasta sauce I ordered was also incredible, it had a great balance of flavor. I highly recommend Il Fornaio if you enjoy Italian Food.

So we decided to go Italian this year for our anniversary dinner. When we looked at the menu online, it looked like they had a good selection. We noticed they had arancini rice balls for an appetizer which we love. Turns out they said they changed their menu the beginning of the week and do not serve them any longer. Looking at the menu when we got home, they still show it on the menu. That's strike 1. We ordered the BRUSCHETTE ASSORTITE for an appetizer. 3 small pieces of bread with toppings that was very good. But for $17.00, not worth it. My wife ordered the PAPPARDELLE ALLA NORCINA CON POLLO and I ordered the speciale della casa POLLO ALLA PARMIGIANA. What a big mistake. Hers had little or no flavor. She wanted parmesan cheese and had to ask another waiter who seemed like she did it with a fork you know where. My so called chicken parmesan was, well, don't really know what it was. Yes the chicken breast was large but again, very little flavor. The sauce was like it was right out of a jar. The one at OG (that chain Italian restaurant) was 100 times better. That's strike 2. No bread. Are they that cheap (except for their prices) that they can't even give you bread before dinner? That's strike 3! For a place we've wanted to try for the past few years, and for our anniversary, I must say, stay away from this place. For the price and overall taste not worth it.

This restaurant, located within the New York New York hotel, specializes in Italian cuisine and can change burgers. My pizza was very good and European sized (not XXL). The price was a bit high but by the standards of what is done in Las Vegas. Service was friendly. This is a restaurant that can be recommended.

For the price I’d have expected more. We went for Dinner so paid full price (no happy hour prices) and for what we had it was poor value for money. We had no starters, The two mains were a chicken dish which was a relatively small portion, and pasta. We had 2 colas, a coffee and one small cake and it cost over $100. The food was mediocre in taste. I’ve had much better for half the price. Can’t fault the service though. The staff were great.

The last couple of times we stayed at New York New York and always ate breakfast here. This time we stayed at the Venetian but came back to try dinner. We were very pleased with staff and the food was great!

Food good. Service good. However the way the general manager spoke to his employees was appalling Hence 3 stars. If you have to berate your staff - they should be taken to one side and dealt with, not at the top of your voice publicly and in the faces of people waiting to be seated. It wasn’t just once - he didn’t stop. A very uncomfortable lunch. After asking the server who the shouty man was - we were told he was the GM and “we get used to it” Really not good enough. Perhaps this restaurant needs an undercover boss visit. 👀 and then he might get some management retraining………

Waiter was not the best. He acted like he did not want us there. The Lasagna I had was burned on the top and lacked sauce. I ate it because I was hungry but was disappointed. So service was lacking, food was meh and prices were not cheap. We go to Vegas once a year for CES. Other times we were here it was much better. Maybe it was a bad night but how could they serve up burned cheese on lasagna? If you want to eat some place good, go to Wolf Gang Pucks. Excellent service and great food.

Il Fornaio Cafe is centrally located and we had our breakfast there everyday while we stayed at the New York New York Hotel & Casino. They serve a wide variety of Italian cuisine such as Pizza, Pasta, Gnocchi, Bruschetta etc. We enjoyed hot tea, Bagel with Cheese, Hard boiled egg for breakfast. The staff are helpful and efficient, though it is quite popular and crowded at breakfast time.

The pizza's are 1/2 off for happy hour. Made a very nice outing for me and my family without breaking the budget!! Manager, Massimo, made us feel like one of the family!

My wife and I ate dinner here for the first time. We had a table in the outer portion of the restaurant where the casino is. I had the lasagna and my wife and mixed seafood with spaghetti. Both were pretty good but not great. Nothing special. Had to ask for bread. No wait for a table . Would go back.

The arugula salad was wonderful and the service good. Was disappointed with limited menu; no fish or good non-pasta entrees.

Juan Carlos waited on us and he was EXCELLENT!! We are staying in NewYork, New York and this was our second time eating here during our stay. Although the food was really great both times, our waiter tonight made our meal wonderful. We had calamari, Burrata Prosciutto appetizer, insalata Cesarina, bread an wine. Food was great. They have an excellent olive oil. Juan Carlos was the best!!!

We Il Fornio while in the New York New York hotel casino due to a table availability and variety on the menu. As we were small group at a walk, and we had a small table near the bar, which was actually a great location as we had a fantastic server, it was close to the kitchen and anything we wanted or needed, was attended to. The wine list was good and the drink options were plentiful. Obviously we started with fresh bread and olive oil. I had a delicious salad to start followed by a Tuscan chicken main with mashed potatoes and asparagus, which was delicious my colleagues at either steak or a chicken Parmesan, and both were quite pleased. Portions were reasonably sized, service was great, and the price is reasonable, considering restaurant costs in Las Vegas. I would return

Visited for dinner while staying at NYNY. Had high hopes as menu looked good and vibe seemed pretty good. Food was unfortunately very disappointing. My seafood linguine, despite being laden with seafood, was overcooked and devoid of any real flavour. The pasta was soggy. I ate around half the dish. An expensive mistake. We left quickly. Service was polite and professional.

Love this restaurant. We eat there every time we visit Las Vegas. The breakfast is always delicious. I am so hooked on the eggs Benedict and freshly baked bread. Staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

I have been to this restaurant many times over many years. Even wrote good multiple reviews on Trip Advisor previously. Today was my last time forever I will patronize this place. I won’t give my business to any restaurant that cares so little for its customers. We ordered lunch and that was it - we never saw our waiter again. No asking how was lunch. No drink refills. Nothing. We were meaningless. Long after we were done eating, Finally, after waiting almost 25 min for the check, the waiter dropped the check at the table by literally walking past the table, leaving the check without saying a word or stopping, and kept walking. I think prostitutes get paid with more attention. He then never came back even after disrespectfully leaving the check and treating us like we were nothing. Finally after waiting a further ridiculous amount of time I asked another waiter to please ring us out as he was passing by. He said he would …but even he then ignored me completely and didn’t return. Finally I got up, went to the hostess and told her to ring us out now or I was leaving and I wasn’t paying. She didn’t apologize…just said she would get the manager. A few minutes more and the manager arrived. And she too didn’t apologize. In fact she said nothing except “I’ll ring you up.” Not another word. She too could care less. I paid, left zero tip, and included a promise on the receipt of a bad review on Trip Advisor. Here I am Il Fornaio. Keeping my promise! Don’t eat here folks. Give your business and money to a business that cares. There are plenty in Vegas that do. No one…no one here cares. And management…please…spare me the “I’m so sorry” reply to this review apologizing or whatever. You had several changes too apologize and even pretend to care and you didn’t. You don’t care. You’re not sorry. That’s the real truth no matter what you pretend now that you actually got the review I promised. See you never.

The Caesar salad is large enough to split and had plenty of Parmesan cheese on it. Bread is not served unless ordered for an extra charge. We ordered different pasta dishes and both came with amazing sauces. I drank my dessert called Iced Tiramisu.

We had a very nice dinner here recently. We started with the Gnocchi Gratinati as an appetizer. The gnocchi were fantastic, very tender and flavorful. For my main course I had the Pappardelle alla Norcina Con Pollo. It was very good. The pappardelle were nice and al dente and the sauce was wonderful with a great mushroom flavor. There could have been a bit more chicken for my liking, but overall it was a very tasty dish.

The food here and service was great. It's also nice for people watching while you eat. The only draw back was that they are currently changing their menu and they were out of multiple wines I had selected. The do charge for bread, which I don't think serves 4 people as advertised but I understand why they charge for it.

I had previously visited here during an anniversary celebration weekend. We ate here prior to seeing Zoomanity . Dinner was awesome. This trip we decided to have breakfast. We both chose an omelette. The presentation was lovely. The food was exceptionally fresh. Our waiter was efficient as well. They seated us outside the restaurant with a view of the casino itself. It surprisingly wasn’t horribly noisy I’d too smoky. All in all just a good breakfast, good portion. The only negative thing is they served breakfast with polenta. Just not a fan of that. Just not my preference.

Excellent from start to finish everyone enjoyed best meal out in vegas by far. Lam chops in the specials was perfect all in the group from steak to pasta didn’t complain and wanted more.

This a surprisingly tasty stop. My daughter and I let ourselves get a little too hungry without having a good plan so we took a chance. It’s true that it is a bit spend-y but we split the Vodka pasta and a bread basket and it was plenty for us and that kept the cost reasonable. Our food also came out really fast and our server was top notch.

We ate excellent Italian pizzas in this restaurant. Portions are normal, here we don't order part! The filling is hearty and the Service is attentive, the iced tea is reserved if you no longer have it as is usually done with water. The prices are obviously a bit high but it is not inconvenient considering the location and the quality of the dishes.

Once again our group had a wonderful experience at ll Fornaio. Everyone l loved their menu selections. The staff was attentive and top notch. The atmosphere is fun and lively. I definitely recommend checking this restaurant out

We stopped for a quick bite for lunch, pizza is very good and the value is amazing. It is hard to find a fair price in Vegas but this place still gets it for you!!

The breakfast served with astisian toast was the bomb. They really know how to make an ommelate. The hotel guest two for one was a real value. Staff was awesome

We tried this Italian restaurant because we were staying in the hotel. It was a little pricey, but it was worth it! I got the Pennoni Alla Vodka. It was seriously soooooooo good! The cocktails were very good, and the staff was very friendly and nice. We also had breakfast another day and it was also very tasty.

We booked a private room for our daughters wedding meal. Nothing was too much trouble. The service was friendly and efficient and the food tasty. We had a four course set menu with good choice of main course and options for vegetarian and vegan guests. Thank you.

We didn't eat here during regular hours but instead ate two meals during happy hour. Flatbreads and pizza were excellent and some of the drinks on the happy hour menu were very unique and delicious. Very good service as well.

We ate here twice in our visit and the food was good and the staff helpful and friendly. The price was a tad over the top we thought but most of LV is. Worth a try

Went for dinner one evening & it was lovely! There was a short line so we had to wait about 5 mins as we hadn’t booked. I had the calamari to start & the tagliatelle Bologanise for main course! Both delicious. The atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly

Excellent service from Monica, very good food and tasty wine. We had a very pleasant experience. Thanks to il fornaio

Well situated in the New York New York Casino. This place has an interesting and authentic Italian menu. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, we found the food to be bland and flavorless.

We have been to Vegas several times and had not visited this restaurant before. Boy did we miss out! Travelling with my spouse and some friends, we had dinner here. Service was good, menu options plentiful and quality excellent. I had the bacon vodka pasta dish and it was delicious. My husband had the chicken parmeson and said it was the best he has ever had. We highly recommend and most definitely will return on our next visit!

This place does get busy, so I recommend getting a reservation. It was a little on the pricey side, but really not that out of the norm for Vegas. One of the best Italian dinners I’ve ever had. We had the calamari for an appetizer, the chicken gnocchi for the entrée, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was so delicious! Would absolutely dine here again.

We ate breakfast here our second day and ended up returning every morning after that because of the great service and food. Coffee was amazing, I bought some to bring home. Bread is made there, delish. Bacon is excellent. We actually called the manager to our table to compliment him on his staff and food. If you are staying in the hotel the food is 2 for 1, ask the server. They won't ask if you are, but you can ask them.

The warm Ciabatta bread they serve when you sit down is so good it could ruin your meal! Save room for the great food that follows.

I returned for dinner after a bit of a break. It's STILL good BUT NOT up to the experience I'm used to. My friend who has very little appetite got the lentil soup. Considering the price there should have been a BIGGER portion and it should have had a BIT more flavor considering it was on special. I got the Boar Sugo {stew} over pappardelle pasta with a large glass of a Tuscan Red BOTH on special. They were good BUT much plainer than I would associate with the restaurant. I guess that post New Year ISN'T a good time to visit. My coffee and Tiramisu were a good ending so at least we finished on a high note. Next time I expect better for what I spend here though.

Great breakfast. The waffles with fruit were great. And the coffee was delicious.Would definitely recommend

Take back to Italy! You feel like your at an outdoor cafe. Great food and service. The chicken parm is their signature dish. Try it

Excellent pizza! Great crusts on them. The gluten free pasta also was very well done! The service was excellent too. We enjoyed it!

Good food with large portions for a fair price. Right in the heart of nyny so convenient to everything on the property. The seafood pasta has a very zesty sauce and the pizza crust has a great texture and flavor for thin crust. We will be back!

After dining at Il Fornaio in Las Vegas at various times, breakfast-lunch-Dinner, I find that dining during their happy-hour was the best because it is not crowded and customer service is a bit better and more courteous. I could tell it has gone thru change of management who now seems to be less customers service oriented than in past years. I would not recommend “order to go” because you will never get same with dine in for the same price. We did once, disappointing after rating them 5 stars in past years.

Sat at the bar for happy hour. Prices were less than most places we looked at there for drinks so gave it a go. Happy hour menu was short but reasonable. Had calamari and arancini and a fra-diabalo pizza. All were very good. Overall nice time.

Our party of 5 visited in late May. We all agreed that the service was excellent and the food was very good. We split a pizza for an appetizer and all 5 of us the Pasta Bolognese. 4 of us thought the pizza was better. I personally wish I would have ordered the pizza for my meal! We all said we would eat there again!

We went to Il Fornaio for New Year’s eve dinner since we were going to see the Zumanity. I reviewed the menu online prior to going since I’m a picky eater. When we got there they had a completely different menu for New Year’s and the only thing I liked was fish. I ordered the branzino after the waiter told me it was a nice thick white fish. I did not like the way it came with the skin on it was not a huge portion, so I ended up having to get dessert because I was starving. Service was OK not great. Would not recommend going here again.

We ate at the bar and had really good service. We had the pasta a la vodka and a margarita pizza. Both were fresh and very tasty. The bartenders checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The price was fair for where we were.

We ate here for 2 nights as it was convenient in our hotel. We had a lovely meal the first night . Service is good but you should never clear away one plate when the others are still eating . The food second visit was just so so salty , shocking even for me as a salt fiend .

A colleague and I enjoyed a breakfast here one morning. Fairly standard American breakfast options, but with an Italian twist.

We ate there last night and loved it. They did a great job handling my allergies, preparing plain chicken breast and plain pasta. The calimari was wonderful. My wife loved her chicken parmesan. The olive oil was also very good. We were very happy here.

I didn’t need reservations here. It’s right in the casino which allows people watching. I had the half chicken which was very very good. The server was very nice and a little funny.

We have been here many times and it seems each time it gets worse Don’t expect free bread anymore. They now charge for it The inside seating is under construction so you have to sit in the outer area with all the slot machines. This made it very hard for my husband to hear Oh, you know that 2 for 1 breakfast you used to get if you stayed there? Gone. They dont even serve breakfast now. The item i always get was now gone despite it being on the menu online. They said it was seasonal but yet I’ve ordered it every season. Don’t get the olive and tomato spread for the bread. How do you “ spread” an olive with a pit in it? Skip that Caesars salad was short on dressing Needless to say this visit was a complete disappointment. The only thing up to standard was the Calamari

One of the best Italian restaurants around! Each time we’re in Vegas, we make sure to have a meal here. This time , I enjoyed the Pacherri Alla Vodka which was incredible. I also had a wonderful , fresh Caesar salad and raspberry sorbet for dessert. The service was impeccable!!!! Thanks, Juan!

Second time we have been to Il Fornaio and it was great again. Went there for birthday supper for my wife and service and food were fantastic wine was great and all of our meals excellent!! Will be back again.

Food was great. Big fluffy pancakes with real maple syrup. The eggs benedict were bang on. The 2 for 1 was a great affordable option for breakfast. Our service from Meagan was perfect. Thanks!

Excellent menu choices. Service was prompt and friendly. Mid range pricing. Do not order Limoncello here, too sweet and not enough liquor, and it was served warm

Our party of 6 was seated quickly at 6 PM even though we were walk-ups. Table in the back was quiet, even though it was a Saturday evening.. Servers were very helpful explaining the many food choices. Pricing was fair and a good value .As usual my wife and I happily shared an entree. I would return.

We ate here on our way to see Zumanity. A nice place, but high priced. The Calamari was quite good. I had the seabass special. A bit disconcerting, wasn't expecting the head of the bass! It tasted good, and I marvel at how a fish can be deboned and remain pretty well intact. My husband had the Petto Pollo, which he said was just okay. A decent place, not great.

This is the third time I have eaten here and each time I am impressed! The food is amazing and affordable. The atmosphere is pretty and fun and the service is great.

Il Fornaio is a nice comfortable restaurant with wonderful Italian food. We stopped in for a light dinner and had the pizza and salad which was great. Francisco was our waiter and was very friendly, helpful and made some great wine suggestions. We asked him where a good place to go for a nice birthday dinner with the rest of our group when they arrived in town. He made some suggestions, we ended up coming back to Il Fornaio and made sure we were in Fancisco's section. Again, he did not dissapoint, great food and great wine with a great waiter!!

My partner and I go to Vegas once a year and have been going to this restaurant at least once each trip. The recent trip in late October was no different. But both the food and service has gone downhill. Everything we ordered needed salt and lacked flavour. Not sure if the chef/kitchen staff are new. The smallest special request of the waiter seems like a serious annoyance. I also felt the service was quite rushed and abrupt. I would say this restaurant is now average at best which is very disappointing.

Have always enjoyed our meals here. The food is always very good and the flavors are wonderful. The service is good. I wish they would open breakfast back up!

Me and my wife had dinner here. The calamari was a little rubbery but good. Our disappointment was the lasagna that we both got, it tasted just plain with no spices. We have had lasagna at small low cost restaurants we’re we live and the lasagna is much better and half the price. We thought with this being a medium to high end restaurant, the food would be awesome, but not in our case. The staff and our waiter was great, the decor is also nice. I do recommend having dinner here and we may be back, we will try a different dish next time.

Food is good, but expensive for what you are given. Five dollars for 5 pieces of bread with basalmic vinegar and oil is ridiculous.

I went here for dinner with my daughters. We all got different pastas and each of us thought they were great. I would definitely go again. The chicken parm is great.

Wonderful attentive waiter and great food unlike the previous place we went Nine fine Irish men. Lunch was good and flavor full

This place just gets me EVERY TIME I eat here. I grew up in Northern NJ and I went to school in NYC SO Il Fornaio gets the Italian dining experience. They had a Seafood {shrimp} special with a Pomodoro style sauce that was heany on the garlic which included linguini and spinach. It paired very well with a Tuscan Blend Red that was also on special that evening. I started with the house salad and finished with the Tiramisu. I got coffee and a small glass of Port to conclude the festivities. I'd return here anytime.

The food is very mainstream and Olive Garden quality. However, the absolutely unacceptable service is their red wine. They feel compelled to serve bottles/glasses of red wine at 80+ degrees and taste horrible, even if a respectable bottle on the market. Do yourself a favor and ask for an ice bucket to bring the bottle down to cellar/drinkable temperature.

Anytime we are at NYNY we stop in for a meal. Food is great, steak is especially good. Bread was a bit hard for me but enjoyed everything else as usual.

The service was friendly and the food was great. Love the atmosphere there. The lighting was a little dark and the menu was small to read but still enjoyed our visit there.

We had our anniversary dinner here. Food delicious, service lets say a little "to" good. We had two staff members standing a table away the whole time we ate watching. Our food came before we finished our appetizer and they started clearing the minute we finished our plate. The restaurant was not busy so they didn't need the table. Wasn't very relaxing.

Italian restaurant in Pension New York New York where we ate very well. Delicious zucchini lasagna and very well cooked pasta e which is not always the case Pizza oven Correct Award for the United States

Happy Hour here was fantastic. Italian red wine part of Happy Hour was great. My companion had the Tuscan Lemonade which he said was great. Shared a Margarita pizza that was fabulous. Prices at Happy Hour were great too.

An Italian dining spot inside the New York New York. We enjoyed our meal, we ordered a lasagne and the tagliatelle bolognaise. We would have had dessert but wasn't offered a dessert menu, and once main plates were cleared the gave us the check, so we assumed they didn't have one, however when we looked online later they did, so not sure why they didn't offer. We did have a nice evening though overall.

Pretty good happy hour between 2 and 6 every day. Pizzas for around $14, can be shared by two probably. Cocktails are $8, deeply discounted. Wine $7, beer $6. Food was good. Took a little while to get served.

Staff was very attentive. Food was delicious. Pumpkin walnut ravioli was so amazing. Only had an hour before a show and staff made sure we had plenty of time but never felt rushed. Will definitely go again.

I’m going to be blunt and say that I don’t think it is an Italian restaurant. It’s more of an American pizzeria that has got ideas above its station. They didn’t have a Negroni or an Aperol Spritz on the cocktail menu. I was so shocked at this. They had a happy hour with one red wine, a Chianti. Yuck. Honestly, Italy has so much better wine. My wife is pregnant and asked for a non alcoholic cocktail. They couldn’t do it so she ended up with water. The happy hour food menu was limited but that’s fair. They’ve got spaghetti and meatballs. Wrong. The meatballs are served on their own. What’s that about? Finally we asked for the main menu to find they don’t do carbonara. I think the waitress was getting a bit fed up at this point so we left. But, in my opinion, you can’t call yourself an Italian restaurant and not serve two common Italian cocktails and a carbonara.

This place charged us for bread and butter/oil. This is a ridiculous practice and the servers justify it by saying "Well, it's clearly on the menu." I can understand doing this if someone is just ordering drinks. But somebody enjoying a meal shouldn't have to pay extra (even if it's just $2) for bread. This shows that this restaurant is focused more on profits than ensuring their guests have a great experience. The food was tasty but nothing special. I expected better all around - especially from a restaurant in a big-time Las Vegas resort. I had a second and big concern that the head chef didn't wear a chef's hat or any kind of hair protection. He had a full head of greyish hair (more than the other chefs combined) and his hair was completely free to fall in our food while cooking. Save yourself (and your wallet) from this money-grubbing corporate chain and go enjoy one of the dozens of top-notch Italian restaurants elsewhere in Las Vegas!!

A great value and delicious! We ordered the calamari and pizza margherita. With a couple of drinks the bill was less than $50. So much fun!

Our meal was average at best. The meatballs were bland with little to no flavor and the tagliatelle was basic. The best part of the meal was the pizza. It was well prepared in a brick oven. If you’re craving pizza then this restaurant may be a good fit for you. Otherwise, there are much better Italian options in Vegas.

Celebrating anniversary dinner and a great place to enjoy atmosphere (inside or outside) - also the food was terrific - Capellini Pomodo can't be beat and the salmon to perfection The entire wait staff seems on their toes ready to help with all - Our server Edgar was the best You can't go wrong - We loved it and will be back !!!!!!!!

NY NY casino favorite each time we visit. Everything we have tried has been a great experience. Wood fired pizza , fresh pasta, bread and great steaks. Pair that with a nice glass of wine for an incredible dinner.

We visited for a meal around 4:30pm on a Monday, before going to the theatre. We thought the service here was excellent - very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the complementary bread and oils. We loved our pizzas, which were absolutely huge, followed by a tiramisu which was big enough to share. We paid $100 for our meal, drinks and service, which is reasonable for a meal on the strip. The restaurant is located on the casino floor, which took away some of the ambience for us, although it’s great for people watching. There is a happy hour pizza deal, but this is only available if you sit at the bar. We would probably not return to this restaurant, as there are so many alternatives to try.

I had the meal shown in the picture. It was ok. A bit spicy for me but it was ok. It honestly upset my stomach. My husband had the steak. Our waiter was very nice and offered suggestions. It offered the slight Italian feel I was looking for. The only issue I had was finding the place. It is not easy. I had to call all over just to locate it. I don't like how these places are so hidden inside the hotels and casinos. I suggest adding the location with reservations just in case.

Thank you for a fantastic experience and not asking "are you still working on it" or "do you need a box to go".

We ate her because we also had tickets for cirque du solei Mad Apple show. Cocktails were honest and tasty. The table had pizza, pasta dishes and all were judged good. Great people watching with outside tables.

Nothing to complain about, everything is perfect in this restaurant. Place in the heart of the New York hotel casino, the place is very pleasant, the food is just perfect! This is our canteen

A nice Italian restaurant in NYNY. We dined at Il Fornaio Friday September 29. Waiter was knowledgeable , charming and professional. We had a variety of pasta dishes. The seafood pasta was very good also enjoyed the tuna tartare and the iinsalata do pere. Also had one of the specials, tortellini in mushroom sauce. Nice house red wine, finished up with espresso and limoncello. Totally enjoyed our experience, would gladly return

Came in after a Knights game. The service was excellent. We were seated promptly. We ordered one of the specials, the chicken stuffed ravioli which was very good. For two, with a drink each and tip it was $114. We would go back.

There were 6 of us for dinner. The service was great and so was the food. Between the 6 of us there was 3 different meals at our table and we all had to sample all three. Great. If you love Italian this is the place to go.

Went for a date/romantic dinner. BIG fail. So noisy, brightly lit, and very expensive. I will not be coming back to this location.

We ate breakfast here and the food was very good and the prices reasonable. The staff was very attentive and the restaurant was clean

Authentic and delicious Italian food. Service was friendly and fast. Inside New York New York, which can be a little loud in the background, but I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Sure hope New York New York Casino considers the no smoking policy like the Park MGM!!

Of our group of 4, at least 2 of the meals (veal Marsala and a chicken dish) were either dry or not very flavorful. My starter - carpaccio - was excellent and capellini was fine. So overall a mixed review on the food. Service was excellent and the wine we had - amarone - was outstanding.

My wife had baked Chicken. It was a tender, juicy and tasty half chicken. I had Lasagna which was ok. The bread cost extra and was delicious. I just thought it was an expensive meal for Italian cuisine. . Typical hotel casino restaurant.

Had a tomato and garlic pasta with chicken. Sauce bland and some chicken pieces so tough as to be inedible. Left 90% of it. Very surprisingly, no inquiry from staff to ask why.

I'm not a huge Italian fan tbh but this place was really good. My only problem was they didn't give me enough lol. Kind of small portions. But I was with my mom and we split a steak with mash potatoes and had a lasagna. So good. Perfect amount of cheese and meat and sauce. The steak was very good too. And then a tiny lil chocolate desert that I also enjoyed. I'd go back.

Excellent food! Excellent service! Desserts were top-notch! The drinks were unique and very well done! We had four in our party and the service was outstanding, very attentive, and just right with not disturbing our conversation and not rushing us. We will certainly return!

We were seated right away in a busy Vegas where restaurant lines are long. Pasta and gourmet pizza were good although pricey for what you get. But par for Vegas. Ambiance was nice and good getaway from crowds. However our waiter was not very good. Only interested getting people in and out quick, no refills on water, very abrupt answering questions.

Ordered two meals, took awhile for our drinks and once we got our food our waiter Never checked on us. When we finished never asked us if we wanted coffee, desert or anything..my suggestion find a better place service was AWEFUL!! came in tale end of July.

Great dinner and even better we made happy hour. Calamari and bologanase pasta was delicious. Our server Oscar was very attentive.

Have eaten here seveal times for breakfast over the years and it never disappoints. The waitstaff is good, the speed of service is fast, and the food is plentiful and tasty. I usually order the bruschetta breakfast and always enjoy it. The Leonardo mimosa (proscecco with strawberry juice) was also yummy. If you are a guest at NYNY, and with another person, tell the waiter you want the 2-for-1 deal and they will discount your bill at the end.

Very good food, fun atmosphere. I enjoyed the appetizers and the branzino was great. I will be back if in the area. Service was also excellent.

I have eaten here nearly every time I am in Vegas. They never disappoint! Friendly staff and very helpful! I had the chicken Parmesan and ooohhh my it was delicious! I chose a Pinot noir Russian River and it was amazing and paired well. I am always good at picking a nice wine! I wanted a dark chocolate dessert to go with the rest of the wine but alas, they did not have that so the waiter recommended the tiramisu. Now I don’t like tiramisu, but he said it was the best I would fine on the strip or anywhere. Ok, since it has a wee bit of chocolate, I’ll try it. He was so not wrong! This is amazing and decadently delicious! It went well with the wine to where I ended up getting more wine to finish it off with. I was in pure heaven. The one boo boo they made was not giving me any bread and tasting oil but I was so happy with the rest, I didn’t mind. My cheeks quickly flushed hot from the wine so thankfully there was water on the table to help cool down and he gave me a cup to take the rest of the wine with me. This is one of my favorite restaurants on the strip!

My buddy and I ate here recently, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal from the bread to dessert. My friend had the grilled fish which looked great, I had had seafood over pasta absolutely delicious. Great wine , and our deserts were great. Next time I’m in Vegas I’m going here for my first meal!

Stopped here on my lsat night. Bar seating for happy hour. Apps and pizza are 50% off with limited drink specials. I ordered the Tiki drink (2 actually). Very delicious, light and refreshing. It's a version of a mojito I believe. For pizza I chose the Capricciosa which was very tasty. Crust is thin and crisp without being hard and crunchy, Boxed up the remaining slices, Can probably be compared to a medium size pizza from a chain. Definitely enough for two people. The Bruschetta app was the star for me. Extremely satisfying. I wanted pasta however being by myself didn't want a huge plate of food, nor anything heavy. Will definitely be back to try some pasta. Service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. Bill was $37 before tip. Highly recommend.

Had two appetizers: Bruchetta and Mozzarella Caprice Salad. We had the Salmon entre and it was excellent. Highly recommend!

Dinner closed at 10. We got here just in time. Seated in patio area where you're pretty much part of the casino floor. Not very quiet or intimate. I'd say you'd be better off inside. Maybe because of the hour, they were out of two dishes we had wanted to order. But the other restaurants were closing down, too, so we opted to stay and order alternative plates. So the mushroom lasagna was, at most, adequate. And we didn't finish off the pistachio chicken pasta. Bread plate was a tad extra in price. Not sure I'd return.

Happy hour had a fabulous and affordable menu. The beef carpaccio and trios of bruschetta were so delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

Visited here as it was close by from where we were staying. Took a while for someone to take our drinks order, we asked for more time to look at the menu. Hubby had the vodka pasta but said he couldn’t taste it, I had the bolognaise tagliatelle which was lovely. We asked for some bread. The meal with drinks came to just under $100 which just wasn’t worth it. I get it’s vegas but the meal was just average .

Popped in for dinner bc it was nearby with no wait when we got hungry. Our entrees were ok; prices all right for the area. I wouldn’t go out of the way to come here but it’s a fine choice if convenient. This is similar to your typical Olive Garden

Yummy YUMMY!! We've always liked this place. The food is great, the service is prompt and gracious. Sadly, the music noise from the casino really impaired our ability to even speak to one another during this visit. Hope the hotel fixes this problem quickly

We chose Il Fornaio because it looked nice and wasn't too busy.I don't know if our server was having a bad day,but there wasn't much interaction from the time we entered to the time we left. There was quite a poor vegetarian selection but my steak was well cooked and tasty, although a bit pricey.I wouldn't not go back, but might look elsewhere first.

We lunched at the cafe and bakery. Soup was delicious. Italian sub was good but bread is rough on top of the mouth. Pasta dish seemed to be the overall favorite with ham and peas.

Dinner here was so delicious!! And the sangria was also! Would highly recommend for a nice Italian dinner in New York New York.

We first ate here in 2013 & have been waiting to return. The restaurant hasn't changed. We had a great meal once again. The food, atmosphere & friendly staff are what is great about this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Managed to get a table inside without a reservation. Attentive service and good fresh food. Can recommend the seafood linguini, meat balls and bread with oil/ vinegar, washed down with a New Zealand bottle of Pinot Noir. Not as expensive as other Italian restaurants either.

Great food, nice atmosphere and excellent service. Joined friends for dinner, had a few beers and then an excellent steak and potato main course-delicious. Jason-our friendly server kept the drinks coming and ensured we were well taken care of for the evening! Honey-sit at the tall tables in the bar are with your back to the kitchen-great people watching in the casino!!

From entering the restaurant to exit was an excellent experience. This was a restaurant my new wife and I frequented on a previous trip to Vegas. We enjoyed it so much it became our restaurant for our wedding dinner on May 24, 2022. We were not disappointed, our waiter was efficient and friendly. The main course was awesome and the dessert, tira misu was melt in your mouth amazing. Although this is a little more expensive then an everyday meal it is definitely a great treat. Highly recommend this experience.

Very accommodating. Food was excellent. The gnocchi were some of the fluffiest and most delicious i have had. The service was very good and friendly. We were in a time crunch due to a flight and they served us well. Will definitely go back when we are in vegas.

We had a reservation for dinner and saw that they had a "happy hour' and ask if we could just switch to do that and we did. It's a casual bar area just off the main dining room...nice selection of inexpensive eats and drinks. Service was good as was the food...we had a pizza and the roasted cauliflower....everything was hot and delicious. We will go back next time in Vegas.

We loved our waitress Rosa! She made our visit so wonderful and the food and drinks were great! We highly recommend this restaurant!

IL Fornaio is a US-based chain that traces its roots back to Italy, where the brand was founded some fifty years ago. Described as a “soothingly neutral Italian restaurant” by Fodor’s, IL Fornaio has been on my “must try” list since 2017. Back then, I believe this restaurant was in TripAdvisor’s top 30, which is an excellent standing in a wildly competitive city like Las Vegas. In the current day, IL Fornaio sits at #174, which is still quite good considering TripAdvisor lists over 3,000 restaurants in this city. In any event, I was excited to finally try this place – seven years after adding it to my foodie list! Arriving for lunch, I didn’t really see much of the interior restaurant space because we were seated in the “patio” area on the main casino grounds. Thankfully, noise wasn’t much of an issue because the NYNY was fairly subdued for a lunchtime repast – most guests were probably still recovering after a long night out of partying! But I digress . . . the “patio” was quite nice – very informal with lights hanging off beams overhead. Picture a classic Italian restaurant . . . Las Vegas style! For lunch, I had the Mafaldine Alla Friulana, which is described as curly-edged flat pasta served w/ Italian sausage, mushrooms, tomato-cream sauce, and grana Padano. The pasta just reminded me of the edge of a lasagna noodle, but the sauce was off the charts delicious. The Italian sausage added some nice texture and a small kick, but I do wish there was more of it. The grana Padano gave the pasta nice creamy element. All in all, it was a very satisfying dish! FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 VALUE: 4/5 RECOMMENDATION: One thing a lot of the previous TripAdvisor reports have in common, and that I agree with, is they point out that the service @ IL Fornaio is of a high calibre. This is true and totally makes the meal that much more enjoyable. If I were staying in the New York New York, I would definitely come back here again for lunch or dinner. When in Vegas, indulge and enjoy your carbs. PS: If you found this review helpful in any way please consider hitting the "helpful" button!

I guess I'm pretty disappointed. I read on their menu they had fresh homemade pasta which obviously would excite anyone who has had homemade pasta. I had seen fabulous reviews online. The pasta was not homemade to what we could tell and the sauce was very dull with not much for flavor. Maybe we would eat here again. But chances are slim.

Being in Vegas on weekends now requires reservations to get a table without waiting for hours to eat. Il Fornaio was convenient and has a decent menu. Having reservations we walked in and were immediately seated. We had caesar salads, pizza, and 2 pasta dishes. Every item was well prepared and very tasty. Total for everything, including tip was under $150. Great meal for a great price. We would eat here again.

On our first night in Vegas for our family vacation, we got in rather late and were starved. We were staying at NYNY so decided to stay on property. Every place had a wait so we went here and they seated us right away! Everything was outstanding...service, our meals, atomosphere...all great! We will definately dine here again! Can't give this place enough stars **********

Great meal, awesome service, will definitely return. A photographer took pictures she was nice and chatty. The food was hot, fresh, and very good.

Excellent pizza, light, digestible, with good garnish (Margherita and Cristina). The only flaw is the waiter who tricked us into bringing us directly the water bottle ($9) not placing as an alternative the typical "draft" water that is served for free here in America.

A friend and I were just looking for a quick dinner place and were pleasantly surprised by our meal. Service was very attentive and we both enjoyed our meals. I tried a Barbera by the glass and it paired nicely with my meal.

Great food at good prices , our favorite Italian Restaurant in the strip. The lasagna was terrific as was the spaghetti with meat sauce. We were seated right away and the staff was friendly.

Nice place with limited menu near the front desk. Good pastries. Coffee is nothing special. No line made it an easy decision and staff was efficient and friendly. Note line goes counterclockwise and enter on the right side. Nice atmosphere.

Food was amazing, pasta was delicious and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Rigatoni alla Vodka, it was generous and delicious. We had 3 in our party and everyone enjoyed their meal. We also split a salad between the 3 of us, because it was pretty big! Our service was fast….maybe a little too quick, but overall good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

They told me good things about this place but for me people don't know how to eat a plate of pasta that makes you pay with the reason and they serve you a plate of pre-cooked meal it didn't give you anything I will never go back there again total disgusting the pasta gave you water not of matrixiana

Nice atmosphere, but for just simple pasta and appetizers, it was "meh". Totally overpriced, but I guess that's because you are sitting in the middle of New York/New York in Vegas. Seriously, though, $30 for a lemondrop martini? Which tasted the same as if I had made it myself? $400 for a party of 6 with two people just getting appetizers is too much.

During COVID-19 times this place is only open for lunch or dinner. There are many fantastic dinner options in Vegas, don’t waste one eating here for dinner. However, as lunch goes, this place is fantastic. With good hearty and fresh food served in a very welcoming atmosphere, Il Fornaio is a wonderful lunch option where you can hardly order anything you won’t like.

Hadn't booked but called in for early evening dinner. Ordered the butternut squash ravioli which was sublime. Swift service and reasonable prices.

We had never eaten dinner only breakfast here. It was so rich and filling. Service was perfect. We both walked away very full. I had the Conchiglie Norcina con Pollo - very rich. My husband had the lasagna - served piping hot! Tip - don't fill up on the delicious bread brought to your table before dinner is served! It's tempting but leave room for your dinner!

This place was my 1st dinner when I returned to Vegas. I almost always make it the first place I'll dine because I want to set off the vacay right and I'm hardly ever disappointed. JUST so you're aware, the menu is SLIGHTLY reduced during the reopening phase and the specials are cut back as well. ALSO NO breakfast is being served which is a bit of a letdown as I love the restaurant for that meal as well. I started with a Caesar salad which is was cool and crisp. Bread came with balsamic vinegar in olive oil on the side. For my entree, I went with the linguine mare chiaro which was thin flat pasta with clams, mussels, prawns and scallops seasoned with tomatoes, crushed red pepper, garlic and trebbiano wine. It was JUST as I remember it. I got a 9 ounce pour of a Super Tuscan Blend and it paired quite nicely. For dessert, I had coffee and I stuck with Tiramisu as selections were limited. It was ALL great nonetheless. It was an excellent way to start my trip.

It's not easy to 'dinner' properly in Vegas without ending up in restaurants that aren't as expensive as blood... so we fell back on a pizza. The place is inside a complex where there is a mega casino, mediocre pizzas, mediocre beers, very high prices... we are in Las Vegas

Went here on Thursday and got the Como Spritz and a Tiki Taormina. Very Good drinks for the price in Vegas.

This is a very nice place, with really good food. Pricy but it's worth it. The only one thing I can mention is that it was too noisy for us.

This was our third visit to Il Fornaio and it was an epic fail. No bread and my pasta was not done. I never leave food on my plate but I left almost all of it. I was very ill about thirty minutes after we left, not sure it was this place or another, but I do not recommend this restuarant at all. Our server spoke very fast was hard to understand and just a really bad experience all around.

Il Fornaio Bakery Cafe is the breakfast & bakery next to the main Il Fornaio restaurant. Located in the New York New York Hotel. I had a ham, cheese and egg croissant and coffee.... was okay. Got a Strawberry Danish for later. Good choice if you don't want to do the full breakfast buffet and just want something quick.

Was travelling solo so sat at the bar to eat, very busy restaurant. Had a few beers and a bowl of pasta which was nice had some good flavour to it. Not the biggest portion in the world for the money but it did the job and was convenient.
Thanksgiving Dinner
We had a wonderful dinner here , no muss no fuss! Did not do their Italian feast but made our own. Started off with a merlot, bruschetta and then had one of the best pizzas we were had the special Margherita. Then we shared the Tagliatelle all a Bolognee. The service was outstanding
