Super bow

Another great night thanks to the greatest staff. Chris was amazing, and the recommendation he made, was perfect for my husband and myself.

Beyond Breakfast

By JDSoui |

Arrived earlier in the day and the room was not available and decided to have breakfast on property. The service was attentive and amiable - beyond that the wait team took time to have a bit of dialogue making the service even more personable. The menu had a mix of healthy to decadent, and the portions and seasoning did not disappoint. Overall a pleasant dining experience by in large to a friendly wait team.

Something was wrong in the kitchen

By Michael B |

The food is creatively designed and nicely prepared and it was delicious. But the time that it took to get the food out of the kitchen once ordered was unacceptably long. After the server cleared our salad plates we waited 45 minutes to get our entrees. This was early on a friday night when the restaurant was less than half full. And they offer only 5 white and 5 red wines by the glass. The one white that I ordered they were out of . Unacceptable.

Isabelle's Restaurant Five Star experience

By jctamajon |

Elegant place located in the beautiful Ritz Carlton Hotel in Coconut Grove, Miami Florida. Our experience was five star, the service is very personalized and the staff have a great knowledge of the food being offered. The quality of food was Michelin grade and the menu selection is excellent for all tastes. The prices are very competitive compared with the surrounding restaurants in the Grove, but the quality of service and food makes this place a memory making experience. Easy valet parking and perfect location. We highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

Great Service and Place to Visit Inside the Ritz-Carlton, Coconut Grove

By Boris E |

We had the chance to visit Isabelle's Grill Room and Garden for breakfast during our most recent stay at the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove. Even though the quality of service was great, we felt that the amount charged for breakfast was a bit pricey. For two people, it was around $55 plus tip. If you are staying in the property, I would recommend booking a breakfast package to cover the cost. Location is quite lovely and worth it but would consider other options nearby.

Disappointing in every respect

By ToTellTheTruthHonest |

Went for a family brunch, and the place is quite pretty. However, not a single item came out as we ordered, waiter literally had no idea what we were saying, and we did not know that because he repeated everything we ordered-it just was meaningless gibberish to him. Eggs were cold, prepared incorrectly twice, 5 orders of hash browns that we never ordered kept coming to our table. UGH!

Great Lunch

By Rosgriffin |

Had a spectacular lunch here. Service was top notch and the food was wonderful. The dessert was to die for. They had a good reasonably priced wine list. It is primarily an Italian Mediterranean restaurant with plenty of fresh regional dishes. We had a very nice and fun time here and I highly recommend it.

Pleasant surprise

Had breakfast while staying at the hotel (Ritz, Coconut Grove) where restaurant is located. Limited but tasty choices. Very nice staff. Definitely worth trying.

Great food, atmosphere, and staff

By AJSunshine |

The food is wonderful. The outside garden area is beautiful. The service is top notch. Each mealtime menu is unique and has delicious food. I highly recommend trying dinner, breakfast, or lunch at this restaurant.

Average food, expensive price. Noisy environment.

By Running Man |

Appetizers were just average. Citrus salad was the best part of the meal. Pasta and sauce were comparable to fast food pasta. Overpriced in my opinion. Atmosphere was really loud and carrying a conversation was difficult without yelling. No music in our area, just lots of echoes and background noise. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Great food and service, it needs better ambience

By Jani |

Went for dinner with my buddies at this restaurant and i have a few things to say. Good stuff: amazing food, crab cake and beef carpaccio were out of this world, but my filet mignon was even better. Probably one of the best pieces of meat i had in a very long time. I loved the red wine sauce too. Service from the stuff was just outstanding. Chef Abel came to the table few times, first to recommend us a few dishes and then to check up on us later. I am amazed. Our waitress Raffaella was as just as good. Service timing was perfect and i didn’t feel in any second that i am missing something. What would i change here: more signature cocktails, better wine list, and most important the ambience which is kinda boring, it has bad lightning and needs some louder music in the back.

Delight Sunday Brunch

By Maxx882 |

What could be better??? Easy jazz duo creating ambience for a delish brunch/lunch. Mimosas for my friends and fresh mint in hot water for me..... Welcoming indoor/outdoor atmosphere from the first greeting by the hostess, Fransiska, to the attentive servers in an elegant lush setting of greenery. Presentation, freshness, and flavorful, our meals were satisfying. I finished every morsel of my tuna Poké. Will definitely return.

Nice atmosphere, great service, food ok

By Andrea H |

Mushroom papardelle is excellent. Very rich and lots of mushrooms. I added shrimp which was over cooked and salty. Wine selection by the glass is limited. Bartender Christian is excellent and was the best part of the experience.

Felt like my honeymoon in the city :)

By Selia R |

First of all, I would like to mention the server who made our evening magical with his service and warm personality. I name Ram. I write reviews, when I really have something to brag about. Ram's service was simply excellent. Great energy, perfect suggestions and timing. The design of the outdoors is beautiful, it feels like a tropical garden in the heart of the city. You will understand when you go :) We had: Shrimp cocktail : 5 well cooked meaty pieces FRESH ! Spanish octopus: Going back for it ! Tuna poke: delicious and red fresh tuna :) Steak and bass : Right on the money ! All that to say, great restaurant with wonderful service, nothing less should be expected of the Ritz Carlton :) Thank you for reading.

Ty Patricia!

Food is phenomenal. I got invited on a business breakfast here and ever since I keep coming back. The variety of options are incredible, the space is beautiful (indoor and outdoor seating, and the service is great! Thank you Patricia!! See you next week. (Also their French fries are out of this world! Highly recommend)

Pleasantly Surprised

By Tammie B |

The reviews were all over the place and we weren’t sure what to expect. We are staying at the Ritz and this was the easiest option for us so we gave it a try and we’re pleasantly surprised! Stephanie, our server, was very knowledgeable and attentive. Our food came out quickly and was delicious, even the dessert! The restaurant is under new ownership and gaining a new personality. We highly recommend and ask for Stephanie!

A night To Remember

By YourHelpfulWendy |

As I came to this place for an event I got to try the following: Poke tuna: so fresh, the color of this pink tuna was a vibrant pink that called my attention from the moment they took it out. The taste matched the appearance, So Good! Ceviche: was extremely fresh also and the fish absorbed the taste and juices of the lemons in the perfect way. Mac and Cheese: I can believe that the mac and cheese was my favorite dish of the night. So Good. This beautiful restaurant is located inside the Ritz Carlton at the gorgeous Coconut Grove. The bar looks so beautiful and the service of the bartenders is simply amazing. They have a seating area inside and outside. The outside was so pretty and romantic. You can park in the streets and walk to the hotel or simply valet at the hotel.

Disappointing

By Morgan G |

I came for the first time to the restaurant the other day and the experience was not such that I expected from a restaurant within a Ritz Carlton hotel. The service was not up to par, the table wasn’t properly set, it was extremely slow, no timely refills for water. The drinks ordered were dripping from the bottom and got on my boyfriends shirt. I was very excited to come to the restaurant for the first time and I am not sure I am excited to come back, which is a shame since I live very close by.

David’s Espresso Martini is a Must

By Suzanne C |

We stumbled on this restaurant while walking through town. What a gem! The staff was warm & welcoming. The bartender, David, was so friendly and attentive. His espresso martini was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Amazing hidden Gem inside the Ritz Carlton coconut Grove

NOT with the trip

By traveilingirl |

Unfortunately, the 23 minute ride from Miami Beach was not worth our time and money. Toast was hard as a rock, omelette had no cheese (as ordered), had to fill up our water glasses myself (and there was no one else inside the restaurant), and overall attention to detail was completely lacking. Huge waste of money on what I had hoped would be a fantastic brunch on our last day in Miami.

Great restaurant

By Carolina |

I had dinner with 5 friends and was the best ever. Our server, Amit, was amazing. Great food. We will definitely come back.

Very nice reasonable outdoor breakfast

By Christopher L |

I expected to be charged a lot more at a restaurant inside the Ritz Carlton. We had a terrific breakfast at modest pricing. Good service and great food. Pretty courtyard setting. Servers helped each other and all were friendly. My wife had a healthy egg white frittata and I went for the steak and eggs, but both of us cleaned our plates and were very happy we tried breakfast here.

Elegant Madhatter's Sunday Brunch!

By Astrida M |

Last Sunday, we arrived at Isabelle's at 1:15 pm. for our 1:30 pm. reservation to partake in the MadHatter's Brunch. We were really looking forward to seeing some of the characters from Alice in Wonderland at Isabelle's, much like the Snow White characters do at Disney World. However, none of this happened much to our disappointment. We also weren't seated until 2:23 pm. and there were no characters from the Madhatter's Tea Party walking around to entertain the guests! Some of the brunch guests dressed as the characters, so at least we got to experience the charm they brought to the event. The courtyard was beautiful, decorated with plush plants and giant flowers with summer white furniture. It was elegant and we loved it. In keeping with MadHatter's theme, we ordered from Madhatter's menu. My daughter and I both ordered the Queen's Hash, which was simply delicious with the poached eggs, potatoes, onions, and 3 cheese sauce! It does not come with meat, so we ordered a side of bacon. We decided to split the Strawberry & Champagne Pancakes! Omg, those were incredible! Our server was Rumela, who was very attentive, friendly, and hard working. Although she was very busy, she kept a nice smile on her face the entire time. I need to mention that it was a very hot day in the mid-90s, and she was running around from guest to guest constantly. We appreciated her. It is best to pull into the Ritz Carlton Hotel driveway to valet your car. We didn't see any street parking available. It was a nice surprise that Isabelle's validated our parking ticket, and we only paid $10 for valet parking. Thank you.

Amazing food & friendly staff

By TRIPKG |

Staying at the Ritz we ate here 3 times in our 2 days. The food is quality, well prepared and tastes great. The bread served with dinner is incredible. The beet salad was just as delicious as beautiful as the plate looked. My chicken dish was moist & flavorful as we as my partners lamb. And our several Key lime pies tasted during our week in Florida this was one of the best. The atmosphere was amazing outside - inside was just so so. The only complaint is the support staff service was off kilter, removing of finished plates, filling waters & basic bussing was awkward. With several staff standing idle. The servers we had were friendly. I had a great Cadillac margarita which was unknown to the bartender but turned out great, once the Grand Mariner appeared.

Horrible service even by Miami standards

By J S |

One star because I could not give it zero. A business dinner turned into a three and a half hour plus ordeal. Drink order was not taken until 10 minutes after we sat down. Drinks took 30 minutes to be delivered. This theme continued for the entire evening. Waiter was non-apologetic. The restaurant was full but there was absolutely no sense of urgency among the staff. The main course was not served until 2 1/2 hours after we were seated. Food was OK but nothing special. The dressing on the Wedge salad was bland. The Carrot Ginger soup was good. The Kurobuta Pork Chop was a nice cut of meat but was overcooked and the brussel sprouts that came with it were cold and unappetizing. The Atlantic Salmon was good but nothing special. There are many good restaurants in the Grove. Avoid Isabelle's at all cost. The manager did give a large discount off of the check but at that point it was too late to save the evening.

Lovely space, excellent service

By DC_diva_10 |

I visited the restaurant for lunch, service went above and beyond, very attentive and personable. I went with the Miami spice menu and I have to say, very good quality and quite plentiful! I had a LOT of flatbread to take home! The restaurant was reopened a few months ago and they’ve done a fantastic job. Check out the commodore for happy hour, it’s a shared kitchen and they have great apps as well. I would come out even if I am not staying at the hotel!

Disappointed

By Diani B |

We came here for Father's Day brunch. I requested a booth on my reservation (thinking we'd be seated in the main room at one of the pretty green booths in the photos). This request was ignored and we were seated at a table in an awkward separate room next towels and buckets collecting water from the leaking ceiling (it was raining). Our server took quite some time to get to us after we sat, but once he did, he was very kind and attentive. The food tasted okay, but lukewarm at best and most definitely overpriced - not including the $7 valet after validation. Props to our server, but I won't be returning.
