Great spicy chicken ramen. The appetizers are not very good. We sat outside even though it was cold but they are heaters kept us warm.

Jinya has the best ramen I have ever had. The creamy spicy vegan ramen is spectacular, with incredible flavors that you can all up with chili oil. My favorite is to order the vegetarian ramen which comes loaded with broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, spinach and mushrooms, sub the egg noodles for the fat noodles, and get the creamy spicy broth. Service is excellent and they also have meat broth, if that is your thing

Went as part of a meet up group as a Beta Test for a larger group meet up. It was crowded and got seated outside. It was a cold November night but the Staff made sure we were comfortable, and turn on the patio heaters. Staff are very friendly and service was very good despite of how crowded they were. Food was the closest to what I had in Japan. Ordered the Ramen the server recommended and its was very good, diced spicy chashu ramen. Would definitely be back to try other Ramen.

I'm geechee spawn, so I wasn't feeling eating noodles. I had a rice bowl with pulled pork, sticky rice, finely shredded lettuce, summer onions, spinach and a million spoonfuls of the hot sauce that resides on the table. OMG I am drooling just recollecting the experience. I also had pork gyoza, which were the freshest and most flavorful I have ever had. They give you plenty of food; and it's fairly inexpensive. We got 6 adult meals, 2 drinks, and 8 sides of the most delicious brussel sprouts I have ever tasted, for $123

I am bound and determined to find a Ramen that I like. It's no fault of this restaurant I'm just having a hard time finding my groove. My husband ordered chicken fingers which I thought were very good. I order the traditional Japanese Ramen I honestly forgot the name and wasn't crazy about it. But that Ramen egg omg was so good. I also order takoyaki and wasn't a fan but I was excited to finally get to try it. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I wish I could have set were they were cooking but it was packed.

We decided to try Jinya on a Friday night. There was a short wait of about 20 minutes but you have to consider that this location is small. The food was great and it was soothing. I will return!

I haven't eaten in the restaurant but I ordered takeout and it was really good. Sadly, there was a mistake when I picked up my order and I got only one of two bags of the food that I had ordered, so I didn't get everything I wanted. The broth for one dish had to go onto the noodles for another dish, but even then the combination was delicious. I do plan to eat there many more times, so I'll get a better chance to evaluate the food when it's delivered correctly.

We chose the restaurant because it was fairly close to where we were staying & had favorable reviews. It is quite a noisy dining area but we sat at outside - perfect! It is a casual atmosphere with pleasant staff & an interesting menu. My husband had a pork, ramen dish with crispy Brussels sprouts, which he enjoyed. I opted for a small poke dish with salmon, tuna, cilantro, vegetables & rice - delicious! Definitely stop by again if ever we are in that part of town.

Had the vegetable and spicy chicken soup both were tasty. The Brussel sprout tempura is the bomb!!!!

In the mood for ramen and hit up this location. We were seated right away first inside, where we were seated was right under the AC vent and it got cold quick. We were able to be moved outside. Seating was nice but the view is of the parking lot which has lots of traffic. Food is pretty good. The ingredients tasted pretty fresh. Service is solid and attentive. Parking is lot and a chunk of it is sectioned off for valet.

Food - excellent service - excellent price - reasonable ramen at its best restaurant is relatively small and usually very busy

I went in last month with no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to find great service and great food!

When we got there we were told that a table would be ready in five minutes, the staff did not take down our contact although we saw her doing so for some others. Had to wait outside in the sun as we thought it will be only five minutes and the waiting area is packed. We were standing where she could still see us but after fifteen minutes, but she made no attempt to inform us that any table was available. She even walked past us a few times to show people to outside tables. Two groups that came after us got seated almost immediately, so we went back inside to the small waiting area. Ten more minutes passed before we finally checked with her again. She then claimed that she did call out for us but there was no response. Did not even apologize but just say we should understand as it was busy. We were finally seated ouside after another five minutes. After we finished, we asked for the check and our server forgot about it. People who were waiting for the umbrella to be rotated to their table had to suffer for another ten mintues before we asked if we could pay directly at the counter. She too did not apologize for forgetting about the check and just pretended that it was the first time we asked. The food was great, and I would definitely like to visit again but maybe not due to the lack of service.

We decided to make the drive to eat ramen. Let me just say that it was well worth it. The restaurant is small and the parking lot is even smaller when you consider the number of parking spots that are allotted to D. Geller and Son. If you are unsure of what to choose, they have pictures of their most popular ramen. We tried the Jinya #1 and #3. (The Jinya #1 was a little over a $1.50 more, but it came in a bigger bowl and appeared to have more food.) Also, they serve more than just ramen.

Awesome. Service, atmosphere and the food was excellent. Had spicy tuna tacos (yeah baby) and chicken ramen. Noodles were perfect, broth divine. Everything about my lunch today was spectacular. Must go...sorry I waited this long to go myself.

Pretty good ramen. Cha cha cha pork, spicy, extra garlic: enough said! Do not bother with the buns; not the best I've had. Service is a little too slow but I'd go back for the ramen and ignore that bc it's that good.

My experience at Jinya Ramen bar was great. My family and I all loved it. The ramen is the best ramen you can get in Atlanta, and the staff was great. It's just overall amazing. But we got there and the line was 90 minutes long. We questioned if we should go but we said why not. We waited the 90 minutes. The food we thought was worth it.

The ramen here was rich although it was too salty for my taste. It had a good taste, if it was a little less salty I'd give it four stars. The place was lively, and has a trendy feeling to it. I have mixed feelings about going back.

Try this Ramen place....it's adds a different perspective on eating ramen noodles. Always packed, a good indication that it is good. We have been to this place even in the hot summer days and still have to wait for at least 20-45 minutes. I highly recommend at least one visit just to see.... it will be a good place to return to.

My husband and I had an early lunch at Jinya. We arrived around 1100 and were greeted promptly by the hostess. The hostess announced our arrival with a shout in a Japanese, which I later found out meant "Welcome". It was a tool used to alert the staff that a customer had arrived. We were sat and NOT greeted for 5-10 minutes when customers who came in later were greeted by their servers. We asked the hostess and she apologized immediately, and our server came who also apologized. No biggie and slight miscommunication. We ordered appetizers and bowls. Our server was very helpful and offered any help with menu questions. The restaurant was clean and offered a great atmosphere. I think one of the most overlooked qualities about this place is that every menu item has an associated picture, this helps immensely when picking lunch! You can customize almost anything with add-ons. All in all, great experience and tasty ramen!

Good ramen, good portions. A little on the expensive side, but it's the best ramen I've had in town. It's pretty on par with the ramen I've had in Japan. Service is a little inattentive, though, so I can't give a full five stars.

Very small place, fills up quickly. We arrived just as they opened at 11:00. Seating is at tables, or the bar counter. Menu is simple, the ramen is the best!! Some spicy and some not. Appetizers , salads and desserts also . Very enjoyable. Ramen is served in very large bowls and you can get a second helping of ramen noodles if you save some of your broth in your bowl, but we were too filled up from the generous first serving to take them up on the offer.

Great build it yourself ramen. Choose broth type, noodle type and add lots of great toppings. Hot and flavorful. Good selection of sake and Japanese beers. Quick seating if you are early. Lots of young people. Inside is a bit noisy, with lots of hard surfaces reverberating the sound. Outside is quieter, but with the music up too loud. Road noise isn't too bad.

Jinya was highly recommended during a business meeting and I'm so glad we went with the idea. This is the best ramen we've had yet in the Atlanta area. We started out with the deep fried brussel sprouts appetizer and it was amazing. They finish it off with a drizzle of truffle oil that really made a huge difference. If you have a vegetarian guest, like my wife, you will not be disappointed at all, there are multiple options for vegetarians. She likes spicy so she went with the Spicy Creamy Vegan Raman and loved it. I went with the Cha Cha Cha and added some cabbage and mushrooms to the bowl. I love that the toppings are presented separately so you can add them as you eat rather than being piled up on top of your bowl. The broth was simply amazing, so complex and rich and with flavor. It's the broth that makes ramen and this was superb. The place has a very cool, urban vibe and both the wait staff and chefs have a great interaction over the course of the meal. Highly recommend Jinya if you are a fan of ramen. If you've never tried ramen, get over to Jinya and see what you're missing.

The food is good, the ambiance and service are nice. The tables are a bit too close to each other so if for any reason you have to stand up you my wipe your neighbor’s table out.

My daughter said this is her comfort food! We love ramen. However be prepared to wait! We arrived on a Friday night and waited 50 mins for a table. Since we have been to a Jinya we were more then happy to wait and we were not disappointed. Our server was wonderful even though they were completely slammed and was quick to get us appetizers and drinks. The hot ramen was excellent. We will be back.

The food was very good and the service is fast. Even my husband enjoyed it and he is very hard to please.

The food here was delicious! It was only my second time having ramen, and now I'm craving more! We did go randomly on a Wed evening at it was pretty crowded, I think there might have been a wait after we sat down. Will go back for more!

Very pleasant surprise. Excellent dumplings to start, but the Jinya bun was dry. The chicken spice ramen was outstanding, very flavorful broth, good amount of ramen, only suggestion would be to slice or shred the chicken instead of 2 large slices. The chefs special wasn't so special, meatballs had good texture but no taste, good, not great, tomato based broth. Accomodated substituting gluten free rice for noodles. I'd definitely go back.

Food was amazing and service was good but the wait..... the wait was way longer then it needed to be. Potstickers, edamame, noodle bowls all were good. If y’all want good food and want to visit for and hour before being seated this is the place for you.

Forget Pho, hello Ramen. So, so good. Great staff, good quality ingredients, and amazing apps. This is the ONLY restaurant my husband will wait 45 minutes for, its that good. Hate writing this review, since it might encourage others to come here and make the wait longer :-) They are opening a new one in Spring '17 in Buckhead, so maybe that will take the pressure off of this location.

My family and I drove in from Tennessee for a wedding and afterwards searched all around for the best ramen. We ordered to go, got lost, and arrived 2 minutes before they closed. The staff was wonderful even though we were cutting it so close! We got back to the air bnb and opened our food and I can honestly say it was THE BEST ramen we have ever experienced. If you are in this area, definitely stop and experience this place!!!

We, as a family were introduced to real ramen on a recent visit to Asia. We travelled 60+ miles to go here because of the reviews. When we got there at 2pm one Saturday there was a line out the door in the rain and an hourlong wait. We left our name and cell# and drove around. They updated us every 10 minutes about out wait time by text. The food. The ramen base was good. Very slightly tweaked to American taste. The sukiyaki was also westernized. But the taste and texture of the ramen and udon along with the depth of the broth were spot on. Very good prices also. The atmosphere. The place is what it is in Asia. Simple. Efficient. Clean. A greeting when you come in - all the staff greet each customer. In Asia, they also shout out a thanks when you leave. Will be back. Every Costco run will involve a visit here from now on.

I had the vegetable ramen and it was delicious!! The atmosphere is so intimate and the servers are so attentive. We will be back!

I really enjoy ramen, especially here. The flavors are amazing. Every time I get the chicken ramen. You get big portions and the leftover soup in the bowl tastes phenomenal. The only reason why I am giving this place 'very good' is because the prices are a bit high and there limited seating inside. Other than that it's a great place to enjoy great ramen.

We visited Atlanta for a week during Irma. Once we found Jinya, we went there every day. I think this is enough as a recommendation. Great food, great ambiance, great service, and great prices. This is the most authentic Ramen place south of NY City. And they have amazing kid's meal (one of a kind!).

1st time at Jinya, was highly recommended by a friend, he sure was right! My server Corey was amazing he was very helpful, the menu has some wonderful choices so it was very difficult to decide everything sounded so delish. Cannot wait to go back and try everything on the menu . I had Veggie ramen, added pork and spicy bean sprouts Wow. The vegetables were so crunchy and delicious just the right amount of noodles, flavor was wonderful thank you!

Was able to grab a table without a reservation. Came for dinner during the week, for context. Had the pork gyoza, and the chef special, which was a spicy karaage chicken ramen. It really wasn't spicy, so I had them bring me chili oil. The pork gyoza was great though. Service started off good, then tailed off a little bit, as our server just went missing for around 25 minutes. As far as Parking, you might have to park a little ways away as the lot is shared by multiple businesses. It's free though.

This is one of my favorite go-to spots (especially for takeout). The restaurant atmosphere is nice, especially after the renovation / expansion. The food is always delicious. The pork gyozas are great, and I always enjoy the spicy wonton ramen.

Just Wow! Savory spicy chicken noodle Ramen soup. It’s also a hot happening restaurant in Atlanta, so come with time as walk ins have to wait but it’s worth it!

Very relaxed, casual atmosphere and great food. The pork gyoza (potstickers) are incredible and so are the crispy brussel spouts. I could live on those things. I had the Jinya chicken ramen and it was very flavorful and filling. The soup/stock is a bit on the heavier side at Jinya but it's absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. It's a bit pricey but then again, it's in Buckhead.

Husband was dying for his favorite gyoza meal (2 orders please) and I always love to see new things to try. Just like a fun Ramen shop in Hawaii where I used to live.

Mhmhmhmhmhmh! The ramen taste so good that my moith watered when I craved it. Good job making the mouthwatering ramen! seriously good job!

My girlfriend and I stopped in to try the ramen after all the good things we had heard about the place. We also ordered the curry rice dish, the jinya bun and some edamame. It was all okay. The bun was forgetable. The edamame was good. I ordered the black ramen, and it was like I said, just okay. It's a chain, and too big to have something really special. I've lived and worked in Japan, and it's not even close to what you get over there. I wasn't expecting "Japan" good, but with all the hype, I was expecting more. There wasn't anything special about the curry either. It wasn't like any of the curry I've had in Japan. I love all kinds of curry, but this one had a strange spice in it that overpowered the whole dish. I have a general rule about not eating at places where none of the people cooking and serving come from the country whose food is represented on the menu. I'm always disappointed. There are plenty of really good Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and Japanese restaurants to choose from, and all staffed by people who've grown up their whole lives eating the food. Try it if you've never been, and aren't all that concerned about authenticity. I'll try all the others before I ever go back.

We gave this restaurant a try based on previous reviews. Unfortunately, we were kind of disappointed. The base ramen broth wasn't that good. To be honest, we were expecting better quality and taste. If our group, I would say the Black Ramen was the best. Overall ambiance was nice but food taste was just average.

I really enjoyed eating at this restaurant..I wasn't expecting ramen noodles to be so good. The wait wasn't long at all and I went around 530pm... Everything was made to order and hot. I will definitely eat here again.

Excellent hand made Ramen and a wide variety of options on the menu. The restaurant is cozy and family oriented thus has a tendency to be crowded but still comfortable. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food served and the friendly service. Bring an appetite because the serving sizes are very generous.

Perfect gluten free noodle options!! I am so in love. Flavors were excellent and you could create your own. My hubby (not gluten free) could get what he likes and I could get what I needed without compromising on taste. 10/10 recommend.

Up until Tuesday my experience with Ramen was only with the kind that comes wrapped in plastic and bought in bulk but I will never go back. Though I was inexperience our Waiter (JT, I believe) was the best Ramen Sherpa I could have asked for. Everything I ate from the Edamame to the Jinya Bun to the tongotsu black was down right delicious, even the beer selection was great. This place has made a lifelong customer.

I’m still amazed at just how delicious Jinya’s Ramen Bar is!! Our waiter, Brian, was amazing and he perfectly described the dishes. Brian also recommended the Pork Gyoza for starters. He was spot on with his recommendation and we loved everything! I went with the Sprouting Up Ramen and my sister tried the Spicy Chicken, each was full of flavor. We left full and satisfied.

Our go to place whenever we make it to Atlanta! They open at 11 Saturdays and we were outside waiting at 10:40! Perfect ramen! Small place, a bit of a challenge trying to seat more than 4 but they do have patio seating. The garlic broth ramen with extra seasoned eggs.... wonderful!! We always try a new ramen dish but we also always order at least one garlic sauce ramen dish. Worth the wait!

We came here based on previous reviews. We waited for 50 minutes to be seated and ordered pork ramen noodles. It’s a very disappointing experience for us! Noodles are salty, warm ( not hot enough), the quality is very disappointing for the price paid. Won’t come back again.

Our daughter and son-in-law brought us here for lunch and we couldn’t have been more pleased. With all of the add-ons you can do to anything there is a virtually unlimited combination of Ramen bowls you could do. The bowls were huge and it was all delicious. Great food, great service and great cocktails, don’t think I could ask for anything more from this place.

After my average meal last night I wanted something good. I was told about this ramen place and you all know how much I love ramen. This place did not disappoint. Awesome salmon poke tacos. And garlic flavored ramen. Awesome. Will be back.

Lunch in Atlanta today was by far my best of the trip, our server went out her way to find out what was in all the broths for me, I have a fish allergy. The food was absolutely outstanding and can highly recommend it if you appreciate a broth with a lot of depth and great flavor profile.

Really wanted ramen last night. Jinya came through with the best ramen I've had. Ordered the Sprouting Up Ramen. Told my wife about it since she was unable to join me as I am in Atlanta for work. Have been informed that I will be driving my wife the 2.5 hours to get there over Christmas vacation to take her there also.

Met up with a friend and he suggested we try this place. He had been here one time and wanted to give it a go again. Very busy place and it is small too. We only had to wait a few minutes to sit at the bar area. Very good service, food came quickly too. I asked the server to just bring me what she liked best whicn was Tonkotsu Spicy with pork. It was very good. The server also brought extra noodles to finish the bowl of soup. All in all, I liked it. Basically bowls of ramen noodles of different types, with different meats and flavors. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

This place was voted #1, so i had to try it. I came around 4 so did not wait at all, but the place was packed. Sat at the communal table and Herman attended me right away. I decided on the chef's special Tokyo Tonkatsu and as Herman suggested had the gyoza with salad combo. The salad came right away, once I finished it, then came the ramen. Egg, pork belly and just the right size. Added chili, oil and it was great. It did not need it, the flavor was wonderful, but wanted the spice. The gyoza came a bit later and was the perfect compliment. I finished the bowl, not a drop left, it was good. No wonder why # 1. The place is packed but it moves fast.

Come for the food. It’s not a hang around kind of place. All the house specialties are excellent. Get the pork ramen and the pot stickers and do some dipping. The kale and sesame salad is amazing and a bargain at $6.5. You have to wait at any peak period so come and get your name and the list.

I have tried most of the menu and do not have a favorite, because I like them all. If I was pushed to a last meal I would order the Jinya Buns and the Sprouting Up Ramen with extra Pork Chasu.

Enjoyed a great lunch with our 9 year old this past Saturday. Both the food and service were great despite a 20 minute wait to be seated. The wait is totally worth it and is a testament to how good a spot this is.

Always crowded - mixture of singles and families. Kids menu has mix of stuff - about $30 for two bowls of chicken ramen

I get the vegetarian/vegan ramen and my boyfriend gets the chicken ramen. We come here time and time again bc it’s our favorite ramen spot. Must try!

There were six of us, all hungry, thinking of just getting chick fil a instead of waiting 25 minutes, but we managed and patiently waited. Wow! So happy we did! Everything was just deeee licious! You should try their Buns! And the octopus takoyaki (? Sounds like :) ) the ramen can be thick or thin noodles, i loved the thuck ones! Sprouting brussels ramen was my fave! The rice bowls regular size can be shared. Actually the ramen bowls can be shared too! You'll never regret waiting!😀👍

It’s hard to find REAL Japanese Ramen in the USA. But this place ramen was the best so far, I wish I lived in Atalanta so I can eat there every day

A+++ dinner at Jinya! Great variety of soups, salads and small plates. We had the tempura chicken app and the mini tacos to start, then we all had different types of the noodles bowls. All were delicious! And popsicles for desert! We will definitely be back!

Jinya is one of my all-time favorite restaurants! Everything on the menu is amazing - some of my favorites are the California Poke Bowl, Spicy Chicken Ramen, Crispy Chickpeas, & Pork Gyoza. Highly recommend!!

I have lived in Atlanta for some time now and been very disappointed by the overall "foodie" scene - or I should say lack there of. Jinya hit the spot! It was delicious, wonderful value and wonderful atmosphere.. a real dive. The food was plentiful - enough to comfortably split and the line was out the door - always a good sign. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for great food at a good value! Cheers to Jinya Buckhead!

Comparing to Ton Ton Ramen place at Ponce City Market, it is much better. It was pretty warm and tasty. However, comparing to ramen shops in Japan, it wasn't great. I saw a curry rice here, so I will try that next time.

This place rivals any Ramen house in New York. The service is a bit slow when they are busy, but well worth the wait.

We recently tried this place on a Wednesday night. Wait for 45 mins. It well worth it. We ordered Spicy chicken ramen. Broth was super tasty. It is definitely Atlanta's leading Ramen places. Will be there again soon.

The food was very good. I got the Spicy Tonkatsu. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the broth was very good. They do skimp on the meat portion though. Only 2 small slices of pork in the whole bowl. I ordered 2 extra slices of pork to add to it. This is not a cheap lunch option and that is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The ramen itself was $11 and adding anything to your ramen will jump that price up.

I stumbled across this Noodle Bar while needing something at Lowe's (the restaurant is in the right hand corner of this shopping plaza with Lowe's, and Chick-fil-A). I had never been to a Noodle Bar; and was generally interested. I loved my meal! We had a shell fish allergy in our party (and our server, Randy) immediately brought out a chart that told us what noodles were safe to eat. We had a lot of questions concerning the types of noodles, broths, etc - and he was very patient and kind. He made wonderful recommendations for our tastes and likes- and we all loved the outcome or our noodle bowls. We can't wait to try it again!

Before I went vegan, I tried the pork belly ramen from here and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere of the place was also super cozy and trendy at the same time! Service was quick and friendly as well! Highly recommend! Hopefully I can come back as a vegan with some good options too!

A friend asked me to lunch the other day and we went to Jinya. He had been there before but I had not. Another friend joined us there. It is kind of small and tucked away in a corner of a plaza. Two of us had the Wonton Chicken Ramen which I thought was very good. It was not salty as other ramen dishes I have had and surprisingly filling. The hot broth was a warming sensation on a cold day. If you are looking for something different and can use chop stix, give it a try.

Just tried them for the first time and really enjoyed the chicken ramen. Best ramen I have had in a long time. Only issue is that the place is pretty small and the tables are pretty close together.

We went here for lunch and had a little wait because it was quite busy. It was worth the wait. I had Premium Tonkotsu White. It was everything I wanted in my ramen. The broth was very flavorful and it was the right amount of food. We will be going back!

You know you landed at a good place when there is a huge wait and you see a bunch of locals eating here. This was our 1st experience eating at a true ramen shop and it was great. This place has other dishes if you're not into ramen but the main dishes are focused around ramen. We got a few appetizers to start such as the gyoza and the battered/fried Brussels sprouts which were amazing. I got the spicy chicken ramen bowl which I devoured. The good thing I really like about this place is that they will allow you to substitute different toppings/veggies and also different meat choices which is huge with me. We had a great experience and good start to our ramen career.

One of true Japanese ramen you can get in here. Soup are very rich, thick, and umami to taste. Topping to ramen also not too much, not too little. It is nice to have 2 pieces of chashu inside. So I enjoy one at the beginning, and taste another one later when chashu absorb lots of soup in it. Noodle was cooked just right also.

Holy moly, that was awesome... in front out of town, sat at the bar and had the sprouting up served spicy. Both the pork and pork broth are flawless, as are the noodle texture and veggie combo. Can’t recommend highly enough, and really short money for the quality. Enjoy!

But I’m happy to report it was very good. The hostess was quick to seat me, server was on point and did not miss a beat and the food came quick and was amazing! My daughter wants to go to a Ramen Bar and she’s ultra picky. I went first. I think she will be happily surprised. Please go and enjoy.

The best meal that I've had in Atlanta in 30 days here. I've eaten out A LOT during the last few weeks. The most satisfying meal was here. I had Spicy Chicken Ramen and a side of pot stickers. Fantasticand Flavorful brothy goodness and thick noodles. Very Busy, but now I know why. I would wait 45 minutes Everytime for something so good.

I never thought I would ever go to a restaurant and order ramen noodles, but these guys take ramen noodles to another level. You’d think it would be fairly cheap food, but it’s about the same as going to most other restaurants for lunch, but like I said, they take it to another level. They do give you a LOT of food for your money. I’ve been there twice, and I always left stuffed. You can get lots of different combinations of their ramen noodle bowls. I’ve been pleased with both that I’ve tried. The place seems to be really popular, especially with younger adults. My only real problem with the place is that it’s a little small for my liking. Not a lot of dining space. People sometimes sit literally elbow to elbow. They do have a small place to eat outside as well. I do recommend it though. Fun place. Great service. Friendly people.

I love this place. I tried this place with a friend and I thought “ ramen noodles” but omg the place is amazing. It wasn’t a long wait I went during lunch. I had the seasonal special. It’s not there except during s specific period of time. It’s crispy chicken with ramen noodles in chicken seasoning. It had an egg and seaweed and seasoned very well. My friend had the pork seasoning and it was tasty as well but I liked the chicken better. I will definitely be going back again.

You may think it's hard to get excited about ramen, or your mind might go wandering back to those old college days of poverty when a simple microwave meal would cheaply fill your stomach. Get those thoughts out of your mind. You're in for a new experience. Jinya is serving up ramen like it's supposed to be -- that's why it's always packed. Be prepared to wait, but don't leave. It's worth the wait. Try the tempura Brussel sprouts with truffle oil or a pork bun if you must (and they are amazing), but it's not the main event. The main event is the ramen. For my money, it's all about the tonkatsu broth (pork broth). Milky looking with a punch of creamy umami, it's where it's at, flavor-wise. Despite numerous visits, I can't tear myself away from the Cha Cha Cha bowl, which is heavily spiked with garlic and porky goodness. I'm sure there are other great bowls there too (including selections for vegans and veggies), but I'm in love.

This was my first experience at a ramen bar. The atmosphere was great. The waiter was very helpful in going over the menu and explaining things to me. I got the original ramen noodle bowl at his suggestion, it did not disappoint!! The noodles were full of flavor and very hearty. I will definitely return

Had visited once before and couldn't get in for dinner. Came by around 11:45 for lunch and got seated at the "bar." The place is still very busy. The ramen is tasty, the bowls are large, and the selection is pretty large. Tried the jinya bun, which is pork wrapped with a soft bread. Very nice. Unless you're very hungry the ramen bowls are so large they will probably be enough. I had fried chicken strips on my ramen (I think 3) and 2 were very good and one was very grissly). Lunch for 2 without drinks was $40 plus tip. Not a cheap lunch. Fun place. Plan to get there early or wait. Other locations are opening (like Alpharetta). Is it a chain?

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. I love their octopus balls and Tonkotsu black ramen. I usually add 1 more seasoned egg and spicy bean sprouts on the sides. Their ramen broth is so yummy 🤤🤤🤤. The place can be super busy!!!

Wife heard about this place from her co-workers, we decided to give it a try. Place was very busy (20 Minute wait) but worth it. We both enjoyed dinner and have already made plans to return with our daughter.

I met some friends here for dinner after work, and after a short wait we were seated and our order was taken promptly. I was going to order the regular chicken ramen, but my friend talked me in to the chef's special. It was so good. I'm usually a little weary of getting something spicey, and this dish had chili sauce in the broth, but it was a flavorful spicey. This is definitely not your $0.30 ramen from Walmart, once you have this you'll never go back.

If you've never had ramen before, I recommend this place as a starting point. The ramen is very good and highly customizable (they have a list of toppings that can be added to any ramen order). I personally love the spicy tonkotsu, and sometimes I'll order a Jinya bun or gyoza as an appetizer and some mochi ice cream for dessert. I would also highly recommend trying one of their import beers - they have a nice, unique selection and I haven't tried one yet that I didn't like.

The creamy garlic vegan ramen is honestly the best thing I ever ordered. Simply delicious. Great place

Who knew you could get great, tasty ramen in the middle Sandy Springs?! And if you've never had real ramen, creamy and cooked for more than a day, then you really have to try it!

We were very pleased with all of the food, and not just the Ramen, but also the sides and appetizers. Everyone who worked there seemed very friendly, and they all seemed happy to work there, which says alot about management. We liked the pork broth better than the chicken broth, but both were good.

Stop in for some Ramen. Heard so many people speak of how good the Ramen and was tired of Thanksgiving leftovers. We shared the Spicy Chicken Ramen and the Sprouting Up Ramen. Both were good but we enjoyed the Sprouting Up Ramen the best.

Been to too many Ramen places to mention but this is one of the better ones in the Southeast especially if you can’t make it down to Florida. Been at Jinya 3 times over a few years and they’re still cranking it out so you know they have the right formula! Pay close attention to what kind of noodles they use in the dishes bc some use the thicker noodles (traditional) and a slightly thinner one that has a different texture than the normal one. You will also try their Gyoza, Chicken Kara Age (fried chicken nuggets) and the pork buns! I had the Spicy Tonkotsu which had the thick pork broth but when you ask for it spicy it gets so much thicker! Umami Miso also was very tasty! Get there if you like Ramen and good service!

Had an early dinner here today. Tried this place for the first time. It's a small place so there can be waiting. We were early so got a table immediately. Our server was so sweet and friendly. We loved the jinya pork bun! Oh goodness, so delicious! Ordered two more to go. The salmon avocado appetizer was great too. The grapefruit beer was yummy. We had the sprouted tonkotsu ramen and it was awesome! We asked for it to be made a little spicier and that hit just the hit spot. It had brussels sprouts in it and I am no fan of brussels sprouts but they went down well with the ramen. All in all, fantastic place!

It was DELICIOUS! I’ve never had Ramen quite like this! I will never look at Ramen like this again! Will definitely be back!

Take out. Ordered 4 bowels. Got home opened bag. Only two. Called store and they asked me to bring back bag. Why? My kids were already eating. They asked me to come back. Drove back. No apology. Should have comped the $50.00. Soup and noodles were just okay. My Chinese restaurant does a better ramen. Not going back and pissed. What restaurant doesn't apologize at a minimum?

Just did take out because place in Sandy Springs is very small and was an hour wait for a table. The chicken appetizer along with the pork and the shrimp noodle bowls were amazing!

Large portions, delicious food with lots of options to spice up the ramen. Service was wonderful, friendly and helpful.

Some of the best ramen I've ever had. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also our last meal in Atlanta before we left and it was def worth it. Soooooo good

Been here a few times, and we have never been disappointed. We like it so much, that we chose to eat in the outside patio while it was raining! They do have umbrellas and there's nothing like eating hot soup on a rainy night! Service was always fast and great! They are always packed here, so you expect service to suffer, but it doesn't! This place is tiny and as soon as you open the door, you are greeted with a smile! Our last server, Bilby, did a pretty good job considering it was raining! Got our orders quickly before it rained harder, and got the food out to us even quicker! We've had a lot of their different ramen, and we have nothing negative to say. My favorite though is the Cha Cha Cha Ramen! It's a garlic lovers dream!!!! Creamy soup with perfectly cooked noodles. A friendly advice, use their sauces!!! One adds more flavor and the other one adds spice!!!! This spot is definitely in our dining rotation!

We had a 30 minute wait on a Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The fried brussel sprout were excellent. Tokyo curry rice was delicious. Cha cha cha meal was completed devoid of salt so add the seasoning sauce.

I’ve been to just about every Ramen place in Atlanta on a mission to find the best bowl, and yesterday I found it here. The pork broth is amazing! So rich and complex. Noodles were perfect, seasoned soft boiled egg was incredible. Gyoza were some of the best I’ve ever had too. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I can’t wait to go back!

My wife took me to Jinya for a Valentines day lunch. What an awesome experience. Food. We had two different types of Ramen bowls. Both were full of flavor. The taste was great. The portions are significant, so you will not leave hungry even if you have a big appetite. There are tables both inside and outside and the bar area is very comfortable. I am going back there for sure. Practical tips : The restaurant is adjacent to Lowe's, it is located in the corner of the shopping center. If you are traveling through Atlanta it is worth making a stop. The place is approximately 1 mi north of I 285 on Roswell Rd. The restaurant is relatively small and very popular. If you go there for lunch, I would recommend going very early, or after 1pm to avoid waiting and to be able to find parking.

What an experience. From entry to exit the experience was super positive. Sitting at the end of the "assembly Line" of bowls we got to see the love the cooks put into the assembly of each dish. It was amazingly good food and drink. So many Asian and Asian American customers it was plain to see why. The food was amazing and the atmosphere so friendly and fun.

Went to a concert and the band mentioned eating at a ramen place and my son wanted to try it. We found Jinya and we pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff to help with your choices and everything was good. Large servings that filled you up. Would eat there often if we lived closer.

Try the ramen with Brussel sprouts! They add an interesting taste to the bowl. I really enjoyed it. Service is fast and efficient. Prices are reasonable. It is always packed so you may need to wait to seat.

The Food. Fantastic. My choice was Tonkatsu Ramen with the thick noodles, and medium spicy. Broth had a nice kick to it and sweated a little eating it. Whole meal was incredibly flavorful and filling. My +1 had the Shrimp Wonton Ramen, they had to substitute chicken broth, but it was really good too. Both of us were happy with our meals. Forgot how good fresh ramen tastes. Atmosphere. Very nice interior with bar, indoor and outdoor seating options. Busy inside with good size Wednesday lunch crowd. This time we ordered to go, and great packaging of our orders. Called ahead with easy prompt correct ordering.. Friendly hostess for our pick up order. (Note: Before covid, always enjoyed eating inside at the Sandy Springs location.) Sandy Springs location is in very busy "mall" area. Lots of traffic and free parking. Be careful driving around here. Definitely worth the trip.
Fantastic Ramen!!
What a great find this was for me. I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Clairmont Ave and was looking for something special around the area. I figured since I didn't have a car that I'd go find the nearest Ramen place and bring back some food for later. Boy was I lucky that the highest rated ramen place was so close to my hotel. Jinya is located in a strip mall and can be easy to miss. Their front door opens to the parking. When you get inside, you get a very modern look. People greet you immediately asking you whether you'd like to eat at the bar, a table or the ramen bar. At the end of the day, it totally doesn't matter where because the food will be equally amazing! Unlike most other ramen places where there are a limited number of ramen choices, Jinya actually has quite the selection. I was immediately instructed to try the tonkotsu ramen black (skip the white!) which comes with all the toppings you'd expect, nice thick rich fatty soup with a soft boiled egg. You get several pieces of cha siu as well. Delicious! Don't forget the Jinya (pork) bun as well as the chicken bun (my favorite!). They apparently do a lot of to go orders so I went ahead and got myself a second serving of Tonkotsu black to go! While not as good when it's served fresh in front of you, it was still super tasty taking it home. Man, now I think I have to move to Atlanta just for this place. If you're in the area, this is a must try. Believe me, there are few other places here in the US that I've been to that really matches the flavor they have here. Well done!
