Good, authentic flavors and plenty of creative dishes on the menu. They can prepare most dishes for vegetarians too. We left happy and satisfied.

Had a delicious lunch with my family. The food was flavorful and generously portioned, with really fresh ingredients. Just know that the menu is a little limited (not one of those menus where you can pick from 1,000 things), but you can trust that everything on the menu will be yummy. I was really impressed by the quick, pleasant service and the waitress was great at checking in on us (but not making us feel rushed)

We had a lovely meal for 4 after a Sunday afternoon show. Super food and service! The appetizer trio with crispy duck salad, filet and a shrimp spring roll with a nice cilantro sauce was great. Great curry puffs, Drunken noodles with shrimp (just the right amount of heat), Pad See Ew with beef and dessert! Very reasonably priced.

The service was good, food was okay though. The Padthai had chewy noodles and green curry chicken was extremely salty... seemed salt was added twice. Cannot say food was YUMMY. I was thinking of ordering a dessert but then thinking of my experience changed my mind and ended up at another recommended place for dessert and was pleased that I did so.

My friends and I were in town on a Saturday for several events of the Philly Fringe and found JJ Thai amongst many other eateries in the area. It was pleasant and welcoming enough at moderate cost with good food being served. One could almost forget the excellent service because it was so well done but in a very understated way. The food, especially the salmon was beautifully presented, and the spicing, somewhat hot for some of the dishes, was thoughtfully well done.

During a business trip to Philadelphia, I decided to seek out a Thai restaurant. My hotel was close to Chestnut St, and I wandered over to JJ Thai Restaurant. It's a small, intimate sort of place. Very pleasant atmosphere. It was nice and quiet - at least until a table of six sat down next to my table. Maybe one or more of them were hard of hearing. I was really torn between a crispy basil duck and a salmon dish. Finally decided based on salmon probably being healthier than duck. The salmon was really delicious. Don't doubt that the duck would be too. Servers were very fast, courteous, and attentive. I'd have no qualms about recommending this restaurant. In fact, I was hoping to return the following night, but I was with a group that had different preferences. Had hoped I might try the duck. Another trip, I guess.

Our quartet on a breezy Sunday in the mid-afternoon, just after the restaurant opened for the day. Service was very pleasant throughout, and we had plenty of personal space in our comfortable booth. We opened with the player of 4 (fried) vegetable spring rolls, which was served with a tangy red sauce, and gots nods of approval from all four of us. For our mains, we decided to each pick a dish and share them, family style. All were excellent, but special props must be given to the Chilean sea bass, which was superb. It was a large piece of fish, perfectly cooked to tender excellence, and throned stop crunchy and chewy veggies under a light soy-based sauce. The three other dishes, pad Thai, red curry and green curry, are staples of most Thai kitchens, and the dishes we were served were as good as any that our quartet had before. It was the perfect amount of food for us (the dishes arrived with 3 small bowls of rice), and we left very, very satisfied, and looking forward to our return visits.

Called in without a booking. The place was almost full but we managed to get a table by the window. First surprise it’s a BYOB so quick dash to shop across road for Budweiser. Ordered mix starters lovely and tasty. For mains Kathy has Crusted Sea Bass - the best she has ever had served with gorgeous vegetables Steve had a lovely chicken green curry crammed with tasty vegetables Servers so friendly and efficient Total price was so low for a fabulous meal

What a nice surprise! We wanted a BYOB restaurant on New Year's Day and decided to give this a try. We had a duck salad, an outstanding Salmon special prepared with a green curry, lamb chops, and traditional red curry. All were fresh and delicious!! And the menu had some unusual dishes (not on most Thai menus) that made it a challenge to decide what to order. The servers were super!! I strongly recommend this restaurant if you like Thai food!

We live in the neighborhood and JJ Thai is one of our favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. The food is consistently excellent, service is also excellent, and prices are quite reasonable. As a bonus it is a BYOB. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

This is the third Thai restaurant in this space on the 2000 block of Chestnut Street in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philadelphia, and this one is head and shoulders above the others. We have had dinner there several times. I haven't been there for lunch. The food here can best be described as Thai-French fusion and we have been very pleased with our experiences the four times we have had dinner here. The chef/owner is obviously skilled. Their website says they use only local, fresh products and that has been our experience. I really like their Tom Kha Gai coconut milk soup. Theirs is among the best I've had. I also enjoy their Pad Thai and a grilled salmon dish served with sauteed spinach, chopped scallop, shallot marsala cooking wine and garlic sauce). I ask for the salmon well done and it always is. For $22, this was a very good value. It is served with a sticky white rice. On our last visit, I took half my entree home. My husband enjoys their Massaman Curry which is described as Rabbit Massaman on the menu. They had no problem when he asked to substitute chicken for the rabbit. Our last visit was with a work colleague visiting from Israel. He ordered a grilled seafood platter that was one of the specials. He was very pleased with the taste and presentation. It had salmon, scallops, shrimp and mussels. This is a "storefront" restaurant, but it is very nicely decorated and the tables are set with tablecloths and candles. Service was just the right amount of attentive and the waitress (who I think might be a family member) has recognized us every time since our first visit. Maybe the best feature for us (being of a certain curmudgeonly age) is that the restaurant is quiet enough to permit conversation in normal tones. Therefore, it has become our "go to" restaurant in our neighborhood for when we are eating with other people. This restaurant is BYOB, so if you want alcohol, you have to bring it and they will provide glasses, a corkscrew and a cooling bucket if you want one. This also helps to keep prices reasonable.

Not Great - DOES NOT SERVE ANY ALCOHOL - Arrived 45 min before close and they made it clear we needed to hurry - Last call for the kitchen is 30 min before close - No alcohol, beer or wine but you can bring your own - Pad Thai was very good - Crispy duck salad was delicious - Shrimp/mushroom soup wasn’t very good - Lamb lollipops were over cooked and tough. They refused to cook more for us. Told us we should’ve known to ask for temperature before they cooked them. Seemed very annoyed that we didn’t want them. - They do not have the traditional Thai Spice tray.

I was in the mood for some good Thai food but didn't want to go to my usual place, so my daughter suggested we try JJ Thai during restaurant week. We needed a late reservation, which they were able to accommodate even though the Restaurant Week menu was four courses and we all ordered various offerings. Every dish was flawlessly presented and so well done that you I may never return to my former Thai place. The staff were all so attentive and sweet (although on that evening there was only one other medium sized group when we arrived.) The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. I hope that their business picks up so that I'll be able to go here again and again.

Everything I’ve had heard is so tasty! I have taken family, work colleagues & my friends here over the past 4 years. The Shrimp Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are very tasty. Their fried ice cream dessert is fun to share. Highly recommend. Staff is attentive & friendly. Prices reasonable. What’s not to love? I could eat here once a week.

Food was nice but I can't see how this is 2nd best place to eat in Philly (as per TripAdvisor at time of writing). Duck ravioli appetiser was delicious although the garnish provided an odd texture. The tamarind crispy duck was initially tasty but the sauce soon became too sweet (and I have a sweet tooth). I did not enjoy the deep fried sweet potatoes & eggplant. Instead, it should have come with some fresh veg, broccoli or mangetout, to counter the sweetness. The Duo of ice cream dessert was delicious, especially the salt caramel. The service was good; quick and friendly. In fact, almost too attentive; practically every time I had a sip of water, they topped it up. I also didn't like that they asked me to keep my cutlery back after the appetiser, especially given the cursory table wiping on my arrival. The decor was nice. It was fairly expensive.

Best Thai food in Philly? Not sure, but certainly up there. I haven't had better. A bit cramped, but delicious food and good service. BYOB. We drank almost 4 bottles of wine (party of 4) and were not rushed. Left a nice tip.

had dinner here on Sunday night. It was a spur of the moment. Glad we choose to eat here. The money pouch and the duck ravioli appetizers where fantastic. The salmon, pad Thai and driven noodles for dinner were right on. Our desserts were totally taste bud fulfilling.

I wasn’t very hungry but needed something cold. So I ordered the Duo. It was mango ice cream and salted caramel ice cream. Fantastic. I wish I had had the opportunity to return since if the desserts were that good, I probably would have enjoyed the entrees A white tablecloth type of Thai restaurant. Easy walk from the museum

My Favorite Thai restaurant is about 10 minutes away from me so when we were travelling to Philly to see a show-found this place-is was very good food-just not as authentic as I thought would be-

It's snug space notwithstanding, Asian cuisine couldn't be better anywhere in Philly. Lunch specials, served with soup or salad, are creative & nicely priced & appetizers, such as delicate lettuce cups stuffed with spicy chopped chicken, are tantalizing. It's BYOB & several diners at a nearby table had thought ahead to bring bottles of cold beer, a perfect compliment to the delicately spiced dishes.

I've been to JJ Thai often and have always had a great meal, whether at lunch or dinner. It is a testament to the chefs that I keep coming back even though I hate BYOB (I don't want decide what I'm drinking before I know what I'm eating). The last time I was there I had a short rib entree that was so flavorful, so beautifully prepared, and so unique that I don't know when I'll have the courage to eat short rib anywhere else. Their curries are terrific and the "moneybags" are a must. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, reasonable prices. Now, if only they would put that short rib on the regular menu and get a liquor license, my happiness would be complete.

I usually judge a Thai restaurant by how their Pad Thai Noodles taste. I met with a friend who read good reviews about JJ's. We both ordered Pad Thai one shrimp & one chicken. We asked for lime to accompany the meal but the very attentive server stated they only had lemon. Upon hearing that I already knew this wasn't going to be a great lunch. I was right. They were unable to get the right combination of tangy sweetness to make the sauce worthwhile. Also the tofu was a miniscule amount & it was diced which I never saw before. The lunch came with either a salad with peanut dressing or pureed mushroom soup. Both were very good. This was a clean establishment in a great location & had a decent amount of people there for lunch. The menu had a variety of items with appropriate pricing. I would recommend trying lunch here, but maybe order something other than the Pad Thai.

I stopped here for lunch on a one day business trip to Philly. What a GREAT PLACE for Thai food. The luncheon prices are v reasonable (($10-11) for an entree w salad or soup included. Service was polite and v fast. I had Drunken Noodle w chicken and it was superb!! I would definitely come here again.

The restaurant is simply awesome: delicious food, good service, well décor and pleasing atmosphere! The menu is simple but hidden with the Thai blends with French secret recipes. The well selected meats, quality ingredients plus JJ’s own recipes make the food outstanding and delicious. Savory grill lambs and ducks, well garnish and delicious sweet desserts, we will sure come back for more food. We really enjoy the following food for our meal. Appetizer: Curry Puffs, Chicken Satay Entrée: Rack of Grill Lamb, Pan Seared Duck Dessert: Poached Pear with Ice Cream, Coconut Rice with Mango

Went for lunch , stopped in based on good reviews online. Food was fresh and came quickly. Recommend the pad Thai, chicken satay and asparagus soup for sure. Would eat here again.

Had dinner here on Saturday night. This a real gem of a restaurant. The food was simply outstanding. We started with Duck Salad and Thai Lettuce Wraps. Everything was so fresh tasting with flavors that were a treat to the palate! The appetizers were followed by Steak Au Poivre, Crispy Pork Tenderloin over Spinach in a Thai Peanut Sauce, Duck with Pineapple, Basil and Curry and a Shrimp Curry. This was all capped off with a delicious Creme Brulee! I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this. Great food, great service and it's a BYO! What's not to like. We will definitely be back again!!

We went back to JJ Thai again and have more food. We like its unique flavor; their food is so delicious!!! We unable to find the same food any where else. Must try: Mushroom soup Salmon Scallops Desserts: Mango with Sticky Rice Poach Pear with Ice Cream

We came here on a Wdnesday evening for dinner. I would recommend reservations as it gets crowded. It is a BYOB. I had the escargot as an appy, and it was delicious. It is served sizzling with a small loaf of bread. My entree was a special of the day - soft shell crab in garlic sauce. It was very good. My husband had the lamb chops to start. They were two to the order and he thought for $14.00, it should have been three. He thought they were OK. He had the seabass for an entree. He , again, just thought it was OK, but I tried it and thought it was very good. The service was not very friendly and hard to find when we needed a bottle to be opened. We will be back because we live very close, but we will not rush back.

Great little place. Fast service, great food and decent prices. Definitely worth stopping in for a tasty inexpensive quick lunch. I can be a bit loud and the tables are packed in close to each other.

We came here for the first time last week. We have eaten at a number of other Thai restaurants in Philadelphia, but this is now our new favorite. Pad Tai as excellent. Lamb chops were very good, though a little overcooked. (I forgot to ask for medium rare.) The best dish was one of the specials for the evening- pan-seared salmon with green-curry and shrimp. Just wonderful

We love Thai food! J.J. Has amazing appetizer and our crispy duck entree was excellent!!! Initially concerned they were under staffed but they handled it . We will be definitely going back

Having lived in Asia several years, including Thailand, I am a big fan of good Thai food. The chef and co-owner of this restaurant was a sous-chef at a renowned NJ Thai Rest and, when she moved to PA, I had to visit her new place and try some of her new creations. JJ Thai Cuisine has all of the elements covered: nice ambiance, great service and excellent food. I requested several dishes such as the mussels, Larb Gai, Stewed Pork, among others and every single one of them had the right balance of flavors, texture and presentation. Did I mention excellent service? This place is a “must” if looking for excellent Thai cuisine, good service, and fair price in Philadelphia.

Consistently delicious food. I discovered this restaurant when I returned from Florida during the pandemic. I was staying in a condo on Chestnut Street. They only had takeout. I now enjoy dining there for great food, service and reasonable prices.

Great casual Thai BYO restaurant in Central Philadelphia. We had soups, salmon and chicken - all delicious. Good prices.

The ambience is pleasant when you arrive, and a bit noisy from happy eaters. The waiter helped me to choose from the menu. I got the mussels for an appetizer, and the drunken noodles with shrimp for the main course. The waiter said that the two dishes complemented each other well. He was absolutely correct! The mussels were succulent, in a flavorful broth of diverse and delicious spices. I saved the fresh basil from this appetizer, and put it on my drunken noodles! This dish was fascinating--the shrimp had a flavor different from the wide noodles and lettuce, but both flavors worked well together. This is clearly superb Thai food. Total bill, with tip, about $34. Well worth it!

We went here for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was great (enjoyed the Pa Thai). The service and price were also good.

It was a farewell dinner for my uncle leaving Philly for Manhattan so we decided to check out this new restaurant. Decor was a big upgrade from the previous establishment giving it a very clean and warm ambiance. Staff was friendly accommodating our party of 8. Appetizers were great; dumplings, lettuce wrap, papaya salad, Tom yum soup. Duck ravioli stands out among the rest. Main courses were right on. We had Pad Thai, beef bourguignon, duck curry, grilled salmon, drunken noodle and fried rice (not on the menu but they made it anyway). Highlight of the night were steak au poivre and lamb rack; Fabulous! Deserts, we were expecting creme brûlée but they had limited selections. Sticky rice and mango, affogato and fried ice cream were great.

This is my goal to place when I am in the mood for Thai food. Always outstanding and quality high. Drunken noodle and their soup are superior. Must stop if you are in the area....byob is a plus!

BYOB with quality offerings. The Lemongrass soup rocked and the Curry dishes had just the right spice level, quaint room.

Staff is impec. Friendly but not fake as americans. BYOB with no extra tax, place is very cosy. Excellent location..... Ribs were fantastic, green curry and massaman curry, they were all great. Enough for two.

Great vegetarian options, delicious noodles, all relatively inexpensive. I suggest the spring rolls as an appetizer.

Good Thai food, informal setting, very friendly staff. Vegetarian options. Safe neighborhood. Good for families

Had read past reviews and decided to finally try it - I have been to BKK and PHK three times over the past 2 years for biz and pleasure so know a little about Thai food. I expected more of a trditioanl Thai expereinbce and they dd have some traditional dishes - the soups, some of the noodles dishes and the red/green curry dishes. After that it was mostly more of a goyurmet French feel to the menu - escargot, steak au poivre etc. I had the traditional dishes - Tom Yum Goong, Pad Thai and The Duck curry - all dishes were delicious....the Tom Yum was different from what i get in Thailand in that all the items you cant eat were actually strained from it - the brother was more red than a traditional and more of a fish stock taste to it rather than coconut milk but was qute good - their interpretation. The Pad Thai was one of the best I have ever had - the duck was delicious. Service was good and for the most part attentive (had to ask for serving sppons as we were sharing the dishes and they knew that). Cappucino was excellent. Would have liked to have seen more "traditional" dishes on the menu - pineapple seafood rice, or Pla Rad Prik as most of the dishes were more alonf a Thai French fusion, but a really really nice menu and in my opinion reasonable for the quality of the food. Very nice ambience as well. Great find. BYOB.

Horrible and unforgettable customer service. We were group of 8 adults and 1 infant for a birthday celebration. Made a dinner reservation days ago but upon arrival, we understand we were late for 15mins, but why the staff needs to in a very impolite way to told us if we can't finish our dinner within an hour and half, they will not serve us. We immediately change restaurant. This is very unprofessional and the staff was rude.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The food is excellent, the service good, the price right (it's a BYOB). The food is by no means your standard Thai cuisine; it's a wonderful combination of Thai and French. The sauces were excellent, not something you'd expect in a Thai restaurant. You know as soon as you see the menu that this is different: boeuf bourguignon and a rack of lamb are not normally on Thai menus in the US (I can't speak for Thailand). The chef is using first-class ingredients and it shows. We had the duck ravioli, which was quite wonderful; a duck salad, which was so filling that I could have stopped there but didn't; a delicious salmon dish served on a bed of spinach with a wonderful sauce (a large portion), and a moist chicken (1/2 free-range chicken) dish served with sticky rice, asparagus, and mushrooms. Given the quality and portion size, prices are excellent. Service was good. This is a new restaurant that is offering something very delicious than your standard-issue Thai food that has become ubiquitous in Philadelphia. I certainly hope they make it.

The food and the service was excellent. I had the curried salmon and it was delicious. I will definitely going back.

This is my second visit. Weirdly, I reviewed it the first time a year ago or so, but I never hit submit. The review was here as a draft, and it was five stars. Tonight's dinner was also five stars. Everyone was happy enough with the food. My grilled squid dish was WONDERFUL. I was nervous when they brought a sharp knife, but there was no need at all for a knife. The restaurant may be a bit noisy. The menu is interesting and goes beyond the standard Thai dishes. I would happily eat here again.

Very sophisticated preparation and presentation. The chef clearly has been trained and is able to blend traditional Thai with a continental touch. Favorites: tom yum soup with shrimp; stuffed pouches; duck salad; rack of lamb; pork roast; red chicken curry; grilled seafood platter (best for splitting); tuna..

Wonderful selection, with seafood special being very good. I enjoyed the crispy salmon on lettuce. Delicious. Good service in a calming atmosphere.

Much seating inside and four tables outside. Recommend reservation. Great papaya salad plus seasonal special of roast mushroom. Many tables appeared to bring their own alcohol.

We just happened to walk by the restaraunt and were so glad we stepped in. The food was delicious. I ordered the drunken noodles and my husband ordered the Basil chicken. Both were delicious. The corn soup was surprisingly spicy, in a good way. It was an unexpectedly cool day, and the warm soup was much appreciated. We will definitely be going back.

I usually do not give 5 stars, but after 2 meals, JJ Thai is very close to that number. Maybe 4.5 or 4.75 would be appropriate but I would like to tell diners that this restaurant is a step above most good Thai eateries. A 4 star rating would not be fair. It is Thai with French technique and some French influence on the dishes, including some non-Thai Dishes. The presentation and the blend of flavors are wonderful. Decor: simple, very clean and pleasing to the eye. Bathrooms are SPOTLESS. Service: pleasant, informative, eager to please. One of the servers, Tipi (I think that is how it is spelled), engaged in conversation, was happy to explain the dishes. She was very graceful and very helpful. Food: Everything we had was delicious. I especially liked the money pouches (crispy pastries filled with pork and shrimp). They were not mushy as some pouches are. They had a very tasty filling that had a nice meaty texture. They came with a spicy plum sauce. I had 3 orders of this tasty app. so far. The mussels were fresh small mussels in a spicy sauce with lemongrass, chili and basil, onions, green and red peppers. The duck ravioli were outstanding, meaty and served in a veal demi-glace. Terrific. The sauce was absolutely tasty. I ate the last drops of the sauce with a spoon. The shrimp and taro dumplings were better than most dumplings. They were firm, meaty and delicious. Came with a simple soy dipping sauce. The creme brulee was very French and flavorful. There was nothing that I would complain about, especially the food. JJ, the chef and owner, knows how to cook and is willing to go outside the box. Some vegetarians have complained that there are not enough veggie dishes on the small menu. If you tell the servers, they will guide you to all the dishes that can be vegetarian and even suggest dishes not on the menu(fried rice). If you want very spicy, tell the servers. For people living around 20th and Chestnut, be it Rittenhouse or Fitler Squares, take a short walk and enjoy a lunch or dinner. It is byob, so bring a wine or two.

Dined with friend here over the weekend, and couldn't be more pleased with this little spot. We ordered several appetizers, and they were all great--mussels, lamb lollipops, and chicken satay skewers. Those in my party who had the Pad Thai raved that it was the best they'd ever had, and the two of us that had Red Curry shrimp and beef devoured our dishes, as well. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert. The prices here are great, as is the service. And as an added bonus, it's a BYOB!

What a lovely little restaurant with fabulous service. We were greeted with a beautiful smile and seated immediately. We were given iced water and from that point on, our glasses were constantly topped up. We were served the complimentary soup that comes with the entree. Today was Tomato. Absolutely delicious. We then shared the curry puffs, omg, the freshest, most delicious morsels! We then chose Chicken pad Thai, well it was the best we have had (and we eatThai food a lot). We can’t praise the food & service highly enough. Thank you from two Aussie’s that we’re craving Thai food in the States. ☺️

Everything I’ve had ordered is so tasty! I have taken family, work colleagues & my friends here over the past 4 years. The Shrimp Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are very delicious. Their fried ice cream dessert is fun to share. Highly recommend. Staff is attentive & friendly. Prices reasonable. What’s not to love? I could eat here once a week. Also a byo & there aren’t many in this part of Phila

If you haven't discovered JJ's in Philly you need to check it out! The staff were above and beyond. The atmosphere was a little noisy but that was cool, and the food was amazing. They seem to add something that kept us up all night (maybe some kind of flavor enhancer?) but that didn't ruin the experience! We took in our own bottles of wine and that made the overall prices even better. If I lived there I would go back regularly!

Incredibly tasty food reasonably priced. Very good and swift service. Extensive menu with each dish having distinctive flavors

I always went there for lunch when I was working in the city. They have great food and the staff is very nice. Loved the pad se ew.

We have been here twice and I would come here frequently if I lived closer. The staff is so friendly and attentive. They let you know if the sauces are spicy or not and make an amazing Thai Iced Tea. I've had the Drunken Noodles my husband has had the Grilled Chicken Som Tom a friend had the Duck Noodle Soup and another friend also had the Drunken Noodles. Every time we are there we leave stuffed the portions are perfect. Every meal we've had there has been delicious. If you are in the mood for Thai food and looking for a great place to stop I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food! Everything we ordered was amazing. Service is friendly and efficient. And for CC Philly, prices were quite reasonable. Being a BYOB makes it even better. Our first time there…My highest recommendation! 5 stars!!!

We had a very nice dinner here. Outstanding dishes were short rib curry and salmon green curry. And a wonderful spare rib appetizer. Others at our table were generally happy with their more standard Thai dishes. Service was fine. Only issue was that the place was pretty noisy. But food rules, and the food was fine.

We stopped in here for lunch after visiting the Mutter Museum and it was delicious. I had the Pad Gra Paw, my husband had the Drunken Noodles, and we split a spring roll appetizer. Everything tasted fresh and it wasn't outrageously priced like some Thai places tend to be. The restaurant itself was very clean an nicely decorated and the staff was attentive. I'd like to try it for dinner sometime.

What an experience! JJ Thai set my taste buds abuzz. The food is traditional Thai presented in a thoroughly modern way. There were 4 adults and 1 kid (4 years) in our party. We got apps (chicken lettuce wrap, lamb lollipops, spring rolls) and mains (red curry, green curry, drunken noodle, and a scallop dish) from the regular and specials menus. Every dish was so very good. I am confident that you cannot go wrong with any dish on the menu. The servers were warm and attentive. I was afraid that the place would not be kid friendly, but I couldn't be more wrong. They were very welcoming of my daughter and engaged with her right away. Two quick tips: 1. Remember it's BYOB. They are happy to uncork your wine, etc. 2. The food was pretty mild (in terms of heat). Be sure to request spicy, if that is what you want. I like spicy but I did not miss the heat because the food was so flavorful. Others in my party wished the food was spicier.

We made a 7:00p Tuesday night reservation recently and were seated promptly upon our arrival. Initially the restaurant was quiet but by 7:45 the place was packed. Our party of three enjoyed their food. We shared a couple of apps: shrimp dumplings were excellent and our lettuce wraps were just ok. Entrees: Pork with peanut sauce, Drunken Noodles with Shrimp and Scallops with Spinach were all excellent. The restaurant has an interesting variety of Thai and Fusion entrees. As the restaurant filled up the noise level was high but bearable (restaurant is relatively small). BYOB is nice and it is a very good restaurant that and we will definitely be back. If you want intimate dining with a quiet atmosphere, this is not the place. If you want excellent food and are not concerned with a little noise, then this place is for you. I would have given the 5th star but for the noise level.

We had another super meal at J.J. Thai. I had the veggie spring roll and the salmon curry. My husband had shumai and the wild boar. The service is always friendly and efficient. We went on a rainy day and thought it wouldn't be that full--but it was packed! Good for them.

Our family loves Thai food. JJ Thai Cuisine is delicious and BYOB. We enjoyed amazing appetizers and shared entrees. Very good portions, flavor and spice. Pad Thai Noodles were exceptional. Not a very large restraunt but quality food and excellent service.

When I walked outside this restaurant I thought this might be a good one, because it was full inside. I waited around 10 minutes to get a table and had Pad Thai and sticky mango with rice. Their Pad Thai was really good, but I have tried better sticky mango with rice at another Thai restaurants. It's a small, intimate restaurant and here you can have a very nice dinner with your friends or with your partner, as I saw many couples having wine and eating dinner. Good option!

Our bookclub choose this restaurant for our annual holiday dinner. It's BYOB, intimate and was ideally located. The food was so good, everyone (9 of us) was thrilled with their choices as well as the shared appetizers. The tempura spinach leaves were fabulous! I had the pad thai shrimp and it was the best I've ever had. The service was very attentive and friendly. I plan to take my husband back soon.

By accident we entered this restaurant and could‘nt have chosen a better one. We chose duck, papaya salad, tofu and the amazing soft shell crab! We all have new favorite dishes! We can highly recommend this restaurant for everyone!
One Classy Place But.....
Was there for dinner. Ordered Tom Yum, Sea Bass and Thai Ice Tea. Place small and coze, not extravagant. Service was excellent. Tom Yum was quite spicy but good. Could have a little bit more mushrooms and shrimps. The Sea Bas was one of the best I have ever had. It was crisp on one side and very flaky rest of the way. The soy tamarind sauce made the flavor exceptionally rich, with added rice that accompanied the dish. Thai ice tea was excellent. All in all an excellent dining experience. Serving sizes were adequate to small. Yes! Would go back.
