High end dining with paper napkins.

By JD1638 |

Paper napkins at an upscale restaurant??? Seems odd - and not even high quality ones. We are having 24 dollar drinks and fabulous food in a high end restaurant and they have paper napkins!! It’s so odd. However - the food, drinks and dessert were outstanding. Will definitely be back even with the cheap napkins. But seriously- you have a very nice place with gorgeous decor and incredible food. Step it up and take it all the way to the finish line. This just seems like you are cutting corners!!

Not worth it!

By jaholton53 |

I took my daughter here for her birthday- neither of us had been before but we had wanted to try it. The maitre’d was welcoming and friendly. After we were seated it took the waitress 10 minutes to take our drink order. Another 10 after receiving those to order appetizers One of those was not pleasant but when we said that she just shrugged and walked away. Finally, we ordered entrees and even that was mixed up. Many times servers walked by our table but I had to stop ours to ask specifically for her to remove the used appetizer plates. For the nearly$200. Bill the food was mediocre and the service was terrible.

Good if this is your 1st rodeo

By Neil-from-Dallas |

Well maybe if you are young and this is your first rodeo, then you can give them a try, BUT for us, it's NO GO. The vibe isn't right. The service is ok but yet not ok. The food is also just ok. I will say the appetizer sushi cones were very good.

Undervalued-save your money, poor service

By Olivia V |

Very poor service. I ordered the hummus plate with special instructions to remove the middle part as I allergic to that part, and in its place add a little more hummus. They served me a plate with a layer of hummus surrounded the outer part of the plate and in the middle center all olive oil. It was undervalued and not enough food for even a small child. Ugh I will never come eat here.

Joey restaurant in Dallas, TX

By Valerie K |

We had a great experience and AMAZING food at Joey!!! Loved the glass of champagne on arrival. Our only request is to please use cloth napkins.

Can’t Give It Another Chance

By Lee F |

This is an ugly black facade with fake flowers stuck in tiny pots. Only positive thing was lovely wooden door. Champagne was nice touch, but VERY young bar maids wanted to clear quickly. Bar was centrally located, but a mess with no room for glasses, etc., and floor was cluttered. Lettuce wraps were excellent, but pricing for shared portion questionable. Asked why house martini was so costly and response was because it is served in that shaker. ??????? Asked for water and as soon as I drank they took my glass away. Bartender’s costume so ill fitting that she constantly was rearranging herself. After going to this place I see that they have some outstanding art work , but—-too dark to observe. Don’t know where they expect people to sit in summer, but patio area looks like it will be a steam bath. I have waited two weeks to rate to see if I want to go back——NO

The sushi tacos are super delicious

Beautiful restaurant with exceptional food on the menu. Very friendly staff and nothing to complain about the food. Since it was Father's Day, there was free chocolate fleece for the whole table

Disappointing

By Masarati@wishlist23 |

Very disappointed in our visit. JOEY just opened and we had high expectations. I’m not sure if the serving of champagne right at the door and serving sample menu items is just temporary, but it causes a terrible logjam of people. Once at your table, the noise level keeps you from having a pleasant conversation. The restaurant seats 400 according to our waitress; maybe they need to cut back on customers. We were shouting at each other. The menu is interesting and the food was good. We were shocked to find on our bill that a martini was $30. Seriously, we dine in the finest restaurants and have never run into a $30 one and we have been served the same size. We all decided that there are so many other fine dining restaurants in Dallas that we probably would not return.

Excellent for private dining/client dinner

By Abbie H |

I came here for a client meeting that I needed a private and relatively quiet place to meet for a party of 8 - I liked that there was the option for Valet -The restaurant was easy to find and get in and out of, unlike most Dallas restaurant locations. Apple maps took us exactly where we needed to go. -The waiter, Magno, asked us ahead of time abut food allergies and striked an amazing balance of making sure we were taken care of, but gave us space to talk -Lots of options if you have a dairy allergy or general food preferences. Our entire party talked about how much they liked their food - The staff was very professional, Justin, the host, was extremely professional and helpful. The manager Annelise made us feel very special. The location was perfect as it was close to the office, but private, easy to get in and out of, was beautiful and swanky, and had great food.

Great Opening Night Dinner

By mshbnyehud |

Fabulous experience on Opening Night. Heavily staffed. Extremely attentive to all details. Didn't have to wait to get in. The place is huge but doesn't feel that way. Food is outstanding. Had a tasty Sushi Cone and an Herb Crusted Salmon on creamy, wonderful mashed potatoes, encircled with diced tasty veggies -- overall just a fabulous dish! I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Although we don't normally order dessert, we couldn't resist the warm apple pie with creamy vanilla ice cream, serve hot from the oven. It's a Joey's signature dish, where every bite sends you into heaven! Can't wait to return here. The menu is loaded with lots of difference choices. Most of them reasonably priced. I only had one complaint/suggestion: Get rid of the tacky eco-friendly napkins. This is an upscale restaurant. Otherwise the vibe overall is great, you can hear yourself talk, and they'll let you take your time if you just tell them when you first encounter the server. Kudos!

IF YOU’RE READY FOR A LITTLE WOW! YOU’LL LOVE JOEY DALLAS!

By Lorenzo Buttram Hubbard |

If you’re ready for a little WOW in your dining experience, Joey Dallas is perfect day, or evening! Stepping into the luxuriously designed space, located in NorthPark Mall, you’ll immediately appreciate the warm, welcoming decor, State-of-the-Art open kitchen, cheerful staff, and complimentary champagne toast from your charming hostess, Liz. I tend to share more about food presentation than flavor, because flavor can be quite subjective, however sometimes you just have to share it all! Oh My Goodness! Every bite was like enjoying a culinary explosion of flavor, and I only had a few dishes. Of course you can’t operate a restaurant like Joey Dallas without amazing management, and Khush represents them well. My sever, Casey was knowledgeable, personable, and professional, which made my cocktail and cuisine selections easy, and the dinning experience excellent. No matter If you’re making a reservation or dropping in while shopping, I highly suggest you inquire about all the seating options available to ensure you select the perfect spot for you and your party. There are many photo opts in Joey Dallas, from their spectacular art collection, brilliant illuminations, and perfectly pruned plants. Valet is convenient offered for those who don’t want to bother with parking! I look forward to seeing you there soon; I have a lot more dishes I can’t wait to experience. XOXO LORENZO!

Expensive, Terrible Service

By Brandi H |

We showed up after an afternoon of shopping for a mid afternoon meal. Had to wait 15 minutes with many empty tables. This place is quite expensive for mediocre food. Our bill was $67 for dumplings and a tuna/avocado sushi roll, a tea and a water. The water was warm, the server barely came by and we had to ask other people walking by for help. Then they bring the bill on an iPad and stand there while you tip so you feel pressured to do so. All in all it was a total rip off!

North Park Mall Dining

By Keith D |

Joey is relatively new to North Park mall and we tried it in February 2025. You’re greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco upon arrival and we were quickly seated. Prices are a little steep compared to other options at the mall but we found value in sharing a salad and street tacos. Food was above average and wine by the glass selections were good.
