Excellent dining experience

By tjmYork_PA |

Our dining experience was so much more then we expected. The server was welcoming, friendly and made us feel as though we were the only thing he had to do. The menu is comprehensive with many options. This is not an inexpensive dining experience but we were aware of the prices and were not disappointed with the value. Don’t pass up the banana cream pie for dessert.

We should gone...anywhere else, but here.

The portions were small, the meal was warm as if it was in waiting. The music does not lend itself to a dinner restaurant unless they want you to leave as fast as possible. Ask yourself when was the last time you went to a nice dinner restaurant and had AC/DC playing as dining music? The original Binion's downtown had class, the meals were enjoyable, and it as a place to take family, friends, and business associates. It was our first and last time ever stepping into Jack Binion's Steak at Horseshoe Las Vegas. restaurant. Sorry, this restaurant doesn't meet Binion's reputation

Refund Please.

I ordered a filet mignon. That steak is made with the beef tenderloin. Like on a t-bone the beef tenderloin is that very tender side of the t-bone. And usually wrapped with a strip of bacon around it. No matter how long it is grilled this steak cannot get tough. You cannot wrap a piece of bacon around a tough chuck steak and call it a filet mignon. Which is what I think Jack Binion’s steak house does and charging $192 for it is obscene and maybe I’m wrong about the price it may have only been $92.00 for the steak still obscene for such a low quality cut of meat. Horribly disappointing.

Amazing

Everything from service to food was absolutely outstanding. I had the gambler cocktail and it was phenomenal. We have been here once before and it was just as good. This may be an every trip stop.

A last minute surprise

By tim P |

We had reservations for Gordon Ramsey steak at the Paris, however they had to close due to a water issue. The host then made reservations for us at Jack Binion's at the Horseshoe. What a great treat! We were treated great and we even got complimentary deserts. Food was fantastic, and the servers were great. What a find!

New favorite steakhouse

By Jim H |

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Jack Binions, and it was a perfect dinner. Started with a Caesar salad (big enough to share), then I had the New York strip which was absolutely delicious, I believe it was the best steak I've had in Vegas. The baked potato was huge and came with 6 toppings, so good. My wife had the prime rib which was also perfect, along with a side of their hash brown casserole. We also shared a lobster tail which was perfect. Finished off with creme Brule (didn't need it but couldn't resist. Service was spot on, friendly, efficient, and helpful. We felt genuinely appreciated and welcome. Lots of cool old pictures of the old Horseshoe which we enjoyed. I can't think of a single thing that could have made the dinner better. We've found our new favorite steakhouse!

New Year's Eve 2024

The prime rib was excellent My wife steak was fantastic and desserts are out of this world. But like most restaurants in Vegas it's got greedflation

Couples Celebration: Excellent Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, Seared Scallops, Wild Mushrooms

By Kevin |

Couples Celebration 48 Years Friendship: Excellent Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, Seared Scallops, Wild Mushrooms, Apple Cobbler, Baked Potato. I had the four course meal Price Fixed special including Prime Rib which was among the Best I have ever had as tender, flavorful, nice portion and melted in my mouth; included the smashed potatoes and French Onion soup and both were great. Friends beef filet was likewise excellent. Wife's Scallops were very good. The garlic wild mushrooms were excellent, flavorful and tender. We shared my apple cobbler and ice cream dessert that was served in a big iron pan and large enough to share. Server David was very friendly, professional and attentive.

A terrible mistake eating here at the Jack Binnions Steak House in Las Vegas

By Christopher M |

First thing I noticed was that there was nobody eating there on a very busy night. I was by myself and wanted to get a steak and all of the other steakhouses at Horseshoe properties are fantastic. So, I had no doubt this would be good. Wrong!! I tried not to look at the prices because I know everything is much higher these days and since I had been living out of the country, I didn't know what to expect. But I did think that $96 for a 16 oz ribeye was too much. Since it was so high I had nothing but the steak and a creme brulee. And my bill was still over $130. After tip I spent $165. The service was good. The $96 steak was below average. I ordered it medium rare and specifically told them that I hoped that there would be a good sear on the steak. Not so much. The steak was flavorful but lacked a sear and whoever is cutting the meat didn't take off much of the gristle or whatever it was that I couldn't chew up. It was white and it could have been veins or just gristle. I don't know. I sat at the bar, so the service was good enough. But I felt terribly ripped off from the price and the quality of the steak. Bottom line is this. Stay away from this property until they get their prices more in line and they find a better chef.

Great dinner and staff!

Second time here and it didn't disappoint. This is a great place to eat. We decided to eat at the bar. There were only 3 of us and it is always fun to interact with the bartenders and other patrons. Food and drink are wonderful. Love this place!

{{ Beautiful Casual Steak House }}

By toto l |

Had a lovely complimentary dinner at the Jack Binion's steak house at the Horseshoe and located at the back of casino , previously occupied by BLT , we are little early for our reservation , but the Host very friendly and have the Can Do Attuite , seat as right away , very relax casual steak house , menu excellent , lot to choose from Chops to Seafood and chicken , not expensive , we order the Seafood Tower , very fresh and variety of seafood good portion for two person , Ling love her Scallops nicely done very tasty , not tough , WOW ! it is one of the best Prime Rib (MR ) king cut I ate , just melting in my mouth , little rare , but I love it ! it is prime of the prime , we both love the smashed potatoes , attentive service , our wine glass never empty , do not feel be rush at all , truly a beautiful dinner experienced , not a old classic Steakhouse , but very casual place ! stop in and try it out , you will thank me for it !

Bed experience

By gfgary |

The restaurant was nice and the wait staff was excellent. The food was terrible. The wedge salad dressing was horrible. The waiter recognized it and took it off the bill. It got worse. I ordered steak and lobster tail. The steak was flavorless and the bearnaise was cold. The lobster was still in the shell and hard to eat. Their featured baked potato for $17.50 was not as good as any other restaurant. I don't mind spending high dollars for good food. This place was way over priced for what they served.

Great restaurant

We ate at Binion's Steakhouse in Bally's the first week it was open. It's in the exact location as the old BLT was. We're so glad that there is a steakhouse back in Bally's. We found out, much to our joy, that most of the bartenders and restaurant staff returned from BLT. It was so much fun seeing our favorites and longtime wait staff. The prices are fairly high, even compared to BLT, but what isn't now days. Everything has gone up. We ordered the prime rib, but it was recommended to try it blackened. We had never had a blackened prime rib. We chose the queen cut, which was huge. I tried the Bloody Mary salad. It was very unusual, but also very good. The fried green tomatoes are to die for. My husband had the lobster bisque, which is one of the best we've had. The presentation was wonderful on all of the dishes. The chef has chosen to change up things on the menu, so there are some new tricks to old recipes. Portions are of good size. The staff was great and we were welcomed back. We each had a cocktail. I believe mine was called the Boss's Old Fashioned and it came smoked under glass. Again, the presentation. My husband had his usual, not on the menu. Shout out to Larel and Eddie, two of the best bartenders and to Robert, who we saw, but wasn't on duty when we went. We will be returning for sure.

Many Photos Added. Very Good Dinner and Service

By NitroDog |

My wife and I made reservations two weeks in advance and were seated immediately in a four top. Very good, because we shared our dishes. We had two Iced Teas and my wife had a T&T Cocktail. My wife ordered the Salmon entree that came with Artichoke hearts and baby tomatoes. She ordered the Asparagus Au Gratin side (that was not truly Au Gratin, the cheese topping was runny when it should have been baked on. Terrible). I ordered the Prix Fixe Menu. Queen cut Prime Rib, French Onion Soup, Smashed Potatoes, and Berry Cobbler to finish. Everything was great. Surprised that there wasn't a bread basked included. Service was excellent. Would return but would not order the Asparagus Au Gratin again.

Disappointed. Overpriced for the quality of the food

By Bill D |

We used our diamond celebration here for our anniversary. We ordered a wedge salad with bloody mary dressing .Lettuce was white, not a very appealing start. No bread . Split a baked potato. Strip steak to split .We've had better steaks from Costco .We usually go to Ruth's Cris at Harrah's and sorry we didn't go again.PASS!

Beyond Bad

By SunNStars |

Last year we had our wedding dinner here and it was above fabulous. This year we had dinner here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and it was horrible. Service by Kevin was excellent but food and drinks were terrible. My prime rib was overcooked and way too fatty for a $90 steakhouse medium rare prime rib. My husband's filet mignon was blue rare, even though he ordered medium rare. I mentioned the issue and was told I could send back the steak but the damage was done and I wasn't interested in a new one. We ate our sides and moved on to dessert. On to my espresso martini -- which I definitely sent back -- it arrived 95% foam and 5 percent liquid. More ridiculous was the fact that it was actually served to me. It was remade and arrived all liquid but didn't taste anything like it should have. Dessert menu weak and chocolate cake sickly sweet. This meal without a doubt did not warrant a $350+ bill.

#1 Brussel Sprouts

excellent prime rib with a special price of $49 and a list of add-ons @ $7.99 and the worlds absolute best Brussel sprouts to die for!!!!!!

Too tired to look for restaurants, but wanted a steak

By BeckyBea |

We knew it would be expensive and it was, but it was worth it. Had a relaxing glass of wine, a filet and split a potato. The Staff, especially Diane was wonderful, and the atmosphere was very upscale. I would definitely recommend it.

The Water Ain't Cheap!!!

By R.G. |

Walked in on a weekday and was seated immediately. My waitress was great. Wish I remembered her name. The NY strip was good as well. The baked potato was pricey, but it came with six toppings in shot glasses. But the item that gave me sticker shock was the water. $11! They were pouring it out of a pitcher, so I assumed it was complimentary. I should have asked. All in all, I would go again but this time get Sprite.

Wonderful

Excellent experience. Javier was a wonderful, kind and attentive server. The gambler cocktail was delicious and the meal was top notch. We will definitely be back.

Seat EVERYONE that comes to dine reservation or not

This is the second time we went to Jack Binions at Horseshoe Las Vegas. The first time (Feb 2023) everything was delicious. Hubby said it was one of the best ribeyes he had ever had. My filet was good also. So we though we would try it again. The second time we went (May 2023) He said his steak wasn’t as good, mine however was excellent. Steaks came with a grilled onion and whole garlic, that I loved. We split a salad, Caesar, which wasn’t as big as other restaurants, could have each gotten one, but was good. Also got the baked potato with all the fixings, it’s a potato, what can I say. They do not serve bread. I’m sure if they did they would charge for it as that is becoming the norm at these restaurants. I know Vegas is expensive but I do not think this food was worth the price point. ******Most importantly I want to say that the first time we went we did not have a reservation. They said they couldn’t seat us. We were there when it opened and they said we would have to wait 30 minutes. Keep in mind there was no line waiting to get in. We almost left to eat elsewhere. We put up a stink and they finally seated us. All the time we were there, there was maybe 5-8 tables that were occupied with plenty open. The second time we made a reservation and got seated. But before we went. we were chatting with 2 gentleman inquiring about a table, they didn’t have a reservation, they were told at least 30 minutes if not more before they could be seated, there was NO ONE IN THE RESTAURANT. They DID leave and go elsewhere. Ridiculous!!! Don’t think it is wise to turn people away. If it was packed I could understand but you lost them as customers and almost lost us the first time we were there. Our waiter was very good, but if not seating guests is because you don’t have enough waitstaff, ours talked to us for quite a while when he could have handled the 2 gentlemen easily had you seated them. Not sure if I will be back, not because of the food but because of how guests are handled without reservation. DO NOT TURN POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS AWAY.

Great Food, Great Staff

This is a very nice restaurant, our meal was fabulous and so was the service. Top Notch. We had the Filet, it was wonderful. Sides were awesome. Well worth the price.

Best Wedding Dinner

By SunNStars |

This steakhouse was our choice for our wedding dinner, party of 8. We had the absolute best service from Tony, who treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant. Service really couldn't have been better. Our drinks came quickly and the appetizers we chose were delicious. Our dinners were even better with delicious steaks and seafood. I can highly recommend this restaurant for a celebration dinner or just an ordinary dinner while in Vegas. We will definitely return on our next trip to Vegas. Thank you Jack Binions and Tony for the greatest dinner experience.

Hugely Expensive Non Event

By shane m |

Very overpriced for average food. ( indicative of Las Vegas at the current time ). We had one course each and 2 sides between us. We also had a bottle of average wine. The bill with tip was $325. Nice server though ! ps. Cant get fries in this restaurant !

Delicious !!!

Wonderful, I loved everything I ordered from the appetizers to the dessert, it may seem a little expensive but the truth is the portions are good and it's worth it, very very good 👌🏻
