Ordered takeout for Seahawks game from the South Lake Union location. The manager, Nick, went way beyond necessary to help make our food service exceptional. The ribs, brisket, and links were perfect. Reminded me of growing up in Texas!

Symphony of flavors. Not your usual beans, brisket, Mac n cheese, or cole slaw. Unique flavors that will dance over your palate. The real deal pecan pie. So luscious. Staff was amazing. Great explanations of menu options and so attentive throughout the meal. Topped it all off with great humour.

Great visit. They were out of sausage, ribs, and pulled pork, so we were left with chicken and brisket. The chicken was flavorful but just a hair dry, while the brisket was on point! Had the chili and potato salad as sides and both were delicious. Used the jalapeño bbq sauce with chicken and it was tasty while not being overly spicy. Hate that I couldn't try the pork, but it's a good problem to have for the business.

We really enjoyed the food and staff at Jack's BBQ. The brisket was phenomenal, the pork rib so tender, and the sausage was fantastic. We will make the trip downtown again just to go to Jack's again. The staff was awesome and we really enjoyed our visit.

Totally surprised to find this jewel in diwntown Seattle tucked among the office buildings. A great BBQ spot with tender ribs, and southern style sides with healthy portions (the collards would be at home anywhere in Georgia!! Really good). Staff was very friendly in a real way. Ill be back on my next business trip!

Wow, my family came all the way from Pennsylvania to find this AWESOME BBQ! Plus the sides send it over the top! The Ribs, Pulled Pork, Chill, Corn Bread.....on and on!

Great BBQ joint with fantastic servers. Done up to look a bit like a dive bar, but the washrooms are part of a very fancy apartment building :)

Walking distance from the Holiday Inn Express on Dexter. We loved the food. Had a group, so we ordered the family style meals to share (The Picnic). Great service, good beer choices.

Great BBQ matched with an amazing staff! Food was out of this world, beef bbq rib, brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, corn bread...we loved everything we ate! The staff was amazing...helpful and friendly. It was our servers second day, he was warm and enthusiastic and looked to an equally warm and friendly manager for help with my questions. Loved everything about this place for a casual dinner. We went to the South Lake Union location.

Were to start … I had the sliced brisket and my wife had the pork ribs. When they say real Texas BBQ, they mean it. Really good food and the service was great. If you’re in town for your cruise like us, give this place a try. It will not disappoint !!

The food was mostly good. The bbq was smoked pretty well. The bigger disappointment was the service. The hostess was not really interested in seating 8 of us. She went to look and said it would be 20 minutes, which was fine. There were smaller groups through out this very small place. When asked if we could sit at the bar, she said there was no room. We could see there was. A coworker went to see and someone sitting at the bar offered to scoot down to give us room. Our orders were brought out far apart, 3 got theirs fairly quick. Then another 2, then the last of us got our food when the other half was almost done. Items had to be asked for twice. The desserts when asked for after 10-15 minutes, our waitress (who didn’t take the order, but they hostess did) said the order was not put in. Really, disappointed since coworkers went to the location outside of Seattle and had a great experience - which is why we went to this location when the rest of our coworkers were in town.

This spot was relatively closer to where I live, but still as good as the original spot. This spot also specialized in more chicken options, whereas the South Seattle location focused more on beef and pork.

Look no further for bbq in the PNW. Brisket and corn, chili and Mac and cheese were all excellent. There are no photos because we ate it all! We will definitely be back.

Good food! Good service. In a group of 11 people, we all enjoyed our food. The staff quickly made a space for us. I'd stop again.

We had high hopes for Jack's BBQ when we ordered it from the SLU location. Everything we ordered from the Chicken to the Beans were so salty. It was the first flavor we tasted before anything else. The only items not as salty were the potato salad and the corn bread.

We had the brisket and pulled pork. Jack's easily compares to the best brisket in Austin. They had sauce at the table but it wasn't really necessary, the meat itself had plenty of slow smoked flavor. Brisket, pulled pork and Shiner Bock, a perfect meal!
Carnivores welcome!
The perfect meeting place for carnivores! Small restaurant with a super original and very warm decoration! Beautiful menu around meat and barbecue. The service is smiling and friendly. A little wait but nothing serious. The quantities are just mind-blowing and impressive, you have to be hungry! The meats are excellent and the side dishes are original and very good. We enjoyed ourselves, it was very good.
