This place looks like the typical dive bar but the food was amazing. My wife and I had the ribeye steaks with onion rings and a blue cheese salad. Very good. They have a prime rib special on Monday’s. Great off the strip place to get filled up without getting ripped off on the strip. Highly recommended!

It was a good restaurant to eat at that was open late at night (after 11 p.m.) Beats fast food anyday! Service was decent and staff was friendly. The only con: people smoke in there!

I have the chicken-fried steak which was gigantic for the price we will definitely go back. The service was good service were friendly bartenders our friend

Got a restaurant.com coupon and upon seeing the outside of this place, nearly refrained from going in. However, went in expecting greasy low quality food in this dark place but instead got good quality and tasty food for a cheap price. The fries were the best ever; seemed to be coated in panko or something and were crispy, delicious and not greasy at all. They had lunch specials and pitchers of beer for cheap. Didn't even spend enough to use our coupon because the prices were so low. Will definitely go back.

I went to Jackson’s with my family for lunch on Tuesday 12/30/08. We ordered the chips and salsa, the Jack Daniels tri-tip sandwich, Mushroom Swiss burger, the Chili burger, and a grilled chicken burger. Everything was really good! The chips, tri-tip, burgers, fries, onion rings, and coleslaw were delicious. The servings were pretty big and the $6.99 special lunch price for burgers and fries is a great deal! The mushroom swiss burger was better than the ones at Fuddrucker’s, and they charge $12! We’ll definitely go back to Jackson’s! And you can even get a discounted certificate at www.restaurant.com

My wife and I bought a restaurant.com coupon for Jackson's Bar & Grill in Las Vegas. We'd never been there, but decided that, with a coupon, we'd give it a try. It's a bit off the beaten path, but with the GPS it was no problem getting there. The first impression is of a neighborhood watering hole; the kind of place where the locals go and they know your name. The second thing that strikes you is the smell of cigarette smoke; not overwhelming, but you can definitely tell it's a place that allows smoking. It has a fairly long undulating bar with the built in video games. There is a dining area, but we opted to use the bar height table for two just off the bar. Our server, Jayde, was friendly and courteous. She brought us our drinks in good time and we placed our orders. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I had the 16 oz. ribeye and my wife had the chicken fried steak. Mine came with fries and broccoli while hers came with mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli. Her steak was huge and she enjoyed it immensely. My ribeye was great, cooked exactly to my order. At $11 for the CFS and $13 for the ribeye, it's a real bargain and we wouldn't hesitate to go back. Jayde stopped by at least twice to make sure things were okay. The main drawback to Jackson's is the smoke-fouled atmosphere. If you don't like the smell of cigarette smoke, it's not the place for you. They have several large screen TVs and the walls are decorated with Green Bay Packers logos, pictures, pennants, etc.

I go there every time I'm in town on a Monday. Some of the best Prime Rib you can find all in for 12.99. Served with all of the trimmings by a very friendly staff

Played video poker at the bar and split an order of wings and a sandwich. Food was very good and bartender kept drinks full

Steak was really nice and a very generous portion, fries and loaded mash were also really good, however we did recieve wrong drinks and the waitress had a face like a smacked behind, it doesn't cost anything to smile and be nice, overall not bad

Yes its a dive bar per say, but the 14.99 1lb Ribeye is awesome. Had it about 6-7 times over the past yr , as well as my wife. Always Great.

My husband and I had a coupon for $25.00 off as long as we spent $40.00, so we decided to give Jackson's a try. Why not? When we got there, we weren't sure we wanted to stay because it really didn't look too inviting. Since we had this deal, we didn't want to turn it down. We walked in and the bar area was a little smokey. We are not smokers so we went into their dining area which was much better. It was a Monday night and their Monday night special is always prime rib (remember that!), My husband ordered it rare. I ordered the Jack Daniel's steak sandwich for $9.99 which was pretty tender and had a great taste. However, if you are a prime rib eater, I defy you to find a better piece of meat anywhere. The price? A mere $9.99! The beef had to be at least 1" thick and the portion covered most of the plate. It came with a vegetable and potato. It was so tender you could cut it with your fork and it came out just as ordered -- rare. The wait staff is comprised of neighborhood-type gals and they are all very cordial. We have been back to Jackson's a few times already and have not been disappointed. It's a no-frills, casual, come-as-you-are kind of place, so if you're looking for style and class -- forget it!

Food doesn't have to be outrageously expensive in Vegas. Steaks were good - well worth the $$. Service friendly and efficient. We will go every trip *4-5 times annually)

Affordable and tasty. Steak and wings were excellent. When we first walked in we weren't sure what to think but when we saw some of the food passing our table, we thought we were likely in for a good meal and we were. Locals frequenting the place and we got talking to a couple at the next table who live in the area and say the place is known for their steaks and they frequent it often.

Loved this bar, about a 3 mile trip west of the Strip on Flamingo Road. Great breakfast, beer specials, good gaming with special games and drawings during the game. Nice locals who welcome visitors to their special little spot. A must visit for any Packers fan in Vegas on game day!!

Good Breakfast, fast service in the back of the bar area. A great place when big hotels are not wanted.

We stop here every year because the food is great and not expensive and the service is superior. This time...a whole new staff, food good yet not the same and, prices have gone up. BOTTOM LINE...Still the best place to eat in Vegas

While waiting on a friend to get a tattoo, at nearby studio 21 tattoo shop we went for lunch... Super friendly staff, good music 🎶 excellent food 🥘..

Hi, We stop here every time we come to Vegas because it has great food. This year not so great. Breakfast did not taste like it use to even though it was just eggs. They also seem to have a new staff who are friendly it is not the same without the others. They still do have the best Rib eye steak in town with the best price.

Fantastic Value and friendly staff, a normal American steak house , the one near the strip so over priced

WOW! My wife and I were hoping to find a Packer's Bar instead we found a bar fit for Bar Rescue! The owner, Tia, was falling over drunk and the drinks were so strong we couldn't enjoy a pleasant cocktail. The owner obviously thought she was entertaining everyone but the bar was held hostage to her drunken antics. THEN when our food finally arrived the potatoes were sour. Maybe this establishment thinks they are fooling everyone but the food rated like it was bulk food from a bulk store. Everything we had from their steak to nachos was HORRIBLE. We felt ripped off. Unlike the Zagat Guide, The Best of Emblem means nothing. When we sent the food back, the potatoes came out cold.....maybe they used a microwave. Over all we excepted a nice experience but instead got a sour taste in our mouths from the food and the owner. Will never go back! Unfortunately if you are in Las Vegas during Football you should find another Packer Bar...unfortunately they were hard for us to find. Rating BLAH! ICKY! F+++++ Number one rule you don't get drunk at your own bar.

A once decent family restaurant has turned into a Cosco heat em up restaurant. The food served is anything you can get at Cosco but Jackson's just heats it up for you...not my idea of a good place to eat. Even if you like Cosco food beware the food may have expired. The gravy is out of a jar, the management is RUDE! The owner brags about how rich he is, but his wealth is taking money from old people he over serves boozes too. After one drink your are sure to get a DUI = $5000. The Management needs to consider the safety of public not just their wallets. Tia the drunk bar tender will cut one person off but let others drink until they slam into cars in the parking lot. Word of caution...not a safe or good place. Owner fights with his paying customers.

Went for dinner on Sunday, my wife, daughter, and granddaughter. Had to wait for an hour for our food. Somebody screwed up. My "16 ounce" Rib-eye could NOT have been more than 8 ounces. My wife, and my daughters steaks, which they ordered WELL DONE, were both bleeding! When I asked our server what happened, she stated that they "got slammed with customers and orders.!" Well, I guess that the customers that all came in and did the "slamming," were disguised as empty tables and booths! Obviously, either the chef took a long nap, or someone else got our order and they tried to cover up by making a quick new order....

You will not find better food or staff in the Las Vegas area. The prime rib special on Monday is superb - done just the way you request and huge 1# portions served with a loaded baked potato and a veggie. Prices are reasonable on everything. You will find 24 hour specials, hamburgers and sandwiches, homemade soup, salad, and a variety of appetizers. You can even get super breakfasts if that is your preference. Since Jackson's is a bar along with the dining room, you can order your favorites to accompany your dinner. You don't have to get all dressed up to come here - the atmosphere is casual. Gaming is also available for your pleasure. The staff is about the best I have ever encountered. They are attentive, friendly, and quick. You will always feel welcomed at Jackson's. We do not live anywhere near the area (about 1500 miles away) but would never miss Jackson's anytime we are traveling through and each and every time the staff treat us like family. It is a wonderful experience. If we lived in the area we would be regulars. I highly recommend you take the time to check Jackson's out whether you are a local or a traveler. I'm sure you will love the place.

Took a cab from the Strip to Jackson's to watch the Packer game and have a burger. So glad we did!! Everyone was in green and gold...felt like home! The burgers were the best I have had in a long time and about half the price we would have paid on the strip. Will definitely go back if we are here on another Packer Sunday.

When it comes to steaks you need a charcoal grill, minimal seasoning and a fine piece of meat. You'll not be disappointed with Jackson's bar and grill. 24 hour grill you can have your steak any time you have a hankering for one. This is a must stop on each of our visits to Vegas now. Give it a try and you'll know why. Oh and the sides are a healthy portion as well. 16ounce ribeye for $15.99 and charcoal cooked can't be beat!

Jackson's is just what it looks like - a neighborhood bar. However, it has a surprise inside - they serve food. Not just any food, great prime rib, steak, etc., at great prices. The service is good, the bartenders attentive and it is a good place to watch a game and have a bite to eat. For those that want five-star service, go to the strip and pay three or four times as much for your meal.

Horrible rude owner. Trashy place. Trashy staff....it's in the ghetto. You feel like you need to take a shower from the scum in the bar. I could get better food from a can of chicken soup. Something is very off with the owner. The food in not fresh and anything on the menu I could cook at home but for less. The steak is over salted. Not a a place for kids or family.

Great drive bar, very unassuming and kinda sketchy looking from outside, you have to get buzzed in. Once in the service was really friendly and attentive, food and drinks all came very quickly. The steaks were good, not highest quality you'll find in Vegas but for $22 you can't go wrong. I had the ribeye and my other half had the double filet which came very rare as she asked for. Sides were great. Shame we couldn't manage dessert! I'd definitely go back without a hesitation.

11/10 for everything bar staff are first class, they cant do enough to help you.its good during the day its good during the night, have done them both

Although not the greatest ambiance, the food is excellent and the service is good. My wife had a jalapeño burger and I had a grilled cheese burger, both were very good and huge, we each took home half of our burgers for another meal.

We wanted a good steak off strip. Our Uber driver recommended Jackson's... The sign said "voted best" by locals...Now we will be telling all of our friends! Well worth the trip. Great food. Awesome prices. Great service. Our server Denise was super. The owner was very friendly, too. We will be back.

Very friendly staff ! Good menu selection's Great food ! Big portion's and reasonable prices. Week night was a little slower.

Spacious dining room and tvs all around showing football game. This is the place to go to for watching a Green Bay Packers game! We had the cheese curds, poutine, and Mac &cheese bites- all were good and reasonably priced. Quality of food good, too. Service was friendly. Worth visiting for a game or to eat.

This was a great place to watch a hockey game on TV. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed all the food---chicken wings and burgers. We recommend it!

We had their signature 16oz steak for $20. The overall meal was good with the exception that some of our steaks were not made to order. Instead of rare and medium rare they were cooked medium. We had been touring all day and were hungry and tired so did not send the steaks back. For the price of the meal especially in Las Vegas we were satisfied.

Very friendly local feeling experience. Great Steak at reasonable price. Not a Strip type experience. Very comfortable. Highly recommend if you are staying close by. I stayed in an Air BnB a half mile away. Entrance doesn’t look like a standard restaurant.

First time coming here even though I live close by for years . I wanted a good bar burger and decided to give them a try . The atmosphere is cool cabin theme and it's clean . I would love to have the Corvette Pinball Machine . It's a Green Bay Packers bar and I'm a Carolina Panthers fan , but we don't have any bars in Las Vegas representing us . Dang ! Anyway , my burger was big with bacon and Swiss cheese . It was okay , but I've had better . It did fill me up . The fries were a little overcooked . I got my Pepsi for free with the Yelp Check-in on the App since it was my first time . The total with tax was $12.99 which was a little much for a burger and fries . The waitress was very friendly . I will come back again one day for breakfast with my son and try the Chicken Fried Steak .

Jacksons has very good food at a normal price. Watched the super bowl here and had a good time. Staff are friendly and they have free WIFI. Located two blocks north of Westgate Flamingo bay resort on Flamingo.

Good bartenders and chicken wings were good. Everything you would expect but don't receive in a lot of these strip mall taverns, so it's definitely better than most.

Located at the corner of Jones and Flamingo, Jackson's offers a wonderful dining experience in a relaxed, homey atmosphere. If you are a Green Bay Packer fan and the team is playing, get there early for a seat in the dining room. Two wonderful offers on Monday evenings are Lobster Bisque and Prime Rib. The Bisque has chucks of lobster and the Prime Rib is cooked to order and comes with a potato side of one's choosing. Normally, if one orders an end cut, he/she will have a take home bag. The family size pretzel is a treat that a few will enjoy - too much for one person even if it is intended to be one's meal.

Once again, Jackson's hits the bullseye! Their Rib-Eye Steaks are back on top. Perhaps it's a new chef or something. But the steaks have been improved 100%.

This is a nice local watering hole with all the perks! Restaurant, Bar, Events, etc...and Gaming. They have Prime Rib night on Mondays and it's been a favorite around here for a long time! People working in the area can always count on a really nice lunch, and they always have fun events happening.

A typical bar and grill…. but what was excellent Were the Steak/eggs and husband had ribeye steak dinner. Steaks were cooked perfectly as well as eggs, prices were very reasonable too. Our server was very nice and friendly…but unfortunately didn’t inquire if we wanted refills on our drinks and forgot jams for toast. I got up and got them myself. No military discounts given. All in all food was excellent…..service could have been better

we had the philly cheese steak. The fries were hot and crisp fresh from the fryer. The philly was good, with mushrooms and cheese and seasoned. the bun was soft and not toasted. The service was excellent. Good menu with all kinds of bar food and snacks.

Value, quality, comfort. It's all good. I stumbled across this place a couple of years ago during one of my frequent visit to LV. It's now a favorite. The meals are always generous portions, wonderfully prepared, taste great, and are very reasonably priced. I mean like Prime Rib meal for $10. The service is very good too. I usually insist that the chief knows of my appreciation. It is really a great place.

There must be something very special in the kitchen here because the waitresses seem to spend a lot of time in there but when they come out from hiding, they don't have any food or drinks in their hand. I haven't figured that one out yet but the service here is awful. The food is pretty good but the last time I ate there it was cold because my waitress was visiting with people at the bar while my food was sitting out. I won't be going back because the service is that bad. If you do go here to eat, don't be in a hurry because you'll be late to wherever you had planned on going afterwards

we stayed a few blocks away at a resort and were told to not miss a meal at Jackson's...we went back three times and were not disappointed

The biggest and best burger we have ever eaten! I suggest the grilled cheeseburger. We also had an order of hot and spicy wings-needs more spice but otherwise very good.

Me: Steak and eggs. Rib eye steak cooked perfectly and delicious. Medium rare and still has slight charring (which I like). Eggs over easy; made just right. Wife: Fajita burger; hold the peppers. She said it was cooked perfectly and delicious as well. Waitress; absolutely delightful, hardworking and always there when needed. Criticisms: Smoke came into the dining area, even though it is almost a different room. Smelly restroom. Value: Good prices and Restaurant.com voucher makes it a steal.

Got a 16 oz ribeye, two eggs over easy, hash browns and 4 pieces of toast for $ 15 bucks. Nice grill marks on the ribeye and perfectly cooked. Mixed with the eggs and hashbrowns made it the ultimate late night meal. Plus they have poker games at the bar. Only 3 miles of the strip its worth the cab ride to get a decent price on an great steak.

This bar and grill was round the corner from our rented villa, and we hesitated a little due to the comments about the smoke, BUT, the eating area is smoke free, the staff are friendly and attentive and the steaks are great! so is the breakfast. Good value local bar, with cold beer and no rip off prices. Would recommend!

Loved by locals, we tried this joint out and found it superior to the overpriced, mediocre casino chains. My brother, a Vegas resident for 25 years, loved his chicken quesadilla. I had a massive NY sirloin that was ablitrle fatty, but tasted more like a ribeye, with very nice zucchini and a baked potato the size of my leg. I added this place to my list for the next time I come to Las Vegas. Good food, great value, excellent service.

Jackson's was recently added to the list of participants for restaurant.com in Las Vegas. I pass their establishment nearly every day, yet after 12 years in Vegas I had never been there. I purchased a $10 certificate which required a $15 purchase. A steak dinner and soda should meet that requirement, so the first chance I had, I went to check the place out. It was around 2 p.m. and the place was nearly full. There were only 2 tables left in the dining area, and no place to sit at the bar. Oh yeah, the USA soccer team was playing somebody on all of the screens. They had 1 of the 2 big screens (6' at least) on in the dining area, and several smaller screens around the bar. I was not interested in the game, but I watched anyway, as I ordered, and ate my steak dinner. I ordered a 16 ounce ribeye, and baked potato. I believe it was 14.99, and it was huge! Blackened with a moderate amount of fat marbled throughout. If that's the way you like your steak, you would have been in heaven. Now I understand that rib eyes normally have more fat than other steaks, but with the blackening, and the somewhat dark room, it was a little difficult to find it, and I'm not a fat eater. That would be my only negative comment about the whole visit. The waitress was on top of things, even though they were very busy. She even refilled my drink 3 times. I ended up paying $12 above my $10 certificate, including tax and tip. I felt it was worth it since the steak was very good, and the service was excellent in my opinion. I will seek out more certificates in the future if they're still available, and return for sure!

We went for a late breakfast and had the omelets (Texas and Club) and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! We wanted to watch a certain channel on one of the big TV's and they were more than accommodating. Went back for the Prime Rib on Monday and had 2 pitchers of beer ($11 for both (did not have to be ordered at the same time and the waitress came at regular intervals with chilled glasses) for about $40. The food is excelllent!! A place that the locals all go to...which says a lot!

Do not expect upscale surroundings and a smoke free environment. This is a working man's local bar and restaurant. Do expect great drinks, outrageously inexpensive quality food and friendly fast service. It has become my home several times a week. I can have a great dinner, cocktails and read quietly as a single person. There is a backgammon club on Tuesday and most guests are addressed on a first name basis. Desserts are huge and home made. This "Cheers" style gem is voted "Best of Las Vegas" for a reason. Thank you John Curtis for a great recommendation.

Christmas night I was craving a steak and cheese curds and Jackson's never disappoints. I mainly writing this review because of the review I read about the service and how it's gone down hill. It's just not true for me. Especially since I saw my favorite waitress, Stephanie, working Christmas. There was a time where the dynamic duo (my friends and myself dubbed the ladies with this title) Stephanie and Sheri worked the dinner shifts together and they rocked it! They had this way with the guests wether new or regulars of making you feel like you were welcomed and wanted. They could remember your name drink and the way you wanted your steak cooked. That all came to a halt about 6 months ago. I came in for dinner and there was new waitress with no word of where the dynamic duo was. I was crushed to say the least. But then there was Christmas night and I walk in and ran right into Stephanie! Man oh man was I super excited to see her! Found out Sheri moved to be with her family. I sat down and had a wonderful dinner with the best service ever! Thank you Stephanie for still remembering my entire order and making me feel appreciated!

Excellent food! Owner is on site and vists with customers! He hires excellent employees! The best of Las Vegas! My husband and I have dinner here often and recommend it highly! You need to visit and enjoy excellent service and FOOD!

Jackson's is a MUST to visit in Las Vegas. I stumbled upon Jackson's 3 years ago. Every time I'm in Vegas I visit at least 2 or 3 times before departing. Their burgers are the best! Order of the menu; simply create your own. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Certainly, a burger gem off the strip.

The staff and food at Jackson's were just great.. You can't beat the prices. If the dining room was smoke free, I would have given it an excellent rating. I live in a smoke free state so, it's just hard to be someplace where people can smoke. But, that's Vegas!

If you're looking for a good dinner at a very decent price that is off strip with a local flare (smoky, gaming environment), go to Jacksons Bar and Grill. We stumbled upon Jackson's and went in because my nephew, who was visiting Vegas for the first time, is named Jackson. He wanted to go in so we did and we were glad we did. The food was FANTASTIC. The steaks perfectly cooked, the chicken strips were so plentiful that two people shared the dinner and even took some home! I would DEFINITELY go for the steak- it probably is one of the best steak values in all of Vegas! THE BEST PART OF OUR VISIT to Jacksons was our waitperson, Holly. Wow! What a really good person with a friendly, upbeat attitude. Holly is exactly the type of person you want as an employee, a waitperson or a friend. Such a kind heart and you could tell it was genuine. She really upgraded our visit with her professionalism and kindness. (Wish that girl ONLY the very BEST!) Conclusion- go to Jackson's if you want a real hometown Vegas experience! We're glad we did!

Outside of China town area is a locals bar and grill, known for ribeye steak for 20.00 but next visit I will do the Riley steak breakfast with hasbrowns and eggs. The Ribeye is 16 ounce and very flavorful. The steak was moderately tough my fault anything there over medium might be chewy. Only downer was the loaded baked potato, any baked potato held in warmer 15 min. In the warmer will turn yellow and will be cakey, this was the case here. But we will come back overall we were happy

We really enjoy their strip steaks. Monday is prime rib, they are cooked to order and are quite tasty. They have a non-smoking dining area, but you have to walk the gauntlet of smokers at the bar to get to the dining area.

There were great reviews on Yelp that I persuaded my BF to eat here for lunch. I told him about the great Primerib on Monday but we opted for just trying their lunch on a Sunday. Keep in mind, this is a bar and grill - no frills on the exterior and no frills in the interior. This is a neighborhood bar. Lots of parking available. Located at the end of a strip mall. You walk towards the restaurant/bar and there is a huge banner hanging in front that says "Best in Vegas" .... When you first walk in, it's a dark bar with video slots on the counter. The bartender greets you and says if we are for the restaurant, non-smoking section there and smoking section there. Friendly bartender. ;) So, we sit in a booth in (I hope it was the non-smoking section). There are booths and regular tables. The restaurant section is well lit, unlike the bar section. In the other section, there are bar tables. There were ladies in that section and in our section, a group of men sitting on a regular table. And, there we were sitting in a booth. There were not many people there at the time (about 1130am). Clean place. Since, there were so much talk about the steaks, we ordered the Rib-eye and NY Steak. My BF ordered beer which happily he said it was nice and cold! brrrr...... I ordered the raspberry ice-tea which was very good. Our food came and the plates looked pretty tasty. We like our steak medium but the waitress said if you want just a slight pink, order it medium well - so we took her suggestion. The Rib-eye was very good!! My NY was too done and tough. I took most of it to go to make fried rice. I think if, anything, order the rib-eye. Also, order it how you normally order it. I think the waitress' recommendations were a slight off on the steaks. Both plates came with veggies and your choice of mash-potatoes or fries. The sauteed spinach was good - simple. I ordered dessert, carrot cake. The cake was okay - not home made. But okay. Maybe next time, I will order their pecan pie with ice-cream. ;) Overall, for good food and decent price, it was very good. I gave it a 3 star because I didn't know how to do 3.5 stars. (this was due to the NY steak being tough). The steaks are not Prime Cuts of beef - these are Choice cuts of beef. So, know that when you go in and you won't have an "attitude" towards your steak order... LOL. However, The restaurant was clean, the waitress was somewhat friendly, she should smile more ;), the bartender was friendly, the bathrooms were clean, the food was good and good price! They, also serve breakfast.... If you want a place for just a decent meal, no frills - Jackson's Bar and Grill is the place. I would go here, again. My BF is a little snooty (I say this in love) - he said he wouldn't return. I think it was because of the location and interior. Like I said, NO FRILLS. He did eat all his food and ate my french fries and he enjoyed his cold beer. His stomach was full, I think He was happily filled!!! ;) I liked it....I would return.

What a surprise, we were not expecting such a decent tasting, large rib eye steak dinner for $20.00, but this place is awesome. A true hidden Gem in Las Vegas. On our weeknight visit, the service was great, the food was great and the price was Unbeatable. We shall return. Overall Rating ~ Very Good

Excellent wait staff. Delish food and great prices. Portions are enormous. The ambiance is not top shelf but the food quality is

We asked the bartender at the casino if she had a favorite place to eat. She said the "locals" go to Jacksons. Good steaks at a good price. We headed there for an early dinner. Easy to find and plenty of parking. A little dark inside but our eyes soon adjusted to reveal a simple interior. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. She readily explained the menu. We noticed the great prices and the generous portions. Only way to find out if things were as good as they looked was to order. Our streaks were perfectly done and tasty. Surpassed our expectations! Strongly recommend a visit. A nice escape from the high prices and glitz of the "Strip".

We were just looking for a good lunch not to make love with the staff or the owner. Wow did we ever, to my good fortune Wendesday 4/29/15 the special was Meat Loaf as good as I ever have eaten home-made mashed potatoes and gravy and corn $9.95 My buddy was hungary for a steak and was he impressed with the 16 oz Ribeye salad ,french fries and vegatable for $13.99 we were full and happy when we left. As a lot of properties in Vegas it sets back off the main street so write down the address W Flamingo so you don't miss it, you won't be sorry. My friends who live in Vegas say it definitely is a locals place. Nothing fancy just rustic wood like lots of small town bar /restaurants in anytown USA. Always do my homework on TripAdvisor before I go anywhere including Vegas even though I have been going there fo 21 years and know plenty of good places to eat. One thing I have learned is make sure you read current reviews 6 months or less and read several as the bad reviews are usually a onetime situation where someone is having a bad hair day and that happens to all of us.

I was staying at the Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort. Which is right down the street from this place. Got in late and wanted something to eat and they recommended this place. If you like Burgers and Steaks this is the place to go. It is on Flamingo Road not the Vegas Strip.

We stopped here late afternoon and was glad we did. Lisa, our server was terrific and guided us thru a super dinner of steak and chocolate pie for dessert. Great salad, steak and fixins…….We will be back.

I went for a visit to the bar and apartment quick bite. This place is a smoky, casino like bar with decent food. The prices are reasonable and worth it. I may suggest an air handling upgrade to clear the air a bit better. Very good service!

This place was recommended by our resort as a good place to get a burger. It was pretty awful, dirty, smoky, etc. The spinach I ate there came up the next morning. On the positive side, the people there were really nice.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, The owner is the most rude person you could ever meet, The guy wouldn't shake my hand due to his germ issue, as this happens I see the biggest roach I have ever seen in my life.....? Really? A guy wont shake your hand and then a bug crawls by in his own bar?

On Monday's, after 5 PM, Jackson's has a Prime Rib Special featuring 16 ounces of tender, perfectly cooked prime rib, vegetables, your choice of potatoes and all the fixin's for $14.99. This was one of the best prime rib dinners I have ever had! There is nothing fancy about this Bar & Grill except the friendly staff and wonderful food. Do yourself a huge favor by stopping to eat at Jackson's on a Monday evening.

Food is good.Prices are great.Gives you a lot of food for the money. Opened 24/7. Friendly enviroment

The food was great and the service was better. We had their steak dinner both were cook well melt in your month with very good flavor. Mine did have some fat on it so I tried it off - I do not eat any fat. We will go back on our next vegas trip.

It's amazing when a place goes to a new menu...It ALWAYS means higher prices. Well, you don't mind paying a bit more if the quality remains at least equal to what it always was. Well, what was once a great 16 ounce Rib Eye Steak at a bargain price, has turned into a slab of fat and leather! And, a higher price.(Wednesday Night) The service was a solid 1 1/2 on a 1 to 10 scale. For the longest time, there was a young lady named Cheri who was a GREAT waitress. She knew everyone's favorites, and how they liked their steaks, etc. This is the second time I've been back to Jackson's since she has been gone, and the service went from a 3, to that 1 1/2! I look at the prior reviews and it seems as if many others feel the same way that I do. That's sad. Anyway, all things must pass, and until I hear otherwise, I will have to pass Jackson's on my way to the next steak!

They serve one of the best rib eye steaks in Las Vegas for only $12.95. It is a very simple sports bar with great service. They also have prime rib Mondays for $10.95.

A little off the strip yet worth the visit.The food is great,service is good and,the price is right.you can not loose here on breakfast with the 20oz hamsteak and OMG.Order rib eye steak and eggs and the rib eye was 16oz like on the strip for $13.Monday nights they have Prim Rib dinner only $10 and it is good,well worth the $10. if you go in the evening there are smokers at the bar and the smoke smell does exist in the restaurant part.You are safe at breakfast Looks like nothing from the outside and inside yet the best food.DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THE FREE DRINKS? eVERY DAY WHEN YOU ARRIVE THERE IS A HUGE SIGN THAT SAYS {ALL DRINKS FREE TOMORROW ONLY }

I live very close to this place. The service is very good. The food is also very good. It is not my regular hangout, but it is a very good place to eat and have a beer.

I can only speak for this: Jackson's is a Packers bar & I'm a Packers fan so I enjoy partaking in the gameday festivities! The owner & the staff are extremely personable & haul booty to make sure all the patrons are tended to. While there are no windows, the inside is well lit, it's not stuffy & you don't smell like an ashtray when you leave. As far as the food, it's a bar... but it's yummy bar food. I suspect their ranch is even homemade. A new item are these ginormous soft pretzels served with a few dips. There's a Monday prime rib nite I've heard people rave about so a few of us plan on checking that out in the near future. Whether a Packers fan or not, Jackson's is an ideal joint to take in a game. We won't heckle you for rooting for another team!, everyone is there to have a good time & the more the merrier.

This is an off the strip video poker place. From the outside I had my doubts but once inside the staff were friendly. The kitchen is open 24/7. The food was great. Service was prompt. We enjoyed the $20 ribeye & my wife got the filet. Both were great cooked to order. They were both tender. I added a $5 side salad that was tasty. I also added dessert that was $5. I had the chocolate cake which was moist & delicious. The lemon meringue pie was good too. This is a hole in the wall place but to my family it was a hidden gem. Check it out then tell me I right. 👍👍

We were suprised to find new York strip on the menu. It was cooked perfectly to order. The atmosphere was great and the other patrons were nice to meet.

Every night Jackson's has a $7.99 steak special. The steaks are awesome. They also have a prime rib special every Monday night for $9.99 that is also awesome. We always have a great time at this bar. Lot of TV's. Be ready for a lot of Green Bay fans. Their hamburgers are also really good.

The male manager was very kind and genuinely attentive—he went above and beyond to try and make things right, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the YouTube hype, especially the steaks. While the portions were generous, the flavor and quality just didn’t meet expectations. Honestly, the chefs could use a refresher on how to properly cook a steak. Another nearby party of four echoed the same sentiments, so it wasn’t just us. What really stood out—negatively—was the service from two of the waiters. They were dismissive and subtly rude in a way that might not be obvious at first, but definitely left a bad impression

The resort we stayed at suggested Jacksons for late lunch after a long flight. The food is adequate. A decent burger and beer will satisfy us when looking for quick and simple. It is a local bar with a football theme and lots of locals there for the drinks and sports so it can get quite noisy. Several people at the resort told us there Prime Rib special on Monday nights is awesome but we did not try it. Would I go again if in the area? Maybe

I was staying over on the west side of the highway and decided to give this place a try after reading various blog recommendations. Very easy to rideshare there, seated quickly, and ordered the steak with baked potato and veggies, and a beer. The meal was very good, not top tier, but still very respectable for a mid-budget offering. There were many families there and it was not very noisy. In the right situation, I would return, but I'm also into exploring other similar options in Las Vegas.

Stopped in to watch a Packer game with a large group of 15-20 people. They were very accommodating and reserved a large table for us when we called ahead. The food was good and the fellow Packer faithful were a blast to cheer on our team with.

I'm not sure about the last couple reviews but we had a very good meal. My wife had the rib eye steak very well prepared and large. I just had a Philly cheese-steak. Our server was very attentive and knew the menu well. I would say the restaurant is two miles west of Gold Coast casino on Flamingo. It's a typical Vegas style bar with video poker etc. with a non smoking dining room. This is also a good place to watch NFL football and is a Green Bay Packer Bar. A good place we will be back. Great funky bar and restaurant. Certainly not Vegas opulent but a fun bar and a spare but functional dining room with clean bathrooms. Service is very and attentive. The steaks were excellent cuts of meat and cooked perfectly. Where can you find a one pound ribeye for $20 in Vegas? We are locals and we’ll be back for sure.

This is a Packers Bar. Great drink prices and friendly staff. We have dined here in the past and the food is very good. This time it was for a cold beer.

This place looked good on the outside. The food and beer was OK. Holly the waitress was great. However my cousins girlfriend was a little disinterested in the game we were watching. So she moved around the bar and spoke casually with a few of the customers. She happened to have a conservation with a single guy that apparently made Tia behind the bar jealous. So Tia cut my friend off even though her intake of alcohol had been minimal . I'd only had one beer by this time and I thought I would ask Tia her side as to why our friend was cut off. When I politely informed her this was a bar, a place where people tend to socialize Tia cut me off. She's jealous and crazy and I would stay way from this place.

Just got back from a Nascar weekend. I have wanted to try Jackson's for the past 3 years and finally made it. We went in Monday night which is Prime rib night. I think it was 16oz Prime Rib with a baked potato for $12.99. So at that price I wasn't expecting much but the Prime Rib was wonderful. It was a large cut but it had about 3 OZ. of fat on it which probably added flavor but was discarded but you still ended up with 13 or so ounces of wonderful Prime Rib meat that you could cut with a fork. So tender and full of flavor, the crust had a nice herb seasoning on it. it came with Horse Radish and Au jus and a nice baked potato. Service was great, food was great and if you are thirsty you can have two pitchers of PBR for $11. Lots of parking and easy to get to. the rest of the menu looked great to. i can't wait to go back. Our whole party of 4 gives Jackson's 2 thumbs up

We stopped here for dinner, and wondered at first whether we should stay. It just looks like a bar, but the staff was very friendly and the food was amazing. I got a Lobster tail and several huge shrimp and my husband had a Filet Mignon and the huge shrimp. Reasonable prices and yummy food!

Off the strip a bit, but the steak is one of the better steaks we have had in Las Vegas. This is another must stop for us when we are in Las Vegas. The strip steak dinner with potato and salad is only $9.95.

This place is a real find. We had just popped into the post office next door and were starving. We had to eat something fast! This place was open and we hesitated going in because we were sure it was going to be a dive. Anyway we were desperate. Upon entering, it is a bit dark and dingy... And there are a few locals dining and drinking. But don't let this put you off!! We ordered something off the menu, the prices are such good value!!! I was expecting to have some slop delivered to or tables. How wrong I was!!! The food was so tasty, best chips I've had in a long while. My boyfriend had the triple decker Club sandwich. The serving size was unbelievable, also it was delicious!!! Service was attentive and pleasant, patrons were friendly. Don't be put off this place is excellent!!!

Great food, good pricing. Open 24 hours a day. Off the strip a ways. Sports bar atmosphere. Friendly hosts. Steaks were juicy and tender. Even have veggies and dip on the menu for anyone wanting to eat a little lighter. I ordered a great omelette for breakfast. Was the best I have tasted. My husband enjoyed the steak for supper and breakfast. Cooked to perfection!

We found a deal on restaurant.com, if smoke really offends you be careful. There is smoking but its not perfect. Great big rib-eye $12.99. Thick and cooked perfect. So big was that we were full, had a snack, and flavored our chili. Very pleasant staff.

This spot has high reviews and it’s a bummer that our experience was far from that … if your customer service was slightly better we could have maybe liked it . Very unprofessional and rude . Rolling your eyes and kicking the door to thee kitchen because you are a bit upset is beyond me I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT in this trash hole . Even if the food was cheap and good based on the reviews. If you have no good customer service then nothing is worth it

not a great place....after 20 mins i didnt quite understand the decor and theme of the place. smells very bad...like they only got the carpets cleaned in 1999. there is a huge window that is very dirty. i ordered my steak well done and it came out rare. awesome customer service though. nachos did not look good and were not good either. took over one hour to get our lunch and there is no musix or any atmosphere other than the football game on full volume.

Superb food and atmosphere..Very excellent service and superior food.. Reasonable prices for the food and beverages..
Fun "locals" bar. Very good food
Great place to watch sports and have a ice cold beer. They have a very good steak special. If you like the Packers, you will love this bar. Friendly bartender. I shall return.
