Best food we have had in a while. We tried both vegetarian and meat dishes and loved everything. Definitely try this place if you enjoy Indian food.

This place is right around the corner, so I decided to try it. I will definitely be coming back I got the Bagari Shrimp, which came with some veggies, naan bread, rice and a dessert. Everything was delicious, they didn't skimp on spice (I ordered the shrimp spicy, and they definitely delivered.) The shrimp were massive, which was good because there were only 3 of them. It ended up being plenty, and it was all delicious. Note: The addition of the cake ball in some kind of syrup (I think it's called Gulab Jamun) was a nice surprise as I'd never had it before. Definitely recommend, looking forward to trying other dishes here!

I travel to India regularly and love the cuisine...Decided to try this place after seeing signs on Monroe. Great food and friendly service. Spiced just right and not too oily. Will definitely be back!

Met someone here for a business dinner recently. It's a little hard to find, but well worth it. The food is simply awesome. We tried several appetizers and entrees and it was all top-notch. Prices were very reasonable as well. Will definitely go back next time I am in Atlanta.

My wife and I ordered a chicken biryani and weren't sure what to expect. The quantity was large and the taste to our liking. We found the spices used just right for our taste.

I arrived right when they opened for dinner so there was no one else there. The restaurant has simply decor and open space concept. There's also a small patio too. I had the Masala chai and dry sparkling cucumber water. For food I ordered the spinach chaat, lamb kabab, and garlic naan. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. I will be back again very soon.

Outstanding lunch buffet included dosa, very moist tandoori, rich tikka masala, yummy paneer and saag. Everything was distinctively tasty and aromatic esp cauliflower and peas. Multiple desserts. Best midtown Indian for sure!

I took my family here after seeing the Christmas lights at the Botanical Garden, It was an easy walk and the food and service were very good. Loved it all!!

Best Indian food in Atlanta. Location is a little tucked away, but the service, atmosphere, and quality was worth the find.

Have eaten here twice, and both times the food was awesome. Lamb shank, lamb saag, tandoori shrimp, pappadums, and the “Bang Bang Broccoli “ were all fresh, hot and delicious. The lamb shank was melt in your mouth tender- and the curry veggies and rice that come with were a meal in itself. Want to go back and try the Tandoori duck breast and the Tandoori sea bass. Never crowded, easy parking and had good service (as well as a full bar). It’s in the bottom of a condo building at the dead end of the street- so I think it gets missed by folks- so make the worthy trip!

This was a wonderful restaurant ... me and my family had breakfast here... the staff also very nice ..

Tried this place while visiting Atlanta with family. Not in the most visible location and hidden from the main roads so was skeptic but once inside the ambience was very inviting. Great food selection for all tastes from north to South Indian. Tried many dishes such as Samosa chaat, non veg kebab sampler, butter chicken and dosas and all were delicious and fresh. service was very good and host was full of great information and very helpful. We even took a soda to go and he packed it up so nicely for us. Will return next time for sure!

We have been here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The food and staff are always great , professional and attentive.

This is a lovely venue , the food is always good and tasty . I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a night out . Needs to bit more variety but otherwise great

We were staying in midtown Atlanta and looking for a nearby Indian restaurant. Jai Ho had good reviews and was close by. They have both outside and indoor seating. Service was good. Food was excellent ... the chicken chettinad was superbly flavored and so was the chicken biriyani. Chicken tikka was ok. Overall a good experience. A bit pricey but good value.

I rarely give 5 stars. We stopped for lunch, dined outside on shaded patio. People were very helpful and friendly, great service. The food is superb, a fully lunch for $13-14. The interior looks very nice, but we enjoy dining outside when our weather allows, and it did despite the day being on the warm side because of the trees. Right next to beltline and park. Great place.

The food here is always good and has lots of heat for someone who is used to hot Indian food in England. All the dishes I have had are excellent. Also eating out on the patio in the good weather is lovely.

This place is absolutely wonderful! The staff, owner, and patrons are all amazingly friendly and a joy to have a meal with. The food is amazing, especially the garlic naan. If you go, order the garlic naan!! Again, garlic naan! Good & drinks are Incredibly affordable and you will not regret stopping by this restaurant. Garlic naan.

Brunch in Atlanta is weird. Sundays are crazy, and if you have your mind set on a mimosa or a bloody mary forget it until it is too crazy to get in anywhere. Consider a Saturday brunch, and Jai Ho has one of the best. Walkable from the Beltline. Plenty of parking. Now, the food...seven or eight steam trays on a buffet. Everything from the reliable chicken tandoori to stuff you may not have heard of. Things I had never tasted before. Not crazy spicy, just a lot of really great Indian comfort food. Rice crepes made on order to wrap things in. Great attention to service, unlike mentioned in my first review. I liked the "make your own pain puri" bar. Get this: It's $15 for all you want. Arguably the best Saturday brunch in town.

Someone told me about this place awhile back and just now was able to check it out. The location is hard to find as it sits on the bottom floor of the Belvedere building on Dutch Valley Road. It is really tucked away . But, they have a side parking lot specifically for the restaurant. I went with three friends for lunch on a Saturday. They have indoor and outdoor seating and we were able to sit outside on the patio that overlooks the beltline. On Saturday and Sunday, they have a buffet from 12-3, so we took advance of that. They had a very good selection on the buffet ranging from chicken tikka marsala, sauteed beef, two different types of chicken wings, lamb, naan bread and many other items. It was delicious. The service was very good and the prices are very reasonable. This is a great indian food option for Atlanta and great for people of all ages.

We were thrilled to try this new Indian restaurant on Dutch Valley. We've had many meals in the location in previous incarnations of restaurants, none of which lasted very long. I hope this one does. It was only medium crowded on a Saturday night. The service and food were great. Lamb korma, naan with nuts and raisins were a highlight for me. the other 3 in my group were all veggie and had a ton of choices and enjoyed their meals too. Prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommended

Great quality food, delicious flavors, extensive menu, excellent friendly service. We really like this spot for consistently good Indian food. Environment is good for families with nice sized round tables.

Four of us had dinner on Friday night, it was so good we went back on Saturday night. The food was excellent. We especially liked the chicken tikka, it was tender and flavorful. We also enjoyed the rosemary naan bread. This new restaurant is a real gem.

My wife, and I met another couple for dinner at this new Indian restaurant in the Ansley area of Atlanta. It is located on a cul-de-sac off Monroe Drive, a short distance from Piedmont Road, and we went early on a Sunday evening. There is free parking right outside the restaurant, and both indoor and outdoor seating (on a terrace) options are available. The dining room has large windows that look out on the terrace and some landscaping, and the decor is neutral. We were seated right away, and given as much time as we wanted to review the menu and wine list. Prices are around $20 for entrees, some less and a few more. There are many different items available from appetizers and small plates to a la carte selections, meat and meatless choices, vegetarian and vegan dishes, and "street food.". This is definitely NOT your typical Indian corner curry-house, and there should be something appealing on the menu for everyone. Our server was friendly, attentive, well-informed and professional. We started with the Jai Ho Sampler, a platter consisting of pakora, veggie samosa, chicken tikka and chicken wings. and the $14 selection gave all 4 of us a taste of the different items. The entrees are cooked to order, and all were well-received including Palak Paneer (veggies and cottage cheese), Meen Molee (excellent salmon), Goat Vindaloo (hot/spicy) and Fish in Banana Leaf (tilapia on menu, but chef substituted pompano). The entrees came with sides of brown rice and bread. We shared a mango dish for dessert. The diner can specify "mild" or "medium," and "hot/authentic" is available for the more experienced palate! All the dishes had a nice presentation, and tasted fresh and delicious. The owners of the restaurant have several Asian markets in the Atlanta area, and this is their first foray into the restaurant world. We were impressed and will definitely return.

First time trying Indian food and it was delicious. Went for the Sunday buffet and everything that I tried was amazing.

Jai Ho is in a modern, updated building, larger on the inside than it looks from the outside with room for large groups if desired. The decor is lovely and the service is very good. It is right off the Beltline as well. We came as a group of 10 and had wonderful meals, sampling different dishes, many of which were vegetable based. The sauces were not overly heavy and the baskets of naan which we ordered were light and fragrant. The dishes were also plated attractively. There is an excellent wine list and I noticed selections of cocktails as well.

Very good food. We highly recommend the Tikka masala. So many of the offerings sound great. Very attentive and friendly wait staff, manager and owner. Attractive restaurant, only a few streets off Piedmont Avenue. What a wonderful change to find a restaurant where the food is not all fried, overly salty or greasy, and doesn't have bacon in everything - and no need for valet parking. Reasonable prices.

we really enjoyed the sampler appetizer. Wish we'd had a better explanation of the foods on it. Our entrees were good, but not as tasty as similar ones we'd had a different restaurants. Wait staff was helpful and attentive.

Came for a food tour left with a new must have Indian spot! Had a Samosa and a Panipuri which were amazing and perfectly spiced and warming!

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, this is a restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and wonderful, authentic food. Owner/chef Anish Nair is enthusiastic and quite nice. Jai Ho has definitely made the rotation.

Can’t wait to go back! Wonderful service and great food. Drink menu was extensive for an Indian restaurant,

Tucked away on a street off Monroe, Jai Ho Indian Kitchen & Bar is one of the more contemporary Indian restaurants I've eaten in. It's also spacious and conducive to having a conversation. The specialty here is Pondicherry (French-Indian) food. Many of the items on the menu were new to me. Our party of four shared each of the dishes we ordered, which included; Lamb Rogan Josh, Lamb Sheesh Kabab, Ckicken Korma and Shrimp Saag. This is a great way to experience several different flavors. While all the dishes were very good, the two that stood out the most were the Lamb Sheesh Kabab and Shrimp Saag. A couple of orders of excellent Garlic Naan completed our meal. Jai Ho offers a wide range of dishes at varying prices, which should make everyone happy. The welcoming and professional staff made for an enjoyable dining experience. All our needs were met. For drinkers, a full bar is offered. Additionally, the restaurant has outdoor seating and free parking. On weekends, a reasonably priced buffet is offered from 12 - 3PM. My new Go-To Indian restaurant.

My colleagues and I had lunch here recently. Pros: Nice size parking lot which is really nice in Atlanta. The food was excellent -- very tasty! We especially liked the lamb, curried vegetables and the tikka masala! The medium spiced dishes were spot on! The restaurant is actually quite large and very airy & bright. It overlooks part of Piedmont Park. The prices are very good! :) Cons: The waiter was somewhat clueless and kept having to run back to the chef to get answers for our questions about items on the menu. The dinner menu is quite large - the lunch menu NOT so much. Also, most disappointing to me - the portions for lunch were VERY small. Truthfully, I will not go back for lunch -- but will definitely try again for dinner.

Our entire group of 8 all ordered dinner at Jai Ho inside of Krog Market because of how delicious the meals looked and smelled. Many of us ordered the Chicken Tikki Masala and loved the flavors. The garlic naan was massive (I wish I took a picture before I ate it all). Another popular dish was the chicken curry and butter naan. It’s a little pricey but worth every penny for the quality and quantity. Highly recommend if you enjoy eating Indian food!

Jai Ho offers a mix of traditional Indian favorites like Chicken tikka masala and fusion dishes that reflect coastal southern Indian standards. We had the mussels pepper fry for our appetizer and the lamb shank and whole snapper for our mains. Everything we chose was beautifully cooked and delicious. The lamb shank was falling off the bone and the gassi sauce paired perfectly with it. We rounded out yet meal with the gulab jam pie, a fun and interesting take on a standard Indian dessert. Will definitely go back.

I am so sad to have to post this. We have eaten at Jai Ho since they opened. We have always enjoyed their food. I had such an awful experience today. We ordered from Uber eats and we were missing an item. I called the restaurant and let them know that we were missing one out of two Sag Paniers. The person argued that I only order 1 three times in a row as I reviewed the receipt. I let him know that I would drive down to show him and went to Krog street market. When I arrive the individual stated that he looked at the online order noted that I was correct. At that point I stated that I wanted my money back. He looked ant me and said that he had to call his boss. He put me on the phone with him and the owner stated that the Uber driver must have stolen the order. As I tried to explain that his employee already stated that that they were wrong the owner said take it up with Uber we don’t get the money… I said that it is awful that you are blaming Uber for your mistake as he continued to talk over me. I let him know that I will just post my displeasure online. He then said he would give me a gift card which I did not accept. I’m so sad that I will no longer eat hear ever again. The food is great but the people are dishonest. What a shame.

This place is fantastic. Food was great. Service was also great. Super friendly staff. Chef came and talked to us. You should come here for your fix of Indian food :)

I have been to Jai Ho many times. The food is always top notch. As an appetizer, you should try the spinach chaat. If you are looking for a new dish to try, I recommend the chicken chetinad. The tikka masala is great as well. Nick, the bartender makes great drink and is always ready with good conversation.

Love the food in this place which is the closest I’ve found to real Indian food in the US. The restaurant itself is very clean and well taken care of but somehow doesn’t have a warm feeling. The patio is cozy and you still get great service but of course isn’t great when it’s hot and humid out. Try the dosa!

Jai Ho was a fantastic find! Service was friendly and helpful, Chef recommended great drinks. This should be you first stop for Indian food in Atlanta!

What a GEM! We ordered several small plates and 2 dinners for the 4 of us to share. Every dish was exceptional. I cannot believe what a great dinner we enjoyed! Service top drawer too.

Terrific food from this restaurant. Been here several times over the past year for dinner, plus tasted their offerings when they've catered a private event elsewhere. We've also ordered take out. The food quality is consistently good and creative. Most Indian restaurants do a better job on vegies or meats than they do fish/seafood. I tend not to order fish or shrimp--almost always overdone. Jai Ho does all of it well--the squid/calamari, sea bass and red snapper are my favorites. Only problem I can think of is that when restaurant fills up, the service slows down, so if you see the tables are full, try and get everything ordered at the same time--especially drinks from the bar.

Food is best in atlanta ...their paneer tikka and chicken 65 is the bomb. A must for all diners and indian foodies.

Fantastic food, servers very nice and attentive. This is one of the best hard to find little known places. Enjoyed sampling different foods on bar.

Four of us were there on a Sunday for lunch. Place has been opened since only a week. It is a honor to write the first trip advisor review for this fine restaurant. We were very impressed by decor, service staff and the great tasting Fusion Indian cuisine they offer. They have special items from the region of Kerala in India and it is a delight. We ordered appetizers, Meen Moli (fish curry Kerala style), Egg plant curry, Chettinad mixed vegetables. naans and desserts. They were all superb and everyone had a good time. The chef came and talked to us and gave some interesting recipe ideas for Kerala cuisine. We were very pleased with the whole experience. Highly recommended.

This was the first visit and we expect to go back. We happened to go on Mothers Day and they were serving a buffet - everything including dessert. I believe the Buffet is normal for lunch; not sure if the dessert buffet is standard. The food was delicious. Meat, vegetarian, and vegan suitable. They had all sorts of dishes. My favorite, Tikka Masala, had a smokiness which is unusual but really good. The atmosphere is quite nice. They have a nice patio too. There seems to be plenty of parking. Just turn down Dutch Valley and go to the back, the restaurant is located on the right. The staff was really friendly. The drinks took a bit to get but they were good. We are looking forward to going back in the evening to try their regular menu.

So glad we discovered Jai Ho’s Mother’s Day buffet - the food was excellent, just like the restaurant’s name sake movie/song. Great Value. Very fresh, varied and a modern twist. A wide selection of traditional “finger foods” as well as Curries and Biryani. The mango mousse and the rice pudding for dessert were lovely. Nice open space, modern comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and kind. Looking forward to returning to eat off their regular lunch or dinner menu.

Amazing food and wonderful service! Had the Chicken Saag and chicken tikka masala and they were both incredible! The owner was super accommodating. Just all around perfect.

One thing that makes this place different from other Indian restaurants in Atlanta is the menu which is different then most of the restaurant which have pretty much standard food that is being served. Food was good and tasted good. Loved it. Service was bit slow but it's okay. Overall this place is good and worth giving a try. Been to many Indian restaurant in Atlanta and by far this is the one which provides best value for money and food quality. Will visit again and hope the quality remains same. Ambiance is okay and has scope for improvement. It has a full service bar but did not try it. Saving it for my second visit.

This place is remarkable. Large, clean, and modern venue with outside seating and big Some classic fare with some things you probably have not heard of. All fresh and delicious. Enourmous vegetable samosas (2 w/sauces). We also had the Bang Bang Broccoli, which was hella spicy without going over the top. Wife had Saag Paneer. I got the Chicken Kadai. Generous portions. Prices are extremely reasonable.Service was a bit off...not particularly slow as we went very early and there were only three seated tables...but a lot of returns to the table to clarify our order. All in all, a GREAT place. They also have buffets on Saturday and Sunday. Check out their website.

I had a good experience at this Indian restaurant in Atlanta. Nice folks working there, and good service. I got Tiki Masala that was really spicy and good though a little light on the chicken. It's not cheap, but worth it in my opinion. I'd recommend it.

We had 5 in our group. Dined last week.Recently opened Jai Ho is a very welcome addition to the Atlanta gastronomic scene. Located in Midtown in a very nice neighborhood with plenty of free parking. The decor is contemporary. Well presented, creative & flavorful Indian cuisine. One of the few restaurants which also serves very well prepared selected South Indian dishes, like Malabar Prawns, Chicken Chetinad, Cochin fish. Good selection of appetizers & vegetarian dishes. Ingredients used were fresh. Attentive & friendly service.Noise level moderate. Innovative cocktails. Excellent experience. Would visit again.

Delicious Indian cuisine prepared by a team led by a French-trained chef that's well priced and served quickly. The masala dosa was perfect. Shrimp, chicken, and lamb curries surprised with the complexity and innovation of their spices. Saag paneer was elevated from the usual by larger chunks of cheese in a pureed bright green spinach sauce. A rich cabernet sauvingon is a solid choice for this food.

Best Indian food we've had in the US. Almost as good as we get in the UK. Staff were helpful and attentive. Will definitely return before our holiday is over
Good food, a few rough edges
Parking seemed a bit limited, but was adequate for the Sunday lunch crowd. The restaurant is located at the end of the street and the lot is just to the left as you turn in their driveway. We got here on Father's day shortly after noon. They were setting up for (apparently) an extra-large buffet (this was our first visit, so I'm guessing here). It took a few minutes for them to get the set-up complete and alert the diners that the food was ready. The physical layout of the restaurant is an L-shape. You enter at the top of the L and the 'vertical' part is where the bar and the buffet is located. It was a bit narrow for the size of the buffet, but would be fine if you came when they did table service, I think. The 'horizontal' of the L is the main dining area. You also have views out into the greenery, which is pretty dense such that you cannot see beyond it to Piedmont Park or the skyline. There is also a smaller patio outside the windows. The buffet was roughly divided between meat dishes on one side and vegetarian on the other. They also had two small tables of just desserts, but that may have been for Fathers Day. Some, but not all, of the dishes were labeled. The Chicken Tikka Masala was especially good. I think one of the other dishes was Saag Paneer, which I also liked. There was one dish (unlabeled) that looked like Panang curry, but was probably something similar from India. They had a small table of vegetables/salad-fixings + dressing, which was good. I sampled two chocolate desserts (small pieces) but skipped the 'chocolate beet cake' and the mango cheesecake. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, though there were a lot of them and not quite all the tables had filled up yet. Water refills were a bit slow, though sometimes you got refilled twice within a couple of minutes after a lull. My only real complaint was that I only saw one table get Naan, which was not available at the buffet. I don't know what happened to the rest of the Naan, but that one basket was the only one I ever saw during our meal. The 'special buffet' was $19.99, but it appears that is higher than on a normal Sunday. Overall, I liked the food taste / quality a lot, but they have some rough edges to smooth out otherwise. We'd probably go back, but I think we'd try a dinner slot where menu-service was available, as a comparison.
