This is my second time to Jaleo. And for the second straight time, the open fire paella was the star of the dinner. Here are a couple suggestions. First, small plates while you wait for paella is a great way to go. Second, stick with beer or wine. The craft cocktails are wonderful, but very small. I had the margarita Iberic, which was fabulous. But it came in a very small glass and half of it was foam. More of an $18 shooter versus a drink. And wait for the paella made in the large pans versus the individual offering.

Lovely service, lovely food and good value for money, we really enjoyed all the dishes we selected and the waiters and waitresses were very efficient. They even offered to explain anything on the menu we didn't understand. The only thing a little off-putting was a party fairly near to us brought a dog in - not that he was misbehaving but i have a fear of dogs so was a little unnerving for me

Found by chance wandering around the various hotels we stopped , very very nice quick and kind staff, dishes tasted good their ham wow and queso cake or whatever you want to call ceasecakefavolosaaaađđđđđ not cheap but you know here nothing is đ!!!!

This rating is not so much based on the food but the experience ... I am sure the food would have been delicious since there were so many yummy looking descriptions ... but the place was packed and I sat at the "bar" and my server Michael unfortunately was either very overwhelmed or just decided he was going move in slow motion. It took almost 10 minutes after being seated just to get water and after the water was poured it took another 5-10 minutes before he returned to take my order. When I was able to order I ordered the chistorra envuelta and the cono sobrasada y queso for starters. The chistorra was very tasty ... I had not had anything like that before ... and would order again. The $5 goat cheese cone ... although tasty ... def not worth $5 ... at least not for the amount/size ... I mean I get it ... it is a fancy little cone and despite decent taste...I had to laugh when they brought it out to me. Again I would have ordered more but the process was just taking way too long for my tastes so I decided to leave.

Server Nina and staff are wonderful! Professional, well-informed, helpful. Our six dishes ranged from 4 star to 5 star: the chorizo sausage dish was good but a bit too bland. The tres leche cheese was good but aged and hard--not what i expected from the "creamy" description, and the nuts were too much like peanut brittle. But those dishes were good, and our veggie dishes were really great. And the goatmilk cheesecake was to die for, though perhaps too large. The manager stopped by and was wonderful. My 2 quibbles: 1. We went early, hoping to catch them less busy, with more 'covid safety buffer,' but they sat everybody who came later right by us, when most of the restaurant was still empty. Would be great (and safer) if they spaced the diners out when possible. 2. Their bread is all white wheat flour...nothing GF or whole grain. It would be so easy to make the rest of us happy, and for a $200 dinner the restaurant should be able to have a healthier bread choice handy. The manager said it's all about authenticity and i get it, but it sure feels like a poor choice. We donate to Chef Jose's relief efforts, and were excited to try his restaurant!

Best tapas experience in Vegas. We loved all the tapas the service was fantastic. The pan de crystal con tomate was a great way to start the evening followed by the embutido selection was fantastic. The service was great, is a lively restaurant. We will visit again.

My second trip to Jaleo - truly, the food is AMAZING. Lots and lots of food choices in LV (and Iâm a foodie), but the tapas are to die for. Excellent service and just a wonderful dining experience. Canât wait to go back (again).

People were excellent but the food was a stretch for me. I guess Spanish is simply not my taste. The eberico ham was an experience. 4 years of aging is a long time. The bar tenders would be reason to come back.

I needed some time to kill and it was almost dinner time when I found out Jaleo has something called 'Sangria Hour', which is their happy hour. It's daily at the bar from 5-7. I got there at about 6:40 and overall, it was a bit empty, and the bar was probably only about half full. I don't think a lot of people know about it because they don't advertise it. Even when I sat down and they gave me the menu, they didn't initially give me the Sangria Hour menu - I had to ask for it. Luckily, I still had enough time to order. I had: Patatas Bravas (fried potatoes with spicy tomato sauce and aioli) - these were a little basic. It could have used a bit more flavor - maybe more spicyness? Endibias Con Queso de Cabra y Naranjas (endives with goat cheese, oranges, almonds, roasted garlic dressing) - I normally don't like goat cheese but I really liked this. The oranges were refreshing, and I liked all the different flavors together Pan con Tomate (toasted bread with fresh tomato) and added Manchego cheese - can't go wrong with tomato bread! I probably could have eaten a few more of these They also have a few drink specials during Sangria Hour so next time if you're around during this time, check it out but just be sure to ask for the menu!

This is one of our favourite go to restaurants in Vegas. The tapas menu is innovative and tasty. The service is helpful and very friendly. Jaleo is always a fun dining experience.

We had a large party of nine and cannot say enough great things about the experience. We had a reservation for our group of nine friends on Friday 1/21 at 7 pm. We were lucky enough to be put in a private room - the wall paper on three quarters of the walls was made to look like a library or study. The other quarter was enclosed in glass. The room had a huge round table with a lazy Susan in the middle. The private room really made a big difference. It was great to be in a separate setting where conversation was held easily with anyone in the group. We did not ask for a private room nor were we charged for it. (Perhaps they could tell our group of 9 middle aged men that had been gambling for hours would be loud.). I would recommend at least ASKing about the room. Brittany was our waitress and she was amazing. She was patient, attentive, enthusiastic and had great recommendations. We had 20+ tapas and many drinks and she handled it all perfectly. I loved the garlic shrimp but really all the food was very good.

I was so excited about being invited by an old friend to eat here. I was not disappointed. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious! The tomato bread and gazpacho were so fresh and tasty. The other tapas were also excellent. It is a little noisy.

It is the best Spanish food I have ever eaten outside of Spain. The quality of the ingredients, the presentation, the care taken over the preparation make this a dining experience you won't forget. The only person who made better food was my Grandmother in Madrid. You will not be disappointed if you dine here!! You must make a reservation, it's hard to get a table.

Excellent food. Tapas. Highly recommended. Small plates. Las Vegas strip pricey but worth it if your in town and want a decent meal.

My wife and I cancelled our reservation at Cathedrale deciding instead to eat here and we were pleased to have done so. I am a coeliac and there was a wide choice for me from a specific allergen menu. We opted for a selection of tapas and a paella to finish. All dishes were excellent especially the Iberico ham with caviar. To drink we had a carafe of sangria which was also very good. Our only problem was that we ate and drank far too much (as we had enjoyed some pre-dinner cocktails at Vanderpump) which caused us to fall asleep during the Cirque du Soleil "O" show!!!! Other reviews are correct about the noise level but we ate early and found it to be okay. It was not a cheap meal but excellent in every way including the service. Would highly recommend.

The hostess, waiter and even bus staff were impersonal, creating an unwelcome vibe. Tables and layout feel like a cafeteria. For the money this place not worth it.

We've visited Jaleo on every past visit to LV. Food and service have always been exceptional. On this trip we wanted to show it to our 6 friends but now sorry we did. After 8 dining experiences in LV on this trip this was the least memorable. Service was challenging. The server was difficult to understand and did not make much effort to excite the group about the potentially wonderful Paella experience. Veg paella by the plate was apparently unavailable. Potatas braves was exceptional. Espinas and Brussels were good but no one else raved about their dinner. Fortunately we had 7 other exceptional lunches/dinner in LV on this trip.

Such a wonderful experience overall! Great food! Great service! Friendly staff. Cool atmosphere. We had the SelecciĂłn de embutidos - which was so delicious! I also had the Espinacas a la Catalana & the Chistorra envuelta - both were delectable! Just thinking about our meal is making my mouth water. Our server was very helpful in guiding us with out selections, as I have a bunch of allergies. Don't miss this place! It's a very special treat!

We were staying in The Cosmopolitan and decided to try this restaurant as we both enjoy Spanish tapas. We booked a table as we knew it was popular. Lucky we did as it was almost full that evening. The atmosphere is very noisy so thankfully as a couple, we had a table at the back of the restaurant, otherwise on some of the small tables, you wouldn't have been able to hear each other. The food came out in the typical tapas style, in no particular order and meant to be shared. The food was very good quality. I can definitely recommend their flavoursome Pan de cristal con tomate!

Friendly and knowledgeable service. - Table in front room with great view of the large Paella pans over fire. One side of table had comfortable couch/bench to sit. Other side had the infamous very uncomfortable hard chairs that numerous other reviewers have mentioned. We were directly under a powerful ceiling fan so had change tables - The bellota Jamon appetizer with the tomato toast was fabulous and as good as you get in Spain. - The server recommended our cheese for the 3 cheese plate which were also fantastic. - We were party of 3 so unable to order a whole paella pan for ourselves. We were able to order a plate of traditional flavor paella to share. I asked for extra "socarrat" - the crispy scraping from the bottom/side of the pan. The famous Bomba rice bags are on display. The paella was fabulous. Perfectly cooked where the rice kernals popped in your mouth and were tender on the inside. Just the right amount of flavor and seasoning. It was served with extra socorrat as requested that was perfectly crunch. - Since Gin and Tonics are popular in Spain they had several to choose from. Unfortunately they use Fever Tree as tonic rather than making their own. I find Fever Tree to be way to sweet. - We enjoyed glasses of older (2007) CVNE white rioja and glasses of red "Jose's blend" - Garnacha/Tempernillo. - Nice, small complementary chocolate cones were delivered with the check. - Really enjoyable and authentic meal. Very knowledgeable and friendly server and staff. The nice lady serving water stopped by our table frequently for refills which is always a bonus for me and pays off the next morning.

Jaleo offers a "Sangria Hour" with specials between 5-7pm Sunday-Thursday. Make sure to ask for this upfront, because it is a separate menu and you might lose precious minutes waiting for the waiter to return with this menu. Also, note that the menu changes fairly frequently, so don't trust any Sangria Hour menus you see online. The drinks were good, we had a Sangria and a special Margarita. Food-wise, we enjoyed a few Cono bites and croquetas, and the spicy roasted almonds (they are quite spicy). Note that this is a tapas style place, and the "bites" are literal tiny bites of food. You'll have to order a lot of these bites to feel any kind of food satisfied, but just a few will pair nicely with drinks.

We tried the Jaleo in Washington DC this summer and had a great experience. When the opportunity presented itself to try the Las Vegas location, we were eager to return. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We had ordered off the a la carte in Washington and decided to try the tasting menu in Las Vegas. Almost all the tasting menu items were available on the a la carte menu but the portions were smaller compared to what we had in Washington. We left hungry. We should have ordered a la carte, it would have saved us money and perhaps not need to go for pizza afterwards. The service was great, though.

The food was great! We usually go to Julian Serrano Tapas in ARIA, but we liked the food here better. Nothing we had was bad. Like a lot of other reviews, the only downside is the noise. Why do you need thumping music so loud that people yell at each other? Huge disappointment. The server could not hear us ordering, we couldn't hear her, frustrating. Not a great dining experience.

Great experience at Jaleo after a wonderful cirque du soleil Show at the Bellagio (DEFINITELY recommend seeing 'O'!). We were a group of 6 who claimed not to be too hungry so tapas was perfect for us. However, once we started eating, we couldn't stop! The service was EXCELLENT- attentive, but not overbearing. And the food was exceptional. Wanted to go back the next day, but we didn't end up having time, but so glad we went.

This place was a great stop gap for a 3pm or dinner/late night. The food is good and the service was amazing !

If you are a foodie and enjoy tasting menus, e' at Jaleo is a MUST DO! We enjoy exploring new places that offer a chefs table or tasting menu. This was our second visit and we loved it as much the second time as the first. It is more than just a meal, it is show!

I had a great culinary experience at Jaleo- Las Vegas. I went during happy hour and enjoyed their Spanish bramble mixed drink and several tapas - patatas bravas - fried potatoes in a red sauce 4/5. Very good! - Endibias con huevo de salmon ahumada - endive leave with orange, goat cheese, almonds, roe- 5/5, creative and so tasty - croquetas de pollo - tastes like chicken pot pie chicken in a deep fried bite, 4/5. Very good! Non happy hour tapas - costillas de Cordero - lamb in a honey rosemary sauce. 6/5 SOO good! -pan con tomate 5/5, super good! Bread is flown in from Barcelona If definitely go back again but definitely during happy hour so I can try several items at a cheaper cost & smaller portions

We had an incredible experience! We couldnât decide on what to order so we let our waitress, Brittany, take the wheel and decide on all our tapas. She hit it out of the park! By far the best food and dining experience weâve ever had! 100% recommend and this will always be a place we eat when we visit Vegas!

Jaleo is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful Spanish food that is well prepared. I have been impressed with all of the meals that I have had from here. The staff here goes all out to make sure that you have everything that you need and more.

It was delicious as always, the recommendations from the server were not it but what I chose was great. Love the goat cheese peppers! Paella is a toss-up!

We've eaten at the Jaleo in DC, which was probably the first of the now ubiquitous Jaleo restaurants. The Vegas version in the Cosmo is just not very intimate--its mostly open to the hallway and its noisy. Most of the food was very good, as usual, but small things started to add up: an ingredient missing from a signature cocktail; terrible bread pieces cut on a bias (Spanish food needs hunks of bread to sop up good sauces like in the pan with the mussels); great Spanish wine list, but a wine recommendation from our waitress for a $100 Ribera del Duero was young and tannic--not a good choice. Vegas prices, especially at high-roller casinos on the strip, will always be high, but there are better restaurants around town.

The menu is full of wonderful sounding dishes. We ordered 9. All were exceptionally delicious, except the shrimp, which was very fishy. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, it's as noisy as a grade school playground. Even so, the food was so extraordinary that we'd happily eat here again.

Great selection of tapas, great rioja red wine. Favorite tapas plate was scallops- cooked perfectly with side of pea purée and octopus.

Me and my wife went here for our anniversary dinner, and wow was it an experience! Not only was the food exquisite, but the service was very pleasing. The place can get a bit loud at times, but nothing over the top. You can expect to pay around $100 per person at the minimum, but I can assure you it will be an amazing experience.

For any fan of legit Spanish food and music and wine, this is a MUST stop. I have been to Spain a few times and this restaurant legit transported me right back. Food - off the charts. Wine - amazing selection. Ambiance - so, so much fun. In a world of disappointing chef restaurants, you can tell Andres did not mail this one in. Such a refreshing, glorious celebration of the amazing Spanish culture and food, this will be a repeat visit every time Iâm in Vegas. Top notch!

After a fantastic meal at Bazar Meat, we had to visit Jaleo at our hotel to sample more of Jose Andre's creations. This review is for the Sangria hour (happy hour) only. The Spanish Bramble & the Sangria were both watered down as expected, the red wine (Evodia) was sufficient. HH tapas were all small to tiny portions but were mostly solid. The chicken fritters was piping hot & creamy, the shredded chicken inside was moist & delish. The fried shrimp was very credible with light coat of batter. Salmon tartar cone with salmon roe, endive leafs filled with goat cheese & salmon roe.. all these bold flavors pairedwell with drinks. The liquid olive (Ferran Adria) was not part of the HH menu but we still got it. It was a fine example of Spanish reconstructive cuisine. Some of these same items can be found on the Bazar Meat tasting menu up the strip. We can attest the qualities were comparable. Overall tis a cool place to get a glimpse of Jose Andre's reconstructive cuisine without destruction of your budget

José André's fabulous tapas restaurant in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. We enjoyed every course immensely and had many different Spanish wines by the glass. Service was impeccable. So many superb restaurants in Vegas to choose from. I highly recommend Jaleo.

Our daughters brought us here for dinner after a weekend in mid-October in Vegas to attend the âGot Backâ tour. The restaurant is inside the Hotel Cosmopolitan. It was amazing! It was decorated in the modernism style of Salvador Dali and a bit of Gaudi, too. Very colorful! We enjoyed a bevy of tapas (potatoes, olives, cauliflower), a pitcher of Sangria and shared a Spanish omelet. It was absolutely delicious! Our waiter, Edgar, was very good. Weâve been to Spain a few times and love it so it was a special treat to eat here!

We thought this would be a challenge for us as I don't eat meat and my hubby doesn't eat fish, but it was perfect! We could chose our own small items and share others, our waiter was so helpful too with his advice. Food was amazing, so tasty and fresh - lots prepared in the open kitchen area in the front of the restaurant.

This place has the best gazpacho I have ever tasted. It is a creamy gazpacho, a version I had never tried before. No crouton on top, no salsa-like look. Just a beautiful smooth, pink cold soup that is fantastic! The depths of flavor are like little explosions in your mouth. The charcuterie offered was also very good. The Iberico ham was excellent. Overall I loved the food here. Spanish-Basque food is my wheelhouse. But the vibe of this restaurant did not work for me. Not sure why, but I wasn't feeling any Spanish or Basque vibes. The music was definitely NOT Spanish, which was a shame. The prices dictate a better ambiance, I think. And a little more food. Translation: While the dishes were delicious, the prices were too high considering the ambiance. I'll be back to give it another try. And order extra gazpacho.

This is THE BEST Spanish restaurant in vegas !!!! OLĂ! Truly authentic Spanish food. Jaleo really delivers a unique Spanish experience . An Spanish Gem at the cosmo!!!

some of the best food in las vegas. small plates, but for a table of 4, I think 8 plates were enough. maybe we had 9. either way, we were stuffed. everything was high quality.

Best tomato bread outside of Spain! The eggplant was spot on. Gin & tonicâŠfantastic. It was the best tapas Iâve had outside Barcelona.

Paleo is a great place for well-prepared tapas. Excellent service with outstanding food. Ordering several small plates is fun, provides a lot of variety and makes it easy to try new flavors. We especially liked the scallops, the lamb chops and the selection of hams and sausages. Can't wait to return!

Had a great business dinner and thought Spanish food would be ideal. The food, service and menu was fantastic. The attendants checked in routinely and were friendly and conversational. The tapas were well portioned and flavorful. The different meats and cheeses with the croquetas and egg plant were great tapas. The main plate was salmon and then carne asada. Overall excellent staff, food and experience.

There isn't a thing we wouldn't order again. The dishes are generally pretty simple but they are executed perfectly. We will come here every time we are in Las Vegas.

Great food and service. Good, original tapas. Fast and Neat Service. But a big limp. You couldn't understand each other because of the noise that the many large groups produced. That's not so bad in a diner, but if you have to pay four hundred dollars, you don't expect to go home with a headache and earache, including sore throat.

Amazing food and good selection of choice on the menu Sangria was very tasty Service was amazing Amazing waiter Zahari you were amazing

I realize this restaurant is on the strip and I don't mind paying the prices if it is worth it but this wasn't. There was a review of this restaurant showing that they had paella and that is why my friends and I went there however we found out that they feature a different one every night and when we were there is was squid ink paella which none of us liked. We had to settle for "pan con tomato", "gammas al ajillo" and "carne piquillo", none of which were very good. Will not be going back there anytime soon

Jaleo creates a meal with small plates that foster sharing new tastes with family and friends. Everyone had their favorites and it was fun to try items one might not have ordered. The food was consistent and very good. Service really good - plates came out while still hot and spaced at a good pace.

I love Jose Andres as a citizen but less enamored of his work as a restauranteur - great wine list - friendly staff - but food just doesnât live up to high standards that youâd expect

The food quality was excellent, although small portions are to be expected for a Spanish tapas style restaurant. The prices were reasonable for a high end Vegas eatery.

Jose Andres is the Jay Z of Spanish cuisine -- he takes influences from modern cooking methods, truly scientific approaches to combining flavors, and old school staples of fish, olives, and pork and remixes tastes and visual presentation to delight every one of your senses (including sound, as you hear the paella cooks shouting when they complete a big pan). We found ourselves wondering how he derived things like the liquid (modern) olives, a dollop of pure taste and texture that will forever make me rethink green olives, and even simpler dishes like chicken croquettes were perfectly fried and served in a whimsical chicken-shaped dish. We ended up sharing about a dozen dishes for four people, and each one generated anticipation -- we were happily sated, not overly full, and the whole sea bass was better than any dessert as a final plate. Our waiter's recommendations were spot on, and he helped us balance portion size, count and flavor ranges. Move over Solomonov and Garces - we are now prime fans of Jose Andres.

I really wanted to try "e" (an exclusive restaurant located inside Jaleo), but wasn't sure my non-foodie husband would be as thrilled as I knew I would be, so we compromised on Jaleo. I just love everything Jose Andres has ever done, including his founding of World Central Kitchen, a non-profit devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters. He's an extremely talented chef and interesting guy with a gusto for life. We ordered the Tapas Tasting Menu and four other small plates and were more than satisfied. The tasting menu was a fantastic way to experience a lot of different tapas; 10 tapas (including a dessert), featuring a couple outstanding meat dishes (hangar steak - scrumptious!) and even some of the famous Iberico Ham as part of an asparagus dish. It's never cheap to eat at any of his restaurants, but it's so rare that I go to a place where almost every bite is followed by "wow"...a true foodie experience!

Jose Andeas is not only one of the worlds best Spanish Chefs he does amazing work through World Central Kitchen, which organises chefs from all over the world to supply food to front line workers in disaster areas - a true leader in the culinary arena. I love his food so Jaleo was on our list for this visit to Vegas, We arrived early thinking we would have a drink before dinner, but the bar was full. However, the Manager, Alex Torres, arranged a small table where we could sit and have a glass of wine until out table was ready - now that is service! Stuffed ourselves with Chicken Croquetas, Baby Artichokes, The Meat Selection, Calamares, and Prawns! The Chorizo Iberico in the meat selection was amazing. We had a bottle of Txomin Rose from the Basque region - excellent and went perfectly with our tapas. Fabulous food and seriously good service. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Cosmopolitan hotel. Quick service and good food. It is not recommended for those who want to eat in peace as it is quite noisy with the music and voices around. American prices, average. Worth trying though

Fantastic meal! Definitely get tips from your server, ours was great. We loved everything we had! My husbandâs fave was the chorizo casero & I loved the croquetas de pollo.

This was a great find! We tried it for a late meal after a show. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We will be back.

Came here for dinner with husband & my 2 teens. Was able to get a table without a reservation on a Saturday night. Ambiance very nice - lively but not too loud for conversation. Menu is tapas, so small plates to share and then paella which is made to order & takes 45 min. For 4 people, we ordered 5 tapas & the chicken paella to share. Also got a pitcher of the red sangria. Everything was delicious. Sangria was not too sweet & even my kids loved the food! Service was great too - friendly & attentive. Would go back.

FOOD: Authentic SERVICE: Excellent PRICE: Pricey but what isnât in Las Vegas these days. RESERVATIONS: Needed We stopped in late night after seeing a concert without a reservation and surprisingly immediately was seated at the bar. Food came out quickly and to my surprise was authentic. Pricey for Tapas (Tapas are not entree sized!) but expect in Las Vegas. I would return!

Very fun place with super unique menu! We enjoyed all of the tapas we ordered especially the butternut squash scallops, paella of the day, and flan with cinnamon cream and mango sorbet for dessert. The ambiance is fun and intimate. Our one complaint is the size of the drinks...very small for an expensive price, although they tasted good.

Jaleo Tapas Restaurant is a great option when you have 4+ people. Tapas style dining has become so popular and I for one, love it. Everyone can taste so many different dishes at one sitting without breaking the bank. We ordered 2 Tasting Menus along with a few other dishes and it was just the right amount of food for 4 of us. The Tasting Menu is wonderful - variety and diverse flavours. Too many dishes to list all of them - they all were delicious - but the Grilled Hangar Steak w/Piquillo Pepper Confit was one of my favourites along with the Grilled Octopus. We also had White Asparagus w/Oranges, Scallops w/Butternut Squash PurĂ©e, Fried Eggplant w/Honey, Anchovy on Toast w/Romesco Sauce & Tomato Fresco, Shrimp SautĂ©ed w/Garlic and on and on and on. It was an excellent meal all around. Iâm a fan of Jose Andres restaurants and Jaleo is no exception. I would definitely make a return visit next time Iâm in Vegas.

Words cannot express the food is excellence it a five star food. We had the tasting menu, if u donât know much about Spanish food. It was a right choice. Every dish was exceptional delicious. We enjoy the total fine dining at Jaleo

Love jose andres places/resturants and we always try to eat here when we come to Vegas. Our server Meglena is always attentive and great. We have tried almost everything on menu but love the pan con tomate, rossejat negra (squid ink pasta). You cant go wrong witih anything here!

We went for dinner because we would like to taste the paella. I'm from Portugal and there are many good paella restaurants here. The paella we tried was chicken with small industrial shrimps and sausage. 55USD for the small portion? Are you serious? So much money for this? Stay away from this place.

We went with the Tour of Espana Chef's tasting. Diverse sampling of a good bit of their menu. Do yourself a favor and choose the wine pairing!

My family and I really enjoyed the food at Jaleo. It's not easy to find real authentic tapas in the US, and we admire José Andrea for what he does, so we jumped at the opportunity while in Las Vegas. Everything was excellent. The place is a bit noisy, and oddly not super easy to find, inside the building, but overall the experience was super positive. We tried and shared multiple tapas and my wife and I enjoyed the white sangria made with cava (my first time). It's not a 5 because nothing of what we ordered blew our minds, but I would go back in a heartbeat and I highly recommend it.

Overall this was a great dining experience, but the restaurant is quite loud, hence the one-star reduction. We were a group of 5 and decided to do the chef's menu which turned out to be a fantastic choice. The paella was the main star of the show and since two of the group don't eat seafood, the paella was prepared sans seafood, and the chef sent over 3 shrimp/person for the other diners. The surprise dish of the "sugar" cone with smoked sausage, goat cheese and honey drizzle was a hit. Everything was fresh and tasty, and none of us left hungry.

What a fantastic meal!. We had the tasting menu and that is highly recommended. Because my dining partner was vegetarian and I am not, they went out of their way to bring me an additional meat add-on for each course, so I essentially got 10 tastes not just 5! The waiter was excellent. The manager was friendly and welcoming too. 10/10. Would dine again!

My wife and I went here while I was on a work trip. The menu has all your favorite Tapas dishes youâd expect and a great selection of cocktails and wines. The octopus was very well prepared, but I did expect a little more char, still tender and flavorful. The bacon wrapped dates were different from the traditional version. Here they are fried with goat cheese, which is very good, but the cheese kind of overpowers the candied date and bacon youâre probably expecting. The service was exceptionally good however and the cocktails were delicious, as was the sangria. The garlic shrimp, was fantastic and so were the endives. The real star was the flat iron steak which we ordered last and because my wife doesnât like medium rare I compromised for medium. We both thought it was the best dish, so flavorful and nice char while maintaining tenderness.

Mathew was the best server we could have possibly had! He had great recommendations (especially relating to portion sizes) and made us feel very welcome even though we stuck to tapas and sangria. And, wow - that is seriously one of the best meals Iâve ever had. The chefs have masterful command of flavor! I have recommended Jaleo to everyone Iâve talked to so far!

We had a great dinner at Jaleo last night. The shrimp and chicken thigh tapas are excellent. The mini pork burger is quite tasty. Interesting Spanish wines (although the glass pours could be more generous). Excellent service. We'll be back.

The food and service are great, but the noise level was so loud that the evening was unpleasant. In spite of how we feel about the food, we will not go back. We had the tomato bread with ham and manchego cheese to begin with. Then added chicken croquettes and gazpacho. All tasted wonderful. We had a bottle of Spanish Rioja wine that was overpriced--marked up X 4 on Vivino. So sad that the noise spoiled the evening.

The restaurant has an attractive and eclectic decor. They offer a few types of seating choices and the atmosphere is louder. They have a nice bar with a full menu for solo guests. - no reservations. The menu offers a good diverse selection of Spanish dishes. The tapas are a great way to go. I tried 4 tapas plates. They ranged from very good to excellent. The presentation was also nicely done. I fond the prices to be very good, for a total $65 + tip! More casual, yummy, friendly, and entertaining. Recommended Recommended

Our first tapas restaurant experience and it was amazing!! The food was so delicious. Chef Joseâs tacos and the cured ham were prepared and served table side. The paella was perfectly seasoned and the cheesecake dessert was unlike any we have ever had. Our server Zahari and server assistant Jersey were very attentive and Chef Javier knocked it out of the park to give us an unforgettable experience! We are already planning our next visit!!

We decided to try the sangria hour one evening because we used to go to Julian Serano Tapas in Aria for patatas bravas before they ruined them. After tasting the patatas bravas at Jaleo we were upset with ourselves for not trying Jaleo earlier. We ordered one of each item on the sangria hour menu and a glass of the red wine each. Every single bite was delicious. I literally ordered 3 of the small glasses of the gazpacho and wanted more. There was a dish which was a leaf of endive with supremes of orange, goat cheese and sliced almonds which seemed odd but was delicious. We can't wait to go back and have all of those dishes and much more.

This was the restaurant I was most looking forward to, but this outpost left a bit to be desired. The food just seemed a bit underwhelming and mechanical. The tapas tasted premade and stored. The paella was okay but really dry. Our waitress was difficult to flag down and brought the wrong drink, but as it was so difficult to put an order in in the first place I just gave up. We all agreed the China Poblano was a better overall experience for a Jose Andres restaurant.

We were in Vegas for a U2 show at the Sphere. We booked Jaleo because Jose Andres is an incredible human being and we love his Little Spain in NYC. Eating at the Cosmopolitan is like eating at a mall in Candyland but we shook that off (as we did much of Vegas) as some kind of weird anthropological study and were looking forward to a great meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, the small plates (patatas bravas, bacalao and sautéed spinach) were delicious, but to be served a soupy al dente paella with no hint of a soccarat at a restaurant Jose Andres gives his name to was so incredibly disappointing that it really did spoil the evening.

My husband and I went for an early dinner (5pm right when they opened) by 6pm all the tables were full. We ordered the 6 course tasting menu. Every course was delicious! Luckily, we were there on Wine Wednesday and all bottles were 50% off. The best was the dessert - flan which neither of us like, but this one was one of our favorite dishes during our whole visit in Vegas!

We had a delightful lunch at Jaleo, which is at the Cosmopolitan. We ordered tapas and finished with their delightful olive oil ice cream. Service was good.

I highly admire Jose Andre's and this is one of his restaurants. The staff was very helpful with suggestions and the ingredients of each dish. Everything I ordered was to die for!

This is our third time to Jaleo. Must say this visit would be third on the list of 3. It was very loud in the restaurant this night. All the appetizers were outstanding. We ordered the lamb paella and it was burnt at the bottem of the pan. We will most likely be back again, but not their best night. Regarding service, Nina was nothing short of fantastic! What a great server!

We had the best meal. Cannot stop thinking about it. I think I had to change our reservation 5x due to tournament changes but they were very accommodating including giving us champagne to celebrate our friend's recent award. All of the food was excellent. It was expensive but it was Vegas and worth it.

We went in for sangria hour so I could decide if Jaleo is where I'd have my birthday dinner. The bartenders were so great. Attentive without being invasive. Really nice, quick and professional. I couldn't sit in the bar stool for too long. Painfully uncomfortable. The happy hour drinks, a specialty cocktail and sangria, were just okay but only $8 so can't complain. Sangria was pretty comparable to authentic Spain but just wasnt feeling it. They also had red wine on special which was really good. The happy hour food was overall good but tiny portions so hard to get a good impression after one bite. But I would highly recommend getting the shrimp on happy hour, you get 2 shrimp but mine was delicious, lightly breaded with an aoili sauce. The bread with roasted peppers, eggplant and anchovies was a bit soggy so I passed after a small bite to try. The chicken fritter was okay maybe just not to my taste. We decided to go to Scarpetta for dinner instead and it was the right choice for us. 4 stars just because the service was so good.

Four of us shared 8 small plates at this fun restaurant. The food was very good and different. The portions were pretty small for the price tag but for a special occasion it was worth it.

We recently traveled to Las Vegas for a conference. It's been 6 years since we had dinner at @Jaleo. Make a reservation because you don't want to miss the amazing small plates and dessert. Each small plate was a new experience in culinary delight. The goat cheesecake was the highlight of our trip - make sure you order it. Service was perfect. We ate early around 5pm local time to avoid the rush and can't wait to go back.

We were here for a nice and unique dinner experience so we chose the prix fixe menu option. We are only somewhat familiar with Spanish food so this was an excellent way to taste many options in the same meal. Everything we had was delicious and we were amazed at the balance of flavors and variety of options. Service was very good, friendly and helpful, even though it was a very busy time for the restaurant. One thing to note is that the tasting menu involves a large amount of food. We brought back leftovers from a few courses and were surprised and gratified to see that even heated up the next day for brunch, they were very good. Note also that if the restaurant is busy, this isn't a quiet, traditional fine dining experience, but the food and service quality is still excellent.

Weâve been to Jaleo three times now. Twice for happy hour and enjoyed both times. We shared several happy hour items and had great service. Our 3rd visit was the tasting room ( eâ). What an experience! Loved all the food and creativity. Well worth the price. You prepay for this experience including a 20% tip. Please also note drinks you order during the tasting have a 20% gratuity added on as well. We didnât see this and tipped another 20%. Figured it out when we checked out because we still owed $12- from Jaleo because tips arenât comped. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

Having just been to Spain after an almost 3 year travel hiatus we had a base to understand Spanish food. All of the tapas ( small dishes) were excellent. and well proportioned. We had fun in that the couple at the next table ( it's pretty close quarters) were no at all familiar with Spanish food and Teri guided them through a wide selection of tastes. This is Jose' Andres's casual Spanish place. The atmosphere can be loud but we were in the back corner and could carry on a conversation with several people. we are gregarious and love to meet new people talk about the different food we all ate. The only disappointment was the paella del dia. It was extremely salty and lacked a real socarrat. I would stick to the small plates and there enough to satisfy any appetite.

We had a great dinner here, lots of super tasty tapas, and a great selection of mains too. We loved the fried eggplant with honey, goat cheese with fig toasts, sautéed spinach, garlic shrimps, toasted bread from Barcelona with tomato jam, everything was super authentic and actually better than Spain! Our server, Matt was excellent, explained all of the dishes and made sure we made good choices. He was always checking in with us to make sure we were happy and overall offered us outstanding service. We will definitely be back to try other dishes, so many great options, we want to try more! Fun and casual atmosphere and overall great service.

Lovely relaxed restaurantâŠ.still with plenty of vegas vibes! Sunny was our server, and he knew everything about everything on the menu. Heâs the server to catch when you dine at Jaleo. The asparagus dish was fought over and the patatas bravas was also a delight. The Hendricks gin drink went down well too! Yes we would return if we return to Las Vegas!

I arrived at 6:45 for my 7:15 reservation for 8 people. They would not seat me, which I was totally ok with. I spoke to my party that was coming from 2 different locations and they were on their way so at 7:10 I returned. Again I was refused seating and my party had to be more that 2 to allow for the rules of the restaurant. I was not impressed and within 2 minutes 2 more showed up so they finally accepted to seat me. No for the food, the steak we had was raw in the center, yet the one at the other end of the table was not raw. I did not understand the cheese that showed up and was told to wait for the second part of the dish, I think the sliced meat. Why did they not bring them together? I did like the fried calamari, the prawns in garlic and oil, the chicken rice and the rack of lamb. Overall the meal was ok, but as many have stated in other reviews it was a tad slow. Service by the waiters was excellent in my opinion! Lastly the noice in the resturant is very loud which is fine, but difficult to hear others at the other end of the table. I think the music was terrible to be honest, why not have some Spanish influence type of music, I think the night I was there it was like rap. I was not impressed with the music. Overall, the food was ok, but not special and it was a very loud atmosphere that made it difficult to talk. I am not sure I would return.

Itâs only sheer laziness we ended up at Jaleoâs for dinner last night. We were tired after a day of touristy stuff and I happened upon a single reservation before 7:00 in the whole of the Cosmopolitan. We rushed to get ready and are so glad weâre lazy because we had our best meal of our trip there. From the single bite cones, to the experiential olive juice balls, to the traditional grilled veg with romesco, everything was delicious. The tarta galette Maria was the best dessert we had the whole tripâthe buttery crust, chocolate cream and hazelnut make for an unforgettable combo. So good. Service was excellentâZahari answered all our questions and made sure to let us know which dishes were single bites (literally) or shareable. His descriptions were also very accurate so we didnât have any surprises when plates came to the table. Itâs pretty pricey, but weâre happy to put out money for quality.

We had a party of 9 and showed up right at 5 for the sangria happy hour. They were able to easily accommodate us and the service was attentive. The sangria and tapas were delicious but pricey. We will be back!

Came here as a group of four expecting some amazing tapas but we all left disappointed. The servers were really friendly and attentive, but the food was such a let down. We order the paella which was really dry and not good, we mentioned that we couldnât actually eat it but it was not removed from our bill. We also had calamari which was bland and salty, and the squid ink aioli lacked flavour. The food wasnât entirely disappointing as the patatas bravas were good, and they served some delicious goats cheese. But all in all, we left disappointed at the overpriced mediocre food.

Very tasty selection of food, great service and an okay atmosphere. Only thing for us would be comfier seating - felt a bit too close to others on a long sofa but that is just personal preference. Everything we ate was so tasty apart from the tortilla.

This was our 2nd extravagant lunch for our short trip. We had walked by it to see the menu the evening before when they were closing. The server said a reservation is ideal but to try anyway for lunch before our flight the next day. The restaurant was empty. I am not sure why if it was because it was the 2nd week of March so tourist season was just starting. But we ate well. The food was great. The server was personable and very nice to our multitude of questions.

We went for happy hour and got about 7 small plates. The food was fantastic. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. He even gave us complimentary glasses of wine.

I always stop by for a late evening bite whenever I am in Vegas. The two dishes I recommend: Lamp chops and Shrimp with garlic If you like goat cheese, the Goat cheese cake is delicious Check the desert wine and ask what vintage of Sherri or Port wine they have available, you may find rare vintages and decently priced.

Fabulous dinner and stunning venue on 3rd floor of Cosmopolitan Hotel. We were a group of 7. We did not order family style because it was too confusing with each person having dietary restrictions and different taste palates. My husband and I shared the 20 oz rib eye which was so delicious. We ordered the roasted asparagus and Brussels sprouts. Both were probably the best I have ever eaten. The flavors were outstanding. At first we had the margaritas which were very spicy but top notch. We had the fennel, peanut, vinegar salad which was a large portion and so fresh and tasty. Everyone tried and loved it. For dessert we had the goat cheesecake enough for everyone to have a small portion. It was lovely. Tip: if you order coffee, one order is definitely enough for 2 people. They gave a pot for each order. This was a very impressive dinner and one I won't forget easily!

Food was tasty, but way too expensive for what you expect. And then you can say; everything is expensive in Las Vegas. That's correct, but price/quality is out of proportion at Jaleo. I thought it was really disappointing, considering the price.

I enjoyed this tapas-style restaurant. 3 plates was enough to fill me up, and 2 plates was enough for my wife. The best part was the dessert, I recommend the chocolate hazelnut cake. There is an extensive wine list, the beer list is definitely lacking though. Overall this is a good restaurant located on the third floor of the Cosmopolitan.

The food was sublime. Had the flaky pastry filled with salmon roe, Seared scallops with raisins and pinets, and fried cod and potato fritter with honey alioli. The next dish was better than the next.

This meal was a treat. Lots of variety and interesting menu and things to taste. I like tapas, but this took it to another level.

Love this restaurant...we have been here three times and have enjoyed it every time. Love the expansive tapas menu...there is so much to choose from. Also enjoy the Sangria, it is awesome.

Weâve been to Jaleo in Orlando, this was our first visit to the Vegas location. We are not familiar with Spanish wines and our server, Nanette, brought us a taste of her recommended wine paring, which was outstanding particularly for the price point. Do not miss out on the Jamon Iberico, which was carved tableside. Gazpacho was the best Iâve ever had and very refreshing between the Jamon and the small plates we ordered. Towards the end of our meal a manager stopped by the table to inquire how everything was, which I always appreciate. Weâll be back the next time weâre in Vegas and plan to check out the sangria hour as well.

We went to Sangria hour and I know tapas are small, but they were more like bite sized morsels. Yes, you could pay triple the price for the full sized portion, but it's just not worth that.

A business colleague brought me here and I didnât have high hopes. Boy was I wrong!!! Amazing! The jambon iberico was as good as promised. And the tomato bread was delicious. Iâll come again!

I recently had dinner at Jaleo in The Cosmopolition on Dec 11, 2025 and it was incredible. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I started with the sangria de cava, which they were kind enough to serve by the glass vs half a carafe. I also enjoyed three of the one/two bit cones. The cono de escalivada y anchoa was the star! (A crispy cone of brik pastry filled with fireroasted eggplant, red pepper and anchovy butter and topped with anchovy and chive.) I also enjoyed the gazpacho, which was incredibly fresh and I felt the $11 price point was reasonable. I also had the calamares a la Romana served with squid ink alioli. While I thought it was tasty it was a bit too salty for me, it was still delicious. In passing I mentioned the salt level to the waitress when she asked if I enjoyed it. I was not complaining as I had eaten half of it but I was full by this point. To my suprise, they took it off my bill. That was completely unexpected and not needed but that is the level of customer focus as any Jose Andres establishment. I highly recommend this restaurant while in Vegas. Beautiful restaurant, great food and impeccable service.

This is the second time we visited. Both times have met friends at the bar for snacks and wine. The Bartender JT and his assistant Alex were amazing. We ordered the bottle and board from the Sangria Hour menu and then some additional nibbles. Food was amazing, wine great. Can't wait to try this restaurant sometime for dinner. JT and Alex really made our experience. They were professional, personable without being intrusive. Were interested in making our experience special and definitely succeeded. We will be back for sure.

We love Jose Andres as an activist and writer/speaker about food and society so we were excited to finally try his food. It did not disappoint. A huge classical tapas menu plus paella. We did 6 plates of tapas for the two of us and could have done 5. The anchovies with tomato on toast were perfect, so was the garlic shrimp, the asparagus with romesco: all spanish classics done to perfection. The flat iron steak was soo tender. No bells or whistles just perfectly prepared classics. The gin and tonics are very very good and worth a try. Only negative: it is a very loud, not romantic dining area.

My husband and I enjoyed having dinner here. We were staying at the Cosmo, so it was extremely convenient that this restaurant is located on the third floor of our building. I recommend the croquetas de pollo (8/10), the piquillo peppers stuffed with goat cheese (10/10), and the pan con tomate (10/10). Sooooo yummy!

The restaurant is very pricy for what you get. The service was very good but personally I feel that is be expected with a restaurant like this.

So we went with a group of 6 girls. Pretty much everything we had we terrible. Not bad. But terrible! The highlight of the evening was the ham and cheese panini. Pretty bad when you peak at an ham and cheese. I would highly recommend that you do not waste your money, time, or stomach capacity at this place! Especially in Vegas with so many food places to eat.

My husband and I had a fantastic meal at Jaleo. The service was very attentive and our waitress came over each time a dish came to our table to ensure that everything was to our liking. Additionally, our water glasses were always full. We were seated at the back of the restaurant in a a corner and my only complaint would be that the bother-style seating could have a higher back as it wasnât really possible to leave back. We didnât order paella, however, it was fun to see the staff ring a cow bell and yell out âÂĄpaella!â each time someoneâs paella order was ready. The waitress recommended 3 dishes for each person, so we ordered the marinated Spanish olives, chicken croquettes, fried artichokes, grilled asparagus, grilled chicken thigh, and grilled chorizo. Each dish was absolutely delicious and tasted fresh. The restaurant is located in the Cosmopolitan, so itâs an easy walk if youâre staying in the Bellagio, Aria, or Paris hotels. I would definitely come back on a future trip to Vegas!

Iâm going to start this review by saying weâve been coming to Vegas every year for 5 years. This is the best meal weâve ever had. Iâve been to Spain a few times and enjoy Spanish food but itâs difficult to find authentic food where we live. I did book this months in advance for a Saturday night and the restaurant was PACKED. Thanks to our reservation we only had to wait 5 minutes max. The wait staff was incredible and made our experience even better. We ordered maybe 5 different tapas and each one was fresh and delicious. Most importantly, authentic! I wish weâd had a big enough party for paella because they looked amazing (you could see them cooking from our table). Highly recommend this place if you love Spanish food or just want to give it a shot. We had an amazing experience. Also itâs location in Cosmo is perfect. Come early or stay after and enjoy a drink at the chandelier bar to top off the experience.

Consistently, the Prix Fixe menu here is the tastiest in Vegas.Every course is itâs own adventure, and a delight. The Gazpacho is my favorite. Also, I love what Jose Andres does to support others.

Iberian restaurant in the Cosmopolitan hotel Good tapas but very small portions for some Good tortilla as well as boquerones Avoid cones and sangria which is full of ice cubes and tasteless Not given for what it is Unbearable noise To try

I truly believe it was in top 3 meals I have ever had, and believe me, I have had some good ones! We did the Chefs choice and it was so great, going back again tonight for another round! I was overly impressed! Service was impeccable as well! Highly recommend, only downfall is thatâs itâs pricey. But you get what you pay for! Give it a try, bet you wonât be disappointed!!!

Iâm sure the paella is good, but we didnât try it. The chorizo was tasteless, the sopa de ajo was just not good. The butternut squash was passable. We all liked the shrimp and scallops, but the overriding concern was that the portions were small and horribly overpriced. I will NEVER be back,. There are good restaurants in the Cosmopolitan, just not Jaleo.

My husband and I watned to bring his father to our favorite Vegas restaurants on our recent trip, and Jaleo was at the top of that list. The meal certainly did not dissapoint, and our server, Tony, made the experience even better. We let him know that we had show tickets and needed to be finished by a certain time, and he was friendly and accomodating. With delicious food, excellent service, and a fun and unique menu, I don't think there's much more you can ask for in a restaurant. That's what makes this my favorite one in Vegas.

We have been to tapas restaurants but never with the variety and creativity of Jaleo. The food was terrific--we ordered 6 or 8 small plates ranging from calamari to eggplant. The latter was so good we ordered a second round. Then added the savory garlic shrimp. There is a wonderful selection of cheeses and country ham choices. Staff is exceptional, from our server who suggested just the right (and not the most expensive) Tempranillo to the servers who delivered each plate proudly and timed them perfectly (unlike other tapas restaurants where delivery can be very uneven). I wanted to try this restaurant after reading Chef Andres's book "We Fed an Island" and it even exceeded my high expectations.

This restaurant is a must on a Vegas vacation! The food was delicious and the menu is extensive. Our service was great; the food came out quickly and the one dish that took much longer than expected ended up being comped by the manager (a total surprise to us!). Highly recommend!

Disappointed and surprised. We visited Jaleo before and it was an absolutely incredible experience. I would have to agree on the prior visit with the person who wrote brought tears. However this experience we were dumbfounded and disappointed. The only thing right was the service. The tomato bread wasn't crispy. It missed the mark - lukewarm. The bikini sandwich had ham parts that were inedible - could not even cut through with a knife. The garlic shrimp had a taste they were old and honestly was well oversauced. The iberico end loin was lukewarm The parron of gin and tonic seemed watered down (hardly tasted like a gin and tonic). When nothing is hot that should be and things are flying out of the kitchen, it sends a message the cook staff probably aren't cooking or allowing their par work to come to appropriate temps. The place was not busy comparatively and greater time and care should have been taken. This was a place we had on our must go to before this. Seems it's hit and miss. I hate writing this review. Nothing was hot

If you like tapas, and we do, this is the place to go. Lots of choices that your waiter will help with and help is needed, because they can be a bit overwhelming. Fortunately, our hosts have been a few times, so they helped us. Some of the tapas were a bit salty and tough on the waistline, but still very good!

We loved sharing the glorious flan in an orange-infused cream and the very delicate fresh churros in chocolate. The restaurant is charming with a clean and simple decor. The early crowd trickled in and it got pretty busy but it was not as noisy as others have reported. Because the menu has so many of my favorite foods from Spain, which I loved visiting, I know I will be dragging some friends back with us. Getting up to the Boulevard Tower on the 3rd level is not easy but worth it even for seniors. As a special holiday celebration location, I believe this was the perfect choice.

Second time this year, and everything was phenomenal, and consistent! We knew what we were getting and out expectations were met. We will be back!!! Getting aschedule together, we are going to get on the list for Ă©! Our love for this restaurant started when we saw what Chef Jose Andres was doing during the shutdown. His staff and service were a mirror of him both times now. This is a true dining experience!

The Cosmopolitan is a flashy hotel with a lively and young vibe. Very attractive. Jaleo, which wasnât easy to find in the hotelâs unsigned labyrinth, provided us an enjoyable experience. The food was good, absolutely, but there were some unimpressive bites. The patatas bravas were quite tasty, made so by a somewhat spicy (but not quite âbravaâ) tomato sauce. The gambas al ajillo were garlicky and wonderful. We also shared a tortilla de patatas, but it lacked flavor. Some saffron would have adding zing, or perhaps a sofrito of some sort. Moreover, we had the little cones with cheese and tomato. They were good but also lacked flavor. Perhaps the best bites of the night were of the berenjenasâthe fried eggplant with local honey. Delicious! Iâll add that the sangria was good, especially on a hot Las Vegas evening. The service was professional and cordial. Quite attentive. Overall, a good experience with surprising unevenness in regard to the tapas. I recommend.

We sampled quite a few things on the menu and it was all tasty. I would recommend the mushroom paella which was very flavourful and the also steak, tuna cones and tomato bread were very good. Our waiter (sorry I donât recall his name) was very knowledgeable and friendly.

The atmosphere is always pleasant, the food excellent. For fun, have the Croquettes de Pollo. I sure miss having them served in the shoe, though. The story behind this is priceless. Have José's Taco. It is NOT what you expect, but it won't ever be forgotten. The table preparation only makes the tasty morsel even more special.

I feel compelled to write this review so other diners know what they're getting.... The reason why I rate this as poor was the infinitesimally small portions and disproportionate prices. To give others perspective, I live in downtown Chicago and I am used to paying high prices, but in my city, you get what you pay for, not so much here! I will mention that I have been to countless tapas restaurants, and by far Jaleo's servings are the smallest I have ever seen, it was really disappointing. At the end of our meal, our server asked if she could bring us anything else, my husband's response was "yes, dinner please!" The food is very good, flavors are amazing, dishes are presented beautifully, and the service was great, however the tiny portions leaves the diner with a lot to be desired. Our party consisted of 4 adults, this is what we ordered, and received: 1/2 pitcher of sangria 1 beer 1 cocktail Pan con tomate, flatbread $13 (5 thin and small pieces of flatbread with tomato topping) JamĂłn ibĂ©rico FermĂn $19 (6 VERY thin/shaved slices of ham, so thin we could see through the ham and onto the plate) Croquetas de pollo $13.5 served in the chicken shaped platter as you see in the photos (5 total pieces, these were about 2 inches long, 1 inch diameter) Chorizo ibĂ©rico de bellota FermĂn $12 (8 slices of Sausage cut into 1/4 inch thick pieces, the diameter of a nickel size) Gambas al ajillo $19 (8 pieces of shrimp, these are about 41-50 count per pound, with 2 small bread sticks) Carne asada* $27 (This was AT most a 5 oz steak) Patatas bravas* $13 (1 inch by 1 inch cube potatoes, maybe 12 pieces?) The bill was $200, and all 4 of us left hungry. We needed to order two plates of each dish, and that would have brought the bill closer to $350-$400. In my opinion, once you are spending almost $100+ per person, it is edging towards the spectrum of "finer" dining. And this is not that type of place, the tables aren't even covered with tablecloths, guests were talking loudly, and the restaurant front section isn't enclosed with windows from the hotel & walkways. You can hear guests walking and talking as they stroll through the hotel. Save your money and dine elsewhere, there are plenty of other comparably priced places also serving delicious food, with beautiful presentation.

Really enjoyed dinner at Jaleo. The carne asada was the best I have ever had. Had a couple of other tapas as well. Everything was outstanding.

Was very excited to dine at the celebrity chef José Andrés restaurant but it was my biggest disappointment in Vegas. The highest quality Iberian ham - Jamón ibérico de bellota Cinco Jotas, which was $40 a plate, was shocking. Each slices of ham was mostly fatty parts, I would say 60% fatty and 40% lean, some of the slices were only contained tiny lean parts, I could not even taste anything. The best ibérico 5J jamon quality should have mostly lean parts, fatty parts only have small portion on the side of the lean part. This was NOT the same ibérico 5J quality that I was expecting. Telephone & emails exchange with David, the manager, did not go well. Then few days later after I talked to David, I found out that the server overcharged the tip without my consent & knowing. David explained that it was a "math mistake" by the server and the overcharged was refunded to my credit card. I do not believe the story. First of all, the server should double check the amount that I wrote before she entered into the credit card machine, secondly, nobody at the accounting department caught the error and charged the incorrect amount on my credit card. My writing on the receipt was very clear. After these two incidents, I have lost faith in Jaleo. And David only took further action to refund me the whole tip amount after I sent out a tweet to José Andrés directly. It was a huge mistake that I decided to dine at Jaleo.

Paella festival weekend. Loved watching paella making at their open kitchen. Tapas were great and service was phenomenal.

Are here while traveling on business. The server, Kevin, was very knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was amazing. I would definitely spring for the jamon iberica. The presentation alone of any dish containing this meat is worth the price. Would definitely recommend.

While the food was good, I felt the ambiance and service were lacking. I know it's hard to find good help these days. We had an enjoyable dinner though. The food and drinks were delicious!

Having dined at Jaleoâs Washington, D.C. location on a handful of occasions, I was excited to try Jaleo in Las Vegas. Over a recent lunch at the Vegas location with friends, I was once again wowed by Jaleo. First off, our waitress (Edita) was unbelievably knowledgeable about everything on the menu down to the smallest detail and flavor profile (we asked a million questions), and was professional, friendly, efficient, and made solid recommendations. Although Iâm not a gin fan, on Editaâs recommendation that they were incredible, I tried both the Ultimate and the Citrico gin and tonics over lunch â they were both beautifully presented, creative, and delicious. The ambiance is bright, fresh, and lively (albeit you have to substantially wind through and up in the Cosmopolitan to find it). As to the food, I enjoyed the Lunch Like a Spaniard menu starting with an incredibly delicious gazpacho (a tomato gazpacho with a mouthwatering, but not overpowering, vinegar undertone), the patatas bravas (addictively good â I could eat them by the pound!), the flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked black garlic chicken as my main dish, and then the creative pan con chocolate for dessert. Everyone in my party had nothing but wonderful things to say about the entire experience. Although there are a lot of great options for dining in Vegas, Jaleo is not to be missed.

A unique and different dining experience for sure. We had plenty of tapa to choose from and were very happy with our selections. Everything was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed a pitcher of sangria with our dinner which was an excellent choice. This restaurant located in the Cosmopolitan and is open to the main floor so the noise level was very high.

We made a reservation for 2 couples using Open Table for 5:15 pm. Just go up the escalator by the Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan building and you are there. Nice atmosphere and everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend the carne asada (rare) and the octopus with squid ink pasta. A half pitcher of sangria was perfect for 3 of us. The shrimp with garlic was very good and had very thin slices of garlic. Oh and the bacon wrapped dates were outstanding. Wish I had taken more pics....

Food was amazing friendly knowledgeable staff amazing atmosphere highly recommend Will be visiting again

Always great to at any Jose Andres restaurant. Perfect. The cosmopolitan hotel has nice views from the inside. Get a table facing the hallway.

Too noisy to hear what we were saying or the wait staff. Excellent food. Small plates, It can get quite pricey because you order several small plates and then a cocktail it can cause your bill to go up.

We sat by the chef's kitchen. The work they do is very special. The tapas were excellent. The sangria had a different taste to others. We enjoyed the butternut soup, the gazpacho, the Spanish tortilla, the tostada & tomatillo with manchego slices, the conitos con chorizo, the date albondigas and more. The flan and the pan de chocolate for dessert were phenomenal and quite different to the standard fare. The only dish not worth it was the shrimp paella because it was cold. The service excellent and they made up by bringing us fresh warm rice to add. The decor and ambience were very nice. We are ready to go again when in Las Vegas.

First experience at a Jose Andres restaurant and definitely won't be my last. Everything was interesting and tasty and service was impeccable.

Jose Andres, the culinary genius behind Jaleo has created a fun, energizing and delicious experience for anyone who's into global cuisine. There's a sense of comfort in the food that it doesn't try to be pretentious or overly haute. Andres has taken the familiar and enhanced it and made it truly enjoyable.

Went solo and ate at the bar. Best service I've ever received eating at the bar which can be dicey. Super friendly and helpful staff. No wait. Have yet to be disappointed by a chef andres restaurant. Five different things and 2 drinks for $120 plus tip. Good price for the strip

This restaurant was in our hotel and we had an early reservation in order to get to an evening show. They accommodated us and we still had time for a great meal. So many amazing choices and literally everything we had we loved. We were seated by the gentleman who makes the paella n got to watch that happen. Matt was our server and could not have been better. Very friendly, kind, engaging, informative and not intrusive but fabulous management of our experience. Loved him! Overall an experience at the highest order and we would so go back if we revisit Vegas.

We visited for my partner's birthday on a Monday evening, which was not busy. The staff was very attentive and clearly dedicated to the food and atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the service, the food, and the experience of Jaleo. A wonderful memory and a special evening!

The food, service and wine list are excellent. Supporting Chef Jose Andres is a no brainer. So glad that we made this reservation.

Good food, not excelent for the pricing. Service and people very nice. The wine was very nice. Sufficient tapas to choose from.

Good selection of tapas and sangria. Helpful waitress guided us through menu. Would visit again. Authentic tapas experience.

We met another couple here for dinner and picked out a lot of dishes to share - the nightly paella, gazpacho, espinacas a la catalana (loved it), chorizo cones, pan de cristal con tomate (yum), Jamon iberico (delicious), patatas brava (ok), bacon wrapped dates (I think these would be better without the batter), rossejat negra (amazing - would be great to have octopus throughout the pasta, not just on top), carne asada (pretty good). It was just the right amount. Their coffee and tea machine wasnât working so we didnât get dessert. Service was really nice!

We love Jose Andres restaurants and came here for special occasion and they didnt disappoint. all the food is amazing (we have eaten pretty much everything on menu) and service never disappoints as well. Highly recommend. Love the pan con tomate!

I had dinner at the bar this week. I enjoyed it and would return. The paella of the day (vegetarian) was excellent. The Chicken Croquettes were lousy. The gambas al ajillo were decent. Service was generally good. Overall it was very good but nothing out of this world.

Best meal of our stay. Everything was fantastic, service and food, from the minute we were greeted by the hostess to the flan. Had several small plates and all were great. If we had to pick a favorite the salmon tartar cone was it.

I supposed my colleague and I were late for going to any of the restaurants; but its Vegas so didn't think much about it. We attempted to go to a different restaurant in the hotel just around the corner from Jaleo - but they were closing and it was before 10pm. Shocked and needing something to eat, we walked into Jaleo and they said they could serve us. We were the only people in the restaurant; it was awkward but we received ok service. Waiter recommended a few things on the menu; and nothing really stood out. To the point where, now that I've looked back at the menu - I cannot remember what we even shared. Not sure I would return; and especially for the price paid I should have had an amazing experience. Perhaps if someone else was buying I would give it another try; but I guess it just wasn't for me - I wasn't wow'd...

The service was good but the food leaves much to be desired. If you are of Hispanic heritage donât waste your time eating here, the food is tasteless. Undercooked and not worth the money. Skip it! #touristtrap

We came here after China Poblano which was amazing. Our hopes were high. The tomato bread was good and we love anchovies but they weren't the white ones I was hoping for. We also got the cheese and the jamon which were both pretty good, just tiny portions. The liquid olives were pretty cool and tasty. Great atmosphere

This is âtheâ place for tapas and they were all very good; some a bit salty, but overall, very good; and we tried several; a couple fried ones. Your server will make recommendations, but put hosts had been there a few times, so they took over. It was god they did because the many choices can be a bit overwhelming.

As always, our recent visit to Jaleo was fantastic. As we joined new friends, we were able to order a variety of tapas. The Jamon Iberico de Bellota is still my fave with the pa amb tomĂ quet. The service is always outstanding. The ambiance is nice also, but it can't compete with the Jaleo at Disney Springs.

Patatas bravado, croquetas and shrimp..wonderful. The paella looked great but we had no room :) Red sangria good. White looked refreshing as well. Nice ambiance.. pre dinner drinks at chandelier bar..fun

Honestly not that good. Neither the ambiance nor the recipes are that good. If you love real Spanish food this restaurant will probably deceive you. They carry a good assortment of strong cheeses but aside from that recipes are average. Ambiance is also average. Noisy and illumination is not very intimate. The have some fire where they cook paellas and rices. Meat wise is not very good. A lot of fried recipes that are not that healthy. There are better restaurants

So.... the food is 5 star all the way. But, the service is insanely slow and the portions (tapas) are deliberately bite sized and meant to share. This is more of an experience than a traditional dinner out. Itâs kind of like a movie you enjoyed but thought ran about 45 minutes too long. Go try it out. Just be prepared to sacrifice several hours when you do!

Good variety, we were short on time and not particularly hungry so did not have the opportunity to order the paella which looked very good. The tapas we ordered were delicious. Specially the hamachi crudo. Service was excellent. Would go again.
Great food, love the Iberico ham!
We had a great time at Jaleo. I love tapas, and they have a great selections. I particularly loved the ham sampler. We came here before a concert, and it worked well because we were able to order a little at a time until it was time to go. Our server was very nice and helped to get to concert in time. I would definitely recommend it.
