The best chinese restaurant

By Davida_Davida |

The best and very tasty chinese restaurant. You must visit and try at least once in your life. Will be back.

WONDERFUL

By doug100worth |

Beautiful hotel in Bellagio Hotel. Cantonese food is terrific. Service is great. We shared dumplings, shrimp and soft noodle dish. Yum.

Perfect food before the theater

By Albert H |

Wonderful experience! Our server Z was very helpful with helping my wife select gluten free options. A special thanks to Sarah our sommelier for helping us with a perfect wine with our meal. Really enjoyed discussing wine and food with her. The food was delicious: I had the crispy calamari and my wife had lettuce wraps with a delicate plum sauce. We shared a vegetable fried rice. We highly recommend Jasmine and would definitely eat there again.

Ms. Consistency

By Hungry_Head |

Three warnings: 1) for a Chinese restaurant the cocktails are strangely addictive 2) yes, it's a whole duck 3) my only criticism, be careful to slow things down or you'll be fed, watered and shipped out in under half an hour This is elevated Chinese fair in comfortable surroundings. My fifth visit to Jasmine and I hope to be back soon, thank you.

Great Food and an Upfront View of the Bellagio Fountains

By WhosThat4 |

Excellent Atmosphere, and an Up-Front view of the fountains. First, let me say the room is beautiful, and a special thank you to the friendly staff. They made our dinner extra special. We started with the COMBINATION PLATTER. The crab Rangoon was the best we've ever had, and it had real crab meat in it. Imagine that :>) We both followed that up with Extra delicious JASMINE SIGNATURE VERMICELLI. Ah, the tastes were wonderful. It was a generous portion and hard to finish, but I did it. We ended this, our last night at the Bellagio, with a wonderful frozen Mango Sorbet in a chilled Coconut tapioca sauce. It was a perfect end to the other tastes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED $$$$

Peking Duck !!

By Dela520 |

We love Peking Duck. We had a great table (quiet, with views of the fountains) and impeccable service. The Duck itself was delightful, and beautifully presented table side. Don't get too many sides, since the Duck more than enough for two. This is as good as China town in either San Francisco or New York City. Call in advance for the right table, but be sure to go.

Eh

Service good, food mediocre at best. They asked if I wanted steamed rice and the manner in which they asked, I replied "does that come with the meal?" No cigar. If you have to ask, you cannot afford it.

Every Single Time

By Alex T |

For the past 6 years, I have religiously eaten at Jasmine. The food- amazing, the view- Vegas worthy. If you are looking for that awe-inspiring view or a movie-like romantic setting, eat here at night and request a table by the window. With the water fountains in the back, the setting, food, and ambiance make it for a most memorable dining experience. A must do.

Interesting

By Carolyn1127 |

I was disappointed from the start that we arrived for our reservations early but they had to sit in the bar for 10 minutes when the restaurant was empty the menu is buried Asian and offers a lot of things that I’ve never sample to before food was not terrific but above average I do suggest that they stop allowing toddlers to come in to such a fancy close the restaurant where their noise is disturbing

Beautiful Dining Room with views of Bellagio Fountains - DIM SUM!

By MountainVacations |

We LOVE Dim Sum and thought we'd have more of an experience with Dim Sum here, but this is not it. We can tell you the Fried Rice was the BEST Fried Rice we ever had. The only star off at this restaurant had to do with a "pretentious waiter". Down to earth people who appreciate that line of thinking is what we enjoy. You do get the Bellagio Fountain show from this restaurant which is fun. The Green Tea Creme Brulee is not recommended but cheesecake was amazing.

Had better here before

By Tim B |

Very disappointed tonight. Service was good as always, but the food was very disappointing. The dress code has changed too, once upon a time you had to be smart, now we have the Asians in here wearing wife beater tops.

Awful

By cartwrightangela |

Visited last night, service was average, food was very poor. Very overpriced. We had bbq ribs and chicken and sweetcorn soup. The ribs were cold and soup tasteless. We then has sweet and sour pork which was very dry.

Great Lunar New Year Dim Sum

By PhilW461 |

We went to the Jasmine Lunar New Year Dim Sum lunch (which only happens for two weeks out of the year). It was a great experience for all of us. We were fortunate they were able to accommodate five of us without reservations. The staff was great. From the hostess, to the wait staff, to the servers at the food stations, everyone was friendly and eager to be of assistance. Our table host was always nearby if we wanted something. Our pot of jasmine hot tea never got close to empty. The environment was great as well. It was a formally festive atmosphere, and the woman playing the "guzheng" really set a wonderful tone with her music. My spouse/in-laws are Asian and really wanted to come here. No one went home hungry or disappointed. There was an almost endless variety in the dim sum type buffet. I was pleasantly surprised to see a meat carving station with prime rib. Of the items I chose, I was not disappointed. The rest of the family, being a bit more adventurous than myself, were delighted with the options we don't normally see. This is an event we plan to enjoy again next year.. and we'll be sure to make reservations this time.

Outstanding Asian cuisine!

By Nancy P |

We eat at Jasmine every time we visit Las Vegas. The ambiance is absolutely wonderful and the food is DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the Wok-fried Flank Steak and the vegetable fried rice.

Absolutely Gorgeous

By LaurenMReich |

I have been to Jasmine twice and both times it was a wonderful dining experience that my whole family enjoyed. The restaurant is beautiful and there is a gorgeous view of the Bellagio fountains and the show they put on through all of the windows. The servers and all other employees are very kind and attentive. Some favorites of mine are the Wok-Fried Udon noodles and Ginger fried rice but the best dish by far is the Frozen Citrus Surprise dessert that looks like an orange that melts as they pour over it. I don't want to spoil it but I HIGHLY recommend it. It wasn't on the menu the most recent time I went but they happily made it for us when we inquired about it. If you have the chance to visit take it, I'll be back soon!

Beautiful setting, great service

By Littlegto67 |

The only reason I did not rate this restaurant excellent is that the food we had on the Jasmine Experience menu was a little bland. The Jasmine Experience menu had changed since we had last eaten here so we decided to try it. Everything was good but nothing really stood out as a "wow" dish. We ordered the wine pairing with the meal because it is interesting to see how the wines are paired with Chinese food. The sommelier was great, he explained the wine and the reason behind each pairing very well, and each wine did pair very well with each dish. I just wanted a little more of a pop in the dishes. The coconut soup was very interesting. Normally we don't care for coconut the soup was baked or roasted inside whole coconuts which gave the coconut a soft texture and it was very good and the seafood inside was cooked perfectly. I'm not sure why the tropical fruit salad was served with the stuff crab claw but it was ok. I felt like my lobster was slightly overcooked and the purple rice dessert is nothing special but overall it was a very good meal.

Great Food and Service

By kramki75 |

The restaurant has amazing views of the fountains and was seated by the window. The food was delicious but expensive and tad overpriced. The staff and service were excellent, constantly making sure everything was up to the mark. All in all very good.

BEST Chinese food!

By slhFortSmith_AR |

We've been to this bar numerous times for appetizers and this was our second time eating dinner. The food is perfect as is the service. Peking Duck with a second course of duck in lettuce cups was phenomenal! We loved the appetizers. I just wish we had room to eat more!

Best tasting menu and excellent service

By Going somewhere |

We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing and the price for the meal was the same as al la Carte the previous night at prime steakhouse. From the starter to the lobster for main was delicious and gives you a good idea of quality of food. Many dishes, however absolutely delicious. Wine pairing was a bit slow at times and can be described better but we cannot fault the service and food. A must when you stay in the hotel or when visiting hotel. Beautiful views of the fountains. Try to go before a show at 5.30 to see the sunset with fountains.

Enjoyable Meals

By YvieMN |

We were guests at the Bellagio, and had dinner at Jasmine twice during our stay. Both times we were seated at a table near the window with a view of the fountains. The table was beautifully set with exquisite pink butterfly chargers that were whisked away shortly after we sat down. We were given a basket of colorful shrimp chips while we scanned the menu. For our first meal, we started with the dim sum basket - a trio of 3 buns - steamed shrimp, lobster and cabbage, and chicken and mushroom that came with a sauce to pour over. They were very good. It had been years since we last had Peking Duck so we had to order that. It is a lot of food for only two people (would have been just right for 4), as there are two courses, so were unable to eat it all. The first course is a whole duck carved table side and served inside large crepes with scallion, julienne cucumber, and Hoisin sauce. There were 8 total crepes. I would have preferred smaller crepes where we could have assembled our own duck and toppings, but they were excellent. The second course came much later - wok tossed duck meat with jicama served in butter lettuce cups. Tiny chunks of duck slightly crispy with sauce in the chilled lettuce cups - really good. There were 6 cups total. Our waiter brought us a chocolate dessert on the house, because he said there was too lengthy a delay between duck courses. On our second visit, we ordered vegetable spring rolls (3 small rolls with sweet and sour sauce and a spicy mustard sauce. We shared an entree of Lemon Almond Boneless Chicken and vegetable fried rice. Everything was very good - however the sauce on the chicken was a little on the thick side. We finished our meal with cappucinos and shared a dessert - Frozen Citrus Surprise. It was an orange colored white chocolate ball filled with blood orange sorbet and vanilla/ ice cream, Grand Marnier sponge cake, with nuts and brown sugar crumbles. Our server poured a warm citrus caramel sauce over the sphere to partially melt the shell. It was outstanding! As others have said, the wait staff do tend to hover a bit, but that really didn't detract from our dining experience.

Fabulous Dinner

By John F |

Someone gave us a tip about this place, so I researched it on You Tube. So, had to give it a try. Great ambiance, great service, friendly people, and outstanding food. There were 4 of us...had Won Ton Soup, Chef's Selection of Sea Bass, Scallops, and Tofu with a side order of Fried Rice. All 5 star plates. Met the Manager and the Owner, which was a treat. We would come again..And again..And again. My wife is from Guilin, China, and she helped write this review.

Jasmine...Stunning Views of The Fountains from all tables.

By Leigh JF |

Stunning...The view, the decorations...every detail is exquisite. It is a beautiful restaurant for a nice relaxed evening out.

Delicious Cantonese Food

By big_phil2010 |

Delicious Cantonese food served in a beautiful restaurant situated right next to the fountains at Bellagio. The restaurant is nicely spaced out and the portions are decent. The quality and taste of the food was spot on. We had two courses with accompanying drinks and it cost around $100 per person.

Worth 4 star, but insist on your prefences for 5 star

By lovetotravel |

I was insistant about Asian ingredients in my order and the chef accommated my wishes. Then, I drove my sever Jing crazy like a American wanna be person for Asian but he was resilient. I had shopped at a nearby Asian market, Green Island and knew the freshest Asian produce was available. The rice is vermellici, made not with eggs but rice flour, and smoked. Outstanding! Scored the squid and well prepared shrimp with the authentic vegetables

Delicious

By Carli Nat S |

Great place for eats. Definitely try the dim sum platter. Gorgeous fresh seafood and beautifully presented.

Wonderful evening

By Rob Smith |

An amazing restaurant with incredible views. The staff were impeccable from the start and the food is the best Cantonese we have ever had, watch how much you order , portions are large , but worth it!

Worth every penny!

By Saraphe |

This restaurant is on the expensive side. But so yummy! We were able to get right in without a reservation around 9PM on a Tuesday. The decor is so lovely, I would like to borrow their designer to update my living room decor with a dash of their ambiance. We had lovely views of the Bellagio Fountain show. It was a wonderfully romantic setting with each table placed far enough apart to give privacy. Our server was pleasant, prompt and full of enthusiasm for the menu choices. The food was delicious and authentic. I had not had anything so perfectly Chinese since our trip to China; where we ate in some of the best restaurants in Beijing, Shanghai, Xian and Tongli. I do recommend sharing dishes the portions are generous and I could not finish; though the food was so good, I gave it the best effort my stomach could muster. Great wine list also. If you are looking for some luxury and a great taste of China, look no further.

Wonderful Chinese! Wonderful Experience!

By andrewspeoria |

My husband and I studied the menu for weeks, making our reservation a month in advance for a fountain view during our Bellagio stay. It was as perfect experience as you can have. Elegant decor, beautiful table settings, and flowers. The staff were just as attentive without being intrusive, answering questions and making suggestions with aplomb. We shared dim sum and vegetable spring rolls with a delicate plum sauce, then sea bass with the green ginger sauce that we are still talking about a week later. Dessert I opted on the safe bet of chocolate cake with raspberry sauce while my husband had crime brûlée infused with green tea served in a soup bowl. I only begged him out of two bites and I must say the cake was good but the cream brûlée was fantastic! I wish it wasn’t our last night as we would have loved to splurge again. We have eaten at many wonderful restaurants but this was “go back to Vegas for”. Never rushed. Business casual dress, saw no golf garb here. Loved this place❤️

Fantastic dining in gorgeous setting

By HMRoch |

I had heard great things from family and friends so I stopped in to see for myself on a Sunday night after work. Service throughout the dining experience is fantastic! Dining room is beautiful with views of iconic Bellagio fountains to enjoy during dinner. I had wonton soup, general chicken with a side of jasmine rice and glass of wine for $85 including tip. So glad I dined here within hotel and definitely plan to return.

Jasmine

By TerrasTravels |

I was really looking forward to coming here and, don’t get me wrong, It was really good. I think I just had higher expectations for the walnut shrimp which was delicious, but was not the best that I’ve ever had. The dining room and all the plates (love em) and the view of the fountains are glorious! They had an issue at the beginning when we sat at the bar waiting for our table where I guess their technology didn’t work and they could only take cash and no credit cards. Luckily, they fixed it because I was thinking how are all those people in the dining room gonna pay, cause I guarantee you not everyone has cash… The pork belly was amazing and the best thing I had there. The coconut crème brûlée was really good. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert and I was scared. It would have bits of coconut shards in there, but instead it was on the outside and then they had a mango purée and a mango ice cream on the side, which were so delicious! My friend had the baked Seabass, which she said was amazing as well. The service was good, but it could’ve been better. For example, when I was trying to make a decision on what to order I am always torn between a few dishes and when I asked between the chicken and the shrimp, the waiter just said well it depends on if you’re in the mood for chicken or shrimp. It’s just chicken or shrimp. So I thought that was a weird response. But all in all I was still very delicious!

Not Great Food or Service for that price!

By Jean N |

We went here for a special anniversary and were disappointed. The service was not good. For the price of this place, we should have been made to feel special. Quite the opposite. Felt forgotten. Hot and sour soup was probably the best I have ever had. The Kung Pao Chicken was very average and the chicken had a weird texture. We had made it a point to put we were celebrating a special anniversary. That was never mentioned. Save your money.

elegant dining

By wildflower |

The service here is fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is elegant with beautiful china, gold silverware and lovely linens. Food delicious. All while the famous fountains dance in the background.

New Year Eve Extravaganza far from it

By 255106Kim |

Booked this restaurant on a "1st come, 1st served" basis as the Hotel was very busy. Previously eaten at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant, Spago ( twice!) and Prime a few nights earlier & they were fantastic, especially Spago Jasmine disappointed, at USD 190 per head, ( + tax, + tips , + beverages) the food was lower quality than at the Noodle restaurant in Bellagio, the waiter didn't know his wine list, didn't point anything out to us as dishes arrived...in fact, the only effort he put in was to point out the tip suggestion of 18-20% when presenting the bill at the end. The Lobster & Beef main dish was especially poor, the Lobster tail dried up...and every piece of beef was cooked the same way for every guest...overcooked and dry. Beware, costly, and a little worn compared to other smart establishments at the Bellagio

Major Disappointment with Peking Duck!

By MyReview12321 |

Dined at Jasmine and was so disappointed. We ordered the Peking Duck after asking if it is served hot and CRISPY. Unfortunately, he was presented tableside and it was barely warm and the skin was like rubber! Complained to our server who offered AN APOLOGY! Will not return and suggest avoiding Jasmine, in general and Peking Duck, in particular!

Amazing food and service

By 982heatherg |

This was the most surprising dining experience in Vegas. Hubby and I wanted to try a fine dining Chinese/Cantonese restaurant and found this gem; so glad we we went. We had the dim sum trio and scallops to start. Both were amazing and I would have eaten my weight in dim sum if I could. For dinner we had the Santa Barbara prawns and a duck dish; hubby wanted to pecking duck but since it is really for two and I had not liked duck, the waitress recommended a smaller portion (after trying his food I have been converted to liking duck). For dessert we had a citrus surprise which was amazing. A few notes to help you get the best experience: * this is not a casual restaurant. It is fine dining and they have won several awards; the meal takes time, so don’t expect to be in and out in 30 minutes I would give at least 1.5 * recommend reservations * prices range anywhere from a 20$ appetizer to 30$-205$ for an entree (my prawns were 88$ (worth every penny) and hubbies duck was 40$)

Nothing to write home about

By Eu_DaniMiranda |

We went for dinner in our first night in Vegas and were disappointed. Restaurant is beautiful but service is just ok and the food is nothing special. We had the scallops and the shrimp and although the entrees were good, there was nothing unique in their flavors or preparation. The drink with spicy watermelon was a highlight.

Exceptional dining at the Bellagio

By Sparky8188 |

We mare reservations thru central reservations at the Bellagio because we wanted to go to a restaurant that had a fountain view. The staff was incredible and what you expect at a 5 star restaurant. The whole vibe of the place was enchanting. Plates are big so family style is the best bet: share. We had sweet and sour chicken, wok choy soft noodles, veggie rice, and salmon and our family of 4 was able to easily split this. The best drink I’ve ever ordered from a restaurant was here and called the Dragonfly. So good!!! This place will not disappoint. The ambiance is amazing, the staff is incredible, and you cannot go wrong with your dining experience here.

Don’t take the chopsticks

By lareil |

If you want excellent Cantonese Hong Kong style Chinese food this is the place to go. The service was impeccable. The food was amazing everyone had something different and each person really enjoyed their food. Ask for a table by the windows so you may watch the Bellagio fountain display. If you want to take home the chopsticks as a souvenir they are $50 each.

Great views and ambiance

By Robin |

Food: 4/5 Food, it's good but not the greatest Chinese food. Service: 5/5 Service, food generally comes fast and their staff are very professional. Ambiance: 6/5 if you can get a table closer to the window to view the fountains. It's quite a show and really what you're paying for. Value: 4/5. It's pricey, $100 per person, but you're paying for the big dining room and the fountain show.

Lovely Food but a bit rushed

By Geofferson17 |

We dined here on my 50th birthday. This was the second time we had eaten here and the food is lovely. The starter was excellent but the main arrived as we were just finishing it. Its only a small thing but it did feel a bit rushed. That said, the staff are friendly and polite an you simply cannot beat the location behind the fountains.

Outstanding!

By msf5280 |

We dined here on our anniversary and it was an outstanding meal in every way. The restaurant is beautiful with the Bellagio fountains providing a gorgeous backdrop. The food was delicious and our server, Janet, was excellent. Her suggestions were spot on and she treated us like royalty. The best Chinese food we have ever had in all our travels. Truly elevated!

Amazing views of fountains, lovely restaurant, great staff but food mediocre

By adele1234 |

Enjoyed the fantastic views of Bellagio fountains, staff work very hard & very friendly. Lovely settings inside restaurant. Bit too bright for my liking, however nice table settings. However, sorry to say I had high expectations of Jasmines & was really looking forward to the amazing food experience. It didn’t happen, I was not impressed by the spare ribs that were just to fatty & pink for us, plus bland & tasteless. Then my main of chicken noodles was just so salty & swimming in soy sauce, I could not finish it. Gutted to say, I didn’t enjoy my starter or main. My two family members were not too impressed either. As I thought it was just me. Such a shame, I wanted to really enjoy it in Jasmines as when we visit the Bellagio we like to experience as many restaurants as possible in house. Jasmines, is not one we will rush back to unfortunately.

Most disappointing

By 856johannam |

This was really the worst meal of an otherwise fantastic trip. It suddenly made the greasy carry out from the strip mall look good. I expected a cuisine of the better NY China town level and was disappointed. Thick, greasy batter, heavy -handed gravy, not crisp vegetables. Someone needs to fix that.

Jasmine’s was outstanding

By _janhowell4 |

Wonderful experience. Service was outstanding as was our food. Fountain view was awesome! The decor of the restaurant/ ambiancel & tableware was really so unique. We loved the food & split several different entrees & soup. The wine list was excellent as was our choice. We will be back!!💕

Great experience

By Mihaela T |

The almond chicken is the best i have ever had in my life. Great service. Cathy was so polite and helpfull.

Best Romantic Chinese Restaurant in Las Vegas

By Butch Cross |

This Chinese restaurant was elegant and very romantic. The staff were friendly and professional. The food was out of this world. A dinner for two will cost around $200 with drinks.

Yes good but not great

By Jennifer C |

Very nice food and staff, just not quite there can't put finger on it. Seemed over priced but then everything is

HungryTraveler

By Hungry Traveler |

I chose chicken fried rice, good , view of fountains were nice. Atmosphere was loud, slow service, nephew ordered chicken and was served duck. The order was corrected but everyone else had finished.

Excellent food and location

By David M |

The view over the fountain was brilliant and the food portion and quality did not disappoint. Excellent wine list and very nice and helpful staff. Not a cheap restaurant but did not disappoint.

Great View Poor Service

By Neesha P |

Such a beautiful restaurant with amazing view of the fountains. In our opinion (9 girls) we found the food fairly average. Firstly we had arrived to the restaurant approx 9.30pm (unaware they were closing at 10pm). We had asked if a table was available, which there was and we were seated after about 10 minutes. Starters were lovely, and we had all picked individual dishes. However we felt like they had started to rush us. One of the waiters we felt was very rude Jin/jing. He has even taken away one of our friends plate whilst she was still eating! We asked for the plate back which he hardly felt bad for and apologised. Not only this once we had all finished they asked should they bring the main out, however it was already behind us on a trolley waiting. Once serving our main, and putting the last plate down on the table he straight away asked "how will you be paying individually or together". This was just out of order, in which my friend replied we will let you know once we have even tried our food! That is when we had asked what time they will be closing and found out they were suppose to be closing at 10pm. If this was the case they should not have seated us. Seems like they were just after the sale. We should have just got up and walked out we were that disgusted with Jin/Jing. The rest of the waiters were absolutely lovely. For such a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel our experience was terrible.

Great food and fountain view

By A_Hotel_Visitor |

Great service and food in a classy restaurant. Most tables have close up view of the fountain. Needs booking

Beautiful view and decor

By Peegis |

My companion and I were seated near the windows in this beautiful restaurant. We had an excellent view of the fountains and surrounding properties. We ordered the Jasmine Experience tasting menu. It was good but not great, with a few of the dishes tasting somewhat bland. The Golden Crab Claw was excellent; the Coconut Seafood Soup was visually appealing, but on the bland side. The Baked Chilean Sea Bass was the highlight of the meal .The wine pairing was adequate, but not that note worthy. The sommelier was very helpful, explaining each wine and the reason behind each pairing. The surf and turf entrée of lobster and Kobe short ribs were enjoyable. The Waitstaff was accommodating. This meal was solid, but wasn't one of those meals you won't forget.

Gret place, food and view of the Bellagio Fountains with excellent service

By Abraham S |

Very nice place and excellent service with very good food. The view of the Bellagio Fountains is the best

Great view. Beautiful table. Over priced low quality food

By Intrepid_So_Traveler |

This is a high end Cantonese restaurant at the Bellagio hotel. The setting is gorgeous. We were seated by the back window with a spectacular view of the fountains. The plates and flatware are beautiful. Perfect red roses adorned the table. The prices are problematic. $30 for 3 small dumplings. $5 for a small bowl of white rice. The dumplings were tasteless. The eggplant was too. The sea bass special was good. The selection at the bar was strangely sparse given the prices. For example, only one dark rum (Meyer's). This is a hard one because we enjoyed the night and the fountains are spectacular. The service was wonderful. If only the food were as good as your standard neighborhood take out joint, this place would get 5 stars

Stunning Views--Very Authentic Chinese Food

By Rocky R |

We had early reservations to be able to finish before a 7:00 "O" performance. We were perhaps the second or third table seated, so had front row center seating with stunning views of the Bellagio lagoon, fountains, and Paris Hotel (Eiffel Tower) in the background. Hard to find a better view. We order two appetizers and a single entree at the advice of our waitress. We should also note that we lived in Beijing for three years, speak Mandarin, and have traveled all over China. The dishes we had were very authentic and certainly not competitive with PF Chang (which is a good thing). We ordered a specific dish (boiling water beef) that we had not been able to get since our time in Beijing...and it was terrific, bringing back fond memories of traditional Chinese food we enjoyed. However, we would probably not recommend that dish to people not familiar with or accustomed to the traditional tastes. All in all, this was a great meal in a great setting. I do, however, agree with other reviewers that I feel the prices are very steep for this type of food. Had they been more in line with reason, I surely would have rated this five stars.

One Of The Finest In Vegas

By ronald517 |

This was our second visit in 5 years and this restaurant lost none of its cool. Ambiance is great along with the service and food. Wait staff dresses formal and food presentation is way above average. Appetizers and entrees were all great and I suggest that if both get an appetizer you will only need one entree. Price is not inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Don't miss this restaurant when you visit Vegas.

Awesome!!

By Nee |

Food tasted really good but also come with price. Good service. Great location just right behind Bellagio Fountain

Overpriced, average meal

By Sophie A |

Put simply, you are paying for the view at Jasmine, so if you come here make sure you get a table by the windows right next to the fountain. I paid $120 for a very average Chinese meal (including one cocktail). I wouldn't have been impressed with the standard of the food if it came from my local takeout. The prawns in the chilli prawn dish were the best bit (quite a lot of them and very succulent). The egg fried rice and mixed vegetables were sad and lacked any flavour and the coconut clam soup appetiser was completely tasteless. On the plus side, the fountain display does distract you from the food and the bill. Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant.

Great view, good food, horrible service

By Nick C |

The food and view is outstanding and hard to beat on the strip. The service was not that great though. It took about 15-17 minutes to even get greeted and a drink order. Then they brought the wrong dish. Once the correct meals were delivered they were outstanding. Highly recommend for ambiance and food. Too bad the service soured the trip. Most plates are $30+ with several over $100.

Food not nearly as good as it should be

By HAPavon |

Food was average. Egg rolls were mostly filled with bell pepper pieces. Pork ribs were greasy and over cooked. Worst dish was the fried sea bass. We said this to the server and he said he would “take care of it. It’s on me”. Then a dessert appeared that we did not order. Then when a bill arrived, the sea bass entree was still listed. When we questioned the server, he said he gave us the dessert. To me, this is not “taking care of it”.

Amazing Place - A Must Try!!

By Ric |

We came to this place expecting a good Chinese dinner. What we got as an exceptional Chinese dinner!! The service was impeccable and our server made recommendations based on our ingredient preferences and experience with Chinese dishes. I ended up ordering a meal that wasn't even on the printed menu; but was still available to those who know it's there. We'll certainly be back!!

Perfect!!!

By Daniel P |

Omg it was perfect. The whole evening was perfect. Food, cocktails, service, ambiance… all faultless. And let’s not forget about the view overlooking the Bellagio fountain. Just wow

Spectacular views - food solid

By 125Cara |

This is a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view of the Bellagio fountains, food was solid, but not exceptional - desserts were better than expected though. We ordered squid, shrimp, and beef broccoli. Desserts - creme brûlée in coconut -highlight, mochis and strawberry mousse

Excellent Peking duck and Champagne

By Pierre M |

My spouse and I stayed at the hotel Bellagio for several days and tried Jasmine restaurant on site. We loved the service and the champagne we drunk and loved the PÉKIN DUCKS

Worst restaurant in vegas. Similar to Food Court, Chinese food

By Dreamer303117 |

This place is terrible the portions are so small. My family and I ordered food to go when we got home we realized it was only for one person so I called the manager to let her know thinking there was something wrong she told me every order is meant for one person are you freaking kidding me???? They were so rude she did not want to apologize or try to help in anyway and just told me that that was their policy I told them that the portion size is a joke and we spent a lot of money and she said nothing to me and said she was trying to get me off the phone. If you are a tourist do not go to this restaurant this place is a joke read all of the reviews on Google and you will see what everyone else is saying. There are plenty of good restaurants in Las Vegas and definitely not one of them this place is a joke.

In the era of Social Media and Public Relations it is rare to see any sort of dining event kept “secret,” but for two weeks each year Jasmine at The Bellagio quietly opens its doors during daylight hours for a Dim Sum Brunch celebrating the New Year, first in a global sense and then to commemorate the Chinese version. Unadvertised save for a colorful board outside the Restaurant, this year spanning January 22nd to the 29th from 11:00am until 2:30pm, it is approximately fifteen minutes prior to opening etched doors that guests begin queuing, never mind the fact that most have reservations but rather for the chance to sit with an unobstructed view of Bellagio’s famous fountains. Attended for the first time since 2020, a cost of $88.88 per diner and just $20.00 for children far lower than Jasmine’s equally splendid dinner, it was after seating by familiar staff that most guests stood to begin perusing some ninety choices spread across a variety of Buffet and Live Stations. Truly a grand display, traditional Dim Sum and Chinese Barbeque lined up alongside items decorated in everything from Foie Gras to Abalone, it would not be long before most early arrivals returned to their table with plates full, fresh Oysters and Crab Legs a popular choice amongst the largely Asian crowd though many also gravitated towards a display of baked and fried Dim Sum that this year included Steam Bunny Dumplings, Coconut Rice Cakes and decorative Gelatin. Moving slowly and eyeing variety, Shellfish and Sushi tasted alongside items less commonly experienced in such a setting, it was as a young woman played the guzheng that additional plates were enjoyed, Puff Pastry Custard, Turnip Cakes and Squid Ink Custard Steamed Bun all highlights necessitating repeat tastes. Sipping Coffee, Jasmine Tea and Fiji throughout a ninety minute stay, The Fountains at Bellagio dancing outside floor-to-ceiling windows, cold items including Spring Rolls and Duck Liver Terrine were both exquisite while Peking Duck and Char Siu with traditional condiments remains a must. Focusing next on silver steam trays lining the center, left and right mirrored to create a seamless flow of traffic, it was as the fountains again danced outside that steamed and baked Buns competed for stomach space with Noodles and Beef, the bold flavors only rivaled this year by luxurious Congee featuring Century Eggs. Always evolving Dessert, the aforementioned Puddings and Custards aside, Egg Custard Tarts rival any in Sin City while Sesame Cookies, Chocolates and Mochi this year found themselves served alongside Chai Tea Mousse and Mango Sticky Rice.

Very disappointing experience

By Ken D |

Nice atmosphere. We had a fabulous meal here several years ago. We raved about the food. This time, the service was off. Very slow and not very helpful. The PEKING duck was a huge disappointment. The way they carve off a little meat table side and then take the rest back and make lettuce wraps with the rest was very poor. We did not get the duck we paid for. P.F. Chang’s has better lettuce wraps and they don’t cost $128.00

Asian fare at the Bellagio

Love this restaurant. Fare is so well prepared and presented. Try something different every time we go and never disappointed.

IT CAN'T POSSIBLY BE CHINESE PEOPLE RUNNING THIS NOW

By Mugatooo |

one guy got food poisoning and sicker than a dog 24 hours after eating there ... this was awful , we have been eating there for many years and we always have looked forward to spending a small fortune on the event of Jasmine experience, YUCK ! Did they turn this over to people who don't understand the Chinese culinary arts or just work a fryer at the truck stop ?!

Stunning and highly recommended!

By ChrisGower1975 |

Came in here late last night and absolutely loved it! It was our 3rd visit and we would come back in a heartbeat. Parinya greeted us and, despite being a Man United fan, he could not have been more welcoming. His colleagues were equally as lovely. The food was stunning and they are probably the best Singapore noodles I have ever had. We will be coming back!

Beautiful Restaurant

By Longhorn1 |

We stopped in to Jasmine at 9:30. Unfortunately, after a day of eating and drinking we were just not that hungry, but really wanted to try it. We ordered simply, just the lemon chicken and fried rice. Both dishes were simple, but tasty. Service was good, the hostess was very nice, and complimented my wife's dress. The server gave us the necessary attention and did not act like we were putting her out by not ordering very much. The room is beautiful, the views of the fountains are good, although I did notice when they were going off a few people crowded to the window which made those at tables near the window a little uncomfortable. I look forward to going back and seeing this beautiful restaurant, and hopefully trying more of their dishes soon.

Excellent!!

Beautiful restaurant with great food and view of Bellagio fountains! The food was delicious, the service and ambiance were great. If looking for a quieter type of meal in a elegant setting, this is your place.

Elegant Chinese With Great Views!

By wap4172 |

This is NOT fast food Chinese, but rather an elegant trip to China. The views are amazing! You get to experience the Bellagio fountains at ground level so you can actually feel them as they burst into the air.You also have a lovely view of the strip so go at dusk or night when you can appreciate all the lights and sights. The food is very good and the menu is quite extensive. From Peking Duck to Hot and Sour Soup ALL was great. As a side note the food came to the table hot not lukewarm which was a welcome plus. This is a MUST.

The food was nothing special

By doncusick |

In a sea of amazing restaurants, this one, while beautiful, didn’t do much for me when it came to the food. Just okay, nothing creative or exciting.

Nice view of the water show

By Trek2019 |

Nice at atmosphere and table setting - great view of water show and attentive wait staff - the chicken with lemon almond was just ok as was the fried rice

A Delicious Experience.

By DrC33 |

Jasmine is an excellent choice for people who love Asian food. The pot stickers were hands down the best that I have ever had. My mom had the Mongolian beef which was also delicious. The waiter warned us it was spicy. We didn't find that to be the case and I am a wimp when it comes to spice. The service was excellent. I would recommend making a reservation but saw some walk in people find room to dine. Next time we are in Vegas, we will definitely dine here again.

Great view, solid food, close to 5 stars

We did the jasmine experience and it was great, good service, great view of the bellagio fountains, the food was pretty good but didn’t blow me away, worth going

Had the Christmas Day brunch

By twoplustwoMidlands |

Had the Christmas Day brunch dim sum buffet with the family. An amazing selection of sushi, sashimi, steamed buns, dumplings, soups, noodles etc. Don’t expect a lot for a vegetarian - only Ceasar salad and some bread and plain noodles. The non vegetarian food was excellent. The duck was great but you had to keep asking for more than one slice. We came out very full. Nice ambience, although we were a party of four they put us on a massive table for 6 which didn’t make it that intimate. Very attentive staff and servers. We all left very full and satisfied.

Lovely food, horrible service

By 991cookie |

What could and should have been an amazing meal was ruined completely by some of the poorest service imaginable. The setting and food couldn’t be any better. Gorgeous decor, even down to the menus and if you can get a window seat you can have a prime viewing location for the fountains. The food taste and presentation was also extremely nice, with 1 order of fried rice more than enough for 2 people. The problems all came from the service side of the evening. After being seated we weren’t offered a proper drinks menu, only a cocktails list. However we were asked within 2 minutes of seating what we wanted to drink, before being asked again whilst waiting for the order to arrive. Upon the drinks arriving, we ordered our food and the entrees arrived less than 5 minutes after this. Then within 10 seconds of finishing our entrees, no exaggeration, the mains turned up. The server had to clear the plates from our entrées and replace our cutlery before she could serve the mains it was such a quick arrival. Then upon finishing our mains we were asked about desserts. After asking for 10 minutes to decide, we were asked again when we declined to see the menu. Still with half a drink each left the cheque was brought over with the card machine with in a minute of declining dessert. If only the service had been less rushed and more considerate of us as the guests this would easily have been a 5 star review with no complaints.

Really good Chinese

By Adrian |

We only dined here once (would have done more but closed Mon/Tue) Food was REALLY Good and they looked after us so well Can't fault it to be honest (service was great) Good wine list, not the cheapest mind !

Worn out

By SPOF2000 |

This restaurant needs to either go or upgrade. Everything about this place is tired and had its day. Simply put. Average. The Chinese food is no better than something you would find at your neighborhood strip mall. In fact PF Chang’s is better and can get you your fix. For much much less.

Food was excellent with large portions.. Service was very good. View of fountain was spectacular. Expensive but worth it

Craving Peking Duck and Duck Lettuce Cups? Go.

By kenO8207YC |

Jasmine is a beautiful, serene dining room overlooking the Bellagio fountains. The food is classic Cantonese, with a smattering of non-Cantonese dishes, so it is not as spicy or hot as I usually like. However, I will eat here often while in Vegas. The hot and sour soup is outstanding. It is amongst the best I’ve had anywhere. They’ve got the balance between pepper and vinegar perfect, and the mouth feel is velvety. But you go for the Peking duck. If you’re only two, you don’t need other dishes, unless you’re seeking other flavors to enhance the meal and are prepared to leave food on the table. I love the fact that they serve duck lettuce cups with the Peking duck (which appear to be made from the remaining meat after carving). Lettuce cups with pine nuts, scallions, garlic, chestnuts, and hoisin sauce are one of my favorite preparations. Other good dishes included the scallops with black bean sauce (although I’d like more sauce and heat), and the lobster fried rice. I was not a fan of the cauliflower and pork dish, which, given its Cantonese origins, is too subtle for me. Service was generally good, though not perfectly paced. Our food began arriving while we were still waiting for drinks, which didn’t show up until after the soup. That kind of timing issue is something I’ve experienced before at Chinese restaurants, where dishes move quickly but the sequence can feel less deliberate than I’d prefer. That said, I’ll happily return for the hot and sour soup and the Peking duck. Be sure to order the duck in advance.

Duck is must try

By Alex K |

Great food, great service. On the pricy side but where in Vegas isnt? The soups are A+ but the duck is on another level, best duck i've ever had - try it, you won't be dissapointed.

Ok but not outstanding

By ata2018 |

The ambience is very nice, you can watch the fountains from where you sit and the staff was accommodating. The food though did lack the pizazz in taste and somewhat in presentation. For the cost and trying other restaurants, we were a bit disappointed.

Excellent , a bit pricey

By 69tiger888 |

We went before the Celine Cencert , and told the waiter we need to be serviced ASAP. The place is spacious and comfortable , the menu is Cantonese style and most staff can speak chinses . We ordered nothing fancy , walnut shrimp ( good ) , sweet and sour pork ( excellent like in Hong Kong old days ) and a veggie and a glass of wine . We are happy with the efficient and service . We are surprised to find the bill over 200 dollars ( simple not fancy stuff ) , look like they charged each item per person instead of a dish . We left 630 pm , plenty of time to go to the concert

Best View

The food was delicious, the view spectacular & the staff super friendly. This is high end Szechuan...don't expect your usual eggrollls! Try the mushroom clam soup...it's served in a coconut! YUM!

BIRTHDAY with family!

Formal, the location, the atmosphere, the service, the refined MENU and the extensive wine cellar, -MINE, MINE!- the lacquered duck and the desserts are delicious!!

Expensive treat, great views

By Beth P |

We ate here on our second nights stay in Vegas, having pre-booked the table before seeing “O”. The restaurant has amazing views of the fountains, which is why we picked it and requested a table by the window. The food was beautiful but overpriced in my opinion and by far the most expensive meal we ate on our whole trip. The staff were attentive throughout; sometimes to a fault as some of the plates were cleared from our table before the full table had finished eating - which is a peeve of mine. All in all, nice as a treat but I would have been annoyed to pay the cost if we hadn’t had such good views of the fountains.

Chinese fare with an aquatic show

By jholdermann |

WOW. We were seated at a table which over looked the water spectacle at Bellagio that displays quite a show every 15 minutes. Food was phenomenal and well presented. We ordered family style so we could all try the different plates.

Not as good as it claims to be

By DD2022 |

It is an OK place. The ambience is very nice, overlooking the Fountain. The service is very professional but average. The food is good but not what would you expect for the $$$.

Wow! What a Treat

By cynthia b |

I was not expecting to be wowed by this restaurant but I was. Don't let the loud noise and lights of the casino fool you - Jasmine is a lovely oasis. You step into the bar area - before being shown to your table. The view (of the hotel's famous water show) is lovely and the food is just superb. Jasmine also has a top drawer wine list as would be expected of a restaurant of this caliber. It's definitely worth it if you want an elegant dining experience with unforgettable food.

The food is amazing!

By Aubrey |

My husband and I had dinner here because we wanted to eat at a restaurant in our hotel and OMG we were blown away. Hands down the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The dining area overlooks the fountains and it was spectacular. Service was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Exceptional

By J M |

If you like Chinese style food, you can't do better than this. Exceptional food and service in a beautiful setting. An excellent value

Not good, much better restaurants nearby

By John Dullaghan |

A very overpriced and overrated restaurant which plays on its surroundings. Food was very much below average and disappointing, the idea of dining whist overlooking the Bellagio fountain display sounds wonderful but this restaurant is the weak point. At best all all dishes could be described as ‘ok’ but certainly don’t justify the price. MY ADVICE- watch the fountain show from outside and eat elsewhere..... the restaurants in the nearby Cosmopolitan or Mon Ami Gabi opposite are much better.

Good Food in a Lovely Location at Very High Prices!!

By cgtorrey |

The Jasmine restaurant is located in the Bellagio Hotel and has a wonderful view of the front fountain. The decor in the restaurant is just beautiful as are the table arrangements. We especially enjoyed the view of the fountain which "preformed" several times while we were there.Overall, the food was good and the service was excellent. The sweet and sour pork served in a shelled out pineapple was especially good. The walnut prawns was ok. It is best to dress up if you want a decent table. We noted the group of tourists in jeans and sweatshirts located way in the back of the restaurant. It is also best to make a reservation as this restaurant is very popular. The only negative was the price. Be prepared for exceptionally high prices....$140 usd for 2 wonton soups, one dish of sweet and sour pork to share, one dish of walnut prawns to share, one beer and a water, with tip. A nice evening, but at a high cost in our opinion.

What an experience!

By Joe C |

We visited Jasmine as part of an incentive provided to us by the Bellagio on our recent trip, otherwise this restaurant would normally be out of our price range. The restaurant was somewhat quiet, but we were given a friendly greeting and shown to our large table which had been beautifully decorated with the most spectacular plates and tableware. We took a read-through the very exquisite looking menu and opted for a selection of dishes which included General Chicken (famous and recommended), Sweet and Sour Pork, Wok-Fried Flank Steak and Wok Fried Udon Noodles. The food arrived and was again beautifully presented and looked mouth-watering, yet we probably had ordered a little too much for just the two of us! We were not let down by the taste as each dish was delicious and too good to leave any, so we ensured we ate everything. Sadly, too full – we didn’t get to try the dessert menu. This restaurant is special, not just for the food, but because of its location – right on the edge of the Bellagio lake, and a few meters from the fountains. Seating in the restaurant has stunning views of the fountains every 15minutes, and you simply could not be any closer – certainly a very impressive experience that we will always remember. Service was fantastic, with very efficient and friendly servers tending to our every need – including folding our napkins that we had left on our chairs whilst visiting the restroom mid-meal, to return to find a nicely folded napkin ready to use again. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, for the food, the service and the spectacular views of one of the most spectacular sights in Las Vegas. The price may be on the VERY high side, but it is an experience you will never forget!

Food good but other issues.

By jabest1401 |

Had reservations early for dinner. Was asked if I was aware of dress code. Told slacks and collared shirt OK. After we were seated I noted patrons with baseball hats, hoodies, t-shirts. Certainly no dress code was followed. The dinner was very good but felt rushed throughout and the restaurant was certainly not busy. Would not go back.

Better then a slot machine jackpot

By Jack F |

Chef prepared a dish for me that wasn't on the menu: beef and bitter melon. It was one of the the best Chinese dishes I ever had. With tender beef and nicely flavored with garlic and black beans, if I am ever back in Las Vegas, I will eat there every day. My companion had eggrolls and lemon chicken which she also loved. Even the creme brulee was exceptionally good.

A stunning Christmas Brunch

By Michael U |

In a city that hosts some 40-million guests annually it goes without saying that Las Vegas truly offers something for everybody, including at Christmas, and for those visiting The Bellagio there remains a secret beyond the beautiful conservatory in the form of a special dim sum brunch offered at Jasmine from December 25th through January 1st. Unadvertised save for a colorful board outside the Restaurant, a second celebration taking place during the Chinese Lunar New Year, it is approximately fifteen minutes prior to an 11:00am opening etched doors that guests begin queuing, never mind the fact that most have reservations but rather for the chance to sit with an unobstructed view of Bellagio’s famous fountains. Billed at $68.88 per diner (and just $20.00 for children,) far lower than Jasmine’s equally splendid dinner, it was after seating by familiar staff including Connie Shin that four guests stood to begin perusing nearly ninety choices spread across a variety of Buffet and Live Stations Truly a grand display, traditional Dim Sum and Cantonese classics lined up alongside items decorated in luxury ingredients, it would not be long before most early arrivals returned to their table with plates full, fresh Oysters and Crab Legs a popular choice amongst the largely Asian crowd though many also gravitated towards a display of baked and fried Dim Sum that this year included Maine Lobster, Lotus Sesame Balls, dainty Cheese Tarts and Purple Yam Mochi in delicate Pastry. Continuing till 2:30pm, even those with a prodigious appetite unable to sample everything from cold Salad with Jellyfish to succulent Prime Rib, one of 2019’s special attractions was the return of Peking Duck, a dish that can cost well over $100 at Mott 32 or China Tang here cut-to-order and all-you-can-eat with a bevy of traditional Condiments. Including Coffee, Tea, Soft Drinks and Fresh Juice in the price, with a substantial Wine List available to those interested, additional highlights include everything from hand-cut Prosciutto and Rack of Lamb to Congee, or made-to-order Noodle Soup, Silken Tofu and Clam Chowder for those so inclined. Spending most of the time on Dim Sum, experts trained both domestically and in Macau producing a spread that changes subtly through the week, fans of steamed items will likely love Jasmine’s Sticky Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf as well as Scallop stuffed Tofu with Black Bean Sauce, though Har Gow and Shumai are each also available for traditionalists. Continuing with Miso Baked Sea Bass and Freshwater Eel Toast, both new this year, it was upon finding Squid Ink Custard Steamed Bun painted with gold that several were enjoyed, though not so many as to forget two more rounds of Peking Duck and crispy-skinned Pork Belly. Opting for more Cheese Tarts, Sesame Balls and Steamed Buns with Dessert, but also tasting most of the options from Jasmine’s Sweets display, best bites predictably came from the same Macarons served at Le Cirque plus puffs of Choux, a flaky Egg Tart and rich Chocolate Raspberry Fudge Cake.

Excellent Asian Food - Fine Dining

By mbrstuff |

We went to Jasmine with a group of 6 and ordered and shared a ton of food. Everything was excellent. Service was outstanding. The restaurant's windows face the fountains. Prices are standard Vegas. We would all go back.

Wow the family

By Mona G |

As you enter the restaurant say wow . What a stunning view of the bellagio fountain lagoon and the Paris hotel eifel tower in the background . Great hostess directs you to a very beautiful table settings . Looking at the menus , let’s order appetizers of pot stickers , bbq pork , fried shrimp on a very beautiful serving plate . Pork was dried out . Appetizers not tasty at all . The Kung pao chicken comes in a huge oval bowl . The chicken was dried out with bits of peanuts garnished with lots of dried chilies . Fried rice nothing spectacular . All in all the food was way below standard . Very steep prices . Basically you are paying for sitting at Jasmin for the view .

Good pre show dinner

By Leslie T |

Beautiful restaurant with perfect views of the Bellagio Fountains. We had wonton soup which was great. We also had a couple of appetizers, that I remember were also very good. The chicken dish, sort of like a fried cutlet, was ok but a bit dry. Serive was excellent.

Dinner at Jasmine

By COJOWisconsin |

Our server was Kathy M and she was wonderful. Explained what we had questions about and worked well with her team of servers. This place is as pricey as steak dinners we’ve had but that has a lot to do with the Bellagio fountain views. We enjoyed the Crimson Phoenix drink to start. For food, we had the egg roll, steamed shrimp, veggie fried rice and choy sum - all were delicious except the rice. It was a little bland to us. On Kathy’s recommendation, we had the coconut crème brûlée which was outstanding. Our biggest complaint overall was the 2-3 year old at the table next to us. Normally this wouldn’t be the fault of the restaurant but when I got my reservation confirmation text it clearly stated no children under 5 years old would be admitted. Although I can understand the difficulty in proving a child’s age, if patrons come in with children that don’t look old enough, and you choose to accept them, the group should be sat in the upper level of seating towards the back or along the outskirts of the dining room. It was not busy and these people were dead center in the lower dining area and really took away from the beautifully decorated ambiance of the place- esp when their toddler was eating noodles with his hands not silverware.

Not Jasmine on a Monday or Tuesday beware it’s misleading

By Shooter5 |

My 4th visit to Vegas and to this restaurant but apparently on a Monday and Tuesday it’s Noodles not Jasmine. Big disappointment

Disappointing Second Visit

By Kathy O |

Several years ago we had a wonderful experience at Jasmine. We had not had Peking duck in several years so we decided to return. The meal was fine, but not enjoyable because of the hovering by both the server and another restaurant personnel (though I don't know what her title was.). The server stood nearby and watched me eat every morsel. She didn't do this for the other tables she was serving. I'm slower than my husband in enjoying my meal. When he finished whatever dish, she raced over to the table and cleared his area. At the neighboring table which she also served, the woman finished first and her husband was still eating. No one raced over to clear her dishes. They allowed him to enjoy his meal without clearing the table. Every time I glanced at either of the two women, they were watching me eat--very unpleasant. We won't be back!

A upscale, must-visit restaurant

By Rawa13 |

This restaurant overlooks Bellagio's musical fountain, so instead of waiting outside for the fountain, you could instead have a nice dinner and watch the fountain. The food presentation and taste was superb. I especially loved the Chilean Sea Bass. The service was excellent.

Traditional and Highbrow Meal

By Nicholas B |

Firstly, what a stunning dining room and setting. From the moment you walk into the restaurant it’s an escape from the manic pace of the Bellagio. Also, seeing it’s not the newest kid on the block we found it easier to get a booking and dining room wasn’t noisy or at capacity, even on a Saturday night. We started with cocktails and moved onto wines by the glass. Do yourself a favour and try the spicy watermelon habanero cocktail, sooo tasty and unique. We chose a range of vegetarian dishes to share. I thought the appetisers were particularly strong, especially the tempura beans and crushed cucumber. I was too full for dessert, so can’t comment on that. It was very classic and well done Chinese food. If you’re looking for a modern interpretation or fusion then you won’t find it here. Overall, a beautiful night out.

Second time dinning at Jasmine... what a difference 10 years makes! of both.

By Kkrylov |

Second time dinning at Jasmine... what a difference 10 years makes! The prices went up but the quality of both, Food and service went downhill so much! We ordered chicken and beef. Both where subpar at best... service was slow and unresponsive.. wine pairing however was excellent...

Great place to have lunch at the Bellagio!!!

By karenpammy2016 |

We were in Las Vegas in November and had wanted to have a quick family lunch at the Noodles Restaurant at the Bellagio but they were closed for renovations during the time of our visit. Since we were celebrating our mom's 90th birthday and she really wanted to have a Chinese lunch at the Bellagio, we were lucky to locate the Jasmine Restaurant at the Bellagio and that they were open for lunch during the weekend. We were a party of 10 and we made advance reservations for lunch which worked out very nice as they promptly seated us at a table right at the windows which looked right out at the Bellagio fountains and the Paris, Paris Eiffel Tower. Before our lunch orders arrived, the Bellagio Fountains were going full blast with a water show and we were so fortunate to get some really nice photos with the Bellagio fountains water show in progress with the Eiffel Tower in the background!! It really made my mom's birthday celebration a bit more memorable and special with this unexpected view!! Service was very prompt and efficient despite how busy lunch hour was and our orders were delicious. We are glad that the Jasmine Restaurant was open for lunch and that we chose to have lunch there. Definitely will recommend it to friends.

A wonderful experience!

By 13dms63 |

We ate at Jasmine just prior to seeing "O". The restaurant is gorgeous and overlooks the fountains at the Bellagio. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant, but since we were in a hurry, it didn't matter. Staff were professional and accommodating in getting our order in and meals to us quickly. We had the dim sum plate (appetizer) which was delicious. The chicken fried rice was very tasty as well. The almond chicken was a little lemony for my boyfriend but I found it delicious. Portion sizes for the rice and chicken were large. We look forward to eating here again!

Top notch service and food

This is a high quality Chinese restaurant. The room and ambiance is beautiful, and the wait staff couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. Made very helpful ordering suggestions.

Delicious food and great service

By Ticia P |

We enjoyed a marvelous meal at dinner with each of us choosing something different. While it was a little more expensive, it was worth every penny. Our servers and even the manager made sure we were satisfied with everything.

Let's go again

By KSO1960 |

We have been to the Bellagio for the third time and really wanted to try the Jasmine. We were not disappointed. The ambience and the view of Lake Bellagio were great. The starters were top notch. For the main course we had the Peking duck. Very good, very tasty and as you would expect, cut up and served at the table. If there was anything to complain about at all, the duck could have been a bit hotter. Price-performance ratio at a higher level.

Upscale Chinese Cuisine

By pablo490 |

The moment I walked in to Jasmine, I knew it was not your typical Chinese restaurant. The white tablecloths, impeccable place settings with two sets of chopsticks (one for sharing and one for eating), a golden spoon for sharing soup, along with beautiful charger plates. The menu is pricey, so be prepared. My wife and I shared the seafood fried rice which was outstanding. My hot and sour soup and my wife's wonton soup were some of the best we have had. Our friends enjoyed their lemon chicken and a version of the general's chicken. Surprised that the steamed rice and an extra charge rather than being part of the meal. Wait staff was very attentive and the manager comped us on a round of drinks when their was a long wait time at the bar. I can't wait to go back for Peking duck on my new Las Vegas trip.

Splendid whether at Dinner or New Years Brunch

By Michael U |

In the era of Social Media and Public Relations it is rare to see any sort of dining event kept “secret,” but for two weeks each year Jasmine at The Bellagio quietly opens its doors during daylight hours for a Dim Sum Brunch celebrating the New Year, first in a global sense and then to commemorate the Chinese version. Unadvertised save for a colorful board outside the Restaurant, this year spanning February 2nd to the 11th from 11:00am until 2:30pm, it is approximately fifteen minutes prior to opening etched doors that guests begin queuing, never mind the fact that most have reservations but rather for the chance to sit with an unobstructed view of Bellagio’s famous fountains. Attended for the second consecutive year, a cost of $68.88 per diner and just $20.00 for children far lower than Jasmine’s equally splendid dinner, it was after seating by familiar staff including Connie Shin that most guests stood to begin perusing some ninety choices spread across a variety of Buffet and Live Stations. Truly a grand display, traditional Dim Sum and Chinese Barbeque lined up alongside items decorated in everything from Truffles and Bird’s Nest to Abalone, it would not be long before most early arrivals returned to their table with plates full, fresh Oysters and Crab Legs a popular choice amongst the largely Asian crowd though many also gravitated towards a display of baked and fried Dim Sum that this year replaced Walnut Prawns with Shrimp Balls while retaining previous favorites including Cheese Baked Buns and flaky Egg Tarts with Bird’s Nest. Moving slowly and eyeing variety, Shellfish and Sushi declined in favor of items less commonly experienced in such a setting, it was as a young woman played the guzheng that plate two was enjoyed, the Braised Brisket a little tough but five other options all exquisite with special attention reserved for wrapped Pork and Sticky Rice that is just a touch sweet plus gently steamed Eggplant topped in vibrant X.O. Sauce. Focusing next on silver steam trays lining the center, left and right mirrored to create a seamless flow of traffic, it was as the fountains again danced outside that Sea Cucumber and Black Truffle each made an appearance prior to again tasting Jasmine’s brilliant Sea Moss Scallop Dumpling, the explosive flavors only rivaled this year by Siu Mai given a big upgrade by way of tender Abalone which leads well into Nian Gao that is lightly caramelized such that a slight crackle gives way to sticky sweetness. Sad to see Cordyceps Congee replaced by Fish and Peanuts, though both texture and taste remain refined, it was after a few Barbecue choices that all-new Bubble Waffles were tasted, the choice to grab pre-made segments or wait for fresh obvious to all but the impatient with the reward hot and fluffy beneath a selection of condiments including freshly Whipped Cream, Berries, Candy and four flavors of Condensed Milk. Making another trip for favorites, a fresh tray of Sesame Balls better than the first thanks to more textural contrast, it was only Passion Fruit Shooters and Matcha Cake that were passed-up amongst Dessert choices, the Choux a bit mixed with some flawless and others a bit damp while Macarons, Guava Tarts and a narrow glass of Panna Cotta plus several fresh Fruits were all delicious. FIVE STARS: Although Las Vegas’ Dim Sum scene improved tremendously in 2018, both Mott32 and China Tang bringing their Hong Kong brands to Sin City, there remains no other time or place to experience such variety and quality as Jasmine during their annual celebration of the New Year.

Excellent

What an elegant place! We had dinner last night We booked and it was a fantastic dinner for two with excellent service. An excellent experience.

Stunnng

By SallyESturt |

The views of the fountains and strip as the sky darkened were amazing. Then the food. Do go for the tasting menu. Utterly indescribably awesome. The soup sounded pedestrian until it came in a cockney shell which was to be eaten as part of the soup. Fabulous. Start to finish, well worth it. Yes it was expensive too!

Acceptable Meal

This is a very nice restaurant and has very good service. What we had was unusual. I had Kung Poa Chicken, but it was very dry , but acceptable, just not to my liking. My wife had a noodle dish, which again was acceptable but not to our liking. I would recommend this for the atmosphere and the service.

Decent food with relatively high prices

By twincanucks |

We booked this restaurant as they had a pre-show menu (we were attending the “O” show presented at the same hotel (Bellagio). The appetizers were tasteless but the General Tsao chicken was awesome. Service was poor as we had to leave prior to enjoying our desserts due to slow service even if we had selected the pre-show menu and had confirmed with the wait staff prior to ordering of our desire to attend the show. Overall, the food was so-so to great but over priced with poor execution from the wait stff

Great food, great service

By Aaron M |

My wife and I were starving and didnt have any plans for dinner. We were so hungry we just needed to eat and didn't care about the price at the time. We were not disappointed! We were seated quickly and the service was great. We ordered i believe the sampler appetizer and it was amazing, the crab rangoon was delicious and the pot stickers were very nice. We decided to share the generals chicken and it was so good, it had a nice amount of heat to it. The view was also incredible, there is nothing like eating a nice dinner and getting to watch the Bellagio fountain show. Perfect atmosphere, great show, and a great meal.

Very good Cantonese food

By SanDiegoW_traveler |

We have eaten at Jasmine many times, and it is very consistent in the food quality and preparation. It is very expensive for Cantonese food, but the view and ambience tends to make up for it (if those aren't important, there are other much less expensive choices).

Do not eat here

By Charles Y |

This restaurant has so much wrong with it I don’t know where to start. First of all the food. My husband got fried pork spareribs for an entree and it was over $30 for basically just little nuggets of bone with breading, fried. I got a noodle and seafood dish that was horrible ,totally tasteless and overly filled with cheap veggies and fried noodles to justify the price. The Dim Sum was 3 teeny dumplings with unidentifiable fillings. The spring rolls are better at Panda Express. Food is awful. Worse yet is the seating. We wanted to see the fountains but most of the tables on that level are for parties of 8 We asked to be moved to that level but the hostess said they were reserved , we had reservations and were early. Those tables stayed empty the whole time. The restaurant was mainly empty . Even so , it is hard to see the fountains due to how the room is designed. This restaurant is on the way out. Really dated in terms of food and ambience and seemingly indifferent to it all. Not fun at all. Why is it taking up valuable real estate in The Bellagio. Lagos was great.

Good food but pricey!

By PedroJoven |

The Hong Kong Crispy Seafood noodles was good even though it was a little different from the regular Chinese restaurant. Large prawns and decent amount of seafood for $30. However, the Chinese tofu desert (To-Fu Fa) was horribly done. It's probably the worst I've ever had in my life. Service was great.

Good food and view

By Russel G |

We had not been to this restaurant me years but it was still good and the view to the fountains is excellent. The food was very good and great flavour.

Peking Duck

By daikin |

We tried the Peking Duck. At $78, it is a bit pricey, but you get a HUGE duck, carved tableside, and made into 8 overstuffed rolls. Plenty for a main course for 4, and delicious. It earns Jasmine a fourth star.

Best Asian Food in Vegas!

By BarryJamesDublin |

This place is step up from all of the other Asian restaurants in Las Vegas. This restaurant is fine dining but it doesn’t come at fine dining prices. Go early and request a table with views over the fountain. Have a glass of wine while waiting and look over the menu. Then sit back and enjoy the rest of your evening.

awesome

By Chris S |

great tasting menu w wine pairings was even better sommelier came over and explained aboutthe wines prior to the food, great pairings great food, and actually for vegas great value plus can see thefountains from the large front windows...though its quiet and only realized they were going off from the crash of the waters descent x2 other foods intriguing as well but glad got the pairing/tasting menu ps bar in front with single malts...awesome as well

Avoid this place

By Marijke Z |

Never had such bad Chinese food in my life. Price quality is hard to find. Management impatient Except for the sommelier, this lady is very friendly and knowledgeable. Tasteless bite. Too bad I was looking forward to it. Price quality is hard to find. Shameless.

Delicious Meal

By Lesley R |

Husband and I went for dinner and it was delicious. We had prawns with candied walnuts, lemon chicken, veggie rice and XO string beans. Highly recommend and definitely will return. Service also was very good.

Private dining rooms are great

By Becky C |

We had a family wedding dinner in Las Vegas and chose Jasmines because of the private dining room and we had a child with us. The staff and management were so very accommodating of everything we needed. We asked the waiter to bring us his recommendations to eat family style on the round table with a huge lazy Susan in the middles the table. Everything they brought us was delicious from the sea bass to the lemon almond chicken (which was everyone’s favorite. Everything was delicious we also had a cake made and it was as beautiful as it was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Really excellent Chinese fooe

By Summersnuggles |

Upon walking in we had noticed the beautiful finishing touches to this plush restaurant. Jasmine goes all out in detail The service and food was excellent. We had some dumplings, spare ribs and wonton soup which all twere excellent 3 ribs per order is small so we ordered 2. Dinner comprised of chicken general. I thought it was phenomenal. As well as the guys liked it a lot. Paulie had lemon almond chicken cutlets Tasted like a good Italian cutlet with lemon squeezed. Was good but not my type. Frankie ordered a roasted chicken very good We try jasmine vermachelli that was just ok for me, Frankie and Paulie loved it I had the Japanese tea. Real good and warmed u up as it was a bit chilly

Incredible service and food

By Mary Lee |

Highly recommend Jasmine for the best top shelf Chinese food! Service was wonderful. The menu is a bit pricey, but worth every penny. My husband had the sea bass and declared it the best sea bass he has ever eaten. The setting is elegant and the view of the Bellagio fountain water-dance is perfect.

Great food!

By maxxiep |

We really enjoyed our dinner here! We split two dishes between two people. The food and service were both outstanding.

Stunning View

By mariean2inette |

Booked this last minute for my friend's birthday. The MGM App is amazing when you want to book something quickly because it shows everything that's available. We were seated next to the window with the most immaculate view of the fountains. Food was delicious, don't have a single negative thing to say. Loved the service, we were treated so well the entire time. Can't wait to come back!

Not kid friendly…

By JD W |

Not kid friendly. They do not allow children under 5.. which is great but it’s not mentioned anywhere when we booked. They let us know a few hours before on a Saturday. Nicer restaurants at Bellagio are fine with kids. Including the Sadelle’s Garden Table in the flower conservatory which is MUCH nicer and highly recommend.

Great Experience!

By Nomad438177 |

Ate at bar. Excellent drinks. Food was amazing. Dumplings the best ever. Spicy chicken was excellent. Service was very attentive.

Great Chinese Food!

By Knabebug |

As always, Jasmine is a delight. The food is great, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is magical. When we are in Vegas, this is one of our regular spots to enjoy.

Hotel Dining in Las Vegas

Exceptionally elegant dining and exceptional service combined to make this restaurant and excellent choice. The food was well prepared, tasty and flavorful and fairly priced as well. Comfortable seating as well.

Not Recommended

By bugmoto |

Really not good - from soggy fish to grisly Mongolian "beef". Staff seemed truly disinterested in everything. Really looked forward to a great dinner at Jasmine during our stay @ Bellagio but everything at this one restaurant fell far short of expectations. First/last time for us.

Great view and decent food

By John J Nelson |

Sit near the window so you have a view of the fountains. Spare rib app comes with three pieces and disappointing lack of variety amongst the beer. I expected more Chinese beer but only had one. Chefs soup of the day had melon and was a broth that was relatively bland. Definitely get rice with the entrees as a side. Kung Pao chicken was good but skimpy on actual chicken and very heavy on the cashews. Beef ribs were very good. Servers and host were very polite and attentive.

Beware of losing your Peking Duck to ground up meat and polenta!

By Larry B |

The restaurant was so cold it felt like we were eating in an ice box. Asked the staff to raise the temperature and was told they can not since it’s controlled by building management. Our jasmine tea quickly became Luke warm, our Peking Duck cooled quickly and was not carved appropriately. They took half of our duck in the back snd according to them ground up the remaining meat added polenta, and gave us 3 lettuce raps ! Unbelievable, we will not be going back The host offered a free dessert!

Too much hype, too expensive

By wheretonextbud |

Presentation of food was beautiful, taste was average, table serving poor, I was still eating when the wait staff removed part of the small sauce bowl on my plate. When I stopped him, instead of offering apology, he nonchalantly said, it was empty. Extremely rude to reach in and remove something from my plate while I was eating. Their table manners not so desirable. Jasmine restaurant is situated for Bellagio fountain views, so I can see why people flock there.

Service has gone downhill

By Pablo B |

Everytime we stay at the Bellagio we eat at Jasmine, I am sorry to say the service has gone downhill and actually spoilt our evening. Despite reserving a table early evening we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and then we ordered a bottle of wine which a nice lady topped up once, but after that nobody topped it up so I had to get out of my seat myself to top the glasses up. On top of that we ordered two main dishes which came 5 minutes apart despite me asking twice where the second dish was. We both agreed we will never return here after the horrendous service

Feel like you're not good enough to sit by the window

By eps_ga |

Although the food was excellent, the service left me feeling like my party was not good enough to sit anywhere but in the back of the restaurant. It's very pricey, with lovely dishes and finery...but the staff are snooty.

EXPENSIVE CHINESE DINING EXPERIENCE....!!

By HERMOSAMARIPOSA1 |

It WAS an experience....but not one that we felt we needed to repeat! The restaurant is pretty and has a calm about it....which is difficult to find in Vegas...full stop!! We didn't, unfortunately, have a particularly good seating position ....so, whilst we COULD see Bellagio's famous fountains our view could have been better! We were VERY well looked after by Kathy who was happy to help and advise with the menu....all with a happy smile! Wine, we had previously discovered during our stay at the Bellagio, was expensive to buy if you were dining in one of their 13 restaurants....so we were not surprised at the $52 for a bottle of wine to accompany our meal.... We really did not push the Chinese boat out THAT far....we both enjoyed a starter and a main course each....nothing exotic...but our bill was $219.99....the most expensive Chinese meal I have had....and am probably ever likely to have!! The food was EXCELLENT but we decided that one experience would have to suffice! We WOULD go back next time we visit Vegas....if there IS a next time...it's not completely our scene....but, I am pleased we have done it!

Something new

By bellek18 |

Decided to try some new restaurants during our recent Las Vegas getaway. Normally eat most meals at aria as that’s our home base. Jasmine had a beautiful setting - if your lucky table looks out at bellagio fountains. Wonton soup to start was hot and yummy. Main course ordered garlic ribs, lemon chicken , soft noodles and chicken fried rice. Unfortunately the food lacked much flavour - not sure if it was our choices or just an off night. Definitely will be going back to blossom at Aria. Far superior for Chinese. Happy we tried though. Never know what’s out there unless we try

Very good food, excellent service and location

By Nicole T |

Typical to Vegas the food is overpriced but compared to area it is actually a pretty good value. I have dined here many times and the service is always perfect. Efficient, professional and exact. Everything I have ever eaten here is very good. This time we ordered the Kung Pao, the Vermicelli and the combination appetizer. All were very good and lots of food. Would actually have fed 4 people. The big selling point is the atmosphere. The restaurant sits on the fountains so you get to view the fountains going off every 15 minutes. I highly recommend Jasmine's when in Vegas.

Jasmine

By E M |

We went to the Jasmine at the Bellagio based on reviews. We made a reservation and we got a nice table with a nice view. The service and the food was excellent! We ordered wonton soup, veggie rolls, vegetable rice, vegetable noodles, vermicelli, and udon noodles. I recommend all of it. We ordered to share the plates and it was very good. Definitely recommend.

Authentic Cantonese

By gwrosie |

After having lived in Hong Kong for six and one half years, I will say I had the best Cantonese meal I have ever had in the USA at Jasmine.

Our dinner experience!

By magnifypurpose |

The food here is always very good! We had the vegetarian spring rolls which were very tasty! Then we each had a wonton soup which was good. Then for the main course we had the black ruffled scallops fried rice which was absolutely excellent. Then we had the general chows chicken which was very good. We also had a side of the eggplant which is always so excellent here. The ambience is very lovely here. This restaurant is situated perfectly right in front of the fountains at the Bellagio so you get a great view of the fountains when they go off. I recommend eating here if you’re staying in Las Vegas.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

By Al S |

We went to Jasmine for dinner. The evening started out with us finding out that we were a day late for our reservation. This was our fault, not the restaurants. That being said, we only had to wait for 30 minutes for a table so that we could view the dancing water show that is located in front of the Bellagio. We started with what they called a “Chinese Pizza”. It was made with rice paper and spices. Very good. We then had Spring Rolls that were also very good. The sweet sauce was not overly sweet and also very good. I had General Chicken that was also excellent. Again, not overly sweet. The chicken was sliced thin and was tender. Servings were plentiful. So much so that we couldn’t have a dessert. It is a bit pricey. Make sure that you read the prices carefully. Most items were priced between $40 and $50, but there was one item that was $239. Another guest misread that item and thought that the 2 was a dollar sign. He wasn’t happy and when he talked to the waiter, the waiter then talked to the manager and a resolution was made. Servers were friendly and very efficient.

Nice evening

By Csac80 |

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with 3 other couples before seeing “O” in Bellagio. We made reservations and were seated next to window where we watched fountains all through dinner. It was great. Service was good and all of us enjoyed our meal choices

Poor quality food for the price

By Rachel W |

Restaurant has great views of the fountains and we had a very good table. The service was very good too. However, the food was very average and one dish extremely poor. The view is excellent but you can see it for free. I would give it a miss as the quality of the food definitely does not match the high price.

Dim sum delicious vittles

By lisa m |

Jasmine at Bellagio was delicious! The setting for the restaurant overlooks the fountains of Bellagio. The menu is expansive. WE were conflicted on what to order so the waitress offered advice which we took! It was a wonderful selection. WE had a beef, pork, chicken, and rice dish! They were all good! We each had a cocktail. The tab was $180 dollars! It is pricey, but again, this is Vegas!!

Tasty food

By Opski |

Participated a dinner with a larger group. I was satisfied with everything, the appetizer, main course, dessert and the wines. Strong recommendation if the price is not a problem.

Very Good but very expensive

By jodi a |

We went for dinner and were stunned by the prices of the meals - but it's Vegas so we sucked it up. The restaurant is quite beautiful and allow you front row seats to the fountains of Bellagio. the waiter serving us was extremely pleasant and helpful. We were unsure of the portion sizes and wanted to share a couple of dishes. We each started with a soup (mediocre) followed by an order of spring rolls which were excellent. We then shared 2 main courses - General chicken and seafood fried rice. the portions were generous enough to share and very tasty. With tax an tip (no booze) the bill was over 130$. Was good, but I would probably try somewhere else next time.

Beautiful restaurant

By OttawaBen |

Enjoyed a late dinner at Jasmine. I ordered the Signature Vermicelli which was delicious. The serving was huge and based on our appetites, could have been shared to provide a substantial meal for the 2 of us. The waiter, when he noticed about 3/4 of the meal remaining on the plate, was concerned that I wasn't pleased with the meal and offered to order something else for me. I assured him that wasn't the case and regretted that I couldn't take the remainder with me as I had nowhere to either store it or to warm it up. It really was very good! Our table provided an excellent view of the Bellagio Fountains which added to our enjoyment of this restaurant.

So much fun for a group!

By Sherron B |

Eight 60+ college friends met in Las Vegas for a reunion. We like to eat well, drink well, and talk. Jasmine was lovely. We requested a round table with a fountain view, which was perfect. The room is airy and pretty and relatively quiet— great for conversation. The table included a “lazy susan”, which was so fun. We ordered a huge assortment of food and enjoyed tasting and spinning the table until we ate it all! The food was delicious and not as expensive as our other dinners. Service was delightful, too. All good!!!

Good not great

By Sue R |

We searched for a restaurant that was open and had an intriguing menu after the amazing Vegas “O” performance. We settled on Jasmine which had a delicious seeming menu. We asked the waiter about the Peking duck. He said he wasn’t a “foodie,” so couldn’t comment but people ordered it. We ordered it and were disappointed. It didn’t taste fresh, was too salty and came in two courses, the second a diced duck lettuce wrap that seemed to be from another older duck. Had the waiter been more knowledgeable or more dedicated we might have been steered to a better dish. Reminded me that a server can make or break a meal. This one broke it.

Peking Duck!

Peking Duck is wonderful... atmosphere is quite nice as well. Service excellent too. Never been disappointed at Jasmine!

Great food but…

By Sal |

Booked this restaurant and food was delicious however service was not so good as we were hurried out after finishing our meal. We did not overstay our welcome as we were there for 45 minutes. Not acceptable in my opinion.

Pretty and that’s it!

By candygirl1972 |

We made a last minute reservation here. That should have been a clue to not eat here. I will say the restaurant is very pretty and has good views of the Bellagio fountains. I asked the host if possible for a table closest to window. She said she’ll see. What we got was a second table from the back of restaurant, no kidding. She didn’t even say, sorry this is all we got, nothing! Sat us down and took off. First fail. The main waitress was nice and friendly. The food was so bland, I don’t know why the ratings are high. We ordered chicken Chow Mein which was good. My daughter ordered a chicken dish that was over 60% mushrooms. Thank goodness she’s not allergic to mushrooms. The fried rice was just with some vegetables and it didn’t even look fried. It literally looked like a child put it together. Super bland and uneventful at best. After this we felt pretty rushed to be done. They want to turn those tables as fast as possible yet there was no one waiting to sit. Overall the place is pretty and that’s it. Bland, tasteless food and overpriced Chinese takeout. Will not return.

most expensive chinese meal ever- flavorful but not mindblowing

By vsc2010 |

Jasmine has been at the Bellagio for a number of years. It is beautifully decorated and has beautiful views of the water fountain. Turns out it seems like it's really the view that folks are paying for. The restaurant was great in honoring my request to have a seat closer to the window. The servers were very friendly and I didn't experience slow service (as other guests have experienced) I ate an early dinner because a friend told me the tasting menu was quite good (it's about $119) but I decided to do a la carte choices because I couldn't eat all the food on the tasting menu. Overall, I think I was rather disappointed with the food, especially because the individual prices for the menu are wildly overpriced for the quality. I just could not bring myself to order a $15-20 bowl of soup! For appetizer I ordered jellyfish, which was pretty standard in preparation, texture, and flavor and that was reasonably priced at $13 for the dish. My entree was the scallops with asparagus in XO sauce with a bowl of steamed rice. The scallops dish was certainly flavorful but nothing above and beyond what a decent/regular cantonese chinese restaurant would do in terms of flavor and preparation . it's insane to charge near $40 for that one dish which did not blow my tastebuds away. And, on top of that they charge like $5 for a bowl of steamed white rice. That's just ridiculous. You have to eat with rice- otherwise it's just a dish with nothing to accompany it. There should be zero charge for white rice and maybe a charge for brown rice if they offered that. The wine menu per glass was actually reasonable. In total my food came to about $80 (appetizer, entree, bowl of rice, glass of wine-- not including tip)- so about $95! Certainly there were dishes that others around me ordered that I could smell that might live up to the high prices, but I really have serious doubts. I asked the server what other dishes they would recommend if I were to return. And the ones recommended sounded tasty- like the sea bass in clay pot. I honestly don't know if I would ever return here if I were in Vegas again (or recommend it). There is nothing wrong with asking $38+ per entree for Chinese food, but only if it is outstanding. In this case, Jasmine really needs to up its game to justify the prices charged.

Overpriced and a bad experience

By Wayne C |

Really disappointed as we had such high hopes for this restaurant as it was next to the Bellagio fountains. We were celebrating our wedding evening meal and mentioned this to them when we arrived and also on the form they use, they didn't acknowledge this at all! I had to tell the waiter to slow down at one point as he was rushing us to place our order. In addition to this, they got the order wrong on an item which should have been vegetarian but contained meat! and there was no apology whatsoever. Overall food was over priced for what it was. We've had much better from standard Chinese restaurants. Also the restaurant states business casual however people were in flip flops and sports wear. Shocking. Guess it's the more you spend the better. We were ripped off for 200 dollars!!
