The fish sandwich was the bomb it was sooo good. The fries was seasoned well with Parmesan seasoning. My friend had the shrimp Caesar salad and the shrimp were huge that she couldn't eat them all so I helped lol. The server was so personable and humors. I want to go back just to get the fish sandwich again. It was a nice size portion too. I also had the gumbo. Ummm it's worth trying to say you've had it but it wasn't my favorite. I've had much better and tastier gumbo but heck it was good for there. This place is a must try. My other friend had the shrimp and grits. Superb...

We stopped by Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant while waiting for our flight. We were immediate greeted and every employee we came into contact with greeted us and said hello. Excellent customer service! The food and drinks were also very tasty. Highly recommend if you are on concourse F hunting for food!

We tried the Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant between flights at the Atlanta airport. The menu offers a diverse selection of southern seafood dishes. We found their shrimp tacos to be quite tasty. Service was acceptable though not stellar. All in all a commendable alternative to the burger joints so common at airports these days.

I stopped in for a drink and a light snack before a flight to London. I sat at the bar and April came over right away to ask what I wanted to drink. I like dirty martinis, so I asked her if she made them well; she answered in the affirmative, we were off to a great start! She suggested I try the crab and corn chowder, which I did after the arrival of my perfect martini. (It was so good, several other diners heard me complimenting her skill and they ordered martinis as well) April then suggested that I try the fish tacos. I figured, why not? Coach class food is generally not outstanding, so I tried them too. They were very good, only I will forewarn, they had a large amount of pineapple salsa, which I am not so fond of on tacos. I scraped it off and moved on as the flavor was really good otherwise. I would certainly eat here again prior to an International flight.

Very good cafe. You sit anywhere . You login to their website, enter the password (all of this is on a card on each table), order — and voila! Service with a smile! The staff was gracious, quite busy, and helpful. My cheeseburger and seasoned fries were a cut above. Very good. They are on my Favorites now.

I did my lunch during my transit time to board flight to Amsterdam. I ordered Crab and Corn Chowder and Seafood Quesadillas. Chowder was excellent taste and with black pepper addition it was yummy for my mouth and stomach. Quesadillas were good and I enjoyed every piece of the meal. It was really happy exit meal for my trip and thank you staff of the restaurant. Additional tidbit information, they provide their own WiFi and they server in your table and you can pick your seat. Happy fooding.

Avoid this place. My wife and I travel to Atlanta from the UK to visit family at least once a year. We usually have a pre-flight beer at the TGI Fridays in terminal E, it's a chain but the service and beer were always good. Post covid we thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was but we kept going. This time we decided to try the Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant for a change as we didn't have time to go terminal E, and the 'Belgian Beer' cafe didn't actually have any beer! We got there and were told it was QR code order so we did this and entered our payment details putting in the order and taking payment being 2/3rds of the servers job (as the servers were in the back chit chatting having a nice rest). When our $11 beers came they were in PLASTIC CUPS! This is unacceptable for a nice beer, we were at a bar not a ball game. When we asked for the server if we could have them in glasses she said that beer comes in plastic cups and they only had short glasses and it wouldn't fit. My wife suggested that we could each have 2 short glasses and pour them in ourselves, she rolled her eyes and huffed off putting our beers on the bar. Two minutes later another server tried to serve us our beers in plastic and she just shouted to him 'they don't want them' across the bar (Very unprofessional). Finally the manager came over with 4 short glasses with our beer and we thanked him. When we came back to clear away the empties we thanked him again saying that they were better in glass. To top this off they charged a service charge (not optional) of around 14% and then had the gall to ask for an extra tip! Avoid this place like the plague. If you want a nice meal, there's a restaurant upstairs in terminal F, and if you just want a beer, take the train to terminal E and go to TGI Fridays.

Touristtrap on the airport. Service non excisting. Staff very moody. Food terribel. Chickenwings & burger without hope. When the add ons for lobsterbisque are chicken or bread you can smell something is not correct. Avoid avoid

SUMMATION: Small, hectic, loud, busy, and crowded café. Service way too slow for airport takeout. They also confused our order. The food was not extraordinary (burger + drink served in a plastic cup), the service was long but the worst part for me is the order mode which is exclusively from one smartphone application. When I've order a second drink, the application failed. At the end, even after informing a servant, I've never received my drink but have been deducted from my account for it! A disaster!

Last visit here was JUN 2018. I enjoy eating here before international travel. This visit was disappointing overall. The Crab & Corn Chowder was quite good (had it before), but the Georgia Shrimp & Gits had basically no taste. 6 large shrimp were OK, but the large volume of cheese grits was bland.

Normally I head right for the Sky Lounge but I was pretty hungry and decided to treat myself to lunch at Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant in the International terminal. Seats are great for people watching while you eat. I had a few beers and some Seared tuna that was fresh and yummy. The Staff was attentive. A bit expensive but it was a worth it to relax from the grind of travelling.

I wanted food to take on a long international flight and chose this spot. The food was so disappointing, I threw it away. I ordered shrimp. Drinks were expensive, even for the airport. I will skip this place next time and get a burger.

My wife and I when for lunch but I didn't know how expensive it would be!!! My bill was for $48.60 but my credit card was charged $448.60!! I have tried calling them to correct this over six times but no answer. I have emailed them twice but no response. Looks like they're a sham. Their website seems that they are part of Global Concessions. I let my credit card company handle them.

Terrific spot in Terminal F (easy to reach on air train). Good reviews were well-deserved. Grilled grouper sandwich was delicious, fresh, and a generous portion - 6-8 ounces. French fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. Nice selection of beers on tap - hoppy IPA a real treat. Prompt, friendly and efficient service.NOT typical airline terminal food. Highly recommend!

We had airline vouchers, so we splurged a bit and at at Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. The Georgia shrimp (6) were delicious and I was able to substitute fries for grits. My husband had the fish of the day and found it very good, albeit a small serving. Attentive waiter and good food.

When dining out under normal circumstances bad service is disappointing. When travelling it’s an unneeded additional stressor. Food and drink were okay, but two staff I interacted with had surly dispositions. Working in the service industry is a tough job. Full respect to those who do it well. For those who are discourteous and surly off the bat, they sour customers experience. Why patronize this place when others are available. Safe the stress and steer clear.

Jojo helped me here. She's the best, super lively. Love the healthy food options, really great! Asparagus? Broccoli? UM...yes. There's never healthy options in the airport.

Excellent service and food, both preparation and presentation (for an airport) I had the fried oysters, which were excellently prepared. The service was very attentive and responsive.

This was a great choice for my pre-TATL flight meal in ATL. I had the soft tacos - two shrimp, one chicken. They were tasty and just the right serving size for a lighter meal. The ambiance was nice, a bit noisy as I was sitting on the side next to the concourse, but for an airport, it had an energetic feel to it. Staff was friendly and efficient.

It was an ok airport location but the staff was pretty rude. I wont go into WHY they are rude but it has to do with general attitude. I would not go there again after this experience.

WhenI have a lot of time between my weekly flights through ATL I like to go to terminal F because it is the most quiet one at the airport and plenty of food options as well. Stopped here for the first time and glad I did. I was seated right away and was promptly treated by my server. I was hungry and ordered right away. I had a cup of their seafood gumbo which was tasty and savory. My main course was the shrimp and grits. Cannot pass it up when it is on a menu. It was very good. Now I have a noice place to sit-down, grab a bit and relax while traveling through ATL.

Whenever I’m in Atlanta and have time between flights I stop by for a delicious meal. I love the food here and the staff are wonderful as well. It’s worth the extra walk to get to the F gate but you won’t be disappointed.

While traveling internationally, my husband was denied seating at a regular height table and told he must sit at a high top. He explained he has an injured leg and high tops hurt his leg. He is legally disabled here in Georgia. He was then told he could not sit at the regular table. He left the restaurant, it wasn’t even busy tonight at the time he was there. Poor management, poor customer service.

We had a meal here before our flight back to the UK and it was really very good. I had the crab cakes & my husband had a burger, both delicious. All the food that came out looked good. Service was efficient & pleasant.

On a recent flight from Atlanta, I stumbled across Jekyll Island Seafood in Terminal F. I was pleased to find good seafood and craft beer in the airport. I had the shrimp and grits which were quite tasty. If I fly out of F again, I will be sure to find this restaurant again.

Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is located in the International Terminal or F Concourse, Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta, GA. Let’s face it; the flying public has very few meal choices at the Atlanta International Airport. The restaurant in Terminal B that fronts a bookstore is a great choice. Otherwise, look for food court fare and greasy tables. We do recommend several choices in the International Terminal or F Concourse. And all of these restaurants are quite easy to locate. First the lobby with the huge chandelier is first class, and one might ask at the nearby information desk. We do like the small French Meadow Bakery and Café on level one. French Meadow Bakery and Café is a “baby sister” to the wonderful French Meadow Bakery and Café in Minneapolis airport. We also recommend ECCO located above stairs at the food court level. ECCO is upscale dining with a full bar, and is actually a sit down restaurant. Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is located on the main terminal floor just below the food court and fronts on Gate # 9. Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is quite easy to find, and offers a changing menu of seafood options, soups, and salads. Wine and a bar are available. Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is a hostess seated trendy restaurant that should do great business. If we have a two hour layover or greater, we are headed to Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. The tariff is appropriate for the fare.

We had lunch at the location in Hartsfield-Jackson airport Concourse F. Ordering had to be done at the table by a QR code, no paper menus, which to us was not ideal but it worked fine. The server brought the food quickly and it was good. I had catfish tacos and my husband had catfish fingers and we each had a soda for a total of about $45 including automatically added tip of 18%. The place has enough room around the tables to set your carryon bags on the floor without anybody stepping on them. They have TV screens above the bar and one screen was showing what I assumed were photos from the actual Jekyll Island. It was a fairly relaxing experience as far as airport places go.

Great food. Quick turn around, excellent service. Blaine is humorous, courteous and efficient. The Catfish and grits was surprisingly tasty based off previous reviews. Overall great experience

Very good service by Lisa, she was very attentive and friendly. Crab & Corn Chowder was too salty ... Seafood Pasta was watery but very tasty. Decent spot, better than most airport food options you'll encounter.

The seafood Gumbo was out of this world! I ordered a cup and next time I will order the large portion. Also had the Crawfish tails which sounded fabulous but were not that good. Mostly breading and it was hard to taste the crawfish. A Blue Moon beer was very good on the side of the Gumbo. polite and prompt service. Saw many other items on the menu warranting a return visit.

Last beer before leaving the USA. Friendly service, good beer.....not overpriced either. Didn't eat but all the food we saw looked good.

I ate at the restaurant at the F concourse in the Atlanta airport. Nothing bad to report except the staff could be a more friendly or perhaps lively. The fried oysters were not that great compared to what you get at one of this restaurants outside the airport. I guess I can’t expect great service and food at airports? For the management of this place, I could have gone to my favorite Popeye Chicken at concourse B and gotten a much better atmosphere and service from those people working at a much cheaper restaurant. Beer was good: Jekyll Island Cooter Brown.

Landed from London craved some real American food, I turned the corner bellied up to the bar and ordered som Jekyll Island seafood chowder. Mmmm Good crab meat chowder that melted in my mouth a couple of crackers a pint of suds and a waiter that was a die hard Hawks fan .......Its good to be back in the colonies.

Nice surprise alternative to standard airport fare. Located downstairs in the international concourse F.

For an airport restaurant, this is very good food. Located in the international F concourse, this restaurant is convenient and well worth a visit before a long flight with bad airline food. We had the generouse and tasty seafood and grits and the gumbo, small bowl but tasty.

I visited the restaurant in December 2015. I had a long layover so I had time to explore. The waiter was so friendly and the service was quick. The food was delicious. I had the crawfish tails and asparagus. The asparagus was grilled and the crawfish were fried with a tasty cornmeal crust. Salivating right now! Of course it is overpriced because it is in the airport, which is why I gave it 4 stars. The portions were not large either.

On clearing Security for a trans-Atlantic flight from F concorse I looked for a place to eat. The airport signage for 'Restaurants' directed me to the mezzanine, where except for a wine bar and Starbucks, there were only fast food outlets typical of the food court of a rundown shopping mall. Not seeing any alternative I bought a meal from one of these outlets and it was almost inedible so I left it. Descending to the main floor I walked despondently on to my gate. But, lo and behold! there was the Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant which had not been visible when the signage mis-directed me to the mezzanine area. Apparently the Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is currently the only sit down restaurant on the concorse so the airport 'Restaurant' signage is doubly misleading. I still had room for a starter so opted for the crab cake. It was superb, made almost entirely of crab with delicate flavoring and nicely moist. I helped it down with a nice glass of white wine. After my experience on the mezzanine above, it was indeed a delight to end up at the Jekyll Island seafood Restaurant. I walked on to the gate with a spring in my step.

Wanting something different and having the time I stopped by this place in F concourse before an INTL flight to AMS. Other than the initial service being a bit slow and them bringing me a bowl gumbo instead of a cup... found the food very good, hot, and tasty. Considering it was an airport, not crazy expensive either.

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the only real restaurant on Concourse F at Atlanta International Airport, since while waiting for my international flight to board I have enjoyed numerous times their starter item, a large crab cake with a glass of wine to satisfyingly fill the time. Alas, the last occasion I tried to do the same the crab cake starter was off the menu. The waiter commented this had not been the first time he had heard this lament. There was no other starter item which attracted me so I left.

Great service! Thank you Cayla🍺. Good beer Cooter Brown. Nice fresh salad and an okay blacken fish sandwich. Enjoyed the fries with the sauce.

I had fish tacos there recently before flying to France. It tasted okay but i was sick during the whole trip. The waiter acted like the only thing he cared for was that i did not forget the tip, so he circled the tip suggestions with a marker and checked that i did leave tips before i left. Another example why service should be included. But anyway, i will try to remember such an experience to not do the same mistake again: eat seafood in a random place that claims to be a seafood place.

Every so often, one has a two – three hour lay over in Atlanta’s Hartsfield. Too bad someone does not print a neat small dining guide, which might include online listings like One Flew South, Paschal’s Southern Cuisine , Ecco, and Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. Simply omit the food courts, burger places, and the other “greasy spoons.” There is a dedicated flying public, who will seek out Cafe Intermezzo and the like. We are not going out of security for a decent meal. We strongly recommend several choices in the International Terminal or F Concourse. And all of these restaurants are quite easy to locate. Finally, Atlanta has added an element of class with the huge chandelier, centered in the atrium of the International Terminal. Today, we had an opportunity to revisit Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is a five – eight minute ride from nearly all terminals, and one takes leave of the madness and chaos of Hartsfield. The publican presides over a first rate bar. The hostess and severs are experienced. Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant offers adults a first-rate seafood menu, as well as fare for the land lover. Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is intentionally upscale, and perhaps a bit expensive for families. Perhaps, Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is a bit more expensive than the hot dog and burger places; however Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant is one of our best choices in Hartsfield. Today, we had the shrimp and grits; honestly we heard folks from three tables ask what are shrimp and grits. We observe that nearly every Hilton Head restaurant serves better shrimp and grits, but we are at Hartsfield. We enjoy the cheesey, buttery, bowl of shrimp and grits. Venture forth to Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. The dining experience is worth a few extra dollars. The fare is appropriate for the tariff.

We had a several hour layover and wanted to find a restaurant in our terminal where we could sit down and be served. This is a full service restaurant in the middle of one of the terminal. The food was pretty good and the portions are nice sized. We had salads for lunch. One was a caesar with salmon and the other was a wedge with blackened chicken. The prices are a little steep, but what you would expect at any airport. The only negative was the service which was pretty slow. It was difficult to find or get a server and their attitude wasn't great.

The location is peaceful and the Seafood was great soup and fish was very tasty everything seems fresh ...recommended

Restaurant choices in Terminal F are rather limited, unlike Terminal E and others. There's a food court with the usual range of choices and a few bars. This was at least reasonable to try while we waited for our flight to Mexico. We had a family group of 4 people, and we wound up with a lot of good choices. We split a gumbo, which was good but different from NOLA gumbos, and a spinach salad with chicken. Our daughter and her friend split the grilled Atlantic salmon entree, and they had plenty of food. The service was good, and they were mindful of those who had limited time before their flight. I would not make the trek to Terminal F just to come here, but if you are waiting for a flight, it's worth a try.

Ok. There was a nicer place in concourse E if you have time to go there instead of concourse F, 1 minute train journey. Felt fleeced, it could have been far better as decor & music is good.

Liked the food very much - might as well been in a fast food restaurant - servers were "sloppin' the hogs" - zero service/could have cared less about the customers. Bartenders conducting personal business, NO "southern hospitality", no service. Will never come back again.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food at this Airport location. The Shrimp and Grits were smooth and cooked perfectly. The chicken sandwich was a fresh, hand breaded breast. The service was outstanding as well. Just a great meal experience

´Tis a grand day to visit Palm Beach. Our connection to Palm Beach permits us to visit one of our favorite Hartsfield restaurants: Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. Blaine, our server is in excellent spirits. We find the salmon dinner to be excellent as are the shrimp and grits. It is pleasant to take our leave from Concourse B and take the Plane Train to the International Terminal. Two excellent dinners, and we like the open-air ambience of Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. The fare is appropriate for the tariff.

Good service, free Wi-Fi, and tasty food. We both had the fish sandwich-blackened was better than fried. Fries were okay. Seafood pasta and shrimp and grits at the next table looked good. Reasonable beer selection, but they ID everyone including senior citizens.

Typical airport restaurant/bar, but the warm seafood salad was very good - spinach salad with 4 grilled shrimp, 4 grilled sea scallops, some blue crab meat and capers. I skipped the dressing, but my one taste said it would have been nice on the salad. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Was excited to see this restaurant before my long flight as I love seafood and always like chowder. Luckily I managed to get a table as there was a line after I got seated. Ordered corn and crab chowder and crab cakes. Both really tasty! Happy belly before flying!

I had a lunch portion of grilled tilapia covered in a creole sauce. The fish tasted excellent and was well prepared. It was served on top of spinach and mashed potatoes. The facility was new, clean and well taken care of. The service was a little slow, but it turned out the food was worth it. I was somewhat disappointed when I wanted the corn and clam chowder and it was out. This was surprising considering it was lunch time.

We came here based on reviews and yes, it is quite good, and not just compared to "airport food". I had a cup of gumbo, and shrimp and grits, and both were very tasty and perfectly seasoned. If it weren't a public place I might have licked the plate! Jk. Our servers were very friendly and attentive. Even if you're not flying out of concourse F, if you have a longer layover it is worth the train ride.

Was having a so so day and a lot of travel ahead, but stopped in for a quick bite before my long flight and glad that I did. My sever was super nice and friendly and the food was just perfect to the taste! I overheard another table saying that the staff was very friendly.

Thanks Delaney for excellent service and recommendations We will be back and try the other options as well Thanks for a wonderful place to rest and eat a great meal

although the Salmon was good...the glass of wine I ordered with it was absolutely terrible. In fact the entire wine list has nothing to recommend it. Make no mistake...the airport personnel will try to direct you here for "good meal - better than average" but it doesn't perform that way. You might as well go to one of the noisy chain restaurants in another concourse.

This was my 3rd or 4th visit to this restaurant on Concourse F. The food is always good. I had the Fish Tacos on my most recent visit. Very good although the portions are a little smaller than I prefer. Consider it a light meal. Service is prompt and very good. I've also had the pasta meal on previous visits and it is also very good. JISC is better than most ATL airport restaurants.

We had five hours in the Atlanta airport and spent a good hour of it having wonderful food and wine at this place. Really not accustomed to having first rate seafood in an airport but I could get used to it........

I fly through, to, and from the Atlabta airport quite often. There are lots of new great high quality food options on F Concourse. One of those options is Jekyll Island Seafood. This place definitely has a Georgia theme and it's well done. While they do have catfish on the menu this isnt just a fried fish place. They have several grilled fish options, shrimp from the coast of Georgia with Southern grits, grilled fish/shrimp/chicken tacos, & lots more. I ordered an appetizer of fried oysters and calamari and I thought it was interesting that there was a little corn meal in the batter. It tasted great. A nice way to add a Georgian flair to a dish. They have beer from the local Atlanta microbrewery Sweetwater as well as the normal selections. a very decent wine list including some regional varieties and they have a full bar. I have been here twice and I was given great service by Blaine and I will travel from the other concourses as long as I have time if at all possible.

Went to the restaurant on March 19, 2024 and we had one beer and a glass of wine before our overseas flight. When I checked our credit card statement we were charged $321.06. The restaurant did not provide a receipt because you place your order on line with your credit card and the kitchen brings your order to the table. This place is a ripoff!!! I’m still trying to resolve this.

We had a light snack here during a layover. It's a nice change from the usual airport restaurants. I had quesadillas stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat. My wife had crab cakes. Both were excellent. Full bar, wines and beers. Free wifi complements of the airport. Next best thing to actually going to Jekyll Island.

I stopped here for a light lunch prior to a flight. It didn’t look like there was a lot of service going out to the tables so I sat at the bar. I was greeted and given a menu immediately. I ordered a glass of Waterbrook Malbec ($9) and a bowl of Seafood Gumbo ($10). The Catfish Fingers beckoned, but I resisted. I received my glass of Malbec immediately after producing my Wisconsin driver’s license; it’s state law and I know it from buying at some of the local package stores. Knowing the law, I can stifle a snort or a giggle (I am in my 50’s); the guys on either side of me, both going to Minneapolis, could not contain their astonishment at getting carded. Be nice to the bartender, they can’t help it.... The Malbec was a little too cool. Let it warm to room temp, it’ll taste better. And please don’t put it in a cold place! The gumbo was outstanding, full of fresh seafood and andouille sausage. Just a little spice; could be spicier, that would be ok. Really loaded with good tasting shrimp as well as scallops. I have already recommended it around. Thank you Shaneka for the great service!

Very good seafood restaurant. We asked the person next to us what he order and he suggested we try to Chefs Fish Filet Sandwich. It was really a great choice. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich as it was quite a delight to eat. Definitely try this when you are in Atlanta.

I had the shrimp and grits which is my favorite southern coastal meal. The food was probably the best I've had, which was unexpected for an airport. The concourse isn't very crowded so if you have a long layover and want to get in some exercise, it's worth walking to the F terminal for this food. I'll definitely go again.

We went out of the way to get to terminal F to eat here based on the menu. Seating and service were painfully slow to the point that .I got nervous we might not make it back to terminal B for our connecting flight. DH states beer was great. My fish taco was "meh" but the seafood pasta was fantastic! Appetizer came out after we were finished our meal. Only because I asked for it. Sigh.

We’re having dinner at the Jekyll Island Restaurant in Terminal F Atlanta Airport. The service is excellent! Special thanks to Kayla! She made our day! Super friendly and personable.

Nice beer, good gumbo and wings and quick service. Exactly what is required when passing through an airport.

Long day of travel and waiting on overseas late night flight, my friend and I chose this spot to have a meal. Service was very good and they were busy. We had a nice table "people watching" - open to the concourse but still not too noisy so we could converse. Menu had enough variety and was priced reasonably. Food was served fairly quickly and at correct temperatures. Certainly would consider this place again when at this airport.

We ate here because we had a very late evening international flight and we did not want to wait. The food was very good The drinks were good The service was excellent

The food was delicious- much better than the typical airport fare. Great service too. I highly recommend for lunch or dinner while you are waiting to catch your flight.

Stopped for a late breakfast before departing. Had the southern tradition with a side of slaw. Coffee was good and liked the free refills. The grits were perfect and the fish was tender and flaky. Can’t say I liked the slaw until I dumped my tartar sauce into it, then it came alive. $32 with the tip.

We waited 45 minutes to get my food this is airport. People have plans to catch. Food is 2 out of 10. Customer service 3 out of 10. Would not recommend this place to anybody.

Unfortunately there are no decent options to eat at the International terminal. Mostly fast food and there is the Ecco which has also very average food selection and this one. Well this is fast food but mostly seafood. If you are really hungry you are fine. Not good, not bad simply very average. Sitting at the bar is a bit for one than at one of the small tables. Service is very polite and effective however.

Heading out for vacation, with a 3hr lay over. Decided to try the fish tacos. They were so-so. Everything we ordered was over priced, for the quality

Great Shrimp & grits. It all tasted fresh, and was reasonably priced. Seating was casual and the wait staff was friendly.

As far as airport restaurants go, this one isn't bad. It is much better than a burger, or something greasy but don't let your hopes get too high as regarding the seafood. The clam chowder that they had while I was there was pretty tasty.

Passing through Atlanta Airport stopped for a spot of lunch. The choice in the airport is pretty limited but this appeared to be the best available. Location is a shame as it is a bit like an old fashioned Wimpy bar, completely open to the passing throng. For the price charged it would be nice to have a little privacy - even if only a glass screen. Service was quick and friendly. I had shrimp in crumbs with sauces to start with, tasty, but pretty basic. I then had a mixed platter which was largely good, but let down by the scallops which were past their best and tasted very fishy. Accompanied by an outrageously priced but tasty glass of sauvignon blanc, it all went down well, but with a final bill of nearly $70 it cannot be called good value.

Having perused all the dining options at the airport which are notoriously overpriced, this looked to be the best value option. We selected a club sandwich with fries and a couple of beers. For airport food, it was quite good. The order process is done by QR code where you pay at the table as your order. Suspect the problem with erroneous bills seen on other reviews is a failure to close down the tab as you leave as this remains open even after you have paid.

I had Caesar Salad followed by the chicken sandwich. Was not very sure about eating seafood in an airport cafe. But the food was ok would try seafood next time. Staff were good and importantly service was fast but they were only half full.

We were sure glad we found this place in the F terminal. Food was great and the prices were good for the airport. We tried this by luck and were happy with our choice. Vegan options, quick food or full meal, and spacious for the airport.

Wow! Great and speedy food. I had the gumbo which was filled with seafood and just enough rice to say it is there, but not so much you lose the soup. The seafood pasta was excellent as well, lots of seafood in it and flavored excellently. Much better quality than you'd expect from an airport.

I've never been the kind of person who chooses to go to odd places to find good seafood, but it has happened. After passing by this location several times waiting on international flights, I decided to give it a try. Now each time I fly international, which at least twice a month, this is where my coworkers and I stop to eat. This location has a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits along with great seafood. The service has always been great but the prices are somewhat high. There is great free wifi in the airport but you can also get on to the wifi at this restaurant as well. I have never been disappointed in my meal selection. Great seafood.

We often eat at Ecco located on the second level but have somehow missed Jekyll Island Seafood until our latest trip through the Atlanta airport. The baked tilapia was delicious. My wife has the fish tacos and they were equally good. You would never suspect these were made in an airport kitchen!

I love coming back to the south, where service is king and the food is pretty doggone good. The gumbo is great and the salad held its own. The salmon slice was small for the price, but hey, its an airport.

Brightly lit, with an attractive bar backdrop and a few sports screens, you will enjoy real food at Jekyll Island instead of the usual gruel found in our airports' flavorless and greasy wasteland. The gumbo came with five or six shrimp, a few sausage chunks, and enough heat to sparkle your tastebuds without overdoing it. A lesser restaurant might try to get by on salt and spice, but Jekyll Island brings some complexity. A biscuit instead of the two crackers would have been a really nice and fitting touch though. The Georgia Trout came pan fried with steamed broccoli and confetti rice packed with some peppers, bacon and black-eyed peas. The broccoli retained its flavor and came al dente rather than limp. The slightly sweet sauce on the good-sized fillet of perfectly cooked trout complemented rather than overwhelmed the fish. I could have done without the bacon in the rice which imparted an overall smokiness to the flavor, but I loved the firmness of the grains and the recipe certainly wasn't the run-of-the-mill rice that you find at most restaurants; airport or not. With good food -- real food, prompt and unobtrusive service, and a full bar, Jekyll Island was just what I needed for dinner during my three plus hour layover before my night flight to Santiago.

The food is decent for an airport and pricey but expected for an airport. The problem I had and want to warn other travellers is the shady billing by at least one server. I ordered a hamburger and crawfish and a soda. When I finished the server came over slapped a bill in the table, after making me wait a good 10 minutes after knowing I was finished. Figuring I was in a rush she told me my bill was $35 and change. I gave her $40 and told her that was fine. She said thank you and left. Being on business I needed my receipt however she didn't leave it on the table. I went to the counter and asked for it. Because I was wanting to get going I left and went to my gate. Upon looking at my bill while waiting to board I looked at the bill. $31 and change. Under there bill is suggested tips. The server quoted my final bill as the actual bill PLUS SUGGESTED TIP. This server walked away with a $9 tip on a $31 dollar order. I don't know about Atlanta, bit where I live this is considered illegal. Beware of these billing practices.

If you have the time, this is a absolute gem of a restaurant. Gumbo & Blackened Tilapia are fantastic

There are not too many dining options in F Concourse. We enjoyed our stop here for lunch. My husband ordered the pasta with seafood and I had a soup. The meal arrived quickly and was nicely prepared. The waiter took good care of us and all in all it was a nice experience. We had a local beer with our meal wish was great. We will stop here again if we fly from concourse F.

I had several hours to kill at Atlanta's Hartsfield airport and wanted a decent dinner before flying home. Having gone through Atlanta several times before I knew the fare was limited to the typical pub and sandwich places. After searching the directory I made my way to concourse F and found Jekyll Island Seafood. The service was great and the food even better. As the name says it was primarily seafood although they did list some other dishes. I had the gumbo and combo( fish, shrimp, chicken) tacos both were excellent. If you have the time it's worth the ride to concourse F to eat at Jekyll Island Seafood.

I had the Trout. The broccoli it came with was very good. So was the rice, which had beans, bacon etc mixed in with it. The fish was overcooked, so a bit dry and tough. Service rather slow. Could be good with a little more TLC.

Following a loooooooooong layover at the Savannah Airport, we were determined to visit Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. Folks, the prices are in line with 4 star Hilton Head restaurants, and the seafood is of superior quality. As luck would have it, Delta landed at the International Concourse, and that is very unusual. Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant was filled on a Friday night, and a few tables were available. Servers were all hustlers, and Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant offers a pasta plate with just about every kind of seafood. Great dinner, management, and service. The tariff is appropriate for the fare.

If you have a long layover in Atlanta and are looking for a place to eat. Make the hike to terminal F and Jekyll Island Seafood. Nice wines by the glass, good cocktail menu, but the food is outstanding. We had the crab chowder, buffalo shrimp and shrimp and grits. All we very good, but the chowder and grits were the real winners. Jeremy behind the bar will give you honest and helpful comments and the menu, don't be shy to ask. The whole staff helped to make a very enjoyable meal.

I was originally invited here for a brunch but it turned into an early dinner because so many of my friends were late. The ambiance is pretty pleasant and the wait staff very attentative. Ok, I waited for my friends to arrive so I decided to have a special lobster roll but I could not stop there. The lobster was so thick and meaty that I ordered another and then another until I was in a lobster coma.

I’ve been coming to this airport restaurant for YEARS, to have dinner before an international flight and sleep on the plane. After Covid, I was so please they reopened but this visit was a waste of time and money. No more crab cakes. Plastic serveware, paper plates. They used to use glass and ceramic/presentable serveware. Bartender could care less about me and my order, and asked for it three times before it was right. Sad to say that an overcrowded Delta Lounge is now better than what was a fantastic alternative. Bye bye, Jekyll Island Seafood Company and a great pre-flight dining alternative.

For a nice break from the food court madness at the airport, try this friendly alternative. I had the salmon and a delightful glass of Oberon. Still an airport restaurant but a cut above. Not cheap but tasty.

Spotted the sign which looked enticing and opted to try then for a lunch .. simply amazing quality of found and The Classic Caesar Salad with Blackened Seasoning Shrimps blew me away as did the superb Key Lime Pie for Desert plus two glasses of excellent Edna Valley Merlot!!! The chap serving me Rahim could not have been kinder and more attentive !!! If travelling through this airport , Jekyll Island is a must !!!!!

We were at this restaurant 3 weeks ago - have just stopped traveling or I would have reviews this place earlier. Concourse F does not have many nice places- mostly Fast Food. But we luckily came across this place and recommend it. The food was very good (I got the fish tacos) and our server (Kayla) was very friendly and helpful describing the options. Would recommend. Note: they do serve other things besides seafood.

F concourse, excellent meal! Blackened catfish tacos and Tito’s and ginger. Best meal of my trip!! Great service as well, I definitely recommend.

With hours to kill in an airport i've been used to lacklustre restaurants cashing in on a captive audience. So it was a real delight to find this place quite close to the gate i was at. My big mistake was only ordering a starter portion of the gumbo. If I'd known it was going to be that good i'd have had it as a main. It was far tastier that a fairly pedestrian burger that i opted for instead. A touch on the pricey side, but not ridiculous for an airport. Their own ice tea was very refreshing too.

I was really excited when I saw catfish on the menu, but it was just okay. Pros: quick turnaround for sit down meal. The cheese grits was decent. Cons: I was really disappointed with the batter for the catfish. I much prefer the one used in Nashville restaurants. I might have to try something else on the menu next time, or maybe simply try another restaurant...

Slow day means quiet times here. Nice. ID is required by law so those who complain just don't understand. It is an international airport lounge so prices will be high. But they are not astronomical. $15 for crab cakes - good crab cakes - is not unreasonable. They had a good amount of fresh crab and had a nice mild spice. A perfect pre-flight snack. Six decent beers on draught. Nice people. I have had one slow server here but this trip it was Nyiko on the job and he is a happy guy who spreads that contagious smile all over. The one downer was that they ran out of my precious Sambuca, but they gave me what was left in the bottle for free. Cool Enough. As a frequent flyer I take this place for what it is - a good place to get a drink and a bite to eat while killing time waiting on a flight.

We were flying out of the international terminal and wanted a small snack while we were waiting. The service was good and the place was open with a good view of our gate. The food came fast and was good.

We stumbled upon this restaurant in the international terminal on the way to South America. The food was so good that, on the return flight, we waited until it opened at 9 AM to again sample the gumbo and corn/crab chowder. In addition, the fish sandwich and fried oysters we had on the outgoing trip were outstanding. The only thing I didn't like was they automatically added an 18% tip to the bill.

I had an hour or so in the Atlanta airport and made my way from Terminal A to F (opposite ends) with MUCH excitement for what sounded like a great seafood place. It was 12:30 on a Sunday, and the international terminal was fairly quiet. I was promptly seated by a nice hostess. There were only one other table (of 4, lingering after lunch over drinks), and a table of two, which had drinks/food already. There were a few other single travelers at the bar, which seemed to get attention quite readily. I waited patiently for five minutes for service, and then impatiently for another five; all the while I watched the staff hang out at the bar. Now I don't know about you, but isn't the airport one of those few places we can assume that a customer doesn't have boundless amounts of time to wait without so much as drink service or even a hello? Given this, I could only assume the entire experience would mirror this initial encounter, and I didn't have two hours to spare for an airport lunch. With a heavy sigh at not getting that seafood I'd been so excited for, I left and grabbed a salad to go from TGI Friday's. As I stood to leave of course a waitress came over and said she was on her way; alas, it was too late.

Was surprised to find such a nice casual seafood restaurant at the airport. Had never heard of this chain, but the wait staff was friendly, service was quick, the prices were reasonable and the food was pretty good. I had the fish sandwich (blackened) and fries and it was more than sufficient. Highly recommend if you happen to be on concourse F.

Ate a late dinner here on a long layover. Had a bowl of the Crab & Corn Chowder and a combo (3) of the tacos (one chicken, one fish, one shrimp). Everything tasted very good, service also very good (Lucy).

Ate here on our layover July 11 and were glad we did. As the title says, we had the best shrimp and grits ever - and we live on the Gulf coast and have eaten this dish many times, at many restaurants, over many years. We also had the crab cakes, which were wonderful, too. Service was very good and prompt. In fact. several other employees stopped by our table for a quick "how's everything." I'd love to have this place in my hometown, we'd be regulars.

This is a high quality, fair priced, nice please for a connection break at ATL. The shrimp and grits were absolutely spectacular. The service was excellent. it's always a very pleasant surprise to find a place that you actually like at an airport

This is one of two "sit-down" restaurants available in Concourse F of the Atlanta International Airport. Its very "open" to the concourse - almost like eating in a food court, but they did have a small bar at the back end. Tables are close and difficult to maneuver with roller bags. Large Caesar salad topped with a generous portion of grilled chicken and the chicken was hot! Chowder was served in a huge bowl with the chowder hardly covering the bottom of the bowl.

It’s kind of in the open, but the food and service is great. I had the blackened shrimp tacos at the suggestion of the staff. Excellent.

Stuck in Atlanta for six hours- had to try this. Amazing pasta. I was actually glad for a long layover coming home so we could eat here again.

For an airport, quality was very good. Caesar's salad was plentiful and tasty. Gumbo was served in large bowl but serving barely covered bottom. Everything was very pricey. Service was below average.

I always eat here when I have to travel international. The beer on draft is always ice cold. The seafood selections are very good and fresh. Sheri is very sweet and fast. Great bartender. It's pricey becuase it's the airport. If you are traveling on business, eat here if a budget is not an issue. If you are on a budget, you might want to avoid. Cheers!

There are only a few choices of restaurants to sit, have a beer and eat in the International terminal. This restaurant has decent seafood and some good beer choices. The Jekyll Island brews were pretty good. I had the Salmon which was well prepared and tasted great. The waitress I had was not very personable and most likely overworked. I realized just recently when doing my expense report that she charged me an extra $2 on my CC. Please check your bill. I tried calling the restaurant but the line went dead.

We thought to get a bite before boarding and the food was good but the guy who waited on us took a long time to assist us, there were a couple of people in the restaurant but it wasn't busy as it was only around 7am. he seemed to be purposely ignoring us until we raised out hand and called him and even then it took him a couple of minutes to get to us.

I went here with somewhat high hopes of a good seafood meal and was disappointed. The crab bisque was ok, but the catfish fingers were inedible.

The food her is decent although it is a bit pricy however you are inside an airport. Shrimp and grits is nit only a classic dish but done very well. We will be back!

My wife and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Jekyll Island restaurant while waiting a really long time for our delayed flight. We were flying domestically, but ventured out to the international terminal to kill time. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem at an airport. We shared the shrimp and grits and the shrimp quesadillas, and had the gumbo to start. The gumbo was flavorful and well balanced—just spicy enough to keep things interesting. The shrimp (get them blackened) was well seasoned and grits were buttery and rich. The quesadillas were filling and cheesy, but benefited from Tabasco. The reasonably priced sparkling wine complemented the meal nicely. If you have the time, be sure to get to the F terminal for a taste of New Orleans.

The customer service was very dissatisfied. I do not plan to spend another dime at this restaurant. I spoke to the manager about my experience that I had with the presentation of my food and the services. The manager response was, did I specify that I wanted grill or fried shrimps. Not one time did he apologizes about my experiences, he continued on making it seem as if It was the fault my order was wrong. Then when I showed him my food, that had the receipt paper sitting on top of my shrimps and broccoli. He responses was that's how we do, we put the receipt paper in the same box with your food. How nasty and unprofessionally for him to tell me that. I will not recommend anyone to go eat there, not to mention the customer service is horrible. With them its more about the money and not you as a customer. I left without the food or money.

All airports are trying to up their game to make at least the time in the airport more enjoyable. This spot on the international terminal of the Atlanta airport is part of that move. We enjoyed a pretty standard chicken breast that was greatly improved with a shallot and mushroom sauce served over really really garlic potatoes. They even removed the green pepper from the sauce at my request. My husband enjoyed a standard 1/2 pound burger with parmesan fries. Couple beers each and we were ready to continue our trip home.

I wanted something small to have, just before I board the plane to Heathrow. Their salad was excellent, the service was fast and I am certain that on May, I will visit again this restaurant as I have another flight to catch.

Great service but food is poorly prepared. Chowder was so salty my mouth was raw afterwards, and oyster basket was such a poor attempt, way too much batter for such tiny oysters and then fried way too long so it was desiccated. I managed to eat a couple but left the rest as inedible.

Went to this restaurant and had 2 beers and a dessert. Paid the bill and left. It was one when I checked my credit card statement that I noticed that I’d been significantly overcharged! Called and emailed the restaurant but got no response. Disgraceful! Check your bill before you pay!

This is a good food/cocktail option in concourse F. The menu isn't exciting, but there are options for salads, pasta, sandwiches, etc. The shrimp/fish tacos are tasty.

The calamari were rubbery tough but the oysters were good (the wife's captains platter appetizer) I had the grilled fish sammich and very underwhelmed. Not worth a repeat. Service wasn't bad and the slaw was quite good. Not quite on my "must revisit" list as you can see.

in Atlanta airport your choices are pretty limited. It is either stupid expensive or fast food. We were pleasantly surprised by Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant. The food was resonable and very good. We shared a Blue Chees Wedge Salad and Crab Cakes. It was a very nice dinner before our trip to Europe. A nice shout out to the waiter....he was funny and personable.

Jekyll Island Seagood is tucked away on Concourse F. It's a small restaurant but great food. Like any airport restaurant it's very noisy, but service was good and the Shrinp and Geits worth the trip from Concourse B (Atlanta travelers will understand what that means!).

The food is not great at all and prices totally outrageous. In addition, service is overwhelmed and cleanliness borderline. Cannot believe this place has 4/5 rating!!!

Stopped here for lunch between flights in Atlanta airport. The waitress Joanna was warm and welcoming in a hectic airport. Drinks and food were delivered timely, hot, and good.

We were helped with seating, making it easier for my husband, who uses a cane by friendly staff. We wanted only a light supper and ordered gumbo, which was almost too spicy for us, but would be perfect for many. New Orleans style food has become much more peppery since I lived there in the late 1960's. I would definitely eat here again, but choose another dish, such as, fried shrimp.

It's just a few minutes on the airport underground to get to the international terminal. Today, at least, the area is not crowded and the restaurant had a pleasant layout. The server was helpful and attentive. About as good as it gets at ATL that I have found.

Great wine & great food for the airport. Ordered creole tilapia & was cooked to perfection & well flavoured. Located on the lower floor of the concourse so is quite noisy but worth a visit if you want to avoid airline food on your travels.

Airport food is notoriously overpriced and of low quality, so if we're grading on a curve this place is a solid A-minus. Quick service, efficient ordering via a QR code on your table, and a fairly interesting selection of seafood-oriented dishes. I had the catfish fingers with a side of fried jalapenos, with honey mustard dip. I was skeptical about the combo but it paired quite nicely together. Price-wise it's steep, but you can do a LOT worse in an airport.

A good location (no need to go until to the food court) and decent service, for a seafood menu with good selections. My preference would have been the crayfish tacos, but the waitress suggested they were sub-par today as other customers had complained about them, and recon fed instead the crab cakes, than were indeed very tasty, with good consistency and interesting side of corn. It was reasonably quick and inexpensive at 15$

Wonderful food and fantastic service! Would recommend it to anyone! Crab and corn chowder and blackened fish, shrimp, and crawfish were terrific!

I ate here while waiting for a flight. Food and service was great and for an airport restaurant I was surprised. If you have a layover in Atlanta, you would do well to eat here.

Rude server, I had a over 21 ID but he did not believe me that I was over 21 so he demanded to see it again. He told me that I did not look over 21. That is fine if I do not look the age, but at least know the appropriate year that one is supposed to be in order to drink.

While on a layover before our flight to France, we had dinner at this small but fun place. Our waitress, Jojo, was fun and so personable. She made our evening special. The food was really good too and my partner loved their beer selection.

We both had the gumbo which was very good. My wife had the shrimp and grits which she thoroly enjoyed. I had the crawfish tails served like popcorn shrimp. They were good. Altho guests of Delta, we still spent a bundle with drinks. Our service was very good.

International Concourse F at ATL. Blaine welcomed us and provided great service during the meal. The Crab Dip was a surprise delight. Great for an airport restaurant. The Grilled grouper was good as well. Jambalaya pasta was ok; but, probably better earlier in the day. Blaine kept our glasses full and our spirits high.

I often venture over to Concourse F if my 2x/week layover is longish and decided to give this joint a try. I regret it. Maybe it's my fault. I married a Cajun girl that knows a thing or two about seafood and how to cook it. This aint it. The seafood gumbo was moderate. Nothing special. The crab cakes were likewise kind of myeh. The worst part of the experience was the server. Waitress. Whatever. Acting like you're doing me a favor by 'allowing' me to eat there? Gimme a break. And -I hope you noticed- my tip was directly proportionate to the number of smiles you gave me. (It's the service industry. Act like you appreciate my business. Or find another line of work.)

1 This restaurant is charging my card many times, they are stealing my money!!! Dont trust your card with them!!! I was there 10 days ago, and they are taking money from my card every day!!!

Came there just for curiosity and was pleasantly surprised by high quality of meals and especially incredibly attentive service. Prices are not low, but the level of dining exceeds anything I remember from airport restaurants - except for atmosphere, as it is located directly in the departures hall, but that's hardly their fault.

Great food and drinks. It's slightly overpriced due to being inside of the airport but worth a stop if you are in F Concourse.

Having been to Jekyll Island and stayed in the Jekyll Island Club Hotel on our trip and looking to have some decent food before boarding American Airlines for home, we could not resist eating here. It was the last hurrah- and a very very good one at that. I had the Jekyll Island Platter- shrimp, crawfish, scallops, founder and more. Excellent. My wife wanted a last taste of the south, which she loved so much, and had shrimp and grits. Again a very good meal and a great way to finish up, even if I did find I was in the wrong terminal and we ended up rushing for the gate, arriving as the flight was half boarded!Like most airport food it is not particularly cheap but well worth paying a bit extra for a nice experience- and great memories

Stopped in for a beer on a long layover between flights. Justin my server was a great guy and was very funny and kept the bar entertained. I did not eat, but what food I saw looked good. I would spot there again if in the terminal for a layover.

I had the best crabcake ever (had shrimp in it too --and no celery thank goodness). The grits were sweet and silky...wonderful! I asked them to add pineapple to my slaw which made it wonderful! My husband had the appitizer hot crab dip which he enjoyed, and my daughter had wings and fries (huge steak fries). Service and atmosphere was great. Menu was ok...a bit limited. It was a little pricey I thought. $47.00 plus tip for lunch.

Excellent ! Good thing at my gate this was only option. But they were surprisingly good. Perfect service, and free wifi that the waitress setup immediately . Food was good, and the menu was easy to select from. Couldn't ask for more in a massive airport between flights !

We stopped in here in terminal F and were supremely happy with the food quality! We ordered buffalo wings and the portions on that dish was quite large with lots of big steak fries and some tasty sauces. My wife ordered clam chowder soup, which came with some toasted bread and it was as good or similar to Ivars in Seattle. Service was good as well. Prices average

My wife and I just enjoyed a lovely break in this little spot in the Atlanta Airport. It is in section F on the first floor. Smallish with videos of coral life, fish and travelogues of Jekyll Island, it offers peace, good food and warm, friendly staff. Our server was a friendly delightful girl, originally from Eritrea in Africa. We enjoyed shrimp quesadillas (a trifle salty but still tasty) and some fabulous fish tacos. We had ice water, Jekyll Island wine, a local very hoppy and tasty draught beer, finished with a nice piece of key lime pie. All in all, a nice break from the rigours of travel and a memorable slice of southern charm.

They charged my card $696 dollars, didn't give me a receipt. I'm disputing the charges but I don't have proof. Don't go there, all these reviews are true, the food is terrible, the staff very moody. They're a fraud.

Rarely is a meal at an airport restaurant anything other than disappointing, and yet our meal at Jekyll Island was definitely not that. On this trip to the Deep South I have developed a love of creole cooking and this was a good example as any I have had in the last few weeks. The Gumbo was really nice and my tilapia was tasty and well seasoned, staff efficient and friendly. The best airport restaurant I have been in for some time.

Most airport food is bad but not here good food at fair prices combined with great service.A must P, ace to eat

Like another reviewer, we were in concourse F on a three hour layover and looked for a place serving steaks. The restaurant area only had sandwiches. We were going to head to a different concourse when we spotted Jekyll Island. One steak choice on the menu but it was very good. We also had the seafood platter which included a nice selection of shrimp, scallops, and fish filet. The portions were large and not too expensive considering the airport location. Service was a little slow with staff walking past the table but rarely ever stopping. The server we did have was friendly and nice but should have been more attentive.

Waiting for overseas flight. Sat at bar to eat lunch. Great fresh seafood selections. A couple of GA beers on tap along with expected regular stuff. Justin, our bartender/ server was excellent- efficient, friendly, funny.

I had gone down to F concourse since my flight was leaving from there min a couple of hours. Walked around and finally decided to drop in here at the bar for a glass of wine. The server handed me a menu and retrieved my wine immediately. After a while I decided to order a cup of the gumbo. I liked it so well I ordered a second cup. Should have ordered a bowl instead. But the gumbo was excellent, some of the best I have had including my own homemade which I really like. Definitely be back the next time in the concourse.

While traveling on business, I had a taste for seafood and I was told about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Beautifully placed in the airport. The restaurant was busy with lots of patrons. I was greeted by the Hostess and seated at a table. The menu had many great entrees and I ordered the Coastal Seafood Pasta and Crab Cakes. The wait was about twenty-five minutes the food came out beautifully displayed and hot. The food was delicious and my waitress was professional and courteous. If you have plenty of time before your flight and you crave seafood this is your spot on F Concourse. I commend the Management and Staff at Jekyll Island Seafood Restaurant for their exceptional service, Kudos to you all.

We ordered grilled fish sandwich sandwich. Was perfectly cooked. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend if you are stuck at the Atlanta airport for a while.
Had to try it again just to be sure, still dang good!!!
Food in the airport typically to me is just tolerated even with the inflated prices. Jekyll Island Seafood is the exception. I lucked out my last trip and discovered this gem. SO I had to try again just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. I had the gumbo again because it was so good last time. I wanted to try the crab and corn bisque but since I had enjoyed the gumbo so much it was too hard to resist. Just like last time it was great. I mentioned to the staff I really wanted to try the crab bisque but couldn't pass up the gumbo so she brought me a sample of the bisque and oh wow ... next time I might have to have a cup of both.
