Exceptional food that is different

By JorgD |

There aren't a lot of Persian restaurants around, most seem to be Mexican these days. The food here was absolutely delicious and the spices and flavours were unusual and exceptionally good. For anyone who wants to broaden their culinary experiences, this is a must visit place.

Interestingly delicious!

By Andycastr |

We were around the corner at the Holiday Inn Express and opted to order online. The order was perfectly delivered and very good.. 2 orders of chicken kabob was more rice than the 3 of us could eat and the chicken was well seasoned and cooked to excellence. The delivery guy was very friendly. We will most likely order from them the next time we're in the area.

Great!

By Orion777 |

The prices were great, the food was great, and happy hour was great. Loved it so much that we ate here every night.

Not Bad Very Tasty

By LuvLyfe2 |

Looking for good Persian delivery? This place is not bad. I can't say it's the best in the area but it's the only good one I have found that delivers. The koobideh beef is solid and always juicy, the chicken barg is fantastic and some of the best in town. Sabszi is good. I give it 4 stars because it's hard to find consistently good Persian that delivers. Haven't tried the pizza or Italian and kind of want to think its not Hanks... So I'll stick with Persian. Merci.

Very Mediocre

By Claire |

Given the mostly very positive and even rave reviews for this restaurant, one can only assume that my experience was the exception rather than the rule. Nonetheless, I was very disappointed. I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express adjacent to the restaurant and since there is no restaurant at the hotel, Jino Pars was convenient and offered the take-out that I was looking for. I ordered the salmon with rice and soup. The entire meal was completely dry and tasteless--the salmon was bland and overcooked, the rice was completely ordinary and the soup was inedible. I ended up tossing most of the meal. An unfortunate disappointment.

Interesting place

By Amy B |

Jino's is unique. You can order Italian or Persian food. We went with Italian. The field green salad was amazing-- fresh with good anoints of dried cranberries, cheese and nuts. The pasta was cooked al dente which you don't get many places. Meat sauce was good. Pizza was tasty though a bit too much cheese for me. Would go back.

AMAZING!!!!!

By bigcdawg17 |

My wife and I shared their hummus, brushetta, house salad with salmon, and lamb ribeye and everything was cooked to perfection!!!!! I've never had better hummus or better lamb! 9.5 out of 10, with the only downfall being the lentil soup. It wasn't too tasty.

Good Meal

By william Y |

We were staying at a nearby hotel and walked to Jino’s for dinner. I had the grilled beef kabobs. It came with two and I ordered the extra. The standard order would have been plenty for me. It also came with rice. It was a very good meal. The restaurant had plenty of room and we felt very safe walking from our hotel. This was a good meal and we enjoyed our visit.

Fantastic Persian Food!

By Shireen Day |

We were overnighting near LAX between flights and wanted some good Persian food. We hit the jackpot here! The Kabab Koobideh was incredible with rice, grilled tomato and a skewer of grilled onion/green pepper. They have a very affordable wine selection too. Definitely check out Jino's Pars if you're in the area. Great service too! And although we didn't eat vegetarian, I was really impressed with the veggie options. Great idea to take Persian vegetable stews and make them without meat. I wish Jino's would come to Colorado.

Delightful and service with a flare

By Diane S |

We did not know what to expect but the variety and subtle favors were amazing.quiet atmosphere.we had lamb chicken and tofu and the sauces were all fabulous. Twice as much food as we could eat. A great meal, and we will be back even tho we live 1000 miles away!

Just simply delicious

By Randall L |

Chose this restaurant at the recommendation of the HIE hotel staff around the corner where we stayed. The rack of lamb I had was outstanding and the pasta dish was also excellent. Food was fresh and served hot. Friendly wait staff and great service.

International Fare

By AJ S |

Stopped in for dinner. Chose combo with grilled beef and chicken koobideh. Meal came with rice, lentil soup, and pita. It was great. Portions were generous. Food tastes authentic. Close to LAX. Tight parking.

Late and overpriced

By Don0945 |

Ordered for a to-go order. When arrived, had to wait 45 minutes for food. Lamb was over-cooked and bland as was the chicken. Totally overpriced.

Great food, great service, great price

By Pete F |

Happened to be passing through LAX and was looking for a good Persian food restaurant in the are. We read some positive reviews on this place so gave it s try. We were not disappointed. Good atmosphere, good service, great food, large portions and a reasonable price. Next time we are in the area we look forward to going back for more.

Good food good service

By geoff d |

Just round the corner. From the Holiday Inn and recommended by the hotel. Good range of dishes (we had pizza and spaghetti bolognese with meatballs. Both reasonably priced. Only drawback no lattes just filter coffee which was actualy very good.

Just around the corner to the right!

By CopperTravel |

We got there just before closing and the owner kindly let us order and eat. In fact, he waited after his staff all closed up and finished. The food was really good and the owner was extremely nice and friendly. It was late, we were hungry and he saved us!

Excellent for a quick bite

By Adams Dad |

Was staying just round the corner at the Holiday Inn. They recommended this place. Was pretty quiet as I was there fairly early, but the service was excellent. Food was very great. Would recommend for a quick bite if you're in the area. I would definitely visit again.

Great Persian food

By talyo |

Great persian food. Don't order Taboule or Hummus but other things are good. Excellent service, very kind waiters.

Quaint Little Restaurant

By Roberta B |

Great restaurant in the Airport area. If you are staying at the hotels for business and don’t want to venture out too far- this is your place. Delicious food, wonderful service, and cozy atmosphere. Don’t forget to try the Baklava! Super !

Expensive

By Afroza S |

I tried different items here. Most of those were good. It is unfortunate that they increased the prices recently.

Great Persian food

By Traveling_Eric8 |

I've been to this restaurant a few times. I've ordered the beef and chicken kabobs. The food has always been delicious and the portions are large. It's a slightly small restaurant, but it is very nicely decorated. It's in a small shopping center. The service has always been good and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food

By Memdjr |

If you're looking for a good Italian place to eat in LA, this is it. The food and service was excellent. Great prices too. Was here in business, and ate here twice. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent meal in a cute place

By alastairdeacon |

Wonderful Persian food. Very reasonable prices, plenty to eat, welcoming wait staff, cute, well decorated place. We are vegetarians and there was plenty on the menu to choose from and they accommodated some changes we asked for. We will be back!

Don't be Fooled by the Location!

By Caroline M |

Do not let the location fool you! This is a fantastic restaurant! We chose from the middle eastern menu and tried things we never had before. It was all very delicious and reasonably priced. I can only imagine the Italian menu was just as good. It sounds like an unlikely combination but it works!

A delicious late lunch!

By Jacque P |

Missed airline connections gave us the opportunity for a late lunch at Jino’s. Great variety and choices but we settled on chicken parmigiana and penne pasta with pesto and salmon. Both were delicious!

What a find!

By Geniet63 |

Surprising menu of Persian and Italian offerings. We stumbled on this place because we were staying at the Holiday Inn around the corner and looking for a dinner destination. It was a wonderful find! The hardest part was choosing from all of the excellent-sounding dishes. I finally decided on crab spaghetti (the special) while my husband indulged in lobster tail. Both were exceptional and the service was quick & friendly in spite of the fact that we arrived only a half hour before closing. An all-around amazing meal. I will make sure to visit again the next time I find myself staying near the airport.

Late night food

By Geoff S |

Arrived late at night and this was the only restaurant open. We both had a lasagna and it was absolutely fine. The service was good. Lacked a bit of atmosphere but perfect when you are tired and hungry after flying into LAX.

Ok food. Big portions.

By Sally W |

We went to Jino's Pars when we had a stop over in LA. The menu had a good selection - a mix of Middle Eastern and Italian. We ordered the meatball starter and a pizza which we shared between 2. The portions were large and we found sharing was plenty of food for 2 people. The meatballs were tasty. The pizza was Ok - tasty enough. We found the menu a little expensive but then again you do get a lot of food for your $. Service was good. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Great service and great food

By annapp69 |

The service at the restaurant was really good the staff were so friendly and offered advice on the various meals. Food was great.

Unique choice of good Italian and Persian cuisine

By pepeingle |

2 kitchens one for Italian food and the other for Persian. Good choice menu. Reasonably priced. Attentive and helpful service with linen tableware. Speciality of lobster tail on spaghetti with home-made tomato sauce was superb. Will return and try the Persian menu next time.

Dinner

By Sherry G |

Very good food and an extensive menu. Good wine selection and good service. We dined early but place was getting busy as we were leaving.

Happy Hour meal

By rcote75 |

I stopped in here after a long day of work for a couple glasses of wine and the meatball appetizer. The staff was so nice and let me take up a booth to relax and unwind. I would dine here again as there was so much on the menu I wish I could have tried.

Close to hotel

By ldeimos |

I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express right next to this place and my husband (who is from Israel), found this place as a quick bite to eat. The food was pretty good with a middle-eastern flair. It felt a little unsafe walking between the hotel and this place at night.

Great food but slow service

By Cindy B |

The menu was varied for Persian food and Indian food. They had sandwiches, Pizza and full entrees as well as a wine list. Prices were reasonable but the service was slow, especially considering there was only one other party .

Wonderful Persian food at reasonable prices

By David P |

We were staying in Los Angeles near LAX before flying out the next morning. This restaurant was within easy walking distance and what a delightful surprise it was. I had Cornish game hen kabob and it was truly superb. Another member of the party had shrimp kabob, also superb. For dessert we shared a rosewater gelato with pistachios: another home run. Service was friendly and prompt. This restaurant also serves Italian food but all four of us had the Persian and did not regret it. Enthusiastic recommendation from me!

Great food and service

By annapp69 |

We ate here because it was close to the hotel, from the time we entered the staff were friendly and offered advice on our food choice. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying near the Holiday Inn Express.

Best rice and kebab period!

By traveltherapy33 |

I have been coming here for years whenever I travel to LA. I came here over the weekend and had the chicken soltani plate and it was better than ever! They truly make the best rice, and their hummus and baba ghanoush is not to be missed. I recommend this place to anyone who loves good kebab and persian food. They also make exceptional italian. Their pasta pomodoro is made fresh to order and always so good. :)

First time Persian

By Rafael |

It's the first time I have Persian food. I'd give the place second chance... (maybe)I was about to walk into the Other restaurant and I think I should have. There are not many options walking distance from the Holiday Inn I'm staying at.

Unique Menu, Average Service

By mrlauber |

Staying close to LAX for an early flight, the Holiday Inn Express concierge suggested Jino's Pars just around the corner for dinner with a friend. The Persian-Italian menu included Italian favorites like lasagna, fettucini Alfredo and pizza but also lamb, pork and vegetarian delicacies from farther east. Our server proved inattentive but the food - I had a tofu, saffron rice and walnut/honey puree combination - was quite good. If you want something out of the ordinary, I recommend it.

what a find great and tasty

By Bob S |

We were staying at the holiday in getting ready for our 16 hour flight home and we found this place it was fun and the food generous and tasty

Delicious persian cuisine and great value for money

By Okay O |

When I think of dining and hospitality close to LAX airport, I usually think truck loads of people, conveyor belt service and BIG plates of unhealthy food. Unless you pay a fortune in the more exclusive places of course. So when we stumbled upon this restaurant right around the corner from our airport hotel (holiday inn express) we couldn't believe our luck. My dad is Iranian (and a fantastic cook) so I know and have tried most of the dishes on the menu. The waiter was kind, helpful and his recommendations were spot on. The owner/manager came over and asked if everything was ok and had a genuine good vibe about him. Like when you know what you are offering is excellent, you can relax and enjoy your place, your staff and your guests. I like that. The price was great too. Around 50 bucks for a family of four and were so full we took about 25% of it to the hotel. Next time we come to LA we will definitely come back!

Nice change of pace

By Jay S |

Delicious kabobs & nice service. Fairly pricey, but reasonable. This restaurant is right behind the Holiday Inn Express that’s near LAX.

Best Persian food

By Capt75 |

Food cooked fresh after order made. Lamb shank serve with rice. Really makes those who craving for Persians food to come again.

Not a lot of choices in the area

By David W |

It was late and we were tired from travel. Food was OK. Service a little slow. Owner or manager came by and asked how we were doing that was a nice touch.

Popped in for a quick bite and a cold beer after long-haul into LAX.

By Safariholic |

and since we were staying round the corner at Holiday Inn Express, this place was so convenient. 1 x Calamari, 1 x Greek Salad and a couple of beers and we ready to hit the sack. Done. We were not seeking haut-cuisine and this was more the 'order-of-the-day'. Plain and simple, Cheap and cheerful. Job done. 'Average' seems a tad harsh having said all that, but somehow 'fair' too. Its not trying to be anything 'special' and it works.

Best Persian food I have ever had

By Amir Ramezanzad... M |

I have tried numerous Persian restaurants across the US and this one had the best food among all. Eversince I discovered this restaurant, I go there for every meal that I can whenever I come to LA. I am usually too busy to write reviews for a restaurant. But This restaurant and Fiesta Azteca in Melbourne, FL, where the two restaurants that impressed me so much with their food that I had to write a review. The Lamb shank and Lamb koobideh are my most favorite ones.

Great Persian food near LAX

By Jed B |

Order from the Persian side of the menu. Started with Humus and then Fesenjan(a rice and chicken dish). Comes with a nice chopped Persian salad. Excellent California wines at a reasonable price. Good food, nice service, not expensive.

Good Persian Cuisine - Large portions

By Jerry J |

We had two Lamb Kabob dishes that were quite tasty with large portions accompanied by delicious rice, preceded by a delicious soup. Service was fine. House wine could use a little upgrading, but a very satisfactory meal.

Simply the Best Italian

By Nathalie L |

Suggested by our hotel HIE, we did not expect much but we were very pleased with this choice. Food, wine and service was excellent.

Good Persian Food

By BigIsleFoodie |

When I visited Iran years ago, I ate chelo kabob two times a day--in other words, I like Persian food and rice. First, I found Jino's Pars near LAX by accident. The outside sign is confusing because there are separate signs for Jino's Italian and Jino's Pars. There is only one restaurant. Second, I ignored the Italian offerings and orderer the braised lamb shank and sour cherry rice. The lamb was delicious; the rice was not as dry as the traditional dish but was still tasty. Third, prices are very reasonable. Try it; you'll like it.

Most Amazing Food I Have Ever Had!!!

By Amber E |

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn on our honeymoon before we took a cruise. The hotel front desk recommended this restaurant around the corner so we decided to walk over and try it out. This was hands down the best food and strangest food combination. I had the lamb kabob and my husband had the filet minion kabob. They were reasonably priced and absolutely amazing! We ended up ordering a Margarita Pizza the next day for lunch and then when we got off the cruise ship we stopped on the way to the airport and got take out. I still dream about this place and would recommend it to anybody!

Great Persian food

By Fa T |

We ordered lamb kebob which is also known as chenje in persian food which was great. Will go there if I visit again

Late but Great

By Walter241 |

The place was referred by our hotel. We arrived late, just about as they were to close. We were accepted with a smile and served the same way. There was no feeling of being rushed or that we were a bother to them. The food was also fresh, hot and very well served. Our regret was that we arrived too late to enjoy it more.

A LITTLE GEM NEAR LAX AND HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS

By idemandthebest |

Shuttle driver recommended this place and it proved an excellent and convent choice. We arrived at LAX late and stayed near airport and ate Persian food here. Excellent wait staff and food. Leaving on the back end of trip early, we stayed again at the Holiday Inn Express and at at Jino's Pars. You can't go wrong with the chicken shish kabob and the chocolate mousse cake was great too. The entity does Italian also but we're from midwest, so we opted for Persian both nights! The kabob was $17 and spouse and I shared with room for dessert! Plenty of food.

Great Pizza

By arpitmcs |

Was staying at the holiday inn next door and this pizza place is really great. Had a vegetarian pizza and the service guy was quick to accommodate any special preferences of vegetarians and tomato ketchup. Will come here again.

Excellent, really big portions

By AliciaMagdalena |

I have been to this place 2 times and have not been able to eat all the food in the plate. It's really good food, with the right touches of Middle Eastern flavor. I have tried 2 of the lunch meals and both times have enjoyed it immensely. Both time I had dishes with chicken and it was really good and cooked to perfection. They also serve Italian food, so there's something for all tastes!

Great Meal!

By Cheryl K |

Who would have thought that tucked away in a strip mall on Manchester would there be this culinary gem. I'm usually not a fan of Persian cuisine but I may be now. The food was excellent, great atmosphere and I will make the drive to go here again!

Delicious food and great service!

By Shiba-222 |

We stopped by on our way to LAX and had a great dinner. Their Sour cherry rice is so good! The Kebabs were tender and flavorful. Hope to come back soon!

Excellent Persian Food

By grandpere |

We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express LAX right around the corner from this restaurant. When the person with our car was delayed, we decided to try it. We were glad that we did. It is an unusual two-restaurants-in-one. There is the Persian food, but it is also Juno's Pizza. The menu is two sided with one side for each style. We only tried the Persian, which was excellent. We had the hummus and babaganoush with pita, both of which were very nice. For first course, one of us had the lentil soup and the other had the Persian salad (diced cucumber, tomato, and onion in a lemon and oil dressing--very refreshing). We had two dishes, but forgive my inability to remember the Persian names. One dish was a vegetarian dish based on spinach over basmati rich; the other was a ground meat kabob also with basmati rice. The rice was some of the best I have ever had. Overall, the restaurant was clean and the food excellent. And they had beer--very important.

Great value, Good food

By masspjm |

Interesting concept of having a 2 sided menu, Iranian and Italian. Relaxed and clean atmosphere with a friendly server. Food was good and worth the visit.

A surprise gem

By macpatg |

We checked into the holiday inn express lax as a between flights stopover and asked about nearby restaurants. We were given two; Sizzler and Jino's Pars which was described as Italian/Persian. That was intriguing enough for us to try it. The restaurant is sandwiched in with a barber shop and nail parlor. Walking in through the wrought iron gate, we found a pleasant restaurant (tablecloths, cloth napkins, etc). We opted for the Persian side of the menu. My wife had lamb kebab, I had chicken barg. We both had shirazi salad, I replaced the basmati rice with dinner salad. The shirazi was excellent. The dinner salad was not quite enough for three . . . But I was only one. My wife's rice was quite enough for four and each entree was more than adequate. The flavors were excellent. The wine list was very brief, but we found the unknown Viogner and Cabernet qute good. The dessert list looked delicious, but we had no space even leaving food on our plates. Prices were moderate.

Awesome food, amazing service!

By Tasha66 |

My husband and I stopped in for a couple of sandwiches and were blown away by the food and the service. We both ordered sandwiches (turkey and chicken) and split the sides that came with the order--yummy fries and a very tasty Caesar salad. I can't say enough about the food! The sandwiches were huge and the bread was crusty on the outside and fresh and soft inside. I didn't think I could eat the whole thing but once I started I could not stop. Sean was an incredible waiter and the owner (I think) came by to confirm that all was good. The interior space is beautiful and well maintained. Don't miss out on this gem of a place! You will not be disappointed!

Salmon Kabobs and Cornish Hens!

By SweetnDandy |

The Persian food is always great here, but the recent remodel has created a bit of a stuffy atmosphere. This place lacks an identity, but the food is pretty consistent. The flavor of the hens is very unique and the portions huge. The prices are great and the location close to LAX.

Delicious persian food

By Felicia |

This restaurant is a hybrid--italian food on one side of the menu, persian on the other. I only tried the Persian, and it was great. My in-laws are Iranian and make the best Persian food I've ever eaten, so I'm always comparing it to theirs. The walnut-pomegranite stew was really really good, and I appreciated the marinated tofu that was in the vegetarian version of the dish. The cherry rice (Albaloo Polow) was good, though just a big too sweet. I also had the yogurt with cucumbers, which was good, and though that the shirazi salad was a little on the sour side--too much lemon. The atmosphere was very cozy, service was good, and it wasn't too crowded. It is located very near the airport, so if you are stuck at an airport hotel and want to get out of the hotel for some good food, this is an excellent option!

What a great meal!

By kmakrush |

I was looking for a place to eat while staying at the Holiday Inn Express at LAX. It's only around the corner from the hotel. This place is amazing! One side of the menu is Italian. The other side is Persian. The hummus, chicken and lamb koobideh is to die for! You gotta try this place. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Beef Kabob is fantastic. Hummus is also a treat.

By catndog |

I've been going to this place for more than 20 years now and it's still great. Beef Kabobs are super and surprisingly the Italian food is excellent also. Don't let the mix of Persian & Italian food fool you. This place has mastered both. I'm from Chicago so I know good pasta sauce and they match the best in Chicago. YUM !

Tasty Persian food

By diane_chehab |

It had been years since I ate home-made Persian food. I was anticipating the tahdig (crispy rice crust) along with the stews. The crust was good, but a little hard to chew. Stews were tasty. The chicken was a little dry, but the beef was excellent, very tender and juicy. Chopped salad was very good and refreshing, also. I don't know since when Persians feel the need to add (Lebanese) hommos and tabbouleh to their menu. Both were not good, when you know what the real thing is supposed to taste like! No lemon in the hommos, and Middle Eastern couscous in the (dry) tabbouleh instead of burghul. I would request to swap instead with an additional portion of yoghurt, which was nicely flavored.

Great Pizza for takeout

By Yellow V |

We stayed in a hotel around the corner from this place and ordered a large takeout pepperoni pizza. The price was good, the pizza was great, the location was close. The do have a sit down restaurant as well which we did not realize until we got there to pick up our pizza, so if that is more your style they can do that too.

Best lasagna I have ever eaten!

By Debbie F |

Loved this place. They have a Mediterranean menu and an Italian menu. My husband hates garlic so this was perfect. I had the best lasagna I've ever eaten in my life. Bob had a filet and rice with sumac seasoning. Perfect since he is gluten-free! The service was phenomenal. If you are in LA it is definitely worth the stop.

By far--our favorite Persian

By Prestoni |

Odd combination to have an Italian menu along with a Persian menu but it works. I love the lentil soup and the Fesenjan is outstanding and my favorite. The service has always been excellent and I always eat there when I arrive in LA and the night before flying out. Tomorrow I head to LA and will be staying near the airport. Can you guess where I will eat tomorrow night?

Wow!! The food here is excellent!

By dwiesler |

Wow!! The food here is excellent! I had never had Persian food before so I asked the server for some recommendations. I ended up choosing the hummus appetizer, a filet mignon barg skewer which was well seasoned and cooked perfectly medium and it came with a delicious tomato and cucumber salad and saffron rice. I also ordered two desserts: baklava and a chocolate/raspberry gelato ball. OMG everything was soooooo good!

Very Good Persian Food & Service near LAX

By MarcoPro2050 |

Jino's Pars offers well prepared, well presented and delicious Persian food. Professional waiters are attentive and accommodating. Prices are fair for LA but on the higher side for near LAX which is the only reason why I rated the restaurant 4 instead of 5 stars.

Heavenly lamb shank

By Richard L |

My wife has been a customer for years, and since I moved to LA we have ordered many times....but last night I had your Zereshk Polo with braised lamb shank, and I did a happy dance. That lamb shank was incredible!...tender...excellent flavor and excellent ingredients...braised to falling-off-the-bone perfection. The basmati rice with saffron made a perfect companion, and the lentil soup sent along as part of the meal was wonderful! Hat's off to the chef!!

Best Pizza Ever!

By wandrincruzers |

We wanted something to eat on our first night in California and walked around from Holiday Inn Express (we had read the ad on the wall outside our window). We were able to choose exactly the toppings we wanted and, even tho we were having take-out, were invited to sit down at one of the tables to wait. When we got back to the hotel we found this to be the BEST Pizza we have ever had ...... anywhere!! We were disappointed, on our return to the same hotel 3 weeks later, that Jino's was closed for July 4th! Never mind, we shall return next time we are in LA!!

Don't eat at LAX ever. Eat at Jino's. So close to LAX with real food, the best.

By elizabethlascheid |

Located near the airport (LAX) Jino's is on Manchester. Easy to miss so keep an eye out. It is a wonderful Persian/Italian eatery. Personally, I had never heard of such a combination, but all their food is great. Right now they are open and you can dine outdoors and they use all safety protocols. The service is the best, so fast and friendly. There is usually not a wait. Their prices are reasonable and you will love it all. You can have catering if you want for a party or get large packages to go. Of course you can order your food to go or pick up, but if you can, eat there. You will feel so relaxed. They have the best rice and lamb plates you will have outside of Iran. Their shrimp and chicken is so tender and cooked perfectly. The spices are spot on. Don't ever eat at LAX, it is awful, stop here and you won't be trapped by terrible food. If you are leaving LAX, run here, make no stop at those eateries at LAX. Here you will be happy. Have the best time.

Not Reza’s but close!

By A_Ratcliffe |

Chose this place due to proximity to our hotel. Just got lucky to choose this place. Had a wonderful time here. The combination of Italian and Persian food was perfect for my wife and I. The Tadig with stew was perfect and my lamb dish was delicious. Vegetarian pizza for my wife.

Very nice restaurant

By Marsha857 |

This restaurant offered excellent italian food at a reasonable price. We found the owner and wait staff to be very kind.

More at dinner

By Betsy F |

The restaurant was attractive and very clean. The menu was an interesting mix of middle eastern and Italian food. Prices were very reasonable and the meals were excellent.

Great find in obscure location!

By Gloria S |

We came here before a concert at the Forum looking for something close and convenient to the hotel we were staying at. What a wonderful find in an obscure strip mall! The food was delicious and the service attentive without being overbearing. Besides the quality of the food, the interior with tablecloths, etc. was very nice. We both had lamb shank with different rice sides. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth delicious with little extraneous fat. I look forward to coming here again when we're in the area.

Love, love, love!

By mtngrl76 |

Amazing Persian and Italian. My family ate from the Italian side of the menu and loved it. I had the Barb Kabob from the Persian side and it was great. My favorite part of the night was the rose water pistachio gelato!

Amazing Restaurant.............

By James E |

I was traveling with a group of 14 co-workers on business in California this spring. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and decided to walk around the corner to check out a couple of restaurants. We decided to give this restaurant a try. The food was very reasonably priced...........in fact there was so much 2-3 people could have feasted off of one meal. We had way too much food left over. The service was fantastic. The food was amazing!! One of the best meals we had during our week in California and by far the most reasonably priced meal. I would highly recommended this place to anyone looking for good Persian food, very reasonably priced, great service and nice atmosphere.

You won't go hungry

By Kevin G |

Really nice atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and huge portion of reasonably priced delicious food - who could ask for more? It is just around the corner from the Holiday Inn Express LAX which is an excellent place to say after you've come off a flight.

Great food and wine. Authentic with great service!

By BorisMurchant |

Staying at nearby hotel they recommended I walk here. Food was absolutely wonderful (Persian and Italian). Had Spaghetti Pomodoro with Salmon which was excellent! I would return!

delish!

By stephanieptx |

After driving for 12 hours we checked in next door(holiday inn) we were starving! The food was amazing!

Did I eat at the same place as the other reviewers?

By NTC214 |

Ordered delivery last night through GrubHub and had the Chicken Barg and Mast o kihar. While they do give you a lot of food, my chicken was flavorless and the rice was ok (I don't think you can mess up rice). I will say the mast was good and they gave me a whole pack of pita bread. Maybe I caught them on a bad night? I don't know but what I do know is that I won't give it another shot.

Fantastic Food

The food is fantastic, the selection great and the owner somebody who actually cares. Better yet, they deliver to any of the airport hotels. Definitely worth it - they deliver better quality and variety than your average room service menu and even faster than the 45 minute wait for room service.

A Persian/Italian/American Treat!

By KayTee9 |

We were staying at a hotel on the same block, so we walked over to Jino's Pars Restaurant and thought we'd give it a try. It was an intriguing place: nice quiet atmosphere, fresh tablecloths, attentive service. The menu looked like a combination of Persian/Italian/American foods. It was hard to figure out what we should order; there were so many interesting choices. I was in the mood for a pizza, so I gave their Pizza Supreme a whirl. It was a bit different from what I was used to, but still very good. It had a very thin crust, lots of oil (olive oil?) and tons of veggies along with the pepperoni and sausage. My husband ordered a hamburger sandwich. It was not your usual American hamburger on a roll. It was sort of a hamburger semi submarine sandwich, with somewhat of a Persian flavor due to the herbs and spices in it. He said it was very good, although not hamburger fixed the same old way he was used to (American-style). We also tried the lentil soup. That was delicious: it was served in a light, fragrant broth with some interesting herbs which gave it a subtly different taste. Loved it. Jino's Pars serves three different kinds of food underlaid with a subtle Persian touch, except for the Persian food, which is the real deal. A very good restaurant, and definitely worth checking out. An eating adventure for those of us who have never tried food with a Persian influence.

Good Food and Excellent Service

By soxfanPaxton |

The concierge at our hotel suggested this restaurant as it was just around the corner and it was a good suggestion. One of us had Shish Kabob and the other had lamb. There was half a plate of basmati rice and the meal included a shirazi salad which was new to us but very delicious. Both meals were very good. After traveling it was nice to just sit in a quiet restaurant and enjoy a good meal.

Not too bad - hit the spot for dinner while staying at the Holiday Inn Express

By CodyDC |

I was staying overnight at the Holiday Inn Express for a morning flight out of LAX. I was looking for somewhere close by to eat dinner, I was driving around the area and nothing really looked interesting. While back at the hotel, I noticed this restaurant and then looked at the reviews which seemed good. So decided to give it a try. The chicken kabob was juicy and good. I glad I picked this place while staying at the hotel next door.

Delicious food, nice service

By Saphir |

The food is delicious, the portions are large and the service was friendly but limited parking. I ordered the Ghorma Sabzi which was full of flavors.

Best food ever

By DebiBye |

We sent the night in LA on our trip from Ecuador back to Alaska. We selected a late afternoon flight so we could rest up after the previous day's flights. The hotel we stayed in just happened to be around the corner from this place. A clerk turned us onto it. It was just what we needed, good Persian food and service with an exceptional glass of wine to go with. I got on that plane happier and satisfied. I would go here again and even drive across LA to make that happen.

Excellent Dinner

By Seaside555012 |

Excellent Persian food, large portions. Service is also very good. Haven't had such a good Persian food at any restaurant. A restaurant you should not miss in you are near LAX airport.

The most amazing food. Love the servers and of course chef Omar is the best in town, super relaxing ambiance with classical music, white tablecloths and superv wine list. I come here at least one a week. Love love it

Check Your Receipts - they will not help you if over charged

By Tony M |

Was charged twice for pick up order.. once by EAT24 and then in person with a second card... when trying to explain the situation to the Manager Max, to maybe find advice on how to correct it or just take a second order... he rudely explained that this isn't a "used car lot" and that he's "not just going to drop his pants". FOR $28???? Told us to not "waste his time and call EAT24" ... we had ordered and paid through EAT24 and received that food.. we have now been charged by Jino's with no food and I'm being told "that's impossible" even with it on my bank account showing Jino's Pars... customer service could be better. Coming back with a bank statement to see what happens... Went back with proof.. Max says he already spoke to us and doesn't have time...had his "accountant" dressed as a waitress tell us she could take our name down and look into it LoL... Place looks good and the food was great. Just watch your receipts

great pizza near the airport

By Gogi365 |

Ordered pizza from here when staying at the Holiday Inn Express at the airport. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looks lovely with the white table cloth and ambient lighting. We asked for napkins, plates and forks and received many more than we needed. The staff was really nice as well.

Interesting

By Sam S |

I found this restaurant very interesting I needed to find a place close to LAX so I could meet up with a few people and drop off a family member. We stumbled on this restaurant because of TripAdvisor it had a nice mix Persian food and Italian food appetizers were good and I really enjoyed the kabab soltani plate I will definitely have to come by again.

Jino's Pars

By traveloehrs |

We stayed at the holiday inn express for a layover and chose to eat here instead of the terrible Sizzler option. It was a great surprise. The outside doesn't look like much but the inside is nice and the Persian food was solid.

Very disappointed.

By Joethecritique |

I was very disappointed in the quality of food and service. I have been going to Gino's Pars for a few years. The food has always been very good. This has been my go-to place outside of Westwood for Persian food. This changed today. Service started good but faded fast. Empty plates remained on the table until the end. When I mentioned that the food was not good, our waiter walked away with a smirk. I had to go to owner to ask for the check. My "koreshte bademjan" was disgusting. It was a pile of canned stewed tomatoes with eggplants on top of them. As an Iranian, I am embarrassed that someone would serve this as Persian food. I will not go back.

Excellent Food and Prices

By burquha |

This is a wonderful restaurant! It serves Persian and New American Cuisine. The food is excellent and the prices are great. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and the wines that they serve. The service was quick. I ate there twice and they remembered my drink order on my second visit! The Holiday Inn Express Staff recommended it and I was so glad they did. It is located around the corner of the hotel and I actually walked to it. I will be returning to this restaurant on my next visit to LA.

Excellent surprise

By antieverything1 |

Waiting for a flight out of LAX, we accidentally found abPersian/Italian restaurant in a strip shopping center off airport rd. From the outside, we were not certain what to expect, but what a beautiful interior! Unfamiliar with Persian cuisine, the staff guided us to two wonderful meals.

Excellant Lamb!

By smokeyellow |

This is a very difficult restaurant to get parking! It is close to LAX which makes it worth it. Had the Lamb Shish Kabob with rib meat, rice, hummus , Pita and grilled veggies. The meat was the best. It was $28 but worth every penny and we shared it. Put up with the parking it's worth it!

Fresh and succulent shrimps

By Toops_and_Bob |

This experience was so good it made up for the disappointments were encountered since leaving the plane - long queues for immigration, long queues for customs and an unacceptably long wait for the Hotel Shuttle. Max the manager can only be described as 'outward going', was brilliant and funny creating an evening we won't forget for a while - and the food was excellent. Cuisine is advertised as Italian and Persian, but there's some Greek on the Persian menu and American on the Italian!! My BLT burger was one of the best I have tasted with good serving of nice chips, salad and all the trimmings. My wife ordered shrimps with pesto and garlic - shrimps weren't the size we expect in the UK, more like lobster, and they were so succulent and fresh. We didn't tell anyone it was our wedding anniversary, so we can only rate 'romance and special occasion' subjectively but the whole atmosphere was special, and Max even presented us with a tub of Persian Spices to take away.

Best Persian food I have had in a long time

By PhoenisSunDog |

The Holiday Inn Express recommended this and it is around the corner( they offer delivery to the rooms too). The price were reasonable and the food was great. Large portions. If you like spicy, I recommend the chicken koobideh. So good. Wish I could have taken left overs home. Service was great (Peter). Would definitely go here again.

Doesn't look like much but....

By Cynthia S |

The food is great. Sort of a strange combination, Italian and Persian, but it was all Very Good and reasonably priced. They even deliver to the Holiday Inn around the corner. We tried the Italian side of the menu but if we are ever in the area again we will get brave (for us) and try the Persian. It smelled great.

Great dinner tonight

By JaneHopson |

We love Persian cuisine but do not have many opportunities to enjoy. This restaurant is quite authentic. My husband loved the appetizer platter that had a combination of 3 very tyical middle eastern pre-entre items that we continued to enjoy with our entree. Nice hot pita bread was served! All wasdelicious. We got the combo lamb platter - only need 1 for 2 adults - that had a large platter of rice in addition to 2 varities of grilled lamb kebobs with a grilled tomato. Also had a very reasonable priced bottle of nice white wine that was perfect with our entree!! We will return when we come back to LA.

Great little gem

By MSP-Mike |

Ate here several times while staying next door at the HIE. Tried the kabobs one night and pizza the other. Food was great and service was as well. Prices were a little high, but not terrible. The owner made his rounds always checking in which was nice.

REAL TASTE

By LEVENT S |

Pars is a real Iran restaurant. There is a calm atmoshpere. The owner is interested in customers. The meals are very delicious. The price is reasonable. The parking place isn' problem. The personnel is always helpful.

A nice find!

By Takarehi |

Like others reviewing this restaurant we were staying at the Holiday Inn Express arouund the corner. A staff person from the hotel recommended that we try Jino Pars. We found a unique mix of Italian and Persian foods...the food was delicious! The service was quick AND they gave us discount on our bill for being from the hotel. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely eat at Pars.

Best Persian in USA

By catndog |

Try the Beef Kabobs, with Shirazi salad and lentil soup. You will be hooked like me. Now for +15 years. If you have a taste for Italian, try their Cheese Ravioli and the little bread rolls. The sauce is excellent. Seems strange Italian and Persian, but the food is really good.

Awesome Lamb

By Madhawk |

Great lamb! I happened to be staying near this restaurant and was looking for something nice. The neighborhood is okay but this place is a gem. It's hidden in a little strip mall, but it is a very classy place. Great ambiance, great staff and outstanding food. It's a bit interesting as it is both an Italian place as well as a Persian restaurant. I would definitely stop here again and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Close to LAX and rental car locations

By Jeffrey E |

Ate here because it is close to the Hertz LAX location and my daughter was hungry after a long flight. Terrific lamb and chicken dishes over rice on the Perisan menu. My daughter had the pasta and said it was very good. Restaurant was clean and service was friendly and attentive.

Very enjoyable

By SPLatManOz |

We dined here twice, as it's right around the corner from our hotel, Holiday In Express. The food was delicious and the service friendly and professional. We especially enjoyed the Fesenjan - Fresh walnuts toasted then ground and simmered with pomegranate molasses. Served with sauteed chicken breast. Absolutely delicious! When we get home to Australia I will be trying to find a Persian restaurant near us.

Great food and very nice service

By CHARLES M |

I had dinner at Jino's Pars last night before my flight tonight to Sydney Australia. I had a skewer of lamb and saffron rice. It was excellent! The portions were generous and the waiter was polite and attentive. I met Sam, the proprietor, in which it became clear that he was proud of his restaurant and kept a close eye on the details that differentiate its excellent service and fine food from other ethnic restaurants. The middle eastern food was delicately flavored as in the best restaurants in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. I am very thankful that the folks at he Holiday Inn Express (around the corner from the restaurant) recommended Sam's fine restaurant.

Great Kebabs

By redwrangler |

We had a very nice lunch at Pars - chicken kebabs and salad. Service was pleasant and relaxed. The restaurant is very clean and the food was delicious.

GREAT FOOD!

By Arthur C |

My son and I met at the Holiday Inn Express to fly out the next day to Tinian! The concierge advised us of a great Persian restaurant just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant is called Jino's Pars. A fantastic experience. We both got the "whole marinated Cornish hen Kabob. There is an extensive menu. With the Cornish hen was great long grain rice, roasted tomato and more! Before the main course was a Persian salad which was very tasty. We also had Hummus, which was the best I've ever had. We took a lot back to the hotel for a snack later. TRY IT!!!

Always good

By Prestoni |

We have stopped here when we arrive in LA as it is near the airport. We can always count on a good Italian or Persian meal. The hummus is good but it use to have a yellow hue to it and tasted a little different...still good. I usually have the Persian dish Fezejan...with walnut puree and pomegranate. My wife had meatballs this time...good as usual. Service always welcoming and friendly.

A Lovely Persian Restaurant

By jaseaton |

This place was right around the corner from our hotel. The Persian menu was quite a bit more varied than the usual suspects at other Persian restaurants. I ordered the Chicken Mesenjan, chicken with pomegranates and crushed walnuts: it came on a mountain of rice, but the sauce was a little sweet without being cloying. Nice atmosphere and tolerable noise level. All of us were happy.

Best Lamb Koobideh world around

By Aharon D |

We keep visiting this excellent Persian restaurant whenever we are in the LAX neighborhood. Never disappointed, Best lamb Koobidea world around, and even the innocent looking basic Hummus and the Eggplants appetizers are first class. It is a culinary celebration for my vegetarian wife. Friendly atmosphere (the owner has a wonderful sense of humor), excellent food, tasty and inexpensive. Thanks to Holiday Inn Express for recommending Jino's. Do not miss!

Lots of selection.

By KateC555 |

Ate there twice. Once for dinner and the next day for lunch. Did not enjoy the selection that we chose for dinner from the Persian side of the menu. The next day we all had Italian food from the other side of the menu and it was excellent and enjoyed by everyone. There was six of us in the group.

👌🏻👌🏻

By Noura A |

Great food great place as well The service was so good We were group of 8 and all of us enjoyed our meal Definitely recommend it 👌🏻

A place to discover

By MAF-M_France |

The restaurant is a hidden gem, if you do not know it, you would probably just pass by. The service is exeptional, the food great and the portions huge. We took a starter of eggplant borani - very good and then two mains. We could have ordered a bit less, but it is worth to try.

Crazy combination; Italian and Persian- Schizophrenic concept

By Frank M |

Super convenient for me just around the corner from the Holiday Inn Express on Airport Boulevard. They have 2 menus. Italian - pizzas etc. and Persian. Go figure. Had to try something Persian. Rack of lamb main was a substantial portion of well-grilled chops - somewhat seasoned with an equally generous quantity of basmati rice. Comes with choice of salad or soup. The latter contained beans and pearl barley. Interesting. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy but you'll get a good meal here.

Nice oriental food

By Ovidiu D |

Worth visiting, try the mix of hummus tabouleh and salad. Beef and chicken kebabs are also nice. Fast service, reasonably priced

Best around!

By Brian J |

I was given a flyer for this restaurant at the Holiday inn express at LA X. my wife ordered the Chicken Kabobs and I ordered The Koobideh Kabobs. This is the best either of us have eaten in a very long time! The Koobideh was tender, cooked to perfection. My wife loved her chicken! The Hummus this restaurant prepares is amazing! Creamy with the right amount of everything. This is what Persian food is supposed to taste like! Thank yo u so much and if I ever get within 100 miles of this restaurants front step I will be back in. A total 5 star meal!

Great food and location near LAX

By PtLomafoodie |

This Persian restaurant is near the LAX AIRPORT & HOTELS. I had the lunch entree of skewered chicken that was flavorful, moist & tender. The rice was called Albaloo polo. The “sour Cherries” in the rice dish are cooked and actually sweet. ($17) The Shirazi salad was finely diced tomato, cucumber and red onion, with a refreshing dried oregano, mint & lemon juice dressing. My husband had the dinner size entree of steak and rice with a side salad. He said it was fantastic. ($29) I would eat here again!
