The customer service is not good.

By RobS |

I ordered a square of lasgna, The employee didnt greet me ^ she did not thank me ^ and she did not ask if I wanted any thing else,. THIS PERSON SHOULD BE TRAINED OR RELEASED. She sucks. The entire deli staff does a great job of ignoring their customers. I heard new good help is hard to find,This place is proof of that//

We are regulars

By Michael P |

We are “regulars.” We get our bread here and I think that’s their strongest product. The breads are consistently among the best in the area. The coffee is also very good. Staff is happy to wrap the cookies for the kids and the baskets they make are very good. It’s expensive but we keep going bc of the quality. Our go to.

GREAT LUNCH SPOT

Great Once Again

By Robert G |

If you are looking for fresh bakery, great coffee, great prepared foods, a nice market and very nice people, Joanna's Market is your place. The bakery is fantastic. Today we had guests for brunch. We had Croissant, Ruggalah pastries and danish....all excellent. Reasonable price and friendly helpful service make for an excellent experience. We will be back for eat at the market or take home.

Family Owned, Consistent Quality, Family Owned

My family and friends have been coming to Joanna's for at least 15 years. This is truly a local gem of a place. The bakery items are exquisite and made with the finest ingredients. The pear and fruit tarts are my personal favorites, the flavors are outstanding. The prepared foods are really great too. They offer daily specials and have a variety of sides and entrees to please every palate. You can eat your food there or take it home for a gourmet dinner. This is truly a great place: from the variety of coffees, the pastries, deli, knowledgable staff in a convenient location. I forgot to mention they also offer catering for your special events.

A Staple of our Weekend

By Michael P |

We often get our bread and any baked goods we should probably stay away from here. It’s expensive but the quality is always terrific. I think their breads are their best but the cookies and other stuff also terrific. If you need to send food to sick friend etc they do an excellent job. Again, it costs.

Mikeya Savec the Day!!!!!

By Esther I |

We called in Saturday before holiday and the lady on the phone Said no telephone orders , when I asked about the soups she said (I regret not getting her name) Lentil and Chicken vegetable with Matzo. I asked are soups ready This early (9 am) she said yes. To make a long story short, I was able to Get the sandwiches but had to wait one hour for the soups as they usually Are ready at 10 am. Matzo ball finished unless u ordered before. Mikeya took care of me and I guess spoke to a supervisor and found me Two Matzo balls for my sister in law, by the way recuperating From Pancreatic cancer. So u see Miyeka saved the day for me. Thank you again.

Casual and Convenient Deli Marketplace

By KriticL |

A great neighborhood deli market to get all your yummy stuff on-the-go or while you sit outside. Enjoy delicious gourmet sandwiches, made of chicken, beef, pork or fish. Pair if with a delicious salad or a bag of chips. Don't forget to try the fresh off the oven breads and croissants, coffee and all kinds of sweat treats.

Feels like home

Just check the coffee cups, like the ones at home. A special place in Miami with a huge variety and great quality. I love the cakes and their daily specials.

Interesting Deli/Market/Coffee Shop/Local Hangout

By David B |

First time my SO and I discovered this little gem of a place. If in the area, worth the time to check it out as it has a lot of stuff for foodies. We had coffee there waiting for an optometrist appointment, but were tempted by all the variety of foodstuff there.

Super Market and take out or eat in foods

By miamoma |

This is a small grocery store that has pre prepared foods, deli, bakery & sandwiches. Home made breads and wines also. They do catering as well. We ate lunch there and I found it a bit over priced for the food. Be prepared to spend 12 dollars for a sandwich not filled with meats as other Deli's.

Platter for Shiva

Average

This deli/gourmet food market is OK for takeout. There is limited seating at tables if you want to eat there. Food is adequate. I had an experience where the sign indicating price in the refrigerated case was incorrect; $ 2.00/lb lower than the computer price. The price in the computer is the one that was used so the case sign price is only a suggestion. Good selection of gourmet grocery items. Nice selections of coffee at the coffee counter.

YUMMY

We order from Joanna's at the office each year for our Thanksgiving lunch. The quality is amazing. They are so nice and always willing to help and cater to our needs. Cant wait till Thanksgiving!!!

Long time family favorite.

For close to 20 years we have ordered their catered meals for most Mother Days and birthdays. They do an excellent job preparing my orders to meet my specific requests. In-store their quiches are excellent, the goat cheese and sun dried tomato gratin is superb as are their dumplings. I no longer make my own potato salad - get it there and doctor it up with my own finishing touches. You never know I did not make it from scratch. Love the whitefish and chopped liver. They have a very good selection of salads and freshly made sandwiches. Great coffee and pastries. Their cakes and cookies are very attractive. Great Key Lime pie. It is my go to place if I don't have time to prep for dinner guests. Or if I am out running errands and I want a "homemade style" sandwich.

Delightful staff

By mwooduk |

I came here for the first time today to get coffee after a physical therapy appointment. The staff was so nice and there were many people enjoying coffee, baked goods and sandwiches and salads outside at the tables. I did not see any tables to eat inside. Wonderful array of goods, the baked goods look fantastic as did the salads and the prepared foods. Highly recommended and great to support a local business!

Gourmet food with take-away convenience

By Julia G |

Joanna's Marketplace is a little gourmet deli where you can order custom-made salads, sandwiches, daily hot specials and good strong espresso coffees and pastries. The quality and choice is excellent, the staff friendly, and there are tables both inside and outside where you can enjoy your lunch!

Always Good!

I often stop by this deli type of cafe. They always have the best sandwiches and also offer great warm dishes along with awesome pastries and assorted baked goods. The catering is also top notch. My favorite is the pear tart with dark chocolate at the bottom!

Fantastic experience!

By Pineapples-a-Plenty |

An excellent option when you need a really great bakery. Lots of options, all fresh, and delicious. They have all the standards, and much more. High quality, and a vast menu. A large variety of sweets, too. And superb coffee, as well. You can "grab & go" or enjoy their limited seating area. The service is terrific. This morning, Larry, the manager, opened up early (5:45 AM) when he saw me park the car. He just made a customer for life! We have visited infrequently, but after today's experience, we will be regulars!

Place is awesome!

By rooksturner |

Awesome spot to grab a bite, to go, or eat in. Fantastic prepared foods, baked goods, and sandwiches etc. They can get busy sometimes so be patient, but that's to be expected for a place where everybody wants to get lunch at:)

Joanna's

Joanne's is well known for the quality of their products. I really never ate there, but I love the muesli sticks.

Morning has broken, delicious has spoken

The title is written on one of the walls at Joana's and it fully encompasses what you can find there. Last week, we bumped into this Deli looking for a place for breakfast, and ended going there two days in a row. A nice, clean, and familiar place with amazing delis, breath taking sandwiches, and a service you definitely miss in other places. For my next trip to Miami, even if we stay in South Beach we will be there for breakfast, and try more things as salads, pastas, and other pastries that looked very tempting. Sure it will be a very good choice buying to-go and later enjoy at the hotel. To Joana's staff, many thanks for allowing us to discover this place... All the best and Merry 'Xmas and a Happy New Year, Carlos

Love their breads, pastries, and baked goods

By Urban_Ursine |

Joanna's marketplace is a gourmet deli/market/cafe offering excellent breads (sliced for you if wished), pastries, muffins, and sandwiches. Their deli case selections are good, freshly made, and can get quite expensive as everything is sold by the pound. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. What a pleasant shopping experience! There are a few small tables to enjoy coffee and a treat. Parking lot can get crowded but there is additional parking on the street along side their corner location in the strip mall.

Great family owned market

By Christopher O |

I shop here regularly and they have a great selection of gourmet items. Sandwiches are sublime and they have a wide selection. Also if you go late in the day the fresh baked bread is half price.

Always satisfying

By Keylife |

Second trip here and again, a satisfied customer. We had their gourmet sandwiches #3 cornbeef with Coleslaw & #45 Cuban cowboy flank steak (our favorite). U can choose a side - macaroni salad (favorite side), potatoes salad (bland/no flavor), coleslaw, fruit salad. Our last visit we had the salmon sandwich with kale salad (very popular there). :)
