Joe Santucci's Square Pizza Bar & Grill Reviews

There is just something special about a santucci's pizza. A must have if you are in philly or just passing by. Never disappointed.

We really enjoyed our pizza aka tomato pie with cheese on the bottom at Joe Santucci's. It's really delicious and the place is clean with other nice menu choices. I would like to try something else there, but the pizza is the clear winner here.

Great pizza choices...my favorite being the Hawaiian. Good beers on tap. Nice service staff...though sometimes there's a wait for a seat because it's a popular place to eat.

I recently ordered a Medium Sausage pizza which was not a lot of food for the $15.90 price tag. I also ordered 12 wings which were good but they are advertised as Jumbo but they were all small wings and no drums. Not sure if I will order again.

This was our 2nd time eating here. We meet once or twice a monh and we had a favorite spot, but prices went up and food went down. We heard that Santucci's was a good place and decided to try it out. Our first visit was O.K., so we came back. This time our pizza was horrible - Too much salt. Well, it's out hunting again... Anyone know where to get a good pizza in the North East?

Tasty square pizza large pepperoni was $15 so prices are responsible. Total bill for five was $50. Has a bar and good selection of beers. Stromboli was tasty too.

First off my biggest pet peeve is when you order takeout, and they tell you 20 minutes. Then you go and wait over 45 minutes. We decided on pizza this evening because we were extremely busy so this really ruined our plans. The pizza was just OK, I prefer a thinner crust. And thank goodness we ordered the large, because it would equate as a medium at other pizza places.

Girlfriend and I got drinks on a Sunday night - there were about 10 other people at the bar and it was only 10pm, ordered a small pizza before the kitchen closed and that was good as usual. The bartender was friendly and made sure we liked our drinks but after 10 she started cleaning up and it was very uncomfortable. she wasn't just wiping down bottles and doing little things - she was moving things off and on the bar - wiping the bar down - putting liquor away it was very clear she wanted us to leave, so we did. would try the place again but you're in the hospitality business- step it up!

Before I leave for a trip and when I come back, the first thing I order is a Santucci's pizza. I've been raised with Joe's famous style pizza and plan to extend this to my own. I've been a consistent customer for many years now. Even before they moved across the plaza, the food was still amazing. I would like to thank Joe and his family for starting an amazing restaurant and good style!

I had a white pie with spinach and tomato thought it was really good. I have never had a pie that good.

I have enjoyed Santucci's Pizzas - Steaks - and Tomato Pies for many years over 50. They are the best I have ever had. This restaurant has a great family and neighborhood atmosphere.

I would never go back unfriendly place with cold food I liked this place better when it was a Perkins it's just terrible

The pizza here is DELICIOUS! And this place actually sells potato skins which my husband loves and most pizza places do not have them on their menu. Can't wait to try something else here!

Growing up in Juniata Park, you could always wait the 45-60 minute wait to have a Santuccis pizza delivered. It was always worth the wait! Joe Santuccis pizza has the same taste that I remembet from my childhood. You have to try pizza with hot sausage!

1st of all 20 some draft beers. Plain med pizza = plenty for 2 Especially when coupled with 2 apps Grilled shrimp & chef salad All not just good but excellent in prep & taste. See was our server, she was friendly, attentive, & professional. We sat at a booth but there is a nice bar area. Will return.

Every time my friends and I come here for a bite to eat it's always a great time. Food is absolutely amazing. The staff are as nice as can be. I love coming here

you have never tasted this type of pizza...imagine the cheese is melted on the bread and the tomato special recipe paste is on top of it after it's baked...a lovely taste you'll never forget...besides don't forget about a delicious steak sandwich...everything is great there...

Was in that part of Philly and a friend suggested I stop here to eat; he apparently was previously impressed. I wasn't. We shared a pizza which was good but not great. I also had a chicken cheese steak which was somewhat paltry (especially compared to one I recently had at another restaurant). The service was pretty friendly but the food took forever to come out.

Its just the best. The fresh square crust with the cheese melted to it THEN the sauce and meats on top of THAT! That way, the crust dont get all soggy! Big portions of toppings! Just simply the best pizza we've ever had. Even the Caesar salad dressing is home made day by day! ALL the food here is great. When we lived in Philly, we ate here every 2 weeks sometimes twice a week! And Joe is a cool individual and owner that will come out and make SURE you like your food. Who else does that?

They have some good pizza. This was our second trip and both times we had good pies. They have a nice beer list too. I wish the hostess wasn't so grumpy. But who cares. Good pizza.

This is a great lace to come to eat. One of the best Pizza I have ever eaten. All of the food on the menu is reasonably priced and always good. Family friendly and great service.

If you love pizza, this is definitely a great place to go. Bar/restaurant type atmosphere with a nice variety on the menu. Pizza style - square - cheese on bottom, sauce on top. This pizza has been a Philly favorite for many years. Average prices.

This pizza is like no other pizza I've ever had. There have been quite a few locations, this one is more of a sit down and have a beer place then the others. I love their pizza, it's so unique. I know they have other items on their menu but I only ever have the pizza, it's awesome!! My mouth is literally salvating thinking about the pizza! Do not miss Santucci's if you're anywhere near Woodhaven/ I95!!

Joe provides a different kind of pizza. Square pizzas are not uncommon (normally known as "Sicilian Style"). What is different here is that they put the cheese on 1st and then the sauce and toppings. Got to admit, I was bit skeptical Prior to trying it. The verdict - it was great. Nice crispy but not overdone crust, healthy portions of toppings, and the sauce did not dry out being on top. I would say the only downside. The pizza and food are so good, it gets crowded fast and stays crowded. I was lucky and went during lunch. Recommend this place to anyone - and if you have to wait - it will be worth it. A shot out to Jessica - represents the establishment well.

Excellent pie! The sauce is amazing. The pizza it's great and always well done. Highly recommended and love it !

Best pizza around.... always consistent. My kids and I are frequent customers Every time I have guests we take them here and they always fall in love with the pizza. Never had a bad item yet!!
