First thing's first -- I truly admire being approached by Joe and explicitly asked how the food, service, and our "findings" of his restaurant were! I complemented him on how I found the food but he meant literally, as in found but it was cute and I enjoy how tricky and alluring the English language can be :P This man and his business is truly only on a tier of their own and definitely was a caramel topping to an already cherry-topped first, and quintessentially not last, experience. Location! Location! Location! This place couldn't get any better. Well-coveted and easy to find; lucky the parking and line gods smiled upon us and entered Joe's Falafel somewhat busy but were ordered up courteously and served competently. We noticed when we took our seats in a open-seating arrangement, a line forming and I couldn't help but think "serendipity" but I cheese myself. The restaurant is in a cozy plaza-type venue where parking is at the restaurant's door and metered street parking is available as well. (this place is MUCH better than City Walk food, I'd rather walk here if I have city guests :). Price-wise, phenomenal! Serving size -- gasp-worthy. I had Joe's Special - Chicken Shawarma Salad served with yummy corn, supremely fresh cilantro and exquisitely fluffy and scrumptious pita bread (I wouldn't mind living off of their pita bread!) I'm a big guy and prefer to eat my weight but this dish made every single bite last to it's last green end and I'm glad I still have leftovers to enjoy! I definitely want to try more. This is place is very inviting and very easy to socialize and be human in. Over the top friendly and inviting. I want to try more options. I'm determined to find that oily, gritty, unhealthy looking but when you dig into it, you have get nothing but goodness and joy - I felt that in my salad :) - my mother/brother had a beef/chicken falafel plate and the creamy sauce made things even more delicious and smooth. Now I'm craving for some more of that true hospitality -- Joe offered us watermelon just when we were out the door ... which of course as Filipinos we must say no, but really we mean yes, but need to be insisted 3 or 4 more times more, but he didn't insist so missed out on some possibly even delectable watermelon but it was too much anyhow and you can never have too much of good thing -- timing is key :D We absolutely filled ourselves, felt abundantly welcomed, freed ourselves for a moment or so from our mundane lives and were firmly graced by a kind and humble man with his livelihood; we need more of that in Los Angeles. -- now we're off declaring our go-to Mediterranean place to the law-firms/hospitals/care facilities we Filipinos notoriously work. . . I wonder if Joe delivers, we need some late-night options. ;)

I was craving some gyro and I had the gyro in pita bread. I enjoyed it so much that I had it again a few days later. I had the gyro lafa. I enjoyed both of these so much. I don't know if I had cravings, but this place is so good. They have options for plates and bowls (both have rice), but I think the sandwiches are my thing. I have to try their other meats in sandwich form. The falafels here are so good and a must each visit.

A quick trip through LA, connecting with my son and his partner over a quick dinner, searching for Joe's at twilight on a busy city street, doubling back to park in the mini-lot, and <surprise> a good dinner at a reasonable price. The restaurant is low key, no frills, order-at-the-counter, and quite tasty. What Joe's lacks in ambience is made up for as a neighborhood favorite with a loyal local customer base. It is a place to relax and enjoy Mediterranean comfort food.

Super rude staff The worst staff I ever faced. The girl on the cashier, she was trying to show her body instead of taking care customer . When I asked for some details she barely answered. I’m just sorry for the owner who trusted this girl , however the food was good the staff make everyone not going back there anymore.

Convenient location for North Hollywood/Studio City. Relatively quick service, very tasty food, lots of vege options too.

Lafa sandwich is better over pita sandwich. I asked them to cut Lafa sandwich into the 3 pieces for 3 kids which worked out best. Hot and freshly made bread made each sandwich amazing. Many choices for the vegetarian . If I could find the parking easily, I would love to dine again and again. Carry out was the best way to avoid parking problem. It looks like Bob's Burger from a T.V show.

Easy walk from Universal City hotel. Owner Joe greeted us and brought us some falafel samples to try - best I ever had. Ordered Combo Grill (Kafta, chicken kabob, beef kabob, & chicken shawarma served with hummus, salad, rice, and pita bread) and 6 Falafel. Everything was excellent except beef kabob (very good flavor but a little chewy) and rice (yellow basmati needed some spicing up). Good service - busy but orders came out pretty quickly. Great prices for high quality, made from scratch food.

KCRW's "Good Food," review turned me on to Joe's Falafel. And what a find, I'll definitely be back! Highly recommend the chicken kabob (I ordered it on lafa, which they make in house - YUM) and the veggie plate which is as beautiful as it is delicious with a wonderfully sophisticated use of spices. Portions are generous and easy to share. The staff is warm and welcoming, like a family business. Eat inside at tables or the bar, or outdoors cafe-style. A real treat!

Joe's Falafel is my go-to place whenever I'm too lazy to cook dinner (trust me, it happens often). My go-to dish is the chicken kabob plate. It comes with a generous helping of chicken over a bed of rice, plus a side of salad and hummus. It also comes with a thick pita, but you should make sure to grab one of their homemade lafa. Their food is consistently yummy and because of its generous size, I can usually split up my plate into two meals. If you are fortunate to meet Joe himself, he will make you feel right at home. He often sends us home with a small baggie of desserts to try and he and his staff are always polite and attentive.

LOVE Joe's Falafel!!!! If you're into fresh, delicious, authentic Mediterranean cuisine, this is the place for you. Located on Caheunga in Hollywood (near Universal City Walk), Joe's Falafel is a rare find. Not only is the food out of this world in freshness, authenticity, and flavor, the staff are very respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Joe himself goes out of his way to ensure that his customers feel at home by visiting patrons' table(s) during their meals to ensure they are having a pleasant dining experience. He sincerely cares about his customers' satisfaction and it's a common practice of his to offer extras (free of charge) such as hummus, pita bread (which he makes fresh daily, by the way), or semolina cakes to make their experience even better. He's also a very interesting gentleman to converse with, I highly recommend it to whomever gets the opportunity! Oh, and the cherry on top.. the decor is beautiful and impeccably clean. In summary.. Joe's Falafel: A must try!!!!!

Joe's just up the street from my son's apartment and is go to spot for him after work. We were visiting him and had Sunday brunch. Falafel and gyros were best we had outside outside of place on Rue Rosiers in Paris. Homemade lafa delicious and Joe very friendly. Now it's our go to spot too!

Excellent middle eastern food and super friendly accommodating service. Joe, the restaurants namesake, checks in with every customer. It’s our favorite restaurant in the valley.

The ambiance is like a typical fast food joint, simple and clean. Since falafel is fast food, this is the right setting. don't expect a fancy or trendy place. The service is very nice, polite and friendly. But the real reason for the 5 stars is the food: This is the best falael I ate in the US, soft, moist and made in a pita the right way. The lamb shank special was also excellent and made with tomato sauce, which is different and works great. These are so hard to get in southern California and I was very happy to find it. The owners are of Israeli-Greek heritage, so they know their food. Plus, it is just outside Universal studios, less then a 5 minute driver, no parking issues. A great surprise and highly recommended.

It was good food and very kindly owner, and the falafel was delicious! But the rice was not the best I have eat..

Incredible food and great service. Fresh bread cooked for us and tasty falafel. Popped in as they were cleaning up and observed how meticulous they were with cleaning all surfaces. If they pay this much attention to the cleaning you know that food will have had just as much care. Some of best middle eastern food I’ve ever had and lovely pleasant staff.

Sorry to say I was excited for some Mediterranean and was quite disappointed. I got the chicken shawarma plate. My chicken and rice both tasted very bland. The hummus, bread and salad turned out fine. I was Not expecting something high quality but even the basic spices were lacking. I'll have to try my luck elsewhere. They get points for the baklava which was good but that's about it.

Our son and his family live nearby. Each time we come to town we plan on Joe’s. The original owner has sold, but he must have included recipes and quality standards too. Greek fries amazing, chicken shawarma tasty crisp on outside, moist and flavorful inside. Tabouleh salad just right. Falafel crisp outside, cooked but moist and balanced inside. Very near Universal Studios.

Tried this place twice during the trip to CA and both the kebab and the falafel was great. Joe seems to be an awesome guy and took time to have a chat with you. We found out that he actually lived in Malmo, Sweden for a while so he knew a few words of Swedish. Impressive. I actually regret that I didn't tried this restaurant again... one place I will miss from my trip to CA.

We stopped here on our way to Universal Studios, to avoid park food. It was a great choice. The pita, pita chips and hummus are fresh and delicious!! The shawarma and falafel pitas were also great. Definitely would return if I lived nearby. It’s a little pricey, but quality food.

Joes Falafel’ were the best I’ve ever had. They were so good, I begged him to move to Vegas. Great service and the falafel and Hummus were they best. I’ll be stopping back by before I leave to go home.

Second time i eat here. The falafel was aaaaamazing. i was asked if i wanted it on a pita or lafa. I chose the lafa since the guy said that its made fresh there on the spot and that its a bit more fluffier compared to the pita ( which comes premade and its frozen ) The falafel was huge, probably over a foot long, the fries were also very nice and crispy ( waaaay better than INnOUTs ) Will definately go there again, when in the area. Service was quick and accurate.

The food is fantastic! I had the Beef Kabob plate and it was great! The Lentil Soup was amazing! Add to that the wonderful service and a father and son business and you have a winner! If you like Middle Eastern food, you have to eat there!

I have never been so excited to write a review! And a 5 star review, nonetheless (I'm a harsh critic)! We drove over to Joe's Falafel after a hike up to the Hollywood sign. The owner Joe and everyone on staff was so welcoming and attentive! As soon as we (a group of 14 college kids) sat down, he rushed over with plates of falafels for us to try. On to the food! I had the chicken shawarma in the homemade lafa since I have never had either. You could see the meat cooking right behind the counter, and the bread is made right there in front of you. It was so fresh and delicious! Joe actually brought us an extra gyro because he thought we'd ordered it, but since no one had claimed it, told us to keep it! I actually liked the gyro better (I'm a sucker for a delicious tzatziki sauce), but the shawarma was flavorful and very filling. The watermelon slices at the end were a refreshing surprise! Joe's Falafel was definitely the highlight of my restaurant experience in LA (and it's been 10 weeks)! I can't wait to go again and again and again!

We saw the big Falafel sign when we exit Universal studios. The food was great, fresh, good quality, the service and hospitality were excellent. The place has basic decoration but the quality is excellent. Highly recommended if you are looking for healthy and tasty food. Great value for money

Food tasted amazing. Falafel was out of this world. the host was awesome, definitely recommend this to anyone looking for food outside the universal studios.

With a modestly dressed interior, don't be alarmed, for they clearly spend more time on creating delicious dishes. The falafels are oh so tasty! They have a great option on the menu to have an entree consisting of a variety of their grilled meat. So you pretty much get to try their menu in one sitting.

We traveled from TX to CA for vacation on 1/1/2013 and I found this place on trip advisor. It is very clean place, excellent food. The salad is outstanding. I loved the Falafel Joe gave us to try; also Nan (bread) which they make their own was very delicious. The lentil soup was soooo good. Very friendly staff and of course most of all Joe is very kind and generous. Don't miss Joe’s Falafel if you ever go to L.A.

Great dinner! Very fresh, and fantastic falafel. Our family always enjoys Mediterranean food, and this didn’t disappoint. Our vegetarian daughter had a great meal!

I came here with a friend for dinner because it was on the Yelp 100 list. And it definitely met the hype! We were so impressed with this place. The food is cheap and it's delicious. Also, the service is phenomenal here. They stop by your table and give you a free dessert sample. The gyro sandwich is really good here. We also tried the falafel which was phenomenal as well. All in all, I would definitely be back!

Food: 8.5/10 Service: 8.5/10 Drink: 6/10 Value: 9/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Very good tasting Mediterranean food, great value, and good service...what say more?

Good falafel-- even after a few days in refrigerator Disappointed that only shawarma was all chicken but very good.

I had the chicken shawarma in the homemade lafa since I have had that dish may times in the time I can be a very good opinion giver. You could see the meat cooking right behind the counter, and the bread is made right there in front of you. It was so fresh and delicious! Joe actually brought us an extra because he thought we'd ordered it, but since no one had claimed it, told us to keep it! The watermelon slices at the end were a refreshing surprise! Joe's Falafel was definitely the highlight of our restaurant experience in LA, I can't wait to go again and again and again!

I wanted to eat a good falafel with my family in LA. After looking in some food Pages, we decided to go to Joe's Falafel. What a good choice we've made! I strongly recommend this place, specially if someone in your family is a vegetarian and you're bored of eating spinach

My cousin brought me here for dinner and the food was amazing. Their Gyro and hummus was excellent. Great service by all the guys there. Definitely recommend.

On our last day in L.A. we stumbled upon Joe's Falafel, and it was the best food we had the entire trip. The Gyro's are incredible and enormous. Joe couldn't stop offering us free samples of the Falafel and hummus and both were amazing. This is a small unasuming place, just like the owner himself, (very sweet mand) it has only been open a short time but it will be there I am sure for a long time to come. You will not walk away hungry.

Loved it. Tried the gyro platter and the salmon salad. Both were delicious. One of the chefs gave us some falafel to try (on the house). Best ever. Friendly staff, great food at a great price. Love it!

Happened by the place searching for lunch and what a find! I have eaten a lot of falafel in my time but this was the BEST. The babaganoosh was creamy and delicious. The pita was pocketed perfectly and just the right amount of fluffiness. Joe was hospitable and good to speak with even during lunch hour. If I lived anywhere near, I would be there at least weekly.

This is a great place ... small, not fancy ... terrific food reasonably priced ... friendly staff -- they make you feel very welcome. My husband and I had falafel sandwiches which were wonderful. Their menu also has a variety of entree plates that include rice and salad -- I think I'll try one of those the next time I go there (if I can get past the delicious falafel sandwiches). .

Great falafel wrap and also Greek salad and also falafel and hummus The fresh wraps are better than the pitta So would recommend that

This is the second time that I have been to Joe's Falafel. Let's start off with the fact that the service can be spotty and very inconsistent at best. Second, the first time I ate there the fava beans and the dolmas were both under-cooked. Pure garbage. I just ate there and the dolmas were under-cooked again and the owner stated he would give us some additional falafel. I take issue with any place that is providing you with two falafel on an $11.00 falafel plate. What are they made of "fcuking gold"!!! Second why are we waiting for you to give us some additional falafels for 15-20 minutes when your other food on the plate was under-cooked. Are you out of your mind??? In this era of good food on every corner why any patron would up with this sort of crap amazes me? But this is Hollyweird and Lower Alabama what can you expect? As we would say from my neck of the country GTFOOH!!!

This is our fourth visit to Joe’s. Each successive visit has been a bit more of a let down (Feb = 5 stars, April twice = 4 stars, and Aug = 3 stars.) On this visit, the food was not up to standards and the service was actually surly. I had called to find out the daily specials. Unfortunately, the man who answered the phone was gruff and brusque. In fact, he seemed truly irritated that I was asking. He basically refused to tell me the specials, which is absurd since they are written on a chalkboard right above the counter where he takes orders (and too bad, as they sounded tasty when I read them upon arriving.) So, we ordered our standard Falafel and Gyros sandwiches. The Falafel was terrific, best ever as usual. Unfortunately, the Gyros meat was awful - big hunks cuts of cold, spongy, and flavorless pressed meat. Maybe they goofed and sliced it off an uncooked skewer, then forgot to cook it? Or did they switch to a lower-grade of meat? While I can understand having an off day (it can happen to anyone,) we’re not very excited about visiting again given the gruff manner of the counterman.

You can find in LA many options for Arabic and Israeli food. But definitely, this is one of the best. Falafel, Tahini, Lafa, Pita, chicken, all really great.

I have been going to Joe's for about a year and have had almost everything on the menu. Two very big thumbs up. Shwarma, and Gyros, are fantastic. Also, love the lemon chicken. Very reasonably price to boot.

I was staying at a nearby hotel and walked here and back from near Universal Studios — a pleasant evening walk to join colleagues for a casual business dinner. Joe’s is a cute little place, very authentic. Service was a little slower than I would have expected as we were basically the only ones there — so I guess this means they were preparing our meals quite fresh! Food was finally served, and a wee heads up … “small” = VERY small! Note also that prices have changed drastically over the past year, compared to menus you may see online. The above aside, my bowl included super tender chicken and we all enjoyed our meals. The falafels were especially fresh (my vegetarian colleague said they were perhaps the best she’s ever had!) and I couldn’t stop eating the fresh pita it was so good! One thing to note: the food was soooo spicy!! I definitely wasn’t expecting that, as I’ve never experienced spicy Mediterranean food before (it’s usually quite a mild cuisine). One of our friends arrived a bit late for the meal and ordered after us — we warned her about the spice levels and she requested “no spice” — thankfully, they were able to tone down her meal for her :)

When a friend recommended Joe's and said it was the best Falafel in LA I had to try it. Usually, I'm not that fussed about falafels - they're either too hard or too soggy but Joe's falafels are just right - light fluffy and super tasty. Joe makes his own laffa bread on the premises - so delicious. The falafel on laffa with tahini (subtly smoky) and fattoush salad exceeded expectation and had my tastebuds dancing. I'll be back.

This is not a fancy place, but don't let that fool you. The food and service is amazing! I'm originally from Germany but have lived for many years in Israel and can tell you that this is as authentic as it gets. You will have a hard time to find such good hummus and falafel anywhere in the Middle East. The owner Joe is so nice and kind. I've rarely seen a restaurant owner putting this much effort into making sure that his guests are satisfied. And all of that for prices that easily compare with other fast food places.

We ended here after a tiring and fun day at the Universal Studios. It would be an understatement to say that we were hungry. The owner turned out to be very friendly and helped us chose our fill. We had Gyros and Humus along with some Falafels (On The House). Ended up having a pleasant evening watching American Ninja with a bunch of other stranger but still feeling at home. Thank you for your food and love.

The falafel was so so so good! The falafel sandwich was great. The chicken swarma was yummy. The chicken swarma laffa! Great place!

I saw all of the other great reviews so I decided to give his place a try-it did not disappoint. The laffa gyro I had came with plenty of delicious lamb and beef, and the falafel was crisp and tasty. Joe definitely uses nothing but fresh ingredients and the food is packed with delicious spices. The homemade baklava is some of the best I have ever had. I strongly recommend Joe's Falafel. Simple looking on the outside, but nicely decorated on the inside.

This place is excellent. They make traditional lafa right in front behind the counter. Everytime i go i get the gyro lafa. It is huge!! Place is friendly, and the food is great, what an awesome find by chance.

My wife and I were directed to this neighborhood gem by a friend who lives nearby. This is a part of the Hollywood/Universal Studios area where the traffic is often so bad you just want to put on the blinders, crank up the stereo and crawl your way home. However, after a day at Universal Studios - with crazy crowds and overpriced food, set aside time to stop here. The service and ambiance is very comfortable (the restroom is spotless - a good sign),and you can tell a lot of the neighborhood appreciates the great food here. I had the combo platter (chicken, schwerma, beef kabob, lula kebab) and my wife had the lamb shank - all cooked to perfection. The portions are generous and [rices are reasonable - not like the overpriced, skimpy fare over the hill in the Hollywood proper. In other words, this is authentic food, well-seasoned, prepared by a manager Elias who knows and appreciates his customers. If you arrive and don't find parking right away, wait a minute and one of the many to-go customers will leave with smiles and their take-out orders.

We stopped by Joe’s falafel to have some foods; and it was amazing! The customer service, the staff, the food, everything was fenomenal. I definitely recommend this place, especially if you want to feel well treated. The owner is just the kindest and the best ever++++++

Every time we visit Los Angeles area, we have to go to Joe's falafel at least twice. It's a small place, where you order your food and sit down to dine. If you are looking for ambiance then this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for authentic, yummy food then please try this place. Their food is delicious and consistent. The owner always offers you samples To try. The falafel plate is great, the appetizers are scrumptious, and the Kibba is amazing. We haven't tried the desserts. If you are close to the area, you must visit this place.

Really can't say enough great things about this restaurant. Very un-assuming situated in the strip mall where its located, you would never guess it is THE best mediterranean food in Los Angeles. Service is great and the food is always cooked just right. I've honestly had the Lemon Chicken Plate 10 work days in row. No joke. The hummus + pita is the best I've ever had. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Just got done with a casual dinner at Joe's. It was our first visit and when the owner found that out he made us falafel samples that were delish! Wonderfully spiced and not greasy at all. My chicken kabobs were moist and tender, the rice was great and the salad was properly lemony. The hummus was smooth and creamy! My husband 's gyros were tasty as well.

Ok I've had lafa rolls at many places and this one wins hands down. The kafta Kabab lafa roll is to die for. The lafa bread is made fresh to order so it comes straight from the oven to your plate. The beef tastes so good it just melts in your mouth. Even the shwarma chicken roll is amazing. Will keep going back. About $8 a roll.

Middle east quality falafel.Very tasty. Excellent tahini sauce. Huge portion. Helpful servers. You will not be disappointed.

We got the vegetarian plate and everything was fresh and very tasty. Loved the smoky baba ghanoush. We also got a sample of the fava beans, which were fantastic. HIGHLY recommend!

Went there on a trip to L.A., based on its good reputation on various review sites. The food has surpassed my expectations. I am from Montreal and I have visited many Middle East restaurants in my city, but Joe's Falafel is easily one of the best I have ever been to. A few points worth mentionning: Food: First, all the ingredients used are of high quality. The pita and lafa are freshly cooked, you can TASTE the skilled cooking just with these two items. The rice is smooth and tasty. The hummus is perfectly mixed. The garlic sauce is very unique. Beef Kebab and Kefta are full of flavors. For the health conscious, the food items are low in fat and not greasy at all, unlike other fast food chains. Everything is amazing. Restaurant: Very clean, apparently already has an A grade rating near the entrance. Staff: Owner is very friendly and humble, he makes your dinning experience comfortable and cosy, just like you were eating at home. The employees are very polite and together they do some great Middle Eastern cooking. Food was so good that I had to go twice during my 2 day visit in L.A. Would go again if I went to L.A.

Love the chicken kabob sandwich on lafa bread, ok hummus, great falafel. Very reasonable pricing. The lafa and kabobs are cooked fresh with every order.

Being a vegetarian I tend towards buffet style Mediterranean cuisine. Although Joe’s Falafel was not buffet style we were not disappointed. The servers were pleasant and the bathrooms clean, which is the first thing I check before deciding to order. The taste and portions surpassed our expectations. If you are in the Los Angeles area I recommend this restaurant.

The food here is delicious and the owner could not be more friendly. We ordered a range of food and he made us felafel too, so we could try them. The children were a bit tired (we had just flown in from the UK) and he was very concerned that they enjoyed the meal, even giving us a plate of watermelon to finish the meal. We would heartily recommend Joe’s.

We ordered to our hotel, after feeling tired and they delivered to our hotel door! The food was extremely tasty, and very clean, not greasy at all. Wondeful! Thank you!

Such a respite from bad Universal Studios theme park food. The owner greeted us with hot falafels on sticks! Fresh, great tasting, and very reasonably priced food.

The girl who answered the phone on 7/30/13 at 350 pm had a horrible attitude on her when asked her a question about the business she just said no one, and hung up , with such great reviews I see they lag like everything else and that is in customer service. Why have this girl answer the phone

Joe is awesome!!! The food is fresh and handmade by his whole family. Make sure that you try the soup. It's not always available, but when it is... it's so worth it!! Parking is an issue.

The Falafel was one of the best I ever had! The portion was huge and I like that everything was made fresh on the spot. I would recommend coming here with friends!

We live in NY but travel to LA several times a year for kids. We hit Joe's two weeks ago and was as excellent as always. I would challenge you to find tastier falafel, chicken shawarma , lafa, tabouleh, etc. The owners are friendly and the restaurant is spotless. I shared that I have tried making chicken shawarma at home and promptly received several tips AND a bag of spices. Made the dish last night....the one thing missing was the lafa bread. If nothing else, get the warm lafa bread. Highly recommend Joe's.

Wow wow and wow ! What an amazing place to eat when in L.A, from the moment we walked in we were waited for by hand and foot.Joe was lovely! It was clean cozy and the food was incredible! Honestly the best falafel I have eaten hands down. I’m spewing we didn’t know about it earlier I would of went back for sure ! I highly recommend you come and visit even if you have a day or two in L.A it’s a MUST you won’t regret it. Many thanks to Joe who welcomed us in to his amazing restaurant love from Australia !!!!

We stopped here for dinner after a day at Universal Studios. I had the vegetarian combo and it was delicious! The falafel had a little spice to it and the baba ganoush was the best I’ve tried. My boyfriend had the gyro plate and said he would give it 5 out of 5 stars! The staff was very friendly and the food was fresh. We will definitely be returning next time we are in the area

Great customer service by owner. I am a traveller and yet this is the best Falafel and pita I had. Even Baklava was out of world.

Looked this place by yelp review Ana thought to give a try. No regrets - as the food was yum and value for money . Service was excellent !!

When you get a chance to visit in the Middle East and experience Mediterranean restaurant, you find that the food taste so much better and not just because of its quality. One of the most important ingredient in a Mediterranean restaurant is the HOSPITALITY! a place where you always feel welcomed and almost always get something you did not expect. At Joe's, you always feel like you are visiting an old friend; you are greeted with a welcoming smile and the staff usually knows you and your favorite food. You will often be served with free items which are not on the menu, such as a cold slice of watermelon or a fresh cup of Turkish Coffee. Back to the food... there is nothing close in taste or quality to Joe's Falafel or Shawarma in a hundred mile radius!'. For a "fast food" restaurant, there is no better than Joe's with any cuisine Way to go JOE

Joe's Falafel the food is always great. The white meat chicken is moist, salads crisp and tasty. His homemade hummus has just the correct about of garlic and his bread is the best. Joe is always there to make sure everything is perfect. Close to Universal Studios
Biggest, tastiest falafel balls I have ever had in my mouth!
I am a falafel fanatic. When I travel I visit as many falafel restaurants as possible. I have tried over a hundred falafel restaurants. My search for the best falafel is over now that I found Joe's. Joe had the tastiest and biggest falafel balls I have ever put in my mouth. The staff was very friendly and quick. I can't wait to visit Joe's again!
