This place has been a favorite of mine for years. Not one Negative Comment! The Meats are the Best! The secret for grilling is that the grill Must be already Smokin' Hot. Top Quality and Top Notch!!

WOW! Don't miss this one! You enter a door then you are RIGHT in the kitchen. You are greeted by the niced people in the world. I was still confused on where to go. They told us to go out the back door after gettong out food. Then there was this great outside table area. Opened the food container.....holy crap....ton of food. 5 star for food. 5 star foe staff.

If you get tired of gambling and you need a break then go hungry for great bbq, the food is so good your taste buds will go crazy for some great bbq not to mention the staff make you feel welcomed as if your visiting family.

Great food - 1/2 chicken meal with cornbread and two sides for $9.50, good also. Homemade hot links almost like Texas. My only negative was just by personal preference - mayo potato salad served here. Excellent cornbread.

Visited here on a recent trip to Las Vegas. My sister-in-law had the pulled pork sandwich. My brother had the 3 meat combo and I had the 2 meat combo. We all really enjoyed our meals. They give you lots of meat and sides. The brisket, pulled pork, tri-tip and burnt ends were great. The sides of mac’n’cheese, green beans, potato salad and baked beans were great as well. The staff were very friendly. The prices are great too. It was worth the trip off the beaten path.

We set our gps to this location as soon as we left the airport. Wanted to try something off the beaten path that wasn't a chain. It is in the middle of a neighborhood so don't be fooled, it is a great meal. Yes you walk in and order to the left, unless you are there for the meat shop then go to the right. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, when asked if we were new there and we said yes, they gave us samples to try that were very tasty. Reasonable priced you will not walk away hungry, we have had our fair share of BBQ and this rates high. Walk through the kitchen to the back and you will be shown the smokers. We loved this meal, but the friendly staff just made it that much more, it was a great way to start our trip and if we ever return to Las Vegas, we will be back to eat here.

Road Kill Grill is the best BBQ in Vegas. Delicious food with huge portions. Worth the drive off the strip. John Mull DOES IT RIGHT

Absolutely love their BBQ...and the beans are to die for! I would highly recommend going if you're in Vegas...they close at 6 pm, so get there early since there's always a line out the door.

First off I must say the staff were more than polite and friendly. The make you feel more than welcome. They take your name with your order and call it like you've been friends for yearssss.. " miss rose your order is here" Next is the food.......this is the kind you eat slow cause you will definitely appreciate every single bite. I tried Burt ends, chicken, ribs, Mac and cheese, collard greens, pulled chicken, apple cobbler, peach cobbler, potato salad, and macaroni salad....hey, this was my first trip. I have to say it was all delicious and we'll prepared. Like it was made with love and pride. If any readers come to Vegas I'm telling you this is well worth the trip.

My adult children bought me a gift card to the Road Kill Grill. My wife and I finally visited today. All I can say is “WOW”. Great food and lots of it. Bob was very gracious and pleasant to speak with. We each had 2 meat combos, ate until we were stuffed and took home enough for at least one more meal each. Total cost about $34 (with two bottles of water). Needless to say we will return.

Not sure what the hoopla is about. Tried brisket, burnt ends and ribs. Everything is mediocre. Hardly any smoke flavor. Brisket cut way to thin and no real brisket taste. Maybe being from Texas has me too picky but I have had way better!

Stop here every year when we are in vegas. Since it's the end of the year my wife always wants a hug and a kiss from john for the holidays. Amazingly, we see john one time a year he remembers us. Being from the east coast he asked how we fared during hurricane florence...that's amazing. The food as always was spectacular, done to perfection seasoned perfectly. Amazing sides. Always go for the mac and cheese, baked beans and greens. Portion size is amazing. If you are in the area stop by for bbq you will love.

The food was excellent get a lot of food for your money. Enjoyed free samples given out while waiting in line. Loved the free water.

I went there to purchase turkey meat products and they didn't disappoint. I purchased turkey chops, turkey legs and turkey tails. These products are virtually impossible to find in the traditional supermarket. The turkey chops were large and lean. The turkey legs were nice and big. I wanted turkey wings but they were out. I found out the trick to getting what you need before they run out is to call in your order early for pick up. The butcher shop side of this place is small but they are quick. The hot food side is also small but the smell will make you forget that you came in for uncooked food. We ordered the Tri tip platter with collard greens and yams. Delicious. I also ordered the chopped chicken sandwich. It was quite large and quite tasty. This place doesn't look like much but don't let the looks fool you. This is a must see and taste. You will enjoy.

This is some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. There hasn’t been anything that I couldn’t give 5 star rating. Cornbread is at another level. I don’t even crave cornbread but you need to order extra when it comes with your meal. You just can’t eat one.

Noticed that this is the #2 ranked spot for quick bites in Vegas. Very impressive! John Mull's is sort of a business within a business. It's actually a meat market/butcher shop that also happens to serve cooked food as well, primarily BBQ. There's no place at all to eat inside the very small open area. Two lines are immediately formed - one to the right as you walk in if you're just here for some meat, the longer line forms to the left to order cooked food that you can purchase, and which is served cafeteria style. You then take your meal and whatever drink you purchase and enjoy in a huge outdoor sitting area - lots of picnic tables, all under a canopy. And it does get busy, lemme tell ya. Altho there is a lot of raving going on about great their food is, I think it's more along the lines of good, rather than great. BUT.....boy do you get your money's worth, that's for sure. I had the burnt ends dinner, which comes with two sides. The Mrs had a pulled pork sammy - think that came with just one side. But nevertheless, these meals pack a wallop, mine in particular. For less than $15, they give you a whole bunch of burnt end pieces, enough to stretch into two meals, which is what I did. I chose the mac-n-cheese and the chili for my two sides. Both were ok, nothing to write home about. The chili in particular was a bit watery. The sammy that the Mrs had was generously filled with a lot of pulled pork. You get a choice of BBQ sauce on the side, one is spicy the other is regular. We got one of each to try them both. The spicy is just that...SPICY, but tasty. I've had better BBQ in a number of places, but this was still good and the volume was way above average. All in all, a really good value for the money.

JM's Road Kill Grill is worth the travel to northern Las Vegas. The food is amazing and tender. You can tell it's a great place to eat when you arrive early and there is a line of locals waiting for their lunch. They give samples to help you decide but be aware, you will still have a difficult time choosing from all the delicious assortments of meats. If you want original BBQ meats this is the place!!

Everytime we come here the food is amazing! The staff is friendly and efficient. There is always a line but they move everyone thru at a good pace. Highly recommend.

This is a must stop on our yearly pilgrimage to Las Vegas. The bbq is awesome. Brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, hot links, ribs and more. Great side dishes. Friendly staff. Plus a hug and a kiss from john himself for Christmas is always nice.

i got a burnt end dinner holy crap by far the best ive had. also got some fresh meat from the meat market the staff beyond helpful and friendly. we smoked some short ribs the following day. amazing and tender meat. always love eating here while in Vegas

The reputation of this place precedes itself. We shared brisket and pulled pork sandwiches and we enjoyed both. I ordered a side of baked beans which I though was one of the best I have eaten. I sampled the ribs but was it impressed. This is casual dining where you eat outside. The personnel are very friendly. I went out of my way to find this place and was glad we did.

Heard about this place and even had a daughter recommend it to us. This out of the way place was a great find. With it being so busy inside the small area one of the employees directed us to find a table at the outside eating area and she would come get our order. When our order came, everything was hot, delicious and some of the best bbq we've had. The prices are above average but the food was also.

Amazing. Best meal around Vegas so far. Huge portion sizes. Great smoked flavor. Favorite was the brisket and Mac and cheese. Both amazing

The food was absolutely fantastic, from meats to sides to cherry cobbler. However, telling people they've got an hour wait and then making them wait TWO hours, standing in the heat, after they've already paid for their food, and when they're missing time with family during a 4th of July visit from out of state, isn't really acceptable. You need to let people know the truth of how far you're running behind so they can make an informed choice about how they want to spend their precious holiday hours.

Best barbecue in Vegas and some of the best you’ll find anywhere. The tri-tips and sausage links are my favorite. Great portions and price. I’ve been to Vegas 40-50 times and this is the only place I’ve been to every single time.

Every time I come to Vegas, I always without fail put some time aside to visit the Roadkill Grill, and every time it has been a fantastic experience. This trip was no exception. If you're staying on the Strip then you'll need an Uber (unless you've got a car). It's approx $20 each way, and takes anything up to 25 minutes to get there depending on traffic - but trust me it's worth it! On Tuesday 4th June I headed over for some lunch by myself. It wasn't too busy since it was midweek (weekends can be long queues), and my order was taken pretty quickly. The staff here are so friendly and chatty that even waiting in line is a pleasant experience. I ordered a 2 meat combo - Pork ribs, beef tri-tip, beans, mac & cheese, and it came with a side of cornbread, came in at around $23 I think. I grabbed a seat in the shade and made myself comfortable. As always, the food was cooked to perfection, with the meat falling off the bone and melting in the mouth. I'd never had tri-tip before so I was keen to give it a go, and I'm so glad I did, it was beyond delicious, lightly smokey, full of flavour and unbelievably tender! The sides were all great, especially the cornbread, but let's face it the meat is the reason you're here, and it does not disappoint. This was my 5th visit to the Roadkill Grill and it won't be my last.

Generous portions very delicious bbq. The best bbq I have had in a long time. Prices are reasonable. I will be back. Meat falls off the bone.

Went to this place with friends and family not knowing what to expect. It was some of the best bbq I have ever had. Had the two item combo w/rib tips, brisket, green beans and potato salad. Wife ate pulled chicken sandwich. It was all good. A little out of the way but if you want something off the strip, this is the place to go. Would highly recommend and would go again in a heartbeat.

I had seen this place on diners drive ins and dives and always wanted to visit, I was in vegas for my wedding so my bride to be and myself visited, and we were amazed.... Firstly it does get extremely busy as soon as it opens, so get there early, the day we visited it was hot hot hot, you join the queue and straight away your met with the most amazing smells imaginable, meat, sausages, ribs all been smoked it's a month watering wait,as we where queuing the staff were giving out cold bottles of water which was a nice gesture espec when your stood outside waiting to place your order, after we recieved our food we found a table and got stuck in, WOW ,I wasn't disappointed and will return next time were in vegas, the meat was juicy, full of flavour, the sides were just as good we had the 3 meat platter and it was enough for 2, the staff are awesome and produce some out of this world food ,they deserve every tip they get, they work there butts off, it was blistering heat, it's all done outside, but the staff cracked on and got the job done, thank you for an amazing experience WE WILL RETURN if I could 10 stars I would.

Food was below average. Brisket was dry and had a weird aftertaste. Mashed was hard and gravy was flavorless. The dark meat chicken was stellar though. I would have that and the mac again. Pulled pork was average. For $23 (three meat combo, came with two small sides) it is severely overpriced. Oh and if you're white, be prepared to be treated like a ghost. Almost like you're not even there. The difference in service I received versus the other folks in that place that looked different than me was readily apparent. Luckily, I know how to speak up for myself otherwise I might still be waiting for my plate.

Being from Texas, I'm a bit biased on good BBQ but I can say that John Mull's Meats & Road Kill Grill is among the best I have had in the area. In Texas, BBQ is expensive and its not uncommon to go away hungry unless you spend a lot but John Mull's gives you some big portions. The Brisket sandwich was so big, we brought some home. The meat was a bit dry but they give you plenty of sauce to go with it. The Chicken was as good as you would expect and the sausage was delicious bathed in their own sauce. Finally, the Cherry Cobbler stole the show, it was amazing and I recommend you don't pass it up. They really don’t have any indoor tables and you place your order before you go inside to pick up your food. It sounds sloppy but its actually very well managed. Customer service was fantastic and overall, prices were very reasonable for BBQ. I really enjoyed the food and look forward to returning, especially to have some of their home-made cobbler!

Hands down some of the best if not the best BBQ I've ever had. I had the 5-Bone rib dinner and the ribs are huge and the portions large enough to either share or take 1/2 home for later. Prices are very fair especially if you have seen some of the other prices for strip eateries. This place was featured on Diners Drive-In's and Dives and is well worth the trip, about 20 minutes northwest of downtown Vegas. Cant wait to go back.

This is a funky outdoor BBQ joint similar to ones in Texas I have been to. The lunch line had just started but it is worth the wait. The pulled pork is the most moist I have had to date, must get for sure. The sides are as good as I have had, Mac and Cheese a must also. Will go every time we are in Vegas.

Had read about this place for a few years . Finally made it to Vegas and went to have some Road Kill Grill. It was amazing the meats just melt in your mouth the ribs were awesome and the sides were also great. Portions are super good. The staff were very friendly and even got to meet and talk to the man himself. Of course we didn`t relize it till later . You got us John. Highly recommend this place and we will be back. Wish they made this stuff in Canada this good.

I was disappointed. The setting was great, the people were great. The food was far from stellar. The brisket was watered down with very little flavor. The ribs were burnt and dried out. I did like the beans and pulled pork. For all the hubbub about this place, I will likely not return. To each his own and I am glad other enjoy it.

My son and I love bbq. Raced from the Grand Canyon to catch them before they closed. We had burnt ends, tri-tip, hot links, collard greens, mac & cheese, followed with peach cobbler. Absolutely delicious. We love bbq and struggle to find good bbq, this place does it right. The feel is like being at a family bbq with family you actually like. The staff are incredibly friendly, funny and everyone engages with you. We were treated with the red carpet as if we weren’t holding them up from closing for the day lol. If I ever come back to Vegas this will forever be on my stop list. Get off the strip and enjoy some great food, huge portions and family treatment.

The pulled pork was excellent. The brisket was average. Overall a good meal that was reasonably priced. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Our first visit to this wonderful place was awesome. When we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces and guided through the ordering. Kim was fantastic and made us feel so welcomed. The food is so good!! Then chef came out to talk to us. Found out he was at the Stagecoach BBQ!! He was so friendly. Definitely coming back.

The food was great. The music was great but your customer service sucks. 1 hour to wait in line to order. 90 minutes waiting for my food. Your staff was overworked and not pleasant. Maybe because it was a Saturday

Excellent BBQ. It is a to-go type of food vendor. They do have outside covered, misted seating. The food is great and the customer service excellent. Well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

Not on the strip so grab an Uber and take off. Great barbecue sauces and an excellent atmosphere. You will love sitting outside in this casual fun place. The brisket was not as good as last time we went but we still enjoyed everything. Definitely get the sausage and enjoy some sweet southern cornbread. Some of our crowd grab some cobbler and they were thrilled. Everything was well enjoyed!

Our 1st visit to John Mull’s Road Kill. What we had was very good, but next time we’ll try some other meats. The burnt ends were great. The TriTips were good but not great for us. The baked beans were fabulous. The macaroni & cheese was good. Worth going back to.

This place is worth the drive (at LV city limits). The tri-tip was great along with all the other BBQ chicken and pork. Fixins (coleslaw, mac & cheese, collard greens, green beans), were good and servings were generous. Peach or cherry cobbler tops it off well. No wonder folks come out and line up for the BBQ!

Went here after seeing it on DDD with Guy Fierie. It was OK but a disappointment after the high exceptions engendered by the DDD show. We had the 3 meat combo with 2 brisket and 1 rib-lets; all was good, OK, but not outstanding. I would not drive out to in again next time in Vegas.

Stopped for a quick lunch here and was very satisfied. Bare bones type of cafeteria setup inside but line moves quick enough. Good quality barbecue meats are plentiful. Tender brisket, pork and chicken. After paying, there are tables outside where you could sit and eat. Only complaint is that they have pipes running above the seating area that let out a mist to cool people off. In a few areas, water is dripping onto the benches or tables, which doesn’t make for a pleasant meal. May get the delicious food to go next time.

Best BBQ by Far! We are foodies from SF and have eaten BBQ all around the world. This is the best BBQ ever, Best dish is the BBQ Beef Rib Dinner, have never had such a succulent and tasty rib. Best side dishes, yams, greens and corn bread. Very well organized with take out and social distancing inside and out. A special thank you to Nita in the meat dept, and Chuck the manager on duty. We really appreciated your excellent service and All of the staff are friendly and it is a very happy and great place.

Had heard about this place on the Food Network, but had not had a chance to try it out before. It did no disappoint. I ordered 3 meats with 2 sides, my wife 2 other meats with 2 other sides. You should have heard us. With every bite of each new item, we were completely impressed. The beans, Mac-Cheese, sweet potatoes, tri-tip, hotlinks, ribs. All exceptional. A must do off the beaten path.

Get there by rental car, or Uber, but get there! This is a MUST stop if you love brisket - or ribs or pulled pork. I took Guy Fieri's advice from a Las Vegas episode of Dives, Drive-ins and Diners and was blown away by the melt in your mouth brisket sandwich that I shared with my husband. After standing in line with locals and regulars, inside a tiny space where you can see the staff loading up your sandwich and sides, and paying at the register, you carry your food out to eat in a shaded section of family style picnic tables or take your food home, Either way you're in for a luscious meal. Highly recommended but no ambiance. Just good ole barbecued goodness.

This will be my 3rd review of John Mull's, but it deserves all the credit for one more review. When we come to town we always try to get back for the BBQ and we are never disappointed, my brother and mom where in town for a visit too and John Mull also had a visit from the Fed Ex Nascar crew, so my brother was chomping at the bit to go for the food and visit the nascar crew and they didn't disappoint. We have sent many of our friends there and also keep a flyer at my house so when we have visitors, they can have an option to make the drive. The staff is always very friendly and it is apparent that they are happy to be there. cant wait to return for the best BBQ in Vegas

Came here for lunch with friends. Took about 45 minutes to get through 2 lines. One to pay and one to get your food. They did have cold bottled water and they were serving samples of barbecue beef sandwiches. Typical barbecue items on the menu and sides. Meals were $10-15. Meals came with 2 sides and a muffin. Ribs were decent. 1/2 chicken was ok. Shredded chicken was too saucy and shredded pork was ok. Yams and coleslaw were good. The potato salad and Mac and cheese were not as good. Collards were good. People work hard here and must be a bear in the summer heat as all outdoors.

I have eaten here 3 times now, and they have gotten my order wrong 2 of the 3 times. Check your order before you leave. The line was too long every time I went. I am thinking, I won't be going again.

All items on a steam table and served barely warm. A bit on the dry side. Not muck smoke flavor. Nice selection of sides. Great collard greens. OK slaw. Basically all are quite mediocre. Fair prices. Counter service.

Look yall I LOVE me some BBQ okay. I've even had BBQ in Texas and never in a million years would I think the best BBQ I've ever had would come from a BBQ joint in Las Vegas. When I travel in the states I usually look up places that have been on Triple D (Diner's Drive-Ins and Dives) and this place popped up. Triple hasn't disappointed me yet and usually the food is good but this time it was exceptional. The service was also exceptional. The staff was friendly and even though we had to wait it was well worth it. We had a little bit of almost everything: tri-tip, brisket, hot links, ribs, chicken, rib tips, greens, Mac n cheese (FIRE), yams, potato salad (FIRE), and baked beans (took me OWT they were so good), and peach cobbler. The best part is that the prices are damn good. We got all of that for $44 and some change and they were not stingy with the food at all.

We didn't read the details and arrived after 6 pm, when they close - because it is outside! They surely did their best to take care of us and we loved the food, and the experience!

No hype! This place smack! The only bbq place I will go out of my way for. Everything from the food to the service is awesome

Smoked mac and cheese with grilled chicken. The chicken was super moist and full of flavor without the sauce. The rest of the table order other stuff....beef! The table was completly quiet for at least 20 minutes while everyone filled their pie holes.....my mother reported the peach cobbler was amazing! The pic is of the pulled chicken....my sister enjoyed hers....so much they went back the following day. Yummy yummy and yummy so more!

The rest of the family liked it more than I did. The meats were tender and moist, but the brisket seemed watery rather than juicy. The pulled pork was swimming in a tomato-based sauce that did not hit the right note for me. The pulled chicken and the ribs were declared delicious. Love the cornbread and the baked beans. Quick service and generous servings.

Best barbecue that can be had anywhere! If you’re in Vegas be sure to stop! Everything on the menu is awesome! The cobbler is outstanding

Not at all what I expected. It's in a residential area, tucked in between houses. Only outside seating. The staff was very friendly, and quick. I ordered the 2 meat combo with ribs, rib tops, collards, and mac and cheese. The ribs and the tips were pretty good. The mac and cheese was just ok. But the collards were awesome! My wife got a two best combo with pulled pork, brisket, potatoe salad, and macaroni salad. The brisket was pretty good also. But the the pulled pork really only tasted like their bbq sauce. The potatoe salad was very good. The macaroni salad had way too much pickle in it. Overall not a bad place to eat, but wasn't impressed enough for a second visit.

Food service and value is perfect, 5 stars. What most people will complain about is the wait, if you are from out of town, sure, but if you want to take time off work to grab some lunch you are taking an hour without eating. A line always is going out the door because the food is unique and flavorful. You will be glad you tried it!

I had the Beef burnt ends dinner. It came with 2 sides: I chose potato salad (very good) and cole slaw(mediocre). The meal was served in a sturdy compartment tray/box.The quantity was very generous. The meat was delicious. Servers are very friendly. The counter space is small, so get ready to be snug! Lots of seating outside (covered). Easiest way to get there, not the shortest. is go North on Decatur Bl. One you have crossed the I95 intersection continue for 2-3 miles on Decatur till you come to a signal at Gowan street (right after the intersection with Cheyenne). Turn left on Gowan, then at a stop sign, turn right on Thom. Restaurant is a couple of blocks up on the right.

Our family of 5 drove out from the Vegas Strip. We hunt down DDD joints when traveling, and this has to be the best one so far! Between the five of us, we sampled everything from ribs, pulled pork, hot links, brisket, and chicken. Sides included green beans, collards, yams, mac & cheese, and the most heavenly cornbread known to man. EVERYTHING was amazing, and nothing disappointed! The portions were enormous, and we had more than enough for dinner as well. This is definitely friendly family food made and served with love, but keep in mind that personalized service takes time. You may need to wait a bit, but it's totally worth it. (The site can handle a larger line or crowd than the late Monday afternoon that we visited.) Plus, the occasional tray of samples while we wait? Sign me up! Note --- there is no seating inside. The main entry contains a meat counter and a hot serving line. All food is packaged to-go, but there are covered picnic tables outside with fans and misters.

I like the ribs and rib tips, hubby snarf's the brisket and baked beans. My 23 year old LOVES their Mac and Cheese, she spent 2 years in the Philippines and the first thing she did upon returning home was to drive 2 hours to get Roadkill Grill Mac and Cheese. That's the best review anyone could come up with. Yum

It was super delicious and the price affordability was very good. Ordering was easy and Mann could eat there relaxed. What was great was that there was water for free as much as man wanted.

Got there and waited for 1 1/2 hours for our food , that was very average . Meats were NOT cooked in a pit, as it had no smoke line/flavor. Meats were likely cooked in an oven and/or roaster . Texas nothing to worry about from this place. By the way, I was treated very disrespectfully by a big back guy , who was on a huge power trip. I promise you guys I did nothing to deserve this ugly treatment, except maybe looking a little frustrated watching the workers talking and joking around way too much, while ALL the customers waited way too long. Guys save your money and go get a steak where you will be appreciated.

I wish I could give the catering for this place no stars because that's how terrible the food was. This was an event put on by a company. When I went to this event last year I thought the food was terrible but I thought it was just a one time thing but I was wrong! I think that ownerof the company putting on the event who is originally from the South should know what good BBQ is but once again I was wrong. The pulled pork was flavorless and swimming in a pool of restaurant service BBQ sauce. Instead of corn bread or traditional rolls they served Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. Wrong!! The baked beans were flavorless and were out of a can. And now for the worst was the the mac and cheese. Where's the cheese? This casserole style mac and cheese was over baked and had a hard crust on the top. I had the fruit cobbler but it was difficult to get to since someone placed the plates and silverware on the same side as the cobbler and it was difficult to get to because there was still a big line of people standing in line for this slop. Whatever you do don't have this place do your catering and please don't even think of trying their restaurant. This food was below the quality of the Circus Circus buffet and that's not saying much.

Tri tip outstanding, rib tips great flavor, chicken quarter excellent and sauce fantastic as well, corn bread lights out, Mac sands and cole slaw disappointing however

Of the many BBQ options in Las Vegas, we chose this place based on reading some positive reviews. We found most of the meat to be only average and the brisket to be awful; but the side dishes were good. We've certainly had much better BBQ meals that didn't require driving so far "off the beaten track." This place doesn't even have tri-tip ever day of the week. Additionally, there's no indoor restaurant and so we were forced to sit at covered picnic tables in the 110 degree outdoor heat. On the plus side, their portions are large.

The line can be very long and it could be very hot. Plus, the place is kind of out of the way tuck in a neighborhood. Food is great. Pulled Pork, red hot, everything was terrific. Sides are even great. Go early when it open to avoid the long lines. It's fun to go and it was on DDD

8 of us stopped by after a day trip to Red Rock Canyon. The pulled pork and burnt ends were delicious. Our group fell in love with the amazing cornbread. Portions were large. The yams, potato salad, beans, and Mac and cheese were great sides. The people were friendly. It was the perfect ending to our off the strip outing, and it was well worth the trip. Their BBQ has our Texan seal of approval!

John Mulls Road Kill Grill. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmm If you like BBQ at all. Then folks you have to treat yourself to this awesome place. You will have leftovers. Anytime I hear of folks are going to Vegas I tell them they need to stop here. I’m from MT but stop any chance I can.

i took my wife herw today, 1st off the marlet opens at 9 and reasturant at 11. anyways thw staff here is just awesome, and i know where they get it from as i met John Mull today and got to tell you 1 hell of an awesome man. beyond friendly. getting back to the food, nothing bad can be said, sauces are awesome, brisket is so dang good, chicken was super good hot links have a great flavor as well the sides were so good and the corn bread super moist and addicting i wanted more, cant wait to make a return trip to Vegas

The barbecue ribs, chicken, pulled are all delicious. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is the limited seating. We usually take out. His butcher shop is fantastic. Prices are good.

Me and my dad visited Vegas and had to stop here after watching DDD. There is NOTHING I could possibly complain about after visiting John Mull's. I am not a hunter but the butcher shop is a rare sight in Las Vegas and is totally cool. But the real treat here is the fantastic people who are only second place to the best BBQ I've had in years. I take good food very seriously and if you like BBQ, or even if you don't, this is a must find for anyone with taste buds. The brisket was juicy, fresh, and tender as hell. The pulled pork was outstanding and best of all, it wasn't drowned in any sauce. They told me that if you have to drown it in sauce, then you don't have good meat! I can't agree more! I hope the people here don't change a thing. Thanks for a great experience!

This was my first time this Guy Fieri featured BBQ joint circa 2012, located about 12 miles Northwest of the strip. The place was surprisingly located in a compound amongst residential homes. There is a lot of parking and a very larger exterior dining area which was quiet except for a group of six people eating at one of the large, covered picnic tables. In contract, the interior is very small and that is where we saw the BBQ showcased on the left and where you order. On the right, is the butcher shop. Yes, it was the real deal! Taking care of business while we ordered was the owner, Chuck Frommer. He is the fourth owner and third generation manning the store that opened 68 years ago in 1954. Our order included the burnt ends dinner ($30), a beef rib ($25), a three-meat combo ($23 – brisket, rib ends, ¼ chicken) and a three-meat combo (brisket, rib ends, sausage). Sides included baked beans, coleslaw, collards and mac n cheese. What I liked: - The real deal of the interior which is unique. Working the butcher shop side of the counter was a pierced and tattooed woman with a half shaven side of colored hair who was one of the nicest people you may meet in Las Vegas. Again, more of the real deal. - The burnt ends were the clear winner. They were as good as any I have come across - The beef rib was large and tender - The collards were also some of the better ones I have eaten. Full of flavor and not over salted. - The sausage was a tad better than average - The baked beans and mac n cheese were average What I Did Not Like: - The interior which is an ordering nightmare because there is no room to move and the order taker lacked any skills for the job at hand - The food lacked smoked aroma and flavor - Our takeout orders were not accurate and we were overcharged - The biggest disappointment was the brisket. I knew it was a bad omen when I saw the thin pre-sliced brisket in the showcase. It was cut with the grain instead of against the grain and tasted old. This is not a good combination. If this brisket were offered for sale to a consumer in Texas, they would lock you up and throw away the key, hands down. - The beef rib was more of an oven baked prime rib than a BBQ rib. It was limp, had not char and lacked flavor. - Their BBQ sauce was not enjoyable and the sliced scallions on the beef rib did not work - The burnt ends were overpriced - The coleslaw could have been the worst I have ever eaten. Its like they sliced the cabbage, added some veggies and dunked it in water. It had no flavor. - The ¼ chicken was a disgrace. No wonder there were no pigeons around. I will leave it at that. My Prime Minister of Beef rating is 8.8 / 10 Moos for the burnt ends, 7.3/10 Moos for the beef rib and 2.3 / 10 Moos for the brisket. Note the burnt ends score was lowered due to its high price point. If I ever came back, I would only order the burnt ends and collards.

absolutelty amazing BBQ, good portions, good people, one of my favorite BBQ places in the country. Must try!

Sweet merciful Jesus in the heavens above!!! I hear choirs of angels singing every time a take a bite!!! 👍🙏🏼❤️ Today I had the pleasure of meeting some of the folks @johnmullsroadkillgrill. From Kim at the front to Nick, the ultimate #pitmaster. Not sure which was better??? The people or the #bbq. If I lived within 100 miles of this place, I would be there AT LEAST once a week!!! #guyfieri wasn’t wrong when he vouched for this joint and neither am I!!!! A definite destination in Vegas.... ================================ #johnmullsroadkillgrill #roadkillgrill #bbqpork #burntends #bbqribs #collardgreens #sogood

John Mull's is just plain good BBQ. The non-descript building in what feels more like a residential area of N. Las Vegas can be a little hard to find, but once you are there it feels authentic and natural. You enter the building and are immediately thrust into a bustling butchery. To your right is the meat counter with people slicing up cuts that are mouthwatering. I watched them carve a ribeye that was so beautifully marbled right next to all sorts of delicious looking steaks. To your left is the Road Kill Grill. They have a somewhat set menu of BBQ with the typical Brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and sausages. I was there with 2 friends and we each got 2 item plates. I got the Hot links and brisket. The links were perfectly spiced and had great texture. The smoked Brisket fell apart in your mouth and the BBQ sauce was perfect (they do have different amounts of heat to the BBQ sauce. I went for the original.) . My buddy had the pulled pork and ribs. Trying a bite of each, I would not be disappointed in selecting either of those. The tri-tip was awesome too, and no-one tried the rib tip. The sides were good too and they have the regular selection. Once you order your meat and sides, your plate is assembled and you pay at the end of the line. You can get your canned drinks there at the end of the line. Once you pay, you turn to your right and you are now in the back end of the kitchen where they are cleaning pots and pans and you go left out the back door. There are covered picnic tables for you to enjoy your lunch or you can take your food to go. The place isn't fancy, but that is not what this place is about. The food is great BBQ and you don't want to miss it!

Went on a Saturday 10/22/18. John Mull was at the grill himself. You get in line, place your order and sit outside at picnic tables. Service was fairly fast, we ordered burnt ends which was a short wait but well worth it. Two meats and two sides and it was enough for two people. Barbecue has enough smoke to taste but not so much it overwhelms the flavor of the meat (like a lot of barbecue joints do). Sides were slaw and yams and we got some corn bread which was also very good. I would definitely go back!

Worth the drive and worth the wait. Too late for the burnt ends. Made some local friends in line for this outdoor offbeat BBQ spot. Everything we ordered was great, portions were huge, and the experience was great.

Been seeing John Mull's Road Kill Grill in my Facebook and Instagram feed. Reviews have been incredible so I had to check it out. Three item combo of brisket, pulled pork and hot links with two sides of mac & cheese and baked beans along with cornbread for only $28.99. Best damn BBQ I've ever eaten.

We went here right before going to the airport for the way home, and we wish we would’ve come here sooner! We got great food, and a ton of it, for a pretty low price. Clarence was very helpful from the time we walked in until we left. Couldn’t be happier with our experience here. Only regret is that we couldn’t take all of our leftovers with us since we were headed to the airport.

A few years ago I saw this place on Diners/Drive-ins and Dives and it seemed really good, so when we visited Las Vegas for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, I convinced my wife to take the 30min drive out to John Mulls. We walked in the door and were immediately greeted by the most wonderful lady, who showed us everything they had, gave us a taste of their Burnt Ends and then helped us choose what we should have ( with the help of another customer called Debbie :-) ). We had the Burnt Ends, Ribs, Coleslaw, Baked Beans,Mac and Cheese and two BBQ sauces. It was all amazing.... I mean really really amazing.... It was that good, that when the Uber driver picked us up, he commented that he lived around the corner and had never been there.... we gave him a taste of the burnt ends we had leftover and he told us he was going there the following day. If they did takeaway to the UK, I would be buying everyday

The BBQ is still off the chain .....great smoky flavor...plentiful servings... The pork ribs...delicious The hot links...fantastic The mac n cheese ...perfection The bean ....wonderful The brisket ...succulent The joint is off the grid (residential area) but we'll worth the drive

We came to Vegas from the UK wanting to try authentic BBQ when we got here the queue was really long but was moving quickly. Once we got to the front we were met by Cricket who was loverly friendly and took our order we then went to collect it and was met by Chuck who is the owner he was very nice getting us to try his burnt ends which were like putting meat flavoured butter in you mouth. It was amazing we then sat outside to eat and all the food was fantastic. If I come back to Vegas I will be coming back here. Amazing food great hospitality.

My partner and myself saw Road Kill Grill on Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Dives, Etc." When he had a day off, he took me to this place and we've been in love with it ever since. The staff here are very nice, they are patient, the prices are incredible for what you get. If you're a meat eater and love great bar-b-q, make sure you don't miss this place while in Las Vegas. Be prepared to be in line but the staff consistently manages to keep the line moving. When the temps rise and the line is long, they always do something nice like pass out cold bottles of water for free! We Love This Place. This is our "go to" place for bar-b-q and it always will be! Thanks Road Kill Grill and Your Staff!

Brisket can be cut with a fork or disolved in the mouth! Moist and tender. Sides are good but had better! Hard location to get there and cool atomosphere except a little warm in the summer.

I ordered rib tibs, pork ribs andcollards. Got home and ate 2 tips and one rib. Doubled up in stomach pain and was nearlyhospitalised.

The quality of this food is unbelievable. I got a pulled pork sandwich and made four sliders with the meat that fell out the next day for lunch. We have also purchased the three meat trays and fed our family of 5.

I ordered brisket, ribs, sausage, potato salad and beans. Brisket was undercooked and stiff as a board, and sausage was overdone and dry. Beans were straight from the can. Potato salad is store bought. Just plain nasty. I wish I didn’t have to give a star.

This place is amazing. The BBQ is the best that I have had in a very long time. I had my first experience with Road Kill in December and enjoyed it so much I took my family visiting from Texas in January so they could experience it. I bragged that it was better than any Texas BBQ. I don't know if they will give up Texas bragging rights, but they agreed it was very good. Their sides are the best (potato salad, baked beans, greens and don't forget the cornbread. Great food.

First, let me start by saying this is my first experience with this establishment and I’m not impressed. Today is July 3rd and I’ve had a very long day; so what I anticipated was going to pick up my (PRE-ORDER) dinner for myself, family and friend only to find, “Ma’am, we are out of hot links”. 😳🤔...gathering my thoughts, “what do you mean, you are out of hot links when I ordered the day before? “We ran out of hot links around 12:00”...or was it 2:00? Doesn’t matter, my blood started to simmer. Ok... The gentleman who assisted me was very professional; although I wanted to be mean, I couldn’t because he personally had no control over the situation. My question to Management is, if you ran out of pre-ordered items, why not show common courtesy and contact customers to give them the option to either cancel or make another selection? Can you say disrespectful and disregarded without consideration. My thing is, I traveled across town and pre-ordered not just for myself but others; leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I am a trained Culinarian and I would never do this to a customer. I’m only one with guests not the mass so this review probably won’t mean much to your business or revenue. I just wanted courtesy, good food and service. As I previously mentioned, this is a first experience and seeing all of the great ratings and rave reviews by customers, I wanted to experience that also. A big fail. I must give the guys points for apologizing and trying to make it right. I appreciate it. I might give them another chance; however, I’m not too sure about my friends and family.

Fourth time visiting Road Kill cafe. First three times amazing this time not so good felt like we were at a cafeteria food was very dry and lacking of flavor. Will not be back. Hope others have a better experience

man oh man this has to be some of the best bbq i have had, definately the best in Vegas, the portions are huge for the price i thought. The cornbread was very moist. the brisket is very good flavored i got the mld bbq sauce and the it was thick and flavorful, the sausage had great flavor and not to hot, beans were a little meaty n tasty. the mac n cheese was chessy and good overall well worth the price and thought very affordable for a bbq joint

Saw this place on DDD - another great find!! Waiting 30 minutes to place our order - but it was well worth the wait!! I enjoyed the pulled pork, pulled chicken, corn bread and unbelievable cherry cobbler!! Highly recommend!!

This place is awesome. Great bbq and large portions at fair prices. Customer service was phenomenal. Every employee know the menu and all were happy to make recommendations. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our visit. The only negative was that our food could have been a few degrees hotter. Heads up: only outdoor seating.

This place has the best BBQ smoked meats that I have ever had in Las Vegas. All of the side dish were delicious. We all had something different with only raves. The prices are great and large portions I will definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

We ordered to go from Door Dash I think it was, so we didn't rate there, but the food was FABULOUS!! We each got the 2 meat plate. SO yummy!

Unique! Lots of outdoor seating. Line moves fairly fast but it got long while we were there. Lots of food on the 3 meat plate...two sides. We ordered two to try almost all their meats and it was way too much food. Brisket, ribs, pulled chicken were good...their pulled pork and hot links are sauces already and we would pass on them next time. Their cornbread was sweet and moist. The slaw was excellent as were the baked beans. They treat their customers real good.

This has been one of the best BBQ restaurants that I have been to in Las Vegas. I make a killing BBQ myself, so I pretty much rate restaurants against my own cooking. The only bummer is they close at 6 PM. This is located in a residential area and has a gravel parking lot.

In a town full of “glitz” this place is just so down-home-genuine, friendly and inviting. I came here with my teenage sons and a very hungry husband and no one left unhappy. The combo meals are very large (great value $) so keep that in mind when ordering. There was a 15-20 minute wait to order but the staff could not have been friendlier and kept everything moving at a brisk pace. We tried a little of almost everything- favorites included: hot links, pork ribs, Mac n cheese, green beans, and the potato salad (which I only ordered based on TripAdvisor recommendations- we all fought over it!!). Everything was very tasty and we enjoyed eating out on the picnic tables in what felt like a neighborhood block party. It was a much needed reprieve from the chaos of the strip! Go hungry.

We arrived by Uber after the restaurant closed. The man said tell your Uber driver to wait but come here. He TOTALLY took care of us with several takeout containers AND one for the Uber driver. We arrived back to our hotel and the food was AWESOME!!! It was so tasty we couldn't say enough about the service and taste! DEFINITELY a place we would return to when back in Vegas! THANK YOU to Clarence and Trey and the rest of the staff!

We have been here several times and it is always phenomenal...a must visit when you are in Vegas! Bring a cooler and take some fresh meat home from the butcher shop too!

The burnt Ends are soooo tender. Love them without the sauce. Has Mac and cheese which was really good. Greens, yams, baked beans, corn bread all delightful. Peach cobbler was amazing. Go hungry. Lots of food

Everyone greets you like you are a long lost friend. Meats were fabulous but the coleslaw was nearly tasteless - not bad after I added a bit of salt and pepper but I wouldn't order again. Didn't realize that there wasn't any seating indoors. August heat was OK because of the shade and breeze.

Another reviewer called the ordering and service process “comically inefficient” - that’s being generous. We got a 3 meat combo and a 2 meat combo. Props where they’re due: what they lack in quality they make up for in quantity - they do deliver a ton of meat. Alas, were it worth eating. The sliced brisket is served from a liquid-filled pan on the steam table and is barkless and is better classified as roast beef. The rib tips were a half percent of dryness away from being jerky. The pork ribs were also dry. The sausage was good, but not good enough to save the day. We got a portion of burnt ends - they could have save the meal had they not been cold. Mac & cheese was a mushy mess. The green beans and the mustard greens were good. I didn’t receive the macaroni salad I ordered. Agree with another reviewer that the burnt ends and maybe the sausage are the only things that might have seen the inside of the smoker. Stay away.

We are staying with friends in Las Vegas I asked my friend about Triple D restaurants and he raved about this place!! Now I know why.. the food was amazing but the people were even better. As we were leaving out the back after paying for our food I asked the cook what was in the boiling pot. Not only did he show us but he then gave us a complete tour of the restaurant. He introduced us to EVERY person working and showed us everything in the back of the house. The owner was working side by side with the employees. I had the rib dinner and the next time I come back I am going to try the 3 meat combo plate. Great job to everyone there!!!!

Wow, this place is amazing. Fun atmosphere and great good, the service was fantastic. Will be back, the burnt ends were delicious.

I met a friend here for barbeque. It was lovely weather, which was perfect as the seating was outdoors. We ordered off the menu and paid and went right into the serving line where we handed over our paid tickets for food. Then, we picked our waters out of a big feeding trough, found a table and enjoyed! Reasonably priced. Casual seating would accommodate 2 or twenty (lots of picnic tables. It wasn't busy when we arrived, but the crowd definitely picked up as the afternoon progressed. Not sure how long the wait was; we moved right through earlier. Definitely good food at reasonable prices if you don't mind picking up your own food, beverage and seating yourself.

Always a must stop for us when we go to Las Vegas. The options of BBQ meats is fantastic and the food is always great. Really look forward to finishing the meal with a fantastic desert.

Amazing food! Must go for any of their delicious BBQ hot food. Super popular every day! My favorite is the pulled pork.

This place is so unassuming! It's a butcher shop plus a restaurant. You order inside, eat outside and I crave this place! The dry rub ribs and hot links are some of my favorites!

Great BBQ not a fan of their sauce but everything else is good. 🍒 cheery cobbler is very good. Pulled pork has their sauce on it and I'd like to get it without their sauce. Also they offer free samples if you would to try something before ordering it.

I'd planned to visit many times before and never made it. So I made it a point to visit on their annual customer appreciation day. Wow oh wow did I choose the perfect time!! There were hundreds of people in line. And I'm going to guess that a couple of thousand filtered through during the course of the day...the food was amazing and full size portions. I figured we'd get sample sizes...nope we got the same thing I would pay for! The service was on point. If you want a fun time out handsome great food, visit The Road Kill Grill!!!

Little chilly and windy, but the food is over the top. Fantastic bbq and sides. It’s a great experience. We were there on Thanksgiving pre order pick up day so the parking lot was packed, but the wait was only 20 min to order and get our food.

I don't understand all the hype. I waited a half hour for dry, flavorless brisket. This was even below grocery store product. Even the barbecue beens were similar to a can type product. I left it on the table and got out of there fast as I could.

We'd heard and read plenty of rave reviews about this place and were eager to give it a try. Sure, it's a funky joint, but the food didn't live up to the hype. We were there on a Friday afternoon and wandered our way to the entrance which wasn't obvious. The atmosphere is industrial in that one stands on line between the food service area and the butcher shop. Carry out or dining outside under an open air cover are the only options. The staff tolerated our presence, but nothing more. We each ordered sandwiches - pulled pork and pulled chicken. Boring is the best way to describe the sandwiches. Grocery store quality rolls, a generous portion of meat and a choice of medium or spicy sauce. We all agreed that the meat was dry without any smokiness. Not flavorful. The sauces were good, but not extraordinary. Like other reviewers, we've enjoyed BBQ in Texas, Montana, Oregon, Idaho and across the American south. We appreciated the opportunity to try this place, but are not hankering to return.

It is barbecue. And it is fabulous. Ate the burnt ends plate & wow! Burnt ends here completely unlike any I’ve ever had & Ive had LOTS of barbecue! Mac salad & beans were both fantastic! Loved it! Even at outside temps at 105!

Tried a plate of three meats: sausage, brisket and ribs. The sausage was excellent- one of the best I ever had! The brisket had no smoke flavor, was more boiled then smoked and lacked taste and just was plain uninspired. The spare ribs had no meat, no smoke and like the brisket no real flavor. The potato salad and mac & cheese were great. Portions were large and the staff was helpful and a lot of fun. There is no interior seating but a lot of picnic tables under canopies.

This Bbq place is a bit out of town, but worth the effort. A super friendly staff, and a unique dining experience with the tables outside. The meats are all tender, juicy and savory. The spicy bbq sauce is not hot, but it has a little bite. Sides like yams, Mac n cheese, and baked beans were all loaded with flavor. Portions are generous

wow and wow. after lots of research on TA and other sites. made a special trip hear when I was visiting Vegas for a soccer tourney. Most of my sons soccer team was along for the ride. It was an adventure to find. Tucked away in a residential area. even when our GPS said we arrived, we still had to look around to find it. step one - stop before you get there and buy some cold beers. they only have can soda. there was a line maybe 50 people when we arrived. The line moves slowly but steady. the seating is only outdoors on picnic tables. our group of 20 had a wide range of food. All food items were well received. Burt ends were so tasty, tender and delicious. Brisket had mixed reviews. the brisket was served sliced - more like roast beef.It wasn't the brisket that is served in thick slices and super tender. depends on your liking. I would probably skip the brisket next time for my liking. side were delicious, green beans, collard greens, mac n cheese, baked beans - fantastic!!! great prices 12 to 15 bucks for two meats, two sides and corn bread. Definitely get here !!!! some said one of the best meals they have had

Who doesn't want to eat at a road kill grill? This is the best barbeque in Vegas. Location seems strange because it is located in a neighborhood not a shopping plaza. LARGE portions, great smoke, great sides (try the mac 'n cheese). All dining is outside. Split one of their 2 meat dinners if you don't have a refrigerator for leftovers. We go here on every trip to Vegas.

Always excellent food!!! Great portions, enough that we split a meal. Tastes like home cooked with love! We got the 2 meat meal. Hot links and rib tips with green beans, Mac n cheese and corn bread. Bottled water was complimentary. Would have loved some cobbler but too full!!

Now this is off the beaten track. My friends who i'm traveling with know how to find it. Its on 3730 Thom Boulevard North Vegas. Just ask!! There is no indoor seating. It is not a fancy place by any means. You sit at picnic style tables, kind you would find at a beach or park but dont let that put you off as this place serves amazing BBQ food. I had a 2 meat platter. Steak tips and Brisket beef along with green beans and sweet potato. Melt in the mouth beef. My friends had link sausage and rib tips. Kids had delicios mac cheese. Various sides and sauces are available for your choice. Drinks are only $1 each and the staff are the friendliest jovial people, knocked out by my Scottish accent. A real BBQ treat of excellent quality. Our bill for 3 adults and 3 kids was $52. Great value. Ask for directions. A simple place not to be missed

John Mull's Meats & Road Kill Grill has the best food and service in Las Vegas! It was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives so we had to try it! It was go good we had to go back the next day to try more! The first day we tried the two meat combo. We had the brisket and quarter chicken with candied yams, mac & cheese, and corn bread! It was delicious! The next day we went back for dinner and this time we got the three meat combo - ribs, pulled pork, and hot links with the mac & cheese, green beans, and bread .We also had to try the peach cobbler! While waiting to order, one of the men came out and gave everyone waiting a sample of the ribs. It was the best rib I have ever had - no exaggeration. When we got inside to get our food we got to meet the owner - he was so friendly and funny - actually the entire staff was exceptional. We told them that tomorrow we would be going back to Ohio so we had to stop by one last time before we left and they gave us a sample of the rib tips along with an extra peach cobbler and bread! We had so much for two people and it was only $21! If you visit Las Vegas, skip the over-priced food on the strip and visit John Mull's Meats & Road Kill Grill - you won't regret it!

SATURDAY FOOD REVIEW...JOHN MULL'S ROADKILL GRILL...5/10/25 Scott and I drove out to North Las Vegas, as a friend of ours told me that if you like BBQ, you HAVE to try this place, John Mull's Roadkill Grill, located at 3730 Thom Blvd., as they supposedly had Texas style BBQ. We got there early, and were the first in line. They technically open at 11AM, and there was a lot of bustling going on preparing for the lunch rush. I spoke with a nice man who made the soups, and he gave us a soup sample. They get pretty busy, and by the time we put our order in, the line had grown significantly, which is usually a good sign. I ordered their 2 Meat Combo of Brisket (no sauce) and Hot Links (no sauce), with macaroni and cheese and collared greens (no bread), plus a side order of their Brisket Burnt Ends. I also wanted the fatty brisket, but the cashier said that you don't get a choice, since it's pre-sliced, and you get what you get. Scott ordered their Beef Rib, with macaroni and cheese and macaroni salad. The cashier said it was 20 minutes until the rib was ready, and she took down his phone number to let him know when it was ready. You would think that they would be less disorganized, and have all of the food ready at the same time. Here's where everything went completely south. I went and sat down, and Scott got my food for me, plus his side dishes. He brought it all to the table, with an extra plate, as we were going to split the meats. I divided it up, and had to send Scott back up to get the burnt ends, which they forgot to add. The collared greens were overcooked, and the macaroni and cheese was dry and so-so tasting. For a line of lots of people, you'd think that the food was fantastic, but it was BEYOND DRIED OUT!!! The brisket had a greyish color to it, and even though it had a smoke ring around it, it had NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER!!! The hot links were barely spicy hot, the burnt ends were also flavorless. I couldn't eat it, and threw it out!!! And Scott, who eats just about everything, couldn’t eat it!!! I went up to the nice soup man and told him about it, which he was shocked to hear! He told me that they slice all of the brisket, then bag it all, and then reheat it in boiling water in the bag (really???). He got me a free pork rib and some sauced cut up pieces of the hot links to see if that was better, but it wasn't. The sauce masked the zero flavored links, but the sauce had a strong taste of vinegar, which I totally did NOT like!! I told Scott to cancel his order, and he came back to the table and said it was canceled (????), but the cashier didn't give him a refund. So, I took the receipt, and talked to the manager, and she thankfully gave me a full refund!!! And as a side note, an hour AFTER we left, we get a call that his rib was ready. I wouldn't recommend eating at this place, despite the great reviews that it has gotten. I'm thinking that those fans of the place haven't tried real Texas brisket, or they love it because the sauce masks the lack of flavor. Either way, I won't be going back. My rating: 1

I ordered from the online menu where it stated it was $22.99 but when I went there and looked at my receipt it was $26.99 and ask to speak to the manager,I spoke to Renita, and she was very rude and did nothing to help. I had to request for a refund because she wasn’t trying to help and just call the vendor who updated her online prices saying they forgot to take it down. I was pregnant with my son and this place will never get my business. She was so unprofessional to be a manager.

Perfect barbeque in vegas. The meat so juicy, the sauce so tasty. The ambiance is perfect for barbeque meal in autumn. Waiting for their venison salami.the best.

visit based on reviews & GGG, our order was wrong, brisket dry, pulled pork vinegary & greens bland.

I love my Carolina BBQ but his had some great sauce! It was a little off the beaten path but definitely worth the trip!

It was two hours total from when we arrived. Stood in line. Ordered. Waited for our yummy food. Ate. Then left. So plan enough time. We got there about 5:15 and they closed at 6. Best corn bread ever, tasted a bit like pound cake. BBQ sauce was tasty!

This is a great place to get whatever you need. The food is clean raid farm animals. You can eat at the grill and then go buy fresh cut meats at the butcher shop. I love this place. I go regularly.

I assumed burnt ends were dry until I went to Road Kill Grill. Those were the best things I have ever eaten. Moving forward, I will say goodbye to my old favorite (RIBS) and "end" with the new. You have to give them a try!!!!

This meal was fantastic! The amazing foods, great service and wonderful staff! The food is full of flavour and absolutely delicious. Staff is welcoming and helpful. Would recommend to anyone coming to Vegas to try!!!

Looked this place up and it was an amazing bbq joint. Literally a shed where you order and can eat outside. Amazing bbq items and incredible mac n cheese. Great staff!!!

Guy Fiery wouldn't know good food if it bit him on the ass. Have you been to any of his restaurants. Over priced, Over rated CRAP.

I was expecting great BBQ. There was this long line. The ordering process was not bad. Girls came to each person in line took order and then you waited. If I had not driven almost 30 minutes to get there I would have left when I saw how the food was kept. The people on the line were tired and done and it look like they had a mess to clean after the last order was done. No care on how food was plate and for it being as busy as it was, food did not look fresh. Mac and cheese, green bean and greens had no flavor, rib tips were dry as heck didn't even try the ribs and again no flavor. Hubby was disappointed with pulled pork and he said the smoked sausage taste like kielbasa and that was the only thing that had some kind of flavor. He hates kielbasa. Last time I take a recommendation from Diner, drivers and dives.

Yes they have smoked meats, and sides all prepared from the heart. Get off the strip meet some great people and enjoy the BEST food you will have while in Las Vegas. We had Rib Tips, Briaket, 1/4 chicken Mac and cheese macaroni, beans and macaroni salad with cornbread. Everything homemade and delicious.

Incredible and outstanding barbecue, superb hospitality and service. Definitely, hands down some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Great value for the dollar. Our favorites were the ribs, brisket, burnt ends, sausage, baked beans and yams. I will definitely be back!!! Believe all the hype about this place, it over delivers. Service/hospitality: 10 out 10 Vibe/atmosphere: 10 out 10 Prepation/taste: 10 out 10 Value for the dollar: 10 out 10

Since the first time I saw this place on Diners, Drive Ins & Dives, it's been on my list to go. Did NOT disappoint at all. It's rather cramped when placing your order but there are lots of tables outside with heaters. Everyone was super nice. Found out that the guy taking my order was also from Louisiana like me! Actually we grew up only a few miles apart. Portions were huge. I had the burnt ends which were the best I've ever had. They know how to make real baked beans too!! Also had a side of collards & macaroni salad. Will certainly be going back!!!

Beats... Famous Daves and Texas Roadhouse hands down! I have been going here for several years. The food is fresh, hot and yummy. And they have a full service butcher shop on site. Which also processes game meat.

We heard the mac n cheese was a good choice - it was. The portions were huge to us and we had plenty of leftovers for later. Not fancy, but worth the stop. Nice people and perfect picnic setting outside under a large canopy. Thanks

Ok so i think my Hubby makes the best BBQ, however, honestly, we, even hubby thinks this place is off the hook....OMG. They have the most tender and delicious rib tips, beef ribs, and other succulent meats, the veggies, greens, rice and beans, potato salad are so delicious you want to eat eat eat until you are no longer conscious. They also sell awesome cuts of meats that you can cook at home, i bought a tri-tip that cooked to perfection and was so tender that no teeth was needed. Give it a try when you are in Las Vegas you will not be sorry.

Tried every meat they had, and have to admit, the beef brisket is my favorite. The pulled pork came in second place and the pork ribs third. Make sure you sit in the shade because the heat can roast you!

This was a great find from 'Diner, dives, and drive-thru's'. The service was fast even though the ordering area is very small. And the food was really quite good. I suggest you get there just before they open to get in line. If you are not a huge fan of barbecue sauce just let them know so that they can ease off when scooping over the top. Very nice people too!

I'm thinking that it was bad because it was closing time and they were running out of food. The ribs and the other meats were dry, tuff and had No flavor. The ribs had that parboiled taste (Bland), brisket, dry and tuff to chew and again No flavor. The sausage was OK. The other meats were inedible. Very disappointing. The staff however are courteous and I believe that they would do what it took to make it right. Unfortunately I was flying out of the state.

After seeing them on Diners, Drive ins and Dives, we had to try...we are brisket fanatics! A little strange, it looks like a butcher shop, with no windows. When we went inside to order, it was a little chaotic and we weren't sure which direction to go in, but we made it to the cashier and fumbled through our order. Outside dining on picnic tables or to-go service only. The food was really good and plentiful. It was a cooler day in Vegas, so eating outside was comfortable.

John Mulls Road Kill Grill. if you like BBQ and your in Vegas, Outstanding Food, Large portions, great price. Must visit. Might have to wait in line but worth it.

Whenever we are anywhere near Las Vegas, we drive the extra miles to go to Road Kill Grill!!! Excellent food, friendly service. We have also bought meat from the meat market there to take home and cook later on. Delicious food!

Have been here numerous times after having eaten at Rollin Smoke BBQ and they come nowhere near the taste and prices at the Roadkill Grill. They are 1/2 the price and much higher on the taste scale than Rollin Smoke. But as you will use GPS to find it don't be panicked that you are going through a residential neighborhood as they have been in the same location for 70+ years and the neighborhood just grew up around them. It's the only Commercial Property in the area.

Now THIS is what BBQ is supposed to be ! Incredible Burnt Ends and Pulled Pork for dinner today - full of flavor and perfectly cooked. In 50 years, I have never had better. "You are amazing John" !! GO THERE and GET SOME KILLER BBQ - HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Really disappointing. I feel bad for LV if this is their best bbq. Aside from the near comically slow and inefficient ordering/serving system, the food is awful. Brisket is slices of grey meat on a steam table no bark, no smoke . Not sure any of the meat other than sausage and burnt ends ever saw a smoker All of the Sides are overcooked mush you choose a color but same texture Chili looked like Itd would have flavor, ground meat base, but salt so dominates, hard to taste anything else

I was in the area and finally decided to stop. Ordering was easy. I ordered the brisket dinner, with coleslaw and green beans. Everything was outstanding!! I had enough brisket to take home and have for dinner.

We love all of the food at John Mulls Road Kill Grill, but when we get together as a family we love their takeout...Enough ribs and sides and choices that make eating a delight.

After living in Las Vegas since 1991 , I finally made it here . I have ate a lot of BBQ over the years having grown up in South Carolina , lived in Texas , and now Las Vegas . I have had almost every place in town and most are just average . I parked and went in the door and there was a big line . It went pretty good for the speed . I got 2 two meat platters for me and my son . Took them home and we ate for 2 days on it . I even made a You Tube Video for my channel , Tips From A Bellman . Okay , here we go . Hot Links are the best in town and so is the pulled chicken . I got two cups each of the Spicy BBQ sauce and the Original BBQ sauce . The pulled chicken needs no sauce , smoky with a touch of sauce already on it . The pulled pork taste better with the spicy bbq and the burnt ends taste better with the original bbq sauce . The Mac & Cheese is the best I have ever had and I sincerely mean it . Get yourself two sides of it ! The beans were kind of plain , Famous Dave's has the best beans . The coleslaw my son and I both hated . Potato salad was kind of plain , but not bad . Got the corn bread which was moist and not that baked dry kind . Overall I will be back when I am on that side of town .

Funky, fabulous, barbecue spot! Imagine the best barbecue on the backroads of the South. Ribs, brisket, pulled pork and hot links. Beans, both baked and barbecue are terrific. Restaurant is out of the way. But worth the jaunt. Similar to the original Bludsoes in Compton. Great food.

This was a totally bizarre experience for Vegas. Reminded me a lot of Gates in KC. Food was good and priced fairly. Rookies - it’s a struggle to figure out what to do so here’s the playbook. Menu outside door and inside. Step inside and get in line to place order. Wait through line to pay and get food. Drinks ordered at the register. Bottled water or canned pop. Step out back door and you are literally in the “work” area. Turn to the left and there are picnic benches as well as the ones your saw you out front when you came in. Yes, you eat there. They also sell packaged meat inside the place. Benches are shaded. We did have to hunt for a trash can. Some left the trash on the table. Wasn’t clear what to do on that one. This place has been on Triple D - Diners, Drive-in’s and Dives. Was a unique visit and fun start for the vacay. Good choice for foodies wanting something off the beaten path. When your gps directs you into a neighborhood, yes, you are in the correct place!

Every trip the Vegas means at least one trip here!!! This place is still the best BBQ in the world and i have not had anything anywhere that comes close!!

We got 3 combo meals, brisket, pork ribs and rib tips with baked beans and yums! it is a finger leaking good! Big portion for 2 and we still have left over!

Away from the glitz and sparkle of the strip near North LV airport in a neighborhood lies this place. Good large portions, food seemed to not be smoked but rather grilled. Brisket was more like thin roast beef slices then chopped or sliced brisket. Sides were good, burnt ends were amazing, chicken was grilled nicely. Worth a trip but was overall disappointed. Tidbit: bring your own drinks.

Nice people, excellent food an ample sitting area. Prices are low and food portions are generous. For sure I will be back for more

20ish minutes north west of the strip hotels in a residential neighborhood is a bbq gem. Food was fresh and tasty. Portions are huge. Burnt ends are incredible. Brisket was not the best. Rib ends were very good. All the sides were excellent and crafted like home made. This place was worth a special trip!

After reading an article about BBQ places in Vegas, we stopped here for lunch. When we got there it looked like many of the BBQ places in the south, outside seating, order at the counter, lines out the door and a building that looked like it had seen better days. We were both going to get a 2 meat combo, but after seeing the size of the portions we decided we would split one. We had the pulled chicken and the rib tips with mac and cheese and the sweet potatoes along with corn bread. WOW!! Some of the best BBQ we have ever had. These people really know how to do it. Meats were tender, moist and not over sauced. All the sides were very good. Now for the best part, it only came to $20 including 2 cokes! If you like good BBQ, do yourself a favor and give them a try. If there is a line, wait, it will be worth it!

they say hole in the walls have the best food,. Road kill goes way beyond hole in the wall. the staff here at this unique place is fantastic and they feed off John Mull. he is always very friendly. the food is just amazing the value is way over the top. heapings of meat and sides. got a pork sandwhich and i could of made 2 sandwhiches with the amount of delicious pork they piled on
Life Changing BBQ
We’ve been going to this place for a long time, and recently had the privilege of going again after moving away from Las Vegas a couple of years ago. I got the Pulled Pork Sandwich and when I took a bite of it the feeling was indescribable. It was just so perfect. It’s hard to eat BBQ anywhere else after eating here 😭
